Hate

Hate's human folly—
A most tragic emotion,
A sign of despair . . .
       It splits people asunder . . .
Brings sadness and wounds the soul!

Why Does She Hate Me

Unconscionable She attacks my weak ego My sure existence I hurt with ultimate pain Crushing my very being She destroys my peace All which brings pleasure to me Sure does falter here I don’t know her reasoning For my love is hers alone

Toe to Toe

They stand toe to toe
Neither will give up their ground
A battle for fools
For they both possess great strength
One will be destroyed today
The winner receives no prize
The blood screams out from his hands
For him there's no sleep
Glassy eyes peer from the dark
Brother dead on ground

Trying out Harry Horsman's toe to toe tanka.

Love and Hate

They say love and hate

    Closest thing to each other

        Who are they that say

            Rather be alone with love

               Than coupled along with hate...

Tanka

Tanka
There are two visions
The irresponsible bygone
And the impending
Together they disappoint…big
As we just live in the now.

Curse of Hate

The witches held men Up against the wall of pain Where they are shackled To take the brunt of the curse Leaving them helpless to hate They will infect more Of their own people in town Creating hate throughout The townsfolk fear their return How they will spread hate around Death sure soon follows To kill the many lost ones The curse will live on Through the few that were taken Where Halloween brought a curse

HATE

poor wounded child -
they did something bad to you
and it caused you pain
but you let them have your life
so - now - who is it you hate?
