No Goodbye

    All the people gone

        not wanting to say goodbye

            next to you i sit

                frozen unable to weep

the earth falls from my small hand...

Inner Struggle

Inner Struggle

is it the stars
on a cloak of midnight blue
or the moon beams
dancing through the canopy
that eases reality’s view?

the reflection
in the window pane
begs answer
for it’s tears, not rain,
that stream on the glass

silent cascades
bare the resistance
of approval
prayerfully awaiting
the dawning acceptance

Time to say goodbye my love

My chain is now frail
Damaged by your weaken link

My venture begins
Left with simple forgiveness

Unwarranted departure.

goodbye

blinking back tears

   that threaten to flow

       my eyes are burning

this will be our last goodbye

    angels will carry you home

System Overload

Darkness consumes me
Corrupted thoughts take over
Soul becomes hollow
Self castigation occurs
Tears of blood destroys all hope

The Exodus

Oh this hour is ill
rends those it should reunite
together as one,
yet my wings from you in flight
time it is to say goodbye.

Hello and Goodbye

Hello and Goodbye The final story of Life As Time marches on Its irreversible path That can never be erased

My Dearest

I held her cold hand
She silently slipped away
I sank into tears
Her gift is on the table
I wrapped it myself, today.

THE NIGHT WILL ALWAYS COME

Trees swaying at night
Dark…with stars shimmering bright
Silhouettes of you
I hear the music inside
It has stopped and you are gone

Goodbye dear friend

To simplicity
hail to you a stress free day...
another friend falls
into intellect aims high
high as the sky—yes heaven.

Love's city limits

Love’s city limits

Hands still warm but letting go

Stars sparkle in tears

Glimmering eyes say goodbye

I should not have let you go

GOODBYE

When leaves in whisper
say goodbye to all at fall
once of life--- mutates
combats the chill of the eve
to waltz within heartless breath.

Mighty Sycamore
shaking off the morning dew
mist that envelops
undaunted spoiling the view
nature’s meltdown renewed.

So autumn imprints
aging--- all life at its best
when hue red and gold
scurry along woodland chase
driven by the artful wind.

lamentation

mournful chanting song of only your flowered grace lone, I reminisce at the edge of old green pond sorrow flows on each ripple...

Saying Goodbye

She rests now in peace in a satin-lined casket Calm as frozen stream O death, where's thy victory? My Mother's now in God's care!
I dedicate this to my Mom who passed away last Wednesday, 2/4/2015)

Her Last Footsteps

                                   small and frail, she labors

                                          over the sand

                                       touching the ocean

feeling the breeze one last time

before waves of death claim her

Stationary Prisoner

bidding her farewell,
mist of unsaid confessions
rail track forever
in legs turned heavy anklets
--stationary prisoner--

loss

height of knowing peace

joyous in splendid wonder

truth master of all

inner heart of each traversed

the wind is untamed and free

My Tom

lonely tears streaming
drown her weariness of life
reaching ever down,
she placed her love like flowers
upon her stalwart, best friend.

Kiss The Past Goodbye

Kiss the past goodbye

She gets in her car to drive

Top down, wind in hair

Future anticipation

She's not turning back again.

Goodbye

No one likes them much

we must use them at least once

tears are prevalent

although some are not quite sad

Goodbyes are always must haves
