Hello, Good-bye, So Long On CD

You say you like to ride in my pick-up truck,
to sing karaoke, and drink some beers,
but how can you say country music sucks,
when your rappin' nearly burns my ears,

Well, you can think and say, but by the way,
I'm also gonna speak my mind,
'cause country music is what I'll sing 'n' play,
if you don't like it, kiss my behind,

And you don't have to stand in line,
to kiss where the sun don't shine,
good country music, to me, sounds fine,
but your yappin' rappin' just ain't my kind,

Yea, I'm a country boy, deep to the core,
if you can't tell by now, you're blind,
and like I've said many times before
that crap in rappin' just ain't my kind,

I know you don't like my snake skin boots,
though my cowboy hat you say is fine,
but cowboy boots are part of my country roots,
since way back, a long long time,

Yea, you don't have to stand in line,
to kiss where the sun don't shine,
good country music, to me, sounds fine,
but your yappin' rappin' just ain't my kind,

Yea, you don't have to stand in line,
to kiss where the sun won't shine,
and if my boots don't turn you on,
then I reckon you'd best get gone,
So hello, good-bye, so long,

But, before you go, If you don't mind,
leave a kiss where the sun don't shine,
since country music doesn't turn you on,
and my snake skin boots don't turn you on,
Yea, I reckon, you'd best get gone.
So hello, Good-bye, So Long.

Nature's Music Box

Nature’s Music Box

The sun will rise to a symphony
As nature conducts her song,
The peaceful waves start to dance
And the seagulls sing along.
The man on the moon and a violin
He performs in a stringed quartet,
Musical notes float across the sky
As shadows dance in silhouette.
Seasons change her melodies
And the world will always Spin,
Thank you Nature’s Music Box
Please play your soul again.

Remember Me

The sun shines yes I know
A heavy gust as the wind wants to blow
Leaves flying high in the sky and then hitting the ground
The sun decides to fall as the moon decides to rise
As darkness begins to be all around

Remember my smile as the sun that shines
Remember my breath as the wind blows
Remember my feelings as the moon begins to rise
Remember me even when I die

The fire burns everything in sight
But the rain rids its heat with all its might
The cold weather is now here
And the sun begins to disappear

Remember my love as the fire burns
Remember my pain as the rain falls
Remember my hugs as the weather gets cold and dry
Remember me even when I die

The breeze cools everything and everyone down
Even that sad person walking into town
Listen to music on the days you have a frown
And at night dream as you lay in your gown

Remember my passion as the breezes begins to settle
Remember my words as the music plays
Remember my inspiration when you start to dream
In the heavens I will be lifted up high
So remember me even when I die

Music of Sun

I have heard
The Music of Sun
Accompanied by
The chattering of Birds
Which he makes
While embracing
The horizons every evening

The Music comes
When the Sun feels the touch
Of the soft and colorful embrace
Of clouds and dust hanging in the sky
And his heart began to sing a song
On the heart's tune of every passer by.

Livin ' by the Sea

livin’ on the beach in a hut by the sea
green grass , warm gentle breezes and all kinds of lovely trees .
I’m gonna beat the heat to make my retreat sittin by the sea
Cause its winter in the world cept livin here with me
I am happy to make your acquaintance
And i raise a glass to your health , long life and prosperity
So peace my friends and welcome to the sea
Where the music is playin’ ,the sun is shinin’, the people gentle and free
No hassles from the man and no worries will make your day go bad
Lay back and hear the music that wont be sad
The sounds will keep you cool listenin’ to the beat
The sun and the gentle warm breezes
All the pretty girls in bare feet paradin’ down the street
where livin is easy and laid back like u want life to be
Plenty food and drink for you man
To sing and dance the night away
Come down to the sea and live your life away

My Travels

My travels start
Right here
Deep in my mind
My travels take me just where
I please I don't have
To leave my warm room

My travels start
Sixteen sun
Beating down
Sinatra's crooning Jobim
And I'm just dreaming of my
Great romance to come

I don't need a little ticket
Tells me I can take the train
I don't even to risk it
There's no blistering sun
Or driving rain
And it's here that I remain

My travels end
With a sweet
And peaceful time
I've found such sense deep within
No more will I feel
The need to go travelling again.

Sound of Colors

I woke up to the sound of colors
from a misty dream

heard the blue bells ringing
and a trombone playing the cream

a pink rhapsody kissed my lips
as the sun climbed into our bed

whispering a love song
in yellow, orange, and red.

Stay

She said baby I have to go,
I said girl you don't need to go,
Because baby I want you to stay,
'Til the sun rise,
'Til the end of the night,

I said baby I'm feelin you,
And I'm fallin in love with you,
Which is somethin I never thought I would do,
But, I did today,
So girl, Why don't you stay,

Chorus:2x
Why don't you stay, 4x
'Til the sun rise,
'Til the end of the night,

She said baby I have to leave,
I said girl I don't want you to leave,
My darling please stay with me,
'Til the night end,
Then come back again,

Because baby we have a chance,
For us to have a great romance,
So, girl take my hand and dance,
You don't have to go,
Baby don't go,
Chorus: 3x

'Til the sun rise,
'Til the end of the night,

Char-Sun

Char- Sun On the night of the charred sun a male child is born The Indians called the harvest Moon a charred sun This became the child’s name as he grew in wisdom He was not a warrior he was born to be a healer Char sun grew into a very strong spiritual man When he was small, a white man had given him a flute He told Char sun if he learned to play it, sweet music would arise All of nature’s living things would come to sit at his feet He would sneak off into the woods for hours at a time practicing One night Char sun saw the same Moon he was born under A voice began to speak to him and a fire entered him The voice told him to play your gift will lead you His fingers flew across the flute and the music was sweet Coming from the forest were the deer, squirrels, eagles and bears The rest of the tribe heard the music and began pouring into the forest Curious about where the sweet music was coming from and why Arriving upon such as seen the chief bent down and knelt on one knee The remainder of the tribe slowly dropped one by one to their knees For Char sun has become the holy man within the tribe The animals that follow him carry the spirits of our ancestors The chief stands to his feet and declares “This night Char sun Has become our holy man called by the great king of the sky The song of their tribe began to rise, paying homage to the king Our winters will be fruitful and our land will prosper cried the chief Char son was born to guide us into the holy lands Each warrior here will follow and protect him The buffalo will run and our bellies will be full Our time of famine has been broken through the gift Of Char sun Carole Cookie Arnold Constance La France’s Contest Tell His Story

Trip Twist

In the void, sipping the zoid,
with mental properties of tripping on the spiral.
Falling down the tail of lions, awkwardly spinning.
With upside down tunnel vision leaking through.

Solidifying all matter that matters,
melting into the walls of your brain.
It tickles all the raindrops dripping in your eyes,
satisfying your desire of a synchronized pattern.

Bleeding purple from the rainbow,
and turning into swirls of diamonds.
Slipping exuberantly beside you; driving you wild.
Where the shadows stop the spirited scream.

Devour yourself into the omniscient grip.
Icy cold finger tips scratch the surface of your divinity,
bringing you closer to the God who whispered in your unborn ear,
situated in your flesh from birth to death.

It embeds itself in the pupil of your eye,
dancing with your spirit and licking your soul.
Black shapes of madness wrapped in chaos and euphoria.
Twinkling and blinking dust of a cloud.

Haze filled skies and blood filled smoke raining from the clouds.
Envisions of clowns and demons laughing at our demise.
Chilling sensations of sickening mannerisms,
mechanisms and mechanics sought out to destroy the tiny creatures.

These creatures running crazy into acceptance of demise.
Deprived of life, scared of death but giving into it's taste.
Taste buds quiver as the taste grows sweeter.
Death, oh death, tell everyone who you really are...

Too long have you been hidden in the shadows you cast,
too long have we rendered your pain.
The world grows sicker as the hairs in my head grey.
I'll never surrender as demons always circle.

Today, begins a new day of our fight.
And I have a good feeling about this day.
Onward, we have united our minds and gathered ourselves within.
Always ready for we accept our fear.

We accept our hate and everything in between.
Accept it all for what it really is.
No amount of doubts will over throw us.
Onward, to peace.

Lady Una and the Lion

Walking in the meadow of life on that summer day

Where she always loved to be at Una walked along the steady stream
As she picked up the white Lilly flower and put upon her hair of gold (princess of love)

And the daughter of a dander king
Una suddenly turned her head to the old orchard tree and begun to sing roman lullabies of joy

With tears of affection shed for the god who lives above the skies
At that moment she gazed back to the stream
And there the lion stood so tall just like a king eyes wide looked to una
As she went toward the mighty lion he went to her and utter'd thee words
I am a creature of pride with nothing to hide I am pure of heart true of courage with a mask of savage a mane gold as our hearts-

She became very happy and intrigued
As she laid her gentle hands on upon the lion she spoke these words
  -I love thee lion and by sun and moon I love thee freely as men strive for right;
I love thee purely in my old griefs and childhood's faith

There a tiny lamb appears right next to her and the lion
So small and graceful like a gift from god above
The tiny lamb followed them further into the enchanted meadow sky as crystal blue and the wind is calm they drifted off strung into the world
To bring new love joy and courage to the world and spread good faith

Lilies of the Sun

Every dawn, to dream
the world is somehow re-created.
The impossible, under the orange.

With fighting rays protruding
out of the sun, (the heaped unbeatable).
(Foe of the night ash).
Turning into, (all horizons) far

Bear yourself to the unbearably high branches-
letting the ponds cry in sorrow
wearing your warm diamond cloak
causing it to magnify it’s intention

Yet, of virgin white lilies,
If your nature;
to reach toward the orange
then reach with all you have

for hours lilies, your imagination
brightens everywhere
calling us all to join
Lifting your burden somewhat

All the while
The blade and shoe
that is heavier than lead-
ever present, eclipses your attempts
to keep on trudging-

Oh Lilies,
Grow, in your splendor
Turn on spiral muscle worn thin
as you pry the sky downward
Expressing your efforts

Allowing for me, time to stand
a necessary task
If I am to continue
To expand my workfist
Wide open into the day

Grey Bird

On that cloudy weekend in June
I hear a soft and graceful tune
from the grey bird on the tree
branch
Singing sweet lullabies felt
blessed in the moment
My body tingles of joy at sight
Gazing out through
my open door,
Letting thoughts fly free
Releasing love out into the horizon
Heart filled with emotion came
over me
Grey bird stood playing its tune
for awhile and on the wings of
letting go
Then as the rain fell from the
sky the grey bird flew away
gracefully
I blew a kiss to the clouds and
utterd these simple words of I
Love You father ( who's now in
heaven ) and yet I hope to hear
that grey bird sing again once
more for me
Farewell, love your son

Nineteen Minutes to Bedtime

Jack just had a big fight with his son Zach about it. He said
I'm tired of hearing how you're too tired to do your homework. You're
not too tired to play basketball or Xbox. That was that after Zach said
Whatever.
Visiting the nursing home you think Never
will I allow myself to live long enough to end like that, that's
a fact. But promises are broken all the time, to others and the self,
and that one probably will be too unless your face is shattered
into shards of broken glass, by accident.
Then it will be quiet, too quiet.
Day by day goes by until the day you receive news of your disease,
personal, unique, irrevocable, musical and factual, withal.
That's that you think but in fact it's not. You discover (circle with a dot)
      dying's
much like living. That that's true until the body just stops barking,
      breathing.
Whatever.
Salvation in the details (sub-atomic particles). Granite
or sandstone, ash or oak, Odysseus or King Lear. Get it? Not yet.
For someone who doesn't want to be anonymous, Jack's anonymity
      runs deep.
His work sunk in a tar pit or peat. The worthwhile effort is to meditate
on that, accept and repeat.
Like a flat spun nickel, shiny sunny side up,
shadowy silvery moon down.

in the southern sun

He said
Look at here boy
Aint nothing worst than life
But you might as well live
And times are coming
For better or worse
You might as well hold on

I’m still here
And until I die
I’ll be the same man
He says
Boy I’m still here
And until I die
I’ll be the same man

I said father
I’m going to move away from the river
I’m going to be a city man
He said, sun down, it’s getting late
And you’ll have all night to chase those dreams
He said son now
Your mother calls so goodnight

I’m still here
And until I die
I’ll be the same man
He says
Boy I’m still here

He wasn’t my real father I can’t even call him that
Around a southern sun he marched in a straw hat
It’s a hundred degrees outside he must be crazy
Seventy-six and he takes on the humidity
Better than me

He says
World war II was nothing new
You should’ve seen Vietnam
He says you see boy
I’m still here
And until I die
I’ll be the same man

RIP S.G.

Upon this Christmas Day

He sleeps there in a stable
The babe born to the world
Both mother, father watch with care

Though swaddled in a cloth
He is born, yet, to be king
With but just rags for Him to wear

This special morning
The sun now shines bright
From stars there in the Heavens
To the rise of morning light
The world now is much brighter
As angels, too, now play
There’s hope and happiness to share
Upon this Christmas Day

For within the early morning
Angels brought the sky a voice
Calling forth those who wish to hear

Along then, came all others
Knowing truth within their hearts
That all now have nothing to fear

This special morning
The sun now shines bright
From stars there in the Heavens
To the rise of morning light
The world now is much brighter
As angels, too, now play
There’s hope and happiness to share
Upon this Christmas Day

Go forth and tell all others
Who had no chance to hear
The news of hope and of the joy

Let them know the Gift of God
That comes to save us all
His son sent as this little boy

This special morning
The sun now shines bright
From stars there in the Heavens
To the rise of morning light
The world now is much brighter
As angels, too, now play
There’s hope and happiness to share
Upon this Christmas Day

It is a fine day
when the shadows of trees
and beams of light
filtering through the forest
become Mozart's notes

no feet walk upon
but glide and carve
glide and carve.

Little Songbird

You are music to my ears little song bird.
Outside my window in the morning,
with the sun knocking at my door.
Every morning you wake me softly little song bird,
like tiny whispers in my ear
to stir me from my slumber.
Don't ever leave my window sill.

I need your songs
like the moon needs to ocean.
I need your songs
like a flower needs the rain.

You are music to my ears little song bird.
Outside my window in the morning,
with the sun knocking at my door.
It is you that I adore.

El Amancer del Mar

Important to note this the ACT of dawning in Spanish (know of no English equivalent)

Cape Hatteras

Joe the Moustache
   wiping the suds
& plays a black trombone while she
(Joe has taken a player piano
and nickelodean
from his lapels)
       hurling now a nylon
and suddenly
slipped out of it all;
Joe throws her a blue and giraffe skin
She blows a kiss
and lifting a thigh
   smiles and is gone

Joe into a head
blows himself
away.

The heavens declare

The heavens declare God’s glory

As the body without the spirit is dead
So too the moon is dead
It has no light of its own
Without the light of the sun
She cannot shine and give light
In the darkness

So too as the sun rises
In newness each day
So too shall the moon
Rise in newness of light
Reflecting the Glory
Of The SUN/SON

Like a whirling dancer
The heavens swirl
And sway dressed
In her skirt of stars
To the lyrical rhythm
The musical beat
Of The word of life

Could be

I wake up before the sun from a cozy bed

I walk outside and feel the crisp autumn chill

So I put a stocking cap on my head

I walk through the back yard

heading for the woods

doing something city boy

only wish they could

I arrive at my stand

and check the direction of the breeze

before I climb up ole faithful

a dying, dark barked maple tree

I make myself comfortable

as the sun stretches its arms

for the sky

producing iridescent colors

I live for the outdoor

and that's one of the reasons why

Not far behind me a freshly cut field of hay

in front endless rows of cornstalks fill the way

I begin to think of a tradition

My son and I on thanksgiving day.

he is still here with me

even though last November he passed away

I start hearing cars doors shut

its coming from over the hill

carrying an aroma of cinnamon

It's my favorite! Pumpkin pie

Justin, I'll be back, But for now Goodbye

life

As I sit I watch as I watch I listen I try and wonder what this life means the trees dance as
there branches sway with the music of the wind moves through them and whispers a tune of
undiscovered secrets
The sun shines as it sends rays of light down to touch every thing with a kiss of warmth
The sky so blue like the depths of the ocean is scattered with clouds pulling a light gray
blanket over the world but as the shadows convoy and the sun says good bye the darkness
creeps over and every thing changes the grass so green like the colour jade now turns dark
emerald the leaves whip over the ground like tears shed from the trees water falls from
above and covers every thing with a gleaming sparkle like diamonds the birds above with
the music of the wind beneath there wings giving them a life of there own as the majestic
eagle sores and dives you cant help but watch as nature takes it Corse the predator dives
again into the sea and fly’s away victories with his pray so helpless is the fish to struggle
with the eagle with the waves beating against the shore I walk in to the suns rays again they
touch my face with a kiss of warmth chasing the shadows away the grass once more jade
green the ocean reflecting the sky blue like a mirror with the sand between my toes my path
clear for the moment of pain and unknown so as I travel I once more listen and I take the
winds advice I go with the music of life down my path and disappear with the wind my spirit
souring

Lydia Loves Springtime

Her freckled face and long hair are caressed by a gold sun;
Lydia loves springtime, her adventurous spirit breathes joy,
and it seeks scented flowers awakened by the saffron dawn...
as she sings and plays a blue electric guitar praising His glory!
At noon she wears an amber hat which keeps off all sunrays,
and smiling she attracts crowds with keen interest;
" Play that song again! " It's a boy's first request...
" I will, cutie. " She answers with raw tenderness.
Lydia loves spring time, the smell of aureolin roses;
the lulling breeze dispersing dandelions on meadows
while singing the ballads she wrote on her travels,
and they appeal to those listening with starry eyes.
How lovely she looks in her cotton chartreuse dress,
how passionate she plays dreaming of being a success!
Lydia loves springtime when beautiful butterflies flutter by,
Oh, she would give anything to become one of them and fly!

A time when you could eat the sun

The trees are made of feathers and sticks
The sun is made of golden cheese
The moon was made of whipped cream
A place where the water was made out of blue Kool- Aid
The grass was made of gummy green strings
There was no houses and no place to hide
A place where a boy ate the sun
A place where the Moon swalloed up the world
A tragedy that melted and turned to liquid
No one could swim in the sea
No one could tan underneath the branches
A world where time stood still and the hours were long
A place where humans never existed

"Please Try to Go Beyond Earth Hour"
Treat earth like something you imagined when you were a kid a place where these things happened and you could be safe. Pick up your trash and clean up your yard! after all this is your world too :)!

Special Nature

There is music in the wind
it blows so softly and sweet;
humming at the top of the hills
and all the trees swing to it

There is beauty in the water
when it flows from the mountains to the valley
splashing on its path from boulder to boulder,
reflecting the sun like a flawless ruby

There is beauty in the morning;
the fog hangs in the air like incense burning
drops of dew hang from the leaves
and sparkle like diamonds set in eaves

There is music in the evening
the sounds of roosting birds fill the evening
and in the sky, just over the horizon,
a yolk-colored sun hastes to its place of dwelling

Have you ever heard

Have you ever heard
The whistle of air
Around quiet hills
As the breezes dare
Move over the fields
Turned a luscious green
By the folly play
Of the sun and rain
Battling for the gain
Of a longer stay?

Have you ever heard
The groaning of earth
Like a sole cello
Feeling the sorrow
Of its loneliness
Suddenly regressed
By the sound of feet
In the evergreens
That begin its wake
To life to partake?

Have you ever heard
The sound of water
Like light play of keys
As it finally
Breaks through the surface
Downhill it races
A river is born
That feeds fields of corn
Dancing in the sun
While birds sing their fun?

Have you ever heard
The music of fire
As it bursts laughing
Crackling sparks inside
A warm fireplace where
A family shares
Hot, grilled marshmallows
As they play Uno.
The circle of love,
Miracle of life.

Soul Deep

as the tide calmly came
and the winds sang
he played
six strings
ardently
his fingers stroked each note
touching her innermost
leaving a glow wherever it flowed
her soul's anecdote
is what he told
legato
slow
so she would know
he wanted to take his time
to find nuances of her mind
hidden in intricate designs
that twirled and twined
brightly
igniting the mind of his eye
inviting him to come inside

and she sighed

because he played like he knew her
and she felt like she was newer
and that's what drew her
so she drew him
into her
and she drew him
in purer
strokes of color
his hues
she painted the grays and blues
in rhythm, in tune
to the resonance that brewed
in his soul into
every fiber of his being
was being viewed
as though he was nude
..she saw him too

and he cried

so as one they painted and played
as though it was love that they made
heated exchange
souls engaged
singing the same refrain
giving off identical rays
warming
soothing like beautiful rain
and both became
changed
in waves

Under The Tangerine Sky

life is full of choices and chances single’s dances and double romances life moves on while stories are told time can’t be bought, it’s only sold there’s a light that dims each passing day of Sons and Daughters lost along the way Somewhere under the Tangerine Sky it's near impossible to read his face never met the man he tries to replace too high the gamble too high is the cost another year taken and another year lost life moves on while the stories turn gray of Sons and daughters lost along the way Somewhere under the Tangerine Sky He’s a ghost from the coast under the hot desert sun the mercury rises and the air is dry bye and bye Somewhere under the Tangerine sky A faded shadow standing in the wind no longer the man he had once been wandering lost and all alone, the price he pays for all the wrong More and more memories fade away of sons and daughters lost along the way Somewhere under the tangerine sky He's a ghost from the coast under the hot desert sun the mercury rises and the air is dry bye and bye Somewhere Under the Tangerine Sky
