Happiness Is

On being happy, I'm no expert.
On that you can rely.
So I really ain't that qualified
to tell you how or why!

But I'm gonna stick my neck out
and take a chance or two.
When handling things that come your way
keep an optimistic point of view.

Don't let bad times get you down
things will turn out fine.
Most problems are gonna disappear
and soon again the sun will shine!

Just accept what nature offers.
Let your "conscience be your guide".
Just step back, take a real deep breath,
put your problems all aside.

Imagine your life with a clear blue sky
your sun like a yellow balloon.
Then after night time comes around,
Imagine a beautiful moon?

There's an old expression I once heard
which needs no affirmation,
"Happiness is a journey,
not a destination"!

When The Sun Sets

When the sun sets, The stars shine with no regrets. Darkness fills the air, The moon gives light with every care. The darkness is easier to walk through, Every light shining is so pure and true. Guidence forever are the stars in the sky, With them we find our places lifted so high. Forever is the moon to cast light upon us all, We become encouraged to stand firm and tall. The stars shine with no regrets, When the sun sets.

When the sun sets, Shining its powerful light it never forgets. Though light fades to darkness, It comes about with alertness. Shadows before the eye can see, The little shining light is enough to set us free. Sometimes we are afraid to walk alone in the dark, From which we were given a caustic remark. Guidance Forever is the changing of dark and light, It helps us to be strong and make one last fight. Forever are the shadows lurking at every turning point, If we give in it is ourselves we disappoint. Shining its powerful light it never forgets, When the sun sets.

When the sun sets, The sky is filled with wonderful colors that the ocean reflects. All the animals of the sea, Come forth creating a musical harmony. The waves crash upon the shore, Washing up new sand to the ocean floor. Its a beautiful site to see, The ocean sounds are calmingly free. Who's to say the ocean isn't peaceful get away, Its a calming place to relax and stay. The sky is filled with wonderful colors that the ocean reflects, When the sun sets.

Before The Sun Sets

The sun set with a golden glow the day on which you I met
On that special walk in the beautiful park as the sun set

The sun set a glowing red as I walked with no threat
Amongst the trees of different hues as the sun set

The sun set slowly going down dropping, to it I'm indebt
To enjoying every minute of color as slowly the sun set

The sun set quietly didn't say a word but drew
Others to come in and watch closely as the sun set

The sun sets for you and me my handsome dear
Come close lets get all we can from life before fully the sun sets

BY THE SEA

PART One,,,, as she saw it.

The mountains and the meadows were always so beautiful this time of year.
It seemed as if a fresh new world always came to life. The high cliffs turned sharply downward. As I sat listening to the ocean tides smashing against the walls of the mountain below. There was a mild breeze blowing from the south. The grass in the flower covered meadows moved with the breeze. The sun shined so brightly I thought it would melt me at times.

As I stood up from the log where I was sitting by the emerald forest, the breeze pressed my dress against me. It formed to the soft round curves of my breast, down through the curves of my waist pushing against my yielding hips. As I blinked from the sun, I saw him there in the distance. I had thought I was alone. But there he was, starring straight at me. What would I do and where could I turn? I knew what kinds of thoughts men had, my mother told me all about them. I saw that he was beginning to move my way !

I saw him there as he saw me. I was paralyzed, not knowing what direction to move. Though as I watched him from afar, he did not seem dangerous as my mother always warned. Still, I could hear her words like a tape recorder in the back of my mind.

Should I dare take my eyes from his? I could see his eyes were dark, maybe brown, or even midnight blue. What ever the color, I could tell they were smoldering with restrained passions. His hair was long to his shoulder blades. I knew that because it moved with the wind. He had broad shoulders with long legs. I knew I must not let him reach me. If his arms entangled me , surely I would never get loose. And, I'm not sure I would want too. Even though I heard the words of my mother, running in my head.
I could feel the tiny beads of sweat trickling down between my breasts. I was not sure I should take my eyes from him as I leaned down to pick up the fan that had slipped from my hand to my bare feet.

PART ONE,,,, As he saw it .

The winter snow had melted and yielded to the bright warming rays of the spring sun. The bears had come out of hibernation with their new born looking for food. The mountains and the meadows were born again, new, fresh and alive with life. Everything was beautiful and as it should be. Birds singing, their mating songs blended with the crash of the surf against the steep cliffs of the mountain. Nature was at peace with itself, and I came here to share in this peace. To be alone with the earth, or so I thought.

I found a place to sit on the grass hidden among the flowers in the high meadows. So I could enjoy the gentle breeze blowing while watching the forest animals. The warm sun caressed my body and warmed me. It was a prefect day, yet something was missing. A day like this needed to be shared with someone, someone special. Stretching, I caught a slight movement out of the corner of my eye, just across the enchanted forest. Of a beautiful women. It couldn't be possible as no one knew of this place. I had come here for years and had never seen a another person before. Yet, there she was. Dressed in a dress the wind made love to, pressing it to her body. Clinging to the sensual curves of her breast, down to her firm waist and full inviting hips. I suddenly felt drawn to her and stood up. I knew she had seen me as she was starring back at me, as I stood staring back at her. She was a vision. And I was afraid she would vanish if I approached her. Yet, she seemed to be smiling, calling to me as I started walking towards her. I remember the stories my grandmother had told me of the enchantresses that lived in this forest, but I did not hesitate. I would give to her anything she wanted, anything she desired.

As I approached her I realized she was real. She seemed to be looking at me, daring me to come closer. All the stories of the enchantress my grandmother had told me flooded my mind with a warning. Yet, she was so beautiful, so inviting and I couldn't take my eyes from her. I was slowly losing control with each and every step that brought me closer to her. I knew I was lost as I felt the heat of my desire to be with her, starting to take control. It was a struggle not to run to this beautiful creature , with the golden hair, and angelic face. As I came closer I couldn't help but notice her sensual breasts rising and falling with each breath she took. She seemed to be smiling, challenging me with everything that made her a beautiful, desirable woman. A woman this sensual, this beautiful, this desirable was surely the enchantress, and I was hers. As a bee is drawn to the flower, I was being drawn to this women.

Suddenly she reached down to pick something up. It was just then I noticed she was barefoot. As she bent over to retrieve what she had dropped, the sun reflected off her spun gold hair. and radiated a golden brightness that was almost blinding. Her dress shifted allowing me to see that her body enhanced her dress, rather then the dress enhancing her body. She would look beautiful in anything she wore. The heat of my desire for her was beginning to consume me with it's fire. I felt the beginnings of ,,,,,,,,,,

Lavender Rain

Breezes WHISPER in the trees after cleansing rain;
FRAGRANCE of Wisteria WAFTS following rain

Thoughts of my love's LILTING bass voice WAFTING brings BLISS,
As FRAGRANT Wisteria comes with flowing rain

As SPLENDOR of sun peeking from behind a cloud;
The bright glow and warmth is as TRANQUILIZING rain

DULCET sun melts cares better than TRANQUILIZER___
Better even after a spring soft washing rain

ELOQUENCE of my love's romantic poems soothes the heart,
SUNFLOWER listens through LAVENDER flowing rain.

I drift into the night

I dream about a day that may never come,
I watch my life unravel, simply come undone.
My feet begin to drag as I walk across the floor,
Still I cannot wait for what the future has in store.

I go out for a walk as the sun is getting low,
The sky explodes in colors as I watch it go.
It kisses the horizon and then it goes away,
It seems to mark the end of just another day.

I stand upon a hill as the light begins to fade,
I think about the day, decisions that I made.
Light begins to falter as it all goes dark,
I feel this spark growing inside my heart.

I look into the valley as the darkness grows,
I see the sparks of fireflies they seem to glow.
I hear the birds sing they soon will retire,
I look up at the moon it appears to be on fire.

The stars up above look like diamonds in the sky,
I watch the lights on planes as they streak by.
I think of the darkness filled with all these lights,
They seem to be like beacons to guide me through the night.

I lay upon the grass and gaze upon the stars,
They sparkle so bright in a sky dark as tar.
I close my eyes and imagine I can fly,
Travel to the moon as it rises high.

The day has give way to the wonders of the night,
Everywhere I look, I catch another sight.
As time flies by, I wonder where it went,
A breeze blows, carrying a floral scent.

I climb from the hill it’s time to go to bed,
Visions of the night still dancing in my head.
Soon tomorrow shall become today.
The sun will rise and the stars will go away.

Summer Dreams

Golden goddess up above,
shine down on me rays of love.
Summer dreams, they come to me,
bright white sands on the beach.
Rays of sun that warm my skin,
waves of blue come crashing in.
Sailboats sailing in,
summer breezes, summer wind.
Sandcastles along the shore,
summer rains, they always pour.
Summer dreams they come to me,
children playing on the beach.
Rays of sun that warm the sand,
couples walking, holding hands.
Baby blue summer sky,
summer dreams of you and I.

SunshineThunder

The sun burning bright, across clear blue sky
The lightning so bright,it blinds the eye.

Not a cloud floating by,in a sky so blue;
Do you hear the thunder rumbling through?

Grass,flowers,and trees smile at the sun;
Gray ominous clouds across the earth do run.

Eagles fly higher on a clear summers'day;
The rain and the wind wash their nest away.

Birds and bees in the sunshine will forage,
Dams were made as a thunderstorms' storage.

Jet black clouds crying tears of lifes'pain.
In the east the sun rises starts over again

Graveyards are weeping as the storm subsides
New dawn brings sunshine, rays be our guides.

Rain becomes sprinkles,spots on the ground;
No more rain, grass and leaves turning brown.

Thunder and lightning,a soft summers'rain;
Blue skies, warm sunshine is all that remain.

Sun and water don't you know,Rainbow Rainbow

My Reason For Being

I saw the sun shine today,
it rises and sets on my love.
Last night I saw the moons face,
it slumbers awaiting ,
the morn.
Awaiting the light ,
to shine on the face,
of my angel.
Just as the moon chases,
the sun,
my heart beats for her love.
 I can't imagine a day,
in which the sun rises,
without her light.
She is the glue,
that holds my world together.
She is the ,
 rising of the sun ,
and the promise of tomorrow ,
which is my life........
my being.

Rising Sun

The rising sun is as a blazing fire
Casting red on the clouds of dark gray
Clouds rippled as the sands on shore
Or as a giant clam shell in its white and gray

Sailors would take warning on this nippy
Morning for the sun has risen red
The colors constantly change soon demise
Brevity of life soon gone..not like the sun

In one little spot Eagle outline seen
Swiftly he's gone like moving breeze
Life similiar never remains same
For now the color has changed..to gray

The Man in the Field

Everyday he was there.

On his knees, standing, or kneeling
Gazing into the sun and the colors

He watched the road, the hay,
the horizon, and sometimes even me.

His eyes followed my bucket and me.

I felt, not uncomfortable, but
as if a passive madness were there
in that field, watching, always watching.

Once I stopped to say, "Hello."

He ignored me, standing erect,
absorbing the sun,
and gazing at the golden hay.

He was never in the same place.

Sometimes, he was near the road.
So close, I thought I could hear his breath,
his very thoughts as I passed,
thoughts I would never repeat.

The sound of the water sloshing
in my pail and his mind in rhythm.

Yesterday, he was lying in the middle of the field,
staring upward into the sun.

Motionless and still…

Today he was gone.

His absence left the field seemingly empty.
Yet… the haystacks and the scattered straw,
the sky, the sun itself

Brighter…Alive

Tropism , natural event

Fair weather eye's
focused on the eastern horizon
occasional salty sea spray
followed by a chilly breeze .

A voyager , wandering adrift today's beyond
searching for better tomorrows
on life's ocean of emotions rolling wave's

At times , I feel like changing direction's
follow the sun to the west
go in circles to where it never set's

But then , would I be in a continous day dream
only capable of experiencing a singularity ??

Supposing the setting sun gives hope for another
opportunities abound whatever the weather

Even still , why has everything become so different
refraction apparently affecting others
their mind's " I " incapable of truth
tropism natural for most
eclipsing of the sun becoming an everyday event

What happened to the world I once knew ??

Sympathy for the Sun

     Just call it sympathy
for the sun
      As the moon rises
the sun is displaced
      by a cold orb
The day is over and
our star has done it's job
Call it sympathy
for the sun
We're moving under
a full moon
  Bravely it sends down
it's bright beams to this
    planet
But for life to prosper
   we need more light
Night will pass
    We wait for
the return
         of the golden orb
call it sympathy for the sun
     Find that the battle's won
Just call it sympathy for the sun

The Shroud

Fog has shrouded the yard and house
Yet the sun tries to shed its golden light

It is so beautiful this morning
The shroud is low but above

Is this glorious sky blue sky
With polka-dotted cottony clouds

With the light of the sun radiating outward
I can not see the trees across the road

Nor the short distance to creek
However I know that they are there

Even in my inability to see them
I feel this awe inspiring Spirit come over

I am in the presence of the Spirit
I can feel him surround me

The roosters still welcome the sun
A few birds sing in the still and damp

The crows are calling for their flock to come
Dine on the early worms and bugs

The Prairie Sunflower just radiates
Its golden yellow for me to enjoy

I am so glad that I was allowed
To have this flower in my yard

A pear just fell from the tree
Reminding me that fall is here

The coolness in the air is wonderful
Thank you for this day

Sun On Treetops

When the sun gently kisses horizon
Bouncing and bubbling with firey red cheeks
Signals morn on memory emblazon
While sunlight dances, my love soft lips seeks

Aroma of coffee wafts on morn's air
As the dove's quiet cooing, their love to seek
Sun on treetops has red kisses to share
Lover_ in morn's sunbeams snuggles will sneak

Delight the sun has brought; wind kisses sought
Great day_ animals rejoice; as sunbeams
Lighting, enlighting, delighting, free thought
Good mornings are filled with many daydreams

While old lovers touch blushing cheek to cheek
Nights are for sleeping ; dreams_lovers for morn
When embrace again_ under covers peek
As the sun kisses horizon love's born

Ants

Silly ants?
No. Silly humans and maybe silly ants.
So egotistical and naive to think we are the grand creation.
We live in a world where there is hope to sell as many people on the idea that they actually have all the answers.
If they are unable to find an answer nowadays it is assumed that well,
someone must know it.
Of course, this person must be wiser if they have the answer in mind.
Who knows how much cognitive dissonance leaks out of those who assume they could know everything if they wanted to, after all, a grand creation would hold the key.
What If someone who has not been deemed successful had the answer to their question?
They are simply not seen as wiser than the one who asks,
but merely, an uneducated soul.
They want you to give into your limits.
They want them to seep through to all who accept them in order to kill learning and thrive their tools to enslave.
We must have belief of one's self over open belief itself.
To be imaginative you must let your mind conjure all the possibilities.
Considering it all, willing to learn,
and your mind becomes an open feed to the energy of the evolution of thought.
To continuously learn you must be open to everything that may hold the possibility of truth.
How do you know that ant isn't your God, spying on you from the throne?
How can you possibly think you understand the difference between the microscopic to the non-comprehensive?
We are but an organic spec to the dominance of these barriers,
though they securely hold us to these realms.
We must soar past it and realize that we are not alone.
Next time you see someone looking down on those ants with their horrifying sense of might,
remind them, someone may be looking down on us with a sure tale of remarkable power in it's true form.
We must diminish our false sense of power and give way to sincerity to one another and allow ourselves to pick at each others brains in the hopes we learn as much as we can from this life to the next test.
I like to think that you may have started as a simple drop in the ocean and then you were set free into the eye of another.
And then a plant and then you died and so on until you found yourself here today.
Finally graduated to a human.
Perhaps it was the other way around and you have to learn what it feels like to go from the top all the way to the bottom.
Again and again until you learn what you're suppose to.
And then, you will be allowed to go home.

Morning Sunshine Song

Another day is dawning
and the Sun is rising high
he's dancing in the gentle breeze
across the morning sky!
The birds call out their greetings
as the Sun winks his hello
and I'm happy just to be here
to watch this morning grow!

I see the little flowers
as they're shaking off their dreams
my spirit swims among them all
within their rainbow streams!
The air sings with their perfume
in a fragrant melody
and I float in their sweetness like
a love struck bumble bee!

Another day has started
all its wonders I behold
the Sun is smiling down on me
he's filling me with gold!
Everything is beautiful
when Sunshine lights the skies
I know I'm blessed to see the world
through these enchanted eyes!

A Shady Tree

I know its the summer time because of how naturally
Your beauty compliments the caress of a summer breeze
As I watch the world from beneath a shady tree
I take in the delightful comfort of everything I see
But in the same breath I am holding up my hands
Lord will you please give me back the things I no longer have
They are even more a part of me now that they are gone
As the sun falls below where the horizon is still holding on
Somewhere between the falling light and a star lit night
Is a dream that last forever and will never say goodbye
As the wind gently blows through the brush and shakes the leaves
It begins to hum a melody that I want to sing
At that very moment I smile for all the joy I have
Its so uplifting for me to see melancholy dance
Soon the morning sun will rise and capture my eyes
As I watch the hand of God paint a brand new sky
With every stroke of color I swallow all my pride
And I find a new place to dream of endless times
If I should ever get to the place I left my broken heart
Only then will I believe this brand new day will start
Again Im reminded of why my heart beats so restlessly
Only the speed of thought and my soul beneath this tree

Arm Chair Traveler

Is it any wonder
that words plucked out of the air
cannot describe these common things?
Too often, heedless, what eyes
acknowledge as ordinary, is ours
to behold with brighter vision, a privilege to savor

The scenery surrounds every curve. Let us savor
each contrast, views that stab our wonder
grabbing our fervor. An open road, and the world is ours!
This is a time of admiration, a breath of new air
that is stirred by beauty seen with new eyes.
Mountains, valleys, rivers, streams, wondrous things!

We who split devotion into two things
He who loves the highlands, or he whose passion may be a seaside savored.
Let our wheels and hearts take us far, where eyes
would spy a snow capped peak, where climbing trails would make one wonder
how the view must be from elevation, or how thin the air
How looking down upon the vast, an earth that's ours

Perhaps we'll see a mighty purple rise, while having our
first glimpse of the western sky. While packing our things
let us not haste to travel on..let us linger, hold the vision, that takes air
from lungs, delay departure. Savor
a picnic from the road, to dawdle, chat and wonder
where the next stop should find us, and what will feast our eyes

Where days are bright and the sun and breeze sting our eyes
Choosing to take the back road highways, our
wheels flying like wings over hills and valleys, and wonder
of all wonders....discovery delight in the smallest things,...
a seagull soaring above, a blue blue sky at his back, a sun to savor
Finding thrill from the damp foggy morning, or the sunshine and salty air

Perhaps a seaside village, so quaint and sweet, having an air
of vintage life. Or skycrapers meeting the modern day sky, which rise in amazement
before eyes
The choices are unlimited, so much to savor
The choice to dream can be ours
There are no proper words to describe these things...
Is it any wonder?

A chance to breathe the air from a high mountain peak is ours
A chance for eyes to feast on a wave or breeze of seaside things...
Close eyes, imagine them all, and be impelled to savor a world of wonder

We Welcome the Sun

We welcome the sun
We welcome the sun

A gleaming sunrise is seen in the distance – shedding relief
Bursting forth like fireworks in the dark blue sky
Hues of beauty and sincerity washes away our grief
The cheery clouds come together like lovers embracing one another

I’m never waving goodbye

It’s so surreal… and magnificent to see this scene unfold
You lift up the sparkling light… you’re an angel from up above
It’s so vibrant – the illuminated sight never dulled
You bring us luck and excitement –

You’re as pleasant as a dove

We welcome the sun
We welcome the love
We welcome the sun
We welcome the sun
To omit the darkness
To abolish the distress
To conceal the darkness
And reveal the halo
Hovering around your head
Burning away the dread
We welcome the sun
We welcome the sun
We welcome the sun

An ocean of love is rubbing against my feet
Blankets of comfort embrace me now… our love will never dry
You treat us with reverence and I repeat –
You’re as pleasant as a dove – taking wing from on high
We welcome the sun in the morning
We welcome the sun with open arms
We welcome the sun
We welcome the sun
We welcome the sun
We welcome the sun

A speedy breeze is whistling in my ears
Spiraling mad like a spinning top
Spiraling mad with all of its might
You’re very intriguing – you casted away our fears
Your gorgeous eyes
Project bright green and blue
You’re special in His sight
He welcomes you
We welcome the hope
We welcome the sun
We welcome the sun
We welcome the sun
To lighten up your load
And lead you to the mercy road
Where you and I will escape to paradise
To drive out all of the negativity
To conceal the wretched farewells
To reveal the light in goodbye

We welcome the sun
We welcome the sun
We welcome you
With open arms

The Pale Pink Rose At Dawn

As I desire outside just at daybreak
Watch the sleepy sun rise in the mist
So I'll go out, get tools_leaves rake
An excuse to watch that sun rise_my risk

Then I see that one Pale Pink Running Rose
The one deserving its picture taken
I'll get the camera_rose will pose
Leaving chore__leaf raking forsaken

Maybe I'll cachinnate_hide from work
I'll beek in sun think of shenanigan
Go to creek_try to see fish through murk
Couchant posture dip fingers _ dawn began

The anacoluthia of these lines
Requires couchant posture very fine

Dance Across the Sky

                                                      I
                                                    will
                                                  dance
                                               as the sun
                                          dances cross the

flapping in the wind I live
I say goodbye to the earth free
                               floating, breaking from my string,

I Want A Farmer Boy

Many little girls dream about a prince coming to their tower to save them from trouble,
Called their mother,
Or a knight in shining armor to take away their bother,
Called their father,
But not I
I dream about a farmer boy,
One who bales hay from sun up to sun down,
Feeds the pigs, even with a frown

I don’t want a prince with gold,
A knight with armor,
I want a farmer boy

I want a man who will treat me right,
Not one who thinks he knows more than I,
I do not want a prince who will buy me what I want and them leave me be,
I do not want a knight, who will always leave me,
I want a man who will hold me tight and tell me he loves me
Before he says goodnight

I don’t want a prince with gold,
A knight with armor,
I want a farmer boy

I don’t want a man who will rule over me,
Or one who will always leave me be,
I want a man who will treat me right and hold me tight,
A man who will hold me as his equal,

I don’t want a prince with gold,
A knight with armor,
I want a farmer boy

A man who says I love you
Every chance he gets

Many little girls dream about a prince coming to take them away from trouble,
Called their mother,
Or a knight coming to take away their bother,
Called their father
I want a farmer boy.

Winter sonnet

The trees stretch silver branches
In the late December sun ,
The robin perched there watches
As we offer him our crumbs.
The elegance of shapes laid bare
Forgives the winter cold.
And side cast sun rays clearly
Touch the embers of my soul.
Too soon the quarter moon will rise
To send the sun away.
So let us all wipe clean our eyes
To see what Winter says.
For all the while the world rotates,
Regardless of our fate.

Beautify

                       Scarlet sun spread your
                       Beauty upon the world, as
You emerge from beneath the mere, cobalt
Springs amongst the meadows…

                        Scarlet sun spread your
                        Beauty upon the world, as
Your reflection glimmers amid
Waltzing oceans of euphoria…

                        Scarlet sun spread your
                        Beauty upon the world, as
You penetrate feathery clouds
Of white, ascending…

                        Scarlet sun spread your
                        Beauty upon the world, as
Your radiation of shimmering light
Evaporates crystals of water droplets,
Sliding on blooming petals…

                        Scarlet sun spread your
                        Beauty upon the world, as
You embellish the sky with
Your flickering smiles…

                        Scarlet sun spread your
                        Beauty upon the world, as
You disappear along with
The shining sky, into a sacred world
You beautify…

Trip Twist

In the void, sipping the zoid,
with mental properties of tripping on the spiral.
Falling down the tail of lions, awkwardly spinning.
With upside down tunnel vision leaking through.

Solidifying all matter that matters,
melting into the walls of your brain.
It tickles all the raindrops dripping in your eyes,
satisfying your desire of a synchronized pattern.

Bleeding purple from the rainbow,
and turning into swirls of diamonds.
Slipping exuberantly beside you; driving you wild.
Where the shadows stop the spirited scream.

Devour yourself into the omniscient grip.
Icy cold finger tips scratch the surface of your divinity,
bringing you closer to the God who whispered in your unborn ear,
situated in your flesh from birth to death.

It embeds itself in the pupil of your eye,
dancing with your spirit and licking your soul.
Black shapes of madness wrapped in chaos and euphoria.
Twinkling and blinking dust of a cloud.

Haze filled skies and blood filled smoke raining from the clouds.
Envisions of clowns and demons laughing at our demise.
Chilling sensations of sickening mannerisms,
mechanisms and mechanics sought out to destroy the tiny creatures.

These creatures running crazy into acceptance of demise.
Deprived of life, scared of death but giving into it's taste.
Taste buds quiver as the taste grows sweeter.
Death, oh death, tell everyone who you really are...

Too long have you been hidden in the shadows you cast,
too long have we rendered your pain.
The world grows sicker as the hairs in my head grey.
I'll never surrender as demons always circle.

Today, begins a new day of our fight.
And I have a good feeling about this day.
Onward, we have united our minds and gathered ourselves within.
Always ready for we accept our fear.

We accept our hate and everything in between.
Accept it all for what it really is.
No amount of doubts will over throw us.
Onward, to peace.

Be Free Within

When improving upon the inner workings of your mind
and upon the realms within your body,
be sure not to lose your originality in the process
for it will become harder and harder to express yourself
and that in which you've improved upon.

Pride is a trap.
Simply be grateful for your attributes that make you amazing.
People make mistakes, people love and people hate.
Be free within; and the world will follow.

And as you find your flowers and swords crossed with others who do not see the beauty and infinite possibilities in you,
keep driving your soul to the beat of your sincerity.
Find your way out of the dark.
Don't ignore it, shed some focus on it, for it tells you all the ways you don't want the world to be.
There is something to be learned from everyone.
Express and listen with willingness to speak your mind to the death.
Beauty undefined until you crawl through all the cob webs with certainty.

Out of the dark; into bliss.

Peace and love bring us unity. Don't be afraid to hug my soul.

Sleep In Her Soul

It's easy to become lost in the idea that only things in life change you;
rather than you are always changing in your creation.
When you look at demons in the haze, marvel at the haze.
Demons are feeling homesick.

Be true to everything you are and thrive on.
We all have demons, it's up to you on what to do with those demons.
The most dangerous are the ones unknown.
She is herself. A beautiful demon; not hidden behind a shadow.

Her magic is infested in my desire.
She is beautiful for I can unravel her thoughts.
She expresses to me the words intertwined with my ambiguity.
Riddled with love; I sleep in her soul.

She is my butterfly in our cosmic cannibalism.

Grow

See the sun going down
golden glory sighing lone
time for his existence to be known
for when he leaves the others cry:

O light that shines, don't show then hide
for we are hungry to survive
your golden fingers; Midas touch
leave not solid, but warm and lush
how could our aloe leaves than sooth
If you just come to surely move

Yet the sun keeps slowing thrown
and peers to those who blow their moan
just smiles with eyes of lion sight
and blast his rays with all his might;
his last goodbye before he goes
and whispers to those what they should know:

In the night there's much to fear
of odd creatures and noises queer
but the moon will glow her stories
and luminate her lullabies
so bud your heads and clover in sleep

For in the night you grow
and have the day to sweep

Wassamassaw Bay

Bob and Hannah went to fish in Wassamassaw Bay.
They told their mom they would return for church so they could pray.
But both of them lost track of time, returning way past noon.
The sun was down and it was dark and there was a full moon.

“What do you have to say to me, for it is very late.
The moon is up, the sun is down, your meals are on your plates.
You haven’t done your chores and now it’s almost time for bed.
The dog is barking angrily for he wants to be fed.”

“We are so very sorry but we did lose track of time.
There was commotion on the Bay although there was no crime.
And when we tried to leave for home the officer said, ‘No.’
He said we’d have to stay a while and that we could not go.”

“He said he had some questions so we would have to stay.
We told him that we had to go to church so we could pray.
The officer said we could go after we told the tale.
Of how in Wassamassaw Bay, we caught a big white whale!”

Starlight

Many days are long forgotten,
like ripples in a stream;
they move slowly outwards
but then disappear almost
instantly leaving no trace.
Each day ends the same; the sun rises
and sets, like a sudden light being
switched off.
The sun has gone somewhere else,
gracefully shining its rays of light that
awakes all life, but in other parts
darkness has fallen.
Still light persists even in this
land of darkness, it covers the
dark veil in bright spots, creating
a polka-dot pattern; the stars and
moon have come out.
They bathe the land in dim light
creating a gentle sense of being
held in motherly arms; loneliness
cannot take hold of any soul that
breathes.
Many peer at the sky
but wonder is always spoilt by
logic and reality; nonsense is thus
trapped within, along with
childhood imagination.
Starlight, one of the wonders
of creation that beholds many
secrets that remain tightly
grasped by the hands of nature.

The Defiant Tree

Oh, natures tree, how are you blooming, When Winter is arriving so coldly? With colors so vibrant, how do you reflect the dimming light, so boldly? Were you confused by the sun that rises too early, or conflicted by the manipulation Of season? Or defiant, to natures authority, and just decided to create Your own reason? Buds blooming, with a brilliant color. . Branches Reaching to skies with absent sun rays; Surrounded by browning and wilting Life; Yet your brilliance, Your beauty, and Loveliness stays? Oh, Valiant tree, why bloom now? When all that's Left here is the rain? Darkly tinted shades Of grey, Dying life Laid at your roots. . And yet, you're blooming All the same. Your golden hints of Sunshine Though clouds fill The sky . . Your branches' room For lovely birds, And yet, they all have Passed you by? And still you bloom, Defiantly. Growing with nothing But self desire, Detesting before, As natures core, But my soul Will forever admire

Listen

It's time to let it go
life passed by a long
time ago. It went by
so slow.

I want to stay, you're not
listening to a word I say.
HEY! HEY! it's Sunday.
It's this way at noon
again. I need this and I
need that; the smallest
voice screams at me:

It's enough! Look at you,
with your toys and baubles.
Where are you going with
that? Oh; now it's a hat
with bells ringing: cling,
clang, clat.

The cars are rolling. I need
change. Taking corners,
following jumping waves,
bye, bye. Sitting, smelling,
what's a nose for?

I can tell you know anyway; it's
time to leave before moontime
comes. I pray for hours before
the sun using sculptered sand;
the sun stays away rolling tides
of cars spanning the bridge till
I go astray.

Asphyxiation

As the golden rays of sunlight creep into my bedroom window,
I hold my tears back, yearning for just a few more hours to hold you.
Time has grown to be my nemesis, my curse,
For I realize that when the sun ascends into the heavens, I descend into the pits of hell.
As I give in to your embrace and caress your tender caramel skin,
I dream of time coming to a standstill, where eternity is our safe haven.
For now though I must press my lips against yours and say my farewells,
Slowly walking away, gazing back as you depart, I begin to call out to you.
Don’t abandon me, let us travel the world, and discover things
We never dreamed of, and grow old together.
However you can’t hear me say these absurd things, and I begin to asphyxiate,
I lust for the sensation of your touch, and I yearn for the echo of your voice.
Patience, I tell myself, in due time we will be as we should,
And when that time comes we shall watch the sun rise every morning and I will breathe
effortlessly.

THE BRIDGE OF THE MORNING STAR

To rest awhile

In my Moondust’s arms

In a meadow of flowers

A shady tree

Watching her smile

I wove star flowers

In to her hair

She wove me into her heart

Never such love, so rare

Could be

In a meadow of flowers

We talked and sang

Until the sun set low

Fires lit, in reds and golds

Of loves’ glow

We slept

In blue wool

and silver stars

Amongst its’ folds

The first bird called to me

I looked up

Saw the first morning star

Shining steadily

Across the meadow

Above the trees

The early light

Caught the flash

Of the birds’ wing in flight

I woke my Moondust

Across the meadow

Is the way

The bird showed me

In its’ flight

Guiding us today

We walked through

The flowers of the meadow

Moondusts’ horse followed behind

In that early sunglow

The rush of water could be heard from afar

The meadow ended too soon

The stream could be soon

Upon it…..

The Bridge of the Morning Star

Of ancient oak tree

Carved with magical hands

Its’ trusses carved with birds

On each rail, silver stars were inlaid

A beautiful canopy of redwood

Completed this crossing

Carved on it, ancient words

“The Morning Star”

The bridge

of The Morning Star

As soon as the sun rose

Like The Morning Star

The bridge faded too

In the coming of daylight

IN FRONT OF THE CHURCH GATE

I had a dream last night
fogged by an uneven frost of the morning
guessing if the sun rose.

It dawned on me
it was night still
with forehead engulfed by the fallen hair.

I figured her out
against wealthy gold streaks of sky
while flowers kept merrying in the garden.
Sitting cross-legged in the pavement
She awaited a long cherished arrival;
the pavement turning
          BLACK , white
          Black , WHITE
          Wh…

Time danced on the cross roads
with a series of its resonant restrained movements.
Its hand drew out for me
and I trying to grab them
  found the sun shining
  illuminating everything
except shadow of my own construction.
The very next moment
  ate up its hands
and shadow intermingled with the silent darkness.

Vehicles tossed up the roads
flooding the pavement with light
Yet,
Alterations marked the vivacity of vagueness
  to fathom the unfathomable
and fragmented mirth wetted me from within.
Perhaps,
WHITE would make my shadow flee, I thought.

Sitting there,
she snatched stars from the moonless sky
and buried in the boisterous soil.
I climed up the hill
  and fell from the precipice
  and she followed
like unshed tears of void eyes.

I kept stringing up my instrument
as I had only songs to offer
  that of my own disintegration
And she stood
in front of the church-gate
in deathly austerity.

The deity rose in protest,
Melodies evolved from the ocean-cradle
-filling the air with its uncommon pitch
and my songs kept straying in the corner
  looking for fortification.

I dreamt then-
     trees stretching themselves upright
     trying to peep into heaven:
     Deep fragrance of incences rising
     where I stood
     draped in WHITE
     praying with vague distrust.
  ……..
        ‘AMEN’
                ……..

I rose from the bed rubbing my eyes
  and at the breakfast table
  I sat dismayed
  as I remembered all.

A Letter from Indonesia

Dear Home:

Please forgive my departure, silent and without warning, like the simmering
warmth of mountain springs that bubble, unexpected, in the pale tropic light of
morning. I am now straddling the equator, my toes naked against the earth,
tasting the sweetness of Indonesian soil, volcanic, fertile, undisturbed, and to my
soul delivering rebirth.

The air before dawn tastes of sweet-vanilla and dry nuts, at noon of ripe fruit with
caramelized sugar, and at dusk an exotic thickness of fresh leaves, moonlit
seas, and a richness of rare orchids all kiss in a soothing breeze.

By day I explore sculpted canyons and wet rice fields, secret Hindu temples, the
Mahayana Buddhist Borobudur, deserted for centuries; I discover a myriad of
mysteries the Island Mountains conceal.

At night Gamelan music is a spice that saturates the mind and your body exalts
the rhythm of double- headed lace drums, beating, beating, beating, beating
dramatic time. Gongs and bamboo flutes resonate, echo in the heart, the
passion of a culture preserving colour, tradition, sung poetry, and ancestral art.

My diet has been that of rice, fish, and lots of fresh fruit: berries, sprouts, sharp
tasting roots, similar to that of the Sun Sumatran Bear, stout, with sleek black fur,
resting in the trees eating the young tips of palm which he peels with care.

The sun is a golden disk that sits atop the Java mountains, painting light brown
skin, pearls of perspiration, with dirt and pollen burning in and out of yellow rays,
bringing dry heat to the excitement in the streets, where people infuse Life into
Life in extraordinary ways.

Finally in sleep, memories, spirits, emotion are lifted to the moon, cleansing the
temple of my soul with a delicate touch of porcelain white, beams like a melody
transforming the night, a surreal dream tangible to my skin, Indonesia swirls
around me – my desire strong to feel the strength of its pulse from within.

Into The Deep

-Into the deep-

Swimming across the ocean vast
My eyes, close at last
Not enough time to stop
A swim, above the ocean's top
Loveless into the deep
Straight
One breath at a time
The sun follows all my effort
A sun kiss on my face
Sands, no sign of land
A wink, the color sun-blind
Salt water, around the heart
I seal the mind
Lost in the waters of death
I found myself tranquilized
Further and Further
From any ocean shore
Stolen moments
Sparkling diamonds
Voicing the seagulls
Visions of quest
Ship horn
The mission is gone
I hit the snooze on my alarm!
In a dream, of wet
Never getting far enough

Africa III

Heart pounding
Nervous feeling
Overwhelming
Deep breath to shake it
Cold chill slivers down fast

Beating against cage of heart
Cage of body
Cage of soul
Legs begging to run
Heart aching to be free
Truth to self
aching to be seen

Sweet scent of dry savannah plains
Sharp smell of thorny veins
The aroma of Africa surrounds
Scents sights sounds
In these home is found

Frustration mounts
Captured leopard
Bound

Snarling at every motion made
Scared but defiant
Blinded by fear and rage

Paws long for endless journeys
On paths walked centuries ago
For elegance in element
A space all her own
Where earth still bleeds red on horizon
Morning and night
Continuing the endless fight

Fight for borderless freedom
Everlasting sight
The pale yellow green eyes
Dismays the truth inside
But tell the story
Of wild soul
Story to unfold

girl in my dreams

By: Sashi. Prabhu (Zeauoxis)

Behold! My eyes see you in my dreams tonight,
Graceful, sensuous, ecstatic, like an angel with a halo bright.

A damsel so enchanting, I have yet, my eyes to believe,
My lovely ‘DREAM GIRL’ my passions you bluntly sieve

Your mortal beauty so captivating for me
The sun rays caressing your body, so captivating for me to see

My eyes behold your sight now……
A dream every artist, on the canvas yearns to bring somehow…..

Strangely, I recon the sun on its own
On seeing you in its path has halted and begun to swoon

You haven’t even spared the sun.
And his heart too, have seized, oh! What have you done?

Into the darkness my thoughts find their way...
I can then scribble endlessly like letters
                                                           in a parade...
I struggle to finish before the sun finds my sky...
And as the light pours down, my thoughts can't hide...

Cold

May 22

I was sitting in my backyard tonight
watching the sun set.
The moon was out and there was one star,
one bright star sitting above the western horizon.

As the sun began to set
it got colder,
but it was a good kind of cold.

Not the kind of coldness
 that reaches into my bones
and leaves me shivering.
It just settles on my skin
and slowly burns away.

A Hellish Daydream

Facing up I see a ripple in the sky
Much like in the ocean caused by boats
The brightness of the sky burns my cornea
A white streak is stretched across linking clouds
the sun peeks through slowly from a cloud
as the wind picks up blowing sand in my eyes
I gently rub my eyes and remove the grains
And as they open I see pillars of stone
Volcanic eruptions of molten lava
Giant skeletal birds soaring high
In the pitch black sky, starless, sunless, moonless
Geysers of fire blasts shaking the ground
Beneath my feet, the ground of dirty red clay
Screaming and screeching from the tortures
Of indentured and lost souls of the dead
A steamy dry wind blows dirt in my eyes
I wipe the dirt from my eyes, the screeching seizes
I open my eyes and the plane is still soaring above
The bright blue sky no longer burns my cornea
The sun hides behind a white cloud
How I wish for it to show itself again

I wonder why

Silent as a windows pane that upon
I perch my head.
As the rain pounds against the
Transparent wall, I cannot find
Any rest or peace. I wonder why
Oh dear Lord it continuously rains
Over me.
The sun always shines on some one
Else door step, Self-Woe only
Barricades my only exit/
I sit in my corner chained back
Wondering why no one will free
Me of this great big lie.
There’s a invisible thread that
Awaits me every morning I take
My first step. Like a wild animal
I fight what I cannot see yet its there
Keeping me from being free.
I wonder if I really tried to do better
This time in less you agree I am just
A loser someone who is just making it
Through life under others expense.
I took a chance went outside saw that
The rain wasn’t there, the sun in
Shining finally over my effort to be
Strong at no one else expense.

The Countryside

Born beneath the misty hills
In a world that silently heals
Where lush greenery blooms in abundance
Adorning the apple trees with magical essence.

As the rising sun lights up the eastern sky,
Children run towards the apple trees with dreamy eyes.
Their rosy cheeks resemble ripe apples
And they run around the countryside sprinkling seeds of love.

The golden rays of the sun settle upon the tranquil hills
And illuminate the hearts of a flock of sheep.
As they bathe in the holy sunlight
Purity rises up from their hearts and mingles with mist like a playful dove.

As the evening sets in and the western sky turns orange,
Peacocks start dancing to the tune of dew
And innocent squirrels hug the moist bluebells and daffodils gracefully
Glorifying the colourful countryside with sheer genuineness.

When the night grows in a sincere way,
The moons and stars gather above the countryside.
Endowed by their enchanting light,
Angels come down to the countryside sailing on blissful winds.

Angels visit a celebrating waterfall
Which murmurs its own heartfelt rhythm.
They open the doors of their soul
And transform the heartfelt rhythm into lullaby.

Angels fly around and sing the lullaby in their divine voices,
Blessing the countryside to a peaceful sleep.
The angels knit the countryside with an aura of tenderness
And pay homage to her worth.

she spills the stars

she spills the stars in the sky in her sleep
the girl with wet naked dreams in her head
as the ground shakes, she starts to weep
she knows if she falls, she'll likely be dead
on a tight rope of silk, she walks through the sky
she never looks back or loses her way
the tears turn to stars and fall from her eye
walking until the sun hits her face
the sun burns the silk, she must be gone
through the darkness she falls ever so deep
she wakes up to peace and grins with a yawn
remembering the stars in the sky from her sleep

Confessions of a Poetry Souper

I lounged on a deck chair at the beach
praising the sun to the skies
for being munificent with its rays.
The sun comes down from the azure sky
shining like it’s beaten the clouds black and blue.
The sky was covered with specks of
bulbous mass of clouds.
The sea flows in kaleidoscopic pattern
looking like a lustrous jewel beetle
encircling the earth, like a shade tree
in reminiscent of cobalt blue, beryl and ultramarine.

Down towards the coast were flock of crystal seagulls
with attractive and distinctive gray and white plumage.
Some standing cockily on beach stones; others flirting proudly
scavenging opportunistically for stray crabs and sand lances.
With gusty chests and beak full of devoured small fishes
they coast ashore on wings like those of pterodactyls
and slither like the America’s drones in Afghanistan.

Alas! A poltergeist damselfly popped up
Its pop up eyes like children’s cartoon in CBeebies channel
It gave me an awful look; took a few steps; and flew away
Ouch! Then I felt pains on my right cheek
That was when I realized I had been bitten by a fire ant
Oops! I was awake; have I been sleeping?
I must confess; I’ve been wallowing in frantic sub-consciousness.

Land Of Fairies

Sitting above the world with the sun in her hand
Wondering blissfully among the heavens
Her transparent dainty wings look elegantly grand
She’s in deepest thought of the most beautiful view

The only fairy left in existence
She wishes for her beloved to return
A warming light glows in the distance
As she watches the clouds dance in the blue

She’s dreaming of someone so special
Someone who she can flit among the stars with
She holds the sun as if it we’re a candle
Lighting her way to start life anew.

Happy Dance Ramblings

Awww… These are Happy Dance Ramblings… When you get someone to listen… You just have to go for it… Bet you didn’t know that I’m like super doper man... Put me behind a computer and I take off… Put my glasses on and I’m just plain old Clark Kent… Didn’t know I had it in me… But enjoy my time in the clouds… I don’t have happy genes… I have Super doper man genes… LOL

Change is in the air! I awoke and haven’t stopped running since… It’s kinda like jumping from stone to stone in a creek… Fun but occasionally slippery, but a good swim never hurt anyone... Last one in is a poopy pants…The Trolls want to come, too, so be careful… They’re a klutzy and might get in the way… or splash all the water out…LOL… Better hurry before they get here… Yee Haww!

Someone said ladies swoon… I don’t swoon… I just sigh… If some guy lies I just sic the Trolls on them… or the Dragon… If he’ll listen… Probably not… Quit pooping on my roses Silly Dragon! There go the Trolls! … Doesn’t anybody listen… Sigh!… See! They did it again… Those guys made me sigh!… LOL

When it storms I have 3 big dogs and 2 cats trying to climb into my bed… We all just snuggle in… Oh NO!… Not the Dragon, too! Owww! Silly Dragon just pushed me out of bed!… Dumb Dragon!

After the rain the sun brings everyone out with gleams in their eyes… Even the Dragon. But I don’t trust him... I know that gleam means he’s up to something… One of these days I’m going to get me that Dragon… EEEWWW! He just snorted all over me! Grandpa Troll! The Dragon just snorted ALL over me! This is snot right! Oh No! Now the dragons grinning… Don’t ask questions. Just Run…Hurry Up!… He’s gaining! Grab the pitch forks! He’s heading for my roses! AGAIN! Darned old poopy dragon!

I bet that darned Dragon would listen to you.! You want him? He knows how to fertilize roses REAL well! Well, that is... if you don’t give him a lot of attention! He likes LOTS of attention! I can spare him for a while. Might help my roses see some sun again… I think they’re getting a MIGRAINE! Really!

AWW! Grandpa Troll has me sitting beside the lake with the Dragon on the other side. He said we need to make nice, nice, and to soak up all that sunshine… The dragons making it worse! At least I can take off my fireproof suit. His flames don't reach across the lake… NaNa NA NaNA You mean, old Dragon! Serves you right… Hope it gives him heart burn! Get it?… Fire, Burn! LOL… Grandpa Troll says we sound like two little kids fighting. HA! We’re BIG kids!…

The Heart, The Soul

Carried forth between two trees
It seems the wind has got the best of me
Pushing me off of my two feet
I crumble down into the soil

The sun licks at me
And I gaze tiredly towards the sky
Alone between two trees
The gap where the sun lies

The sun lies
Your soul dies

Lost it seems, but the direction is clear
I suppose the only thing holding me back is fear
I try to pull myself back up
But the soil sticks to me like glue

It beats upon me, abusing my mind
My black clothes swelter, I wasn't ready for this
The two trees grin upon my woe
The dread stays and your soul goes

The sun grins
Your heart thins

I wish I can reach between those trees
To stand upon the air - to see what God sees
As my woe deepens in the soil
Would I not look down upon myself...

Only to see me spoil

I suppose you can stay where you are
After all you are too far
To find me and heal
I've fallen between two trees and the sun cannot feel

But tear the heart
And scorch the soul

I was carried here
Could I be carried once more?
Would anyone out there find me?
I suppose the one that's far

Can heal the scorching scar
If one could mend a scorching...torn-up soul

If one could bear this heart to hold

Why Am awake every Night

As my soul stirs to retire to its abode
I sight the sun dawdling into the dark
Paving the way for the moon to emerge
The night’s darkness beckons
The sun faded like a shriveled flower
The moon gleaming like the lively roses
The stars flickering to the fullest
My eyes try to obey the sleep calling
But another sleepless night!

As I try to conquer force
To submerge the insomnia
The more visible the sight of the darkness becomes
And my yearnings for slumber become vanity.

Here I lay awake; eyes wide open
Daring one of the darkest nights
My mind flooded with thoughts
Emotions buzzing round my spines.

I stared through the brightly colored star
From my ‘ajared’ window
All I see are figures
The message keeps buzzing in my brain
No matter how I tried to elude it.

The smell of your skin
The curve of your figure
Your breath that I absorb
Through the rear of your curly hair

The physique of two naked bodies
Skin to skin
Thigh to thigh
Bone to bone
The gentle pressure from the soft touch
Of your soft nipples

The thought of the words you whispered
The tone of your voice
When the softness of my inner hands
Dawdling from corner to corner
Of your convex and tube-like cascading breast

The amorous pleasure from your arms
Massaging the supple and tubular darkness
Of my aroused lower body

Keep buzzing in my brain
As I tried to keep on awake
To adore the splendor of the night
For long hours spent on nothing
But what we shared.

A place to make my mark

I look at my life and the journey I’m upon,
As the sun hits the horizon it marks the dawn.
My life is like a chess game and I the pawn,
As I take my next move the pathway is gone.

Gray skies are simply some clouds passing over.
Perhaps my luck is changing I find a four leaf clover.
I wait for the return of the sun, it raises my hope.
My future is before me like a carrot dangling from a rope.

Sometimes the descent is far worse than the fall,
Maybe I should run and pick up the ball,
In the concept of time I remain rather small,
I gather up some speed but then hit the wall.

I look to my heart surely it knows where to go.
What was previously new, the cracks begin to show.
I had hoped by now that I would just know,
You must plant a seed for something to grow.

I look all around and take in all I see.
All of these things become part of me.
I see some leaves fall and know what shall be
Haunting shadows, cast by the lifeless trees.

For now the colors take my breath away.
The air is so crisp on this autumn day.
The animal scurry to find food for the winter
The fabric of life becomes a tree that has splintered.

Although the fabric is tattered and looks worn,
I wonder to myself why was I born?
Is there something I’m missing or is it in front of me,
The closer things are the harder it is to see.

I wander down the street and take a seat in the park.
The sun starts to set, soon it will be dark.
Life seems to glow or perhaps it’s a spark
As I look for a place to make my mark…

Nighttime Wonders

There is a place,
a magical wonderland
that sits at the end of your mind,
and everybody dead and living
goes there when they are tired.
It is a place that is special
and is diffrent to stand to your approval.
It is a nighttime wonder
only open from eleven to five
and you can only come,
if you truely believe.

It is a place
where the streets are paved gold,
peace runs through every corner and avenue,
no jails, no hospitals
because there is no crime and no sickness.
The skies are always blue,
and the clouds are all white,
the sun is blazing hot
and the woman all give you a wink of an eye
and all blow you kisses,
where the men want to be you,
and where the women want to sleep with you.
It is a nighttime wonder,
a special place,
in the back of your mind.
It is real, not imaginary,
nothing is fake about this place,
this is where dreams come true,
where there are no cancers, headaches, toothaches,
no wars, no enemies, no hangovers,
no schools, no politicians, no lawyers, no greed,
no sin, no temptation, no demons or devils;
everything is beautiful, and everything grand.

A piece of Heaven on Earth.
Everyone is happy,
all with a smile on their face,
not a frown in sight.
Songs are sung with the most beautiful of voices
and the sweetest of songs sung.
This place is a nighttime wonder.

When you tuck yourself under the sheets,
grab your pillow, or girlfriend, or boyfriend
husband or wife, or even your favorite stuffed friend,
we all go to this special nighttime wonderland.
A place of joy, a place of happiness,
a place where you go to forget
and enjoy,
a mini vacation.
Till that alarm clock's annyoing buzz comes on
and pulls you out of that nighttime wonder
and places you back into reality.

Another day

Another day, the sun rises
Life lived in bland monotony
I find at best I am complacent
existing on the borderline of contentment

It's rarely found to be of favor
but everyday you'll find me here
Waiting patiently for another chance
to leave my mark on so dull a world

Maybe today will be the day
that this bleak existence I suffer
Finally gives way to a new spark
and I find excitement has been born

I wish only to have a moment
A brief passing of time
Let me live my fifteen minutes
dancing quietly in the spotlight

Another day, the sun sets
I look out my window
With a sigh I find my bed
Another day passed,
Another day wasted.

I wonder what it would be like

I wonder what it would be like to be a shooting star
Would I persist or burn up before getting too far.
Just a streak across the sky and then be done
Or maybe I could provide a wish for everyone.

I wonder what it would be like to be the sun
Not to rain and snow on everyone.
Would my energy just shine providing light
Could I help a poor soul escape from the night.

I wonder what it would be like to be the moon
If late at night I worried the sun would come soon.
I could see myself a million miles away
But no one would hear the words that I say.

I wonder what it would be like to be the sky
I would just be awesome no one larger than I.
Would I remain humble or would it go to my head
Although I am blue I can turn the sun red.

I wonder but realize I am just me
Kind of a collection of these things that I see
I don’t know the future or what shall be
I just know that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

Eyes of the Forlorn

The Sun dawns and the Day is born
Its light shed on the souls forlorn

The clouds part and thunder desists
As they march on, lost in the mists

Step by step to the end of time
In perfect rhythm; perfect line

The sun sets and darkness becomes them –
A dead calm smothers the bedlam

Torments of night encompass all
With burning mem’ries of the Fall

A rain of stars breaks through the skies
Reflected in their frigid eyes –

Trembling fingers, shimmering tears
Quiet whispers and haunting fears

The sun dawns and a day is born
Gazed upon by hollow eyes Forlorn

Special Nature

There is music in the wind
it blows so softly and sweet;
humming at the top of the hills
and all the trees swing to it

There is beauty in the water
when it flows from the mountains to the valley
splashing on its path from boulder to boulder,
reflecting the sun like a flawless ruby

There is beauty in the morning;
the fog hangs in the air like incense burning
drops of dew hang from the leaves
and sparkle like diamonds set in eaves

There is music in the evening
the sounds of roosting birds fill the evening
and in the sky, just over the horizon,
a yolk-colored sun hastes to its place of dwelling

Red Sky Morn

Stormed clouds bringing thunder and rain.
    Howls of wind, singing insane.
Lightening smacks earth, ringing in pain.

Rain drops rap windows, tapping like haunted fingers.
Puddles turn flood, trapping life that lingers.
Booms and flashes snapping the night with stingers.

Red sun rises, shining its kingly glow.
Mother Earth remains painfully quiet, with scratches and scars to show.
She dare not tell on the storm, for the sun can never know...

        Ssshhhh...

The Sun Rose Red

As Dawn cracks over the horizon
The small crescent moon takes a bow
Greeting her was a delight
For she paints silver in his hair

The moon was hardly visible
Painted the same shade of blue
That the sky chose as a cloak
On this morning of early dew

The cloak of blue had a trail of mist
That shrouded the hills and vales
A misty blue to silver gray
That was light and very airy still

The birds enjoy the cloak
That fanned the air with damp
Cooling mist of the night
But soon the sun put on another

Cloak as she became much brighter
With her dress of brilliant red
That she wore to grace our summer's day
A cloak as colored as poinsettias' tips

On a gray December day
This means that the sun
Will bring heat with her as hot as
A fiery oak wood coal

And the cool of the morn
Will go as the summer's sun
Has bid us a warm hello
The moon with his silver hair

Disappearing into night
To another land so swiftly
Did he go to bring it a high tide
While ours will go very low

The sun rose cloaked in red
Bringing her heated stove
She will bake and cook some bread
Heating the south as across the sky goes

Ol' Sea Snake's Carriage Ride

Ol' Sea Snake's Carriage Ride

Cobblestones wobble and rock the carriage,
as I circle these streets with Blue Bits and
Derby Boy on this vibrant morning.

With the sun on my back and a salty gale brushing
by, my spirits soar as I imagine what the day will bring.

People come from all over to tour this city,
and soak up it's history and scenic views.

Why not climb aboard my carriage and take
a brisk ride with me on this beautiful day?

As we trot through the historic district, I'll
tell you some of our most scandalous folklores
and show you their shocking locations,
like Copper Moon Ridge, where pirates once
dressed as dames to steal their first good swig
of America's finest moonshine.
It's still pretty darn good!

You'll see the towering cliff views of our granite
lighthouse, whose menacing design has weathered
decades of the ocean's pounding tides.

We'll squeeze in time to feed the beached seals basking
in the sun or catch a rare glimpse of the orca whales
playing in our bay.

If romance is your desire, I'll tool you around in the moonlight,
to our brightest vistas that magnify the star's diamond twinkles.
...Perfect for capturing your lover's passion-heart.
I'll even take a long stroll, just to assure you of your privacy.
 ...Gentleman's honor, I won't take a peek!

If it's fish and chips you seek, we'll head over to
Smacky-Bud's Mackerel Shack for the tastiest fish around.
But I'll be up front with you, don't feed any to Derby n' Bits
or it'll be a long ride back.

So jump aboard and take a ride with this Ol' Sea Snake,
while there's still time.
I'm not getting any younger!

You day-trippers spend too much of your weekly grind
in your lackluster cars.

Come, sit back and unwind for a short time.
I'll sweep you back to the golden age of enchantment,
when hearts would mysteriously merge on a slow-trotting
carriage ride. Memories like these could last you a lifetime!

Refusal

I embrace the dark as my own
Where shadows pale and absent light
Threads of time never sewn
Like the sun to never meet but a single night

And travelers grow but weary
Drifters sought for homes to stay
Evermore to never be constantly
Have I not yearn but a single day?

Out of phase, out of place
Everywhere is but nowhere all at once
Illusions and dreams, never again to chase
Have I a light from darkness to be given chance?

Allow me to refuse for a moment’s pause
If all shall disregard in kind
It is but treasured because its lost
That of missing, perhaps anew shall promise find

From light... was darkness my own?
Shadows but all eluding from sight
Time found, never promised home
And I see the sun absent shadowy night

High Cloud

High Cloud

High cloud, high cloud, where are you going?
You seem determined to go where ever the wind’s blowing,
High cloud, high cloud, where will you go,
While the sun sets and the shadows grow,
You’ve had a long day
You’ve came a long way
Drifting through the air, are you a castaway?
You provide beauty
You provide reason
You’re forever changing, as are the seasons
You hold a silent faith,
You serve a quiet purpose,
With nothing more to offer than what’s on your surface,
You amuse children,
Leave adults in awe,
You affix your grace where ever you are,
High cloud, high cloud, where are you going?
You’re fearless to go where ever the wind’s blowing,
High cloud, high cloud, where will you go,
Once the sun sets, and the shadows grow

MEMORIES OF A FISHERMAN

I remember how you looked that day;
How happy, young and free.
Your sun bleached hair, your sun bronzed skin,
I watched you from the lea.

You never saw me standing there,
I'm glad it stayed that way.
We never spoke, we never met,
But I came every day.

I came to watch you cast your net.
You were my mystery man.
I whiled away the live long day,
Watching from the sand.

You seemed to have all you could need,
The surf, a boat, a net.
I close my eyes and click my heels,
And I can see you yet.

The Queen

All the night she hear her parents fight,
-and come the morn the storm has yet to die.
Tears upon a cheek,
is how no child should be.
It's so hard sometimes,
watching it unwind.
-But when the sun has set,
and it's time for bed, she goes to sleep,
and in her dreams,
she becomes a Queen.
Oh, yes, she becomes a Queen.
It'll be ok, trust me,
one day she'll be free,
'cause I believe, she will see,
that she is a Queen.
Someday, she will be The Queen.

All the day she slave until she weak,
-juggling responsibilities.
Emptiness inside,
is no kind of life.
It's so hard sometimes,
to take things in stride.
-But when the sun has set,
and it's time for bed, she goes to sleep,
and in her dreams,
she becomes a Queen.
Oh, yes, she becomes a Queen.
It'll be ok, trust me,
one day she'll be free,
'cause I believe, she will see,
that she is a Queen.
One day, she will be The Queen.

All the afternoon you woo my eye,
-everyday I watch you pass me by.
Things inside my soul,
you may never know.
It's so hard sometimes,
finding the right lines.
-But before this song ends,
one thing must be said, listen to me,
you're what I need,
would you be my Queen?
Oh, yes, would you be my Queen?
I would bow down on one knee,
for your majesty,
'cause I believe, to be complete,
you must be The Queen.
Just say, you will be my Queen.

I'll say it one more time,
before I say goodbye.
You can do anything,
be anyone you like.
-Just believe,
in yourself, you'll see,
you can be a Queen.

I believe...
You will be The Queen.

My Hidden Garden

Days that end on notes unwell
Compel this weeping soul
To walk among a secret garden

Where stepping stones in careful lay
And the rains of winged and flower friends
Give way to hearts unburdened

And to tears of joy
Or that of weathered season
To water the rose petals in uneven

“Tells us dear, why always sadness”
“Is when you visit here?”
“No more worries, friends will change that frown upon which you wear”

Their rainbow already smiles
And polka dotted eyes
Have ready changed me back to cherry cheer

As Sun flora holds me so motherly near
Where Doodly Bug does her dancing thing
And Blue Jay fails to tell a joke, because all he can do is sing

Betty Fly within her elegance of silence mimes
To Mr. Dandy Lion sending wishes off into the winds
And Inchee worm finally reaches me at the gardens end

In and among the gather, laughter spills all around
As the garden fills ever more and more
Until the sun party crasher comes down and down

And the fire flyers usher, and take to flight
A signaling sight to all
What brings about a hush quiet overhaul

And as I rise, once more in cries
In departs from my secret friends
They offer out all their good nights and even more their goodbyes!

My garden secret and hidden far
Safely within an enchanted meadow
Is tucked away like a precious treasure… beneath my softly pillow

The saga of the dusty road

The Saga of dusty roads of Utah
(To the memory of Don W. Esplin, father of Kathryn Esplin-Oleski)
= =
There he was playing with some mild explosives,
in his own backyard, a resolute boy he is;
the June month had swelled like the taut belly of
a neighborhood lady; the boy wanted to be
a scientist which he became. He, of course could not
envision that all these sepia dust of Utah,
the noon backyard and a young scientist’s narrative
would be remembered by his explosive daughter
and a strange Indian was going to pen a saga.

Alfred Nobel was smiling from a page of a book

The boy rolled a cigarette, the smoke’s curlicues
swirl up to grain the picture. A blast almost choked
the bright blue jays and robins. Defused sun slanted.
The end of the road was just an end of the road
where sun could meet earth, warm grass shook off the heat
and the covert window of the farm house would yield
a father and son talk. Strong argument on
future, on an university, on money
on a world that could differ in generations;
of course the boy, as a father, understood
his girl, then living apart. But distance is in heart.
He would grow up midst dreams. A quirky wind would blow him
here and there; navy, marriage and science,
pharmacology and marriage again; a gust
of wind would take him on a ride that, if he could
read this he would have said, resembled his truck rides
down the roads of Utah. But at that point of time
he was wide awake inside his misty night’s sleep
and an American novel is shooting up
its multiple heads in search of fresh oxygen.
The waves of moon were enjoying a full tide.

day dreaming

that painting i look at every day.
god i wish i was there.
the beautiful orange leaves falling everywhere.
an old house just calling my name.
in the middle of nowhere.
i close my eyes and imagine the breeze.
it feels cool, i start to sneeze.
the clouds are moving to the west.
i lay down a blanket and watch the sun set.
the sun goes down as my phone rings.
i'm back at the office my dream is gone.
i look at the painting whistfully, i'll be back.
i start to loose focus, there i am, under that tree.
staring at the clouds as leaves fall around me.
snap, back at the office again.
until tomorrow my beautiful friend.

Opportunity

Blue Moon tonight which is very rare
It happens on New Years Eve once in nineteen years
Will you be watching to see if it peeks through
In New York City, Albany, or Calimazu

Maybe in Ormand Beach, Florida
Utah, Alaska a state so fair
How about in the United Kingdom
Africa, Asia, Malayia, or Bonnie Scotland where

It may shine on ice and snow
Or rain reflecting streets
Somewhere on the desert plain
Where the sidewinders sleep

Will the clouds part for just
A short time for you and me
So we can see this phenominum
That will be such a treat

I will be watching and hope
For just a peek, if only for a moment..
That would be so neat
My day will be filled with excitement

As I watch and wait
This could be the night
That I might stay up late
Sit out on the porch in the cold

Hoping to share with you
A night of anticipation
Of a moon that is blue
Will it cast a shadow

On my gray gray hair
Or hide all the wrinkles
That shows my character
So that youth is reflected

On this night so fair
On this night so rare
On this night to share
On this night be there

(Some explanation of Blue Moon. (1) Earth close to sun-so earth gets more sun and moon
will be brighter. (2) Moon will be closer to earth so seems larger. (3) Full moon rises to a
point nearly opposite the sun and because sun is low this time of year the full moon will rise
particularly high. Blue moon is not blue in color but two full moons in one month because we
do not use lunar calendar but one devised by man. Last blue moon on New Years Eve was
l990 and next will be 2028 or every 19 years.) (There are several explanations how the term
came into being but I will let you look it up.)

Mother Star

I am aimed and directed for a shooting star.
In the midst of a collision I am traveling far.

Nothing can stop me for I am on a lifelong mission.
I’m timing the clocks and gaining some recognition.

I am in and out of reality stumbling onto a delusion.
Sometimes I want to run free and go into seclusion.

The wind tries to hinder me so I shew it to go away.
I stand on the Moon and make the Sun arise a new day.

I am looking down at a world that is misunderstood.
If I could have I would have and then again I should.

But that is neither here nor there so I will fair.
I have accumulated a bit and have much to share.

However, there is a cornerstone one can get stuck.
One must find the mother Star and hope for lady luck.

Once you find it you will be well on your way,
You’ll rise with the Sun and be brighter each day.

Cerebral Puddle

Thoughts swell in my mind like a puddle on a rainy day
as droplets of ripples expanding the puddle's display.

Clouds in the sky clapping away the applause can be heard for miles.
The light of the sky grasping the land like a parents hand to a child's.

Then in an instant the shadow consumes the light shadowing both far and near,
so brilliant in an instant as seen in lighting before it disappears.

The puddle remains growing from the raindrops still falling through out the night
like the brain performing cerebral function to manifest thoughts to sight.

Thoughts to the mind like raindrops to a puddle distorts reflections meant to be seen
as the brilliance of the night, the puddles remembers as inspiration for the mind to
dream.

The claps of thunder has ceased, the rain does not stop but lessens
as the sun creeps to the horizon the dawn the puddle beckons.

The rain has halted as morning inches closer the aroma of dew is pungent in the air
the puddle remains still unshaken in the dawn glowing from the sun's glare.

As a bride on her wedding day awaiting the moment she stands before her groom
the puddle has waited throughout the rainy night admiring the sun from the moon.

Like a princess to a mask her glance reveals the fairest complexion
as the sun smiles down upon the land through the puddle of his own reflection.

Last night's dream

Wandering in a desolate desert
The sun above shining so bright
Searching for water in the mirages
To soothe my parched tongue
Walking on the hot sweltering sand
I am ,with my blistered feet
My skin drenched in my own sweat
My cheeks wet with painful tears
My body lost its last drop of water
Fell unconscious under the merciless sun
To my surprise ,I woke up on a flowery bed
Scented with exotic orchids
My ears hearing the music of a rustling brook
Opening my eyes to a different scenery
My heart got filled with ecstasy
Soothing morning Sun I could see
In a beautiful pink sky
Trees filled with blossoms all around
The water of the brook so clear,
Shimmering in the morning light
I walked up to the brook
Placed my wounded feet in it
Magically they were healed
Healed also was my restless soul
I felt at last ,I reached my destiny
Then suddenly bells started ringing
A shrieking ringing bell I heard
Startling me out of my bed
It was my Alarm clock
Wiping sweat from my brow
I remembered last night’s dream
I had experienced heaven and hell
In just one night, for sure

Illusion

Thine was the glory -
When the sun rose one winter morning,
To love me, I relished myself and basked with my esteem,
I was abided by the greeting rays -
And I followed it, till my eyes seized me...
Thine was the glory -
I saw her at a glance and it seemed I lived the moment -
It seemed I lived a life.

Thine was the glory -
When the moon gleamed one winter evening,
To hug me, I enchanted myself and suspired the fondness,
I was maneuvered by the adorning rays -
And I winked it, till my arms hemmed in...
Thine was the glory -
I hugged her for once and it seemed I lived the moment -
It seemed I lived a life.

Thine was the glory -
When the spring got hold of time and allayed the daylight,
To verse me, I sensed myself and pleased the warmth,
I was sedated by the soulful met -
And I graced it, till the flushing time...
Thine was the glory -
I assured her for once and it seemd I lived the moment -
It seemed I lived a life.

Thine was the glory -
When the summer flamed up and brightened the liaison,
To bless me, I devoted myself and assured the consequence,
I was honored by the moral dignity -
And I adored it, till my endurance evinced the realisms...
Thine was the glory -
I valued her for once and it seemed I lived the moment -
It seemed I lived a life.

Thine was the glory -
When the sun doomed behind the roaring clouds,
To lust me, I drenched myself and coused along with the mizzle,
I was lipped by the wishful drops -
And I sheltered it, till my love stormed with the illusion...
Thine was the glory -
I endured the roarings and it seemed I was only living those moments -
As it only seemed I was living a life but not a realism.

When darkness falls

 Day and night, that

 separating plight. A

 flat-line of light has

 begun. As darkness

 falls see how fright

 sets in us all, during

 these darkened hours.

 Ending up in a cowering

 state of disarray with no

escape. All that can be done

is to wait upon the rise of

 our magnificent glowing

 sun.

Golden afternoon

The pretty glow of the golden sun as it sets

is a sight to behold on this afternoon;

the sweet warmth of this sight

can be felt only once in the day...

Bright gold and orange pellets

of dust float in the soft sunlight

tracing invisible words

of what you want to say...

Like this is a wonderful time

filled with a magic of its own

Just like every time

the sun makes its way through fields & lawns....

The Minds Elusive Light

To die, to hope, to love, to give
To fight, to hurt, to want, to live

Life as a star, scorching heat, burning bright
Under the sun, scorching heat, reflecting light

Angels and demons all burn by flame
Illuminated, they are the same

Under the sun, within the mind
We are one, light leaves us blind

Compare and contrast, how long will we last?
Slow to fast, quickly, before we're passed

By our morals, convictions, the sun above
By our zeal, ambition, the moonlight love

Swallowed instead by our stubborn lethargy
Consumed, mislead, by our comatose apathy

Do not rely on the sun to always give
Do not lean on light, life eternally to live

Time is long, life is short, passion even less
Reason can be sound, memory can be stout, the mind can regress

Choices can be wrong, life is short, plans turn to mess
Answers can be found, decision and doubt, chance prone to guess

Spend wisely your brief life, utilize passion to find purpose
Remain fluid and elusive, overcome weakness, pursue your bliss

The Sum

The sum is much greater than just its parts.
More than a thought it grows in your heart.
I look at all these pieces that make up me.
When they join together, beauty you see.

I look across a field and see many trees.
Upon a closer look, grass and a river I see.
They all present beauty when they are apart.
But put together, they are a painting in my heart.

I look up and see the grandness of the sky.
My imagination grows wings like birds fly.
There also is the sun along with the clouds
When put together the picture it allows.

It all seems to change as I head toward night.
The sun explodes in colors, the sun still shining bright.
Darkness soon approaches the stars and moon in sight.
It paints a picture of peace and everything is alright.

As we journey through night it shall start over again
The sun greets the horizon much like a good old friend.
The light shines downward, revealing each and every part.
When they join together, they are a painting in my heart.

On evening

On Evening
================
The sun has been trying to move
the loose boughs falling over its face,
in vain.
Out of its front door a road goes
to meet the impatient lady
waiting at the other bend.
Here truths simply interchange.
The myths remain no more myth,
their blending into realities
becomes golden with the sun.
Slowly sun pours itself a stiff liquid…

Story Time

In storybooks, my son and I chase dreams to magical wonderlands near and far. Catching rainbows on a golden sun beam, we stop to wish upon a shooting star and find fairies glowing inside a jar. Clues come to life and a big red dog plays. Adventures come to ordinary days. Mother Goose entertains us with a rhyme, And heroes chase villains high on sun rays. Books skip through a boy's mind at story time.

Changing Weather

The sun pours down its golden rays,
The dark clouds sneeze out rain,
The rainbow streaks its arc so high,
The winds all whine again.
When old man winter shakes his head,
His dandruff falls as snow;
The ice is nature’s pane of glass,
The frost its whiffing blow.
The white clouds hang like cotton puffs,
And as the sun sinks low,
They catch on fire with its last rays
And set the sky aglow.
The mist arises from the lakes,
The dew sweats on the yard;
The fog that nestles in the air
Makes driving very hard.
The sun, the wind, the clouds, the rain--
Yes, all these things together
Each in their role make up the thing
That we call changing weather.

One of my few "secular" poems...

Bleeding Sun With Rays Of Gold

Bleeding sun with rays of gold
I’m feeling young, not feeling old
I’m touching ground I’ve only seen
And seeing greens there’ve never been
I’m watching her grow up so fast
With skin so red as the sun passed
She’s wearing white, it fits her well
And all these people are so swell
An invitation to the event of my century
I thank you wholly for this entry
And now no sun, I’m driving home
And this is where I feel so alone
As I am sitting in my seat
With no one next to me to greet
I’m by myself again, again
But I won’t let this be the end

the masteries dream

“The masteries dream”
Every night i seem to have the,
The seem masteries dream.
It begins with snow and ends with rain,
And has sun in between.
I start in the snow by a house,
So big and grand.
It’s look like i have been crying,
But i still don’t under stand.
I see a guy in the distance,
And the snow begins to stop.
I begin to smile,
As I can see a guy smiling back at me.
I can see his face but not for long,
As it begins to fade.
It doesn't matter what happens in this,
House but every thing seem to drain.
But than the sun begins to shine,
As a new day has arrived.
But the house has gone,
And so have i,
And there are mourners by a my grave.
Aah then i wake up of fear,
To check if i am alive,
Before going back to sleep,
to see the terrible dream inside.
As the weather has change again,
As now it begins to rain.
All i could see was a little girl,
swing on a chair with a cat between her feet.
Singing a song of loving treats,
And about her mother never,
Giving up in defeat.
So that was my masteries dream,
As it always seems to fad at the end.
If it’s ever comes true, You will be the first to now,
As i never give up in defeat.

Root

I am a root, forever growing
Growing to reach the heaven
But the sun burns me to the core
So I lurk in the shadows
I swallow my pride
And shine and shine
And continue to reach for the sky
No man, woman or being
Will cut off the roots, these roots
My roots
until i swallow the sun
and ransack the heavens for my dreams.

SHADOW AND LIGHT

Where do you go?
When the shadow
follows you so......

To escape the shadow
Is to have the sun,
high above
Looking down so
Bathed in light
Bathed in love

This darkened figure
follows you so
The sun setting
It grows bigger

Keep the sun high
Sunlight above
Feel the love
Feel the high

This place
Between shadow and light
Dark space
Golden bright

Where do you go?
When the shadow
gets you down so

Step into the light
Where shadow
Cannot go
Enjoy golden bright
This is your right

1 - SONNET ON VISION

What inward sight illuminates our way -
Whose lucid eye can all the ages span -
To see the Mystic Law that holds its sway
Beyond the endless birth and death of Man?
The luminary moon, when night is done,
Still rules the tides, though the daylight hides it.
The lotus always turns to face the sun
And yet what blossom eye ever guides it?
The cross-eyed men with intellect adorn
Their intuitions - blind who lead the blind -
The common mortals - blind when they were born -
With doubtful eyes that Truth could never find.
We look - we stare - we gaze and gaze - but we,
With sightless eyes, forever fail to see.

The Stranger and The Fence

I held onto the top and looked over the fence
with a mighty jump and lift. The fence was so high
I struggled to see what was beyond.
It had taken all my strength to get near the top.
I had seen a glimpse of a man's head!
I knew someone was there on the other side!
I had been walking that day, and the day before
that and many days before that. I had seen this fence in the
distance when I was travelling and could not see where neither
left side nor right side ended. So, I had approached the fence looking for a door.
No door. A continuous fence? I had never seen one before. I called out gently,
'Hello?' '
'Hello there!' came the response.
It seemed we were both in the same predicament;
Both wanting to get over the large picket fence.
So we talked. We both sat. Talked till the Sun went down.
It got chilly. Sat with our backs to the wall to keep warm.
The Sun was on its way up. He had made me laugh through
the breezy night. I had forgotten myself. My situation.
He had taken my heart and I did not know.
'Well what are we to do?' he finally asked. 'Our journeys seem to coincide, maybe
we can go together?'
I smiled, agreed.
He attempted to climb over and fell back down.
I did so too. I could not grip myself onto the fence anymore.
We both became determined but we did not succeed. Tired, bruised and angry.
We sat on either side and panted out our dismay.
'I cannot get over.' He finally gave up. 'Nor I.' I shook my head.
'Time is running out for me.' We both said in unison and laughed.
'I must go on my journey.' He stated, my heart hurting.
'Same here.' I wiped my stray tear.
'Well I know we cannot shake hands, but maybe you can reach my fingertips at
the top?'
I sniffed a smile, saw his fingertips, jumped and touched them
goodbye.
'Maybe we will meet again.' He said solemnly. I heard his steps.
'I have a notion we are not even walking in the same direction after all.'
I said, the situation worsening. We said our sad goodbyes.
I walked on for an unknown time, parallel to the overbearing fence,
a heavy feeling in my stomach. I looked up and saw hinges on the fence.
A door in the distance! I ran, my eyes hungry for such a sight! I swung the door
open embracing the other side.
Eyes wide, heart racing, I looked desperately for my true love. My expression
slowly faded, my glee dropped as I stood on his empty side of the fence.
He was gone.
I dropped my bag by his old footprints. My mind raced making decisions.
I followed.

Faded Love

Once we were strong like the tall oak tree
As bright as the sun on a hot summer's day
Passion so strong you would stop and be still
Beauty as deep as the red, red rose
But now like the branch of the old oak our love has fallen
Just as the sun that fades into the deep, deep darkness so does our love
As we move quickly in the hustle and bustle of the day
We forget to be still and so then our love is forgotten
Just as the beauty of the rose faded so did our love
And so it seems this is a story of faded love

Bad Luck Birds

A blood-red owl and a pale white raven
Sit on my shoulder all through the night
The sun rises and they won’t let me be
The day, what now, I thought they’d leave with the light

Plague my mind

Ever and for still the night

Yet I dye easy as hearts always fall

Falling farther and I can’t make this right.

Little deaths are breaking me down
It’s killing me inside so I can’t hear the sound
Of her eyes calling me away
There’s nothing left to say, I can’t keep you around,

Toes curl at the owl’s screech in the night

The sun setting and I turn away

I can’t stand the sight

I just lost another day.

40 thieves of dreams within dreams part 2

Now we have kings of hell
A metaphysical chess of wishes
All revolving around me
Trapped inside this cave
This mountain
It’s still really before Christ
the prophet hasn’t been born
but if we can find the exit
we can change the real world
come back to this cave and rediscover destiny

A dream within a dream
and the dreams of fourty thieves
Three wishes
And a genie passed around
An exit we can’t find
A world inside a mountain cave with a sun and its own stars
What will we do?
What will we say?
When the door opens?
The travelers come in
and the lamp with a will of its own escapes our grasp
and we are stuck here forever
Fighting amongst ourselves with our own selfishness vanity and greed?

When all of your wishes have been granted
Many of your dreams will be destroyed
Just another truthful romance of a famous Satanist
Born into something wished upon mankind
40 thieves created in drunken stupors intellectual combat and jealousy

When will the door open and the exit be shown to us?
Will we take the population of the future world into the past with us?
Or leave them behind in this mountain?
Will you build me the king of the fourty thieves into a god?
and lock me here forever in this mountain forever
With your genie
Have you figured out the perfect wish?
Are we sober yet?
Have we woken to find sobriety?

Take me out of the harpie pool
Lead me to the wishing well
Give me my coins of the days of old
and remind me once again that we are merely traveling forward in time

Can you hear me?
Can you see me?
Do you know what I know?
Can you see what I see?
Will u lead me to the exit?
To change our world
Or are you still wishing for all the glory?

In a dream with in a dream
40 dreamers wishing their dreams into reality stuck inside a mountain
this earth is what we are
A cavern with its own sun and solar system and space ships
and an exit into the past
where we the fourty thieves have just become
prophets and visionaries
Momentary gods of futuristic possibilities
to be creatively shunned and thrown away

Will you lead me to the exit?
Wish me to save you from your vanity denials and greed
Have you forgotten everything?
Do you know what I know?
Do you see what I see?
Am I here alone?
Did you leave already?
Is the door closed?
Is the magic word still
Open sesame?

The Sun bowed down to me

The sun bowed down to me
Has sent its brightest gleam
Of violet hues aglow its beams
Immersed my soul whole with its heat
To beg my heart to trust its plea.

My fears I lay aside for Thee
Choosing to believe Thy flares of heat
That soothed my yearning soul to peace
Aware Thy light my fears have freed
My heart complete I give to Thee.

The sun bowed down to me
Unworthy is the way I feel
Return to you Thy love I seek
To live my life in thanking Thee
For never will I your side leave.

Paints The Sky

She paints the sky with white and blue,
With a stroke of her hand, a paradise for two.
She paints the sky, where our love reigns true.
But now she paints the sky with shifting clouds, dark colors, shades, and hues.
What has happened here, in our paradise, just me and you?
The sun has set, in this idealistic world, now bleeding down the canvas, lost and untrue.
She has raped my sky, with lines, foreign colors, and haikus.
She riddles me lies, promising if my heart stays true,
The sun will rise again, in this monstrosity, built in the minds of we two.
Next time she strokes the brush, I expect bright colors, shades, and hues.
But this time something unexpected happens,
This time,
She paints the sky,
Monsoon.

SunshineThunder

The sun burning bright, across clear blue sky
The lightning so bright,it blinds the eye.
Not a cloud floating by,in a sky so blue;
Do you hear the thunder rumbling through?
Grass,flowers,and trees smile at the sun;
Gray ominous clouds across the earth do run.
Eagles fly higher on a clear summers'day;
The rain and the wind wash their nest away.
Rain becomes sprinkles,spots on the ground;
No more rain, grass and leaves turning brown.
Thunder and lightning,a soft summers'rain;
Blue skies, warm sunshine is all that remain.
Sun and water don't you know,Rainbow Rainbow

Sunshine Love

She saw him on the sidewalk
One evening in the spring
He was tall, dark and bashful
And quite a handsome thing

She never seemed to say a word
Each day as she passed by
He thought she didn't notice him
Or maybe, she was shy

Everyday when the sun came out
She saw him on the street
She wondered if he'd look her way
Or if they'd ever meet

He tried his best to call to her
But he couldn't say her name
He wanted to tell her how he felt
And hoped she felt the same

She saw him standing by a wall
Until it began to rain
For that's when shadows disappear
And vanish down the drain

But one day soon the sun returns
And shines from up above
Then their courtship starts all over
The shadow's sunshine love

The Shower

I sit inside
Watching the rain,
Tracing it's path
Down the window pane.

I gaze at the people
Rushing past,
Praying the shower
Will not last.

Coats are buttoned,
Umbrellas brought out.
It's a downpour
There's no doubt.

Snug inside
I sip my tea,
Getting wet
Is not for me.

People dash for cover
As the rain pelts down,
Making the puddles
A murky brown.

The streets are empty,
As the rain reaches it's worst.
It's a good job
I found shelter first.

Slowly the puddles
Stop growing in size,
The sun and the rain
Reach a compromise.

As the rain drizzles down
And the sun reappears,
I see the most beautiful
rainbow I've seen in years.

People emerge
From under trees,
All that's left
Is a refreshing breeze.

Although it's dry
I want to stay another hour,
I'll watch and watch
For the next winter shower.

The Dreamers

Where do the dreams of the night take us
When poets falls asleep, oh moon tell us where?
And no more tears shall we weep when we are there
How do dreams fade in the setting sun of our nightmares?
How does the seam open from the clothes of our cares?
How do we get back all we lost from the wars of our fears?
How do we love again and at what cost from the song of our tears?

Truley we have beseeched the one
Beyond the valley of the setting sun
Flew past the dark arrows of the archer
Only to be poisoned by the dark arrows of the scorpion
And found no antidote in the belly of the sky's fishes.
Now every night on our knees we pray for our dream's wishes.

Female of nature

I couldn't sleep all night for the for the sound that came
The sound of footsteps on the forest path
I bounced up from my bed and looked through the window
And there came the smell of fresh forest earth
But I sow no one in the lonely meadow
Where the thick grown grass quench their thirst
From the motherly lake who is never tired
She flows with the breeze and kisses the crust
There was some thing about the woods that they pretended
But no one there and the sound never ended

Up comes the sun with the news of the day
But I haven't got a moment's sleep
That sound of footsteps had come all the night
As the stars had disappeared and the daylight creeps
I opened the door and stepped outside
Closer to the nature who changes all the time
Through the path and into the woods
In the darkest morning with its earliest sight
I went deeper and deeper; left and right
In search of the one whose footsteps I heard
Suddenly I sow a footstep on grass
Drawn as if it belongs to them

Than I understood who she is
She is the one who is nature herself
I looked at the clouds and saw her eyes
And felt her lips where the rosy sun rises
I felt her call deep into my heart
I ran and ran on the damp forest earth
Then I found her fingerprints drawn on a tree
On the softest mosses that shakes with the breeze
As I went deeper and deeper I found out
Somebody had gone through the wild grasses
They’re shaking with the scent of wild flowers (she has kept)
And the scent is coming from every place she has stepped

Suddenly I felt a motion in my right
And saw the bushes that were still shaking
I ran past them towards their motion
Is this the truth or just a fiction?
My heart is telling me that I shall find out
I'm going, I'm going, I'm still going deeper
I'm hearing, I'm hearing, I'm hearing her call
Where I heard the sound of a water fall
Then I saw the girl who is sitting with the flowers
And put out her green eyes, so clean, so bright
I stood spellbound to see the beauty she holds
But then she startled and went out of sight

Never and never and never will she come
To the world of ours, to the brick build culture
I cannot tell more even if you insist
She'd live in her home as long as it exists

Exhalted

I saw the Sun and the Moon take a stance in the universe.
And an unknown Star placed over them was put in charge.
The whole entire inhabitants scattered themselves at large.
And all the lands and seas became separated by a diverse.

The Sun Shined brightly in the west never to set in a curse.
The Moon gleamed fully bright to the east as the surcharge.
The door had been widely opened and many came by barge.
The stress was great because the world went into a reverse.

Fate and destiny was being dished out like a deck of cards.
Skies lit up and the Stars came back out like never before.
And the palm trees took up to the seas like standing guards.
And from this stemmed growth from that one opened door.

The Sun and Moon are exalted above and beyond you all,
And so is the Star in charge of those that flaw in its thrall.

The Notable Oak

Scarlet clouds skinny-dip
In the wealth of your limbs,
Highlighting your glorious
State of grace,
And I am your audience
Applauding unrehearsed magnificence;
Intensely poignant,
This simple display,
To intrigue and inspire
The likes of Kilmer.

“More,” I fiercely cry.
“More!”

Alas, the sun has done her duty
And she’s fled to western horizons,
Leaving me to mourn the sight
Of your moss-draped canopy
Wrestling with the sky
For consideration,
But oh, Live Oak,
You need not fear my memory.
I shall dream of you
As I slumber beneath your branches.

When the sun comes to visit again,
You’ll see me smile once more.

Chemical Sun

Bad deal today, at times confusing but always harsh.
I may be lying in the mud, but I’m starring up at the stars.
Catching my flight to bliss, trying to ease the pain.
Watching from my semidetached state, the city flame into day.

Chemical sun rising over me, burning pure truth.
I think I’m falling apart again, but you always help me through.

Everyone was on me all day, now its over and I’m audi.
The flaming fury of the day, slowly going out across the city.
Mysteriously beautiful night, I just wish she could see,
through all the floating thoughts, just what’s happening to me.

Chemical sun rising over me, burning pure truth.
I think I’m falling again, and I believe its for you.

You’re so open, never fronting, always straight.
Talking inhibitions, and decisions about soul mates.
We are now, not tomorrow, these thoughts are not ours to think.
I truly know your pain, sweet Isabelle, you don’t have to speak.

Hip

Hip roof house adorned
With a yellow wig that glows
From sun light dancing

(Go by this house many times in a week but happen by at a time when the
angle of the sun with such that the autumn colored leaves looked like a wig on
the house top.)

Dawn's Orphan,Midnight's Accepted Son

I've got the Sun in My soul

Your eyes on my skin...my imperfection

I've got the misled night under my spell
I am the one who has left her in a trance

Here in her midnight i am her storm, her marauder for love

I've got the sun in my soul
the midnight is silver in my city...no one knows where I am

The broken day provides no justice...only visible madness

gypsy women on the sidewalk, calling my name as if we've shared dreams together, planned our
lives since children

The music is caught, trapped within the wind

Give it all to me now baby...don't be scared
I can capture it all for you...don't be scared I'll show you a good time

Songs of the dead
Hymns of the living
The caught tears of the yet to be born

I have the misled night under my spell
my imperfection my dark street

I've got to block it all out keep it away

This ain't your scene kid...come on,go away this can't be good for you

The Day has come
I'll be back later...me and my gang of shadows

Compelled

I felt compelled within my spirit
Even though it's icy cold
To go out on the porch for just a minute
To enjoy the works of God

When the door I opened
Beauty and sound did surround
For the sun was rising in the distance
Flashing color all around

The mist was rising in the distance
From the creek down the way
The sky was ablaze in color
From red to pink then gray

The sun a fireball blazing
So close to mother earth
With jet steaks of white cotton
Across the pale blue morning sky

The colors constant changing
As slow as a clam opens its shell
The banks of colors awed me
Filled my spirit until it swelled

The roosters sang in unison
Their love for the miraculous show
The mist just kept on creeping
Till the pines and forest overflowed

Now the mist surrounds me
Chilling me to the bone
But I feel wrapped in God's
Abiding love that comforts and upholds

There goes another jet streaking
Across the morning sky
The exhaust will add one more
Layer to the color of the sky'

To be able to capture in words
Or on a canvas fine
The beauty that I see
In God's loving hand divine

Coffee Covered Sun

Watching as the stars go by
On this strange and ethereal wave
The sunshine burning down on
This fine and wild ride
Fly on the Dream Bean
Too close to the heat
Release the cargo, my friend
Cut the engines, grab a mug
And give a hearty toast
To our coffee covered sun
For we have seen the summer rise
Rise with the sun in the morning
The early warmth that bids the night its leave
We grin stupidly, happily, wickedly
Electric that is what they say
This feeling in the air of this place
Sharp and strange and new
Free and wild and barely restrained
So suddenly do I see this
A stark contrast to my old pain
I now see a world full over
A light shines in the darkest way
Like flash-tag
Summer with tangled hair and slashed jeans
The season of commerce and play
Well goodbye, friends
This best of times shall never stop
As the sun shines down
You smile and cry in the walls we trust
And so, farewell
For what is in the game?
But for wild abandon and a name?

Wonderland

Once again the sandman visited late last night,
I held my arms open wide greeting him.
As the dust settles on my eyes I slip,
I fall down a hole, slipping into a new world.
A world where everything is what it isn't,
And everything it shouldn't be, it is.
I sit all day in the sun listening,
As the flowers sing me a lullaby.
The rabbit races around the clock,
Making my new world spin.
Faster and faster soon I'm sipping tea,
With a hatter whose awefully mad.
Twinkle twinkle little bat,
Goes the sleepy mouse in the tea pot.
Look out silly mouse here comes a cat,
A smile is all that shows of Sir Chesire.
This world is so strange but beautiful,
It's absolute maddness around here.
But alas it's time to go back to reality,
So I disappear into the catapillers smoke.
As I open my eyes the sun greets me warmly,
Smiling as tho it knows my secret.
That I, Alice, have been to Wonderland.

Sunshine Superman

There’s something wrong with the sun you see,
I need you to go up there and fix it for me.

You’ll need to put up a ladder to the clouds and climb,
And then work your way up to the sun from behind.

Whatever is wrong with it, I know you’ll fix,
I’ve seen your work and I know your tricks.

You’ll know what’s wrong when you get to the place,
Just take some tools for your trip into space.

And then in the morning when I wake up I’ll see,
The sun will be shining in my window on me.

lucifer

i met lucifer walking back
to my head this morning,
he was shaking the hand
of the sun in the morning,
his hands red-stained
of child's blood.

i asked him "why?"
"because i shouldn't have"
i asked him "why?"
"because they wanted me not to"
i asked him "why?"
"because they have no life"
i asked him "why?"
"because their life is my life"
i asked him "why?"
"because the rules of the weak
are food for the strong,
because it covers them"
i asked him "why?"
"because those dead are closer
to life than those living"
i asked him,
his hands
wet with red,
"why?"
"because all that's good
wants to keep you static"
i asked him "why evil?"
"because change is necessary,
revolution, digestion, destruction"
i asked him "give me life"
he said, his hands dripping red,
"it is taken."

the hole in my belly
that my soul had filled
is as wet with red
as i watch the sun rise
on the death of my death.

NATURE'S TRANQUILITY

The waves crash in,
the sand swirls about,
the sun envelopes me,
erasing all doubt.

The cool sea air,
refreshes my soul,
and adds clarity to my life,
where day to day stuff takes a toll.

The waves crash in,
with their regular beat,
and they hypnotize me,
into a sense of tranquility.

The sun surrounds me,
in a gentle way,
that warms my soul,
and takes the pain away.

So to escape from life,
and all it's hostility,
I travel to the coast,
to absorb nature's tranquility.

Life's Tree

I sit with leaves falling from the tree
Of lives sun rays shining on me
The way time flies with no time to see
They way they drop so carelessly

Oh life so short with no time to spare
To leave this place with nothing to share
Only one chance to sit under there
Watching them fall without a care

They float to the ground like the falling snow
With all my seeds still left to sow
There is no choice when it is time to go
As quickly as the sun will melt the snow

While under the tree make it last
The leaves fall quick
 And the wind blows fast

The Ducks Are Free

Within my sight of ocean breeze
I see the curve of earth and sea
The little ducks as they walk about
A show of wings for a simple handout.
White clouds pass, subtle and calm
Giving rest to the sun upon the kiddie pond
The sunlight twinkles as the children play
Together they're dancing within the waves.
Here comes a duck with questioning eyes
A piece of bread or even some pie?
Bikinis and trunks play in the sand
Not one of them lovers, not one holding hands.
This all seems distracted as in playful dispute
The beach is so quiet, maybe they're mute
The glare of the sun brings me back to my write
I see the seagulls attacking a kite.
Although the beach I thought serene
This one corrects me of all I have seen
Only the ducks seem peaceful to know
Their questioning eyes and hunger side show.
The people are sad or poor I bet
To come to this beach, in silence get wet
If this is the price of the beach for me
I'll come for the ducks, the ducks are free.

Sun Screened

Letting it grow,
it's scratching the
sky.
Under its shadow, I
survive.
Further I climb.
The leaves shown.
I see a deep glow,
not quite a (bright)
shine.
Through the cracks
of the leaves, lines
of light breathe.
Sun Screened.
Half pure yet
un-mutilated.
A full gaze of
half-penetrated
life.
Partly touched by my
grace.
Slightly torn by bad
taste.
Still we watch it
grow.
Still we understand
we all need the same
thing.
A lighter soul, of
unmatched quality.
Bought by none and
bound by nil.
Still we ask, more
often than not-
Have I got it down?
Do we have it right?
Turn to the light,
the lines are
guides.
(And) Follow at
will.
Under shadow I
survive.
Further I climb.
A light does shine
and I bought it.
It's mine.

Whole lotta downs

Dip me in the pool to cool me down
Sit me in the sun to make me brown
Put me on a throne to give me crown
Take me in a car to drive to town
Lets go to the circus to see the clown
Make me really sad to make me frown
Stick me under water you can make me drown
Go into a church I wear my catholic gown
Set to blast away I await the countdown
If I was in a rocket I’d be set for splashdown
Going home would take me to my hometown
One kind of dance would be a hoedown
To have all the info you might have the lowdown
If you were speeding you might have to slow down
Going half the way might leave me in midtown
Needing to retire I might have to step-down
Doing very well will earn me renown
Getting really angry will make you breakdown
Being in South Africa might leave me in cape town
If I could not keep it running I might have to shutdown
Because I did not like it up I might have to turndown
From the rising of the sun I can work til sundown
Getting really sore I will need a rubdown
If I do not like your show you will get a thumbs-down
Some things that I buy are at a markdown
Hearing silly stories can leave me feeling cut-down
I like to see my lady in her beauty nightgown
Made some extra money from a good old boomtown
If I was not looking up you could see me facedown
Might be really funny if I were in Jamestown
Getting very hot we will have a meltdown
Doing me some wrong would get you knockdown
If I need to visit would you need to comedown
Pulling out your guns is bringing the showdown
Breaking all the rules I will have to crackdown
Getting very old do I look that rundown
If I caught the ball would I get a touchdown
Time for to me retire and I am going uptown
Where down in Ohio is a place called Youngstown
If you can not shake it up then you have to shakedown

Ashes to ashes, Dust to Perfection

Too many thoughts tabulated by one soul
Repairing broken hearts like clockwork
Working the night like the day was a gift
Sunshine wandering off into distant deserts
Could I be right?
Could I be wrong?
Unsettled and uncomfortable
Relaxing into life
Falling gently into imagination
Taken away to future places
Future lives
Future loves
Excitement takes over the unsettled thoughts
Aspiring to be better
To be complete
Not fixing
Nothing is broken
Piecing together a lost hope
Sliding the puzzle into place
Slowly but surely
The sun will not distant
The sun will wake like I with a smile
Broken hearts will become the past
Thoughts wont be tabulated
Thoughts will be embraced
The day and night
Everything in between
Fulfilled

The Sun on the Horizon

Honeydew on the grass sparkles with life as the Sun comes up shining.
Way up yonder the Horizon’s preparing for its glorious arising.
Purple, blue and gray radiantly come together and all stand out alone,
Way up under this great big earthly dome.
Bird’s shadows fly at distances, yet each distinct by their flocks belted,
And each disappears away in colorful misty skies where all of them roam!
Beauty in foresight is clearly seen on this perfect unthought-of day,
Even to my own likings of a surprising.
Too compelling just knowing that all days are counted by,
Each exact group already individualized by being numbered!
Foliage secretes from its many branches of trees per several hundreds.
All with there own story to make known to the unknown.
Consistently re-budding as season’s change to each one that is now arising.
All seeming to prepare for that God-awful battle called Armageddon.
Years pass on and still the Sun comes onto the horizon.
Life’s at a standstill, yet, steadily ticking with the hands of time to carry on.
Nothing can be done to stop the cycle of our Earth’s creation.
For every beginning there is and ending as it is to see
Dawning is “The Sun on the Horizon”!
Be thankful that you have this very day,
For the Sun is rising upon the horizon,
What a wonderful liaison!

Clouds are like dreams

The clouds are like dreams just passing by.
Coming then going leaving behind blue sky.
They float through the air and then disappear
The dark ones are filled with angel’s tears.

Some are so big you can’t see the top.
Their home is the sky that never stops.
Friends with the sun they provide it with rest.
Like the tops of a wave as it starts to crest.

I try to imagine what it would be like
Floating a while then vanishing from sight.
Up so high that you can only see down,
Having no course to which you are bound.

No two the same, different shapes and size.
They provide shade and keep the sun from my eyes.
Sometimes you can look up and not see a single one.
Other times they are continuous blocking out the sun.

I wonder of what is and where the clouds go,
Will they drift away as the wind begins to blow?
I look up at the sky and see they are a part
Clouds are like the dreams I hold in my heart.

Clouds are like dreams some come true.
Once you realize nothing else will do.
They become colorful just before night.
Some days there are none not any in sight.

Safe from the sun and gods wrath

The Journey Abroad the Sea

A ship once sailed in the wide open sea
A ship once called "All Aboard" to the ones who dared to take risks
Some heard that call and ran towards it
Slowly, they stepped onto its body...
Whilst fear with a pinch of courage overwhelmed them...
Turning back now was too late,
For the ship had sailed into the wide open sea...

Sunset approached the ship
As the sun slowly dipped into the sea...
The sky was painted red, orange, and yellow by then,
Calling out those who would care to join them
To paint the world with sleep...

Some of those on the ship rejected the call
As their eyes gazed at the stars up high
For they were lanterns that guide...
Their pondering and gazing soon stopped
For they eyelids couldn't handle it anymore...
And so they slowly glued together
Calling out to their masters "Go To Sleep..."
Calling to their beholders, to the ones on the ship.."Go To Sleep..."

Time passed so gently as the clock ticked by
Thus, a warm, gentle ray touched their faces
Carressing them to wake up
A smile spread upon their faces
As their eyes greeted the sun with a gentle blink...

That day, the sun played with the clouds
Whilst the wind and birds joined with pride
Yet, the journey was about to end
For the ship called once again
But this time it wasn't a welcoming "All Aboard"
In fact, it was a whistle waving goodbye...

Slowly, the ones the ship hands
And step by step went towards the land
Yet, a sound was heard from behind
As they turned behind towards the sea,
Something beautiful was displayed...
Where the sea was waving goodbye...

Searching

I walk and walk the many miles for you.
I give and give until I have nothing more.
I go on and on until I drop or fall,
But I’m searching deep because I search for it all.
Everyday I die more inside.
Eaten alive by myself inside of my core,
Because I’m left alive with life that only I can sort through!
I just want to see the Sun rising up so full and so high.
I want to see the Sun set so huge with shadowing bits that glow.
So I’ll just believe in this strength that comes through you to me.
I search for you but why should I be the one who has to be one that believes?
Everyday I’m alone and it’s nowhere that I go,
Even when it’s my thoughts that I clearly identify!
I just want to see the Moon so round and so high beaming me into the glow of light.
I want to see the Moon peering through the lighter of my brightest day.
I keep seeing all of these cushioned visions of just you and me.
Searching for you gives me the sight of all that I am to see.
Everyday I beg and beg until I hurt that you will stay.
But I’m left alone with reality in sight.
I just want so much for you and me.
I even want the same air that you breathe.
I keep holding onto this strength that I am I feel I believe.
Searching for you I’m with all that I can ever be!
Everyday I’m straightened by what my eyes can see,
But now I’m alone with what’s left alive and what didn’t flee.
So I’ll just keep searching for you while I search for what will be the all of me.

curious how this old soul
marooned here on this bleak unfulfilled
island wasteland of dreary dreams unfulfilled,
desiring a change into something more static,
let's see how it moves, this Promethean forged
mystical monster, see how it wrecks halls,
shakes earth, tears limb from spurting limb
buttoned with crimson coats.
don't beat your fists against this,
this impenetrable veil,
only it's own weapon destroys it,
only it's own vice traps it,
only it's own desire enslaves it,
only it's own punishment sets it free
of this hell we've made of a generation
so separated from itself, the monster from
the mind, the body from the soul,
each is a number, there is no difference,
see the unity between both, see the infinite
reaches of the finite circumference.
break the bound of reason
imposed upon our eden,
the energy abounds freely creating
itself as god, creating all that follows it
in the universe of i and in the mind's eye
the monster can only be seen
chained to his circumference,
chained to the brain, chained to the body.
see through the layers peeled,
the soul is in every fibre,
chained arm to shoulder,
the soul is in every fibre,
chained brain to mind heaven living in hell
married, chained to itself,
the soul is in every fibre,
the moon to earth chained,
the earth to the sun chained,
the sun to the soul chained,
the soul is in every fibre.

Adages Pt. 1 (the cloud)

Adages Pt. 1 (the cloud)

I am just baggage to the world
Cast away and forgotten
An entire life
Waiting for something

Every so often a random passerby
We exchange formal soliloquy
Just talking to ourselves
Wondering if anyone really hears

They always keep a lock on my eyes
To desperate to admit sad truths
Pretend they’re giving me sound advice
When just quoting old adages to themselves

They say
“Follow the sun,
For in the light shining upon all
You will find the way”

The same response
Every time runs through my head
“What of the clouds
Stealing the light from my eyes
They always gather around me
Darkening my life

“And what of deep night
Where I sink into despair
Alone and sinking in a world
Where no one seems to care”

They don’t seem to hear my words
Just keep ranting their securities
All the while shaking like leaves
In the harshest of autumn winds

I wonder if anyone can hear me
Or if I even hear myself
Can anyone see me?
Hidden in this cloak of clouds

I begin to feel comfortable
As my worldly self
Begins to drift away
Comfortable with no sun
To burn my skin red
Or to guide my way

I’m locked into a perpetual night
As the oppression of my clouds
Absorbs the light
Sun and moon and stars
And I’m left with nothing
But four walls
And a roof
And a little stool to sit on

I don’t notice any more random passerby
Just as they never noticed me
Just quote my old adages
Some god created just for me

“Stay in the clouds
A safe haven from the pain
I have no need
Of ever finding the way

“The world has spoken its ignorance
And has finally cast me away
I’m tired of endless clinging
And the guilt it brings my way

“If the life in this world
Revolves around an endless rhyme
The sun and moon and stars
I have better places to spend my time

“A room of nothing
No windows or air to breathe
Just a feeling of numb contentment
As my soul starts to bleed”

My conscious mind had made its final pitch
And it is off to the races
But I’m moving so slow
So slow

Forward

the sun is shadowed overhead
as i walk this long path forward

the trees, twisted with thorns
the leaves black
and i look back
at Nothing

my shadow
walks its own path
falling away on either side of my

a single glance of light
is hardly in sight

the only form of something
is a black crow
which becomes my new shadow

for the sun is shadowed overhead
as i walk this long path forward

The Lighthouse

The amber sun is melting into the ocean
Painting an orange glow across the horizon
Tropical breezes hold the palms in perpetual sway
The rising tides lap ever closer to our toes

The sand gives underneath our leisurely steps
As we walk hand in hand along this silent beach
Gulls swoop lazily in for a curious look
Satisfied, they fly effortlessly away again

The conversation flows easily, lightly
Smiles and laughter have been our day's companions
My arm slips around your waist and draws you near
Gazing into your soft green eyes as the golden sun sets behind us

We ascend the weathered stairs as the night falls
The ancient door creaks open with little resistance
Old, long abandoned, this candle on the shore
Its brightness never again to sweep the horizon

I spread our pallet across the wooden planks
And lie there with you, our bodies entwined
I hold you close, lost again in your eyes
As you sweetly press your soft lips to mine

The flickering candles soft glow dances on the walls
As the night blows its breath in gentle breeze
Those gentle embraces and soft kisses
Have exploded into furious, unbridled passion

Your pleasured releases wash over you
Cresting as quickly and strongly as the tide
Your red tipped toes curl and quiver
As your fingers grip and tug at my hair

I caress your silken body, so soft
Clad only in the candles sultry light
Again our eyes lock gaze, unable to turn away
As our bodies sway and rock to our own rhythm

Pleasure's Power overwhelms us both
A vibrant explosion of colors only we can see
Bathing the room with its intensely warm glow
Surely as bright as the beacon above us

In my arms, M'Lady now lies
Safe, secure, giving me comfort
We savor this night, every fleeting moment
For with the new day's sun comes the sorrow of our parting.

That's That

The Sun is on my horizon approaching this brand new day.
Ripples in the sea shatter my shimmering ultra-violet light.
Birds sing in the air and many more are on this same flight.
Rising high, the Sun makes rounds in its sweet special way.

Puffy white clouds are on the trail until they begin to stray.
Blue skies follow suite running off the wet darkened night.
Green grassy grounds are visions of a true God given sight.
Branches of trees wave at the Sun as if bitterly bent or fray.

Rising with the Sun and busy as a bee,
Up and on it I always rise just to shine!
It is all amazing just like being me!
That’s that and poof I’m all in line!

No really, I am telling you that’s that!
Now honestly who are you looking at?

The Earth Eclipsing The Sun Again

love is such a curious thing the pitter-patter of the morning rain the earth eclipsing the sun again a flourish of brass horns and coronets a baby nursing from mother's breast the winds blowing from east to west a red kite uplifted from summer's breeze or just a dozen blue roses at best yes the earth eclipsing the sun again

Time For Lovers

Time is with us
As our hearts unite and our souls become one
Time is right now
As I reach for you and touch my palm against your brow
With my heart I do see all that I want us to be
And maybe love will come shining down on me

As the sun warms our eyes, and the snow cools our skin
Oh the soft gentle bend of the combined
Does blow my mind
There’s no more time
Or the sticking, tricking shadows that crawl upon our face
Erase, erase

Time is with me
As I walk with you for all eternity
Time is still to come,
As we journey far into what has just begun
With my heart I do know how much more we have to grow
And maybe our love is all we’ll have to show

As the sun warms our eyes, and the snow cools our skin
Oh the soft gentle bend of the combined
Does blow my mind
There’s no more time
Or the sticking, tricking shadows that crawl upon our face
Erase, erase

Time does not conceive what you truly mean to me
Time can not feel
The warm intoxication that you give to me
As our bodies collide with the sea
Time will not last if we run too hard or too fast
Just hold my hand and you’ll be ok, and with me time will never come our way
We will escape the time

The team is still the only one in the league the right fielder is insane he sweats

was to twist his hand to catch a fly. His cap needs a new advisor the bill is long
over his nose the sun has made him sweat in clothes made for the game just for
the game and they are ruined from his play. OFF white and Blue the logo of his

like unto the Devil if he's real the man says things
You can slide but you cannot hide
You cannot catch a ball if it's in the sun
You cannot throw it all the way to second base
Right fielder pauses and he blows his nose and cry comes unbidden to his eye
he throws a look of some concern at this Devil come to haunt the game. Slide
into the second base and when he comes a run you gotta spike him with them
shoes your daddy bought for you. The next time you aer up at bat just hit the ball

Shadows

It’s hot! The sun is beaming.
Touching whatever is in sight,
Shining its rays on everything but the shade.
We are walking towards each other, heavily into our thoughts.
Our shadows are with us, avoiding the sun.
As we stop and stare at one another, the shade that walks with us touch and greet.
They become intimate, and as we watch, we take notes.
It’s as if they become one.
We can’t tell one from the other, but they have this cool calm about them.
There is this peacefulness that chills the area they occupy.
We observe them with a focus like no other, to capture the understanding of this moment
between them.
They teach us without words, and we study them with eagerness.
They continue to fondle each other until our bodies give the signal to separate.
As we part they lengthen themselves to kiss, and vanish as the sun hides in a cloud.

boy meets girl

scary faces in the sidewalk
staring at the ground
scarecrow me in the store window reflection

here at the bus stop waiting for the sun to rise
it's been a long night

me and my head friends been all around town staring at the pretty women
hey lady what's your name...you're really beautiful
she says her name's Diamond

My mind friends tell me she is the one
I never understood what the "one" meant
I'm young...and apparently stupid...just what I'm told

I open my eyes and Diamond's still there at the bus stop...still in the moment
She smiled
Is she interested? I think so.

Hi Diamond,I'm Kalonji...have you ever seen the sun at night?

THIS FAIR QUEEN

This fair Queen
rides in soft golden light
Only at twilight,to be seen
Golden hair catches the sun
This fair queen on the run

With rippling emerald shawl,
this fair Queen rides in golden glow.
Only the faithful know it so
For, the faithful know it all

This fair Queen loves her folk,
her smile, like the sun
Intoxicating fun,
the fair Queen can invoke

This emerald green
disappears in to the night.
Not to be seen,
golden hair,
golden delight,
rides far in to twilight.

This fair Queen,
bejewelled in green
Golden hair,
the like, never seen

This ethereal Queen
in gold and green
Seen by the few
Those who believe it true

This magical time
betwixt day and night
The clock does chime
This fair queen
must ride with all her might.

To go after sundown
This fair Queen
will lose her crown,
willl never be seen

For the kingdom of twilight
the fair Queen rules all
Bejewelled in green
Golden hair ,so bright
The dying of golden sun
Her work is done

This fair Queen will disappear
at the dipping of the sun
Bejewelled in green
Only to be seen
on a snow white horse, on the run
When the clock does chime,
at twilight time

Golden whisper at dusk,
fleeting flash of emerald green
Scent of honeysuckle musk
This golden Queen
can only be seen,
by the faithful few
Who know it is true

This soft chuckle of delight,
heard only at twilight
Tis my Queen
That can only be seen
in soft golden light

Reality in the Windows

Shadows blend, a reflextion of a window in the same.
What is real?
Which way shall I walk to gaze?
The window being shut up tight there is no breeze.
Stillness, thought, oh where will I go?
Where will I be? Where?

If my choice be ill can go back?
Can I return to the place I was,and deside again?
Can I then go the right way?
Or will the abyss swallow me and will I sufficate in its image?

Will I only be a shadow also,
or maybe a reflextion to confuse?
Or will I remain real in its fakeness?

Wait ...watch...in time the true way may be exposed.
For shadows move and reflections change,
directed by the sun.
But truth will remain as it is.

Seady... hurry not... when observing the truth you will know where to trun.
You can open the real window and take a deep living breath,
and gaze at the wonders to dream.
You will know where you are and make your dreams real.
Wait...observe.. .know the sun and who controls the sun will not let you down.

Alas, relentless, your turn fails you.
You avoid the truth.
Is it possible you don't care to breathe?
Is it not wishing to gaze?
Is longing to feel what is'nt really your goal?
Or do you dare to explore?
Anticipating a new place excites.
Not knowing if you can ever trurn back.

Brave... ingnorant... stupid...cowardly...young...old...addicted...
What can it be?
Who can say what it is?
Surely safety is far.

Is becoming a reflection, a shadow, a new relm, what you need?
For your turn may set you in a place you don't belong.
For your own shadow and your own reflection,
will be the other way, the opposite.
And the relm will melt into reality.
Into the window of the true gaze.
The one with an occassional breeze when open.

Can you go there now?
I don't know, you can try if you lke?
But maybe being real is not your desire.
Oh but you may take the wrong turn again.

Move slowly please.
Hence the glass you charge may crash down
and devour your rebellious spirt .

You see and hear no more.
You feel no breeze.

Acceptance

As the rooster crows with vigor, I wonder was it on a morning like this that he arose from
that cave tomb? A morning like this where the angel touched down? Peter as you heard the
roosters that morn after you had wept in disbelief of the weakness within yourself, the brave
soul that would die with him, protect him, but then in horror at yourself you coiled as the
third denial left your lips and Jesus looked at you_____How may times and how many ways,
how many days do my action and thoughts deny my love, dedication, high calling...So many
that I can't number them. As the sun rises on the distant horizon and mist rises from the
earth especially on the creek, does the stink of the sins of humankind float upward to your
home in the third heaven?? No, for they are covered by his shed blood____Acceptance is all
that is needed and turning around__repentence..Now the sun with a blaze rises that fire ball
that now has turned orange__vibrant orange__Heat for the day will wilt my Spirit but now in
this present moment it is wonderful ___The feeling of God's love.....

Dreadlocks

Friday, October 23, 2009

Most unusual clouds this morning
They look like dreadlocks turned
Gray with streaks of red and pink

Certainly a sky blue sky where
There are no clouds
I see this as beauty but no one

Told me it is beautiful so who is
Observing this scene through my
Eyes saying this is beauty

There is an order to everything
Flowers have certain number
Of petals with leaves arranged

The human eye sees the order
The eye says this is beauty
Who made these so that they see

The ball of sun is showing
Radiating it's glow on the scene
Seen only through the trees

That are silhouetted but not
Totally black just dark
Outlines with sun peeking

Roosters greet the day
With their cock-a-doodle-do
How are you?

Responsiblility calls
Thank you for this time
To commune with God

To the Edge of the World (The Song of Navriss pt.2)

Like a vulture, he came to my hometown,
To my hometown.
Just a little boy, I watched him
Knock upon the old wooden door,
To the old man’s house,
The old grizzled Moor.

In silence, the man in black fled down the old road,
Beside him running silent,
Was the grizzled old Moor.
Behind the two upon a horse,
I rode through the cold.
Through the charred hills,
Beyond mountains old.

We travelled through lands, where the sun feared to tread,
And the midnight sun filled my heart with dread.
Still the two, upon dark gossamer wings,
Led me back into the sun,
But it would be many years
Before our journey was finally done.

Hey you, with the chill in your bones
	Come gather round . . .
	Pull yourself up closely
Warm yourself by the fire . . .
	Can you feel it?

Seasons changed
While the years sailed on by
Still we went on,
Forever on, and on.
Beneath a sun and moon
Trading places in the sky.
Beyond seas so vast,
So cold.
Until at last we came,

To the edge of the world,
Where a man now grown up
Can touch the stars.
I stood upon the edge of the place,
The place they go, their world.
Which is cold, sometimes hot
Beyond the edge of the world.

With my cloak wrapped tightly around me
I followed the man in black,
Yet behind the old Moor
Into the heart of a darkened land
Where souls yearn to be free.
And my eyes opened wide,
So eager to see what I might find.

Hey you, with the chill in your bones
	Come gather round . . .
	Pull yourself up closely
Warm yourself by the fire . . .
	Can you feel it?

Bright coin in my hand,
‘Twas this I gave to the dead ferryman.
Over black mirrored water,
Silently we sailed over the Sea of Styx.
Little more than my shadow
I studied the black-dressed man,
Just as he studied the souls beneath the waves,
A spiralling helix.

Upon the far shore
Minos sat upon a throne of bone
With his host of the damned,
For the grizzled old Moor
Minos passed judgement severe,
Yet unto black naught was said nor done,
Yet unto me was passed
The cruellest judgement.

I cried for all to hear,
“I am alive! Alive.”
But Minos sat back and smiled
And said, “Oh woe to yea curiosity unfed,
You who had followed black while still very much alive
Shall walk eternity through the footsteps of the dead.”

I pray you heed me well,
For we are the spirits of regret,
	The souls of the Forgotten
And we are the ghosts of . . .
	Sorrow . . .

And so I sit,
Beneath the muted stars,
On the edge of the world . . .

Treasure Hunt

You were here such a long time ago.
I knew you not nor did I have a clue.
I was just a silly giggly little fool.
Days passed by until the Sun set too low.
So I memorized the Stars at night watching them glow.
I’d swear I’d never have believed you much less knew.

Until, I went back into the past and chased the future ahead.
That’s when I saw the trails and the paths lain from before.
Some were laid in gold, others silver, even diamonds and lead.
The Sun struck down on them and they shined even more.
It was obvious by the color of branches in the trees that were dead.
I could taste the honeydew trickling down my lips feeling my heart of hearts.
I chased the birds and plucked a feather of a white dove just for you.
I ran along the Sea shores and the Oceans belched a many a roar.
Salt on my lips and free with the wind I knew I wanted more.
The Moons beams shined down on me so I followed the shore.

I found seashells and rocks of all kinds and saved them all.
I even cleaned them up and gave names to a few too small.
The Stars began twinkling brighter here and there.
I watched them naming a few and one I made mine.
Then I found the Mountains and how tough they fair.
I rock climbed the highest ones and drew myself a line.

I saw the snow fall and watched it melt.
I just can not tell you in words how that felt.
I ran through the fields and the prairies took my breath.
I was alive inside just feeling my best, there was no death.

The rains came pouring down watering the splendor grass.
Thunders and lighting's all came in a great big flash.
I’m alive inside and just feeling great.
Passing through time I can never be late.

On plated trails of past, present and future I am so alive.
It’s a treasure hunt of buried beauties buried deep inside.
And each vibrantly strives simply to thrive.
And each one seeks where you hide.

June-uary

june-uary
where we still have to
cover up our little dairy airys

can't open the windows
for in fear of it still may snow

but it did reach ninety eight in may
but soon how it went away

now nights reaching for that extra blanket
as temputures hits the low double digits

waking up to morning dew
butterflies can't and won't even land and chew

clouds of mattered grey
just won't let the sun come out to play

just raindrops tapping on my window
as the fury wind whips and blows

cotton balls fluttering thru the air
hearing aw choo's everywhere

not sure if the sun will ever shine
or if the temputures will get out of their binds

for I know july is right around the corner
and I want to be able to celebrate with other horner's

so june-uary please turn your other cheek
and return our sun for which we seek

That's That!

The Sun is on the horizon approaching this brand new day,
Ripples in the water and they shimmer incredibly bright,
A bird sings in the air and many more are on the same flight!
Rising high the Sun makes its rounds in a very special way.

Puffy white clouds are on the trail until they begin to stray.
Blue skies follow suite running off the darkened night.
Green grassy grounds are visions of a true God given sight.
Branches of trees wave at the Sun as if they want to play.

Rising with the Sun and busy as a bee,
Rise and shine!
It’s amazing just like me!
That’s that and it’s all in line!

That’s that!
And newer days we are all looking at!

Incomplete Sights of Color

Arrows the thorn.
Break the spoon.
Morning your coffee.
Drink wine.
Design crime.
Hearts sun a blur.

Webs of dance.
Out of focus.
Eyes wide open.
Dead from the shallow grave.

Reborn God's years.
Fresh breath saved.
The end.
When?
Does shoes walk alone
no feet to guide and lead
you home.

Moon sky gray from nature's rain.
Belly sweet laughter embraced
the cloud.
Black sun tickled the earth's
pain.
Sunlight faced a reflection
from the past.
Burned incomplete.

If We Chase the Sun

Who shall chase
The golden sun with
Tall prairie grass
In our hands,
We chased the sun away,
As the round yellow star
Cheeks blush red, and
We hide behind
The gray-blue clouds
We lost our breath away
We gasped for air
Without despair
This shall be done
If, we chase the sun

Fears Height

Morning sun beats through a car window
A dreadful scream pierces flat silence
Penetrates my core with its violence
Wanton provocation sits in limbo

The wholesome effects of a victims fears
Alarming concern ravished my being
Couldn’t believe what I stood seeing
Insidiously justified as horror leers

A reckless behavior takes control
His figure lurking in the bushes
Victim sees a chance and pushes
Ravenous scum of misery and dole

She runs to the side of my backyard
Terrified as she flails and screams
He follows the fence under the beams
Swinging with vengeance, she strikes him hard

She found a shovel against my home
Knowing the rapist needed to die
Seeming renewed, she looked to the sky
Reaping his death as the sun still shone

The Night of the Moon

It's the night of the moon
and though it's not in my sight.
The magic will be here soon.
The full moon takes the stage tonight.

I feel as low as the tide.
The dark clouds set the tone.
Watching waves and sand collide.
I walk the beach all alone.

The clouds are fighting the sun.
They can't keep the bright light behind.
Sunset and beauty become one.
Doubt and hope crowd my mind.

Brilliant hues of orange,pink,and red
contrasting with clouds dark and gray
The sun paints a picture before bed
and then takes the painting away.

Splashing way out there in the sea.
Winking stars playfully laughing out loud.
I wonder,how this can be?
The night wont carry a cloud.

Where have all the clouds gone?
They've been plucked out of the sky.
The battle with the sun was been won.
I question not how, only why?

There's a bright glow in the west.
The curtain goes up for the show.
Dancing lights on the water are next.
Slowly rising the moon seems to grow.

Sometimes it's such a spiritual thing.
When nature reveals what it can truly do.
I can almost hear this moon sing.
So extravagant, it must be alive too.

My memory goes back to a time.
When the moon stole the show like this.
I was with a girl that was so fine
and remembered that, that night we kissed.

But my memories are what had me down.
I can't remember too many good.
There was the clouds at sundown
and suddenly I understood.

If I only kept good thoughts in my minds eye
and make all the bad ones just finish.
Maybe then my thoughts wont seem to magnify
what my memory can't seem to diminish.

Out with the bad thoughts in with the new.
I'll fill my head with good memories only.
But it seems that there are so few
that my thoughts might just get lonely.

That makes a smile come to my lips
and I wonder, did I just laugh out loud?
I watch enchanted as the moon slips
across the sky without a cloud.

My mood has changed I realize.
I knew I felt that pull.
Now I know hope never dies.
Hope lives in a moon this full.

The Middle of Nowhere

The clouds overhead linger and the wind blows through my hair,
I constantly wonder how can I be amazed in such a place that is in the middle of
nowhere.

I love the smell of the newly cut grass and I love the sight of the sun rising,
Watching the sun rise in the morning can be hypnotizing.

The golden yellow in the sky shines down on my face,
Taking me to an exotic place filled with life in all it's grace.

I close my eyes and listen out but I don't hear a single sound,
The wind blowing against me makes me feel as if I am 100 feet off the ground.

Soaring through the air like an eagle or a plane,
Looking down at all the animals and my horses with flowing manes.

I open my eyes to see that I am still a country girl,
A country girl living in a country girl's world.

The end of the day is drawing near and the sun is about to set,
But just because the sun sets doesn't mean the day is over yet.

So I go inside and look out my window and stare at the moon up in the sky,
The stars shining around the moon sparkles in my eyes.

A light rain starts to fall and began to tap against my window,
I climbed into my bed and became comfortable with my quilt and pillow.

Oh' how I love this place, this wonderful place
The place where my life goes on,
The place in the middle of nowhere the place that I call home.

Forgive

Forgive the sun that didn't shine,
The sky had asked her in to dine.

Forgive the stars that heard your wish,
The moon prepared their favorite dish.

Forgive the rain for its attack,
The clouds have tears they can't hold back.

Don't hate the birds 'cause they are free,
Don't envy all the things they see.

Don't block the wind, but hear its cry,
Or else that wind may pass you by.

Forgive the storm it means no harm,
Could not resist showing its charm.

Forgive the earth that never turns,
Don't hate the sun, because too much burns.

Life intends to not cause pain,
The flowers bloom from all the rain.

The storm will come and it will pass,
The sun that shines, it grows the grass.

The wind it cannot help but cry,
The stars at night light up the sky.

Forgive the world in which we live,
We'll all find peace if we forgive.

I Have Seen a New DAWN

I awoke this morning, before Dawns early light; the Sunshine still slept.
I took my coffee cup, out on the porch, and for “Lenore” I Finally wept.
The pain, the agony, years of grief: rolled down my cheeks: My Soul’s Relief.
A single ray of sunshine over the majestic purple mountains peak, peeks.
Out of this single ray of light, my Heartbeat; my Soul “ LENORE “ speaks.

“ My Dearest and Only Beloved ; I’m sorry I left, upon our Everlasting Day.
I’ll sing to you My final Poem, before OUR Heavenly Father; bids Me to stay
I remember every Rhyme, YOU wrote For ME : Lets memorize each TIME.
GOD grants US togetherness : “ LENORE, Lets make this HOUR, OURS.
LENORE and I shared Memories, OUR POETRY : many of OUR HOURS

As I came back, from this Adventure, the morning Sun was smiling at ME.
Atop the Mighty Purple Mountain he had climbed ; I was not There to SEE.
With eyes now wider opened, I watch the warmth of the SUN racing at ME.
I feel the wind the warmth flies in on, Flowing through my Grey White Beard
I Smell the flowers growing; I see the mighty OAK Limbs wave; WEIRD.

I must Retrain my senses; To see, hear, feel : TO WRITE!! My FRIENDS
Relearn the Basic laws of Truth and LIFE and LOVE and FEELING.
Must Retrain my hands to write of The Beauty of Mother Earth! My FAMILY
I have to Study very Hard, my Contemporaries , to quicken the HEALING.
Then I can Write, to the ones I love; They teach me Everything THE POETS

THE SOUTH WIND PRINCE

Soft golden hair,
the wind, so fine
The sun does always shine,
on a Prince, so fine

Soft blow ,
through cupped hands
The warm wind,
spreads it's light
through the lands

The Prince of the South Wind............
The crown ,like the sun
Gold and bright,
lives in South land light

Warm and light so,
The Faeries did follow.........
Bathed the Prince,
in golden glow

He walked on through ,
the walled garden too
Passed the sundial,
to the Great Hall
To see the Tapestries........
To sit a while.............

The sun shone
on the Great Hall
Golden light did fall
on the Princes's hair
The wind ,so fair

The Faerie tapestry
especially welcoming
Tiny glowing lights found
On the Princes's crown

The Prince had great love inside
for, within the castle wall
What he loved most of all
The Flower Princess
Whom he wanted as his bride

For the wind,
warm and light
Flowers on a breeze
Such colour,so bright
The scent,
a delight

Night Meets Day

The moon sinks
Below the evening trees
The sun rises
Above the morning horizon

Stars dot the rims
Of earth's face
Clouds paint the paper
Of sky's canvas

The moonlit night
Plans a new meeting
With the sun of days
As the sky turns dark

As the moonlight
Is splashed with
The sun's light
It turns rose red

Love's crystal light
Dances upon us
As we are in
Our midnight embrace

Along with the
Moon and sun
The stars and clouds
Bring their meeting

And as we kiss
The clouds roll in
The stars dot the clouds
Bringing love's dusk

Simply Summer

Shining sun searing, sizzling, my scorched skin.
Summer summons suddenly, stories set sometime ago
Stories shaped so astonishingly, some say shadowy specter
Silently satisfied I sit, savoring seasoned story-tellers
Steadily speaking so sweet.
Soliciting salacious, sarcastic stories
Some stories sassily satirical.
Searing sun, scorching, smoldering our unshielded skin
Summer sings syrupy songs, songs so sweet soundingly
Symphonic
Smooth, symbolic, and surreal.
Summer sun setting silently
Setting silently summer stars...

VERSES AND RHYMES

The sun comes up, the sun goes down-
The moon always follows-round and round,
A girl comes out the door homeward bound,
So walking to her car she is found.

I've always wanted to make a rhyme,
Where the right word came all of the time,
With this silly ditty, I'll bet you a dime
That everything I wanted turns out fine.

I've always loved a lovely verse-
Ever since I became a nurse,
And all of my patients loved to hear
All of my caring words of cheer.

When patients are sick and lay dying-
Their families stand around crying,
All they ever wanted to hear,
Were words of courage and good cheer.

And now I am seventy and four,
No more do I have to do these chores,
But I'll be making verses and rhymes,
Until I'm at the end of my time.

 Exploring a Mystery!

Your smile
Brings the warmth of the sun to my heart
When we are apart
It is you I think of in blissful memory
for the rest of my days.

Your hair unfurled
In golden locks of glorious disarray
As the sun shines upon you.

Your eyes inviting
As we frolic near the water stream
Nearer you come to me
Beaming
Shining
Your beauty Blinding
Blinding you may be I cannot help but be
Hypnotized by your captivating beauty
I must have you...My heart pounds like a
drum. Happines has entered my life.

Little Conversations

A running conversation stood catching it's breath
on the hill of decision, on the day of it's death
In an effort to stop the inevitable flow
of the moon in it's belly on a mission to grow
It stepped to the edge of the hill and transpired
with verbiage gone ancient and aching for fire
It stood up on tiptoes and opened it's mouth
to let the sun in, or to let the moon out
This running conversation was made up of air
and moods of the moment and bent silver hair
which reflected the sun in an effort to stir
all the things that it loved while he motioned to her
It took a look down to the Pool of Dissolve
and felt the earth shimmer within it's revolve
In an effort to keep conversation alive
it trampolined toes into a swan dive.

Daydreaming

Big red buckets and yellow elephants
Standing on mice wearing pink flared pants
Oil filled puddles of many rainbow hews
And crocodile upholstered chapel pews

Armies of platform shoe wearing dogs
Wearing wigs made from living frogs
Thick carpets made of real living fur
That when walked on emits a soft purr

Deep swimming pools of strawberry jelly
Hand painted sandals by Botticelli
Gold plated gloves and silver shoes
Invisible paper for reading the news

Custard foot spas and florescent trees
Serviced by an army of giant bees
Giant bales of pink sugar-candy hay
Drenched in a honey flavoured sun ray

Glow in the dark butlers and purple maids
Liquorice flavoured garden sun shades
World domination through sensuous massage
A herd of wild hippos kept in the garage

My day dreams contain the silly and daft
Strange thing blow through on every draft
My mind is cluttered with harebrained schemes
But every single one of them sparkles and gleams

Waves and Whispers

We huddle over the mass of our treasures
with stinging skin and salt ringed hair
while holding a washed blue sea star shining
we whisper with bittering breath on the tide
The waves peel thus and entice us to dig
with backs holding skies and the sun raging noon
while fingers break open in white salty clean
we meticulously scan the horizon for change
We stop when their fins slice the water in arcs
with hands shielding eyes and our lips flooding smiles
while standing like beacons with roots on the land
we wonder if dolphin eyes strain to see us
The moment they pass we are back hard at work
with bellies of hunger and cotton tongued thirst
while feeling the sun on our skin to take home
we whisper that this is the time of our lives.

cold black skies

broken moons and shattered stars
dark cold days no more sunshine rays
days and nights pass by so fast staring threw my looking glass
cold dark nights leak acid rain theres no more sun just all this pain
loneliness is all i have gained
the days are hot but there is no sun feeling like the darkness has won
black dark eyes without a care a dark cold heart with so much dispare
frozen lakes rivers too the ski is no longer blue
the sun don't shine the birds wont sing
a fallen angel with a broken wing
make the sun shine so bright
bring back the stars that make the night
sing me a song with so much love
open my heart to the light above
fly for me and be my star
please look after me where ever you are
be my sun that lights my path
be my moon that lights the night ski
be the wind that passes me by
so please no more broken moons and shattered stars
no more feelings of emptiness inside
its only the wind passing me by.

Flame & Shadow

If i were a flame
what color would i burn
the sun is white & yellow-bright
could i be the same
a candle lit burns red in silent vigil
would my light embrace this purity
or blue & burn in fury would i be
or toxic green with no shame
like venom in a blaze
the sun is white & yellow-bright
could i be the same
would my fire change
when i chanced to hear your name
reflect my heart amongst the flames

WAS A TIME...

Was a time..
When love was all true
Gentleness too

A red sighing sun
Sinking below
The depths of my heart
The day is done

Was a time..
you felt it too
in the depths of my heart
Emotion too

A star,
faded blue
Replaced a red sighing sun
Flickering fire
You knew it too

Stars and suns,
fade away
Night and day
Love endures
Gentleness too

You are my sun
You are my star
My flickering fire
Gentle light
Gentle night
The day is done

Our Thirst is Strong

When shades of night are drawn to close
As the sun descends to darken the way
I am awakened, no more in repose
For I slept through each sun shined day

I dreamed of when my eyes would open
And too, of the hour, when we would meet
To then fly from here, my hidden coffin
To taste of you, my love, my sweet

This vampire loves his mortal mate
I have nothing but time to wait, so I wait

As our lover’s moon then so ascends
We’ll meet there by the garden gate
With feelings strong, dare not pretend
I’ll wait for you, do not be late

The scent of you, I smell for miles
The taste of you, my love, is rare
As every thought of you, inspires smiles
For I, I fall victim to your stare

So true, you make this vampire weak
But, for love my dear, t’is you I seek

Life's Femininity

The leaves falling green
Couple the wind as they
Tumble by.
Dust rises and fall
With the whistle of the lips of
Branches in trees
And stand amazed.

The sun shining bright
Permeates the flight of migrating birds
Their wings flap in perfect harmony.
They sing the song of a new day.
At the sight of you,
I hold my head to the rhythm
Of cars passing so to catch a glimpse of you.

Radiant as the sun
You come
Sweeping by;
Rays of light touch your glory,
And the sun comes shining
Through.

As you move to the rhythm
Of the folding grass
Beneath your feet,
And touch the meadows dew

The leaves fall against
The rhythm of the trees
As they bow to your
Anticipation.

In The Wee Hours

In the wee hours of the night
I sit in my little corner nook
Looking out my window
Pane…
Loneliness engulf me while
I sit all along in solitude
In my own little corner
Nook..
Vex by sleepless nights
Mind idling with wild
Thoughts...
Running through my head
As I wait for the dawning
Maybe than my thoughts
Will make sense..
Maybe I want feel so
Desperate and along
Maybe my imagination
Will bring sun….
Brighten my mind to
Enlighten my soul,
In the wee hours of the night
I sit in my little corner nook
Looking out my window
Pane…
While the silhouettes of the
Night shadows…
Brush against my window
Pane..
Making creeping, ghastly
Noises,
But the dawn will soon arrive
While the light spread..
Like the shadow in the
      Night…
The sun will defy the darkness
As the sun will prevail..
For the dawning of the day
Will shine..
Until the moon rise over
The horizon...

Bus Sun Tran

Bus Sun Tran
As i was waiting for the bus
i soon discovered
the bus comes when it wants to
not when i want a bus
it is under the drivers rule not mine
i can never call it quickly
but i soon discover
that i am a salmon swimming upstream
leaning to the upper water to catch
the warmth of the sun
avoiding capture
as i swim in the river
the bear tries to paw me
up and out of the river
into its waiting Jaws
all aboard

DAYS END

Hot thermal envelopes me ,
pushing me higher
Shards of light
splinter over my wings

Dusty haze
Earthy smell

Temperature dropping ,as I climb higher
Sky darkens
Pure sweet air
Pure sweet sunlight

Wind buffets my body
I turn in to the light

Blazing golden light ,
far on the horizon

Sun setting in blur of dust
Sky,fresh and clear

Me,released from earthly ties
The gentle dying sun
Its' outstretched hand covering me ,
with soft red and golden light

Changing me

Sky darkening, I must descend
My flight is finishing ,
ending in fading light

In to the dust ,
leaving my kingdom,my place

Sadness at end of light
Darkness falls, I am earth bound
for a time ...

I wait patiently for dawn ...
dawns fresh glow ,
to warm my cold stiff wings

Breathe its life in to me
Pouring its liquid gold in to me
Giving me instinct to to climb ,
to that sun

To fly in such bright wondrous light
Light holding me to its breast

A sparkling golden jewel ,
flashing its fire in to my eyes
as I leave this dusty earth
and pursue rarified air and clear light

In uninterrupted flight

Sun Starved

Sunshine on lips which have starved for a drop
of attention from forces impenetrably hot
Holding the hand of invention's conception
having cracked open the moon late last night
Eating the shell was a task of elation
Belly filled full with a thought born of mirrors
The moon on the inside was frozen, congealed
filled with inedible, silver holed dreams
Buoyancy stretched out it's hand to deliver
frost on the lips born to shake and to shiver
Moon shell reflective and only the image
of sun drops imbedded in all that's alive
Now, on the day after lunar consumption,
the yearning for solar shelled rejuvenation
eclipses all thoughts bent on birth or starvation
to lean toward the sun for new growth.

LAST LIGHT

Last light,
falling
Sky on fire
Shadowy spire
My heart calling

My heart,
the colour of the sun

My heart given to you,
at last light
The colour red,
last light sunset
Come to bed

My heart ,
the colour of the sun

The colour red,
falling
Radiating on our bed,
my heart,....... calling

My heart,
the colour of the sun

Last light,
falling
The sky on fire,
my heart calling
My desire,
I give you the night

My heart,
the colour of the sun

My heart given to you...........
at last light
This magnificent view
The colour red
Colour sunset
Night,
the colour jet

Summer Fun

The sun ascended on the eastern shore as Tommy awakened to the day.
With eyes now opened, he jumped from his bed, excited.
He remembered, it’s the first day of summer vacation.
He is not about to waste the day lying around,
He would be off right after breakfast.
He grabbed his lunch he made the night before
So not to waste more time and ran from the yard
Even before the door slammed shut.
He met up with his friends at the ball field,
But to his dismay, older kids already made claim.
So, in a chair he waited, watched and napped.
His eyes opened again later that morning to a lunchtime sun.
He quickly ate down his lunch
and ran to the fishing hole to meet up with others.
There, he planted his pole by his side, with hopes of catching the big one.
So, in a chair he waited, watched and napped.
His eyes opened later to the late afternoon sun.
He quickly went and got his bike and rode to the five and dime.
There, he met some friends
And together, they taunted the passers-by.
He felt the evening sun descend and knew he should leave.
Heading he couldn’t help but feel how great summer is,
No cares in the world, a day of whatever, each day.
Tommy arrived for dinner with a smile on his face.
When he was asked what he had done
His reply was with glee and he said “just about everything”.

WHAT IT MEANS.....

The sun dipped low....
On a horizon tinged with gold and red
The sea calm
Such things transient so

When you become aware...
What counts....
Is the things you share

It takes time....
To understand...
To appreciate a single day..
A sunset...
Golden sand
A chosen moment
Heaven sent

A flock of birds flew overhead,
on a horizon tinged with gold and red
One day...
You will understand
What is means.....
To me....
What needs to be said

All these things you can hold,
in your heart
On a stormy day
On a horizon tinged with red and gold
The reflected beauty within,
is constant so
The sea, calm
Such things ...
Transient though

The sun dipped low
Hid behind a darkened sea
These things I hold...
Inside of me
With you....
What it means.....
To me..
I hold deep so

PARADISE

Cool water lapping at the edge of white sand,
You,
holding my hand

Warmth of sun,
warmth of hand,
Warmth of love,
Warmth of sand

No one for miles,
wearing nothing,
but our smiles

Footprints in sand,
none but our own,
walking along the shore,
we know what it is all for

Hand in hand,
walking on sun bleached sand,
no words we can say,
on the beach of eternal play

For, no words are needed,
our thoughts,words are as one.
You and I under golden sun,
hand in hand
on sun bleached sand

Shade of palm,
you by my side,
serene and calm,
the beach stretched far and wide

Wearing nothing but our smiles,
we can see for miles,
paradise perfect,
crystal clear sea,
blue and green reflect,
the love you have for me

Cool water lapping at edge of white sand
You,
holding my hand

A World To Ponder

As I lay, the world around me alive yet hushed, time rests still to let the mind
catch up with it. A night sky with one sea of clouds and the sun reflecting
monsters created by accident lays still. While these beautiful monsters, in their
size, kill the grass they stand on, their beauty takes away breath from all living
things. Soon the sun will cease to shine on the melancholy above us. The waters
will recede back into the horizon as the sun wakes up to shine on flowers
abroad ‘till it is bored of sitting in these flowers and goes off to explore all the
other wondrous designs once shown in Eden upon soft pedals of gentle, yet
plagued life.
Songs of sorrow come from the ones left in the presence of one
mightier than the sun until the beautiful monster comes again with his deadly
stomp.
Watching, wandering, and wondering, the sun asks, “How is this death so
glorified. Do none wish to grow, or do they confuse north and south?”

The fish calm, the waves roar to the horizon in understanding. As this reality
becomes my fantasy-I live in this world that men before me have created.

Abjection

Abjection
Abjection
People even those of the same race and color can never agree on most anything
at all and that is even to the exclusion of the law and privileges
Afforded unto all we need to make abjection
An addition if you will an order of peace to go
A kamikaze inheritance of the failing mass destruction the A bomb and now they
have a H bomb and mabe they will get a M bomb too
M is for negatron the every many H bomb and clusters of them permeate the
atmosphere of Venus our sister the planet is destroyed like Sodom and
Gomorrah and the planet still revolves around the sun and everyone still gazes
and has fun.
When the orbital velocity of Earth far exceeds the sun than Venus and even MARS
could come undone.
Eye make my new abjection please do not destroy the earth with radiation the
SKY will do a come apart and then the DAY will come the LORD is JESUS
everyone and on THAT day eye want to be a baby sheep and not a ramification of
murder want.
A reconditioned lamb and not a GIANT made of stone. A pause in the plan of
GOD. Abjection overruled.

SHADOW AND LIGHT

Where do you go?
When the shadow
follows you so......

To escape the shadow
Is to have the sun,
high above
Looking down so
Bathed in light
Bathed in love

This darkened figure
follows you so
The sun setting
It grows bigger

Keep the sun high
Sunlight above
Feel the love
Feel the high

This place
Between shadow and light
Dark space
Golden bright

Where do you go?
When the shadow
gets you down so

Step into the light
Where shadow
Cannot go
Enjoy golden bright
This is your right
