Sun Dance

~Sun Dancing~

Bright yellow sparks glisten around the landscape
Sheer environment expose
Warmth slinks down every step
So-- Invigorating
Spur like rays muster in long light
The wolves wait to howl
Soon--Bunch of flowers
Huddle in with sunlit love
Luminous rave

Ghosts of the Sun Dance-Part 1

Ghosts of the Sun Dance

1. The Path

A quest dating back through our history
Surpassing the flesh, a spiritual path
Human endurance, road to mystery
Dark trail winding through the gardens of wrath

It echoes through me, this deep ambition
Half century of miles, lifetime compressed
Much more than a race, a sacred mission
With light of hardship I hope to be blessed

To outsiders, an act of madness pure
What motivations could compel this feat?
Past limits of human strength to endure
Pushing the body well beyond defeat

Mind and sinews outlasting the firestorm
Transcendence, to shed our skin and transform

2. Sun Dance

Transcendence, to shed our skin and transform
Once, Plains Indians embraced the Sun Dance
Sacred solstice ritual to perform
Life’s rebirth to the sound of drums and chants

Young braves fasting in their preparation
A stout pole connects the lodge to the sun
Days of reveling unite the nation
Dancers’ exhaustion, they seek to outrun

Animal spirits drawn in by the rhythm
Forked tree with bison’s skull, hooks in their chest
Buffalo, bringer of potent vision
Delirious dancers complete their quest

The Spirit Quest resounds through history
Beyond mundane, to sacred mystery

3.To Endure and Transcend

Beyond mundane, to sacred mystery
Japan's “Marathon Monks” of Mount Hiei
The key to their spirit quest victory
To walk a Marathon one hundred straight days

Famed spiritual leader Sri Chinmoy
Believed hearts and spirits could be mended
Through self-transcendence, and he did enjoy
Countless long quests before his time ended

Chinmoy’s best, a fifty day epic quest
A journey thirty-one hundred miles long
Few are those who have ever passed this test
His famous Self-Transcendence Marathon

Darkest night, the gateway to a new morn,
Through painful trials, seeker’s soul reborn

4. The Spirit Is Willing

Through painful trials, seeker’s soul reborn
Deepest pain kindling the soul’s ignition
Follow the path supplicants’ feet have worn
Transformation’s crux, soul transition

Our defenses and walls cannot let in
Sacred blessings of the gods and spirits
Impenetrable, much to your chagrin
They cannot touch your heart if you fear it

Mortification, a tribulation
Humble display of the supplicant’s worth
A spiritual emancipation,
Pain always accompanies any birth

These transitions in few modern nations
Our world, rare rites of initiation

5. The Fall

Our world, rare rites of initiation
Deconstructed, traditions have been burned
Soulless life breeds infantilization
Perpetuating the puer eterne

To make our lives easier is progress,
Yet soft life an inadequate mantle
We can also suffer when life lacks stress
True transformation is never gentle

Safety, the goal of civilization
Eliminate risk, its increasing role
Safety’s bitter fruit is stagnation
Comfort cannot forge a resilient soul

Building true human vitality starts
With substance to satisfy questing hearts

6. Aimlessness

With substance to satisfy questing hearts
We dream to build greatness from the humble
Miseducation, meaninglessness start
Intrepid young souls questing for trouble

Drawn to drugs and gangs, tobacco and booze
No deep satisfaction do they contain
Oft mistaken for paying adult dues
But lead instead to spiritual chains

Youthful misadventures, trouble and blues
Sterile environment will generate
Tribal belonging they mark with tattoos
Clumsy efforts to self-initiate

Conquered world without initiations
Life’s road of genuine tribulations

7. Warrior’s Quest

Life’s road of genuine tribulations
Awaits our youth, whether they are prepared
Or not, we note with building frustrations
Future leaders, we see grow up impaired

The warrior within’s heartfelt yearning
A righteous cause in which to do battle
Meanwhile, the subway turnstiles are turning
Young champions doing time as cattle

Quests can be found for the searching young soul
Alas, the focus of education
Not on the development of the whole
But fashioning subjects of this nation

The challenge of living with one’s whole heart
Yielding to those who have mastered the art

Ghosts of the Sun Dance-Part 2

8. Transformation

Yielding to those who have mastered the art
Of grasping one's place in existence's grand scheme
Life’s constant challenges never depart
But humble diligence will grow the dream

In passing from childhood to adulthood
Innocence to responsibility
Firm new role can be grasped and understood
In life, pain’s inevitability

A mother birthing new life through the pain
Dad slowly works his fingers to the bone
Soldiers trudging all night though frigid rain
Bearing remarkable burdens alone

Accomplishing in life what must be done
In this day’s heat or ere the morning run

9. Volta: Race Day

In the day’s heat or ere the morning run
Resolve has hardened in preparation
For this sacred journey under the sun
Through the land of the Navajo nation

Race morning is upon us, we prepare
Patient dawn waits below sharp horizon
Last meals and supplies, shoes and garb we wear
Gather together, our spirits rising

A convocation and tribal blessing
In the solemn shadows of the mesas
Final rituals, tying and dressing
Spirit warriors in garb of racers

The starter’s gun sends our bodies lurching
Footfalls queuing the inward eye’s searching

10. Inward Journey Begins

Footfalls queuing the inward eye’s searching
A harmonious quest will not fail
Meeting the spirit hawk inside perching
Melding feet to the undulating trail

Smooth hand circles driving arms swinging free,
Shoulders relaxed, rotate forward and back,
Trace three-dimensional infinity.
Every sinew not involved, loose and slack.

Countertwist rotation, thrust straight behind
Muscle springs compress, explode, power grows
Whipcrack diamondback wriggles down my spine
Through my circling legs, last snap through the toes.

With focus on moment in longest run
Our life’s greatest challenges can be won

11. Meditation

Our life’s greatest challenges will be won
With the spirit and not by the sinews
At times next to you the Dance’s ghosts run
Other times they can be found within you

Smooth, rolling strides become my rhythm and rhymes
Subtly pick open my heart and mind’s locks
At peace, I'm inured to passage of time
A slack-jawed Buddha floats between the rocks

Sun-baked vermillion cliff, eternity
Spirit of the wild, you are the portal
Stretching out to you, encompassing me
Melt, intertwine, these moments immortal

Fallen angels, my soul is expurging
When the body, mind, and soul are merging

12. Crucible

When the body, mind, and soul are merging
Million drops of agony are the test
Pail overflows, vitality purging
Time spans both horizons, forgotten rest

Flesh hooks of my own Sun Dance dig deeper
Through muscle and bone, draining resistance
Standing face to face with soul’s gatekeeper
Grasping the barest threads of existence

Inside, my withering heart starts to burn
Black crucible over the white-hot flame
Ethereal hands grant me their return
By my side, shadows dance, whisper my name

Body aflame, yet not longer burning
Through sacred quests, our spirits returning

13. Resolution

Through sacred quests, our spirits returning
Wan smile as I reach the final milestone
The line is crossed, strangely without yearning
From the summit, we always return home

The Spirits have won, silently rejoice
Spasming leg muscles announce their first clue
Weary soul may have found its deepest voice
But penitent’s flesh will yet have its due

Dusty column of exhausted racers
Shuffling past hallowed final marker
Sun Dancers’ ghosts fade into the mesas
To echoed drumbeats our spirits harken

Our guides to the Spirit World returning
This modern Sun Dance, an ancient yearning

14. Aftermath

This modern Sun Dance, an ancient yearning
With Spirits’ help, my soul has passed this test
Feet caressed the trail while muscles burning
My abiding need, this challenging quest

This long day ends without ceremony
Racers festooned in laurels internal
The trail run’s own spirituality
Modern Sun Dancers’ reward eternal

While the roads to the summit are many
One means up the mountain for those who seek
Life’s spiritual rigors aplenty
A runner’s path may also find the peak

Deep within us, we need this victory
A quest dating back through our history

15. Ghosts of the Sun Dance

A quest dating back through our history
Transcendence, to shed our skin and transform
Beyond mundane, to sacred mystery
Through painful trials, seeker’s soul is reborn

Our modern world lacks initiations
With substance to satisfy questing hearts
Life’s road of genuine tribulations
Yielding to those who have mastered the art

In this day’s heat or ere the morning run
Footfalls queuing the inward eye’s searching
Our life’s greatest challenges can be won

Sun Dancing

Twirl across the fields
in an adoring frenzy.
Chill is forgotten.
Our feet sing like hummingbirds.
Sun fingers tickle our souls.

Sunrise, Heaven And Nature Conspire

Sunrise, Heaven And Nature Conspire!

At sunrise, when morn breaks into sweet day
Darkness, eases into another far lost realm
Light returns to splendor in its bright way
Sun-ship glowing, celestial giant at the helm!

We that rise up to see this wondrous event
soak in its beauty, holding its glory fast
Our future embraced and our past thus spent
each day's memories and hopes sail at last!

Heaven and Nature conspire to give that gift
hours await to explore life's great dreams
Darkness fled, giving again blessed day shift
full of promises riding magnificent streams!

At sunrise, when morn breaks into its sweet day
Earth gives man more time to love, dance and play!

Robert J. Lindley, mid-70's

Old sonnet, perhaps mid/late 70's.
Had no date on it.. Certainly was at an
optimistic time in my young life.

Kiss the Rain

~*~ To reach out and touch you Feel your warmth on my skin So intangible So surreal As sun sets on pillows And mist laden sorrows The dark windswept willows Now sleep till tomorrow Then come dance again As the sun sets up high And the whispering wind Carries a soft kiss of Spring rain As sun sets on pillows And snow covered mountains The crash of swift rivers Lift fleeting light fountains As dainty droplets fall Sending you sweet kisses Springs soft kiss of rain Come dance again As sun sets on pillows And oceans set motions The sweet songbirds chorus Fills a million emotions To reach out and touch you In Sring soft kisses of rain Come dance again.. ~*~

A Dance in the Clouds

As the sun starts to set
she looks deep into his eyes
Their worlds come together as one
with the softness of just one kiss
Back and forth they start to sway
the only music....the beating of their hearts
Gentle breezes blow through the air
with each breath she breathes
She reveals to him the mysteries of this world
a place she has longed for him to see
The falls steadily flow with constant emotion
as the calm, crystal, waters below are the peace within
Butterflies blanket the fields of wildflowers
as her thoughts are always with him
The sun always shines brightly here
for she has him locked away within her heart
She holds his hands as their lips part
and she reveals to him another thing.......
This dance in the clouds

Angel In A Sundress

The songbirds are singing
It's another sunshine day
A light breeze is blowing
Spring is here to stay

Dressed in a flowered sundress
Underneath the shining rays
Visions dance before me
An angel wants to play

Her skin like the cool of winter
Her hair is the colors of fall
With a voice sweetly singing
I offer her my southern drawl

The lilacs blossom around her
Apple trees tease open their flowers
I watch the angel in the sundress
Spin in my visions for hours

I offer her some sweet tea
To quench her mighty thirst
She readily declined me
For the dance, she was submersed

As the sun went to sleep
The moon offered up its light
My angel kept dancing
With no sundress in sight.

She danced into my arms
All over this country boys heart
I love that angel in a sundress
Forever, Until death do us part

Moon Dance

The waves slide over the shore
Leaving tiny, squiggly trails
The moon and sun battle for the sky
And the big, bright moon prevails.
The beach is shrouded in darkness
Dimmly lit by only one light
That dances through the undertow
Marching its way through the plight.
A stencil of gray laces the sky
Creating a vision of death
Slowly overcoming the shore
'Til it takes its last breath.
The ocean itself which had once held
So much life in its depths
Has become drowned in its own contents
It is meeting its own death.
A storm lashes its way
Solmnly across the sky
To make room for what will unleash
That will cause the very moon to cry.
Dancing and waltzing across the shore,
The moon sadly turns away
She can't bear to see her ocean like this
And witness it going astray.
With one, final, swift motion,
She casts her love out to sea
The love she held deeply for her ocean
The world, and all her countries.
She makes her way back to where she belongs
And lets the sun take over the sky
I didn't, in all my years,
Think I would ever see the moon cry.
But she shed those tears so bravely
And dried them so nonchalant
She turned and made her way back to the sky
Like it was something she could never want.
The moon had lost the battle
And, defeated, began to fade away
Then the sun began to dance, too
To celebrate a brand-new day.

Save A Dance

Spring hastens with praise to gift me blessings
of sunlit stories and passion in beams.
Cold winter winds rise on raven’s bruised wings
circling high above lush valleys of dreams.

The morning skies birth sights of indigo;
then afternoon shines bright in cobalt blue
till late sun dips low tied in sapphire bows.
Lost childhood mirth stills with ebony hues.

Spring days please save me golden strands of light
to reminisce when I am older still.
One more hour of precious rays 'fore night
to drive away the clinging winter chill.

I’ll wish for sky's daystar to save a dance,
then hold me close in warmth of springtime’s trance.

- Thick And Heavy -

The fog lies like a thick blanket over my city
It is gray, damp and heavy to breathe in
Grey and wet ..... gives me a headache
Morning turns to night, without any difference
I have to get the light and the sun back
Neither cat or dog will go out
                                  I've heard about rain dance
Now I would like to take a sun dance
Will you join with me in my dance

Dance Across the Sky

                                                      I

flapping in the wind I live
I say goodbye to the earth free
                               floating, breaking from my string,

Dancing Trees

Rocking and swaying in the breeze Tree branches are dancing with glee Such playful action of the trees So joyous, unfettered and free Leaves are all rustling and sighing With a sound like waves of the sea Like a crescendo that rising And then subsiding gradually Leaves that fell to the grass below Perform their dancing in the air The breeze tosses them to and fro Making the show a grand affair The sun is shining in the sky Bathing everything in its light I'm feeling such a glorious high Gazing at this beautiful sight

Dance

The sun is shining
the flowers blooming
n I am dancing
with the butterflies.

The moon is winking
the stars twinkling
n I am dancing
with the fireflies.

The rain is falling
The fishes swimming
n I am dancing
with the mermaids.

The birds are singing
dawn time's ringing
n I am dancing
with the king's maids.

The sun is shining
the rain is falling
n I am still dancing
on and on.

I am still dancing
on and on.

SUN DANCING

In the blush of sunlight, our flames become a lacquered glow of orb we grasp its shine to frolic in morn's bliss, hands coil as one. In the blush of sunlight, our flames become like promenading rays on winds that hum until twin shadows glide a dance divine. In the blush of sunlight, our flames become a lacquered glow of orb we grasp its shine!

Trip Twist

In the void, sipping the zoid,
with mental properties of tripping on the spiral.
Falling down the tail of lions, awkwardly spinning.
With upside down tunnel vision leaking through.

Solidifying all matter that matters,
melting into the walls of your brain.
It tickles all the raindrops dripping in your eyes,
satisfying your desire of a synchronized pattern.

Bleeding purple from the rainbow,
and turning into swirls of diamonds.
Slipping exuberantly beside you; driving you wild.
Where the shadows stop the spirited scream.

Devour yourself into the omniscient grip.
Icy cold finger tips scratch the surface of your divinity,
bringing you closer to the God who whispered in your unborn ear,
situated in your flesh from birth to death.

It embeds itself in the pupil of your eye,
dancing with your spirit and licking your soul.
Black shapes of madness wrapped in chaos and euphoria.
Twinkling and blinking dust of a cloud.

Haze filled skies and blood filled smoke raining from the clouds.
Envisions of clowns and demons laughing at our demise.
Chilling sensations of sickening mannerisms,
mechanisms and mechanics sought out to destroy the tiny creatures.

These creatures running crazy into acceptance of demise.
Deprived of life, scared of death but giving into it's taste.
Taste buds quiver as the taste grows sweeter.
Death, oh death, tell everyone who you really are...

Too long have you been hidden in the shadows you cast,
too long have we rendered your pain.
The world grows sicker as the hairs in my head grey.
I'll never surrender as demons always circle.

Today, begins a new day of our fight.
And I have a good feeling about this day.
Onward, we have united our minds and gathered ourselves within.
Always ready for we accept our fear.

We accept our hate and everything in between.
Accept it all for what it really is.
No amount of doubts will over throw us.
Onward, to peace.

SUN AND MOON DANCE ballad

THE SUN AND MOON DANCE V Anderson-Throop 2013, June

 A sky-borne swan
 on the wing
I face true North
when it is Spring
Forget sore wings
or broken heart---
I heed a call---
tears me apart

No sweeter sky
that soars the mind---
 when sun and moon
 Dance side by side

North Summer nights---
the white nights call---
there is no time
to fret or stall---
no excuses, no one to blame
in heading North
There is no shame.

=======================
Chorus:
Thru White nights dance
both sun and moon
no lover's parting
Arrives too soon

In icy Spring
 Like Grandma's broom
The white night's sweep
Life into bloom

Midsummer night
Snow-dark has fled
And time has flown
My True Love's bed.

 Over these mountains
Like Grandma's broom
The white night's sweep
Life into bloom--

 Thru White nights dance
both sun and moon
no lover's parting
arrives too soon.

===================
 Hang on tight--
If you dare
Travel light,
for it is far.
Come, Darlin' Love,
No thrill soars past
My white North Nights

imagine time
that never ends---
 bodies entwined---
eternal blend

Summer is lemonade

Summer is a lemonade

Summer breeze blowing the grass around
with a warm sun kissing my face
blue skies wrap and hug me
as I watch the butterflies race.
Summer gives me lazy days
coloured flowers and dancing trees
smell of charcoal and starry nights
brings back childhood memories.
Summer is an endless beach
sun cream, bikinis and beer
salty seaspray, fish and chips
postcards saying "wish you were here".
sunburnt shoulders and fun fares
laughter never seemed to fade
grab the ice and share around
yes Summer is a lemonade

Ocean Dance

Soft sun, dripping through
the trees, landing on
her smiling face.

Waves made of laughter
crashing down in dreams
lost in the cool light.

Gone are the days of
fanciful sights and gold memories.
Now she has seashell thoughts and
ocean air dreams.

Wind and salt against her skin,
soft, crushed powder beneath her tanned feet.
Smelling sea breezes calms her mind.
Melodies that the ocean plays just for her,
making her soul dance.

Acting My Age

“You’re not a giddy teenager
So why can’t you act you’re age?”
I looked at him heartbroken
Then my body shook in a rage

“Being passionate about life
Means I am acting like a child?
You demand that I be demure
Does that mean being meek and mild?

No, no, my dear, I want to shout
I want to be crazy and mad
To stick my head out the window
Belt out love songs that make me glad

I want to let my body move
To a belly dance drumming sound
I want to feel young and alive
Make love without hushing the sound

On days when I water the yard
I want to get wet to the core
As I point the hose to the sky
The wetness makes me crave for more

I want to see my sun catcher
Make the rainbows dance on my wall
And have multicolored sweet dreams
I want to wander through them all

When you take me for a long ride
I’ll let the wind dance with my hair
I want the music to be loud
What if people just stop and stare?

I want to laugh till my sides hurt
And the tears are just streaming down
I want people to be happy
So I play the part of the clown

They say life begins at forty
Now I know that it does for me
Don’t you dare try to bring me down
You know this 'girl' needs to feel free

Peter Pan’s not the only one
Who will stay forever this young
He’s got me for good company
You know, we have songs yet unsung

So…please, if I am eccentric
And acting a little insane
Remember that I’m passionate
So please, I beg you, don’t complain

And when I want to be ravished
Or to play a naughty love game
Don’t say that was for way back then
Don’t you dare try to make me tame

I desire to ingest life
At a mad and frenetic pace
I am desperate to feel the rain
Splashing down on my upturned face

You know that I must be sun kissed
And to spray on coconut spray
To do handstands in seawater
And to bask in this sun drenched day

I want to cry when things move me
I want to feel, to taste, to touch
I want to giggle like a girl
When something does please me so much

I’m sorry I disappoint you
Sorry I don’t act forty five
But before this life is over
I want to feel vibrant…alive!

Yet, I will try not to shame you
Try to tone it down just a bit
But my dear, this fact you must know
In your box, I surely don’t fit

Yes, you may think I’m 'immature'
And I may act much like a teen
But I’d rather be wild and free
Than captive to rules like a queen."

Back to Brazil in My Mind

I go back to Brazil in my mind,
Last outpost of romance,
Rio de Janeiro in my mind,
Dance, Bonita, dance.
Away from the gray
Of a suburban day,
Away from the streets
And the shops,
Away from the delays,
The buses and trains,
I float away to Brazil.
Oh Brazil, in love
With the Garota di Ipanema,
The Song of the Sabia plays,
In a sunny romantic daze in Brazil.

Desert Oasis A Coachella Valley Trilogy

Oasis at noon

What a wonderous quiet place it is
the heart of a palm oasis
skirted trees stand guard about
keeping dusty heat without
holding shaded cool within

a small breeze sneaks past a frond
dancing in ripples across the pond
am I intruder, am I part
I wander and wonder in my heart.
as I penetrate deeper in.

Oasis at sunset

Guardian against sunset
the ancient palm stands
resting in drifting sands

Beneath whispering fronds
cicadas begin to sing
brown bats take wing

Firey clouds, cooling breeze
evening deepens, night decends
Oasis awakens, day ends

Oasis at Dawn

Darkling shadows intertwine
With the sprinklings of the moon
Every night paints a new design
That smooths across like puddled wine
Evaporating just as soon

With pallette of rainbowed hue
The sun splashes the eastern sky
Painting over the shadow's blue
Which however remains in view
Absorbing the more brilliant dye

Racing with the Sun

Identifying as a Taoist-Christian hybrid,
a polypath feasting on root systems
of East meets West
Right greets Left
Yin embraces Yang
does not make me a good Christian
or a good Taoist.

However, these permaculturing designs
on polyculturing polypathic sensory-neural healthy outcomes
do seem to help me become the best
transliterative
transgenderal
transregenerational evolving Taoist-Christian
I can imagine
and care for with gratitude,
peaceful empathic trust
as both sufficiency of political power
with cooperative nutritional economic enrichment practice,
orthodoxy of experiential non-violent unitarian intent.

Yang without Yin,
an angry fire-breathing SunGod
of vengeful omnipotent wrath--
universally frustrated fertility.
Yin without Yang
becomes a whimpering wilting virgin
without hope of ever giving birth
or even experiencing pleasure with integrity
in Her cell-bound reiteratively ruminating purgatory.

But Earth abhors this double-binding vacuum,
absence of healthy prime-binomial abundance
as light not bilateral-square rooted through past and future
fades dual dark.

To become full-bicameral poli-economically humane
is to empathically trust
not only Nature's absence of absent primal
physical/metaphysical
nature/spirit relationship,
but to enrich maturation by fertilizing these primal hybrids,
health as loving life's intention,
yang as yin's bilateral reiteration,
trusted PolyNomials actively evolving co-empathic notnot PolyPaths
until we together emerge through this Great Transition
belonging to and with Earth's Tribes
(0)-sum prickly-goos (Alan Watts)
Convex fractal Concaves (Buckminster Fuller)
universal unitarians (UUA)
ecopolitical revolutionaries of co-empathic trust
that love conquers evil through dipolar absorption
as evil defeats love
through over-yanged monocultural exertion.

Love and co-arising pleasure grow
as long-suffered excesses of mutual immune mistrust give way
to all colors matter
as all octave frequency balances and harmonies materialize resonant experience
more positively meaningful to us than their dissonance,
as all lives and deaths matter,
and not only anthrocentric lives,
not only biocentric lives;
we materialize-incarnate most optimally as ecoconscious lives
and deaths
within Earth's great multicultural co-empathic arias of operation
perpetually revolving ecocentric dance.

It is a monoculturing pace
of human ecopolitical race
suboptimizing historical-cultural distrusts of racism
for our ultimately promised polyculturing peace
waiting within our great transitioning wings.

Dance for love

Dance for love.

You hit my heart like a lightning bolt of love;
I trapped your love inside my heart, forever more.
Because it’s the best I’ve ever head, my magnificent amor
And it’s the best I will ever have; I think, I’m sure.

So the man who can’t dance, does the moonwalk for his wife.
He can’t break dance, but he will do it just to make her smile.
I can’t trip hop, hip hop or even hop scotch,
But I will break my ankle, just for your touch.
I need you to pick me up from the dust,
For you my true love will forever be enough.

Sail with me and tap your feet to the funky beat,
Made by me, like every funky tune inside this mind and body.
If you need me to dance to prove my love to you,
I would happily dance a slow dance to prove my love is true.

Jah Rastafari is the brightest of shining lights,
For the sun shines down upon the love of my life.
This son needs the sun to shine upon her good looks,
For she is truly incredible and she lights my world right up.
Like a neon light, flood light, blinding light of an eclipse;
A message from Jah said Amity it is.

Much love to my love, I love Jah, Amity and all others,
Because even those who hate me passionately,
Are still my blood brothers.
So I thank you for loving or hating me passionately;
For that at least is more than just the nothingness of apathy.

So peace, love and empathy, to all in the world,
For one day we shall all find our one true love.
