My Wishes are Simple

My Wishes are Simple

My wishes are simple,
my desires few,

to gaze upon an ocean,
and marvel at a solitary drop of dew.

My wishes are simple,
my dreams not too grand,

to feel the waves teasing my tired feet,
with no footprints left in the cool, wet sand.

My wishes are simple,
my thoughts serenely gentle, calm,

my heart resting beneath a swaying palm,

healing my being, caressed by nature's soothing balm.

The Green River

She slips from the sleeping ice.
Green, fresh, free to flow
through the great fjord.
Past the blue mountains.

She glides smoothly
over the rocks with glee,
covering them with her cool touch.
Tall evergreens cheer her on.
Waving as she courses down her chosen path,
carrying life.

All the while never tiring!
Surging forward to join the others like her.
This vast journey ,
will not end till she reaches
The Great Shores.

Her journey is joyful.
Touching all on her banks,
leaving the gift of life in her wake.

Your Glory inside

When I lay down the night before,
I woke up to find Your Glory inside,

When I woke up to find Your Glory inside,
I bowed down at Your feet,

I crossed over the Jordon and fell at Your feet.
I Praise You now and Praised You then,

When I woke up to find Your Glory inside,

how wonderful now when I woke to find,

Your Hand in mine,
Your my Hope Lord,

Your my desire,
My Savior,My King.

One day, when I lay my head down,

I will wake up to find,

Your Glory inside!

A Silent Wave

A silent wave rushing inside my heart

Your hand leading me so far we won't depart

Your voice I heard in away that's taking me far

Into a silent wave rushing inside my heart.

Oh the thrill it was to hear

your voice so silent as I opened up to you

so wonderful this silent wave rushing inside my heart

I was searching for a answer to a question for so long

there it was a silent wave rushing inside my heart

Your voice Lord, in ways I never found

a silent whisper so very loud

inside my heart the silent wave replied

to me your love is so divine..

So when the shattered dreams are filling your mind

please please listen to the silent wave rushing inside your heart.

spring begining's

Spring time is near when the dawning of sun light beacons upon the horizon and the butterflies roam throughout the sky,
among sun shine rays piercing through tender vibrant flowers
as their journey to blossom began's,
When the days linger into nights transforming the skies into shimmering stars of light, illuminating the golden specks of sand as sprinkling ocean waves crash against its grain,
while ripples of white water recede back into the depths of the sea,
Transcending reflections of the magnificent lights shimmering from the crisp stary sky
 AS springs just upon us.

The Spring of my Summer

Like an unassuming lion,
He paced around my camp,
And I, oblivious to his scent,
Peacefully, I slept.

This stately beast, with a bellowing roar,
Made his presence felt,
I gingerly marveled at his majestic mane,
Consumed by his intoxicating presence.

Like a sleeping beauty, I arose from my slumber,
He awakened all my senses,
The beast was inside me, overpowering every emotion,
Giving rise to the dormant, the dead, the lifeless, inside my very core.

So I drank from his fountain,
Hung on every word, from his lyrical tongue.
I swam in his pool of dreams; I ate from his sumptuous banquet.
He was the Spring of my Summer.

And as swiftly as a tornado, he wreaked havoc within my chaos,
He ignited my fire,
He handed me the keys to Pandora’s Box,
And expeditiously he retreated.

The waft in the air, still wreaks of his fragrance,
My mouth ravenous, salivating at the thought of his taste,
My heart forlorn and as arid as a desert,
It yearns for the Spring of my Summer.
