The Camp of the Dead Children

Emily of three years
Leukemia eating her soul
Her bald head, made her smile wider
Please mummy do not cry
I will hug you even after I die

Tommy of five years
Bone cancer eating his limbs
Unable to walk, this beautiful mind
Absorbed any book like it was fine wine
He kissed his Daddy, and said all will be fine

Lena a sweet young lady of seven
Preparing her bed, for her voyage to heaven
Her little liver refused to function
Her spirit however could not be shrunken
She smiled beyond her years, I love you mummy daddy

Jacob of six, suffered from irony
Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease was to be his downfall
His hockey days were all but over
His favorite stick he gave to little brother
He said I love you, so don’t you too suffer

Raquel was all of four and one half years old
Menkes Disease was very soon to take hold
Her sad blue eyes expressed her fate
She knew the lord was waiting, staying up late
Her tears were for all those she was leaving behind

Jimmy was a young lad of only eight
With burns all over his body, death his only fate
His family hovered over his last moments here
As a plentitude of love gazed up to mum
His life fluttered away, he knew he was done

Emily, Tommy, Lena, Jacob, Raquel and Jimmy
All suffered and taken before their time
All of them far wiser than their childhood years
All of them sad for all their families tears
The heavens of the universe, seem so fickle and unkind

Why, why why, as my heart comprehends not at all this time

The camp of dead children, killed me as well

Yet they were survivors and filled with eternal love

Why why why, as I can only cry

Quantum entanglement
Inside the human conscientiousness
Schroeder’s cat, has been freed at last
Multi universe, exposing heads and tails

It’s the last ecstatic day of the Olympics
The spectators are in awe
Anticipation is hanging in the air
As the best, most fit, most disciplined
Of young men and woman are set to compete....
The finest of human specimens in both body and mind

The starter raises his pistol
The Big Bang
The race of life is on

The families of the triumphant winners jump for joy
Mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters
Clapping and cheering, years of dedication
Are seen on the smiles of these young ones

On to the podium does the team step
They stare out proud and filled with joy
Gold medals placed over their shoulders one by one
Emily, Tommy, Lena, Jacob, Raquel and Jimmy
They have won!

Somehow, deep within, they know, they have won

Silence

Silence can deceive

Whale Meat Again

All aboard this ship of fools,
all aboard she's sailing,
all aboard this ship of fools,
for we are going a' whaling.

From the harbour our course we keep,
for the distant Antarctic water,
to find the leviathans of the deep,
and begin our bloody slaughter.

All aboard this ship of fools,
all aboard she's sailing,
all aboard this ship of fools,
for we are going a' whaling.

We say there is a scientific need,
to study these magnificent beings
we harpoon them, and watch them bleed,
as before our ship they're fleeing.

All aboard this ship of fools,
all aboard she's sailing,
all aboard this ship of fools,
for we are going a' whaling.

And still our leaders, they entreat
that we do this for the good of science,
but really it is for their meat,
that we kill these gentle giants

All aboard this ship of fools,
all aboard she's sailing,
all aboard this ship of fools,
for we are going a' whaling.

OFF and On

OFF and On
Simply put some people are always ON and they are supercharged and have no
lack of energy gastrulating vehemently as the victum less than gleefully reacts to
them oh please my work is over in one hour eye am very sleepy now as soon as
eye have eaten and made love then eye must sleep and get some rest somehow
oh eye knoe that you are someone in the world of education oh you say you are a
teacher and you expostulate the ramification of my emulation of a sheep at sleep
and resting in the field of grass between the Sheppard dogs at last just let me do
this last hour of my job and learn people do not have to bow to a higher learner
when they earn.

The Sweetest Sucide

I would need this gun
To complete my mission;
I would need this CD
So I can listen;
A cell phone
To say good bye;
Kleenex
For my cry;
This is the sweetest suicide;

A car
So I can drive;
A pin and pad
To leave a note;
Alcohol
To numb the pain;
Weed
To f up my brain;
Maybe coke
To thin my veins;
This is the sweetest suicide;

Photos
To remember the good times;
A destination
To do my crime;
The ocean
Because I love it;
A watch
To mark the time;
Farewell
Goodbye;
I can't make up my mind;
This is the sweetest suicide;

I feel the wind blowing up my sleeves;
The ocean water touching my knees;
The earth is so beautiful
To bad I have to leave;
The tide is high
I take a swim;
Now I start counting
Down to my sin;
The gun is loaded
My letters wrote;
Blues are playing
I take a line of coke;
Calls are made;
Messages sent;
I hit this weed
And take a sip;
Splatter my brains
And fall into the ocean;
This is the sweetest suicide;

Your Eyes

 (Dedicated to Folake)

Your eyes, woman
are like twilight rainbow
amorously bearing aloft passions of mine
toward androcytic ecstacy.
They tell of endless lights.

Night skies clarion the warmth of you
keep me balled-up till
i am tilted to your adorned essence.

May I call up words to adore you,
agglomerate them into a panoply of worshippers
unsandalled before you
like Moses at the burning bush.

And now you seem to fall asleep
but you tell me it's the heavy night
bidding toward a sunny dawn
wherein our love is lighted.

Slowly I let you fall asleep
impatient with the long night
waiting to gaze once more
into the eyes of my lovely love.

Then a lip is placed on yours
and you rouse up wide-eyed
smiling at my romantic move.
We enjoyed the night, cruising on.

Solitude: To Yoda, An Ode

Green bark a prism creates,
Feel the pull of earth, you must.

Rotates, a slime of endless hates,
Can hold me not, this world’s crust.

Friendship’s ties, isolation Deflates,
Succumbs, my spaceship, to bitter rust.

Mist, my soul forever permeates,
Lift-off, booms the rocket’s thrust.

My spirit when light returns, elates,
Swamps swell, swallowed hope’s swirling dust.

Trapped, I am, until student from fate
Arrives to learn; Cloud City or bust.

A Soul Awakened

The warm light calls me
And all the people who cries for thee
I raise my hand in this abyss
Only to make one wish
To float among the others
With all my sisters and brothers
I call out for forgiveness with passion
I take their pain into myself for this occasion
The moment that I see the sky
I will not look back and cry
My body is laying still
People standing by it with a chill
The air gets dense with sadness
I would not think of it less
Some people look up and down
To see the light hit the ground
Some can vision the uplifting feeling they see
One soul that has been and always be
It is special to notice such aberration
And that might be how souls are awaken

I Hate Aunt Floe

NOTE: This poem is a humoruos stab at PMS from a mans point of view

I can see your blood boiling
through the blades I once called eyes,
they were once beautiful like jewels
now they hurt my deep insides.
cutting at my guts
and like a noose on my  lungs;
your words seek like bullets
your mouth like sniper guns.
I’m hit with each inaccuracy…
Being killed by words untrue;
and you even got the nerve
to tell me what you think I do.
But let me get mad
and try to plead my case;
then suddenly the world
is a f--ked up place.
You got tears running down…
What the Hell did I do?
We were just sitting and laughing
I could swear that we were cool.
Oh God…
Oh no…;
I should have seen it…
It’s Aunt Floe…,
This battle can’t be won or reasoned
I think its best I go.
Cause I hate Aunt Floe
and she hate me too;
she sit and talk sh-t
about the gum I chew.
The color of my shirt…,
She say my look is a stair;
She say my best has no worth
And she doesn’t stop there.
I didn’t change
I’ve been the same
these 28 days,
 but now I’m f_ckin A__hole
Aunt Floe gave me that name.
She said get out my face
This aint your home no more,
But I’m more puzzled by
What was said before.
I love you
With her glossy eyes
I knew it was true,
But horribly sly
You see these words
make me the fool.
The one that’s cruel
That a__hole dude,
That sparked the fuel
To this f__kin feud.
But I swear to God
I didn’t start this sh_t,
Why would I give up my love
To live my life like in a pit.
 This is horrible sh_t
Wasted days spent,
On nothing but the worst
I could be bathed in your sent.
You could be laughing
While I’m smiling
But Aunt Floe Won’t let this be,
And the only way to make this right
Is hold my tongue a week.
And that ain’t gone happen
I’m a person too,
Not soft
But I got feelins
and don’t know what to do.
Now its been six days
Unbelievable  rage,
She locked herself
In the room
I call it her cage.
I smell a sent in the air
It wasn’t there before,
Now lookin down the hall
I see an open door.
Is this a trap
I’ll guess I’ll see,
If I fall for another
 You know that’s dumb ass me.
Curled in the bed
I think I know that girl,
But where’s the hells Aunt Floe
The one that f__ked my world.
She packed up and gone
Didn’t even say good bye,
Just came wit gang of bullsh_t
And vanished in the sky.
Is that you my dear
Can you please come here,
Listen close and crystal clear…
I hate Aunt Floe
 Next time she here
Make sure I’m stocked
with weed and beer.
I love you punk.  ?

My Frozen Reflection, My Changed World

My tusks are sharp, like a warrior's spear.
I see clearly and only feel one thing, fear.
Frozen deep in this field of flattened glass,
I had to watch my unfulfilled dreams pass.
I have always known the snow covered land
that now morphs and changes behind my own,
Innocent eyes. But a weight of a stone,
that can crush an entire army; then I remain alone.
I feel cold, my spirit sold,
lurking beyond me, rotten and old.
Out of reach, with so much to teach,
jerking to become free, begging for speech,
my young ones, my family shadows,
trapped behind a glacier of gallows,
The temporary apocalypse of merciless ice.
I wish I had warned them.

Exiled on Earth

I am but a traveler, a visitor, observer;
Call me an alien, if that is your wish.
In truth, I am very much like you,
But I am exiled here, marooned.

I am not here for a crime of my own,
But rather so that I can watch and learn;
To observe humanity as it prospers and grows
To experience Earth and its sorrows and joys.

Your world is pleasant, yet here I feel lost.
How strange are your customs and lives!
That a minority flourish while many more die
And the ones with power turn a blind eye

To all of the suffering, torment, and death.
Does it take a stranger to notice these things?
To see that the greed and vice of mankind,
Leads up to war, and destruction soon follows.

How greatly I yearn to go home!
Where pain is no more and Death has no power
And everyone smiles because they are free
And evil and suffering are nothing but dreams.

I pine daily for the place I belong.
Yet the distractions of Earth are ruthless.
I fear now that they will entangle and blind me,
And my home will seem more like the dream.

Then I would be little more than human.
And I would no longer be me.

If your not the part of the solution your the part of the problem

I’m from the hood where the politicians don’t do squat for the poor/
I represent the modern day Black man/
The Black educated politician and activist that care about only one Damn
thing when the stuff hit the fan!
“They Damn Self!”
It’s like a wise man once said “Never let the left hand know what the right
hand do” meaning keep all of the right hands right and all of the left hands
left/
Ever since then the tradition has been eating off the next mans death/
It’s like a jungle sometimes it makes me wonder whether I should go buy
books or go buy a T.V,/Then again I wonder what’s wrong with these rap artists calling us
window
shoppers like we nothing!
Then them same rap artist turn around and beg us to go buy they C.D/
“Buy Black Owned!!”
“Keep the Money in the Hood!”
That’s all you hear/
We tried and it went/
Now at the same time I’m behind in my rent/
I hate the usage of the word Negroes!
But when I look at these new condos being built all around Harlem/
I realize Negroes got a problem/ The rent not affordable/
They go do what they wanna do/ just to get Negroes out of Harlem/
What happened to all the great MALCOLMS, MARTINS, and MARCUS/
Cause all we got now is a bunch of fake FARRAKHANS, SHARPTONS
and BARRAKAS!/ nah just kidding!Hopefully not my last hope BARAK
OBAMA! But I wonder when it’s all go stop!/
Cause when I look at my peoples now a days/
All I see is
“I see DISASTER!!
And realize “Yeah we still SLAVES”/
But the sad part is
WE THE MASTER!! (“let’s stop enslaving our selves”)

The Time Machine

(I was inspired by the movie "The Time Machine", to write this piece)

For days, weeks, and months,
he became a hermit of science,
working on a device
to return to his beloved, to return
things as they were four months,
and a fortnight ago; two lovers
embracing a romantic walk together,
in a snowing evening.

Memories of her smile and good heart
gave him courage to create a device
that would make him disappear
from the present,
and meet her in the past.

He depended upon physics to alter
time and fate; to return his joy
and meaning once again…..

The Miserable Physicist II

OLD VERSION

(This poem was published in Leaves of Ink, this August)

He finds nothing new to be excited about; a bottle of whisky, dark humor,
and a packet of cigarettes are his companion.
“All the breakthroughs and works that I have done will end in a flash,
when another Big Bang occurs”, he mourns deep inside his soul,
as his wife and children play in the summer Sun……

The Cremation of My Uncle- 2

When his truck met
with nature so pure,
Did he know his time
was coming to an end?

Basic elements of life
taught each day
not to think twice.
Giving humans oxygen,
yet encouraging a raging fire,
just ordinary trees.
Did he know they would
cut his time short?

A cremation vault so sacred
destroys our lives.
It put him in a vase
rather than a box.
Does he know now
that he has come
to an end?

Travel Free, TROUBLED TRANSIENT

TRAVEL FREE, TROUBLED TRANSIENT...

Lift the gate to roll with swine and the glory of it all
Ride the tide all night, abide by no law and stand tall...
Hitch-hike till' Hell says, "get out n' surf the SUN"
Do it all over Land Rover; don't blink 'till the deed is done
Divide doom by blue tears you stack
Kill the clock boy; time tempts worse than crack
Live the gift reckless, rest (maybe) when you die
Never look back Jack; middle finger to the sky!

Flat Canvas

Flat canvas;

Bubbling brown ridges strike
The confining dimensions in a hostile yawn:
Upwards, Outwards.

Walk the world no longer, an ending beckons,
A precipice builds moments where swallows wager wings
On new seed: New breeds.
Falling buys the assurance of seconds
From a sinking well.
Oh well.

Remember us when the globe begins to slip,
Bang drums for our pity:
Our crescendos mean less than meaningless.
And then, when spheres crack, continue
On the whorl of a thumb,
Stretching hope to nothing.
Run.

Barnabas Collins

They visit me here though they think me dead They all think me a long time gone The mausoleum is quiet, with only a dark shadow Creeping upon its ancient walls, and thats of my own The heavy door seems to creek all of sudden I think Outside I hear the sounds of what seems like footsteps I open that very old secret door which leads to my rest And with a heavy heart consumed by this fire, I prepare for the kill But then, outside, there is no one, no one is there No one out there now to steal from me this time in here Outside now I catch only the furtive and dark shadows As I hear the lonesome cry of a howling wolf or hurting bird I dart quickly another look again to my ancestral and cold coffin My fateful resting place is one more time again safe No friend nor foe to release me to free me tonight from my woes And from all of my black and torturous betraying thoughts I, Barnabas Collins, I stand here in all this darkness alone As I close my weary eyes for another moment and rolling time Then again I hear the wind moaning and hear the wind weeping The dogs are howling and my wounded heart abates in the wind They're my only companions in my endless and perpectual sorrow. tHE gRAVE yARD Of LoVe

                                         Long love day's has past.
                                 My mind felt with howling storms,
                                 grasping to hold on to vanishing love.
                                 Rape and abandon my weary soul
                                 transpires, poring with instant fires.
                                 Oh this dark secret love does thy life
                                 destroy.
                                 Like amorous birds of pray,
                                 Once ways, and known devoured
                                 Your beauty no more to befound
                                 nor shall the sound of your voice.
                                 Love to dust, love to ashes.
                                 Our love has now gone to a private place.
                                        The grave yard of love.

An Agnostic Acrostic

 "this poem is not about what is written,but what is not written. . . "
Greyer looms matter's of the.....?
Beauty fades not there then.....?
Flowers live and die fact of ....?
A four letter word of endearment....?
A saddened stare like where the Red Fern.....?
Do not withdraw from the sunlight given by the almighty...?
The feeling active of letters four much like adores.....?
Speaking in second person sounds like and is...?
In the prelude I allude to this message to point to the truth
You cannot see air but it is there so beware
You do not have to walk into the total darkness
to see how dark the blackness is
Like gravity that holds you there how much more our Creator cares
Setting on shelf scoffing at the pain you do not see
The love that is and can be He just wants to set you free
ignorance of the law does not excuse
How deep the pain how dark is that blue
without Hope without God waiting to play the odds
Without knowledge must be total misery
as earthly beauty fades as the tree
a dieing thing without fruit
the growing sorrow does that suit
without hope of new life tomorrow
Here today and gone so to borrow
Not opening a door can be as bad as slamming it in your face
to see where true beauty is you run in place not seeing the grace
turn to the light dwelling in the dusk from the womb to dust
on your pedestal under your own glass

My Big Brother Is Watching You Too

"My Big Brother" up and down the street
  He could be anyone you meet
  Spying on you from the street
  Looking in from every beat
"My Big Brother" isn't that sweet

"My Big Brother" and I don't know why
  Casting in from above the sky
"My Big Brother" the commie spy
  Listening in do or die
  Bringing his book in
  Taught within
My Big Brother, 1-800-LET-US IN
  Caught with paper and a pen
All because, "My Big Brother" let himself in

Dream Liberty -- Butterfly Effect

Butterflies quietly fluttering In my soul Transforming my life Morphing into something so unreal So Different, silently beautiful So hidden and lost A fire dances on my pale iced face Lively prancing as each sheds more light The embers glow in your singed shadow Was this eternity meant to last forever? I couldn't believe that a simple flap of butterfly wings could cause such a storm, a storm in my mind The simplest things causing the greatest of pains Why cant I be one of them Forever and free I'll be with my dream of liberty Punishing the dead Can you never let anything go Is it all to hard to see That your bias takes you on a blinded delusion Where all they plunder is hate Terror is a virtue When becoming a king So cut off the strings of my life With your power And you will see the strength of the dream of Liberty I couldn't believe that a simple flap of butterfly wings could cause such a storm, a storm in my mind The simplest things causing the greatest of pains Why cant I be one of them Forever and free I'll be with my dream of liberty I couldn't believe that a simple flap of butterfly wings could cause such a storm, a storm in my mind The simplest things causing the greatest of pains Why cant I be one of them Forever and free I'll be with my dream of liberty

The Drone

 You use it every day.
 It is a basic part of life now.
 Maybe it’s the flicker of the radio
 Or the buzz of a computer.
 It is used every day to make our lives simpler and less stressful.
 Is it really helping us though?
 It does make our life simpler
 But is this a downward spiral into emotionless and effortless life?
 A life where instead of real soldiers with real emotions
 are sent to fight,
 A drone controlled by someone at a computer is used to kill innocent civilians.
 The drone is emotionless.
 No compassion for other beings and no feeling of guilt or regret.
 This is the future,
 an emotionless drone controlled by someone at a computer.

MYSTIC PARABLE

Stories dared not whispered, legend of great thinker.
Artificially created Atlantis, maze search for law-giver.

Hushed lips speak no evil, silly little monkey cliche.
Privy ancient knowledge, not clear as light and day.

So-called peace-loving demigods, closely followed in trace.
Sexually crazed fools, copying angels fallen from grace.

Pillars of Hercules within island, dynasty king frenzy awoke.
Powerful and remarkable, ready to enslave at single stroke.

Originally thought to be noble, conspicuous reveal greed.
In route to world domination, struck down by Specialbreed.

Later time earthquakes and floods, extraordinary violence.
Single dreadful day and night, massive lost of innocence.

Intervening super mighty one, so-called wrathful Zeus.
Manipulation of elements, water and lightning bolts let loose.

Grand golden wall palace, swept aside sea and sunk below.
Ironical measured payment, for employment of ruthless blow.

Swiming through labyrinth of wisdom, vie of the celest'.
Chancing risk of schism, mighty sequential vignette.

Perplexed pattern in hide, bloody seal of truth.
Illuminati repelled, for a time real minoot.

Message of twisted tongue, langual contrivance.
Masters' visions swoon, in journey through euphoric trance.

Loud whisper switch, silence left in wake.
Souls of denizens burned, in fiery scourching shake.

Prominent eclectic short order, alien wishbone act.
Convert of non-belief, fierce zealots' minds impact.

Lucid broken water reflection, visible-eye agleam.
Blind finding quarry, standing like obelisk beam.

Instinctive overriding, a slip into lucidity.
Telepathic mind connection, recede to infinity.

Exponential theory, base of schematics.
Common like maybe, superpower military tactics.

Voice of bleeding knowledge, fade to obscurity.
Mystic in strange land, fault found in masters of intricacy.

Undecipherable rhetoric, great monster on chase.
Featureless darkness, a threat to human race!

Hell To The Grave Part 2

A knife digs into my leg.
 I look down and see my leg turning the same colour as the other’s skin.
Rotting, putrid flesh, spreading its disease up my thigh.
Pain arcs across my chest, spilling into my neck.
My hands, they’re becoming tentacles as well.
I can feel my bones shattering, slicing through my skin.

A flash of pain, and I’m on my knees.
My head is splitting from the pain. I can’t even think.
What’s my name?
 Where am I?
 I hear a hoarse voice in the back of my mind.
Give in. Let go. Now.
Unfortunately I don’t have a choice. My mind, it feels crowded.
Something is in my mind.
“GET IT OUT! GET IT OUT OF MY HEAD!” I scream, deafening myself.
A blood red is creeping across my vision, clouding my view.
More piercing pain, I can feel my back snapping.
I topple over to my side. My body is convulsing uncontrollably.
Finally, the pain gets the best of me. I can’t take it any longer.
The pressure in my head, consuming my being.
I attempt one last bravado.
I cling to one memory.
The memory of the girl.
My daughter.
But soon even she is corrupted.
The voice, calling to me. Tempting me. Strangling my mind.

Then, just before I black out, I hear her voice.
Come play with the me. Join us.
The sickly sweet, echoing charm of her morphs into a deep, throaty rumble.

Join me in the grave.
I am the Gravemind.

FAITH KEEPS US APART

It seems the path Iam on is changing everyday
the road uncertain just an endless shapeless gray
some would say it would all be clearer if I took up there religion
even with the doubt Iam not scared enough for that decision

I see the faith you placed in one of the many saviors
I lame excuse for the centuries of mad behavior
Iam sure your prophets where the very best of man
but your church and bibles where never in the plan

so every race has a version of there own
stories stolen from the gods of the past spoken out like it was always known
not one of these faiths is open and understanding
they keep others down and your soul churches are demanding

then you history holds no science no enlightenment
dogmatic foolishness written before free government
and every soul that is afraid to die or to ashamed to live
if you stop thinking then heaven is what they give

even now the human mind is found wanting
but reality is intelligence is hard work and life is daunting
if only the concept of good will and love
we understood without some sign from above

if you need the ancient fiction to ease your pain
I respect you and to all other men you should do the same
your saviors were righteous there’s know doubt
in there time they worship but no church was there twist whets its about

there have been many Christ’s since the beginning of man
the Mayans and Muslim have had tales since they ruled by the roman
dry king ghandi and many more sacrifice there life so others could be free
in my mind that’s what Jesus is what he is supposed to be

even know there some man of great worth he has no money no powerful church
he’s giving of himself and and loving the lost I dare you to search
and see the truth were in this together and this is paradise
we are the only keepers of our fate we must realize

I can no longer people pay to pray and talk down to others who dont believe what you say
but Christ himself did not hang with the saved he knew the hopeless so he could see them ok
but times have changed were not ruled by religious empires mad with slavery
we fought for those rights not with one mans good with collective human bravery

a new age is upon us and the true test is coming not one of prophecy
the makers of worlds the stars the cycle of suns chaos of the galaxy
I hope soon we see are only time is now there is no second chance
are race needs to come together and make a united stance
if faith keeps us apart do we even have the heart

That Free Will is an Illusion

FACT I:
That decisions are in the form of electric impulses and chemical reactions in the brain…
That these electricity and reactions are facilitated by different chemicals…
That chemicals are just aggregates of atoms…

FACT II:
That we do not have control over atoms.

AND THUS,
we cannot control the chemicals in our brain;
and therefore,
cannot control such reactions and electric impulses;
and therefore,
cannot control our decisions.

Hell To The Grave Part 1

Hell freezes over. Fire into ice.
Ice…but without the chill, the cold.
I try to rethink how this happened.
How a world so green, so vibrant, become hell.
And now a pale white wasteland.

Agony to relief. A relief that can’t possibly last.
Impossibilities. A dream. Numbness.
As I emerge from my shelter, built to withstand dry heat, not cool precipitation.
I wonder at the beauty of this new and strange world.
The scorching I’ve received, now soothed by the cooler air.
Miniscule crystals, floating slowly to the earth, sticking to my hair.
Like dust. Not cold.

I see others as well, marveling at this white world,
 revealing themselves to be inadequately clothed for this overnight change.
I hear a child’s laughter, excited screams as she experiences the cold for the first time.

I turn to watch, a smile on my face.
There in the white, brash scarlet stains the pureness.
The girl’s excitement turns to anguish.
She clutches her head, letting out a piercing cry.
Before my eyes, she transforms.
Her arms, becoming broken and lengthy, ending in tentacles.
Her face, distorted beyond recognition.

More cries, bawling, hammering of fists.
All around me, those whom I’ve grown up with become unrecognizable.
Their skin becomes a sickly green beige, the colour of vomit.

Suddenly everything stops. Silence…
