I never knew following dreams could be this lonely,
But up on the hill, looking back, thank God I'm not the old me.
If the tears will fall, let them be;
I believe this is God's plan, follow your dreams.
A soul cries yet nobody hears him
They say he has neither a head nor limbs
But he has a soul and a spirit
Undesirable is the soul to be taken from the womb
A soul cries yet nobody hears him
His voice is so mild that no one can hear him
He’s damned for a crime he didn’t commit
No supplication and inspiration to share
A soul still cries yet nobody hears him
He has neither words nor songs to hymn
He’s languishing from a lashing whip
A victim to hatred, dubiety and immorality
A soul cries yet nobody seems to care
He pleas for his precious life to be spared
Yet with a mild voice no one will give an ear
With despair he cries and screams into the night
A soul cries yet this girl has turned a deaf ear
A voice tells her “eliminate him from here”
But a master fate will sometimes have it to be
The Dame escorted him six feet underground

Know how to make
The best of what you've got in you
You do it everyday in your life
Soap bubbles float through high-school breeze
that chuckles on playful moonlights;
our gang dabs round film on oak trees
or paste white orbs on teen boys' kites.
And vapor-like, our summers wrap
the peek-a-boos squeaking tag games,
on dappled field where guys eavesdrop
inviting tricks without a shame.
Long day collects a popping spree,
as sticky piles knot wavy hair
like rustle of sun, how carefree
to mess around till burnt cheeks flare.
The thrill of puppy love upswings
when every hour is like a race
while globules fly, my crush then zings
till cheery arms steal quick embrace.

When I met her I knew she was fire
She was way too hot for me to hold
There I hovered within her orbit
If I stayed close I wouldn't be cold
She captured my imagination
A long legged beauty beyond compare
All her curves in the right places
A pretty face with long flowing hair
Pappa said I shouldn't play with fire
Otherwise I would surely be burned
The day I finally found my courage
I received this scar that I have earned
The thing about a beautiful woman
She gets hit on almost every day
The heat that I felt was turned to ice
She turned around and walked away
At seventeen, I was way too young
I was like a moth caught in her flame
When it came to playing with fire
I didn't know the rules to the game
Am I just another creature?
Thriving hard to make a future?
Beyond what can undergo suture
Thoughts have almost my heart rupture
No my dear you are special
With no thought of being partial
Who has got so much potentials
That you’ve displayed from initial?
Why have I not come top in all I do?
Why hasn’t anyone asked to know who?
When I put my potentials all through
Except, sometimes, just you
Bother less on those, my dear
They have all, their own fears
Of a genius who’s so much near
That will with them this glory share
I hope not to forget who I am
For I hope to do great with these arms
To reach wide even to those in farms
Yet not to have a soul by it harm
It’s great to think less of persons
Just do your things in its right season
Without a thought of selfish reason
And their thoughts shall be to them a prison
We will cherish these moments
Because they are few,
But please always remember
I will always love you.
Run, run, run and give it all up!
Into His arms, commend your love!
Through Him, you are saved!
What a beautiful, glorious day!
My heart is on Your shoulders,
And You are lifting me up.
With every spoken tender gesture,
I fall a little farther in love.
Love in His name.
Saved by grace;
