First Love

First Love

Her eyes showed me a way,
Her unique smile let my tears go away,
Her Beautiful face made me to say,
Is this Love, or what???

Started to have feeling of love,
Started to behave nicely and different,
Started to smile when there was no reason to smile,
Still, Is this Love, or what??

Tried to approach her, but felt belittled, lowly, shy,
Tried to ask her for date, but felt afraid, scared, shocked,
Tried to express my love, felt would be rejected, hurt, unheard,
Well still, Is this love, or what?

I can fix anything, why not this thing,
I can talk to any girl, why not this girl,
I can really convince anyone, why not this one,
Came before many girl, why not this girl.

Do please not tell me its just nothing,
Do tell me how to do something about this thing...Love,
Do tell me anything about this thing…Love,
Will there be rejection or appreciation??????????

Ode to Mi Corazon

As I pull weeds from cracks in sidewalks
Yout sit on top of thrones made of solid gold
And I pay no mind to the women around me,
Only to your beauty do I hold an Ode.

I see my fair Spanish lady
my daring, sweet rose with thorns,
That run up and down her spine.
As she stops in the daily parade
Waving at the peasants,
She looks at me and summons her guards
Too take me away.

Her beauty is unbearable.
I cannot take not being with her
For a single moment in my life.
Her hair,
Black like coal,
Her smile is bright, as the first rays of the Red Sun
In the dawn.
Her lips painted with ruby lipstick,
her silk laced dress and shawl wrap around her,
Like a beautiful butterfly in her cocoon.
Her skin of olive, dark color and her green eyes.
My God, those sweet and piercing green eyes
Oh, how they hit my soul and make me shiver with excitment.
She is intoxicating and I am intoxicated in her beauty.

She is like an angel, a Latina beauty who walks the streets paved gold,
As I walk the cracked, cobblestone walkways.
She shines in the Spanish sun, like a dimoand in the ruff
As you blow the dust off her sweet brow,
she glows and sparkles with extordinary excellence.

She is beautiful and sweet and kind.
She loves me, but her father minds.
I am only a peasant, and she royalty.
Can our love ever be together in one holy matrimony?
I pray to the Lord, of all that is good,
Please give me a sign that she loves me.

Soon a storm came over,
blowing me down to the ground
And a cloud of dust swallowed me whole.
A great Conquistador on a great white stallion
pulled me up and told me that she wanted to see me.
I shacked with nervous of joy as I followed the warrior.

She was there, under a palm tree
Near a beautiful beach in Barcelona.
She smiled and a glow covered me with passion.
I hugged her and kissed her upon her sweet lips.
I tasted virginity and she tasted loyalty.
We both tasted beauty and harmony.
As the warrior left us,
We made love upon a vigin white sheet,
Soon covered with a flowing river of red.
She moaned with exticy and love was in the air.
The Ode to my sweet Spaniad, Mi Corazon!

We lay there in each others arms
Looking up at a clear night sky
The twilight glimmered ever so softly
And a shooting star blazed across the sky
I kissed her and she kissed me.
I whispered in her, "My love forever"
And she pushed me back upon the sheets
and we made sweet and ever lasting love again.
As we looked in each other's almond colored eyes.
I said to her, in a soft voice, Mi Corazon.

Daydream Love

You are simply a work of art.
I’ve known it from the very start,
But you won’t find me hittin’ on ya.

For I’m just an old guy
With a twinkle in his eye;
Happy just to gaze upon ya.

My old heart quickens it pace
Each time I see your pretty face,
A face that every man should see.

Sometimes, just for a while,
Each time I see you smile,
I imagine it's just for me.

And, when I hear your voice,
For just a moment, I rejoice.
Yes, it’s music to these old ears.

But more than a work of art,
You’re warm and funny and smart.
Simply a beautiful person, my dear.

Though with you I’m quite smitten,
My words are respectfully written;
And every word is true.

But, if I weren’t so old,
If I were better looking and a little bold,
I would simply say, “I love you.”

An Ode To My Beloved

I just wanted to let you know
That I have this love for you...
Although I'm not fast to show
For you, there's nothing I wouldn't do
And I can't control this love
No matter what I try to do...

While I know our lives are separating
Which has got me pretty blue
I just want you to know
How much I love you...

Because I was blinded by shyness
And now my heart's feeling rugged
So this here's An Ode To My Beloved

Oh how I still see you every night in my mind
You're the best girl I feel I'll ever find
And when my eyes would fall upon your smile
My heart would be put on trial
And so if nothing else, I want to let you know
That I'll always love you, that my hearts beat
For you, won't ever slow...

Because I was blinded by shyness
And now my heart's feeling rugged
So this here's An Ode To My Beloved

So I wish you happiness beyond compare
And sorry for the times I couldn't help but stare
Caring, passionate, smart, and loving
From my heart, to you, I'll never be shoving

You will always be in my heart
No matter where we go, how far we drift apart...

Goodbye My Love...

''Loveliness that's deep and that's rare--''

Loveliness that's deep and that's rare
is like a rose that blooms afresh
(like the rosebud that's new and fair);
lovely in aspect and in flesh,
it lives in sunlight without care
letting all the sky breathe and mesh.

Its loveliness is hard to find
     unspoiled and as innocent;
and with its tint and with its rind
     it quells my musing discontent.
As it sighs (softly and from behind),
my nose takes in its lovely scent.

Its beauty transcends its locus,
imbuing the eyes of my soul
with romantic, ideal focus
that makes the heart and the mind whole:
without it the world seems callous
and grace would not be in control.

An Ode to Lost Love

1.

I should have listened.

Alas, I was lost in the crowd.

You may not have said that you loved me,

there was never a reason for it to be said aloud.

2.

I should have known better.

I kept pushing you away.

Your patience was tested,

till we each went,
on our own separate way.

3.

Now the years have vanished.

I am grey and older.

I may not miss you all that much,

yet each day seems colder.

4.

Time has not eased anything.

Yet I have no reasons for regret.

Days come and go as always,

but somehow I am unable to forget.

5.

So forgive me if you can.

Not an easy task given my past.

Though I may be unable to absolve myself,

the void I feel is permanent,

my loss shall forever last.

Ode Upon Such Passion

All's easily accepted, net and gross,
Yet, nothing's so taken as was first meant;
Standard batteries come so close,
Matters, measures belong to the present,
It all seems very certain and cheerless,
Always forever this very instance,
Remains our own framed immediacy,
All of it, it's all about sheer nearness,
Desperation of negated distance,
The slow gentleness of intimacy.

And yet... and yet... and yet...and yet... and yet,
And yet, there remains something to be said,
Of needs, of stirring belongings here met,
Of how the immaculate's put to bed;
We, the unavoidably become static,
We are inevitable, settled dust,
And, no more important than nothing much;
Yet, degree of purpose is erratic,
I'm alive with some pursuit after lust,
I yearn, only, after another's touch.

Everything occurs in our own due time,
Each miniscule point happens as though now,
So invested in this very same rhyme,
'Pon it's own alter, some beheaded cow;
Down, down, down...down to very seconds, down,
All matters, all measures are here present,
All you gotta do is just tell me when,
Gather my attention in your wrapp'd gown,
Where imagination might soon be meant...
Whisper in my ear, I'll be ready then.

Ode To Thee

I cannot say forget me
For that will never fly
Impossibilities
like birds without wings
Take my soul from your eyes

I cannot say forgive me
For I am not sure of my sin
I take your fair heart with a fare start and balance it on the wind.

the breath that is left
inside my heaving chest
is meant for the exultation of you.

And all that i am in spirit, on land
is spent in the loving of you.
For love as it is, as rare and as cleansed
is not a forlorn sensation.

I cannot say this is the only way,
but the direction I've paved is without the pace I know.
And the love that exists refuses to relent, like the falling snow.

An ode to another

An ode to another
Sensing the rhythm you ebb and flow like a snake through my heart
Palpitations flutter soft and dense breaking the blackness apart
Electrified you shock and jolt pumping my blood to start
Thump to thump forcing the flow to a work of art
Decay and hunger fearing the light depart
Hunger and sustenance you impart
Vein to blood a counterpart
Echo to song in restart
Forever now in part
My heart to heart
It is from your heart
Hoping to become a part
Delicate dance my counterpart
Musical muse inspiration you do impart
Dreaming that the rhythms would never depart
Our elegant orchestra designs the song to a work of art
Visions enlightens the moment as the finale has begun to start
Swaying and swoon the tenderness now break the melancholy apart
Sensing the rhythm you and ebb and flow like a snake through my heart

Ode to Molly

She comes to me in such vibrant colors
By her radiant display I am undone.
Burning alive, flying so near the sun.
So cold her embrace my skeleton shudders.
Hoping she takes me to ethereal heights
Frightened though I am, I cannot resist
I feel each finger of her tight’ning grip
Breathless and pale for her soothing delights
Nights turn to days, and each one is a daze,
A cloud I have become unable to escape.
Walking, stumbling on through the haze
Only to fall into her pestilent embrace.
These colors of her wash over me, endless,
An ocean of light and sound so relentless.

Ode to Lucy

Much like a lucid ambient layer—
I find myself floating down to the surface
Into the stratosphere without a care—
Projections about which I cannot repurpose:
Into my own inevitabilities;
Into the oxygen which I cannot breathe.
I sing the shifting dirges of stars
And the pragmatic proselytism
Of the rapists, of reapers and preachers.
But all of them so far have bled the same
And so many more will scream out my name
And none shall suffice as succinctly as
The one who hath passed her judgment
So fast. Posthaste I declare her dead.
