My Sweet Girl

On a lonely night at 11 pm, a bored boy tried social networking again He wrote on his wall, he played some games, and he checked his online friends for some familiar names There it was all alone, a girl who was lonely too, what could come of this? Who knows? A message sent to her and one was sent back A few more messages and we were on the right track A movie date first, a sledding date after, Valentine’s Day night was filled with hugs and laughter Then under the moon light, she looked into my eyes, her giggle made me smile and a kiss sealed the night This girl is my girlfriend my perfect other half, she can fix all my problems with only a laugh Her eyes are like gems, her smile is art, and she is not just pretty she is also so smart You are the best, and that won’t change when you read this I hope you don’t think I am strange

ICE CREAM

chill chill; cool cool;
variety of different colors and taste.
strawberry,butterscotch,mango,
     pista,badam,wallnut,etc.,
a variety of flavours
     which keeps me cool.
ice cream with parents is happy.
ice cream with friends is jolly.
ice creamwith lovable one is lovely.
     sharing ice cream shares love.
have a cup of ice,
have a chill and cool life.

Love is a Sacrifice

You have my soul, but you have your fate Whatever your words, I’m willing to take You have my word; I’ll give you my breath It’s like a chain that would never be break You are my love with all my heart, I’ll fight for you with all my might. And in the way, you admire your goals, You hold my hands, but not so close. As you go to your chosen path, I’ll accept the fact that we will be apart. In the dark side, I leave behind Within my faith, that you’ll arise Please don’t look back, coz I’m fighting still I’m hurting so much! Don’t want to have you near I accept my fate for what it does, I’m bleeding so much, do you know for whom it was? You reach your goals, as you want to have, Would you remind the man that gave what he had? As you reach the stars, and be the one Be a sun that shines its own. After the rain, the rainbow comes, Like dark in the moon, when the light flash A glimpse from you at least a short For then I knew my pain is worth.

An Ode To My Beloved

I just wanted to let you know
That I have this love for you...
Although I'm not fast to show
For you, there's nothing I wouldn't do
And I can't control this love
No matter what I try to do...

While I know our lives are separating
Which has got me pretty blue
I just want you to know
How much I love you...

Because I was blinded by shyness
And now my heart's feeling rugged
So this here's An Ode To My Beloved

Oh how I still see you every night in my mind
You're the best girl I feel I'll ever find
And when my eyes would fall upon your smile
My heart would be put on trial
And so if nothing else, I want to let you know
That I'll always love you, that my hearts beat
For you, won't ever slow...

Because I was blinded by shyness
And now my heart's feeling rugged
So this here's An Ode To My Beloved

So I wish you happiness beyond compare
And sorry for the times I couldn't help but stare
Caring, passionate, smart, and loving
From my heart, to you, I'll never be shoving

You will always be in my heart
No matter where we go, how far we drift apart...

Goodbye My Love...

Running

I run at night and the lights chasing

Sneakers pounding as the heart does it's best

No one cheers or waits anxiously at the ribbon

My mother won't scream," run Forrest run,"

It's me and the night with the wind

The sign was set and my feet were the GPS

Guide me home to my dreams

Dreams wait for me in in my junk drawer

A concert ticket for a faithful companion

Candy for my soul and the lonely card

The card written for me and it waits too

The past dreams as well but I look to the new

Those lonely rascals run with me and make me strong

The wind pushes me and people who I don't know cheer

They are my future and they crown me with olive branches

A song will be written for my future

Children will sing my glory

And they will know I never quit

And this is the beginning

Solitude: To Yoda, An Ode

Green bark a prism creates,
Feel the pull of earth, you must.

Rotates, a slime of endless hates,
Can hold me not, this world’s crust.

Friendship’s ties, isolation Deflates,
Succumbs, my spaceship, to bitter rust.

Mist, my soul forever permeates,
Lift-off, booms the rocket’s thrust.

My spirit when light returns, elates,
Swamps swell, swallowed hope’s swirling dust.

Trapped, I am, until student from fate
Arrives to learn; Cloud City or bust.

pride and vanity

Oh! Beloved, I’m dying to hear your voice for so long
You’re so far now and my tears could really make sounds as song
I’d say that I become obsessed to you since the first time,
I saw you and I couldn’t dare to resist your smile,
Beholding your beautiful eyes motions makes me want to fly
I know that you attempt to forget about my love but,
Please don’t forbid me to keep thy
I dared to make you jealous, and I know that you fry
And even you spend your nights in cry,
I’d never come back to you even if you touched the sky
Your love made life smiles to me and so feel alive
Now, it all seems bitter with hope to be blind or to die
My pride, vanity banned me to show you what I feel inside
But I still satisfied, you’re far but I can feel you beside
No one but you can switch off the fire within
Torturing me every single sigh and in,
My heart I couldn’t from my sentiments to flee
My desire to obtain you, can’t you see??!!
But that what’s enthralling about you and give you bright,
As a precious, expensive diamond light
Doesn’t sounds clearly to an ordinary at the first sight,
Oh! Beloved I’m so delight!!
Since I know that one day you won’t be able to keep it in your heart
Sorry! But I didn’t mean to be so smart, but it’s the bitter fact.
That’s not indeed abstract.

THE LONELY LITTLE FLOWER

I was walking alone in my
garden, like I do every day,
I go to say ‘hello’, to the lonely
flower – to see if it’s okay.
To see it looking depressed,
is more than I can take,
It just needs a darn good
friend – before it does awake.

I’ll see what I can do to help
this flower smile,
A little company is all it wants –
then it will all spout out a mile!
In the garden on its own – no
sign of life is there,
But this just isn’t good enough,
I have to show I care.

I see a little butterfly, flying oh
so freely,
I give it a little wave, and it
smiles so very gleefully.
It flies around so gaily, like it is
in love,
As the lonely little flower, does
suddenly look above.

The look it gives that butterfly,
is definitely of love,
While the happy butterfly flies,
magically above.
I know a friendship when I see
one – and I see one here,
The excited little butterfly flies
ever near.

The butterfly races on and
gathers up more speed,
While, all the little flower
sees – is the boring little
weed!
But suddenly something
happens – something quite
amazing,
The rain and the sun get
together, and help the
flower start singing!

Wow! What a sound. What
a feast of magic –
The sun and the rain have
given life to a flower – it truly
is fantastic.
This little shy flower blooms
up with head held very high,
And when the amazing butter-
fly sees this – it too decides to
try?

Oh my goodness, the magic of
nature,
But I have no camera, this
magic I want to capture?
This once lonely flower, is a
very happy flower,
As both the flower and the
butterfly live aside together.

What a scene this really is,
so perfect in every way –
A little, lonely flower, who’s
depression has now gone away.
Thanks to that little butterfly,
which helped a little flower,
They now live very happily -
in the magic garden together.

THE END

An Ode to Lost Love

1.

I should have listened.

Alas, I was lost in the crowd.

You may not have said that you loved me,

there was never a reason for it to be said aloud.

2.

I should have known better.

I kept pushing you away.

Your patience was tested,

till we each went,
on our own separate way.

3.

Now the years have vanished.

I am grey and older.

I may not miss you all that much,

yet each day seems colder.

4.

Time has not eased anything.

Yet I have no reasons for regret.

Days come and go as always,

but somehow I am unable to forget.

5.

So forgive me if you can.

Not an easy task given my past.

Though I may be unable to absolve myself,

the void I feel is permanent,

my loss shall forever last.

The song of the Fair Maiden

When lost in the Aegean Sea, I heard a song afar from my sails;
Blinded by the fogs, I sail to the direction of that voice.
Guided by the sweet voice and arouse by the melody, I followed the path of which I knew not,
And found myself drifting ashore a foreign land.
Haul by the passing mist; I saw a hill that rose above the lands,
My ship was in the middle of the two great hills that looked down and over the shores.
I looked above and saw no clouds, just the blue skies; I could still hear her voice
The wind blew ever so gently as I move my rudder,
That song can still be heard, yet I know not where she is?
         I looked to find that voice that eludes me, that called me;
But, yet, I found nothing, saw no one.
She sang a sadden song, of lost love, but lost love I knew not?
I am a stranger, afar my abode, a stranger lost in the midst of seas.
Hold and steadfast, for my heart feels allured by the maiden song,
Yes...though my heart be sadden by her song, her voice drifts my soul across the Styx.
God makes all things beautiful; all things have purpose, and is her song,
Whether it be joy or sorrows, her song, is the song of a broken heart.
That took hold my empty vessel, and filled it with joy,
Though I never thought song of sorrow can be taken for a joy.
I sailed far and afar from the shores, and saw the hills moved further away.
I could still hear her song, I looked back and saw her, a fair maiden.
God's grace that showed me, a spirit of a woman, that took my heart and broke it.
Her skin as white as snow, her deep blue eyes that stared into my soul,
her hair long and gold as that of a golden fleece.
She a ghost of the past, singing to guide her lover back into her bosoms
And her lips afar from mine. At last! it was not for me.
A strong wind that force my eyes shut and bent my knees.
As I stood up and saw no more, I heard not her song, aye, neither her voice.
She was gone with the wind.
The song of the fair maiden still resonates in mine heart as I sail a distant shores.
Even if death approaches me and take'th my life,
My words of praises for her beauty will live on forever.

An Ode to Struggle

All the days go by desperately,
Everyday is a day to be overcome,
I am struggling to get through them,
Just to live another day in agony.

I wish to come out victorious,
Of all the turmoil I have to bear,
Of all the pain that I go through,
Of the loneliness that grips my heart.

Each day passes by me unnoticed,
Each day has become my sworn enemy,
Each day I wish for things to change,
Everyday I pray for a miracle to happen.

I hope to get through this unharmed
Without a scar to remind me of this
This story I wish to end well or let me be
Without any expectations of what will be.

FIfty Five and Still Alive - Ode to the Adult Community

So now we sit around and stare
The truth is that there's no one there
Not a soul found on the street
A passing wave would be a treat
At fifty five
While still alive
A choice was made
And plans were laid
As seniors this was all quite new
Now open to a lucky few
A clubhouse with some gorgeous ground
Surely neighbors would be found
Day and night we'd be so busy
Activities would leave us dizzy
So finally we made the switch
Moved right in without a hitch
We then just took a casual walk
To find someone and start to talk
Yet not a soul was to be found
As we made our stroll around
And soon our hearts were full of dread
Had we found the living dead
So now we simply sit alone
Hoping to just hear the phone
So when it's time to sell your home
And find a place to settle down
Remember just to check it out
Or be the only one in town
There's more to life when you've got cash
Then see your neighbor
Take Out trash

one more lonely dream

the thoughts that rest here deep
I’m laying low and waiting
as those bullets whiz past me
it’s those little things that wound
those moments I can’t see
can we reach the pinnacle
or all that we can be?

imagination covers
too heavy in this heat
you try to pull the blanket off
I sit in the hot seat
the gash that will not stop
my mind continues to seep
nothing stops the heartache
of a heart that will still bleed

we lay down here together
as usual I don’t sleep
your hand rests on my body
there’s no comfort there for me
it flows out with the current
a bottle floating at sea
coming back to haunt this room
just one more lonely dream

The right kind of lonely

The absence of your voice
Kind words, kinder deeds
The radio can continue playing the lovers tune.

The emotions yawn like a tiny stop gap
You reached me, dolphin kisses we shared, eyes locked in our own embrace, every inch of
your face.
Otters ottering about in the pod sharing a snog. Holding hands in the flat as we cooked the
tea, I know you never kissed another as many times as me, In the supermarket, in the car,
cycling, showering, kisses, kisses, kissing me.

I wait for when I;m lonely and it's just me.

Tap Dance Ode to the Writer's Pitch

You better be a little rich,
If you choose to make a pitch.
By bus or car you make the trip,
You've trained yourself just not to slip.
The agents sit; a motley crew,
A few may even look at you.
To them it's just the same old hat,
To find some meat stuck in the fat.
The writer wonders what they think,
Is he good or does he stink?
Most go home with little done,
Was this pitch just done for fun?

Ode To A DrunK

Christmas is what it should be!
Not for a drunk and all for glee...
The time he spends on dreaming things...
           He has no wings!

A drink, a smoke, and so it goes...
A life unending, as he throws...it all away...
And then he dreams that, someday,
           he'll be different!

Is someone out there... he can hold?
Unto oneself, but there's no mold...
A life he lives to suffer still...
and so he lives to dream until...
              It's over!

He dreams about another past...
escapes the drama, he makes it last...
just for another day...if only he could play...
            another part!

A part that no-one understands...
for just to fit, so he can band...
together still, without a care...
      There's no-one there!

No-one there except a drunk...
that's just like him,
so he can bunk...
until he's had his fill...

Such delusion, he believes...
that he can balance to receive...
A pardon from the Master's hand...
a never ending journey and...
             a life!

A life he should be living still...
but for a dream that he would kill...
just to belong within the race...
He has no place...
          He doesn't fit!

For just a drink to end the pain...
Let's have one more, so he will gain...
A reprieve from about his past...
That it may last...just for another
                 day!

One lonely Little Lady eating her ice cream

Everywhere people there
I stopped to look at an old lady fair
She was only alone
Licking her ice cream from a crunchy sweet cone
Sitting and enjoying her treat
While many a men around sweep their young ladies off their feet
Nobody came to claim her
Just enjoying what she was having
Not bothering to get up from her chair
My eyes wept for her because she had not a gentle man beside her
We all come and go while the rest of her generation starts to slow
Alas,my friend, they are soon forgotten and are cast out to the wild winds
Everytime that I would come to this shopping mall
My eyes would peer at an old mistress small
Not even a small collie or pup for a companion
Just a little lady enjoying her treasured ice cream

LonelyMAN

Before the sun rises
He opens both eyes
Settling with a breath
Gazing up toward Northern skies
Clouds,o'er this bed
Smiling back and petting his head

"Let Me talk to my one & only God
before this lonely day is done"

He wants me to see
Beyond selfishness or misery
Be kind to the wicked as well
Treat everyone with respect
There is much more of Heaven
than just Lucifer's fiery Hell

The Lonely are pretty
Whistle their song
So clear as the Choir Bell

A Soldier's Song

Sing, your favorite song slowly as it plays.
Dance, to that sweet melody as your body sways.
Transpose, each word as it reaches your heart.
Recall, all the memories tender, that never part.

What will we do when all the songs have been sung?
What emotion will we possess, when every tragic war has been won?
Will we stare sadly into each others eyes, and watch painfully tears go by?
Or, will we hold each other tight and simply sigh?

Can you conceive your favorite song, never to be?
Can you truly preceive the day when there are no more wars, threating us to be free?
Love would be felt in music, as our lonely hearts would recall.
Cold wars are still being fought causing death, as we stain their city walls.

Will our hearts remember rhythm? When all the songs have been sung.
What conflict will be fought, when all the wars have been won?
Without wars, lonely soildiers hearts will sing in gladness.
Without song, our souls, hearts, and minds would sink into madness.

Gladly, sing your favorite song slowly, as it plays.
Let that sweet melody consume you, as your body sways.
Transpose, each word as it reaches your heart.
Recalling, all the cold wars, that man should never start.
