THE LAST DAYS

The days seem to go by so fast. there is a void in the air, the birds have lost their vibrant beat, the ocean has lost its luster, the soil feels solid and dry.

My soul feels as if it has left my body before my death, my dreams haunt my day, the tears stain my steps, my doctor says that it is depression, I say that it is reality, I am intoxicated by society,I am numb by perscriptions.

Why do I feel so isolated within myself? is there no one in my painfully tight shoes? can anyone understand my pain? can anyone melt in my sorrows? why am I this way? why is the world so cruel? why can't I be normal?

Wait! I am normal, what am I saying, I know now, the veil has been lifted, humanity is my enemy, the sins that drip from their sweat, the dread that follows their shadows, their souls of black, their intentions of greed pull a shade across their eyes.

They are destined for doom, they will not be saved, they will not find salvation, they belittle me, they curse me, they shame me, but they are right about one thing, I am different, unlike them, I will be saved in the last days.

Generic Minds

generic minds listen to generic music
have generic thoughts that are unknowingly abusive
watch generic things talk about generic things
gee this generic *****is spreading like a disease
better get your flu shot
thats what they said to me
a suicidal vaccine
a subliminal killing spree
its contagious and the outrageous
thing about it is that the people are blind in an eye
that they didn't even know they had
it's sickening to watch these clueless civilians
inside the looking glass
with nightmares of being free
without a key to their mind
for it is trapped in the frequency
in the illusion of time
bathed in our universe
killing all that refuse to see
those that admit to hypocracy
or see the message in hip hop
how cant you see
the message in the lyrics that
bring adolescents to their knees
from bullet wounds conflicting their flesh
contradicting that they're the best
but the songs keep telling them that they dont need no rest
that they dont wanna go home
that they should ride alone
with the gat as their only companion
and so the only path they choose is the one that they're told
until they grow old and hope turns to a window pane
inside a window pane, until all they feel is pain
they realize that the music itself is ashamed
so whats to look up to
when you cant even speak when you cant even walk because you look so bleak
your eyes are sunken from the tv you're infested with the dee zees
now its too late to turn around and live for your conscious
so when youre screaming oh please
close your eyes and bring your mind to life
open your eyes for the first time
and never wonder why
since the answer this entire time
has been inside
and you better find it before you die
you dont want your soul to be in a pool with all the others
a buncha brothers missing their mothers
but only seeing strangers
only feeling the haters
wishing they would have used their minds when they had them
and now its too late,
now it's time for another new born fate to grab them

Light In Dark

You twisted and diseased creature
Deceitiful little lies your best feature
Slithering around like a snake
From my fantasy coma I awake
Into a much worse tragedy
Into a worse and cruel reality
Where you feel so at home
You decay my soul to the tone
Of your devil delivering laughter
Pushing my peace and mind farther
Into darkness where you dwell
My remaining light your Hell
I'm here to bring an end to your crooked ways
Forced to change wherever your demon lays
I won't stop until I bring you back to life
No longer in darkness full of delightful blithe
In the eyes of the sun shining up on you
My words in the end will prove all too true
This promise I make to you right now
See light in the dark I will show you how
Just open your pointed ears to me
A brighter world soon you will see

Broken Dreams

Do you believe in the things that you've always known,
Can you understand the things you've been shown.
Is it the visions you see that make you believe,
Or is the feelings you get when you've been deceived.
The pain you feel a never ending ache ,
Tearing your heart and soul from you every day.
Time ticks slowly pounding away at you,
Throbbing heart breaking and there's nothing you can do,
Must I settle for these lost and broken dreams,
Because it has all the signs that what it seems.
How much should a man endure to find his way,
It cant possibly be like this hard for me every day.
There is nothing so frustrating as being so confused,
Especially when you've discovered that you've been used.
I will get through this lonely phase I have no doubts,
But I'm sure there will come a day I'll figure it all out.
Cautiously I walk the path that's been laid before me,
In faith I will continue for I know he will let me see.
Life will be thrown at you in so many different ways,
I will be prepared for these things for the rest of my days.
Broken dreams will be the learning tree for me to grow ,
Living my life with Joy Happiness is what I'll always Know.

A Land Bearing Green White Green

Which way leads to the
land of green white
green?
Which way are we
heading?
   A country the wicked
bears the rulership, and
the people sighing
continuously.
   A terrible thing sprouts
beneath the sun: a
pregnant woman
delivering not.
Imps come to lime-light
by snuffing air from the
goose that laid the
golden eggs.
The blind guiding the un
blind.
The weak suppressing
the strong-a terrible
thing.
Like the overthrow of the
gods at Mt. Olympus by
the Titans.
A country where also
thieves appear as men of
integrity.
Land of green white
green,which way?
A land where the
enlightened ones are
overshadowed and
peanuts given to them.
The masses are dogs that
eat the crumbs.
 Which way to go you
Land?
Iliterates stand on
podium of power
bellowing orders as milk
of sorrow known as
dividends of democracy
is passed around.
The machine of progress
manned by the
unproductive.
"There is better
tomorrow" we hear.
Land of green white
green,my country
where rule of law walk
beside anarchy.
The proles are sentenced
to adversity,and there
endured death-like trials.
Chai! Aru! People
dancing on thorns
whimpering as they
throng
along.
I see a new sun rising
from the horizon,hope is
rekindled as its rays
grace on hopeless bodies.
 Look!! there soon be
change!

Heavenly Nevermore

The sun has learned
to nevermore interfere

with the moon
and its stars

To give it a whole world
because the sun

doesn't need to stand in the way,
when it has free reign
of the entire universe.

Deepest Sympathy

Mere words cannot express the loss of a loved-one That is why I am hoping you find some comforting thoughts in these simple phrases: This Charm Bracelet is to remind you of their love, peace, and healing for your life today and always. Each Charm plays a significant role in your daily life. The Cross is the start of the day and thoughts throughout. The Church whether we go or not guides our every step. The Bible is a source of comfort. And, last but not least the Bird teaches the light of day.

Conspiracy: Who Killed The Easter Bunny

A crowded table, all suspended in shock
The sound of the shot dimming to a ‘knock’
Only silence, except for the marching clock
The weapon still smoking; an anonymous glock
WHO KILLED THE EASTER BUNNY?

Loud cries arise from the elongated table,
Jack Frost is shocked, the Tooth Fairy unable
To speak whilst Santa is checking the stable
For clues on the erstwhile maidservant Mable
WHO KILLED THE EASTER BUNNY?

They searched for hours, called in C.S.I,
Panic set in, would the children all cry?
Sandman confirmed the bunny had died
Batman suspected somebody had lied
WHO KILLED THE EASTER BUNNY?

Guests were quizzed, interrogations began
The mystery unfolded when Santa Claus ran,
Grabbing the pies, he tried escaping in a van
But was stopped in his tracks by superman
SANTA KILLED THE EASTER BUNNY!

'Give me drink, rest, and solitude'

Give me drink, rest, and solitude--
these are all the things I long for.
Give me as well your finest food
and I'll ask of you, lass, no more!

My bonnie lass, what's the matter--
why are you all sorry and alone?
Don't be sad because you're fatter
than most, lass, for love loves its own.

Sweet lass, I'll tell you a secret.
If I were a young lad again,
I'd pursue you without regret!
But as I am three-score and ten

years old, indeed, I can never
be the youthful lad you most need.
But your pain won't be for ever:
for your heart will refuse to bleed.

''Little bird, what troubles thee''

Little bird, what troubles thee
is it the worm in your belly
little bird, what pains thee
is it the worm of misery

is it the bitterness in your heart,
or the offense you can't forgive
is it the anguish that sets you apart,
or the hurt that holds you captive

is it the cancer of bitter love,
or the loss of deserved affection
is it the cruel withdrawal of
     his tenderness and compassion

life is much too brief
and youthful love's even briefer still,
your forestalled relief
keeps you from seeing His eternal will

what befalls you
is neither unshared nor a mystery
God sheds His tears for you
in the midst of your painful agony

little bird, what troubles thee
is it the worm in your belly
little bird, what pains thee
is it the bane of misery

Darkness

when you're fast asleep
and thoughts creep into your head
and flood your brain until it weeps
and your mind descends dark and deep
into a land of dead end worlds
where the only way out
is the way you came in
but the road is way too steep
and your feet are made of lead
and every smile is just pretend
and nothing is to be believed
and you're going off the deep end
bleeding rivers of hatred
into a pool of shallow deceit
where every thought is colored red
and every shade of black completes
every nightmare ever conceived
born of blood-stained dreams within dreams
where that person you used to be
is falling into skies of silent screams
and contemplating death
all the while wishing
to be alive again

A Super Man

The rise and fall of a broken soul; the pressure was too much to bear
The letter S was too brave to wear. He was a symbol, a pure form of admiration. Yet his life was
not his own; full grown; denied the freedom of one’s true life journey
He could never fathom an opportunity of free will for he lived to will free others who hide in his
silhouette
The darkest shadow brought an abundance of light to the needy. And greedy.
An unadorned model of self-less love dug him an early grave being a slave to aiding. Although
help was never offered to a man that had a sense of direction. Every step forward followed
echoing steps behind.
His feet became a carrier. The load was heavy
Regret was constant. Where was kryptonite when he needed it?

God cries too

Rejoice with those who rejoice,
weep with those who weep,
that's what God's word says.

When we cry,
He cries too.

Difference is,
He knows what to do.

Only,

We need to be patient,

Because,

His time is not yet,
so let's not judge him,
for that we will surely regret.

Her Final Words

"No." She whispered before drowning into her sorrows.
Her life had been a simple happy one.
There were no pains and no troubles.
Life was life and people were people.
Life was simple.
and life was all about tomorrows.
Life didn't know about sorrows.
Her sorrows.
Those same sorrows that she drowned in never existed.
They were never there, but where?
First to be sad in the naive town of joy.
Sorrow became contagious and what was known as happiness no longer was there.
It was non-exististent.
A meager thought
and a blessed memory.
She tried and tried.
She failed and failed.
Life was no longer hers.
For Pain was her only possession.
Her curse.
She lived and she died.
Yet, her legacy was passed on.
Never was it gone.
"No." She whispered before drowning in her sorrows,
"Save them."

Hey Bartender

Written 2010

Flashing lights and sounds roll by
Hear the sound of muffled sighs
Sullen words cannot express
Just confess, and lift it off your chest
Told the priest would hear your cries
If you don't feed him blatent lies

Oh he's your only friend
But he don't want to hear your sins
He's off doing his own thing
But it's far from priestly things
Oh he wont look in your direction
Let alone show you affection
Even when he hears your plea,
"Hey bartender please!"
Gone are all your hopes and dreams
All you ever sought to be
Heard from all across the room
Are many empty pleas,
"Oh won't you pity me?"

You can close your eyes and count to 10
Again and again
But he wont come back to help his fellow men
He was your only friend, but he left you all alone
To wallow in your sin
He failed to listen to your prayer
Now your lost in dark dispair

You can hide behind your cries
But he'll see into your eyes
Until the time you leave his bar
And wobble to your car

layers peel

I had a dream,
It was a nightmare.
I remember nights where,
I’d sleep.

I don’t wanna feel lonely,
it feels too real.
But if I don’t feel lonely,
Then I don’t feel.

Again my layers are starting to peel,
Which is a sad shame,
I was just starting to heal.

Less Than A Day

The touch of your whispers has blown through the air
And the wave of summer disappears in the sand
There’s nothing to stop these memories are gone
Let the playbook now rest for the feelings they’ve stopped
Slowly it turns the small hands on your wrist
The knots in your belly have clenched like a fist
You picture the east and close her eyes
For the dawn’s a coming in all of our lives
The night’s now bleeding forever it tilts
Circling the orbit no rest from the filth
Rivers are flowing and spirits are dim
And the skies from the ocean will always stand still
The pain from the east has moved to the west
These days are numbered just like the rest
Blind in the rivers the hand clears it away
The whole world has changed in less than a day

The Blue Ribbon

A stripe of blue in an ocean of black
Three hundred miles below
At the still time before a thunderstorm
There lies the dazzling beauty
A miniscule of infinity in a blue ribbon glistening in night sky
On the black crescent earth
Dumb, we feel dumb, in the tempest of mirth
From three hundred miles up a tiny blue speckle
A sense of pity in our entity
As we sometimes feel
Looking at a vast ocean from its shore
How poor our reality is
Our home and hearth
Just a speck in space
So was the mercury across the sun
Here in Kolkata yesterday
A dot, a fleck, almost of no worth
Yet we can yearn and earn many sublimes
Your beautiful face in starlit chimes
The world of our thoughts is mighty complex
As we reflect
On the myriad emotions
And the associated countless notions
Flooding over our perception
As we look back dazed from so high up
At the majestic blue ribbon
That is our earth
Environed by black night space

A moment ideal
Real blending in the surreal

LEAN ON

when we're tired and weary,
lean on Him.
so much that we have to do,
our journey must still go on.
lifting up each other,
trying to help as much as the other.
humility as a character:
begins to make us better,
helping us to be stronger,
toward a living testimony of support,
leaning with a purpose,
shared in our goals,
made truer in His plans.
throughout He has loved us and cared;
even, though there's miles to go,
we have each other's shoulders to rest on.

Sympathy for the Moron

As I ride this inconsistent city bus at 4:22 not 4:15; I realize that I am the miscreant among people who simply are traveling home. Clearly the people on this bus should be looking at ME as the dirty vagrant begging for bus fare. They should be looking at ME with despondent judgment. I should be looked at with a disdainful glance; for my intelligence is clearly questionable.
I have turned into the crazy guy talking to himself at the bus stop. Cursing at the bus for being 4 minutes late. Public transportation is filled with people who are riding for convenience. People who don't want to pay for parking as they are dropped off at their parked cars. People who live in the inner city with no other choice but to ride the bus. I ride because of stupid choices that have landed me here. I am the minority. The anomaly. I am the person one shakes their head at, thinking, what an idiot. Can I not blame society or my childhood? Can I not envy the "normal" people driving with freedom blowing in their hair? I have grown envious of the mundane. Is there no sympathy for morons anymore?

Gravel

Wraps your lips around my pain,

recite the words as if they

were meant to fall from your own.

Some nights, I think you can

feel the gravel in my mouth,

as if it were beneath your feet.

Stand here with me,

hold the blade.

Twist my memory and

let it gush along the

path of our bitter prowl.

Leave it here

with me.

Pink dreams and sympathy in glass

Pink dreams and sympathy in glass
I will suggest to you for nothing,
Smile brightly, live by me, day'll pass,
Together we will stop the dancing.
I breathe by you let goblets sing
Oh, god, forgive, today I'm idle,
I kiss your sinful lips, they sting,
They are so red, my vicious idol.
And now let's drink the love with greed,
Admire the coloured dreams for ending,
We are alone long time, we need
for others. Fly without the landing!
Pink dreams and sympathy in glass
I will suggest to you in racing,
Smile brightly, live by me, day'll pass,
But truthful love is never passing.

When vicious things will be the saint

Silly tenderness’s wanted with body
For what reason its brilliant bloom
Heart was hurting more often, it’s hurting
It was tempting to somewhere like doom.
Here the banal things took their beauty
And the vicious things will be the saint
And black colour’ll be white in the future
Something hard will be easy, it’s fate.
So long time I have breath without patience
Can I feed youthful fired brains?
And I give trough the shade of temptation
Just new sense for the words, just new sense.
And the serious things will be funny
And the laughable will be the great
All is coloured, the being is sunny
All’s decorous according the fate.
Silly tenderness’s wanted with body
And the passion is stronger today
I want feel with my skin you in hunting
I want you without something delay.
And the banal things took their beauty
And the vicious things will be the saint
And black colour is white, my future
made the hard things so easy, it’s great.

I like that you are ill, but not by me

I like that you are ill, but not by me,
I like that I'm not drowned within your fever,
that heavy sphere of earth will never be
ran out under the feet of us like river.
I like, I can be funny, yes, i do,
to be so carefree playing not with phrases,
and do not blush with wave of shyness anew
in time of touch of our sleeves as blazes.

I like, my presence doesn't make you stop
to hold somebody else in your embraces,
you don't predict me burn without some hope
in hell, because I kiss the other faces.
That you're my tender do not call my name
so tender in daylight and in night hours,
that in the silent church the candle flame
won't sing us hallelujah with the flowers.

I thank you with my heart and with my hand,
that you don't know me, but you love me tender
for my serenity of night in lonesome bed,
for our rare meetings and their splendor.
That we don't walk in night under the moon,
There's no the sun above our heads, it's queer,
that you are ill, alas, not with my tune,
that I'm not ill, alas, by you, my dear.
