The Colour of Love

The Colour of Love

Kaleidoscope of spectrums
On the outside... looking in
There’s only one colour—Love—
Bound by prejudice.

Archaic transmutations
Bequeath this cancerous blight
Upon each generation
For mass genocide.

Rose-coloured glasses can not
Tint the mind of the insane…
Only the revelation
Of true love unveils.

Join The Party

I’m inviting all of you here on Poertrysoup
To come and join the party, we’ll be a wonderful group
Not a drink and dance rave that’s no good at all
A political party we won’t be too small

We could oust the governments and dictatorships
When we get our act together they’ve had their chips
For we could write a manifesto in verse
We’ll tell the truth but would that be a curse

As I read the words of all my friends out there
I know that we could show a lot more care
President and Prime minister we have them both
All ready to stand and take the oath

The poetry party has many women candidates
Who could hold their own in any political debates
So why not do it join forces hand in hand
Make the world a better place by what we planned

With all our wisdom, love and peace to offer
We could fill every last country coffer
Stop the starving from dying due to government greed
All together we soupers could succeed

With a depth of poets who could make people smile
Under our banner a better world by a mile
For we who write see the problems ahead
We can lead through the maze instead of being led

So come on guys shall we give it a go
Show the lying politicians what we know
Turn the world from hate and war
To love and peace we could I’m sure

Lost Humanity

Time comes and goes
People pass by and fly
We have only memories left
But we remember the sad ones
And easily forget the happy ones
We live in regrets
Saying... what if?
We live in fear
Saying... what will?
We have lost our humanity
We live in the past
Forgetting the present
As if there is only the past tense
We live in memories
Forgetting the future
As if there is no future
We love to brag about our ancestors
But what have we done now?
We all are losing ourselves
War... Drugs...
We think we are fighting for a cause
But that cause is only our greed
We think we are building the future
But we are destroying the future
We are losing our humanity
And there is little left of it...
It is time to stop the war
And move along with peace
Nations send armies to others
Saying:"We've come to civilize you"
According to the dictionary
Civilize is defined as conqueror
Send not armies! Send food and medical supplies!
Why do you come in the name of peace?!
If you only bring with you destruction!
What is happening to Afghanistan?
Why do you send guns instead of pills!?!
Or is the Vito more important than lives?
I am not from Europe, I am not from America
and I am NOT from the Middle East...
I do not know such things...
I am from Earth, regard of my nation
Nations are only names, we are all one
We are connected; we live on the same planet!
Why does one want to kill his brother?
IS IT FUN? WHY DOESN'T EVERYONE TRY IT?
I do not want to lose my humanity
Knowing that little is left in this world
This world can yet be fixed...
And it starts with two words: Love and equality
And it starts with one road: kill the Vito
Cause if it was a man, I would've killed it for the best
You think Hitler is gone?! Well now there is a stronger one
Look at Jerusalem! Hitler wouldn't dare do such things!
Why do we keep looking at the past?!
Forgetting what now is happening!
If the same ones who were massacred by Hitler
Are the same ones doing worse to Arabs?!
Why do we spend billions on weapons?
Instead of spending them on science?
Or at least save other nations from starvation
Why are we better than the Africans?
We have the same God! Or is it because of their color?
I just wish to ask one question to every human being...
WHAT WILL YOU SAY WHEN YOU STAND BEFORE GOD?

--------------------------

A tribute to all nations and hope all be safe :)

There Was A Time We Weren't Ashamed Of God

There was a time in America, when the Bible was taught in the schools. The ten commandments were displayed, as “God’s set of rules.” There was a time in America, where the cross could be displayed. Even in public places, people came together and prayed. There was a time in America, there was no “church and state” separation. As people all across this country asked God to help this nation. There was a time in America, where people knew right from wrong. You could see it in the way they lived, and could here it in their song. There was a time in America where one was proud to be a Christian. One could take stand for holiness, without coming under “suspicion.” There was a time in America, when mom and dad were together… Now, any kind of a commitment to marriage seems lost forever There was a time in America, where many were proud of “tradition.” There seems to be a lack of any kind of “spiritual nutrition.” There was a time in America, where so many could proudly say; “I’m going to read the bible and go to church on Sunday.” This is the time for America, to wake up and try to understand. We need to seek God right now! All over this land! This is the time for America, to listen and begin to hear… The coming of our Lord is drawing ever so near! NOW is the time to seek the Lord, while he may be found! The word of God needs to be read in every city and town! Won’t you too seek God and listen to his voice today? Simply give him your heart and life… This could be YOUR day! By Jim Pemberton

BACK TO ORIGIN

People are commonly different
Symbol of diversity piece
Pure race doesn’t exists

Color and creed are just an identity
Believe only in human history
God sculptured them from clay

People are equally created
Having many opposites
But respecting others taste

When everyone is treated equal
Nothing appears but peace in hand
Discrimination, disunity and, suffering won’t be born anymore

Average Age 19

Once again, the powers that must
In rise again in what we trust
An overseas conflict, another war
Just what in the hell are we fighting for

Families are asking, Korea has just passed
Generations again reft, how long will it last
A country in need, to rebuild again
Flags at half mast, in wind and rain strain

Once again into war, sent by the Washington Post
To send back reports to hit home the most
Military observers were the first to be sent in
Another chapter of man entering existing sin

I'm witnessing our ariel power, Lam Son 719
US planners determine their incursion, saying all will be fine
Along the Mekong River, we'll carpet bomb their supply trail
Tons of munitions and napalm, this spread surely cannot fail

Many sorties are being flown, for the wounded and the dead
Whilst Nixon and his cronies, aren't thinking with their heads
The news of losses has reached me, nineteen have been killed
Eleven missing, fifty nine wounded, more American blood spilled

Seven fixed wing aircraft, more sons in action loss
Whilst back at home more protests, fading the dyeing's gloss
To to this job that I do, I was never prepared for this
To witness such bloody scenes, and ignore that life is bliss

How can I write about a soldier, whose name I'll never know
Killed at nineteen years old, his family he'll never see grow
Or even explain to his parents, when carried from the AH-1
His body bullet riddled and limp, when lifted it bloodily run

I never went back to the theatre, called the Vietnam War
Having witnessed the wanton killing, what were we fighting for
This colonial conflict that started, us on the side of France
So many came back as strangers, many to live in trance

We Must Pay the Price

Everything in life has a price
Someone must always pay
Life begins and ends with a price
If someone don't, you must somehow pay
If you don't, who must pay?

You're earning income because you had to pay
You're enjoying because you had to pay
You're being punished because you had to pay
You're called a lover because you had to pay
You're seen a friend because you had to pay

You're on earth because a man and a woman had to pay
you're secured because the police had to pay
You're eating because the farmer had to pay
You're hopeful after death because God had to pay
You're reading this poem because the poet had to pay

We enjoy free lunch now because someone before us paid the price
We are independent now because someone before us paid the price
We are healthy now because someone before us paid the price
We are here now paying still because someone before us paid the price
We can't afford not to pay because someone before us paid the price

Two Old Friends

Dusty roads and fresh grass
summertime rodeos approaching fast
riding with a friend down on sandbars

A piece of hay hanging out of his mouth
though some trapped water, out the other side
I had forgotten this wonderful life

I still see some twenty year old boy helping me up
now a sixty year old man rides in front
pointing all the changes in the last five years

I could not believe what time I lost
4 am to a cowboy is not early enough
my pants soaking wet my boots fixed

We rode on down to his dads favorite spot
to meet God when the sun comes up
we turned to face it and did not say a word

God's spirit was the only thing we heard
as earth to air, and water to fire, met in the sky
right there two old friends prayed to God

Silver Thumb

She’s the girl, the girl with the tender touch
A spider's touch
Such a cold thumb
Beckons you to enter her web of sin
But don't go in

colorful words she will pour in your ear
But her lies can't disguise what you fear
For a silver man knows when she's kissed him
It's the kiss of death from

Miss Silver Thumb
handsome man beware of her heart of silver
This heart is cold

Silver words she will pour in your ear
But her lies can't disguise what you fear
For a silver man knows when she's kissed him
It's the kiss of death from

Miss Silver Thumb
handsome man beware of her heart of silver
her heart is cold

She loves only silver
Only silver
She loves silver
She loves only silver
Only silver
She loves Silver

The Evoultion of Learning (Part Two)

As long as various people run various nations
There will forever be war
What the world needs is one leader
A common man who believes in the working class
As well as the Lord
Instead of one Nation under God
Lets make it one World under God
And just let each individual decide what he or she wishes to call that God
So I here by nominate our dear friend Vince Suzadail Jr.
The first candidate of the new world order
He seems to have the best Political views I’ve heard
And I think he alone could do a much better job
Than all the leaders of all the nations are doing
At least I’m certain he couldn’t do any worse
And that way all the super intelligent people devising ways
Of destroying our world
Could find something more constructive to spend their time on
Like raising a crop or milking a cow
Saving a child or helping elderly with their needs
There are plenty of folk who need a hand
Lets all start offering them ours instead of cutting theirs off
I’m just a simple man
My actual world is very small
My family, friends and neighbors
I love you all and hope you know I’ll do anything for you I can
There is no malevolence left in me
I know how to make and use a shank, zip gun or small explosive
But I’ve learned not to
For I’ve learned to think with my heart and soul
They do a much better job than my mind
I just wish the great minds of the world
Were smart enough
To figure out what I have
And learn to love with all of their hearts

Mirror with a Gun

Cast attention on the dreams we have caught
They’re nothing of our own
Filtering our hearts right through the dark
Until we give in to the unknown

Casting lights upon the pointless death
In the wars that we’ve become
It’s so sad to see what will really die
The part we kill because we run

Cast attention on the lies we create
Manifesting every fear
Will these walls protect me from the pain?
Will the static drive the tears?

Casting lights upon the obvious truth
That we can’t remember love
Because every notion that we think is right
Was not handed from above

Cast our questions into timeless stone
It’s time to walk away
Step again into the lonely dark
It’s time to feed the pain

Casting spells that only weave an end
This is what we’ve become
Friendly faces that will kill again
We’re just a mirror with a gun

What Is This Church All About

What Is This Church All About?

Is this church meant for people like me?
Is this where God really wants me to be?

They claim to be filled with God’s spirit.
When it comes to HIS truth... Can they give it?

I’m sure there’s many who come and attend
It’s more than “church on Sunday,” that we must spend!

We must reach out to the lost and the oppressed!
After all, Christ gave us his very best!

May we all preach the gospel and God’s holiness!
And strive to seek his awesome righteousness!

Living for Jesus must be a daily walk and experience!
Not simply based on our “ambitious self appearance.”

God isn’t interested in a denomination or a title…
He wants to know… Do we really believe the Bible?

He’s not interested in the money put in the offering plate.
He wants to know; “Are you ready
 to enter heaven’s gate?”

May we strive to serve Jesus with a zeal and passion!
And be filled with his holiness and compassion!

May we serve Jesus from a heart of humbled confession!
And making our commitment to him,
 our #1 possession!

“Unless the Lord builds the house.”
They labor in vain that build it!
Let’s seek the power of God!
May his presence completely fill it!!

This Memorial Day We Salute Our Veterans

We salute every soldier who’s
 served this great nation.
And offer a heart of thanks
 and appreciation!

We salute each member
of our armed forces.
And are thankful for their
 efforts and resources!

We salute the many who
protect our borders too.
We’d be in trouble…
If not for people like YOU!

We salute every son and
daughter lost in a war.
YOU are what serving this
 country is meant for!

We salute the officers who’ve
guided our women and men.
Our prayers are with you!
And our love from within!

We salute our veterans!
Wherever they may be!
Those who served on
 land, air and sea!

Offering prayer to the
 Lord is our belief…
That he will guide our
 Commander-in-Chief!

As we observe
Memorial Day this year…
Let’s offer our soldiers
 love, hope and cheer…

May God bless them in
 all they endeavor
And his peace be with them
 today and forever!!

he is leaving home

In great respect of the band I grew up listening to
as sure as Mom passed down Saturday Chores
for I had been chosen to scrub bathroom floors `

Yet a familiar sound would bring me to keep scrubbing
The red album, The blue album , The White album
Then .. Abbey Road , always remembering the sad look on
Ringo's face , something hard to understand underneath~

I get it now, what you were saying all those years ago ,
the many sad lonely tears , secret tears , secret fears
For Maxwell's Hammer was a real one . It wanted silence

Going back ..remembering when John Lennon died
I was in Arkansas saddened with the world .
Then seeing his face saying " Drag isn't it "
No .. this was not my hero in music and song .

he was a stand in hired William , he filled his shoes
bringing diversity to create so much beautiful music from loss

One left standing , alone;; grief struck on back cover ~
The other identity hidden, tried to be part of ..coming together

                            his world of secrets
He to suffers today , in fear , Faul~

Too many years gone by .let us tell the Truth. Let us be free
The very sad long and winding Road ~
Let us Bury our real Paul.

No more " Mystery tour "
                             No more fear

I Went to Church Last Sunday

I Went to Church Last Sunday… I went to church last Sunday, and heard a lesson… I felt like I was almost in a “delicatessen.” A “menu” was served, with a “meal” given. And a “pep talk’” on “how good we’re livin’! We were asked to shake a hand, “and meet a friend.” “But don’t say anything that may offend!” Our comfort was sought after, with “love” in mind! We were taught to be “considerate and kind!” We sang a few songs, and raised a few hands… And got up and down, all through the stands! A pastor spoke a message, he wanted to be taught. A “feel good” message is what he sought! How many “feel good” messages do we need? In what direction does this church want to lead? Is it one that doesn’t have a fear of God, from within? Is this a place where one can find freedom from sin??? We need more than a Sunday lesson, to change this nation! We need God’s power! With Holy Ghost conviction! We need pastors that are on fire, with a passion and zeal! And the believe that Christ’ coming is very real! May there be a new focus, of Christ’ death on the cross! And much more emphasis on reaching the lost! Going to church On Sunday, doesn’t mean a thing… If living 100 percent for Jesus, doesn’t mean anything! May your church on Sunday be stirred from above! And be filled with God’s power, his holiness and love!!! By Jim Pemberton

God's Purpose of the Rainbow

There’s many people who claim they’ve nothing to “hide!”
They tend to use the rainbow
as a source of their “pride.”

But if you read in the book of Genesis, it is revealing.
God’s purpose of the rainbow had a different meaning!

The rainbow was there when much
 of mankind disappeared!
There was a promise of God that was so very clear.

He promised to never again destroy man with a flood.
This was his promise... An extension of his love!

It was never intended as his approval for perversion!
Mankind still needs a Jesus filled holy conversion!

The colors of the rainbow can’t wash away sin’s dark stain!
This can only happen by the
 power of Jesus’ name!

The colors are beautiful… But man’s heart is filled with deceit!
Without the soul cleansing power of Jesus…
 We’re never complete!

No court decision can give the freedom that many desire!
Only the power of the cross can
 change you this very hour!

The only way to find equality with God, is through the cross!
Without his words of truth…
We are forever LOST!

Look past the colors of the rainbow! Seek the power of the blood!
Then you too, can be changed from
 God’s power from above!

U: “Lift up those glasses, now here’s a toast!”
Q: (Yes, question every course we’re going.)
U: “We’re the country that we love the most!”
Q: (Or a crisper wind will soon be blowing.)

Pledge Of Allegiance, Revisited

I Pledge Allegiance
a solemn vow of obedience, from the earliest age of grievance,
when found deliverance, one people, united against tyranny and intolerance,
become the model of democracy and toleration

To The Flag
the symbol of once colonization come together in celebration,
a new unconquerable nation, a successful castration,
of oppression and dictation

Of The United States Of America
a conglomeration of peoples form one nation,
13 colonies a single relation, one voice, one oration,
tread on me, expect retaliation

And To The Republic
a democracy, its creation, the Constitution, its foundation,
agreeable to all in origination, fiercely guarded against demolition,
militarization, and impregnation, over all these years, still on station

For Which It Stands
the protector of all oppressed lands, the world over she lends a hand,
her signature, her blood, in foreign sand

One Nation
from sea to sea, whether rich or poor, some vocal, others, chose to ignore,
those who guard the shore, those who knock on heavens door,
one nation, esprit de corps

Under God
in a time when belief was strong, today, should not be wrong,
having been with us so very long, a few may sing a different song,
most will believe, as they have, all along

Indivisible
one, as a whole number, cannot be divided by any other,
many have tried under guise of brother, only to be denied by the mother

With Liberty And Justice For All
the means to end all oppression, infinitely wrong with transgression,
succession, regression, and repression along

Our Pledge of Allegiance
a pledge of a nation, a history profound, one indivisible number,
all it takes, to be no longer allowed

If Old Men Fought

An old man looking out his door,
gaze fixed on a distant shore,
reminiscing to a time, not of happiness,
or, the prospect of a bright future,
to when he was sick to his very core,
to when as a youth, he went to war

A time before infallibility had meaning,
patriotism and bravado the craze,
the future was still unknown,
vigor for life at its all time high,
a time for romance, partying, buying,
no thought of pain, deformity, dying

Too young to understand or question,
ship to foreign shore, medals abound,
will impress the girls next time in town,
sacrifice not temporary,
forever more,
a legacy etched into a wall, few will remember,
flesh shredded, burned, torn,
families mourn

A time, when he willingly went to war,
will happen no more,
all lost in youth, now unrelenting,
no blind obedience,
minimal risk,
long life, his number one ambition

As he turns back from the door,
he thinks of the youth,
here now, soon no more,
lessons never learned,
the call to war,
to common the roar,
complacency the mood,
another generation removed

The old man agonizes
over what was originally not known,
war is preventable,
life too precious to waste,
the solution simple,
his vision, maybe too late

Send old men to the front to fight,
arthritis, heart disease, poor eyesight,
let the youth enjoy their life,
his near over, its only right

Send old men, to the front, to fight
ask them to give up their life,
patriotism and bravado, still alive,
will and desire would not last the night,
old men do not rush to death in their twilight,
failure inevitable, the old man smiles,
knows he's right

Wars not possible,
if old men, are sent to fight

We Need God Back Into Our Schools

We Need God Back Into Our Schools!

There are some trying to remove God from this nation!
They do is under; “a church and state separation.”

For many years, God was taught in our schools!
Until the Supreme Court took it away, with it’s rules!

As so many young people look to fill life’s “void.”
They try many things that they think they’ll enjoy!

Rather than having God’s word to obey and live by.
They choose the kind of life that they will die by!

Drugs, sex and violence of many perverted kinds.
Are what is now filling so many young people’s minds!

Read the headlines! Many young people are stressed out!
Yet our government can’t seem to figure it out!

Another shooting… Another act of violence appears!
While any kind of answer seems to have disappeared!

The answer is not more money to solve their problem!
No matter how much the government tries to solve them!

Let me give you answer. It’s called “read the Bible 101!”
It’s time to repent to God the father, the spirit and the son!

Our young people need God brought back into their life!
And allow him to heal their brokenness and strife!

Jesus Christ is the solution for which many are asking!
Only he can give anyone a life that’s everlasting!

Please come Lord Jesus! And heal the wounded hearts!
It’s everyone one of us, that it needs to start!

No court or school can separate God’s love for you and me!
Where will you spend your eternity?

Our Country's Soul Is Being Torn Apart

Our Country’s Soul Is Being “Torn Apart”

The very soul of America is being “torn apart.”
It’s a problem that’s striking at our very heart.

There’s a “blowing wind.” A “time for change.”
As the country’s moral fabric is being “rearranged.”

As many question what the true meaning of life is for…
Many don’t seem to know what’s wrong or right anymore!

As so much pornography is allowed into our homes…
The moral decay is “eating” right at “the bones.”

Many have a hard time “defining what marriage is.”
So many are really “messed up” in how they live!

The news seems to be “fascinated” by man’s depravity…
Leaving a huge vacuum of a monstrous “moral cavity.”

Many who attend church want what’s
 “soothing to their ears.”
A God of holiness and righteousness
 is what they “fear!”

As we look around as to what our society is becoming…
God’s judgement is soon! It is surely coming!

We must come back and leave all of our “false idols!”
We must come back to the God of the Bible!

Jesus must be our cord of love the forever binds!
It’s only in him can we find true love for our minds!

It’s only in Jesus that we can find a purpose and meaning!
It’s only in him that we need to put our
 trust and start believing!

He is and always will be the right choice to be taken…
Without him, our country’s is “doomed and forsaken.”

He brings healing and righteousness
“beneath his wings…
He is what we truly need!
He is our EVERYTHING!

A Slavery Mentality

Believe in what I am told or what I see
This war is bitter and I aspire to be free
Free from these shackles and discrimination
Free from selective elimination
We call our children mistakes so we can free ourselves of responsibility
And our babies are dying in the streets while we accept no liability
Governed by aggression it’s said that only the strong survive
But instead of showing strength we only know hostility
Creating a place where these demons thrive
A Child’s innocence is used for selfish gain
So mommy can get high and feel no pain
A child that knows no love has no true perception of reality
And the system has no love our children are lost on technicality
Now your babies will have babies searching for the love that they lack
They should have had love unconditional
But instead they turn to crack
Because their family has made it traditional
There is nothing like the cries of a neglected child
Mommy is too high to provide
Taught too young to hold it all inside
Poison their minds with dirty little secrets they are forced to hide
Teach them to look for nothing and that’s all you will find
Because that is all that’s left inside
Fill their minds with worldly possessions
Take what you can get despite the moral transgression
Take Godout of our schools because money is the new respect
Craving only negative attention
Because of the love they now reject
First born to poverty and aware before their time
Unable to provide life’s necessities
They are pushed towards drug sales and crime
Society will blame this transgression on lack of affection
But really they are affected by lack of direction
No money to feed the hungry and poor
Our inspiration is music, TV, drugs, guns and war
Poor because they have been dominated and oppressed
Push us too regress
Give to those who already have by taking from those who have less
The only way to survive is to murder, hustle and deceive
There is a better way of life
But not a better way to make them believe
A better way to teach us to accept this fate is what they crave
A better way to give us the mentality of a slave
Their methods of birth control created to control the minority
We are now the majority
They are scared to death we have become the priority
Our people born of whips and chains and still left unbroken
Fed our children’s sorrows from which we choke
there are still too many truths left unspoken

A Call to Action

Queasy anxiety, a fearful edginess of dread,
an old and omnipresent sense of doom
taint the times that random opportunity affords
to slip convention's chains, to openly proclaim
a saner point of view, a logical rejection
of muddy, inane thinking, of tradition-bound
adherence to stupidity's insistent songs
that perpetuate a myriad of wrongs.
Let there be no turning back; face the fears, be the change --
for diversity, humanity, acceptance, brotherhood,
and love. Explain, support, convince. Break the silence:
come out, come out, whoever and wherever you may be!

Why Do We Preach Tolerance and Love

Tolerance and love is preached… But, at what price?
Too often we forget about Jesus’ sacrifice!

His death was because our sin counted against us.
He died on the cross because he truly loves us!

How dare we “cheapen” his work on the cross!
In today’s “political correctness..” We have lost!

In the love and acceptance, we call it “inclusion.”
This has led many into a serious “confusion.”

Many want the loving side of God. I can’t blame them!
But those who seek his holiness…
Can you name them?

God is a God of love. But he requires holy living too!
This is not a request but a command
me and you!

If it’s tolerance and love you want… Look no more!
You’ll be able to find it washed up on sin’s shore!

The people of Israel wanted “free love.”
 Look what it got them!
Being slaves and captives, is what
 it taught them!

God is a loving God but is also as a consuming fire!
Living a righteous life is what he really desires!

“Without holiness… No man shall see him.”
That’s why he sent Jesus, to the world beneath him!

Won’t you allow your sins to be totally forgiven?
Only Jesus can change the way
 you’ve been livin’!

He gives eternal life to those who
 diligently seek him!
The choice is yours to repent and receive him!

Man's Corruption God's Redemption

Man's Corruption... God's Redemption!

The Bible speaks of man's sin and corruption.
That's why God has offered us, his redemption!

The heart is desperately wicked above all things.
There's an evil corruption that sin brings!

The Lord searches our heart and tests our ways.
He watches our lives, all of our days!

There's nothing good in ourselves.
Not now, or ever!
Without God's mercy...
We're doomed forever!

But, through Christ, there's a way and a plan!
He made this available to every woman and man!

His gift of salvation is a message of love, made clear!
The coming of Jesus Christ,
 draws ever so near!

We can trade our sinful corruption,
for a new way of living!
Won't you come before the Lord,
with a heart of giving?

Giving our life to Jesus,
is the best thing to do!
By his power and grace, you can be
made BRAND NEW!

I'm thankful for his salvation!
 Mercy has been applied!
Because of Christ' death on the cross…
I'm now sanctified!

What Does Marriage Mean to YOU

What Does Marriage Mean to YOU?

What all hear various definitions
 of what marriage means.
Not realizing the consequences
 this often brings!

There’s often a lack of commitment and faithfulness.
Many still looking for a true source of happiness!

This institution, that God set up as a husband and wife.
Needs to have his spirit,
 to guide our life!

It’s no wonder why, there’s many falling apart!
It’s causing heartache and many broken hearts!

No court in the land can wash away sin’s dark stain.
When adultery happens, things aren’t the same!

May we all seek to ask God
 to strengthen our home!
He’s there to help us!
 When we feel all alone!

We need the blood of Jesus to daily cleanse us!
He wants to do this! Because he loves us!

Jesus remains committed, faithful and strong!
His word will teach us what’s right and wrong!

May we seek HIS guidance and council!
You’ll find, that he is always most helpful!

Please Jesus… Heal the broken families
 across this nation!
For only you can provide
 a much needed foundation!

Let There Be Light

Ignite your heart and let there be light
When darkness of lust ushers love and peace take flight
The claws of wars and strife maul the face of mankind
Termite of time swallows the soul and mind

Souls are blackened with pretence and lies
The colorful rainbow vanishing from skies, ugliness thrives
The demon of greed let loose, multiplies
The ravaging of earth being witnessed by skies

Let us harness the wild horse of desires
Life is short build no empires
Listen O you! Mubaraks, Gaddafis, Saddams and likes
Repent before the mighty hand of Providence strikes

Cyrus, Caesar and Alexander’s might
All vanished and nowhere in sight
Their pomp, grandeur, diamonds and gold
Perished, robbed, squandered and sold

Why then rob, steal and store
Insatiable lust wanting more and more
The glamour of wealth you so much adore
Vanishes through the other door

The edifice of your political power, your strength
Your greed and lust going to any length
Have sealed the destiny of all oppressed
Frail, embittered, forlorn, depressed

You caterers of misery, anguish and sorrow
Known tyrants of history tomorrow
Those that rely on shrewdness and cunning
Those that natures calls keep shunning

The wealth of the nation, a trust treat
Listen to what sense and sanity entreat
Ignite your heart with the flame of love and care
Spare the nation from anguish and despair

Political Correctness Brings Spiritual Weakness

Political Correctness Brings Weakness!

In our country’s pursuit of “political correctness…”
We’re not in a position of strength… But weakness!
It’s like you can’t hardly say anything anymore…
And you find yourself outside the courtroom’s door!
We may think we’re strong… But we’re weakened!
You may ask; “how could all of this happen???”

We’ve attempted to replace God with a “new morality.”
This has brought a new generation of “moral depravity.”
We bend our laws to what is called; “constitutional.”
And forget about what is truth! And what is biblical!
Even the ten commandments are often ridiculed and scorned.
As a great rise of ungodly living has been formed!
A tide of sexual perversion is what has taken place!
Bringing into my homes, much heartache and disgrace!

God’s truth is often “thrown out,” and avoided!
While a “new kind of living” has often been decided!
We need YOU Jesus! Now! More than ever before!
Our sins, on the old rugged cross, is what he bore!
Jesus is the answer to our problems! He is the solution!
His blood can take away all of the sinful pollution!
Please dear lord, touch and convict us with your power!
Please heal this nation! We need YOU this hour!

Morals Morality and Ethical Direction

Morals, Morality and Ethical Direction… We often hear of morals, morality and ethical direction. What they mean, I suppose, is “one’s discretion.” Very seldom, is anything from the Bible being heard. Why obey God’s commandments? Why, that’s absurd! Many claim, that as adults, just about anything is “o.k.” As long as you don’t do what they do, but what they say! Many are “bombarded” with sexual type of temptations… Often leading many to get into perverse addictions! We set up boards of people to try to be “ethically clean.” When it comes down to it… What does this really mean? Can a person be totally immoral, but 100% ethical?’ Does this, in some way, seem kind of “heretical?” Why believe in God? He’s been ruled “unconstitutional.” While many listen to the news, which is often “delusional!” We hear of perversions, that are often “glorified.” Do we hear of those wanting to be Godly sanctified? If you’re confused, and need some kind of spiritual guide! Look to God’s word! He has nothing to hide! The kind of morality and ethics that you’ll ever need… Can be found in the Bible! Open it and read! Why not read from Genesis through Revelation? We can all find what we need! Across our nation! God and his word give us a true moral compass for living! His life for our own lives, is what he’s freely giving! Won’t you come to Jesus for godly direction today? He is here! And wants to help you find HIS way! By Jim Pemberton

We are Tausug Nation
Defending independence
Free from the enemies
Stood not to get oppressed

Our Nation ruled
Of the country’s independence
Never conquered from then
We shall develop our land

Our country, nation is known
Home of courageous person
Bound only in one faith
Never care of the death

Tumantangis, Dahu peaks of our land
To Bagsak, Sinumaan
And to all the mountains here
Only one God is aimed

Zamboanga, Basilan, North Borneo, Palawan
Centre is in Sulu land
Ruled by the Sultan
From the early point of time

Our nation is united
In the name of faith is complete
Only God is firm
Determined not to get conquered

Land of the pearl garden
Sulu Sea in the world is famous
From the South and North
And East and West

Blood of Martyrs flowed in the vein of the Sug Nation
Fought to defend
Flag rose like Vinta strip
Eternal pledge appeared

There's A Web of Temptation And Sin

There’s a Web of Temptation and Sin!

There’s a web of temptation and a lot of sin…
That brings slavery and a strong bondage within!

Throughout this land, there’s an evil surge!
While many lives, seem to be getting “submerged!”

Being submerged, into a life, that many believe in.
They become perverted, but want all to receive them!

The “love and acceptance,”
 that many desire.
Puts them on a tightrope! A very thin wire!

As the web of temptation and sin begin to grow.
It brings a bondage that damages the soul!

They may want to have “love and acceptance.”
But in their hearts, needs to be a godly repentance!

May the holiness of a righteous God be stirred!
That all will come back, to the truth of his word!

His son Jesus, came to the cross! He bled and died!
That through him, our lives can be totally sanctified!

Only the power of God, can bring a needed restoration!
He gives to one and all…
 A heavenly invitation!

Whosoever will… Come now! And accept him!
Won’t you take the time, to really know him?

Don’t allow the web of life to destroy
and overcome you!
Come to Jesus now! He really does
 LOVE YOU!

Is It God We Trust Or Leave In the Dust

Is It God We Trust? Or Leave In the Dust? As our courts remove God from this great nation. We are left with a confused and lost generation! As God is taken away from our public schools. A huge tide of immorality is what “rules.” The Bible is often mocked and discarded. It was on it’s principles this country was started! Just about anything of God seems to get scorned. So many “rush” to worship many ungodly forms. As God’s name is often tossed and thrown out. We tend to forget what HE is all about! Too often, his plans for living are tossed and abused. No wonder, there’s many who are lost and confused! As people forget God and worship the fallen creature. They look to themselves and “glorify” their features. Many ignore God, and get involved in deep addictions. And with this, come disease, heartache and afflictions! As God looks and sees this nation “bleeding.” It’s his righteousness, that we need to be seeking! If we would humble ourselves, he would hear our prayer! He loves all of us! And he really does care! Won’t you come to HIM, And invite him in? Won’t you allow him to be your master and friend? He brings strength and nourishment to the soul! It’s only in him that we can be made whole! The Undisputed

The Undisputed

I usually prevail when mostly other have doubts,

as my hostel rival friends taunt, boo and shout,

when they know my mind is focus on that title bout.

I took the stubborn champ to the limit with a reserve

of deadly impact of fresh crushing blows therefore

had the ruthless undefeated champ dazed, shocked,

and lay resting looking at my dancing toes as

I exit to go ending the big show.

TWENTYNET 1960s - aka The 1960s A Changing World

Women's liberation
Bras burned
Girls were confused…excited!
Gloria Steinem central figure,
Speaks out.
Women shout.
Politicians doubt.
Equal Rights!
New thinking. New songs. New vocabulary.
Debating: Equal jobs for equal pay.
Strong women.
Many followers.
Surprisingly, numerous men quit opening doors.
Woodstock proclaims, “Make love, not war!”
Many soldiers die; "Vietnam Conflict" rages.
Soldiers come home, their world, changed.
War heroes were ignored.
Women worked untraditional jobs.
Many prayed.
Many died.

America Is Being DESTROYED From Within

As sin and perversion often become integrated… So many lives and families are being “disintegrated.” Many are being driven by sin’s temptation force… It’s no wonder much of this country is way “off course.” The morality and values that once made a great nation. Are evaporating…. Leading to a “spiritual separation.” Love, honor, and respect of God… Is often a “thing of the past.” Anything of God seems to be disappearing FAST! God is our only hope! And him alone! Only he can bring healing to our broken homes! He’s the answer to this wounded nation, that bleeds! It’s only God that can meet all of our needs! He’s our provider… The great: “I am!” Won’t you reach out to him? And give him your hand? Why not give him a chance? And allow him in? A brand new life for you… Is waiting to begin! May we allow God’s holiness and love to reach down into our hearts… Asking; “Lord please forgive our sins!” Is a good place to start! By Jim Pemberton

Human Nature

When chaos brings civilization to its knees
From world wide pandemic critical disease
Or when a tsunami consumes everything beyond the shores
Swallowing the landscape and changing life as we know
Earthquakes shake the very foundation of this world
Or an astroid penetrates the cradle of birth
Bring us back to the primitive unleashing the truth
From the umbilical chord we are more ferocious than rabid wolves
And we will kill fellow man just to survive
Or just for the desire of taking ones life
What is compassion but a dead corpse on the road
Adrenalized by fear no time for sorrows
No need to worry about a world war zombie apocalypse
We're already flesh eating monsters wearing dead skin
Most people panic when they lose internet or their lights
Autonomy is just a word most people can no longer define
And your money isnt worth *****so forget trying to buy
Your way out of cleansing while you run out of time
So learn to die well and hold your loved ones real tight
As you pray that your death will let you ascend to new heights
Beans, bullets, and bandaids are all that I'll need
To keep population zero from taking over me
**** being hopeful could we really be so naive
To think that in these days we could some how find peace
When our mother earth gets restless and releases all of her worst
The only thing more destructive is our human nature

Color of a Man's Character

The Color of a Man’s Character
We all bleed
And cleave to
Those we leave

We all smile when we are greeted
And cry when we are mistreated

Why do we choose to abuse others
For the color of their skin?

Why do we think that only
Our own color should win?

We’re all the same underneath
We all deserve peace
When we lay down to sleep

Love one another while you can
Show your son how to be gracious
The color of a man’s character
Is how he treats his fellow Man.

Tower of Babel

Written by the wisest of man
The reign of loss; the age of sand
Ancient scribes search in their hearts
For what will be once they depart

The course is vain, carved by self-need
The river flows from beauty to greed
Gods of love detached from their sight
Excuses now to murder the light

Wisdom knows the pleasure that sings
In the minds of desperate things
Just one pretext and all would collapse
Into the world which they are now trapped

Open eyes scanning for sight
The darkened mass creating the night
The ashen blood coating their dreams
In which they laugh for lack of true sleep

A world of one, Babylon’s pride
The tower formed, pleasing their lies
The wakeful flow with passion unhinged
But love is caught and numbed by syringe

Written now for the wisest of those
That may awake from forceful repose
A guiding star upon inner truth
Awake to strength or find it removed

The Petty Posh-WahZee - Liberation and Ostentation

The Petty Posh-Wahzee - Liberation & Ostentation

The Not-So Distant Past:

The fallen fighters for freedom, are unable to turn in their graves,
their battered, fragmented bones, mixed with a handful of torn rags,
are all that remain, a mute reminder of their selfless valiant sacrifice.

They endured brutal Apartheid harassment, detentions without trial,
torture in the cells, and mental anguish when loved ones disappeared,
they left their homeland, to continue the struggle against racial bigotry,
while countless others fought the scourge of white-minority rule at home.

Nelson Mandela and many, many others, spent their lives imprisoned,
on islands of stone, and on islands of the cruellest torture, yet they stood,
never bowing, never scraping, they stood, firm for ideals for which they were prepared to die,

and many, many comrades did die, at the hands of the callous oppressor,
and many, many comrades perished in distant lands, torn from their homes,
while the struggle continued, for decades, soaked in blood, in tears, in pain.

The Present:

19 years have passed, since freedom was secured at the highest of prices,
delivering unto us, this present, a gift of emancipation from servitude,

a freedom to walk this land, head held high, no longer second-class citizens,
in the land of our ancestors, whose voices we hear and need to heed today.

I do not care much for fashion, Lewis-Fit-On and Sleeves unSt.-Moron,
yet the ostentation that I witness baffles even my unsophisticated palate,

our ancestors' plaintive whispers are being dismissed, left unheeded, as
we browse the aisles for more and more, always for more and yet more.

Asphyxiated by the excess of the Petty Posh-Wahzee, we find ourselves,
perched precariously on the edge, of a dissolution of all that is humane,

babies go hungry, wives are battered, our elders left in hospitals for hours,
I cringe as I scribble these words, perhaps too sanctimonious and preachy,

yet I know, deep in the marrow of my brittle bones, I know, I know, I know,
this tree of freedom planted by the nameless daughters and sons of Africa,

needs to be shielded, nurtured, protected from our very own baser impulses,
so that the precious tree of freedom, may bear the fruit that may feed us all,

for if not, then we are doomed, to tip over, and into the yawning abyss, we shall fall.

Mandela's grave

Remember ninety-five
When we felt free
We felt alive
We hugged and kissed
Rejoiced in freedom
Rejoiced and sung
Songs of freedom

Mandela walked
As skeptics talked
But he walked on high
And touched the sky

He loved and he gave
The spirit of the brave
He forgave and reconciled
A sad and battered child

He gave us hope
He gave us life
He freed us from our thoughts of strife

He crossed the divide
Of crossword puzzle blocks
And gave us the clues
-	We threw down our rocks

But here we are now
Tectonic plates crash on our brow
Where is the hope gone?
Where is the future that we had won?
As we slipped from meritocracy
To simple mediocrity
We look around
And all we found
Was our hopes dashed
Dashed to the ground

Our children suffer, forlorned
Whilst louts with shovels shovel the gold
Of our future that was pawned
For the few our future was sold

And as the fat asses
Roam around in masses
Eating the hay that was made when the sun still shone
Eating the food that the cattle had won

But brayingly they still prance around
Relishing in their new wealth found
As the baby dies hungry and cold
And the baby is buried in hallowed ground

Remember back in ninety-five
When we all felt thrilled –
Alive!
Remember the victory songs
Of how we would right the wrongs
But now we wrong the right
As for gold and wealth we fuss and fight

And in his cold and lonely grave
Mandela turns
And weeps
As his long road
Stops
At his grave

Freedom

The Freedom song
We finally wake from masked confusion
and realise the vast illusion
vanities, egos and promotions
caused wasteful carnage and sad emotions
the world was cleansed with artificial care
grandeur, greed with none to spare
never forget and never forgive
the shackled way we had to live.
what they have sown, now let them reap
our souls are fed and now complete.
So on lonely farms and crowded streets
in palaces and in slums
give welcome to freedoms quickening feet
As silently it comes.
When you see a poor man crouched alone,
A hungry, helpless thing
set him on a moonbeam throne
and treat him like a king.
to all those who wear a hunters crown
and feast on your remains
rip away their purple gowns
And let them feel the peoples pain
Serene, unchanging, ever fair,
freedom smiles with secret mirth
And in a surge of insane devotion
we can release this captive earth
No iron bars, no flashing guns,
No land, no sky, no sea,
not even a bolts from Satins hell
Can keep freedom away from me

Christmas 2009

Recession made Christmas harder than ever before
Family’s splitting – money the core
Dad’s leaving to live on the street
So that young hungry mouths are able to eat
That some extra cash might be in the house
and children might learn what Christmas is about?
But without Dad gone, roof would be lost
for the bills are much higher – we can’t meet the cost
No longer can the average family budget
2009, jobs lost, even working struggle to afford it
Commercialism needs to stop building hopes and dreams
Childern don’t understand you are busting at the seams
Disappointment reigns as kids outside taunt and tease
No longer we fit in we’re all on our knees
Sinking. Even love has fallen apart
We don’t want this Christmas just haven’t the heart!
Expectation lower, depressions set in
Politicians not helping the hole we’re all in
Instead raising taxes they’ll crucify more
and this miserable life could be at your door
Will someone tell them that family should be together
sharing love, life, hopes dreams whatever they weather

Who Will STAND UP For Jesus

I've heard of those who say they're "happy and gay." Where are those who proclaim; "Jesus is the only Way?" I've heard of many who discuss creation vs. evolution. Where are those who proclaim Jesus is the solution? I've heard of many who chose an "alternate lifestyle." Where are those...who for Jesus... will go "the extra mile?" There are those who say; "Jesus isn't real!" Where are those who'll confess HIM with a passion and a zeal? There’s so many who sit in their church's pew. Where are those... Whom to Christ… Will say; ‘I LOVE YOU!” There’s too many who are on their way to hell. Where are those who truly love Jesus? Can you tell??? I know of a redeeming savior's mercy and grace. His love has been extended to the human race. Jesus speaks a loving call and merciful plea... He says; "take up your cross and follow me!" Jesus brings true gladness and overflowing joy! This is freely offered to every man, woman, girl and boy! NOW is the day of salvation & the accepted time! Christ can change us! And renew our mind! I know that very soon.. Jesus is coming again! Where are those who desire to be cleansed within? I know that an abundant life is what Jesus will freely give! Where one can find eternal life! And a true meaning to live! By Jim Pemberton

play their part in having me nauseous
passion a project for the masses
roses in package, romance the passage
red, white and pink, fed right in the link
bed time in sync, just what you think
that one day out of three sixty five
your partner should get recognized
consumption used to fortify
love thatll last the rest of our lives
trickier than lovers that are porcupines
a sort of lie, could put a hole in your heart
bigger than a quarters size
beyond the balloons, heart strings in the loom
the only thoughts i consume,
is i need a sun with my moon

Soaring For A Cup Of Love

Sunlight scarce, o' rainbow dove
I flutter wings a fifty five
just to see your weight up high
a snug,
in the clouds.

What parsing eyes, do thee enchant
a hue o' fifty fire ants
give or take a grand,
I wad my sense of wealth in color,
white is far too bland.

Someone spilled a sup of blue
a soup fit for three-hundert two,
if only it were true
that we could fill ourselves with color.

Someone see that bird up there,
whose rain arch bellows rainbow wings
and colors sing;
where there ain't no thing as hunger,
fill my stomach full of color,
my friend and brother
my sister, mother
grab my wing...

I'll take you to the play,
you needn't ever pay
...for a cup of love.

Sanctity

You think you know, but you can’t see
All the pain that you cause me
Each time you speak your wicked words
Of flawed equality.

My pride disrupts the ‘sanctity’
Of marriage, apparently;
And can cheapen it to a such an
Overwhelming degree

That when I kneel on bended knee,
Showing love for all to see,
I am not met with simple joy,
But with hostility.

I am then told that I can’t be
Married to the man I see
As my equal. As my partner;
The better part of me.

Please tell me when a court’s decree
Could give right to guarantee
That I can’t marry who I choose,
With such audacity

To condemn my identity
With broken rights, bigotry,
And the somehow growing norm of
Blatant iniquity.

So now I stand with clarity,
Sense of pride, and dignity
To say vehemently that I
Demand equality

And ask that you will stand with me
Readily and willingly
To battle the decisions born
Of amorality.

What Do We Expect As We Seek to Remove God

What Do We Expect, As We Seek to Remove God? As so many people are seeking God’s removal… It’s like anything from him, we’ve given a refusal! Many have tried to ban just the reading of his word! There’s so much truth, just waiting to be heard! Many anti-God societies have quickly formed! Even the ten commandments, are often scorned! We’ve built large cities, many schools, and homes! But when it comes to God, we’ve often left him alone! One can try their best to push God back in the corner! But if you do, things in your life will get “warmer!” The pleasures and truth you seek, will come to an end! And then eternity without God, will just begin! You’ll wish you chose to live for God, that eventful day! You’ll wish that you took the time to study and pray! It’s the word of God that you need to study and read! God knows all about you! And knows your needs! He deserves all of your praise and full attention! We need to seek him, for much needed direction! Please come dear Lord, and cleanse us within! May we humbly confess our faults and sins! We need YOU much more, than words can say! Please be the God we serve! May we start TODAY! By Jim Pemberton

Gushing and Rushing with no delay
Similar to a run in an olympic relay
Rising its level with rabid haste
Making human watched likened to a paste

It came from the height of the heavens
Wrathly pouring down to bald mountains
Dashing down having no mercy given
Towards these beings that thinks only of gains

This is just a matter of consequence
For beings such as us that has less prudence
Now we gain what we have sown
And it has rapidly and largely grown

Now we find the blame for the result
Instead of finding the solution of our fault
This great waters that we have caused
Must be helped and prevented until its paused

A Resolution for This time

A Resolution for This Time
(Based on Eccl. 3:1-15)
©2011 C. Brent Cloyd

I long to see the beauty of my time
Hear music from eternal bells that chime
Enjoy earth, till this good life I sever
Look toward heaven that last forever

I’ll grasp my part in each life occasion
Banish thoughts and deeds of ill persuasion
Accept God’s design for each life season
Submit that I need not know His reason

I will celebrate life so wondrous born
Understand that death is not always scorn
Propagate goodness and wholeness in life
And uproot that which causes pain and strife

I’ll concede it’s sometimes proper to kill
But until convinced I’ll promote goodwill
Useless things I will tear down and destroy
Then plan to build, and work efforts deploy

I will comfort the hearts of those forlorn
Together find God’s healing as we mourn
Dare to dream, love, have hope, and take a chance
Embrace the moment, laugh, and learn to dance

I’ll speak with passion, let pieces scatter
Gather the fragments, avoid the chatter
Engage opinions, proceed with a shrug
When acceptable, open arms and hug

For things of value I’ll search at great cost
When searching is exhausted count it lost
When usefulness has ended, throw away
But don’t allow important things to stray

Now is the time to tear some things apart
Then with care I’ll mend and make a new start
Learn the lesson that silence is golden
Of words fitly said men are beholden

I pledge to hate what is cruel and unjust
Teach that kindness and fairness are a must
In war, anger and malice find release
But I’ll use my voice to encourage peace

Yesteryear’s events once again will be
To measure their success we wait and see
God’s deeds are good, lasting and without flaw
Of Him and His works I will gaze in awe.

I pray for God to watch over you each night
And help guide you through your daily plights

And see through window's pane a mighty stars spin

Just knowing your battling on foreign soil
Over someone else's turmoils

Makes me just love you that much more
But please hurry home hun to finish your own dam choirs

I'm Coming Out I'm Proud of Jesus

I’m Coming Out! I’m Proud of Jesus!

There are proud people “coming out!”
Yet, they have no idea what real life is about!

Many brag about a lifestyle that’s revealing.
Yet have lost God’s purpose and meaning!

I’m coming out for Jesus! I’ve nothing to hide!
I’ve asked him to take away my sin and pride!

Of my own accomplishments... I’ve nothing to boast!
But I’m proud of God the father, son and holy ghost!

Whatever pride we have… We’ve all sinned!
Jesus told us; “you must be born again!”

Nothing that I’ve done is worth “bragging of.”
Rather, I’ve done things that I’m ashamed of!

But God reached down to where I was standing!
And filled my life with his peace and understanding!

The more I have of Jesus, the less I need of me!
His power alone is what can truly set me free!

I’m coming out for Jesus! The redeemer of my soul!
I’m going to shout it! So the whole world may know!

I’m not ashamed of Jesus! I am NOT!
By his mercy… My sins have been blood bought!

For each step you take to God… He takes two!
Won’t you allow him to do his work through YOU?

A life of righteousness and holiness is what God is asking!
Come now! And receive HIS life!
 It’s everlasting!

MY LOVELY HATE SPEECH

Open Letter to you,

MY LOVELY HATE SPEECH
I hate my speech today, yesterday and the day dust rises.
I was there opening my eyes carelessly, smiling like an idiot
I was gazing shamelessly, walking like an idler without course
Little did I notice my vehicle lose direction; little did I notice my head bleeding
I was just there; the settled dust rising, tables turning, grenades and bullets are now apples
Little did I know the power in my lovely hate speech.

What pride did we get after slaughtering fellow Kenyans like goats,
What are the stuttering rifles rattling about, are humans turning game,
What are the grenades doing in civilian pockets, are they keys
Why are the churches burning, you cannot tell me tis the holy ghost fire,
What has that neighbour done, why is that policeman lying there,
Why is no body answering me, am I alone, or are you wondering too
Should I assess the power in my lovely hate speech, am concerned.

My love speech I hate you, my hate speech I love you
Both speeches are one, are the same, of same taste, I hate my passion for you
I love my fellow politician, i love his dirge during my friend’s burial
You bleeding mammoth my friend, I like your corrupt tummy
You scavenger of your own carcass, I like your greed for power
You megalomaniac virus of a beloved country, we love you, let us be
Little do we know death will let you release us, How uncertain are we of you.

My eyes are full of your ocean, the palace you exhume immorality
My ears are preoccupied with your desert, the desert devoid of trust, and the just
My nostrils have your pungent infamy, your callous greed, your everything
My mind can’t decipher the thought of your sanity, your policies and you
You make me lose taste, you make me look like you, you make me you
I am youthful to the economy, i am youthful to the wise, am not youthful to your “youth”
Little do i know death will let you release me, How uncertain am i of you.

Am talking about you, what have i said about me? What?
I hope I know the promise in my Kenyan Anthem
I hope I have a plan of getting rid of the chaff, the you
I hope am not you, i hope you don’t like seeing me wise
I hope your son is listening, the son that wants my very own daughter
I hope am the government, the government of me, for me and by me
I hope i know peace, the peace am preaching, the peace you hate. I hope.

Yours Kenyan,
Mzee Emmanuel Mwau.

HOME OF TYRANNY

Blood of martyrs dried in the plains
Died in the Valley Mountains
Fighting for independence

Injustices felt when migration arise
In the island of pearls
And in the land of promise

People were put in chaos
When their land grabbed out of laws
Immigrants view as dominant foes

Once an oasis of freedom
Is now a doom of ignorance?
When tyranny became lord of the land

People were driven out of their post
Were given just pinch of hope
To live life in woe forth

Oh the never ending story
Of the endless tyranny
Please leave this home happy!

Gulf Oil Spill !

Man to blame,
Once again to his shame,
His record continues to destroy !

The beauty he did not create, nor can he save…
He will never learn how to properly behave…

Nature screams pointlessly once again ?
Fearing where next we’ll drill ?

Distant Warrior

I get this wondrous chill as night falls
in mountains or desert sand
and I find myself dreaming about
home, my fondest memory
from this far away land.

I miss the special lady who
stole my heart, my thoughts
and all there is of me;
and I deeply cherish
our final moments together.

I think about the children
I left behind, how I miss them
and pray they’re fine -
and it’s hard Lord,
it’s so very hard.

It’s times like this that I wonder
why I volunteered and I
get this knot in my stomach -
then I cringe and find myself
trying to hold back tears.

Soon the battle will begin
when I’ll hear my own heartbeat
through the creepy sounds
amidst treacherous mountain sides or
drifting sands and whirling winds.

It’s time spent in worry,
fear, and some regret
as I encounter my fate
in the war so near
and I must admit, I’m scared.

This stench of war,
the sight of it all,
it’s that awful image
of how I imagined hell
after Lucifer’s fall.

I wonder to myself,
“Does it have to be
that generations of people
can’t seem to agree
to the simple concept of peace?”

Soldiers don’t start wars
but they surely fight them,
making all manner of sacrifice
and I doubt that even once
did a soldier ever like them.”

Then I think of “Old Glory”
and I’m filled with pride.
It’s a warm patriotic feeling
which overcomes me
from deep down inside.

I’m confused, scared
and battle weary.
I worry about those I love
as I cling to my faith
and pray to God above.

I’m a distant warrior,
an American fighting man;
not an aspiring hero,
but just a simple soldier
trying to do the best that I can.

A Silent Plea

What tall tales must one share to free themselves from hell do not allow the heart to ponder or you will be lost in wonder What does a woman such as I know of love I know it hurts more than anything I know it will be down right disappointing and no one will come to lift you up For they want you to give them more than you have from the time I was a child I have known love was not my desire I loved with all of my heart and gave everything of whom I was but no one ever took a chance to love me back Now in my age my mind is torn from loving and harm do not bother me if this is your way of fun after all I am only human I want to be happy like anyone else, even if by myself Please if nothing nice can be done or said just pretend I am dead I know when I am hated or gossiped about and seriously I am at a loss I want to smile again, I would give anything to have someone be my friend I do not care who loves who just please let me be a human being too

Love from within

Once again i am caught in this cage, Just when i thought i'v opened a new page. I fall back right back into the hole i crawled out from, waiting for someone to help me, but no one would come. Laying back in my bunk and looking at the cold wall that is holding your pictures, which is the only thing that makes me smile here, i walk tall, no one messes with me, i have no fear, just dreaming of an ice cold beer. Looking at your eyes, even in the picture makes me weak, translating your face and stopping at your lips makes me wonder how exactly sexy and perfect they are, not like a freak. Molding your face within my mind, never happened, i'm liking this too much so i don't think ill put this to an end. To tell you the truth, if it weren't for you i don't know what i would turn into, but you keep me sane enough to keep myself like a go to. I no that i am very destructive, but its better than being a ghost, and when every one finds out that i am more than a beast, that's when ill boast. You put your trust in me so that i can smile, and now through my demonic teeth i smile and open a new file. You are the one that changed these demonic teeth into something real, it broke my heart out of this prison cage and made me feel. Now that i am out and free, i am deciding on what i want to be. I want to be able to look into your eyes everyday, so would you give me a chance? What do you say?
PS: This is also my prison work. I hope you all readers like it. Don't forget the feed back. Thank you

More Than Love

         MORE THAN LOVE
I've looked in eyes so blue they made me soar
through all the gifts of life, this much and more
to challange me to things that could not be
unless had been aroused the very soul of me.

I've seen the smile that makes the heart to sing
and raise me to the best that life can bring
to be the very most that I can ever be
and write each word her smile has ever put in me.

I've breathed the very same and fragrant air
and for a moment had this thing to share
with she, who made my life to soar above
the limits of my own, and so much more than love.

Man's Confusion and God's Redemption

Man's Confusion and God’s Redemption! God’s wrath is revealed against all ungodliness… Neither will he put up with man’s unrighteousness His truth has already been given unto all men… And his love has been shown unto them. The invisible things of God, from creation, have been seen… Being understood by men. From HIM… who’s made everything. Many haven’t glorified him or thanked him for his creation.... And many have become foolish in their vain imaginations! Professing themselves to be wise, many have become “fools.” By not obeying God. But living by “their set of rules.” Changing God’s glory to that of corruptible man. Many have brought a great darkness throughout our land. God has given them to uncleanness that abounds in their hearts... While many have burned in their own lust. Right from the start. Worshiping the creature(not creator). Has given a new direction… And has caused in many hearts. A deep “spiritual infection.” Women and men leaving their God given affection in lust of each other. Have changed God’s true design and purpose of one another. As God has given so many over to a reprobate mind… Many continue in shameful acts of just about every kind. Without an acknowledgment for God in each of our lives... We’ll continue down a “deep spiral” filled with so many lies. God is our only hope. His gift of eternal life is freely given. Why not let him be the God of the way your livin’? By Jim Pemberton 05/28/1 (Read Romans 1:18-32)

Segregated Heartbeats

The rule makers declare us separated for eternity,
different race, clashing cultures, incompatible?
Borders cannot segregate our heartbeats.
Distance is a matter of physical entity.
We share the same sky and moonlight.

Love falls prey to diplomatic ramblings,
resulting in abomination of emotional upheavals.
Outlaws we shall become to our desires.
We paint with the color of our future offspring.
A universal appeal for love we portray.

Lawful hatred defied, illegal love confirmed.
Intersecting divergent, petty governments.
Classifications, labels, passports, we shred.
Hindu, Christian, white, black, indigenous, native,
all will fall into the bed of unified mankind.

The clothing of restrictions shall vanish.
Two lovers shatter continental boundaries.
Passion breaks traditional laws,
harmony we find in rebellion.
While poetry binds our lonely souls.

The Walk

The Walk
An elected position walks into transition, but not without apprehension.
Thrusted forward into accountability, a " word" that was lost in recent financial history.
Blame and blasphemy encircles him for others greed, carelessness, incompetency and
irresponsibility.
Unlike the blind man to our today's society, anger creates a false reality.
A "change we can believe in", is the course called destiny.
Persecution upon every action or direction met with resistance by those who remain held in social captivity from their own personal experiences or enthralled perceptions of " what ought not be".
Prepare the world, for the world is watching and they see, that without corruption
and a massive scale of discrimination , injustices and judgments as their plea, they are not happy nor do they believe that they can or that they will succeed.
May forgiveness and mercy find it's place upon his adversaries as well as for him whom they do this unto in the sight of he.
People, we call ourselves, "we"; therefore, "we must not lose focus , the walk for change remains on our compass to destiny and real facts vs. opinions will be our guide for future history.

Gay

I am gay.
I'm not a disease, I'm not a problem
I'm not an affliction
I don't need treatment.
I don't need help
I'm not sick
I'm not confused
I'm not a sin.

I am gay.
I'm your daughter
Your sister
Your friend
Your co worker
Your classmate
Your acquaintance
A complete stranger

I am gay.
I need love, just like you
I need smiles
I need support
I need a hug
I need a friend
I need a family
I need acceptance
I need understanding
I need you

I am gay.
I know what love is
I know what pain is
I know what hate is
I know what life is

I am gay.
And I need you to love me
The same way you loved me before you knew

I am gay.
And I have experienced hate
From more people than just you

I am gay.
And I wont change.
I wont give up.
I wont back down.
I wont pretend.
I wont lie.
I wont deny.
I wont hide.
I wont hurt.

I am gay.

And that's okay.

Our Country Has Sinned Against God

Our country has sinned, and many don’t know it! Any reverence for God? Many refuse to show it! We have sinned greatly, in our desire to leave God behind! And have tried our best to remove him from our minds! Even a cross or nativity is most often, not allowed! The atheists? You’ll find them in most every crowd! We’ve traded God’s commands for our own “rules.” How dare you mention HIM in any of our schools! Whatever pleases the flesh is predominantly enjoyed! As many people seek to fill an “empty void!” Those standing for righteousness are often scorned. “Don’t preach about God!” They’re often warned! The freedom God gave us.. We’ve turned it around! Perversions and addictions greatly abound! His judgment is coming! People may laugh. But our country will endure his holy wrath! Our only hope is the get back to God’s word! His message of salvation needs to be heard! Only Jesus can give a peace and love so secure! We need him more than ever! That’s for sure! Through Christ’ blood, we can be a new creation! Please come Lord Jesus and heal our nation! By Jim Pemberton

Born into lies, Die fighting for Truth, Live Forever

See you lady's are really dudes, male energy oozes from the paths you choose.
You see straight lines to your end, and you believe it ends there with ONE life to attend.
Just understand that world is so lonely, but as a whole you and the other boys won't be the only
To cross over confused, by only yourself and YOUR CHOICE to be used.
See the "rulers" of this world had plans to keep us hiding, for a "better" perceived earth or calming home to reside in.
And they have succeeded as the blind don't wish to see, nor asking a ****ing question to an alternative degree.
Emotions run the world but ya'll think its money, government made bills too huh? now aint that *****funny.
And they prescribe medicine for every condition, thats just regulated murder with your own permission.
And the "leaders" pay for "news" so you don't go knowing, the truth about nature or where we are growing
Its sad you say that we're babied by the kings, you're bombarded by conspiracies for every single thing.
Now if I give you a secret you promise you can keep it? Its a doozy so make sure you can read it.
The same people who control you and kill all our families, and lie to our faces from cities to shanty's, and make all the rules that you're forced to live by, and keep ALL the money we've worshipped to get by....
WE ARE THE ONES WHO GAVE THEM THE POWER, AND WE CAN TAKE IT BACK AT ANY GIVEN HOUR!

The other side of Freedom

They said they loved me.
Then, the metal beasts came, soaring over me
Heaping dust and blood on our city streets,
As their lethal load hit like rain sheets.

I watched their love puncture the city walls
And sever the sinews off the boy and his ball
Leaving the mother crying for her son, then his dad
Till her tears meant nothing in the wailing myriad.

I saw the hate build with each blood drop
Drawn from the soldiers and innocent. Drop
For drop, survivors intend revenge upon this love shown:
This false love which spurs only hate till we’re all gone.

Coming Out Of The Closet

Coming Out Of The Closet?

Across this country, there’s more people
“coming out of the closet.”
Any sense of a Godly direction.
They’ve seemed to have “lost it.”

Often talking about their life. And are not ashamed…
Often bringing dishonor to God’s holy name.

Perhaps “going back into the closet,”
is where you need to be.
And think for a minute….Where you’ll spend eternity.

God is still God. He is righteous but also holy and just.
He asks all to give him our heart.
Our obedience. And trust!

Perhaps in the closet . A time of seeking God should be spent.
A time to have fellowship... A time to repent.

During this time you can spend with God….
And HIM alone.
Asking him to bring peace,
hope and love into your home.

This closet can give you a “quiet time.” A time “to be still.”
A time to seek God. And to do his will.

May you allow your heart, toward HIM
 to be yielded and broken.
And time to meditate on some of the
words that he’s spoken.

If it’s the closet that you truly want to come out.
You can tell everyone: ”Jesus IS what life is about!”

Allow HIM to cleanse and make you whole within…
As his blood cleanses you and takes away every sin!

Spending time with God… You’ll be glad you did.
His abundance and overcoming life… He’ll freely give!

God wants to be with you. By a “divine appointment.”
Experience his life changing power, and a GODLY enjoyment!

Diversity Or Perversion

We often hear many talking about "diversity." Seldom does anyone acknowledge... "perversity." What's "right or wrong," has led to much confusion. As our nation idulges in so much perversion. Many don't know which direction they're being led. As many have rejected what God has already said. His divine and holy principles are being "torn apart." We are witnessing a "division of the heart." Our only hope and answer in all of this mess. Is a way of living that is "God-blessed." His blessings in our life is what we need to enjoy. His word in our way of living... We should daily employ. Without a Godly direction... Our nation is "off course." God is our only refuge and defense... Against this "evil force." Now's the time to return to Christ and engage in prayer! His hands will keep you in his tender mercy and care. Though the whole earth crumbles... and it's governments shaken. Jesus remains our bedrock... and our only solid foundation! FAME

If I could visualize the world in your eyes and feel what your heart speaks we would be able to teach reaching the many people who dream what we have obtained.

F.A.M.E.

The love of a FAMILY
The AMBITION to survive to have more positive insights to be able to believe in a future.

The MENTALITY to adapt to the changes that has and will take place, even if it means that we love or hate them.

Having the ability to EMOTIONALLY control our urges that destroy so many. Yet to be moved by love with the lack of violence. Until necessary to enforce some type of love and happiness in the minds of many who don't believe anymore. The type of love the children need and dream of in a world that’s force to hate when they are born to love.

To achieve greatness and be a positive leader among leaders who have false goals of becoming someone who could actually lead, so many have lost their views on what needs to be corrected and improved to become better people. I’m often reminded by so many people of all their extreme lies told all in the vein of false fame.

Come Nightfall

Everything glitters at night
Moonshine will pull all that you own into question
Like daylight never could;
You’re a coward
I’m a faggot and a fake
And I can’t think of one reason
Why I deserve the shirt I’m wearing
I wish it were a tourniquet
So I could glimmer
Shine
Glitter in the light of the world
Like everything does
come nightfall.

They Don't Love Us Anymore

Jamaica was always known for cultivating
the brightest and the best,
Academically, most scholars soared through
all their tests,
Our Island provided warmth and beauty,
Yet, the music of the modern generation
has tarnished our reputation,
Most, think of us as gun slingers, drug
dealers and vagabonds,
Our women are viewed as piranhas on
the run,
Through advertisements and word of mouth
Jamaican men are viewed as abusers or elusive
Baby Daddies or hustlers who cruise around in caddies,
They don't love us anymore,
The hate shows as they cleverly try to shove us through the doors,
concocting crimes and airs of suspicion,
Being a Jamaican has become a whirlwind
of negative labels such as aggression, crimanalism and drug running,
They never tell the real stories how the other half lives,
They don't love us anymore, so they would rather show
our lives hanging from the ballads or on the skids.

The Glow of Soft Truths

the glow of soft truths
tucked between the folds of the heart

radiates through the coarse fabric of each fleeting day

transcending the hurdles that litter the way

extinguishing the trepidation and the unfounded fears away

beyond the very now with an eye firmly gazing towards the coming morrow

where genuine peace may be found while dispelling the nasty sting and the solitary sorrow

and when that moment is finally found

when peace and mirth is felt all around

the bliss may seem plentiful, and the being with simple joy may abound

without a word being spoken

without the din, the static of the endless drone

so infused with soothing music, yet hardly making a sound

for the truth of peace that lies in wait

just beyond the corner

is a truth that may never be sought

or bought

for that truth of peace must be ushered inside

until deep in the soul it will then quietly reside...

Is America Leaving God Far Behind

America is being destroyed from perversion within. As it’s people indulge in wickeness and sin. The moral fabric that our country once held so dear. Is now beginning to dissappear. Many judges seek to remove God from our land. Traditional marriage... many don't understand. From the neighbor’s house to the college dorms, Perversion is legal in so many forms. Our money reads: “in God we trust.” Many are addicted to perversion and lust. Nothing of God seems to be sacred anymore. While his judgement draws close to our nation’s door. This so called “freedom” that many have “enjoyed,” Is causing our great country to be destroyed. America must heed the Savior’s call, Only God can give true freedom to all. HIS word is our country’s true foundation. Without him in our lives... we’re doomed as a nation! By Jim Pemberton

Man of men

I saw a man whose eyes were of resentment.
Life was robbed from him,
He wanders of what has befallen man.
Life that gives birth to life, but life takes life;
love that gives birth to sacrifice, out of love hatred is born.
A cycle of hatred, one takes life, to save life?
Yet he wanders of why man not see that truth.
Out of hatred war is born.
A neverending cycle of despair and sorrow.
Hope? He says, what is that?
Friendship hangs by a threat, envy, lust, suspicious and anger all that takes whole of him, knows not why their is no path to be taken that leads not to distruction.
Oh! I have planted the seeds of war,
ready to burst and explot in raging firestrom.
Let he that seeks truth, find it in despair;
For the path of truth is fill with agony.
Let he that seek justice, follow the path of mercy; for mercy and justice lives in the heart of God.
Let he that seek true love; find it in patience: for love is patience.
Let he that seek peace find it in grace, for peace is achieve in grace.
Let he that seek glory, find it in humility, for such praises comes for those who are humble.
I knew that man, whose eyes were of sorrow and has now found joy.
Sorrow and joy are afriend, but only in thy dreams. Love and hate are like a two sides of a coin,
We can toss it up in the air and hope to get love. Is that not ignorant, when we can just choose it.
Life is not based in luck but in choices.

Love so behind losing dreams inside and abroad
Make a tent to be all world in love

Visa Walls

A repetitive stamp on a passport
can expedite our joyous first meeting.
Love spurs a nervous heart
towards a new, unknown life.

Papers collected and shuffled,
we pray for official acceptance.
The gatekeepers eyes penetrate
with suspicious glares of denial.

The bureaucracy divides the masses.
A mother, a brother, a lover
denied access to greater connections.
Mercy is not spoken by the immigration clerk.

Phone calls, email, and goods travel across borders.
People are not granted such freedom.
What is the price to enter the fortress?
Only those with fat bank accounts enter this land.

I would risk prison to touch your warm hands,
clasp your sweet face between my palms,
inhale the tender aroma of your fine silk hair,
graze the soft delicacies of your smooth skin.

Where must we flee to share a moment together?
Free from the interrogations of the government forms.
Is there a place on this globe for lovers?
Where fences give way to fertile orchards.

I Want to Walk with You

I Want to Walk with You

I want to walk with you with our heads held high
Never cowering, never with heads bowed
With our feet on this blessed soil, and our dreams reaching for the sky

Dreams of simple joys and of peace and of mirth
For all our fellow travelers on this delightful earth

Dreams not of wealth or of positions of high standing or of mighty power
Simple dreams of a walk in the aftermath of a Johannesburg evening rain-shower

Dreams of bread and water and dignity and shelter and clothes for all
Dreams where all fellow travelers may together walk this earth proud and tall

I want to walk with you, my fellow traveler, with our heads held high
Never pandering to power, never silent in the face of its abuse
Always firm in our convictions that we can all make peace if we only try

If we try to stop and think and sometimes not to look the other way
If we practice what our different creeds really teach, we will surely see that day

When we all, fellow travelers may walk with our heads held high
Never cowering, never with our heads bowed
With our feet on this blessed soil, and our collective dreams reaching for the sky

Call me silly, call me naive, call me hopeless, and if you must, call me weak
But is this not the common good that our different creeds and cultures all seek?

apples and god

Apples and God.

In the twilight I saw a nun coming down the hilly street towards me, in the shiny
grayness of the evening I could see a cross of the crucified Jesus around her neck.
I was filled with foreboding as I have always had a fear of Christianity.
I remembered what an old man, who had a long white beard and always wore
a black hat, had told me that if I saw a nun I should spit three times and run away.
I ran and ran but whichever road I followed she still came behind me. I fled into
a garden full of apple trees climbed up one of them. Sat there for hours till I got
hungry and picked an apple it tasted like acid and filled my mouth of the unknown.
Yet I had the sense to fill my pocket with forbidden fruit. Back home I told mother
of what had happened, I gave her the fruit she cut them up in pieces and strewed
sugar on and now they tasted lovely. She told me not to mind what old men said
and that the nun was a victim of her delusion. She also told me to buy apples next
time and not to steal them. The day thereafter I bought two green bananas it took
weeks before they were ripe enough to eat.

Behind the Tassel: Poisonous Thorns

The tassel
Seems to be blossomed
Having created with beauty
And shedding aroma passim

When the time comes close
And to closer and close up
The tassel
Seems to be hybrid
Having hidden conventional qualities
Nothing to be seen
Expected beauty and
Conceived aroma

The tassel
Where stands
Roots of brought forth
Clasp poisonous thorns
Even blunt
It is destructible

The tassel
Untimely born
That may not blossom and smell
Defoliated body of line
It has being decayed
Respective ignorance of origin
Throughout the time
Emerges like an atavism

The Prologue Poem

O love! Tell them, the good men,
In your own old melodious tone:
Let’s again—Return to Nature.
Whatever little or large is left,
Let’s re-adorn her.
And if they won’t!
Let’s—You and I.
Hand-in-hand walk away of the city:
Biharis stay by the smelling slums;
Laid-off-addicts stand in long queues; or the clerics kiss the petty politicians on brows.
Where monsters: War-weopens, Jingoism, Globalization, Modernity, and Machines,
 Have spread havoc!
And find our abode, there,
Near the breezy woods, in the calm country;
Where well! I can meditate,
And you’ll have all that childish fun…
Running after the flies, or fighting with the bucks,
Dancing in sultry summer’s bursting rain,
Or mimicking a singing bird.

(the poems is the introductory poem of my poetry collection "TELL THE OLD LADY WAIT AND OTHER POEMS")

The Beast

This is an epic tale I shall unwind
Of a beast born to keep us blind
He lives in a time not to far away
This is a present yarn I spin today
All the worlds countries united as one
Lost in the plight of one mothers son
The Anti-Christ risen to the mark of the beast
As the entire world blindly sits down for the feast
Crime is defeated there is peace in the land
Just take the bar code to the back of your hand
Long before this day the story was told
Who is the King he who holds all the Gold
I often contemplate if he knows what he does
For all that is written shall be as it was
Solve all the worlds problems well know this as true
If you seek an answer your computer gives it to you
The entire world is at the tip of your fingers
No need to go out just stay here and linger
Banking from here flashes up on the screen
You'll have more time to ponder and dream
So you wish to shop let me offer some sites
Pay with a number it'll be shipped overnight
Stop to consider the old word Foundation
Join with the rich to feed every nation
No need to worry there is nothing to chance
Just sit at your computer lost in my trance
The old ways diminished the world is new
If you're seeking love the computer finds it for you
If your not seeking love it offers you lust
For pleasing everyone is truly a must
It's entered our factories as well as our stores
Hell it's even taken over our wars
Crime will be defeated by the watchful eye
As another satellite takes to the sky
Without the Honor of war there is no need to fight
War machines controlled by the beast of the night
I treasure the stories, the stories of old
Where brave men fought with hearts of gold
When the keeper of dreams was our Lord
And to kill a man you made the sword
When marriage was Till death do us part
Parents nourished and protected their children's hearts
When family's were like the limbs of a tree
Spreading no further than they needed to be
With those days gone and all but forgot
The Souls of man has started to rot
Before long as men sit down to feast
They will offer thanks unto the beast
Science is driven know this is true
To reason all the faith out of you
They teach our children we evolved from a cell
Can you see how far our country has fell
As the Beast sits back with his evil grin
Having faith in the Lord has become a sin
As God is removed from the allegiance we say
Well exactly who do our leaders follow today
Oh thats right we are all seeking gold
As the story of the beast starts to unfold

MLK - 1929 - 1968

MLK...
(January 15, 1929 – April 4, 1968)

they shot you down
all those years ago

but

your dream lives on
and always will

for though much has been
gained since you dreamed
your dream

there is much to fight for
and much more to struggle for

and much, much more
to fight for still

so
your dream resounds in
our hearts and we pledge
this to you today
for though they shot you down
all those years ago on a memphis day
we shall overcome
this we do believe
deep in our hearts
that
we shall overcome
someday...

A Soldier's Love

Hello my dear, my other half
I miss you very much
Someday soon I will be home
And once again feel your touch

Your warm embrace gets me through
The tough days in the field
But when the plane lands to bring me home
For nothing I will yield

The enemy is strong and determined to win
But I cannot let that be
For if we are defeated and put on retreat
What would you think of me?

Although we are hated for our every belief
That does not define my role
In the nation’s defense and constant struggle
Coming home to you well, is my primary goal

I will press on with my brothers in arms
And fight for you everyday
But rest assured my darling, my love
You are mine, no matter the miles away

Government Sanctioned Murder

Let's be real. Blues are the new crack and no one denies it,
they reach basers with no sign of government confinement.
This color kills slowly with one after the other, the big wigs count on that population to smother.
Oh wait this heroin has a script? Supplied by whoever made it synthetically legit?
Yes they do my young drug user you see, and if I were selling I'd give you half for free, forcing the Need to come back to me.. its ****in crazy how they make a tribute,
identifying the evil but never slowing the distribute.. or consumption for that matter,
theirs no hope for modern day snap-back mad hatters.. All I can do is say that I'm here,
for anyone lost in their own right to fear.
For my fears are numbered today as it seems, only two reside in sporadic day dreams.
One that the user wont ever find clean, and won't ever sleep towards true divine dreams. The other that server will not end the cycle, and won't see their job any less than quite rightful. Both will dream, theres no denying that friend, just depends if its sooner or after the end..

This Thanksgiving Day

During this time known as Thanksgiving Day. I hope you'll give thanks and pray. A prayer of thanks for everything God has given. He has blessed us in the way we've been livin'! Our country is blessed like no other. God has supplied our "bread and butter." He's given us the freedom, we've all enjoyed. Be thankful for your food, home and being employed. For those who've endured hardship... Thank God too! It's no secret how much he loves YOU! We find in the Bible... God clearly said; "I've never seen the righteous forsaken, Nor their children begging for bread." Thanks be to Jesus, for his love, mercy and grace. And for making my heart, "his special place." I am blessed and thankful to Jesus indeed. He's given me salvation and supplies my every need. I thank God for this special day in November. Thanksgiving is a day... I will always remember! LOVE ON DEATH LINE

I have not eaten today,
But my heart is filled
Not hungry of affection.
I had a fill of you last night
A fill of you for a life time

All around us are walking corpses
Corpses of political disregard
Humans of no nations
Even when they are bona-fide citizens
Your blood and mine flows in them

The government abhors the poor
Feeds them with empty promises
Shoves them through the door
They pay the bills
For social amenities they can’t find
Pay taxes for their castles
Government built in the air
But we know their ancestors
Filthy dogs eating from the king’s crumbs
No; Lets not unknot the knot
Soon a messiah might heed us

In heaven’s book of life,
I heard the poor names are there
In here’s book of life
It is deleted.
Thus, in your head,
Lays your kingdom and glory
Get rich or die trying
Or; be their poor and keep sulking.

Well, like them I saw…
I have not eaten
Flesh gone weak to skeleton
Nevertheless,
The solitude of love within
Keeps me living; I am breathing
But I am moving,
Towards your direction
I see your beam

I feel new
When I see you
From my heart
Seeps through the rays of the sun
Its fun; this love on death line
We survived the genocide
We survived the war
We survived love
We survived us
I love you too.

This poem is dedicated to the abused tribes of Rwanda and Nigeria during their respective civil wars resulting in near human annihilation. Though time has passed, we still feel your pains chilling our bones. The survivors.

For Mother Teresa

For Mother Teresa

to see...

the clarity of beauty between the murky folds of life

to see...

the simple truths of living
between the horror and the endless strike

to see...

the innocent smiles of the children at play
while the elder preach hate and division and continue to slay

to see...

the endless yearning for that simpler better place
away from the hollow emptiness of this ostentatious space

to see...

the open vistas of this pale blue dot
the soft reds and fruity greens as this home is all we have got

to see...

the tears of the dispossessed who have been cruelly cast aside
and while we look the other way from their tears we may never hide

to see...

the endless hunger and despair and killing and greed
in the name of God or of ideology or of some or the other creed

to see...

and to see it all

and still stand tall

to hold on to the humanity

that resides deep within us all

may be our only saving grace

and though all of this sounds quaint and saccharine sweet

I need to remember all that I've said

the next time I look into a teary-eyed desolate face

to see...

that being human is simple if we only look beyond ourselves and see

that we are all one, him and her and them and us and you and me...

The Crucible

I can only begin,
To express what its like,
To have gone through such things,
As the crucible hike,
54 hours of torturing pain,
Which only got worse,
When it started to rain,
6 hours of sleep,
Issued 3 MRE'S,
5 recruits dropped,
Overcome by the heat,
After 2 days of hiking,
We were issued our masks,
Taken into a chamber,
Were we get CS gassed,
With the rest of our strength,
We head for the reaper,
Into the mountains,
We hike deeper and deeper,
80 pounds on our backs,
M16 to our side,
Ascending the mountain,
Screaming painfully inside,
The Reapers a monster,
It can swallow you up,
A truck had to follow,
To pick recruits up,
though it felt like forever,
We had finally arrived,
Beyond exhausted,
and sleep deprived,
Then the DI's scream out,
lets pack up our trash,
its time to head out,
So get off of your ass,
The hike back was torture,
But as we got back,
we ate a meal fit for warriors,
then marched straight to our racks,
Some thought they'd been dreaming,
Some wild cartoon,
But we had really overcome it,
As a team, a platoon!

SPIRIT OF DIALOGUE

In the name of God
Most Merciful, Beneficent
The Gracious and Compassionate
That a difference does not exists

We are making
We are making harmony
In the eyes of God
Solidarity comes, Sincerity in our hearts
Sensitivity in our senses
That a difference does not exists

We are living
We are living in the world of God
Nothing can change this world of God
That a difference does not exists

Oh, God we cry for Peace!
Oh, God we cry for Peace!
And understand other living faiths
That a difference does not exists

To My Dad On This Father's Day

Lord, during this Father's day, I’m so glad…
For giving to me such a special dad!

He’s been very thoughtful and kind!
Fathers like him are very hard to find!

I remember growing up with my brothers…
He was special to us, like “no other!”

As a young boy, he taught me God’s ways.
And I’ve kept it throughout my days!

I’ve often sought his advice and counsel…
Especially when life
was looking “awful!”

He was there to give support
 the best he could...
Trying to help the best way
 he understood.

I suppose now that I’m growing old…
I’m remembering more things that my dad told!

“My father is one in a million.”
 Is what I believe.!
Many blessing from him
 I have received!

May the blessings of God daily surround him!
I’m so thankful that my mother found him!

Thank you Lord for giving to me a dad like this!
May his days ahead be happy
 and blessed!

Your Vanity

Misery weighs down your eyes, as you begin to read.
In this dance of lies, you'll forever lead.
If you can't stand, I'll see you on the other side.
Take my hand, for now the son has died.
I'll reach under the skin, and steal away your disease.
I'll fight and win, as Death becomes a tease.
I fell into fantasy, as I feel your touch.
Swallow your vanity, for you cry too much.
The string of white lights, a full moon casting.
The shadowed nights, are never lasting.
Forever wandering, these cold dark seas.
The world squandering, crying the harshest pleas.
The voiceless won't rest, as they continue squalling.
On this endless quest, I continue falling.
Fall children, dance with every death boy and girl.
The monster will fight again, yet we're all so coy.
Lets fall to our knees, and begin to pray.
Do they hear my pleas, down together we'll lay.
Unrelenting omnipotence, nuturing malevolence.
Angels and Demons, bow before the other.
The unknowing sons, begin to kill their brother.
Leave for me, the crumbling headstones.
Ignore and leave me be, for death has shown.
Leave me to sleep, in this desecrated sanctuary.
In these dreams I weep, yet I tarry.
Will you be my love, will we watch the world burn?
What are the thoughts of, for the dead forever yearn.
No I don't want to die, no not tonight.
I can no longer try, I don't want to fall into the light.
As I climb the stairs, I reach toward the stars.
The heart tears, as it feels the scars.
I begin my ivy climbing, for the voiceless call.
It's the matter of timing, for who will begin their fall?

Jesus MUST Be Our Foundation

All across this great nation..… It seems we lack a solid foundation! As God is tossed out of government and schools. It seems like just about anything rules! Even a symbol of a cross seems to offend. “How dare we call God a friend?” Where are the Godly principles this nation needs? As the heart of this nation continually bleeds. Not many seem to care anymore. As more ungodliness comes ashore! No wonder many people don't know what to believe. A lifestyle of lying, drugs and sex is what they achieve. In many lives, there’s no "moral boundary." Many carrying a lot of "dirty laundry." To those of you who want satisfaction and victory too... There is a "moral compass" that's freely offered to you! This "moral compass," is God's word!. it’s needed in this nation! It speaks of God’s love and his gift of salvation! If you find life is filled with emptiness, with no true meaning. It's in the direction of Jesus that you need to be leaning! You don't have to live in despair and defeat! Jesus' grace and love will make you complete! By Jim Pemberton

to gather all nations,

to bring peace to one world,
where the society may not deserve it.
ti rise out of the undertow of a violent shadow;
blessings and fruit where it may not fit.
not lacking of freedom,
not lacking of anything.
a world where it does not know how valuable or needed it is.
no more danger of spontaneous violence,
where the light can shine for everyone,

Grandma's Becoming A Republican

Grandma’s Becoming A Republican!

There was something that I was able to hear…
Grandma is going to be a Republican this year!

I remember her talking of the great depression.
Many years that created a lot of tension!

I remember her talking of days gone past.
Wondering how much longer
 our country would last.

I remember her talking of doing many things.
And has experienced
what life daily brings!

Because of how things have
 been so dramatic.
She decided long ago to be democratic!

Beyond all of the politics and chatter…
She loves God! And that’s what matters!

We love her dearly! And it’s been decided…
Everything she needs…
God has provided!

We congratulate you grandma with your choice!
We say “we love you!”
With one heart and voice!

Our prayers are with the choice grandma’s givin!!
May God bless her! Each day she’s livin’!

Are We Trying To Get Rid Of God

Are We Trying To Get Rid Of God?

Why is our country trying to remove
God from “everything?”
Do we think about the consequences this will bring?

Our early fathers looked to him for a “moral direction.”
But now we’re burdened down
with “political correction.”

When our country’s leaders signed the constitution…
They had no idea this paper would cause so much “confusion.”

As many judges have torn any “moral fabric” all apart…
It’s like they’ve placed a knife into this country’s heart!

Remove God from our buildings and our schools…
“Anything goes” by man’s interpretations and rules!

Take away the ten commandments from our land.
We are quickly drifting into a “spiritual quicksand.”

What are people looking for in this
 life they’ve been given?
No wonder so many are “mixed up”
in the way they’re livin’!

Once the Bible is removed as this country’s moral guide…
We’ve since gone down a very steep “slippery slide!”

I’m here to tell you that God is our only answer and hope!
He’s the answer to the many on drugs and dope!

He’s the answer to every problem that “ails you.”
He is God! He is powerful and will never fail you!

He’s the one we must look to in a hopeless situation.
He’s the answer to every person in this great nation!

God's Definition of Marriage

God designed marriage as the real thing!
Anything less, is what a counterfeit brings!

His concept of one man and woman is very real.
He’s not interested in bowing to “man’s appeal.”

His court of justice rings very loud and clear!
The truth of his word shall NEVER disappear!

You can look in Genesis and it is found!
He created Adam from the dust of the ground!

He designed Eve from one of his ribs!
They were joined together as both lived!

He didn’t need a constitution to know “their rights.”
He gave them HIS WORD as their guiding light!

Satan has been trying to pervert what God created!
This is a truth. And need not be debated!

We have cheapened the value of the marriage institution!
And have added needless
chaos and confusion!

Through the Bible, one husband and wife are taught!
Unless you want to live in Sodom, as did Lot!

Ungodly perversions take many forms and kinds.
And it soon piles up garbage into our minds!

“What God has put together.”
 “Let no man put asunder.!”
Many ideas of “marriage,” is a total blunder!

One man and one woman is what God ordained in Eden.
It was Adam and Eve.
Not Adam and Steven!

The choices in life are yours! And yours alone!
Who is going to be the Lord, of your heart and home?

box of love

So just yesterday,
I found this box of love
It was right outside my door
I think it came from up above

In my dreams,
I wrap it up in bubble wrap and send it all away
It finds a pair of enemies that i think it can save

When they get it,
They'll pass it between each other
Lettin' go of lame excuses to get back at one another

Just picture it,
I see two high primates passin' the peace pipe instead of feelin' irate.
Just smilin' because days have been givin';
And pilin' up their leaves to share the lovin' with the women

But in reality,
I know this can't be done
So I took this box of love and I put it in a song
I hope one day those enemies would like to sing along

Great Nations

Oh great nations young and old
standing together we will not fall.
How great we are,
with our weapons thrown down our walls now crumbling.
Under one song we stand strong.
We are free! Yes, we are free!
Religions causing strife now stand under loving light.
Of peace and cooperation, this is our fight.
Oh great nations big and small
we travel onward united, one and all,
for we have arisen to hear the call.

Trapped

A prisoner of darkness
Was all I could be.
Trapped and alone inside
Along a blackened sea
No one to hold me
To keep me alive
Completely abandoned
No reason to survive.

Then there was a light
Small but getting brighter
It drowned out the darkness
And made me a fighter. . .
Before i'd go with everything
And let them chain me down
Now I start to question them
I start to keep my ground.

Why should I let them stab me?
And see my blood run free
There's a reason that I need to live
To let myself be me.
No one holds me down
Without paying a price.
Why should they anger me
Then expect me to be nice?

I now... Have a beating heart
And a gleam in my eyes
Someone to kiss and hug me
And keep my soul alive.

Used To Be

I used to be a somewhat normal American. Divorced, three kids, and a job. Looking into others souls. Making evaluations. Notes in charts. Different backgrounds, circumstances, degrees of madness, more true than some realities. All had one thing in common. A need for love. Though searched for high and low. Not found in the liquid, shot into arms, or the spirits contained in a bottle. White puffy powder, not snow. Legs uncrossed, inviting love that doesn't last. Now receiving medication, served up in a cup. Disillusioned. In need of a solid love, like a tree they can climb up in. Well rooted and grounded, stable and secure. Fed by living water, to quench their thirst. To help them back up when they fall, or are pushed.
A locked away society cry, and the government doesn't hear, doesn't see. What will become of all these people, or you, or me. Looking to be broken out, from without, by what is only found within. Playing a game of hide and seek, some times no one wins, yet others are found.

This Fourth Of July

This 4th Of July To my fellow Americans, during this 4th of July. I have a thought.. . Here's why… When we salute our flag ever so grand. Our country's foundation is sinking in "quicksand." This is because. From God... We're way "off course." Driven by lust, greed and an "immorality force ." Our ungodly government continues to rule. Anything of God has been removed from the school. We hear of "separation of church and state." Anything of God... Many people seem to hate! America! Listen to what this message is about! Everything of God is slowly being taken out! We must return to Jesus!... He gives true freedom indeed!. The truth word of God’s . Our country must read! Living for God is worth the cost! Without HIM... America is forever lost! Graze the presidents

Do you love people, childs, country and world more than your own live?
Than graze presidents and leaders
with heavy knots, strong sticks, iron rods.
Beat them, hart, wound their nice building carcasses,
deform their saturated with rarely ingredients bodies,
reshape their excellent trained torsos
merciless and severe
for their sake and savings and bless of nation.

All presidents and governors look as asses
able to learn and be patient
only through terrible beating and sufferings.
Only after long termed awful treatments
by own awoken people
from generation to generation
their majesties have getting to respect
very slowly and gradually
the human rights, law, justice and other firmaments
of sustained civil society,
stopping for ever
to kill the freedom and opponents,
to dream about live long presidency,
and stealing billion dollars
from the purse of country,
turning the nation
toward the Black Hole of universal corruptions.

So graze presidents and leaders
if you love people and country
and own soul more than your up-to-date living.

In Our Own Galaxy

We walked to a place far away.

A new galaxy of passion and spirituality.

He gathered a bed of stars, so that I could shine above the earth.

He made the moon our mirror of life.

He gave me everything I never dreamed.

It was larger than imagination.

No pain. No sorrow. No distractions. Just actions.

Aligning the planets in an orderly fashion. We made love.

Deep in my soul is where he planted a seed.

Who said that man and man couldn't build this masterpiece.

Goddesses of Beauty, Gods of Seas.

I know now how it feels to exalt within their realm.

He made me feel superhuman.

I too revisited his soul the same.

We deceived pain. We sustained.

We made what is so complex, plain.

And the heavens will still ordain.

See we can never stop the rain.

But we can reach the clouds.

Because they thought our love couldn't bare the ground.

But we inherit the sound of thunder, the strikes of light.

To succeed. We live in peace. We don't Have to fight.

We want to be able to love. Is that a travesty?

But he made it all possible in our own galaxy.

See when he touches me he says he's tracing the constellations.

Signifying the trust and unity, and the dedication.

He says I make his moon full. Make his planets orbit.

How could a world so FREE think of that as morbid? Yet we absorb it.

Cause its been said "Ye are all gods."

And in our galaxy, we reign supreme.

Against all odds!

ptsd of late stage capitalism

i miss the softness of her touch

cut short by Lehman brothers’ harsh

   collapse

i miss kindness of time before the crash

economy in relative peace

living off fumes of postwar boom

before post-traumatic stress of recession-plagued world

robbed me of ability to fulfill my dreams

and fully reveal my inner self

thanks to din of private property

and rumble of greed

world is psychotic, denial laden

- where love can be a marketplace

humans commodified to the extreme -

i yearn for a world

where people can be people

judged on the merits of their person

not their circumstance

for in such a world

there would be no need to worry

for inherent goodness in every human being

is a guarantee

someday that world will be realized

this i know for sure

this poem a dedication

and an affirmation

of that truth.

Please Heal Our Nation Lord Jesus

Please Heal Our Nation Lord Jesus! It seems like many are influenced by the polls of the day. So many are curious as to what others say. Things that seemed of value, not too many years ago. Have changed the very heart Of this country’s soul. Respect for each other and God has often changed. As the “moral fabric” of this nation is being “rearranged.” A desire to serve God, many feel doesn't belong. Many can’t tell the difference between right and wrong. In spite of what many have tried to achieve. They often don’t really know what they believe. Too often, Godly morals are turned “upside down.” Encouraging a tide of evil, that can easily be found. There’s a lot of heartache happening all over this land. As many are confused and really don’t understand! Our only hope and true solution is God alone! We need to invite him in to our hearts and home! He is what’s needed in the uncertainly ahead. He is our living water and our daily bread! His principles of truth need to be our way of living! His life for our sin and failures, is what he’s giving! Please come Lord Jesus! And accept this invitation! Only you can heal and restore our great nation! By Jim Pemberton

Are We Being Driven to God's Elimination

Are We Being Driven to God’s Elimination? In the names of diversity and anti-discrimination. It’s like we’re being driven to God’s elimination! God is being “forced” from many institutions! All in the name of this country’s constitution! We’re told that God and this country must be “separated.” Anything less is what many would call; “discriminated.” Any forms of Godly virtues or values are “torn down.” Any symbol of a cross, is often “removed from the town.” It’s no wonder that this country’s in such a big mess! And yet this country wants to be strong and blessed? “What shall the righteous do if the foundations are destroyed?” Meanwhile, the tide of ungodliness, is often “enjoyed.” Those who are trying to remove God! You must beware! His judgment is soon coming! And will catch you unaware! There’s will come a day! When God’s wrath you will endure! The wages of sin is death! This is very true and sure! People may think that removing God is the “thing to do.” Anyone who attempts to do will wind up as “a fool.” Only God can fill the void in life and true love within! Only he has the power to free your soul from sin! The words; “in God we trust,” in our lives must be applied! Everything we’ll ever need… God has supplied! God is this country’s hope! It’s only true foundation! We need HIM right now! To come and heal our nation! By Jim Pemberton

Prayer of Thanksgiving

I thank you Lord for life,

 health,and strength.

I pray for the haters,

Who think they have me bent.

I love you Lord with all of my,

Heart, my mind, and my soul.

I know that even if I strive,

To live right and allow you

To rule my life, then all of

My battles for me you'll fight

And win. I will then see

You and I'll walk the paved

Streets of gold in Heaven.

I pray that each day,

I help someone to come,

Your way. I love you Lord,

To express it there's not

Enough to say.

I'm Not A Politician

I’m Not A Politician… There’s one thing that I make no pretention. I’m in no way what you’d call a “politician.” I don’t try to get involved in the “politics of the day.” But I do try to listen to what God has to say! I’m not interested in what numbers the polls will bring. I’d rather trust Jesus, who can take care of everything! The good news, is that the bad news is all wrong! My life with Christ, is where I certainly belong! Christ is my hope and focus! I’d rather believe him! I don’t trust what I watch or hear from the news men! In God’s kingdom there are no politics involved! Every problem facing me.. Christ already solved! I want Jesus to be my life’s focus and attention! May the Holy Spirit guide me into a Godly direction! With Jesus in my heart… I’m joyful and glad! I know I’ll never see him in a political ad! He is and will always be the one that I’ll need! He’s not corrupted by wickedness and greed! No matter how you may believe this world will end! Christ will always be the one you trust and depend! You don’t have to wait for a ballot to come to you! Vote for Jesus today! His presence is all around you! There’s no limit to the terms of life he’s giving! He’ll bless you within and give everlasting living! By Jim Pemberton

I will earn my drum

I will rise
I will shine
I will concur.

a fall from pedestal

A fall from the Pedestal

And they saw this man a great orator, and he was black,
in America (if not in Uganda); and people said, this man
and his race know about inequality, so they made him
a president and the whole world was jubilant, so much
so that the forever naive Norwegian gave him a peace
prize medal for peace promised...one day soon.

And nothing happened, the applause stilled; on the sky
more and more drones flew and the oppressed masses
continued to be subjugated... and his fine oratory began
sounding hollow and we came to realise you can’t judge
a man by the colour of his skin, not by his silken rhetoric,
but by his actions and sense of justice...

THE SINS OF SOCIETY

The mid-sixties weren't fun for a teen working...
I put foot on this prosperous and beautiful land
and looked forward to a great future,
but my plan didn't go as smoothly
as I thought it would have instead.
My question was, " Go to College,
earn a degree or help mother and sisters? "
I choose to help them procrastinating.
From job to job I went hardly missing a day realizing what it would have cost me,
but wages stayed the same or rarely increased much,
I loved to work and earn my weekly paycheck;
sadly, many boys of my age were drafted and went to war...
some returned, many didn't and being the only son,
they didn't draft me but witnessing the horror, the sadness, the crying of soldiers,
and seeing all that: was like being there where the sky exploded with fire and smoke.
Isn't fate the course that nobody can predict regardless how scientists envision it...
if it were so easy to foresee, all would have control over it and all catastrophes
could be avoided to save millions of lives? Doesn't the Bible warn us to shun divination?
It's the sinful mind, the greedy heart, the unfaithful spouse, the disobedient child
making us stand at the crossroads deciding which steps to take to prevent a tragedy.

With my other half i will paint in brick walls.
At the top,maby above all,
i will write these two words.

FADED DRAPES

Faded Drapes
Cindy those old deceiving clothes which you
claimed your mother insisted you wear were
nothing but a homeless person's clothing but
could have been faded drapes which might have
been improved with grape stains

You looked wonderful in newer clothes but more
specifically in the newer clothing which I picked
out for and gave to you but I was the observant one;
the one who was not only right for you but also right
about you

Why you obediently wore those ugly drapes before
we met and toward the end of our rightful friendship
is beyond understanding which is equally true about
why you ran away and continue to evade me- if I ever
see you again it just might be in some old faded drapes

For Everything There Is A Season And A Divine Reason

There is a time for each season…
To everything made…
There is a divine reason.

A time for purpose under
 the heavens above…
A time for meaning from a God of love.

A time to be born. A time to die…
A time to farm the ground
 under the beautiful sky.

A time to kill. A time to heal...
A time to tear down and
to build up with a passion and zeal

A time for weeping. A time for laughing…
A time to mourn. A time for dancing.

A time to keep...
A time to throw away.
A time to tear. A time to make amends today.

A time to get. A time for losing…
A time to keep. And to give
 away at our choosing.

A time for silence. A time to speak…
A time for each hour
 and day of the week.

A time for love. A time for hate…
A time for war. A time for peace at your gate.

How will you spend the time
 God has given to you?
What is your choice? What will you do???

May this be a time living in
God’s purpose and design.
He created you and made
everything beautiful in his time!

We Are Trading God's Laws With Our Own Laws

Too often, our country embraces
 an ungodly cause.
And end up passing a “new” set of laws.

As God’s holy truth is being abandoned.
We come up with another law, at random!

What once were our laws for many years.
Are being removed… With little tears.

As more people “indulge” in ungodly things.
The wrath of God, is what this brings!

What’s pure and holy, seems not to be relevant.
More ungodly sets of laws are clearly evident!

The past foundations are now being destroyed.
So this new “freedom” can be “enjoyed.”

This country is being destroyed from within.
By the new “tolerance” of so much sin!

We can try to pretend that we’re “wise.”
But in the end, we’ll find it’s all LIES!

As the relevance of God, seems to disappear.
His judgment draws ever so near!

I’m going to live for God,
 in the “old fashioned” way!
And will live by what his
 words have to say!

God was here! Before any of us existed!
Let’s not get his truth
“confused” or “twisted!”

Such powerful boundaries

that force the crossing of a dangerous tighrope

Man’s all-encompassing, unfortunate trapeze

is smaller even than a hair’s breadth

yet still so significant

a great divider for mental states

love and hate

bravery and stupidity

courage and fear

genius and insanity

How sad that small borders actually unseen

are virtually the driving forces behind stigmas

held practically everywhere

Flags wave wildly for this star-studded tribute
Brave words drift softly from mouths of those gathered around

You'd Think Living For God Is A Bad Thing

You’d Think Living For God Is A “Bad thing.”

You’d think living for God is a “bad thing.”
Many have tried to remove him from everything!

As millions of lives are on drugs, sex and dope.
It’s no wonder why many have given up hope!

Just when we need God the most... He’s cast out!
We’re discovering what a
“Godless society” is all about!

Who are you going to turn to when you need help the most?
Are you serving the true God?
 Or chasing a “ghost?”

I don’t care how many courts say he does not belong.
His words are truth. They’re powerful and STRONG!

He brings help and healing in his arms divine.
He’s still the same God thru the passing of time!

Behold the Glory of the Lord and his righteousness!
It’s only in him that America find true happiness!

Jesus is coming soon in his glory and splendor.
He wants for you to be with him now and forever!

Whatever people say… God does love you!
He is here right now and wants to be with you!

God... Not the government is your true supply.
He is Jehovah... He is El Shaddai!

Won’t you come to him and
make him your friend?
You’ll find true hope and
an atonement for sin!

Jesse Jackson - Kosovo Mission

      JESSE JACKSON - KOSOVO MISSION
         Belgrade, 1999
They thought to the west
and the homes they all knew
in a meloncholy dark and blue,
these three of a kind on a mission of peace,
these three knights willing to die for you.

America's best
they had dreams of their own,
but now held in a land and alone
where everything is hate and loose in a world
that beats with a heart of stone.

A man from the south;
of their home now unreal,
like a dream time can never steal;
who had hope still alive that love conquers all,
and a love he'll always feel.

His sword was his word,
and he spoke them so well;
they tolled like a liberty bell
Jesse Jackson was truth and light from us all
and the three are now home from hell.

What If Christmas Never Came

UNSUPPORTED CODE What If… Christmas Never Came???

What if Christmas never happened?
What if Christmas never came?
Things around here would be different!
It wouldn’t be the same!

What if the baby Jesus was never born in a manger?
Mankind would be in serious trouble. We’d all be in danger!

If the baby Jesus wasn’t born. There would be no nativity.
We wouldn’t be able to display this during our “festivity.”

It’s almost like this now!
 It’s an “ever increasing business.”
It seems like nearly everyone wants
  “Christ out of Christmas!”

Why does it seem like Christmas is
 losing it’s true meaning?
The very words; “Merry Christmas,”
seem to be quickly disappearing!

Many say; “Happy Holiday.”
They worry they may “offend.”
Having a “holiday” without Christ….
Once again!

We need to put Jesus Christ back into
our CHRISTmas season!
He is what Christmas is about! HE is the very reason!

May we all take some time to rejoice in our savior’s birth.
May there be shouts of JOY! From the corners of the earth!

Let’s not take Christ out of our joyous celebration!
We need him so much right now!
 All over this great nation!

May we bring to him a heart of love
 for everything he’s done.
As we bring honor to Christ. God’s precious son!

May we continually offer to him a heart filled with praise!
Not only at Christmas time… But all of our days!

Some beautiful Russian women come from very selective stock. These fine ladies can live between Murmansk and Vladivostok. They can come from cities like St. Petersburg or Moscow. Anywhere in Russia, they make it over here somehow. Most men think those Russian women are so sweet. They are sweethearts I would drop everything to meet. At anytime, their presence causes such a marvelous sensation. They are greeted with open arms in this nation. Will you get them quickly through customs and immigration?

Are We Discriminating Against God

We often hear this topic across our nation. Another person crying; “discrimination.” In our many attempts to not discriminate. It seems like it’s God that we seek to eliminate. It seems like we’ve come up with our own “rules.” And somehow have turned into a bunch of “fools.” We accept many perversions of various kinds… But God himself? We seem to close our minds! In many of our lives, we’ve “kicked “ him out. And refuse what he really is about! The words, “In God we trust...” Our money bears it! Anything of God? We’re afraid to share it! It seems like the courts almost say he doesn’t exist! And have brought much confusion into our midst! As many say it’s “offensive” to display a cross… Many godly values have already been lost! It’s time to wake up America! And begin to see! The kind of country we’re beginning to be! A country that’s foundation is getting off course. Being driven by a wicked and ungodly force! Out only hope is in God! And him alone! We must invite him back into our homes! To God and his word we must hold secure and fast! He is our only hope, that our country will last! By Jim Pemberton

We Are Not Artificial We Are Legion

The stagnate machine planted firmly, rusted gears laboring to drudge along.
It does not function properly anymore; it has become obsolete.
The workers no longer need the machine to live their lives.
They can design a new system, built upon self-sustaining values.
It once labored greatly to support its work force. The machine now hinders the lives of the workers.
The workers grew so reliant upon the machine they thought they had become part of it, cogs in the system.
Now they realize more and more each day, that not only are their lives separate from the machine, without it they are more able to focus on the fundamental values of life.

Rap is quick, witty and fun.

Poetry is smooth, rhythmic and heartfelt.

Rap and poetry had a love child.

A daughter, named Spoken Word.

She grew to maintain the better characteristics of her parents;

From Rap, she took freestyle, freedom, and grass roots movement.

From Poetry, she took imagery, theme, and voice.

Together, all three, as common forms of expression,

spread to every rapper, poet and storyteller in the world.

The Mighty Mighty Nation

The Mighty Mighty Nation

I know, Look at her beauty
dwelling among those who love
life itself her radiant beauty
her patience, wisdom, and faith
bind strong the family of God
for she is the love of God
and she lives within his children

and did I hear one say
that we'll travel all things someday
things mighty and the very small
planets and mountains that stretch into the universe
mighty mighty and tall
and for all the places that we will travel and go
we will respect the homes to be given us
by the God of hosts
and learn to watch our tongues, our eyes, and our nose
and to keep the royal laws
and plant seeds for his majesty to water where he will
that his love will find new ground in which to grow
never ending life, power, and wonder
and don't you ever wonder and don't you know
that many of our lives are as living books
in the great library of the one who already knows
so let us all write our stories
unto the glory of his throne

i wonder how, man decides the meaning of marriage

is it not bound by force, is it not a core of constant acceleration, 9.8 meters per second
is it bound by the imaginary book of rules, is it not based on core of trust, honesty, love

why shall you stay quiet in front of a lion, but behind, you fight, a fight worthy of an sultan
you lash, and spread as a cobra, but afaced with the "enemy" you are nothing more than a domestic pet!!!!!!!

then in all, my dear sir, shall you answer thy question

why must you decide the fate of marriage

is it wrong, to marry the one you love, besides the boundary of gender
is it wrong, dear sir, is it
that you must decide thy fate of marriage
freedom is prosperous, freedom is not limited!!!!

September 11th 2001

It still seems like a dream,
Or a scene from a bad movie.
It was hard to take in then
And it hurts to see it now.

I see reminders everyday in papers, films and on TV,
There they are standing tall.
But New York has a big heart,
You can hurt it but you’ll never break the core.

When the first plane crashed and we heard the news,
We were filled with grief and sorrow.
But then later on when the second plane crashed,
Our grief was mixed with fear of our tomorrow.

All around the world the news broke and everyone stopped,
Then the third plane hit the Pentagon.
What in the world was happening here?
On September the eleventh, 2001.

When the Twin Towers collapsed one at a time,
We still couldn’t believe the news we were hearing or seeing.
The devastation, the tragedy, the loss of lives,
Now three quarters of the world were grieving.

Pictures we were seeing, voices we were hearing,
Sadness and tears in all our hearts and eyes.
We reached out to touch, but they had gone,
The worst part of all was not saying goodbye.

Out of all this tragedy and despair,
There are so many people that shine through.
Most of the world extending their hands and hearts,
But all of the ‘Heroes’ of this are all of you.

We’ll grieve everyday and pray for those,
Who lost someone and never let us forget.
That we stood tall and side-by-side,
On September the eleventh, 2001.

For Pete Seeger Huddie Leadbelly Ledbetter and Woody Guthrie

For Pete Seeger, Huddie ‘Leadbelly’ Ledbetter and Woody Guthrie

it was a long time ago
when you put your words into song

'this machine surrounds hate and forces it to surrender' you scribbled on your old guitar

and you wielded that banjo & guitar as weapons,

fiddling out a hail of truth

of solidarity

of angry, vehement calls for peace

you said of Leadbelly, that that Huddie Ledbetter was a helluva man

you sang and spoke through dust clouds and relief lines

you taught us all, to seek out hope wherever we can

and when they tried to call all of you goddamned reds

you sang on ever louder and louder, rattlin' their prejudices as they slept in their plush beds

you rode and you rambled and thumbed your way around

the land that is my land and your land too

for you believed all this earth was shared common ground

and when you sang of overcoming one day

the injustice and pain that you witnessed along the way

they further branded you a commie, a pinko or a nigger-lover or a jew-lover, or an enemy of the state

while your banjo and your guitars continued to surround their blind hate

'this machine kills fascists' you etched on that guitar as well

but they were all deaf, for they could not hear the tolling of the bell

'the bell of freedom

the hammer of justice

the song of love between your brothers and your sisters'

and they knew not that they were the ones who would sizzle in their own bigoted hell

and then came the marches and you were there too

with dr. king in Birmingham and Selma, and you faced their spit, their venomous rage, their clubs and sticks and knives, but you always knew

that your cause was just and that the truth must one day prevail

however long it may take, you never gave up, you sang and you marched and you strummed yourselves, victoriously, into their jail

and then they shot him, they shot Dr. King dead, as they burnt and lynched many more

yet you stood firm, you never wavered, your blood was red after all, and they could not tarnish the truth's core

and so it came to pass, that woody went on his way, to his pastures of plenty up in the sky

and Huddie too, said his last and final goodbye

and you were then one, and you may have felt alone and overwhelmed, by the battles and with all that was wrong

but then you saw that the people were with you

as they had been, all along

and so you continued to fiddle with that old banjo

dragging it through Newport and Calcutta and Dar-es-Salaam

and through countless unknown halls in numberless unknown towns

across this earth, turning, slowly, putting smiles of togetherness, on faces that were once pock-marked with disillusioned frowns
so...
today as I jot down these poorly scribbled words for all of you
for Woody, Huddie, and Pete
I do so in gratitude, for after all the travails that you've been through
I know that you know that this world still has its fair share of hate, and of loss and of injustice and of gloom
but I also know that you know that though all the old flowers may have gone
there always will be, as there always must be,

a fresh flower somewhere, that will quietly bloom.

This Memorial Day

We salute every soldier who’s
 served this great nation.
And offer a heart of thanks
 and appreciation!

We salute each member
of our armed forces.
And are thankful for their
 efforts and resources!

We salute the many who
protect our borders too.
We’d be in trouble…
If not for people like YOU!

We salute every son and
daughter lost in a war.
YOU are what serving this
 country is meant for!

We salute the officers who’ve
guided our women and men.
Our prayers are with you!
And our love from within!

We salute our veterans!
Wherever they may be!
Those who served on
 land, air and sea!

Offering prayer to the
 Lord is our belief…
That he will guide our
 Commander-in-Chief!

As we observe Memorial Day this year…
Let’s offer our soldiers
 love, hope and cheer…

May God bless them in
 all they endeavor
And his peace be with them
 today and forever!!

Intelligence first, Retribution next
Clinical response the worlds text
Which free country is next in line
To be hit by this cowardly crime.

New York Cities patriots, suffer further pain
As Fire Officers and Police are slain
They indeed are part of this attack
So many of them never came back
Honourable dads, cousins and wife's
Mourn their lost ones, who lost their lives.

The World will remember
This September deathly sound
When iconic giants crashed to the ground
Hero's in the air, and on Manhattan Earth
Proved to us all, whats humans are worth.

In respect to the decent people who perished on that September day.

God Bless America

Gracious thought has been dropped from human inhabitants.
Our hearts have become cold and distant to almost everything.
Deference has no meaning for us or any other human.

Before we can carry onward, we must remember the beginning.
Lessons remembered are the key to our future roads to travel.
Every soul must search inward to see where we are headed.
Success is truly wonderful and we have fulfilled our winning.
Success without faith is gone, and the road less traveled tortures.

America has blessed each one of us from the beginning in faith.
Mercy is upon our leaders, for they have lost the true reality.
Erasing their hearts and minds of the reality, united we stand.
Refuse greed mongers of their desires, replacing with honesty.
Individuality of the representatives was our ancestor’s goal.
Call out God Bless America in truth, faith, freedom, to all.
Anything less will be the end of whatever time we have left.

Rulership

God has set before you Jesus the son of man
given him his power the only one who can
Jesus walked on water and legions overthrew
healed every illness did as was sent to do

Few have little comprehension of his gifts to men
how they are empowered when Jesus lives within
to be the Sons of God have his Light shine through
understand his Words and it's energy imbue

God has given treasures the inheritance of Son
that they become like master God's Beloved One
they are under tutors until they understand
the meaning of his rulership and in it's service stand

The Sovereigns of the nations do their leadership abuse
are corrupt in practice and righteous judgment do refuse
the takers of bribes and justice do pervert
on the path to the top care not who they hurt

Solomon gave his heart to know folly and wisdom
every Son of God will into this knowledge come
for God will in his kingdom have only those who serve
as only those who walk in Love treat others as deserve

The working of the Secret since garden was foretold
that a government by God determined in days of old
God has chosen the weak and those the world despised
that they should bare his image to Jesus rank will rise

All governments and nations in adversary's hand do stand
to our Lord did offer them for act of worship did demand
Jesus refused the offer , devotion to his Father True
prophetic Word of God this world already overthrew

Arise oh sleepers do open eyes and rise
throw down the World and sever all your ties
understand what is written the King is drawing near
war is coming to the World collect he will whats dear

Jesus has built his Father's temple with many gem and stone
descend it will from heaven within his throne will home
God is collecting from man his priests and Kings
they will govern from his temple dispense his holy things

The nations to the temple for instruction will come
with the adversary gone Light can shine on everyone
you must choose your side before God's war ensues
for your Father wants you happy and never Love refuse

Bipolar Nations

Sitting in front of you
Cameras dazing right at me
Sometimes this seems more like a fantasy
Than a brutal reality

Many think we haven't grown
What could I say for them to believe
There's the option of repeating the same crap
It'd be historical if there was altering idea I conceived

They wouldn't like it
I'd get all sorts of resistance
They don't like changes
Nothing from everyday life that's not consistent

So when I open my mouth,
And talk to the light
I'll ask the people of this world
If bipolar nations can establish a path for a future that's right

Who Needs You Now

You have fought for your country
You have heard the calls of death
And felt the loss of blood
And now, no one hears or cares
About the tears you cry
You fought a fools war
Inspired by heroic deeds
Majestic words of honor and fame
From people who never knew your name
Many were those who fled
And endured behind their protest signs
But you, you fought the war
Lost your limbs and gained insight into reality
It was you who came back less than human
And now you stand alone at night
Lost and forgotten men
Tell me, tell me who needs you now
Where are the people
Who gave you hell
Where are the people
Who cried to bring you home
Who marched for your life
While you marched to your death
Where are the people
Who loved you when it was the thing to do
And fought for your cause
While you wondered what it was
As you watched your buddies fade away
Heroes and medals
Tell me, what does it all mean
Now that you stand alone at night
Lost and forgotten men
And tell me, tell me, who needs you now
Now that our memory fades
Of those who served and the reasons why
All we seem to do
Is stand aside and watch them die
And tell me Brothers
Who needs you now?

Gerrymandering

Those spoken words that can't be taken back come back as incendiary
attacks.  How many rough relationships must one go through before one
finds smooth?  Is it me or you? Don't be fooled. We are the key ingredient
that our kids feed on. Do they grow strong or limp along?
Is there life out there? Is there hurt after mistakes?
Is the Lord's day really all that great? What about the other days of the
week?  The world continues spinning,  this concept of us is
revolutionary.  Together we find balance in give and
take, the reorientation of space so that the stars you look upon don't crumble
and fall. Heaven is two feet from the ground.  A morning fog we walk through
daily.  Good quickly dissipates and we're left wondering how heaven drifted so
far away. What happened to Sunday?  How did the Sabbath move from
Saturday?  How did we become disenchanted?  Separate but equal,  so
political our lies are believable.  Can I count on your vote?  Sure (not really).
Stop gerrymandering.  What's mine is ours. Erase the lines that divide.
Come close to close.  Let me peer through you, stir that ocean inside of you.
Let our problems fade in the distance like a pier five miles away.
Rise above crosses and steeples above the morning mist that evaporates
when the sun first kisses it. Let me hold you in my heaven till noon,
lay with you in evening, give you that resurrective feeling at the first stroke of
midnight.  Your dark knight with whispers of goodnight, choir preaching, have
you heard a good word? Even after all that we see reaches oblivion,
I got you. Going to ride it out until the waves become smooth.
If still waters run deep, sit down so I can quench my thirst in your
baptismal pool. Dive into your postrapedic positions and serenade you with
what is coming next. Rain falling on violet painted window sills on the inside it
sounds like a lullaby. We've mastered this concept so hard to come by. We
can't do drive-bys,  can't duck and hide. Us and we go together the way
summer follows spring. What you take away, give it back new. Be my
solstice,  a day that separates and joins seasons. My soul sister,  soul mate
and soul date: expiration of forever and a day. Together you and I with
mountains to climb,  storms to soar beyond, and a heaven to get into,
mornings to walk through.  No more gerrymandering.  A hope you can believe
in. I am T.S. Lewis and I approve this blessing. Let's make it smooth.

Love's Easy

Were all victims
(and mutual in that way.)
You have to feel for everyone.
We're all hiding something.
A secret
-That no one else has to know-
So don't ask.
Wonder, Don't ponder
Feel my eyes on your soul
And I'll fell yours.
That's really all it takes.
Besides,
What am I but a niche in your life?
And you in mine?

Are You Offended By God

It seems like there’s many people becoming “defensive.” As anything of God, is seemingly being “offensive.” People can peddle their smut and filth around. But a cross or nativity? They must come down! People can watch acts of fornication on their t.v. But, talking about God? “Why that’s offensive to me!” People often talk about their constitutional “rights.” Perhaps someone upstairs “turned out the lights!” Its amazing how money is spent getting God “removed.” What is it exactly that people are trying to prove? What’s next? Taking “in God we trust,” off our money? It could happen very soon! I’m not trying to be funny! Think about what’s happening and taking place! We’re told that we can’t pray in public? Or say grace? This whole country is being turned “upside down.” Our very foundations are being “tossed around!” In what’s being pursued as “political correctness…” Has left in many lives… A total weakness! God is being replaced what is “socially appealing.” Much of what’s in our society has no real meaning! A person can marry anyone they want, or smoke pot.. But what the truth of God’s word, can’t be taught? It’s time that we come to God, and totally repent! Before another wasted day we have spent! Sooner or later, God’s judgment will come out! Our lives need to be changed, and cleansed throughout! Jesus is the answer! Our only hope of salvation! We need him now! All across this great nation! By Jim Pemberton

Why Do We Take Christ Out of Christmas

Why Do We Take Christ Out of Christmas? Christmas is the only holiday we often don’t call by name. We often forget about the true reason that Christ came. It’s the only holiday that we often call “a holiday.” It’s true meaning, is often, taken away! It’s more than the tree and all of the glittering lights… It’s time to think about the Bethlehem star so bright! It’s more than going shopping at the malls… More than, “Jingle Bells,” or “Deck the Halls!” It’s more than seeing how many people we can buy for. Or that clearance sale, you’re willing “to die for!” It’s more than buying the “newest in entertainment.” Or receiving a gift that may “cause an embarrassment.” Beyond all of the presents and all we truly believe in. Let’s all come to Christ Jesus and receive him! Let’s think about his birth, and his death on the cross! Without HIM… The true meaning of Christmas is lost! He brings the hope, joy and cheer that’s needed! Won’t you listen to his voice? That often goes unheeded? Christ is what’s important! And shouldn’t be left out! He’s what matters! And is what Christmas is all about! Let’s be joyful! It was for all of us that he came! And take this time to bring honor and glory to his name! By Jim Pemberton

Remove Your Blinders

No heartbeat will pass through these teeth
Nothing's child will digest, rest dead inside me
A plead or two, violent rages ignored
What did her smiling eyes mean to you?
I know you saw her grinning

Let me tell you, child bearing a heavy heart:
Karma is alive and kicking
Every heartbeat has purpose

Sick to my stomach I discover much truth
Humans ripping flesh from bones-- I have a bone to pick with you
To what extent of this insanity does it prosper our youth?
May I remind you of meals to spare, the freedom to choose?

I wonder everyday, "Were you even hungry?"
Friend, eating is for survival, to thrive, keep these eyes blinking
Not to slit something's throat
Believe me

No longer will I blind myself from sick, real cruelty
Look at his face
Have you seen him cry?
Are your eyes still smiling?
Three days to live and he can not wait to die

Stop this vicious cycle
Let nature shine through
They were here before me and before you
Wouldn't you liked to be saved by grace?
Thankful for words on a believed page?
Rescued from a life threatening disease of ignorance I hate?
One more rescue breath at the scene
Open your eyes wide
We are that change

Waiting...

Waiting... By: Candice

He listens in the dark at the warfare in the distance.

With each passing day his heart grows colder.

His passion for violence grows immensely

and the remnants of his " once was life" are no longer fresh in his mind.

Gunfire and roadside bombs were now a part of his everyday life.

He''d give anything to be at home, warming a bottle for a midnight feeding,

or preparing to change a diaper who had been a victim of a disastrous explosion.

He smiles to himself thinking of his new baby boy

and prays to God that he will return home safely to hold the precious miracle of life

that he had not yet laid eyes or hands on.

He tightly closes his eyes to hold back the threat of oncoming tears.

Images of a deadly blast just days before crowd his mind,

He begins to weep.

This war torn life would affect him for all eternity.

He was in fact, a victim of war.

He would never know another restful night.

Rest doesn''t come easy for a man who has seen men blown to pieces by bombs and lifeless
on the terrain.

However the disaster of a lost life somehow brings him strength to drudge through another day.

He takes out the crumpled birth announcement.,

reads the print and gently tucks it away.

He had never known such an emptiness.

Everyday he waits.

For what he is not sure.

He just prays in the end, it will have been worth it.

The Coming Judgement

Escaping God's Judgement

Judgement shall begain
at the house of God/
We shall all face God's "correction rod."

It will begin with the righteous...
What shall the unsaved do?
They can pray and run...
where will they run to?

If the righteous are scarcely saved.
 Where will the ungodly hide?
Every "trick in the world" has already been tried!

It's time to "stop playing games"--
no more "pretending."
This world(as we know it)will soon be ending!

Come before God now...
Kneel before his throne.
It's only be accepting his son can
you have an eternal home!

You can try fooling the people
you meet each Sunday.
But a day of reckoning with God
 will happen someday/

"Forgive me Lord. I have sinned!"
must be spoken.
So every weight and bondage
can now be broken!

He loves you so much and desires
to make you whole!
By his blood... your sins can
 be as white as snow!

When God's judgement comes...
You needn't be ashamed.
Reach out to him now...
 and call on his name!

ask the river

As humanity wanders

through terrifying valleys

I go to ask river

why is earth irrigated by terrified tears of the innocent and helpless?

river stays silent

   pouring into sea

   pouring into sea

I go down and ask river

why is the soil made red by the blood of women and children?

river stays silent

   pouring into sea

   pouring into sea

And then it came to me

river is telling a story

about truths inevitability

corruption misery and destruction

no match for truth that lies within

the truth playing itself out before the world

murdered children

speak of need

for new love world

river tells me this story

as it washes into sea

deer dance to truth song every morning

and birds sing it

_________

conclusion: dawn time

interesting how dawn is red

reminding us of the blood of innocents

river o river thank you…

may sea finally absorb all currents of misery

and may we be one again.

The Bangladeshi People

I am not ugly but no one loves me
They are so hungry for sex and money!

I am not sexually impotent guy
But up to now my life is full of good bye!

The people insult me for my gray hairs
They do the things whatever devil dares!

God knows I am not at all a bad person
But they treat me so bad for no good reason!

Hushed To Silence

Hushed to silence the city sleeps
The calming of hatred and angry eyes
In the plains of Heaven angels weep
For lives of untold lies
In which the city cries.
Tis the soul that warms the night
Where love does not despair
On wings of serenity held in flight
To the castle in the air
For enchanted evening prayer.
Blessed are they, the souls of Man
The eyes of steady dripping
A feast awaits in timely plan
With heart shaped glasses for sipping
Where loveliness is gripping.
The earth below in turmoiled smoke
A death of kingly sin
The broken table of Shumard Oak
His shattered setting of Chateaubriand Marchand De Vin
The war subsided within.
   To Heaven rise the innocents
Where peace and love reside
With cries of song in laments
Those souls now cast aside
The rule of Jehovah applied.

9/11, 2001 " Page 1 of 2 "

9/11, 2001
Tuesday morning when it all began
Four Jet Airliners
Hi-jacked at will
To fly their mission
To kill, blood spill

Target chosen
New York City
No questions asked
No pity

Internal flight
Laid-en with fuel
Turned off course
To the Hi-jackers rule
Islamist, al-Qaeda is the name they claim
What honest faith
Would want this fame
To take these lives on this September day
It's not what religion should portray

Nineteen jackers, whats on their minds
To do their deed on their own mankind
No scriptures, books of the olden day
Would let any brother, be slain this way
What battle would be, without seeing your killers eyes
This nineteen, the world despise

Our modern world on camera caught
Jet Airliners flying the next so fraught
North Tower hit by flight 11
Then the South by flight 175
All aboard the planes, would not survive
Many compatriots would also die.
To this day i wonder why?

CNN and TV crew's
Capture, man's cruelty to man
It makes you spew
The cowards that commandeered these planes
Are not religious, plainly insane

To be on the ground and look above
Two Manhattan giants
New Yorkers grew to love
Taken down by evil beings
They can't believe what they are seeing

Two explosions in just under an hour
Office life is about to shower
Paper and life fall to the ground
Silenced grief makes no sound
To New York City, that never sleeps
In a state of mourning that will presently weep

We hear on the news, Washington's been hit
The Pentagon, yea that's it
One of the four, also has it's say
On this dark September day

In Pennsylvania
The fourth still in flight
Passengers on board
Try with all their might
Overcome the scum
Who hi-jacked their plane
The next hour would never be the same

Somerset County is where she fell
These brave civilians,
As calls will tell
To try and claim the plane that's theirs
So suppress those infidel curs>

Love of Love

Love of Love
By: Nicholas Davidge

One two three four
The state comes knocking at your door
Five six seven eight
Love is what we appreciate

From Tiananmen Square massacre
To California state
This must not become a scar
We need to kill the hate

For love is a lesson
A lesson to learn
Show it every second
Now it’s your turn

“Down with Prop8!!!”
People will come to say
“Stop it with the hate”
“Who care if some are GAY”

It really was the Tank Man
A man in the Square
Who showed the tank the hand
Said “get out of here!!!”

So let us show some love
Let us show compassion
We can be the dove
And show consideration

TO FORGIVE

                         TO FORGIVE

To forgive is to give another chance which is
something friends generally ask for in one way
or another in hopes it is not too much of a bother
regardless of what father and mother devour- it is
         always necessary

But does it really enhance self esteem and
confidence? despite what color the fence behind
which one should never feel too tense or course
there will often be a need for recompense and it
is still a good thing to do even at school?

Whoever wears the pants in a good relationship
should be smart enough to know if both individuals
are happy and if so be in control of all actions
or decisions- but always forgive wrong doing
instead of automatically condemning which tends to
be what People are always doing- whoever wears the
skirt should be at least smart enough to never
        commit an act of betrayal

Birth Control

It's against the law to kill someone,
who hurts you in some way.
But murder is always justified,
by mothers everyday.

When you think about abortion,
do you see the child inside?
The babies life you want to stop,
has no where else to hide.

You tell yourself many things,
like it doesn't have a soul.
Think of the future your about to destroy,
by using birth control.

There are many ways to save it's life,
for the mothers who do not care.
And adoption is the answer,
for a couple in despair.

Foreordination

Your Word Oh God is our bread
by your prophecy are we led
your Truth Oh Lord shall be our wine
for by these two do our lives define

Though your sins be as scarlet you be made white as snow
when you accept Jesus and his Father come to know
no earthly treasure that exists on earth below
can compare to the riches to his Sons do show

You do with Holy Spirit lead
your servants to those who True Love need
to give understanding to hearts who hear
and knowledge that your King draws near

Your servants on earth do know your will
the veracity of Truth you in them instill
the prophetic Word by life do fulfill
exposed the lie that by death does kill

We are but clay molded by your power
the life we live tis but an hour
you must guide and teach your ways
to live by your Word is endless days

From ages to ages you are our God
with the Truth of Kingdom our feet are shod
like forefathers and prophets your name do laud
We have accepted your will and given our nod

Through the pen of Truth do prophets speak
whose origins humble and nature meek
you chose the weak of the world to confound the wise
to spread the Truth and uncover the lies

You nurture those who seek your face
who know this system you will replace
the gifts of God been given a taste
who know their lives they must not waste

Jesus the firstborn of a new creation
with him the Sons of God rule the nations
the wise virgins have trimmed their lamp
with his seal of approval received his stamp

In the latter rain do Sons and Daughters prophesy
uncover the Truth and reveal the Lie

The Interlude

I am drenched
In a solemn, endless rain of tears
Over the drifting of my sole spring—
Its grace and ethereal splendour

Extricate me,
Now lost in the tangled darkness of cosmic riddle
Fire me,
To the crest of your sublime ripple

In a murderous mob
Hunting down intolerant voices
Let me flourish

Efface that vestigial wilderness
Of towering forest between
So I can hear …

Lavish on me the wealth of your melodic inventions
Closing that desert of distance
That long seems across trillion miles

I, the latest flame in your rising fire
Pull me near your rapid river
Where groves laden with mangoes quiver

Of Canada, Canadians We Are

On the top of the berm
One Canadian soldier stood
His head bowed
Heavily understood

We sign up to do
What the duty ensues
To our flag we obey
Our enemies, we pursue

This tor of abroad
In a distant land
Four lives so free
Leaving families bland

As we awake tomorrow
Knowing of yesterdays gone
We do for the right
For on this world we belong

We are a nation of many
Some days we will scar
Of Canada
Canadians we are

My tribute to the many Canadian soldiers who have fought for not only their
Countries freedom, but to preserve world peace, i bow to the living and fallen.

Possibilities

close your eyes for just a moment and explore the possibilities, the possibilities of us.

how we could reach a level beyond lust. that we can rope ourselves to mules and be carried
across deserts.

how we could number the stars and find a reason why we love eachother to match each one.

how we could formulate a plan to feed all the hungry.

how we could bring the world to an ease.

how we could be the media.

how we could deliver every triumph, or the news of every distress.

how I could be the judge, how you could be the jury.

how we could commit a crime, do the time, and still be divine.

how we could create an eclipse. moving positives in front of negatives.

how we could make them glow on earth's surface.

how we could stand united, no matter the purpose.

how we could both be kings or both be queens, or the the Presidents that set all precedents..

Just for a moment... Explore the possibilities. the possibilities of us.

how we could sing "going up yonder" on our way to the top, and "lift every voice" when our
legs threaten to go down.

how we could pick any color to paint the town.

how we could smile and never frown.

how we could conquer global warming.

how we could bring terrorist to justice.

how we could bring Libya and Egypt to peace.

how we could assist in rebuilding our dying economy.

Just for a moment.. explore the possibilities.. the possiblities of us.

how we could empower others to have higher self-esteem.

how we could introduce religion to science, then introduce them to politics collectively.

how we could get everyone on one page.

how we could follow eachother in wave length.

in emotion.

in age.

how we could make our history change history.

how we could unlock every mystery.

how we could make all things possible through God and through love.

how we could mislead the misled so they will no longer miss their chance to lead.

how we could make others believe.

how we could give others a reason to, close their eyes for just a moment,

and explore the possibilities....

the possibilities of we....

For Dr Martin Luther King Jr

For Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

You had a dream
of pastures of peace
where children of all hues mingled like rainbows

they silenced you, but your voice
resounds now in those pastures
not yet of peace

and your dream is still a dream
the dream you dreamt while others slept

you said that you’d been to the mountain-top
and they silenced your voice just then
before your eyes saw that promised land
of pastures of peace where children of all hues mingle like rainbows

now your vision is glimpsed in some pastures
not yet of peace
and yes, they silenced your voice
but your spirit their bullets could never tear apart
your spirit, like your dream
is mingled with the wind in all those pastures
not yet of peace
and until we give life to your dream
those pasture of peace
where children of all hues mingle like rainbows
shall remain simply your dream
so as we remember you today
and pledge that those pastures of peace
are nourished first in each of us
for only then will your dream will take root
and blossom into our shared dream
and the view from the mountain-top,
radiant and bright and full of hope shall seem

where children of all hues mingle like rainbows

sky is blue

balmy May evening

of absolute perfection.

why can’t this be eternity?

why can’t this be for all?

why can’t this be destiny?

birds chirping

tell us peace

telling us peace peace peace

telling us truth truth truth

telling us love love love

love love love, child

love love love

take us back

to oneness

original oneness

take us back to that love

primitive love commune

and let us be complete

completing love cycle

going back from whence we came.

Have and the have nots

grabbing at straws the luck of the draw
some live big some live raw
a few like gods on hills of gold
every things fine just do what were told

A man on the corner needs something to eat
money walks by thinks dirty deadbeat
separated so the poor don't offend
at least when your down no need to pretend

late at night at the castle on the hill
a drunken success pops another pill
doesn't talk to his kids doesn't have real friends
his wife loves spending and the hottest new trends

a mother and her children prepare for the meal
what little there is seems so surreal
Everyday she struggles to provide
all she has is love and great strength inside

the driver takes him to the company he owns
he makes money by working others to there bones
always watching for a worker whose down
to remind them hes got the best jobs in town

eight sharp she takes the bus into work
she works for sol ittle just to please some rich jerk
the boss points out maybe its time for some new clothes
hes pays so little cares nothing for what she owes

the girls need braces but theres no way to pay
she smiles real big and says well get em someday
but shes knows she probably wont ever afford
she can barely make rent on her own accord

when he enters his mansion he feels quite alone
a beautiful house but know sign of a home
he decides it be better if workers lost there medical coverage
the company will save and even the overage

two people so very different one thinks hes what most people want to aspire to
the other wonders how long she can hold two sick days she'd be out on the street
the first one is selfish drinks every night avoids his family and lies a lot to
the second is down but will never give up and her children love her she is so sweet

these two people we see everyday I'm willing to bet you may look away
she just doesn't know how to save irresponsible i hear people say
when you see the man in his top notch suit and perfect smile
i hear people say what an outstanding man i like to talk for a while

When i see the man in his thespian role i feel a ting of pity in the heart in the soul
all the money doesn't help him see the person he his the one he could be
when i see the women struggle all day i wonder why we aren't all this way
her strength and courage virtues indeed a path of love is always richer then one of greed

The Vagabond Within

The Vagabond Within.

I slip through cracks,
my memories dimming,
as thoughts of yesterday swirl,
down dreary tunnels of decay,
into the chasm that is today.

Waiting, forever waiting,
to belong, yearning to fit in,
taking solace in transient cities,
wearing masked faces,
tailored for fleeting places.

 I stagger each night, lost,
wasting precious breaths,
drawn from a lifetime of sighs,
no consolation from the cruel,
while donning the skin of the fool.

Wrestling unseen demons,
dreading tomorrow as it nears,
ripping away my shallow smile,
withering into a hollow shell,
seeking comfort in everyday hell.

I stumble, I falter,
words slipping off pen onto paper,
fickle doleful murmurs of distaste,
at the gradual emptying of a soul,
needing to shed it all to be whole.

Stray dogs savage each other inside,
a body lathered in deep muck,
soiling my pants, wetting my being,
whistling promises that turn into lies,
the plaintive songs of a clown that cries.

I am momentary,
a soap bubble on the breeze,
just smoke clearing into thin air,
wasting away in my cocooned lair,
too old to change, too young to care.

Are We Being Driven to God's Elimination

Are We Being Driven to God’s Elimination? In the names of diversity and anti-discrimination. It’s like we’re being driven to God’s elimination! God is being “forced” from many institutions! All in the name of this country’s constitution! We’re told that God and this country must be “separated.” Anything less is what many would call; “discriminated.” Any forms of Godly virtues or values are “torn down.” Any symbol of a cross is often “removed from the town.” It’s no wonder that this country’s in such a big mess! Only God has the power to free your soul from sin! The words; “in God we trust,” in our lives must be applied! Everything we’ll ever need… God has supplied! God is this country’s hope! It’s only true foundation! We need HIM right now! To come and heal our nation! By Jim Pemberton

Mesquito

I know God loves us
and so does Jesus the Mesiah
I like to think
that they'd like to stand beside us
but, we turn our backs on them day and night
I wonder how he bares the sight
when he looks down upon you and me
look around at what he sees
we trash the earth and stomp his laws
then many blame him when things go wrong
and what happened to his nation and it's culture?
it scarcely exists outside of his words, prose, and songs
even though it is readily available
in almost everybody's home
no faith and his culture will disapear
so long my love so long
for what purpose will we exist
at war with creations thrown

No Color or Relgion, Ever Stopped a Bullet from a Gun

I heard on the news
Another two are lost
That makes 206
Is there, a whatever the cost

We are there to assist
A country so reft
Inner fighting
To help the rest of the left

Guerrilla warfare
Tactically strong
Thousands of miles
Where we don't belong

The people we vote in
Would they go in their place
To show their people
Dying is no disgrace

I will never allow
My children to fight
A war so improper
A conflict not right

To show our presence
As we parade their land
A remote explosion
Blown up on demand

How can we serve
A regime so unfair
They can starve their women
Because he can't have her there

To fight for their freedom
As they fight themselves
The decision should be made
To save ourselves

The Russians failed
So now we try
Coalition troops
In daily die

The modern wars
Will always be run
No color or religion
Ever stopped a bullet from a gun

Locked And Blocked(In A War Torn Part Of Africa)

A forceful pungent smell
Hits me from this piece of land
Smeared with the precious blood
Of countless innocent people

Many vultures here hover
Over carcasses
Of several dead

I hear syllables
Of the long familiar refrain
Tightly knit together
Sounding clearer and clearer
At each virtual instance:

Don't leave me in the dark
Don't leave me in complete darkness
Sweet sister

For long have I waited
The light of day
Passionately have I endured
The troubles of the gloomy hours

The sky is unusually starry
And overcast
Morning seems a thousand
Years distant.

Proclivity gave birth
To rapid procreation
Insincerity paved the chance
For lust and greed

Alas, this country is in prison
And constant fears
In morbid grief
And mortal tears.

Now Love, I Shall See You There

Now love, I shall see
you there…
You are you and I
not I.
Noble in deeds,
unparalleled in beau,
In status high whilst
very humble,
Loving—truly, and
loyal.
And I a Kashmiri
over again,
Born but after
independence–
No road with barb
wire’s barred,
No bungalows for
journeyers are
occupied;
And ah! Before the
invention of noisy
machines
And smoky cars.
And my cottage is
there,
Shepherds take their
flocks to graze.
I am not a
motherless any
more, sisterless guy,
Looking for a job in
his mid-thirties,
Incapable to tie the
long-longed knot.
I am enjoying a
carefree happy
road walk
With enough money
to demand boiled
indigenous eggs
With teas--
prepared
of buffalos’ milk;
And give the
sheltering poor
countrymen
Benevolently in the
morning.
Ah! As that American
vagabond wandered
alone,
And invited all, to his
journey unknown.

Rwanda Wrongs

In 1957, there existed a plan
To rid Rwanda of the Tutsi clan
Power they had, too much for one side
The foundation for, future Genocide

1960, the monarchy was gone
Will both sides sing the same song
Sadly not as the persecutions start
Ripping this African country apart

1973, under a new regime
Juvénal Habyarimana promised restrain
Progress and reconciliation proposed to be
For this country to unite, finally

1994, Habyarimana gunned down
His assassination, country drowns
This killing of him, the carnage starts
Population half, ripped apart

The killings horrific, no one spared
Machete slain, heads caved
Hacking, be-headings as families fall
As CNN tune in, the world appalled

The continuance, of the slaughtered tribes
Men, women and children you can't describe
Women raped, and the unborn slain
This horrific act of human pain

Most of the fallen, in their own villages dead
By another clan, they thought were friends
Indescribable to the world as our televisions show
The massacre of innocents, as we watch blow by blow

Where does it all end, can we try the same songs
How many more of these Rwanda wrongs
It appears to be a human trait
To kill each other for the sake of it

America Without God

America is being destroyed
from perversion within.
As it’s people indulge
in wickeness and sin.

The moral fabric that our country
once held so dear.
Is now beginning to dissappear.

Many judges seek to remove
God from our land.
Traditional marriage...
 they don't understand.

From the neighbor’s house
to the college dorms,
Perversion is legal in so many forms.

Our money reads: “in God we trust.”
Many are addicted to
perversion and lust.

Nothing of God seems to
be sacred anymore.
While his judgement draws
close to our nation’s door.

This so called “freedom” that
many have “enjoyed,”
Is causing our great country
to be destroyed.

America must heed the Savior’s call,
Only God can give true freedom to all.

HIS word is our country’s
true foundation.
Without him in our lives...
we’re doomed as a nation!

beauty in the face

tossed upon the seas of love
the hateful soul unrepentant
sloganed roses read OsLove
to show humanity's decedents

what the stronger will stand for
bury the hate after the tears
no heating up of this cold war
speak to each in higher prayers

hate may have a home in Hades
but the people here won't bite
held high cool love to cascade
renounce hostility abolish fright

each individually, and as a race
stands at a fork in their road
turn toward love or a darker place
either way picked emotions flowed

these now stand voicing tolerance
flowers of acceptance held high
instead of falling into malevolence
individuals as a nation do reply

A Deceitful Loving World

Listening to your heart, and believing the love you trust
Is quite the risk to take, but in a relationship it’s a must.
Once you take advice, from your friends which are close
It is mainly up to you, what you make of this deadly dose.

Love that can not be trusted, is just a lie made to you
A relationship is more than love, it is about trust too.
Trusting one another, may take some length of time
But in the end it is worth it, love is greater than a dime.

Today’s world I look at closely, examining my surrounding
Now realizing that everyone, changed to dreadful pounding.
The pounding of this world, makes lives miserable each day
A terrible decision indeed, the government giving their okay.

This world that has become corrupt, full of deadly lies
Changing lives left and right, even sudden drive byes.
This world at war with itself, because of no trust at all
Not knowing what’ll happen, or who will throw the ball.

This ball that has been thrown, is of the world that can’t be
Not trusted or relied on, to see the difference of its trinity.
A world full of Deceit, even though it’s a wonderful loving one
You have to choose your trust carefully, before you are done.

Every one has made it clear, to each other who we embrace
One by one as we come to see, the possible end of our race.
A deceitful yet loving world, will be the end of all humanity
This is why we need to trust each other, before we get panicky.

PhiloBlues in G seventh

Still wet behind the ears

still playing the fool

For God sakes you better wake yourself up

and for a change do something cool

You can do it for money

You can do it for love

for your brothers and your sisters

and the good Lord above

I'm learnin the hard way

don't ask me why

If you don't do a little livin while you're livin

You might as well lay right down and die

lay right down and die

sometimes it seems so silly

I don't know where to begin

what difference does it make

what kind a dirt you're lyin in

You make your money, you play your games

but when you deal your last card

don't it all turn out the same

 I'm learnin the hard way

Don't ask me why

If you don't do a little livin while you're livin

You might as well lay right down and die

lay right down and die

Pakistan

A great nation,
Came together in a cause of separation,
Brought together a whole new way of life,
Through many struggles and fights.
Uniting the ones who believe,
It was their aim to succeed.
Making a mark in history,
To make all the others see.

Even today,
It still remains the beauty,
And the Pakistani pride,
To see my fellow friends,
Hand in hand,
Side by side.

The country was built,
So women were given rights,
People could practice and preach what they liked.
Punjab, Sind, Sarhad and Balochistan,
Are the four beautiful provinces of my Pakistan.
Lahore is famous for its beauty, food and delights,
Whilst Karachi is known to be the city of lights.
Along with its culture, fashion and tradition,
Pakistan is known to be a proud nation.
We love our nation as a whole,
It doesn’t make a difference what cast we are ,
We are united as One to go far.

The green and white,
Shows who we are,
We have the rights,
Freedom,
Power and might.

No matter what others think of my country,
I still love it for the name it has given me,
I am proud,
To be part of this crowd,
And will always remain,
Until the last day.

Declaring God lives and we trust in His name!

Someone Asked Me About Marriage

Someone Asked Me About Marriage…

Someone asked me about marriage, as a matter of fact…
I thought; “what kind of questions is that?”

“Let me ask a questions… If I may?”
“Do you read what the God’s word has to say?”

Marriage is still and will always be one woman and man.
I don’t care how many laws we have in our land!

No matter if many churches and people claim; “civil rights.”
Anything different than a man and woman is NOT right!”

The first chapter of Romans makes it pretty clear…
The days of wickedness have drawn ever near!

God’s wrath revealed against all ungodly living!
Think about the garbage our country is giving!

It speaks of men and women leaving their natural affection.
Burning in lust toward one another
 with an ungodly attention!

For this cause God has given many over to a reprobate mind…
Many get involved with perversions of many kinds!

Professing themselves to be wise, many have become “fools.”
By not obeying God’s word… But their own “set of rules.”

Marriage is something designed many years ago.
It was Adam and Eve in the beginning… This we know!

My question to you is: “Why not give God a chance?”
His truth remains the same! Whatever the circumstance!

No court of law can change what God has established!
Everything that’s not of God is simply a lot of “rubbish.”

Jesus is coming back for a bride without “a wrinkle or a spot.”
It’s time we come clean and become
 “blood bought!”

Being the bride of Christ is the most important thing!
He is the bridegroom and eternal love he brings!

They Do Not See Me at All

They Do Not See Me at All

they do not see me at all...

as I walk through these desecrated avenues

of soul-deadening frenzy

I see them all rushing past me

and no matter how hard I try to holler and to call

they do not see me at all

it seems at times, that invisible am I

for when I reach out, and shriek out, and when on my knees I crawl

they rush past me

for they do not see me at all

I have tried to raise their ire, I have taunted and goaded them, till exhausted and fatigued, to the cold damp ground I fall

still they rush past me

for they do not see me at all

I stand mutely then and wave my hands all around while scribbling verses in my unintelligible scrawl

and yet they rush past me

for they do not see me at all

they rush past me, knocking me over without ever looking back

and then trampling over my fallen form, they look past my limp crumpled shadow, as they whine on in their monotonous drawl

for they do not see me at all

and when at last I see them look my way, and as a flicker of recognition crosses their faces

I wish to crawl back into my nothingness

where they cannot see me at all

Masks

Masks.

Fingers,
clawing at my face,
slipping beneath the facade,

tugging, tearing, flailing,

stripping off the veneer,
exposing the fragmented decay,
cloaked,
under this mask I wear today.

Hands,
groping for another layer,
embroidered on my thin skin,

peeling, rotting, searing,

shaving away the truths,
entwined in a jagged kiss,
revealing,
the vacuum of an emotional abyss.

Fleeing,
from myself yet again,
bound for nothingness,

desolate, cold, empty,

lost on barren pathways,
bruising my heart as I tread,
shuddering,
at the horrors that lie ahead.

Cynical Baby Downtown

"Soothing voices are announcing,
    cynical baby downtown,
another suppression of hope,
a day of compulsory dancing,
    cynical baby downtown,
and subliminal sex, guns and dope.

The mistress of rude assumptions,
    cynical baby downtown,
is trying to give us a clue,
displaying the bodily functions,
    cynical baby downtown,
of what I might mean to you.

Old men are showing photographs,
    cynical baby downtown,
of some of the targets we hit;
I guess the animal that laughs,
    cynical baby downtown,
has had a testosterone fit.

And the party went ballistic,
    cynical baby downtown,
but no one was to blame;
it was your explosive lipstick,
    cynical baby downtown,
that had just spoken my name."

This Earth Is Cracking

In USA,
There is a presidential election fight,
Well, everything seems to be alright,
It might be alright, everything seems tight,
Sometimes, I dream of a red sky,
The earth is cracking,
I'm slowly dancing
On your sweet love floor.

Turkey
Sends bombs for free into Syria, on the other side,
Well, it seems that nothing is more important than having pride,
When Syrians in Turkey need to hide,
I've never dreamed of a sky so red,
The earth is cracking,
I'm slowly dancing
On your sweet love floor.

The Greeks
Don't want to sell to Canadian consumers their gold,
Well, it seems that in Canada it is very cold,
Why is it so cold in Canada all the time and the gold isn't sold?
I really dreamed of a huge red sun,
The earth is cracking,
I'm slowly dancing
On your sweet love floor.

The world
Is waiting for a new shift of magnetic poles,
But, instead of this, earth makes gigantic craters called sinkholes,
Smart money makers lose the remote controls,
I really had a multicolored dream,
The earth is cracking,
I'm slowly dancing
On your sweet love floor.

Much more protesters
Want to change their lives and their presidents.
To feed their kids, they work 12 hours per day for a few cents,
It's something to think about, when life has no sense.
I dreamed of a world having a little pink,
The earth is cracking,
I'm slowly dancing
On your sweet love floor.

he's lying right beside me
his breath is on my skin
his feet are tangled up with mine
he is where i begin

he's laced his fingers through my hair
his hands filled up with gold
he's brushed his lips across my cheek
his hand in mine i hold

he's inches from me sleeping
i'm awake in dark of night
a war is raging in my head
i've already lost the fight

he's lying right beside me
his body close as skin
his arms encircled round my waist
his touch warms me within

he's wound himself around me now
he's sighs and holds me near
he melds with me our bodies one
he's the only thing thats clear

i hold the moment to my chest
to slow time a little more
but in my head it is september
and he's taken my heart to war

Woman

Curtal Sonnet Sequence

A woman should be gentle, always kind
Yet he held her down to rape her again
Removing the smile that once seemed to glow
The joy of love had long since left behind
A fragile doll that knew only of pain
Who couldn’t see a way or place to go
At his hands her body crumbled to dust;
Inside her voice was calling, soft and low
It kept her mind from going past insane
And she knew she could and she knew she must
Say No!

They say the battle is won; we can rest
The girls of tomorrow have greater clout
They’ll live their lives in freedom’s liberty.
We can do no more, we have done our best
The flags of pride have been slowly rolled out
So they can love with true equality.
But while one woman remains hurt, abused
We must all remain strong not turnabout
No woman should be left to man’s slav’ry
We must not let her be tortured and used
Shout out!
Inside a woman beats a goddess heart
A hidden voice that often calls aloud
But we only hear her when we need her most
And she holds us when our lives fall apart
Or if we choose to walk against the crowd
The presence we feel when all else is lost.
And as we nurture our own children through
To fly as freely as a summer cloud
She nurtures us the same at greater cost
So in all we say and all things we do
Be proud!

Pass It On

a piece of bread
is what god had said

take it for it is I through the body of Christ
now to me that is quite a sight

as it lays amidst
my hands tonight

for I often think of my brothers and sister in africa
and often think of them not being tucked in their beds

I often think of their innocent children
who are lying dead

and I often keep thinking
of what God had said

so tonight I come to
share my wine and bread instead

with those others who may
have not been watered or fead

as my tears start to now shed
and start flowing beads of red

for it's the blood of christ
lost during his plight

so as I stare at this cup also tonight
I sip and pass it with being so polite

to my brothers and sisters in christ
for it leaves me feeling sheer delight

Untitled #236 / Buddy Cianci

Buddy Cianci! He’s
the people’s mayor!
“That shark! Haha!
Reminds me of my opponents over the years!”
He dances with the old folks!
He kisses the pig!
He poses with the married couple!
He lets no crack appear in his façade
even on the day his lover of nine years
is married in Barbados!
He is impregnable!

Epoch a Lipstick...

Here’s the arm of my giddy on…
It’s a pity that’s it’s not what you’re expecting
Inspections detected a mention
Called weapons of mass destruction
What freaking moron would build such things
Pretending to tend to the important Beings
Lending to send such meaningless meanings
Keeping the freeKin’ fearing sound,
on the ground?

Displeased, the lipstick came out…

Mislead was the message I shout!
Inspections detected a mention
That a moron’s moronic notion
Is to control and rule the ocean…

The vision was clear….
Pissed off and quick you hear…
A big Mother took her kid by the ear.
Nothing in the world did the poor chap fear
Except the color of lipstick, the Mother would wear.

Next thing you know
There was lightening in the snow
Zipper sounds from the clouds I say
Lines in the sky and they made me sway
The color of blue was to change this day.

Oracle triggers triggered safety valves
On maple leaves and written in halves
Visions clear in the windless rain
Nothing gets to work, if the works in vain.
Drastic peace and solutions in the wind.

Getty up Scout…
Nothings perfect.

Ice Burge

Ice Burge And The Warning

What is life
memories fade away
like youth and the things of the day
talent, skills, and lessons learned
the heat of a flame that burns
poetic passions
and thoughts discerned
time and days to live and learn
who and what to serve
the Jews serve God by remembering his days
yet I fear very few
are familiar with his ways
and don't you think it's kind of funny
look at how much they love their money
those who expect extras for free
when your already working for them
cheap cheap cheap
will never leave you a tip
but they'll push or guilt you for a discount
even if your already pissed
those who learn to serve Mammon
sail upon deep and dangerous waters
in their mighty yet sinking ships

It is a warning
for I fear that another Hitler will rise
or worse
the anti-Christ
the son of God was a Jew
and don't you ever wonder
who and what are you
can you see the world through eyes like these
the Sabbath a sign between God and his own
yet the world rests with the beast
and he just might sink his teeth into you
on his next holy day feast

it is a warning
a warning to the children of God
and to the world
and to all of those who become filled with greed
you cannot love God and Mammon
God's true children are humble and meek
you cannot be his child
with out a heart full of love and charity

possession oppression possession oppression
war a demonic feast
and the world will surely destroy herself
I just pray she does not destroy you or me
I offend all for all offend God
who lives without sin
every woman and every man
needs to earnestly repent
and can you see what time it is
the monster sits upon his high mountain
and the world worships him
growing in power and saying, "I am Christian"
all the while teaching the world to sin
and who on this earth is your faithful friend
may the word of the Lord haunt you
until the bitter end

Hardly a Poem

Hardly a Poem

Splinters embedded under my skin,
each memory a shard of stinging glass,

I see that I see it all now,
the infinite regrets meandering,
down foggy alleys of yesteryear,
as decades and moments come to pass.

Wearing my many masks as I cascade,
leafing through my conscious betrayals,
of gentle hearts once treasured,
now left to decay, in the empty cold.

Seeing my treasures turned to stone,
while wearing the blues like a convenient coat,
untrue to most, I stand accused,
in the dock, the fragments of my past,
are all that I am able to hold.

Where do I go from here,
as I stand ashamed, rooted to this spot,
my sins are countless, my excuses fickle,
the lies have been many,
and all the untruths have already been told.

Was it not just a fortnight ago,
when I was younger than I am now,
you loved me completely, you told me so,
while I slithered inside my thick skin,
shutting you out,
and embraced comforting desolation into my fold.

Now the momentary tears have all been shed,
the wounds of time too, have silently bled,
and all beseeching prayers have been said.

I stagger on, my reflection a mirage,
my heart and soul battered black and blue,

still, grasping onto the tendrils of hope,
if not, then I am truly dead.

Our Nation NEEDS God

I believe we’re living in…
What many call “an x-rated society…”
The “pleasures of life” come in quite a variety!

Just about anything someone wants,
comes with “a push of the button.”
But when it comes to anything of God…
  “He ain’t nothin.’!”

Where we will be tomorrow…
 No one seems to know.
As many seek “fulfillment” for their ”empty” soul…

What’s right or wrong… Has been
“turned upside-down.”
While the tide of wickedness
 reaches every city and town…

While so many minds seem to be filled with
this world’s pollution…
People are looking for answers… And a solution!

Our hope and faith certainly doesn’t
 lay in our possessions.
Nor in our dark secrets, and “secret obsessions…”

To those of you who perhaps, are waiting
 for a “government bailout…”
Let me tell you what the true meaning
 of living is all about…

Jesus is our security! 100% guaranteed life
 and health insurance!
It’s only in him, we can have a “blessed assurance!”

Only he has the power to rescue us
from the horrible mess we’re in!
And it’s only in him… Where true freedom begins!

He gives a true definition to what we call
“The American dream…”
He alone is our foundation. The truth.
Our everything!

May the words; “In God we trust”
apply in everything we do!
Let these words be woven into
the great “red white and blue…”

As the good news of Jesus Christ
 is shouted loud and clear…
The “darkness” across our land will
soon disappear!

Skin Your In

Is your Mother Black?
Is your Aunt Black?
What about your Sister or your Grandmother?
What is the color of their skin?
Is it not the same color your in?
So tell me who misinformed you that love is present in a woman opposite of black?
Who told you that?
Does your Mother's broad lips offend you or her head full of naps?
Does your sisters thick body frame repulse you, or her very dark skin?
Brother are you not comfortable in the skin your wearing?
Does your Grandmothers wide nose seem unattractive to you, do you think your grandfather
is a blind old fool?
No Brother, the only fool here is you
I guess it's her pale lifeless skin you are so intrigued by, do you not see her unfriendly
family member's eyes?
Her mother doesn't seem to find your color as beautiful as you find hers
Or are you appealed by her European features?
Her strait nose and thin lips
Are those the lips you love to kiss?
You love her but can't stand your very own Black kin?
What is your problem Brother??
Do you hate the skin your in?

Waiting for the Wind

Sitting in the morning just waking up on my side of the world today
I turn on the news see if anyone has anything good to say
Stock markets falling and another landslide while the politicians try to deny
Global warming and more killer storms and another thousand people die
and the advertiser says I’d be happy if I bought bigger car you know
I’ve got my sails out...and I’m waiting for the winds to blow
I got my sails out...and I’m waiting for the winds to blow.

Sometimes I think the world’s gone mad and I can’t stand to hear the pain
One place burning in holy fire and another in a deluge of rain
Sometimes I think that hatred and war is the only way we know how to be
And I want to sail away,..in a world made for you and me
Sometimes I wonder at the pace of it all, where’s everybody trying to go
I got my sails out...and I’m waiting for the winds to blow.
I got my sails out...and I’m waiting for the winds to blow.

Why can’t we see the beauty of it all in the sun rising every day
Life holding on to the sides of mountains and the waters rushing into the bay
Why can’t we live as if nothing on earth mattered more that the love that we bring
I want to sail away,.. and become part of everything
Why can’t we care just a little bit more, maybe let a little kindness show
I got my sails out...and I’m waiting for the winds to blow.
I got my sails out...and I’m waiting for the winds to blow.

A Resolution

Strange
That so many strangers are here
This is a sweet noise with forked tongue
Change
Is not a critical mass of diverse dreams
And I do not know you
Your warm fuzzy smile dripping milk cream
Over the chocolate of my face
Before we came
I had significance in the knowledge of my identity
I had certainty
In what things are wrong and what things were right
And you were not the circle with me
I am used to walking in crowds with protected pockets
I love everyone but no longer trust strangers
And we need to be reintroduced
So you may know I am not just your victim
I am the victim of all your friends
Flocking to the frenzy of the world peace
I am the subsidy of your prosperity
Whether it be climatic change
Or world peace
And I am not use to strangers speaking for my good
There is no other-centered love among nations
Your survival exterminates me if allowed
If I am silent
If I am still while you lead your empire to the crown
I am here and shall not stand down
Until the agenda I wrote with my brothers blood
Is on the table before your eyes growing wide

life

woke up in eighty six to bright lights and screams

i thought waking up then would maybe fix my dreams

'cause i was dreaming 'til birth

and have been dreaming since birth

opening my eyes just to see what it's worth

i shut my eyes again because the world's gone blind

no one considering what's been left behind

"the past has passed, and the future is it"

what you did, you forgot, but "the future's legit"

what you did, who'd a thought, brought some people to pain

not knowing, you keep going to the future in vain

think of people you effect by your insane gain

if before every decision, we got everyone to think

who will be cut

and in the blink of a wink it would sink to our gut

"do i want to be hurt in the choice of a man?"

please bring peace, and revise your plan

we hold the strength of the world in the palm of our hand

Blood on Emeralds

The blood of Emeralds
In Northern Ireland's streets
Where sides detest
Victims they seek

Religious divide
Neighbours slain
For the life of me
What to gain

These troubled times
Historic sores
Deep rooted pasts
Now to the fore

IRA
UDA
Many guns came out to play
Both sides fell, as they murderously slay
During the week, even Sundays

The Belfast agreement of 1998
This Land of Emeralds, in peaceful state
Neighbours safe to talk again
Never allow the blood, on the Emeralds stain

" Dedicated to all Ireland - The Emerald Isle "

Be my friend

To all you poets out there
I write this as a simple suggestion
So you can turn me down
If you find what I'm asking
to be out of your reach

But If we as poets can teach
                   through our words
                   the pain and suffering
                   of thousands in just
                   one stanza

                   Than why can't we
                    be friends?

                    If we as poets
                   can mend broken wounds
with just a pen and a paper
                 and our thoughts

                   Why can't we mend
                  hatred, animosity,
                   and poverty

                   I accept every poet
                   Regardless of race
                       or face
                     For all I see when
                    I look at thee
                  is another fellow poet
                that means you understand
                 you see through my
                        kind of lens

                Therefore you are my friend
                  and even though our
                  world isn't quite fixed yet
                  with this pen and paper
                  I will at least try
                    to bring unity
                     even if it's just
                     in poetry.

My Nation

My nation is Satan’s shadow
So my life is full of sorrow.

They quench love’s thirst of the good ones by poison
They are extremely cruel and lack vision.

They do all the bad works in God’s name
The curse of the good ones follows them.

They have gone astray there’s no doubt about it
Cause they oppress the good ones to meet their greed.

To Athena Part 1

It has occurred to me now that humanity has come to lack the culture once held
O’ so very dear to our own existence.

As Dante once walked with Virgil, down an epic path of “Divine Comedy”,
moving from hell to purgatory, and then onto heaven itself, I walk here and now
with Homer.

Writing again the tales of gods and men, the divinity; has it been not lost to all? I
say unto this with the utmost of ease, “Nay”.

My life is now that of who I once was, none have known me until all my writings
have been both written and read; you see, within me Homer lives.

As we have both now done, though he much more than I; have sang out to the
muses, to the heavens, to the gods of lore; to have our words heard by more than
just the mortal ear; to be felt by the souls of all.

Within this I defy the church of God; I say again, “Nay unto thine oppressive
virtues, what thou teaches to those of this world is but half the truth; your church
has forgotten the history of our kind”.

Unto all that stand with me; is this quest now taken, that I now again walk “Lady
Fate’s” path, wearing my shoes, Homer’s shoes, the shoes that have for two
millennium not tread upon ground.

These shoes are however very thin, they allow me to feel again; every pebble,
each unevenness that can be found; with each new step there is something new
to be found.

Now it is time for me to begin this long journey; once again I sing, I praise the
gods of old; I now hail Athena and Aphrodite once more; my love forever unto
these sisters.

Let it be known unto all; I have returned, blood again rich, coursing through my
veins, burning with desire, the passion that I am makes me now cry out, “I am
Homerus, reborn from Athena’s will, for humanity again”.

“I am now here; writing my hymns for all to see and love, my works again fill the
libraries of mortal homes; they have, they will; I hail our gods, high in the
heavens; I thank thee again Athena; the love thou has shown within my works”.

There must never again be such a long span between my lives; two thousand
years, I have held my pen in silence; not writing one word; now within my return;
this new fashion of pen brings forth my new words, again for all to hear, even the
gods in the heavens.

Now unto those that try to keep us in their oppressive rule; “Thou art no longer to
suppress us, we are again free”; censorship be damned; my words will never be
silenced by any political factions.

No More War

Let the flags
             come down
    let the nations
"beat their swords into ploughshares"
   The trouble must stop!
Let peace flow like a river
Joy is what we shall know
  And eyes will see tomorrow
    If we act now!

American Me

I am an American,I'm proud to be free.
I am an American,I'm the future 'to-be'.
I love my country, this land where I was born.
I love my country,it's flag,tattered and worn.
I pledge my allegiance every morning at school.
I pledge my allegiance because AMERICA RULES!
I can make a differerence with a 'star-spangled' quote.
I can make a difference by casting MY vote.
I will serve my country, should it ever call on me,
I will serve my country by being the BEST AMERICAN CITIZEN that I can be!

The Thinker

I tend to sit and think each day
Of the world within our reach.
If you would listen to my words
Please allow me, now, to teach.

You see, they call me the thinker.
I’m here for you to learn.
You see, they call me the thinker.
What lessons do you yearn?

I gave thought to some politics
That exists in the world today
So bad, these politicians
Why don’t they just go away?
They say that they really know what’s best
For those of whom they control.
Why can’t they see what’s truly best?
The world’s going down the hole!

You see, they call me the thinker.
I’m here for you to learn.
You see, they call me the thinker.
What lessons do you yearn?

I gave thought to the ecology,
The mindless destruction of the world.
We have to teach the children,
All the boys and all the girls.
They have to learn recycling
And caring for the earth.
They have to give the world a chance
For, to have a new rebirth.

You see, they call me the thinker.
I’m here for you to learn.
You see, they call me the thinker.
What lessons do you yearn?

I gave thought to religion
And how man has let it go.
They must return, now, to their faith
For, in this world to grow.
Man must develop all the trust
That God bestowed on them.
Knock down the walls, stop the wars
Reach out and make some friends.

You see, they call me the thinker.
I’m here for you to learn.
You see, they call me the thinker.
What lessons do you yearn?

PROUD

We scream and we shout yet you choose not to hear
The words from our mouths those that you fear

Your darling child holds a secret inside
One that you cannot ignore or hide

Falling from the pack failed to conform
Different from everyone else I'M outside the norm

But what is the norm but a copy of one
I choose to live life not afraid to be shone

I'm PROUD of who I am
And PROUD of who I'll be
A PROUD member of the gay society

Your words do not hurt me
But your ignorance does
Failing to grasp the world as it is
And not as it was

You can choose to not accept me
That is your choice
Who i m was made by GOD
And not by my choice

Make this life easy

How long will it take for you to see
Life is just an illusion, it’s gonna pass eventually
The flesh is just a lie
Eventually you’re gonna die
But your soul will live on
Rejoice in this don’t mourn
God made you to die
It’s why you were born
Last night GOD spoke to me
Your pain will end soon, so brother don’t worry
This world will soon pass
None of this is gonna last
But the word of GOD will live on
From the dusk till the dawn, on, on and on
He said pity the living, not the dead
I replied back to him
I meant no disrespect and this is what I said
Imma hold my head high and do my part until the end

So make this life easy
This life is just a lie
Soon you’re gonna die
So why you killin him for
He’s just another brother, another lost soul
Just make this life easy
Just make this life easy
Just make this life easy
Just make this life easy

Sister and brothers on streets
Instead of helping them get on their feats
We’re worrying about ourselves
It’s an endless cycle
man’s just looking out for himself
It seems clear to me
That nobody is free
Rich, white, black or poor you’re all the same to me
Trapped in a prison ruled by money
Don’t you think it’s funny
Endless numbers and papers rules us
We’ll never be happy
It’s not a mystery
The world is falling apart
I want it to end already, when will it start
Until then I guess I’m going to do my part
So while you’re here just make this life easy

So make this life easy
This life is just a lie
Soon you’re gonna die
So why you killin him for
He’s just another brother, another lost soul
Just make this life easy
Just make this life easy
Just make this life easy
Just make this life easy
