It’s a mother-in-law’s right, her prerogative
To ‘drop in’ on her son almost any time,
But a mother-in-law should always be prepared
For almost anything she may find.
So, Mother Cready dropped in unannounced;
But as she approached her son’s front door,
Suddenly it opened. “Ta Da! Do you like my happy dress?”
His young wife stood there in her ‘all in all’…nothing more.
“Oh, my word!” Mother Cready exclaimed with surprise.
“Why are you naked? Are you insane?”
Just as surprised, the young wife pulled her inside.
“Please, Mother Cready…if you’ll just let me explain.
You see, when Mac has had a rough day,
When he’s been under a lot of stress,
Sometimes I meet him at the door
With a smile and a kiss in my happy dress.
It always relaxes him and makes him happy,
Then he makes me very happy too.
It works for Mac and me, Mother Cready;
Maybe it would work for you.”
“We’re too old for such.” scoffed Mother Cready.
“Perhaps if we were young like the two of you.”
But, on her way home, she decided
She was definitely going to try it too.
So, she bathed and put on some nice perfume,
Fixed her make-up and her hair.
She was thinking some very sexy thoughts,
But she had to hurry…no time to spare.
She heard her husband’s car in the driveway;
And as he approached their front door,
She threw it open. “Ta Da! Do you like my happy dress?"
She stood there in her ‘all in all’…nothing more.
She saw a little grimace cross his face,
But that was not the worst.
Then he said, “I appreciate your happy dress, my dear;
But maybe you should have ironed it first.”
ALTERNATE LAST VERSE
“Well…your ‘happy dress’ could use some ironing;
But my birthday suit could use some starch.”
He kissed her. “Bet you and I can work it out.”;
And off to bed they marched.

A small poem “Thirsty Feeling about Nature and love” wrote by Mrs. Madhavi. Suyog. Pagare
“Thirsty Feeling about Nature and love”
Seating nearby valley side,
Astonished by seeing a nature's serene beauty.
Amidst Grassy hills,
zigzagically mounted on the stupefying homeland.
Pristine Water, Sliding from the highest peak,
Flowing in its own way,
Wondering about its challenging destiny.
Love the way you are.
I owe you for myself!!
Wind's whispered, Cheering in its ain way.
Chanting of music beats,
Recited with a soothing intonation.
Birds speaking eloquently..
Dazzling due to marvellous rainbow..
Love the way you are,
I owe you for myself!!
Amazing and enamoured environment aroused my emotions,
Feeling Shy to express.
Missing my dream person,my Mr.Adam.
Versatile persona where are you?
Come here and hug me.
Fuel me up with spirit.
Gift me a smile.
Until forever fades away, Endure me.
Love the way you are..
I owe you for myself!!
Finished dropping stones in water.
Gladly waiting for your arrival.
Testing patience is all enough now.
Wanted to feel the gist of love.
Desire to fulfil wish with pure heart and soul.
Auspicious moments provoking to capture
Love the way you are,
I owe you for myself

I can act insane
But DO NOT
Make me feel worthless
I belong in God’s family
He will bless my future generation
Don’t punish me for
Being myself –
Don’t envy my glee
I can act like an
Adult, but I’d
Prefer to have joy…
That piles upon us in our
Being childlike is
A rare beauty –
No one prizes it…
No one came across it…
In this lifetime…
I can laugh all day
I can make you smile
If you’d accept my
Childlike dreams of mine
Don’t treat me like a sick swine
Renew my young heart
Give me the ability
To kill the old man…
I have my place in God’s family
He’ll be adored and glorified
We’ll exchange prayers and hugs
By my future generation
I beg of you –
Don’t kill my childlike mentality
I’ll behave myself…
I’m positively sure that I’ll make you happy
I’ll still have pieces of a child in me
And pass it on to my future generation…

Mindfull of a parallel sequence
we seem to function light between
thought and hurt hoping for
easy advancement up the channel steps--
pecarious invoking with someone who
knows--- and not knows inescapable from
ourselves compliant (fraud) if need not be.
Backwash of hidden intermittent terrors preclude
external sensitivities---like my aching back
heat waves of generalized dizziness and
gender--izing. The sweet bird of youth
never suffers a jet lag stupor as we enjoy
and (softly) murmur the last rungs in a
flaccid present tense loss of self faculty.
But the nevertheless picture of realitivity
lends a jargon journal future sometimes
nameless but (at least) omnidirectional

Love is my nest.
It holds me
where all the world I see.
It saves me
from the ground
which my soul will never meet.
Up in a forest tree
hunters scattering in threes
they'll never catch me
I have love.
I am perfectly happy.
relaxed I am
I do not stress
for there isn't life
without my nest.
who cares what's below?
I am above.
love is my nest
My nest is my love.

I Did Something That You Won’t Let Me Forget!
I did something recently, that I regret.
What it was. You won’t let me forget!
I said; “I’m sorry.” And tried to explain it!
But what I’ve done, you continue to name it.
You called me your friend, and offered assistance...
But any attempts to talk,
you offer resistance.
I heard you before. You quoted Bible verses.
Now you speak complaints and curses!
It seems like whatever I do or what I say.
You just wish, “I would go away!”
Where is God’s love, you once gave me?
Are you the kind of person,
God wants you to be?
I’m sorry of what I said and what I did.
I hope you find the power to forgive!
I’ve done my part. And that’s all I can do.
Now is your turn! The rest is up to YOU!
You can love me, or simply push me aside!
You can humble yourself, or be filled with pride!
The choices and decisions you make...
Please do it now! Before it’s too late!
I pray that God’s love, will touch your soul!
Walk in his forgiveness!
And BE MADE WHOLE!

She gets up every morning - to get her husband off to work.
Once a kind and caring man - now such a hideous JERK!
She makes his breakfast, gets his coffee, and even makes him a lunch.
When he's finally out the door for the day - she grabs herself something to munch.
Taking care of the children, running errands, and the never ending chores.
Whatever happened to all the fun times - she used to have before?
She had dreams once too - oh - so long ago.
An awesome career, a college education - her knowledge on others to bestow!
She used to chat and gossip with many a friend.
Will she ever find the time to do this again?
Hubby's on the way home - dinner now to make.
She'd give pretty much anything - for a swim in the lake!
Sometimes all this stuff - she doesn't really seem to mind.
But here lately she definitely has - many an axe to grind!
If only he'd appreciate her - like he did before.
Maybe she'd quit trying to find ways - to even out the score!

The pain is real enough
Throughout we must be tough
Life deals with us this way
For some is all play, play, play!
For us it's find a way
To achieve a better day
The rolling hills of life
Down and up; two different sides!
Stress and strain purely to survive
Fragile minds - nowhere to hide
Together with hope and strength we find a way
To live our life a better way.

Hi mommy. I'm glad you're clean
Or at least that's what it seems
Daddy called me
You send him and email
It had a picture
In that picture is what killed him
Fear bled through his every limb
Jazzys picture in the back
His soul went black
How could you do this
I thought it was all bliss
You let it control again
I'm in shame
People in and out
They make me want to shout
My scars are from you
It doesn't matter
I'm just her
Mommy i want daddy
And he should have let you take the blame
Cause i knew it was going to be the same
