Afloat On a Lavender Sea

Decades stretched a cord, across years, up the stairs, and around chairs coiling beyond the door of one small room, groomed by the sun, of a Saturday afternoon... I am floating on a sea of a hardwood floor Prone, on my back, upon a lavender rug Examining the nail of my left hand thumb with a phone at my ear, a smile on my face while you've glady expressed, how you have aced an exam I confess how I've missed holding your hand only linked to your kiss, by a small ivory phone With a ring on my finger, to bind our young love Blinded in the eyes, from an innocent throne Invitations in the mail, and a church on hold There was a cake on order, and a heartless, cold world You were glued to my ear, I was wrapped by a cord that tugged on the wall, with long-distance words Light from the yard is scored by the blinds but, there on the floor, prone on my back, I'm bound by the cord that tethered our lives Linked to your voice, where a new love was wound Hovering over the sea of cold hardwood, I had a pillow of shag, and a lavender rug The days stretching short and our vows, yet untold The cord getting stronger, and time to unfold

Pal

Bob had been a lonely man ever since
His wife of fifty years had passed.
“Lord, let me join her.” he would pray.
“Let this day be my last.”

Each day, he went to the cemetery,
Just a short walk down the street.
After their talk, he would water her flowers
And hear passers-by whisper, “How sweet.”

One gray and misty morning,
He had hoped for sunnier skies
To plant fall bloomers at her graveside;
But, there, to his surprise…

Stood an old dog beside her stone;
Thin and dirty, but he struck a handsome pose.
He whined as Bob approached, as if to say,
“I could use a friend, you know.”

He sat calmly as Bob planted flowers,
Carefully sniffing each one Bob put in place.
Then, after the last one was planted,
He sniffed it; then turned and licked Bob’s face.

Bob smiled. “I had a dog when I was young…
Pal…he was a mighty good one too.
So, if you don’t mind old fella,
That’s what I’ll call you.”

Pal may have been an old dog,
But he was smart and handsome in his way;
So they made a deal, Bob would give him a meal
And a bath, if he decided to stay.

Pal loved his bath, then rolled in the grass.
He slept on a blanket in the den.
In the night, he dragged it next to Bob’s bed.
He intended to be Bob’s best friend.

Pal was such a good dog, housebroken too;
Never made a mess or got in trouble.
He knew about newspapers, slippers and Frisbees;
And when Bob called, he ‘d come on the double.

Yes, Pal gave Bob’s life new purpose.
A special bond of friendship was cast.
And never again did Bob pray,
“Lord, let this day be my last.”

For twelve years, the very best of friends,
Together night and day;
And so it was, until one night,
Both quietly passed away.

The next morning, an old woman,
Tears welling in her sad and lonely eyes,
Brought flowers to her husband’s grave;
But there, to her surprise….

Stood an old dog beside the stone,
Thin an dirty, but he struck a handsome pose.
He whined as she approached, as if to say,
“I could use a friend, you know.”

He sat calmly as she took old flowers
And put fresh ones in their place.
He carefully sniffed the fresh ones,
Then turned and licked her face.

She smiled. “I had a dog when I was young...
a good one too. His name was Pal.”

Secretly Obsessed

Obsessed with the thought of you
wondering if it's only me or
if you sometimes remember the sweet things you've said
and if you meant them how I took them
or if I'm just obsessed with what's in your head

Obsessed with your very sentences
Every response I take personal
I know it's selfishness
Have you not noticed my eyes?
They hold secrets that only you can unlock
if you'd just take time to fill the thick juices of my pride
It's just boiling with lust, passion, trust and distrust
and other things I obsess over so much

I find myself writing to free myself from this prison I've created
where only you and I reside
I become confused about what I'm really feeling inside and I
try to rid the thoughts that are highly debated as false and I
begin to cry and
think of casting love spells so that the universe can deliver this affair
I know it's unfair
but I don't care

I'm obsessed with what hasn't happened between us
I'm obsessed with your heart and that the fact that
I don't think you've even noticed my selfish innuendos
and secret undertones that blatantly express my lust
Or maybe you have and you calmly remain in resistance of distrust
If you could only read my mind by simply touching my fingertips,
I'm sure I'd catch you out the corner of my eye biting your bottom lip
I'm obsessed with the passion and thoughts I think you have
Obsessing over an experience that I may never have....

A Lonely Man

He lives on his own
Far away from life
In a sheltered glen
Since he lost his wife

Nothing can replace
The previous years that he had
It was timeless and loving
He now lives alone and sad

Surrounded by emptiness
Just like his heart
His family is now nature
Life at sixty, his new start

In a run down bothy
On the Cairngorms, above Aviemore
The Scottish countryside consoles him
His heart now a lonely sore

Everyday when he awakes
He thinks of his dear wife
Out of the window he looks
Out there is his life

He lives of the land
The best he can
Sometimes he heads into town
A lost looking man

The years have passed by
He still lives on his own
His loss finally accepted
Into his lonliness, he has grown

You Didn't Even Say Goodbye

Why did you just get up and go away?
I thought that you would be here for me every single day
You did not even say goodbye
And if things went wrong, why did you not say "Lets try"?
I sit by my window and I am all alone
I am sitting there waiting and you don't even phone
What shall I do for the rest of my life?
When I thought we'd always be together as husband and wife
So as I sit by my window, I know in my heart
That we'll be together again, because we were never meant to part
Then as I look out of my window
In another world I can see
We will be together as it was always meant to be

Last Kiss

Open your eyes to the ever turning skies
I want to here with me through the night
My heart yearns into your soul
Burning as if newly lit coal
I bravely submerg the embers
That the time I have can be spent with you
And I remember each kiss every moment
I was caught in your love that for just this day I remember
So what happened was a chance for your love
A time that I kept in a locket tied with a kiss
I wanted you to feel, to love, to slumber
And to awake in my arms with that times kept bliss
I lay silient in an umber

Thirsty Feeling about Nature and love

A small poem “Thirsty Feeling about Nature and love” wrote by Mrs. Madhavi. Suyog. Pagare

“Thirsty Feeling about Nature and love”

Seating nearby valley side,
Astonished by seeing a nature's serene beauty.
Amidst Grassy hills,
zigzagically mounted on the stupefying homeland.
Pristine Water, Sliding from the highest peak,
Flowing in its own way,
Wondering about its challenging destiny.
Love the way you are.
I owe you for myself!!

Wind's whispered, Cheering in its ain way.
Chanting of music beats,
Recited with a soothing intonation.
Birds speaking eloquently..
Dazzling due to marvellous rainbow..
Love the way you are,
I owe you for myself!!

Amazing and enamoured environment aroused my emotions,
Feeling Shy to express.
Missing my dream person,my Mr.Adam.
Versatile persona where are you?
Come here and hug me.
Fuel me up with spirit.
Gift me a smile.
Until forever fades away, Endure me.
Love the way you are..
I owe you for myself!!

Finished dropping stones in water.
Gladly waiting for your arrival.
Testing patience is all enough now.
Wanted to feel the gist of love.
Desire to fulfil wish with pure heart and soul.
Auspicious moments provoking to capture
Love the way you are,
I owe you for myself

What Does Marriage Mean to YOU

What Does Marriage Mean to YOU?

What all hear various definitions
 of what marriage means.
Not realizing the consequences
 this often brings!

There’s often a lack of commitment and faithfulness.
Many still looking for a true source of happiness!

This institution, that God set up as a husband and wife.
Needs to have his spirit,
 to guide our life!

It’s no wonder why, there’s many falling apart!
It’s causing heartache and many broken hearts!

No court in the land can wash away sin’s dark stain.
When adultery happens, things aren’t the same!

May we all seek to ask God
 to strengthen our home!
He’s there to help us!
 When we feel all alone!

We need the blood of Jesus to daily cleanse us!
He wants to do this! Because he loves us!

Jesus remains committed, faithful and strong!
His word will teach us what’s right and wrong!

May we seek HIS guidance and council!
You’ll find, that he is always most helpful!

Please Jesus… Heal the broken families
 across this nation!
For only you can provide
 a much needed foundation!

Healing Can Only Happen When the Pain Is Gone

Healing Can Only happen,
 When the Pain is Gone!

Healing can only happen, when the pain
 and damage are gone!
It can only come about, when there’s
 no “lists” of wrongs!

People need to move ahead, and put all
 of the past behind them!
And seek God’s forgiveness,
so his grace can find ‘em!

Too many carry a load of sorrow
and grief that they can’t afford!
They need to bring everything to Jesus,
 and make him their LORD!

How can we experience healing,
if the suffering is still there?
How will we ever be able to love others,
 and truly care?

May we all seek the kind of healing,
 that only Christ can bring!
May we allow him to remove
 all pain and suffering!

Jesus… We need your healing now! More than ever before!
It is your love that we must learn
 to treasure and adore!

Please come now and refresh us with your awesome love!
The sweetness of your Holy Spirit, is a gift from above!

Thank you God! The pain is gone and the healing has come!
All praise, glory and honor to Jesus!
 God’s anointed son!

Distant Love

The hours dwindle slowly by-
When I want you by my side.
Longing to feel the warmth of your breath
As you kiss away my pride.

The anger melts away,
When I'm held within your arms.
My balance quickly faltering;
As I fall for all of your charms.

The weeks are always longer-
When I don't get to have you near.
Wishing that I could run to you-
The distance heightening my fear.

The hours go by rapidly-
When you are finally home.
 Leaving me all by myself;
With my thoughts to roam.

The cycle starts all over-
I'm wishing that you were free.
Longing to feel the warmth of your breath.
Until you come right back to me.

There's A Web of Temptation And Sin

There’s a Web of Temptation and Sin!

There’s a web of temptation and a lot of sin…
That brings slavery and a strong bondage within!

Throughout this land, there’s an evil surge!
While many lives, seem to be getting “submerged!”

Being submerged, into a life, that many believe in.
They become perverted, but want all to receive them!

The “love and acceptance,”
 that many desire.
Puts them on a tightrope! A very thin wire!

As the web of temptation and sin begin to grow.
It brings a bondage that damages the soul!

They may want to have “love and acceptance.”
But in their hearts, needs to be a godly repentance!

May the holiness of a righteous God be stirred!
That all will come back, to the truth of his word!

His son Jesus, came to the cross! He bled and died!
That through him, our lives can be totally sanctified!

Only the power of God, can bring a needed restoration!
He gives to one and all…
 A heavenly invitation!

Whosoever will… Come now! And accept him!
Won’t you take the time, to really know him?

Don’t allow the web of life to destroy
and overcome you!
Come to Jesus now! He really does
 LOVE YOU!

New Neighbors

I am just finishing my morning meditation when I hear my doorbell ring. It actually sounds more like that buzzing sound you hear if you fry a fat fly on one of those electronic bug swatters. On my way to the door I hope it's not my new neighbor who just moved in the first floor apartment below me yesterday. Nobody wants a too friendly neighbor, right? I'm from the "fences make good compassionately mindful neighbors" school of thought about neighborly interdependence, much less intimacy.

I open the door to a 60-something blotchy, ashy, white-skinned man wearing grey polyblend sweatpants, slightly too short, over a pair of black Crocs, screaming "I gave up on myself years ago," and a lighter grey zip up the front, grimy hoody with a ripped left pocket, sleeves pushed up over old-red-haired-man, possibly ex-athlete, thick creepy hairy forearms.

Before I have a chance to let him know this feels invasive to me, or even say "Hello, who and why are you at my door during my meditation time?" the new downstairs neighbor starts flapping his jaws as if my ears were born to listen to his cheery wisdom.

"Hi, I'm Oliver. My two neurally challenged teenagers, Ivy's the bratty girl, and Daquan is the perfect, but sometimes a little loud, sort of like a really ticked off roaring lion, but you'll get used to it, son, and I are your new downstairs neighbors, and I wanted to meet you right away because I don't want you to freak out and call 911 when you hear us yelling or screaming or crying or jumping endlessly hour after hour because Ivy is really hyper and because Daquan can't speak but often seems to have a lot to bark and roar about what sometimes seems like its just gas and sometimes means he's wet and is trying to tell me I need to put the novel down, or stop writing that dreadful sad poetry, or writing predictable lyrics for country-western songs, much less living them, and sometimes he's just playing Tarzan, yodeling in his make-believe jungle. He's legally blind and uses a wheelchair for school but at home he scoots and thumps around, surprisingly athletic, on his butt, kind of like an upside down inchworm if inchworms had feet and arms, which of course they don't."

I don't have the first clue where this is going but we have no time, and apparently not the least commitment, to discern my own thoughts about Oliver's communication and rationality skills, or lack thereof.

"My husband lives about a mile upriver in our cottage that we are trying to expand before the rest of us move in. He is tall, dark and handsome in an AfricanAmerican kind of way and is usually depressed, at least when he's around us, which I can't really blame him because Ivy is Oppositionally Ordered, I don't know why they keep saying Fetal Alcohol kids have Oppositional Disorder because her capacity to oppose everything is most certainly not out of order, or in any way under-developed. She will pitch a fit if all you're trying to do is get her up from her feeding trough to help her out of a poopy diaper. You would think that somebody was going to eat her food after she has already marked it with her drool. I have no idea why they would call that Oppositional Disorder. No one I have ever met has been more oppositionally wired synaptic than my daughter."

"Anyway, Valentino, that's my husband, he suffers from chronic depression which is too bad because he used to have this really nice soft sense of humor and romance, if you know what I mean, but now he's just quiet and sad and afraid to retire because then he won't have any friends that don't drive him crazy like his family does, including me."

"He complains that we're too loud and stinky and the house is always filthy and my cooking is terrible but he likes to cook and clean so I don't really get it why it's not OK for me to not like to cook and clean, or do the laundry, or the dishes. Do you know what I mean? So, tell me about you."

Finally, a question other than the parenthetical "do you know what I mean."

"Ditto. Except mine are named, respectively, Yang, Yin, and Attila. Do you happen to like Ginseng tea with lots of honey?

I Love To Cry

When you dont look at me,
With other things to do when you are busy.
You seldom turn around and smile
You are with me, but just for a while.

I think of what will make me sad
Of things which ever make me mad.
And isolate myself away from you,
Wandering around what next to do.

And a long wait, a peek from the corner of my eye;
Feeling the pain grow, as to forget I try.
And then when it is already too late,
I notice your concerned stride past the gate.

You cuddle me, like a baby you hold,
Trying to reassure your love pre-told.
To get you near me, look at me, I could die;
And that is one reason I love to cry...

3000 miles from 3am

You're 3000 mile away
its 6 am
I'm in my own bed
dead asleep
my phone rings
its 3am
but your voice could wake me from a coma
you're 3000 miles away
and its only 3am

Love, Your Lonely Trucker Wife

Another night alone
Because the road is all you know.
Carry my heart with you please
Do with it what you will.
Every moment that you are gone
Fear consumes my soul.
Giving me reason to feel this cold
How hard to live this lonesome life.
I've given you all of me
Just to watch your tired eyes
Kill my ounce of hope.
Living this life has grown so old
My mind understands
Never will my heart.
Of all the things in the world
Pulling that load hurts me the most.
Questions flutter across the room
Regrets unspoken and how they consume.
Struggling to survive day to day
Torn to nothing
Unaware and ashamed.
Vigorously searching for what is unknown
Warmth of your touch is all I long for.
Xanthic flesh from our years
Zealous no more from these tears.

An Adulterous Situation

An Adulterous Situation I knew of a couple, involved in an adulterous situation. A person involved, claimed that he was a Christian! He told others that he wanted to tell her about the Lord… But this involvement in sin, he couldn’t well “afford!” A “casual” encounter led to the marriage’s destruction. Her husband was so hurt, he could hardly “function.” How could this man think there’s “nothing wrong with it.” “It must be fine.” He thought. “everyone’s doing it!” Jesus has come, that we might have freedom from within! Going to church, doesn’t give us a “license to sin!” God gave us marriage, as a holy and divine covenant! He gave us his word, so that our lives can be abundant! May this be a stern warning to one and all! That which may look attractive, will cause us to fall! If there’s something more from marriage that you desire… Be careful! Your deep passions will burn like a fire! May I encourage you to pray and seek the Lord above! And ask him to build your marriage on his love! Only he can restore everything the enemy has taken! He’ll be with you, when you may feel totally forsaken! Adultery is like a cancer cell… That will eventually destroy! It’ll rob you of the many blessings, that God wants you to enjoy! What God has joined as one... May there be no separation! But a heart of unselfishness, and a renewed dedication! By Jim Pemberton

heard

 Sounds to me I'm deaf
Cant hear the murmur any more

 A thousand sounds a day I know
Only I can not hear it if they show

 The gaining of quiet stance
Bitter sweet the silence

I could just not hear you anymore
I understand you sounds to my core

 Found myself straining to listen
Only to hear a blank shot angrily hasten

When we come to sound out loud
This is when I can face this crowd

 Till then---

Sounds to me I'm deaf
Cant hear the murmur any more

For my husband

Will you be happy if I am gone?
Will you be happy if I leave you?
No matter how it hurts, no matter how bad it is
If this is the only way to see you smile again, I will….

I have tried to apologize, and say “I’m so sorry”
I have tried to hug you , but you push me away.
Day by day, softly, it’s killing me,
I am just like a wind , I exist but you couldn’t see.

I know it’s my fault that’s why I am suffering
It’s me who failed you once again and the reason for crying
Please talk to me, please tell me honestly
Do we still have a chance or I am now a nobody?

Sorry for causing you too much pain
Sorry for my mistakes and doing it all over again
I will not swear or give you false promises again
But please give me a chance and start all over again.

But if by chance you choose to leave me
And ask me to let you go
I will try to accept it and feel the pain
I will just close my eyes when you walk away.

Vexing High

I’m caught in the midst of a dream I reside –
tumbling lovers tempting romance with pride.
Twisting and thrusting, to and fro with hate –
stumbling over a beautiful destiny and fate.

Creeping and crawling through shards of hope –
resisting the tension on a loveless, tight rope.
Shuddering in solitude, and mentally numb –
oblivious to the breakdown of who I’ve become.

Teasing and taunting, the years of lost time –
mocking their innocence with words and rhyme.
Insulting their integrity, of wrong over right –
disregarding true feelings, absconding the night.

Searching the wreckage, down high and up low –
for bits of true love and familiar pieces I know.
Vexing in torment, and accepting thy defeat –
of an unspeakable romantic tale of deceit.

Passion in D-Major

Passion in D-Major

Feeling, the sensuous brush-
strokes on a canvas,

swirling,

to a symphonic crescendo,

of our shared heartbeats,

fading between the notes,

feeling your soft body entwined
with mine,

your form bathed in my infinite
kisses,

our orchestral desire rising,

conducting a shared fusing of
passion,

... the music echoing ...

over the precipice,

on the brink of dazzling rainbow
hues,

lost in the void,
of an eternal instant,

plunging through the depths of
rhyme,

pleading,
forever pleading,

for a prolonged,

bouquet of shared time.

What If Joseph Kissed Potiphar's Wife

What If Joseph Kissed Potiphar’s Wife?

What would happen if Joseph kissed Potiphar’s wife?
Just think about the impact this would be on his life!

If he’d entered into her temptation and charm…
This would’ve cause much damage and harm!

Many of God’s blessings, I’m sure he would missed ‘em!
If he’s let Potiphar’s wife reach out and kiss him!

Thank God that he didn’t succumb to her beauty.
He held fast and remembered his God given duty!

A life serving God was something that he chose!
Even if it meant her tearing off a part of his clothes!

Godly living was something he decided to choose!
Even if it meant him being falsely accused!

God used him while he spent time in prison!
He trusted God, and knew that he was with him!

I’m sure there were things that he didn’t understand.
But soon, God made him the #2 ruler in the land!

May this be a stern warning to me and to all!
Think about what temptation may cause you to fall!

Scripture says “resist the devil and he will flee from you!”
Run to God! And allow his presence
 to surround you!

This society often encourages to “indulge” in sexual sin!
This is where so much heartache and misery begins!

Run to the Lord! Seek his spirit to lead and guide you!
A way to escape temptation, he’ll provide for you!

Like Joseph, run from temptation as fast as you can run!
And lay everything at the feet of God’s precious son!

His love will sustain you! Regardless of what you’re “missing.”
So you too can receive HIS love
 and Godly blessings!

God Can Heal Your Marriage

How often have you told your
wife you love her?
Only to be caught in the arms of “another…”

The vows that were made...
 The promises given.
God gives a chance for you
to be forgiven!

A husband and wife are sanctioned
 by our Lord…
But often end up in anger,
 bitterness and discord.

Jesus can mend the hurt and remove the pain.
And bring a healing to
 any guilt or shame.

He loves you with a Godly
jealousy that is evident.
Into your heart and life…
He longs to be a resident.

Won’t you allow his power
 to bring a restoration?
Before your family is heading
 toward a separation?

Let his words of hope and
 love be the glue.
And bring a new meaning to the words;
 “I LOVE YOU!”

May you be “caught up” in your
heavenly father’s embrace.
And allow his love
to put a smile on your face!

What God has joined as one.
 He can keep together.
Won’t you allow him to bless
 your marriage forever?

No More

No more kissing you insanely
Feeling passion blush across my body
The warmth of your hands to guide me
No more feeling your heart beat next to mine
The sweat of our bodies meeting, cling
Cling onto one another lost becoming one
No more, rhythmic lovemaking in our own time.
Lost in our own obtuse formation of tangling
limbs
Struggling to please each others' fixation
Delighted and thrilled
No more to you the man I love
No more love

I Don't Need This

Why does everything have to be a fight?
I don't need this.
Not tonight.
All the cruel things you say.
I have to hear them every day.
You have to twist all my words
until I'm the crazy one.
You push me so hard
and I'm so close to done.
You put me down and you don't trust me.
Well you need to see
that your cruel way will crush me.
I can't handle this...
You make me feel like I'm nothing.
Like I'm no one to you.
This isn't what love is supposed to feel like.
You just can't see
How much you're hurting me.
You certainly don't care!
If you did, you wouldn't be so...
Hypocritical.
Heartless.
Selfish.
Stifling....
Mean.
You make me hate myself.
Yet I still love you.
I always will...
And I hate myself for that too....

Less Than A Day

The touch of your whispers has blown through the air
And the wave of summer disappears in the sand
There’s nothing to stop these memories are gone
Let the playbook now rest for the feelings they’ve stopped
Slowly it turns the small hands on your wrist
The knots in your belly have clenched like a fist
You picture the east and close her eyes
For the dawn’s a coming in all of our lives
The night’s now bleeding forever it tilts
Circling the orbit no rest from the filth
Rivers are flowing and spirits are dim
And the skies from the ocean will always stand still
The pain from the east has moved to the west
These days are numbered just like the rest
Blind in the rivers the hand clears it away
The whole world has changed in less than a day

Lonely

Lonely heart, mind, soul and body
Overcast with sorrow and heavy with unshed tears
Never again can I hold my love and
Ever he willed my love to die
Loving anew, remarried, leaving me dying
You'll never know I love you still until the end of time

He’ll be with you, when you may feel totally forsaken! Adultery is like a cancer cell… That will eventually destroy! It’ll rob you of the many blessings, that God wants you to enjoy! What God has joined as one... May there be no separation! But a heart of unselfishness, and a renewed dedication! By Jim Pemberton

THE UNION,:supportWidows supportWidowers

From far away past where silent orbs
Danced to rhythms of unknown forces forging
Newer niches in cloud then soil then rock,
Smouldering, sizzling silently as time tic toc
Ebbed away, watching life on some lifeless rock surging,
To this day when we dance to the rhythm of Forbes,
The moon and sun in divine love urging
Have danced about the earth: light source upon a rock,
Bringing life to earth when the sullen clock
Calls out the grim owl, vile wolf, and sturdy sturgeon
Through the silent night nobody else disturbs,
Locked in eternal enthralment, watching the dark dungeon
Earth would be but for the sun- or moonlight it absorbs.
Moonlight from sunlight like new groom and virgin
Locked in an embrace older than Eden’s first baulk,
But sealed forever to work on this blue rock;
Bringing light to life on earth at dawn then dusk, merging
Efforts: sun casts its beams on daytime suburbs
But when the earth turns as if to shun its scourging,
That age old mission bound to fail as dusk struck
Finds new life in the passive glitter on that battered rock,
The partner playing its part, for so it was from the first forging.
From far away past, as far back as the silent space orbs,
The sun and moon in sublime love urging.
Have danced about and cast shadows out of this rock
And so it should be, for when one’s gone and you lose the rock
Foundation of the union, then is there but darkness and dirge in
The picture, and the survivor is just a lifeless rock listening for hope in the orbs.

Lonely

Alone with the thoughts in my head,
I only want to crawl into bed.
Your gone away from me for some time,
I want you to be here to be mine.
I exhale a sigh of despair,
I know we make the perfect pair.
It gets lonely here with you both gone,
We only get time together is when there is a yawn.
Red like the rose is how my heart bleeds for you,
Everything together we had to get through.
So just a few more hours till I see your faces,
I will wait to feel your warm embraces.

Lonely As Hell

Married and together yet I'm lonely as hell,
Will things ever get better it is sure hard to tell,
From where I stand things get worse everyday,
I think I'm ready to throw in the towel, let you be, and go my seperate way;

I've tried and tried to talk to you,
But there's just no getting through,
You never admit to any wrong,
So it's time we say so long;

If now you were to say you'd like to work it out,
There's just too much doubt,
You're efforts would just be in vain,
Too little, too late, and way too much pain;

I no longer want to even try,
I've wasted a lot of feelings on you, WHY,?
It's been 8 years and you're never going to truly love me,
Go have a great and blessed life, you're FREE;

All I ever wanted was to love you,
It used to be so easy to do,
But, you have become someone I totally don't know,
So now you have finally got what you want I'm letting you go;...
