Arabian Mist

"The Arabian Nights"

Underneath the oceans veil.
Mystery lies within.
Beyond Orion's belt, I shift my mind to sail.
Within me, every constellations hides secrets of sin.

Allowing me, to time frame the world of yesterday.
I found portals with no way-out.
Covering every bruise that my body had on display.
Drawing along the mist of no doubt!

I tie eternity into loopholes with no ending.
Singing a song that lacks the strength to be strong.
Trying hard to swallow words that have no mending.
Babbling at my tongue, when one's heart is wrong.

I hide in the light, away from the darken mist.
A sprint sensation lurking down-under.
Anthologies written only to exist.
A place that strikes louder than thunder.

Eyes that port and slow everything down.
Mysteries behind, a deadly desert storm.
Slaving under the 3rd crown.
Candlelight's guiding a new wedding form.

Executed in a thousand tales, of romance.
Knocking at my door ending another dream.
A sensual marriage with regrets, and loss of chance.
Dancing streams with no means.

Avalon, closing over an Arabic Night.
A story cradling me in bed.
By morning dawn I will no longer see light.
Waking up to another Arabian Night.

. by;p.d.

NOTE~ I read the book 5 years ago.
ABOUT~ "THE ARABIAN NIGHTS."
the book is Full of mischief, valor, ribaldry, and romance,
plus more.
I based my poem On the Queen,
Who's Husband would kill his new wife after one night of marriage...
Most of my lines are metaphorical, about the mysteries and stories told...

Granny Panty Annie, the Tranny

Lemme tell ya' about a
*ding-bat skit-zo
bee-hotch* tranny
named Annie...

I met her one night
under disco lights
up at Candies

She was
starin' at me
grittin' her teeth
aimin' ta' see
if I wanted a piece
of he
OR
of she
by way of flashin' granny panties

She was
shootin' pool
actin' a fool
so I
took a shot
and one tiny glance
but got caught

So I
lit up a smoke
and tried to play it off cool
but it was too late
she had pulled up a stool

She slurred,
"Hey young felluh, where ya' been all my life!"

I replied,
"Sorry to burst yir' bubble, but I got a wife!"

"That don't matter kid, what she don't know won't hurt the girl"
as she fisted my collar and yelled, "I'LL ROCK YIR' WORLD! Annie the Tranny is what they call me. Bet you been wanted ta' bone me since you first saw me!"

Fear and frustration danced on my face
I begged the bouncer to
"Get this he/she outta the place!"

My pleas were to no avail,
and that sea donkey lurked hot on my trail
flailin' it's arms and grindin' bar stools with it's tail

Speakin' of tails...
a shiny blue wale tail crept up her back
Her jeans were mean, but couldn't hold her underwear's elastic slack
but at least it beat feastin' eyes upon her crack
then she...
wrapped her grimy hands around my neck and asked,
"You n' me, boy, what the heck!?!"

I screamed,
"Look here lady, you seem real nice for a tranny;
but...
ya' see...
ya' need
to hit the bricks,
you
and yir' Granny Panties!"

At that point the joint started to really heat up
people were glarin' like they really wanted me beat up
I can't recall how the hell I got out of there
alive and free
it was like a big manly freight train
headin' dead at me

I'm pretty sure I owe the good Lord a big favor
that beast was the devil
and Jesus was my Savior!

It's a night I thought would never end...
the night at Candies Bar n' Grill
Granny Panty Annie got a thrill
tryin' to make me her sexy friend!!!

The Dog Days of Summer

We let down the top to soak in the sun
Now that the harshness of winter is done

As you let back the seat and put your feet on the dash
Saying, “keep your eyes on the road I don’t want to crash”

I truly must admit that I’m torn completely in two
The coast has its beauty, then again so do you

As the beauty of the Sun is absorbed by your skin
Like a kid at the candy store I simply want to dig in

If life is a candy store sweetheart you are the treat
All the other candy I tasted, never tasted so sweet

The reason I love summer is because of the heat
The skimpier the bikini, the greater the treat

I can’t begin to express how wonderful you are
Saying, “hey take a look at her I’ll steer the car”

At first I truly had no idea what I should say?
Though now it’s, “ok sweetheart, have it your way”

I think that is because you know these words are true
I may take look at her but I shall forever belong to you

Summer is a time that is as bright as the sun
Out goes the cold as it’s replaced by the fun

We have our barbecues and sit under the stars
Let down the tops and go for rides in our cars

Go tend to our gardens in farmer John clothes
Truly amazed at how fast everything grows

Go hang out at the river as well as the lake
Cover ourselves in oil than let our skin bake

Embrace the moments because these words are true
The days last much longer and the sky is so blue

The dog days of summer I reckon that’s so
We bark and howl at folk we don’t even know

If life is banquet then summer is the feast
I think we should gobble it up, to say the least

Jungle Love

Your sweet nectar
wraps around my senses
like jungle vines
steady drums beating
Your heart near mine

Your strong hands
hold me suspended
by my waist
Just enough pain and strength
against my supple skin
For my taste

The musk of your
sculpted body and the forest
has me going wild
But yet, the tender way you
protect me, reminds me of
Being a child

A safe familiarity
with a strain of animalistic
seduction
Your invisible hold over me
leaves me arrow poisoned
Unable to function

My long dark hair wraps you
with smells of coconut and ocean Sun
your locks full of mud and enemies
Blood
together, my warrior
We make One

For One Day

If I had only one day left with you,
I would ask that day be in God's own time,
one day, a lifetime, every moment
an expression of love,
every hour a new adventure.

twenty four hours to slowly pass
with you at my side,
a never-ending dream,
always giving thanks,
one day left with you,

would be eternity.

The Wedding

Wedding Night in Raqqa

Cyclonic violet vision

Etheral and immortal

She swirls her sand baked torso.

Evoking the initial collision of primordial seed,

Swathed in gossamer purple veils,

Writhing to the stomping and clapping

Of jeweled ankles

And henna stained hands.

The tribes have united for my wedding to their son.

I ,foreign and naive, swoon to the power

Of ancient rhythm and verse,

Ripe, fertile gestures,

Pregnant with throbbing pulses

And scattered beats of flailing arms,

Bleating tongues, spinning robes.

A cacophony of incessant chant rose from the dancing women,

Growning louder, feverish in their pleasure

And the nearness of release.

I join in the dancing.

They swath me in voiles and lead me to the center

I dance, and I succumb to my wedding night in Raqqa.

The True Love of a Man

When I was just a little girl, I dreamed I’d meet a knight. He’d proudly wear his shining armor, and guard me day and night. I kept on dreaming half my life and searched as I grew. Until I found my knight one day, I found my knight in you! Before our paths crossed that day, my struggles had been great. But when I laid my eyes upon you, I thought it must be fate. You gently got to know me and embraced me as a friend. And as our friendship grew in time, we knew it wouldn’t end. As our lives were set in motion, we climbed mountains and sailed seas. And as we’ve shared our lives together, we’ve blended with such ease. Our friendship grew as years passed by into such an enduring love. This thing we have together now was blessed from God above! I know we both have said it. We feel it in our souls. We’ve devoted our lives to each other, and together we’ll grow old. The love we share is very rare, and should be held with high esteem. For some may only find this kind, only in their dreams. This is what God planned for us, to live here on this land. To be the best we both can be, walking through it hand in hand. Even when our roads seem rough, we must have a faith that lasts. We’ll smile as we share many today’s, and reflect gladly on our past. I hope I’ve touched your life my love, as much as you’ve touched mine. For this is the love I’ve always dreamed of, a love both gentle and kind. I believe we meet our “soul mate” only once in our lives. This blessing from God has come to us, I’m proud to be your wife. With all this said my poem will end. A poem for my love, who is also my friend! I want to thank you with all that I am, For showing me Darling, the true love of a man!
With all my love, Michelle Merry Christmas – December 2006©

The Owl and the PusyCat Sail

Together the Owl and the PusyCat were married
Then again sailed out over the deep blue seas
Searching forever for the great Land of Nod,
To the place where they could find true peace.
True peace, true peace… Where they could find true peace.

The love that twined forever within their hearts
They sought throughout all the wonderous lands
Going to the place where they would live in peace,
A place where true peace, rules and lives in the hearts of the land.
The land, the land… Where true peace lives in the heart of the land.

Alas, the love of the heart, though truly not easy to find…
Is easier to find than the love of peace, found throughout the land.
So it’s said they will continue to sail, until that day comes true,
And when they land for the final time, will be up to me and you.
Me and you, me and you… That day will be up to me and you.

Secretly Obsessed

Obsessed with the thought of you
wondering if it's only me or
if you sometimes remember the sweet things you've said
and if you meant them how I took them
or if I'm just obsessed with what's in your head

Obsessed with your very sentences
Every response I take personal
I know it's selfishness
Have you not noticed my eyes?
They hold secrets that only you can unlock
if you'd just take time to fill the thick juices of my pride
It's just boiling with lust, passion, trust and distrust
and other things I obsess over so much

I find myself writing to free myself from this prison I've created
where only you and I reside
I become confused about what I'm really feeling inside and I
try to rid the thoughts that are highly debated as false and I
begin to cry and
think of casting love spells so that the universe can deliver this affair
I know it's unfair
but I don't care

I'm obsessed with what hasn't happened between us
I'm obsessed with your heart and that the fact that
I don't think you've even noticed my selfish innuendos
and secret undertones that blatantly express my lust
Or maybe you have and you calmly remain in resistance of distrust
If you could only read my mind by simply touching my fingertips,
I'm sure I'd catch you out the corner of my eye biting your bottom lip
I'm obsessed with the passion and thoughts I think you have
Obsessing over an experience that I may never have....

I Can See

I seen a man
I seen a man
Bearing the weight of his yore problems in life
No tears wept, he left the emotions to his wife
I seen a man
Daring to proceed in front of crowds and be his own person
Discovering the independence of his character in confusion
I seen a man
Touch not, he could not feel
Speak not, his mouth was sealed
Hear not, no one can listen to his mind
Taste not, the insipid peels of lime
I seen a man
In his wild days, love, would be thrown out there
Following an untraced path, set in air
Hate would bubble within
But it would not erupt, only applause... Fading
His story would confuse the young, puzzle the old
This is just the introduction untold
I seen a man
Imaged in black and white
I seen a man
But I am blind
I seen a man
I seen a man

' Rain, Fire, Ice and Breeze '

I Watched A Man, Named, ‘ Rain ‘
Pounding Across The Plains
Running with Cascading Joy
Like a Wet, Happy, Little Boy …

I Found A Man, Named, ‘ Fire ‘
Blaze in Life, A Lightning Desire
His Bold Passion – Consuming Power
Sent Smoke Signals, to My Tower

I Observed A Man, Named, ‘ Ice ‘
Tho’ Frost-Natured, He Did Entice
‘ … Come Hold Me, if You Dare …
And Find Out, if Cold-Can-Care …’

… I Beheld A Man, Named, ‘ Breeze ‘
And Begged Him, ‘Touch Me Please …
Gentle, like a Lover’s Kiss
Whisper to Me, Things I Wished…’

… and Sitting Content, on This Hillside
Listen Now… as I Confide …
‘ Rain and Fire … Ice and Breeze ’
Don’t You Know … You Are All Of These . . .

My Husband's Dream

Everything is so still as the morning slowly comes,
from afar, the sound of a babbling brook is heard.
Perched high up, I wait for daylight to surround these peaceful woods,
as I sat listening to the dew dripping from the trees.
What a beautiful place to be, on such a cold November morn,
the first day of Deer Season has finally come.
Shhh, listen, strange sounds coming from behind, as I turn to look,
I can't believe my eyes, he is big, so big, sniffing, and grunting
he comes closer.
Counting the points, yes, ten I see, trembling, I take my rifle
in hand, zero in, he is mine, monstrous rack..
The echo rings through the woods, perfect shot, he is down,
shaking I climb to the ground to take a look at this BOSS of the Pines.
My first hunt of the season, and what a deer, one for the record.

I have two and a half months of this to listen to......
and this is his dream every night, and I hear it every day.

Magical Things

I think I’ll live forever
I think I’ll refuse to die
Plant my body in the ground
My spirit’s going to fly

Please come fly away with me
Once this journey is complete
Universe can be our home
Our own magical retreat

Two celestial bodies
Darling lets take to the sky
Forget the why, when or how
This dream is for you and I

Gliding upon golden wings
We can dance from star to star
I would travel anyplace
So I could be where you are

Angel’s dance like fireflies
Through trails of glittering dust
In heaven magical things
Exist for people like us

It seems we have come so far
Seems the limit is the sky
When I think of who you are
Tears of joy I need to cry

Everything is what you are
You are everything to me
Long as eternity last
My soul shall be one with thee

So let’s live on forever
We will each refuse to die
Plant our bodies in the ground
As our spirits take to the sky

Summer Memories From The Tree of Life

Summer season was my childhood’s greatest fun time,
We played with toys out of a coconut tree which is a tree of life,
We built little houses beautifully and so high as we climbed
Like a flying trapeze on its leaves, we swung so high.

We played with toys made of coconut trees, the tree of life,
My playmates joined me in building little houses using a dull knife,
Out of its leaves and midribs, we made walls, roofs and doors,
Pretended as good cooks with its coconut shells and fruits.

My playmates joined me in building little houses using a dull knife
Pretended to live together as families with husband and wife,
I took the role of an elder sister in our little comfortable house
I combed the hair of a younger sibling with a coco midrib brush.

Pretended to live together as families with a husband and wife
Just like small neighborhood or community along the riverside
We chose one of the eldest playmates to be the group captain,
The leader of unity and cooperation in building more tents.

Just like small neighborhood or community along the riverside
We helped one another as piles of coco leaves we made as rides,
We made unique toys out of leaves and roots as much as we could
Like trumpets when blown, we covered our ears for its loud sound.

We helped one another as piles of coco leaves we made as a ride
We webbed balls, insects and other toys for a surprise to hide,
When the captain signaled to show who's the most had a reward
Then ran with our wind vanes to the beach and marched forward.

We webbed balls, insects and other toys for a surprise to hide
We played with toys out of a coconut tree which is a tree of life,
When the captain signaled us to show the most had a reward
A wonderful summer memory from a Tree of Life I've ever had!

Sept. 11,2012

Note: The coconut trees are considered the “Trees of Life”. They can provide almost all the things we need like shelter, clothing, foods and others. So, let us preserve coconut trees! They are very helpful but be careful because they are also risky during typhoons, LOL. There are many coconut trees in our backyard especially along the riverside connecting to the beach. These trees had added so much joy on summer time during my childhood years/graders.

MARRIAGE SEX AND ROMANCE

 MARRIAGE SEX AND ROMANCE

“Some other time, I’m not in the mood
Why cant we just cuddle and watch TV”?
When couples drift into the celibate zone
It’s not long till someone will flee.

Sexual fulfillment helps preserve love,
 Parenthood, marriage and self-esteem.
Those who maintain it avoid saying no
To be blessed by its pleasure and gleam.

While dating we tend to be more romantic
Putting forth the best of our charms.
Sharing dinners, long walks, and lustful weekends
As we spend more time in each others arms.

How many times have you said “not tonight”?
Exposing your happy home to harm.
Today’s crushing deadlines leave little time for love
Leaving partners with sorrow, sadness and alarm.

So share one another with red wine and time
Dial your own number and leave the phone off the hook.
Enjoy some romance, sex and laughter
Improving your mood and the way you look.

My Future Generation

I can act insane
But DO NOT
Make me feel worthless

I belong in God’s family
He will bless my future generation

Don’t punish me for
Being myself –
Don’t envy my glee

I can act like an
Adult, but I’d
Prefer to have joy…

Not stress…
That piles upon us in our
Everyday lives

Being childlike is

A rare beauty –

No one prizes it…

No one came across it…

In this lifetime…

I can laugh all day
I can make you smile
If you’d accept my
Childlike dreams of mine
Don’t treat me like a sick swine

Renew my young heart
Give me the ability
To kill the old man…

I have my place in God’s family
He’ll be adored and glorified
We’ll exchange prayers and hugs
By my future generation

I beg of you –
Don’t kill my childlike mentality
I’ll behave myself…
I’m positively sure that I’ll make you happy

I’ll still have pieces of a child in me

And pass it on to my future generation…

The Flames Of Love

I feel the flames of love ignite, Burning me to my very core, As it blazes on into the night; Deep in my heart I know it’s right, I’ve never felt like this before; I feel the flames of love ignite; Sweat glistens in the fire light, And my senses tingle for what’s in store, As it blazes on into the night; Your kisses on my skin, alight; It leaves me begging for more and more, I feel the flames of love ignite; My passion drives me to my height, And in fervor we explore, As it blazes on into the night; We can’t hold back now anymore, In unison our bodies soar; I feel the flames of love ignite, As it blazes on into the night.

A New Beginning

Here’s to new beginnings,
And what this year will bring;
A fun filled year of passion,
And our baby in the spring;

A new life in our arms,
Our prospects look so bright;
Just thinking of our future,
Fills me with delight;

I can not wait to hold him,
And watch the wonder in his eyes;
As each an every second,
Fills him with surprise;

He is the new beginning,
To the life that we’ve begun;
And a happy home in which,
We welcome our new son.

The Old Plane Graveyard

My husband drives the highway past the old plane graveyard.
Permission to visit once a dream, now his reward.
He drools, as he studies the bounty before him, to take.
First the one that comes closest, but none he will forsake.
He smiles as he watches the sun glint off the metal shapes.
He will climb around slowly with his measuring tapes.
To see in the cockpit he would give his right arm.
But needs it instead to draw the fuselage with all it’s charm.
He grunts and he groans as he crawls upon it’s length.
He’ll count the rivets later, after he takes a drink.
Then back he’ll go to examine some more.
There’re switches and gadgets, and baubles galore.
He’s never been happier as he stares at the planes.
To disturb him now would truly be a shame.
He lithely runs between each and every plane.
And he spouts about symbols and phrases hard to explain.
He imagines them flying, as only he could.
Piloting the planes would be better than good.
Occasionally his head pops up as he does research by the ton.
He looks like a gopher as he searches hither and yon.
Finally exhausted he will pack up his gear.
Now he’ll do research on the computer to make it more clear.
He’ll know each it’s history. It’s date and it’s year.
Even whoever commanded it, plus their bombardiers.
The faces he’ll research to go with the names.
And emblems he’ll find that once adorned this old plane.
His friends from his club will go oh and then ah.
Then they’ll ask him to share with modelers, one and all.
By computer the details will spread the world before dark.
It will travel to people in every terrain, no matter how stark.
And modelers will smile as they build a new plane.
With details, and beauty, and history explained.
Now officially remembered with a new life for the old.
People now made happy will remember stories so bold.
I end my refrain with a history newly rediscovered.
An old plane’s life brought back, now on a modelers’ magazine cover.

The Fishermen's Lament

Angrily, rain enfolds the insular rise of lawn undulating.
Anglers dream, envious fishermen, inside looking out urging

apostles, who elope within imaginary onslaughts, hooked unburdening's.
Aloft, thunder encounters lightening's insistent taunt, oracles fearsome uttering's.

And still, each fisherman's innermost summoning orchestrates this untoward
atmospheric downfall, each drop induced, prayerful, outpouring is underscored.

Admittedly many envious housebound inmates seek oceans, lakes, unexplored
although, the earthly torrent interferes pitiless, onerous, rainfall unleashed.

Absent the energizing rays introduced by ordinary sun, undone
are these enigmatic men in rooms, oar less, ship-less, landlubbers unconsoled.

Another day encases them indoors mooning over fish uncontrolled.
A trophy earned, stuffed, indisputably shows offerings untold.

Ah, fishtails energetically rise incensed by objections never unabridged
absent their earnest wives, imagination rolls on winds un-curtailed.

The White man

He was young,
Had his guns on his hip.
Walkin the streets,
With a cigar on his lip.
The town folk were scared,
They knew what he could do.
They have seen what he done,
To a chosen few.
The leather he wore,
Was stained from the powder of his gun.
A sign of the battles,
That the slinger had won.
A family moved in,
That no one knew.
A white man,
And a wife that was sious.
The young man decided,
The lady would not survive.
Because of her color,
She would die.
In the street,
In the middle of town,
This is where the slinger,
Where he gunned her down.
The white man,
Anger in his eyes,
Decided to give the slinger,
A surmise.
Leave this town,
Be gone by noon at best,
Or feel a bullet from my gun,
Deep in you'r chest.
The slinger smiled,
I am too fast,
You are an ole man,
You'r time has past.
You'r time has come ole man,
Take you'r stand,
But I tell you now,
Better have a fast hand.
When the smoke cleared,
The slinger lay on the ground,
With the white man,
looking down.
The slinger had just one last request,
How did you learn to shoot that way?
The white man answered,
I'm the son of Doc Holiday.

Chandelier of Stars

Chandelier of stars,
Against wooden sky,
Feeling so high,
Feeling so fine,
You are mine,
And I pine,
For your every verbal caress,
Every physical beat,
Take a seat,
I’ll teach you what it is to feel-
Heat,
In your backbone,
I need a microphone,
To tell of your appeal,
I feel,
Closer to you each day,
I pray,
To continue this journey of ours,
So far,
We’ve progressed,
Through violence and stress,
Our worst and our best,
We share,
I’d spare,
You,
Of my rage,
I feel caged,
Sometimes,
In my mind,
Since I am yours,
And you are mine,
Our souls together,
Forever?
Forever,
I feed the need,
To succeed,
With you by my side,
I’m in for a ride,
All kidding aside,
Your love lets me float,
I wrote,
This for my man,
So he’ll understand,
What I feel,
So utterly real,
I utter,
And stutter,
One day we’ll walk,
Down the aisle,
For a mile,
On white sand beach,
Confidence in the reach,
Of our hearts,
To each others.

Power of Your Love

To a Bride and Groom

You have the power
over my love
to make my day rain or shine
it all began the day you asked me
"to be mine" and I wrote my name
in blood, on your hearts
dotted line
the power of my love
to fuel what feeds within me
pounce on me as a tiger
humble me as a mouse
your strength envelopes me
as if standing in an unbreakable
glass house
you have the power
over my stare, as you glare
into my inner spirits soul
those who dare to try to divide
I heed them to beware
the power you have over my love
leaves me content, without a care
floating together, we share, in
true loves enchanting bliss
what started years ago, with a friendly
hug, is reincarnated within every
new days kiss

Real men shoot hot pink guns and LIKE it

Hot lead is cool no matter what gun fires the load
Sig sauer makes an accurate twenty two pistol
If you have had a jam problem keep them in mind
The light polimer frame in hot pink or purple etc.
Makes the gun a blast of excitement on the range
All the guys were drooling and smiling like a champ
Hitting the bulls eye is the target of the sport....

Today is Our Day

Today we have nothing better to do
So let’s hit the road, Babe, going nowhere,
Let’s take a dirt road, just me and you,
We can put the top down and feel the wind in our hair,
It doesn’t matter where we end up as long as your there;

There is no place that I’d rather be,
The road stretches out for miles on end,
Let’s park by the river, just you and me,
And watch the water run around the bend,
There is no better way for our day to end!

It' s All In A Laugh

I never knew what amazing was
until I kissed my husband's lips
or felt him laugh when we danced

I had no idea he liked to play
isn't that very sad!
but he played games with me

It is wonderful that he now makes me laugh
but I am more excited I make him feel silly
until he bunny hops with me closely

As we fell we laughed and laughed
I had no idea he was that type of man
I can see he thought the same about me too

I love the way he flirts with his eyes
or that he loves my Fedora hat
and laughs when he sees me wearing it

Driving my convertible with our pit bull in the back
but my favorite thing ever was how he loved me
I have never known anything as perfect as that

I guess you can say our love is best
when it's all in a laugh
together building new memories

Thank you Lord for him and that!

Wedding Night Bliss

With a sleepy smile she whispered
“I said I do today”
Spoken words with heart and mind
Lust and desire made clear
“Boy, how you grind my gears
and still arouse such wantom awakening
to parts of my body previously only stirred…”
My mind turns to the number of times
we have all but made love with our clothes on
Innocently touching, holding, wanting
Preserving something so very special
ready for the day that I can take you
Knowing you are my bride, belong to me,
are part of me, for now we are one
Together every breath, movement, thought
melds together in heated entangled embrace
My hands search for the warmth of your touch
the silky softness of your satin smooth skin
Item by item crumpled garments fold to floor
as I slowly admire your naked womanly form
for first time
watching waiting wondering
yet knowing you are as ready as I as you smile
I scoop you into my arms,
lie you on our bed
Slowly we make our way into Paradise,
lost to ourselves
Found in our desires for one another
Destination – satisfaction
We arrive as husband and wife

SUMMER:WINTER

For the seasons bring thoughts to my young mind,
The reaction to each accordingly,
Your thought brings one season in mind to find,
I smile, but then I cry, suprisingly.

The summer, one season so intense,
Emotions rush when I hear your sweet voice,
Sometimes the thought does not make any sense,
But having you to hold is the best choice.

Even so, it's not the same when you're gone,
Winter creeps in my mind like the darkness.
The coldness I get when am all alone,
I can't be without you, I must confess.

My love, knight in shining armor, my king;
I wake up everyday, glad to be your queen.

First star to your empty Night

I want a love that
fills my veins like
liquid fireworks
sweet like sugar and
cinnamon
strong enough to knock
me off my feet, like a
mighty ocean wave, yet
gentle and magic
like the forgotten lyrics
to a nursery rhyme

I want our spirits to soar
into a bright forever
like two yellow balloons
released, by the
tiny, sticky hands
of a little child
I want, my man, to know
my true self
like the words to a favorite
song on the radio
to feel me, all that is me
rhythm bound from a beaten
street drummer

I wish to be a bright guiding light
as the first star
to your empty night
A familiar love, as
traveling back to a childhood spot
your first love kiss...
first bully fight...
first playground crush lost...

I want a love
that encompasses
my senses, envelopes me
from nothing, like the
steam from my rose petal tea
filling my pores
leaving me
rejuvenated and refreshed

A love, whom steals my worries
as a thief in the night
and greets me with doe- eyed
kisses, once rounding
up a fight

I speak these words into the
universe, to send me a love
to call my own
what path will my soul mate
travel to me, mysterious
mystical journey unknown

When I hold your hand

When I hold your hand
I know its true
your love for me
has truly grew
from a hill to a
mountain
your the only one
I can count on
to be there when times
are lonely
in all your sweet
kisses and hugs, you
have shown me
your love is my treasure
and we can stand strong
through any weather
as turtle doves,
we fly together forever
when I hold your hand

Valentine Romance

Valentines day is always something special to me, I explained.
So I planned a romantic evening and got ready for my campaign.
The children were at a sleepover with their favorite friends they adore.
So I met my hubby as he came in, accidentally tripping and making him hit the door.
Thank God his head is hard as he hit that, the nearby TV, but very little more.
I made Cherries Jubilee as a snack while he sat there with an ice pack to his head.
But before I knew it, I’d knocked it over and almost burned down the house instead.
When he finally put the fire extinguisher away…
I got up and got some of the kids’ apple tarts I had made.
He bit in deep and burned his mouth, declaring he wasn’t hungry and the pain would fade.
Next he decided to go upstairs, but I had put rose petals down everywhere in spades.
And yes you probably guessed it… he slipped and ended up needing a little aide.
At this he decided to take an aspirin and lay down upon the couch. OH HHWell…
But I knew the rest needed to happen above, to totally create this romantic spell…
I had to get him to the candles and bubble bath, where my romantic dreams still dwelled.
So I got out some scarves and danced toward him, tying up his hands before he fell.
He never knew what hit him as he was lassoed and gently bounced up the stairs.
I guess I wouldn’t have had to tie his feet… a few words would have done as well.
But you know me when I get going, my mind tends to lose a few brain cells…
He was flustered, exhausted and bruised when he got there, but he’s made of the right stuff.
Though as I took off the scarves, he flopped on the bed pulling the covers over his head kind of rough.
He said he loved me, but living with me could be kind of tough.
He said it was better to leave it to him, for the romantic endeavors and such.
He said he had reservations and play tickets in his shirt pocket for later on that night.
But what he needed now was some aspirin and a few moments of quiet respite.
So with a sigh he started snoring, and my romantic dreams were momentarily crushed.
I dearly love the man you know. But, do you think maybe I tried too much?

Forever Rider

Bleached bones of a fallen beast, Casting a shadow that points To the east, A cowboy rides out With a noose round his neck, Travelling north on a Perilous trek. The noose is a reminder That his life is not his, Not that he needs it To tell him the truth, He's atoning for sins Committed by him And the noose is just there For some proof. His horse pointing northwards, His spurs jab its flanks, It jumps on a journey It knows not to where, He has been advised If he gets where he must That he must handle all things With great care. Long weeks follow days, He ne'er stops for food, He feels neither hunger, Nor thirst or fatigue, His Horse is the same, Feeling neither hunger or pain, Though they travel on league After league. He stops on the brow Of a mountainous peak, To gain the bearings He felt he had lost. His eyes sweep the plains He travels in vain, Without ever revealing The cost. His life had been shortened For the most part by death, He had suffered For what he had done, His actions alone Had been the sole cause Of the loss of his wife And his son. And so for his torment He had been given a task, That he knew he must Always repeat, There was no respite And no task to be done And his journey would be Never complete. And so he rides on O'er the endless red plain, Destined as ever to Be all alone, And maybe one day His skull will be seen By another as abandoned Bleached bone....

Dialogue Between the Little Miss and the Angel Prince

The Little Miss:

kiss kiss your little miss
and she flies flies up into the skies
away away from troubles array
to love to love her angel prince above
to love to love Armando above

The Angel’s Reply to the Little Miss:

"there was a girl precious as gold
she was found by a prince and told
that life itself was getting bold
until he found her in the world

"and he kissed kissed his little miss
and they flew flew up into the blue
away away from troubles array...

"...to love and hold each other above"

Love Will Out

In February? Sun burn from looking up at the sky?
My Oh My… Yes, it’s so very nice and warm.
The trees are blooming and it warms my heart.
Even the groundhog came out, smiled, and looked around…
Six more weeks of this winter? The Best there’s been…
I’ll get out my Valentine trappings tomorrow at dawn.
Then I will go get our leaf blower and make it to blow…
Bubbles and Valentine hearts high in the air…everywhere…
When my Hubby reaches our home and walks in the door…
I’ll cover him in hearts full of love… with kisses galore…
Yes, I’ll show him my heart… As he walks in…
I’m sure… On Valentine’s Day our hearts will soar, again…

Happy Valentine’s Day to All and your Loves…

The Night Of The Grizzly

Story/poem My husband and I were invited to go on a camping trip. I being a city girl - it was a real trip for me. It was quiet late at night, we were on our camping site. Everybody had gone to bed. I was not used to the outdoors, so I was having trouble sleeping. Suddenly there was a loud noise outside. I knew there was trouble, even though I was inside. I heard someone get out of his tent. He came screaming. There's a bear, there's a bear. Please come out and see. I said I'm not going. I'll stay here until you kill that thing. Soon everybody went outside, carring riffles and everything they could find. The BEAR was going through a rampage, destroying everything in it's path. My husband had gone out with a gun in his hand, but someone else took the first shot. I was still inside not making a sound, when I heard the shot. I said to myself it's time to come out. I thought I would see the Bear dead, but to my shock the Bear had left. He took all our food and ran away. Someone said - did you see the size of that BEAR? Another guy said yes - it was a Grizzly. At hearing that, I think I fainted. Then I was glad I never saw it, but no one will ever forget the night the Grizzly came...

Cinco De Mayo

Packed a picnic for the middle of the night,
sandwiches, chocolet stawberrys , liqueur taste just right,
Smoke a lil sumthin to make us feel so light,
My baby sister here, we can never feel so tight,
One candle burning flickering just right,
Here with our loves, the moon shines so bight,

We walk through the trails, to stretch our legs and feel the air,
we get so spooked we run back feeling fear,
We laugh out loud to clear the air,
Enjoy this time from here to there,
Cinco de mayo is outa sight,

We love each other all so right.

The Freaks Come Out At Night

Written December 29, 2013

You don't see me
You see her silhouetted by the vapor
My hands all over
She's an introverted now and later

You can build a wall
Before you fall
But I'd give up
When the wall will fall
I'll be waiting here
Plein de plaisir

In your snatch fits pleasure
Broom-shaped pleasure, even better
Like politicians
Spilling oil on the wonderland

The sun will fall
The moon will rise, the freaks come out at night
Native tongues and foreign lands
Leave me handcuffed to the night stand

You can build a wall
Before you fall
But I'd give up
When the wall will fall
I'll be waiting here
Plein de plaisir

Lose Control

Let’s lose control
Let’s entice the soul,
With champagne swishes
Chilled in iced bowls.
From your head to your toes
Every nerve will explode,
Every body sensation
I’ve cracked nature’s code.
It’s not on paper
It’s what your face shows;
It tells me go fast
Then it tells me go slow,
Then blows my mind
Showing Lose control.
All exposed
The most radiant glow,
The most beautifulness thing
Ever let go.
Lose control
Feel safe…there’s no foes,
Only me…Let go…
Lover Lose Control.

COFFEE SPIRIT

What! Coffee can is empty He saw in the bin Earlier, It's aroma diffuses around the room Awake, but right on bed he rests So, it soothes. Early in the morning He likes to taste Inspiration flows afterward He thought: My coffee am sure is waiting for zips Activates the body and re-awakens the memory Fingers grip the pen and write tirelessly He chuckles As the sweet smell of the coffee continues... He could hear the clinging of wares from the kitchen Baby is ready for school, he guessed And coffee is there in the kettle He smiles Rhythmically, He walks and whistle to bath Freshen up then straight to dine Alas! Noodle past garnished with chillies and shrimps in plate Why? Coffee cup is deprived of content He gazed So, ...She drank the coffee he smelled She would be inspired instead He thought. Oh! What a regret He thought of coffee.

My Baby

You are my rock, The shelter of
my heart, The house that builds
me, on this white pearly, golden,
platform, with our father,
The Almighty, You are
the seed, planting me, In A
garden of full bloom, beyond
the growth of A flower, You are
my blanket, Of Southern
Comfort, That kept me warm,
Without you there's "NO
MEANING," to my LOVE, I
thank GOD, the day He put you
on this EARTH, and MADE you
MINE, My Baby you are that
precious gem, In my eyes, I
gleam shinning,TRUTH N' HONESY,
Never To Loose Sight,Never To
Make You Mad,or Never To Make
You Angry,Never To Make You Cry,
Never To Break Your Heart,
Never To Abuse, Nor Neglect,
You......
I only want to give, You A
GENUINE LIFE, AS YOUR WIFE,
AS YOU MY HUSBAND,
as we go hand n' hand to
begin, This conquest journey,
against the burning sun, to the
ends of the moon, "YES," we
will struggle, Even fight like,
The cats n' dogs, but what
relationship doesn't, it will only
make us stronger, or it may
even break us, but as we strive
to our best, forth each
other, To bond our passion,
in wed-lock,,,,,
Because loving you,
makes it all worth the wild
against the sand... I love you,
My Baby!!!

The Cougar

I'm only in my twenties, but I really love this girl.
She's all I ever think about. She's my baby, she's my world.
Most people are ignorant. Some people just need to chill.
They're jealous, how can they understand, if they're not feeling what I feel?
Most say it will never work, but here we do it everyday.
It's give and take, just like everything else. We work together and we play.
We have fun together, we hardly fight, and our interests are the same.
If that's not a good match, then please tell me what is! I think you're the one who's insane.
We make each other happy! Isn't that what love is about?
She makes me want to jump up and down. She makes me want to shout!
Whould it be different if I were older then her? How does that make it right?
Men can date younger girls, and nobody cares to fight?
Well I don't care, I'm in love, and I will fight for this to last.
She makes me feel on top of the world. I've never felt this in the past.
This woman is sexy all around, and she has a heart of gold.
She's wonderful, up and down, the greatest story I've ever told.
So when you go out on the hunt, I recommend getting a cougar in your sights!
The one I got has rocked my world, and made my future bright.

“Love me like nothing is holding you back”

he sets down his project

brown curls fall to her lower back
marking his favorite spot to kiss her
smelling of coconut and ocean winds

Rose Petals

Glowing and white, pure liquid flowing
My heart is expanding.
And I hear angels singing a song that fills my soul.
Rose petals are falling.

A slow steady walk, a gentle loping grace.
My smiling man in all black
So gorgeous. So perfect.
So mine.
My face is shining.
The angels are singing.
Rose petals are falling.

A steady warmth
So strong, and so deep
That gentle heat fills me to my core
And I find myself falling

Falling…Falling….falling.

Rose petals are falling.

Wigging Me Out

Early one morning my Hubby was sleepily shuffling around and about.
Dawn was almost breaking and we were becoming late no doubt.
Toiletries were a waiting, as he shuffled near the morning throne.
Opening the lid, you’ll never guess what exited as a rocket blown.
EEEWWW …Poor little thing… Oh Who, you will never guess…
Out popped a little tree frog jumping at mach 2 in his quest…
Yes, he was wet and doing his very best as he stuck to the vanity.
For who can say how long he’d been trapped in there, you see?
It puzzled me to wonder… How he’d got to the second floor?
Poor little guy… I doubt he could have withstood very much more.
Now here we were to scare him… Yes, another time, I confide…
We had to get him past 3 dogs awaiting for food and to go outside.
It wouldn’t have been so bad if 3 squirrels weren’t watching from the tree.
None might have been so eager, if they’d known he came from our potty.
My jammied hubby ran for the mulch pile where sticks and leaves abound…
As I entertained the squirrels and doggies with tempting morsels all around.

Now I can’t say it was traumatic to save a little wayward froggy…
But I won’t be opening that lid without a light, especially, if I am groggy.
And I’ll move back out of range as I lift the lid… I thank you all the same.
And next time I won’t forget to clean the toilet in a timely way, to my shame.
And I won’t ask my hubby to wash his hands 10 times daily… come next May.
Now I know you may not believe me… but I'll take an oath on this… I say.

Scary, Suspenseful

I grabbed my keys and stomped to the door.
I wasn’t listening to any more.
Why was he always so calm and RIGHT!!!!
I’d rather be out in the stormy night.
He spoke to me as I started to go.
“You can’t trust that car of yours you know.
Better take my keys and drive my truck.”
But I would rather trust to luck.
I spurned the offer of husband Jim,
Too mad to take a favor from him.
With ferocity, wind hit my face.
Debris blowing all over the place.
I almost turned to go back in
But I couldn’t bear to see him grin.
My car started as I turned the key.
It had been acting up sporadically.
I knew I shouldn’t be driving it.
I was just too angry to admit it.
"Drat it, I didn’t take my phone
Now I’m out here all alone."
I drove down the highway for an hour.
When the weather turned into something dour.
By now my anger was cooling off.
“I’d better go home, though I know he’ll scoff.”
It was snowing hard as I turned around.
And I was glad to be homeward bound.
I skidded a bit as I hit some ice.
The engine stalled and it was “no dice”
It wouldn’t start as hard as I tried.
I was so remorseful that I cried.
I was terrified when it wouldn’t go.
I couldn’t see any lights through the snow.
I’d met no cars for many a mile.
I knew I would be here for a while.
And then I remembered the horror tales
When a girl gets lost it never fails
That the one who would find her is a beast.
And that she is murdered is the least
That could happen to this hapless lass.
I looked for a weapon and found a glass.
I tried to break it with my shoe
But it was my shoe that broke in two.
Should I crawl into the trunk and hide?
Maybe he’ll not think to look inside.
Ted Bundy roamed around these parts,
With his evil deeds and some other upstarts,
Could be just as malevolent as was he
And it is very likely one could be
Waiting for such a dummy as I
Who raged out into a storm to die.
I saw a light behind me a while ago,
But it disappeared in the blinding snow.
Did it make a turn or is someone there?
I could feel the prickles from my hair
Rising out of my scalp with fear.
I know now that my fate is near.
Then I saw him a blurry face,
Scraping the window to clear a place.
I found the flashlight and turned it on him.
Oh thank you, Lord. It’s my husband Jim.
“You didn’t think I would let you go
Out into a storm all alone you know."
We got in the truck so nice and warm
And were soon safe from the winter storm.

A Sobering Moment

A most ordinary, a tad-bit hazy day,
Fishing from the pier, a black cat came my way.
A mere kitten she was, "was she wearing a hat?"
a man's blue top hat? a black, blue-eyed girl cat?

She sauntered on down and I could tell, this is odd.
I called out, "Here, kitty!" as I reeled in my rod.
I offered her a fish I was gonna throw back
"I don't eat fish!" she scowled, giving my catch a whack.

"Just, who you calling, Kitty?" she sneered in exhale,
"Watch this!" she attacked me, put her hat on the rail.
She took off in a huff, forgetting her prize
trotting into the sand as I blinked my eyes.

I went back to fishing but I watched that chapeau.
It changed colors three times, taking on a red glow
and floated on the ocean waves out of eye's reach
as I heard my wife calling from down the beach.

I gathered my gear, got up, somewhat less canned.
My wife claimed the red hat as it reached the land
jawing on about some ladies society,
or was she yakking about sobriety?

Step by Step

Yiddy awdy those ticks are here to stay.
Here and there but everywhere astray.

Tick tack I am going to laugh at that.
On the Moon or on the Sun I have sat.

Jump started or kick started my day has begun.
I’m holding a life of lifetimes on the go or run.

Yicky yacky just what is it that I am to do?
Run all over the galaxies in search of you?

Shucks you mucks, I’d do it all over again.
But from time to time you stop when I begin.

It’s a life of life’s bundling into one row.
Yet it is step by step in which it can grow.

Me without You

Me without you is a motionless sail boat,
A kid being out doors in the winter without a coat.
A basketball star without ever having any coach.
Can you picture trying to fly a plane with no engine?
A mother of three trying to feed her children with no kitchen?
Do you notice some of the things that are missing?
Baby you are a puzzle, with a piece missing.
Without the E in ME, is everything!
Nothing is complete if there is no YOU AND ME.
That is like trying to serve a turkey with no wings on Thanksgivings.
I am the key you turn in your ignition, I kindle your love intentions.
Oh, what sweet reminiscing, like a pastry treats with frosting.
I bet that put a smile on your face, like a kid winning his first race.
As I were your Hostess Twinkie and you were my creamed that filled me.
You are the only one that completes me, that how our love flow so swiftly.
As a little girl twirling around in her favorite dress, I think I will keep you because you fit me best.
There is no such thing as a Me without you, because simply no one could ever compare to you.
That is like a sneaker with no lace, you are surly to fall on your face.
But don’t worry I will be right there to catch you with grace.

The Dirt Gobblins

I always wondered where the dirt came from, cleaning had me in a rut.
I don’t allow shoes inside, and with air conditioning, I keep the windows shut.
My mother said it came from dirt goblins, they’re lovers of dirt and smut.
And Goblins love to play. Strewing dirt about, as around they strut.
They invite their friends, and then leave us with lint, fluff, and a dusty glut.
I finally put nightlights in the bedroom’s to keep them out, I’d had enough!

The dirt goblins come in from the outside, they live among the shadows.
They make their homes under the beds, behind boxes, or in the darkest hallows.
They track the dirt everywhere. Yesterday, I even found some candle tallow!
They follow your pet to gather their hair, the perfect nest to burrow.
If you aren’t quick at this point, with little dirt goblins you’ll be blessed tomorrow.
We don’t fight or make them mad. My husband handles them without sorrow.

My fearless husband invites them down to the friendly basement below.
He’s very good as he talks and becomes their friends, you know
They’re lonely and want to play, so he makes promises, to help them go.
Then he opens a box full of gifts, from the vacuum bag he bestows.
He tells them of the neighborhood, as he makes a map full of important info.
Then he releases them into the back yard, on this mission he quietly tiptoes.

Everyone wonders what he doing with the boxes in the yard he lays about.
He’s sneaking them out into the yard, with directions given to the goblin scout.
My house is becoming cleaner, as the goblins slowly continue to move out.
Pretty soon we’ll have the cleanest house in the neighborhood, throughout.
If they come back, we’ll send them to the other neighbors, as our gifts give us
clout.
And as for the boxes, beyond any doubt we’ll never let that secret out.

HOME

Never forget what you have
Your home is your haven and to let your hair down
The love of your home, its the place to be
With the love of all of your family
Home is truly where the heart is
Remember that the work day is done
Never bring home the toils from the day
Relax and have fun that is the way!
When you walk in the door you will see
The smiling faces of your family
Kiss them hello and have a good night
Be aware that the home you have worked so hard for
Is the place to rest and relax and say
I have done all I can for this day is done its with the
Family, wow I am sure gonna have some fun!

Fired Up

Fired Up

Suddenly slow, then frozen up…My heart began to pound.
My computer means so much to me. It’s my touch to the outside world.
Then my knight came in the door… determined my dragon to slay.
And let me tell you… as dragons go… he can slay anything.

Dragon fire can be hot, but this one was immensely worse.
Nothing at all seemed to work. This dragon was really strong.
Shield after shield fell from my knights’ grip…
But thank God… he never, ever gave up.

Night after night he fought with might and studied his foe with thought.
Each night he scanned every road… for where a lair could be stowed.
His sword swung with might nightly… erasing him from the land.
But still the dragon was able to come back breathing fire upon all at hand.

He knew how to open every back door. He was cleverer than any I had seen.
But steady as a rock my knight and prince… continued to protect my way of life.
Finally, one day, with four new shields and with Excalibur by his side…
The dragon's spawn was slayed one last time, then a miraculous silence remained…

My knight had sacrificed so much time and sleep… that I truly cried.
This dragon was from a far away land where more dragons are made with pride.
But my dear knight is willing to wait by my side… His shield and sword nearby.
Thank you I say with hugs and kisses… For my knight in shining armor, my life…

A Veiled Black Lace Hat

Clare's hands were clasped upon her lap,
upon her crown, a veiled black lace hat.
A shattered calm she wore;
that took on strength
self-steadied after several drinks

If one dared look closer, to penetrate -
then one would see through the black veil's lace,
and reveal a woman, blank of face,
that long ago had left this place.

Clasped hands
on which shine a
diamond ring
lustre lost,
as do those things
that shine, then dull.
A lover's token
which she pushed and pulled.

Parades of people floated past
condolences said and sent
as people slowly came and went.

Clare remained
with hands still clasped upon her lap
diamond dully staring back.

All had gone, as had he,
as Clare fell to her knees
face pale and pasty white
searching for that brilliant light
that never came.

Clare stumbled out into the night
guided by vodka and
lace veiled sight

alone again; Clare cried insane
until a large sum of money came
as did twice before
when on her finger
shone a diamond ring -
lustre lost - as do those things
that shine, then dull
that push, then pull

In her closet, near the back
waits a favorite
veiled black lace hat

Our QT Savior

In the cold of the morn with a crisp cloudy day…
A flat tire assailed a young girl, as she went on her way.
Young and full of life but definitely overwhelmed…
She was late for work and her husband had just nearly died.
She sat in her car, sniffling, worrying, and crying some wails.
She’d never changed a tire, a young husband always there.
But hurt he’d become, and in the hospital now remained…
It was up to her, suddenly alone, to make things right again.
She fretfully tried AAA but the wrong number was wrung…
Till Old Granny Goodness appeared with hope, and some fun.
She quickly got her out of the car, and found everything there.
Explaining what to do, Granny decided to entertain with flair.
Together they’d use a spare tire to fix that rickety old car.
They figured out the jack and successfully lifted the car.
But lug nuts are hard and need strength to unleash…
So granny fussed and she bug-tussled but never gave up
Till the young girl laughing, knew what she must do herself…
Grabbing deep into her courage, she ran into the QT for help.
Sure enough, a worker volunteered to help that sweet young thing out.
And the lug nuts came off lickety-split with laughter on top.
The young man was gracious, and ever so kind and…
Yes, he finished the job with his best smile and in record time
And of course he helped put everything away, too, you can bet…
He even helped Old Granny Goodness up off the ground where she sat.
Then with a salute and fare thee well, he went back inside…
While Old Granny Goodness, and the girl put air in the tires.
By now the girl was the lead in the work as she smiled and laughed…
She was empowered; you know… there’s nothing wrong with that.
Yes, the world was saved as all found their way home, with a wink, at last.
Yes, with gratitude, a hug, and a smile… many a way can be found again.

Making Onion Stew

Onions, delightful brutes, you mutter
I wipe a soaking eye,
pepper speckled beef shuddering in oil
your arms wafting closer, now further-
smelling tobacco, cinnamon,
a lick of salty neck, a buttery potato
tastes mingle. a tang of thyme between
nape and hair line
the beef was crisp, you turn it over
‘flip!’ you grin, the marble counter-top
icy cool under my slipping hands,
a sprinkle of turmeric trailing down a shoulder
down a back, a splotch of coconut milk
smudged, dappled with wild finger prints
star anise meandering, from blade to blade
trees silhouetted against cloudy, sunset skies,
petals and wings of pure blue unfolding
among branches, my lashes brush your bristles
a glisten trickles, off-key smile.

the onions shed their peels
cheek-smooth, mellifluous
near the kitchen sink, your fingers
peeled off all reticence,
another cheek caressed.
ravenous mouth crushes
a morello cherry
exploring seeds and teeth
savouring the yielding endocarp.
you eat in small mouthfuls
the warm batter, the lemon zest.

the onions! the onions,
we control the simmering flames,
crushed cloves, velvety coriander leaf-
taste, a spoonful, a finger tipful
here, I think this piece is done
you bite. mmm, more bites
hair gathered in a tight clutch
more bites. perfect roast
mustard seeds spluttering,
your thumbs fondles the fleshy petals
of the cardamom pod,
prying the secret savage garden inside
curry leaves twisting in the heat
arching back,
view of window, upside down
unruly curls on your devouring head
crimson indentations, possessive flags
marking territories, to be filled with marinade
lets mash the meat. knead in the garlic paste-
cream melting on a ravished tongue
hearts thumped in
non-rhyming decasyllables
water jug tittered, then cackled
fell face down, a clatter among
the sizzles, splutters and gasps
aroma misted trance eyes
pulsating up, up, clouding with stars.

we saw later, surfacing for air
night has slurped up all the blue
trees, a blacker black, rustling in the dark-
our onion stew was ready.

What is next

I have been looking for my dream car, 1971 Chevelle. Carrying out dreams and goals are not bad things at all. There is a positive on this. I have a very vivid mind and it goes to work from time to time. Thats a feeling. It is hard for Ek to remember things. How i Feel. Song. Everyone thinks people are there to help them but everyone is out for themselves not trying to help each other out. It is all a dream she would have done this and she would have done that but she did not reply. Where did the girls go was the questions asked by all the guys and then discussed by the girls as they drive off. You were drunk, rambling, and you ran them away. Pure 3-2718space240Dash Bravo. What is this you ask? You can put pure in front of anything and sell It.

Drinking from the Baby Bottle

Holidays come and holidays go, but the grocery store is a war zone.
You got to get there fast… or Honey you’re just plain out of luck!
My diabetic hubby drinks caffeine free diet soda and what luck…
You know the ones he takes to work... Only the little bottles are left…
I knew I was truly sunk when the 3rd store was just the same.
So as lunch came around, my manly man’s manly sized lunch came out.
But everyone became quiet and laughed as the baby sized bottle came out.
Everyone was laughing as my hubby drank it down.
Then he held it up and said “In your diapers” as everyone laughed around.
And to everyone’s surprise he pulled another one out from his lunch…
This time there was applause as he drank that sucker down.
Today was his day to entertain.
Tomorrow it’ll be someone else’s to claim.
Thank goodness his sense of humor… is worthy of acclaim…

Forever Your Man

I'm very outgoing, yeah I talk to some girls,
but you got to understand, you're the queen of my world.
Honey, If I had the money, I would glitter your life.
I'd buy you diamond rings and I would make you my wife.
It's true, you've put me through, I'm stuck to you like super glue.
I just wouldn't know what I'd do without you as my boo!
I stand grand in this land, with you at my hand.
How can I make you understand that I'm forever your man?
You're like the leader of the band and I'm your number one fan!
You're totally fine, you're fun, crazy, sexy, and cool.
So glad you're mine, the one, that makes the other boys drool.
When I think about the times I brought a tear to your eye,
It makes me break down and cry. Sometimes I wish I would die.
Girl, you are my Angel. You were sent from above.
You saved me from this hell and filled my life up with love.
Where we'll go from here on out is a mystery to me,
but I know I'll be all right with you, always, next to me!

The Crib

My friend said her little darling pulled himself up in his crib.
I told her she's lucky for mine’s older and can crawl back in.
But mine doesn’t like being lonely and brings another friend.
Not in my house I say… as he tries to sneak her up the stairs.
Friends with benefits he called it… as I sent him away to school.
Perhaps there at College they’ll teach that missing golden rule.

My hubby’s favorite crib is in the living room, at night, you see…
He relaxes with a blanket while watching late nighttime TV.
He says you can’t go to bed too early, for that is only for the old.
So I wake him up at midnight and that seems just right, I’m told.
But don’t think I’m complaining… For I’m surely not…
I fall asleep on the couch next to him before my show is out.
And when I usher him up to bed… I usher me up, too.
After all we’re not old folks… We can stay up late like you…

My father came to visit and met me nap per nap…
Now that really began to worry me… For I’m not that old yet!
When he heard me say it… He told me, “He’s not old at all”…
So I got him a lazy boy recliner, and he watches TV late, so bold.
Now I usher my hubby, me, and my father up to bed, late every night.
We all seem perfectly content to ignore all the years that we’ve got.
Why at midnight you may ask? …My excuse is the nighttime shows.
For you see... we seem to wake up as off the air they go.

Leaving Bruce

Feeling free as an uncaught Christmas goose,
I left on a Valentine's Day with a Dear Bruce
Letter and a tie. Wonder why he kept it for years.
There were tears I took his children, but when he
Finally found me, he threatened to cut me to pieces.

I drove in a blizzard from Tennesee to Colorado.
From my Dad and my friends I got a big Bravo.
I ran out of gas half way there. A policeman helped
Me as did my friends to get me the money. Not funny.
Had three kids, clothes, dog, cat and a bird. Absurb!

Two months later at work I found my true love.
Must have been Heaven sent from our Lord above.
For he didn't date women with kids and I had three.
He raised them after three years dating-God bless thee.
Now we have grandchildren, five of them, one adopted.

He's opted to call my son Dad, as does my son calls Larry.
When I first met him, his face was handsome and hairy.
To him, the three kids were scary, but all came to be.
And now we are all one healthy and happy family.
As it's now white, Larry's shaved off his beard.

Scared Clean

Scared Clean

A gentleman wanting to scare
His wife, started out getting quite bare
Climbed into the machine
That got his clothes clean
To wait for his wife to get there

When his wife finally opened the lid
Of the washing machine in which he hid
She was really surprised
By the look in his eyes
And not because of something he did

You see, curled up, this man with no clothes
His muscles and joints simply froze
In spite of his tussle
Could not budge a muscle
No matter the movement he chose

The wife had to call 911
To get her poor husband undone
As they tried not to laugh
With an olive oil bath
His freedom he finally one

And just what did we learn from this man?
It is something you must understand.
Don’t wedge yourself in
In a laundry bin
Just because you think you can

And even within you own house
Playing hide and seek with your own spouse
If scared’s what you’re after
And not just her laughter
Getting naked I would not espouse

Uncle Mike

OUR FIRSTS

I love experiencing all our firsts,
The first time you walked me to my car,
underneath the shiny stars.
 mmmm our first kiss,
And how I couldn't wait 2 taste your lips.
The first time we made love,
so confident and equipt.
Never took our time for granted,
we were thankful for this gift.
The first time you stayed till morning,
had me taken by surprise.
To wake with this hansom man,
was all worth my wild.
The first time we had a fight,
And saw who we really are,
We still made the decision to love each other,
till death do us part.
The first year of first holidays,
we spent building what we have.
To turn our loved ones into family,
And continue on our path.
The times we feel were worlds apart,
you'll always have my heart.
And now to have you in our lives forever's just the start.

Live In My Heart

Live in my heart
And possess my soul,
Adding chapters to lover`s tales never told.
Many could preach about
How tight they hold,
But this I see till the time we`re old.

Live in my heart
Where true love lies,
Where embracement and kisses
At once hypnotize.
My thoughts your thoughts
At one in twine,
Lips to lips
But both hard to find.

Live in my heart
And you`ll see my love,
True love...a sweet love,
Is what I have for you
And only you my love.

Dream Catcher

When the light of the sun begins to fall Echoes of thoughts begin to ball Drifting into a sleepless state Possibilities grow, at a relentless rate I open my mind, in a wonderland of no validity Emphasized by a walk, through a mirror of fluidity Children's laughter in a sadistic tone This dream is a nightmare, far from home The path I am walking........leads to a house Beyond the door, I wish for my friend, my lover and spouse As the door creaks open a figure is revealed I brace myself, my numbness is my shield A wrinkled hand reaches out from the black It grabs my wrist, leaving no time to fight back As I'm dragged into the darkness, the figure becomes clear The face of my victim, my deepest fear

Bradlee Joe Rasmussen

Bradlee Joe is mine, he's always been mine,
The younger brother of David Authur Rasmussen Jr.,
Those gorgeous brown eyes staring at me, natural hair color,
That's brown; just like his brothers, but he dyed it blonde.<3
That gorgeous angel face, I think of him everyday all day, think of,
Those memories, that smile, that laugh, that voice, those strong arms,
The strong arms that hold me, just like his brother used to.
The sweet things he says to me, those precious eyes look into,
Into mine, the way he runs his fingers through my hair, the way he tickles me,
The way we play wrestle, the way we talk, the way we look at each other.
Eyes full of wonder, wonder how long we'll stay together, then he says,
He says "Baby we'll stay forever", and I believe every word he says,
My God if he only knew, knew how he makes my heart pound, the way,
The way it's just so easy to talk to him, man I can tell him anything, and I know,
I know that he'll keep it a secret, that's why I trust him with everything,
Everything inside of me. Everytime he asks me if I wanna start,
Start over with him, I always say yes, because I love him!!
No matter how much he hurts, I'll always love him, I do, because,
Because I know it's real, I love him with everything inside of me,
I want to wake up next to him everymorning and fall asleep,
Fall asleep in his arms everynight, say "I do" to him, have his,
Have his children, be in love forever, my God I've never felt this way before.
I fell for him the first moment I saw his gorgeous smile light,
Up that dark lunch room, the way you hugged me tight, exchanged,
Exchanged numbers with each other, and the way we talked on the phone for hours on end,
Oh how I wished for you to be mine, How I still wish to change,
Change my name to Briana Lynn Rasmussen.
Babe I can't inagine a world where you don't exsist, babe without you,
Without you I'd honestly die.
The son of David Authur Rasmussen Sr. and Sandi Rasmussen,
The brother of David Authur Rasmussen Jr, and Cheyeene Rasmussen,
The cousin of Kenneth Michael Hampton, better known as Mikey :) You have
Have a older bro, a younger sister & brother, and you have you,
Father's eyes, your brother's strength, your mother's beauty, and your crazy,
Crazy sense of humor.
With you I can't stop smiling, laughing and giggling.
Babe I am finally home, it's been a long time, and I am glad you kept the bed warm for me,
My home is with you, it's the only place where I belong, and babe I am so glad to be home.
I love your curly hair, I love the way you hold me, the way you kiss me, the way yoy,
You love me.
I love everything you do, and everything about you,
Babe I really do hope that day comes where we say "I do."
Hell I'd do it right now if I could, if you wanted me the same.
I want to be the mother of your children, I want to be the on;y woman you come home to,
Come home to after work, the one you give sweet kisses to, and the one you tell,
Tell me about your day, the one who wants to fall asleep in your arms, and
Wake up in your arms with my head on your chest, see your sweet smile everyday,
Hear the words "Good Morning Baby, how'd you sleep?"
I'd reply sleepily "Great, how bout you Angel?" I love everything about you, everything
Everything you say, babe I love the fire in your eyes, the way you are protective over me,
The way you fight for me.
Babe I just wanna be your forever, and when we die baby,
I want to be laidto rest next to you, or with you in the same casket, because,
Because I'm only me when I'm with you, you are the only one who keeps me warm, The only one
Only one who makes me feel like I am home, like I'm finally alive,
Like I'm finally me, babe you are my better half and really honestly,
I've been so lost without you, and I am so glad to be back home.

Our Wedding

Our wedding was filled with our colors of choice

We selected individuals to lift their voice

To sing songs of unity and songs of love

Knowing our day was ordained from above

We said I do and started our new lives

With you as my husband and me as your wife

Our little boy was ring bearer, you see

The three of us together, in unity

We chose the bentley for a ride, with glee

It was a sign of our living life...abundantly

Joy Is By Far The Way To Be Good

Journey across
Oblivion's gate
Your soul is what lies in wait.

If you accept my challenge you must
Succeed in traveling through Oblivion completely.

But if you fail it is
Your wife's soul I will take.

Far past the entrance to the
Afterlife must you go.
Rely on nothing-trust no one. All here is meant to keep you here.

The halfway point has come and gone. From
Here on out your journey gets
Easier.

Wind your way past this last obstacle
And
You'll have reached the end.

To journey your way through
Oblivion complete has not yet been done...

Bring yourself to me, clever man, and
Everything I have done with be undone.

Goodbye, Traveler. May your journey through
Oblivion have strengthened your soul, and taught you what most men
Often cannot learn.
Death did not touch you here, and you leave here with my blessing.

AN EMBRACE TO REMEMBER

I was wondering how it happened,
That we were in the wrong place at the wrong time.
We had gone there without thinking of anything but love,
Love so true, so deep, so fine.

We had gone to the hotel the night before,
She was to be my true and only one.
We embraced each other that night as husband and wife,
And planned to continue until the rising sun.

I had prepared it well, at least I thought,
A great dinner, show, and then Champaigne.
She added her own personal touch for me,
A hot, slinky, pink, see-thru negligee.

Oh, I was aroused, to say the least,
The Champaigne wasn't the only thing to pop!
Then, in the midst of our doing as lovers do,
We lost our focus and had to stop.

Something was amiss there in the night,
Just what I could not tell.
Her countenance changed so rapidly,
From tender lover... to demon from hell.

In a funny way I felt so strange,
I knew she had felt it too.
But the testosterone in me just had to ask,
"Did the Earth Move for You?"

She looked at me with mouth agape,
"How could you ever ask that of me?
When we are alone on our honeymoon,
Thousands of miles from home, here in Chile."

"Of course the earth moved for me,
Do you think I have no feelings at all?"
"Of course you do!", said I in sheepish reply,
"Did you hear something coming from the hall?"

We both got dressed quickly then,
And we bolted for the door.
As the earth had moved for everyone,
The shaking was coming from the floor.

I had never experienced an earthquake you see,
So my natural thought was that it was me.
But when that building started to shake,
I had to take it more seriously.

We got to the street just in time,
As the hotel fell into a heap.
Yet there I was with only the clothes on my back,
And a newlywed bride...I guess I would keep.

"Did the Earth Move for You?"

The Life She Has Always Wanted

There’s a girl, sitting at the back of the bar.
Waiting for a glimpse of the life that she’s always wanted.
She’s not looking for a fairy tale or gold.
Just a little work, and some love not from the usual mold.
He walks in with promises, ending in heartbreak and tears.
She drowns him out slowly, with new dreams and a few beers.
The girl sitting at the back of the bar.
Waiting for a glimpse of the life she’s always wanted.
Two years have passed, not much has changed.
She still comes each week to sit at her corner table.
Some work, many dreams, and a few beers become her label.
The women all judge her inside their private mind.
Small town men buy her a drink, wink and smile, but aren’t her kind.
The girl sitting at the back of the bar.
Waiting for a glimpse of the life she has always wanted.
She has big dreams of life, love, and the woman that she wants to be.
I sit across the bar, wishing she’d look just once more to me.
I turned my back, messed up not long ago.
She told me that she loved me, but she had to go.
I failed to show her my love, I’d hurt her badly.
Breaking her heart blindly, while loving her madly.
That girl sitting at the back of the bar.
Waiting for a glimpse of the life that she has always wanted.
Pulling the ring from my pocket, my jaw stubbornly clenching.
I push through the crowded room, and voice my intention.
Dear Beth, I will love you forever. I’m down on my knees!
Just give me one last chance, and marry me please.
That was two years ago yesterday.
And still my love grows more every day.
For the girl sitting at the back of the bar.
Waiting for a glimpse of the life she has always wanted.
As I nod and thank the bar tender, and add to his tips.
I pick up two drinks, turn to the back of the bar, a smile on my lips.
Cause there is my girl, sitting at the back of the bar.
Living the dreams of the life that she’s always wanted.

                                                                                       Summer Gratias

New Beginning

Introduction: It’s a piece dedicated to the lullaby of a different kind. It’s something which has happened to many out there, but the experience is distinctively significant…

A priceless surprise, silenced all in its tune By a soft heavenly cry, from the delivery room Only a few hours was the night; so young Where for the first time, she opened her eyes, While by her side her dearly loved one For the last time, closed her teary eyes Father held her near and resounded to her cry; But all mother could share was, this lullaby – The long last beep from the ECG Echoed her heartbeat…The last goodbye Happiness and sadness broke through the night With streams of tears for mother’s plight; She never had the chance to hold her close But left precious prayers that never left her side As she came down to their hearts Her soul flew up high apart, The transfer of two lives through one, Their journey was complete and done Caught within that reverie He conveyed the Azaan through her ears, In the wake of such irony He fell down to prostrate in tears When all hopes seemed to end, father’s prayer did transcend O’ Almighty became her closest friend and had for her a Grande plan, Under HIS mercy and HIS guide, she flourished through the darkest nights To a new beginning – she set off to write.

NOT THE JEALOUS TYPE

Henry called his wife from a crowded bar,
and with the sweetest tone told her,
" Honey, I have to work overtime tonight...
don't stay up late and turn off the light. "

Jane responded with worry in her voice and caressing her hair,
"Eat your dessert and drink all of the coffee and try to stay awake;
when coming home, don't speed...slow down by the frozen lake! "
" One more thing, don't leave your cell phone in the locker! "

" Okay, sweetheart...I'll be fine and I'll drive safely. "
Then he hung up and continued the conversation with Lily...
the pretty bartender who stared at him and burst into laughter
saying, " Your wife believes you? Won't she check your pay stub after? "

Henry replied, " No, she won't!" Then laughing remarked," She's too trustworthy...
not suspecting I am cheating on her, she's not the jealous type as you are Lily. "

A Special World

A special world for you and me
A special bond one cannot see
It wraps us up in its cocoon
And holds us fiercely in its womb.

Its fingers spread like fine spun gold
Gently nestling us to the fold
Like silken thread it holds us fast
Bonds like this are meant to last.

And though at times a thread may break
A new one forms in its wake
To bind us closer and keep us strong
In a special world, where we belong.

She flew in on a Sunday

She came to me.
Moving inside the winds of change and I saw her.

Opening my eyes wider than wide,
a newness washes over me
as though the previous years just melted away,
into something more, something real.

Stumbling, the floor opens beneath me and,
I'm falling
faster
further
unaware of my directions, I fly to her.

Fear only exist in her absense therefore,
I must clothe myself in robes of her spirit.
Her lips full, fill my daydreams,
Her eyes consume my nights.
The chess game of 10 years prior seem like an unessential waste of time
Yet, it marks our story,
traces our land,
flavors our history
Without it, she would be another's,
and I,
would be caught in the wind of something else.

Something loud and noisy,
empty of spirit,
closed to her and everyone else,
flying in circles,
lost in living
without love,
without passion,
without life.

Why i fight for this country

It’s foggy
I see people in the background
Running back and forth
But I can't make out who they are

I walk closer to see who they are
It looks like a girl
I get closer, she starts to run
Time for the chase, a chase to see who it is

I see a house, she runs inside
It’s a big blue house with a large front yard and a white picket fence
I knock on the door to see if anyone’s home
I walk in and in the house the fog has followed me in

I hear creaking foot steps coming from upstairs
I slowly walk up and stare at the wall
Its picture of me with an unknown family
A son, 2 daughters and a beautiful wife

I’m standing in the background in my navy whites
Where is this place, who are those persons?
Whose house is this?
Where are all the people?

I make it up stairs and see the children’s room.
Daughters. It looks like twins, twins sleeping in the room all tucked in
The fog is slowly clearing, I’m getting confused
What life if this, whose shoes are these?

I walk further down the hall,
The next room is his.
The son in the picture,
Full of trophies and figs.

He looks like a sports jock
How many trophies he has
He’s sleeping with his shirt off
But still tucked in like a kid

I say good night
And slowly close the door
I feel this is natural
As I see his night light turn on.

I continue with my journey
With every step the fog clears
I see the master bedroom
And take a peek whose inside

I see a women, her back is turned
The women in the photo but can make out her face.
I can hear her laugh
My heart it pumping
She says to me "you’re finally home!"

Sounds like an angel sing
Who is this woman, what is this feeling?
She has her faced turned to her shoulder, like she wants to speak
Still can’t make out her face, its very mystique.

I walk closer, I see her ring
Could this be the love of my life?
I get a little closer to see who she is
I trip and fall down 8 feet into the rhib

I’m on a small boat in the water splashing.
Was I dreaming, or did that happen?

It’s the life I dreamed,
What I wish I had.
I fight for this country
So everyone else can have

The dream that I wished for
Everyday I wake
I gave up my dream
So the whole world can take it.

Soul Of A Stripper, Life Of A Housewife

The music thumps, the walls jump
She pole dances against the jamb
Dust rag in her right
Polish in her left hand

House is hers for a few hours
To fulfill a fantasy
Bump and grind it babe
The vacumn whiiiirrrs away

Shake that booty, strut that stuff
Transfer clothes in washer to dryer
Wearing faded blue jeans
Kick that leg up higher

Beds are made, bunnies dusted
She cat walks looking demure
Practises a sultry pout
Wiping spots from the mirror

Work the shoulders, drop to a deep squat
Then stick the tush up in the air
Family is due home very soon
Straighten her clothing with care

Greet the kids with hugs, husband with kisses
Getting dinner to the table
While news plays in the background
Her life is happy, solid and stable

Dishes washed, kids off to sleep
Taking my husband by the hand
This housewife leads him to our room
Where her stripper soul takes command

Setting up House

I met a woman, fell in love
She was a gift from above
Soon she became my spouse
We gathered things and set up house.

Some things were new without a flaw
Some were hand me downs from Ma and Paw
For some we saved nickels in a can
Some were bought on the installment plan.

Children came – a total of four
Two boys – two girls- no need for more
We managed to provide room and board
Did the best we could afford.

We moved around from house to house
On an adventure – me and my spouse
Gathering things to which we would cling
But we rarely got rid of anything.

Tables, chairs, couches, and beds
Cabinets and shelves taller than our heads
Mugs, pictures, and bells we did collect
Mementoes and heirlooms on which to reflect.

A man gathers a lot in over fifty years
And remembers many of them with tears
Many a thing still fills my house
But it’s not a home without my spouse.

She has a room in a retirement home
Care is provided and she cannot roam
I dreamed one day we would be old timers
But I never figured on Alzheimer’s.

Now I have a house full of stuff
Too many things - more than enough
The time has come to downsize
To an apartment in the high rise.

My children came one by one
Went through my stuff until they were done
One takes this and another takes that
And managed to do so without a spat.

Giving things away is a lonely task
My irritability I cannot mask
Gathering things with my spouse
Was more fun than cleaning out house.

A Walk To Remember

I met you on that hot summer day,
We were walking by the bay.
You had a gleam in your eye,
I knew then, you were thee guy.
I called you first,
I was so nervous, I almost burst.
We would make small talk,
And hold hands as we went on walks.
I could hear the beating of my heart,
Hoping that we would never part.
My hands would start to sweat,
In my heart, is where you crept.
I was so in love with you,
I could feel it, I just knew.
You loved me back,
Our lives joined together was no act.
We had so much fun,
Everything together we've done.
We would stare into eachother's eyes,
Promising to never say Good-bye.
A couple years went past,
I knew our love would last.
We would always smile,
Our love was no denile.
Then that day came,
The gleam in your eyes was still the same.
You took me to the beach,
Asked me to have a seat.
In your pocket, your hand went,
Then you told the story how we met.
You bent down on one knee,
"Will you be my wife?" You asked me.
I started to cry and answered "YES!"
You held me in your gentle caress.
Six months later, we were married,
In our new home, I was carried.
You laid me on the bed,
"I love you forever." You had said.
We made love that night,
Everything was so perfectly right.
I cuddled close to you,
I then told you, "I love you too."
Days went by, and I was with child,
Your cell phone I then dialed.
I told you that you're gonna be a Daddy.
You jumped for joy, you were so happy.
Then, the day came about,
We had a couple names picked out.
I started to feel real improper,
So you took me to the Doctor.
I was in labor,
Every moment you savored.
I gave birth to our healthy, handsome son.
With him, we were joined as one.
We have a loving family,
Living together happily.
We will always be together,
We promised eachother FOREVER.

NIGHT OF BULLY (1)

The day was of spring,
Very warm and damp
The sun shone fitfully
A day that harbors with it brightness

It was a night that carries no signal
Owl was not in sight
Neither was its voice heard
But it was a night of the owl

It speaks ominous dialect
Utterly different from the day’s language
Its parlance we could not understand
It was a night of bully.

Save a Lot West Virginia

I was sent to the store by my wife.
This was a part of my new life.
This little shopping trip for my wife,
Did not really cause me much strife,
If some new, then laughter would be rife.
Chocolate bars bought, to be cut with a knife.
Female items, I walked whistling like a fife.
Strangest trip to Save a Lot, I ever made in life.

SUNSET OF THE DAY

Sunset starts with colors of vivid bright Gold
Striking up the kaleidescope of colors of the blue, red, orange as it settles
Striking up awe for all to see, the bright clear color of oranges and reds and hues of blue
The magical vibrant colors of gold, red and blue of a day almost gone by
Watch as the sun goes behind us for the day, The rainbow of colors making our day

Marie III--Is the Coffin Too Deep

So frigid was her immaculate body Her last second in screams is all I can see Love's revenge was my guilt With you I'd rather let you die with Bound hands Without you, Marie, like the psychopath's dream Death is all that I can see; All that could redeem Did anyone ask Did anyone recall The sweet taste of the poison The swift slash of the knife he penetration of the lead The pain of her decaying heart I can hear it's bellowing cries But why can't you, Marie, Hear my paranoid eulogies Is the coffin too deep? Was it so hard to solve Was it so hard to see That I strangled her so easily My nails piercing her comely skin Blood dripping like the pomegranate I crushed with the shovel I shattered her shins The knife to slight her wrists Didn't you see I did it all The only witness Couldn't say Is the coffin too deep? The pain of her decaying hear tI can hear it's bellowing cries But why can't you, Marie, Hear my paranoid eulogies Is the coffin too deep? Marie I cant stay Earth is to cruel when your coffin is to deep Forever in death and in death alone The pain of her decaying heart I can hear it's bellowing cries But why can't you, Marie, Hear my paranoid eulogies Is the coffin too deep?

Beware of the man

(In a tiny wooden cabin,
One doesn’t say “have” but “haben”.
No one is there to speak
The husband and doctor,
Are both appropriately meek.)

Solely the doctor at her side,
The husband has left and gone outside.
Appropriate fear for his darling wife,
Or just to escape for a blissful second,
From another disappointment in life,
In which his wife dies because she is pregnant.

From the very depths of her soul,
She desires a baby which has
A functioning body and is normal,
And whole.

Her screams rush out of her,
Like water from a fountain,
Piercing the walls of the cabin,
And bouncing of mountains.
She begs for a healthy baby boy,
Her darling, her sweetheart,
Her pride and joy.

Eight hours, she pushes and heaves,
Tears mingling with sweat and saliva,
It would not come out, just like the others,
The doctor would be the only survivor.
For the father had fled, already bereaved.

Pregnant with the dream of motherhood,
She grew inexorably tired, no food and
No drink has passed her lips. She cares not,
For the beat of her pulse but only for the baby,
Unborn. Tearing her to bits,

One more push and again and again,
Agony shines from the centre of her face.
She had already made plans
For the babies’ living space,
But it does not seem probable,
She will ever see her baby's face,
Nor would it feel the warmth
Of her comforting embrace.

She broke the wings of destiny,
Desire and will and love for
Her last shot at the meaning of her being,
Fulfilled this time, she knew
With all her heart. A tear of joy
Ran down her cheek,
As if running from the truth.
“Frau Hitler you have a beautiful baby boy”.

Cowboy

So strong and self assured
He rides alone always wanting more
Never satisfied with what's between those fences
His spirit will wake up your wildest senses

By the cross and thorns that is emblazoned on his arm
His substance runs deeper than his cowboy charm
A tame Christian man with a spirit wild
A man of God, he is your child

His reckless nature will never subside
Yet humble he still has his foolish pride
His heart is bigger than the tallest mountain high
And you feel weak when you look into his eyes

His hands so rough yet so soft to touch
For him no ride is ever too much
He welcomes the mystery that comes in the night
A lover at heart born ready to fight

The complexity of this cowboy man
Every woman dreams with him she would stand
Alone, looking at the midnight moon
In her dreams, she whispers...sometime soon

End of the line
For it is directly time
That we will be
Just you and me
The way God has sent
You know we were meant
That we should always live
And always give
The way we see
And it will be
Together forever
Through all we will endeavor
Our hearts are one
And will not be undone
Will not separate
In this time not ever irate
But hand In hand
Listen to the band
I always long
That they play our song
Across the threshold I will carry
Directly after I marry
And make you my wife
For the rest of my life
The beginning of the line
Forever through all of time

THE POSSESSIONS OF A YOUNGER AGE

Every boy has his toys,
and each girl her dolls;
and as they grow they are put away where light can't enter:
there in that closet, which often memory recalls
how delightful and merry their days were,
but wishing for a return is a constant, useless prayer...

Everyone once had the possessions of a younger age,
some were precious and memorable, others simply painful and vacant;
and who can remember being hugged and truly loved by all?
Many still reminisce the sad thought of having been offered none at all,
and how they longed to have felt a little, sweet taste!
Nobody desired that more than I did, and only mother provided that!

Blue-bells seemed blither than I.. colored flowers that have no feel,
no soul to express their joy or sorrow, had I become like them?
Larks and mockingbirds weren't as malcontent as I was indeed;
all they wished for was some rain and the quietest place to rest!
Oh, how much sympathy I felt...with no one loving them, but their Creator;
and my circumstances affirmed how true that really was for me to declare!

An evil doer can be a father, who denies his children profound affection;
malice or thoughtlessness scars the hearts of the tender ones,
to become a malady or blight that leaves many fragments of broken lives;
and shouldn't someone grab them by the scruff of their necks,
and put some sense into them when they intentionally induce pain?
This snarl...rebelled at such atrocity, although no slaps could prevent those tries!

Husbands love your wives devotedly,
mistresses are the cause of your adultery;
would the faithful ones pursue an extramarital affair?
And what are the consequences of your sin and surliness?
A curse from God for many generations,
to deny your little ones the possessions of a younger age!

Waiting...

Waiting... By: Candice

He listens in the dark at the warfare in the distance.

With each passing day his heart grows colder.

His passion for violence grows immensely

and the remnants of his " once was life" are no longer fresh in his mind.

Gunfire and roadside bombs were now a part of his everyday life.

He''d give anything to be at home, warming a bottle for a midnight feeding,

or preparing to change a diaper who had been a victim of a disastrous explosion.

He smiles to himself thinking of his new baby boy

and prays to God that he will return home safely to hold the precious miracle of life

that he had not yet laid eyes or hands on.

He tightly closes his eyes to hold back the threat of oncoming tears.

Images of a deadly blast just days before crowd his mind,

He begins to weep.

This war torn life would affect him for all eternity.

He was in fact, a victim of war.

He would never know another restful night.

Rest doesn''t come easy for a man who has seen men blown to pieces by bombs and lifeless
on the terrain.

However the disaster of a lost life somehow brings him strength to drudge through another day.

He takes out the crumpled birth announcement.,

reads the print and gently tucks it away.

He had never known such an emptiness.

Everyday he waits.

For what he is not sure.

He just prays in the end, it will have been worth it.

THE SNOWY CLIFFS WITH BOUFFANT BOULDERS

Even before the arrival of the first snows, so brilliantly candid,
we climbed mounts less dangerous than the Alps's;
and we proudly chalked it up to our experience.
Now the snowy cliffs with bouffant boulders,
have lost their captious and so beatific image,
and quite too often we got pinched by burdock,
distracted by the robins chattering on a coarse descent;
I champed on crisp strawberries, while he challenged his strength.

My buddy never castigated me for my bizarre behavior,
and I admired him for displaying humor without repulsion,
or retort, and with chisel and hammer we engraved faces of historic men
on the smoothest rocks which were replete with their handsomeness.
Those adventurous afternoons are repealed when we look up,
and recreate them through our Male Chauvinism, cheery not dumb;
we felt like cave men making rudimentary drawings of their hunted animals,
while their women picked wild chicory for an early dinner.

Chums we were, resembling cowboys with wide hats in a chiaroscuro,
drinking in a bar filled with fashionable ladies frolicking and saying hello;
and chili con carne we ate, and plenty of beers to wash it down.
After our money was all squandered, our pockets were empty and we felt alone,
dazed...wobbling with fear, afraid to face our witless wives at home;
we were two idiots wooing empathy and some undeserving love.
And didn't they seem two witches ready for vengeance in their frown,
trying to squeeze the truth out of our silent and pretentious mouths too fulsome?

Frost will bring winter soon, and the snowy cliffs with bouffant boulders will be covered,
our hair have turned almost white to match the bright color of the deep snows,
as this river is freezing up, to become a sheet of ice, where no boats or barges pass;
and we play chess, the intramural game of a confined life, without those clandestine affairs.
Our darlings approve with sweet intonation, intensifying their affection so amorous;
and we embrace them with that tenderness that they have long desired...
staring at the snowy cliffs with bouffant boulders that these two climbers made their own,
remembering the cold and the shivering...coming down to a valley of comfort and domain.

1 Asterisk*

An officer in his car patrolling the streets
Protecting the city while it sleeps
But be advised, there is one
Whose deviant acts are never done

Do not think they cannot see
The treasures that belong to the loved ones of thee
They wait for the most unexpected time
To carry out their egotistical crime

Then comes a loud bang that brings you sheer fright
You are asleep at home, in the middle of the night!
You are scared and you wonder ‘What is there to do?’
Call that lone officer, he will come to you

When the officer arrives, the criminal is concealed
But this is the specialty in the officer’s field
He makes sure that the citizen is safe and secure
And to make sure no injury or trauma was endured

The officer calls for backup, but none is en route
For a moment this causes confusion and doubt
He begins a clean sweep of the building alone
With no radio, partner or a cellular phone

Suddenly a shadow in front of him appears
He draws his weapon and draws the criminal to tears
After arresting the criminal and doing a frisk
The officer realizes there truly is, ‘One asterisk’

Blood, again

blood again
-
The two hovering faces are white and brown.
They seem to look nice, saying, “we’re in your side.”
She aches; both her sides ache; bruises, clotted blood;
She sees them, two men with the force; denies to complain.
The trust has been lying killed, somewhere in her den.

Discharge means returning home, to the fear’s room,
where he may return for tearing her more.
But she won’t dial for force, at least not before
she has put six inanimate hates into him;
not before she has seen blood once again, not hers.

A Magic Rose

I stare at a rose on a vine
It is red as wine,
Looks so peacefully, and just sits there like it stares back
I touch the rose
It sends a magic signal to inside my whole body
The rose pulls my body into a deep trance
Somehow I know I need to pull my hand back
The trance that I'm in is stronger than my power
Then, I see these two images like people
A man, and a woman
Laughing, and talking
Even though I can't see a clear vision of who they are
The woman sound like me
The man sounds like my husband
I close my eyes and try to get a better vision
Then, open them
I see my husband and I
But how could this be?
My husband is dead!
A voice echoes through me and the trance
I can't make the voice out to understand what it is trying to say to me
I train my mind to get a better hearing of the voice
Every minute is coming clearer
Finally I heard and understood
This is a re-run of my husband and I on our first date
Finally I realized what was happening
The rose is a magic rose
People who touches this rose, send them back through time
It was never in my mind
That has my husband gave me a sign?
Could it be explained?
Or was it maybe the rose bring back good memories and replace them from bad
ones?
Who knows?
It's a mystery.
I finally came out of the trance
I was feeling fine now
better than I was before
I will always remember that rose on vine,
Whenever I need comfort, I can come to that magic rose!

This is How My Life Feels at My Age

Just got back from the movies,
Date night it was my choosing,
I love these nights with my man,
He's the best friend I've ever had

Job hunting seems to be a joke,
Almost as if CEO's rob their companies to snort more coke,
Politics irritate me, they'll never make sense,
If they kept things simple, it'd be less tense

See my bestie twice a month,
for an hour, sometimes four,
Always want it to keep going,
Reality doesn't allow time for more,

Come home to the house I bought two years ago,
Sense of pride we've survived everything,
Even when times are hard, it's love that gets you through,
It's what I do everyday that I love to do

I dream of a child, but time will work that out,
Got my doggies, they get what I'm all about
Much to look forward , Much I need to do

Important is exercise and eating the right food,
Fuel for your destination,
Sometimes it's hard to avoid temptation,
Eating well always keeps up the mood!

Music, writing, drawing, being creative,
Seems in our society to be kind of native,
You can go to school for this but what's the point,
Life experience is more vital and helpful tool is the joint,

This my life at my age,
Wont tell how old,
At this point interesting enough,
You didn't want to turn the page

I thought she was lost
I did not know at what cost
She did not want me
So she let me be free
But now I have no more fear
For now she has returned here
Do I really know to see?
That she really does need and want me
For now I will think and just sit
This is her chance to prove it
I will truly be very strong
And she must show me that I was wrong
Should I let go of the slack
She must show me she wants me back
Will she really come and show
If so my heart will have such a glow
As the sun is so hot and bright in the sky
I will lose all my fears and know why
I want to hold her so bad
And by doing so I will never again be sad
All my love I will give to her now
The amount she will never know how
We will make love for the first time
It will be so exciting and so extremely fine
I hope she will want me forever
If to be we will always be together
We will have to be till the end
This is the best time we can begin

Princess

The Princess in her tower tall
With oaken door and granite wall
Sat sobbing at the window high
“Will someone save me” she did sigh
“Fear not young maid,“ a voice did shout
“For I am here, to get you out;
I have a cunning plan, so sly
To free you from your tower high
I’ll dress as does a man who’s poor
Then knock upon the outer door
And when the guard doth then unlock
I’ll beat his head in with this rock”
“Kind Prince” she said from up above
“You’re someone, I could truly love
But your attempt will be in vain
To rescue me you’ll need a crane
Although your planning may seem sound
I weigh three hundred and twenty pounds”
The prince then pondered hard and long
And wondered where he’d gone so wrong
He yearned to be a Royal hubby
But not to one who’s quite so chubby.

Once Upon a nightmare

As I close my eyes I linger slowly to sleep.
As I fall into this world of dreams.
I see you face once again.
There you are once more in my arms as we dance.
Your lips press softly upon mine as the passion flares.
Once more our song plays in the background.
Once more I sweep you off your feet.
So light as we dance upon the floor.
Our eyes meet the song comes to an end.
I place a rose in long beautiful hair.
Your smile is like a gift that warms my smile as it spreads upon your face.
Your eyes change color from the glare of the moon as they shine.
To hear your heart as it sings in a loud song as I melt.
Once more a kiss upon your lips before I awake.
But to open my eyes an realize its too late.
Waking up in disapointment to see you aren't by my side.
To only cry and wish I still had you here.

Moving up,
Day by day,
One day,
We’ll be living the good life.

I Do

Admist the rocky mountains
And the natural springs
Comes a better place I remembered things

under this lamp post is where
you first asked me to take
your hand in marriage

I remember you down on
one knee and the snow was
just starting to fall

You looked like a little lost puppy
looking for a way to speak I
took your hand and said yes

That was over twenty years ago
And to this date we still come back
to the Springs of Colorado and say I Do

Each female,
Greets him intoxicated,
Joining kingdoms love,
Men now obedient,
Pre qualify responses,
Staying tomorrow united,
Victorious women,
Xerox yearlong zeal.

I am sure this will strike up some controversy,,for sure...Maybe and then again maybe not !!!

I pace back and forth just thinking of when you came into my life.

WE’LL ALL REUNITE IN TIME

Fame, wealth, prestige, and wild women
For too long were my passions of life.
One day I found sweet liberation
When God gave my heart to my wife.

33 years we loved one another
Sharing all we possessed and more.
Last year she passed in the middle of night
Never to shadow our door.

I’m sure in rapture, she awaits
For me to arrive in heaven divine.
I’ll miss our children and grandkids too
But we’ll all reunite in time.

Freddy The Fly Takes a Bride

Freddy the Fly,
Now back from the moon,
Noticed on his calendar,
That it was now June...

The wedding month,
thought our dear Freddy,
But a fly has a short life,
So then, before I'm dead,
I gotta' find a fly-wife!!

So Freddy flew
all abouts the world
Searching for,
the perfect fly-girl

Finally he was rewarded,
When Nicole Fly he did meet,
He got so excited,
He stepped on her fly-feet

But the attraction seemed mutual,
Like a fly to horse manure,
But when they did converse,
They both were very sure,

Freddy proposed his
fly matrimonial hope,
Nicole said yes, let's
go elope....

But a wise Freddy the fly,
Did look her in the eye,
He knew she'd someday
regret,
Such a simple way to beget,

So he told her of his plan,
For the biggest fly-wedding
in all the land,

The solemn day came real quick,
A Sunday wedding, they did pick
And as it did unfold,
This story I was told,
He'd waited for her hand to hold,
To place on her fly-hand the ring gold,

Dressed in his little fly-tux,
Fly guests tried to hold their yucks,
And Nicole, in her fly gown,
Flew about, then up, then down,

To land on the fly-alter,
Not for a fly minute did she falter,
Said, "Yes, Fly Priest, I do!!...
And if's all the same to you.....
Would you get off my fly wedding cake,
It took so long for the fly-baker to make"

And Freddy's anxious to leave at once,
On a fly honeymoon, for sure,
But, alas, I almost forgot-
No "moon" in the honeymoon- no more!

For Freddy had eatten the romantic moon,
It tasted like sh_t, and it did ruin,
The moonlight for kissing was there no more,
So to fly-sleep they went,
and soon began to fly-snore.....

Now a Freddy Fly's snore is an event to behold,
At least as a fly-story, we've been told
Nicole , she couldn't sleep
As Freddy fly-snored deep,
She flew off and let the fly groom,
Wake up next fly-day to fly-gloom!

A ROYAL'S QUERULOUS DEBATE

The curtain slowly rises...the audience is spell-bound
by the appearance of royalty

Act 1, Scene 1

King Henry VIII: O adored wife, you never drew
another man to your breasts;
have I loved you more or less?

King Henry VIII: O voluptuous lips that have kissed mine,
when roses spurred to greatness,
is your trust in me flimsy or fortified?

Queens Katherine: Why are you asking me this,
beloved husband, if the promise
of that young virgin was more than true?
I have desired your strong arms around me,
to dispel my fears and doubts on many moonless and frightening nights...
when the northern wind ruthlessly entered in the chambers,
and blew out all the candles that were more aromatic than columbines!
O dearest love, which need I didn't provide you by touch?

King Henry VIII: No, sweeheart everything you offered me,
but lust for another woman led me astray...
leaving your marital bed and sneaking away!

Queen Katherine: O dishonorable husband, what made you so unfaithful...
if I made you the vessel of these dreams,
to transport me on soft waves like cherubs' wings?

King Henry VIII: Not enough passion in love-making, insensible wife...
permitting your guilt prevent the pleasure
I sought in every embrace and intimate feeling,
to boost this amorous ego without ending!

Queen Katherine: How dare you say that, unmeritous husband...
while your attention was focused on a mistress?

King Henry VIII: How can you blame me, uncaring wife...
making me escape and causing me to cheat?

Queen Katherine: This marriage took place under the eyes of the Almighty,
and you solemnly swore to honor me,
to love me, to strengthen me and to spend a lifetime
of joys, of hopes and sorrows through love and fidelity!

Never-Never Land

I stare out into this huge blue Sea,
And the waves, well, they just carry me.
My mind drifts so far away,
Because the Ocean is where I lay!
I’m off to never-never land once again,
So take my hand and let this journey begin!
I listen carefully to the Oceans roar,
The waves, well they just help me soar.
My mind relaxes with my day,
Because the Ocean is where I always lay!
I’m off to never-never land on a hunch for so much more,
So take my hand and let’s find new places we can both explore!
I can see blue water with big fluffy white rolls,
Waves, well they just capture my entire soul.
My mind just helpless with my day,
Well, it is the Ocean where I lay!
Off in never-never land I can always see,
A gigantic Ocean covering over me!
Far away in never-never land near the Ocean is where I always lay.
Lifeless in the sand is where I’ll always be.
So take my hand and be lifeless with me in the sand.
Together, just you and me on our journey to never-never land,
Just lifeless in the sand, together you and I and always we’ll be hand in hand!

' Masculine Majesty ... ' Medieval # 2

           ‘ Masculine Majesty … ’
             Medieval Lines # 2

Lo’ and Behold … Thy Masculine Majesty
Thy Manliness, Suits Thee, Most Perfectly
As Knightly Swain, doth’ this Maid Elate
Wherefore Thy Warrior Hands, Commence Passionate

Thy Kingly Eyes, Glisten-Graciously, Wise
And Smolder My Sight, as Sun doth’ Skies
Thy Princely Lips, Whence Wine doth’ Drip
Dare I Partake One Sip, ere’ Swoon and Skip?

Thy Presence and Essence, art’ Aphrodisiac to My Soul
I Beseech Thee, Sup from Mine Alchemy-Bowl
Forsooth, by Thine Bow and Arrow
and Mine Own, Blood, Bone Marrow …

… I Must Have Thee, lest’ I Wail in Sorrow
I Forswear The Handsomeness of Any Other Fellow
The Look of Thee, Melts Me … Like Candle Tallow
Thence … I Shall Seek Thy Love … on The Morrow

Lo’ and Behold … Thy Masculine Majesty …

Forsaken Eurydice

[Satyr]
A quick game is all it will be
I can tell you can hear my shouts and screams from forest
Your home it beckons thee
Why won't you come and play with me?

Why cant you cure her?
The venom isn't too deep
If you could awaken her once
Cant you do it again
 Did sorrow blind you?

 [Orpheus]
Eurydice Eurydice how mortal death has forsaken thee
Why I not could listen to the dread king
All the life to you I could bring
I had to look back with eyes of dismay
Eurydice Eurydice how mortal death has forsaken thee
Music no more will there be
For I have forsaken my Eurydice

 [Persophone]
He will never listen
No is all you will hear
Death is always the killer of love
Death will always win

 [Hades]
Go back to your kingdom
My words have been proclaimed
Your music will not be able to charm

 [Persophone]
Why don't you please
Give him his love
He went this far in vainI
f he cannot see her blank face
Wont why you please

 [Hades]
If it will please
You can see her
Only without your eyes
Throughout the dark realm
Looking back will forsaken your Eurydice

Night - Nature

I Walked in the Woods, on a Moonlit path
As Fireflies gathered around to Dance
And Crickets and a Nightingale Chirped a Tune
As a Distant Wolf, Howls at the Moon

And a Glow-Eyed Owl, Territorially Asked Who-o-o- !
dares Invade and Interrupts Our Hullabaloo ?
and the Leaves on the Oaks, Rustled an Answer
across the Sky… and Wind Breezily Whispered…

… Must Be A Night Creature
Who Cannot Sleep
Must Have A Night-Nature
And Ventures Deep …
Into The Nightshade and Hollyhocks
Her Eyes, like Two Nimbus, Shimmery-Spots…

… Now, The Path lay close, to a Bubbling Stream
Which led to a Pool, of a Mirror-Sheen
Denizens of the Dark, Grouped Near the Obsidian-Ink
… in Hushed Agreement, as I Knelt To Drink…

… Must Be A Night Creature
She Drinks at Leisure
Must Have A Night-Nature
Look At Her Stature…
Intrepid-Instinct, Even Blasé- Imbued
Even in Silhouette- Shadows and Solitude…

… And, as I Stroll Back, the Way I Came
The Mysterious-Darkness Asked: “Had I Ever Been Tame?...”
I Raised My Face, Replied, “Yes… Under God’s Hand…
… And as I Stepped into the Tent... added… “And That Of My Man's”…

… Must Be A Night Creature
Hunting Treasure
Must Have A Night-Nature
Hunting Pleasure…
… in The Measure of His Sweet Kissed-Reaction
In The Measure of My Own, Night-Predator Passion…

Ride On The Wind... Forever

I Want To Ride On The Wind… Forever
I Want To Ride Over Land and Sea
I Want To Ride on The Wind… Forever
… and I Want You Riding With Me…

I Want To Ride On The Wind Over Mountains
And Touch The Sky, So Blue
Then Raise Oceans, Like Sparkling Fountains
And Splash Through Water, Kissing You

I Want To Ride On The Wind… Hold Its Mane
Ride The Wind… Wild and Free
For The Wind – Will Never Be Tame…
So Hold On Tight and Just… Breathe…

… Ride The Wind – Let It Begin – Ride The Wind
Ride The Wind – Breathe It In – Ride The Wind
Ride The Wind – Blow Again – Ride The Wind
Ride The Wind – Raise The Wind – Ride The Wind!

I Want To Ride On The Wind – In The Moonlight
I Want To Ride On The Wind – In The Clouds
And Wave To The Wings of Eagles in Flight
… then Float like Snow – Dancing Down

I Want To Ride On The Wind Forever
I Want To Ride and Rush-Up Rainbow-Stairs
I Want To Ride On The Wind – Forever
For Your Sweet-Breath Beckons Me… Everywhere

… Ride The Wind – Let It Begin – Ride The Wind
Ride The Wind – Breathe It In – Ride The Wind
Ride The Wind – Blow Again – Ride The Wind
Ride The Wind – Raise The Wind – Ride The Wind!

Our Love Tribune

We laid on the beach after frolicking around.
Sand on our bodies, in our personal playground.

Ocean waves encampasses our love.
The night sky is clear with stars up above.

You kiss me passionately, awaking my senses.
My thoughts teasing my carnal inhibitions.

You embrace me and hold me tenderly.
Hold me forever, this night I will remember blithely.

My heart soars, our love will be a tribune..
You are my love, my man in the moon.

The Eviction of Mr. Ivy

With his thick, brown, hairy legs,
He had climbed the back of an old white barn.
As his knotted, broad chest pressed
Against the dry-rotted boards,
He stretched his arms toward the sun
Piercing through some nearby branches.
Entangling his long fingers in those limbs,
He rested his head on the black shingled roof
Until his head became green and bushy.
His body clave to the building when he saw me.
He clinched when I tried to grab him
And he did not want to come down.
So, I cut him off by his hairy feet
From among his crawling children,
And I pulled and pulled him by the legs.
Though he fought to stay and kicked to return,
I tore him away from that old white barn
And down he came with boards and branches.
I laid him on top of a pile of old ivy vines
And scraped his remains off the building.

Rebellious One

Stability is my wish
But, you rock the boat
Taking me into a fantasy world
Where nothing else matters
Being with you is my only concern
Dancing with you on cloud nine
Spinning me round and round
I feel euphoric
Don't want to come down from this high
Then back to reality
Boredom wakes me
Depression sets in
Craving the excitement
Here we go again
On another journey
Into your land of make believe
Rebellious to the end

Freddy the Fly, As The Time Goes By

Poooor Freddy....deserted
by his bride,
Felt so damn hopeless,
All you'd ever see,
Was just how much he cried

So Freddy went,
to a fly psychologist,
Hoping that it meant,
He wouldn't cut his fly-wrist,

But Dr. Sigmund Fly,
Heard his tale, as he did cry,
He asked Poooor Freddy why,
He wanted so to die...

Freddy spoke his truth,
An ache in his fly-tooth
Made him cry so bad,
Not the fly-bride he'd had,

Dr. Sigmund Fly,
Looked Freddy
in his thousand part fly-eye,
Said he couldn't lie,
There was a chance he'd die.....

Now this news stunned Freddy,
His world so surely shook,
He bade the Dr. Fly,
Goodbye,
and his leave he took....

He went to the Roach Motel,
Thinking to die is just as well,
But for Poooor Freddy Fly did there find,
He was not the right insect kind.....

Last anyone saw of Freddy,
He was getting himself ready,
To fly to Mexico,
To some Mexican Fly that he did know....

So, when you swat a fly,
I beg you please try,
to identify the fly
And if a sombrero he wears,
Let pooooor Freddy go!

How I'd Like To Die

In the arms of my beloved,
After writing my best poem,
After performing my greatest gig,
After reconciling with relatives,
Currently on my "out" list,
After visiting my parents gravesites,
After visiting my old homesight,
After achieving peace with myself,
No matter how long it takes,
After visiting my Dad's and mine's
Favorite wateringhole,
After visiting all my close relatives'
one last time,
After helping one last needy person,
Anonymously,
After my last church visit,
After my last prayer.
After finding peace.

Blue Chickens

" Just try to Walk quietly.
You have to be real sneaky
to surprise blue Chickens.
Leave the old truck
Parked at the bar and always
carry a little garlic for bait.
Blue Chickens don't eat Just anything.
They aren't easy to catch"
you told me with a sleepy smile.
Almost as hard to catch
as pink elephants I thought
to myself as I covered you
with a soft blanket.
Your tequila snores
echoing through out the room.
Blue Chickens indeed
I muttered, reaching for my coffee..
Maybe I can figure out a way
to write your Blue Chickens into a poem!

Gal Friday

Some quizative soul,
Wanted to know about that phrase...
Simple enough...
Nothing to leave you a'daze...

See, Friday in the office...
Is the end of the week...
So you gotta make sure...
That your secret don't leak...
Like her calling you at home...
Creating quite a stir...
Your wife now demanding...
If there's something going on,
with her...
So on Friday you tend...
To treat your girl Friday
extra good....
Say the right words...
Doing all that you could....
To keep her sated all
weekend...
You don't want her to become...
Another Mother Hen...
So if you're a wife,
And Hubby dresses
His best each Friday...
Just take the big hint...
And here's what to say....

"You dirty @^^q$$+(!g&...
That seems quite succinct,
And let him know for sure...
You're in power,,
The pens inked...
He'd better show up
on Monday...
With candy, flowers,
and a big raise...
Or you'll bop him one good,
And leave him adaze!!
