Dune - Sea of Time

                                                       Warm wind sculpts sharp crests—
                                                       waves of blown grains —measuring
                                                       the eternity

                                          all stars and planets
                                        inflicted in time till end
                                            Universe's of God

                                            in time we are all
                                           limited bodies in it
                                          span is fixed by Him

Time is fair and forgiving,
An equal opportunity employer,
A carefully balanced scale of hours, minutes and seconds,
In which days can be wasted and weeks recovered.

Time is an entity scientists cannot adjust,
A plaything the rich cannot afford,
A reward the poor cannot attain,
So how did it come to be that time is in fact what we spend?

Time is all-pervading, a vortex of imprisonment,
Time is the persevering beat of the drum,
Time pounds inevitably on the door of life,
Time is the birth, the living and the death.

Of Autumn Rush

          During Autumn Rush,
Squirrels chase scraps of acorns-
                    On trails to winter.

Points of Light

                                                         airy erosion
                                                         stars beyond triumphal arc

Time to Make a Change

Winter gusts subside,
Pleasant sunlight pours inside,
Welcome after cold.

Snow and ice grow old.
This peek must be a promise.
Don't be a "Doubting Thomas".

Ice and snow must end.
Bitter winter we rescind!
Traded for warm light.

Sun a timely sight.
Nature's plan unfolds before
Spring can open doors.

The Growing Time

Once more brooks babble

Birds and Bees singing their tune

        Wind chatters through trees

Natures renewal

Seeds break through eager for Sun

        A race to full bloom

 Repeat performance

    Roses take to center stage

        Spring season begins

In Time -Haiga-

in time I will heal
from life’s bitter sweet moments
if I take the chance

to remember all
can sometimes be rewarding
if I pay the price

forgetting the past
makes more room for the future
if I can forgive
