You and I and I and You

You, who are so perfect in my eyes, so beautiful- adorable, and I, so flawed, ugly, damaged and crawling with defects; why do you enjoy my company?

You, who are so sleek and slender, humming with a quiet intellect and a serenity about you, and I, so grossly overweight and pretentiously boastful and nervous; how can you abide my company?

You, who are a paragon of patience, so understanding and self-assured, and I, so insanely impulsive, so myopic and brimming with self-doubt; how do you stand my company?

You, who are so sweet, so considerably kind, so thoughtful and generous, and I, so bitter, so selfish, so self-absorbed; why do you choose my company?

You, who are so self-composed, full of self-control, so sound and stable, and I, so very neurotic, so completely compulsive and verily volatile; how can you tolerate my company?

You, who are so diligent, so driven and ambitious, so achieving, and I, so lackadaisically lazy, so uninspired, so complacent; why do you settle for my company?

You, who are ethical, so moral, so very virtuous, and I, so corrupt, so unprincipled, so wholly wicked; how can you endure my company?

You, who are so normal, so well-adjusted, so conventional, and I, so maniacal, so unbalanced and irrational; why do you condone my company?

You, who are bubbling with charm, who loves unconditionally and is absolutely accepting, and I, boiling with rage, fueled by misanthropy and incredibly intolerant; how can you welcome my company?

That you love and accept me for who and what I am, is a treasure beyond measure. I cherish your company, but why you cherish mine is something I cannot fathom. All I know is that I love you, my dear, beloved friend.

**This was written for two very dear friends: Karen and Tommy :)
***I also love palindromes ;)

A S-I-M-P-L-E Yes or No

Ink spills purposely on paper forming letters of certain alphabets to vowels and consonants. Though speechless, one puts forth effort to enunciate and pronounce aloud the syllables carefully to articulate loves interest. Do you want to be my one and only Love Interest?

My Heart's Eviction Notice

I’m giving you two weeks’ notice
And then I’m evicting you
From my heart
You haven’t been paying your dues…
Lingering caresses
Entwining embraces
Passion laden kisses
And loving whispers
Are overdue
LONG overdue

What’s worse…
You’ve been trashing the premises
With your careless words
dirty excuses
filthy put-downs...
Your childish tantrums
And misplaced anger
Have littered my heart

You have been bringing in
Uninvited guests
To share the night
Thinking I was unaware
Of the trysts
But this place is meant for you
YOU
Alone

There has been too much
Way too much
Wear and tear
And so I declare
You are being evicted
Pack up your things
And find another
Heart
to live in!

I need some time
To set things right
To make repairs...

The love paint needs to dry
The dream frames need to be hung
The soiled sheets need to be purified
I need to sew new curtains of hope
And wash away the grime from the
windows of my heart
Before I can even consider
Taking in a new resident.

Two weeks…..
Just enough time
For you to pay for damages
And then to leave
Peacefully...
Before I have you thrown out
of this heart of mine!

Sometimes

Sometimes I am happy, sometimes I am sad.
Sometime I sing, sometimes I stammer

Sometimes I dance on the music of my soul, Sometimes I dance on the fingers of
one single person
Sometimes I expect so much from others; sometime I myself can’t meet my own
expectations.

Sometime I make fun of others and feel bad later, sometimes life makes fun of me
and I smile
Sometime I win and sometimes I lose, sometimes I don’t even understand whether I
won or lost.

Sometimes I laugh as if whole world is with me,
Sometimes I cry as if I am alone wandering in a strange land

Sometimes I give up so easily
Sometimes I work so hard that no one can stop me to achieve what I want

Sometimes I am dynamic person, who wants to change the world,
And sometimes I am a kid who expects anyone to embrace him tightly.

Sometimes I feel happy about the achievement of my enemy
Sometime I feel dejected with my own success.

Sometimes I help others and show them the right path
Sometimes I feel totally helpless and don’t know where to go

Sometimes I ask god to please give my past back
Sometimes I pray to show me the way forward

Life is composed of SOMETIMES and I just flow with that.
U admit or not but you are also sailing on the same boat.
So join me and enjoy it EVERYTIME as SOMETIMES life is very short!

Hungry for You

A confession
bursts from your full lips
Almost against your will:
“I’m hungry ….
I'm hungry for you.”

I speak in seductive smile soliloquy.
My cherry glossed lips pa rt,
gushing out this succulent response:
“Come, my hungry boy.
Come and eat.

From appetizer to desert
Gluttony’s Creed is freed in me
Take time to t~a~s~t~e
From chocolate tips to cherry smear,
your taste palette I’ll tease
with full bodied, full course meal

Thirsty in--be--tween--needs
~~~~I’ll drench quench~~~~
from my blessed abundant flow
take it nice and slow as you go
Come, come and indulge
another dish to relish
My love menu
creations just for you
Just the right spice
Of naughty and nice
Satiation Celebration awaits
But now...
Eat..... s, l, oOoOoOo w, l, y
Don’t waste in haste…
These moments so ^u*n^ chaste
There you go, baby boy
satisfaction exhalation
Now, come
Let me clean~~you~~up
Time to sleep
Here is my chest
plush pillow rest
I’m here
Sleep...sleep
Hunger will not haunt your dreams
Ah...
Contented sigh
Closed eyes
and here am I
Watching over you as you sleep
Insatiable the hunger for you
In my *eye*
OUR FIGHT
Clouds of doubt hovered
Over our heads
They multiplied and grew to
Mistrust
That brewed to a storm of anger which
Unleashed its rage in
Thunder of words and
Lightning of gestures
In a while
The exhausted tempest subsided
Clouds dissipated
The sun of trust hesitantly appeared
It grew stronger and brighter,
Reason prevailed,
Feelings warmed up,
Harts palpitated,
Arms opened wide
And
We threw ourselves into
Each others embrace
Finding thus shelter in
Our love
Hence
Fearing the coming of a
New storm, NO MORE!
Tribute to My Dearest Daughter
Tribute to My Dearest Daughter
My darling daughter, Precious child of my youth, Dearest to my heart - From that wonderful moment When I first felt that fluttering of life, Rhythmically beating beneath my expectant bosom, I knew that I would unconditionally love you forever.
With deep motherly pride I helped you develop into womanhood Watching you become a strong, well-rounded woman. A loving mother yourself, you are not only a blessing To your own children and your family, But you are also a blessing to others - Those who hurt in life and need care and compassion.
With its ups and downs, life has transformed you, Challenged, nurtured, matured, and molded you. You are kind, thoughtful, generous, patient, and understanding, Unselfishly expecting nothing in return. You are a wonderful human being - You are a true angel. God bless you, my dearest daughter, my love!
Our Passions on Fire My Darling
A very long time passed between us
Before we met once again
Quite unexpectedly surprisingly
Exchanging very intense looks
Harboring most hungry urges
Possessing the wildest desires
Feeling rebounding emotions
Charged nerves electric and cosmic
Greeting happily and nervously
Walking closely together but unsure
Interested and yet afraid of what
Next could happen . . .
A drink or two or three later at the bar
Then a couple more sitting in the booth
Losing the edge pent up tension from before
Us both now quite talkative
Us both now quite oblivious to time
Us both now quite friendlier
Us both now quite guarded still
We now hold hands remembering
Fun times much laughter much smiling
Depressing times much hurt much unhappiness
Like strangers in the night we really are
But not attracted for the very first time
Ready and wanting to start over again
But not so sure of the “forever” part
Interested and yet afraid of what
Next could happen . . .
And then—suddenly it magically happened . . .
Like destiny taking charge at once
Your touch my touch our touch one touch
Emotions exploding eyes probing hands feeling
Moving closer becoming one and one and one
Breathing faint then excited and more so
Crying sobbing laughing smiling revealing
Our eyes locked rocked as one in a spiral
Saying I missed you so much
Saying you missed me so much
A burning yearning desire a trembling fire
Our lips meet sweetly hungrily with much intent
Our desires at fever pitch ravenous and craving
Igniting our passions on fire on fire on fire on fire
Shutting out the rest of the world—be gone from us
While crying holding caressing kissing openly and deeply
We find each other all over again and again
A giddy feeling of love lost yet love found again
Asking why? How come? How could we? Why not?
This time all is forgiven—our bond unbroken
Our love rediscovered our lives restored
Our personalities mesmerized as one
Our minds in tune same time and channel
Our emotions most electric and having fun
Our oneness whole and most rewarding
Our love and desire both for an eternity
Our hearts afire our hearts’ desire
Our passions on fire my darling!
The Definition of Perfect
Her laugh is so melodious, a siren song, crashing ships and stealing hearts.
She's stolen my heart.
Yet you can't steal something that's already yours.
Her body is a mystery, one for the history books.
Her lips, so pink and kissable, taunt me like a schoolboy.
She is a goddess,
a true Aphrodite,
a creature of immense and unexplainable beauty.
Yet beautiful is an insult.
She is not beautiful.
She is a work of art, a true Picasso.
In her eyes, I see infinity.
I see stars.
I see the Devil himself.
What I do not see, is her.
She wears a mask.
She hides herself from others like a frightened puppy in a thunderstorm.
And yet, she could not be any more perfect.
Perfect.
You look up the word perfect in the dictionary, and you will see her face.
Perfect.
Perfect dark brown curls, curls darker than my soul.
Perfect.
Perfect smile, a smile so killer it deserves twenty-five to life in the local prison.
Perfect.
When I see her, I'm a deer caught in headlights.
I'm frozen, turned to ice, turned to stone.
Her beauty could stun Medusa.
When she smiles at me, I see Heaven.
I talk with God like he's an old friend.
And when she says my name, I melt like the wicked witch,
and fall deeper...and deeper...and deeper...
REJECTION THE POETRY CONTEST
i remember all of it that afternoon
we cut hearts and stars from foil
we placed the silver ones in the sky
we placed the beating ones on our lips
i know because i felt you like my own breath
that is why I thought you were oxygen
that was the times when matches were lit
that was when my thermometer cracked
i remember it all of that afternoon
you were tearing leaves in the kitchen
you with fingers long and slender
you with french vanilla ice cream nails
i know because in my mind i was licking you
before you ejected a river of tributaries
before we bubbled on to the element
before we merged over an empty pot
i remember that afternoon all of it
the priceless german kitchen knife
the bone cutting diamond hard blade
the slashing beef tongue spiced in cayenne
i know because like helium i floated away
through the blood red tomato coloured air
through the dripping wet haze of rejection
through the liquid salt of hand made wounds
i remember of it all that afternoon
served on a yellow plate of grapes sour
served in the fantasy of yesterday
served in the kindlings of one afternoon
Here, My Dear
Humble yesterday, your intimate memories are now
bearing false witness, following our demise.
There are scattered whispers of a residential cloud
nine, that I called my own after the storm.
No myth could be written guiltier.
For beyond this stable armor of masculinity,
existed a worst case scenario that I had obtained.
It is no fault of your own, to interpret me with the
simplest guess, and yet, it would be the greatest
therapeutic comfort, knowing that you recalled my
brief torture. Here it reads.
The cruelest servant was obviously day one.
For as I showered in my own gloom, the clearest
joy accepted no hint of my presence.
The hours worked overtime to deplete every page
of life, that bordered around this broken clockwork
of loneliness.
By now I merely existed by priorities merciless
hand. As I forced myself upon my studies, there was
no absence of absent guilt on call.
I realized this inevitable misstep, the moment I
stumbled into a single entity yet again.
By the time I found a conscience to shave towards
a better day, spring had already departed,
and I was just beginning to exit sobrieties
unbearable cliff.
The cause to blame beyond myself was tempting;
to see the bewildered scene, as opposed to feeling
its complex wounds.
I yearned for this flood to cease constantly, in
retrospect, prematurely.
However, the suffering hadn’t pierced my spirit just
yet. That cherry that ultimately left a mark on top
was my sick eyes.
Perhaps defined as the perfect fate for the already
faltered, was my cluttered throat, which
allowed no apologetic cliques to exist in air.
The devil’s vomit that would not pause until
more suffering regurgitated, and lastly,
the mindful ache that vibrated at its own
intervals.
Friends could sense the hell that plagued my
sleep. So much that they offered their similar
battles to my faint ears.
I heard their souls, but never their hearts; only
mine was selfish enough for that luxury, despite
its hostile coma. But then, 5 months, 22 days, and
4 afternoon hours later, another chapter was introduced,
and it was entitled The Aftermath.
The acceptance of what could only be formerly
beautiful, came to be the answer that cured me.
In the end, I was thankful for the inferno, and
overjoyed that these words could be written from
Solomon’s throne.
Previous rose, as you open and fold these heartfelt
abrasions, be mindful of these moments that are no
longer bleeding, but rather teaching, of those bullets
that never truly miss.
Am I really me
I always reach for you
When the night seems too long
It feels like you should be there
Lying where you always were
I want to hold your hand
Feel your fingers tighten
Around my own tentacles
Two hands cleaving as one
Since you’ve been gone
The walls listen to my sobs
And seem to whisper of grief
That edges my very soul
Missing you is like a nightmare
Where I never truly wake
It leaves me feeling sluggish
Even during the sunniest days
I often wonder if I will ever find comfort
Amid the pain of my memories
Will I ever look through the old photographs
And caress the heart of what could have been?
Missing you is a tragedy
That keeps me grasping
For the pieces of the past
Which frequent my thoughts
Without you, I think
Am I really me?
Hold My Hand
Walking on a fine line
Finer than  a silky hair
Oops! We are mistaken
Hair is a rope of proteins and
Then a chain of amino acids
Is it an illusion? A phantasm?
Why they then connect
Alike coaches of a train?
Harmony may be the glue
Attaching and sticking them
Together, dashing on the track of life.
I think, the line is nothing but
A series of dots embedded
In the matrix of unity
Come hold my hand, let us
Make a line of life or lifeline
Shun the inconvenience, Dear,
Nature loves symmetry.
THE MOSAIC
The portrait of marriage a
Mosaic,
Made from hundreds of pieces,
Large and small but all of the
Same importance,
Together put
In
A masterful way for the desired outcome
To attain:
The completion of the portrayal of
A relationship, a life to last
Unfortunately,
No one has ever been blessed all
Pieces to amass
As
To perfection the given portrait to
Produce
For
Always some parts will be missing or
Not the desired ones would be in the
Right place
Thus
The portrait never gets done to
The artist’s complete satisfaction
However,
A good artist has to keep in mind the
Essential parts
That
Should never be missed from any mosaic
Of the sort:
Trust escorted by honesty
Selfishness coupled with admiration
Sensuality tied with affection
Love united with devotion
And
The X factor, that the majority never
Under consideration takes:
Synchronicity
For
Without it, all efforts will sooner or later,
Fail!
PERCEPTION
   PERCEPTION
Before the abyss, I had it all
Letting go of all I see
My friend, I hope our time won't end
It took a short time for you to notice
Without knowing who I am
We talked, we became friends
Connecting the dots, missing every line
Connect them and figure me out
Randomly it comes your way
Underneath a never known chemistry
Ask me to stay and I may
Grinding your teeth into my way
Cut out my eyes, and store them up
A tongueless mouth, nothing to say
Maybe by tomorrow you will forget
Losing myself in my own conversation
Hiding behind my one big regret
Don't know, Don't care
You had me open up
A book I closed, knowledge lost
No need to see
A mystery called deception
What I am cannot be seen with the naked eye
Along came you using your *ucked* up perception
The ability you miss use
making sense of this connection
A process you carry with your own  patterns
You asked, you listened,  without making assumptions
A taste to take off my shoulders,
To release an error locked in my Asylum
I myself am enjoying the insights about him
He's got me convince, using his perception
A mother's treasures
A solitary piece the diamond
precious rare gem most treasured
by those lucky enough to hold
Once in possession it is rarely out of grasp
Like the gemstone the mother
requires very specific conditions
in holding fast her (family/) childrens love
Treasured forever in her heart
she will go out of her way
to preen and protect them
holding them dear to her
deep within her maternal safe – the heart
closely guarded by the mind
Her infatuation of all treasures to her
are totally understandable
especially when you think to the complexity
of structure and process taken in creation
Just as from the ‘unbreakable’ in ancient greek
this alletrope of carbon
with strength of bonding between atoms
is representative of that strong love
between mum and child
The maternal being could be compared
to the superlative physical qualities of the stone
Even the characteristic luster
of this gem so prevaient from its ability
to disperse light and colour
compared to the many strengths, roles and qualities
of the mother
seen by the many she deals with daily
A most high pressured job
versus the high pressured temperature
within the Earths mantle
that forms the delightful rock it gives birth to
Infants delight and ignite the forbearer
just as the jewel would dazzle the room
a mother’s love encaptures the magical luster
of those she’s birthed and nothing
stands inbetween this richest of cargo’s
I Do Believe
"I Do Believe"
The purpose of LIFE is to {Living In Faith Ever}
to enrich God within us
to an optimum level
so that We as Humans
can be guided by God
to fuel out brothers and sisters
with the same driving force
to connect with the living God,
to His existence and
to See the Invisible,
Believe the Incredible, and
to Receive the Impossible
to our everlasting journey
to Heaven.
Moments In Time
The sweetest sounds of burning trees
A gentle stroking in the breeze
The calm has lasted past the storm
Cloudy visions, Satan’s roar
Too many sights have passed my way
A time found only in the haze
The softest screams are running bare
My aching bones creak as I stare
You walk a distance towards me
The fall’s eternal, can’t you see?
I’m a memory in your heart
I whisper to you in the dark
The battle’s started at the end
No one is coming to repent
The sinners grab their wine from prey
No judgment calling here to stay
The sport is reckless to be told
The one is laughing at his souls
It falters nowhere to be sure
The power grows forevermore
Like a spirit in the wind
I have no say in where you’ve been
But cross the line to come to me
And pay the price for ecstasy
You walk a distance towards me
The fall’s eternal, can’t you see?
I’m a memory in your heart
I whisper to you in the dark.
Trophy Wife
I watch your riveting sonatas
Layer decadent truffles
Upon his pupils
Leaking wanton tears
Grasping for serenity
To have epilogue’s slow dance
You latch onto love’s empty façade.
No return flights to your destination.
Where are YOUR wings, angel?
An embedded hunger for him
To treat you like a priceless prayer
But, his knees are too decrepit to kneel in your temple.
Yet, you stay…
…stay
Your freedom becomes latched
Onto tortured leeches
Sucking
You
Dry
It’s the closest you ever
Come
To his flesh
You stare out towards melancholic branches
Cracking in unison outside your bedroom window
Under Gemini moon
A gripping slide of your fingertips
Against convex glass
Craving for encore
Of that night emptiness filled your lungs with lustful whisper
But, now,
Pandora’s Box is your only translator
Held by the skeletons in his closet
With your name written against necklace’s recycled parchment
As the one they blame
For being a silver medal
When will it be your time to shine?
With you in autumn evening
The sweet songs of birds, We hand in hand across the lawn, Pansies white yellow and violet Tossing their heads in the breeze. Somewhere the sound of falling leaves. The sound of squirrel cracking the walnut. Calm weather warm sun, White fluffy clouds forming different shapes, A passenger flight in the blue sky, Sun born in the horizon and about to fade in the horizon, Both our heartbeats echo inside of chest, Shutting and opening of our lips, Your unkempt hair flying backwards, Yellowish west sky. Heart shaped fig leaf's shadow. If I could stop this world from spinning, I would do so, Just to be with you In this autumn evening.
A Beautiful Love
A beautiful day, beautiful is time,
When I have you lay by my side.
A beautiful feel, a beautiful rhyme,
Just to look into your eyes,
And lie by your side.
Never felt so better in life before,
Nothing would feel better than hold you,
In my arms forevermore.
Time and time I felt,
To kneel over and hold your hands.
I don't know what is right and light.
But one thing is sure and very pretty sure,
I will love you all my life.
'Utter Those Words'
Remember that lady you fell in love with? Do you remember that man that made your heart beat faster? The people you promised the world too? What happened to them? I know the years gone by has left their mark They might have grown a little older But do you know they still want to be your everything? Do you remember that first few months? You couldn’t compliment her enough Do you know even today, she still yearn to hear you say “Honey you look beautiful today” Do you remember how you use to text him every day? Even if it’s just to say “I miss you” What happened to those days? Life happened Do you realize that with every passing minute She might still want to hear those words again She might feel that she has lost her beauty The appeal she use to have Maybe today he might want to hear you say “I miss you” Maybe he wants to feel needed in spite of your independence Don’t forget to show you still care Even if you think they know it – Sometimes we forget to say it When the person in our lives needs to hear it the most ©161020131345
Just Incase,,,
Just incase...
The world should end.
Ive made a few friends,
Some relationships came and went.
Some endured to the very end.
Other relations could not mend.
No animosity, to any of them.
Its just life, how things begin,
And often end...
Just incase...
The world should end.
I dont have alot, of worldly possession's
Just some earthly aquirements,
Attained along the way.
Physical attachments, that will astray,
When my life has withered away.
Just incase...
The world should end.
I hope one-day we Meet again.
This flesh, we do not own.
Its just a vehicle, that transports the soul.
Until, it finds a place to go.
Just incase...
The world, should end.
I need to say, one more thing.
I need to let you know, how much I truly cared.
How sometimes, my own ignorance,
Ruined the love, I could have shared.
That my own fears, have often shattered my faith, &
How ive struggled, to find the right
Words to say.
Just incase...
The world should end.
Please know, I will always love you
Till the end.
He's A Carpenter
Surrounded by various profession
Business, medicine, soldiership and education
It's heaven-sent and planned  for Him to labour
To work manually with strength and effort
True hardships; entails a great man of honor
He picked up woods and tools to craft
From small drawers and tables to houses that will last
An impression of humility and expression of equality
Though He is reverence; a Saviour from heaven
Joseph was the adoptive father
Where His skill of carpentry originated
He worked night and day; perspired with pain
He asked of no demand and with no complain
The name is Jesus born in Betlehem
The only begotten son of our Father in heaven
He could have worked in another occupation
But chose to make a living from down-below
Carpenters make
Carpenters create
They take the common and make it something to consider
Equipped with right materials they bind things altogether
The reason-being, for us to know He's a builder
Don't you know that we're under construction?
Whenever our hearts broken and the world is all we know
When we pray and call, Jesus is at work
To fix us and forgive; improving mind and soul
No work is greater if hardwork is shared
Truly, Jesus had proven that a carpenter's noble
To help us build our dreams and make the world stronger
"In Him, all things hold together"'.
