Northern Slaves

In the silent breathing of night,
treading through
the darkness and the hush
(A heavy band of slave)
like black ants snaking
through the forlorn distance.
Grieving with tears
Of yesterdays burning anguish.
They hum a languid song
On the fragrant breath of wind.
A haunt that invades my trembling eyes
With a thousand boundless tears
That quivers through the night.

The dreaded echoes came down the black pathway
Like a thousand men
Galloping through the sultry breeze
(Were the heartless whips that toiled)
With dumb hands,
Feeding paled pink flesh
With endless stings of cruel misery.

The stars curled around their naked feet
As they trampled the grass
Wet with lurid dew and the masked
Beds of fragrant hues
Prancing in the hallowed night.
I could feel the storming of their sorrows,
The rock of their heart
Drooping with defeat.
Despair a master to their fading hope
That sailed across their faces.
Oh those foul notes budding with despair
Branched within their eyes.

The lulling whispers of their shackles
United with their treading feet like hooves
Cloaked with heavy weariness
(It surrounded the dead of night)

I hung up my fears
For I was bright with their pain
Oh I died that day
Oh I died that day
While drifting to the helpless East
To that damp cold earth filled
With drowsy mournful Asters
Then the smell of dead men came alive
Black dogs clustered to the earth
Their children beside them with gripping hands!

Frozen Howl

Inside a knowledge turning cogs on this wheel
born from the darkness a heart rules supreme
fear in one wish looking towards tunnel light love
All that will remain when all turns to dust threads of life dance
kneeling weak alone humble and meek finding a balance

Weeping rivers flow haunting sea waves turn the key
truth is something beautiful touching deeply chords
Chilling whispers rise warm oasis warmly embraces hold
creeping inside beauty beams within shadows
Dancing starlight kissing ocean reflections twinkle
sparkle glisten teardrops coldly ripple out

Floating on a cloud of breath precious beauty
a mystery that means something special
finest mother of pearl gem coloring rainbow jewel shines forever
Frozen dew quicksilver lining echoes time answers always
cold as ice crystals dazzling diamond stillness pure

Frosted vision clear cutting ivory white one cool snowflake falls
baptism in regal glowing crowning full face splendor enchants a ball
walking along golden strands looking across the sea midnight strikes
Sleepless nights held over and back destiny calls your name
utopia faraway dreaming our love complete

Out of Control

I spin, faster and faster… losing control, I am a propeller rising. Once, you were my mystery to solve – my challenge, my highest vista to climb. You lifted me to your private skies. Spread out before me on red-winged flights, eradicated stars came back to life, painted iridescent by your own two hands. What could only be crayoned by inferior men. All aglow, the universe circled my head - round and round till the dizziness came, infatuation only to blame. I spin…slower, rhythmic, scraping. I am a pinwheel on softest breeze. memories come…memories go. With a crystal crown of constellations, you adorned my flowing hair – locks spun golden, locks I loosened for you. I became a glowing body for you to orbit, a fiery flood of sunlight traveling, Venus gifted in violet dusk, auroras of ribbon braided… I spin…slanting, lower, on tip-toes. I am a ballerina with an audience of one. I watched you watch me in light of all things. I wanted to be center of your universe… rings of Saturn encircled you and I. Mercury’s fire blazed through what was us. Blue-silver splattered moons orbited our sleep. I kissed the moon rock I named after you. I kissed you and only you until dawn slipped between the warmth of our linen sheets. I caught you in my arms time after time, clouds dappled with your eyes floated by… doting, they released scintillating showers upon a wilting flower. When it was time for you to catch me, you were gone…taking with you part of me. I fell hard…back to earth, stained crimson, star-struck. Forever is a long time to chase shooting stars through echoing space. I trusted you, trusted only you, trusted you with me. I rusted, no protection from your harsh elements. We all come back to reality of a spinning earth… we rise or fall, move or hide, heed the call or lie. We come to the self-sharpened point of swim or die. Time rushes by… I sat next to you, held your hand, feeling like my own miraculous sky, regaining my identity… while you read Hemingway, a man’s man you’d say. I spoke of the poem I wrote for you another day. “Yeah, yeah…Aha”, you whispered…my words dismissed, a foreign language never understood. Space and time altered our skies; below, your lies became our demise. Our footprints disappeared before my eyes. In my own miraculous sky, I have slowed my pace, aware of my mistakes, my fear, my grace. I embrace beauty, peace, tears I've cried, the ride… Dawn came early this new day, I drove away, weaved around a pothole, almost crashed. The gravel road rattled my faith. I started to spin again…disoriented, I faltered, but I never turned back. I wonder if I avoided my own catastrophe, saved face, or a little of both… I remember how I asked you about the meaning of love. You turned away, reading Williams that day, madness and genius you’d say, I planted my feet, met your eyes, then marched away. Head held high, you dimmed under a starlit sky. I searched myself and found the brightest star… it led me home. Now, I brush my fingers lightly across a constellation on high… Pegasus, I think. Only to realize, it’s reflection mottles in a rippling puddle below... beauty awakened by my grounded feet. Rhonda Johnson-Saunders, 4/11/15

Poet -This Poem is About You

-Dear, Mr & Mrs Poet-

Do you ever question where it comes from?
This poem's about you, sit down and get a load off
Tranquilize your pen, take heed to the ecstatic applause

The things in life we take for granting, in time get worse
From WHICH' our lives transverse, ascends a deep poetic curse
You write almost everything, rehearsing every living verse
Embezzling words, like Martha Stewart, ---NOT YOURS!
Withdrawing from your substance,
--yielding it to others, who aren't devoted lovers
Spacing your lines, ready for reader's digest,
Educating the mind, like Albert Einstein

You paint a different horizon for the color blind,
Drop a note, forecasting the news, that brings, Spring to mind
Your adrenaline, leaves people with a feel good faint.
At this level, Poet you're better than high speed Internet,
Anything that makes you feel this is the real deal,
Today, you write like there's no tomorrow, borrowing yesterday's clay
Inspiring ink, left to right, feeding the need to breed a poetic degree
Your dramatic dialogue, deserve 'The Peoples Choice award."

I love the sweet audio, when you lowercase every word
It's done so well, hell, let's never capitalize another word
Reaching a point across, when capitalizing every letter,
This is your world, take it, manipulate it, with the perfect stanza
Produce it like a poetic film, imagery, action, CUT it like Jerry Bruckheimer
One day Hollywood will incite a roll, looking for the best poetry soup rhymer

Your tears and affection, you pour on partial paper,
Showing every word you want to enunciate
A SHOULDER-- gone cold, drowning, forgetting the normal way
Writing about the pure religion that meets your light,
A beautiful flower under the moonlight
Hear the bells, Poe wrote about, adding sprinkles to the twinkle in your eyes,
A redolent scent not meant to be forgotten, from Eden's garden
Taking nature, by course, granting her a crown, before slamming us down
I will call her out --The evil and the fury of a goddess, a beast
This is my feast, I welcome you to my jungle, and the outer bounds of time.

If you ever question where it comes from?
Sit down and get a load off, listen---Where's the ecstatic applause?
I'm not afraid to say, -----I'm Proud to be A Poet Without A Cause

I do it for fun

Not Missing Loves Beat

Not Missing Love’s Beat

Not missing love’s beat . . . .
Sails to you this golden bright morning rising so high
Sails waving with light, joy, and such promise and hope
One smile gasping breathless always for you my love

As you walk with me deeply into Eden’s very paradise
Dancing my heart love on that yellow brick road of dreams
Dying to be with you my love forever and ever and ever
Dreams inside of eternal youth with my heart pounding so

Awaiting the very day to come when I stand before you
Down on bended knee holding your hands warmly smiling
Kissing each and every single fingertip so exquisitely
I shall ask you to be forever and always with me my love

You will be my Queen with dazzling jewels of an ocean wide
The other heartbeat echoing as two becomes one complete
Our thirst for love and passion is almost unquenchable
And my very psyche is afire with excitement when we caress

Sleeping at night my love brings me into your dream world
Where it’s me and you and you and me together floating
Through the very ether of time breathing rarefied air so
Deliciously as we’re hopelessly mesmerized in true love

When I awaken from our nocturnal dream trance so joyously
We hold one another so lovingly and caress so warmly at once
We kiss passionately and longingly in a most sublime spirit while
Not missing love’s beat . . . .

Wings Of Deep Beauty

One floating away into the stars
magically opening up windows
a fairy princess flies royal
in a realm crowning regal kingdom

Dazzling beautiful moonbeam's
sparkling dew petal soft starlight
touching moments gleam diamond
caressing thoughts sweetest heart tenderly

Magic weaving ribbons spell
in desire softness shining warm light
stroking warm dusting angel feathers
enchanting lips under spell
falling kissing beauty

Sweetly waves dance
sure as the moon reflection rises
a fairy tale dream begins gleaming
She stands there motionless form
sparkling jewels spell bound blinding grace

Sweetly filled by waves emotions pop from his kiss
Pink champagne bubbles bursting flavors and roars in her blood
Sensitive skin like a stormy sea crawling warmly underneath
silver glittering dazzling in moon light reflections

A golden rain with white water lilies
Romeo and Juliet at the Opera - to be or not to be
all waves crash and land on shores
A beautiful love story under the moonlight

Paddling lonely on his lily leaf
he tasted lips the frog
But this is something bigger ...
touches heart and soul walking hand in hand
paradise a droplet of dew falls spiritually

Spiraling rippling fingers of energy
a really beautiful adventure begins
four chambers magically open up
Touching warm caressing emotions softly
inside an unknown world redeemed in light

Time has shown me this simple truth
That the light that shines from high above
makes the whole world bright
Here is the deepest secret nobody knows
Waiting to blossom at the bright coming morn

So true even in the darkest pits walking towards destiny
eternally shining forever in the house of beauty
Always warm miracle embracing
rays flutter warmly angel feathers
wings touching inside feathers of soft satin silk
Dewdrops rainbow bouquet color sun shining gold
brightly glimmering with hope

rising from out of this cold frozen wasteland

rising from out of this cold frozen wasteland—
a blanket white unfolds with pure hope and love
melting snowflakes on such a clear blue ocean
lying on the edge of a world that’s very scared

while inside this mindset unfolds a radiant light
sun shining buttercup of such special rare beauty
in every little thing and precious detail which ever
so sweetly draws me to you my love, my darling

even the sound of your soft voice echoes on
inside with such mellifluous golden whispers
sweetly enhancing the very music you sing
to me which plays magic tricks so enchanting

and hypnotizing my very soul while stealing
my heart away and bringing me under your
spell and the softness of your wonder and love
both so overwhelming and intoxicating so fully

with this our mutual joy and love so deep and
so rare makes our time together seem so endless
my love for you are so special and so right that I
must pinch myself at times to see if all this is real

and so, rising from out of this cold frozen wasteland—
our mutual spirits, souls, and emotions are now ONE
my very special enchantress since fate and love has
put us ONE on the edge of a world that’s very scared

PERCEPTION

   PERCEPTION

Before the abyss, I had it all
Letting go of all I see
My friend, I hope our time won't end
It took a short time for you to notice
Without knowing who I am
We talked, we became friends

Connecting the dots, missing every line
Connect them and figure me out
Randomly it comes your way
Underneath a never known chemistry
Ask me to stay and I may
Grinding your teeth into my way
Cut out my eyes, and store them up
A tongueless mouth, nothing to say

Maybe by tomorrow you will forget
Losing myself in my own conversation
Hiding behind my one big regret
Don't know, Don't care
You had me open up
A book I closed, knowledge lost

No need to see
A mystery called deception
What I am cannot be seen with the naked eye
Along came you using your *ucked* up perception
The ability you miss use
making sense of this connection
A process you carry with your own patterns
You asked, you listened, without making assumptions
A taste to take off my shoulders,
To release an error locked in my Asylum
I myself am enjoying the insights about him
He's got me convince, using his perception

Inscriptions

Light breezes moan through dawn's cracked window
I, wrapped in ivory silk, you as always, linger in place
Anticipating our morning ritual, sleepy desires move
Pleasured senses guide our thoughts in sync

Rhythmic expressions, elated vibrations
Fidgeting fingers lightly caress
At last the font gushes, between unfolded pages
Wherein chapters of new life begin

Spider songs

Blades of grass, wet under foot, insect eyes
Dusk, offset by the cricket orchestra
Muted and receding into the trees and bushes,
Tickled by the wind, rattling snake tail wind
While we may be in the company of wolves,
A long legged friend is late for the party

Eyes, little iridescent stars
Attending to each one, and look there,
There she is, making the most beautiful geometry
Parallels within the octagons, pulling silks
An arm for every task, little perpetual motion machine

Is that the Queen of the Night under the rusted iron?
A forlorn lady, black patent leather, kill a man, maybe two
With her danger red symmetry, oozing with youth
And a penchant for paralysis, no one can resist her wine

Then there's the hall of cob webs, threadbare handkerchiefs
Left by ladies who exhausted all of their company
To be a spectacle under the moon, in the wood pile
Dressed up in the finest furs, all earth tones
Stepping out to introduce themselves in girlish droves

Venus of another sort, these little cursed jezebels
Hovering on the skin of the water, or on the red brick wall
Must frequent every happy corner, and slip away at a moment's notice
A real lady always knows when to say goodnight
Such graceful exits through cement cracks
Back to the parlor, to glow in the dark
And they become spiders again

Tear Drops

Putting down sword of truth
falling from dark clouds true blue
feelings you draw from the deep ocean
curling waves warmly galloping
summer wind warm and moist
that love glance that moment

Emotions floating softly
upon whispering silent winds
kissing golden sands
wet freshly salted teardrops
washing your feet with love
fulfilling your heart’s wishes

Most beautiful I adore
in the name of beauty
always means forever
sweetly in the end
gazing in your eyes
touching moist lips

Love you liberate me freely
if only one could see this soul
crystals crashing to the ground
rising to the occasion with love
cherishing every moment fully
never saying goodbye

How precious shining a true treasure
touching gossamer wing longing brush
wishing in an everlasting memory
hoping always for the best
making life happen always
showing no fear ever

Memories of a love so true
wishing a life together forever
embracing each other so warmly
caressing and kissing openly
seeking fate and destiny in life
crying tear drops openly

LOST IN THE MIST

LOST IN THE MIST

Grey fingers soft as a pickpocket’s,
Soundless and sightless, have taken the sun -
Poacher in the kingdom of the blind.
Guests and ghosts of the realm steal in and out,
Cozened into thinking that
Feet pressed to the ground -
Ensure the lost land will be restored,
The theft of the sun will be recouped.

I am With You Always

I am with you always...
You think I'm far away
I'm closer than you think
I'm just a whisper away...

The breeze is my breath on your cheek
The rain is my passion that wets you
The sun is my warmth on your body
The scent of flowers, my perfume
I surround you
I touch you
I fill you

The starlight is the shine of my eyes
The moon, the fullness of my face
The sounds of nature, my voice
The stream my hands that caress

I am with you always
I'm just a thought away
A line or two of a poem
A dream for your night or day

I'm with you always...

Always
             Always
                           Always…..

                                   I am with you always....
                                                                       My love....

Enchanted Vision of Love So Pure

Enchanting deep forest sparkling magical dew
Vision of beauty takes to clouds in silver lining
Star lighting vision dancing with the shadows
Rainbow skies set to light mist of cool rain
And the warmest thoughts of you my Dear Love!

You are so very beautiful and precious My Darling
Behind the mirror your soul sings soothingly so
Stirring hotly emotional feelings and passions afire
How the passion burns the flower of flowers so rare
Regal crowning desires petals touching so softly My Dear!

Silken lips purse blushing one rose holding bright
Sunshine beams inside warm fingers of light touch
Stroking hair gently halo radiating chords deeply dance
Looking into jewels of a treasure gem shines so exquisitely
Gifted I am to have met your beautiful soul and You Too!

Over and over my heart skips beats when we caress and kiss
Beams jumping over the moon silver whispers wonderful so
Silently making love to you in every single thought of mine
Hot sexy kissing and so sensual in every inch nibbling softly
Within the deepest love inside loving you forever My Love!

POETRY FOR POETS: i own this- edition

Well hopefully you've read the last "Poetry for Poets", now here's the one I wanted to write, enjoy...

POETRY FOR POETS
(I own this- edition)

Poems
more organic than fertilizer
rooted in the shit of life
manure

Some grow wild
seeking their light
through a gnarled thicket
of images
and symbolism.
Ill watered
or sprayed with chemical defoliants
they strangle themselves,
few
managing to blossom.

Manicured
Poems thoughtfully precisely planted
to achieve optimum yield
banquet

			though occasionally
		poems require to be forged
	beaten into shape
like a horse shoe
with a few holes
	accurately placed
		ensuring they will be nailed
			to their purpose

Pruned
dead words and metaphors
selectively snipped away
stunning display

There are times when it’s best to live with your poetry
Cover yourself with its words until they stretch and become sloppery
For its comfort increases as the stanzas begin to fray
Patched elbows illuminating what you intend to say
And eventually you’ll have a poem to slip into by the fire
To savour with hot chocolate as it ignites your desire

Poems
more organic than fertilizer
flourish when tendered
with love

Writer's Block

Words tumble from my brain
like boulders down sides of mountains
where they rest for millennia,
only to be carried away by ancient tribes
building their ancient temples.

The perfect stanza has struck me
like an arrow deftly navigating an ancient forest,
only to be completely obliterated
as I awaken from my Mayan dream.

The trees of the forest cut down,
now feed their ancient pyres
upon which they burn my poems
as offerings to their ancient gods.

Archaeologists will find the ashes and line them up,
and when they are unable to decipher them,
they will toss them aside.

Rains will wash them away
into the streams that travel to the oceans,
to be snatched up by the krill
who are devoured by behemoths.

Expelled through blowholes,
carried away by winds,
joined by other words,
they become the air that I breathe.

Words inside oxygen, oxygen inside molecules,
enter the bloodstream, travel to the brain
and wait patiently to tumble out, again.

The Surface of Things

Raindrops don’t know themselves,
only becoming aware
when freed of their teardrop forms;
becoming the surface of things,
surrendering,
tracing the rounded stone,
the languid curve of a blade of grass.

Raindrops caressing the skin,
washing upon our teary faces,
disguising our sadness with their own.

Their rounded bellies reflecting
upside-down worlds,
raindrops, a millionfold,
mirroring each other,
as we are mirrored
in each other’s eyes.

This unified sacrifice,
dangling on precipice of cloud,
as each breaks, as hearts break.

A Perfect Storm

In an open field of endless, noiseless distance,
Rolling clouds cast an impending gloom;
A welcomed and promised darkness descends.
My eyes shut as I breathe in the aroma,
In anticipation of
The cleansing that quickly approaches.
I cloak myself in the breeze, as it promises a release..
The cool wind, calming, so gently serene...
Sweeping over my overheated skin.
Finally, the fury is perfectly unleashed down upon me.
The winds, gusting in a frenzied rush
My hair whipping haphazardly around,
Stinging at my face.
I smirk toward the sky, as I silently, but eagerly
Await the onslaught -
This desperate release that I longed for in secret.
It sought me out, and found me.
I hear the angry sounds
The roaring, begging to weep alongside me.
When suddenly, the violent tears begin to fall
With a sudden, breathtaking destructiveness.
The thunder, like me, cries out in pain,
With such sadness, angry liquid bathing the parched earth.
It saturates my face, my body drenched.
As I stand in the midst of the deluge, in awe,
Crashing winds attempt to destroy me,
But cannot find the strength.
Until the tears eventually run dry,
The painful clashes and cries become silent..
The skies yield to light, as the great and
Terrible sun demands to be seen.
I open my tear-stained eyes,
And glimpse a different world before me...
Cleansed and made new.
And I cannot understand, nor
Fathom the reality...
Of the beautifully, perfect
Broken release.

The Candy Store

The little girl stood outside the candy store
Pressing her nose against the window
Her lips wet
Trying hard to swallow
What the sight of those candies
Produced in abundance in her mouth...
The liquid anticipation of taste

It had been a long time
Since a candy
Had slowly dissolved
On her playful tongue
Oh, the bliss
Yet she knew….
She could not have one

She looked longing at one particular kind
Her friend had given her just a lick of
Oh…it was so divine
She wanted one…all to herself
Not to share with anyone
To savor…..alone
To savor…long
Tasting every single flavor
That would burst on her tongue
How she wanted it
To fill her mouth with sticky sweetness
To help her forget
The bitterness of her days and nights
A little tear trickled down her cheek

Slowly she pulled herself away
And trudged on past the candy store
Perhaps, she was just not meant
To have certain treats
She smiled through her tears
As she kicked a stone aside
Now that she had seen it
At least she could dream
Of floating away
On sugary cotton candy clouds
Of wispy pink
Savoring in her mouth
the glorious sweetness
Of her forbidden treat

Solitude

Solitude

Walking alone
Often outside
In deep thought
About things of
Great importance.

I wonder aloud
Thoughts amassed
Priorities now
Solutions not clear
Seeking inspiration.

Time’s fleeting
Which is always
Tied to many
Dynamic actions
Begging resolution.

I stop now—
And look heavenward
Solutions abound
Choices are difficult
I’m staying focused.

Use my intuition
Request divine help
Do Nothing
Take your pick
Nothing’s easy.

My soul’s focus
Trust yourself—
First and foremost
God speaks silently
Do it now!

Burning Flesh part 1

Things begin turning around and very
slowly they take a nasty foreboding twist
as Hell's Dragon has not breathed yet
a deep burning fire melting red his eyes
dripping blood upon fury and destruction
pumping inside the uncontrollable fire
equal to that of a thousand steamboats
and only he sleeps in the dark dungeons.

Chained and suffering in utter Hellfire
chained in untold torment and anguish
unleashed he would burn your heart no less
in a flash—while scorching all to nothingness
fried black from the deepest ashes falling
cold silently sleeping with wings on fire and
chained to love’s weakness as the dark fables say:
Do Not Call Upon This Beast—He’s The Devil’s Own.

Hell’s Dragon stirs inside with tongues of flames
lashing with the pains of hate to strike all now
leaving hottest cinders and funeral pyres a plenty
it’s now the Devil’s very moment to unleash His Evil,
His Demon Dragon upon the saintly and the pure
and the precious doing their good works and all
and unsuspecting of the malevolence awaiting them.

The Devil enters afresh the earthly plane once more and
releases His Dragon to inflict harm and to upset
God’s celestial equation of peace, harmony, and light—
bringing death, destruction, and retribution to all in
its flight path while breathing out the harshest and
cruelest and hottest flames of fiery perfidy in the
name of Lucifer—Himself laughing boisterously at God
all the while not knowing the coming angelic answer.

The Almighty Lord works indeed in the most mysterious
of ways and He will not let his Fallen Angel Lucifer (or
“The Devil” on Earth) have His way by murdering
innocents through His Dragon proxy only too willing to
serve His Master to bring horrible hideous death to all
of mankind who fall within its flight path and intention
to inflict the most treacherous and dastardly plan of
of unmitigated death and horror ever to be unleashed.

Continued burning flesh 2

Existence

"the earth's dark veil slivered the heaven's,

Existence

"the earth's dark veil
slivered the heavens,
 crimson shadows
birthed the moon"

into a thousand crescents
Every prayer, ever uttered
was written in the dust of
these forsaken ravines
Oceans flung their waters
into the wide heavens
of man's total Regret
There in the silent void
of consequence
the hidden forces of
Creation met
to silently knit
each shattered Atom
 of beauty
into existence again

Oh sweet rose

Beautiful rose
covered in
your petal finery
sweet silken
satin soft feelings
singing in praise
touching deeply inside

Gentle heart
of sweetness
tenderness flows
from your sweet
scenting aroma
floats inside
the scent

Heavenly emotions
enchanting beauty
looking amazing
red in passion
hot soft whispering
pink blushing
orange warm
as the sun beams glow

Dressed in white
you crown angels
petals softly
Whispers flow
on scented air
words inside
I love you

Kissing and hugging
my love deeply darling
surrendering to you
without doubt
purest rose

I trust
from the petals
into my heart
a crowning jewel
you are queen
amongst flowers
amazingly baby

Precious Shell

Rose-veined, you opened the heart vein in me
as I crested each white wave of grief.
Nipple-rosy, you suckled sadness like mother milk;

miraculous, whorled in warm salt waters -
small sea-curled shell, rocked by my body's waves.
When sea-voiced songs swirled into the pearled

shell of your ear did you hear
my breeze blown words, wave-whispered?
Small, balled conch of cute, ocean floating

but clam-clamped to the placental shore,
tethered by a soft seaweed sway.
Little love limpet, lodged forever

beneath my heart's carapace -
a memory mollusc
clinging to my dry driftwood days.

Musical Torment - The Infamous Masterpieces

Torturing me with touches
I feel the sting of hardened and lasting lust
Touches not of mortal fingers,
But Halloween-haloed strings composed by musicians of mystery
Pressing upon my back--yes! A searing, yet melodi-errotic strike
All upon me, yet far from me...

Leave me not in the judgement of my own scrambling feelings
Rest not away as I hold my hands out in the dark
Deathly dances are visions heaven-bound for the duo--
Yet for the solo- a blank, useless measure...

The pulsing silence of amateur-stitched love rattles me
Making rhythms giggle in my mind
Intervals of idiocy tormenting all reason
Truly an agonizing, but for others--minor--prison
Is the smile that helped design those strings
Those strings that pluck upon my spine
Controlling me in a dark place stuck between tunes and time

Why are your hands so cold when you play those piano keys?
Why are your lungs so eroded with the pride that taints the songs you sing?
Why have the rhythms gone awry, and why does your apathetic dissonance thrive?

And tell me… through it all…
As you compose the rise and fall…
Why is all this destruction you created so vibrantly alive?

YOU MAN

You Man

-a request by Mam Aiyah

You as a man can fill up this world
With the love of your heart,
Let them flow into your veins
As the oxygen of your spirit
Goes into the lungs of your kindness

You as a man can share the thoughts of your brain,
Even though your memory is not that enough to complete the story
Let your axon abound and connect to the spinal cord of your dreams

You as a man can smile with your lips
Let there be a good quotes for every word
Of your mouth as they slip,
Swallow all the sorrows,
Cut the sadness of your teeth, make them fly away

You as a man can show your eyes with happiness,
Mix this with inspirations
As they blink in with visionaries

You as a man can smell the fragrance of nice posture
Strain the bad from good using your cilia,
As your thumb and index made it concrete
And threw them at a distance

You as a man can hear solutions,
Can fight all the negative pictures
With your muscles in your skeleton,
You can build a problem killer device
Energy is your emotions,

You as a man can face all of your knotty points
You can hold the sky,
As your feet stay on the ground…
Because you as a MAN,
Is H U M A N…

- Dancing Notes For Love -

Kissing deep beats fluttering dancing on a breathless whisper
A snowdrop falls on the lips melt slowly kiss you beautiful
The whisper of your voice, the warmth of your kiss and touch
If love is to be true not even a kiss can tear us apart

Warmly held under the moon smiling beams brightly shining
Love is not a game of the heart where the truth is preserved
Loving an angel flying grace inside lit up one of a thousand stars
In silence stars twinkle but in the distance we overhear the ocean plays its song

Magical sprinkling all stardust trails confetti sparkles flashing
I look into your eyes your heart and your soul like a ray of sunlight
Silver reflections casting shadows out enchants winks spotlights a dream
The stars would shower me with stardust of your smile

Paved jungle

We are living in such a paved jungle!
There are miles of concrete and sidewalks
There are skylights and many skyscrapers,
but we really have to pay attention!
At any corner are waiting: snakes, lions and tigers.
Oh poor walker, can't really enjoy peace and hope ...
It is just the pursuit of happiness!
It's just a struggle for better!
There is just one solution to this crisis,
to eradicate the beasts of our society
and then transform it in a paved garden.
Doing so, the peace and hope will settle in forever.

Star Gazer

When she smiled at him ----

   the world could wait,

   with its myriad of contradictions

   and infinite postures to feigned joy;

there could be no deceit in her light....

That gorgeous assurance that he was as alive

   as the vast heartbeat of the cosmos;

what a whetted pulse to quicken and burst

   upon the shoulders of stars,

   and saddle comets to flame....

ride the rays of the sun....

As a child again under the spell of ice cream,

   shiny-toy and heroic dream;

   the world could wait,

   (when she smiled at him)
