Thank You For This Bounty, God

Thank you for this bounty, God
that you give to me
for grain that grows within the field
and fruit upon the tree
Thank you for the little seeds
that in the spring are sown
and with your gifts of sun and rain
have through the summer grown
Thank you for the farmers, Lord
and bless them for their toil
as now they gather in the fall
this bounty from your soil

This was inspired by Brian Strands' Harvest Hymn Contest, which I unfortunately missed
but I wanted to share it with you today and dedicate it to Brian for the inspiration and
support he gives to us here at the Soup. RG

Sonnet 18 Parody

Shall I compare thee to a winter’s day?
Thou art much more shrivelled and much more cold
Rough winds shake the withered leaves of today.
And your stomach hath too many a fold.

Sometimes too hot your sister shines,
And often is your grey complexion dimmed;
And you always smell like my uncle’s swine
Except your upper lip is less well trimmed.

Thy eternal summer did long since fade
And lost possession of that fair thou ow'st;
And Satan brag thou wand'rest in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou grow'st,
So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives death to eyes.

ALL SHE WILL BE NEEDING

She smells of stale garbage and wine
Her boots all worn and tattered
Stern-faced and stony eyes
Dressed in a tired ol' mink
She shivers as she takes a rest
From pushing her metal cart
Squeaking and overflowing with
Items reflecting her life
She had been warned twice to move
The choice was not hers to make

Today, like all the others
She will walk ten blocks or so
In hope to find a warmer place
To lay down for the night
Just a corner to rest
Is all she will be needing
She knows this will be over soon
The pain gets worse each day
Yet, her hopes live on for one more day
Her deliverance is on its way!

two squirrels'

Two squirrels gathering nuts and foraging in the woods.
Scurrying about sniffing and prodding things weren't looking to good.
A storm was a coming so frantically they searched.
All the while an owl looked on watching on his branch perch.

He being the wisest of all the creatures spoke and said to the squirrels.
"Quit going so fast the things you need are over by the farmers barrels."
The little ones listened and went to the barnyard.
Seeing this opened barrell they saw kernels of corn scattered around in discard.

Excited they accomplished there task of gathering, rushing to an fro they had a stockpile.
Almost an hour later they were set for the winter it would last a long time.
Thanking the owl bellies full strored food for the winter they were ready to hibernate.
All was well the food for the family secured the chilling winter they would escape.

Stockpile a idea we should learn from the insects, critters, they store to survive.
They see a brighter future for their species they are truly alive.
How about you? Carnal man do you think ahead? Do you save?
Do you store blessings from your Creator following His laws and strive to behave?

Our faith, hope, and dreams allow "us" to have a choice and scurry to find God's edicts?
Stockpiling "Blessings" in the book of life you can give your life a spiritual gift.
Even the squirrels know when it is time to stockpile even though they run only on instinct.
Carnal man can reason animals can't, who is smarter the animals or man, it is very distinct.

Instilled With This

Dust covered crawled like worms, had no concern
Found on ground ripened apple’s bitter juice
Digging in gluttony without discern
Dark heart in matter chooses wrong produce

Climb from trunk to branches long journey true
Building without rest to sleep in cocoon
While feeding on nourishment from fruit grew
Rise from sleep to sail high sky like balloon

Christian Cross

Head hung low, I walk the street-
Timid to feel the hangman's loss-
Every step on my blistered feet-
Takes me closer to, the Christian cross-
With every second, my soul does exhaust-
Heat-ridden cheeks from tears I cry-
Hide my eyes my shame is discreet-
Explain to me God, why must I die?

You say the hunger game I did cheat-
I see on that hangman's rope your hands across-
How close I was to starvation beat-
Why must I die for naught but sauce-
On bread instead of my usual moss-
I hope you see my little child cry-
Although to you unjust is a treat-
Hold him God on the day he will die-

With my head hung low, I walk the street-
My family will feel the hangman;s loss-
No more will I walk upon these blistered feet-
Family go, live your life by the Christian Cross-
For my soul is tired, don't let your life exhaust-
My dear sweet loved ones there is no need to cry-
No more reason for you to stand all so discreet-
I am happy at last, on the day that I die-

I will live the rest of my life upon a Christian's Cross-
These murderers relax themselves on their own lie-
In a few short moments I won't feel anymore loss-
I will lift up my head and all so proudly I will die-

just breathing

When life takes hold of you no mercy given
Foreclosures popular , the new age to walk ..driven
        When your nerves are shattered
The home you live in seems scattered

           Just breathe ~

children don't understand why you can't give money on the daily
life feels cold and The bills are unbearable to open it seems
When there is not enough food in the pantry for all
you feel you are losing as you begin to fall , loose sight of dreams

            Just breathe ~

All these things are a test , every breath that counts.
It's the faith, and will to live , as anxiety mounts
In your darkest hour just call on his power
with the help of God above , you will surmount.

A PLATE OF PROSPERITY

For days at a time there is nothing to eat,
There is no where to sleep.
Hunger is a social condition.
It is a horrible physical way of living.
It leads to malnutrition, famine, and starvation.
It is a plaque and epidemic in poor nations.
First off there is so many children and adults with improper diets or nutrition.
Hunger affects about a sixth of the world's total population.
Why can't we get together, and try to feed the poor,
If we all came together as a whole we can do more.
Let's pray poverty away
We have to make this dark cloud of hunger into a brighter day.
Due to hunger more than 1 die each second.
So to eat a plate of food now days is a blessing.
About 750,000 suffer from hunger due to financial restrictions.
So now I ask you how are we Americans living?
But if we were all well-fed,
Let us not forget about the homeless, because half of us go hungry to our beds.

Matthew 5:6 “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be
satisfied.

Work

Work.
Toil.
The pain I put in the ground.
For such a precious thing.
Corn.
The family enjoys their meal.
They plant their leftover kernels.
And wait for me to tend to them.
Work.
An endless cycle in which happiness is born.

God Sleeps

God must be sleeping now as the dog dreams

He mumbles help me as he is thrown into the ring

As he is bitten his tears of hope cry

I was happy to run and my mothers paws

God must be sleeping now as the addict waits for her trick

She opens the car door and wonders where did I turn

Her Father drank and beat her Mother

I was happy kicking cans and hiding and seeking

God must be sleeping now as the mother stands the line

Waiting her chance to speak and get the dole

Her children screaming and no food or goodies

I was happy playing with dolls and doctor was my downfall

Allah must be sleeping as the Taliban beat the solo women

She cries for pity as the men strike her with the club

She wears the burqa and prays for America

I was happy playing in the fields with my brother

God must be sleeping as the old woman has her pocketbook snatched

Her social security money gone as the food she will eat

Sitting on the ground thinking and praying and no answer

She was happier even when her husband lay dying and alone

God must be sleeping as the Earth quakes and tsunami

The wave crashes over the homes of the unsuspecting

The wife being torn from her husbands arms never seen again

To death came to part and the happiness too

God slept on the seventh day as he was tired

The people constantly praying for his wonders

His world in ruins as mankind molest his children

He was happier when he walked the gardens of Eden

A day in the near future

What dark force wears the devil’s mark (666)
And bites those thrown off “Noah’s Ark”?
Dragging sweets through the mud
While chomping for blood...
A bully is like a white shark*

*Only white sharks have better table manners, and so in the tradition of Emily Post—the innocent eventually rise up and seek justice—and use knives (and forks and spoons)!

This poem was inspired by Laura Breidenthal's recent poem entitled "666".

One Wish

As I close the door behind me… I stand upon the porch.
Every day I leave here… becomes so much more bitter sweet.
I found the money yesterday so I could pay my note,
But what about next month or the others sure to come.
I raised my children faithfully under this old roof, and…
Memories abound, like the raindrops that hit upon my roof.
Yes, I admit leaving here will cause a little pain.
But the day-to-day struggles have striped away the gain.
Where once I held on steadfast… now I waiver on that thought.
Instead of seeing comfort, now it’s the struggles I have fought.
The food upon the table… outweighs the comfort of this house.
But yet, my heart still bleeds for what will soon be lost.
How to tell the children… it will be hard at its very best.
I’m sure they’ll rail against it and cause me more pain, yet.
But I can’t expect them to understand, this old grownups shame.
I promised to protect them… so today I’ll continue on my search
A job or a little money may pop up from anywhere, you know.
All I have to do is keep my feet planted firmly on the ground.
God will provide eventually, even if it’s a step, or two, or three down.
Every day as I close the door behind me and I stand upon this porch…
I say a little prayer and add a little wish…
May tomorrow find us better off than here we are today…
And may others please be helped like us… as we try to make our way.

we never looked back

Miriam

My sister Miriam lights the Sabbath flame
maiden is she with tumbled hair uncovered.
She strikes the match and prays for G-d's acclaim.

Like Sara in the tent she lights the flame
pristine hands in front of two eyes hovered.
My sister Miriam lights the Sabbath flame

At sunset each flickering flame frames
a wish for communion, peace discovered,
she strikes the match and prays for G-d's acclaim.

The table is set, the family exclaim,
the challah's cut, the shofar uncovered.
My sister Miriam lights the Sabbath flame.

May peace and tranquility ever reign
from sunset to sunrise rediscovered,
she strikes the match and prays for G-d's acclaim.

This great mitzvah is sister Miriam's aim
since the dawn of time this act's recovered.
My sister Miriam lights the Sabbath flame.
She strikes the match and prays for G-d's acclaim.

Dedicated to my baby sister Miriam who protects and serves.

Thanksgiving

Talk turkey; talk turkey
It's Thanksgiving day.
Fill up your mouths
the Thanksgiving way.

Gobble down; gobble down
meat and red berries.
Some adding gravy
for flavour that varies.

White mashed potatoes
hollowed in boats.
Filled with yellow butter
that warms 'till it floats.

Turnip and parsnip
mixed in together.
Tangy mild flavour
that lasts forever.

Green tiny peas
piled on the side;
covered in butter
in tears they have cried.

All for the price of a prayer
to say thanks
and gathering our friends
in a place that is nice.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Completely it has almost spread round the world
Telling you, this is all there be existing

Preying on all, there is no righteous soul left
Intentions of thee to leave all you bereft
Molding ye a fruitless pattern of death
The Creator does say, their will be a theft

Endurance of faith in the One you should trust
Turn away you all, from fleshly mortal lust
The more men turn on you the more you will see
Follow thee path of Jesus Christ does be just

Your Presence

Your presence I feel oh so near, it help me to relieve
some of my fears of all my everyday cares, I feel your
presence eveywhere. Whenever I walk down the street,
I can feel the patter of your feet. I can feel you walking
next to me telling tales of what I mean to you and thinking
about all the things we used to do.

Your presence is so close, it's as if I can smell your fragrance
right under my nose. I am thinking of your smiling face all
next to mines, telling me how you will love me until the
end of time. Your presence is oh so strong and as I travel
throughout this day it lingers on. When I decide to stop and
dine, it's as though I feel your hand right next to mines.

When I sat down to eat, I can see your eyes staring into
mines, and you sitting there sipping on some wine.
Your presence means so much to me and this is the
way I want it to always be, me feeling you and you
feeling me until forever and eternity.

PROGRESS- Christmas Toys and Joys

PROGRESS
CHRISTMAS TOYS AND JOYS

The toys in the shops today are different from the past,
with electronics replacing bat and ball.
Even parents get in the mix, and children need be fast,
if they want to play with their new toys at all.

Back-yard cricket is forgotten when the Wii comes on the scene.
Virtual sports replace the games we know.
Invisible balls are slashed at when hit towards the screen
and a cartoon rival hits it back to you.

These rivals in the TV Box will play with you alone,
or you can play with a friend by your side.
Sometimes a couch potato gets up to play and groan,
but keen to join the game with a swing that’s wide.

The DS, Xbox and the PSP keep everyone amused
with puzzles for the brains of young and old.
There’s Pokemon and Mario forever been renewed,
played with concentration; fingers quick and bold.

But the games are put aside when we are called to table;
no fast food today it’s Christmas fare for all.
There’s turkey, pudding, pies and cakes to eat if we are able,
then we often fall asleep on the lounge, or in the hall.

But lives, when shared with others are better for the sharing,
with memories created and sent across the miles.
These keep us going when we feel alone, with no one caring,
then we see their photos; remember friendships and we smile.

two

water melon in my garden
like the sun and moon
just two…
”...launcher ready…”
steady my hand
tending the weeds
near a row of beans
a far away land
”...it’s not a good time…”
so I wondered
and thought of when
wars are just plays
staged in the hands
of writers like me…
I’d arm the nations
with radish leaves
squash for bullets
that unload seeds
Peanuts money
on my jelly spread
I’d share the health
giving lettuce, head…
”... is it a good time now?...”
who wants a cow
chickens grown
in crowded pens
suffering blows
in.human.e hands
glitters the water
between the corn
I’d sale on ships
into rosebud shores
and i’d grow my fish
in between the stores
”...I’m god in my garden…”
and I divide the rows
soing what suits me
in tomato groves
and near my basil
I’ll build a school
teaching the mint
just how to be cool
and over hear
the potatoes anchor
on stalks of beer
”...wellcome…”
to chi…
banana central
read booms of cheer
...but they say I’m mental.
lentils
are sooo good in soup!
my capitals
I declare are true!
I only cook
When I brew my stew…
and no one regrets
in the garden of Sue.
”...yes piglet…”
I was Just
Making sure of you.

Give To Receive

The cost be a benefit to charity I speak of
A bid for mercy a reward from He thee Almighty One
All who have fallen give in faith, so that they receive
Unseen is this present, only in spirit they understand
Selfish desires lost through forgiveness He has answered
Foolish to many the choice that was made obviously right
Turning of a page frees the once monetized slave
His life was the price but still there be strife humbling to most
A ghost now made Holy given to them headed down
This frown now turned to a smile that last for an eternity

Let life win for now

Let life win for now... when your head sadly down.
Let life win for now... when your chips are down,
Let life win for now... when you can’t speak a sound,
Let life win for now... win when you just getting up off the ground
and life nocks you back down.

Let life win for now, as you standing in free line,
when your gut is light to get a bite
to keep you up right to win the battles of life.

But be poise and patient for those who step in your way, your enemy,
your unknown rival... Let life pave the way
therefore what you had good then and do not have now

Let life win for now, because life knows what comes around.

Christmas Everywhere

Is it Christmas everywhere?
Christmas parties and stuffed teddy bears.
Songs of merry Christmas delight.
Snow covered rooftops glowing at night.
Gifts of sparkling diamond rings.
Christmas memories and special things.
Holiday feasts and decorated doors.
Chocolate covered cherries, Oh! Give me more.
Trips to the mall to buy gifts galore.
Paying with plastic I depleted my stash.
Let us make a loan I need more cash.
Is it Christmas everywhere?
Are you sure without a doubt?
Because some poor child this Christmas will be without.
Give hope and love.
Give prayers and faith.
For those lonesome people on this Christmas day.
Is it Christmas eerywhere?
With war overseas?
People dying and starving,
and no shoes to cover their feet.
Is it Christmas everywhere, with so much poverty?
Families who go hungry, with nothing much to eat.
What about the homeless and natural disaster stricken lands?
It would make this Christmas merry for the wealthy to lend a hand.
With death and crying, and cold and mourning,
an unfortunate road to a path with no glory.
Oh! What a very sad Christmas story.
My home is my castle that shelters me,
but don't forget the homeless that beg on the street.
So, make this Christmas merry if you're able to give.
Share your heart with someone and allow them to live.
The best Christmas will be without a doubt,
God will bless you for giving to those who are without.

THE WISHING WELL OF A SUN-RISE,

It is...within the tiny things of early morning, that moment breaths alive, it is within the tiny whisperings, that a melodye plays...like the very dear and the antelope, play home on the range.

so goes the melodye of heart beat, that plays quietly the songs of soul,

here a rhyme is born of day-light coming so soon, through the early morning eyes of the moon-light, and the starry dreams of twilight's transitioning...

into the light of a love letter written to dawn.

soul to soul conversing, as in this love letter, the letters just join hands with the words and just march across the sky...and at the end of the rainbow, there be plenty of golden time,

way down deep on the inside,

...as the inspired choir, of a bumble bee, or a butterfly, starts to sing, like tiny things that live,

flower to flower,
blossom to bloom,

watered and deeply cared for...

O' Eden.

I say, deep beneath the surface of a wishing well...where the pennies lay,

I wish a sun-rise.

Outside Of The Box

This is a tale for you regarding Pandora and the box.
Here we find an attempt to put back on the lock
A trip back to Alexandria in your mind we must go
Trying to protect but you can’t turn back the clock

What had tried to be sealed is not what one expect
Only wanting to keep others from trying to dissect
The library was vast holding knowledge long passed
Gallant was the attempt though evil did misdirect

Someone had already check out these 365 books
See the flames raised high the city did overcook
Spread them north and east so ordered the beast
Because at the Star he did not want you to look

Homeless

Please help me today!!
I have walked for so long my body aches.
I travel these roads with my big back pack.
I wish that I had my old life back.
Life dealt it's cards in one short day.
I lost it all but I will be okay.
I carry this cross along the way.
I'm tired of this journey but I have hope.
I clutch my bible, a way to cope.
My cardboard box shields my head from the rain.
I have nothing to lose and nothing to gain.
I walk through the seasons of hot and cold,
with no promises to keep and no one to hold.
I'm lonely and tired and I feel so weak.
Days go by with nothing to eat.
Teardrops fall and I wipe them away.
I have no one to call and nothing to say.
I close my eyes and begin to sleep.
No dreams tonight on this hot city street.

It is very real. Is this really America? For those who don't notice are those who don't care.
America has a real heartbreaking problem that needs to be fixed.

The Grace To Grow

The Grace To Grow

Through peril in its intact
We have every reason by which to over react
The Grace to grow;
Many a shoulder to cry inflate the ego

Through our hard stance with fate
We lock our doors & protect out faith
In long lines at the store lest I emplore
Shades of trim left for me to begin

In oscillating ivory towers a man from Mars
The Grace to grow
From a little seed next the full grain blown to harvest once again
We can plant a seed deep enough through troubled waters come among

Shades of gems crimsome with rubbies
The cedar as a way of illumination
Perhaps I'm in need of a break on some long awaited vacation?
The Grace to grow

Happy Thanksgiving

Having family and turkey is the sauce for the dressing.
All together giving warm wishes and especially blessing.
Prayers are the dearest thing to share even if apart.
Prayers whether said out loud or quietly in your heart.
Your spirit shared with others is a great gracious start.

Take heed of what you have been given each day that you live.
Heaven hears every word and thought that your soul does give.
Answers don’t always come the way we desire them too.
Never underestimate that they are heard above the blue.
Kingdoms of glory have no monetary goal to claim.
Spirits blessed in honor and true love has no shame.
God is here, he hears, yes he is alive though many doubt.
Insincerity of your inner peace will have no known clout.
Victory of all that will be given comes from your heartfelt soul.
Insecurity of your spirit shall defeat and buries your life’s’ goal.
Now warm your essences with peace and love for humanity.
God has set forth a plan for his glory and our life-forces eternally.

bursting busty rose tomatoes
clutching lettuce clusters
bulbous purple eggplants
hiding in green velvet
from the burning touch of sun
another cold wet morning
but hope has turned to promise
and the planting has begun

Straight To To The Top

Lets raise our hands and all rejoice
Allow the world to hear our voice

This time of year the work never ends
We join together and help our friends

That’s how the Lord would have it be
I offer help to you, you offer help me

We are working together hand in hand
Because our harvest shall feed the land

Praise the Lord I want it to show
Jesus is the harvester of my soul

Jesus is now who harvest my crop
From the bottom straight to the top

Written for Brian's contest. Being from
a farming County the Harvest is very
dear to me. Last year I missed it due
to my back, this year I'm in school. I
think I'll go out on the weekend and
work a few hours for free just so I can
remain a part of something that I love
so much. Nothing like the smell of the
harvest in the morning, waiting on the
dew to dry so you can roll up in the Rice.
God I do miss the long days of honest
work but the Lord is Harvesting my life
in a new direction.

He is {our dearest friend}

He is everything good inside you and I
The alpha and omega the earth and the sky

He forgives our trespass as well as our thoughts
Don't get confused for he can't be bought

He is the planets as well as the stars
I first found him inside prison bars

He is all that has been or could ever be
The sun and the moon the sky and the sea

He is the beauty we see in a flower
He created the universe with all of it's power

He is the teacher who teaches us best
He forgives us our sins and offers us rest

He is the one who offered his Son
To forgive us of things that we have done

For he is love in it's truest form
The comfort inside that makes us feel warm

He gives unto us the right to choose
The ultimate choice of win or lose

When you feel lonely and full of despair
Comfort is waiting in a single prayer

He is the one thing from which we can't hide
For he is the spirit that lives inside

He is the beginning as well as the end
For he truly is "our dearest friend"

Strength Through Struggle

Your path may be rocky and tough right now. But one day soon, He’ll show you how, to seek His comfort and His love. It’s time to pray to God Above. You’ve been given “Wings” to help you fly. Now’s not the time to question why. Accept with gratitude the gifts you’re shown, and simply know, you’re not alone! His Angels are working, both day and night, to comfort you and relieve your fright. You’ve gone through some suffering and some pain. Now it’s your time to come in from the rain. With open arms they welcome you, Alone or with children, but there’s work to do. Awaken each day and see these gifts. Then share yours with others and your spirits will lift. For through His Grace you have a new day, But remember to thank Him as you pray. One day you will fully see your place, And know that through struggle, you’ll soon see His Grace!

Time And Chance

Time And Chance “11 I have seen something else under the sun: The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favor to the learned; but time and chance happen to them all. 12 Moreover, no one knows when their hour will come: As fish are caught in a cruel net, or birds are taken in a snare, so people are trapped by evil times that fall unexpectedly upon them.” Phil 3:18-21 NIV The race is not won by the swift, Nor is the battle won by the strong. Wealth is not given to the brilliant, Nor food to the wise belong. Favor is not given to the learned And death not claimed only by the old. Men are trapped by evil ‘Til their bodies grow still and cold. Time And Chance affect all mankind— No man knows when his hour will come. Wisdom belongs to God; All wisdom above and under the sun. Time And Chance are in His hands; Many simply must comply. God builds up or breaks down; Kings and nations to occupy. Fools are placed in high positions, And the rich are often laid low. Is everything understood by man? How does God work on earth below? If clouds are full of water, They pour rain upon the earth. But man is a mystery; Time And Chance not in his death or birth. We do not understand the hand That makes the seed spring forth; How the human body is formed, Or how the womb gives birth. Time And Chance are the equation That only God does know. Man is truly ignorant of how Time And Chance works here below. © Copyright 2012 Maureen LeFanue www.maureenlefanue.com

Not By Bread Alone (Religious Epulaeryu)

O, to sweat, one must commit
For Earth’s scented wheat--
Taste good, even, without meat
Yet live, not by it
Alone, but must eat
God’s fruits, sweet--
 Eat!

Angel

                                                                   Angel

From a distance the sound of feathers
A whole host of words often whispered
As if you haven't already heard his saving message
In bitter silence we slowly become unshackled
From this lying bitter place of cold ego's
Then angel spreads her wings out on windows peak
She then keeps silent from inside her swell;
At its cold whispers haunting to dwell
Many keep to themselves not wanting to be alone
Then a cold chill sends a rage down my spine tingling like off the vine
In time the sun heats up out on waters edge devides
Many a demon would so often run away & hide
Angels totally surrenders out on its night scene
A brandished web of forbidden design,
For some the angel would lie in wait to deceive
In triumphant sounds of musical magestic beings light the scene
We our still here to help egnite its flame
While the entire world outside lies helplessly insane
Out on its playing field some have no game,

When our generation dies so does the other,
The angel of darkness will seek to inhabit its light
Shackled from a memory on a certain quest nor plight

A Simple Grace

This world can look like an evil place;
Where a man is judged by money, colour or race.
When a child is broken by a ‘human being’
Yet the judge decides the evidence ‘not worth seeing’

This world can sound like we’re knocking on hell’s gate
Innocence like venison, on the guilty man’s plate
This world can feel like a kind of hell
All who hurt have a story to tell
But this world is still a beautiful place,
To those who have nothing - yet still say grace

Pink Slime

Pink Slime, Pesticides
And chicken thighs bigger than my thighs

And we wonder why there is an increase
in learning disabilities among children today
I say it’s because the process, that the food is processed and grown and raised, is
compromised by demand, money, greed or fame.
I do understand that demand is high
so we have to do somethin’

So to compete, we inject hormones into the very animal or plant that is sold for consumption
So now we eat these hormones and our bodies are stressed because of the added pesticides and herbicides and other sh#! that’s hard to digest

I mean what’s really the cause?
There’s more kids with disabilities today than there ever was
I say it’s because like the story is told in the verses, that knowledge is increasing in man and the result is not what He purposed.

Pink Slime and Pesticides..We’re eating stuff that’s been chemically grown inside…and chickens bigger than my thighs

The New Kingdom

Can anyone on this planet see that many unexplained occurrences are happening?
Can a group of scientist, agriculturist, solve the worlds food problem?
Can anyone control the weather?
Can anyone truly say they can make the world better?

Can we sustain food supply to the millions starving?
Can we in good conscience think this through without it being alarming?
Can a world facing over population, pandemics, and wars survive?
Can do. This is what our Savior Jesus said if we are to remain alive.

You see man has the power if he adheres to God’s laws and allow our Spiritual Father in.
Love, consideration love for your fellow humans, we alone allows the Holy Spirit in.
God’s edicts will stand the test of time. This belongs to God. He sees, hears, knows all, happenings are explained.
Today now you can know the Father, just ask, be fearful of God, His road map, His heavenly signs, His truths remain.

Can say this, the Bible says, “Prove all things?”
Can do a motto, a search, a loving gift to all human beings?
Don’t be fooled confusion is the devil’s way.
Soon’ Peace, love, a new kingdom. Don’t worry it’s more about the devil’s pay day.

Our Father will see to it that every fear, every sorrow will disappear.
The conditions are simple; Love your God with all your heart and soul, live as if to hear.
Keep your vigilance, pray for His will be done.
As we lovingly spiritually see His Kingdom comes.

The evil one cast to His predicted end into the pit.
His legions, His followers, will be cast to the depths, and we will be better off because of this.
Our new Kingdom on earth will be with the Father and Jesus.
A loving caring peaceful earth, a gift from the Father we can go and talk to the Almighty, A Spiritual gift for us.

TRUE BLUE OF THE DEEP

....simply beautiful... it is of beauty to simply write such love letters of poetry, letters joining hands within a sky of words setting a background, upon the "Sea", setting sail.. within a wordsong, as playing winds, just swirl around beautifully of air, that blows a kiss to an angeled choir to sing in perfect key, life, the spice, the scented beauty of a rose in full bloom, the scented beauty of a heart beat, beating in time, with rhyme being so kind hearted and true blue of the deep.

The Common Good

            The Common Good

Rice pudding with cinnamon serves the common good
Razor blades on wrists do not
Utility of perfection is perfected knowing God and nature
Playing with the devil and dark forces ends in dread
Of course ice cream is still delicious when served cold
Arsenic is not nutritious or so we’re told
Naturally sex is fun and should be taken under advisement
Leaping from a plane without a parachute has unpleasant consequences
Walking on pavements is a solid, concrete and more constructive thing to do
Leaving babies in hot cars to fry is still a crime
It is better to sleep through life if you are so inclined
Doing good, being well, is always within your grasp
But someone, probably you, will have to cut the grass
It is keeping up the neighborhood
For the common good; like cinnamon and pudding

A DRINK IN THE MORNING

Coffee in a cup, makes a cup of coffee;
just as an aroma from within, makes the air,

smell of flowers in the spring

...blossoms,
blooms,

time,

...a sweet thing, like sugar cane is to the tasting,
and the tasting is to stirring the dream,
flavor,

making flavored coffee
soul,

a drink in the morning.

In the Air

When at last we reached our bipedal stage
we stood with fists raised in the air
We bowed to the brightest stars in the sky
as we worshiped both heaven and earth

We chanted tales to the crescent moon
as we danced to the rhythm of falling rain
yet we stood with fists raised in the air
till the thunder-bird crashed in the plains

When bear and wolf were sacred beasts
while soil and water our precious friends
brought life to mouths of full belief
respect for creatures throughout the land

We stored the harvest and consumed the hunt
praised the god of food and the lord of death
yet we stood with fists raised in the air
till the goddess of truth and justice appeared

Primitive tribes much more advanced
where family the woven fabric of life
stitched tattered ends to meager means
as they held out hope for all species

Yet we cast aside our former faith
dumped toxins for the wind to propel
stole lives for seconds on the silver screen
as we stood on the shore of our living hell

When technology defeated philosophy
we stood with a finger raised in the air
flaunting our thoughtless victory
over a social war - never declared

Aura

Shades of pine grafted in again resign
Shattered pine in elm certain grove alone
My meadow had a thorn certain credit
The factual harm of its heartless swarm
Featured within in the created design with pine
Eyes sharpened as a willow in garb
The tornado sequence has even the fog alone
Again tempors fly like never before
Blatant lies have come at no surprise
In parts unknown an aura of repute to harm
Sound the alarm in fetters arm
Choirs of saints in regard to its beckoning drawn
Empire strain inside my brain fragments of cure
The surface of the sun has tainted my vision with harm
Sound the alarm agiain my faithful friend by whom we can depend
Shattered glass on the parchment floor
Aura
An impulse deep in regards to the heart
Shades of pine will line the volume of scattered pillows
A willow in derision you made a final decision
A thought provokoing reason to believe in
Shattered memory's in the moments of innocence with a plight of disbelief
We have soon turned over a brand new leaf
Timeless peaks in a swelll shattered fragments from within
A great design still sublime in its timeless parts the heart
Aura
Jim Morrison had it
Janis Joplin couldn't stop it
Jimi Hendrix sought this quick fix
An unbellievable call being caught in the mix!

Sin

Anguish taunts through a barbed wire fence with edged grasp

Actions in which human beings rebel against a holy God
Miss their purpose for their lives
Surrender to the prince of the power of the air more then God
Cause all of their deeds were evil!

Shattered
An eclipse of the sun had tainted my inner vision
Push back the pain with radiant guide
Does this notion in thought come at any big surprise?

Weak willed tyrants from the flood of dispinsation
Shattered fragments loosed in gloom climatic abrasion
Parts unknown from the setting of the sun
Sin

Leading gullible women captive under the false cloak of compromise
Abortion on demand
When will they ever understand?

Blood shed in our streets
Evil tyrants from elected officials overly prideful taunt & pull!
We each our responsible for our actions before a holy God
Sin!

Lifes troubles

We live in a fearsome world where nothing seems right
And you don’t feel safe especially at night.
It is full of bloodshed and violence
With anger and war, can this world
Take much more.
The damage cannot be undone, the effects of
Pollution has already won as the ozone layer
Is fading away with the sunlight turning
To grey as summerdays we once knew
Are few, rather we have rain that flows
Like rivers that never end, floodings
Across the globe affecting people’s livelihoods,
Homes
 and peace of mind people
Truly wish to find as darkness and despair
They cry out Does anyone really care,
Wondering what life will throw their way
Next as life is so full of change as unforeseen
Occurrences befall us all without much warning
At times.

Surely we can agree that the world seems beyond help and
The evil acts that take place is a cry in shame and
Brings sheer disgrace to the human race.
What can be done in this ever-changing world that we live,
Can we improve and make it a better place to live
With happy smiley people with hearts full of
Love wanting to give to others
Treating eachother as though they were a sister
Or brother.
Living in Peace and harmony
With plenty of food to feed
A multitude no matter what their race
They have a place to call home
With food on the table and
A bed at night to keep them warm.

Life would be much better adding meaning and to
Make living more worthwhile,
Bringing much joy really making you smile.
Always have hope in your heart
That someday we can all be part of a world
Where we live in
Peace and Happiness and life everlasting
That will not cease.

SEA TO SHINNING SEA

SEA TO SHINNING SEA,

...this is so intimate of time, as a first kiss of time is...so close of soul, so near, so dear of heart beat, so precious a rhyme that flows so intimately,

deep of time, down by the Crystal Seas...

...this is so intimate of dreams,
dreaming reality,

as the Crystal Sea so reveals of destinies galore,
sparkles,
destined as the night light of the moon-glows of starry eyes,
upon the waters,

...gazing

...seeing tranquility upon the waves...
watching to the depth of a dream,
and a sun-rise

being so true...

for underneath and within this a moon-lit poem of starry night eyes, down by the Crystal Seas, a vessel sets sail upon the deep...into a kiss of dawn...

Sea to shinning Sea.

So Sweet

 So sweet
The lonesomeness of the city light street
has me hearing the sound of my heart beat,
I quickly fall to sleep, I wake up and stand
looking outside from my widow balcony.

I see two homeless men standing in line
whom I randomly see in this street,
scuffling in their packets from a handouts,
for good bite to eat as they gladly retrieve their treat
which is a pleasant cite for flooded eyes to see
moreover on the opposite side of the street,
I see people set down enjoying
a late morning sunny breeze in front of a restaurant
chattering, bonding, eating and drinking as
I share with them lessoning to the smooth sound
of the music, children laughing and playing
on the playground and on hard concrete street however
not wanting to hear the havoc of the noise,
and the rush of a saturated street.

That is a part of life... which can be sound and can be so sweet.

So Sweet Poetry 10/28/10 by Keith K. Relf

Le Vacance Pretentieuse: Tipping

Gracious smiles, a waiter waiting.
The service: quite nice actually.
The drinks cool and food sating
My average appetite factually;

Who knew they had coca cola here
In the middle of the desert... odd
Isn’t it? I ordered water and beer
And here arrives our saviour, god

And leader, dressed in a brown
Shirt despite the pre-mentioned
Heat. He never wears a frown,
Even at rush hour not tensioned.

7.30 comes and goes, morning
Or night, we arrive, are seated
And eat. The waiter is fawning
But nice, the food is all treated

And we eat it all up, fulfilled by
A fountain of beverages he will
Provide. Full, we give a goodbye,
And place tips away from the till

So the manager cannot see, risky
Business. But how to divide the
Cost? Calculators grant only frisky
Fractions, I only had a mint tea!

THE ONE WITH THE UNUSUAL COLOR

Last year all pumpkins were brightly orange,
every time I glanced at them on that range....
I thought of another Thanksgiving Day
when I would kneel down and pray.

I went to the October annual pumpkin patch
where many folks had the irresistible itch
to find those pumpkins they liked to take home,
sadly, I was left there alone and aimlessly roamed.

What I saw was not the orange pumpkins
I was searching for...they hadn't the usual color:
staring at me there were white pumpkins
nobody wanted to pick up, I looked no further.

Did I think what my Thanksgiving pumpkin pie would have looked like:
a lemon pie instead? Kids and adults would have laughed at me!
It seemed I had no choice but to take the one so plump and ripe...
and I shouldn't have been late to taste that bitter dose of reality!

Not too glad to have found the one with the unusual color,
I put my fantasy to work...thinking of a way to make it orange;
I bought a bottle of orange flavor extract to give it a real color
and blended with the ingredients hoping for an award in vintage.

Closer to an hour I constantly watched it bake and I peaked here and there...
oh, the vapors smelled superb as I happily laid back in my rocking chair!
And had they known of my cheat , I would have been expelled from the Pumpkin Fair!
Luckily, I won the competition for taste and artistry...admitting to myself it wasn't fair.

Indestructible Ye

Comprehending this about one’s energy
Then upon the pit there will be no casting
The Holy Spirit is what provides synergy
You and it both be combined everlasting
Mortal human life may be in jeopardy
The soul and spirit be Ye separate grafting
Yet most eyes fail to see this invisible force
It’s the power of the Creator almighty I endorse

Bad Blood

Social injustices can affect so many

A hand to grasp to hide & hold
Set on fire to its oratory fragrance...

The streets were fought for territorial rights;
Out of negotiations with a long line of strife
The gangs outside were very mean & controlling,
Their territory was grueling etched in a barrage of discomfort....

Bad blood

Isn't it a pity that you hate the city;

With lines drawn in the sand some poles very shifty...
A novice may use quite a gentle approach;
An emotional conflict can result in fear, guilt & shame,
Guilt & shame need to be overcome by the grace of God,

Bad blood....

Throughout its beckoning call toward inevitable service,
Many years of growing up in the streets;
Phat rims & image keeping fades,
Jose was a long way off on that day...

The city kids were out for a fight that night,

With clearer heads having prevailed,
Some have often found themselves lying in a sewer;
Just waiting for another episode toward that in manuever,
Bad blood...

Jose was quick to draw his nine that day

Perhaps it was the bad blood that took him from behind ?
All alone with my silver spoon exposed to its elements;
Shadows proned to turn in the corner of my room
Fastened by the imaginations in my head

Wake up dead!

Yet in mere solace what matters most?
Like a lost seagull flying off the coast;
Try as you may the other way,
Bad blood...

Torn
Bridges are being burned having tables now being turned;
In solemn mast of rhetoric demise
Yet a word to the wise;

Bad
Bad blood,
From darkness to light yet never giving up on the fight;
A tug at the heart will light the spark to what it is we have been waiting for...

Since creation unfolds a story that's being sold

Vibrant eyes turned to gold
As in a variation of a dream sorted through its sifted after glow exposed!

Bad blood.

TESTED

There is a personal testimony and everyone's focus is on the group and on the
self and not on JESUS where it was supposed to be the reason eye won't go to
fellowship with rich working Christians meeting at a SUNDAY SUPPER to drive to
a pizza place where everyone pays something for the food even if they share it the
cost is still beyond the pocketbook of yew. The added price of fellowship with
world is loss of spirit functions eye am not suggesting we have meetings in the
desert with the hedgehogs but there could be a meeting place for all the
Christians like the fish doors of the early days of meetings they were in and out
so furtive searching alleyways for soldiers avoiding arrests and fighting and
bringing lots of food in the bags of fishes and the loaves of breads in pockets of
the tunaes fishes smile eye could just not resist this in almost every Church
there is a Kitchen and in some of them is love the people make the soup for the
homeless and the court appointed prisoners and even important people come.
Hang a fish upon the door of every kitchen in the nation make a place with tables
where the poor can come in love do not forget the love the soup is nice but even
slabs of raw meat are not enough with hate.
Eye could not write a word on yesterday the things that eye had wanted to write
left on the flight of lost ideas and night came again without a thought and then the
day came back this fable was born and eye decided to try religion again. The
focus of a lot of people is the congregation the error being life is not a middle
class house with people making money in a paper plate of life some people
need a cup of soup just to survive please open up your love first open up your
hearts then open all them kitchen cupboards up. There is another thing that eye
must say to all the bible thumpers not yet in the grave what does it matter what
the date and day of this my own salvation come the day of JESUS was 33 AD the
date that GOD was saving me.

You Make Beautiful Things

Usually, I just pass by
with a glance, read their
life story without making
eye contact so my wallet
doesn’t feel sympathy,
but this time, his cardboard
sign screamed at my heart.
It was as if his soul breathed
hope onto what he wraps
himself in at night.
His cried out eyes
had a thick layer of
fog over the pupil,
nostrils were cracked,
wrinkles grinned
dog fur white.
Yesterday, in Palo Alto,
I gave a homeless man
money,
my freedom only
cost three dollars.

Blind Love

I hold you close to me like a new born child and give you all
the tender care and love you desever

But there is just one thing I don't

But your glad I'm in your life becasue I make you forget

And you can feel it and see it in my eyes you wan't both but

because your still in love

But you wan't me what sould I do drop up everything and
move on and just forget about use trying to be as one or
stay in this unfear relationship and keep carrying on

My body wan't you but my heart also to but my brain know
this is not a good way to live my life and I'm playing myself
for less

I'm comfused what sould I do I'm learning to love you and I

This love I'm in must be called blind beacause I can't move

I'm confused and I don't know what to do I'm learning to
love you and I don't wan't to lose

Potbound

Coming out on the porch this morning after the sun had risen far above the horizon...I
noticed that my herbs looked wilted. Checked but not really dry just potbound or rootbound
in too small of a container..Life___how many of us are potbound or rootbound contained in a
container that we outgrew years ago___stuck, complacent not growing and soon will die from
starvation because we can't receive the nourishment from the source of our total being the
giver of life the One Who gives the Living Waters....In the next few days I will get larger
pots, fresh soil, and remove those plants..distrub their roots...Repot them giving their root
system room to grow..They will come out giving me fresh French Tarragon, and Lemon
Thyme all summer..I will enjoy watching them grow and produce....What about me? Will I
get out of the pot that is too small and grow?

Blue birds and robins pass me by

Mountain, trees, and animals
Priase God Abroad
The frsh air bring forth calmness
A quiet serene a waits my soul

Red orange and violets
Represents God's glory
Flowers slowly rise with the sun
And water crickets sings songs of glory

I'LL SMILE 4 U

Stroll through the Illest Empire
So much heat feeling like we’re living in the fire
But we’re living under fire
Tell me how many shots must it take before my loved ones are crying at my own wake
Its time for a break from sad eyes I’ve seen grown men cry
It hurts to tell a loved one good-bye
It’s the same reason why they died
Hearts just too full of pride
Mothers praying their young’n wont be a victim of a homicide
Too many drive-bys blood shed for a block you really can’t call mine
Wishing we could turn back time
High off of nickels’ and dimes
Making moves to boost your grind looking for hope
But the hustle got us in a head choke
Don’t blame me for acting crazy cause this how the streets made me and you
To watch our back and throw bows and cuss
Cause you got to be tough when times are rough
I know your asking when will enough be enough
And truth is I don’t know but this is how it goes down
But if I make it out will you smile for me now

So many families struggling with poverty
I don’t judge cause that use to be me
Watching mom come home late
Barley any food on our plate
So young and life we already hate
Praying God bring us something great
My clothes were cheap imitates and kids called you on them for being fake
Knowing mom bust her ass to provide
But all your knock offs you begin to hide
Ashamed of what you own
I know how you feel I been there too
I see mothers walking there kids to school
And the walk is far when you cant afford a car
Mom hoping one day you’ll be a star
I know about being next to poor
Your local neighborhood liquor market is your grocery store
Wishing you didn’t have to go through that living off of food stamps
Cube the neighborhood is a trap but we’ll all be free
So smile for you and me

Even 2pac said smile for me
This isn’t how its always going to be unless you let it be
In our different way we’re all a G
Cause we’re trying to make it straight legit
Whatever your hustle never quit but don’t lose yourself in it
Cause you still got a long ways to go
Still got a long time to grow
Use what you know to get by or you wont survive
Remember to always keep your dreams alive
Whatever it is just do it and never try
The limit is the sky so keep your heads held high
And when you come to a hard road just always know nothing can keep you down
You’ll be able to come back around
So give yourself a chance
And I’ll smile for you now

The Story Of Job

The Story of Job I'm sure you remember the story of Job. God's blessings in his life were greatly bestowed. The Devil came to speak to God one day. "I'm sure Job will curse you if I take everything away." Everything in Job's life seemed to be getting worse. Through all of this, to God, he never cursed. All that he had-was soon to ge gone. His "friends" told him it "was his fault-he was wrong." He blessed God in spit of all they had said. He would praise God until the day he was dead. In all the loss and the turmoils. His body would soon be covered with boils. He loved God even though he lost his possessions. Spending eternity in heaven was his obsession. If everything in your lie was taken from you. Would you bless or curse God -what would you do? Is he more important than your house or s.u.v.? Would you give him up for a "big screen t.v.?" Is he your prized possession whom you love so much? Or are you using Christianity as simply a crutch? For one day soon-all you have will certainly perish. Is it God--or this world-- you love and cherish? By Jim Pemberton

Seldom

Seldom

Seldom,
So seldom does this word prevail;
How shall it seek you too?
Seldom is a spark renewed,
Ephemeral and divine it appears;
Its light seems certain to no purpose;
Like sparklers in the brain,
They thrive in numbers but exist
No longer than thought sublime;
Seldom do they stay,
They only drift and shine towards decay.

Glory

This is the story of a beautiful horse named Glory Freckled and spotted She stood but a twig Lost in a forest Of abandonment Tires and barbwire Surround her by day And at night she suffers The coyotes cries, not far away Left with no food Or water to drink She stands by a tree And hopes for relief Halter grown in And hooves overgrown Not a grain in that belly And left all alone Withering quick She stands by her tree And hopes a kind soul Will help her to see There is life still No matter how grim Things seem from beneath This horrid, old tree This halfhearted twig Awaits her relief As the days pass her by And she writhes with grief Her name is Glory All freckled with spots Like a giant Dalmatian Trapped in this spot At the end of her lead She was finally freed Not a day too soon She'll now find relief Halfhearted no longer And happy at last Whom once was a twig Knows Glory at last Halfhearted no longer And free from that mess Glory has found relief At Horse Creek Ranch* *Horse Creek Ranch is, to the best of my knowledge, a fictional name.

Christ In You

We all walk on weak lines through peril intent
Shades of grass prone in circulation
Along comes a hand extended in the briars
A torched fervor can demonstrate its silence
A tug at the heart would light the spark to what it was I have been waiting for
A soul in peril will be in want yet acceptance would come at a price
Christ in you the hope of glory vested story
Shadows prone in timeless hue overhead we bit off more then we can chew
In sunlit days to frolic in a haze
As a mouse was getting stuck in a maze
To look intently at the ocean breeze
Christ in you a chief aim to please
Brandished in the mediocre turning of the tide
many walk away run & hide
In delusional thought we remove the blinds to shine
A hero in us all to hide the inner pain let me explain
We brought nothing into the world & for certain can bring nothing with us when we die
Christ in you an aim to please
Through shouts of angelic fervor breeze
We walk on loose ends through the thorns yet it depends
In walking toward the main goal
Life's reaching height to reach its toll!

There is a lot to learn

As I tred this pilgrims pathway to the marching in Zion
I sometimes will loose control yet I know very well
The person inside resides a tender chord of love
Shelter lies dormant onto its beckoning call

Filtered through a straw we loose our inner force
To govern the most influential scope
Some haven't even bothered to cope
Having a fight with the soap on the rope

The turning of the tide we will hide behind
That heavy pier of loose compromise
Twisted allegations conspired in its diabolical lies
Shattered then shaped by a cullmination of respect

The service was over now pay the check !

that was then and this is 2010: (part 2) Soul Food

we're now in the midst of the Holy season known as Lent
forty days and nights of sacrifice as a way to repent
a time for us to try and get a little closer to God
a time to fast, to give up something we hold dear to our hearts

we're in the age of technology with Facebook, Twitter and texting
the way people now communicate has become somewhat vexing
always with the I-Pods, I-Pads, cel phones and e-mail
time to talk to eveyone but God who only requires knee-mail

when Jesus encountered the Tempter after His time of fasting
He had a wilderness experience that would be forever lasting
hungry and tired from all those challenges He had to face
now waiting on the word of God to fall perfectly in place
the Tempter said "if You're the Son of Man make bread out of these stones"
Jesus replied " that man does live by bread alone
but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God"
the spiritual Soul Food that will forever nourish our hearts
the Daily Bread that overflows into our spiritual cups
the Word of God, the Soul Food that will forever lift us up
as that was then and this is 2010
it's time to come out of the wilderness my friend

we all have moments of frustration, heartache and pain
we need to come out of the wilderness and by God be made whole again
to face down the devil and the temptation He'll put in your way
now resistant to sin and no longer by the Enemy to be swayed
to partake of God's Soul Food which will guide us to all truths
to trust in God and do whatever His word asks of you
to call on God and know that He will always have your back
now full of His Soul Food and on the right spiritual track
knowing that it's now all under God's control
now fed and nourished by His Spiritual Food for your soul

The Inner Struggle

Some our very eager perplexed swept within

Underneathe the belly of the beast
A needed flower to grow amidst the rise of yeast
Within sullen fragmented dreams & truth
One may even negate that inner truth for a lie?

That inner struggle within/

To remain attached to the vine sublime

We are more then qualified for its great design
To calm the nerves from within
We look to man yet find no hold
We look toward self thus grafted in again onto the rights are sold

We then read books based on logic & get trapped within
~

For some,
It's inner struggle is what we all must seek to face
Within loose debris in decayed formation
Yet some its inner struggle is a way of escape?

Proned toward evident inhillation embraced with its surfaced Peyton Place;

The inner struggle from within
Fought back the heavy tears with a smile
Still to know all the great while
A hand to hold a loving kiss embraced

For this is the thought provoking struggle we enivatably all must face?

The inner struggle.

The day's work begins sleep gone
Gather food cook
Aroma fills air breathe on
Spices, herb bouquet add-on

Just short time to lay eyes on

For life, food needs a cookbook

Triple Distatich-GODFEARING GRANDPA

Godfearing grandpa died over two decades ago,
he had an adventureous spirit bolder than any explorer of long ago;
and in his many voyages: from tumultuous Argentina
to Canada and America...he immensely missed
his faithful and beautiful blue-eyed wife Maria...
and when he dreamed of that face he once caressed,
tears flowed thinking of her with a man's desire,
which too often he bore throughout his dire...
and he could have found a companion, but he resisted that urge
by opening the Bible to remind him of his refuge.

That large barn, which echoed with the peasants' voices and songs,
was the labor of their callous hands storing hazelnuts, chestnuts, grapes
and grains to be sold in the town's market square...all that was his pride and joy;
and what made those long furrows with vines so bountful?
Their source was a river flowing through those well-kept farms,
nourishing them with its fresh waters that at times proved to be
very disastrous and fatal when its banks filled to capacity
when floods occurred making him sad, but seldom he lost hope...
as he glanced far, dreaming of sailing beyond the crimson horizon.
Godfearing grandpa was never stouthearted, he firmly believed in Divine Mercy.

Godfearing grandpa sailed from the Bay of Naples
on a ship cramped with thousands of desperate immigrants,
to seek fortune outside Italy after Mussolini seized power;
and he didn't curse his native soil for making him leave,
but kept on loving it with same ardor of his youth.
" I will return to my land and my barn as empty as a shell,
dreaming of stacking it with those crops ready to be gathered...
I will smell the ripe apples, the juicy grapes, the yellow pears,
the plump oranges with their strong scent in the crates made of oak!"
He solemny shouted to the reddest sky overlooking his rosy barn.

A peril of sort left my job moved up North

In islands in the stream some apparent evil scheme
Shades of grey by its means something don't actually turn out to what they mean
Shades of grey silver smile walk the old river Nile
A plate of fries evil pass getting to know the midnight pass

Shades of grey all torn up inside we will hide
Souts of joy then applause some may insist on it being a lost cause
Sadly we put up with the chill running down the spine evil swine
In deepened peril outside twilight Christmas Carol

Shades of grey how they swoon to its nightly visible tune.

Dying Dreams

The young dream their dreams away at night

Hoping they come true

A doctor, policemen, veterinarian and other dreams are developed by the young

Too naive to understand the ways of the world

Determined as ever to achieve their dreams

The old regret the dreams they could never accomplish

They had dreams but unknowingly never came true

You go from living a world full of dreams

To living the reality that is life

Why do we let our dreams die

We were so excited as young kids

At the foot step of our dreams

Were we haunted by the mountain we had to climb

To make our dreams come true

Did we simply quit

Because of society’s pressure

Did money deter our dreams away while we slept at night

Did we let doubt creepy into our hearts

Silently killing all of our dreams without realizing it

Why do dreams die so quickly

When we spent years of our youth

Hoping that we could get an opportunity

To make them come true

Dream big, chase your dreams and never let them die

Gold Leaf

            Gold Leaf

Gold leaf frescoes on a church wall are very lovely
Saints and angels on display at a pretty price
Just outside, mold takes over, clings to surfaces, settles
Poor people float inside like famished spirits
Transformed with tarnished shoes and souls
They see the glow of heaven at their heels
Marbled floors and altered states of grace
Collection baskets fly by, gobble up dollars
More gold leaf is needed
Walls must be fed
Outside mold clings and grows
Ivy also, on the ancient structure, very pretty
Gold leaf comes at a glowing cost
Lovely frescoes, angels and a cross
The priest promises to feed the congregation
Perhaps next season
Hunger must wait, we understand
More money is needed immediately
Gold leaf angels are more than mysteries
They are financial emergencies, for gold leaf frescoes

Mambai India Dreams

           Mambai India Dreams

Mambai in the Maharsashtra region is home
India the land of magic takes me back
Amit Arjun is my name
Shri Swminarayan Hindu temple is where I pray
Sandals take me there to Shri Ganesha every day
To seek Attainment , from a higher authority than me
And I pray for peace, prosperity and some property
Akuri on toast at morning meal lifts me to a jolly spirit
On my journey to the truth
Bheja, goat brain, helps me sleep at night, but it needs curry
It gets me right into my dreams of Aabha Aadarshini without a worry
She glows with the power of the sun
One day she will be my lovely wife
A lustrous beauty second to none
She teaches me the basuri and papini and how to dance
When week end comes I take Aadarshini to the market
Hand in hand we walk and plan our future
She wants a restaurant to serve foreign foods
I just want enlightenment and truth

Apart From Me

Somber silly little Setter, English; painting trapped himself in the side yard whimpering, howling away wildly.

Sunscreen-on, moseying on over, in His tenderness He offers a helping hand. Hot Summers cool vapors the blessings found here, there to and fro leaning midst the still lulling; gentle calling of the Rains.

Yes the Grace of God, in His joy humming, arriving just in time, and so is Patience the greater venture I suppose the eminent virtue.

His Love always; Honest, Open... Willing already beholden... . Far beyond the wreck I make for myself and others... chains stretched bounded securing me yes, my freedom in kind stripped away from me given in the effort this provisional very prominence preceding me when in denial of these facts.

I'm a needle in a haystack
walking about among all
never standing tall.
A stick in an ever growing field of flowers.
never a stalk, never any power.
just a lone discarded weed, but i feed
on your unknowing, my unshowing.
until an unblossoming of a true form me
and a society forced to see me,
and try to be me,
 the perfect rose.

Gnoochi with Nonny

Summertime,
The living is lovely,
Gnoochi with Nonny,
Fresh dough,
Kneaded,
Love,
Needed,
For every step,
Chef caps adorn our crowns,
It’s a lovely afternoon,
Rich in tradition is our recipe,
Love is how it is conjured,
How I miss our days,
Of gnoochi and storytelling,
Memories are all that's left.

Heather

Beautiful sunset in swift apparel

She smiles in the wind having gold in hair
Pillars of cement line her inner voiced mind
Heather
Her stregnth comes in her immeasurable face

Love of a touch from another

Skipping rocks & such
In the stream of captivating habitation
Heather
In circles commonly havoc from the distrust in others

She sings a lovely song as she tail skirts along
Timeless matter captivated by her hair in feathers
A crush through a blow in sorted venue plight
A song sheltered toward its beckoning call

The critics to her our all torn & battered
Her lips sag & smile is shattered
Her life as she knows take on the tremendous blows
With a timeless song in her heart

A rose petal in delicate sway
A happy smile to brighten anyone's day

Aint staying gold

I like my steak rare With lots of pepper because well is not so well when dry.

I run in the rain so I don't have feel my sweat on my body.

It's true I wake up before the sun rises, I beat him every time.

I'm already filled with sand, so ill be one less the sandman has to work on.
I'm already at my highest peak before the stats appear.

I'm already down hill before the pile of shit. Im still at the top of the mountain waiting for that one chick to stop singing and get over this hill.

At the End of the day I like to end with my coffee and smoke the same way- black and mild.

Vodka

Scores of recipes may need vodka in any way,
like every person, animal or object in this world;
water is essential, a vital need to everyone’
without it, life would not be possible to survive.
Its essence dispel the dryness and death
It’s a potent creation, a number one support;
that brings to life and sustains its strength
for one who lives and copes with many things.
What a great need for everyone to have water
and survive with it, along with other things;
in a perpetual state, water makes a difference,
it’s a source with its essence that means life.
In all settings, time, history, and situations,
their link to life-giving wonders and events
reminds everyone of God’s gift to his people
that He, in John’s gospel, is a living water.

Note:

Vodka: It is a Russian word, a diminutive of “water” (before you adopt an ironic smile, be aware that “whiskey” comes from the Gaelic for “water of life”).

Prima Colazione Sbagliata Wrong Breakfast

 Prima colazione sbagliata

 Vorrei dimenticare
Se i nostri tempi ti penti

 Il mio amore soffocato
 Le mie emozioni accoppiato

English / Italian

 Wrong Breakfast
You scrambled my heart, as if it were a three egg omelet.

Breaking the shell of my soul till it crumbled.

I am trying so hard just to forget.

My inner self tumbled, bumbled.

I felt shuffled

I feel ruffled.
I would rather forget.

If our times you regret.

My love muffled,
My emotions coupled.

VIRTUES AND PURITY

Never stood still on battling ground,
watch the vicious and villainous carnage,
and not fight with true courage...
to increase the sword clanking sound.

Never been humiliated by slandering words not timely,
my silence banished them as they picked up velocity;
I did nothing to vindicate my anger with visceral grief...
and today my memory still evokes that encounter too brief.

Never are valorous men nailed to an undeserved cross,
making those nails penetrate their hands and feet,
no guilt is ever found in them, innocence is their plea;
but the loud, infuriated voices still demand their death.

Never withheld feelings of compassion,
and put a distance between myself and them,
poverty was caused by those who greedly governed;
why blame the common people for a corrupt institution?

Never looked away when the smallest hands
reached out through profound silence, and in those youngsters faces
anyone could see their misery and sense their desperation arise;
they had needs, not wants like we have, when their food and water were scarce.

Never broke any law of the land, but abode by it
with a good character and willingness to spread peace,
not rebelling and causing damage to property and harming citizens;
in any civilized country violence doesn't solve anything, it only hardens the hatred.

Never got drunk or smoked marijuana to avoid the ugliness of reality,
although peer pressure was there and by pushing it away, I resisted it;
it cost me their friendship; and looking back, I am glad I kept my dignity...
and who needs friends like that, when they lead you down the wrong path?

Never cursed God for the ills of others impinged on me,
and for the misfortunes I endured for endless years without a shout;
my tongue always hollowed His holy name...knowing that
He had put me to the test, and in due time He would have blessed me.

Never planned revenge on anyone who had conspired against me,
this conscience was spotless and no action was needed by me;
if I had retaliated, they would have rejoiced and responded with laughter;
a fox is known for its slickness, and my instinct was alike it, if not better.

Never allowed doubt, or foolishness to contradict what was beautifully created,
the cooling breeze on steaming days, the pouring rain for a rich harvest,
the brilliant sunshine to make everything grow:  from trees to grass;
and in the fluffy snow...I saw my purity and the peacefulness of winter so revered.

Earth Brothers

My brothers are much older than me
They're always teaching me how to live,
Like brother deer, and bird, and tree
And the bees, who teach me to forgive.

We take brother bees food but that's fine
He just makes more, being able to share,
He never wastes a moment to whine
But constantly hums his silent prayer.

Brother deer comes and goes like a ghost
Constantly in tune with one another,
Never disturbing anyone, never a boast
Or a complaint, he's my humble brother.

Brother bird older still fills the skies
In his faith he depends on God daily,
For every food and shelter, then flies
To God's feet singing his praise gaily!

Brother tree the oldest doesn't bother
To worry, and in total faith stands steadfast,
Lifting his arms in praise of Father
Who supplies all, his faith is unsurpassed!

I am the youngest brother of Mother Earth
But if I had to choose another one to be,
I'd choose the one that showed the most worth
So, I think that I would choose to be a tree!

Out Heart

Out of the heart

Springs the many issues of life amidst
Throughout a distant embracing strife
Out of the heart a modest choice to make
In ardent springs embraced upon temporal negate

Within time,
Comes about a correlation within its peace
Strong is it may seem
Out of the heart some may disagree/

Out of the heart...
One may equate logical persuasion out of a mist filled with reality;

Charity...

The tender soil still quickens lending it to art as in some specific touch

Through a variation in a dream falling apart at the seams

Some are even very eager to engage in its deepest sympathy?

One may negate truth thus in order to twist its factual to live the lie?

Still others equate logical persuasion amidst;

Out of the heart form the issues of the heart/
Through darkened shades of Pine some may even spring a leak?
We still know what tomorrow might bring?
Amidst temporal chords of fallem mankind
We stand amazed at the glue of false fabrication
Twisted thoughts filled with thunder amidst its period of priority
Justification by faith yet they negate logic for a side order of fear
Twisted minds that plug destruction blaming third degree of fire on their very souls
Neglect to pick up the cross & to follow then soaring into sorrow
Never any hopes for a brighter nor that a better tomorrow;

Out of the heart the mouth will speak amidst the madness deepened creek/

Throughout darkened shades of Pine soiled in the breeze with illogical persuasion
We all still know not what tomorrow may bring?
Amidst temporal chords of fallen mankind
Under the surface of the bone filled there is still a layer of skin
Whence, do I need to ever begin again
Fallen man amidst a rise of the angry pagan
Flashlights with a dull pitch formidable response in its equated logical filled lies
Does all of the lie come at any logical big enough surprise?

It's Not What It Seems

it's not as good as you say
It's not what it seems
False tales and dreary days
No sunshine, it only rains

Just old cloudy days
And yesterday's dreams
It's not all you make it out to be
Things don't come free

There's a price for everything
Even a price for your soul
You're making something out of nothing
it's always something

All the drama, all that pain
Stings my piercing heart
You tell your lies in the dark
One day I'll bust open

Heavy Metal

The heavy metal series of poetry demonstrates an inner ability to speak words of
kindness; Toward the resolve of the 1980's heavy metal scene; To demonstrate a
reasonable high calibur of interest; To the average novice of intellect, It's plausible
words ring in the ears;

Heavy Metal pt. I

In a torn branch withered in the wind

A silence toward its beckoning call
With a silver dollar tossed in a pool
It pays to stay focused then to lose your cool
The one that has no faith in God will lose their cool

Ronnie James Dio was the first ever to address this rule,

His was to slay the dragon in the rule of the game;
In shattered lined that wound & bind
A silence to its beckoning call;
The child listens then cry's in pain,

In ardent briars close to insane;

With cloves filled wretched stench in sulfur,
Amidst the closet drawer below the offer;
A deadly fix on the mainstream headlong,
Heavy metal in twisted leather chains,

Through shattered dreams within vilest pain,

In its ambiance of shelter amidst its cry;

To fall headlong then to believe its ultimate lie!

Faces in the window with storms in the night;

Having fallen face down in viscous fangs that bite,
Often dripping blood off side;
So easy to run away & hide in the night
With a heavy metal pull ravaged to plunder;

~

Heavy Metal pt. II

In full view of havoc proned to desolation in vile misery

The balance of an equestrian melody,
With pages torn on its new episode
Throgh a whole host in vile lamentation;
In mere brilliance from its setting sun

Amidst certain periods of social demise;

A short fuse in its reluctant quest,
With words spoken in the dark in certain conquest
Has now come into the fullness of light soaring bright
Chase dreams from your hair my sweet child chose the day;

To stand up and shout amidst the inner pain,

Shattered dreams amidst its painted glass yet intact
Hallways filled no one gets off on any free pass;
Faces in the window with storms in the night,
A laborer is intended to enter into its fullest of rest;

Faces in the window with storms in the night !

Heavy metal in the center of its scattered plight

The clear voice in reason is our successful right,
In this life never relent in ever giving up on the fight,
Keep your promises & attire,
We live in a world that is very strange!

They will take advantage & rearrange in the membrane,
Desolate cry's with wounded twisted lies;
Proned to silence amidst the greeting of its beckoning call

Love must be so pliant

Love must be so pliant ,
like a blade of grass,

Bowing to the wind,
till the storm has passed.

Love is enigmatic
Like the sphinx’s smile.

Waiting for an answer,
Nothing is on file.

Love is often near us
Yet we do not see.

Sometimes where we are
Is just the place to be

Dreams

Dreams

What good is a dream evil scheme when falling headlong in a ditch nervous twitch

Through a port in a storm one could barely see so sound the alarm;
A vision of sorted delegated deception or that of reality transformed,
Fantasy/
To dream in spite of the madness

To dream in certain gladness,

That amidst folly should chill its temporal flame;
~

The entire world today is totally insane/

To dream, amidst the common swell with ease;
Enough of cold sweat in your living Hell,
A gap between the sullen hard shell;
Dreams our built on nothing less then hardship amidst

Tossed in a sea with compromise & charity

Through nights filled with fright & flight of fantasy
Through words filled in timeless plight & shivalry;
Dreams will take flight so forget the night,
Dreams can be crushed in the midst of catastrophe;

The heart will relinquish along with beauty/

Can ultimately realize it's equated heightened reality,
Can appreciate the light amidst the darkness ravaged in pain;
Can one negate sadness merely looking out of the window pane?
Can a leaf sullen in the fragment of one's inner imagination ?

Reality...

The Food Of Truth

In the Sacrament of the altar
Lord meets us
Men and women created in God’s image and likeness
Becomes our companion along the way

In this sacrament
The Lord becomes food for us
Satisfy our hunger for truth and freedom
Christ becomes for us the food of truth, since only truth can make us free
.

With deep human insight
St. Augustine clearly showed how we are moved spontaneously
Not by constraint
Whenever we encounter something attractive and desirable

Asking himself, what it is that can move us most deeply?
The saintly Bishop went on to say:
“What does our soul desire more passionately than the truth?”
Everyone of us has innate and irresponsible desire for ultimate and definitive truth, the Lord Jesus, “the way, and truth, and the life”
Speaks to our thirsting, pilgrim hearts
Hearts yearning for the source of life
Hearts longing for truth
Jesus Christ is the truth in person

Drawing the world to Himself
The Sacrament of the Eucharist
Jesus shows us in particular the truth about love
The very essence of God

It is evangelical truth which challenges each of us and our whole being
The Church, which finds in the Eucharist the very center of her life
Constantly concerned to proclaim that God is love
Christ has become for us the food of truth

Church turns to every man
Woman
Inviting them freely
To accept God’s gift

When Bodda Boom ! Met - Bodda Bing !!!

Years had passed still I had every bit of reason to grasp/

That true essence of what he said/
Yet there was many thought's inside my head ?
Like the time I drove my big wheel into the yellow Ollie !
I was speechless in thought and deed

Still I never bothered to take heed/

All I wanted to do was just speed !
That's how Bodda Boom met with Bodda Bing !!!
You all know what I mean ?
I even could hear that sweet little bird sing/

Bodda used to be a good friend until when
Bing came strolling into the town/
Many thought the freekin guy was such a clown
So nobody wanted him around/

Today Bing resides right next to The Jersey Shore
Last I knew he lived with a whore ?
Yet who knew/
About that two timer Boom/

He's the spitting image of Jessy James/
Then with his face I'd like to rearrange !
How could he do that to such a beautiful lady !
She's better off settling for Wavy Gravey !

So it was back to the past,
We had every reason to grasp/
That day when Bodda Bing met up with Bodda Boom !
Yet who knew ?

BOUND FOR PROSPERITY

He was a very handsome man,
not filthy, unshaven or ashamed...
once he held a cardboard that said,
" Help me with whatever you can! "

Yesterday around the corner, he held out an empty cup of coffee
without saying a word, but his sunken eyes of beggar
had no strength to remind others of his unfair destiny...
eyes that told a sad story to friends frequenting the local bar.

He told everyone sipping a drink that he was forced to beg for bread
when his bad health became the curse of Hell,
then he lost his beautiful wife and children...the ones he happily held
to his hilarious heart when everything went well.

" I will rise from the ashes! " he solemnly promised himself,
" But in the meantime, that cup will get me the money to survive...
some folks will give me dirty looks, walk away and laugh:
who wouldn't give me a quarter or a dollar to keep me alive?

At night he slept in a shelter down the busy block,
and he always carried a pain-killer to relief his headache...
he wore a wooden shining cross around his droopy neck
and kissed it twice when money dropped in his cup.

Today he looked totally different: well-groomed, wearing suit and tie;
he greeted me as I tried to hand him ten dollars for a chicken pot pie,
" Thanks, buddy for your kindness, I no longer need your money...
the Lord has finally healed me: I am bound for prosperity! "

Mistaken Identity

As the line’s listless structure leapt into attentive control;
It’s purpose for existence instantly acknowledged.

The double-tapered weight-forward shooting line’s condensation,
Informed of its instant transformation,
Leaps to the water’s corresponding constitution,
Each droplet acting as spherical asteroids of deception on the current’s rippling surface.

Instantly, a silent connection has arisen.
One derived out of technology,
Entombed in the cosmology of the seasons,
Originating before explorations in genetics.

Taking solice in a meal of two moons,
How could one resist this temptuos delight?
Emerging with swarms of life; Analgous in size, shape, and color,
Cleaverly disguised in the guile of organic structure.

Water

I watched the raindrops
one by one they fell
they filled an empty hole
till it became a well

every word of yours is dew
like this rain I seek
the hole here large and empty
for a cistern of waters keep

Within I hold these waters
as a gift for you
the life within a garden
cannot without them do

The moisture collects in clouds and wind
their circuits round the earth each day
their routes can now be firmly mapped
its requirements to life portray

The bounties hidden in a desert
you won't ever see in bloom
until the rain its torrents fall
saturates the seeds entombed

Your words are livings waters
they must fall upon the seed
they cannot germinate or grow
they require this moistures deed

Mankind's become a desert place
where scorpions and snakes do dwell
life here is with the cold blooded
from the rainforest they have fell

Comprehensive examples have been left
in all nature and histories show
a better teacher than science books
if we observe what's here to know

The fabric of all of life
holds me like a wadi tell
like an archeologist
who digs the sands and dell

These nations want gold and silver
but true riches they despise
in the end pursuits of vanity
will damn those who think they're wise

Once again you refreshed my mind
when I thought my well be dry
the waters here clean and clear
not bottled with a lie

ONLY WHEN GOD IS WALKING DOWN MY PATH

I may look very naive and vulnerable,
hiding the pangs of my distress so well,
looking normal and walking too brisk...
only when God is walking down my path.

I seem to look away and shun the troubles,
but inside I am hurting like anybody else,
who dreams of a coming universal peace...
only when God is walking down my path.

I nourish my body and thank my Creator
for every slice of bread and drink of water,
the essential things that not everyone has...
only when God is walking down my path.

Since my birth, I have been sheltered by a roof top,
feeling no rain, hearing no wind, bearing no bitter cold;
blessings are added daily, not taken away by wrath,
all this is possible...only when God is walking down my path.

I was given a loving mother who cared for my daily needs
watched me grow and I spiritually grew to praise Him in my hymns;
and her unforgettable and soft words still echo, as when I knelt down and wept,
not making me stray from my course...only when God walked down my path.

I have been fortunate enough to have lived and survived
this long and witnessed may events that have shaped
a changing world in constant turmoil, unwilling to get rid of ugly hate;
I feel very sound and safe...only when God is walking down my path.

For I see your smile as genuine and pleasant
Unfortunately I have no funds for buds nor a present
All I have is the want to share some time with you
With no illicit solicitations and that much is true
Each time I contact you in any way
You create a cerulean blue sky from grievous gray
It matters not to me what it is you choose to do
BUT I would enjoy to contentedly have a conversation with you

I’ve played you music I believed would reach your heart
While innocence has always played its pertinent part
You’ve sometimes totally ignored me and that’s all right with me
Because akin to a swiftly swimming swan you deserve to be free
So if the thought occurs to you that I want more than just a phriend
Remember always and in all ways these words that I penned
You mentioned sharing lunch and it took me aback
Because it’s freedom and friendship I wish not to lack
Well as I mentioned before I’ve no money for flowers nor for fleece
But I do have the inclination to share with you some peace

SCARCE HARVEST

War World II was raging over this
southern Italian town* spared by a miracle...
a deluge that suddenly occurred:
a night of blasting sounds, of rising flames
as American planes bombarded its buildings;
the Nazis fled to occupied Naples.
In the North, the Fascits were executed,
as the Dictator Mussolini himself was.

The farms could not be furrowed deep and neat,
fear hung over the farmers' shoulders;
and wheat couldn't grow abundantly to make bread,
and brazen women to a distant granary they went,
risking their lives to grind the wheat kernels;
they were no young men in town, or the older ones
who had gone to war for a concept so deceptive.
Many youngsters and soldiers were kidnapped by the Nazis,
to be taken to Germany as prisoners of war...who would have
challenged the Third Reich, or disobeyed?

Old women with handkerchiefs on their heads, weeping loudly
and mourning the tranquil town it once was...so lovely and happy,
and their cry was too bitter and inconsolable to be hushed;
now, even bread was taken away from them,
damning the cruel Duce, who had betrayed them for vanity...
why did he bring prosperity to Africa, not to Italy?
Why was his ego so manipulated by Hitler's cleverness...
that he could have conquered peoples and lands?

Ruins and dead kindred...a scenery of dread and abomination,
and the lively memory of begonias on their sunny balconies
brought a sweet nostalgia in an hour of horror and death;
and gathered among the crumbled walls, their rosaries
recited with graceful whispers, gave them
the strength and the courage to desperately grieve:
"Peace, o beloved peace, have you overlooked
the kindness of such humble and honorable spirits?

Darkness brought the silence they had sought under the glittering skies,
to hide the ugliness of the war in their gloomy shadows,
never to reveal the devastation of their town;
and with the new sun rising, hope would have been
renewed in the sunrise's lasting glow.
They would have seen those wheat golden kernels
bend under their heavy weight and bow....
and heard themselves saying," Mercy, o mercy
of our righteous God, let prosperity abound...
as the misty rain slowly comes down!"

Your bedtime prayers
Coupled with the right Scriptures
Yield "pretiolas"

Thick, soft "bretzels" are folded
Like arm over arm.

Hard, brown pretzel twists
Are more than little rewards-
Sweet licks, salty bites...

Piscine Philosophy

My goldfish waits patiently to be fed,
he waits without moving much,
when I approach, what goes through his head?
Does he think real thoughts,or such?
He gets excited as I take some food,
and sprinkle it in the tank,
does he look on me as his one true god,
the father that all fishkind must thank,
for being there everyday,
to make sure all his needs I'll meet,
does he look up to me and pray,
that forever I'll make sure he'll eat?

Tony

First comes the line,

Then comes the sinker/
Dealing with Tony is like dealing with a real stinker !
It's so not what you know,
Rather, in many circles it's who you blow !
Out cooking the books with Tone/
He'll be your best bet for gathering and taken in on a loan,
The pool shark Jones had just left the premises !

Cooking the books now for Tone !

Mr. Jones was sleeping nice out around the Mrs./
At one time he thought he was some contender,

Pressed for questions,
There initial approach was all wrong/
Out there painting the town then sleeping nice next to the fishes,
Couldn't pay that last dinner tab ?
Now there staying late at Sally's cleaning all those dishes !
Loose lips sinks ships/
They still may be tripping with Rosie The Derivator ?

Hence, the given line is being drawn in the sand/
Yet to much afraid to stick it to the man ?
Within time their comes a bit of pain/
Like not having you in my arms is driving me insane !
Two Kanuck's came back from Jersey Shore/
One knew Tone,
While the other was sleeping around with a two bit whore !
He was only half Sicillian ?
Tone took in the first/
The second went away for a ride with Tone !

On a very long ride !

Yet is they really knew Tone,
Loves to cook the books on the side !
Just like he likes his greasy french fries/
The mob still rules !
We have no reason by which to run away and hide !
You can fully trust them cause their family.

Champion

A champion within us all

In direct correlation between time & space
To be selective then destined to negate
The difference in an influence & choice
In a dream one can easily scream...

Through a slight of hand & then,

A champion within us all
Now we can stand ten feet tall
Amidst uncertainty & critical excursion
In sullen laughter to help appease disaster

A shoulder to cry amidst a gentle reply

Nature derives destiny from matter
The substance of equivalent structure
A champion within us all
Triumphant over most

Through a lone blade of grass drifting away

A heart beat away from a full pulse display
Still pressed between its current world I know
Then to be suddenly faced into the land of forbidden

A large chasm fix between the two exist

Within the foundation of freedom in swift disapproval
To soar ever higher into its vast domain
The whole world view or fabric in our existence
For many is humbly equated to reckless abandonment

One has to be very careful how they perceive this analogy.

Radically Sustainable

Here in our glowing emblem
Space and time evaporate-
Hollow channels of sun and distance
Feeling galaxies activate

Billions of stars and souls
Create
What is written and unwritten
Dew drops silvery on the tongue
Even a leaf knows what is to come

To match passion with practice
Ride off among crystal holograms
My love is ecstatic in vocal rings
She haunts my dreams
And protects my sleep
More ancient than the grave

In Battles Of Our Own

In battles of our own

A man will live to advance home
Through a variation in a dream
In faulty idol flowing stream
An ellapsed tongue had tainted my inner vision

In battles of our own,

Shattered silence through scattered temperaments choose
Within it's vested silence in scourge of desire
It comes down to the pivotal wire
We then choose to socially internalize

Yet when will we ever live to realize

In battles of our own when we are a long way off from home
In dreams filled with violence ever needing
In sorrowful intention remorse without having any meaning
Through an opened window of hope we vaguely see a reason to believe

A given chance at victory for one to safely stay

Through inner torn pain in shattered misery
In battles of our own
A house without an actual home
A pulse by which to skip a single beat

A couple in which to meet & greet

Shattered dreams in vested plans
Hoping someday we will all live to understand

Depart from me!

In much pain one's inner character can ensue
Through heart ache and inner turmoil
Some have waited too long for making water to boil
They take the baked potatoe out yet without first checking the aluminum foil

Depart from me you workers of iniquity

You often will lie in wait in order to deceive

Within violent vanquished thorns proned to demonic destruction!
We often will walk through long lines leading to eternal misery
Depart from me in cloven turned ivy briars that are stained green
We then launch out with self attached to a rocky foundation

Those who are self seekers will soon come to nothing yet vanished

The anguish in your inner soul will fold amidst its rubble
In place of calmness their will be that of double trouble
A wretched scream of swollen discord for now silently filtered
Your heart is a door mat bent toward Hell's destruction!

The weary traveler will depend upon
We spend our days in idol proned temperament all alone
Shadows from a battered soul in complete darkness then comes the fullest light
No oe ever said the heavenly way would be easy

Many simply base their whole existence on faulty extremeties!

Gypsie Boy Part One

The toot of a lute
Rang through the air
The carnival was uproar with laughter
A little boy's eyes
a much larger size
at the sight of what he was after
A stale piece of bread
Sat in the trash
It made the little boy in rag's mouth water.
So he reached through the gate
as soon as it got late
Hoping to avoid his slaughter
For stealing was a crime
Even from a trash-bin
They'd have his head off in seconds
A guard caught his eye
But before he could cry
Fate thought he'd need a hero, I reckon.
Some strangely dressed women
appeared from the shadows
and drew their shiny swords
The strangers fought
In the dead of night
The boy was lost for words
One of the women
She approached the child
She bent down to get another look
Seeing his starvation
The pain in his eyes
And the energy that life's stresses had took
"Come with us," Said the women
With a friendly smile
She offered the little boy her hand.
"You'll be safe with us,"
The women explained
"No more getting kicked in the sand."
The boy gave the women
a cautious look
He greatly considered her offer
His parents had just died
Of a horrible starvation
Tonight, hunger wouldn't take another
The little boy agreed
To join the Gypsies
Together they ate and they danced
They traveled from place
To place to place
With a merry smile around he pranced
But what they didn't know
Black magic was brewing
The pagans couldn't sense it upon them
But the hungry little boy
Had always had a gift
He knew when trouble was near him
Immediately he ran
To alert the Gypsies
He said something dark was coming
The pagans all stopped
The music died down
They'd send this enemy running
With candles and an altar
Some herbs and a pendant
The pagan's had formed a plan
They'd cast out a spell
That would protect the people
The animals and the land
Suddenly the sky darkened
Rain started to fall
Their magic wasn't working
With no wind blowing
A candle tipped
Danger was definitely lurking
The fire spread
through out the camp
Tents burned down to ash
The gypsies all panicked
And fetched buckets of water
These problems surely couldn't last
The next two moths
were full of bad luck
The boy got covered by glances
"These problems didn't happen"
"Untill this boy came along."
They said getting rid of him would raise their chances
Of surviving in this
Horrid world we live in
They shunned him within a matter of hours
The boy wandered the earth
With tears in his eyes
His cries rang out with power
So on he walked
Following the road
As his gypsies had taught him
Though his spirits were crushed
and his body hungry
Nobody in the world would stop him

THE FEAR OF DYING

Youth seemed an eternal joy
for a gorgeous and happy boy...
no worries over necessities,
with desires without sequence.

The fear of dying was far from pondering,
only beautiful days ahead for the youngest heart....
longing for a tenderness other teenagers never sought,
and sometimes sleeping away the afternoons was invigorating.

Like glass sheding water, his soul was pure and epic
and he never shook his fist to seek revenge;
he never shillied to shin a tall tree with panic...
always used pragmatism whenever on perilous edge.

He lives miserably, living on a day-to-day existence,
but the fear of dying is to exemplify weakness,
not to exert himself and to better before he hits dead-end;
yesterday God was his sunrise, now that light is glimmering instead.

He justifies his misfortunes with an inadequate story,
while his friends enjoy a happy life, he frolics like a sky-lark
feeding on what people discard in a garbage pail daily...
and weeps occasionaly, instead of coming out of the dark.

The fall of the tower (act 1 of 3-man's plan unravelling)

picking apart the world around us
what stands out
what is god upto?
working through the pages of history
and whose blaming who?
more than enough food to feed the world
so why are people still going hungry
not enough money to go around for everybody
to split the spoils
more than enough bullets for everyone
but not everyone can have a gun
foreshadowing
the plot thickens
what else are we doing wrong?
villifying our ignorance of simple facts
unable to do simple math
angry at precipitating action for reaction
same page different book
different languages slow down communication
this isn't gods world
he's either blackmailing himself
or blackmailing satan
or there is reason the tower fell
hard to work together for one simple goal

the world had a choice
to feed themselves and choose life
and everything would be simple
or choose death and see what your god would do
to slow you down from your inevitable

is it time to pay the piper
hungry mouths and saving lives bring our languages together
everytime you globally try to die
lack of communication
and through ignorance you are villified

Our Future

Some things our not what they seem.
As I think of the world and all it's promises.
My mind wonders why is all this violence around?
Why do people discriminate?
All this hate?

  What do we do?
Turn our back and say it's not so?
Our children of the world crying for a better tomorrow.
Help from all the sorrow and pain.
Like some cold scary storm brewing .
Those children can't help what there going through.
The question is what do we do?

Children our the future of this world.
They will make decisions for tomorrow.
Our job is to take care of this today.
They should play, love ,and be cuddled.
Not in some orphanage huddled .

Some on the streets and not having nothing to eat.
There stomachs so hungry like a whole eating through.
With there little minds wondering what there going to do?
No food to feed there little brains.
Nor get there tummys full.
How our we going expect a world full of promises and dreams?
If we treat our future of today like yesterday.
God will only make the diffrence in this world.
The day we see the light...
Thats is the day we will have sight.
To win this fight..

living candle

                                                             Living candle
What is a living candle . People thoughts that that the great man of the world is the living candle how gave lights and happiness to the world with his blood like mathma gandi , neru and
Bagant singh etc. but can we miss some body the most important and valuable person in our life’s . who make our life better and happy with his blood and his life . think about it who is this person .
In my point of view we miss the main person in our life’s. our mothers who always play a very big role in our life’s . mothers always treat the children with his blood . we can say that the mother is the other name of living candle who burn herself and give the light of happiness .
Is our mother refuse any thing or any work that we demand in our homes or in our life’s .
I always see my mother while she is working and rest of his life she always think about success and a good life of his children’s . I told you a very most important and a very bad moment in my life . After my father death our fine national conduction of our family is not so good . In dinner and also breakfast my mother took food in last . but why. I tell you the reason of this
She thinks that’s firstly her children’s fulfill his demand of food and after that my mother eats a very low amount of food and she told us that her stomach fain during the large amount of food but that is not true I tell you truth it is not the pain of large amount it is pain of hunger . I see many times that my mother eat nothing . it is morality and love of mother for his children’s
So plz thanks your mother giving you a very happy and good life ..

A Christmas Tale

As snowflakes form into crystalline beds
Santa dresses up in his suit so red
Reindeer restless to come out of their stall
Christmas is the most wonderful night of them all
All across the world it's so beautiful to see
People taking the time to fill others hearts with glee
Somewhere high above the clouds in a special place
God and Son sit on their throne a smile upon their face
The reason they are smiling is it warms their heart to see
Love and cheer is everywhere that it could possibly be
Somewhere in a little town nestled nicely away
A worried man looks at the bills he knows he must pay
As his daughter points at the advertisement on t.v.
Excitedly asking of her dad, "Will Santa bring that for me"
Suddenly he hears more mail land in the box
With a thud that hits his heart like a thousand locks
As he shuffles through the bills that day he runs across a card
So he stops and opens it right there in the yard
The thing about this card that made the odds so slim
This man had absolutely no idea who sent it to him
It said,"We know times are tough and what your going through"
"So we placed $500 in this card and sent it off to you"
He searched the envelope and card but there was no name at all
He reckons that makes this wonderful gift the greatest gift of all
He talks it over with his wife and they give half away
To help the local shelter feed the hungry on Christmas day
As we scurry about these days in an awful fuss
I believe up in heaven the Lord is smiling down on us
Because he knows on Christmas day that most all humanity
Takes the time to stop and say, "Lord we give thanks to thee"

Totally fictional poem but the message is one that
needs be heard. In every town across our nation
hungry families will file into the many shelters
hoping to get them and their children a hot meal
and possibly a single gift. If everyone who could
afford to give a dollar would no one would be
turned away - Merry Christmas

I needed you

I needed you to stay,
but with every word you say.
I know it grows close to time,
time for you to go.

I've pushed until you pulled.
Away from me.
So kill me with the love,
you took from me.

I've searched for reasons.
Reasons to keep you here by me.
But nothing seems to matter.

I scream in you face.
I want to keep you here by me...

and 'Ladies'

  and 'Ladies' young and old
do you even know
when i go into the grocery store
and how they come all around me
and i
not even paying attention
as they watch me squeeze this and
squeeze that
and they being all that you are
some what more and some few less
and they
take my hand and place it there
and in my hand they squeeze it
they squeeze it harder than they should
but i'm not paying attention
and as i'm thinking about squeezing
that which needs to be squeezed
in my mind i am squeezing it more
and watching some become flushed
there faces grow dark and pink
so many
and so many my head spins around
looking down as i feel
all of that juice run free
through my hands
and all of my critical thinking
has left me it's gone.

Sly Ole Fox

Sly red fox sneaking around
The master's great estate
Watching and waiting for one
To open the gate to the crate

That housed a hen that was a ten
She was fat and sleek with plenty to eat
Rested, refreshed with leisure complete
That sly ole fox found a spot

Hidden from view so he thought
He watched as the master
Opened the crate door letting
The fat hen come out and explore

So that's how to get at that hen
I'll dress up and just pretend
That I am the master of the estate
Then I'll just open the gate

I'll get that hen that is a ten
And for lunch I'll invite her in
But in the pot of stew she will go
She'll make dumplings for me to show

Moonglow

A curious outlook was once made in exploration

Shifted in the sand of some newest invasion
A frantic waste in some Payton Place
Through twisted logic one may learn
A swift variation in some dream then sublime

Tainted by the ever increasing worry of the day

Long stemmed roses a purple type of haze
A ham hardly eaten even though it clearly wasn't glazed
Moonglow over Miami
Moonglow in my memory

Moonglow over the sunbeam
A pictoral montage of design through the influx caught in time
We mix words filtered through a sorted disgust of intellect
Being exposed to the elements

Then in direct response to its vested choice prediction

Was their something else that you have been wishing
Moonglow may turn over a brand new episode
In direct correlation to a dream while living in a vile world filled with mean!
~

On sunlit days through the briars & hate

Those who claim to be something when they are nothing?
Moonglow
Those who have tremendous tombstones for eyes,
Does this come at any big surprise?

Moonglow

The prince of the air who doesn't even care!
Viscious long hanging fangs that bite in the night to fright!
We stand erected in front of the mirror
A glistening aura filtered through hope in logical & happiness

Torn

Moonglow fever!
The twilight sun had tainted my inner vision
In coping stregnth with logic & scope
In instant fervor with power & stregnth

A promise that was once made in the dark has now come into its fullest of light
To help light the spark to what it was I have been waiting for,
Shining diamonds full of circles in certain peril asunder
Abortion on demand when will we ever understand ?
Decisions that were once made in the dark
Have now again come to its fullest of lights
Homeless in our streets
Moonglow

A branch once twisted then fallen headlong through the wind tempted to once again regain;
The instant knock on the door let us convert after repentance to suddenly explore so much more !

Moonglow
A solution from the very presence of reality
Tombstones for eyes in their evil vested eternity !

Eucharist - in its spiritual realm

Along with Jesus' discourse as the Bread of Life,
bears a powerful meaning of his divinity.
It's a metaphor with spiritual truth,
that identifies himself as food for our souls.

As a sign of his broken body and his shed blood;
the inner call reflects to abide in him.
We partake of the meal, a sacred meal,
to make us one with him, abiding in the Lord Jesus Christ.

What an experience of joy to receive him!
with a great deal of gratitude and reflection.
It's a spiritual fulfillment, a source of strength
that enables one to sustain his life amid struggles.

The Eucharist we celebrate each day
draws us to believe that there's hope.
As a spiritual food that makes us grow,
we're hopeful to embrace life and start anew.

On Knowing the Dark Side

How does one begin to have recognized
First it requires that one admits to one’s self
Do I live my life in search of perfect health?
Then the dark side has ye hypnotized

You see the darkness is quite clever
Once you wallow in its fear of loss
Are you starting to understand you pay the cost?
Controlling your destiny forever

Caring not for another human being condition
Driving in you a false perception of need
Increasing in you one’s emotional greed
See now thee that it has a dark mission?

Smiling summer faces

With the onset of warm temperature
across cultures there’s a celebration;
elsewhere in the village or urban setting,
there’s fun and lovely interaction.

In the neighborhood, there’s a good vision
With green trees and beautiful flowers,
militonia orchids, lilacs and tulips,
all these are reasons to smell them.

As many shade trees like oak, maple,
pecan, pine and birch are everywhere,
skunks, raccoons and gophers are seen
in the bush that come down to search
for food and other things to discover.

Just the time to jump-start summer,
family barbecues cause to unite them;
with all the hype and exciting moment
these are ways to experience summer.

Mementos of time may have gone by
but family get-together in the backyard
recaptures the spirit of having fun,
the meaning of common good to everyone.

What a lovely day! A feast to the eyes!
when everything is green – called existence;
when pollen grains drift in the wind,
can cause even allergies that lead to affliction.

Despite these things when birds descend
when bees and wasps form a hive,
truly, an attraction to behold with wonder
a gift to all, with joy for a smiling summer.

Largely a place where one finds wisdom
awaked with a cavalcade of summer signs
a passel of people focused upon interactions
human relationships, a voyage through summer.

As I Seek God He'll Come to ME

You will find God when you seek
him with all of your heart.
Getting on your knees in prayer
is a good place to start!

Remember... A double-minded man is
unstable in his ways.
He has no true direction in
life when he prays.

Draw near to God and he'll
draw near to you.
His word will be your guide
in all that you do.

Hunger for his righteousness...
and be filled!
Drawing close to Jesus is
 what God has willed!

He desires an intimate love...
more than words can say!
Come to him now... with no more delay!

Trust him with all of your heart...
not your own understanding.
In everything...acknowledge him...
and heed his commanding!

Obey his command to serve with
body, sould and mind.
Everlasting peace and love you will surely find!

His desire for you to know and
 love him is never ending.
Come to him now... please...
no more "pretending."

Reach out today... and call on his
wonderful name!
His love for you is forever
and will never change!

Allow him to bring joy to your
heart and pure delight!
Please come to him now.. why not tonight?

THE UTOPIAN'S DREAM

A wizard, not a wisher can
do magic with his powers,
if all were wizards...
wishes would be non-existent.

And like ordinary, simple people...
I will make my three wishes today,
but they are not for myself at all:
they are for others living far away.

My first wish is this:
I would like to have the unlimited wealth
of Bill Gates or Donald Trump,
not to invest in software technology or
purchase airplanes or skyscrapers,
but to feed the world's hungry...that horrible hunger,
which even Pope Benedict XVI can't wipe out completely
with the thousands of Catholic Missionary Charities.

My second wish is this:
have a gathering of all faiths
once a year in every continent,
and let its people praise God in their own way,
some will disagree with my universal idea so unrealistic;
it would be a spiritual and cultural event
that everyone will remember a lifetime,
so why shouldn't there be a Faith Day,
bringing glory to the Almighty and unifying all races?
Many others will follow me in my quest!

My third wish is this:
to end all wars and unexplainable hatred,
some sacrifice themselves for a cause that's not holy...
inflamed by the deceitful conception of immortality.
Wouldn't it be awesome to travel to other countries that have no boundary?
The stranger would welcome anyone, and the enemy would be a friend.
A dreamer...am I? Yes, all dreams start with a vision, and mine is truly a glorious one!
Happiness will gladden all hearts, and glee will shine on all faces;
harmony will fortify the bonds of friendship, and everyone will love their neighbors...
and hate and unkindness will be eternally buried into the past.

Entered in Amy Green's contest, " If I could have three wishes "

The Meaning Of A friend

   The Meaning Of A friend

His old hands were cracked, weathered, and worn.
His clothes were so ragged, filthy, and torn.
His old grey hair was unkempt, and in bad need of a comb.
And I knew without a doubt, that it had been awhile since, this old gentlemen
had known the comforts of a home.
I stood in the shadows watching him with sadness and with awe.
And I thought how much he favored my own grey headed old paw.
Well I watched as he picked up a discarded sack, containing food scraps and an
empty soda can.
And I thought to myself how degrading, what hunger can do to a man.
My mind started wandering what could have sunk him to this low.
I couldn’t take it any longer I guess I just had to know.
As I walked up to him I could see the loneliness in his sad old face.
And I wondered how long had it been since anyone had showed to him a little
kindness, mercy, or grace.
I said mister I’m a friend if you’ll allow me to be.
I’ve got a spare room I think will fit you it even has a key.
I’ve got plenty of food to share I told him, and that I was quite lonely living there.
He looked at me and nodded, I think he said a prayer.
Well we shared that winter together he truly was such a delight.
He sat and told me stories as we would talk late into the night.
He told what had happened, and that he had simply given up.
How he’d lost his wife to cancer, I saw a tear fall to his cup.
As we stood there fixing to part ways, he said son you’ve truly been my friend.
He said I hope we can keep in touch, let’s not let this be the end.
He said I think I’m going to see my girl, let her know I’m still alive.
She had just had a little girl and I think she would be five.
Adios and God be with you and he walked out of the room.
A tear ran down my cheek as I thought how we first met, and from that sack of
scraps how this wonderful friendship it did bloom.
And I wondered was I placed there just for him, or just maybe he was placed
there just for me.
I don’t know but I thank God anyway, and that’s how this story ends with a new
beginning for all to see.

Larry Rice

Larry Rice did something nice
When he made his life a sacrifice
Larry Rice did something right
By turning someone's darkness into light
As I wonder about right and right
I wonder what God did to Larry Rice
And I see visions of the bitterly poor
Those cursing God for being so poor
I see visions of Gods children
being without
without a home, without a coat
without food, without pity
Then I see a vision of God
raising up a man
A man who would turn pity
into repentance
And then turn repentance
into a gift
to and from God
And not just stop at pity
God did something very nice
When God made Larry Rice

Time and Work

Ecclesiastes 8:6NCV
There is a right time and a right way for everything.
John 6:27
Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life.

We wonder sometimes with great worry about what time will bring. We must remember that
God has given time to us as a gift. God was present at the beginning of time and He will be
present at the end of time.

We cannot fear for the future because it is God's hand on eternity. It is you who dictates
your time by the choices you make. We often feel there is not enough hours in the day to
accomplish our tasks. We often feel there is never any time for ourselves. Remember to ask
God to help you, and He will show you where and how to find the time.

God will put your mind at ease with time. Time is a gift, and everyday is yours. God wants

The

As an attempt, in the most philisophical sense.

A line was drawn in the sand yet filtered;
Through its etched silence within hand...

Amidst twilight with adjective faith will break the mends,

It is my hope that someday we will live to understand
~

Through its inner torn desolation marked on its blotted page yet fully intact

In its bitter silence shouts filled with laughter in fits of rage;
The ultimate decision based on the mere notion of commonplace.
Can we ever escape its soul vested trace;
Mark the man who is willing to explore hence the opened door,

An open door through its billows torn chase;

Among its pain a certain intellectualized gain lest I refrain.

To count the cost through its heart felt trade;
The ultimate decision amidst its fray
A cover that was once blown within its sequential way
Broad spectrum as an ellusive figure
A tree with leaves blowing through its breeze
Some may make their beds while others simply lie in it
Simply put, we either will make or break our covenant
The ultimate desicions within life's means
It's a matter of life or death.

Count the cost

We often will let things fester too long

We trust in self to sing its gloomy song
We each need a tender shoulder to cry yet find none
We often slip away to into its crimesome tide that only blinds some;
We sit in idle turn to its words as if you haven't heard
We each mix viscious words that know it hurts
Yet do we ever count the cost
A given sense of logic torn across
Back alley decisions made in the dark
Having come full circle into its light
The to commonly shift toward its gloom & doom
A fatal lost story of remorse shall seal your tomb
We often get a little frantic in its complacency
We then reflect to look inward toward its choiced resolution
With a solemn word that was once spoken in the dark
Has now come fullest circle into the light
A peril vex sort proned into desolation
Count the cost when all of reason ceases to exist
It's either a hit or a miss?
An inward look at harmony marked on its blotted page intact
To its sequential hidden beast reality
In sore torn displeasure to numb its pain
We then look inward toward its choiced resolution
Was their a word spoken in the dark?
Has now come to the fullest of light
A peril vex proned to desolation!
Count the cost when all of reason ceases to exist
An inward look at harmony
In sore displeasure to numb at the influx of weather
Yet if we reach inside within its ability to hide
Behind the false hidden garb of compromise
Count the cost!

Charity to others means giving to you
Helping all fellow (wo)man is part of the plan
Righteousness existing in you be the clue
Integrity to self above everything else
Spiritual intent must be in cement
This will save the earth giving new birth
Jesus Christ what more must I say?
Earthly bound fear is nothing to steer
Sex is used to keep hold of you
Utterly lustful desire leads to fire

living candle

None Can Do It Alone

All wanting the truth to be known
Yet many continue to doubt
There they will find no clout
Knowing none can do it alone

Fore they will reap that what they have sown
Your desires will either lead you to fire
Pleas forever stained in the words by these Pryor’s
Know that all must one day atone

Embracing thee one true bridesmaid and groom
This is the only way to enter His estate
So, cries these messengers standing at the gate
Encompassing understanding that all must one day attune

Broken Promises

The spirit of the age has tempered vile degrade
In desolation it's will torn wild
We send vomit into letters exposed to loosened fetters
Strangers
Erupted in mass chaos in its plausible quest
The more we want so the more we in turn invest
We wait in idol fancy as some lost souls in Sid & Nancy
We hurt then tie the tube getting loose lube filled with screws
We plummage into a violent existance isn't it relevant?
We think were alone yet we never are cause God is still in charge
In social regard toward difficult matters that appease
We lose sight of love & social need
In foot steps drawn in the sand someday we may learn & understand
In columns of rescued menure pile in its claim
The world outside is totally insane
A casual encounter with a so called friend?
The next day you got Aids, now you got pain!
The choices we make to appease the mind
In columns of choiced red, blue & brown....

Broken promises through its shattered glass filled with pain
Broken promises can easily drive a man insane
A court jester will amuse the crowd as long as there is an occasion
Perhaps society is in need of a break on a long awaited vacation?
Closed minded sentiments filled in vile affection
The novice gets hungry stops at his local 7 eleven
Promises made in the dark have come full circle into the light
Broken Promises with advant garde choices made in the night
Elaborate decorum in want of passage;
We last a minute & grieve as the savage!

MORE THAN A BLESSING

Rain is more than a blessing,
watch it from a window pouring...
birds take a long bath as little springs form;
and kids run outside to get wet and dance in the storm.

Rain is good for every tree, pant and flower,
and on them we daily rely for food and adornment...
plenty of showers in warm spring, thunders in scorching summer;
the happy eyes of farmers love to see it fall on fields for a bountful harvest.

Without rain the earth would be a huge desert,
no plant life would survive in arid soil and the cattle
on prairies would aimlessly roam to find a river for their thirst,
many will die and the cowboys without their wild horses wouldn't be so festal.

Rain is a source of wealth and more than a blessing, it promises
pretty roses in bloom, abundant fruits on trees and wheat with golden kernels
in the fileds, where those stuffed scarecrows protect them from very hungry ravens;
imagine life without rainfalls, it'll resemble the somber moon with dry valleys and canyons.

In my neighbor heart

Stomachs

Of the people that has no food

All the crying children without

Anything to eat

Meanest and strife

Humble Knoll

Hello my Lord, I sing for the harvest from thee.
Just one hymn of praise, from me to you,
Thank you for guiding, my rows of seed they see.
Blessings of warmth and rain, you gave true.
Both sun and moon keep watch, by you they do.
Universal glory, given from your precious heart,
I shall always give thanks, to you from the start.

The harvests you have given, each year with love.
Blessed are we that partake, of what you provide.
Seeds planted in chastity, transcended from above.
Your glorious power enriches the land in pride.
Nurtures our bodies, feeds our soul, as you decide.
Hear these words, though meager from my soul.
I pray, for a harvest of love, upon this humble knoll.

Life As We Know It

We live in a world that's hostile.
Where things seem impossible.
What we believe to see appears to be visible.
The truth lies with our lives like unburied fossils.
Only we can make our dreams possible.
The truth is always revealed before our sight.
Who don't want to be treated right?
Hate and evil will never have victory.
There is a plaque of depression and misery.
We the human race must continue to rebuke the enemy.
Just in case you didn't notice we're in a spiritual war.
Things we don't need or want we just crave for more.
Time has expired.
We treat Jesus like He is for hire.
What happen to our country's legacy?
Now days can we still define democracy.
The stories we now tell will never end.
But will they ever begin.

THINGS NOT EQUAL

THINGS NOT EQUAL

There are those who reach an age past 100,
while some never chanced to live.
There are those who share their blessings,
while some choose not to give.

There are those who have never gone hungry,
while some never survive.
There are those who find fame and fortune,
while some dreams shatter and die.

There are those who are rich and famous,
while some are poor and alone,
There are those with power and possessions,
while some are without a home.

There are those who are happy and healthy,
While some are sick and depressed.
There are those who believe life is the end,
while some say: “it was just a test!”

Trouble Moving

So you sit there and ask what am I to do?
First one needs to make a choice of truth
Then all need to reflect it in the booth
Well I say that it’s really up to you

But first take time to gather up knowledge
There is always time if life if want to make it
The time is now to stand up and take it
Contemplate and pray then you acknowledge

Then you will find more who are willing to stand
Spreading love and peace without remorse
Even though it will bring many to discourse
This I say will lead us to the promise land

Grazing Among Tingles

Wanting to shatter the glass ceiling?
Well this is how you start your healing
Emotions are like onions so start pealing
Each and every solitary thin layer
Thus requires you to do in prayer
Tasting one at a time might scare
Yet each of us has our cross we bare
Now this is a pun without a doubt
All know that change is in the air
All must make a decision each day and the next
Tomorrow is promised to no one
Though each second that follows
Thy choice has made its effect
In your hearts and minds soul
This is where you detect

As you chew on this food do not mingle
It is necessary for you to feel each tingle

Stand To Understand

All across the land
Many will not understand

Crawling like worms
Failing or discern

The reasons why the suffer
Know that you all are tougher

Dwelling in you He resides
Just asking you to abide

No longer shall the One tolerate
The time has come to obliterate

Spitting in this retort
You all have his support

Keep your reframe firm
Ignore all material concern

Just see things from his point of view
Then in you His Spirit will renew

Process of Growth

Nature provides equal opportunity to grow,
Plants, animals, birds and human has growth, process is slow.
Heat, cold, air and soil has fertilisation for food,
Rain helps for everyone growth that is fruit or wood.

A Lion is non-vegetarian; his food is only meat,
He has a terror for animals and a human defeat.
Elephant is vegetarian greenery is his food,
A Man shares his burden when he has a big load.

He uses Lion and elephant to train for a circus,
He seeks only enjoyment when he feels he is fuss.
Elephants win the battles for a man,
He fights against an enemy when he is train.

Animals eat animals, too birds and sects,
They also eat grain and fruit for their pickets.
A Fish eats only fish but everyone eats fish,
Only a shark has attack for his tasty dish.

A human eats food, fruit and meat for energy,
He takes vitamins and minerals for heat clergy.
Iron keeps us warm helps blood to maintain strength,
Vegetables and fruit help a person for a term length.

Obesity, blood pressure, Angina and heart attack,
Garlic, Ginger, onion comes in a kitchen back.
Blood cholesterol, clouts and arthritis,
When he feels sick he opens, a vegetable lights.

A person learns about his food when he is weak,
He learns to cook a soup, carrot, mushroom and leak.
Celery, lettuce, cucumber and tomatoes he eats fresh,
Cauliflower, peas, potatoes and broccoli, he boils dish.

Cheese, Milk, sugar and salt, make a bread tasty,
Chocolate, cherry and flour make a pleasure pastry,
Chips and crisps, young food, fry, grill and cooking,
Chutney, sauce and vinegar he orders for a taste booking,

Air, water and food, a natural system for existence,
What is right to eat or wrong a man seeks balance?
A Man likes to enjoy life, healthy body and mind,
Younger generation and memories he lives behind.

Decastich-FABERETTE

Faberette
is the name of my wild
and incorrigible cat...
down the stairs she scurries
to keep intruders off my door;
and she, with her sharps claws,
challenges the most vicious dogs,
who would like a match
on my newly carpeted floor...
without letting me breaking up the fight!

Faberette,
eat your food and grow strong,
they will be back with their groan,
but your meows won't do much;
let me teach you how to win a fight
and keep them off for good...
more faith you must have in me!
Faberette...
come here and jump in my lap;
Faberette...there's no need for fright!

They haven't bothered you for a week now,
they must have sensed a change indeed;
and like friendly dogs they play and crawl,
instead of pulling off your spotted fur!
And cautiously you mingle with them with minimal fear...
can cats and dogs in friendship suceed?
But a word of caution I should make you aware of,
not all of them can change
and remain tame for long...
Faberette, be slicker than they are!

Faberette,
on my leather couch lies
under a warm blanket...
I pat her, and her feline eyes
flash the warmest glow; and I couldn't be
more proud of this wonderful pet,
keeping me company and share moments of joy!
And on her birthday, I even buy her a kitten toy!
O Faberette,
my adorable cat!

Good Friends Till The End

You are my friends
Way until the end.
I love you very much
For your tender loving touch.
You make me feel new
And always give me kisses too!
Don''t feel to shy
Cause this no lie.
You can touch, taste, and feel
Which just makes me squeal.
You give me great pleasure
That I have found the treasure.
The treasure is you
And it shines bright too!
You make me feel sad
But I know I will be glad.
I think you are cute
You whistle like a flute.
Sometimes I feel I''m a nobody
So I decided to learn Karate.

RELUCTANCE TO SOME MEAL

Before the Deluge,
God had forbidden
His chosen people
to eat animal flesh...
it was after the Big Flood
that He ordered Noah
and his family to eat it.
Why be reluctant to eat pork
on New Year's Day...
is it dirty and disgusting?
But isn't poultry or beef
any cleaner that pork is?
Let me have this tasty meal,
and ridicule those who won't:
hypocrites, I say shamelessly....
don't call me a guiltless pagan,
I read from the Holy Scriptures
as God spoke so adamantly.
Let me have sour kraut
and black eyed peas along
with red wine and crunchy bread:
to celebrate what the Lord created
and the Earth abundantly gives!

Love Is Dead

The prince of the power of the air along with his children
666,
Love is dead until we fancy another route of passing?
Chasing after the wind in twilight excursion of light,

Love is dead ever since the 1960's burning bras
Feministic women amazons invading our every portal of death
Viscious long hanging fangs that bite hanging down dripping blood off side
We often run away to hide in fashionable sway,

We can't even hold the door for our neighbor anymore?
Blackened hearts chosing death's door cement,
Broadened venues of pornography & red light districts
A slurrpy & pop rocks,

Love is dead we have inherited lust from the children of the damned!
In sharp contrast toward what Warhol's intent of past exposure
Move over rover and let the fakes take over
Pagans branded with dire evil teeth losing sleep

Gone our the days of Little House & the prairie
Not to mention Little Bo Peep!
Perhaps its that time we take a leak?
Inner circles broadened cliches in imaginative scope

Can even cope when you have an old spice soap on the rope
In certain circles vain cliches again best to hold my breath to count to the number ten?
Love is dead but God is still alive
Love is Hollywood philisophical fake promotion

Phat Kats with blue hats sipping on some magic potion
Rubbing their fake boobies down with Tropicana lotion
Love is dead what is going on in the societal mindset head?
We have erected fabricated idols out of vanity

Vanity of Vanity all is vanity!
We squeeze money out of the imaginary machine turning green
Just to watch that Obama dream?
If you ask me were still living in the evil land of mean!

BRIGHT DRESSES AND SHARP SUITS

Most women on Easter Sunday
Morning wear festive and elegant
Bonnets to match their bright
Dresses; men wear lighter, sharp
Suits with cheery feeling, not the
Usual dark ones that are so
Depressing and their neckties must be
Perfect! Coming out of the church in
Throngs, they seem brides and grooms
Again...chatting and smiling at one
Another, knowing that He was,
Risen and gone to Heaven to
Prepare a place for them and their
Children...shouldn't they rejoice
Today? And sitting at an exquisite
Table they say Grace, while Easter
Eggs and bunnies tempt them with their
Lively colors and sweet smell! Even the
Dogs and cats hide underneath the table for
An unforgettable, delicious dessert!

The Dust of God's Feet (Part II)

The waters flow. The land drinks. The pools are filled with the small
rain and the great rain of His strength upon the just and unjust. The earth brings
forth herbs meet for those who dressed it; receiving blessings from God with
fruitful seasons, our hearts are filled with food and gladness. This is His
witness. As He cuts a channel for the torrents and a path for the thunderstorm,
His doctrine drops as rain upon mown grass and upon the mountains that grass
may grow. His speech distils as dew into streams with goodness from the
morning cloud, and he even covers the bottom of the sea until the thick cloud is
wearied. The bright cloud is scattered, wherein the lord ascends. Fair weather
comes out of the north in golden splendor, as the tender grass springs out of the
earth by the bright shining after rain; on the good and evil His sun does shine.
So shall God come in awesome majesty with power and great glory will be
appear. His strength is in the clouds. Heaven is His throne and earth is his
Footstool. He will walk upon the wings of the wind in his faithfulness that
reaches as high as the clouds, and his favor is as a cloud of the latter rain to
provide food abundantly, the corn of Heaven, as did the former. And as many of
us who have partook of His bread shall be gathered into the harvest receiving a
blessing from God, being caught up in the clouds evermore to be with Him to
see Him as He is.

CURRANT EVENTS FOOD REPORTED
A man quite gleefully pointed out to me that JESUS is not a dumpster JESUS
however eye shot back at him gleefully is GOD and iff there is SOMETHING in
that dumpster that HE wants me just to have then SIR oh eye will have it see eh?
A survivor is the eye.
John 6:35-36

Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go
hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty. But as I told you, you
have seen me and still you do not believe."
On the way to this cold freezing day eye found my strength lies not in my right
hand or arm but in my faith eye walk. Eye find things that no one else wants, as
eye walk eye soon survive. Pizza sometimes fish sometimes coffee on my list no
cokes no tomatoes SOK eye have some tomatoes in a can
The list is endless in my mind and desire comes from a man and coffee is the
plan. Cups are full or half empty is it half full or empty? Pizza is okay when found
in cold weather a man can be the judge of whatever food he finds eye do not fill
mee up with unpleasentness or brine eye drink but not the water that eye find OH
FAITH will end my misery OH FAITH will feed me too bread is in the pizza that eye
dew.
When Jesus saves me at the final trumpet and eye make my last ditch stand at
that time then he is not going to say WHY oh little man did you eat the scrounge
pizza on the way but iff a loving GOD did ask me this is what eye say
PIZZA is food and leftovers is fine my mind works much better with some eye can
find. FOOD is never a sin or a problem to me. The eye does not eat strips of left
over pieces he eats the entire pizzas. Eye am good at what eye dew eye can
survive. And iff ewe ever get the word out to the people in the twilight zone just tell
them scrounging pizza is better than the bone of chewing fat from steaks and
living high on Hogg eye am better off alone and living with my love she knoes just
who she is she knoes just who she loves.

Chosen

I was chosen before my time.
Listen very close this is not just a rhyme.
My life was known before I was born yet,
Time had to come around the horn.
Now I am here with a job to do,
Part of my job is to watch over you.
Yes I am a keeper and I must be kept,
For another brother’s died while I have slept.
The poison metal pipes are going around,
Flowing in, flowing out and all around town.
Earning a day’s wages and still in need,
Then the poison metal pipes help kill a seed.
We’ve been accused for doing most of the wrong,
And if we’re not careful, we’ll believe all the long.
In the midst of it all, others round about me fall,
STILL, I am destined to answer my call.
My call is from above to both young and old,
So what I am telling you, I am only being told.
By one most know of, and they may know OF Him well,
But its not enough to know of,
THAT’S THE REASON WHY OTHERS FELL!!!
You see I owe you as a brother, and I owe Him as a Father
So I am here for Him, and there’s really no bother.
I will do what I’ve been destined to, this I know is right.
During the morning, during the evening, and into the night.
I’ve been called, picked out, with a mission ahead.

And if you don’t take heed, you may wind up dead.
You see, dead is being more than without a beat,
It is also being held under another’s feet.
Not thinking for yourself, influenced by the WRONG others,
Persuaded by some BOYS, and then, becoming mothers.
Not following the wisdom of our parents from old,
Not wanting to take heed to what we are told.
We are leaders by nature and
We can’t help this,
Still the way some of us are leading,
Others will never reach this bliss.
You can not be a leader less you have someone to follow,
But whom can you lead, the strong or the hollow.
We do not have long in this earthly place,
Yet its not about the color, the gender or the race.
Its about being a soldier and the chain of command,
The torch has now been put into my own hands.
You see they’re many torches, all in the hands of the same,
Strong minds, strong willed with the backup of
“THE NAME”
The end is soon to come so I must go now,
But you have already been chosen for right here and now.
You are the next leaders, I would give it some thought,
Because you have not only been “CHOSEN”, but;
You’ve also been

BOUGHT !!!

Bridging Old Worlds and New

We sit here talking about subsistence
Urban farming as power lines are torn down
The choas of nature doing what she will
 As human creativity manages
Assigning cause and effect where determined

I'm sighing as the voices pass
Knowing there concern will turn elsewhere
We are always shifting as live changes

The basic individual moods mediate
Terribe twos the expression of self and choice
As environment is strictly undergone in expression
 Visualizing what is realized

Take another deep breath as the future plunges
Gathering speed for a new destiny
Exhilerating to be at the forefront, young and healthy

We must change and adapt
 So as not to deteriorate
There are other selves to manage
Other futures to forge

Deliberate drunkenness, always a mortal sin
If the person is completely deprived of the use of reason by it
But drunkenness is not intended
Or desired may be excused from mortal sin

You and I

For the tears I cry u hold me tight
Are the tears that turn into dreams at night.
I peep into, my window glass
And watch the brightest stars go pass.
For the smiles I make
Are the ones you gave
That helped me up and be so brave.
When I fall,you catch me
and hold me close
the love you give me
helps me grow the most
I seek no danger,
You guide me way
So when I need to cry
Im down to pray.
At times when im lonely
I pled for help
Thanks for being there for me
And the promises you kept.

I EXIST FOR A PURPOSE

I have many qualities and talents
that make me popular and likeable for my kindness,
and unpretentious gallantry;
ask me if I'm blue-blooded like the gentry!

I exist for a purpose and I intend reveal my cause;
honesty and shrewdness will guard me against errors...
do weeds grow in a well-maintained and embellished garden?
A grubby garden attracts gloominess, mine appeals to sunshine!

I have traveled down rough and dark roads,
grabbing the attention of bad-wishers,
who handed me gooseberries, not gorse;
it was a clumsy course swarming with rocks and thorns!

I exist for a purpose that puts fear into my unseen enemies,
who grumble and judge more than the-assumed-righteous-ones,
they are obsessed with their perfection and like to impose it on me;
but do they know that I control my destiny by spinning my fortune' wheel?

My belief is not to accept anything of worthless beauty,
I love to hide myself in the grain fields, and shake their stalks...
to celebrate a harvest more bountiful than sunflowers;
and I imagine myself gorging on fresh-baked bread daily!

O golden grains, your seeds satiate many that earn their hard living,
saying grace at mealtime...as God gives them His blessing;
and those hands that cut the husks off are much detested
by the elite with a feeling of inferiority and a lack of gratitude!

I exist for a purpose to bring glory to the Heavens,
that magnificently dazzle upon me in times of desperate need;
pity is an unacceptable word whenever they attempt to make a deal;
I change no direction and try not to fall into the trap of moral weakness!

Preponderance

 Preponderance
Preponderance

So many people live in darkness and superstition the web and internet eye am
certain add some falter in among them let us see just how bad this thing could
get. The bible verse is plainly written and taken from the context says and yet a
myriad bunch of people make the evidence all wet Oh they say Judas went out
and hanged hisself and then they quickly turn the page again and finger falls to
open page again it says now GO AND DO THOU LIKEWISE? Oh foolish man has
killed hisself again. When will people never learn the will of GOD?
It is the sovereign will of GOD that Jesus Christ has come and taken all our
penalties upon the TREE of sacrifice the Cross has done the work that each man
could not bring to bear the fruit of love. To refine clothing in the dark to make the
linens white it took HIS blood. There is almost nothing measures up please do
some works and fill your cup with pleasant things and love. Feed someone or
feed yourselves at least with diligence and concrete things some fish perhaps
some meat instead of bread. Drinks and cookies iff you are rich
Lay them end to end on tables laden with the rich fatty food of thanksgiving
and left over candy from your Halloween the candy corn is fave with me.
But even iff you lay a can of food in front of only yew be thankful that you eat.
The LORD paid for all the turkey and the meat. Begin to realize it is no parlor trick
and reach out in your falter to preponderance.

New To Old Experience

The Cycle will always reset
Undergoing that what is foretold
Is up to every human to behold
The will’s of (wo)man will beget

So all of these lives have been done before
Go through all are we these metaphoric changes
Initiating with forgiveness everything rearranges
Multiplying cells always starts at the core

All of you just wanting to know more
He says, all you ask then to receive
Want to live a new life then believe
What else better have you to explore?

Fabel32

 Fabel32
Fabel32

Man or Dove

CharlaXFabels

GOD is Jesus. A living GOD does not have to frustrate Him self with a man at all
but he does what a GOD wants and no one can tell HIM anyway. He could have
done a different planet and never made the man the ADAM. He could have been
a DOVE and ruled the WORLD of DOVES nothing moving on the surface of the
planet except food for DOVE.
John 20:30-31
Jesus did many other miraculous signs in the presence of his disciples, which
are not recorded in this book. But these are written that you may believe that
Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his
name.
The written word is given not so perfectly it seems the detractors of the Gospel
will agree the BIBLE has been written by the men and not the DOVE. He does not
complain of feathers colored wrong he does not jealously assume the plume of
other birds he never drinks too much or eats too many seeds of grass he never
wants a different colored shirt of blue upon his back he has feathers mostly gray
and brown a DOVE is GOD in FORM of FLESH and LOVE. Today eye discovered
a dove a thing of beauty made in love the GOD most certainly seems to me to be
a creator capable of form. The feathers around the eye. The way the dove tried to
see me from the side she turned her delicate head just like a lady in love. The
feet seemed too large on her for dove but seemed like duck perhaps this dove
was just malformed an egg in need of more attention in the nest but not the fault
of GOD. On DOVE WORLD there is one tree where DOVE the GOD does live. She
preens her feathers and she rules but yet she loves them. When a DOVE dies
and falls from SKY she moves herself to see just where it lays and then SHE
Cries a mournful sound in otherwise so pretty of a face she can raise it from the
dead and send it into Heaven then to live and fly forever no more in need of world
of food or anything. One day upon the Dove Earth the sky was filled with war the
demon doves were killing all the poor. They called a halt in vain attempts at
peace and then a most marvelous thing. The DOVE GOD she flew to high and
spread her wings in a hurried dive she slammed into the ground at Supersonic
speed and then she died and then she screamed eye am alive eye hold the keys
the poor will soon come and live with me and then the SOUL of GOD the DOVE it
flew to Heaven where it grew to be the JESUS GOD.
He rules in love. A DOVE,MAN,GOD.

IRRESISTIBLE

His love so divine
I’m glad he is mine
Always so loving and caring
When he is in your life it has meaning
He gives me faith to never be blind
When I call his name he is always on time
His love is so merciful
And his blessings are plentiful
To the world Jesus is the light
To praise and glorify Him my pen takes flight
Thousands of stories are told of Him
His blood rids us of sin
I think of my Lord night and day
With folded hands and bent knees to Jesus I pray
He teaches, he loves, he inspire, he brings wealth, he saves, and heals
My Jesus is so real
The King of Kings is so incredible
He is just irresistible!

Deuteronomy 6:5 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with
all your strength.

Psalm 89:1-2 I will sing of the LORD’S great love forever; with my mouth I will make your
faithfulness known through all generations. I declare that your love stands firm forever,
that you established your faithfulness in heaven itself.

Hunger zone

For years I have fought
And battled with weight
Now disabled and in pain
I fear it's too late

I can't eat this
I can't eat that
Diets are fads
They make me fat

I've tried the patches
They've taken my money
No magical cure for
My big fat tummy

I wasn't always as big
You should know
It was having a baby
That made me grow so

I can't stick to the books
For so much I don't like
If I have to eat muck
They can go take a hike

I've tried the tablets
But for me they don't suit
Not eating sufficient
The problems the root

Try three meals a day
Instead of just one
A plate that's for sandwiches
For lunch to put on

I'm trying to lose
Of second week I am now
I'm not using scales
Or measuring how

I'm combining it all
From the net I can find
A menu that suits
That does not blow the mind

It's working quite well
At the moment I know
For in smaller trousers
My belly will go

I can fasten my blouse
And the buttons don't gape
My cleavage is shrinking
There's ample to take

If I continue to lose
At this sensible rate
My clothes will not fit
And I'll drop all the weight

But as third week approaches
I begin to have doubts
The weight tends to stable
And I tend to drop out

I need to stand firm
In resolve and give time
For my body to shape
And bring back its waist-line

A little encouragement
Goes a long way
And the poetry keeps
The snacking at bay

So if I seem busy
With armfuls of writes
Forgive me for starving off
Hungers of life

Toothie's Wild Turkey

It always seemed year after year
When Thanksgivin’ time came near—
That Toothie, our ol’ grouch coosie
Fixed chow that was a doozie.

And every year he just swore
Would be better that before—
‘Course it always was just jerky
And not tasty wild turkey!

This year Toothie was diffident—
Swore it would be different—
Got mouths waterin’ fer drumsticks
And no more of his dumb tricks.

And sure ‘nuff on that turkey day,
It was roastin’ right away—
Though it sure looked long and skinny—
We wouldn’t whine or whinny.

Though it did seem to have long ears,
None of us had any fears—
And we belched as was our habit
Though we knew it was jack rabbit!

That feast turned out to be our best
On a campfire I would guess—
Ol’ Toothie sure enough came through
With his roasted ‘turkey’ stew.

So it would be a year again
Till that coosie was our friend—
When he promised again the bird
And we took him on his word!

A love that will not let me go

Pain...Torn,

Circumstances;
The walk on a path to shed a tear to numb the pain
A desolation sets in the brain let I shall refrain,
Words chosen in the fragments of my mind...

Sheltered by the fear of prison doors
Lest I emplore another chosen rhyme;
To shine a light on make believe,
Eyes with spots chosen doom in gloom

To weather the storm in the plausible norm;
Subside with vile degrading tears in the eyes,
A shelter to cry beneath the pavement fair
Beyond approach till one can compare;

I treasured a rose that was plucked some time ago,
French braid in hair yet none the worse for wear,
A vile of dust chosen influence with tears,
Shaped as the river Nile still we knew all the great while

The smile from the lonesome child
In the call of the wild;
Breath of fresh air to compare a shoulder to cry,
My final sigh as time slowly passes me by

I am the Lad

Fifties and hundreds are set in companies upon the grass;
Is not there a cause? Yea, but in this desert place, who will give
Victuals to so great a multitude? Give ye them to
Eat. But we have not the sufficiency to buy enough bread
for all of these that they may even take a
Little. How many loaves have ye? Go and see. Then
One of the twelve said, There is a lad here with five loaves and two fishes, but
Among so many what are they? Maybe we should send them away to the
Villages. But Jesus said, Bring them hither to me; and He lifted up His
Eyes, and blessed and brake the loaves, and gave them to His disciples to
Set before the multitude; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.
When all were then filled and satisfied, Jesus said,
The Fragments that remain, gather up that no thing be lost; and that
Which was left over they gathered together and filled twelve baskets
Of the five barley loaves and two small fishes that were blessed
over and above unto those who had eaten, which were about
Five thousand men, besides the women and children. And I, Stachys,
I am the lad who gave and witnessed these things, not knowing the latter end
Should greatly increase; yet, willingly, I still gave, and like the
Heads of Grain that stand out from the stalk, even as the
Ears of corn, I was made an abundance through grace to be a
Supply for their want, and also a partaker with them lacking nothing.

Judge and the Grace

Adam ate the apple
he wanted to judge for himself
and we are all his children

Judgements of the judges
the wise judge all things
it would be wise not to judge at all
those who judge will be judged
to judge our very nature
some will judge angels
and how can we judge angels
when we cannot even recognize the devils within
if we profess to recognize devils then sin
how is it that we can judge ourselves worthy
to inherit the kingdom of heaven

into the fires again, Oh man
if we inherit the Kingdom Of Heaven
what will we do when we get there
and how is it that you do not know
we are home

Memorial Day

Gorgeous day! Wrapped with warm weather,
quietude in surroundings early this morning;
roads are clear; driving isn’t a problem at all,
there’s no rush and one freely takes his time.

Invitations from friends and other relations
a cookout in the yard or dining in a restaurant;
a common tradition to American people,
a wonderful experience, a day to remember.

Our major print, news and TV networks,
show varied events, places, and peoples;
with distinctive features of the celebration
that trace back history and meaning to recall.

As singularly punctuated with solemnity
those veterans in the army and other dignitaries,
along with the president of this beautiful country,
America: the land of free, unity and diversity.

Names engraved in the annals of history
are those heroes who served in this country,
they offered their lives for love and loyalty,
indisputably, heroic giants of the century.

Across the years, memories of the past
continue to serve as a treasure trove,
a wellspring of thought and inspiration;
indeed, a living legacy worthy of imitation.

Kudos and more power to these people
though they’re all gone into the silent land
their spirit, mem’ry and legacy to everyone
unites the whole nation for love and remembrance.

Innocent Blood

That was a butcher shop,
When I acrossed behind,
I saw a suffering animal,
Waiting for death.
Blood was bleeding on the soil,
I remembered them,
Who has lost their lives?
For human dignity
And integrity,
Realised their palpitation
And suffering,
Dripping innocent blood,
Human soul never wears this injustice.
Who will sacrifice for that?
Because it was an animal,
Waiting to serve,
A Halal service for his Master.

WRITING ITS DIKTAT

Beyond the thoughts,
nothing I mourned,
nameless death was writing its diktat.
The dirty epithets were accepted for collage.
Simply a prayer was needed
for a childless truth.
Rudimentary terms owned
a beautiful diction.

The ultimate pain makes you dumb.
Words lose the vision, you walk in a hollow city.
Now is the time to remember the movement of truth
in a jungle of drums.
Eyes must find out the old path.

Huge crowds collect at the door.
Human connections are at strain.
The questions are never answered flawlessly.
Life should not burn like coal,
but be a tree,
in praise of sky,
wind and earth.

A WISH FOR RICHNESS

It may sound foolish or even insane
to have a wish for richness or fame,
and it's perfectly normal and human
to long for things we don't have;
but it's morally wrong to use them
against others...for one's greed and gain!

That conviction comes from inside,
uncovering the unclearness of doubt...
without being afraid of answers so dark;
faith seems worthless without a vision in the mind..
be persistent in seeking gold with an enormous risk,
and many will try a thousand times until they find it!

A small seed will grow into a rich harvest...
sun-nurtured and rain-quencher before sunset,
and all these things you desire
are obtained through prayer;
don't heed the cynic's advice:
push forward with endless stride!

A wish for richness has different motives,
discard the unworthy ones, consider the good ones;
curiousity and effort make people successful,
'till their empty basket is completely full!
Never did I see  believers struggle for food;
it was given because they bow down to a true God!

Real food comes from the fertile earth,
those who eat it will not know early death;
millions of people die from man-made diseases:
cigarettes, drugs, alchool, and promiscuous sex;
if these are to continue, there'll be no one left!

Be considerate of others...don't do anything
you don't want to be done to yourself;
have the kindest heart overflowing with giving:
never stop at anything, if someone laughs;
your determination is the result of dedication:
let all watch and envy you for your perception!

Beacon Of Hope

Looking for a beacon of
Hope
From a simple stranger

Walking down a street in
A strange country

Never been there before

Poverty-stricken seem know
End..
Walking around on the street
Not knowing

Where to turn, mind is lost
Seeking hope..

Maybe a little hope

Coming from the strangers

Walking on this strange street

Never been there before

But faces shown age of depression
Of life

Lines of time

Shown worn and weary, know
Light,

Know hope

One faint tear

Pains of hunger

With sullen bellies

Is their know end in sight in

Strange man land..

Looking for a beacon of hope

Maybe a little light..

Big Piney

A couple of Saturdays ago I remember,
A rather warm day in early September.

A young man in our church and us had just decided,
We wanted to be baptized. Were we excited!

My husband and I crawled in the truck bed
How rough a ride! Oh what a dread!

When we finally got to our destination,
It felt just like I was on vacation.

Good food, good company what else would be,
From such a great church family?

We ate and laughter all filled the woods,
Nobody was critical with the shouldn’t and should’s

A couple hours later, when we got through eatin’
We went to the river side for a meetin’

The water was cold from the mountains flowing
I chilled you to the bone, but it was just the knowing.

Such a great time with the church had we,
That September day at a river called Big Piney!

Take No Thought

Take no thought for your life,
What you shall eat or what you shall drink.
Is not your life more than that of meat?
Behold, the birds of the air
Are fed by God our Heavenly Father.
So, neither do they gather, sow nor reap.
Now aren't we much better than they?

Take no though for your body,
What you shall put on or be your measure.
Is not your body more than stature and clothes?
Consider the lilies of the field;
They toil no, neither do they spin.
Yet, God arrays them and the flower grows.
How much more shall He provide for us of the faith?

Take no thought for tomorrow
And all the things that the world seeks after.
Does not your Heavenly Father know your need?
So seek first God's kingdom and His righteousness,
And all these things shall be added to you
That you beg not, neither be forsaken nor your seed.
How much more then should we patiently wait?

Take no thought and be anxious for nothing;
Tomorrow will worry for things of its own.
Does not each day already have enough trouble?
So in everythng by prayer and supplication
With thanksgiving make your requests known to God
Each day that you and Peace be as a couple.
Now isn't today that tomorrow you feared yesterday?

the profits in a prophet's prophecy

there are profits to be had if you listen to a prophet of the Lord
blessings of infinite proportions if you choose to get on board
the prophecy of a prophet, the words from a man of God
a man whom God will use, a man after His own heart
one who is willing to sacrifice and still do all that he can
to spread the gospel, intercede for others and follow God's master plan
but where are those kinds of prophets today?
true men of God whom we desire to obey
many of them have forsaken their ministries and compromised their callings
and can't seem to realize that spiritually they seem to be stalling
for it's quality and not quantity that the Lord God desires
it's not how many, but how devoted are those whom you inspire

Elijah was a prophet who had an intimate relationship with Christ
he lived during the times of Queen Jezebel's opulent life
but Elijah was a simple man of God who was most adamant
he stood on the word of God and was determined to follow the commandments
he declared one day that God said there would be a drought
and until the people changed their wicked ways, the rains would not pour out

one day on his earthly tour Elijah met a lost soul
a widowed woman of little means who had abandoned all of her goals
Elijah asked her for some water and then he asked her for some bread
she said I only have enough for one last meal and then I will be dead
she had given up, she was defeated, she had relinquished all hope
she had forsaken her belief system and no longer had a desire to cope
yet in the midst of all this virulence and all of this stress
Elijah said to trust in God's word so her testimony would progress
and after she committed to the word and took that leap of faith
she received a profit from the prophet's prophecy, she got a food rebate

when you trust in the Lord to provide all of your needs
He will overflow your storehouse with an abundance of seeds
if you believe in Him, you'll then receive from Him, come out of your comfort zone
trust in a prophet's prophecy it has the power of the heavenly throne
be obedient to God's commands, on His word you can depend
trust in God's promises, they will profit you in the end
the profits in a prophet's prophecy you will then receive
just say yes to all God asks of you and in His word truly believe

You Have Been Touched By God's Grace

You have been touched by God's Grace,
and all your sins erased, now your heart within is pure.

You have been touched by God's Grace,
and your soul has been redeemed, now his love lives within.

You have been touched by God's Grace,
and live each day to him, a true friend HE is to you.

You have been touched by God's Grace,
and now your hearts desires evolve around him, leaving him not out.

You have been touched by God's Grace,
and it is a blessing to see how you touch the lives of others with Jesus' love.

How Could You Know

I hear everyday, about the hungry, and scared,
how not enough money is available for their care.
The children, and elderly, doing without,
tell me, what this is about.
Our land is so rich, and many have much,
then why, oh why, are we hearing such.
Programs are needed in each city, and state,
designed to help them, in any way.
When you're not hungry, and you're not old,
it's hard to imagine, how could you know.

seeking liberty to commit a sin

The tone embodies the elopement, unbound,
to invent the disorder
and divide the provocation.

Night was approaching with few stars,
flowing like the squealing of a dark saint,
blameless, under the thin breath
of the dying sun.

Into the orphanage enters the day
riding on the dust of history.
My journey begins into time
to change into another tomorrow.

SPARKS IN WOODS

Some depth,
my thoughts never touched,
the moonlight fades on my window.
The vague gratification,
falls silently on my mind.
Pausing on relativity,
I open the door to eternity.

Vast loneliness of qualms,
like the cult of dancing doubts
where was the choice?
I felt guilty at the fall of truth.
Black grass was not my doing.
My blood dripped
on every count, on every tear.

I don’t need questions anymore.
Give me landmarks.
Darkness was for me.
I will walk relentlessly
in search of light.
Alone, you will remember the fire,
the spent spark in woods.
It makes a difference
when you are picking flowers.

NOW YOU KNOW

You are not with yourself today.
Conversation was stopped, from cloud to cloud.
Now you know what you did not want to know.

No longer the pathless destiny,
comes near you, you go towards the
bushes to collect the ash, the burnt out
remains of a theme, a design, a horizon.

In memory of books, which are not read
by anyone now. Pages lay wounded. Black
stones trying to hear the sounds of dawn.
The tremors were increasing in the swampland.

The wolves were in howling rage. A daring
gift of death, tormenting the spirit, human
flesh, you watch through the twilight,
through the terror of betrayal. Each tear drop
sacrifices the eternity.

Spinster's List

this very troubled old maid
so beaten down by life
wanted nothing so but not to fade
without being someone's wife

but until that time came about,
she had no choice but to carry on
and when she needed bad some groceries
to me she depended on, and hence you have this yarn...

just give me Spinster's list
and money to pay for it all
I run down to the supermarket,
I mean, this is what she needed, this is why the call...

I'm no big fan of big food shopping,
it's really too much a bore,
I'd far rather go bar hopping,
than spend hours in the store

but she needed me to help
I could never turn her down
she really was a nice lady,
I couldn't bear to see her frown

so off I go in search,
of the food she so much needed,
and back again an hour or two later
it could of been much longer,
but I had really speeded

someday, I sort'a wonder...
will someone shop for me?
If so, one thing will be different...
I'll, for him, how it felt to be.

Dress Casual

Dear Mr. President

Christmas is upon us, and I am busy
planning for the celebration of the birth
of Christ.
This year our family will not have a tree,
for I have been laid off from my job.
They told me, they found someone else
that would do it for half the money, that they
have been paying me.
Also, my health insurance is worthless now,
my family can't get any assistance we need, but
we are still grateful to be able to say,
we live in the USA.
I know for sure we will be getting a turkey
from one of the many churches in our area,
they never forget the less fortunate.
This is the reason for my letter,
my family, and I, would love for you, (and
anyone else, that would like to attend), to
join us, as we celebrate the birth of our
Lord, and Savior. Dress casual, and
remember, In God We Trust.

FOETICIDE

Ends did not meet, like beginnings,
fact was insulted by fiction:
the newborn stuns the God.
          Drop by drop
life drips from ankles.

Desolation takes advantage,
forgets the path, becomes self-centered.
Dialect changes, to taste the foul
          heritage,
cadaver breaks the glass jar.

Foeticide of a flute, overnight
the soft face becomes dark. Orange moon
floats like an empty boat.
          Waves burn
for the sake of swollen lids of time.

The essence of lies weaves a theme
a skull rolls down on a slide
laughing like sin of omissions.
          Night screams.
A hot sun glows from the window.

Open Rebuke

Vials of stolen waters are sweet
To the drunkard who drinks
As if he has not drank
Who inside is like bottled up wine
Pouring new wines into an old wine skin
Though he must vent, ready to burst
He considers not that the wines will run out
And that the bottle will perish
Thus, the simple man seeks another drink
Making glances and taking chances
With festive dances and forbidden romances
The winebibber staggers and falls into deep ditches
Full of the nectar and the dregs of the flesh
Under the tree of knowledge in fields of subtle venoms
Loaves of secret bread are pleasant
To the glutton who gluts
As if she lacks bread
Wiping her mouth saying she has done no wrong
Though she’s known, a woman given to appetite
Yet she puts not the knife to her throat
Neither considers the dainties before her
That such food id deceitful meat
The strange woman craves more delacacies
Making glances and taking chances
With festive dances and forbidden romances
The riotous eater of flesh gnash a mouthful of gravel
Engorged with the grains she grinds
That pierce, alas, like a sword and stabs like a dagger
Whose drowsiness clothes with rags
And covers such impoverished souls
With hunger and sleep, thus you must listen
Guide your heart in the Way
And be not among them
Lest you learn their ways snaring your one soul.

CONFESSIONAL TRUTH

Liquefied version of pain has started working.
human material constructs
a floating emotion at last.
One by one I rediscover
the children of sorrow
among the ruins of ancient prayers.
The fear lurks
under the trees,
under the stones.

I can read it,
unwashed stillness of a revolution.
It was real yesterday,
but collapsed on the rim of today.
My wrinkled faith gets
ready for a proliferation of rites.

The land suffers.
My solitude remains unmeasured.
In despair I latch on to
sounds of pursuing light.
Impatiently the dialogues
are thrown around.
The philosophy of confessional truth
becomes very auspicious.

I Will Ever Be

I walk these lonely roads, where I live
here on earth. I can see the precious
moments ride the waves of the wind.
I see the changing times and I
lose loved ones and friends.
I wonder how long till my
Lord will come? Will
another pass on
without His
loving
grace? I
think of being
with my Lord ( these-
earthly times mean nothing-
to me ). I know my Lord is above
this creation called time. I know it
will not last. I think of the place where
times is no more, where Jesus I know I shall see
and in His loving arms will be!

It is Good (Part II)

Still, there were no sea creatures, no birds, no land creatures,
And there was neither man nor woman;
Yet, God saw that it was good. #11

Since there were no living creatures on the earth,
God created the great whales and every living thing
With which the water teems. He also said, "Let birds fly
Above the earth in the open sky," and God saw that it was good
Blessing them saying, "Be fruitful and multiply."
And there were evening and morning- the fifth day. #12

Now, on the sixth day, God made the wild animals, the livestock
And everything that creeps along the ground, each according to their kinds,
And though God was not finished, He saw that it was good. #13

Then God said, "Let us make man in our image and in our likeness
And let them rule... over all the earth." So God created man in His own image.
In the image of God He created him; male and female he created them. #14

From the dust of the ground He formed man and breathed into his nostrils
The breath of life, and the man became a living soul. #15

Later, causing a deep sleep to fall upon the man, God took out one of the man's
Ribs and closed up the place with flesh. Then with the rib, the Lord God made a
Woman and brought her to the man. #16

 He blessed them saying,
"Be fruitful and multiply. Replenish the earht and subdue it. Have dominion over
the fish... the fowl... and every living thing that moves upon the ground." #17

He also gave them every green plant for food, and it was so. #18

Then God saw all that He had made,
And behold, it was very good. #19

So, He rested on the seventh day because He had finished the work He had
been doing. #20

You can Play

Why do you waste your time?
Time wastage is also a crime,
Understand your time is life,
Recycle yourself as a lime.

Energy can regenerate your aim,
You can recover your needs flame,
Nobody can feed for nothing,
Your idealness is a shame.

You can fly in an open space,
You can run to win a race,
You can travel where do you like?
If you have idea you can trace.

Famous person has a name,
Only activeness is his game,
You can play if you are wise,
Occupation has no shame.

A Tempest Tossed Rage

A tempest tossed rage, a river of anger,
fueled by cruel haste, despitefully using,
losing my hope, as so it seems.

A tempest misplaced, emotions confusing,
where do I turn?, and where do I go?,
thier is no shelter, anywhere in sight.

A tempest engulfed, with a love so deep,
overcoming sins doubt, that's rendered useless,
turning to Jesus, my shelter I find.

A tempest no more, not yet out of sight,
searching inland, in a heart that's true,
following Jesus, down a path lit bright.

I Think - I know

I think that I understand
   but only JEUS can stand;

I think that I am right
  but for me HE did shed light;

I think that I do good
  but only JESUS provideth food!

I know that alone I cannot stand
  but in His Grace I do land;

I know that I am not right
  but in His love I see His light;

I know that I do no good
but in His word I find food!
