By ears and whiskers, ain't no more
A sadder thing that being in the dog house,
On a rainy day.
Make no bones about it, when momma's
Mad I'm hanging my head low.
Jo dirt has nothing on how bad this hound feels,
But honestly instincts roller, over road wisdom's,
Howling, but I'd mean it dearest sweet mommy.
With woofs and kisses can I make it all better,
It's lonely on this side of the doorway.
With you out there and me in here.
Kibbles my bits I'd give up my
Of bacon bits for a true heart felt,
That a good boy one more time.
If I could I'd bring you a beer,
Just to see that frown disappear.
Perking these two ears up to here,
Your laughter ring out at bed time.
Or a soft whispers friendly voice, speaking
Good night dear old friend.
All four paws down I won't do it again,
Cross this canine's fury little heart.
But the rain keeps falling,
As outside the sunshine is calling,
Our names to be together,
There's no tears like these rainy days.
So I'll sit patiently,
For the sun to rise again in your heart,
When ever that maybe,
Because simply put I'm loyalties pup,
Just waiting for you to bring me
On the right side of
The door once more.
To sit beside thee again.
A companion and dearest friend,
Always letting the sun to shine down
On us forever more.

Not long after The Beginning,
There were Animals and there was Man.
A great chasm lay between, that legend said
Only a Leap of Faith could span.
Animals seemed happy on their side;
For, after all, such a leap could not be done
“Make the best it,” they all said;
All, that is, but one.
There stood Dog, alone upon the brink,
The distant Man’s reflection shining in his eyes;
Something was robbing Dog of peace;
Something was urging him to try.
Compelled, he stood and stared,
Nothing could distract his gaze.
Now and then, Horse would come;
Each time, the same old words to say.
“I understand. I really do.
I admit it. I’ve thought about it too;
But it’s too far for me to jump,
It’s certainly too far for you”.
One day, as Horse spoke his words,
Cat rudely interrupted with a sneer.
“Go ahead and try. You’ll break your silly neck.
You can’t go there. Your place is here”.
More resolute now, his vigil became duty;
Still, he often wondered, “Why?”
But something deep inside kept saying,
“You must. You must. It’s do…or die”.
Then, one day, he turned and walked away.
Oh, yes, he’d need a running start.
He knew now, he had the Will;
But only a Leap of Faith could prove his Heart.
Just before he made his Leap of Faith,
Dog saw the loneliness in Man’s eyes.
“He needs a friend, someone to help
And always stand right by”.
With those unselfish thoughts,
Dog had reason, he felt whole.
And well he should, for at that very moment,
God granted Dog a Soul!
But Souls don’t come so easy,
And his leap was short that day.
If Dog was to make a Leap of Faith,
Man would have the final say.
Dog’s faith was truly tested, front paws upon the edge.
He hoped Man’s eyes hadn’t lied.
Then Man’s Heart swelled and touched his Soul.
He helped Dog up and placed him proudly at his side.
Oh, so jealous was Cat I’m told;
His eyes turned green that day.
“Oh, you are an heroic mutt;
A friend of Man, you say?
I’ll make that leap by myself.
You can bet, I’ll find a way”.
So, Dog had made the Leap of Faith.
He and Man became Best Friends.
So it shall be, for all eternity;
That is to say, until the Very End.
It’s here at last
At last the spring is really here
The weather’s warm and sweet
The doves up in the seed trays coo
As so peacefully they eat
The fountain plays a melody
As wispy clouds up in the sky
They form in me these images
As the morning passes by
Geraniums in their many hues
They shine out in the sun
The dog runs round with rubber bone
He’s having heaps of fun
The mulberry tree is so alive
She loved that winter rain
She knows as she grows her baby shoots
That the rain was not in vain.
The washing hanging on the hoist
Gives out such sweet perfume
One would think the gentle rose
Was close with tender bloom
Mauve hibiscus dances softly
Within the cooling breeze
And all of this portrayed together
It gives my mind such ease.

The bulldog said to the poodle...
"Wow!"..."What a fancy treat!"
"Today you ain't so lucky",
"I'm the king on this street!"
"Looks like you lost your way",
"Now ain't you clean and pretty!"
"You're 'bout to be a mangled mess",
"My oh my, what a pity!"
The little pooch shook with fear,
He found not the courage to talk;
The bulldog was suddenly whisked away,
As the poodle stood alone on the walk!
Nabbed by the local catcher,
The bulldog lost his might;
He could only sit in silence,
While the poodle shivered with fright!
The dog catcher said to the poodle...
"Today's your lucky day!"
"Judging by the tags on your collar",
"Home's just a block away!"
"Don't be afraid, little fella!"
"No more will you be alone!"
So off she sped with the poodle,
Returning him safely home!
The world's filled with bullies,
Whether it's wealth, power, or size;
The Lord sends His angels to protect us,
While our enemies lurk in disguise!
I am sitting in my light brown leather reclining chair
after a strenuous day at my office glad to be home
no more stress no wife just my dog Bandit at my side
I'm holding in my right hand my favorite relaxing drink
a single malt scotch on cracked ice with a twist of lemon
as I was about to close my eyes just a little past seven
counting the blessings in my life from heaven
then out of the unexpected blue everything changed
never I mean never to be the same again
or maybe I was just going insane
out of the corner of my right eye
what I saw oh God what I saw was something that really
scared the hell out of me
as the hairs on the back of my neck stood straight up
and my flesh turned cold
a man dressed all in black and red
with a haunting evil look in his coal black eyes
I believed he was from the dead
stepped right through a solid wall made of brick an stone
and stood there looking around the room
then looked right through me as though I wasn't there
my dog bandit backed up in fright and hid behind the chair
making noises like I never heard him make before
as my goose bumbled flesh turned cold as ice
I sat paralyzed could not move from my light brown leather reclining chair
then he smiled a shark like pointed toothy grin
as he placed his gaze my way
and pointed a long gray boney finger right at me
the only sound that I could hear was the beating of my own heart
as though it was going to tare my chest apart
then he spoke in a low evil raspy voice and said
I'll be awaiting you on the other side
then he turned to leave the room
the way he entered by stepping right through a solid wall
made of brick an stone
now I sit here all alone wondering and shaking
what the hell just happend to me
is there something in my life that I must change
my life do I have to rearrange
I do not want to meet that messenger from hell on the other side
this is not a tale I tell
for you may think I'm crazy as hell
but I believe in what I saw
I was visited by a messenger from hell
if there is a lesson to be learned from my story
look into your life and change what will make it right
to travel into the light
to heaven not hell
when your time ends upon this earth
Life can bring many difficult situations!
Often, there’s really no explanation!
No matter how smart or how wise,
Things can take us totally by surprise!
We can often find our life off course.
Many times, being driven by a “dark force.”
I know that it’s hard to know what to do.
Especially with what you
may be going through!
I can’t think of all the right words to say…
To help you make it through another day!
But there’s someone, I can ask you to turn to!
He loves and is most concerned about you!
His name is Jesus! The almighty God is he!
He’s committed to you now! And for eternity!
He’s the one that you can trust and lean on!
And is someone that you can
certainly depend on!
Won’t you give him an opportunity to help you?
He reaches out his hand! Because he loves you!
He is the source with an eternal heavenly treasure!
He can completely fill you!
The decision is yours! A choice to be made!
There’s nothing for Jesus what’s worth the “trade!”
He’s everything that any of us can ever think of!
And can do more for you! Than you ever dreamed of!
He’s the alpha and omega! The beginning and the end!
Won’t you allow him to be your
savior and friend???

You're a voyeur at best!
Your vampiric heart beats out of your chest
Ready to consume the final climax
I know who you are - when the lyrics fail to resemble
Letting your poison drip straight from your lips
Portraying, entertaining the image of sex's delusion
You know only rape - manifestation of hate
Lack of the fruit of the beauty of a human mind
Depths you'll never penetrate!
She was only a doll - type of a lost father's adore
Impaled into a desperate whore
Shamefully out of broken safety's choice
She bore embryogenesis of morose
May your rusty blades caress as they please
So confront the masses with the halt of embryogenesis
Let the worship of machines be
Leg them construct us cell to cell
Nature's just in the way
Of our race of perfectly engineered machines!
The burden of conception
Surrenders to the will of
The New God
My two dogs are having a cow
Because of all the firework noises that are going on
They are barking their heads off
I think I am going to have to put some earplugs on them
They are looking at me with their heads cocked to one side
As if asking me
Well, Fifi and Napoleon
It’s your welcoming pop to test your hearing
To make sure you are up for the job
Which is protecting me, you hear?
They wouldn’t let up
They are going to be barking another day
When a love one passes away, along with the loved ones, pets are affected.
If a family member doesn’t adopt them they are put in shelters, alone and
Dogs and cats “pets” grieve for their masters, and the love they had dies also.
They are impounded hoping to be adopted, may they have love for others, we
A personal friend died six weeks ago, the pets he left behind were taken to the
It was sad they lost their Dad “staring” looking at the door; their hurt was
Watching, observing them made me sad as we, the Wife and I could not take
We have three kittens of our own, so just thinking of what they were going
through, adoption for them pretty slim.
The caretaker didn’t want the animals, without thought he had the oldest put
His attitude, animals didn’t fit his style, he didn’t want them at all or around.
Sadly the death of our friend, in a way was a death sentence for them.
Wishing we could do something, we watch them go to the shelter hopefully
they’ll be taken in.
It is sad some people don’t take the animals feelings into account.
They don’t act the same when the master doesn’t come home; their feelings
to some don’t count.
We, the Wife and I, feel so bad but we have a family of three,
So we pray a family will adopt them, to love and care for them make a part of
Our friend is gone and how he loved them all!
He cared, played, love them, watching as they had a ball.
Now you can see sadness in these felines they are so lost,
A family I’m sure will adopt them, and care for them no matter the cost.
Remember animals in a sense are family too.
They have feelings like me, like you.
So when you adopt, love is all they need.
God has blessed them; hopefully a family will save them in life as they proceed.
A low man is due...
My eyes seek reality,
My fingers feel for faith.
Touch clean with a dirty hand,
I touch the clean to the waste.
I fall cause I let go,
The net below has rot away.
And I cry to the alleyway,
Confess all to the rain.
But I lie straight to the mirror,
The one I've broken to match my face.
The fire is so warm,
But nowhere safe from the storm.
And I can't bear to see,
What I've let me be.
So wicked and worn.
So as I write to you,
Of what is done and to do.
Maybe you'll understand,
I won't cry for this man.
Cause low man is due.
So low the sky is all I see,
All I want from you is forgive me.
My eyes seek reality,
And my fingers seek my veins.
There's a dog at your back step,
He must come in from the rain.
But you bring that poor dog in from the rain,
Though he just wants right back out again.
So my fingers feel for faith,
And my eyes seek reality.
So as I write to you,
Of what is done and to do.
Maybe you'll understand,
I won't cry for this man.
Cause low man is due.
It was a dark and stormy night
The dog on the doghouse said
But over in the pumpkin patch
A young lad shakes his head
He had sat the whole night through
Just to see the Great Pumpkin rise
Though again this year, he did not appear
His faith he did not compromise
For he felt in his heart of hearts
The Great Pumpkin would one day appear
And if not on this Halloween
Then maybe this time next year
So what if the others poke fun of him
And laugh at him behind his back
For he has a faith that he sticks to
And their laughter’s a worthless attack
And the time that he spent waiting
To him – neither stormy nor dark
For he saw the light and drew comfort
From the promise of this patriarch
The lesson that we all should get here
If you give up and your faith is dead
It will be a dark and stormy night
Like the dog on the doghouse said
My dog is a scientist
And thought I never see
I think he has a lab set up
Right underneath me
I sometimes see him reading
The paper on the floor
Mums says it’s all in my head
But I never can ignore
At night I hear noises
And see lights from below
He’s making something special
I really want to know
Then one day I heard a noise
Coming from outside
It was giant space ship
And my dog was there inside
He didn’t see me watching
But I don’t think that he thought
That anyone was watching
Or that he would get caught
The next morning I woke up
Lying in my bed
Had I been dreaming
Was it all in my head?
And then I saw the clue
That would give him away
His reading glasses on his head
As he slept that day
I gently woke him up
And showed the glasses there
He looked a little startled
I told him I didn’t care
He told me all dogs are scientists
And live on earth in disguise
And work on secret projects
As dogs are very wise
So next time look at your dog
Take a closer look
For it probably is a scientist
Reading that mechanical book!
I do not know?
Here I sit,
My faithful dog and I in a tight little knit
We watch the rain fall,
The wind howling it's call,
With each crack of thunder my dog quivers with fear
I hold her close and wait for the sky to clear.
Then I lay back on my bed,
Thinking of the raining drops of blood that Christ Shed.
No one could understand his pain
That day that he was slain
He gave up all
so that man would not fall
We owe him a thanks for what He's done,
He sent his only begotten son.
The glorious Angels will sing their tune,
The shining gold trumpets will sound
And we will know the saints are found.
Through the dead and living Christ will comb
To find those He will take home.
Upon the falling leaf
There exists a little ant
Falling slowly to the earth
Held within His hand
Out, in a darkened jungle
From a leopard, lemur got away
Helped up to a higher branch
To live at least another day
Somewhere, in a desert
A prairie dog and a snake
The dog had escaped the danger
No life, for serpent to take
Think for just a moment
As to how they got away
There must be someone watching
And helping them on their way.
In life, there is a presence,
Though at times, remains unseen
Isn’t it nice when this presence
