Ribcage

Split apart your ribcage,
Open up the corridor, and let me come in
Uneasiness instantly strikes through me
Let me sway away...
Let me flutter away...
Like a butterfly out of its cocoon
I'm trapped!Let me depart

Split apart your ribcage,
Unwrap me, let me go!
Believe me...reflect on me
Let me sway away...flutter away
Let us both seek the sun,
So we can grow together once more

Beer Pong Balls

-Sing along to Jingle Bells-

Beer pong balls! Beer pong balls!
Landing in my cup.
The more you sink, the more I drink.
It's Christmas, let's get drunk!

Heeeeeyyyy!

Beer pong balls! Beer pong balls!
Landing in my cup.
The more you make, the more I take.
It's Christmas, lets get drunk!

Drinking Michelobe... Sipping on some Jack...
We just made two cups... Give us the balls back!
Ha. Ha. Ha.
Guys can finger cups... Girls know they can blow...
I'm hall of fame, In this game, cause I drink like a pro

OOOOhh!

Beer pong balls! Beer pong balls!
Landing in my cup.
The more you sink, the more I drink.
It's Christmas, let's get drunk!

Heeeeeyyyy!

Beer pong balls! Beer pong balls!
Landing in my cup.
The more you make, the more I take.
It's Christmas, lets get drunk!

A day or two ago... Drinking Miller Light...
I had won eight games, and then got in a fight...
Ouch! Ouch! Ouch!
We ran out of beer... Had to get some more...
If I'm alive, then I can drive, let's all go to the store!

OOOOhh!

Beer pong balls! Beer pong balls!
Landing in my cup.
The more you sink, the more I drink.
It's Christmas, let's get drunk!

Heeeeeyyyy!

Beer pong balls! Beer pong balls!
Landing in my cup.
The more you make, the more I take.
It's Christmas, lets get drunk!

Moments In Time

The sweetest sounds of burning trees
A gentle stroking in the breeze
The calm has lasted past the storm
Cloudy visions, Satan’s roar
Too many sights have passed my way
A time found only in the haze
The softest screams are running bare
My aching bones creak as I stare

You walk a distance towards me
The fall’s eternal, can’t you see?
I’m a memory in your heart
I whisper to you in the dark

The battle’s started at the end
No one is coming to repent
The sinners grab their wine from prey
No judgment calling here to stay
The sport is reckless to be told
The one is laughing at his souls
It falters nowhere to be sure
The power grows forevermore
Like a spirit in the wind
I have no say in where you’ve been
But cross the line to come to me
And pay the price for ecstasy

You walk a distance towards me
The fall’s eternal, can’t you see?
I’m a memory in your heart
I whisper to you in the dark.

I'm Your King

A burst of white light gamma rays, overbearing a flash of brilliance burns through to my soul everything is like hell the world starts to melt in the blink of an eye just the cold blackness of night I don't care if I am not again what I once was, for at this moment I am greater now than ever before I took the path between teetering, tight roping walking right up to my right divined in my unholy state I thought I told you I am your king still you sit there, hesitating I know you hate me what does that mean? I hate just about everything still I'm chosen I did not wish before now bow down to me refuse me no more for I shall always be your demon until you accept me as your King. I don't even know you though you say we used to be best of friends, you and me the day you ditched me I remember now exactly how it played out back when we were just tiny things even back then I still was King you thought me stupid just a ruse I would laugh inside, you see? not one of you single, mean people ever even knew me in a world, mostly seen to me that is why only I can be your true King and bring forth a new source of light everlasting. As two worlds collide slowly aligned one wrapped in shadows one bathed in white evils swirling in the clouds above I'll always be the king you love to hate or despise as in your blood I thought I told you, I am the one I am the way, the way out shall be shown breathe in my spirit as it carries you away breathe in my faith it shall carry your empty space and deposit you gently on a cloud just enough higher than you've ever dreamed of for I am king now, and your in my hell your in my imagination, I'll just never tell you'll feel as though dreaming, you'll feel now if you try and see you were always found the most shared in the light cast upon me the last bright star in heaven. Denounce my name, if you may One year later, still not afraid A black sheep, a darkened spade That's just life, I'm not right I'm in the wrong, follow along Like a piper, I'll pitch a song Mesmerized, the weak wills sing I thought he told you, he's still our king.

The True Love of a Man

When I was just a little girl, I dreamed I’d meet a knight. He’d proudly wear his shining armor, and guard me day and night. I kept on dreaming half my life and searched as I grew. Until I found my knight one day, I found my knight in you! Before our paths crossed that day, my struggles had been great. But when I laid my eyes upon you, I thought it must be fate. You gently got to know me and embraced me as a friend. And as our friendship grew in time, we knew it wouldn’t end. As our lives were set in motion, we climbed mountains and sailed seas. And as we’ve shared our lives together, we’ve blended with such ease. Our friendship grew as years passed by into such an enduring love. This thing we have together now was blessed from God above! I know we both have said it. We feel it in our souls. We’ve devoted our lives to each other, and together we’ll grow old. The love we share is very rare, and should be held with high esteem. For some may only find this kind, only in their dreams. This is what God planned for us, to live here on this land. To be the best we both can be, walking through it hand in hand. Even when our roads seem rough, we must have a faith that lasts. We’ll smile as we share many today’s, and reflect gladly on our past. I hope I’ve touched your life my love, as much as you’ve touched mine. For this is the love I’ve always dreamed of, a love both gentle and kind. I believe we meet our “soul mate” only once in our lives. This blessing from God has come to us, I’m proud to be your wife. With all this said my poem will end. A poem for my love, who is also my friend! I want to thank you with all that I am, For showing me Darling, the true love of a man!
With all my love, Michelle Merry Christmas – December 2006©

The Shadow with Scizophrenia

I walked upon an empty step,
Where a shadowed body was kept.
The shadow was beat,
Turning as cold as winter sleet.

It had bright blue eyes,
That extended all through the skies.
The shadow was nine,
Living to be blind.

I walked to the figure,
As it would evilly linger.
People would laugh at it,
As it snarled and bit.

The shadow diagnosed with
schizophrenia,
Beating itself, the others, as if a
mania.
No one could reach out,
No one gave it water, as it was in a
drought.

I was determined to bring its colors,
Be the one to treat it like no other.
The shadow hated me,
Told me Hell is where I should be.

Not giving in,
Not creating one other sin.
I drew it pictures, wrote it letters,
Tried to blossom its feathers.

Then the day came,
When there had to be an end to the
game.
Not wanting to leave,
Not wanting the devil to its thieve.

As I was bout to walk through the
door,
The shadow came upon me, on the
open floor.
Held out his arms,
As I smiled and lowered his alarms.

The shadow had a name,
Brought about with little shame.
The shadow was a boy,
Played with by the devil as if a toy.

I played with fire,
Burning loosely like a run away tire.
But he finally knew I was there,
Someone who was willing to care.

He Loved You

He loved you too, you know
Loved you like his very own
In away you were
You came into his life as my friend
Through the years you grew to be my brother in arms
Along the way you became the son he never had

He loved you as a friend
He loved you even more as a son
A son he never had
When things began to spiral out of control
You stayed when so many others ran away
You helped when I couldn’t

You meant a great deal to him
You never looked at him differently
Nor did you treat him differently
You stood by his side
When he fell, you stood by his side and mine
You were willing to help me fight his battle for him
You were there from the beginning
You were there until the bitter end
Always remember my friend, my brother
He loved you more than you’ll ever know

RUNAWAY TRAIN

    RUNAWAY TRAIN

A runaway train a life full of pain
Running avoiding the hurt
Getting away with lies, dancing in the rain
Treating everyone like dirt
Call me insane
I am my on freak on my runaway train

Running like the gingerbread man
Running as fast as I can
Catch me now if you can
Abandoning every life plan
Removing the ones in my life I cannot stand
Finding myself in Rome
How the Hell did i end up in another land
Take me French men by the hand
Sent me back with the runaway brand

Trust me it is no joy to feel like a toy
Runaway train has been my only joy
Leaving everything behind
Meting myself as a homeless in every cargo
Runaway train in my on matchbox
Runaway train lighting up the flames
Runaway train my life full of speed
Running avoiding my hearts need
Tracking me down and you'll find me in my own
( Soul Asylum) lost in a ( Runaway Train)

********A FUN SPROUT
My runaway train has ended
, everyone joined, jumped in my cargo
My runaway train all the supers mended
Waiting on them who joined my Wells Fargo
Thank you everyone for closing the contest,
In less than 24 hrs. Did not expect that.
Being my first contest and all,
I looked for one thing i needed to see.
A different point of view Of what I wrote above

OoOoH! Here's one to snatch!
Okay...where's the chocolate chips?
Kraving too many of these treats
I want some now! But...I might get beeefy...
Every bite is mouthwatering, soft and crisp

PEANUT BUTTER AND JELLY

It's America’s favorite sandwich spread,
No doubt,
When you ask any kid or adult, what
They would like in there lunch box.
Natural response good old fashioned P.B.
And J.
White bread, wheat, whole grain,
It really doesn't matter as long as
 It's creamy or chunky style.
Jiffy to general label just put that
On the table and watch them smile.
Forget about cutting off the crust,
Or any of that fancy stuff.
Just keep your fingers out of the way,
When it comes to feeding a bunch of
Hunger kids just stand clear
Until the inner hunger beast is satisfied.
Then mom can bring in her
Essential tools for clean up detail.
It's been prepared so many ways,
Toasted, fried or even baked,
 Assorted mixtures, layered textures
Some people even put bananas
Or mayo with it.
Myself call it a personal choice,
I like it regular please no extras.
America’s favorite sandwich it's
Stood the test of time.
By the way it's on my shopping list
 Again Peanut Butter and Jelly,
I wonder why?

he is leaving home

In great respect of the band I grew up listening to
as sure as Mom passed down Saturday Chores
for I had been chosen to scrub bathroom floors `

Yet a familiar sound would bring me to keep scrubbing
The red album, The blue album , The White album
Then .. Abbey Road , always remembering the sad look on
Ringo's face , something hard to understand underneath~

I get it now, what you were saying all those years ago ,
the many sad lonely tears , secret tears , secret fears
For Maxwell's Hammer was a real one . It wanted silence

Going back ..remembering when John Lennon died
I was in Arkansas saddened with the world .
Then seeing his face saying " Drag isn't it "
No .. this was not my hero in music and song .

he was a stand in hired William , he filled his shoes
bringing diversity to create so much beautiful music from loss

One left standing , alone;; grief struck on back cover ~
The other identity hidden, tried to be part of ..coming together

                            his world of secrets
He to suffers today , in fear , Faul~

Too many years gone by .let us tell the Truth. Let us be free
The very sad long and winding Road ~
Let us Bury our real Paul.

No more " Mystery tour "
                             No more fear
Let him be in peace ~

The Rising Red sun

Inspirational poem.. Rising Golden red sun all its way..dedicated to all
                               of you guys..wrote by Mrs.Madhavi.Suyog.Pagare

                                          The Rising Red sun

As like the charming moon and luminous star fades away.
It promises to send the dynamite sun shining in the sky.
Due to which oceano pearl glitters all the day.
Praying god for the happiness in all our way.

The morning sagas made me understand, Me and my vivacious life.
But When I look back and pick up the souvenir of my childhood. Its just nostalgic. Feel like to go back to the teenage. The sustained pain is the only option left that I can’t get those days of my innocence back.
All I could make up my mind and just say, move on. Just move on.

Ray of hope chimed my heart.
Because god gifted me Something and added in my cart.
Provided me and my sincerity towards work can’t depart.
From the very day uplifted to give a quick start.

The moment I realized the magnetising power of the sun.
Felt trust on it and renovated my life again by attenuating my pains.
Rest all I expect peace my thee.
Left with the ray of hope. Bless us MY god, My lord !!!!!

Ridiculous Me

Watch this scene with both eyes and try not to blink C: -->

I stood there... silently
Like a predator near prey
I sneak behind YOU

You weren't even aware of it!! Ha-ha!

I made YOU jump hIgH
Like a startled hare
I chuckle and smile

You know that mischievous smile of mine?

Your reaction was
PRICELESS - you were so upset
But YOU forgave me

Well...I'm flattered. . .

We laugh'd together (just like the good times)
In a chorus - our volume
Picked up extreme sound

Believe me - I could hear our laughter from a mile away!

But I'm glad I did
My best to make you giggle

Ridiculous me...
Wouldn't you agree?

DISTURBED CREATURE- Am I

A poem wrote by me, based on Person who is a deserving icon but still struggling hard with his career life and addressed as disturbed creature.

DISTURBED CREATURE--> Am I ??       BY Mrs.Madhavi Suyog Pagare

Am I so insane, Am I so mad,
Dramatic mood of mine is so die hard.
Destroyed my peace, Shattering my dreams,
People call me as disturbed creature.
As like mounting the pain, attenuating the drain!!

Digesting my feelings lying inside me,
Strangely nobody cared, call me sick.
Teasing me lavishly and my heart is pricked,
Hurted me like hell when addressed me as stupid.
As like showering rain, missing on the lane!!

Time lapse in journey of life,
Can hamper anybody on its path.
When I see innate reflex of mine,
I always use to brightly shine.
Though possessing every job attributes of mine,
I never thought the authorities will ditch and hamper my career line.
Falsely acting bloody swine, making my image as fade as wine.
As like affecting harmonious divine, my soul was, as is transparently pristine!!

Destroying me and testing my patience, Never wanna give up.
Transformed deviations, wanna rightly screw up.
I wanna raise up, I wanna shake up.
I wanna wake up, Tranquilize my mind.
Unzip the professional life compressed by the culprits.
Wanna explore myself, driving the motivated heights of journey.
Lastly waiting for the optimistic opportunity.
Cuffing the suspect ,I wanna rejoice by my pattern of life!!

Little boy

This small for his age little boy on his first day of school, with his little dinosaur backpack and new blue jeans and white t shirt. Mama said “Be sure to be careful to not to stain your shirt, especially at lunch cause I know how much you love your ketchup.” He stands with his head towards the ground letting his deep red hair cover his freckled face because he knows a whole new world is at his feet, the first day of many more first days to come for the next 13 years of his school life. He looks out among the many faces in the large, peeling blue paint room and his stomach twists into various size knots. He holds his lunch tray of pizza and milk with shaky hands, almost drops it twice just standing there. The roar of all the students and staff echo off the walls, the security with their walkies and the kids laughing horribly loud make his nerves even more uneasy. He stands slightly slouched and bites on his lower lip, somethings hes done since infancy when he was feeling over whelmed. He doesn't know what to do, or what he is allowed to do. Maybe go out to the play ground and hide in the big yellow tunnel slide or even in a bathroom stale till class started. One side of the cafeteria had larger children, the 5th graders, and the sizes of them decreased as you moved your sight to the right of the room. There was no order to where you had to sit, it was just every grade sort of stayed with each other, the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th graders all grouped together, maybe they were afraid to venture out of their safe zones. After 5th grade you go to the bigger school, they call it middle school which is not the scariest cause after that you have high school and everyone says its a nightmare. He looks down at his feet and knows he looks like a fool just standing there for how ever long he has been, which was much to long. He didn't see any of his classmates, maybe there was a special spot just for his grade somewhere that will accept him with open arms . Even if he did he didn't know any of their names and none of them seemed to care for his. They wouldn't play with him at recess or be his partner in gym, nobody even wanted to sit by him at carpet time. They all gave
him the cold shoulder, you could see the sadness on his face every time you had to have a partner for a activity. As if he was about to burst out in heavy tears, his face would get red and he would hold his tummy as if cringing in pain. He is a coward and returns to the class room to eat his now cold food with the teacher and be forever known as the teachers pet, all because the lack of self confidence in that small child in that small moment in time, in the ocean of seats in the room with the peeling paint.

Coming From Where I'm From

Coming from where I’m from
By Nate Spears
Published 2013 in “Death OF A Rose” By Nate Spears

Coming from where I’m from
Every day is a battle to survive
War is in session
Right before our eyes

Each day we battle lessons
Just to be in the running for blessings
Coming from where I’m from
We move rapidly on missions

The dead is alive with every walk of the lifeless
Limited income withholds wealth
The living is near death
Spirits are stripped of guilt

Coming from where I’m from
Deprived wealth
Creates bad health
In occurrence to this
Good feelings are killed

The worst gets exposed
As times get worse
Financial situations become a disaster
No man on earth can rehearse

The world is broken
Hunger brings harm
Coming from where I’m from
Dictatorship is not fond

The environment brings the need to shoot
These activities loosens the roots
We’re grounded by values as thin as a pin
We lose ourselves at falling rates like bowling pens

No free passes
Prisons filled in masses
Separated by classes
Coming from where I’m from.

Scent of Paddy Flower

Scent Of Paddy Flower

                                   By Goutam Hazra

           1
Reminiscence

My father told me
first time
I was just a boy then,
“Follow the scent of paddy flower
move with the wind it carries,
surely you will go to heaven.”

I remember
he would catch
fistful of wind
bring near to my face
and wonder,
“Isn’t it godly!”

Magically, opened his hand
but I never felt
what scent he meant.

             2
Days of kind rain

“Son, see the misty wind
rushing all over the paddy field
comes every year
to drink the scent of paddy flower.”

Mere as a boy
I could see only
tides of a green plane
touching my little finger
and racing far… too far.
I would ask
“Where have they gone?”
Smiled my father
and said
“Did not you listen,
they are going to heaven,
call the goddess then,
‘come goddess dear’
we all are ready with paddy flower.”

Curious was my face,
“Papa, then?”

“Goddess will arrive smiling
her feet will be here
there
everywhere.
Seeing a pot in her hand
all those paddy flowers
delighted, will open their mouth more wider
and life will be poured…”

“Where these flowers come from?”

Remained my father smiling
speaking all his mind
looking high at sky
asked me to see there
spoke he again.

“Rain, rain, kind monsoon rain
on the first day of its shower
kind rain would ask me to come here
with bagful of paddy seeds,
‘let seeds be spread all over,
let its eternal relation with soil
be the fertilizer’
when all said is done
waiting rain
starts showering its kind
make visible hiding life in the abyss of seed.
Happy wind changes color
being green all around
waits for the day
when the wind would smell the scent of paddy flower.”

Days passed by,
kind rain was still in waiting
sometimes hidden beyond horizon
or simply making sun blind with its smoky face
and whenever wind said,
‘Dry I’m now’
quenched the thirst.

Someday wind played naughty with sun
asked kind rain to make it misty
and with brushes of sun rays
painted a rainbow on the face of east sky.

Wait was over
green field blossomed with flowers
and wind said,
“Fill in my heart
with scent of flower
I shall bring life…”

Happy was my father’s voice
“Rain, rain, kind monsoon rain
said so
green wind brining life
did so
scent of paddy flower
is made so.
Bare footed be here
print your soul
in the dust of this soil
kind rain will come
green wind being there
life will be yours
beautiful
simple
with the scent of paddy flower.”

             3
Cruel entropy

How old was I then
nine or ten
my father looked up
up to the sky
again and again
for a month long
only to see
change of sky’s color
from the color of a summer day to a long humid night.
Dry wind cried at last
over my father’s sweating body
“Rain, rain O kind rain, where have you gone.”

One day sudden
kind rain came again.
Cried to my father
“Why no green wind came this year
from ocean
to bring me here.
Desert wind why
dry my breath
seeds you have sown
how could I then
enliven with my rain.”

Question
many question
my father had asked the rain.

Short-lived, hurried rain could spell its last breath,
“I am not that rain
as was your friend,
I am the curse of dying forest
I am the ghost of all pollution
I am born out of acid weather…”

Who knew, it left for where?

My father cried
As kind rain left him alone
hiding in a dry wind’s bone.

My father was still
going every morning
asking the soil
in vain
if soil could alone
make the paddy flowers to be born.

Year passed by,
came back the time,
for green wind to bring kind rain.

Rain came one day.

But why
as a cloudburst
treacherous
roaring always
pouring unwanted
like an unkind monster
flooded misery
in the life of a simple farmer?

            4
Relinquishment

Dumb remained my father
for days together
sad was his voice at last,
“Run away, son, run away from here,
sky rain wind
river village land;
thread of this garland
who cuts it
go, stop now there hand.”

Draught and flood,
uncertainty of life
changed my mind
as of a farmer’s son.
Books, studies and education
reasons, truth and compassion
might have had fulfilled my father’s mission.

But…
Does not this civilization
converts us
as the products to do more production.
Run, run and run
run ahead of time
let be it, at the cost of inhaling killer tension,
stress taking over your life.
Insomnia, cholesterol or cynicism
is our success’s companion?
‘A’ is shaped as ‘B’
and ‘B’ is sold as ‘C’.
Modification
innovation
sophistication
but I found the basic
what it remain
as life’s supreme conviction
‘simply a fist full of paddy
and its grain’.

             5
Scent of life

So here, I am again
standing in front of this green plane
searching for the shadow of my father.
Green wind surrounds my existence
I can see the dance of those bunches.
My mind whispers to my ear
echoes those words of my father,
“Bare footed be here
print your soul
in the dust of this soil
rain will come
green wind being there
life will be yours
beautiful
simple
with the scent of paddy flower.”

I never felt so,
what I smell now
is the scent of paddy flower.

My Future Generation

I can act insane
But DO NOT
Make me feel worthless

I belong in God’s family
He will bless my future generation

Don’t punish me for
Being myself –
Don’t envy my glee

I can act like an
Adult, but I’d
Prefer to have joy…

Not stress…
That piles upon us in our
Everyday lives

Being childlike is

A rare beauty –

No one prizes it…

No one came across it…

In this lifetime…

I can laugh all day
I can make you smile
If you’d accept my
Childlike dreams of mine
Don’t treat me like a sick swine

Renew my young heart
Give me the ability
To kill the old man…

I have my place in God’s family
He’ll be adored and glorified
We’ll exchange prayers and hugs
By my future generation

I beg of you –
Don’t kill my childlike mentality
I’ll behave myself…
I’m positively sure that I’ll make you happy

I’ll still have pieces of a child in me

And pass it on to my future generation…

What they didn't tell her about Fairy tales

They told me from the time I was two
“One day prince charming is coming for you!”

They made me read these inspiring fairy tales
About mermaids, evil step mothers and
servants whose childhoods were unfair,

They told me that even if I was troubled and had to put up with a lot,
That someday my adversaries would have to surrender
to me and scrub my pots,

They told me I wasn’t alone; animals would be my friend
So I tried that, then one night they bit me,
I suffered another tragic end

They said to always be kind-hearted that’s what all man want,
When I got into high school I found out no one wanted to talk to the fat girl in the corner who ate chocolate glazed croissants

They told me to find seven dwarfs, a crew of little people
My school only had four of them
Their names were; scuba, geek freak, muffin top and meatball

In eleventh grade they said, "ask God for a fairy godmother to get a dress for the prom"
I went to a Catholic Church, got one for 75 cents,
with red stripes and one missing arm

They said after graduation the wise thing to do would be to go to college
and Not rush into getting married
So I got knocked up my senior year by the school janitor,
His name is "Prince Larry!"

I dropped out a month before school ended and you’ll never guess where I reside
I am currently employed doing Disney parties, where I get to dress up as all the great characters who told me those fabulous lies.

Pokemon Team

Ignored by many you are Aipom,
Your talent I did see,
Your ability to replicate protects my team and poison you may inflict,
Pass the torch to my beautiful bug, let her perform her dance,
Her speed shall she also increase and guard our team as well,
The torch moves yet again to you my dragon,
Your power is matchless,
If by luck you are removed,
My champ shall then arise to build himself to remove all foes,
Beware of the telepath that follows,
For his mind knows no end,
Finally, my almost immobile giant which packs power in both mind and wave.

Story of Afghanistan

Story of Afghanistan

The barren land of my birthplace
Green at times but screening a rocky face
Known for thousands of years for its warrior race
Let me tell you the truth,
No one really wanted this “space”.

Up until two lions began prying around
Initially, just fooling around
Afterwards, casting off their cannon sound
Resembling the 6th night of an infant’s fête
Building their castles, and so began the burial grounds.

The lions pledged to crush the other
With a master plan
Dividing the blood brothers
Such was the instruction of the queen mother
As the clans clashed and killed one another.
The chiefs were swallowed by the promise of gold
The mullahs were swapped for the hollow soul
The seniors by the fire recounted and foretold
The purpose for the lion’s vehemence
This story definitely in time will unfold.
The old grew timeworn
Waiting for their young ones to return home
The teenagers free born
Screamed out of their mosques’ domes
Come and join us in this struggle
Faced with the crusaders of the Church of Rome,
But little did they know,
No one will return but the maimed men to a funeral home.

The sturdier lion won the combat
But what has become of my Afghanistan
The wolf in a sheep’s disguise
Has spoiled my jade paradise
My heart denies it but I may have bombed my youthful chums,
This is now a global land-dwelling for bums and slums!
The lion wishes to be unveiled this time
So he promises to take the last dime
After all it pays to cooperate in war crimes!
He roars in a deafening cry
I bring Democracy to this land
With loads of cash in one hand
A whip in the back hand--forgetting the long years of perfidy
I now declare and demand
This is the new Promised Land.
A woman of this realm is exposed with a promise
She is liberated by democracy
Famous on national publications like the story of Pocahontas
She’s affirmed independent and agreed to arise out of the darkness
As the saga is read to the United States Congress
She exhales
And anticipates the lion’s hunger
Waiting for the day when she will be veiled, unveiled, and then veiled again
Not by ordinary men
But by inscription of law.
Thank you for sealing the decree!

So I am Here

Ok so now that I am here, what do I do? Do I keep going. Do I fly around. Am I sure I am here. Everything is still the same except that, this, and maybe a little bit of that too but I am sure that is normal with life though. So I am searching for the question to the answer of my first question. Yes I am. So now normalities. What is normal? Blue is normal to us under a bright light, green shines better. Which one is real? Choose one. Let us say both. Both is not an option. Let us opt out. Done. Now if we can opt out of the question, why have'nt you?

Duck Side Story

You have your North side ducks,
And you have your south side ducks.
Neither the twain shall meet.
For each one had his nose in the air.
They simply would not do the greet.

So as it happens they would dance with flair in the middle of the pond.
Always trying to out do the other side…Yes, let’s call it ‘Stomp The Pond’
Wings in motion lifting them up, to stomp the waters with their feet
Acrobatics and splashing around… Man it looked so neat.

So Stella, one of the South Side Ducks fell in love with her North side Pete.
But she couldn’t cross the middle of the pond, with so much action in the way.
Fussing, blustering, and carryings on were the name of the day.

But you know, there’s always one strange duck, and that’s the one who built a bridge.
Now all the others could come across or watch the stomp from the middle of the id.
My moral, I say to you young ones… is as appealing as stomping can be…
The world works better when brought together…
By the builders of a bridge.

Come As You Are

At one point in my life i was an artist
I used to paint and draw
Covering a piece of paper
In beautiful colors
And my art told a story
The sort of story you couldn't talk about
I used to go to school every day
Showing up late
Wasn't something I'd do
But i dropped out
Leaving my education behind
I played the bass guitar
In a band called
The Nocturnal
My fingers ran against that bass
Pure magic
The sound of the gods
Setting out to destroy the world
Pure Punk straight from Seattle
At one point i was clean
Sober and pure like a new born baby
Falling further into
What you now call
"disapointment"
Screwing up my veins
with every shot of herion
Killing my brain cells
With every joint i smoked
Clogging up my nose
With every pill you could have known
I used to write lyrics
About my life
My childhood
I used to write journals
The ones you read in the book
that was published of me
I got up on that stage every night
As i was
Nothing fake
Nothing glamourous
Only a few scars
One shot of heroin
Come as you are
The words only speak for
Themselves

My Most Memorable Christmas Gift

It was many years ago that I sat there on the floor
With Aunt Allie and my cousins, we knew what was in store.
The clan was gathered there around the Christmas tree
Just eagerly awaiting their Christmas gifts to see.

There was Billy Joe and Grady Earl and pretty Bonnie Lou
I can’t remember Martha – She might have been there too.
All these kids, aged six to nine, were very close to me
And when you saw just one of us you’d see two or three.

Now, Christmas gifts at my house were opened Christmas eve
But presents in aunt Allie’s home, were saved ‘til morning, don’t you see.
I’d had my Christmas presents; there were quite a lot.
So I’d gone on down to Auntie’s to see what they all got.

They took turns opening their gifts – around the room they’d go.
The first one up was Bonnie Lou – ladies first, you know
Bonnie gave a gleeful shout and raised her present high,
Just what she’d wanted for so long -- a portable hi-fi.

Grady Earl was next to see what Santa had in store,
He left cousin Grady skates that he’d been savin’ for.
Billy Joe was anxious to see if it were true
That if you had not been real good, it’s switches there for you.

Well, Billy didn’t have to wait too long to find what was in store
A box as big as China was coming through the door.
Now generally big boxes meant something really good
And when they opened up this box, a new bicycle stood.

All this Christmas giving went on an hour or so
When people began watchin’ me and started talkin’ low.
They tried to look so normal as they continued on
When I heard one kid whisper, “There’s nothin’ here for John.”

I’d opened presents earlier and I thought that they all knew
I was only there to witness, not to gather me a few.
It was not long, I’d say; just a minute, maybe two --
Someone handed me a package, saying, “John, this is for you.”

Something wrapped in tissue was now held in my hand –
I really tried to protest – They didn’t understand.
Their love for me was genuine and, me? – I felt the same.
They were somehow embarrassed that no gift bore my name.

I pulled away the ribbon from the tissue they’d prepared --
I know their love was all wrapped up in what was lying there.
At first it was puzzling as I looked into their faces,
For lying there was a brand-new pair of simple shoelaces.

Though I didn’t understand it on that day so long ago
The meaning of the laces continues to grow and grow.
Innocence was present then and few will now recall --
Young minds can seldom comprehend the meaning of it all.

Sweet memories of Christmas past now fill the summer air
As I stand here looking down at the marker lying there.
Bill and all the other kids have now all gone away,
But the meaning of the shoestrings comforts me today.

Inevitable Bear

Oh lonely Inevitable Bear,
Padding claws, death in white
Sorrow in recurring nightmare
Instinct’s test; fight or flight?

Camouflage against the fence,
A challenge; my subconscious fear
Ominous slowly moving silence,
“Let me in, there’s a bear out here!”

Your love pricks me like a rose each thorn grows but no one knows Your so full of
it as it shows so carry on now go on, go. I'm fed up with the phony and i'm
through with the tears, you couldn't pay me all your money to make up for those
years. Someone help me I feel faint how could I think he was such a saint and
worst of all I let me fall into a spiral down below. A magic called love carried
by the dove of someone I use to know.

The Red Symphony

A self-written poem begun in Christmas Time,
While it tasting the soup and looking for rhyme.
In the kitchen, neighbor with the quiet tomato paste,
The sorcerer's apprentice, a poet pretty well placed
Near Soups (ciorbe) with characteristic sour taste
With luminous face and much grace added the rest:
As he was sipping and tasting from raw and cooked.
His group had a passionate look at what was booked
For the dinner: These might be meat and vegetable soups.

They had to choose till the coming of the helping troops
For the pig`s sacrifice rite, old mixture of joy and grief
Under the hot and long debrief of the pleasant smell-thief
Tripe soup (ciorba de burta) hard prepared from beef,
And calf foot soup (ciorba de vitel), with green-gold leaf
Pickled soup (supa de moare) with pork and big rice;
But use the dice to decide between spice and allspice.

From the slaughtered pig the village` families prepare:
Carnati - sausages kept in special aromatic smoke
Of wet fir and oak burned at small fire as enjoyed by folk;
Caltabos - sausages made with liver sprinkled with beers;
Toba and piftie - dishes using pig's feet, head and ears
Suspended in aspic like a frozen symphony in red
After cups of plum brandy and before going the bed
Tochitura - pan-fried pork to bid it a farewell, twice
Served with mamaliga - palesta , and red wine with ice,
Or boiled wine with pepper and cinnamon against frost;
So that the pork can swim and the verse were glossed;
Piftie - inferior parts of the bashful pig, mainly the tail,
Feet and ears, kind of meal like taken from a fairytale
In which all are cooked and served in a form of gelatin
In this naturalist field, all the poets smile like Mr.Bean;

Jumari - small pieces of pig meat are fried and tumbled
Through various spices if after all, you are a little troubled
And may falter some poetical from the famous songs
Like "So, good people drink…" couples of diphthongs
Since Saturday to Thursday and make colorful the gray.

This poem was written in the Night of Tuesday to Friday.

( And later we`d find that the housewife had covered with it the pickles cucumbers jar.)

Harmonic Spirits

Harmonic Spirits In a time of past; so far away just beyond where night meets the day two little children were born and raised in the deepest part of the forest, a mystery their father never saw their innocent faces Ancient spirits of woodland graves they became royalty of trolls, and trees the only two whom were human beings they lived out life happily some say they could even hear them singing in perfect harmony They ruled and were protected, by nymphs, fairies, elves, and of creatures of life and grave the trees fulfilled all of their needs The forest and it's wonder a family they became Mother Nature in loving ways came with the birds and bees She lifted them up hugging them, giving immortality in a world with so much pain yet they knew only harmony all of their days the legend of the forest royalty they became healing the creatures that go unseen saying hello and goodbye for many years the little boy and girl left beside an old oak tree one dark February harmonic spirits they are now, running wild and free...

Speckled Mist

Speckled Mist
 Beautiful colors, magnificent swirls
Large enough to consume our world
Then as if connected to an invisible cord
All become stiff as an old iron board

More beauty than could ever be caught
Its multitude could never be bought
The force of it all becomes unstoppable
Within one breath it forms into a single giant molecule

Watching all things stiff
 Starts forming a speckled mist
 Within a dark green hiss
 It's a piranhas kiss
 Thats what that is

And out of the violet mane
 There hearts open souls untamed
From speckles to freckles to lines we would miss
 Within a males pyist
It's love not in a grist
It just keep forming out a name
Once again eyes wide open love without game

Rowdy Racecar

ZOOOOOOOMING speedily…
Tires squeaking from exhaust… high in volume
Racecar spews out smoke…
Blinding the eyes of a thousand fans

Blooming havoc…
Explosions avalanche downwards
Racecar drives fast and furiously
Awesome feelings launch through me
Projecting panic and twisted bliss

Catching the audience’s full attention…
Tension between challengers increase
Who could stand in their way… not even the coaches
Racecar screeches on the racing street…
Ain’t this competition neat? Come! Take a seat!
This event is brilliant – it’s such a treat!

Producing thrill or disappointment…
Car organs, fragments, shards, remains, limbs, veins
Spurts out in flames… flying at every possible direction
Countless racecars… barely functions – this scene is extremely horrendous!

Yet, the victories are gracious!
Vibrant applauses and thanksgiving triggers enlightening cheer
Have no fear!!!
The moment is ever so precious!

Racecar…you make so much racket and suspense!
Rowdiness is in your nature…who will pay the expense??

THE MONEY TREE IN THE WARLOCKS GARDEN

THE MONEY TREE IN THE WARLOCK’S GARDEN

Poverty, poverty, Oh poverty
there is a money tree in the Warlock’s Garden.
Before you slept, you wish for a better way.
Your mother is sick and your father is dead.
Do well in school and live for a moment.
Your poorness will disappear because you have been chosen
to remove bad faith and bring luck upon you.
Do not ever say it is not a blessing.
The thought will bring disaster.
Your magnifier is your mind in thought.
Exemplary, your ideas are.
You are now in a scrape.
You will be the condemner of your faith.
Good I am to those who know a truthful way.
The Money Tree is in the Warlock’s Garden.

The Initiation

It had come, at last, today was the day
you see, it was full moon and that meant
it was time for the initiation ceremony
over the next week Mambo would complete tasks

Then he would become a man able to join hunts
to eventually take a wife and start a family
so much rested on these tasks that he fretted
he knew as the chief's son they would be hazardous

He had done his bathing and time of reflection
now he sat waiting for the elders to fetch him
dressed in his finest ceremony skins, weapons ready
he stood proud and tall as he followed them

He was taken to the heart of the circle
the witch doctor did a dance around him
then the elders spoke to him giving tasks
the first said "I live where the sun rises,

Look to the east as the sun rises to find me"
a bit puzzled he sent of to the east
settling down for the night weapons close
he was awake before dawn he turned east

As the sun and shadows receded it came into view
an old tower long since abandoned left to crumble
when he approached an old man came out of a hut
"You must be Mambo he" said. "Your task here a snake"

It is a female monster who is scaring my people
catch it and take it with you for your next task
he set up bait to tempt it close. Patiently he waited
as it slithered into view he played his wood pipe.

Hypnotised by the music he loaded it into a cart
returning to the elder he asked what to do next
you must head towards the setting sun. There is a lake.
In the lake an island release the snake there alive.

The journey long and hazardous as he pulled the heavy cart
after many miles of fighting of predators he arrived
and waded with great difficulty to the lakes island
once there he released the snake scared by the tremors

The snake shot up the hill and entered a cave
now the reason for the tremors became apparent
this was the mighty evil fire dragon's lair
in clouds of fire and smoke they fought

At last after a battle most royal the snake won
beneath where he had laid there was a note
it was from his father saying well done son
You have one more task travel now northwards

When you reach the shores of the red lake
look for an object that lives in water and on land
when you find the one with the cross of purple
bring it here to me. Puzzled to the meaning of it

Mambo set off. It was a 5 day journey with wonders
scattered on the way. Vegetation and animals that
he had never seen before. Strange looking people
that never came close fleeing when they saw him.

At the red lake Mambo searched and searched
he tried to work out the riddle with no luck
giving up at dark he settled for the night
in the early rays of dawn he felt a nip

There was a cheeky crab trying to snack on his toe
it dawned on him suddenly, a crab, it was a crab
lives both in water and on the land now to find it
walking quietly around the lake he spotted a heap

There on the top was an enormous crab purple cross
on its back. He wrestled with it, at last getting it
bound. Now safe from its claws he loaded it into the cart
making his way back to his village strong and so proud

He arrived to be feted and the witch doctor danced
singing of his achievements and proclaiming that
Mambo was a man now to take up his role on the council
There was much feasting and merry making to welcome him

As time went on in its in veritable way
so came the time for Mambo to rule
He had learned well from his wise father
and reigned well respected for many years

All men are Broken

I am not like your earthly father, why do you treat Me like him?
I am an all consuming love
I am not double-minded; I can’t lie or hurt you with sin,
I created you to be more than what you currently are,
For the father fracture has caused so many of My children to be scared,

All men are broken,
All men were broken,
By their fathers who passed it down to you,
My sons and daughters there is nothing to impossible for me too do,

I am much bigger than anything you face and fear,
I am the Father who has seen every tear,
I am the Father who knows your deepest pain,
I am the Father who will always remain,

Though many fathers meant well they still could never be,
All that I am able to be unto thee,
You’re not your father, you’re not going to be the same,
You were never meant to live with the anxieties of a childhood filled with pain,
So let Me love you, let me in, I am not counting all your sins,
Let Me show you what you have never seen,
For perfect love heals and restores all lost dreams,

I am not your father, please blame me no more,
If you could only see what I have planned for your future; the greatness I have in store,
You would understand, you would forget the past,
You would forgive your fathers, who didn’t know better and couldn’t fulfill their tasks,

A generation has been created,
That has been jaded and recklessly complicated,
I understand, but take my hand; I am not like a carnal man,
I will show you unconditional love that will never fail,
When things get tough I am the Father who will never bail,

I am not like your father, I have been falsely accused,
I am the father who will never leave your side, disappoint you, or abuse
I have watched you all your life suffer in silence, while hiding behind everything and anything to numb yourself well,
I was there every time you slipped up and every time you fell,

But listen my beloved, I call out to you each day,
Just stay quiet for a moment and you will hear what I want to say…

I am here; you are ever before me, for I carved your name in my hand,
I know how to reach you, for I loved you before you ever reached this land,

A broken child becomes a broken man,
Until he knows his heavenly Father is his biggest fan.
Give Me a chance to show you and you will finally understand
That it is My love that will guide you, just take hold of my hand.

Live Life

Colors can fulfill my hopes and dreams,
But can't spill into my vision,
For now just black and white,
Mixed in with grays,
And supersonically but listen,
Dreams can't come true unless you live,
Live it's hopes are just letting us down,
Don't bring our world around,
It wil just shove me back into this nightmare of mine.

Live life on my own,
So it wont be shown,
Shown of my vibration surrounding my home,
Dont let it go,
Dont let is dig down,
Other wise you will have found bits of glass,
Fom the past,
Tear drops every were,
Building inside the creative mind,
Solo of ones nature,
But god is no creator,
Just a dog put into a fairy tale,
Maybe a blast off from hell's old story about a,

To find whats been brought back to life,
So you can seal and shine in your own inspirational mind

Drenched in Silence

Unbearable thoughts barreling through my head
Decaying in this silent chamber...
Where I desperately cry for help

Words come out useless...I have no capability to yelp
They haven't collapsed in the hands of the unforgiving jail-keeper
This pain grows in my bones...making me weaker
No one bothers to consider me
Circulated by envious glory
That snicker at my carrion body as it drops in dripping failures
Dragged by the sickening thought of living with jailers
As if i had no outlook to life...

I'm still placed in this cold-heartened chamber
Because I'm drenched in silence...
haunted by the deafening atmosphere
sensing a load of terrorized fear

Shame embraced me, never leaving my presence
Cautious of the hovering thoughts,
transforming itself into my dreadful, panicky past

This hopelessness doesn't seem to matter
In this chamber of deceitfulness

Someday...hopefully Someday...
This silent chamber will shatter

For now, I'll abide in this loathsome,
silent chamber
Until God, My Savior, will shatter this wretched place
Into smithereens

He Choose to Grow Weak

Please make me understand
Why we do the things we do
If you are cheerful, you feel good
If you are sad you hurt all over (Proverb 17: 22)

How can we help you?

If we didn’t know how you feel
You suppress; you kept it all bottle inside
Somewhere you hide, and you cried,
Why didn’t you come inside from that dark lonely place?
Asking others for help isn’t a disgrace.

Life is like a bend tree, it only stand tall when
The winds calms down, however, it toss and turn
When the Wind becomes strong

Why did you come in from that dark lonely place?
Like a proud, tall tree, he snaps
Asking for help wasn’t a booby trap
Bearing it alone was a choice to grow weak.
Once again he was a toddler and a bit meek

He said. “Mommy I am a big boy now”
“I can do it all by myself. So he murdered
Innocent little kids…

UNFOLD

The pain of change as it unfolds
Is oft a tale that stays untold
What is seen is a whole creature
not deep holes in the feature
nor concrete soles that makes his feet hurt

It all begins with a soft kiss
He is walking with a false bliss
Only following in paw prints
But the nature of mom's lips
Is to rob him of all innocence

Trapped in warm spindles of fear
A wrapped life form kindles in here
Four years bound to shingles of moss
Time to leave this life of sloths
Break free like that of a moth
and Rise again like Christ on the cross

Mountain Climbing

I’m climbing
Above the canyon…the sun
Hits the rocks

I ascend
As I take risk after risk
UP I GO!

I’m climbing
I rely on my own strength
I’m doing FINE!

I descend
While I urgently hold on
For dear life…

Magical Candy Canes

Two little candy canes were bought at a store.
Excitement abounded as they’d have a new home, to explore.
Snuggled in a sack with beautiful toys all around.
Theirs was be a happy life, you can be sure, they had found

They arrived at their new home, as in a blink.
And what did they see, oh my, everything.
All that they’d dreamt of, was before them, you know.
And foremost was the tree… that they would call home.

The tree was decorated with such aplomb and fanfare, well done.
The children laughed and giggled as they ran all around.
What a riotous but organized day of joy it had become.
With tinsel, and ornaments, and lights so profound.

The candy canes were finally put on that glorious tree,
As, yes, a few were eaten by you and by me.
The ceremony ended when an angel was placed by Papa on top.
And no one made a sound, then vibrantly applauded as he came down.

Finally they all had dinner in the room beyond, that night.
As all settled in to wait for that illustrious visit, so right.
Joy abounded all over this house as presents were, so nicely wrapped.
And cookies were made to hand all about.

The last of the candy canes would finally be eaten on Christmas Day…
As presents lay opened and children did play.
Now don’t be sad for those two magical candy canes…
They stole a ride with Santa to the North Pole on that special day.

Merry Christmas to all at Poetry Soup!

The Thread That Binds

A little boy and an ant became great friends one day.
But how to live drew them apart, and this is how they ran astray:

In the Ant’s heart was strict authority and constant work each day.
Why wasn’t the boy following someone, collecting for the food array?
The ant would always build everything in exactly the same proven way.
The anthill was underground and protected them perfectly every day.
Not adding to the hive was a crime, no one would ever think to display.
He knew every thing would be perfect, if everyone did their job and obeyed.

But the boy wanted to build bridges and trestles, just like his Dad, each day.
All of them out in the open, none of them under ground or hidden away.
And inventiveness came with the notice, of new and exciting things in daily play.
His life was really cool, not boring, as standing in a line would convey.
He’d invent, and ponder, and build in exciting, new ways, to fit each new byway.
Quick minded, and resilient he’d build, many fascinating and unique causeways.

The boy and the ant eventually went away, not happy with how the other lived.
They thought the other shortsighted and scorned, at what the other could give.
But they went away without realizing, how very similar were their lives.
For each would spend their time endeavoring to help others with their drive.
But understanding is a harder concept than building a bridge or storing food.
It takes a true gift to see the world as others do…

The moral to this story is really quite easy for all to see…
You can’t expect others to live their lives the way you want them to be.
Here, each was adding to their different world, only they could see.
While one was building for a smaller, singular hive…
The other was building for the hive of mankind.

THE WISHING WELL OF A SUN-RISE,

It is...within the tiny things of early morning, that moment breaths alive, it is within the tiny whisperings, that a melodye plays...like the very dear and the antelope, play home on the range.

so goes the melodye of heart beat, that plays quietly the songs of soul,

here a rhyme is born of day-light coming so soon, through the early morning eyes of the moon-light, and the starry dreams of twilight's transitioning...

into the light of a love letter written to dawn.

soul to soul conversing, as in this love letter, the letters just join hands with the words and just march across the sky...and at the end of the rainbow, there be plenty of golden time,

way down deep on the inside,

...as the inspired choir, of a bumble bee, or a butterfly, starts to sing, like tiny things that live,

flower to flower,
blossom to bloom,

watered and deeply cared for...

O' Eden.

I say, deep beneath the surface of a wishing well...where the pennies lay,

I wish a sun-rise.

The White of Your Eyes

As I look at the whites of your eyes
I feel horror, fear rumbling inside me.

I grind my teeth together when I see you walking.

I fear you, I fear when you talk, shout, when you raise your hand.

I'v always feared you, but no more.
The fear I had of you I turned it into courage.

Now I no longer fear you.
I laugh when you raise your hand, when you shout.

Cuz the only thing I see you as...
Is a dead man walking.

And now your in the ground where you belong.

Lasting Freedom

In the beginning I started off as just another nobody from another nowhere trying make it to somewhere as a somebody as everyone else. In the beginning I was BORN TO LIVE TO DIE, but in the process I was BRED TO LEARN TO SURVIVE. I became a CONVICT OF CHRIST through PAINFUL PLEASURES of my many struggles and strife's. I was a SINFUL SAINT but more of a sinner, mainly a loser and never a winner. I was once considered one of the best, now days I'm just trying to be lower than the rest, unseen in plain sight , NOTHING MORE NOTHING LESS. I became lost in time through my many self-taught TRUE LIES of yet another LOST FIND growing up where few DREAMS LIVE , but many more DREAMS DIE. I soon got LOCKED UP but it was very educational because I LIVED IT and LEARNED FROM IT. I was given a choice to LIVE FREE OR DIE INCARCERATED, so I made that choice to be more loved than hated, so I became UNDER LOVE and OVER HATE, I learned to stop wanting and actually appreciate. Its been hard to change so I became a POET OF PAIN. That's when I learned the truth about those who think their dying for something but they might as well be living for nothing, because I learned that real truth comes from LIVING FOR SOMETHING because I ain't DYING FOR NOTHING. So now I am forever a W.O.L.F. once a warrior of lost freedom now trying to stay a warrior of LASTIN FREEDOM you know what I mean.

Young Cronus

YOUNG CRONUS	(5.7.09)

My father decided he wanted his children
buried, and left for dead.
But my mother, Gaea, both fair and true,
spared her children instead.
So I met with my selfish father,
where, by Gaea, we both were led,
and, holding the sickle she gave me,
this is what I said:

"Hello, dearest father.
I'm glad that you came. After years without you,
I know how you feel about us.
I just hope you know: We feel the same about you."

"But we are not here to argue.
I came here to say good bye."
He knew farewells were in order,
but he did not yet, know why.
I explained our situation,
as my siblings stood idly by,
saying, "If you don't want to have children,
you cannot be swayed, so I won't even try.
But its too late to go back now.
You cannot erase my family and I.
So that leaves us only one option,
and that's why I'm saying goodbye."

"Goodbye, worthless father.
I'm glad that you came. Now pay what is due.
We know how you feel about us,
and now you know how we feel about you."

He regretted the seeds he had sewn,
so, in charity, I reaped his remorse.
I swung my sickle pure and precise,
with such fervent and furious force;
His blood was late to react to the wound,
and that which was lost by means of divorce,
found it's new home in the deep, dark, blue ocean-
unable to ever return to it's source.

Together with most of my brothers and sisters,
there seemed to be no better fit
	than to send him away, as he would have sent us;
	to the bottomless Tartarus pit.

"Goodbye, worthless father.
I'm glad that you came, and you paid what was due.
We knew how you felt about all of us,
so we showed you just how we all feel about you."

"Farewell forever, father.
I'm glad that you're gone, and I'll never atone.
Know that your fear was what you created,
as I take my seat in what once was your throne."

Drifting Mainly

You belong to me mate ( Intro )
And that be that!
Get on board
And grab your hat!

The ship was aghast at its new passenger	( Verse )
Like disdain for the lives that they now left behind,
Newcomers were scarce
And they never would last
But I held up my chin nice and high.

The bloke who took me screamed	( Pre-chorus )
“Mop up the deck we’ve got things to do!”
But I said sir,
I’m just a boy and don’t know what’s to do.

And he said ( Chorus )
“Drifting mainly
Sailin the shores
Taking what’s mine
And leaving what’s yours
Cause you know, we ain’t dead yet.”

Taking the seas for more than eight moons
We found islands and loot
That was bigger than most.
The taste of sea air
With its wind in my hair
Took me away to this new life I lead.

After mopping the deck
He grabbed my hand and screamed
 “Steer this ship boy!”
But I said sir,
I’m just a lad and don’t know where to go.

So the crew yelled	( Chorus )
“Drifting mainly
Sailin the shore
Taking what’s mine
And leaving what’s yours
Cause you know, we ain’t dead yet.”

Surprising to me
Was my unshaven face
The captain looked on
And smiled with grace,
We stopped at a place
Where the women were loose and didn’t mind
If we took a peak.

He said “Now you’re a man so let’s get on that boat,
We got places to be and some people to rope,
So grab that sword and drop that mop
Cause you’re no longer a boy in my eyes.”

I practiced the duel with the men in the crew
The captain took eye to my devilish pride,
And he took me aside and said
“Even in death I’m gonna miss you boy
But don’t let it strike you
Or kill your spirits
Cause even time can beat out the Grim.”

Then in the darkness came fire and screams,
Our vessel had stopped after fourteen years,
The crew fought hard and beat most of the men
But now, my Captain was dead.

We took the new ship watching ours sink deep
Saying goodbye to our drowning escape,
The crew turned towards me and asked
“What do we do?” and I smiled,
And they did to.

And we yelled ( Chorus )
“Drifting mainly
Sailin the shores
Takin what’s mine
And leaving what’s yours
Cause you know, we ain’t dead yet.”

Her Final Words

"No." She whispered before drowning into her sorrows.
Her life had been a simple happy one.
There were no pains and no troubles.
Life was life and people were people.
Life was simple.
and life was all about tomorrows.
Life didn't know about sorrows.
Her sorrows.
Those same sorrows that she drowned in never existed.
They were never there, but where?
First to be sad in the naive town of joy.
Sorrow became contagious and what was known as happiness no longer was there.
It was non-exististent.
A meager thought
and a blessed memory.
She tried and tried.
She failed and failed.
Life was no longer hers.
For Pain was her only possession.
Her curse.
She lived and she died.
Yet, her legacy was passed on.
Never was it gone.
"No." She whispered before drowning in her sorrows,
"Save them."

Sir Teddy

Inching from the cradled arms,
Careful not to wake the boy,
The knight begins his watch
His sword and shield deployed.

The defender of dreams,
 And protector of the mind.
He shall show no mercy
For nightmares he may find.

The battlefield in darkness,
He waits at the gates of Hell,
For any beast emerge,
Will hear the ringing knell.

But morning shows its face,
And the gates below are closed.
The boy arises safe
With his teddy bear to hold.

Counterpole

My rhymes are timeless while this time is lifeless
why is life this kind less, reminds me that this
mind is spineless ready to tip and quit, as
my lies become mindless and get swollen shut
and Stuck up inside my sinus
Drivin in my prime but with no optimus
Victim to the flip-side of the Midas
Running through my blood like a virus
The sun makes my skin mundane
rubbin on ben gay but get arthritis
touch spermicide and converts to hepatitis
I hit the plus sign but it just musters up a minus
I'm seen sucking my thumb like the peanut's Linus
I run and duck when I hear the sirens cause
I abducted the president's Nike air pumps
now air force one is trying to find us
I'm at my desk obsessin about success but
This whole time its been right behind us

Felt A Funeral In My Brain

In light an observed heat to penetrate the night

I felt a funeral in my brain kind of insane?
Struggles to reach the perplexed end yet to what;
A dungeon of its myraid calling
Now deeper penetrating deeper to its torn crust

To equate logic at its visible mile

A shade of torn logic in derision
What was your parting decision/
One will equate logical persuasion?
A vested call in search of its perplexed acquaintance

Felt a funeral in my brain kind of lost now insane;

Shaped dreams from my hair the pretty child awaits the storm;

In eternity's charm fought back the silence from within....
Shades of torn columns of sod branched in its delicate cuff

Perhaps this is the place where Nero once tred?

The Power of Youth

With the weight of the world on our shoulders

we walk, heads held high

they don't really understand

the extreme power in which we posses

we live life under Their radar

all the while, holding them up

but no thanks come to us

just sneers and stereotypes

we are Not the casualties of society

just because we tread on the lines of what they consider "appropriate"

yet that is how they treat us

because they are Afraid

but I tell you

keep your heads held High

scoff right back at them

because you know how it will end

soon enough

we will rise to rule our own world

                          Our Own Way

We are the Youth

We are the Future

and they'll have to just suck it up and deal

when they see how much we are going to Change

Wildness

I felt my thoughts run wild
Was I really a demon child
Thoughts tightened my head grew light
I hoped my expression was on my face right

I absorbed your statement surety taking flight
 Your questions growing old
Your coming across as way to bold
So this is the child you stole

Standing here now I felt guilty as sin
My emotions had just let little old Peace walk right in
I was sure that without me the child's future was dim
So I filled her right up to the rim

Without me here she surely would be condemned
Who would look for me now I live in the brim

As I fought the fear
 Of having you here
 It hurt to the bone
 Making her a home

So I opened the door
But her back to where she was before
Because I love her even more
I stay here to even the score

Look at Me Now

Time crawls by, as if determined to torture me in this state. Why won’t it go by faster? I want to get away from here. Away from this world.
Have you ever had the strong desire to just…go outside at midnight, and walk around? Happens to me all the time. Night is my favourite time. I can actually think when it’s dark. My thoughts aren’t jumbled up, they're actually faster.
Life…can be annoying. So many people to make fun of you. Even if they don’t say it out loud. Just the way they act or look at you. It hurts. I’ve been bullied since I was in 5th grade. Picked on, shoved, and made fun of. You know what? LOOK AT ME NOW. All that bullying, the constant attacks on my already fragile esteem, look at who it’s made me. Emotional, likeable, versatile and dynamic. Without all of that, I wouldn’t be who I am. So thank you. You’ve effectively made a guy who HAS A HEART AND SOUL.
But who knows what’s going on with me? Over the years it’s added up. Now for unapparent reasons at random times I get SO depressed that I don’t want to be ‘here’ anymore. I just want to move on, get out of this life. Start a new one…you thought I was talking about killing myself? No. I’m not like that. Anymore. At least I think I’m not…
What I REALLY hate is being called ‘emo.’ My sister calls me Goth. She doesn’t even know what that means! Anyway, emo. WHY?! Do I look emo to you?! Maybe I do. And you know how many people look at me as if they're thinking “oh, he’s emo. He cuts himself and cries because he’s a wimp.” Well guess what? THAT’S NOT WHAT EMO IS. Emo=Emotional. Yes, if you were wondering, I am emotional. And yes, I do get depressed a lot. And I like emo music (its good music, wtf?) But I don’t like to be called emo, or scene, or Goth, or whatever. I may not show it, and I may agree with you on it when you call me it, but it pisses me off. Big time.
I once took a personality test. Out of 100, I got an 70 in the emotional category. The average for a 15 year old guy like me is 50. Give or take 5. I also got an 82 in the creativity/intuitive category, and I'm 82% introverted. And 77% Perceiving instead of judging.
So please don’t call me emo. Because I really am “emo.” But I don’t like to be called it. People always think I'm weird when they hear that pertaining to me. And it hurts. So Don’t. Do. It.

Difficult Trials -Part 1-

Turn the wheel
Out of curiosity
I'll be generous...you'll receive
Something special...something to make you whole
Though the trials you must run through
Are a great struggle that can easily
Pull you down
And I want to erase your frown

You will feel way better about yourself
Just trust me...take my hand...
I'll encourage you to have a satisfying time
Just for your own liking
We'll be hiking
Those somewhat difficult hardships
Together for eternity
We'll spend time in the future
Together in unity

*******he sea...Let's flee and be free!
LOOK how nice you look!

Trample those insufferable nuisances
That dare put you down
To the sea floor
I'll push them to the core!

Feel free to walk the
Road of Recovery

I'm Sleeping Outside

I've tried to tamper with such precious time
Looked forward and back with open eyes
I wonder about the day I'll die
Will there be rain or shine?
Maybe both, maybe none
As I speak another life has begun
Wish them luck as they carry on
Bewildered within these starry nights
I thought of time when I have lied
Oh such precious time
It flies
(im sleeping outside)
Signs and dreams lead me to believe
That somehow, some way
I'll be something great
Do I choose to be nieve?
They'll never know
Do I choose to be so weak?
It'll never show
(I'll be sleeping outside)
Love is such a clishey it seems
Something I could only see
Her eyes drew us in like summer heat
Cupids arrows were made of clay
Oh yes I've longed for this day
I knew I wasnt lying anymore
(I always sleep outside
where the weather is nice
I can feel everything for what it's worth
dont give me signs or written lines
give me your solid words)

Sympathy for Cervantes

When I was a child along with my cousins we listen to heroic tales about our ancestors and in someway the mill was always mentioned. So we went to discover these EPIC Historic site. A glance of paradise The All Heaven -we were in heaven- As we start slopping down, and there's no heaven without snakes, lizards, all kind of reptiles endangered plants, birds of prey insects and sweet nature fruits (our only recommendation for the tour), scared till the bone we easy pass and then the Oasis: grapes all kind of apples, strawberries, oranges and what we were looking for coffee, yes Coffee our faith ( café fé Fé before praying WE drink coffee) and Tia Kindness serve cake port-wine conversation more coffee, fruits, more coffee and Uncle Fell Good BE Healthy preparing our bags with all the mentioned plus corn (a scream "please came back before going" ) and all the pluses associated with having a good time. After 5 hours (10 min) the oldest explorer Mario preoccupied, seeing vultures spectres and feeling worms crawling and I likewise after all it's 5 PM(+ 4 more summer day hours), We decided to leave forgetting all the etiquettes basic Inc. that will be solved in church with lot's of French style kisses(my cousins were born in France and the all village has 33 and 75 car plates)

Scarred Tissue

scarred tissue i don't miss you i don't wish you were the better of me i don't care much for surveillance but it tempts me to burn out inside everybody's lying scarred tissue i really miss you i really wish you had got the better of me you see, i need that bad beat sometimes 'cause everybody's fine yeah, everybody's fine that's what on my mind For even Elvis reigning in his castle sometimes lost battles, immortalized forever tell the stories of the glories of mighty Aphrodite the most beautiful sin in existence bright was her smile all while the while evil stirred grinning storm clouds castles in the sky castles in the sky made for you and I grand castles in the sky sometimes re-invent your self just for indulgence stray from the normal path for it was one of a kind but I'm already under influenced sometimes a knowledgeable bright shining star fades away into the darkness shall come back in rebirth I know it sounds tragic but that's what I heard every bird has wings wings to fly away any chosen day into my dismay a beautiful array wings to start a new inner strength attitude because I'm in stride with you on another level soon a game worth winning is the reason we play life can be desperate at times but I find its beauty truly basking in the sunlight of midday so as I wave before a wave washes me to the shore I seek every day has been worth the while for the while stays wildly embedded in uniquely threaded scarred tissue

Pokepoem

Here I go to catch em all
I'll prove myself to be the best
If I only thow my pokeball
I know that I will pass the test

150 is where it all began
though now it's gone astray
so 150 is my only plan
This I've decided is my fray

Twisting my cap backwards
I'll toss out my need to battle
Maybe I will fall forwards
My resolve you cannot rattle

To train them has been my cause
and I will travel across the lands
There is no time for me to pause
I only need some helping hands

Here I go to catch em all
I'll prove myself to be the best
If I only throw my pokeball
I know that I will pass the test

Rawe of the Raven Hair

The river lay across the path
Like a never ending tale
Murmured secrets passing by
Through that dim and moonlit dale

And I stood by upon the path
Water seemed to say to me
That "Only Innocent may pass
All were once those truly free"

It seemed I saw a child there
In the river, on the shore
A beautious thing with golden hair
Eyes black as the river's core

She walked into the river then
As she touched the water's side
She did not sink, but Innocent
Walked atop the river wide

"River daughter" named I her
In that realm of unknown sounds
Bowed she then, and touched her hair
Into the river's damping crowns

As she melted to the depths
I knew to be the river base
I was distracted from her sight
By moonlight on the farther face

Across the river did I see
Silver-black was shimmering
And in the moonlight there I saw
Hair as black as raven-wing

The river of the night lay there
Know that I was lost for words
"I, Rawe of the Raven Hair"
Spoke the river, and I heard

Rawe of the Raven Hair
Gods are wont to know thee
None is there so beautious fair
I shall always love thee

The deep enchantress of the night
So the legends often say
The faerie of the darker light
Not seen ever 'neath the day

The legends tell she is the river
When the moon is on the rise
The stories say she is the moonlight
When the river all still lies

Not a sound did break that silence
Yet the river spoke to me
"Be ye innocent and pass"
Into this moonlit misery

Entranced by nothing but the night
Stepped I to the river then
And, Innocent, I walked above
Water never meant for men

The River-Child I'd seen before
Brought me to my innocence
And not a thought within me lay
But the thought of infant bliss

So cross did I, and as I did
Water still beneath my lay
The moonlight shone upon the bank
Rawe on the bank did stay

Perplexed, she looked, and spoke she then
"How crossed thee o'er the river's shore?
Innocence unmeant for men
Resides within thee: in thy core."

"How canst thou cross the river Styx
Unknown to Charon, undead and live?"
Said I to her "Ah, I am dead:
Dead to reality's soft lies"

"Rawe of the Raven Hair
Beauty not in life, in Death
None is there so beautious fair
Truth lies in thy breath"

"Rawe of the Raven Hair
Life is wont to know thee
All death's freedom, no life's care
Won't you come with me?"

In that realm of soft delusions
Truth was still her words inside
"Though in Death life can be free,
Life of Death is suicide."

Never Trust the One You Lust

Another middle-schooler poem I made! ^.^
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Never trust the one you lust
For I have done so
I saw the figure in the rain
As dark as the crow
For death himself had stood there
With all his cunning glee,
But then I look inside the reflection
Only seeing me!
I die a thousand times
Yet the clock still chimes
Am I ever to flee?
Heh—now I clearly see the end:
Sanities’ my only friend

Polar Bears And The Penguins

Some times they say the great and mighty do fall…
And the penguin story of greatness, should be heard by all.
Polar bears are mighty and cunning with massive brute strength.
But they messed with the penguins, a mistake, I do think.

The polar bears went after the penguins and cute little chicks.
So you’ll never guess what those cute little penguins did.
Using the most courageous penguins as a target so nice.
They lured all the polar bears, for the first time, out onto the ice.

The greedy bears moved out in force for the kill.
But the penguins pushed the ice flows into the currents windmill.
So intent on dinner and full of themselves, were they that day…
That the polar bears didn’t notice the ice caught in the currents sway.

The polar bears were way out to sea, before noticing their plight.
And, by then, the penguins were safely at home tucked in for the night.
You might say, the current was a friend to the penguins that day.
For it eventually sent those polar bears to the North Pole far away.

Now the moral of this story is here to easily understand.
Brute strength is not the greatest thing to cherish; it is far greater to plan…
And, never turn your back on a penguin I say.
They’re the reason there’s no polar bears at the South Pole, to this day.

Nightmares and imbetweens

A busted boys heart

Beaten black and blue

His bloody hands pray for help

A cowering child

Shaking by the door

Lowers his head and wonders if anyone can help

A woman in fear

She knows her husband will be home

She speaks to the wall that broke her face if anyone will hear her cries for help

                                            “Homo” they say

                                            They want you to hear

                                            Don't feel your pain

They are oh so full of cheer

                                            They will think you're funny

                                            The coolest guy around

All the girls would want you

       All hands down

Mommy his blue eyes plead

I won't do it again

But you see

She doesn't care

It's not you it's me

Raise that hand again

You will feel relieved

That child loves you

Set him free

She stands with her head held high

Hands deep in suds with her face prettied up

She thinks he will be pleased

He stumbles through the door screaming

                                                                                “What the hell are these?!”

He refers to the flowers in the vase by the door

“Your son picked those for me

                                                                                It's mother's day you know”

“Your no mother you're a whore”

Do you think this is okay?

You're all making mistakes

People should love people not mean harm in any way

Everyone is different

All in their own special way

You may like men or women or both and it's okay!

You're a sweet young boy

Your mother does love you she just can't show it in the right way

The spouse who brings home hate doesn't mean the pain

He may throw you into walls and bash your face

But it's not your fault, I swear it's true
The people who bring sorrow need help not you

Still unaware of the time and now im late for an appointment that jumped starts my career but im wasted with the fellas in the street. Teenage Love 2-and-a-half: Childhood Sweethearts

This type of love have been in the lives of all children (boys and girls) for some time to
come. It's been like that since the day the kids started going to camp and elementary
school. It seems as though that when a little boy had fallen in love with a little girl or
the other way, their hearts start to beat, they're getting this emotional feeling in their
ribs, thoughts rushing tn their brains, and that kinda stuff. It will have looked like
that their parents will have know that their kids were in love with each other, even from
the beginning. There's been a lot of young relationships that have begun back in
elementary school and at summer camp, especially when one little boy had met one little
girl when they were participating in a lot of camping activities (kayaking, e.g.). But
what's so great about a lot of long-term relationships most of all is when this boy and
this girl are talking to each other on the phone on a Saturday night. This type of young
love among children from around the world is starting to look like the movie, "Little
Manhattan" with Josh Hutcherson. It's also as if this was a real fairy tale. Sometimes,
some relationships among kids don't last long, but some of them do. And when it comes to
these kids-before-teenagers falling in love with each other, there is such thing as love
at first sight. Love follows all of the children everywhere they go; it exists. Their
parents will have gotten this funny feeling inside, especially when they were supposed to
know what their lives were like as children when they met and fell in love. Let's hope
everybody knows that young love exists. Let's also hope that the parents know that their
children are in love with each other. And if this type of young love continues to grow and
grow and grow day in and day out, their hearts will never be broken in the near future.
Let's hope they stay together forever.

Tale of the White Snow Turtles

In the deep of the snow, In the dead of winter,
Under the Aurora Borealis taking our breath away.
The snow turtles jostle, and skittle, and Skim the snow,
All in a beautifully quiet nights, bountiful, wonderful play.

Man has seldom seen this recluse, so gentle and so renowned.
White as the snow packed earth itself, they simply can’t be found.
They sled and slide and scurry to hide before the break of day,
No one knows they’re even there, for they make not even a sound.

Animals respect them for they can’t make them into prey.
Even the polar bears leave them alone, except for to play.
And no matter how much the bears bat them about, I say!
They just close up and go wherever they are conveyed.

Magical, they can swim waters quite cold and really deep.
They eat the little fishes and enjoy whatever they can reap.
A man will never find their den as they dig into the frozen snow,
For like the tundra gophers, they live in the frozen ground below.

I swear they do exist, for a baby once came to me, admiring my fishing pole.
For I had lots of little tasty, yummy, fish that he wanted my son and I to throw.
We obliged him just that once, and then for more nights before we left his land.
But if you're going searching there’s something I should let you know, offhand.
They only show themselves to the pure of heart with a fish offering in your hand.

'the twitch'

This is the story of ‘the twitch’.
We have all had it:
That bit of movement before we sleep.
We have been awakened by it when we were younger. . . it threw our arm out to catch us
before we fell out of bed.
It was even younger than that for us.
It was sometimes confused with a kick -- from our mothers’ tummies to the swaddle of
blanket.
As we grew, the arm no longer flew. . . and thus. . . ‘the twitch’.
It is thought that we started with
a parting of the energy that mathematicians make Einsteins
of, or,
sounds of the aria that Mozart’d
into our echoes of the day -- a marriage of concept and conceptual.
It took us through the outreach of awkward doubt. . . brought us ‘round the curve
of nerve
for monkey bars toward the first dance; drew blood in our mouths before we got the first
punch – given/taken.
The part of ‘the twitch’
that is worthy of noting now is that
it has never wanted to be caught:
It wanted more than nothing to be left alone – perhaps; conceived that
it would be an occasion for cause. . . effect – the drive our parents tried to delay
with Dr. Seuss and Disney books. A teenage indifference took us away from
   it.
We all fall asleep. . . as we’ve always done.
The story of ‘the twitch’ begins at the thumb; carries on. . . for the course of fingers
   it touched.
Brings us a little closer to the edge of our beds.

her toe

its a toe,
on this foot,
on a girl,
who cant stay put,

its been hit,
by chairs and rocks,
mostly when,
its only clad in socks,

its been painted,
and wiggled around,
its best friend,
is the ground,

cause its a toe,
on this foot,
on a girl,
that won't stay put.

Poetry About Poetry

Shades of color bounce within
Singing their hues dancing in place
Vivid lines colored outside
Rules broken with empty space
A midnights dream heard and seen
Gleaming from the twinkle of a eye
Wings touched flown and plucked
Gliding like a bird up in the sky
Wishes from pennies thrown into tears
The reservoir over flowing with pigments of pain
Drowning from the shadows
The flood paints the day
Words speak volumes of silence hidden
Their sounds blind to what they see
Mirrors of nouns and verbs
Their meaning and secrets lost at sea
Emotions ruled by laws of language
Spelled in boxes of glass
Melted from sands inside
That voices strangle to grasp

Aura

Shades of pine grafted in again resign
Shattered pine in elm certain grove alone
My meadow had a thorn certain credit
The factual harm of its heartless swarm
Featured within in the created design with pine
Eyes sharpened as a willow in garb
The tornado sequence has even the fog alone
Again tempors fly like never before
Blatant lies have come at no surprise
In parts unknown an aura of repute to harm
Sound the alarm in fetters arm
Choirs of saints in regard to its beckoning drawn
Empire strain inside my brain fragments of cure
The surface of the sun has tainted my vision with harm
Sound the alarm agiain my faithful friend by whom we can depend
Shattered glass on the parchment floor
Aura
An impulse deep in regards to the heart
Shades of pine will line the volume of scattered pillows
A willow in derision you made a final decision
A thought provokoing reason to believe in
Shattered memory's in the moments of innocence with a plight of disbelief
We have soon turned over a brand new leaf
Timeless peaks in a swelll shattered fragments from within
A great design still sublime in its timeless parts the heart
Aura
Jim Morrison had it
Janis Joplin couldn't stop it
Jimi Hendrix sought this quick fix
An unbellievable call being caught in the mix!

Here Without You

Here without you
Paints me a realization that life isn't easy
It displaces the settling railroad
Taken away by the midnight train's calamity

Waiting impatiently
to face some inspiration given by God
Over the driver and I

By the way you shrivel up in anger,
I'm not ready to cross through the trampled street
Trampling over the infected cycle...unprepared to face reality's misfortune
Swimming in its ungrateful punishment

Settling in my sorrow state...shaping my way away from ignorant fate
You lie in scrumptious desires, supposedly independent in your heart-seeking choices
To burn the aches and rashes for all the times you fooled us...took us for granite
What do you have left to diminish?
To accomplish?

Here without you is like refusing an outspoken crowd, applauding in satisfaction
Ruining the family's reputation...flustering the gas station
Jaded by your defiant outbursts

Holding up my clutched fists in shame
Holding back tears that reck a moment's peace

This betrayal...not deserving a name

You were passing near us, snickering and cursing our form...our completive family
You wish for scrumptious desires...shaping your heart in frightening lies that strike the innocence of your presence

All the years seem to leave us behind
Settling in the resistible past
Passing our unachieved, future goals
Poverty splattering us in shapeless love

Rummaging mad as a furious bear in danger of unyielding snares

Are we on time to reach the morning train?
And start our life in a new cycle
This family barely has anything to gain
You aren't even offering us any advice...same be for you,
Pleasure-seeking mother

Here without you is competitive, but affordable and fair
We aren't crushed against your passionate glares

Here without you is an unhappy environment
Too caught up in unbearable suffocation and useless bafflement

Here without you
Paints me a realization that life isn't easy
It displaces the settling railroad
Taken away by the midnight train's calamity

Come home... face your fears and embarrassment
Get away from the monstrous zoo, snatching away impressing love
Help repair this tear between the whole family with our handyman
Giving it time to grow stable and secure

This family barely has anything to gain
You aren't even offering us any advice...same be for you,
Pleasure-seeking mother

Good riddance

Nap Time For Kitty

As the kids sat around undecided and blaize…
A summer project was needed ever so badly today…
My crew wavered and together finally exclaimed…
They wanted a video and to make it spectacular this time…
Anything less than U Tube quality would be a crime…
So the kids ask for a poem about their favorite fare,
They wanted it full of a large quantity of action and flair.
And the topic they wanted, that warmed their hearts…
Were the antics of Dandylion the cat of our house.
So cat chasing and spying became a spectacular game…
As they watched the kitty pounce upon his little rag mouse.
Then he slid and he jumped as he ran through the house.
He attacked the dogs tails as he snuck up behind…
And he climbed to the window to count birds passing by…
Then he tried to jump on the counter as I made everyone’s lunch.
He had to eat first… there was no other way, than first…
Then later I put the baby down for a nap…
And surprise, surprise!
I found the Kitty next to baby with 4 paws to the sky.

The video, music, and poetry would eventually come to be…
With the older kids stringing it together for me.
It was finally good for a lot of laughs…
As the kids all got copies for dear Mom and Dad…

But now let me instruct and suggest as all videos must:
Though many a one was happily surprised and beset…
No Animals were hurt in the making of “Nap Time for Kitty”...
Of that, you can bet...

God Is Sovereign

God in his sovereignty

The armor of God is left to avenge
My helmet gets clogged in such a venge;
We till the soil yet wait for the water to boil
God in his sovereignty & joy
We draw lines in the sand to understand
Yet for the sake of God we will stand
Inside we fall short of all known reasoning
Many don't know or care where they are headed
Some are embarassed in part
~

Gone are the days we used to frolic in our haze;

Today we are being stuck in a maze,

God in his sovereignty others are amazed,
With each new step they take a number will fade....

A choice by which to bare its frame,

While the intire world today is totally insane !

my inhibitions are exacerbated by "tradition"
the chains evolve to metaphors and weapons turn to words
and blame is only pointed at the 2nd and the 3rd,point of view
your rich but you dont know the point of YOU?
are these the people that our children look up to?
now in my mind,i redifine the very things that shame me.
slurs, and other stereo types...they try to taint me
they judge anothers life style as if they were a saint, see?
...satire,sister satire? cures them with a reflection..

Creature

Observing.
Frozen in time,
captivated by this enormous being,
the size of a small car.

Pondering,
his every move.
The way he used his hands;
so child-like.
With all the consciousness of the world,
and graceless coordination.

Aware.
of the visitors,
as they briefly called out for his attention.
Only for a moment,
then they were gone.

Untamed,
in an orderly sham.
He sat there,
in his dark cave.
As if he was waiting for the light to find him.

Perched,
on a boulder,
squatting, and primitive.
Drawing in the dirt with one hand.
Swatting a fly with the other.

Surreal,
His nature,
as he rushed to consume his food.
The females hovered behind him,
watching intently,
like me.
His movement mechanic.
His presence powerful.
He was the king of his domain.

Studying,
his magnificence, I watched.
How smart was he?
Could he feel my presence?
Engulfed in the very essence of all that was him,
I watched.

Wondering,
how he felt, I watched.
Did he think he was still in the womb of Mother Nature?
Or, did he know the iron bars which embrace him now?

Then
it happened;
our eyes met.
He noticed my presence.
His gaze intimidated me,
But I did not look away.
He approached me.
I felt his eyes inspecting my soul.
A chill ran down my back,
I turned behind me,
only to find no other presence there.
When I turned back,
we were face to face.
Separated by the sham,
And a two inch piece of glass.
Just me and him,
the two of us,
and the females hovering behind him.

Wise,
His old eyes spoke to me,
They said
“I am like you.
I love, I feel, I hurt.
I am, like you.”

Sympathetic,
I put my hand on the glass
and with all the
consciousness of the world,
he did the same.
With tears in my eyes,
I smiled.

Then, he pooped in his other hand
and wiped it on the glass.
This was a sign of endearment.
I laughed out loud.
And I swear,
He smiled back.

Judas The Fallen Angel

I'm not the devil
But I know who he is
He's your alter-ego
And your so oblivious
He's the angry reaction
He's the hate hidden inside
That masked as confidence
That's the devils own foolish pride
I admit it, I lied
For I know he's with me
When everyone disappears
And we debate how things should be
I feel sorry for him
I was also casted out
So I soothe his great evil
And he removes all my doubt
Not the worst thing I've done
We don't hurt no one
They still despise us
I feel like his son
Except there's that thing
Always keeps me true
Peace and love lead to happiness
The rest is up to you
For we can just show you
The reflection you wear
As we climb back towards heaven
My mind already resides there

And the millions of dream chasers
awaiting me there
trying to catch up
by acting like they care
yet somehow, I still truly do
my mind is much stronger now
in thanks to you
nobody hates me
when I love myself
their desire can;t touch my
sense of already there
catch up to me
if you think can
you might learn the power
when i show you the dance
it will be okay
when the music takes you away
I'll be holding your hand
at the end of the day
my one truest friend
always saw the end
before I ever
made a start towards it
the old me is over
and I'm more loved for it.

Three Of Me

I look in the mirror
And what do I see?
I see an exact
Copy of me.

I look in the bed
That lies above mine
There comes a voice
That procures my whine.

I look at the table
And to my right
I see my reflection
But I have no fright.

Each reflection had hair
Golden as wheat
We all love ice-cream
As our favorite treat.

Sapphire eyes
Four shining back at me
Tall lanky limbs
As graceful as could be

I am one of three
All copies of me
I’m a triplet you see
And I always will be.

A motion picture

Though i was only sixteen,
all i knew was attitude and boys
But in all a day it changed
When i peeked into a large room
The room was dark and with one light wall
All i saw was people running around the wall
I finished watching it and scurried out of the way
Before a massive group of rich pigs came out
when they all left i snuck into the room and felt the wall
Confused and puzzled how it happen
I ran back to school and told my friends about it
i told them it was like a picture but it came alive
I heard they were called Motion Pictures
I have watched them ever since
Now over sixtie i love movies

Cerneja Kingdom And A Chirurgical Gift

My GRANDFATHER loved to work. His schedule from 3 am till 6 pm we were farmers
-we is a lot of people who's here?- He asks.
-We Are.
With the scream of a Legendary fighter we all say "We Are" proudly looking at each other. The cows have a special meaning to WE,
They were Nurture to be Healthy and Beautiful and were a Legendary Hobby after 6 meaning that they Shine, than won all trophy's for strength beauty and behaving. Cerneja was an Imperatriz, temperamental, always ready to fight for her kingdom. Here comes the one of many risk-free situations in a natural site in the Vasdos the the Luso-Amazonia between 4 cows and dozens of Bovidae mammals, sheep and goats included, and with Cerneja out of control trying (have done before) to sacrifice an innocent well nurtured and less beautiful for Cer-kingdom standards and a solution. From HIS 2 meters of an well balanced body structure holding a horn push and propelling with so much energy, Cer smash like a meteor to the floor over the farmers and Farmer and Animal kingdom stupefaction and our daze (the best, the Queen "Cerneja" almost a myth "and what about the empire-we thought". The kingdom always goes on.
Replaced Cer was sold for good money divided between the two owners (some animals like most of the land had more than one owner). The chirurgical eye of my HEART was so right and we were so wrong that Cer killed the unfortunate brand new owner and was given to the local slaughter house for THE FARMER unhappiness our dejection and all the WOMEN in the house joy In killing one of us instead one of others and Cerneja was evil-

What stays is GULLIVER well tied to a chair by dwarves (in any pattern out of NBA tallest) while naptime warding off a fly and waking up smiling and feigning stretching the tight ropes
-It's time to work
Farmers pay back with the same coin to each other-WORK- And money comes from selling shared properties animals and milk.
Sharing HERO type of stories always with coffee, good food and wine I was always involved in the exchange and legendary people are generally anonymous - in this particular that's not true for the heroism and courage stories but still will continue anonymous. Thank You For the Kindness and Patience and I hope You continue to Produce Alike because What We Got, Get For Free We Give Back For Free, Right!

Castle on the Hill

I took my children in October
To a castle in the hills.
We were enchanted by its splendor,
Awing grandeur and strange thrills.

Purple plumes of smoke were pouring
From big chimneys in the sky.
The silver moon came out of hiding.
Scary bats began to fly.

I told my self I couldn’t go on
With those bats flying around.,
But with my children so excited,
I simply could not let them down.

I heard moans and groans and cackles
Coming from those castle rooms
And I thought I saw some witches
Flying wildly on their brooms.

I gathered up my children
Fearing that one could be lost
With ghosts and goblins in the castle.
That would be too high a cost.

So I took them to a motel
Where live folks were all about.
Real spooks on Halloween is something
I for one could do without.

I took a head count of my children
And I seemed to have one more
Than I had when we went bravely
Through that big old castle door.

I took him with us trick or treating
Up and down the city street.
He was already dressed in costume,
Eye holes poked into a sheet.

I got them ready for the bathtub
Before putting them to bed
And to help the little stranger,
Pulled the sheet from off his head.

I dropped the sheet and left it lying
Upon the bathroom floor.
When I turned to bathe the urchin
He was not there any more.

The next Halloween my children
Went trick or treating once again.
I counted twice, and there were four
Where only my three should have been.

So it’s been forever after,
Just the same each Halloween
I take my children trick or treating
With another in between.

He’s just as happy as the others
With his bag of candy treats,
But when I try to free him of them
He’s not there beneath the sheets.

I am hoping when my children
Such small pleasures have out grown,
I’ll still have that little stranger,
I need not trick or treat alone.

( I took one from my past and changed it a bit to fit. It is not absolutely new. You
didn't mention if it had to be. all new. I can remove it if necessary.

MAFIA

(Mothers & Fathers Of Italian Americans),

Out of desperation one usurps their stead;
Picking up its broken pieces from the fragments of their head
I'm going to make you an offer you won't refuse
Shackled from philisophy's that scream choose

Still meet my old friend,
Fist full of lead with bloody hand
Give me some time to contemplate & understand
To survive in the streets getting shot hero's bleed

Timely tune leaving soon shadows sleet
Keep your friends close & enemies that much closer
Throw a rope around your head no bend over
No neck Jimmy with his friend Uncle Tony

With words in untimely exposed ravioli
Not to mention cooking the stramboli;
MAFIA
Shades of dark rivers bend

Nine at head now your dead
Big trunk to dunk that flunk
A special olive stirred with straight up Tom Collins
A wandering crowd with a special promise

Two tone Jimmy was the lady's thing got the sell that every lady needs
9 at head by dock at noon then sorrow had bled
Struggled to refrain from the slice on the blade
A clear taste of viable solution

MAFIA
Blank shells buzz to bells living hell
Crown of gold jewels explode truth untold
Now you will do as you are told until the very rights to you are sold

Through a barrage of steps new episodes...
Two kanuck's suited up best fresh out of Jersey;
Brevity
Shattered glass

Yet its all fair to say no one ever gets by on any free pass!

Night Light/Row the Tide

Night light,
burning in the quiet.
Night light,
stirring in the silence.
My light,
you might be an answer to the shade,
guiding with your rays from far away.

Night light,
flicker as the wind goes by.
Night light,
dimmer by the passing time.
My light,
your luminous shine reminds our hearts,
that there can be light even in dark.

Night light,
glowing to the very last.
Night light,
slowing, you turn to ash.
My light,
I will never forget what you've done,
a million lights now brighter then the sun,
-then the sun,
are spreading out their light to everyone.

Row, row, row with the tide,
over and under, side to side,
sway with the waves and hang on tight,
oh, all in the blue of your eyes.

Row, row, row with the tide,
rush in, rush out, recede, rise,
land in the sand, my my, what a ride,
oh, all in the blue of your eyes.

Row, Row, Row with the tide,
sink or swim everyone must decide,
fish in the sea must flee for their lives,
oh, all in the blue of your eyes.

Row, Row, Row with the tide,
would you befriend me, would you be mine?
We could see our journey unwind,
We could live happily for all time,
oh, everything I need I can find,
-right in the blue of your eyes.

Butterfly

She was just 8 years old
With freckles on her face
She was a little tom boy
Playing miles from the U.S base

Her name was parwana
 Means butterfly in afghan
She was like a little princess
Born in a cruel land

She was with other children
Just playing under the skies
But they look like terrorist
to a robotic drone as it flies

So they all were killed
With bombs falling from the skies
Then Washington says on TV
It’s a mistake we apologize

We apologize for your lost?
How will that ease the pain?
Of the parents not seeing
Their little love ones again

Her mother cries oh god
Why don’t you kill me instead?
How can I live now?
That my little butterfly is dead

These are our children
Not a horse or a cow
Go look your self in the mirror
Who are the terrorist now?

 The British prime minster
Says the terrorist will be beat
From his press conference
From NUMBER 10 Downing Street

The white house says
There will causalities of wars
While all the war mongers
Are safe behind their doors

Her father mourns her death
Till his cant live no more
So he drove a car with bombs
Thru the green zone door

There are good and evil
And we know what evil do
But when the good do the same
Then who is better than who

The lives of the innocent
Are being taken by both sides
And today there was a butterfly
Who will no longer flies?

Point of view

I,my eye,saw a good man doing some thing evil,
out of love...
i saw a "big bad man" give food to his family..
selling drugs...selling drugs
and when he got arrested all his daughter really wanted
was to give a hug...give a hug
"mr.goodguy" bought a gun and started acting like a thug...kinda like a thug
*sirens*
dang...bang,bang
a rookie cop noticed they were both the same "maine",man...
put his mug shot all in the news, and the networks...
got 25 views...
the judge said "who is this young man to you?"
his daughter screamed out "let me go,thats my daddy"
"rookie cop" mumbled,"bastered..almost had me"
they threw the book at him while he took "the time",sadly

amen??

Frisky Dandy Lion

Let the air fill your vocal sounds
Be enlightened by a gospel, energized choir
You are the main event
Brazening with glamorous features
How lucky could you be?

I seek not to hunt you down...heartless of your beauty
Your hoarse growling is replaced by a heartening melody
Appeasing to your malcontent hunger

Though your bones are fit enough to fight...
There's a possibility you could be a bending stem

I don't mean to hunt down your gracefulness and your brazening pride

Don't turn against me...refrain from being inappropriate in your tensing growl
Thrilled by denied consequences

I seek not to hunt you down...heartless of your beauty
Your hoarse growling is replaced by a heartening melody
Appeasing to your malcontent hunger

Pluck the dandelions and weeds in the Garden of Eden
So you can seek growth and maturity
Meandering around, trying to find the faceless truth
I could sense your controlled hunger

Snatching me in alarm
Meaning no harm...you are a cooperative, cheerful charm
Don't give away this edification...
Except it and don't lose it at all
Burn down
The resistible temptations
Slightly crawling their way
Out of drilling fears

I don't mean to hunt down your gracefulness and your brazening pride

I don't want to be sprawled in your clashing, fist-shaped paws
Snatching me with a hook and I'm the victim who is lifeless-- the fish

Could you recall your dandelion, carrion life dragging you to deeper trouble
Don't hide yourself in desperation, you dandy, enlightening lion
Strengthening your courteous and courageous thrills
Filled with pride and contentment

Don't lack humbleness, I see your avarice, heartless auras
Be the thriving, main event
Create a courageous scene just for curiosity

Keep yourself stable
Reflect your will on a clear, glass table
Meander your troublesome ways
Be a cooperative soul to your endeavors
Full of heartening compliments

Bring this ticket to heaven's heights
Uplifting to your scorching, motionless fate
Running off like a withering dandelion without pedals
Still staying cooperative with the rhythm of the wind
You are still considered
My dandy lion sent from heaven's heights

Pluck the dandelions and weeds in the Garden of Eden
So you can seek growth and maturity

I seek not to hunt you down...heartless of your beauty
Your hoarse growling is replaced by a heartening melody
Appeasing to your malcontent hunger

I hope you could reach your paws to heaven's heights
Where safety is freely given
To a hungry, pleasurable kitten

Look To The Sea

With waves crashing to my feet repeat in timeless cavity;

Stranded through its idle pull in our ellaborate flames...
Shallow pools in its left over residue plain yet what to do?
Still,
Look to the sea...

Onto a far off distance after she would marry me
Let all evil now flee,
The turning of the dial in its exquisite source
Look to the sea,

A waves tumbling then what to believe
A grand fulfillment in what to achieve;
In long lines we will find,
A tollerance for truth yet one drop of a dime

In time we can come to a reason for while we are alive?
Look to the sea a reason to believe,
What have we achieved?

Our fallen economy collapsed at its seams!
Scream
Through the notion of laughter a tear drop fell
Amidst the excursion an inner swell

We look deep through the pyramids amidst its timeless cavity...
Look to the sea lest I refrain amidst a traverse glue hero's are game
A line drawn in the sand,
When will we ever understand?

Torture Within

There is a dividing line between the chasm fault

Some are eager & content to appear righteous yet
They are only fooling themselves through a dance
One in twain marked on its blotted page yet fully intact
Working too hard can give anyone a heart attack

Lines have been drawn in the sand
When will we ever understand?
The visible from the invisible yet now were caught in the middle
Some our eager and content in playin second fiddle?

Clearer heads have prevailed yet

There is still known torture from within my friend
One will take the time out to listen
A sign of grace spread out upon a peyton place
Circumstances all for second glances?

Yet the heart from within will surface again

Fought back the tears with a smile still to know all the great while
A pen on a paper a stereo to caper
Me & Eric b & a nice cool plate of fish
Sorry to have missed its waiting bliss

In agony we will begin to see
A misfortune to a heightened reality as a key
Soaring ever higher then ever before reaching great heights
Shattered fragments on the pavement floor

Some are eager & caught in vice
perhaps another chance or a roll of the dice?

2nd Half of Billy's Ride

He had vowed to pay a visit
When he said good-bye to eight
On this date of June the second
 Perfect time to celebrate

Picked wild flowers in the thicket
 Made a circular bouquet
Placed them down across the headstone
Of the boy who bore his name

As he stood there he felt joyful
 Certain Billy was with God
 For no youngster suffered satan
When his flesh returned to sod

Then, he thought about his grandpa
 Who had died at sixty-eight
He recalled him as a good man
But he wondered, "Was Gramps saved?"

 Billy started feeling lonely
Thought, "It makes no sense to me
Why a young child gets free passage
 Into God's eternity

"If I grow up feeling faithless
 Must I pay forevermore
 That's a risk that's not worth taking
Maybe I should close the door"

He climbed back aboard his three-speed
 Pedaled out onto Route Five
Saw a semi coming toward him
One quick turn could end his life

He felt sorry for his parents
All the grief his death would cause
 Then he thought about forever
They were saved, he might get lost

When the truck had almost reached him
He veered sharply in its path
And he closed his eyes and waited
 For the bloody aftermath

But he never heard a crash
 Instead...

 He was sitting in Demato's
With a Nehi on a tray
But they wouldn't take his money
For his drink, or birthday cake

 So for little Billy Edwards
 A new chapter had begun
No more sweating out his future
Childhood was a time for fun

He believed all of his loved ones
 Would re-gather one fine day
In a place none could imagine
 Well beyond the Milky Way

Where he'd meet the other Billy
 Learn the answers one-by-one
Why his was the only gravesite
And why he had died so young

And as Bill grew slowly older
 He convinced a goodly lot
 That we didn't merely happen
 But Somebody called the shot

Memories

Sitting there in utter emptiness,
I stare ahead in amazement,
At the remnants of a place,
Filled with memories of a glorious past.
And as i stand there all alone,
Past Memories flood into me,
Stepping back on the stones of time,
Back to a time when life was wild and free.

There as i stand amidst it all,
I see my old class come back alive.
So many familiar faces,
Smiling back at me,
And shouting cries of welcome.
I see all my old friends,
Some going about their daily business while others gossip.
And there among them i see myself as i used to be,
Laughing and joking around so carefree,
Knowing not what the future holds.

Standing there engulfed in my past
Seeing so many happy faces,
Of those whom i held dear to my heart,
I shed tear in pain, which trickles down my face and falls on to my palm.
Realization flows back to me once more,
The pain of it all embracing me,
Like a Venomous Sting,
That penetrates my veins,
Darkening the depths of my heart
Where my memories lay,
Locked up for evermore.

Not Done With You Yet

Waiting for a response
Stumbling upon it for months
Fiddling with decaying words
Unlocking birdcages,
Letting go of birds
Will I ever be let go
By troublesome guilt,
Fluttering and squealing with joy?
Waiting for an entrance
I try to break through it for years
But I'm shattered by denied words
I'm trying to find a path to go through
But...I'm trapped by the thought of you

MY SQUALID JOURNEY TO A CERTAIN PARADISE

So morose and so lonely my sordid path is
lost in all this colossal wreck
a beauty spot in all this, that which mar the facet of earth

so destitute the walks of my path, with footsteps traced back
by the lingering stench of ancient fossils and putrid flesh,
the essence of life spelt from wars fought for the affairs of the heart
for love and hate

yet still the sound of tramping dost my life compose
for since this world I first eyed with wariness and upon my knees
i preyed upon my foes, crawling and stalking the shadows
away from this world that saw the babe's innocents
as something to impugn

stalked away from the eyes of the whole tumult
for no such rancorous ways ever beget acquiescence
nor do I seek merit in the eyes of scorn let alone
A life in the wombs of demise.

The Secrets of the Night

The sun has fallen, the moon has risen. The monsters that lurk, are finally out to play. Children fast asleep, as the mosnters start to peek. At night, when you feel like you're being watched, it's the monsters, in your closet, under your bed. Why do they prey this way? Because it's easier, they say.

6/30/06

As I sit on the kitchen counter, I
eat my cereal. Savoring every crunch
I watch the phone and wait for it to ring
waiting for someone to call, even a perfect
stranger. Even a perfect stranger. Trust someone
to talk to. Someone to share what's going wrong. My
heart beats with pain. The blood runs cold but hot with
anger. I wish to scream at the top of my lungs and release
the agony, But must stay quite as a mouse. I keep to myself.
My hopes that are false and my dreams that will never come true.
I'm lost in my own mind and train of thoughts filled with worries that
can never be told and cries that can never be heard. Smiles are shown
but never true. Every promise is made is another broken wish. Every word
you say is nothing but stalling pain. Sadness is the most feeling felt. It wears
like a sweater on a hot summer day. You just want to rip it off and throw it on
the ground. I must question everything more now than ever. I sit in a white chair
in a white room. I love this room. It reminds me of purity, a free soul. Anything you
dream can come true. If you dream hard enough and wish upon the right star. I walk
around the rest of this seven room house and I am reminded back to reality of cries and
lies, the tears and the fears. Back into a world of having to win. When smiles are rare to see
and I love yous are no longer from the heart. Gazing out the window, I have come to known
that this world is made up of men who want sex and money, women that dance in videos to
make a dime. Young boys hustling and ladies walking the corners. Church crowds have gotten
smaller and cults have grown. I look back in the mirror reflect. Recently I've made bad
decisions that just aren't me. I remise about the past and realize that it's time to let
go. That it's my path and I'm on my own. A struggle it will be, but a blade where
I can not depend. Sorry to my sharp little friend but I hope we never have to
meet again

Living Her Life

She sees the pains,
Which her native folk have gained.
She changed from a little girl
To someone who has always had the potential
To change her own little personal inner world.
As a child she never went through
What some other children of her people
Had went through themselves.

She used to never knew how the roots
Of all her people’s issues
Were and are so controversial.
Blessed was she, as a very young child,
For not knowing fully all the reasons why.

Blessed that she is and will always be
Full of feeling, and always quietly wondering “Why?”,
Now she is filled with new knowledge and a developing sense of wisdom
Within her own individual mind.
She is now what she had always
Envisioned and imagined before, since her elementary days.
She is (“I am...”) not entirely that same little girl anymore.
She is now one of the many of that particular kind.

Within her imagination is a longed
Wanting of finally revealing
The truths she has discovered and
How her people must change for the better.
Throughout her whole life, which she’s lived through so far,
She maintains a heart filled with feelings,
A mind filled with knowledge
And a slight emotional immaturity as representation
That her inner child self is still alive on the inside.

Her inner and past child self (who was different from all the rest,
But was also similar to them when at their best).
Never truly knew how far she’d come in life.
(As of right now and forever into the future)
How she has grown and maintained herself
Is how she had made that (her) inner voice in her head and
Had also long ago already acknowledged her true self.

She still stands in her own believing faith and faith in herself
And her lack of prejudice is what makes her naive thinking
Make her own days in her life far brighter than what others say
As they discourage her from doing
Or trying to pursue something grand and part of a divine plan.
Even after times and tribulations involving doubting tremble.

Blessed she is for being so whole in her own presumed thoughts,
Blessed she is for logical thinking based on emotion and feelings.
Blessed she will always be, for Christ himself said to a woman
(who was suffering from something for more than 12 years),
“Your faith is what made you whole.”
Now she thinks...
“Grateful and blessed I am, to the point of tears of joy and sorrow of how I used to doubt.
I now forever know what my life will be like beyond tomorrow.”

Dying Dreams

The young dream their dreams away at night

Hoping they come true

A doctor, policemen, veterinarian and other dreams are developed by the young

Too naive to understand the ways of the world

Determined as ever to achieve their dreams

The old regret the dreams they could never accomplish

They had dreams but unknowingly never came true

You go from living a world full of dreams

To living the reality that is life

Why do we let our dreams die

We were so excited as young kids

At the foot step of our dreams

Were we haunted by the mountain we had to climb

To make our dreams come true

Did we simply quit

Because of society’s pressure

Did money deter our dreams away while we slept at night

Did we let doubt creepy into our hearts

Silently killing all of our dreams without realizing it

Why do dreams die so quickly

When we spent years of our youth

Hoping that we could get an opportunity

To make them come true

Dream big, chase your dreams and never let them die

These gentle clouds move without hesitation over the glow of my understanding. Watching
without eyes listening without ears they dance to the song of the humble breeze. Elegant

painting a masterpiece with there luminous wings. As I lay here forgeting time I watch this
beauty and learn to appreciate but never do I desacrate my friend's true work of art. Sweet

Nickel Children

Poem about Sudbury, Ontario, Canada

All the nickel children
are playing on the rocks.
Girls exchanging numbers
and boys exchanging knocks.

Some are picking blueberries.
Some play in the moss.
Some are throwing grass bombs
as far as they can toss.

All the nickel children
are playing on the rocks.
All around a nickel
we made so that it shocks.

my dark thoughts

is it a waking dream?
no,
is it a waking nightmare?
no,
it be the thoughts of the deserted,
those who have nothing left to lose,
the ones who can go mute without a second thought,
the ones whose dreams overflow with the blood of others,
for they are the ones who see the sinister truth,
the end isn't near its always been there,
every year,
every month,
every day,
every minute,
every second,
for you see the end is not when the world ends,
it is the last day you feel complete,
it is the day you feel worthless,
the day you see only the dark side of things,
the moment you imagine slaying the beast of which caused your pain,
for that is the day the innocence known as your "inner child" is finally slaughtered,
and when your become...,

The Vengeance of Hatred

up and down feelings
floor to the ceiling
big and the small
or barely at all
jumble of thoughts
build up like a compost
all of the utmost
useless importance

String me along for days
like ever present
unaware essence
of the magical sun's
scorching lashing out r
shooting through the vacant space
only one destination
like a certain pinpoint revelation

Stabbing back
we surprise attack
the only shock
comes to me as an afterthought...

I hold in the hatred
until it becomes sacred
I inhale the passion
nothing more natural
than my outward reaction
addition through the simplest subtraction
the hate is so hard to replace
what is left to drive me
the anger inside me

I am here because of my rage
brought me to the brink of breakage
just when the point is revealed naked
it disappears, retreating through the hatred

Where is it hiding?
I miss the surge
burning into my every word
the last I remember
I was misplaced, self centered
when the source was discovered
a curious love entered
and drove out the negative
edited and erased

Billy Edward's Ride 1st Half

\

Hopped out early from his bunk bed
Jumped into his old blue jeans
Slipped his hand into his pocket
Found enough change for a drink

Put his tennie to the kickstand
 Hopped aboard his three-speed bike
 Smiled in great anticipation
 Drew a breath of summertime

Strapped his helmet to his noggin
 Heading on a morning ride
He had reason to be smiling
Now that this day had arrived

 Billy rode along the asphalt
Like a bird he felt so free
No more classrooms, no more homework
School was out for twelve whole weeks

 He cruised past Demato's grocery
 An old stucco painted white
Where good gossip was the staple
 Soft-boiled peanuts on the side

Heard some geese honk from the mill pond
Saw a yearling near the pass
Billy eased off on the pedals
Trying to make the moment last

 Sunlight gently swept across him
O'er the treeline at the rise
 Fragrant honeysuckle blossomed
In the holler near Route Five

 And he wondered about Heaven
Could it be as nice as this
He was sure of one thing nicer
His dear grandpa whom he missed

 As miles disappeared behind him
And his thirst began to build
He had one more place to visit
For his trip to be fulfilled

Soon he reached the Tower Toll Bridge
Though no toll was ever paid
 Inside joke by the designers
Built for one car, either way

In the distance he could see it
A lone tombstone on a grave
The old church that stood beside it
 Had a century's decay

 He dismounted at the entrance
 And approached the ancient sign
All it said was Billy Edwards
 Born in eighteen-fifty-nine

Date of death gone to erosion
But his age was given - eight
And the last time Billy came here
Both their ages were the same

For a full year he had worried
If he'd die within that time
Just the same as Billy Edwards
 Now he had some peace-of-mind

SEPTEMBER 1922

September 1922

A woman is standing in front of a ship.
Into her bloody hands she holds her daughter and her son.
Their faces have lost the youth, terror has formed creases round their eyes.
Eyes lost.Behind them flames are spreading like dragons' tangues
leaving ashes on the wind on the waves of the sea,
on the hands of those who died.Soldiers running barefooted
passing the crossline a path they did not choose.
Heroes who carried dust and fired blood
and fired pain. The two little children are looking at their house.
What is left now is flaming wood fading lights dying away.
On the garden there is still the girl's doll with her cloth hands
her eyes filled with gloom as if she still waits for an answer.
The woman's hands are trembling. This is the last ship.
Screams, cries, pushes people in the water,
people on the ground trying to find a small bend to fit their carved souls.
Guns are firing a soldier gets killed in front of the boys legs.
Waves get rough, cover the port cover all eyes with salt
uncover the truth of not forgetting.A hand is pulling the woman
and the children on the ship.A last move , a passing to unknown
with a coin on her mouth to pay the price of her transfer.
Smyrna is burning like a star is falling on the ground.
Million lights in the sky light up a drama of lost souls.
Broken terrors of a life never to be restored passing to the other side
with hands empty eyes closed.

To those who lost their country in September 1922.

When I Grow UP

I want to be an Actor, My shyness has hampered me thus far
My Credentials however are worth looking at a STAR
To this day I remember my lines in the 6th Grade Play “King Lear”
“LOOK!! There He is now." For those of YOU who are not Actors
Please; It’s not as easy as it Looks, for instance it took nine weeks
To Perfect the Emotion it took to convey this simple Line
Take One : “LOOK THERE!! He is now, teacher ask What is Now
Take Two : “LOOK!! There he is, NOW, teacher “Is the Castle in shambles”
Take Three : look there HE IS now, teacher “What was he before
So when the day comes that a Great Producer picks up that 6th grade Program
I will speak my POETRY to YOU on the Silver Screen, no, Autographs until
                                                 The Sequel

Look To The Sea

With waves crashing to my feet repeat in timeless cavity;

A grand fulfillment in what to achieve;

Babies of Beslan

Babies of Beslan............

The darkest day in history,
Brought tears to my eyes.
Many Russians murdered,
In a mass of horrid cries.

Hundreds of innocent people,
Seen fleeing through the streets.
Bodies thrown onto the verge,
In a sea of blood-stained sheets.

So many kept within a school,
Being held against their will.
Suicide bombers with booby traps,
That care not who they kill.

An act by Chechen rebels,
Seeking freedom for their kin.
With scenes of utter carnage,
From those terrorists within.

Semi-naked children,
Seen running through the street.
The Chechen rebels in the school,
Shooting at their feet.

Bombs and bullets filled the air,
As the smoke engulfed the skies.
People running from the school,
With terror stricken eyes.

Such barbaric bloody actions,
Brought death and undue pain.
The heart of the Beslan community,
Won't see their like again.

May the Lord our God watch over you,
May he guide you by his light.
May he hold you in his arms again,
And keep you safe tonight...........

In memory of the children and teachers of the Beslan school massacre.

Murder of the innocent

Murder of the innocent.............

One door opens, as another door shuts,
Drugs, knives, coppers, over dressed sluts.
Colours worn, weapons in hand,
Children dying in a blood tainted land.

No more hatred, no weapons to yield,
No more coffins in a mud sodden field.
Hatred now gone, no more youngsters to die,
No need for anger at the places they lie.

When the door opens, the door opens wide,
No more denying, no places to hide.
No time for distance, no walking away,
No children dying, no murders today.........

In memory of the victims of the British culture of knife crime.

MY MUSIC

Need we wake up naked the sacred hour of dawn,

to dance to the songs of our fore fathers

In the sacred garden of old .

Need we from the setting rise ,and kiss in the moment the deepest desire of men

An existence beyond and void of time .

A small taste of eternity till the awakening of the phoenix, the golden dawn .

Need we wake up the sacred golden moment in dawn, stunned to silence

As he with practiced easy, gleaming with talent pull string for string ,David the bard with no equal

pulling his strings on the harp merging and pleasing to creation ,a secret set of chords he had

and with the chords his harp reflecting the goodness in his soul ,shunning the ghouls that haunted his king

singing:

Should we wake up naked the sacred hour of dawn to dance to the songs of our forefathers in the sacred garden of eden .

should we wake up at the rise, and from the setting to the dawn dwell in a land eons & eons long enstranged,

to be glad, rejoice and dance to the beats and chants of the drums as the psalm of the ancients is renewed ,

to move with the beat of the universe in its harmonious daze .

to remember the dances of old, performed around a bonfire in a thousand forgotten barbaric gestures .

Our tongue's as of fire we chant the song of languages .

bleeding it out of our deepest

holding none but letting go.

Sleepy Deadlines

For Santa...

So much goodwill and dedication
Hard work through the ages
Unnoticed sweat drop jubilations
Dusted most on gathered pages
Rocking chair of velvet comfort
Snowy beard with wishful cheer
Hearty smiles of flavored butter
Candy striped in scent sincere
Elves and reindeer all assisting
Snowstorm nights in huge demand
Graceful lights go out in blisters
Twinkled trails of stars and wand
Braving the cold around the globe
Soaring balloon and bundle of joy
Red and black to hide the old
Yet meekly essenced little boy
Melting in the youthful hopes
While filling up on expectations
Golden slay bells, white trimmed coat
Sharing the peace of spirit elation
Spread to those who stay awake
Attached to sleepless hands up North
To polish dreams for children’s sake
Relentlessly they venture forth
Down soot filled chimneys old and new
With aches in back that’s past its prime
And this you always manage to do
Before the running out of time
But you’re rewarded now and then
You find the X on treasured map
On countless roofs from way back when
Cradled to sleep on angel’s lap

Dreams' depth

Dream depth

Dreams are the Leatherback tortoises
lazing across the Caribbean’s;
the blue water and columns of sun.
dreams have seen the ruins,
the pieces of lost cities, Atlantis; buried.
Dreams have touched the fossilized white bones
of a father, a fisherman, who sunk.

The boy wakes up, runs on bare feet
towards the shore where his dreams are.

My Pa

Had a dream about my Pa tonight, We all went out with them to Lake Loral Nancy His wife cooking up a good ol' Chicken Pot Stew slow-cooked set way up high atop the hickory us loading up the Bayliner for our afternoon fishing trip. We reminisced, Canoe in toe as we used to do just in case, yes just as we did back then; you-know if either would wished to float to one or more sides with the Canoe tied to the railings of the boat, or more or less to widen the chance at a greater spot to cast a gander upon our luck... . My Father by adoption; having-stated many times early on in-all of our teenier all together, God being-in-charge of all good-Blessings and if-you will--luck... we'll always catch some albeit one Yes I began to see through this statement he mentioned often God is always presenting always providing this-His Honest Hope, for us both--as I believe like my Pa, for any one yes everyone who is patient remains-open... ! Our woes, and Peace abiding... uncertainty grievances questions yes laughter were our main recollections as we dropped our first lines as we cast them... . I tell you I truly did love Him, still love Him, will always I figure... yes I know Some folk are so defined never wish to grow any further their Character divorced by Cancer, Nary did my Father allow it. On the day he passed He told Nancy, "I love my life. My Family Children. Love all those close to me.... but I'm tiered just plain wore out." the Lord took Him that night, the next day forthcoming I was told and O how I cried — But then realized as I saw he lived the greater life - He worked on this purpose until the day he died, and so for all he work for this final reprieve — it was for all of the ones he loved, because I feel for all whom he loved, he'd prayed for all to do the same... Yes a suffering in kind the same I'm seeing now - All-of-it I'm-finding; because he taught me the greater of his Faith nary a day apart from Him, and me... his youngest Son two Others older Sons if you will, yes I feel his family and friends still have this eminent belief to boast; Yes, in-the Company--Comfort... of Jesus' Peace... !

Another life "My old friends"

If it's true, and there's another life
That waits beyond our journey's end
I'll hold a place within my heart
And a rocking chair for my old friends
To sit beside a fire at night
And talk about, the stories of another time
Or dream about what might have been,
But either way I wouldn't change
The path that led to my old friends

And if there is another life
I'll wait for you with open arms
Beneath the moonlit sky at night
I'll reminisce and count the stars
Which never fails to take my breath
Each moment when I think of you
And know again I'll see your face
That shines within the summer sun
Or glows within the winter moon

That's seen so many journeys end
With hopes of such a special place
Where friends are never left behind
And faces never fade away
Through time, if there's another life
Old friends would come
And there they'll stay
And bring another rocking chair
For those who pass this way

Belonging

After the break up when they split
a sense of loss, fear, anger and pain.

A father doing is best
a older sister who beacame insane

No sense of belonging a longing for a place to call my own, to call a home.

A mother dealing with her own grief
listening to their arguing, moaning.

No rules or boundaries. Seeing things a child shoudn't see
Insomnia kicks in due to anxiety

No sense of belonging a longing for a place to call my own, to call ahome.

So she got wed but again instead was lost in translation, no love or jubilation
A man who cared, yet others who judged

So after all theses years through the tears I finally have a place to call my own.
Where One can be themselves and feel at peace.

No swaaering or shouting. Just my place to belong.

Vulture'sDarkness

Vulture's Of Darkness

Vile thought fangs waiting in vengence etched within

A twilight sun had tainted my inner vision again ?

Shattered fragments torn in desolation vanquished within
Vile degrade filled sweat pouring out in sharp contrast fetched;
Contrast...
In a caged fury proned to live yet not willing to forgive?

In such a Christless society having abortion on demand?
Hoping someday that all will truly understand the implications?
Heightened fears & worry of the day I prey;
Saturated with light with the willing hope by which to stay/

Images filled with braided women's hair in derision/

The fragments our collectively enhanced for its chosen dance

If they listen they will come;

Shattered fragments all in gloom/

Shelter lies dormant onto its beckoning call asunder Instead they push God aside with
walls to hide in pursuit of pleasure ever more
enhanced!

The prepare for the dance;

Primal decadence shaded briars to hide the eternal pain from within
Burdened soul in bondage within a cavity tooth in hue decayed form
Burdened soul in elapsed bondage with cavity in hue
Desolation & myraid temptess with gun for hire!

Vultures of darkness ate the crumbs you left
Got no place yet to retrace your steps
Lead it to me I'll take you home
Vanquished
For a real desire for more/
Yet for what I do not know?
Out in darkness one can negate to shine a visible light
In sadness sought to give up on the fight curse the night/
In sadness sought to give up on the fight
Still truth still negates the lie
The lie that says I am what I do ?
Some may even have bitten way more then they can actually chew?
Truth is turned to rubble strong
Out of words spoken in the dark it won't be long
Truth still negates the actual lie
Fear is constant source of will to triumph
Truth is strong rubble stregnth with legs to walk
Out of clear worrds spoken in the dark to light
Truth negates the lie
Amidst the sadness running circles in my fragile egg shelled brain
Patterns of worry lest of course I shall refrain a distant fervor
Fragments of weary traveler's embraced by sight in sunlight
Particles of dust although fluent from its eternal myraid pillage sought
Particles of dust although fluent from it's sought after cud
Truth in the end will save a weary soul in unrest
Let it go & turn it over to a higher source
The one who chose the one who gave his life to you
Just leave to him he'll take you home
Vulture's of darkness on a weary process
Strong in violence within viscious long hanging fangs that bite in the night !

Mine Youth of Dreams

Mine Youth of Dreams

By John Evans

Poetry that changed my heart –

Words of a metaphorical new start,

To swim thy depths of a thirsty soul,

And find thy spirit, now of whole.

Inebriated by mine childhood stare,

Of a Piney scent from a light summer air,

Though risk thy nights of a bitter cold,

Thy foreign lands share what’s told;

A forest lake of starry dreams,

Tell me more of thy long, sap filled and tallest trees –

Thy heavens are with every meadow breeze,

And with thy start from thy new dawn of man,

Hints of every query sent forth to make a stand,

Amongst thy great cathedrals of thy woods,

My God, my God, to stand naked before thee of earth and stone,

To give you thanks and praise, a child of nature, quite not alone;

For in this giving you know mine good,

And through Thy giving I knew Thou would!

Collaborating in the clouds- Gods Hold

If Gods favorite hero suddenly became cold,
Lonely, disoriented, unhappy with sorrows untold,
Would it be of interest in Heaven? Concerns of man,
Would our saviors come to Earth to be born again?

God would send out his best hands to hold,
Would he set backwards time to where all heroes spirits were sold.

If only our love could behold
Lined with twine of silver wrapped in gold
Gifts to to God to wash our sin
   Equipped pillars stories told

Thoughts about God mirrors my pen

Opening up was the best thing I could have ever did
All those things that made me & embarrassed me as a kid
You never looked at me different because my past was shameful
Talked to you about some of the things in my life that we’re still painful
I am human, filled with emotions and lots of anger
Hate filled my heart to the point I wanted to lock it in a chamber
How I feel is as real and emotional as it gets
Stress consumed me for years, felt like I needed a cigarette
Needless to say the battle has been done
I’m still standing and breathing so I must have won
The ultimate prize of keeping my sanity and myself free
Love the fact my past is so messed up… It really made me
You I give the ultimate credit for finding my inner voice
Felt like with you I have to write, it really leaves me no choice
I am a woman, blemished, flawed and tortured by life
Invisible wounds on my heart from being cut by life’s knife
But still I stand and hold my head up High
I only have one life and I refuse to give up and Die
I am woman, lover, and loyal friend till this life takes me away
I only wish I could have told you all the things I wanted to say
I understand that people are placed in life for all types of reasons
With you I guess it was only meant for a season
Learned a lot about myself with the help of you
You embraced me with ease and had no clue
Life had killed me, left me emotionally dead
Then I met you, felt like the best thing I never had
The make up of me is so complex, guarded & sad
I’m learning to let go of it all, no more hanging on to the past
All those people that did wrong by me can officially get a rash
Living for me now so I gives no care how you feel
This is me, uncut, uncensored… I feel the need to be real
No longer taking my past and feeling sorry for how it was
Living life to the fullest… Just like everyone else does
Don’t feel sorry for me I am no longer a victim, I’m Free
Just letting the world know I am no longer ashamed of being me
The mirror I used to run from I now embrace
The hate that was once in my heart has now been replaced
That frown that I always wore because if hurt to smile
I keep this smile permanently embedded and it’s going to be here for a while
I am no longer sad…. I’m so focused on my life and moving forward
Carrying all that hate and anger around was such a burden
Free..Free.. Free from life’s tortures and Pain
Standing on my own two feet with a smile is how I will remain

What A Fine Day

It feels like today
is falling into place
when I determine your face
It is bright…
A touch of light
is shone
as glorious as the sun
Then I slip on my own face

What a fine day
I’m not ashamed to say it
It’s a perfect occasion to say it

I can’t believe it’s happening
so abruptly,
intruding a long,
fatigued day

I’m just rolling along
Beside the ocean
Behind the mountains

Lift up my lowly spirits
Laughing maniacally
like a freaky clown

This fine day…
Soon withers away
with murky clouds
turning my smile
into a frown

singing tenderly
a most calming rhythm
sending dismay
in my urbanized bones

Hiking…climbing
on vast mountains
caught in the tone
of my withering voice
and it’s about time I rejoice
better than earning a fortune
the way I sing that tune
will flip the day like a dime
revolving the night to day
echoing the same tune
like a lullaby

The time is coming soon
What a fine day
I’m not ashamed to say it
It’s a perfect occasion to say it

I can’t believe it’s happening,
but I must roam
home and sparkle
my duty
and fulfill
My fine day
no more dismay

Fishing Worms For My Father

I think I'll go dig up a bucket of worms for the day
I'll go out back where me and the dog play

After I am done,
I will put the worms out of the sun

And I'll talk to my dad
To see if any fishing could be had

For supper we can have fish on our plate

A Gravitational Pull

Stone upon the water front/
Next to the cashmere pillow,
The pier near the gallow shore/
A man began to speak,

Within this land there shall be no way out accept I tax,
This gravitational pull may bring some down,
Yet if you stay and listen very carefully/
You will live through this time and be very happy !

Many of you have become lazy in the manner of laws,
A decree will be summoned to let us know/
The waiting may be hard to comprehend,
Yet within time you can grow to depend/

The fat of the land,
Let this man take you by the hand/
There can be no further excuses or escape,
The way will depend upon the hearer's !

Shadow Man

Shadow Man

You can move from
room to room,
House to house,
Or state to state.

Wherever you zoom off to,
His shadow will always be
There to haunt you.

He wants to touch you,
In a very private way,
How long can you stay?
Away from his icy touch?

You can't even
eat lunch
In a diner,
Without him sitting
In a booth beside you.

He's tall and thin
With a long black overcoat
And a dark top hat on.

You can't avoid
His eyes,
Because all you
See is black
When you look
At his face,
While he's hovering
Over your bed
Atnight.

Don't forget
To turn your
Night light on,
Maybe tonight
You’ll recognize
His face.

One thing is
Sure to happen,
He’ll be sharing
Your space
With you
As soon as
Your head hits
Your lace pillowcase.

Let's hope he
Doesn’t reach
Out to trace your
Face with his
Pointy fingernail.

A Womans Touch

The gates of hell have been violently open. The world begins to rumble and scatter in fear. Earth’s volcanoes spew magma and ash from its core. The clouds quickly gather as the thunder and lightning signal the wrath to come. Earth’s crust opens its mouth ready to swallow cities and nation’s whole. Suddenly a white and peaceful light emerges from the horizon. This elegant and stunning figure seems not all frightened by all the chaos. She gingerly kisses and hugs the tormented man. All of this madness was inside the man’s mind. The stress and pressure of life almost got to the man. Drugs and alcohol never gave him relief but all it took was a woman’s touch.

Shadows Reflections

Dimness showers over the whole time
It's time... to leave
It's time... to believe
I am gone...I am left behind
only to find
your shadows...shaded beneath
you are gone....destined to die
I was there once upon a time,
lying in despair...looking up at the beautiful sky
only to say my last goodbye
to your
shadows...
it shows your sickening reflections
it shows
your tear-jerking rejections
dimness shows in your face
I can't keep pace...I can't find a place...
to rest...I'm trying my best
to forget your
shadows...reflections
I lay in darkness
drenched in tears that only reflect your reflections...
your sorrow beckons
I chase after
your shadows...your reflections...
I said my last goodbye

Can you accept it?
Or would you do me a favor,
and find another place to
recollect yourself?

Many good memories darken
As the shadows of loneliness and inner pain settle in.
Repeatful mistakes coming along with revolutionary lessons,
Increasing inner strength each day.
Secretly crying in the night,
Simply killing the sadness in pure daylight,
Aspiring to be an amazing inspiration to all nations.

Planning constantly,
Always achieving all she can.
Interpreteting her dreams and sign,
Gaining as much knowledge and wisdom as she can,
Elevating to the next level.

Flaming strong spirit, so warm,
Accumulating fiery soul,
Rushing through the cold.
Innerly fighting, courageously,
Eagerly hoping all her struggling will be worth it.
She will never officially give up...

Can Their

Can their be a heaven while your in my Hell?

Can their be a chorus in waiting through smell?
Can their be a flicker of hesitation amidst the pain?
Can their be any silence lest of course I refrain;
A window with children outside playing a game,

A shoulder to cry out in the pouring rain...
The silence;
Amidst a shadow torn in shutters peak,
Something to taunt though even the weak?

Can their be a host of angels in disguise?
To hide behind the inner pain of falsehood & compromise;
Chased dreams from your hair my pretty child prove the day/
Out of sadness nestled in the mere fabric of desolation

Provoked to tears will feed all fears divorced for many years.,
In pillage turned to dust,
Can their be gold in them hills
Now whom do you trust?

Can their be an alternative out of heaven & Hell.,
Today, I have a great story to tell,
Out of sadness a slight bitterness;
Shades of pain leading to its demise in torment
Shades of trees polished amidst its brightened decorum
Eternity

Can their be ?

then she woke up and the sound she heard was just the rain outside her window.

Their Eyes

They are a prize
To encounter or find
When chance gives you their eyes
You can glance at a beautiful mind

They love without care
To any and all
Heart on their sleeves they wear
Bravery never to fall

Their laugh can light
Through a thousand years of pain
Giving hope for those who fight
For happiness and love to gain

Small as they may be
But just as strong
We give the world for them to see
For they’’ strive for what’s right and wrong.

Let's Be In A Relationship

So you can crush my hopes

Destroy my dreams

Puncture my heart

Murder my self esteem

Vaporize my personal confidence

Humiliate my ego

While throwing me into an abyss of self doubt

On the bright side

You will give me plenty of new material

To write about

I guess I should be in a relationship more often

I guess this is the life of a writer

Honesty

To be brutally honest with you

We stake our claim to fame
Among falling ambers with feathers for wings
Through a barrage of disgust & then,
For a fallen world in quite a rush

He knows that if he can control your thoughts

That in effect he can control your mind
At one time I could see yet today I'm totally blind
To be brutally honest with you
That effective fervor prayer of the righteous one

From such prayers availeth very much

To resist him will result in a flee

The bruised reed shaken in the wind
Although, Papa was a rolling stone;
He was never to be found very far from home
In matters of solace degree

To be brutally honest with you
A transformed hermit was once a slave
That fully claimed thread,
In noticable silent dread

Some engrafted in essential sought after fabrication

With silver streak to faintly prey on the weak
To be brutally honest with you
A slight of hand once delivered out of divination
In solemn mass to profess a vested proclamation

To be brutally honest with you !

You will see when you burn in hell, in the future near you'll see that I wasn't the one wrong, so don't try to be sincere. You think it's all about you, when the truth is no one wants anything to do with you. You've already over thought it all, and now you're all alone starring at the wall. I bet you realize now that the pain you feel you caused yourself. Within in all, comes the suffering of withdraw. All the pills that you've swallowed won't save your sorrow.

Vain

Broken skulls loose from its inner well of bondage

Carriage bells in its timely cottage,
Chased after the wind loose limbs
A puzzled look on the face of the man
Enter through the narrow gate time to live by faith,

Careless whisper on a sullen frown that's filled with poison
Cherished the lips with a smile torn in denial
Puzzled features midnight movie theatre;
To run in a race one must be disciplined within to win

To withstand the pain in a baracade innocent man
Virtual denial still we will know all the while
A crazed rat as in a village stripped in absurd fashion
The notion of a new season & down thin on rations

Through blinded eyes in bondage to the sin
Lest to where I need to once again begin again
Fragrance from within features by wisdom in its bargain
Shattered fragmentation of intense glue as in its imagination

Silenced by the papal pew in borrowed expectation
We draw lines in the sand & stand
Hopeful that someday all will understand
The skin on the face replaced by supernatural denial

A wild child
Vain!

Shooting Blanks

Just
In time corpse shine twilight sun had tainted my inner vision
Twisted
Shooting blanks at the rooster just supose another number feeling somber
Doesn't any wonder?
Torpedo
Torn,
The inclusion within vile pathetic outrage
Shooting blanks as busy as Tyra Banks in bikini eating linguini
Torpedo, remember Frank Serpico?
Frantic in Autumn looking brightly colored orange
In pivotal choices sense of remoseful inclusion
In dirty laundry vile smell who could tell
A window opens air will blow to breath in the steam,
Shouts of glory to untold story morning glory;
Shooting blanks getting lost in the shark tank
Dellusional
Insanity
Romantic interlude toward vanity
In tuned harmony to its hidden beasts menagerie
Shooting Blanks in the phone at the door

At the beach while Mrs. Polly eating a peach.

A BUTTERFLY SHOULD NEVER DIE

      A BUTTERFLY SHOULD NEVER DIE

I am without anything now that I’m not with you
And Lord knows I miss the taste of your smile
I miss a perfectly designed dream come true
Because you made mounting a mountain seem a mild mile

You gave me butterflies and lightning bugs as a gracious gift
Because of you the morning wasn’t agony anymore
It didn’t matter if I worked in the day or the midnight shift
When I returned you would be there with a smile at our door

Ain’t nobody’s business how deeply we loved one another
But they could tell in our eyes and the way we held hands
Ain’t nobody’s business how I loved you, not even my brother
While I kissed you under the elm tree in the peaceful place it now stands

When you used to approach me it would make my heart race
Now that I’m without you I want to know exactly why
And it’s difficult when I need to forget your emphatic embrace
So now you know from whence comes my woeful wish to die

At First I Thought

At first I thought the pain was brought on by the wounds I inflict.
But with every cut I knew.
With every cut I felt.
And with every cut I understood.
The pain is not brought on by the wound, for the pain has always been there.
Seeded by those who sought to hurt me.
And now I know, something much more.
Something that cant be told, but felt.
I’ll make them understand.
I’ll make them feel.
And when im done, they’ll wish they were dead.

Gleams Of Hope

Always feeling such inner hurt,
My heart just feels so insecure in the night.
But there is always a light
Guiding me through my lonely days.
Sometimes I find life so unfair,
Yet some days I don't really care...

Seems like I always try different ways to express my feelings
Then I start retrieving truths I possibly never wanted to hear
And then I break down spiritually.
I hide my negativity and believe I can make it through
On my own.

Thoughts from the dark
Leave me with a lonely soul.
Ready to take the toll
Of thoughts that merged into my mind.
On optimistic days I believe I have the potential
To be successful
And that all my lonely and stressful years
Will be worth going through.

"Everyone who wants to disappear,
Look inside
And search for the light that resides...
There you will find
That you must stay true to yourself,
And try your hardest to harness your dreams...
Because the sadness and darkness in your mind
Are only gleams of what you'll really find
(Hope is the key)..."

Silent Wars -2-

My screams are void
Throughout the circulation of this solid room
Distracted by the solemn night
Interrupted by blurred groans
Sincere in its integrity

Drums are beating,
eating away the deserted sanctuary
Echoes of cruel sounds mix together
as the wind formulates around an unavoidable night

Silent wars has awaken from its casket
Rising up to kidnap the faithful and discernment building up in the household
Kidnapping the love
Throwing away sincere awareness

I finally could utter a few questions to you...

Tell me...who wins?
Who has gone astray...missing forever?

I finally will tell you the distinguished truth

Frankly, my dear friend,
No one knows in silent wars

Heart

Struggles come amidst a sea of vibrant brutality

Amidst a flame lest I refrain a simple pedigree
The struggle within brings apart desertion
In quaint appease brought social proclamation
A true heart that's rich in the soul filled up with love

The sounds of heaven shortened fragmentation from above

In taunt to fear lining close through a variation in a dream
A pulled back swing through a love once enjoyed
How we passed the time in bridal tyes
Those weary eyes in fragrant appease

Heart controlled by emotional fervor
Heart combated by a deliberate answer
Heart amancipated with a delicate smile
Heart as a treasure that's nursed all the great while
Heart full asunder in delicate abode
Heart all adoring in its incredible load

One can negate the possibility of a life built on nothing less
The key to life is a heart saturated with truth thus in order to withstand the truest test
The less that you give your a taker;
Through life's tests in loom we will forever seal our vested tomb
In fragrant scent of appeal
The one to steal your joy & succeed
In mutual compromise throughout it's sore vex array of fragmentation
In delicate atmosphere through silence & warm pleasure
Heart to relinquish all the fiery darts of the wicked one

Heart soaring ever further into the sunset of my love
Heart in loose caged fervor yet tempered to its abode
Heart in saturated moments of timeless cue
Heart in anticipation cause it really doesn't know what to do ?

Goodbye and farewell

How do you do justice
to the moment of good bye?
Cradled in these bosom like hills.
Held and yet free.
Freedom that allowed me.

The beach walks after tough days.
Hard words like grains of sand,
gulped into lungs;
around which pearls grew.
Pearls I now treasure
and give out as wise, love words.

That sea salted air of home
cleansing young and open soul.
The rolling waves of truth washing over me:
me a mortal beheld
and beholden.

In your homes; my friends I knew love.
By candle light the healing balm.
And in your voices true melody:
healing wounds past;
holding wobbling hearts fast.

The warmth of cups of tea,
made with care; a glimpse of eternity
showing a hope,
and lovely humility;
Teaching a young heart;
whispering love into the dark.

Those walks on hill and shore
silenced the voice of "are you sure?"
And the walks to the caverns in me,
knowing that I trod not alone.
Hugs;
suture in the hours of need.
Loving;
cutting between flesh and bone.

When Striding, stumbling and sitting.
When smiling, writhing and weeping.
We were together in love.
When the tears and blood flowed:
We were one.
How do you do justice
to the moment of goodbye?

Deceived

You can call a spade a spade

A darkened portal light in its timeless space;
Twice dead novice notion in his head...

The ascension out from chains filled with blood,
In sought after excursion magnified truth;
Hence the opened door as filtered through an illusion vamp
Branded chains unleashed with stagnant revelation,

Deceived...

Choices made in vile repute type greed;

Although a red rose was plucked a time ago,
In silent dellusion in thought filled its ego
Colorful decorated flowers absorbed in sweet fragrance in mercy
Within its pillage of sought after reflection still torn;

~

There is still no real substitute for the real you...

Many are still blind from this notion in thought;
The prince of the power of the air will soon fall!
Having an air of Godliness but denying its power,
We each can react to what is profitable or costly;

The given elements have been exposed by a given choice through exploits...

To negate with power will bring one to a tragic loss,
Deceived...
There will be one to soon rise forth;
A sense of burning flesh flowing in the wind;

The torn chasm of spilled blood out weighs the pen,

With fasks of flowing wine...
Rivers run through a great devide
Deceived
Still many go out to & fro...

People were made as an after thought to show,
Just so they can go serve other god's
The one's who can't talk & hearts fold asunder
Turning cases in its plunder

Deceived

A warning or timely adice for those down under!

Memorizing Song

as this song simulates something in my mind
something wrong, something goood.
something, that should have been gone.
as my thoughts crumble,
my walls fail
my sanity floats off.
i wonder how
why
when
i could jump and fall into air
and be safe into endless bliss
illl be singing my lungs out
with a beautiful sound
my feet will be keeping an impossible beat
that will drive anyone listening crazy
i dont feel like dying
but i feel like withering a way for a moment
into the walls
into the sky
into the ground.
i wish to be on top
im not worried how, but when.
and for what.
price.
as words, thoughts, ramblings,
spill out of my mouth like vomit
the song goes on.
my fingers move faster along the
l e t t e r s of my
concious
scary.
its all i have now.
ohp.
what happend.
the song stoped.
my minds back

The Love of The Untold

Things happen for a reason The reason is because it’s that time Mistakes happen for a reason The reason is so you can forgive The beginning was fun while it lasted But the ending is coming sooner than I thought I gave all I had but what did you give me It takes two to love, which means I need you So tell me what I’m gonna do without your love Can’t get enough even after all the bull I went through I still couldn’t get over you tried to find another to hold To show my love and affection but … I had to let them go all was in the head was you I go through hell to fight for you I just wish these girls would stop falling for you From Mya to Rihanna, hold up Let me guess who’s next a girl named Tiana What do I need? To be crowed with a tiara Just to be you princess You’ll love every hour The time has come for me to stop holding in And let these little girls know I’m #1 not #10 I’m not her and she is not I We’re two different people You just can’t see it through your own eyes I have my own unique things about me She’s just trying to take over you Our fairytale is over Yeah the one when true love dies Cause the stupid little boy wouldn’t open up his eyes My past and mistakes you hold against me From the things I do and what I say Wrong or right You fail me on this test I might just be put together as a mess But trust imma strive for the best Not for you, but the girls who gave up And where pushed from the dream by the rest This is for the girls who gave up on love The story of the untold..

The Love Poem of Hudson S Prufcock

I ponder poetry passively, as the clock ticks
You can bolt your door when the reaper knocks
But what if he’s a lock-smith?
We’re a nearly always a nation in debt,
Visa’s put credit card
Goblins under your bed.
Blessed and cursed, by unlimited spending
Poor and regretful, is that a diligent ending?

When I dream, I ponder pillow fights,
Polyester wars waged on cool autumn nights
Consider the sacrifice, as you sip your burnt coffee
Of soldiers from home who fancied
Going out in a blaze of glory…
Only,
To find themselves dying quietly
Last breaths whispered softly,
On the Homeland we all pray
To a shopping-mall Gandhi.

I pass by store-windows, a distorted reflection
Looks rather pious, as it ponders who I am.
So let us go then, you and I
When the ozone has grown disillusioned with the sky
And opens up our lives to harsh Heavens.
Like a terminal patient
Who roams septic halls in a hospital gown
Memorizing faces,
With the fresh innocence of a child

Because we’ll all be great friends,
On the other side, somehow
Till robotic voices wake us, and we drown.

Think

I think to find what I seek, but what I seek is something I can not think of
For what I seek is to serve, serve my country
For when I grow I will change to find the light to the path to serve as a woman soldier and if I shall die I want you to think I died, but I died trying, serving. and saving the lives of the people to bring peace and harmony to the people of my country

Stepping Downwards

Birds chirping roughly on an avocado tree
I curiously look upwards to see what could that noise be?
Is it a sparrow or a mockingbird?
It's plump and it has all shades of brown

I'm stepping upwards next to the spiraling, gnarled tree before me
The chirping has stopped this second
Breaking my imaginative ideas and brewing them to ruins

I'm stepping downwards
Urging myself to walk towards this memorable maze-like place
Where I could feel the wind caress my face

In a meadow of cherished flowers
Making this my solitude
To sit on a crooked bench and ponder about my frowning attitude

I hear someone steeping below the wall...the safety cliff
I seem to stand here all stiff
Hearing all the bafflement of my unreal family

I walk around,
Inspiration driven through this memorable garden
Endless in its incredible surprises
Leaving me no place to face my demises

Struck by fireworks from the cloudless, fashionable sky
Sitting on a scrawny, dirty chair
Staring at the ancient tree...wondering how life isn't fair

How could it bear such fruit or vegetable?
It grows firm and ripe
Without a flaw...without a stripe
Though I feel that I'm too thin

I walk around,
Inspiration driven through this memorable garden
Endless in its incredible surprises
Leaving me no place to face my tangled drowsiness

I must stop stepping downwards
Into my deep motivations...my charmed desire
Though its hoarse and cruel to leave this tangling temptations

I decide about a decade later
That I really need to take a tightening grasp to hold on to the
stairway's handlebars

Hold on for a minute...I hear a cricket beneath the cemented ground
It leaves the wind to make no ruffling sound

About a decade later, I realize this cycle goes on and on and on and it
mixes altogether
We need to be brought up together
As a family and visit my uncle and grandma

I need to make the decision to step upwards
Make an effort to say my last words:

"I love you all! We'll see you both next month!"

I start the cycle all over again in July

This time,
I won't fail to do my missions

Before turning glory to a peeple stone

Brighter Thoughts

Ya know what's currently happening as of this moment.
The way I am channeling my own thoughts and what I am typing here...
In a very positive and powerful manner.
The light bulb above me, on the ceiling,
All of a sudden has a rainbow circular light around it
And it was flickering as if it was getting brighter!

Incredible what I saw with my own eyes,
By holding back my blinking tendency,
I had seen proof of my new positive thinking...
Why am I all of a sudden
Writing these poems outta the blue.

It is true that this is my own sort of talent,
In a certain sense,
Right now though something amazing
Is happening to my thought frequencies.
A-a-amazing I am currently
Doing all this thinking
And am so peacefully
Self-believing and self-trusting,
Self-realizing and self-liberating.

Happy Place

do you know the feeling i feel?
that feeling you feel when you feel a feeling you felt before?
that yummy feeling of a delightful memory you will forever charish
that memory that has you smiling and giggling?
a crisp feeling in your belly of happiness?
i feel as if i should let you know im feeling this way
because its important you feel that very same way
its a feeling you must feel everyday
or else it will just fade away!
like a red kite, flying away,
a very tragic tale..
but you must keep the kite near the warm ground
keep it close and tight and loved.
lets feel this feeling now,
so remember a day where nothing was in the way
not a care, not a worry and deffinatly not a quarelle
feel the breeze, maybe not of wind
but of greatness in you.
feel it for just a moment and return to the world
give it a smile and walk on by.

Nothing

do you think it would be possible to be nothing?
to grow up to be nothing, to wish to be nothing
i think thats where ill end up being
with the things ive set in stone
with the things ive let out of cages
with the truth thats bitten me
i consider myself still little
still dreaming
still wanting and hoping
right now, id like to be free, kind of like nothing
but not in a negitive way
nothing as a gypsy roaming the street
always with a smile and a song
nothing as a hippie walkin around
with bud in the pipe and a peace sign in his hand
nothing as the fresh wind
happy, flowing, nice.
do you think its possible?

yet he regrets it
for respect he sticks his neck out its life and death kid
he give's words depth and yet his soul hasn't left
running out of breath
feels like hes been punched in the chest
he knows he's cursed but he knows hes blessed
misery and obsession lead him to success of his first lesson
always keep the opposition double guessing
and if he could make a suggestion
Dont come to close he fires like a smith a wesson

Dedicated to the Human Race: Thanks For All Your Time

There, just beyond that dream. There’s my life ripped at the seam.
Then there’s my friends, the pot-heads and dope feens.
And there’s a hole, in the dark; void of light; missing a soul.
Glowing with ambition. Growing in shame.
A blur to sight, a mentality of pain.
There, just beyond what’s real
You’ll never know just what I feel
And here, are my sins…Scabs of dirt, that’ll never heal.
My pain has a taste, like rust and copper
Like copper and rust, I steadily waste
A constant reminder, of what I’ve lost
Oh just what you’ll pay for trust. Just what is the cost?
The fire is in the human head. We’re the reason of our falling
And already fallen dead. For the “tree” is gone.
We’ve choked her, and she was never fed.
Like untamed weeds, we’ve sucked her dry
Though we carry on, mutating our future’s seeds
Now look into my eyes, see what’s written on my face
Our true lives are gone. We’re just a dying breed out of place.
Here…Right here…around and above
I’ve gone blind in my search for unconditional love
So I hope you remember. I hope you can recall
Yourself being the symbolic death of Peace; a fallen dove.
I’m sorry for you. I’m sorry for “us.”
I hate that the truth leaves confusion,, and not knowing what to do
There once was something here, that was of color, for lease
Then rented, used, and destroyed.
So I hope you’re happy, PHukcers, how you’ve disrespected our deceased.

IMMORTAL EMOTIONS

Only now can I see, what was once just a blur,
it all happened so fast, in my heart I was hurt,
just beginning to realize, how messed up things got,
just beginning to realize, all the things that im not,

18 years I have lived, in this life I've been dealt,
been reborn at least twice, yet continue to melt,
seemed to me in my head, im in this alone,
seemed to me I was living, in a twilight zone,

But now thats all over, I can finally see,
everything's different, and im finally free,
if I could only express, my true thoughts and emotions,
it would turn back the clock, maybe dry up the oceans,

My mother's the best, inspiring all,
to never give up, even after you fall,
if I could only repay her, maybe buy her the chair,
this is too much to handle, I'm gonna stop there.

Neglected

When I was a kid
my mother stopped
taking care of me
I never understood why
until today
she never loved me
I have always wanted
a mother who would be
proud of me
but I will never have that
I just have a father
that loves me to death.

Heaven

Beneath the ground the Earth does tred

Many viable thoughts inside my fragile egg shelled head
A sound in deep reflection & then
In matters of service through a barrage of mediocrity
A given sadness sets inside

Amidst a given tragedy the lines are drawn alone

The thought of some heroic montage scene
In sullen clefts chosen among men to be seen
With a sound of sadness then a quick glimpse of heaven
This is not some one stop shopping event at any local 7 eleven

Among silence the inner thought of sullen patience

Heaven is just to far away!

Yet closer to it everyday
Amidst total silence derives happiness out of negated silence

The third degree from the omniscent catalyst
Within direct correlation between friends
In sullen demise grafted into its main source
A reed thwart & tossed into the wind again then scattered

Now is brought desolate among matters shooting fetters
Among broken shattered glass yet still tampered
Through a shade of grey paradox
Only to drift or then rationalize this very notion in thought

Could quite quickly end in some ultimate disaster!

A Lone Beggar

In mere desolation marked on its blotted page intact

With morsels sprinkled among the rocks with salt
Although its scenic view came into play
The slightest hint of ambiguity & your through
Through emmense inner pain in the climax of its game

We played second fiddle on the one last string in pain

With words spoken in lavender best,
With music in the eighties in a crazy rage
Although its scenic view came in focus
Just suppose we end it all,

A suicidal maniac with quivers in his head

Shattered dreams in plotted schemes in lazy diamonds studded scenes
Shadows in the shining storm
If there is a rose its as good as born
A challenge to be free is a question in time

In anger we get grafted in by his great design

A lone beggar then wanders aimlessly in the street
In sudden madness he then longs to assist
The love we once knew would be long to resist
Shattered dreams through the torment in my mind

For I once could see yet now I'm blind
Shake dreams from your hair my pretty child
Chose the day in faltering heat
With bloodshed often in our street

Send the troops home,
There can be no good reason for them to roam
Boldness through its ivy briars torn in fetters
Shattered by the twilight in the storms of life

A broad aim toward the curry & ives
A lost child in torment yet hunts
The pilgrims sod beneath its felt
A quick glimpse of want to present some more

Grasshopper

A lonely grasshopper

Although the contemplative may disagree,

In late Autumn when leaves change
A scented shade of pine pale torn brown;
Within happiness shift change to sadness...
Amidst the gait of timely hue

A brash circumstance to fully cooperate

Having no given sense of forbidden solace to relate;
In full view of its silence;
A lonely grasshopper reacts
Within myraid currency for distant fervor in restoration,

Now tired from its journey rests & waits;

In full view of solace by which to delegate....

Although in time stregnth comes in numbers stealling thunder

Amidst a surprising fall in compromise thought;

A long line of twisted ambers falling asunder
The firm swift call in delegation mixed with thorns;
In a wooden chamber created within its waiting sphere,
An illusion filled wit silent heavy members drew near,

With pulsating madness running through my brain

A bridge of hope to guide then suddenly elapsed in fear;
I shed a single tear for want to draw near,
In swift desolation a rest on a sofa
Silence...

Suddenly in full view the butterfly arise

Emerging in figures of candles with triumph from its cacoon;
In colors of lavender in mesh slight red with blue,
It radiates a slight quiver in my head;
At first frost the elimination of its timely plight,

The cue for silence as we follow its light,

To the natural man their is always a different way by which to understand,

That destination which always seems right;
With its elimination of truth,
One is completeley forced to live by sight!
In time, a lonely grasshopper is then eager,

A search for order amidst its fire;

The yearning quiver of its timely desire
With thorns fully grown in the place of fear
A soul twisted in vice can ultimately still draw near
The lonely grasshopper still embraced its life's journey after all!

Through a chosen vine

Through a chosen vine

Grafted in a space in time aligned within,

A sequential vast spectrum in time
The vast amount of its sequential thought
In the significant amount of delegation
In scorn attributes within vast decorum reflective swift innocence;

Through a chosen vine inhabited with a reflection...

A vast introduction into the peril depths unknown,

We then lingered into its pillage with pilgrim's progress;
In meek excursion too significant for remembrance
We then often wander as if some nomadic tribesmen alone
A tender ear to soothe then numb its inner pain.

In deep sequential host of fervor slightly insanity

Within vile madness its saddening pitch fork erect

From a sought after chilled resolution inside
Brande by ivy briars with the tension of an influx in fear
I have shed a single tear to help numb the inner torn pain
Searching aimlessly yet ignoring the light inside

Strict adherance to the law branded through its desolation filled ivy briars influx sway
A twig suddenly crushed through the evil head on Satan's blow
Tormented skulls fragmented to summon its beckoning call
A heart tormented in sullen wicked evil asps that bite with fright

A heart tormented in sullen wicked asps that bite again,

Having viscious fangs dripping blood off side
A pagan dance trampled through its error on course
In violent ties scorched in tormented mediocrity;
Was once neglected then saddened within approach.

A forbidden promise made in the dark.

A love that will not let me go

Pain...Torn,

Circumstances;
The walk on a path to shed a tear to numb the pain
A desolation sets in the brain let I shall refrain,
Words chosen in the fragments of my mind...

Sheltered by the fear of prison doors
Lest I emplore another chosen rhyme;
To shine a light on make believe,
Eyes with spots chosen doom in gloom

To weather the storm in the plausible norm;
Subside with vile degrading tears in the eyes,
A shelter to cry beneath the pavement fair
Beyond approach till one can compare;

I treasured a rose that was plucked some time ago,
French braid in hair yet none the worse for wear,
A vile of dust chosen influence with tears,
Shaped as the river Nile still we knew all the great while

The smile from the lonesome child
In the call of the wild;
Breath of fresh air to compare a shoulder to cry,
My final sigh as time slowly passes me by

III. Silence

Nameless, the feeling
describable
only
in picture
The scene
		EMBLAZONED
on yr retina, the morning
A dock, a rock, the setting sun
bark slap whrrr laughlaugh
chooooord
		and
			silence.

Four desks are pushed together
and four kids titter as the teacher walks by
I whisper to my friend something secret
	CUT IT OUT
	BACK TO WORK
bellows the teacher
		and
			silence.

Furious scribbles of self-pity after the Algebra test
a note dropped in Her locker.
No response
		and
			silence.

A thousand live trees rise all around me
each leafdrop of dew recorded for all time
captured in a pen’s snapshot
alone and happy and one with the universe
		I embrace
			the
				silence.

The Unmarked Graves

In an rod-iron fence, next to Independence rock,
sits the site of unmarked graves.
A hundred or more years; they sat unrevered
seems history; made a mystery, of their names.

Children they say; rest in the graves,
nieth the shadow of a granite wall.
A boy and a girl, and another still,
may lay behind the fenced befall.

The grandson of the hangin judge,
one account is said to say,
and a girl who's father mined soda ash,
less than a mile away.

It seems these accounts,
difficult as they might be,
somehow lost there place,
in our modern history.

No markers for the two,
and still there may be three?
death's dark door,
often came swift, and tragically.

Though no makers remain,
For the children unnamed.
The fence is there to remind us,
the progress made, along the way,
with the cost of life,
as the purchase.

SEA SHELLS

I was not there
where you are.
Non-stop travel, half the world
to meet you.

Outdoors alone in my homeless home
tonight I will talk to you in sleep
from the smoking hurts.

Trespassing the forbidden line
to the drowned boat,
I am opening the dark sails.

Hope and the sea
apprenticed to pluck the shells
from the eyes, I am wandering on beach.

Golden Memories

Golden Memories
Brother I wouldn’t pronounce you to the world
I pause out your conversation when you held your little girl
In let you promise the sun to the water
And as you told god you would give life to grantee chances for your first daughter
Sister I wouldn’t judge you
When you chose to lay a woman next to you
Remembering the walks we used to take
At my bus stop you used to wait
For me and the books you used to read
And conversations we share and the stories you could tell
Sister you sure can sell
But you sold me these golden memories
Mother some hard arguments
Was rip though with negative comments
But as Shirley say what you given me no charge
If you want to become who you truly are
Let life see you working hard
One time you broke down
From words I conceive
Now I know I shouldn’t never said no matter how much I believe
All these hard times I wanted to blame you because you was the reason
It was hard for me to bereave
Now I know for life there are no fees
I thank The Lord for you and these golden memories
Father you were there for me at the start
Troubles would take you into the waters
As I continue to swim
I would see you floating
But you would never reach me
But your departure or your absence
Is what question me
Until I finish it will be unknown
Someday I know your reasons would come along
Until I shall take time and hope to see
Hope you wouldn’t only be a image of a golden memory

THE HERO

Every Tuesday on the dot,I would be off to the newsagent like a shot.A solitary
sixpence, all my wealth to pick up my favourite comic from his shelf. Not the
Beano,Beezer,Dandy or Eagle...the Hotspur and Wizard were my kings regal. To
read of my hero W W Wilson,the wonder man,sporting giant extraordinaire,batted
bowled and ran.
Soccer ,cricket were a piece of cake,he left all others in his wake.Give him the
ball and the game was soon over,he even outscored Roy of the Rover.Bowling
right armover,on a sixpence seven times from eight, well above average Wilson
was incredibly great. He'd bowl all day at one twenty an hour, never stopping to
take shower!
In futuristic black body suit,an English record breaker without dispute.Mu
inspiration,this imagined prince,never bettered then,before or since!

Clawed my way out

I've been down a black hole,
the toughest journey,
I have been through
the fight to save myself

...to face the inner you...

for everything I believed I was
the me I thought I knew
I had to reconnect ...
my inner child guided me through

we fought for our survival
a feeling familiar to us both

I wasn't going out...with a madman
the madman who tried to destroy
my everything, my life

he had no idea, who I was...
to whom he was dealing...

my grandmothers' and mothers
blood flow through my veins
with it a courage, a strength,
a deep embedded feeling,

this criminal madman his life
he strayed, his blame...

my inner child, our belief, our
perseverance, our struggle to
succeed,

I have lost a lot of the precious
in my life,...but the gains out way
all of this (indeed),

unless, you have experienced
the evil, is it difficult to express
let alone for a child to comprehend ...

Do not ever lose touch
with your inner child
for this is truly you

for me my life could have gone
either way,inner child, our
inner strength I so love you
