A Lament

Your cold lips,
Your frozen Figure...a sad emotion you expelled.
I touch your shape, trembling at the source.
Modeling away to my cheeks.
At sunrise we slept,
At midnight we loved.
The stars and the clouds draw us layouts of dreams,
an enchantment,
our elixir of love.
Hands slept in our grave, a singing hymn.
We drank each other's memories.
We danced until the moon was put to sleep.
Covered ourselves with petals of Rose,
Bare to the despair, the sun presented.
Decaying, and never growing old.
We fulfill these lavender caresses everyday.
Immortals, will will always love.
We will always be together...
Lovers in time.
Vampires in a dream,
A reality to me coming true.

The Longest Night

My longest night will come.
A never ending stream of thought,
which starts and ends with you.
I counted the days that passed
hoping to mend the broken pieces
only to realize,
that there's a place we just
couldn't reach.
Nights were mere reflections
Of a man I used to be.
And this candle will die and still this restless
Soul reaches for someone very close
Yet very far from the river towards his heart.
I carry a heavy burden.
An undying flame which still burns
within...
A kind of pain that'll never heal.
A kind of dream that just won't go away.
I gave you a part of me that never sleeps.
A soul tired of thinking.
The sun will ease the pain.
But every hour, I get closer to the familiar
sense of loss.
And my longest night will come.
Which starts and ends with you.

Undying Love

This fast life of mine is dying
All you see is my lifeless body lying
Scarcely heaving my last breath
I knew it was coming, soon my own death
I had one last chance to say my peace
So that my loneliness would cease
I got to say on my last breath
Don't fear my love I have finished my quest
It was for undying love
One day you will fly with me as a white dove
A dove stands for eternity and that's what it shall be
For the next time we meet we will see each other clearly
Goodbye for now don't shed a tear
For one day soon I will be near

Eyes Never Dry

Her eyes were never dry
Since she was born she would always cry…
No matter what kind of lie I would tell
She would see right through me , a smile she didn't sell…
I don’t blame her when her lips fell…
She knew the world was aware of our pain…
She knew nobody cared about evils reign
She knew nobody cared about every body that laid lifeless on the city streets…
She knew…
So I understand…
In her still so young heart
Knowledge of the world there was that no man had…
Even though she knew it could get her killed she just couldn't stand
When justice wasn't served
When her mothers killers were free
And we get something no human deserves…
So I ask her please smile…
The pain will last just for a little while…

BYRON'S BONFIRES

BYRON’S BONFIRES

Byron’s life was full of fire
Some from passion’s strong desires
Some from temper, child spoiled--
Too much paper--desk embroiled

But he suffered sacred fire
Shelley’s wretched funeral pyre
On strange shores his friend succumbed
Drowned so far away from home

Fighting valiant-- Greeks allied
Keeping paper by his side
Used a fire to keep warm--
Daunting rain that did him harm

After death friends burned B’s words
What a shock if people heard
Thoughts that Byron dared to write
Deeds he carried through by night

Thus his words sung to the flames
Protecting friends from nasty names--
Luck-charmed chimney to embrace
Ash-thoughts of man so wrong defaced.

Sweet Sorrow

I have hid mine heart,
Within a prison cell,
Dark and cold,
Whose key, only you hold.

I have buried mine memories,
Within the sands of time,
None is bare,
Those secrets, only you and I
share.

From thenceforth do we part,
From light and into darkness
do I tarry,
Into perdition,
E'en to the close of my time.

The memory of you, doth
linger,
E'en as the flowers, sprout on
graves,
And as the sun, doth shine,
E'en on the viper,

So I, e'en through the curse of
time,
Tarry forth,
E'en to the sunset of my life,
These memories, a constant
companion.

Tears of the Broken

Introduction: At some point of our lives, someone close to us departs off to the next
phase. We think of the good times and try not to think the bad; but sometimes it haunts us
back to how we responded in a naive way for our juvenile wishes. And sometimes we see them
in our dreams at the utmost optimism and glory. But the fact that we get to realize what
we did back then may have cherished and broken their souls in some ways, we always wonder
if we could alter the deeds that wounded their affection in our times of immaturity…And
pray that we get a second chance to do so for our next life. *the first two lines have some inspiration from another piece*

Even if our hearts were as strong as a storm, we’d still feel a little bit sad Knowing that we’ve lost our grandfather, our friend, our dad. For so many years, we’ve felt their presence In so many ways, we’ve felt complete, But truly, even if we deny – We sometimes skip a heartbeat. Our lives are nothing but their memories and their art, Orbiting us each day, reminding us of who we are Where we stand and to whom we belong, We pray and cry up oceans for them night after night Praying to be together just one more time, in the worlds of light. But yes you are so fortunate, that you got to leave, You’ve made it to the greater step, I pray for us to meet. May your soul be blessed and may it shine brighter than the sun, Again and again ‘I love you’ it’s not a lie, I may not have said it that much But I hope you knew inside, even if I may have been unkind as such Nothing is left for us to do but feel the tears stream down our eyes For we, once in a while have broken their hearts with one or two lies, Their face glows and vividly fades away from our dreams those nights That’s when we fall, fall down to our knees, pray for we could have changed The ways we reacted back in those days. Thoughts of those moments, thoughts of their sorrow smile Now makes us realize how we never cared, For that to overcome, we treasure the good times we’ve shared, The times we’ve heard them say “You’ve made me proud” The times we’ve felt them lay their hands, oh so be crowned. Their tender touch, their forgiveness Their blessings for us and their happiness, We pray to feel it all again Bring it all again, To the eternal life, after this time.

Stay with me

Nowhere
you are
for
Nowhere
I see you

Nowhere
you are
for
Nowhere
I hear you

So where
you are
for
you must be
Somewhere

You still exist
for
I still miss you

Thy sight
comes
to me
by memory

Somewhere
you are
for
Somewhere
I see you

Somewhere
you are
for
Somewhere
I hear you

So where
you are
for
you are
Nowhere

Please
stay with me
for
I need thee

for
a mere
unit am I
without an ally

Nowhere
you are
Wherever
I need you

Please
let
I feel
you are
nearby

Let
I believe
you are
far
from Nowhere
close
to Somewhere

Let
I believe
you are

Please
stay with me

somewhere
anywhere
beyond

I need thee.

SAPPHO'S FALLEN STARS part 3

                                SAPPHO'S FALLEN STARS part 3

Oh, all who hear each word so said--
Mourn my gentle friends-- now in repose behold them dead
May scalding wreathes of tears enfold each honored head

Someone’s shadow joins me here
The scent is one I once held dear

Is this the learned’ Sappho to whom I speak--
The bride of Lesbos with the low forbidden voice
She who climbs the ragged mountains dangerous peak
She who holds the intimate delights within her lap
Knows which sweet sound sparks ears of men to ring
Calls in the blue daughters of twilight to entrap
                                         with Lusty joy –
entwining madly with the bursting spring.

She , whose voice explodes with songs and lyres--
ignites the camping soldiers with the fires
of her bold call—
vibrates desires
siren’s yearn
Even the most valiant heroes to her return--
Desert just cause – oaths dissolve to become
Sudden slaves to female bliss that binds them til they burn

If you are the source of Sappho’s sultry voice—
Open your arms

Behold and Rejoice
your work of charms

and Accept this
Humbled general’s
Sacrifice of Shame

Oh hearers all—Ye, Who have a moment but to spare--
Remember my good men --their story share—

                   Paralyzed—
by manly Pride brave men fell at the feet of Sappho fair
         	   Tantalized –
an army lies eternal midst the tangles of her hair

Mistake

As blood drips down
I stare at myself with a frown
Her body flashy red
Stabbed her dead
Dropped my knife
Started to caress my wife
Gruesome love
As I removed my infected glove
Flowed in my mind were memories
How the joy to bury her in the cemeteries’ graves
I chopped her many and waves
Of worship appeared
I knew I feared
This, I loved too much
I remember the first touch
My hands on her hips
Licked mine and on her lips
As my hand gentle rows to the end of her back
I managed to take a snack
My hands reaching her round behind
Combined of the kissing of her chest
Licking between the two breast
I become more attracted
And more distracted
Pushed her on the bed
Instead my jumping ahead
I gave time
So then she can be mine
In the mid-dust, forever
Me and her together
As I stormed with the ring
I became the king
And she is my queen
The glorious scene
In a dull and faded
With me is hatred
I had to say
In a mysterious way
I have done a mistake
That no one can break
I picked the knife stabbed myself and returned
To my lover that I burned…
