This is me

My knees were the things that
kept me up and my skin is my
cutting board my eyes are the
rain clouds to the fire running
down my arms and my heart is
the fire place that keeps me
burning so calm

The First Goodbye

laying in your bed
watching you
get dressed
the permanent ring in the
back pocket
of your blue jeans
i’m missing you already

Unknown

Who am I?
Am I defined by what is near in sight?
Am I defined by what I have done,
Or am I defined by what I could become?

Perhaps I'm of no use.
To him, or her, or I, nor you.
Or perhaps I'm too misunderstood to be defined,
And it is something like understanding that comes in time.

And if to the world I'm never shown,
Yet in my own light I've grown and grown,
And so I can know no happiness but my own--
The reason for my smile, to you, will forever be unknown.

I do not pray for the world to know my name.
For it and verse; the letters are the same.
And if a man should find his sorrow in what he reads,
I pray his pain my words to keep.

Should his eyes rain on my page,
Better tears than storms of rage.
And if a man should find his sorrow in what he reads.
I pray his pain my words to keep.

And if to the world you're never shown,
Yet in your own light you've grown and grown,
And so you know no happiness but your own.
Let the reason for your smile, to you, only be known.

The Cowboy Painting

I sit upon the sun-room wall
The man I was painted for has gone
Parted this life, now is pain free
Left 4 daughters who miss him so

His love for cowboys was well known
In charity shops the shelves would scour
For books and movies to be shown
Would watch and watch by the hour

His second love was Bruce Lee
Those movies he loved to see
Then there was rugby at the ref did shout
From his chair because he couldn’t go out

But so proud to be Welsh
On St David’s day would wear
 his Daffodil with pride and
sing Cym Rhondda for all to hear

Now my 2 pictures look down and see
An old dog looking up at me
Am sure I saw the old dog wink
Nah it couldn’t, could it be he?

The Avatar is one of the above mentioned painting I painted

Shiny Minded Stone

"What's your story?"
she questions,
"you seem interesting."

wildflower eyes
                                                                                  ~SIDE-NOTE:
I reply, "NOW." (Kwan$aba! Ha! Really,

often people become confused
by such a unique response
not this one...
she's a beauty
shiny minded stone
lives warm under veins
lacks definition of alone

tho solo she stands
tallest green blade
unscathed
each time the oily blade passes above

erect
she stays the same
tingling pulses exhale her pores
she'd rather sink
than have to think the way of worldly whores

still...
malice skips her
no ripples in the lake
dripping from her face
sunshine slips across tangerine cheeks

gold flows throughout waves
streaming locks
sky clear eyes surprise those
choosing to be consumed
by her entice

hands free of envy
no webs to spin
hips unmolested
thighs slick
turpentine

be warned
she will divide you
no voodoo
or silly twisted games
though safe may escape you

blemish-less
untangled...
the girl
she
Goddess
baby of zero maybes
KNOWS....
how?
she knows

as clarity lent us its giant umbrella
her lipstick smacked my tongue
from there
we never looked back

Poetic Lyrics By Thomas Lam Hsi

THERE IS ONLY ONE TRUE GOD...THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY...WHO ALONE CAN
SAVE FROM Satan...who plays 'all' roles...the devil...the 'Lord Jesus'...
the 'Father'...the 'Holy Spirit'...all 'Other Gods'...and 'alien gods'...HE...THE
LORD JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF IS FULLY GOD AND MAN...AND HE ALONE...
IS THE ONLY WAY TO GOD THE FATHER...and to an Actual Heaven!

Dusty roads...'n tired...blue-eyes...till...I...CRIED...'n...DIED!
I'm...so...SORRY...I...LIED...TILL...I DIED!
How...would...I...EVER KNOW...it...was ALL A LIE?
He said..for better...or FOR WORSE...and I...said...EVEN...FOR WORSE!
NOTHIN..BUT...LIES...till...I...DIED...AND DIED...my money...HIS LIES!

Summer Camp...a...TIME...IN THE SUN...'n BOWLS of FUN...CHILI 'N DOGS!
Journals 'n FUN...circling round...DUSTY ROADS...alone...LOST...TILL FOUND!
HE...WAS...SO BEAUTIFULL..and so...WAS I...till...I DIED...when...SHE CAME 'ROUND!
I...came...'round...FROM ROUND-TO-ROUND...till...I CAME AROUND!
And...BEAUTY...did...HE...say...HE FOUND [from, "You're a fatty...and a ROUND NOSE!"]!

CHORUS:

Riding alone...on a...WHITE STALLION...'n MY BLUE...SUEDE BOOTS!
Cool as a cucumber...HOTTER than WHISPERED... GOLDEN-FLAKES...
FALLIN on a BED OF PINK & RED ROSES...on a BED...of a...
LAZY SUNDAY MORNIN...my PUPPY...LOVE!
What starts as...GOLDEN-BURSTS & WHITE LILIES...and LEADS TO ALTARS...
Of...FORKS 'n THE ROAD!
D'IVERGENT...sheets of PAIN...as WATER...FALLS...on MOTTLED-ROCKS!
I'M...RIDING...ALONE...on a WHITE STALLION...his LETTER FALLS...as a
SILKEN SCARF...I'M...RIDING...ALL...ALL ALONE!

Sin

Anguish taunts through a barbed wire fence with edged grasp

Actions in which human beings rebel against a holy God
Miss their purpose for their lives
Surrender to the prince of the power of the air more then God
Cause all of their deeds were evil!

Shattered
An eclipse of the sun had tainted my inner vision
Push back the pain with radiant guide
Does this notion in thought come at any big surprise?

Weak willed tyrants from the flood of dispinsation
Shattered fragments loosed in gloom climatic abrasion
Parts unknown from the setting of the sun
Sin

Leading gullible women captive under the false cloak of compromise
Abortion on demand
When will they ever understand?

Blood shed in our streets
Evil tyrants from elected officials overly prideful taunt & pull!
We each our responsible for our actions before a holy God
Sin!

BABILONIA

I was born in Babylon
Everyday I want to be alone
I prayed not to get low
Everyday Babylon claim more soul
I just have to go, seek for more show
I grow with no shoes under my foots
Ganger is my food,
Mosquitoes sing the reggae allover my room
Webs block my views, killing my crews
What can I do to survive when am buzz

Where is that place to get crazy?
That place you cannot erase,
That camp with more space,
Where you don’t have to get late
That place where you just want to be free from
“Babylon” Babylon” Babylon…I want to be free

If there is a question, it should be about relation
My action will generate your reaction
Is substitution the way to be free from Babylon?
The game is always ON, grow horns like Capricorn
Cut the vegetables; let’s be able to be stable

THE MONEY FOR HER DIAMOND

     In the heat of July,
While bringing in the hay,
He gave her a baling wire ring,
And this is what he had to say...

     “Someday I’ll put a diamond,
Here on your hand.
A diamond pure and perfect,
As sure as I’m your man.

     But, you know, a diamond,
It won’t ever shine,
As long or as bright,
As this love of yours and mine.”

So they saved for her diamond,
By putting little bits away,
Money for the diamond,
He would buy for her one day.

But the money for her diamond,
Fixed the tractor and bought a plow,
And in the dead of winter,
Paid the vet. bill for the cow.

     The money for her diamond,
Put the water to the barn,
And paid the increased taxes,
The county levied on the farm.

     The money for her diamond,
Paid the doctor in town,
And when their daughters were all grown,
It bought the wedding gowns.

It paid for the new roof,
When the big wind came through.
Then it it paid off the mortgage,
Before it was due.

     The money for her diamond,
Was always well spent,
She never even asked him,
Just where the money went.

     The money for her diamond,
Helped them to survive,
The money for her diamond,
Kept their hopes and dreams alive.

    Today it’s been sixty-three years,
And the diamond is on her hand.
But, as usual, in her pocket,
Lies her original wedding band.

     A twist of baling wire,
Bent and covered up in rust,
A symbol of the greatest of loves,
His Promise and Her Trust.

On Going . . .

Under a witch’s moon
blows the wind that blows within
she sings her songs
in out of tune

In her troubled heart
sorrow blows across her soul
on a restless storm
of
going . . . . away

Her slender shoulders carry weight
unmeasured
of you
who looks inside and weeps
and
God you were a friend
and
she cries
a river winding
through valleys dark
where you have gone
and
Where endless deserts end
sand catches between her toes
scuffing pretty plumes
of prismed moonlight
into dust

the dream wedding story

i remember the long pink gown.
the flower's in her hair.
she had brown wavey hair.
then there was those shiney glass slippers.
her family said she looked like cinderella with brown hair.
she thought she heard you may kiss the bride.
then she woke up and the sound she heard was just the rain outside her window.
then she laughed and said wait im already married!

DEaD OF THE FAMILY

Top of Form 1
?????DEAD OF THE FAMILY
I don’t know very much at all
I know red means stop and green means go
I don’t live in the deep south yet I have a southern drawl
And I also know the things that I don’t know

At first it was difficult admitting that fact
To tell people that I’m not so wise
Then I’d explain all the things which I have lacked
Such as a traditional upbringing which is no surprise

Perhaps it’s the fact that everyone in the family has bruises
Yet no one goes to the emergency clinic for aid
And in this family there are no winners nor fu**ing losers
Everyone beats every one just for a minuscule mess he may have made

Two ostensibly ordinary people are bringing their kids up with military rules
There was a lawyer down the street but we could never nerve up and go
We may be mistreated, mishandled but we’re no damn fools
And as I said, the only thing I know is that which I don’t know
