Home

daybreak
welcomes the sun
earthly beauty revealed
celebration in paradise
tainted
apple difficult to resist
one bite never enough
mourn the dying
planet

This poem is not a true cinquain, but loosely follows the cinquain format. The fifth line is used as a transition or mirror for the two parts of the poem.

City Bus (Cinquain)

This bus
Carries mixed thoughts
The thinking zone on wheels
No talking, only wild thoughts
That’s us

Running In The Dark

In the dark,
Shadows whisper.
Dreadful creatures stir.

Running away now
Into the light.
Now all's safe.

Divider of People

Great walls
Sealing dried tears
Locking out yearning hearts
Like Jericho’s walls, they too will—
Crumble

Tomorrow 7-6-02

As I look across the sky
With waves lapping at my feet
I saw shades of yellow, pink,
and red acorss the summer sky.
Them the sky was dark
and the stars bright.
My heart felt light as air
But as the wind began to blow,
I turned around and walked away
Without a single look back
to what I left,
but to only to
what's ahead of me.

leads to that place
where soft pillows await
our tender passion, as new heights
we climb
