Traces

Traces
In the wet sand
Footprints of gulls, and man
Disappear in the tidal dance
Of waves.

Traces
In the red dust
Feet of man, and horses
Up in canyons, leave no trace of
The brave.

Traces
In the garden
Of such delightful scents
In spring and summer by winter
Erased.

Traces
Of human life
Throughout world's history
However, are reported upon its
Pages.
Traces
Of wins and woes
Like hand prints upon walls
Can't be erased, for their foothold
Remains.

Gold Refined

Unstable
Uneven ground
When you sit on a fault
For a heartbreak makes your faith
falter.

Restore
A broken trail
Requires sunshine and rain
Water cleansing the heart that needs
Warm rays.

Resource
From high above
Be the only recourse
To recover, the heavens charged
With force.

The Force
That never fails
May be at times at bay
By somber fearful clouds
A phase.

To build
Your inner strength
Which raises faith again
That the sunrise brings a new day
That grants.

New hope
Comes to restore
Your dream sleeping no more
The tarnished gold of your soul, refined
Bright ore.

Missing and Knowing

Missing
Your hand in mine
My weary heart has swept
The wishes into dreams that kept
You here

Knowing
Fate can’t deny
What two souls take and bind
On the other side, I will find
You there

Softly The music plays Inside the heart that beats With the wish to excercise in Giving. Not once But with each beat Given to us to love For this is the true nature of Our God.

A fools game

Gambling,
fools game,
oh the shame,
who would of known,
that the very first flutter,
would lead to me in the gutter.

Alone,
damp streets,
no-one to greet,
falling to my feet,
pick pennies and butts up,
to feed my craving and need.

Help,
desperation/panic,
I suddenly realised,
the reality, my habit,
I need to snap it,
before I become a severe addict.

Rehab,
rehab centre,
here I come,
going to crack it,
determined to win this time,
full of slight reluctance, nerves, overwhelmed.

Six,
six months,
I've won it,
I've regained my life,
time to get back on track,
no more bets or slot machines.

The Love Race

The Love Race

A place
Where all my cares
Seem to fly out the door
Because I can raise my voice there
My grace.

In praise
Voices blend in
Like a choral dance
Upon keys and strings upholding
God's grace.

Heart rate
Quickened by joy
Mirrored in percussion
Encircling all present as one
Love race.

Revelation

From far
A voice surges
That speaks to the heart
It wants to reach and be heard
Closer.

Silence's
Necessary
To keep away the noises
Confusion, the mercenary's
Query.

Listen
And come to know
The soul of each season
That wishes to speak to our soul
Their goal.

Open
The ears to hear
The words that are spoken
Parents, Their love revealed in each
Season.

And see
Melt away night
Our fears, our tears and sneers
With the wine of Their love's pure light
God's might.

The Key Holder

Open
A gate, a key
To greater turmoil
Overture to greater beauty
Unspoiled.

Fear not
Discovery
When your eyes look upon
Rough trail, hiding territory
Beyond.

Count not,
Walk regardless
Of the pros and the cons
Dreams are in the making, unless
You doubt.

Seek Ye
That gate, that key
That you may come to know
Treasure untold; that ye the key
Do hold.

TWIN SISTERS

Mercy
That's recompense
With tenderness of heart
Exercise of authority
Clemency, compassion, a blessing and
Pity

And Grace
Pleasant favor
Love goodwill and kindness
Reconciliation to God
Divine influence offers Mercy and
Pardon

Sisters
Mercy and Grace

Listening for God

Listen
Be still, silent
God's voice is a whisper
Gentle words spoken to our hearts:
I'm here.

We are Royalty

A tear slow motion down the hill of my round cheek tickling the corner of my mouth I feel An ache knowing your loss remembering the face of the one I lost years ago embrace Our hearts joined in oneness in a bond that will last because we've walked in the same shoes our grace Likewise Today's hardship has the power to rise man over prejudices of all kinds. Of skin creeds and cultures as we are one in Him who sought to give to us all His kingship. My loss is His loss too His loss also my loss our hearts are one, linked forever in love.
