Their feet

To my sons

His feet
Lead him to breech
Any borders and seek
To meet his brothers as equals
Steven.
His feet
Lead him to leap
Over walls and land on his feet
Andrew
His feet
Seek to be free
To reach the top of trees
And fly to where dares the eagle
Matthew.

Thine

For you
I'll cross the night
Even when the ink sky
Is barren of the moon and stars
That guide.

For you
I'll brave the storm
However strong its plight
However loud the thunder roars
Its strikes.

For you
I'll walk across
Treacherous trails of strife
I'll keep up even through the cross
Of trials.

For you
Is the address
Of all I say or do
Your presence is my happiness
No lie.

For you
Is all I care
I will stand by your side
You can count on me forever
I'm thine.

Mama's Pizza {Cinquain}

                                                             pizza
                                                     doughy mixture
                                             cheesy gooey stretching
                                         bakers oven homestyle freshly
                                                        sourdough

time

As Time Goes By

Each grain of sand
On the waste of Sahara
Is a word spoken
A lover´s whisper
A story told and
A song sung.
And now lizards and
Snakes burrow under
The sand to
Escape the fierce sun.
