My Piano Knows

My piano sits alone a lot of days,
Waiting for someone to come along who plays.
Usually that someone is my son or me,
But lately since he's in college, it's been me, you see.

My piano knows when I am angry,
and lets me take out all my anger on the keys.
My piano knows when I am sad,
and lets me play it until I am glad.

My piano knows when I am in grief,
because of the songs I play, it's really beyond belief.
And of course my piano knows when I am happy,
I play songs of contentment and joy and lots are snappy.

I can be feeling blue and play a harmonious melody or two,
And in no time at all I will feel like new.

But my piano is loved best at Christmas time
Playing all the Christmas Carols and Christmas Chimes.
Songs of Jesus love for us and how He came to earth.
Songs of Angels singing and about His lowly birth.

Songs about three wisemen, my piano plays them all,
"White Christmas" "Blue Christmas" and songs played at the mall.
I love to play my piano for people to enjoy,
Elderly, mid-age, young folk, and every girl and boy.

But listen carefully dear hearts, take heed in what I say,
My piano knows that most of all, God gets the praise always!

Mysterious Ways: A True Christmas Story

A true story, based on family oral tradition
from the oldest part of the city of Bern,
capitol of Switzerland, where my mother was
born and raised, in the Nydegghoff)

He lighted the candle with a quivering hand,
his overcoat seeming to weigh down the old man.
He paused in the aisle to genuflect,
and wondered if God knew his heart was a wreck.

He found a pew and got to his knees,
hands clasped together, he sent out his pleas.
He is old and he's tired, now he's alone,
his wife died last Spring, now his house wasn't home.

They'd been blessed with one son, he'd died in the war,
and now there was nothing for him to live for.
He prayed until his knee pain was great,
then sat back in the pew and tried not to shake.

The cathedral was beautiful; he loved the stained glass,
but, oh, they brought memories of Sundays past.
How could he make it through Christmas alone
in a house that was empty, no longer a home?

The kitchen was silent and cold as a tomb,
but her scent lingered on in their modest bedroom.
He said one last prayer, then rose to his feet,
genuflecting again, he went out on the street.

He walked home near blindly, not even aware
of the snow that was landing on his shoulders and hair.
He was cold inside, his heart like a stone,
and he felt completely and utterly alone.

He turned down his street, saw his porch light's glow,
and only then realized it had started to snow.
He opened his gate, thought of making some soup,
but froze in his tracks at the sight on the stoop.

On his porch sat a basket, the old wicker kind,
he thought for a moment, he was losing his mind.
Inside the basket that sat on his mat,
were three tiny kittens and one momma cat.

What a pitiful sight, so cold and so thin,
he scooped up the basket and hurried them in.
He found some canned tuna and warmed up some milk,
gently petting the babies, whose fur was like silk.

He never discovered who left those cats there,
but, as his love grew, he no longer cared.
His wife had loved cats and this comforted him,
as they slept on his head, or tucked under his chin.

The kittens grew quickly, as they're wont to do,
amused by their antics, his love grew and grew.
There was laughter and joy 'til the end of his days,
for God works, as you know, in mysterious ways.

WHAT CHRISTMAS IS ABOUT

Christmas is not about silver bells
And sleigh riding in the snow.
Christmas is not about holly boughs
And sprigs of mistletoe.
Christmas in not about golden rings
Or partridges in a tree.
Christmas is all about Jesus Christ,
Who came to save sinners like me.

Christmas is not about Santa Claus
And good little girls and boys.
Christmas is not about eight reindeer
And lots of Christmas toys.
Christmas is not about shopping days
Or trimming the Christmas tree.
Christmas is all about Jesus Christ,
Who came to save sinners like me.

For God so loved the world
That He sent His only Son
To bleed and die upon a cross
To pay for the sins we’ve done.
He was born of a virgin at Bethlehem
To die at Calvary.
Christmas is all about Jesus Christ,
Who came to save sinners like me.

That Spark of Hope

A little girl lost her home this year, for her, Christmas wouldn't be there.
Her family was angry from all the troubles, they simply couldn't repair.
Don’t bother us about presents her parents said, they were depressed by their fate.
With bitterness they said, you’d be lucky to have dinner tonight, or even a plate.
Life was harsh, nowhere to go, anger and fear had put their souls, in a terrible place.
The little girl had found no hope or joy, lurking near their old car, of late.
The car was their home, gas money was scarce, and with few places they could park.
Yes, their troubles had slowly extinguished, that precious hopeful spark.
Without that spark, they’d never find their way, from this terrible place of cold and dark.
And life’s darkness grew deeper nightly, as hope vanished under a reality so stark.
Even the very fiber of her family, seemed to be shattering slowly, slowly, apart.
The child felt alone here in this dark car, as sadness tried to engulf her little girls heart.
The future seemed filled with hopelessness, as shame and dread, were leaving their mark.
Embarrassment to be seen and turned away, made it hard for them to reach out, to restart.
But life goes on, and we can’t fear to rebuild, or the future will be hard to impart.
The girl suddenly declared there’s more to life, and she wouldn't let it conquer her heart.
She decided triumphs will come, and all will get better, if she held to that hopeful spark.
Seeing the desolation and anger here, she couldn't stay around, she had to get away…
So she climbed out of the car, and she walked into town, not so very far to stray.
She went and looked at the store windows, where Christmas was being displayed.
The music and people filled her heart, lifting her spirits, deep inside, that day.
She noticed a store, way down at the end of the row, on the next block, where it lay.
No one was there, it seemed lonely, and the darkness was again, spreading it’s decay.
She ran there in time to see an old man closing up, with sadness on his face betrayed.
What use were his goods, if no one would shop, or come down along his way?
The super store down the block, was daily making him lose more and more in the fray.
He could no longer afford to hire people, and the season had very little time, to stay.
As they talked the girl saw that she couldn't let the darkness take another, so she prayed.
Then she told the old man, if he’d open the shop, she’d bring customers down his way.
She added, she’d find reasonable workers, if her family could live upstairs, she portrayed.
First bring the customers, he said, and the rest will be yours little friend, he conveyed.
She had him put his best toys, as a contest prize, and to add lots of lights on the display.
He set a contest, “Winners-the best collectors for families in need” on Christmas Eve.
He put out a bright contest sign, but still nobody came to his end of the block, to survey.
So she had him call the Salvation Army, for a kettle, Bell ringer, and Carolers, who came
Lickety split, their way.
Then she had him call a dear old friend, and farmer, to bring a tractor full of bails of hay.
Another volunteered his horse and sleigh, both, to see the city lights thru New Years Day.
This was a great idea, since the older drivers, could use the help, for their bills to pay.
The girl ran all over spreading the excitement, and to come see the prizes, his way.
The families suddenly started heading toward his door, and to those wondrous rides.
At that moment her parents came, and she explained what her hope, had improvised.
Her father talked a contractor into building a disabled family a home, to help advertise.
He could get a tax break; come to this store for supplies, and hire unemployed workers, he devised, so wise.
In the end, each night grew brighter, because of a girls hope, and heart-warming delight.
And the old man began smiling for the first time, in a long, long, time, starting that night.
All was saved, a home was found, and another built, as a sad little girl taught grownups to smile along the way…
You might say, A Spark of Hope lit a candle, then a raging fire, which was burning bright by Christmas day.

The moral to my story is:
Never give up on Hope; it’s your best friend, as life brings its troubles your way…
Know that with time, a good heart, good will, and friendly ways…
You can find God’s gifts again, if you don’t let the dark take you away…

Sir Cliff Richards

“Sir Cliff Richard ”

I do wish I could meet you, properly I mean,
To actually speak to you, would be a dream.
I’ve been to see you three times during the last few years,
Although sitting watching you almost reduced me to tears,
Tears of happiness that is, I hasten to add.
I’ve adored you from afar, since you were not much more than a lad.
Twice I have seen you at Nottingham’s Royal Concert Hall,
Doing your Gospel Concert, but there were no seats left in the stall.
So up at the very top we sat.
I was scared to move in case I fell flat.
Then you came on and started to sing.
It was a fantastic experience I would not have missed it for anything.
Although we went to see you in October, they had Christmas trees on the stage,
Because the show was being recorded for the Christmas edition of Songs of Praise.
When it came on television, I videoed it so I could watch it all over again,
And again, and again, and again, and again.
My favourite songs are “From A Distance” and “The Twelfth Of Never.”
I could listen to you, forever and ever.
I also like the song you did for Princess Di.
Although when I listen to it, I really could cry,
Especially the words, “All That Matter’s in the End Will Be,
The Love In You And The Love In Me.
With a 20 Year Tranquillizer Addiction, and Agoraphobia,
I’ve Been To Hell and Back.
But Thank God, My Life Is Now Back ON Track.
I sat with 12,000, People at Sheffield Arena, Just to see You,
Years ago this would have been impossible for me to do,
Now my greatest wish in life is too,
Get The Chance Just To Meet You.

Happy Birthday Jesus

Long ago, one Christmas morn, in a stable a child was born
Innocent, helpless and small
How could we believe He’d someday die to save us all?
On His mother He depended for his every need
How then could we imagine it would be by His blood alone that we’d be freed?
Growing up in a time and place so different from Heaven above
Living and dying here on Earth, what a symbol of His love.

To the cross He lovingly went
Knowing it was for our sins alone that He had been sent
Dragging His cross up to that hill where men were condemned to die
Jesus, our Savior suffered the fate while we were all passed by.

“King of the Jews,” that’s what the sign had read.
Hanging just above His thorn crowned head.
Blood spilled from nail driven hands and feet
As Christ suffered a death most bitter and sweet.

The pain and agony He lovingly endured
To give us the gift of salvation, most blessedly assured.
He never counted the cost of a price that was oh so high
Giving up His last breath so we may never have to die.

Today He walks amongst us, having conquered the grave.
Loving, hoping and waiting for us to accept the gift that He gave
When on that day so long ago He died in our place
Proving the power of God’s most amazing grace.

So this Christmas morning before you race for the tree
Take a moment to thank God for Jesus, for the gift of life eternally.
But don’t stop there, unwrap that gift of salvation today
What better way is there to tell Jesus………Happy Birthday?!

Tale: Mary Magdalene

Behold, one day was a woman who was found in possession of many men. Good men, enamored by some other concubines and some married. And in the year 30 BC the law was harsh and severe. And the woman was taken to a prophet who was in the region to be tried and sentenced to stoning.

The wise heard all the witnesses, the men who were involved with this woman claimed they were attracted by its impurity and its spells, the wives of men who lay with Magdalene really wanted it to be stoned.

Then the sage asked: where is the adulteress? And all pointed to the ground, with stones in hand ready for stoning, toward the woman who was in tears. And again the sage asked where the adulteration? And all again pointed to the woman who was on the ground crying.

His tears fell at the feet of the thinker who stopped for a moment and said to the crowd:

"When each of you pledged to love each other as a sign of respect for the Creator at least stopped to reflect on the consequences that the adulteration of thought would lead to their own destruction teaching?

What did this woman beyond just love?

I see in their faces adulterated by the expression of a thought that leads to hatred and seeks the destruction of the next as to what gushes misunderstanding.

Who really had adulterated the divine purpose? One that gave the body a sign of love for others or those who changed their initial purpose in interacting with the creator?

Then so be pronounced the sentence. He who does not have it in your face adulterated the true purpose of love that judge this woman for the crimes that have been allocated to it, ... "

And one by one all left without even a stone was thrown.

Christmas Rebels

Christmas Rebels
It was about a weak
After that night walk
The unknown dangers,
Made known, turned me weak,
I was managing myself,
After my heart was pulled,
From where it sank,
I was yet in the oven,
Of my haven,
To dry up the coldness,
And the wetness,
Of that fearful night loneliness,

Today is Christmas,
The whole mass,
Was joyous,
Every home, glorious,
Meat was plenteous,
Rice and beans.
Was every homes means,
Children bouncing in,
New goat skin jackets,
Mother’s dressed in costly
Beads and all the way,
Father leads.
For Christmas had taking over,
Taking over the African Shrine,
It supplied a joyous sunshine.
Our pockets were full of cowries,
Like a goldmine,
Happiness was mine,
For the usual war seemed
To be hidden, and our teethes where like,
“Forever opened”.

Oh! Joyful, blissful, plentiful Christmas.
Providing joy each time it surface,
But joy has a slender waist that breaks so soon.
Christmas night came, so we visited
Our beds as night rang it’s bell,

Christmas Rebels (2).

But night’s bell came with tears and without love,
As our bamboo door talked,
“KNOCK! KNOCK!!”
Before my voice could speak,
Legs ruined down my door,
Then eyes in different heights
In the starry night like
Torch lights… attacked
Me with their voices.
They came in mass,
Some brandishing cutlass,
Some matchets, guns and arrows.
Gang upon gangs,
Displaying their flags,
Blood stained, tattered, hair, shaggy.
They held human heads for their
Oracles of war.
They were muttering songs as if
Forced to sing,
They had leaves and grasses in the
Middle of their mouths, they were mostly teens,
They were the Hausa rebels…
“Wait! Wait!! Wait!!!
Where are the bells?
Is this day not Christmas?”
I was asking myself,
A short tick man came out of the mass,
Not looking like human,
He looked backed at the rest,
Feeling like the best.
He weakened my hear drums
By the manner of his question,
“Hausa or Birom?”.
To send my religion to the bottom?
Whom for this day, is Christmas?
And sweet Messiah’s Calvary at Golgotha?
I wasn’t prepared for that,
So the truth came out like a blast
“Birom!!”.
“Yee! Yee!! Yee!!!
Enemy tribes” they shouted
Like savage talking drums.

(To be continued in the next, same Poem).

Unknown

Who am I?
Am I defined by what is near in sight?
Am I defined by what I have done,
Or am I defined by what I could become?

Perhaps I'm of no use.
To him, or her, or I, nor you.
Or perhaps I'm too misunderstood to be defined,
And it is something like understanding that comes in time.

And if to the world I'm never shown,
Yet in my own light I've grown and grown,
And so I can know no happiness but my own--
The reason for my smile, to you, will forever be unknown.

I do not pray for the world to know my name.
For it and verse; the letters are the same.
And if a man should find his sorrow in what he reads,
I pray his pain my words to keep.

Should his eyes rain on my page,
Better tears than storms of rage.
And if a man should find his sorrow in what he reads.
I pray his pain my words to keep.

And if to the world you're never shown,
Yet in your own light you've grown and grown,
And so you know no happiness but your own.
Let the reason for your smile, to you, only be known.

A Miracle For You

I wish I could help you each and everyone.
You light up my life and the same I would
like to do for you.
I don't like seeing you feeling so sad.
If I could find that one thing to make it all
better I surely would do it.
Could I sit by your side when you feel the
need to hide from it all?
I would wipe away your tears and try to
chase away your fears.
I would hold your hand and whisper soothing
words to you until you fall asleep.
I pray for you to be free from all your pain and
sadness today...tomorrow...and everyday hereafter.
I wish for you to be able to enjoy everything life has
to offer.
Please know that you my family and friends each and
everyone of you mean the world to me.
For Christmas a miracle to you I would give...if only I could !!!

CHRISTMAS EVE

Snow flakes seem to do a majestic dance in the air;
Or so it appears at the opening of the chapel door.
Gingerly walking down the front marble stair,
I head into the darkness with holiday joy in store.

Warmed by the spirit of celebrating the Holy Birth,
I ride the bus homeward through the pristine snow.
The street scene is one of colorful lights and mirth,
With a bitter gust of wind pushing one and all to and fro.

It feels as if it’s the same over the entire universe;
Nothing but serenity and delight up and down the street,
As I run to my door before the weather gets worse.
Oh the joy of being home at Christmas in my cozy retreat.

Off I go to slumber comfortably in the warmth of my bed.
With dreams of cherubs and angels caroling in a sleigh
And visions of my girl Celesta dancing stately in my head,
I am entertained by thoughts of the joy of the coming day.

What If Christmas Never Came

What If… Christmas Never Came??? What if Christmas never happened? What if Christmas never came? Things around here would be different! It wouldn’t be the same! What if the baby Jesus was never born in a manger? Mankind would be in serious trouble! We’d all be in danger! If the baby Jesus wasn’t born. There would be no nativity. We wouldn’t be able to display this during our “festivity.” It’s almost like this now! It’s an “ever increasing business.” It seems like nearly everyone wants “Christ out of Christmas!” Why does it seem like Christmas is losing it’s true meaning? The very words; “Merry Christmas,” seem to be quickly disappearing! Many say; “Happy Holiday.” They worry they may “offend.” Having a “holiday” without Christ…. Once again! We need to put Jesus Christ back into our CHRISTmas season! He is what Christmas is about! HE is the very reason! May we all take some time to rejoice in our savior’s birth. May there be shouts of JOY! From the corners of the earth! Let’s not take Christ out of our joyous celebration! We need him so much right now! All over this great nation! May we bring to him a heart of love for everything he’s done. As we bring honor to Christ. God’s precious son! May we continually offer to him a heart filled with praise! Not only at Christmas time… But all of our days! By Jim Pemberton 12/05/11

HOPE OF THE MAGI

On a dark, mysterious and cloudless night,
A shooting star traces its way from the east.
God’s shining divine messenger glows bright—
Directing the Wise Men’s excursion for peace.

Knowing even God’s folly can only satisfy,
The Magi choose not to ignore this holy clue.
They set out trailing this light in the sky
With promises of the Prince of Peace in view.

With no gifts fit to endow the sacred family of God,
They bear two symbols of man’s generosity and gold.
Guided by the divine grace above on they trod
With sublime visions of God’s realm to behold.

Christmas 2009

Recession made Christmas harder than ever before
Family’s splitting – money the core
Dad’s leaving to live on the street
So that young hungry mouths are able to eat
That some extra cash might be in the house
and children might learn what Christmas is about?
But without Dad gone, roof would be lost
for the bills are much higher – we can’t meet the cost
No longer can the average family budget
2009, jobs lost, even working struggle to afford it
Commercialism needs to stop building hopes and dreams
Childern don’t understand you are busting at the seams
Disappointment reigns as kids outside taunt and tease
No longer we fit in we’re all on our knees
Sinking. Even love has fallen apart
We don’t want this Christmas just haven’t the heart!
Expectation lower, depressions set in
Politicians not helping the hole we’re all in
Instead raising taxes they’ll crucify more
and this miserable life could be at your door
Will someone tell them that family should be together
sharing love, life, hopes dreams whatever they weather

An Angel

An angel did befriend us, on earth, before one Christmas day.
Some say she was a comet, some say she was a star.
I say she was a gift from God, here to light our way.
She was a thing of beauty that shone across the land.
Leading to a humble manger, found in Bethlehem.

And what could be so important, for her to come our way?
A savior to our lands, and yes, our hearts and souls…
Triumphantly born on Christmas Day.
That day he was born the heavens truly did rejoice.
And she, a glorious light, continued to beacon forth God’s love.

Such an important part, that angel was given on that day.
She was a beacon to our hearts and the gifts of love…
Guiding the Wise Men and shepherds endlessly along their way.
Thru her we learned lessons, such as: patience, hope, and how to give…
And yes, she led us to the Wondrous Man, who taught us how to live…

real meaning of christmas

tall gorgeous lighted christmas trees
elegant crystal ornaments big enough for all to see
shiny red santa, bows of silk, golden tinsel and silver bells
bright stars, mistletoe and tree toppers, all of this sells
leather purses, fluffy white sweaters, mittens and jewelry sets
perfume, scarves and trinket boxes, but everyone forgets
dolls, toy cars, puzzles and bikes
everything a child wants and likes
tools, stereos, radios and grills
shoes, wallets OH! what thrills
we get what we ask for and then some more
but lets not forget what christmas stands for
tall gorgeous lighted beams of light
elegant, singing angels oh what a sight
shining stars on a cold winters night
bundled up in his mothers arms safely
had you remembered any of this lately?
our lord was born on this day
that is why we celebrate and pray
Merry Christmas to all and lets remember....

The Tragedy of the Banished Revolutionaries

The Tragedy of the Banished Revolutionaries.

Epochs apart, yet,
bound by conscience,

Buddha,
Jesus,
Moses,
Muhammad,
Ram.

Enduring the whispers of time,
through creeds professed,
sermons preached,
and a million sins confessed.

Though,

the essence,
of these banished revolutionaries,
is ceremonially muted by ritual,
and gleefully crushed under,
grandiose edifices,
that serve Religion Inc.

"And the meek shall inherit the earth",
an incendiary thought,
conveniently discarded,
for the pie in the sky that must be sought.

The tragedy of the banished revolutionaries,
stings.
stabs,
whispers still,
for us to hear,
through the din of the cacophony of prayer.

Buddha,
Jesus,
Moses,
Muhammad,
Ram.

The tragedy of the banished revolutionaries,
persists,
each day that we choose,
to shun the meek,
and mouth conscience-salving prayers,

for yet more silver,
and yet more silk.

Why Is Christ Taken Out Of Christmas

Christmas is the only holiday we often don’t call by name. We often forget about the true reason that Christ came. It’s the only holiday that we often call “a holiday.” It’s true meaning, is often, taken away! It’s more than the tree and all of the glittering lights… It’s time to think about the Bethlehem star so bright! It’s more than going shopping at the malls… More than, “Jingle Bells,” or “Deck the Halls!” It’s more than seeing how many people we can buy for. Or that clearance sale, you’re willing “to die for!” It’s more than buying the “newest in entertainment.” Or receiving a gift that may “cause an embarrassment.” Beyond all of the presents and all we truly believe in. Let’s all come to Christ Jesus and receive him! Let’s think about his birth, and his death on the cross! Without HIM… The true meaning of Christmas is lost! He brings the hope, joy and cheer that’s needed! Won’t you listen to his voice? That often goes unheeded? Christ is what’s important! And shouldn’t be left out! He’s what matters! And is what Christmas is all about! Let’s be joyful! It was for all of us that he came! And take this time to bring honor and glory to his name! By Jim Pemberton

Hail and Ice

It Hails
Beautifying Winter
My Nails
Ice in the Center

Oh no
Damn what nonsense
And Yes
Have the License

So Lead
With cars To
roads of speed
And trees
What snowflake
and Breeze

Oh So cold
Ice in the winter
I'm so bold
Out in the Center

& Outdoors
Tremble like that
Icy Floors
With Classmate

There fall flakes
and I fetch them
Whatever takes
I may catch them

So come on everyone
Freeze your blood
To this wintry one
And Snowflake ton

Upon this Christmas Day

He sleeps there in a stable
The babe born to the world
Both mother, father watch with care

Though swaddled in a cloth
He is born, yet, to be king
With but just rags for Him to wear

This special morning
The sun now shines bright
From stars there in the Heavens
To the rise of morning light
The world now is much brighter
As angels, too, now play
There’s hope and happiness to share
Upon this Christmas Day

For within the early morning
Angels brought the sky a voice
Calling forth those who wish to hear

Along then, came all others
Knowing truth within their hearts
That all now have nothing to fear

This special morning
The sun now shines bright
From stars there in the Heavens
To the rise of morning light
The world now is much brighter
As angels, too, now play
There’s hope and happiness to share
Upon this Christmas Day

Go forth and tell all others
Who had no chance to hear
The news of hope and of the joy

Let them know the Gift of God
That comes to save us all
His son sent as this little boy

This special morning
The sun now shines bright
From stars there in the Heavens
To the rise of morning light
The world now is much brighter
As angels, too, now play
There’s hope and happiness to share
Upon this Christmas Day

Christmas Cometh

Christmas Cometh
by Ingrid Showalter Swift

Through a wind that never stops blowing
the house holds fast to the light
flickering candles in each window
hope calling out over a canvas of landscape base painted
in solid white

Auburn gold shadows creep along the horizon
where morning and night crest like waves upon each other
frothing sudden color in thier blending fight

Ruby red undertones flame up across the frost filled clouds
then die away slowly to golds and then ice gray
and then moonless white

in the lights of a passing car... flakes ignite..dazzle and die away again

an owl ...its bright black eyes
against round white face
calls out

"ahhhhooooooooooo"
swoops down across the vast field
its feathers struck out white
like white flames held aloft..........or flashing silver polished metal
against black forest and gray sky...
against
the now darkening of night

and I am reminded of a book from my childhood
that read...
"Who.... who... who ....are you?"

The candles flicker on dainty dancers of hope
leaping and falling and leaping again...
so like myself...I have to wonder...
do they never learn? do they never give up?

Turning from the window I smile at all the richness of the bright within
the colors of red and green...
the sparkle of packages and bows not yet even wrapped
but that will lie beneath my tree in time
the crackle of a wood fire...the smells of pine bows and of things I have collected
to celebrate these days

and I am merry ...in my soul
ever hopeful ever believing...ever true
ever listening ......

for your key hit

hoping it will still come someday...
if I am lucky...perhaps before Christmas has grown cold
in the hearth and heart once more

the owl calls out again

"Who who ......who are you?"

and I know who I am
I am a woman who loves a man
and for him I keep on the light
and ration like gold
the oil

In a land of Christmas dreams

There’s a special place not to far - you know
A special place where we all can go
A place where dreams run as free as our mind
A place where we stop the happiest of times
To live our fullest at being who we are
To share and listen in each others beliefs of who we are.
To be happy being who we are

In a land of Christmas dreams
Is a special place for you and me
Somewhere to go and always see
How truly life can really be

Listen to our loved ones how we want to be heard
Understanding completely with out stating a word

Where giving is a pleasure with a hug and a kiss
Open minds and hearts and feelings as this

In a land of Christmas dreams

In a land of Christmas dreams
Is a special place for you and me
Somewhere to go and always see
How truly life can really be

For this beauty of freedom and dreams
Every night stares at you in your sleep
This giving and caring is special indeed
This giving and caring is shared between you and me

Expressing our gracious love for our friends and family
Always supporting our love and devotion
Being there for each other through times thick and thin
Always to return strong in message of the truth within

In this land of Christmas dreams
All of it’s beauty of freedom sings
Every night sings to you in your sleep
This giving and caring is special indeed
For this giving and caring of Christmas dreams
Is all behind the spirit of you and of me.
