I do not know?
The northern skies are turning gray --
Seems the sun just doesn’t linger.
Christmas is just a month away,
And the nights are getting longer.
That Thanksgiving spent with family—
A briefly pleasant holiday—
Was forgotten all too quickly
By pushy crowds on Black Friday.
Our gift checklist seems like old Saint Nick’s,
But our staff is lacking Elves.
Shopping trips cause daily panics.
I wonder how we’ll feed ourselves.
We must buy more decorations,
So the yard looks like it’s snowing.
We fall deeper in depressions
As our credit keeps on growing.
Lord forgive commercialism
For ruining every Christmas.
Lord forgive consumerism
For dumping on us all that stress.
December is a dreary time,
Even when little angels sing.
The irony of Christmas time
Was that Christ was born in the Spring.
While standing in the checkout line,
Remember what the carols told.
Think of how Bethlehem’s star once shined,
As Israel’s prophets foretold.
Think of the awe of the shepherds
When they saw angels fill the air.
Coming to the stable, entered,
To meet the Holy Family there.
Instead of spending all you have,
Next November and December,
Spend time with all of those you love,
And teach them what to remember.
"A Savior born in Bethlehem"
Should bring us joy and happiness;
And “ Peace on Earth, goodwill to men”
Should set us free, not bring us stress.
I never knew following dreams could be this lonely,
But up on the hill, looking back, thank God I'm not the old me.
If the tears will fall, let them be;
I believe this is God's plan, follow your dreams.
ANOTHER YEAR WITH YOU
Unto the night sky, I see a lace of stars twinkling bright
and far beyond the moon with a grin of mystique light
I welcome the thought that two nights from now,
year 2015 will knock and greet upon my door...
Father God, wow! I can't help to be thankful!
All those bumps and struggles this 2014
whew! I am so thankful that You carried me through...
I have no doubt that it has been always YOU
who is there with me, guiding and listening to me.
Through, people all around me... see...
a child's smile that melts my heart..
my mama's strong voice that toughens me...
my papa's jokes that drew a giggle in me...
the greetings and hugs of friends all around
to the challenging remarks from some
reminds me always that You are just within my reach...
How can I forget Your presence
when each day I wake up...
I behold and have the privilege to enjoy Your creation...
from the serene puffy cotton clouds on blue skies,
from the warmth sprayed by Mr. Sunshine
even the pricking sweats falling unto my brows...
from the colony of ants align to gather their food,
to the sweet smell of flowers,
to the dew kissing the leaves
to the moving fishes I perceive on clear waters
to the soaring flight of birds...
these and others reminds me of Your dear presence... :)!
I am so glad that You are within my life.
Unseen but always felt within minutes of a heartfelt prayer.
Unheard but always on time on answering every uttered appeal...
Can't help to be teary eyed when I remember
those daily miracles You let me experience;
those revelations You letting me witness;
those trials and storms in which by remaining in You, I won!
Giving me further reason to thank You
and give back to You all the things You are doing to me...
Young at twenty-eight they say,
but I thank You that despite what has been
I can say I am blossoming better in every way
because my earnest pursuit of Your will in my life.
I am all challenged and being bent by Your living words.
I am all being convicted too when I do falter
but I am so grateful for Your gift of mercy.
Hence, I make it a point to do more, more and more,
for myself and above all to others
to which You always said that indeed by loving
and extending help to others, I am also loving You...
It is not by merely praying,
nor attending a daily mass or service
nor lifting my hands to praise You
nor singing and dancing in-front of Your altar
nor handing my tithes or offering
that I am indeed praising and worshiping You
It is by sharing the experience
of You loving me to others
and so with Your creations
is the best way.
And even loving and praying that You
will bless and touch those who persecutes me.
I thank You Father God for a wonderful year
and I am looking forward for another year with YOU.
Forever grateful and forever in seek of You,
God, more and more.

Let’s praise the Lord!
All you people of the land!
Let’s praise him with every
Instrument we have on hand!
Let’s shout praises to his
A message of rejoicing,
we need to proclaim!
Let’s come before him,
with love from our hearts!
This is where a victorious
life really starts!
Let’s bring him our thanks
And sing of his tender mercy
and wondrous salvation!
Let’s bring him a heart filled
With hope and cheer!
The coming of the lord,
is so very near!
We bless the father, the spirit
Through the blood of Jesus,
we have overcome!

It's hard doing something different.
It's difficult staying yourself.
In a world so accustomed to conformity,
It feels nearly impossible to be unique
As the one He created you to be.
How do we find the strength?
How do we find the courage?
How do we find the bravery?
Where do we defeat fear?
Well, He's hanging on The Cross
Giving life to you and me.
Thank You Jesus!
Let us not forget
Nothing is impossible,
For with God,
All things are possible!
Thank You Father!
We give our lives to You!
We are Yours!
Praise You forever
In Jesus' Name,
I'm 51 today.
51 tomorrow, yay
Was 51 yesterday.
52 is months away,
And yes I'm thankful.
Although it's not my real birthday,
It kinda is in a certain way.
I'm still alive another day.
I had the notion to celebrate.
And be thankful.
Though it's not a holiday.
Thanksgiving has come and gone away,
I'm just alive today.
For that I'm thankful.
Honestly, I am not just trying to make these lines rhyme,
Or reflect upon the deep sublime.
I'm just grateful today to be alive.
I mean really thankful.
I'm not trying to wow you with philosophy,
Or impress you with theology.
It matters not at all to me.
I just feel thankful.
So tonight I take a walk outside,
I look up into the endless sky and then I breathe.
I breathe in deep,
And I say thank you.
And maybe not just to Who you think,
Man let's throw in the kitchen sink,
And include all who've touched my life, to whom I'm thankful.
Some of you I'm glad you're gone,
Frankly you stayed a bit too long
And some you the grave stole far too soon,
And yet I'm still thankful.
Today the living and the dead
You've both been right up inside my head,
And synergized this verbal thread.
For that I'm thankful.
I close my eyes and think of Tim, named David right there toward the end.
I always smile when I think of him,
And now I listen
I heard a siren going by,
I wonder who and wonder why,
Was it a wreck, did someone die?
Yet still I listen.
Neighbors dogs are going wild.
Was that the laughter of a child.
Seems like I can hear for miles.
Still I listen.
I hear the hi-way roar of cars.
Tho I have never heard the stars
Is there really life on Mars?
Shhh brain please shut up and listen!
The soft night whispers in my ears.
Pressing through my random fears,
I stand amazed at what I hear.
And now I wonder.
I open up my eyes and see as I feel this winter breeze
The silhouette of leafless trees.
I stand in wonder
Then I wonder about the first man to ever be,
Or the first time he looked up to see
The Milky Way the galaxies.
Did he wonder?
I wonder what he did
How he loved how he lived.
If he ever lost a friend?
Man oh man I wonder.
Was he the first to dig a grave?
How it sounded if he prayed?
How he fought?
How he played?
If that man could see us all today,
What would he say I wonder?
In ways was he a lot like me?
Did he sometimes fear what he could not see?
Did he create unseen walls
I stand and wonder.
Did he ever hurt the ones he loved?
Did life convince him not to trust?
My great grandfather lived
My DNA is shared with him.
I wonder how we are the same,
And I don't even know his name.
Still I wonder.
Will my great grand kids know my name?
Will it even matter who's to say?
Will they look up in wonder?
Will they listen?
Will they be thankful?
Not much I can leave to them
That would matter too much in the end.
I suppose the primal hope in man
Is the hope I hope lives on in them
I hope they wonder. About the universe.
I hope they listen. To life's unspoken verse.
I hope they're thankful. Even in midst of deepest hurts.
I hope they're thankful.
I hope they listen.
I hope they wonder.
And no matter what life hands them,
I hope they hope.
God, please heal this broken soul
And tell me where to go
Because I don't know where to go.
Into Your Arms,
I give my all
Because You're the Only One
Who can catch my fall.
My heart is on Your shoulders,
And You are lifting me up.
With every spoken tender gesture,
I fall a little farther in love.
I don't have all the pieces together;
This puzzle is just too much,
But God already has it figured out
As He is solving this from above.
I do not know?
Well we are already a couple of months in so i just wanted to say welcome.
this will be a new journey for the both of us, so i hope it will be awesome.
I will try to write more than usual this year, I promise. :)
What would help tho if you readers would send me topics and stuff to help me write about things cuz my mind goes way faster than my fingers and i cant think of just one thing. lol. so thank you readers. plz comment and tell me your thoughts.
I am malleable in God’s hands,
No one can shape me like He can,
He never gives me anything that I can’t handle,
He always knows what He is doing,
No one can compare to Him,
He is the father I never had,
I can truly trust, love, and honor Him,
Because He made me,
He loves me,
And I love Him,
I will never be able to put my heart into someone else’s hands with such trust!
Because He is love!
And I am His.
- Inspired by Jeremiah 18:6
Jeremiah 18:6 NIV
“O house of Israel, can I not do with you as the potter does? declares the Lord.
“Like clay in the hands of potter, so are you in my hand, O house of Israel.
By my side:
The tallest mountain,
The calmest pond,
The purest stream;
My hope and strength,
Faith and love;
Always by our side
Before a rainbow appears
there must be a little rain
Before we find true love
we must have a little pain
you might run away from your problems
but your problems still remain
you have to leave the past behind
before you can make a change.
To travel through life successfully
you have to accept life is no bed of roses
and you have to ride the storms
see problems as a challenge
you can learn from
take the bull by the horns.
You can't rely on others
to give you a helping hand
and get on
you may have won a battle
but there maybe a war to overcome.
Life is for living
and serving God up above
to thank him for all he has done
and his love.
Don't put off until tomorrow
what you can do today
or one morning you may wake up
to find it's too late
your old and grey.
You've fallen down again;
How can you let darkness win?
You just scraped your knee,
You didn't break your leg.
It will all be okay;
I will give you strength.
Brush it off, my child;
Come and take my hand.
Let me help you up again;
You will be okay.
I have always been with you,
And I always will be.
I am by your side,
But this time,
Will you allow me to take the lead?
I have fallen victim so many times
To nobody's fault except only mine.
I will ask for forgiveness and have faith,
Even though I feel like I am not saved.
Follow your dreams and follow your heart;
God has shown you the path to start.
Never give up and always have faith;
Do what you love and enjoy this place!
Jesus provides our needs...
Just ask Him and you will see.
Give Him the praise,
He is the Lord of our destiny.
God is faithful to His own...
Praise Him in song.
It pleases Him to be
The one who provides for you and me.
Trust Him to lead...
He is there to help us believe.
His love is unconditional,
Jesus is the rock that we stand on.
He will not fail or leave us...
It is because of Him that we can trust.
Have faith in our Lord and Savior.
It's because of Him that we find favor.
Thank you Lord...
For giving to us Your Son.
Thank you for providing for your own,
For Jesus is our provider and our song.
Lord, I do not know what to do;
Please, lead me by Your side.
Decisions I'm facing are lost and through;
Please, lead me to do what's right.
Like the seraphs whose wings unfold,
Christ's light and glory goes not untold;
as the love of his humble grace
moves inside me all time and space,
as the planets orbit heaven's sun
and encircle it one by one--
so, too, am I caught in his sway,
beloved of him from day to day.
Through hosts of astral dimension
God's angels fix their attention
with expectancy and burning pause
amidst the universe's First Cause.
He, the one true Incarnation
that begets cosmic causation,
resolves the Infinite Regress
from the pre-Socratics' egress
with his omniscient wisdom
and the archives of his kingdom
where all can come and read and know
what miracles he'll yet bestow.
Dear kind and loving Heavenly Father. Humbly I bow my head before you and thank you for all the love and mercies you have shown me. Thank you for giving me a roof over my head and groceries in my cupboards. Thank you for those you have given me. All my family and friends and also those who take care of my soul by feeding it every Sunday and pray for me every day, especially when I am week and sick. I feel your love through them and the powers of their prayers. I know I am not always worthy of your grace but because your son gave his life I rejoice that I have the chance to try and be a better person. Over and over you have forgiven me and I pray you help make me worthy. Help those who are week and lost, let them know and feel your love for nothing can give us more strength and peace then when we are under your wings. Hear the cries from those who are suffering. Please be gracious to them and end their suffering. Father I can never thank you enough for you answering my prayers in the last while. The doctors are amazed how well I have bounced back and I know it's from so many prayers from so many. I will never doubt again the power of prayer and thank you for letting me experience such joy. I pray all this in Jesus name Amen.
A demised man without
Jesus is dead.
So also living soul without
to receive hope,
To set the captives free,
With thirty pieces;he
Dark forces defeated.
Our sins forgiven,sure
Access to the father.
Breach in Adamic time,
Put in oblivion by lasting
His love is lasting.
The death of Jesus!
Lo He has resurrected!
the true art of serving,
according to your heart's content.
works that requires no payback;
ministry with no lay of shame,
where the effort itself can endure,
labors where you can rest assure,
you can be true to what you are going through.
serving with a purpose,
worship with true meaning of worth.
daily living with convictions of righteousness,
fellowship with meaning.
fruits of grace that can't be replaced,
genuine and new every morning dew of it's taste.
like exotic tapestry;
eloquent with every new form of pattern,
always has a message of fresh fire and hope,
enough to gain mercy from what you have lost.
I do not know?
(January 15, 1929 – April 4, 1968)
they shot you down
all those years ago
your dream lives on
and always will
for though much has been
gained since you dreamed
there is much to fight for
and much more to struggle for
and much, much more
to fight for still
your dream resounds in
our hearts and we pledge
this to you today
for though they shot you down
all those years ago on a memphis day
we shall overcome
this we do believe
deep in our hearts
we shall overcome
(for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.)
Hear my prayer oh Lord and let my cry come unto Thee,
Don't hide yourself away from me in the days of my troubles!
Incline your ear to me, Father in the day that I call,
please answer me quite speedily, Heavenly Father hear my prayer.
All honour and praise to you be glory given;
Almighty Saviour, Lord and King:
All of creation by your mighty hand was made,
Before the foundations of this world you came to save me!
Now worthy I come before your throne of grace,
saved by the precious blood you shed;
You gave your life that I might live with you for evermore,
I praise you, Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
Thanksgiving is about
Being thankful for what you have,
Now wht you dont have.
So what's all be
Thankful for this Thanksgiving.
And be with family,
For those who have one
or be with a love.
And also Thank god
Even if you lost everything.
Even if your struggling.
Even if things isnt going your way.
Still Be thankful.
Cause you could be
Going through worest
LIke Most people are.
Oh God, forgiver of all ills,
To thee we lift one voice;
Through thee, our reason is instilled,
Our wills, granted free choice.
Upon the cross on Calvary,
Thy only Son forgave
The errors of humanity;
Our weakened souls, he saved.
Thy justice is all-merciful,
Then sparing tortures that befall
The sloth of weak, impassioned souls.
Thy heavens turn in symmetry,
To follow thy design,
The world obeys the Almighty,
For all power is thine.
I do not know?
Lord make my light shine,
illuminating Your glory
wich doesn't dwindle in the dark
and is the joy thats set before me.
In this lifes uncertain seas
be the wind set in my sail,
be my compass and my anchor,
for You love me without fail
so I know You'd never wreck me
on this course that You are mapping
or allow me to be plundered,
sunk ,or stranded without captain.
No! I shall not be afraid
wether tempest or high tide
for as sure as You are with me
joy and peace in me abide
so my faith is in Your guidance,
not a storm You cannot still.
So direct me with instruction
I choose Your purpose and Your will.
Even when cloud and dark cover
ever confident I'll be
my soul shall look to its lover
who will ever walk with me.
I’m thankful for the sky at night
that fills me up with such delight
like sundaes on a Sunday night.
The moon and stars come out to play
and need no tongues or words to say
the fun they have to be this way.
The sun sleeps in a twinkling tent,
but when it wakes, the moon is sent
to sleep until the day is spent.
Each day the sun awakes to prance
like men at their own wedding dance
will strut and sway to prove romance.
It takes the stage; all eyes are turned
toward its effervescent burn
and feel the warmth its dance will earn.
It has not changed as years go by;
comforting rhythms in the sky
their radiant lessons to apply.
Words aren't enough to sing the song;
all I can do is chant along,
and seek forgiveness when I’m wrong.
Then I can join with meditation
the sun and moon in contemplation
in giving thanks for this creation.
