Oh, what a feeling in me

Oh, what a feeling in me.

Oh, what a feeling in me
To be, on this wonderful day
I’m here on this beautiful morning
I’m alive in a beautiful way
I’m hearing these birds all around me
Just singing a love song for me
It’s a wonderful, beautiful morning
By this river that captivates me.

It be five o clock in the morning
In the joy of this beautiful day
The kookaburra how he be laughing
In such a magnificent way
I think that he knows I am happy
This bird he is laughing for me
Oh, here in this countryside morning
I am filled with such sweet mystery.

The river gets into my being
As I sit here alone in the dawn
It’s wonderful, beautiful feeling
I feel like I’m being reborn
Oh what a sweet combination
All this morning, and nature, and me
I’m in love on this wonderful morning
Just me and this sweet mystery.

Adorable QuiQui

Adorable QuiQui
A green-feathered, yellow head beauty, that’s my prized pet parakeet, QuiQui. Even when she’s often crabby and snappy, she succeeds in making me extremely happy.
QuiQui loves dipping and diving into her bird bath, and hanging from a perch in her cage, like an expert acrobat. She also enjoys shaking water from her wet wings, gazing impishly into her toy mirror wildly shrieking.
Relishing her seeds and red strawberry millet treats, nonchalantly she ignores my sweet endearments and tweets. But she shows off her long, elegant, tapered blue tail, Sitting silently and contentedly unloading quite a poop trail.
And even though QuiQui never utters a single word, I know she secretly loves me too, my little prima donna bird.

Sometimes in June

Sometimes in June

It was a lovely June morning;
Little woolly clouds drifted high up in the sky,
The air was full of sweet scents,
Small groves and groups of trees,
Silence like little lambs.

It was a lovely June morning;
Day had broken,
Cold and gray,
Exceedingly cold and gray,
No sun nor hint of sun,
It was a clear day.

It was a lovely June morning;
I gazed about other creatures in solitary,
An intangible pall over the face of other creatures,
Subtle gloom that surrounded man’s life,
The joyous in the mist of other nature,
Deep thought and tearful happy,
Slowly blush the past event away.

While You Sleep

While you sleep I tell you all of the things I keep inside throughout day.
Now that you can hear but not listen I find them much easier to say.
My hopes, my dreams, my fears, and everything in between
Your subconscious hears so keen, or so it seems.
My tongue is soft; I speak so sweetly
Knowing your reaction will never greet me.

Tonight will be different in what I want you to know.
It has everything to do with what I can’t help but show.
I hold no claim to any religion but you’ve given me a place for my faith.
Somewhere it will never stale or lose its lavish taste.
You’ve shown me something I can see, touch, and feel,
And so before it I choose to kneel.

I know I don’t say it but I miss you every day.
Sitting, thinking of the perfect words to be my choice,
Yet when you call I can’t find any of the right words to say.
I’m just happy to finally hear your voice.
Even just a moment is enough to sooth my heavy heart;
Fearing the ends of conversations knowing we’ll have to part.

I’ll never be too far from you, always within arm’s reach,
And in your days of darkness I’ll be the light that you will seek.
I’ll never let you leave too far from me, I’ll stay close behind you in this world;
Secretly protecting what is mine, you will always be my girl.
I only want the best for you so the best of me I will employ.
Faithfully yours, I will always be your boy.

I close my eyes and kiss your soft sweet lips
And see the very best of you in loving bliss.
I see past the physical which makes you attractive
And focus on the things I can’t see in which I’m attracted.
Your thoughts I’d love to hear them all.
Of the things you speak disinterest never makes its call.

My day will come, I know someday I’ll be the only one.
And you I will pursue viciously,
Because I’ve given you the greatest gift I can give, to love unconditionally.
Yes our day will come, I know someday we’ll be as one.
And you I will pursue viciously,
Because I’ve given you the greatest gift I can give… to love unconditionally.

Willie Wagtail

Willie Wagtail

Willie wagtail wakes the morning
With his song outside my room
He tells me that the day is dawning
And sings away all shades of gloom.

Lovely bird, back black and shiny
With his belly creamy white
He sits there on a roof so finely
Giving my Soul sweet delight
\
‘Morning’s here’ his song is singing
Every note so loud and clear
As his song to me is bringing
A feeling oh, so sweet and dear.

Cliches Debunked

To 'ride on somebody's coat tails' Is the most dangerous thing you can do 'Keep a stiff upper lip' is another cliché Mine's not stiff, how about you? 'One good turn deserves another' Turns my stomach if you must ask 'There's no fool like an old fool' I'm quite offended by the last 'Sticks and stones will break my bones' Can break someone's heart as well So if somebody up and says this to you Tell them to go straight to hell 'A penny for your thoughts' is yet another That's pretty damn cheap I'd say A dollar would certainly be more in line With the times we live in today 'A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush' Who made up this silly old verse A bird in the hand is quite messy I'd say Poop on your fingers or worse So I've come to the obvious conclusion Concerning the debunking of clichés Refuse to use 'em coz people abuse 'em You'll wind up much happier I say © Jack Ellison 2013

Cindy Had A Little Bird

Cindy had a little Bird,
Little Bird, little Bird,
Cindy had a little Bird,
Its feathers were yellow as the sun

And everywhere that Cindy went,
Cindy went, Cindy went,
Everywhere that Cindy went
The Bird was sure to go

It followed her to school one day
School one day, school one day
It followed her to school one day
Which was against the rules.

It made the children laugh and play,
Laugh and play, laugh and play,
It made the children laugh and play
To see a Bird at school

And so the teacher turned it out,
Turned it out, turned it out,
And so the teacher turned it out,
But still it lingered near

And waited patiently about,
Patiently about, patiently about,
And waited patiently about
Till Cindy did appear

"Why does the Bird love Cindy so?"
Love Cindy so? Love Cindy so?
"Why does the Bird love Cindy so?"
The eager children cried

"Why, Cindy loves the Bird, you know."
Loves the Bird, you know, loves the Bird, you know
"Why, Cindy loves the Bird, you know."
The teacher did reply

Little Song Bird

Little song bird in my tree
singing your sweet song for me
singing sweetly, singing clear
your song, it fills me with good cheer.

Little song bird sing your song
with all my heart I'll sing along.
A gift from God you grace the earth
there is no measure to your worth.

Little song bird, wild and free
when you leave, will you take me?
Together we could soar so high
across the endless, azure sky.

Little song bird, singing high above
your song, it fills my heart with love.
little song bird in my tree
with your song you set me free.

A Bird In Flight

While the wind blew swiftly.
The bird flew thrifty.
Flapping its wings.
Faster and harder.
Against the wind.
The bird flew like it was blind.
Swirling all around the skyline.
All at once the wind calmed down.
The bird came through town.
Soaring its wings.
As it roared right past me.
To find rest upon a clothes line.

Look

Look from inside yourself and you will see.
All the splendor of God's creativity.
Flowers mountains bird bees
Animals and plants of all species.
Beautiful sights to please the eyes.
All people of every color shape and size.
Look at yourself your are God's prize.
Built by his hands so healthy and strong.
Given the strength to always carry on.
The beauty of life is open like a book.
In every little cranny and nook.
God's love is always there
All you have to do is look.
Everything is within your grasp
All you have to do is ask.
Look to God to complete all tasks.
See the bird fly and see his grace.
The beauty of God is in every Human's face.
Look! His love shines brighter than sunrays.
Look to God and you will be happy all your days.

Wildflowers

Standing out in a field alone, a little white flower named Daisy longed for someone to share her world.
One day a blue flower named Bachelor Button entered her world they became friends.
She knew by his name that he was not the propagating kind, but that didn’t stop their relationship she called him BB short for best bud.
The seasons of Spring & Summer they enjoyed the sun, laughed in the rain and held on fast in the Fall.
Winter came it was long and hard they were both covered in a blanket of snow, not knowing whether they would ever see each other again or even survive .The snow fell then came the ice, this went on for months.

The Sun shone brightly the first day of spring. A few days later warmth of the sun melted the snow, Daisy popped up .
I’ve been waiting days for you to come out, said BB, they both chanted hooray!
The snow was completely gone in a few days, the birds started building their nests , bugs were crawling around ,butterflies began to visit the two flowers. I wish there were more of us Daisy said, to BB.

They laughed as the sun and wind blew through their leaves. Then it started the sun and rain took turns until one morning the air & field was filled with the smell of flowers.

Daisy and BB looked at each other and asked what kind of flowers are these ? they’re not white like daisies they’re not blue like bachelor buttons. They did not know the birds and bugs carried the seeds from the two of them and the caterpillars buried them under the soil.
The seeds from the new flowers were then carried by the winds many miles away, they landed in fertilized gardens and flourished, although they faced danger everyday.
as they were called WEEDS ..
The Gardener pulls weeds out of the garden so they don’t choke the flowers, which cost a lot of money and require lots of maintenance.

However there was a Gardener who saw her friends spending hours weeding their garden , that they didn’t have enough time to admire and enjoy the labors of their love
So she set out to give a home to all the weeds ,she provided a place where they could fit in and multiply, they required no maintenance, rain provides their water .

The best part of all is their beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Ask my granddaughter-- What are those flowers in the garden ?
She will answer "WILDFLOWERS " their parents were Daisy and BB

Soaring High

Soaring High
Looking up I spot a bird; floating in the sky just soaring way up high. Graceful with wings spread never seeming to move slowly he circles around. In the distance another calls out as joining in this dance in the sky! The two ever higher begin their decent slow and mythological. What feels like hours I watch enjoying the sight drifting downward? What beauty the two birds display as they dare soar closer with each pass.
At last I can tell their hawks. A pair I’m sure for they fly together and call out to one another. I watch as one pauses on a tree limb looking about. The other still circling above and calls out once again. An answer comes from the beauty on the limb.
Amazed I watch the other land on the bird bath. What a sight to see as the smaller one now splashes in the bath. Clean and dry off she flies into the trees. The big hawk again into the sky higher and higher I watch him soar. Soon he’s high enough it’s difficult to tell this graceful soaring bird is the hawk from my backyard. A cry from afar and then he too disappears from my sight.
I find myself looking up watching and waiting for soaring high I’ll see my hawks. The graceful dance in the sky I know will lead them to the bird bath along with the branch where he sits and waits. A cry will sound in the distance alerting me of their intended arrival. My hawks will soar high circling with grace till they dare once more visit a while.
                                                                                              Debbie Knapp.

Hills where I wander

Hills Where I wander.

In the beautiful hills where I wander
With the velvet grass so lush and oh, so green.
They take me into depths in which I ponder
As I’m stunned by all this beauty here that’s seen.
As I walk along I hear the sound of thunder
Of the river as it crashes down those hills.
And as I walk, and as I listen and I wonder
I am stoned by every moment that I feel.

How that Kookaburra laughs so high above me
As he loudly gives his thanks for each new day.
And my troubles take a rest my burdens lifted
And I’m drunk with life and everything’s okay.
Those hills they be alive with magic moments
As the sun it paints them every kind of hue.
It’s perfection, and could never need improvement
As all around the sky be pristine blue.

Here be I, and there’s the hills so soft and silent
And this feeling it does fill my heart with joy
And the peace within a mind which had been violent
Be such a thing that cannot be destroyed.
Oh thank you Lord for giving me this morning
That never it will die within my being.
For this beauty that has got my mind a reeling
I know it be the truth that I be seeing.

The birds are coming

The birds are coming

The birds are coming
The dusk be closing in
The evening silence, coming soon
Makes way for screeching din
Of crazy birds of pink and grey
All falling from the sky
Alighting near the feeding tray
As daylight starts to die

So beautiful, the sun shines bright
Pink feathers come aflame
As dancing, screeching, crazy birds
Enjoying life’s sweet game
They argue as each pulling rank
Will try to get first feed
Those pink and grey galahs they be
A somewhat noisy breed.

Too soon, they’re gone
So very suddenly
They hurl themselves into the sky`
As off and flying free
They fly up to their safe abodes
Among the tall green trees
To slumber neath the starry skies
So wonderful they be.

Two Hearts full of Love

I am a heart full of love
that shook the pilars that held her colussium up
her heart filled with sorrow,
I swing such fury toward her heart and soul
she cowards away from me,
in fear of falling in love and not knowing what is in black
and not searching what is in the light of pure white.

I am a heart full of love,
she runs and takes the long dirt road,
through the raging mountains of the quiet countryside,
as the meadows of lilacs slowly die when Spring comes,
the blooming of the rose,
like the blooming of my heart,
a blossom on a cherry tree fall and harbour in the wintertime.
I swing toward her, she falls in fear of wanting attention and love.
Lost in the midnight twilight,
the flaming torch guides her through the dark holes of meaningless souls.
and like a frightened hummingbird,
she flees away from the secrets of falling in love.

A heart full of love ready to love,
it is diffcult to feel and to show,
but as if a rose that blooms in Springtime
my love is ready to bloom.

Pettles lay along a darkened atmosphere
lit up only with four wax candles
a portrait of a woman hung over a mantel piece
in honour of my one true love.

As the twilight shine though my bedroom window,
I show a heart full of love,
to take and to hold for eternity.

And as she slowly moves forward,
she takes me home with her,
and opens her chest and shows me her heart
with a glass of red wine and charming cigarette.
She sheads tears of pain and sorrow on my broud shoulder,
I curise her hair, silk laced hair,
shining against the twilight and the moonlit sky.

My heart full of love,
so divine, so original
a one of a kind.

We make love in the midst of the twilight,
as my dream girl is now reality and my pain is no more,
her pain is no more.
Too show such love makes a man feel free
and his soul lighter.
She holds him there,
as the sun rises over the mountains.
The birds sing a tune of cheerfulness,
and they talk about everything beautiful and kind,
that is still left in this cruel and empty hearted world.

Romance and love shared
with a heart full of love,
smile and kiss upon smooth lips,
feel me against your tight body,
and love me till the morning
when Blue eyed Death is staring us in the face.
and we go with him,
and play a game of risk,
and together forever,
onto a diffrent world
we shall love each other forever,
for you and I both have a heart full of love.

Early morning feelings

Early morning feelings

I sit me, here amidst the flowers
And play the poets role
As branches dancing on the breeze
Give magic to my soul
Sweet music plays on the stereo
As the birds, it seems, join in
And fill the air with harmony
That quietens minds dull din.

Then rose shrubs pink and orange flowers
Send their perfume out to me
As I sit here in my comfy chair
And listen endlessly
To the silence all around
That holds the many sounds
In this garden dressed in bliss
Such solace can be found.

No work for me, not ever now
I watch the day go by
And drink in beauty peacefully
That all around does lie
As I peer into my deepest soul
And see what lies in there
On this cloudy early morn
With sweetness everywhere.

Little town of Pemberton

Little town of Pemberton.

Oh, little town of Pemberton
You’ve stole my heart away
I wake up clutched within your bosom
And greet each new born day
With heart made bright by what I see
The magnitude of you
The birds sing out, Wake up, wake up
As they ride your skies so blue.

Oh, little town of Pemberton
As the morning sun shines down
I breath into me, soft clean air
And stroll towards your town
As everywhere I look I see
Your special kind of beauty
To sing your praises joyfully
I feel this be my duty.

Pemberton, my heart lights up
As I look into your skies
Through canopies of deepest green
Is it any wonder why
Some folk, they travel untold miles
To catch a glimpse of you
Oh, Pemberton, sweet Pemberton
With the sky a cloudy hue

Oh little town of Pemberton
You live within my soul
Just walking through your wonderland
Has helped to make me whole
Your waterways, and giant forests
And the depth of your blue skies
Will make me love you, Pemberton
Until the day I die.

Crappy Day

Every fall the birds begin to fly south for the winter.
This one particular bird hated the journey and would do almost anything to get out of it.
He decided to wait until the very last possible minute and told the rest of the flock
that he would stay behind for 4 more weeks and that he would catch up to them later.
Four weeks later the snow began to fall and the little bird thought it best to finally leave.
After about 6 hours into flying, it started to rain and the rain turned into ice on his little wings. The birds wings froze up and he fell out of the sky straight in to a barn yard.
Freezing and almost dead, the little bird was lying there barely breathing when out from behind the barn a horse walked up to the little bird, squatted and crapped all over the poor thing. The little birds only thought was that he never emagined ever dying like this.
After a few minutes the manure started to warm the little fella and he started to move around and began sing-ing his little heart out.
A big cat came running from the house to investigate where all the noise was comming from. He dug in to the pile of crap until he found the little bird. He cleaned him off and then ate him.
There are three morals to this story
(1) Not everyone who craps on you is your enemy
(2) Not everyone who takes your crap is your friend
And (3)  Whenever you are rolling with excitement;
even if its in a big pile of crap, Keep your big mouth shut.

The power of life

The power of life

It’s so refreshing, sitting here
On the banks of Margaret river
Such a wondrous kind of feeling
My life, it does deliver
As I sit here on this patio
Letting world just seep on in
The sound of birds the breeze a singing
Oh my, what a lovely din.

So many birds here in this land
So many different songs
I sit here in this morning light
And I know that I belong
To all this wondrous stuff around me
I am it, and it is me
I know it when I hear that breeze
It’s a song of mystery.

Oh, what joy to be alive
On this lovely summer morn
Oh how wonderful to see
This new day being born
Oh, what joy to listen to
This bird song symphony
Oh what power there is in life
What power there is in me.

The pleasure of the lake

The pleasure of the lake

Each day I charge my batteries
With a stroll down to the lake
It's a must, to walk those wetland trails
It gives the mind a break
From all the turmoil of each day
It's a journey into peace
As those dancing trees that ride the breeze
Give my soul such sweet release.

So many things there, one might see
In those wetland trails I walk
I find there at Lake Joondalup
A place where nature talks
With wild birds everywhere one looks
And frogs, and kangaroos
Little lizards, perhaps a snake
So much there welcomes you.

That such a place could dwell in Perth
This gives me so much pleasure.
Communing each new day with nature
To mne, this be a treasure.
This lake, it reaches out to me
And tells me 'Life is good'
It's such a joy to have this lake
Here in our neighbourhood.

Happiness

The funny rollick of kittens at play,
the whispered hush, I hear snowfall say.
Puddles to splash in, fires to warm by.
That heart tugging pull of a newborns cry.

Are but a few things that will come to mind,
while breathing deeply, trying to unwind.
After a day of chaos and stress,
I let my mind go, to the things I like best.

A child learning to eat spaghetti,
lots of napkins, fork at the ready.
A momma bird at the nest feeding her young.
The song of bird when a new days begun.

You can't help but smile at these things,
with the images, the thoughts of them bring.
Just close your eyes to see, smell and feel,
the happiness, so vivid and real.

I have it all

I have it all

What need I, I have it all
There’s nothing that I need
This garden offers everything
Oh, yes, it does indeed
Those branches dancing on the breeze
Green parrots gentle call
Soft music on the stereo
Oh yes, I have it all.

No treasures in this whole wide world
Could give me any more
One moment spent among the flowers
This be what I adore
Hibiscus with its purple flowers
Those softly cooing doves
Soft green leaves in the morning sun
Oh, all of this I love.

Those dark grey clouds that fill the sky
Give off a hint of rain
As I wait to feel the velvet drops
I’m like a man insane
Drinking in the sweet damp air
And this beauty all around
I open up my heart and soul
To the harmony here found.

How many times have you been happy

How many times have you been happy

How many times, I ask you all
Have you been really happy?
How many times have you laughed with joy?
And felt so very free
Just because you’re filled with life
No help from booze, or drugs
How many time have you let a smile
Give your heart a happy hug?

When did you stop and let your life
Just thrill you through and through
Without fulfilling some desire
Or some dream coming true
How many times were you forced to smile
Cause the sun shines high above?
Or you heard the sound of a singing bird
And your heart just filled with love.

How many times have you let fear go
And faced life unafraid
And felt the you, the total you
That really cannot fade
How many times have you rejoiced
Because you just love life?
How many times have you filled with joy
All free from worry and strife?

STORY OF THE TREES

I talked to trees about you.
I told them “don’t they importunate.”
“I texted you already”
I miss you every day.
Will tell you I need to do something
Once upon a time in a faraway mountain
Speaking in a language
Only the wind and lost people understood
A group of trees stood

I told them “I usually talk to someone every day”.
It’s a big change to be in this mountain
And they the trees said
“So why don’t you talk to him everyday”
I told him “he is far”.
And the trees said “but you are still far”
I told tree “yes it’s both the same being far”
But here in this mountain I am not free
So this is a big change for me

So the trees said
“You can still talk to him”
“We will bring your thoughts”
“And let it cross to oceans”
“Until your memory matches”
But I said if I keep thinking I might suffer
And I might run to cross the ocean myself
And the trees said “when we too feel this we pray to our maker”
“Because trees practice patience too”

I told them that I know that, but I thank them for reminding me.
I also told them “that because we talked everyday for a long time.”
I can be patient not to talk to him for a long time because God gave me that as a gift in advance.
So patience is just a small payment for this silence.
So I am calm already.
I told them “he loves trees too”
And he used to climb mountains when he was younger.
So they like you too

I also told them that you got your back pain from trotting the hills
So they told me “when you come back home talk to him about us”
They said “tell him we kept you company”
“And we tried not to let our twigs and branches fall on your hut when the wind is strong”
I also told them that you have lectures about trees.
And they drooled over it.

One tree said “oh he seems to be a good guy”
I told them you are pretty too.
There are many trees there.
Some of them have holes in the middle.
Wounds made from fighting between the military and the freedom fighters
But they stand still oblivious to their surrounding and their predicament

They are as tall as three to four storey buildings.
And they are thick while some have hollow centers
Ah trees have seen so many things
I hope they didn’t get tired of my staring
With my niqab they can see my eyes so tired

I have to sleep.
We will talk again tomorrow
The durian there is creamy
Gift of Allah to those who can’t go home.
In the month of Ramadan
I sleep and tomorrow we talked.

My Heart Sings

As the first rays of sunshine
wakes me out of my sleepy slumber,
I sat up in bed and looked at my hands.
The taste of stale cigarette smoke of cheap red wine
stained my taste buds.
I walked out of bed,
turned on the radio
(to the classical station)
and my heart beats to the tune
my life and soul smile as the sun shines in my room.
I hear God whispering in my ear
I hear all the words of the world
talking to me,
and I can hear my heart sing a little.
I read my poetry,
get dressed go for a walk,
I smile at the faces that I pass;
The cars I pass,
the houses,
the trees,
the dry lawns,
burnt and that have not been watered in days.
I smile at them and they all smile back,
and my heart sings a little,
and I dance to its simple tune.

My heart sings and I dance too:
slowly melodies,
fast jigs,
rapid jazz and swing music
and waltzes to the chopin masterpieces,
and the romantic stories, novels, the poems,
that fancy your mind with its ryhme schemes,
and after I read such romantic beauty
I smile, and I listen closely to my heart,
and with every beat,
it lets out a verse or two, from a familiar song
that caught my ear on the radio,
and my heart sings
and I smile,
and the world smiles back.

Feeling such beauty
love and romance
it is such a good feeling to live with;
and as the night rolls on,
and the sun goes away
I sit at my desk
writing poetry,
with a cigarette slowly burning away with time,
and I am stuck,
getting drunk of red wine,
I sit back in my chair,
and listen to my heart,
and he sings alittle
and I can write again.
So, there we sit together,
writing poetry,
smoking cigarettes,
drinking wine
to the strike of nine
and we both sing songs of love and romance
together forever.

Bird Talk

A bird sat in a tree
And looked down at me
And said rather musically “uh huh”
He cocked his head to one side
And then the other
Peering straight at me
I of course replied, “uh huh”
Imitating his spontaneous bird talk
He hopped back a step, surprised
Understanding, then answered back, “uh huh”
Delighted with our conversation
I replied with a friendly “uh huh”
I know our conversation is limited
But I’m happy to carry on
This inter specie dialogue
A connection, a shared moment
I’m sure he understands
Nodding his head in affirmation
Then he rattled on and on,
Uh huh, uh huh, uh huh

My Kingdom

My Kingdom

When I’m in my garden
I’m a King, I have a throne
I sit here very solitary
I am happy on my own

All my subjects gather round
The birds, the flowers, the trees
And all those noisy Sand gropers
The frogs, and all the bees.

Canaries have a special place
They play music for my court
Often wild birds join along
As I sit wrapped in thought.

My courtyards are not tidy
All the bushes cling together
But hey, they give me so much shade
In our hot sticky weather.

So I sit and write my memoirs down
Like a good King really should
As I sit here in my kingdom
And I really feel so good.

Not the material guy

Not the material guy

I’m not the material guy
Ambitions were never for I
I’m always the one
That gets noting done
I’m a dreamer, I cannot deny.

My mind it is not very clever
My heart is as light as a feather
My manner is free
Like a bird in a tree
And I never will worry, not ever

Just like a river I’ll flow
And always my heart it will glow
I won’t push the river
So life does deliver
A feeling that each day does grow

Until the day that I die
I won’t let a day pass me by
Without looking at me
At within, what I be
As always I’ll ask ‘Who am I?’

A Beautiful Fall Morning

Very early Fall morning…crisp and clear.
Sitting on the patio, sipping hot coffee.
Only my path to and from the bird feeders,
Rain gutters hung on the stockade fence,
Has disturbed the beautiful, glistening dew
Blanketing a lush, green Bermuda lawn
Awaiting the season’s final mow and a Winter sleep.
Early morning sunsmile creates a mist, a little fog,
That artists have great difficulty recreating.
And the sprinklers are making music too….
CH CH CH CH CH CH CH CH
As I filled those bird feeders,
Only the patient cooing of white wing dove
Waiting in the surrounding trees
Could barely be heard above the sprinkler.
CH CH CH CH CH CH CH CH
Feeders filled, I walked away.
The air erupted with bird song.
Our giant privets were alive with hungry sparrows,
Each announcing breakfast.
All the locals seemed to understand.
The robins and larks, the finches and cardinals chimed in;
But only the jays’ sharp calls could be heard above the din.
What a ruckus…but so beautiful a song,
It is a ‘wall of sound’ to be envied by rockers.
Orchestrated by Mother Nature….Mrs. God.
The sprinkler's barely heard....
ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch

Squirrels wait out of sight.
One may bark now and then, but
They’ve learned that patience pays.
It’s not just time to feed those damn birds;
It’s time to feed the greedy squirrels too;
And chow time is well worth the wait:
Sunflower seeds. Peanuts. Suet. Dried fruit.
You can almost hear them as they gobble,
“Mmmmmm. Man, this is the good stuff, Bro’.
I mean the good stuff. What a life.
I’ll never leave…not even for a girl squirrel.”
It’s as if they think they’ll never eat again;
Every morning.
As if we hadn’t been feeding them
Every day of their lives…and their parents.
If we could tell them apart.
They would have names.

Well....everybody's happy.
All this and good coffee too.
What a beautiful Fall morning.

Dawn is breaking

Dawn is breaking

Willie wagtail in my garden
Sings a very special song
Telling me the sun is coming
Dawn will break soon, won’t be long
It’s dark outside with full moon shining
But soon the light will show its face
Green parrot makes his bell like music
How his song has so much grace

Kookaburra, he is laughing
Something funny has touched him
Could he be laughing at us human’s
With all our wars and crazy din?
Spring is just around the corner
And all of nature seems to know
As I sit here in the morning
My world it has a special glow.

Now the world has gone all silent
Waiting for the dawn to break
Soon the chorus is beginning
Singing just for loves own sake
All the birds will join the chorus
And my heart will start to sing
How I love these life soaked mornings
Such joy to me they always bring.

Those blessed wetland trails

Those blessed wetland trails.

The sun is shining lazily
The sky is azure blue
As green leaves dance with the morning breeze
The birds be singing too
They sing a serenade of bliss
And peace is all around
As all along these wetland trails
Blue lupins can be found.

The perfume heavy in the air
It speaks of wild geraniums
The young ferns looking soft and green
And all those tall wild gums
Give out a rather pungent scent
A smell I've learned to love
As parrots screech in blissfull joy
In those trees there high above.

The lake, she glimmers neath the sun
As the ducks give lazy quacks
My feet scrape on the sand and gravel
As I stroll along this track.
Trees all gnarled and and twisted
Form a tunnel just for me
Oh I could write forever
But for now, I'll leave it be.

I give you me

I give you me

The green grass all around me
Seems so velvet soft this morning
As two wagtails whistle tunefully
As we sit amidst the Roses
Your blue eyes look so gentle
And send your magic essence right into me.

My mystic, magic maiden
How you smile just like an angel
As the sadness in your eyes it whispers to me
That you have suffered cruelly
And because I love you truly
I know that I must treat you tenderly.

I’ll do my best, to make you happy
I’ll give you joy, I’ll give you me
I’ll give you all I have
so very joyfully
I‘ll give you me….All of yours I be..

I’ll love you magic maiden
Till the day we be no more
You have my heart, so treat it very gently
We’ll face our lives together
Through fine and stormy weather
You’ll always have my love
I give you me.

Through that door

Through that door

As the Sun crashed through my window
As the birds awoke the dawn
My mind made new by daybreak
It became the day reborn.
And a whisper stirred within me
From my heart arose these words
“Go through that door to the other side
Then you’ll “hear” these blessed birds”.

And those trees did softly rustle
In the early morning breeze.
And I became the morning
and the breeze that moved these trees
And the whisper softly told me
As the dawn it beckoned me
“Go through that door to the other side
Then you’ll dance just like those trees”.

Through that door, through that door
Go through that door beyond.
Just keep on moving to the other side
Let the shadows all be gone.

That door seemed so elusive
When I sought it with my mind
Then the whisper seemed to tell me
Just leave your mind behind
Then I felt the sweetest music
As the trees they shone so bright
And as I wandered through that door
I felt such sweet delight

The start of the day

The start of the day

The wind is kind of wild again
As I sit on the patio
The river filled with morning rain
Looks wondrous in it's flow

As the wind does put her in top gear
She speeds upon her way
She has one goal, to reach the ocean
On this very rainy day.

Along the furthest shore there be
Some trees, with life all done
And yet they seem to have much beauty
As they glow beneath the Sun.

A Kookaburra Laughs out loud
Then he lands upon a tree
He looks so handsome and so proud
As he peers on down at me.

A group of ducks come waddling by
They're looking for a feed
These blessed birds, they know that I
Will fill their every need.

Just then the wife gets out of bed
And I make her morning tea
And I cook for her some toasted bread
As we sit here happily.

Then the morning comes to life
And the working day begins
Replacing all that's natural
With the weight of human din.

Flying High In The Aqua-Blue Sky

High…way up high in the aqua blue sky,
I see a black and white checkered kite…
floating higher and higher than I, myself…
But, I was shoved
Into another shelf…

High…way up high in the aqua blue sky,
2 birds were flying together in harmony… it made me smile
If only…I could fly another mile…
If only…I could higher my smile…
If only…I could fly higher
If only…I could taste ecstasy…
people would accuse me as a liar
If I experienced the best day of my life…

But, I don’t wanna live with undying strife…
I want peace…
Hand it over, please…
Hand me the keys
So I could experience perpetual peace

I took flight like those bird couples…
But, I was on an airplane…

High…way up high in the aqua blue sky,
I wouldn’t be greedy for gain…
I’m trying to act sane…
But, I’m actually insane
In many ways…I love my uniqueness…
And my stubbornness… and my gladness…
And my madness… my imagination goes wild
But, I need to put it on a leash…so I could remain mild

High…way up high in the aqua blue sky,
I’d feel the rain
Trickle down my hands…my wet, wrinkly hands

High…way up high in the aqua blue sky,
No one would understand
How awesome and wonderful I’ve felt that day…
Up there…
up there…I felt like a king…
But, now I lost that memory…I lost my ring
To success…but I’m willing to pick up my progress…
My pace…is slow like a snail’s pace
Do you see me crying? Just look at my face…

High…way up high in the aqua blue sky,
I’m the clouds absorbing tears

High…way up high in the aqua blue sky,
I’d be willing to release them…

but they’ve been stored up forever it seems
And…hell – I have been
Shaking with fear…
Breaking by the seams

High…way up high in the aqua blue sky,
I was……..
Daydreaming again…
My mind was stuck on cloud 7…
Thank heavens
That I’m still alive – staring into space
Just look at my sopping face…

I see no grace…I see only a pathetic face
In the mirror…….

This little dream of mine
Was rather sublime
I was a sweet boy,
but now I’m sour like lime

If I were a bird,
I'd fly away from my problems...

I'll flutter away
Without a care in the world...

I want to be happy-go-lucky...
But, I'm bound to submit to my

Misery.............................

Spring is on its way

Spring is on its way

Spring is really on its way
It’s such a lovely, lovely day
The sun it shines so very brightly
Oh, spring, it really does delight me

The birds they flit from tree to tree
They sing there songs delightfully
They know that spring is in the air
It seems that joy is everywhere.

The fish are racing round, and round
Because some female they have found
They want to keep there kind a going
As sensuality is growing

Oh, when spring is in the air
The whole world seems to have no care.

Fowls

The northern songbirds will tune the note in due season.
Swans are graceful and white without any real reason.

The gander goose is genius in always going the right way
And a cuckoo bird calls sanity “THE MENTALLY ILL TODAY”

A starling bird knows the star spangle banner
And the finch is our little companion
Completed in his manners.

The canary is considerate in caring
For his master and Falcons are eagerly
Catching their prey even faster.

The woodpecker knocks on the front door of the house
And a cat bird is successful in capturing the little mouse.

The robins are souring in a neighborhood
Nearby and an eagles impeccable vision
Sharpens with the two eyes.

A mighty Kingbird rules the region that’s
All around and the faithful keep our rock doves
“ Foundations of the Ground”

All turkeys are celebrating on Thanksgiving day
and a blue jay can participate in every single game.

The multitude on earth could never really be measured
And Birds of a Feather are constantly flocking themselves together…..

Evening lullaby

Oh hear thee well the music
It’s the Maggies lullaby
They’re warbling in that Banksia tree
As the day begins to die.
And their haunting goodnight serenade
Says goodbye to the day
As the Sun lies down to sleep the night away.

Just four weeks from our Spring
My heart feels so alive
As I’m sitting on my garden seat
It be an hour since five.
And as those maggies hush their song
The fountain carries on
She’ll still be heard when all be hushed and gone.

Six Buddha’s seem to sense the silence
There’s a certain kind of glow
As I melt into the evening time
And swim within the flow.
And the evening says “it’s time to rest
Until the blessed morn
Now each must die, on the morrow be reborn”.

A time of pleasure

A time of pleasure.

It’s time to rise, the morn has come

A wondrous time, I’m never glum

When I hear those magpies sing

I guess I just love everything

About these lovely morning hours

It’s time to walk and smell the flowers

With my Bear dog by my side

As each new moment’s deified.

As C moon rides the velvet skies

The Kookaburras laughing cries

They touch my heart with mystery

These morning times will always be

Of very grand signification

I wake up, filled with sweet elation

To meditate for just a while

For this, it makes my morning smile.

I walk outside, and feel the air

Then walk the streets with nary a care

It’s a thing that gives me so much pleasure

These morning times I really treasure

For here in good old Aussie land

These morning hours so sweet and grand

They fill me up with so much power

Oh how I love these morning hours.

The bubble deep within

The bubble deep within

Beyond the din in all of us
There’s a core of happiness
Just like a small bird in a tree
Who just let’s life’s caress
Cloak him in its sweet delight
Then flees from a bird of pray
Yet returns and sings again his song
As he celebrates the day.

We humans all have this within
Behind the foolish din
All one has to really do
Is take a look within
Behind all of life’s misery
There’s a bubble deep inside
And all it really wants to do
Is come out from where it hides.

Most they wallow in there mire
They’re choked by all those weeds
Buried in their deep desires
Drowned within their greed
So filled with wants they do not see
The sweetness of their lives
But still this bubble deep within
Is there, it still survives.

This moment now

This moment seems so wonderful
Just a few short days of rain
Then grass that grows beneath my feet
 Be velvet green again
The dry, hot days have waved ‘good bye’
Lord breeze be cool and fresh
As dancing trees that line the lake
 They sing with happiness.

In the sky, there forms a herd of clouds
As the trees caress the day
The sound of raucous Ravens heard
 Echo from skies so grey
As nature tames the wild in me
 I walk these lakeside trails
With nothing reaching out to me
 But sweet, eternal now.

 So wonderful, so beautiful
 As seasons come and go
The breath of nature shows the way
 And with it’s restless glow
It shows me circles, only circles
 And breathes into my soul
And with it’s breath of mystery
It makes me feel so whole.

Spring is seeping in

Spring is seeping in

I can feel it seeping in
Spring season’s on it’s way
Lord Sun is shining vibrantly
It’s a precious kind of day
One fountain gurgles pleasantly
While another chuckles low
There’s a kind of magic in the air
That kind of makes me glow.

This wondrous essence that I feel
It be so strong in me
I guess I’m not the only one
In everyone it be
It seems though few have felt it
They keep it hid within
Yet when it moves into ones soul
The dance it must begin

A Honey eater with striped face
Breaks into tender song
He has the most delightful voice
That really does belong
Within the heart of every man
It gives such sweet delight
As I sit here soaking beauty in
The sun shines soft, yet bright.

Today I hit the wetland trails

Today I hit the wetland trails

Today I hit the wetland trails
I’ve not done this for a while
It’s not the same as the older days
When I used to walk for miles
My body’s getting older now
I’m easing off a bit
And yet these wetlands filled with life
I love them, I admit.

Whilst walking I got kind of high
The clouds were in the sky
As the rain was teeming down
I heard the ravens cry
As two of them flew over head
Giving out their lonely calls
There’s something about these big black birds
That be so beautiful.

Then I saw a flock of swallows
About a hundred strong
They were not singing tenderly
I heard no kind of song
But my, those birds, they seemed to dance
They whirled and twirled around
And put my mind into a trance
As I trod the grassy ground.

I walked for just an hour or two
As that rain, it soaked the earth
Oh. Walking through these wetland trails
Is a thing of so much worth
Then I went home to write some poems
To celebrate my day
And let the day just do its thing
As I went on my way.

My lake Joondalup

My lake Joondalup.

Lake Joondalup
There’s a place I like to be
So filled with every kind of tree
And birds of every shape I see
Where roos, they come right up to you
And the Parrots act so tame
I love that lake in Joondalup
I’ve always felt the same.

Oh, you should hear the volume
Of the screeches, song and chatter
The noise it nearly deafens one
Till nothing really matters
It all becomes a part of you
As it seeps into your soul
That bird din mesmerizes me
And makes me feel so whole.

One can sit there by the water’s edge
In an alcove all alone
There’s little benches everywhere
I sit here on my own
Watching all the wading birds
The Storks, the Ducks the swans
The Ibis and the White egrets
And on, and on, and on.

Lake Joondalup
It’s an addiction to my soul
When there, I am a happy man
It’s a fifty minute stroll
From my house, and It’s worth it too’
It’s a peaceful little place
Whenever I sit here by this lake
A smile lights up my face.

The Pessimist and The Optimist

Part I - The Pessimist

I am a person without a name
I am a fire without a flame
I am a flower that will never bloom
I am a house without a room
I am a candle that will never melt
I am a feeling that cannot be felt
I am a picture without a frame
I am a goal, without any aim
I am a winner without a prize
I am a party without a surprise
I am a dreamer without a dream
I am a river without a stream
I am a poem without a rhyme
I am a clock that won't show you the time
I am a portrait without a face
I am a trial without a case
I am a key that won't open the door
I am a toy you don't want anymore
I am a bird that forgot how to fly
I am a joker, but I always cry
I am a thing that was never in use
I am a game that somebody will lose
I am a story that will never end
Well, I'm just somebody you won't understand.

:(

Part II - The Optimist

I am a person with a beautiful name
I am a fire with most powerful flame
I am a flower that will always bloom
I am a house with room after room...
I am a candle that burns through the night
I am a feeling of lovers' delight
I am a picture with a solid frame
I am a healer, I carry no shame
I am a winner with the top, 1st place prize
I am a party with the biggest surprise
I am a dreamer with colorful dreams
I am a river with thousands of streams
I am a poem with a perfect rhyme
I am a clock that will show any time
I am a portrait of an angelic face
I am a trial with a strong, worthwhile case
I am a key that unlocks any door
I am a toy you will always adore
I am a bird that soars high in the sky
I am a joker, I forgot to cry
I am a thing that you'll always use
I am a game that you just cannot lose
I am a story that will never end
I am a trip! Come, join me my friend!

Tiny Bird

I can’t complain I’m sheltered and fed
But this nagging ambition still builds in my head
Of what was written and what was said
Of a lonely road far from my bed

You don’t venture far tiny bird in the thicket
The home you mind is safe from the wicked
It’s a shame you can’t fly far away
And see all the cultures time built on its way
With the people of both peace and war
And the beauty of things in nature to adore
But your home is well kept and happy it seems
But what of your heart, your wishes and your dreams

I can’t feel shame it would make me weaker
About the wasted moments left to the meeker
The scoundrel in me keeps my heart from fever
But fever is wanted by my soul the dreamer

So tiny bird would you say you much wiser
The time you spend you count like a miser
Or is it that you take simple love in your day
In the little you make from the soil and the clay
Do the storms bother you at all little one?
Do the storms keep you hiding waiting for the sun?
I see the light is there in the weather so destructive
Are clouds to you renewal or counter productive?

I take it we differ in thought and song
Though I can no longer say yours is wrong
But I take from you a lesson - a lovely subtraction
In the happiness to be found in simple satisfaction

Happiness lies in the simple things -

hearing birdsong when one awakens
in the early morning
observing the morning sun
creating diamonds from dewdrops
seeing a baby's smiling face
watching a spider spin its web
feeling the bark of an old faithful tree
watching baby animals at play
being dazzled by brilliant sunshine
streaming from a clear blue and white sky

Joe

Another season has started and he's ready to go.
For the Bobwhite Quail is this hunters foe.
He's one beautiful dog,but he's not for show,
for not many of birds have out smarted old-Joe.

He's been lying in the yard now for months on end
just waiting and waiting for a hunt to begin.
I'll walk up to Joe and say "It's time to hunt Quail"
then I'll open my tailgate and let out a yell!

Old Joe goes from sleeping to straight on his feet,
for this is one bird dog no other can beat.
I'll just smile and rub on his back
for I've seen Joe point to many to sack.

Old Joe has a gift like no other dog.
He once pinned a whole cubby inside of a log.
He looks like a pirate chasing after his loot.
Sometimes he'll just catch them and I won't get to shoot.

People use to ask me wherever we went
where I had found Joe and how much had I spent.
I would just smile and say,"I don't really know"
for no one could have my secret to Joe.

See now days men just scream and they holler
at beaten down dogs all strapped with tight collars.
If's it's a bird dog you've got and are trying to reach,
first you show love then you go teach.

A dog has to love what he's doing inside
or else he won't hunt,he'll just run off and hide.
For Joe's the best bird dog there ever will be
'cause I have loved Joe and he has loved me.

Ode to a Canary

His name was Mr Cinnamon
and he loved to sing.

Lost among the masses yet within the throng
he lifted his head and began a song.
Without thought the mass would open and part
the burdened would feel an uplifted heart.
The songs, each one, were simple and pure
and none could escape the magical allure
of the one who sang
the one who went
by such a simple name
He never fought
Girls flocked around him
He was humble
He only wanted one thing

His name was Mr Cinnamon
and he loved to sing

Birds

Birds, they fly high above the land, over
oceans, over mountains. They venture
out to partake of the feast that God does
lay out before them!
They gather materials to build their home
though squatter they may be. They build
love nests and they love, which is more
important than how big their house is,
or where it is.
Each morning they sing before the dawning
of the sun... as the sun rises with its
brilliant light.
Birds come in all different shapes and sizes,
each beautiful in their own way with their
own personalities and characteristics...
the same species; a variety of that same species.

But I don't mind
As long as you spread those wings and fly
Just take me by your side
O rare; love bird of mine
Take me to the heights of skies float with me among the clouds
Let me Sing out aloud-

Have you ever heard alouette

Sound poem.

Have you ever been to a party?
Do you listen to its sounds?
The sound of children's laughter
Ringing through the house, the sound of the meat
sizzling on the BBQ,the thumping thud of children
Running, the chatter of parents talking, the crackle
Of dry leaves being trampled

The ding of the doorbell
As more people arrive, the crinkle and tear of presents
being opened, the bark of the dog playing with the children,
The sound of music echoing through the halls, the chirping of birds,
the cry of a baby.
Do you hear what I hear?

A Moment In Birding

A warbler flits just out of sight
High up in the trees
His vocal song comes raining down
But still I cannot see

He gives me but the shortest glimpse
Behind the curtained leaves
Whilst singing here and flitting there
In the tops of trees

The singing stops but still I look
Scanning high and low
Hidden now by just one leaf
My hope now starts to grow

Into the suns shining spotlight
Thos little bird hops out
For just a moment and then he's gone
I give a joyful shout

Deep into trees the bird flies on
Ne'er more to grace my eye
But with my glass I search on still
To fine one more surprise

Blue Bird

Blue Bird

All alone inside of my magical little paradise called my mind is an peaceful and quiet, the sun is like a gentle kiss on the cheek, and the people are just so warm and friendly but watch out because if you open your eyes everything you once knew will be gone. This magical little realm has an bloody little twist to it. The sun that was once as comforting as an warm blanket was in fact the glistening moon and the empty black sky, and the people are now all blood thirsty monsters that are no longer affected by the sun light are now out for blood.

I run to escape the sickening but yet oh so enticing scent of blood and failure, I run to escape the screams of those who's lives were cut just too short, and I run to escape the sight of the undead, blood thirsty zombies who are on the hunt for others to join their group. I'm running, running to safety and security but all the time there's nothing but pit falls and traps. I'm running and success isn't that far away but just then I see prince charming I stop and become distracted by his promising words but just then he too becomes a monster. I scream and try to run but I just can't you trap me in fire and I can't escape.

My mind goes numb, I can feel the darkness further enclose around me, my mind goes blank, and I forget about everything. On the inside I'm screaming, fighting, kicking to get away but on the outside I'm a love sick puppy. I know I'm stronger than this but there's something about you that I just can't get over. Just as the darkness seems to grow closer an light appears and an blue bird fights off my nightmare monster and takes me back to my snowy paradise where I'm safe and at peace and I continue my lonely dark and cold path to my brightly lite future with the little blue bird by my side reminding me that I am and will forever be loved by both my family, people who actually care about me, and god.

The Skylark

A gusty evening,
Everyone's leaving,
With mare's tail mobbing the sky.
There treads a misled,
A lark's swelled head,
Wearing a black tie.

Encircling the clouds,
Like the diverge shrouds,
Rambling the skies in quest.
Upon stumbling a grub,
It concludes the nub,
With nourishment at behest.

Pressing On

She watched the mountain intently
Like a bird who’s nestling of dwelling, complains
Yet, neither will move --
Reality blooms;
A surge of genius
Strikes the hollowed core ~
Worrisome thoughts she shan’t abide…

A mother’s love still strives,
Strong willed fledgling must now -- fly
Search to build, its -- own nest
-- Mother bird soars above the mountain -- mind at rest

Comments:
An elder once said teach them well in the ways they must go… Like a hawk one must keep a
watchful eye for they are still your prizes; you never know when they may come home to
roost again... Or at least visit…
However, if they can't respect the home then its time
For them to fly on their own...

Lessons of Consequence

A blind man taught me how to see
A deaf man taught me how to sing
The heartless lady showed me how to love
And that lazy boy gave my life a shove

Now I’m rolling down the road, looking for teachers such as those
I want lessons of consequence, no more insignificance
I need meaning to carry me on; I need meaning like a bird need song
I need meaning to carry me on.

The left footed that taught me how to dance
That selfish girl who showed me true romance
The suicidal that showed me how to live
The penniless that gave all they could give

Now I’m rolling down the road, looking for teachers such as those
I want lessons of consequence, no more insignificance
I need meaning to carry me on; I need meaning like a bird need song
I need meaning to carry me on.

The know how of the human race
Out strips the words on every page
So I travel onwards over the hill
Learning each day until I get my fill

Once I Sought But Love Ran Away

Once I Sought But Love Ran Away

I sought peace by way of knowledge
the well was full but the peace it did so hide
I ran races after peaceful horses but
the saddles fell of and trampled was my heart
I sought love by way of exciting sex with
beautiful vixens but satisfied I found love hiding
I ran after soft girls with hard sexy bodies only
to find sex great but true joy O' so elusive
A journey lead me into a wild life looking for
clues to peace and love. I found great pleasure
no real gain. I sat for years begging for an answer
when suddenly a little bird told me-
Stop, you are trying to force it!
Love flees from force. Settle down, look around
and you will see Love seeking you out! A great
truth hit me like a ton bricks. I obeyed that
little voice and now married ten years to the
 Love that searched me out!
Hallejah and I praise her with a Shout!!!!!

Stop, open your heart, look and listen.
That same little bird just may speak to you!

Simple Dream

I dream of such simple things
Such as birds and their wings
With the curves of each feather
And how they become weathered

I see the birds flying with wings a flapping
I understand how wings operate with no gapping
With push of a second the bird is in the air
This is how birds fly in the air with no care

The birds in the air with freedom in their wings to fly out of trouble
Is how the bird feel with the wind pushing them up with force doubled
I get a happy when I see a bird fly
And I wish to be by their side so I give a sigh

Blue Bird Of Happiness

It's funny, how the first precious gift you've given me
Had coincided with a certain song I keep hearing.
I always started dreaming
Of seeing you again,
After I made our friendship disappear for two years.
I went from crying tears of sadness
To tears of gladness.

The skies and the seas are always my true blues,
Seas that were as deep as me missing you,
And the sky
Is where the gift that came from you
Flew away.
It came back to me spiritually
And it's given me my old strength again.

My memories of me and you
Shall never end,
Because I know, that no matter where I go,
My blue bird of happiness will always
Show me the way back
To where we last left track of each other.

Now I truly feel that we are best friends for real.
Seems like we'll be friends forever,
If we are not
Then I will always keep my most prized treasures.
Because you were one of my bestest friends.
Thank you, my friend
For my blue bird of happiness.

A Money Pot

A man was frightened and entered into a room,
He fell in the corner and touched a broom,
He read that wording to touch a middle pot,
You can get some money that’s I have lot.

When he touched a pot it grew up a tree,
Please pour me water otherwise you aren’t free.
He picked a pot and starts to search water,
When he found a well he heard a loud laughter,

I need someone’s blood if you need pot water,
Otherwise don’t blame me I have a man slaughter,
He suddenly saw a bird and thought to kill him,
But bird said, you can slaughter me first go and tell him.

He told him to the well, I have a bird to kill,
Do you accept the blood that is only my thrill?
Mice heard the talk and he got a shock,
Why is he killing a bird, he has blood hoick?

Why is your heart n’t kind and have no mercy?
Please forgive him a bird I have a clue courtesy,
I can cut your wein you can donate blood to a well,
I am offering my friendship, that’s my thrill.

He was happy to donate blood and got water a pot,
When he poured water to a tree he laughed lot,
A big fish eats a little never have a mercy thought,
Friendship can solve a problem that’s my money pot.

Little Bird First Flight

Little bird in the nest,
had to fly, had to test.

Feathers all grown,
has to make it all alone.

Wings spread out,
he knows what it's about.

Sours through the sky,
so very high.

Little bird first flight,
and now he's out of sight.

In the Garden

A lovely bird
Of brown, in the garden
Once lost in the field of grieves
Has picked up the threads of life
Now her mind rejoicing
Enjoying the last hour
Of summer joy

A lovely bird
Of brown, in the garden
Humming songs
Of olden lullabies
While, happily breast feeding
The exact replica
Of mine

A lovely bird
Of brown, in the garden
Staring the fruit of eternal love
His purple-violet like color of skin
The jolly, warmth of his flesh
And sweet smell
Really, the pride of her beauty

A lovely bird
Of brown, in the garden
Where her evergreen angel’s trumpets
The arrival of heir to the silvery quill
Whisper my name to the passing wind
As I came, to embrace them
With love and care

THIS LONE BIRD

This lone bird
flying alone,
in grey overcast,
seems so absurd

Dipping and swooping,
crazy circles,it makes
Such joy ,hard to fake,
inner whooping

For there is no season,
when to fly,
no reason,
not to try

Lone bird,
so high,
I wonder why?

Wings of grey,
match the cloud
Shades of grey at play,
mood unbowed

There is joy in flight,
instinctively right.
Bird on the wing,
is better than ground
for its heart does sing
Hear it's sound
all around

This heaving mass of air,
nature's invisible stair
The will to try
The will to fly

Lone bird,
is not absurd
Solo flight,
it's chief delight

Away from the crowd,
the cackles far too loud.
Must concentrate,
on invisible stair,
to climb to the cloud

It is fate,
for lone bird to meet,
high up on nature's seat
Leisurely pace,
murmur of wind on face

Billowy clouds,
away from the crowds.
Far in to the grey,
lone bird at play

You don't have to worry about me
I'm as light a bird in the night sky
All your mean words, and nasty actions
don't give them a second thought
I haven't at all
Everything you got away with on me
all the uncaught lies you told
all the apologies, tears, your stupid fears
are gone
I'm free you can't hurt me
you can't touch me
you can't love me
The sad part of it all
Is that what goes around comes around
So all those sleepless nights waiting for her to call
just think about the nights you did it to me
All those "friends" you don't know come up
just remember you pulled it on me
All the lies that don't add to the time
just remember you said it first
While you'll be in misery
I've moved on free from hurt and harm
So..... You don't worry about me
I'm as light a bird in the night sky
and as free as I want to be

Where is she?

He was searching her,
In his mind and dreams,
On the road or a bus stop,
And in a shopping complex,
He told to everyone in his family,
And convey a message to every friend.

He went to the beach,
Touched the sea and asked for her,
You are so powerful,
Nobody can arrest you,
You are a cause of my life,
May you tell me where is she?

Sun was arising in the east,
When golden rays touched his body,
He stood up straight and asked him,
Oh sun, nobody can fade your glimmering,
You shine every where in every direction,
May you tell me where is she?

Air was blowing whistle,
When she was passing away,
To touched his body, he asked,
Oh air, you wander in all directions,
You touch everyone’s mind and soul,
May I ask you where is she?

A bird came and starts singing,
He heard a song of love,
He came to him and asked,
Oh bird, do you know my heart’s pain?
I fall in Love I don’t know where is she?
Write a message, I will find her, a bird said.

A Little Bird

A little bird once flew my way
With colors, vibrant and sweet.
I held the bird within my hands,
I thought this was a treat.

Truth be told, t’was not for me,
To hold this bird and keep;
Its little wings were meant to fly,
Its little beak, to peep.

I let it go and watched it fly,
Though deep within my heart,
I couldn’t bear to let it go,
Of my world, it was a part.

I still felt presence now and then
As if it were above my head,
Watching me and speaking, yet
With words, not ever said.

I know, in my heart, I acted selfish
For I could never share with it, my life.
But, to have held that bird for that moment
made me happy, with sheer delight.

I know, if I should see that bird,
Or ever again hear its playful song,
My hands I’ll keep just by my side
And pray that I’ll be strong.

For I never want to hurt it,
As I may have, selfishly at the start.
But, I hope the bird knows for now,
With it, it has my heart.

I let it fly, not really my choice,
But it was the right thing to do.
Now, I only wish it happiness
And to soar in the heavens, too.

Maybe one day, I will look up
To see my flying, little bird.
Here, grounded, I’ll wish it well
And send my love without a word.
