In praise of God

In praise of God

God, I’ve read about you
In all the holy books
I have read the Bible
In the Gita I have looked
I’ve perused through the Ti te ching
In all, I see what’s true
So here I am with many praises
All written just for you.

I write with sweet sincerity
When I praise you for these words
I praise you for the flowers
I praise you for the birds
I praise you for the lakes, and rivers
And the oceans too
I praise you, praise you, praise you!!!
For everything you do.

I cannot follow words, just words
But I can look at life
And see all that is beautiful
And when my time is rife
I know I will be with you
Just like I am today
Oh God, with sweet sincerity
These words of praise I say

Beyond The Garden Gate

Ornate is the ironwork that I peer through
as my fingers grasp the garden gate,
and I open my eyes to my Wonderland.

My bare feet step down the moonlit path,
where fireflies twinkle amongst the stars
that reflect upon the flowing crystal brook.
I capture them in a lantern, then set them free.
My lavender dress twirls weightlessly as I dance,
here I am free to feel joy and to dream.

Here beyond the gate of my enchanted garden,
when the golden sun sets low in the evening sky,
the daisies, gladiolas, and pansies never close their petals
and the sunflowers shine in the moonbeams.

While butterflies stay to perch on the blooming trellis,
the song of the hummingbird fills the warm night air
and I fall asleep in my flower bed of thorn-less roses.

Garden Flowers

walking through the garden I was struck by the
abundance of blooms. Everywhere the flowers
peeked out, rich in colour and scent.

Stately tulips waft
in great patches of colour
pleasing to the eye

Hollyhocks giving height and beauty while
gentle daisy's lay cloistered underneath
grand hosta's lapping up the sun

Merry birds singing
unseen musicians playing
a most happy jig

In tune with the surrounding world
I listen to nature's choir so stirring to
the senses as birds warble in joy

peacocks are strutting
across the vast lawns of green
most pleasing to see

An Ellice Island - In search of KindRed Soul

Long miles of tedious journey,
Missing my darling honey.
Travelling impatiently, spend thousands of
money,
Hope god will bless me with ma lucky soul
at this season.

Equatorial island exploring its amazed
beauty, glittering with immersed grasses.
Wrapped by queens necklaced small lake
aside, at the outskirts of dalhousie.
My heart dwelled into its god gifted
creativity,
When the night lime lighted,
Millions of stars scattered around
charming moon.
As if its was a wondering boon.
Lucky enough for landing with my next
hop.

Eagerly waiting for my heart chaser,
Girl passed near by, few seconds later.
Flaming beauty mould my soul.
Topped with innocence, ready for my
auspicious goal.
Her chic appearance,
Her innocent appeal.
Strucking heart raised with high beats..
Awaited for our romantic date in ma
upcoming meet.

Frequency of our nature matched.
Stolen Eyes of each other were catched.
Strings of our heart whistled
synchronously.
Everything had happened miraclelously.
I rebelled the three precious words of
romantic dictionary.
Accepting my red rose, She blushed.

At event of recreation, campfire were
ignited.
Nobody around us, private moments
between we two spotlighted.
Playing guitar, she sinked with every beat,
That's the coincidence our eyes again
meet.
Hand in hand danced with the soothing
romantic theme,
Sparkling smile on her face beamed.
Getting closer to her, because of her
fragranced cream.
Expecting the light around us to be dim.

The romantic moment again came,
Flaps of my soul opened for the grand
dame.
She looked too pretty in her gold lame
dress,
My heart awarded her an order of chivalry.
Don't know who are you, but baby you are
the one, I am in love.
You live in me, You are my love
I feel you in my heart,
You are my world, I just cant stay apart!

Please don't hesitate, please don't lie,
Whatever you feel, my heart can buy!
Angel of life, Its just you.
Completeness in life can't be without you.

Wanna Carry journey happily together.
Tickling nose, Queenly beauty of my white
leather.
Hold my senses, its caught by you.
Don't let be just memories, wanna feel
ecstasy of love towards you forever.
Promising to hold your hand throughout
life in this lovely weather.

Will be your shadow, because your pain
will be mine.
Its destiny that our heart clicked a
snapshot of each other's soul.
Stopping by my question, Will you marry
me, my Kindred Soul?

The Garden

All day she watches, feeding on greed,
but she would not pick any of the flowers.
These are flowers that fly and all but sing.

For flight and honey, dazzled so in quest of sweetness.
A bird, one that gathers its wings
and flies higher and higher.

This lovely flower fell to seed.
Work gently sun and rain.

Birds and morning glory

Birds and Morning Glory

The skies they be electric blue
On a morning pure and bright
I stand there in my lovely garden
And I feel such sweet delight
As I look up in the Banksia tree
And shrouded there in mystery
Five Pink Galahs against the sky
They come into my gazing eyes.

So Rosy pink these parrots be
These wondrous cockatoos
And God, they look so wonderful
Against the sky so blue
As the morning Glory climbs the tree
All wild and loose and fancy free
And seek s to reach the blessed sky
Such beauty there, oh my, oh my.

The morning flows into my being
Intoxicating me
Those birds, those trees, that Morning glory
Fill me with ecstasy
Oh so much potent energy
And so much lovely mystery
I see within this morning scene
At one with life, and so serene.

SPRING FEVER

Look, it's the first bloom of spring
A proud daffodil stands all alone
Soon to be joined by others
And light up our lovely home

Like the sun she beams so brightly
Announcing that Spring is here
There's no shyness in her yellow bud
She wants our notice that much is clear

So like a magnet I'm drawn to her
And to all that she represents
The changing of the seasons
Gazing upon her brings sweet content

The birds are singing a happy song
The breeze is waving its approval
New beginnings are bursting forth
Bright colors are Winter's removal

Sleepy beauty is waking up
The prince has placed his kiss
The lone daffodil is now surrounded
Together they dance in bliss

Kindly my Spring fever is satisfied
What once was hope has now arrived
And the world has come alive again
The long Winter I've survived!

Surreal Nature

Walking through the sweet flower meadows, I pause to watch the sky lark
as he tumbles joyously in the sunlit sky and perches on a branch
to sing in such sweet melody that missel thrush and blackbird join in.

Flowers smelling sweet
in such a variety
of color and shape

A peaceful place to sit and enjoy all nature has to offer
to lean back and let go of every day stress and woes. To
celebrate just the joy of being alive and able to enjoy nature

Nature does her best
if only we care to look
at all her splendors

This wild, woody garden

This wild and woody garden

This wild and woody garden
Oh, how she pleases me
Her upkeep sometimes gets me down
This I did not foresee
I guess that now at seventy
I’m really slowing down
But if my trees should disappear
Then I would surely frown.

I created all of this
I knew just what to do
I planted every kind of shrub
And watch the growth come through
Now one can’t hardly move in it
But oh the energy
That seems to flow into my soul
From every kind of tree

The birds, they come to visit us
In every kind of hue
As the trees they dance upon the breeze
And me, I’ve naught to do
But sit here watching natures show
Me, and my little friend
Letting power sooth my soul
And bring angst to its end.

Looking tthrough my window

Looking through my window

I sit here in this lovely room
As Willy wagtail sings
Green parrots fly on past my window
And so much joy they bring
With their lovely whistling notes
And feathers all alive
As the morning sun peeps out
Cause the new day has arrived.

The sky is kind of grey today
Though the sun still lights the grey
I sit and look into the sky
There might be rain today
The olive trees out in the front
Are filled with morning bliss
As sun gives them a magic glow
How nice this morning is.

The flowers of so many colours
[There’s white, yellow, and blue
And red] they kind of fill my soul
And make me feel brand new
How very sweet this morning be
So filled with so much life
It fills my day with happiness
Obscuring all my strife.

The things I love

The things I love

I love, me, the sun in the morning
I love me the moon in the night
I love all he flowers in the meadows
Oh, everything gives me delight
And I love my Vera Rosina
I love everything about her
She’s got everything that I’ll ever need
She beautiful, comes from a one only breed.

I love how the trees reach to Heaven
I love how they dance with the breeze
I love all the birds in the treetops
I love how my life gives me ease
But I tell you, my Vera Rosina
She’s a wonderful, wonderful girl
She makes me feel pure, she makes me feel whole
Whenever I’m with her I come from my soul.

My life is a wonderful, wonderful space
For I have my Vera, a girl with such grace
I have known her forever, and I love her still
I worship my lady and I always will
I love me that power in the heavens
I love how I love my sweet life
Oh, I love my Vera Rosina
She’s my perfect, and beautiful wife.

Hummingbird

Hummingbird

Hummingbird flapping iridescent wings,
hovers above patch of cardinal blooms.
Feasting in mid-air is an amazing thing,
over twice its weight the small bird consumes.
Aerodynamic bird loved by many,
Can fly backward, forward and side to side.
Its weight is slightly above a penny.
Tiny legs limit the little bird’s stride.
Hummingbirds are of various colors.
The backs of some are emerald or brown.
The ruby throat bird is seen more than others.
There are several colors for their crowns.
Wherever insects and nectar are found,
there’s sure to be a hummingbird around.

Leeroy von Nebulae

Leeroy von Nebulae y Pitter Patter Supernova

Upon the sparkling April field, where the bell-flowers blossomed,
two poets stood amid the blooms, two writers of their wisdom,
where singing aves exalted them, cause deep in verse have fathomed
and treated poetry like none, with loyalty and serfdom.

Meantime the birds were chirping in the leafage of the forest
the two composers synthesized the crop of thoughts that random
became their poetry's free verse, philosophy, thus, modest,
the scriptures called bankrupted talk and artlessness of flotsam.

The authors, thus, amid the trees, and vervains' purple colors,
narrated 'bout the pepper steaks and pizzas pepperoni,
the grayish donkeys and their bray, through softened words of candor
conducting hence this spectacle and joyous ceremony.

What was occurring round the two was godly sent, on purpose;
the softened breeze, the sunny morn, the singing of the birdies,
and furthermore their kindest verse that both believed was flawless,
- the soul's redemption stands upon the praising by the toadies.

Obtusely raising, slow but firm, their tilted thoughts euphoric
have driven both to fly above this natural assemblage,
hence joyful they enjoined the cause of logic anti-strophic,
amid the clouds envisioning a pizza-Heaven-cottage.

Leeroy von Nebulae y Pitter Patter Supernova
expressed their nothingness of verse, that donkeys then recited
and stood impassive 'mid the blooms, their thoughts a dull cadenza,
evaluated by the birds, that chirped their notes, astounded.

Wishes

May flowers grow in your footprints
May birds sing outside your window
May your smile warm a sunbeam
May the leaves sigh to you as they fall
May the wind caress your face as it blows
May the raindrops glitter to your touch

The beauty of the wetlands

Have you seen, lake Joondalup
In Yellagonga there?
Oh what a lovely place she be
There’s wild life everywhere
It be a precious wonderland
Of trees and birds and flowers
It’s a place that be so beautiful
All filled with natures power

Frogs, they croak, and insects sing
And the birds in all their glory
They sing from trees all bent and gnarled
Such a blessed song it be
As breeze it plays it’s melody
And trees dance gracefully
To leave the mind without a doubt
That there be a deity

I walk these trails most every day
As I’m stunned by the sweet power
Of everything that’s beautiful
Every tree and every flower
And bird, and beast and tiny insect
Do tell a wondrous story
Of life among these wetland spaces
All filled with precious glory

A View From My Deck

Fluffy white floaters on the breeze
Parachuting from the sky
Petals off the apple tree
A carpet on the lawn

Happy birds that tweet and trill
Songs of constant joy
Hopping and bopping from branch to branch
High rise nesting architects

Hummers zip and stop on a dime
Hover at colourful flowers
Drinking natures sweetened nectars
Yellow bush a favourite

Garden buzzes its own rhythm
Yellow pollinators streaking by
Moving from one plant to another
Nature's wondrous helpers

On the deck with morning coffee steaming
Marvelling at the non-stop action
Much better than watching the morning news
Relaxed, refreshed, renewed for the day

The Pessimist and The Optimist

Part I - The Pessimist

I am a person without a name
I am a fire without a flame
I am a flower that will never bloom
I am a house without a room
I am a candle that will never melt
I am a feeling that cannot be felt
I am a picture without a frame
I am a goal, without any aim
I am a winner without a prize
I am a party without a surprise
I am a dreamer without a dream
I am a river without a stream
I am a poem without a rhyme
I am a clock that won't show you the time
I am a portrait without a face
I am a trial without a case
I am a key that won't open the door
I am a toy you don't want anymore
I am a bird that forgot how to fly
I am a joker, but I always cry
I am a thing that was never in use
I am a game that somebody will lose
I am a story that will never end
Well, I'm just somebody you won't understand.

:(

Part II - The Optimist

I am a person with a beautiful name
I am a fire with most powerful flame
I am a flower that will always bloom
I am a house with room after room...
I am a candle that burns through the night
I am a feeling of lovers' delight
I am a picture with a solid frame
I am a healer, I carry no shame
I am a winner with the top, 1st place prize
I am a party with the biggest surprise
I am a dreamer with colorful dreams
I am a river with thousands of streams
I am a poem with a perfect rhyme
I am a clock that will show any time
I am a portrait of an angelic face
I am a trial with a strong, worthwhile case
I am a key that unlocks any door
I am a toy you will always adore
I am a bird that soars high in the sky
I am a joker, I forgot to cry
I am a thing that you'll always use
I am a game that you just cannot lose
I am a story that will never end
I am a trip! Come, join me my friend!

A Weed in a Meadow of Flowers

Some days
I stand alone
Like a weed
In a meadow of flowers
Under a tree
And the sun shines bright
But I can not feel its warmth
For the tree was blocking me from its light

Other Days
I am a bird
Soaring above all else
Soaking in all of the sun’s rays
Nothing can bring me down,
Or have enough impact
To cause me to land

yet exquisitely formed
white and gold abound

My blackbird follows
me around in the garden
cheerful tune emits

snowdrop so lovely
you poke up your head through snow
 glistening snow white

a robin redbreast
tugged at a juicy worm
he was so pleased

Spirit

My spirit longs for the breeze that the summer brings
My spirit longs for the birds who fill the heavens with beautiful song
My spirit longs for the smell of the flowers
My spirit longs for the breeze that the summer brings

My spirit longs for the sunrise and sunset
My spirit longs for the sweet tea my grandmother has perfected
My spirit longs for the sweet taste of freedom that comes only from summer
My spirit longs for the breeze that the summer brings.

Reflections of Joy

I wish I could have a flower garden of iris'
Of blooming iris flowers,
With canaries and other swooping birds
Feather to feather, to fly above,
As I sit perched,
Only distance carries my thoughts.
Below, a catacomb of surface,
Blooming an age of wisdom and growth.
We live what we learn,
Of our heart's desire.
