Red and white or pink and yellow too,
Orange, purple, two toned - even blue,
Scented petals, fragrant and divine:
Ev’ry rose was plucked to make her mine.

Life According To Mystic Rose

There are many days in ones lifetime but the fact is
they wrap themselves into only four seasonal groups

Spring is the season of bloom, new beginnings new life
Plucky silk petals full of life, and so it is with youth
Racing hearts and strong young legs full of vigor
Idyllic dreams are born at the cusp of birthing pages
Natural beauty budding on grassy fields of valor
Gentle flowers own their power, so does newborn creed

Summer can be compared to the first day we open our eyes
Undilitued love pouring from every pore, yowling for life
Memories amass n' build up, one breath at a time
Maybe it's our way of going from cocoon to butterfly
Eager to learn we insip our minds and sponge up knowledge
Reaching in reaching out we grow into a wonderful being

Autumn approaches and whips our cheeks with wind
Underneath the dome of humanity, we show forth our colors
Tinting our lives with the many shades of our character
Undergoing transformations we begin to gray
Melding like a mature tree into the cycle of age
Nature becomes a trusting friend as we draw to a close

Winter can be compared to the white hairs of our crown
Impearled with wisdom we suddenly grow more pensive
Needling close to the hearth, we retell our stories
Those that usher quietude and those not so hushed
Energy diminishes and we find comfort in our afternoon naps
Regardless of misgivings, we begin to accept the inevitable

Soon it will be time to leave our niche and join forces with our maker
Perhaps we fear the unknown? Perhaps faith makes it sufficient? Who knows,
Regardless of our beliefs when we see a seedling our hopes soar
Inlacing our lives we reconnect with our true selves and make amends
Nethered below the ground our mortal bodies decay but not our souls
God sees to it that soul power is dispersed, and we become united with

The Sun.

There are many days in our lifetime but the fact is,
sooner or later we all need to go...

Bath for Two

B lindfolded he leads her down the hall,
A nticipation makes her start to giggle.
T here he lets her dress slide slipping to the floor,
H anding her a red rose he removes the blindfold.

F ascination shows in her excited face,
O ver the floor is a carpet of rose petals,
R ed candles have turned the washroom into a spa.

T he scent of perfumed water fills their senses,
W ater spills as he draws her into the tub.
O ne heart and one soul become one.

Insane Rose

I'd like to dedicate this Acrostic to you.
Now you I appreciate, but here's a clue.
So journey with me to a place of pure bliss.
Answer my poetry, and I'll give you a poetic kiss!
Notice my creativity comes from mi corazon.
Enter heaven with me, and I'll never leave you alone!

Remember, love is the ultimate truth, all else is a lie.
Ordinarily it would take more that a woman's words to satisfy.
So unselfishly I give you a nice piece of me.
Eternally we will be, if you just follow the words in my poetry!

Rosebud Delight, she calls to me
Overcomes my senses,..beguiles
She begs I taste her, roll my tongue
Every drop quenched ,drives me wild
Beautiful Rosebud feels my needs
Unleashing flavours of fascination
Drawing my tongue gently into her
Delights my touch a new sensation
Enticing me to thirst her treasures
Lusting, as I drink her juices freely
I smell the heady musk , it pulls me
Giving rise my rising passions ignite
Hear the moan of inner pleasure within
Taste tonight of her...Rosebud Delight

Antique Rose

And of all the roses there is none more lovely than the antique rose,
Nothing compares to the classic old-rose shape, round and with full petals;
Tumbling from a vase or garden trellis, creamy roses soft and pink,
In my mother's vast planting there was always a place for these vintage roses.
Quite beautiful and romantic for a blushing bride to carry down the aisle,
Under my kitchen window they grow in harmony with my other sweet flowers;
Even at my mother's funeral, her casket was draped in antique roses.

Really they are my favourite flower and I have fond memories of them,
On walks around the garden with mother we would pick a bouquet of pale colors;
Sweet oyster, pale pink, nude and rose, vintage beauties of perfection,
Even the antique rose grows at mother's tomb taken from her own wild garden;
Soft and gorgeous, they are perfection for new love and for sad lost love.

A Rose is a rose by any name

Another day arrives so I embrace all I see
Rose becomes a constant inspiration to me
On any given day she opens my eyes
She becomes empowerment that is larger than I.

Every moment feels like it could be the chance
Inside the words lives the opportunity to advance
So sweet are the words that they alter my soul
Arms appear for me to climb from this hole.

Realizing the beauty of the flower that bears this name
Opening my mind in turn changing the game
Something calls to me telling me it shall be okay
Everything I lost becomes lost in yesterday.

By any other name it’s still a beautiful flower
Yearning to grow yet requiring a shower
Anything can happen when a flower grows
Yesterday disappears as my purpose starts to show.

No one can take this away no matter what they try
Angels from heaven let loose a heavenly sigh
My love becomes the focus and nothing is the same
Every Rose is a rose by any name……

A ROSE DIES IN DARKNESS infinitian

Dark falls, like poured tar seeps pitch black
As agued night draws deaths last breath
Rests the rose that weeps and
Knows , its life light dies….
                                        Note, the hours pass
                                          Each filled with
                                            Soft souled

                                     NAUGHT BUT ROSES
Each day spent creating the life of a rose
vignettes of scents tested by her nose
                                every petals smell self taught
                                     new flavors are sought
                                           gives fragrance
                                     red blossoms are bought
                                   once the essence is fraught
stealing daylight to flourish what grows
Each day spent creating the life of a rose

Loveley Rose

Lively as a rose
Outragous as the sound
Variety of personality
Evermore to soar
Leaching for somemore
Everytime I search
Yet always I get the back of the earth

Reaching for the stars
Over the moon and out
Searching for that someone
Even in a sense im on my own throughout

Rose of Absence

To those whom ask for nothing
Here and now, I give you
Every mans suffering

Before I
Lay me down never to rise again
As I give to you
Closure before it begins
Knowing only this will salvage your truth

Receive the gift
Of your saddened angel
Stand, be blessed upon thy lips
Embrace my end
