Secretly Obsessed

Obsessed with the thought of you
wondering if it's only me or
if you sometimes remember the sweet things you've said
and if you meant them how I took them
or if I'm just obsessed with what's in your head

Obsessed with your very sentences
Every response I take personal
I know it's selfishness
Have you not noticed my eyes?
They hold secrets that only you can unlock
if you'd just take time to fill the thick juices of my pride
It's just boiling with lust, passion, trust and distrust
and other things I obsess over so much

I find myself writing to free myself from this prison I've created
where only you and I reside
I become confused about what I'm really feeling inside and I
try to rid the thoughts that are highly debated as false and I
begin to cry and
think of casting love spells so that the universe can deliver this affair
I know it's unfair
but I don't care

I'm obsessed with what hasn't happened between us
I'm obsessed with your heart and that the fact that
I don't think you've even noticed my selfish innuendos
and secret undertones that blatantly express my lust
Or maybe you have and you calmly remain in resistance of distrust
If you could only read my mind by simply touching my fingertips,
I'm sure I'd catch you out the corner of my eye biting your bottom lip
I'm obsessed with the passion and thoughts I think you have
Obsessing over an experience that I may never have....

Everyday Regrets

Every Everyday I feel the same old mistakes brushing up my leg and heading
striaght for my heart. Trying make me sting... stupid memories, I can't shake them away
and they just make me feel everyday regrets. I knew you were leaving, I could feel it
inside. Yet it seemed like life just kept moving on... it never let me stop for a minute
to see how you were doing and I blame myself for not saying good bye. Sometimes I cry
when I think about you... sometimes I wonder why I didn't just go see you. One more
mistake and my heart keeps on aching. I'm not ready for this but even so it kills me.
Everyday regrets about the times i'll never forget and the things I never got to say. I
know your looking down on me trying to console me but in my mind everything went wrong
and I wasn't even there... you just passed right along and I couldn't even hold your
hand. I wanted to be there... I had grown up a lot since this ever ending roller coaster
ride and just as I was getting off the dizziness still hadn't worn off. You were taking
away in the middle of the night... I wasn't even there and that makes me sad. I didn't
hear you voice... I didn't show any remorse and it hurts me deep inside that I will never
see your heart beat again or see you talk to me like you used to do. Everyday Regrets and
I keep on blaming myself in a story that just won't ever end and will continue until I
see your face again. I won't forget, I will remember... I disappointed you and that's all
I can say for now goodbye is hardly the words I ever wanted to say. But now your gone and
i'm living with everyday regrets.

Leave the Ninety-nine

We must leave the ninety-nine
To go search and find
The one lost sheep
Wand'ring far behind
We must leave the ninety-nine
To go search and find
The one lost sheep-
Left behind (Chorus)

Just suppose one of you has a hundred sheep
Then loses one of them and begins to weep
Would you not leave the ninety and nine
And go after the one on your heart and mind
And when it's found you would hold it closer
And carry it home upon your shoulders
Then call all your neighbors and gather all your friends
Celebrating your sheep that's back in the fold again

[Bridge]
Likewise there's more rejoicing
In Heaven up above
Over one lost soul who will repent
Than for the ninety-nine
Who are already found
To be righteous and so obedient (So..)

(Chorus)

Now suppose one of you has ten silver coins
But then loses one of them from your collection
Would you not light the house and sweep the floors
Searching very carefully for what is yours
Would you not put away the other precious nine
And look in every corner until the lost one you'd find
Then call all your neighbors and gather all your friends
Celebrating you have your coin in your hand again

[Bridge]

(Chorus)

[Bridge2]
But don't forsake the congregation
And now's the time for visitation
To lead the lost ones to salvation
With God's angels in celebration

(Chorus)

After Hours Call

party's over
when you're sober
can't walk home to-night

keep on stumbling
stomach's rumbling
better stop to get a bite

but what can i say
i wish you'd stay
and cry on this shoulder to-night

but we were young and
restless wanderers and
couldn't be out in the light

Generic Minds

generic minds listen to generic music
have generic thoughts that are unknowingly abusive
watch generic things talk about generic things
gee this generic *****is spreading like a disease
better get your flu shot
thats what they said to me
a suicidal vaccine
a subliminal killing spree
its contagious and the outrageous
thing about it is that the people are blind in an eye
that they didn't even know they had
it's sickening to watch these clueless civilians
inside the looking glass
with nightmares of being free
without a key to their mind
for it is trapped in the frequency
in the illusion of time
bathed in our universe
killing all that refuse to see
those that admit to hypocracy
or see the message in hip hop
how cant you see
the message in the lyrics that
bring adolescents to their knees
from bullet wounds conflicting their flesh
contradicting that they're the best
but the songs keep telling them that they dont need no rest
that they dont wanna go home
that they should ride alone
with the gat as their only companion
and so the only path they choose is the one that they're told
until they grow old and hope turns to a window pane
inside a window pane, until all they feel is pain
they realize that the music itself is ashamed
so whats to look up to
when you cant even speak when you cant even walk because you look so bleak
your eyes are sunken from the tv you're infested with the dee zees
now its too late to turn around and live for your conscious
so when youre screaming oh please
close your eyes and bring your mind to life
open your eyes for the first time
and never wonder why
since the answer this entire time
has been inside
and you better find it before you die
you dont want your soul to be in a pool with all the others
a buncha brothers missing their mothers
but only seeing strangers
only feeling the haters
wishing they would have used their minds when they had them
and now its too late,
now it's time for another new born fate to grab them

Unite Blue

Verse 1

I’ve had this dream now for a while,
But the real world’s where I choose to stay,
The time is now for standing up,
To reach out for that brighter day.

Chorus

Unite to lend a hand to those who are in need,
Unite against them, whose souls are consumed by greed,
Unite and lend a hand, and we can change the world,
We’re the ones we’ve been waiting for.

Verse 2

Walking past two souls holding hands,
I see that it’s true love conquers all,
A dreamland where we all sing and dance,
And hands to catch us should we fall.

(Chorus)

Bridge

United, it’s in our hands,
United, it’s how we stand,
United, across all lands.
Empathy, we understand,
Together, it’s how we stand,
Unite with one voice, One Hand.

I'm Sorry For Being So Cold

My words may feel so cold,
Yet this feeling of falling and
Then trying to be so loving
Eventually misleads me to
Feeling like she or myself
Is gradually shoving my feelings
Through an invisible door.

It's all so not worth
Letting this sorrow corner me in,
My mind is wondering if I'm truly fine with
Having no one special in my own current life.

My reasons for trying to
Move onwards from there
Were nothing but idealized dreams
Turning into unpleasant realities.

Who knew that a few days
After those euphoric moments
I would be realizing that
The strings of my heart were pulled
By desires so unnecessary for healing
My own inner strife.

My words may have been so cold,
But it's only because this sorrow I go through
Will always continue beyond tomorrow.

You don't deserve being
My eternal object of depression,
Yet you are also even taking it
All too simply to be the object
Of my true love and affection.

My feelings from loving you
Were absolutely true,
But I now see I was so wrong
In believing in my own naïve thoughts.
So fleeting was the beautiful
Rendering of my soul,
Except that no one knew then
That it was only a game of pretend.

Wanting my first kiss returned,
Yet again I guess first can mean the worst,
So I guess I'll find someone
Who will become my second best.
After telling you I can't love you anymore,
I now feel as if I can finally rest.

My words were only so cold,
Because something in the depths of my heart
Was calling out to be heard.

In the end though I have released myself
From the bittersweet feelings I gained from
My voice and feelings that once were forsaken.
I'm sorry for being so cold.

ONCE AGAIN THANK YOU

I was just trying to remember the past
trying to remember the good people
 and the bad people,
that i came across on my way,

i want you to know
that you are among the good people
that left a good trace in my life,

once again i just want to say thank you
for passing through my life,
is so short but is wonderful
i want you here forever.

Broken home

Remax can sale you a home but can't sale you happiness. I never visit the state of Georgia but things do get a little peaches. See this what happens when you eat finger food and take out orders. I never receive your Southern Hospitality/ I couldn’t even receive a plate of food you cook/ you can finally see now when I walk away out your life forever I don’t even have a single word for you. Only thing you will receive from me is this middle finger. You was taught at young age to go to School and learn in Class. But surely class can’t teach you “CLASS”!!

A moment silent things were so quiet and complicate in the beginning I thought we could have reconnect /But just like the chips to connect four they don’t always stay in the same order. You had play a handful of games and this when the “Battleship” games has to end. Now I hope you feel the water rise from your sinking ship and allow your tears to fumble into your lap.

American 60s

Gladness of meadows, ill weeds,
children of flowers, mad deeds,
bitter of fathers, iron glove.
Winds are carrying the love.

Noisy city, stone’s moan,
smoky bars, reality’s yawn,
beasts in cages out of laws.
Jim is opening the doors.

Words of rampage, hair to shoulders,
a lioness roar, a flow of wonders –
her mike – harmonious Dionysus –
a potent lion lured by Janis.

A woman’s hands with a handkerchief,
lips to lips, a garland gift,
she’s excited ‘cause of – guess
who’s kissing her? – Elvis, yes.

Peacock’s colors, sharp wit,
a swarm of flies, a scent of sh_t,
by the Sun is burning Phoenix,
a guitar being burnt by Hendrix.

Cloudy whiteness and grey ashes.
Crocodile tears, Megaera bashes,
to a singer a merciless demon.
Dreams imagined by John Lennon.

Burst of emotions, decay of knots,
barking dogs and bleating goats,
shocked by coup a righteous snob.
In his searching’s howling Bob.

Foul air, a stink of zoos,
a worn-out jeans, the century of wars,
Justice blind laughs at beard,
a hippy’s dragging now his weird.

Grandma Was Dancing

She was a tappin' to the tunes...
of those Mississippi blues...
step-pin' out, in her white...
Pat-en-leather shoes,

We were a watchin' her a prancin',
all through the kitchen, dancin'...
for she was so...hot & sizzlin'...
hummin' to those Mississippi tunes...

Funny curlers too, upon...
her head...for a new... Hair dew,...
she was, a swirlin'-in that bakers apron,
when her head...star-ted a bobbin' to...
those Mississip-pi blues,

'Pots were a knockin'...
Grandma a sockin' down all she brews,
while that kettle there was whistlin',
in har-mo-ny, with them good ole...
good ole...mississip-pi moves,'

That floor there, was a bouncin'
holdin' hands we were a jumpin',
an-a hoppin' In the kitchen, to those...
                  sounds ...
Where Grandma's feet were a stompin',
In her new...New-white-sexy-pat-en-
leather-shoes...
(ya hoo)

The Miracle

Lift the wailing wood
Hammer the tortured nails
Place the ghostly steps
Below the battered rails

Invite those crazy strangers
Dressed in stranger clothes
Join the mighty miracle
Ready to unfold

Building a stairway
In the desert
Aimed toward the pure and honest sky
Building a stairway
In the desert
Going to rise for miles
And miles

Leave this evil town
Where scorpions share your bed
Guilty snakes make a home
Deep inside your head

The bleeding sun
Burns your feet
Hangmen joke
Beggars weep

Buried bodies
Cry for help
Undertakers
Steal your wealth

Building a stairway
In the desert
Aimed toward the pure and honest sky
Building a stairway
In the desert
Going to rise for miles
And miles

We’re laughing and
We’re dancing
In the desert
Dancing in the desert
Of our lives

Can’t you see?
We’re dancing in the desert
Dancing in the desert
Of our lives

Feel so free
Dancing in the desert
Dancing in the desert
Of our lives

Free….so free
In the desert
Dancing in the desert
Of our lives

Lift the wailing wood
Hammer the tortured nails

The War Confessions

There’s a fury on the waves
A madness taking place
Fueled by the blood
Of weary wage slaves

And they taught us how to hate
In a hi tech kind of way
Made us meat puppets
For the wars they wage

In a playground, running round
In a playground, being clowns
Weren’t we once kids
Just kicking a ball?
Laughing ‘bout everything
Nothing at all

In a playground, ‘neath the sun
In a playground, having fun
Weren’t we once kids
Thought war is a game?
Fall over dead
And jump up again

(Hey, hey, what do you want to say?}

Don’t want to lose my legs
In defense of larceny
The banksters stealing billions
From the national Treasury

Don’t want to take a bullet
Left coughing up blood
For your right to a lap dance
At some faraway club

Don’t want to suck my meals
Through a thin feeding tube
On behalf of profiteers
Dealing addicts their crude

Don’t want to wheeze harshly
Hooked to a machine
In the service of ingrates
And all that’s obscene

Don’t want to suffer flashbacks
Those nightmarish screams
While billionaires lullaby
To private jet dreams

Nobody’s tool, nobody’s fool.
NO!!!!

In a world so long ago
In a world we used to know
Weren’t we once kids?
Who sang funny songs
No thoughts of torture
Phosphorous bombs

In a world so long ago
In a world we used to know
Weren’t we once kids?
Who rode on our bikes
Vampires scared us
Not nuclear strikes

(Hey, hey, what do you want to say?)

There’s a fury on the waves
A madness taking place
Fueled by the blood
Of weary wage slaves

There’s a world of growing horror
Where a playground stood before
And it ‘s time to stop
This lunatic war

There’s a world of growing horror
Where a playground stood before
And it’s time to stop
This murderous war

There’s a world of growing horror
Where a playground stood before
And It’s time to stop
This sickening war

There’s a world of growing horror
Where a playground stood before
And it’s time to stop
This bloody awful war

Let’s bring back our playground
Stop this war
Let’s restore our playground
Stop this war…

Yes, it’s time
(yes it’s time)

Time to STOP THIS WAR!

Right Now

In the exact moment that I am right now
I stand in a sea of vulnerability;
susceptible to the effects of causes around me
and since I am fully aware,
I own my surroundings
I am one with sounds and vibrations
resonating from the earth;
I am that pulse of the drum beat
thats been thrashing
inside me since birth

Right now, I am exactly as I am
deeply flawed and misjudged
used, victimized and persecuted
Right now I am you in the absolute

Right now, I am exactly as I am
balanced, whole and complete
attracting abundance and certainty
Right now I am peace - still you

Right now, I am exactly as I am
You

Just Be

Society, community, society, community.
You can leave now and let me be.
I will swim free, free in your sea.
Your sea? your sea, polluted now, Oh you will never see.
Broken hearts, bodies too, beloved inner child, I love you.
Purity.
Alone.
Breathe, breathe, breathe.
Simplicity, simplicity, simplicity.
I know now that this is all I need.
To be. To be. That is all, just Be.
Burn your toys, television too, kill the car, the radio.....
MOooooooo.
Unleash, unravel, these boys, disentangle, unblock, reset there mind, please sir,
could you be so kind?
Simplicity, Simplicity, simplicity.
Eye's clenched shut.
Now I know, Alone in my hut, not long to go, you will be free.
Free. free. free.
Buy the car, buy the house, buy the cow, consume, consume, but how?
Now!
Now, now, you tell me are you happy? for ever and art thou.
Ah ha, you see, you see.
Simplicity, simplicity, simplicity.
That is all I need, I choose now, my self is free?
Yes, yes, yes sir, me?
Free to sit, sit and just be.
Me? Free? free to swim in this endless blue sea?
I will just sit, sit right here, against this healing earth, oh so very near.
My mind is liquid, free to birth.
Just be. Just Be. Just Be.
Simplicity, simplicity, simplicity.

Skin Deep

If I could dream
for anything
I would dream of Peace, Love
and Unity
for all Bloods & Crips
all gangs, are in need of a change
for you represent such ignorance
and scrutiny
Difference in colors worn
Sides in which you were born
are truly all that divides
when the two opposing sides
collide
and it makes no sense
for we all Bleed
Blue turned Red
Blood Inside
And a future generation
is hard to provide
when death, is like your shadow
creepin' up by your side
and drive-by shootings happen
each late night, outside
where running seems the only option
to know
for no places to hide
no defense for your demise
for a difference in colors worn
and what side in which you were born
is truly all that divides
when these two sides collide
and it makes no sense to me
for we all Bleed
Blue turned Red
Blood Inside

Give Me a Shot

As soon as I walk in,
you walk right up to me;
And I know what I want,
but you ask me what I need.
I know you're just doin' your job,
and I'm just doin' mine,
but I cannot help but wonder if you're open, come closin' time.

There aren't many people,
with whom, I get along;
And there are even fewer,
for whom, I'll write a song,
but you like to hear me sing,
and I like to watch you pour.
I wonder if there's something that we both would like much more.

Hey, bartender. Would you wait on me?
I guess I'll just have to wait and see.
But I don't care if it's last call or not -
Hey, bartender. Would you give me a shot?

Let's make a toast: To making the most of most.
Let us not look to see. What will be, will be.

So, when you close out my tab,
and I ask for one more thing;
And say, "Could you call me - a cab?"
'Stead of "Call me in the morning."
'Cause I don't wanna go too far,
but I don't wanna go without;
So, if I am where you are,
please, bartender, don't close me out.

The Poetic Blues

I think I self-sabotage unknowingly
because of fear
So my message goes unheard because I’m afraid to let the people hear
And end up drowning in the poetic blues
doubting my ability to write about the truth;

I dug deeper and deeper into myself trying to write a poem good enough to be free of judgment
Then I stepped out on faith and suddenly I was triumphant
and my writing grew
and I was loving it
I had finally passed the fear of speaking and caring about who the fu*c! was judging it

As I wait to be inspired for the next poem,
I sit and think alone and drown in my sorrows
Listening to jazz, blues and a.m. radio
trying to find an excuse not to perform at the SLAM
because again I can’t think of a damn thing to write…..
Drowning in poetic blues
Will this be the one that will be thrown away and never be used

Or will this be the one that transcends the others
and finally prove that poetry is blues and blues is poetry and hip hop and jazz and r&b,
Poetry is music and the words dance around in my soul
and I am free once they become spoken
In the meantime the paper is where the words will rest
until the silence is broken

Drowning in the sea of proper delivery
My voice, my stance, my intensity
How will others interpret the words that I’ve chosen so diligently?
I wrap my soul around the possibility that none of the words I choose –
will keep me from becoming deluged and trapped by the poetic blues

Somehow my heart refuses to accept that I don’t deserve to have my words heard
and it takes over this whole process
No more time for shrinking and feeling less
I was born to make my words manifest light
I am a gorgeous medium to the truth yeah that's right
I was sent here to give you a piece of good news
Remember that God is with you when you get
The poetic blues

Your Presence

Your presence I feel oh so near, it help me to relieve
some of my fears of all my everyday cares, I feel your
presence eveywhere. Whenever I walk down the street,
I can feel the patter of your feet. I can feel you walking
next to me telling tales of what I mean to you and thinking
about all the things we used to do.

Your presence is so close, it's as if I can smell your fragrance
right under my nose. I am thinking of your smiling face all
next to mines, telling me how you will love me until the
end of time. Your presence is oh so strong and as I travel
throughout this day it lingers on. When I decide to stop and
dine, it's as though I feel your hand right next to mines.

When I sat down to eat, I can see your eyes staring into
mines, and you sitting there sipping on some wine.
Your presence means so much to me and this is the
way I want it to always be, me feeling you and you
feeling me until forever and eternity.

poems of love
poems of hate
closing doors
 and clicking gates

Gates of white
Gates of blue
 all beg for something new

something new
  something old
 something saying lets be bold

i know you
 and i know something you
would like to do

 so take my hand
and lets leave behind the seas
 and the sand

Cancer

I can't believe I haven't posted this one. I wrote it last year, can't remember the exact date. Anyhow it's a song. ---------------- You know this world is cancer Without these prayers being answered It's been too long a ponder We wonder We wander Far from here Lost in fear Can you see them fall? You lose one you lose them all She's seen the cruel hearts of stone She's seen the cancer we've become So lost in worry we just fall down Underground we burn Till the last one's sure Can you see me fall? You lose one you lose them all Cut me out of this body! Cut me out of everybody! Grind me into little pieces! Tell them that I'm the reason- You know this world is cancer Without these prayers being answered It's been too long a ponder We wonder We wander Far from here Lost in fear Can you see me fall? You lose one you lose them all You lose one you lose. . . Them all

The Nobodies

We are the nobodies
Unloved, un-hated, un-phased
Outcasts of the world of popularity.
Banished to the fringes of existence.
Finding joy- is a rarity- no solidarity
Always seen at a distance-
because we are the resistance

Nameless faceless and speechless-
When we speak the response is an echo
Bouncing around in a black hole
We can't hide from it so lets go
Into the darkness of our abandoned soul

Alone, lost, and shrouded by darkness
left to face the shadows of heaven
Lost in life- Our suffering is endless!
To each other we are brethren.

We are numbed by pain
And blinded by shame
we are social life's bane
playing popularity's game

We are the nobodies...

Reflections: Intellectualism

To Dine, To Die;
Conversations spiral
While thunderous eyes
Grasp concepts to recycle.

Constant debt crisis
A political paradox
Grating social devices
Over the sorting of socks.

Pseudo-analysis
An endless groan
Argumental paralysis
The debate grants no throne.

Existentialism
Over a roast
Potatoes won't listen
To who talks the most.

"That point is so interesting"
The floor is open for chat
"What is real?" not a thing
"Meow" adds the cat.

Holding The Sun

I grew up in a place I didn't want to be
Became someone that i knew i didn't want to be
Society grabbing me by the throat telling me to be me
But who are they to say that I should be what is not me?
Catastrophe shaking this world, leaving fault lines at the finish line
Scarred for what we have to look forward to
You can't put your soul on hold for all your past pretensions
Earthquakes changing the course of continuation
Throwing vibes from left and right
Hitting the pedal to ignite
What imperial dilemmas that arise from such despise
From what i know i'm just another reflection of disguise, who am i?
Those that float around with no worries in the world,
Don't care about the money, all they've got is what's gold
The people who kill, for power and respect
Dont realize what is out there is what's in the next step
And it's all in their head
We've got all of eternity
The tower of destruction that'll set us all free
Cause in the end we always find that there's another place to be;
physically or mentally.
People walking around with frowns carved into their faces
I wonder if theyll ever look up and see that they've been going places
All along,
Giving up falling down through the cracks of the ground
They're at fault for all loss that was among their own soul
Oh, its a cold world
As it slowly turns, im watching the clock tick as i feel the room burn
And its funny, that people try to play the game of constant manipulation,
Repeated deification.
Thinking they were born alive, but really,
They were only born to die.
No not everyone lives under the sun these days
A lot of those that fear thy own will fall pale in the shade
Under a dead willow
How we all want the sun because it's here for a reason
We all expect it to invest in the seasons
The government work of treason,
Throwing ropes to pull it down
Making this place so much hotter than it was when underground
I can't stand to be bothered by the burn that it's put on my wrist
From slamming this door shut, we've got to put an end to this
We're destroying what's inside ourselves cause of things on all the shelves
Yet he destroys, and he breaks, so we build
They take the money, and we run it while they kill
Although it's kinda funny that the state depends on pills,
I'll hold the sun and run away from all that's real.

The bluesman

The bluesman.

The bluesman
He’s up there, he’s a star
As he clutches in his hands
A battered old guitar
The bluesman knows his own damned worth
He does it in his style
And folk they come from miles around
And have done for a while

The bluesman plucks those strings
And wails his old blues harp
Then comes in with his rusty voice
Maybe he’s flat or sharp
But no one ever notices
They’re caught within his spell
When that bluesman does he’s stuff
Then in his world they dwell

With the bluesman
You get just what you see
He’s not out to impress you, man
He’s busy being He
And when he plays, he’s ‘It’ my friends
He pulls you into him
The bluesman can you hear him now?
When all the lights are dim.

I Don't Want to Leave the Party

The long, long night
Is winding down
From distant rooms
I hear the sound
Of fine old friends
Taking leave
The evening ends
And I believe
The time to follow suit draws near
My heart is tired, but my mind is clear.

The shining lights
Are fading out,
The dawn lies weak
On the walls without
The voices drift
And steal away
As we search for deeper
Things to say
The sands keep flowing through the glass
As present lives become the past.

     - And we all grow old
     - As the Earth spins around
     - As we hold to the love
     - By which we all are bound.

I don't want to leave the party
          It's always been such fun
Through all the years and tears and fears
Feels like it's only just begun.
I don't want to leave the party
But I'll follow all my friends.
Who knows what waits outside the door
When the magic of our living ends?

The hand that holds
Your glass of wine
Is cracked and aged
As much as mine
The shadows of
Our memories
Are lengthening
Into the seas
Of onward flowing history,
The days once shared by you and me.

The love that lit
Ten thousand nights
Is still alive
And burning bright.
The time we spent
On sharing dreams
Is further now,
Or so it seems.
The lives we built we can't forget,
And no one wants to leave just yet.

     - And we all grow old
     - As the Earth spins around
     - As we hold to the love
     - To which we all are bound.

I don't want to leave the party,
We're all having too much fun.
Yet while smiling we'll still disappear
Now that the play is closed and done.
I don't want to leave the party,
But I'll go, with all my friends
Who knows what's waiting just outside
When the spell of living softly ends?

Revised- Reflections On A Gift Of Watermelon Pickle...

That half grown chrysanthemums/
Stirring up like accuser's.
Life is compared with what two things ?
Which do you think is the richer more revealing comparison ?
Poets use many symbols/
Geese flying south can be a symbol,
Of that of approaching winter/
Heart's symbolize love,
In this brief expanse we call life,
One may want to cry out in a revolt ?
Other's simply take in a breathe of fresh air/
Ponder that many other's that don't even care ?
We all must become united in this great cause !
Not to use this concept loosely/
Yet to humbly ponder a thought,
What do you all think tells a more detailed story ?
The poem or the picture ?
Love can grow out of a billowing cry/
Perhaps a cut nor a mere stye in the eye ?
The seventies had embarked on this journey/
Not to mention that of Timothy Leary ?
This took us to a vast opened door !
To break on through to the other side/
Lest I emplore,
Still we have every bit of reason in which to grasp/
That lattice decor to that shine on the asp,
A sweet juice filled with fine honey nectar/
The future resources,
Allow the creative poet/
To begin to explore the valley of much more !
In gaining the proper word/
Fresh out of the Autumn air !

life now

the life that you have now
is the one you will cry over when you are removed from it
it happens that many lives are taken
away from the now and when we lived
the can’t grow fast enough is bicycle hard to catch up to
crispy in leaves, and, bare under the bark

Give me my soma, you pretty young thing

I swallow her bluest serenity whole
So she may return the favor,

In her consumption of my soul
My feelings I may waiver.

Give me my soma, you pretty young thing
So I can’t imagine the happiness you bring.
Then should your lips depart my direction,
I shall not regret exquisite perfection.

Let my dreams dissolve with numbing sleep
And dispense my blood of wonder,

For from my fears she’ll gently keep
The pain that would asunder.

Give me my soma, you pretty young thing
So I can’t imagine the happiness you bring.
Then should your lips depart my direction,
I shall not regret exquisite perfection.

And so our fleeting tryst must end
And fondness found thereof,

For she forbids to comprehend
A notion such as love.

Give me my soma, you pretty young thing
So I can’t imagine the happiness you bring.
Since your lips did depart my direction,
I cannot regret exquisite perfection.

I like your love

I like your love
It's pure, it's innocent
and I don't think I've seen this before

You replenish my reserves before it's necessary
you lift my wings up and
make me superior to my adversary
Creatively providing the exact amount of
what I need to go another day
I like your love
and for as long as you'll have me I'll stay

You make me comfortable in my space
What she share cannot be replaced
with any other type of love
be it artificial or tainted or lustfully blatant
Those illusions don't exist because
we found this love and we claimed it

I cherish those nights when I scratch your head
When you sit between my thighs and I twist your dreads
We become an us that is so pure
that the spring waters question the purity of it's source
I like your love - it's a divine force

Can You Be Mine

She's marking my direction,
It's her that I see,
And there's nothing I can say or do,
She's struting down the street,
With fire in her feet,
And I'm thinking I should make a move,

No steps I heard,
She glides like a bird,
And her eyes sparked a perfect blue,
Her voice blew like the trees,
I fell to my knees,
As she said how do you do,

(chorus): 2x
I said, can you be mine,
Can you be mine,
I said, Can you be mine,
Love me forever and more,

Her eyes opened wide,
As though she was surprised,
She didn't know what to say,
She grabbed a pen and wrote down her number,
Before I asked her for her name,
She said her name was Lisa,
I said so nice to meet ya,
This girl, was playin heard to get,

I said I know you've been hurt in the past,
But you won't be hurt this time,
Her hair was so soft and beautiful,
So I told her not to pay a dime,

(Chorus): 3x

(Bridge)
Talking:
(I love the way you movin ya body, baby)
(I got so excited, baby)
(That's the way, you got me, you got me)

For Bruce Springsteen

for bruce springsteen...

it was a rain-swept monsoon day

way back then, so many moons away

when i felt the music strumming in my veins

setting me free like a runaway horse without any reins

you sang of simple truths,

your verse spoke to people just like me

in my lonely, wasted, and desolately quiet night

as you screamed out tragic human wrongs, and of everyone's plight

'bobby jean' spoke to me

of that girl down the street

glimpses of whom, we as innocents would furtively meet

and 'the river' that flowed through my ever-barren heart

led me down further roads of thunder

when slowly i finally learnt that the hardest part was fighting on

and never to surrender

to the hard-luck dreams that were born to run

while i danced in the dark

with memories vivid and stark

even as i whined like that dog who for forever lost his howling bark

and then a 'human touch' came along

and 'better days' seemed real, not just words in a song

and still you sang and swayed and spoke straight into my unseeing eyes

as gardens of secrets were opened, and as your fist punched the skies

in an anger that i too felt and in whose cauldron i too burned

as we saw murder get incorporated, while on its wobbly axis, our fragile world apathetically turned

and then suddenly i was told that i was all grown up

working on a highway of scattered ideals

and absolving myself by sprinkling some coins in a waiting cup

well, after all these years of walking along so many a thorny road

with an armour of your verse covering me, even as i hear them taunt me and even as they continue to goad

but now i can feel myself fading away, into the bleakness of this coming night

just like the ghost of that old tom joad...

Communal Tyranny

Attempts at alteration of
My right to fully express
My own ideas and views
My liberty to address

Declarations and ideas
I happen to find crude
Imposing upon my spirit
And all too often rude

Formulation of my thoughts
On many different things
Echoes of imagination
Remnants of my being

Clear my views do remain
Unscathed by opposition
I firmly and relentlessly
Defend my true position

I do believe in liberty
To share what one believes
For a spirit and its speech
Forever should be free

tHE gRAVE yARD Of LoVe

                                         Long love day's has past.
My mind felt with howling storms,
grasping to hold on to vanishing love.
Rape and abandon my weary soul
                                 transpires, poring with instant fires.
Oh this dark secret love does thy life
                                 destroy.
                                 Like amorous birds of pray,
                                 Once ways, and known devoured
Your beauty no more to befound
nor shall the sound of your voice.
Love to dust, love to ashes.
Our love has now gone to a private place.
                                        The grave yard of love.

All we want is to be famous, no matter what we are famous for, we will do it

Everyone seems happy
Everyone loves to entertain
Everyone wants to be famous
But will you make it in this world

Pick Me Pick Me yea

pick me pick me yea
Im nothing but a snob

A little entertainment on tv
Where you watch your kids die
The commercial reads
Need more volunteers to get shot

Pick Me Pick Me yea
Im the best shot youve got
pick me pick me yea
please select me im hot

"It just goes to show
that all we care about
is getting famous
nomatter what we have to do
we will do it
just to get noticed"

Pick Me Pick Me yea
Im the best shot youve got
pick me pick me yea
im being someone im not

Die die die die with me
because im famous now
Die die die die with me
because i want to be noticed

who's future is it anyway

i see a future of darkening days
where children are treated as vermin to slay
adults possessions are held paramount
where only talk of money spill's from their mouth's.
i feel a destiny of communities broke
suspicion's are cast at the few kind words spoke
people of power prefer things this way
technology rises as intelligence fades.
those few left willing to speak for the weak
are told that their futures are futile and bleak.
the only thing worse than this future i say
is the fact that this future is really today.

i hear the rumbling's of a gathering storm
as the lightning strikes fear of a terrible new dawn
stars in the sky are dull in their light
for they feel the shame of watching earth's plight
as we all watch it come furious and fast
not one of us learning the lessons of past
so shelter yourself in money and gold
and hope that your god's will rekindle your souls
the devil is stirring in each of our hands
as we are the labour that works to his plans
and the worst thing of all that causes dismay
is the future i write of is really today

but fear not my friends for all are not foe's
suffering will fade as redemption comes close
the devils and demons that laugh loud and sneer
will turn on their heels and finally face fear
children of suffrage will rise with the sun
and learn nothing of pain for it shall finally be gone
the dawn of free love will exude once again
crash into the present like a white knighted ghost train
and if anyone tell's you to live life how they say
ask them who's future it is anyway

come home (second verse)

Wifey don't like the way I spend my time
I'm in the streets more than speed bumps and traffic signs

every time I dip she giving me lip
but to find these chips I got to grind like the Clipse

She's always crying she wants some quality time
she's always crying she wants me out of the grind

she sees me dyeing I probably will
a drop out with no marketable skill

so I place all my hopes and dreams
on the c.r.e.a.m generating by what makes them fiend

now I rarely lay my head where I reside
hustle hard for my unborn seed and I

oops made the wrong move now I'm doing time
for selling slices of the devil's pie

now I make collect calls on the phone
she tells me that she needs me It's hard to carry on
I tell her keep her head up stay strong
but she don't want to raise this baby on her own

she cried this ain't the life that I deserve
It's hard, I'm tired from work, this baby working my nerves
and the stress brings the chest pains
now days I'm less sane
last night I could not sleep praying that death came

and I feel the heart in her tone
the pain it resonates and penetrates to the bone
I want to reach out to touch but it's just a telephone
she never in her life felt so alone

Love it

I love it when you're kissing me
I love it when your hands touch my thighs
Passion slowly increasing
breathing deeper
Gaining momentum for the moment
that draws nearer
Now you're whisperin in my ear
Temperature's rising
moaning, grinding
my body to the rhythm of each
breath
Enjoying kisses with your tongue on
my neck
While creating secrets between us
that manifest
into beautiful stories of lust and
fantasy
Unafraid to confess
Rivers flow
The scent of the pheremones
The beat that the song's on
Tuned in to your passion
I’m feeling it’s time to make this happen
Finally releasing fear and stress
through pure emotion and love
Freedom from hurt and distress
I love it when you’re kissing me
I love it when your hands touch my thighs...

My Family and Me

It's amazing how quick things can change.
First your running with the kings, and then you're knocked out of range.
It's strange. I used to worry and stress over friends.
Now I've grown to be a man. Maybe know a few of them.
All that time I could of studied. Did better in school.
Got a job and made it big. Maybe now I'd be cool.
Who's the fool? Now who's the bull? I know that's not me on the top.
Life is always making turns weather you like it or not.
The past will always be the past. My glory days may seem gone.
But, now its time to start a new.The stories keep coming on.
I've got a new girl. She means the world to me.
She keeps me warm at night, my best friend, my new dream.
Since my car accident, still got a limp on one side.
Still working with my memory, still need a friend who can drive.
I love to Karaoke. I get noticed in bars.
My mom's always there to catch me. Tom's working with my mom's cars.
My sister's in the Army, my niece is a big part of my life,
Friend Zach keeps assholes off me, and God is my wife.
AJ's always there to help, Brian is my LOST bud,
Mary's out of school, Lil cousin, Hunter's a stud.
Grandpa still is my idol, JT is still the music man .
The Adam's still can party. Chris, living good on the sand.
I may only use one hand, but I plan to be the best.
At all I do in life, cause there's not that much time left.
The blood test that I took says Landon is mine.
I hope this all works out fine in time and help to make my son's life shine.
JC who's down in Georiga, my heart is screaming for you.
I hope that you recover well. It can't be worse then what I went through.
Uncle Jimmy where you at? Where's Matt, Corie, and Pete?
I know you all are doing good. Serviolo's are a hard team to beat.
How's the rest of the family? I love and miss you all!
I hope you all are standing tall and I pray we never fall.
These last words that I say, I say only to you.
We've got the best family in the world and you know I LOVE YOU!

POETIC PARADISIACAL MOMENT

Involves words as you close your eyes the Word-guide leads you.
Each spoken or read word is like soothing oil for your tired soul.
You feel the comfort as well the love as the Word-guide caresses you.
Beautiful plant life likes never seen before gives your inner-soul total bliss.
Fragrance like never smelled before opens up your senses as flowers sing.
Smooth flowing river adding the background beat while you stand at the
shoreline.
You feel so at ease because your heart wants this glorious moment to last
forever.
Just to walk daily with no worry, no confusions and all other letdowns that creates
stress.
Replay this with universal music to lead your mind to that special quiet place
within you.
Continue to pray, because the Greatest Creator did promise that for his earthly
children.

REAL MEN DON'T CHEAT ON THEIR WOMEN

God simply made man and woman
to be together for the rest of their lives...
it's a blessing this heedless world
has not fully known;
and it's so rare nowdays
to see two people in love,
and promise each other to be faithful!
Is that all so impossible?

Real men don't cheat on their women,
real men give their whole hearts full of gold
to those who really love them;
I've come to know a good man
who did just that for his woman,
and he still loves her although she's old!

Unfaithful men, would you rather have
an unhappy home or feel a joy
as sublime as the sunrise in glory?
Untrustworthy men, give up what you crave;
you can be the strongest man on earth,
and still can't stop the tears gathered inside!

Real men don't cheat on their women,
real men adore and cherish them 'till they're gone;
to be beside them and share a lovely dream,
to console and encourage them when they're weak!

They tell you
what to listen to
They tell you
what to wear
They tell you
what you should believe
They tell you
when you care
They tell you
what you should eat
They tell you
how to cut your hair

Oh mindless masses
throw them your money
Ignorance is sweeter than honey
You fall for their tricks
and buy their treats
You lay down
and kiss their feet

They tell you
who you should date
They tell you
thin is in
They tell you
being dumb, being blond
is what you should become

Oh mindless masses
give them your voice
Give them choices
you should make
Fall for their lies
Believe what they say
They’ll change your mind
the very next day

My truths and thoughts IV

these young cats are sick
bullets zip then they dip
witnesses zip their lips
wont say sh1t

they just skate off
homicide scene taped of
no dental records the whole face shot straight off

no his squad plots revenge
the cycle don't end

there can be nothing further
than thou shalt not commit murder
on their minds
in these sinful times

the elders say the end is near just around the corner
it's even closer if they swarm you with the toaster to warm ya

don't want to be a goner you best to use your brain
this ain't a spectator sport bullets don't know name

and there's no rhyme or reason life ain't the fairest
I've seen the wicked prosper, the righteous perish

the fool made of wise men, the strong turn to weaklings
in the land of the blind a one eyed man is king

and we blaspheme
with all this songs of murder we sing

in a sea of sin we drown
with nothing holy around

were like sheep without a she shepherd
lost looking for direction
self hate got us pointing weapons
at our own reflection

my mind flexes
spending time trying to find the message
but every answer uncovered lead me to another question
to death we all are destined
but what really so perplexing
is no one knows the hour or the second
while powerful but reckless
idiots with weapons
maim with no discretion
like their brains were infected

Confused Lot

How confused a man feels
When he is ready for deals
He cannot decide definitely
What can be proper reveals?

Blur out the secrets to others
May cause so many dangers
And hiding to much of facts
Will make you alien traders

Speaking too much can lead
To sow severe disputed seed
But keeping silent too much
Causes a suspicion to breed

A response well measured
Steadfast as well unaltered
Can be an all right choice
Where one is not bothered

SPRING IN AIR, LOVE ONLINE

SPRING IN AIR, LOVE ONLINE 20/02/13

Nowadays , life is so unpalatable and stoic.
So unnecessarily busy and eventfully hectic.
Young folks thus gather in a shadowy discotheque, to kill,
The retreating winter shedding its last chill.
The chirps of the departing migratory,
With massacred green in a concrete urban factory,
Welcomes the spring breeze, and the cuckoo melody tune,
That too so rare,
For a short term vacation, in a vanity fair.
Some emotional fools and roaming vagabond,
Can feel the spring air and reminiscences their fond,
And cry for the past and the long lost love bonds.
Beside them no one dares to mingle,
Their soul with the colour of butterfly twinkle.
No one cares to see the young green boughs,
Dancing in a frolic of crispy air that jingle.
All is there, in the air, except love my dear,
‘Cause love is now confined,
In another little world so secure.
Where there’s no hasty rushing,
No meaningless blushing,
No hassled waiting, no worrying restriction.
Love is just a ready-made parcel,
At a press of a small button.
Love messages, e mails , tweets, face books ,web cyberspace and profile update,
Takes all the bothering responsibility, does all the necessary tete-a-tete.
No need for time taking arguments,
No need for extra commitments.
Sometimes, meetings could be arranged, but
Oh! Never in public park or in a hopeless garden.
It could be in a shopping mall or a cool coffee den.
The gorgeous and the grotty,
All gather at a V-day party.
Those who are privileged,
Share their love with diamonds and wine.
But for others, not a single grape,
Is sour in a vine.
Everything is taken for granted,
Just simple and fine.
‘Cause love can also be shared,
Simply free of cost on line.

Lies Become Life

These are my scars
And I know they haven't gotten me far
But it's complicated
And this is who I am to be

They say everything happens for a reason
Well I have two cents worth a dime
To say nothing good about that line

This isn't really fair
I didn't ask for you to take it this way
I can't just walk away anymore
Keeping my head from that door
Your tricks don't keep it away anymore

This is how I choose it to be
It's the closest I am drowning to be free
And just leave me and let me see

Theres only one way to get it all away
I will stop at nothing and think it all off
Just play that beat and watch me hit the wall

This isn't really fair
I didn't ask for you to take it this way
I can't just walk away anymore
Keeping my head from that door
Your tricks don't keep it away anymore

I won't let you down
And hit the floor
There's apart of me thinking,
I can't do this anymore

I'm truly convinced
That telling you this lie
Will make it the truth in my life

I wont let us down
I'll keep my guard around
And watch my head hit the door
Am bound to fall down
My tears hit the floor
As I lay down
I know I ain't coming back for more

This isn't really fair
I didn't ask for you to take it this way
I can't just walk away anymore
Keeping my head from that door
Your tricks don't keep it away anymore

cycle of foolishness continues

every year these streets get hotter and more cats burn
in and out of the beast belly taking turns
too many stories on lost potential
all they know is iced grill, steel, and street credentials

I not a hypocrite I'm well aware of what I did
walking that fine line between a man and a kid

I stayed drunk on the regular day in and day out
back when Private Stock use to make the 64 oz

I was clueless my ruthlessness getting me by
only plan for the day was get highs and survive

I was so young and restless
reminiscence on my first stick, first time I took some bodies necklace

You're Such a Tease (Revised)

It was late at night
And out of the corner of my eyes
I could see your body going to the beat
Swaying back and fourth grinding to the heat

All the eyes where on you stripping you down
With drinks in their hands starring at your curvy ass
You’re just throwing it around and teasing them on
they look like horn dog puppies following you round

you’ve got that motion
you’re such a tease
moving like a snake tongue in the breeze
cause’ your looking for one to fill the fire

They couldn’t keep up ‘cause they were drunk
guys lining up and dancing around up on the balcony looking down
everyone was trying to steel a feel
a flashing mirrored ball made it surreal

each time a guy tried you just shook your finger no
you’d smile and grin wearing that short body skin
Licking your lips and throwing your hips
you new what you were doing just playing the game.

you’ve got that motion
you’re such a tease
moving like a snake tongue in the breeze
cause’ your looking for one to fill the fire

Sorhleod

It was the myriad relapse The shadows perched, time slipped, the temptation resided to my mind I'm sure I have most the soul I never once had Lost; once you go into the dark eternal black there's no hope of dreaming of atoning back Small child I cling to you trying to savor the innocence When I could believe in everything again I tried All along to search for the truth But " the truth" is something that the truth eradicated I want to be ignorant again Can't face reality again Cease the pain that the pills can't heal Evaporate the blood that negates the strife Let me believe in everything again Break the fear Remove the pins of reality And I still wonder why And I still wonder why "forgive" makes me cry I can't make it stopThe razor beckons my name The scars and all their Shame... Find a way to pierce my serpent heart Through the iron membrane it's bleeding, I know When I have no cigarettes to burn When I have no more knowledge to Learn When I have no more xanax To cause concern I've dried out My heart is loosing it's touch There's no way out The abuse and abyss has sealed me Cease the pain that the pills can't heal Evaporate the blood that negates the strife Let me believe in everything again Break the fearRemove the pins of reality And I still wonder why And I still wonder why "forgive"makes me cry I've dried out My heart is loosing it's touch There's no way out The abuse and abyss has sealed me I've dried out tMy heart is loosing it's touch There's no way out The abuse and abyss has sealed me

I Pity the Poor Protester - A Song

I Pity the Poor Protester
as he tries to make his case
discredited at every turn
by the ones who run this place
now he’s got some big ideas
with new tools in his hand
and he still can’t put it down in words
that they will understand

CHORUS
To cut these iron chains
Tear down the old machines
Will take more than words
Will take more than dreams

I Pity the Poor Protester
as he takes his virgin punch
in the basement of his enemies
while his friends are out to lunch
and if his idealism turns to hatred and disgust
he’ll be no stronger, and no longer
someone you can trust
but if he’s genuine
to shake him from his cause
will take more than fists
will take more than laws

CHORUS

I Pity the Poor Protester
I really wish him well
though his message may be muddled
it rings clear as a bell
for through his growing network
if you read between the lines
injustice comes in many forms
and comes too many times
he’s losing everything
some have too much to lose
I Pity the Poor Protester
now whose side do you choose?

Oh Yohanes

Oh Yohannes
I must be honest
I’ve got a jones for you
And when I saw you,
I remember the sun reflecting
rays of light on your skin
so bronze, so peaceful, so simple

I wanted to tell you all my secret
desires and temptations
and kiss you and hold you close
and when I realized I was dreaming
and that this feeling was a hoax
I began to be led astray
by sexual desires and thoughts of foul play

but in the meantime
I have fun with the fantasy of imagining you beside me
I stay up countless nights thinking
about how we could defy gravity
and how we could somehow reverse all the laws of sanity
and just do something crazy
I can’t make it stop
I must be crazy

And when my eyes closed...
I wanted to fall in your arms and tell you about all the fantasies that were created in honor of you

And tell you how your eyes seem to remind me that it’s okay to be beautiful

Oh Yohannes
I must be honest
Your deeply rooted stare
will long remain a part of my fire
and my insanely human desire to make love

Dark, cold World.

===== A little rhyme inspired by DaryIsue LockHart's rhymes =====

It is for the lost.. that I wanna find the way,
Out from this dark place, of pain and misery.
Back to ourselves.. how we were, when we were young,
Before evil played its hand, before the time we got stung.

I wanna be free.. but that'll have to wait!
I'm trapped by emotion, by feelings soo great.
And I'm not alone.. in this victims prison,
D.I.Y Labotomy, I'll make the first incision.

I don't want drugs, to ease my pain,
I found Nirvana.. but can't get back again!
Some say I'm insane! This train of thought I'm on,
Goes through a portal to another dimension.

But it's a dark, cold world.. where I know no fear,
My heart it stops, my mind sharpens.. becomes clear,
When I look into your eyes.. I can see your soul,
I can reach into your heart.. but I might lose control!

Sometimes I can see.. just a little too much,
And round-about that time, I start to lose touch,
See.. I know why you hurt, but I could hurt them too!
I'd make them scream, long, sweet, songs of sorry.. just for you.

However.. I know something, that they don't know,
I've had a little glimpse, of the place, that they go,
Where they like to turn the tables.. and play little games,
Where sticks and stones hurt, but so will the names!

Till then.. keep strong! Keep your mind awake,
You've walked through fire, I think you should take a break,
But you've seen the enemy, like me.. you wanna fight,
Thats why I walk alone, with no shadow, in the night.

The Glow of Soft Truths

the glow of soft truths
tucked between the folds of the heart

radiates through the coarse fabric of each fleeting day

transcending the hurdles that litter the way

extinguishing the trepidation and the unfounded fears away

beyond the very now with an eye firmly gazing towards the coming morrow

where genuine peace may be found while dispelling the nasty sting and the solitary sorrow

and when that moment is finally found

when peace and mirth is felt all around

the bliss may seem plentiful, and the being with simple joy may abound

without a word being spoken

without the din, the static of the endless drone

so infused with soothing music, yet hardly making a sound

for the truth of peace that lies in wait

just beyond the corner

is a truth that may never be sought

or bought

for that truth of peace must be ushered inside

until deep in the soul it will then quietly reside...

Rant #01

My life flutters by, like a butterfly.. a lullaby,
Making me cry and sigh, untill I die,
I'm lying here thinking.. it's all been a waste,
Just a hasty taste, of all the pleasures I've chased.

This P.M.A, which I display, every day,
Is the only way, I'll make it through.. yeah, I'm Okay,
Positivity, with a Darkside twist,
Missing the point.. do I even exist?

I kissed the lips of fate, now I cannot escape,
The caped-crusader, keeps me safe, from ass-rape.
I predict, great things! For me, at any rate,
Inflating my ego, fashionably late.

Now I've arrived, only the Fastest will survive,
Use your double talking jive, none will be left alive!
But If you don't attack.. I won't have to defend,
And send you to Hell, let's pretend this is the end.

Draw up a treaty, sweety. What we want is Peace,
Not monopoly on World War 3, this madness.. it must cease!
Are YOU insane? 'Causing pain? Check your brain!
The lame-ass excuses all remaining the same.. again.

My Brain's a machine, running at obscene speeds,
You don't know my thoughts, my words or all my deeds,
My needs are the same as yours.. we both bleed,
So read the writing on the wall, and your mind will be freed.

They say I'm LoCo.. smoke too much, it's a joke.. oh!
My Woman's been messing 'round town.. go get the gun Joe,
Slow down! Where you going? I'm just blowing off steam!
Blowing up time. In space, can't hear you scream.

NO! I'm not mad! I'm totally sane,
But it feels like sometimes, we're all on a crazy train.
First-class ticket, next stop.. the Asylum,
I need the Ghostbusters! There's no answer when I dial 'em!

So who am I gonna call? The Police will arrest ME!
For aggravated assualt.. they're not getting me easy!
Lock me up? With no fags and no drink?
I'm gonna go ballistic! You'd better go and fetch the Shrink!

You wanna hold me back? Get the Feds and the Army,
I'll take some drastic measures if you really wanna harm me!
Calm yourself down.. learn to see with both eyes,
Time flies.. surprising how fast it slips by.

FAITH KEEPS US APART

It seems the path Iam on is changing everyday
the road uncertain just an endless shapeless gray
some would say it would all be clearer if I took up there religion
even with the doubt Iam not scared enough for that decision

I see the faith you placed in one of the many saviors
I lame excuse for the centuries of mad behavior
Iam sure your prophets where the very best of man
but your church and bibles where never in the plan

so every race has a version of there own
stories stolen from the gods of the past spoken out like it was always known
not one of these faiths is open and understanding
they keep others down and your soul churches are demanding

then you history holds no science no enlightenment
dogmatic foolishness written before free government
and every soul that is afraid to die or to ashamed to live
if you stop thinking then heaven is what they give

even now the human mind is found wanting
but reality is intelligence is hard work and life is daunting
if only the concept of good will and love
we understood without some sign from above

if you need the ancient fiction to ease your pain
I respect you and to all other men you should do the same
your saviors were righteous there’s know doubt
in there time they worship but no church was there twist whets its about

there have been many Christ’s since the beginning of man
the Mayans and Muslim have had tales since they ruled by the roman
dry king ghandi and many more sacrifice there life so others could be free
in my mind that’s what Jesus is what he is supposed to be

even know there some man of great worth he has no money no powerful church
he’s giving of himself and and loving the lost I dare you to search
and see the truth were in this together and this is paradise
we are the only keepers of our fate we must realize

I can no longer people pay to pray and talk down to others who dont believe what you say
but Christ himself did not hang with the saved he knew the hopeless so he could see them ok
but times have changed were not ruled by religious empires mad with slavery
we fought for those rights not with one mans good with collective human bravery

a new age is upon us and the true test is coming not one of prophecy
the makers of worlds the stars the cycle of suns chaos of the galaxy
I hope soon we see are only time is now there is no second chance
are race needs to come together and make a united stance
if faith keeps us apart do we even have the heart

Straight Up Sin

You woke on this day
your heart pounds
you can't breathe.
Contemplating your needs
your thoughts feed
the hunt.
Your focus to find
to seek
there's no truth.
Deceived by the feel
thoughts of pleasure
you feel pain.
Depression and anger
where are you
tonight.
Pacing and sweating
no relief
you can't wait.
The searching and calling
the waiting
haunts you.
Vicious is sin
and it laughs
in your face.
Straight up sin.
You lost control and let it in.
Straight up sin.
That fear is locked up inside you.
Straight up sin.
You sold your soul and found a new friend.
Straight up sin.
When will it ever end.

come home (last verse)

its to late to squash this beef
I got my heat
I creep across the street
to delete this creep

he use to be my man before this beef evolved
it's funny how friendship dissolve

My quick attempt to get the draw he saw
as I drew he drew a Mexican stand off

And I know I should have squooze
but instead I froze
visions of us riding big wheels at 4 years old

flooded my mind
the same time tears flooded my eyes
thinking we could be the cause of each others demise

baffled by this irony as I looked in his eyes
together we escaped death more than a dozen times

as I stood there frozen
over come with emotion
watching the rest of the scene play out in slow motion

his hammer tapped the bullet followed by an explosion
I felt an intense pain as my flesh tore open

I dropped with a thud before the blood start rolling
two shots escaped from the weapon I was holding

his chest caught them both
I heard him gag and choke
he's holding on but he's close
to the end of his rope

me Im cold, scared and shaking knowing there's no hope
dam ! even in this beef we will still die close
and as I felt death approach to claim us both
a angel came and sang the closing notes

Suffering Is The Same As Living

Hope, tonight, is just a void Love is destroyed Reality impending my doom Suffering a dream that was never made for me I’m just the burden falling under your arms I understand if you give up on me Don’t worry I’ll be fine I can just wait, wait as in all eternity You deserve to be happy and free I’m just the burden falling under your arms I understand if you give up on me Suffering is the same as living Tonight I might, Today I may Set you free away from me I’m just the burden falling under your arms I understand if you give up on me You travel all across in my veins Showing you share my pain But my life was never meant for me I’m just the burden falling under your arms I understand if you give up on me I'm sorry for those days I've ruined your life Best you just ignore, forevermore I’m just the burden falling under your arms I understand if you give up on me Suffering is the same as living Tonight I might, Today I may Set you free away from me I’m just the burden falling under your arms I understand if you give up on me Suffering is the same as living Tonight I might, Today I may Set you free away from me I’m just the burden falling under your arms I understand if you give up on me

Woods, great place to hide from bullies

Beneath the soil lay our roots
Multi-legged insects walking on moss
Working hard to get the fruits
Like lost souls running to the cross
Or hungry new army recruits
With no care of profit or loss

We are the bugs
Commission on narcotic drugs
Watch as we steal the rain
Plants are ruining our brain

We feast together in the swamp
The spiders just want to push us around
They see us and want to stomp
We hide under the ground
I’m here, no fear of the chomp
It’s our other way around

We are the bugs
Commission on narcotic drugs
Watch as we steal the rain
Plants are ruining our brain

One day I hope it will change
The flower tell us one day
Not to far gone to rearrange
Apex of the sun’s way
Move to the balkan mountain range
Rather than be part of the buffet

We are the bugs
Commission on narcotic drugs
Watch as we steal the rain
Plants are ruining our brain

For Whom the Bells Toll?

"For Whom the Bell Tolls"

 by Ernest Hemingway

Do you hear sound of bells?

Do you hear weeping of bells?

The Inconsolable bells of churches are crying.

In the sky the bell - sun and the bells - stars are crying,

On the September land

All trees and flowers, like the bells, are crying.

On first of September terrorists - executioners

Have killed the biggest children's holiday:

"The Day of Knowledge"

In the small city of Beslan,

And In all Russia.

On first of September terrorists - executioners

Have shot joy and smiles of children.

On first of September terrorists- executioners

Have blown up love of parents and care of teachers.

On first of September terrorists - executioners

Have crushed hope and have brought fear everywhere.

On first of September in Russia

Was a murder

Of the most remarkable children's holiday:

" The Day of Knowledge" --

Pain of bells,

The bells' memories.

For whom do the Bells toll?

For all people

Who have been killed by terrorists - executioners

In Russia, the USA, in Israel--

In the different countries...

Do you hear sound of bells?

Do you hear cry of bells?

BEFORE IT RAINS

Taking hope out of a gloomy day
is like living without a hopeful heart;
and waiting for miracles without praying
is bringing on a specter of infidelity,
which disrupts my daily living...
making me ponder faith with distrust!

Before it rains, I hope for a rainbow at five...
believing that it will there for me to admire,
not merely imagining, but envisioning its beauty;
what is hidden from the eyes shouldn't be a mystery,
and this Humankind has created myths and legends
for the ones lacking the sixth sense!

Embarking on that journey of incognito,
solely relying on this overburdensome ego,
causes me to experience inquietude
in a most unfovarable latitude;
and freedom is confined in short miles,
when my ship comes to an halt for guidance!

Before it rains, I'll see myself securing the anchor,
and step on the pier of the safest harbor...
waving at the fading rainbow over the refulgent horizon;
taking pride and remembering the grueling fright
of a captain who never displayed a doubt...
even when the storm dashed the agitated ocean!

Someday

“Someday”
Why is “someday” such a sad word?
When one like “never” is so much worse?
Why....why “someday”?

“Someday!”
Why is “someday” such a sad, sad word?
Perhaps the saddest one I’ve ever heard...
Why “someday”?

Everybody
has somebody
Except me, it seems
but that's not why I want to leave

So out of it
feel “out of it”
Never was in
can't find the way

"Life’s one big bluff
Keep a straight face
Don’t let ‘em see your cards."

Yeah, life’s one big God-forsaken bluff
and I’m about to jump off

Someday, I thought you’d find me
Someday, I thought you’d love me
But someday ....
...someday......
someday NEVER CAME

“Someday,” they say, “You’ll find somebody.”
“Someday, you will be happy.”
“Someday, life will mean something.”
But someday I'll be SICK of waiting

Someday, you’ll see why it can’t be
Someday we’ll ALL be sorry
One day
sweet day
I’ll find my way
out of this body.

Drinkin Buddies

Pour a shot for me, pour a shot for you.
Swallow down, so quick is the liqueur.
You recoil in pleasure, it tastes good.
Set it up again, time to put up another two.

You think about forgetting the pain,
But your just making it all worse.
Slowly, slowly the picture gets dizzier,
Good judgement goes down the drain.

You love the crown, and he does his job,
Making you feel heavy then ultra light.
Words mind as well be backwards,
And all your thoughts, so many, he did rob.

You look at each other, sloppily thinking,
And you remember what you did forget.
Unsure if the other is feeling the same way.
Look away, wondering, both keep drinking.

F- it! You slow melt into the way it was.
Sooo goooood, but oh soooo baaaaadddd!
The restraint clock is over, time to give in,
You're already too far, no stop, no pause.

Tricky is the soundtrack, intense is the play.
Between are you two, crazy is this game.
Long, amazing, wishing it could last forever,
But you doubt it, you wake sober the next day.

Was so much fun, and it was much shattering.
Again, you are so weak, you shake your head.
Your foolishness, your eyes drawn asunder.
But so much more then one night of smattering.

You part, intense attraction you have to ignore,
But so comfortable and also so careless.
You try not look over you shoulder at the other.
Never again... Hell, till they put up two more.

More Doors

I must sit down and turn around
 be mindful as I sit,

the reason you can't see my face
is it's covered with your spit!

This gravy-train is quite insane
 I chew my food real good;

I have a way of saying things
 but I'm so, misunderstood!

It's alright, I'll be polite
 and say what's on my mind;

if negatives breed negatives
 I'll be the other kind.

With borrowed soap, I can't lose hope
 and air my cares outside;

if the time's not right and at this height,
 it'll be impossible to hide!

Tweedle-dee, and tweedle-dum
 no worries in the rain;

all my good and bad times
end up going down the drain.

Seems to me my final plea
 won't say as much as yours;

my journey's almost over
while you've still a lot more doors !

Led By The Kiss

Verse 1:
I truly want you to hear me
you're busy with cement's precast
I stay in limbo twisting in the pre
in intransit mixers turning fast

Must it all be preparation?
Coach when can I play in the game?
waiting kills dream's consecration
and Im losing interest in the aim

Chorus:
So self abuse increases again
cant get passed the pain of the rush
no whys misinterprets the when
making error to blame for it's crush

Verse 2:
I push all my chips to the middle
I lose myself in hope as you deal
what to do the unanswered riddle
guessing ingrediants smelling the meal

Oh the torture of what little I know
its the strings of my guitars
I pick the tunes of suffering's flow
I sing night's dark seen by the stars

Chorus:
So self abuse increases again
can't get passed the pain of the rush
no why's misinterprets the when
making error to blame for it's crush

Reprise:
Your silence tells me not to do this
can't let go of what I could miss
torture through desire for bliss
brought to disease led by the kiss

I learned Im small, less than a pawn
my heart dies and they just yawn
while its only a draft drawn
its dusk brought by the dawn

A Sisters Love By PjWilliams jim and Jack Oslager

(POEM ENTRY)
                                 A SISTER'S LOVE

THERES A HELL I FEEL INSIDE, AS A LOST CHILD CRIED, I WAS HELPLESS TO SAVE HER LIFE
SHE WASNT READY TO BE TAKEN AWAY FROM ME LORD,SHE WASNT READY TO DIE
TEAR A HOLE IN THE SHY TONIGHT, LET THE ASHES OF RAIN,PUT OUT THE FIRES OF RAGE INSIDE
THIS I WILL FOREVER KNOW IS TRUE SISTER , I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER YOU

FEELS LIKE FOREVER WHEN YOU JUST KEEP ON FALLIN, FEELS LIKE THERES NOTHING LEFT TO HOLD ON TO
FEELS LIKE FOREVER WHEN YOU JUST KEEP ON FALLIN
A SISTERS LOVE, NEVER GOES AWAY,FLY THROUGH THE SKIES OF YOUR DESTINY
A SISTERS LOVE, NEVER GOES AWAY,RESTING IN THE ARMS OF ETERNAL GRACE
I WISH I COULD WALK DOWN THE STREETS OF YESTERDAY, NOT A CARE IN THE WORLD,JUST HAPPY YO BE PART OF A FAMILY
BLACK CLOUDS ABOVE, AN ONCOMING STORM ARRIVES, IM FIGHTING TO SURVIVE, I MUST CARRY ON HER NAME NOW, AND FIND AN END TO THE HARD TIMES
FEELS LIKE FOREVER WHEN YOU JUST KEEP ON FALLIN, FEELS LIKE THERES NOTHING TO HOLD ON TO
FEELS LIKE FOREVER WHEN YOU JUST KEEP FALLIN
A SISTERS LOVE, NEVER GOES AWAY,FLY THROUGH THE SKIES OF YOUR DESTINY
A SISTERS LOVE, NEVER GOES AWAY. RESTING IN THE ARMS OF ETERNAL GRACE
AS I LOOK UP AT THE SKY, WATCHING THE CLOUDS PASSING ME BY
I SEE AN ANGEL FLY,THERES A FEATHER FALLIN IN MY EYE,
THE SEEDS THAT WERE ONCES SOWN,WILL FOREVER GROW, YOUR SPIRIT LIVES ON, INSIDE YOUR CHLIDRENS MINDS, YOU ARE THE BEATING HEART OF THEIR HAPPINESS, CREATOR OF ALL OF THIER DREAMS IN LIFE
FEELS LIKE FOREVER WHEN YOU JUST KEEP ON FALLIN, FEELS LIKE THERES NOTHING LEFT TO HOLD ON TO
FEELS LIKE FOREVER WHEN YOU JUST KEEP FALLIN
A SISTERS LOVE, NEVER GOES AWAY, FLY THROUGH THE SKIES OF YOUR DESTINY
A SISTERS LOVE, NEVER GOES AWAY, RESTING IN THE ARMS OF ETERNAL GRACE
THERS A HEEL I FEEL INSIDE,AS A LOST CHILD CRIED, I WAS HELPLESS TO SAVE HER LIFE,SHE WASNT READY TO BE TAKEN AWAY FROM ME LORD,SHE WASNT READY TO DIE, TEAR A HOLE IN THE SKY TONIIGHT,LET THE ASHES OF RAIN, PUT OUT THE FIRE OF RAGE INSIDE
THIS I WILL FORVEVR KNOW IS TRUE SISTER, I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU.

Lady Delilah Dow

Action, action! What a commotion!
“What is the latest trend?
Is there going to be an end?”
Lady Dow is trying to deliver
Leaders running to assist her

Oh, it’s a Global Countdown
Yeah, it’s a Global Meltdown

Come on Doctor Bush, make her to push
“We need some stimulus
Package in some dollars”
Come on Doctor Ben Bernanke
Is it only cutting rates?

Stage III, now it’s just got to be!
I can see the hair
Oh it’s a wig so unfair!
“Its shoulder dystocia, or a flu from Asia!”
Naah, its simply financial inertia!

It’s getting serious, I am curious
It’s gotta be Cesarean
Who is gonna be the Surgeon?
Will Bush gift it to Barak
Will Hillary, McCain or Romney wake luck?
Huckabee, who will it be?
Oh pain, oh pain! Who is gonna bring the gain?

bought with gold, sold on green ,wrote in blood

where go those men with dignified eye's
who stand against the wall facing a volley of fire
ready to drop dead, blind folded and bound
all knowing and waiting for destiny's sound
where goe's the justice promised us all
for there aint no justice in where these men fall
the crime they committed was to stand for their right's
but corporate suit's don't stand in the fight
don't stand for no cause less it's golden or green
sat counting their money in number's obscene
they're building their bridges over city's and town's
and all in their way become's dust on the ground
so take to the bank's and withdraw all your cash
spend it on freedom and have the last laugh
the world and it's structure will fall into flame's
afterward's Goodman will build it again
the same men blindfolded and stood against the wall
will pick up their brother's from were once they fall
will pick up their shovel's ,hammer's and nails
and search on together for a new holy grail.

Unexpected Heaven

Oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh
Black and white, it was all I saw
Everywhere I turned, everywhere I went
Ice covered everything, too thick to ever thaw

I couldn't see in front of me,
I couldn't find solid ground,
My world was crashing down around me,
Any cries of help dying without a sound.

So much time had gone by
And I was slowly drifting
Too much time had gone by
And I was slowly fading

But then you came to me, so unexpectedly,
I couldn't see a thing
You offered me, such a sweet reality,
I wondered if I was dreaming
You took my hand, made me understand
the truth among the lies
And wrapped in you, so safe and sound
An unexpected heaven is what I found

You were everything to me,
my feet were finally on the ground,
the world kept spinning quickly,
but in your arms I stayed as it all crashed down

So much time has gone by
And I'm slowly seeing
Too little time has gone by
For me to rid of this feeling

And then you came to me, so unexpectedly,
I couldn't see a thing
You offered me, such a sweet reality,
I wondered if I was dreaming
You took my hand, made me understand
the truth among the lies
And wrapped in you, so safe and sound
An unexpected heaven is what I found

Bright and true, I saw it in you
Life and love, I had found it all
A fairytale ending, it was in my sights
All because of you, my unexpected knight

And then you came to me, so unexpectedly,
I couldn't see a thing
You offered me, such a sweet reality,
I wondered if I was dreaming
You took my hand, made me understand
the truth among the lies
And wrapped in you, so safe and sound
An unexpected heaven is what I found

And wrapped up in you, so safe and sound
Happiness is what I gained
An unexpected heaven, is what I found

Living Her Life

She sees the pains,
Which her native folk have gained.
She changed from a little girl
To someone who has always had the potential
To change her own little personal inner world.
As a child she never went through
What some other children of her people
Had went through themselves.

She used to never knew how the roots
Of all her people’s issues
Were and are so controversial.
Blessed was she, as a very young child,
For not knowing fully all the reasons why.

Blessed that she is and will always be
Full of feeling, and always quietly wondering “Why?”,
Now she is filled with new knowledge and a developing sense of wisdom
Within her own individual mind.
She is now what she had always
Envisioned and imagined before, since her elementary days.
She is (“I am...”) not entirely that same little girl anymore.
She is now one of the many of that particular kind.

Within her imagination is a longed
Wanting of finally revealing
The truths she has discovered and
How her people must change for the better.
Throughout her whole life, which she’s lived through so far,
She maintains a heart filled with feelings,
A mind filled with knowledge
And a slight emotional immaturity as representation
That her inner child self is still alive on the inside.

Her inner and past child self (who was different from all the rest,
But was also similar to them when at their best).
Never truly knew how far she’d come in life.
(As of right now and forever into the future)
How she has grown and maintained herself
Is how she had made that (her) inner voice in her head and
Had also long ago already acknowledged her true self.

She still stands in her own believing faith and faith in herself
And her lack of prejudice is what makes her naive thinking
Make her own days in her life far brighter than what others say
As they discourage her from doing
Or trying to pursue something grand and part of a divine plan.
Even after times and tribulations involving doubting tremble.

Blessed she is for being so whole in her own presumed thoughts,
Blessed she is for logical thinking based on emotion and feelings.
Blessed she will always be, for Christ himself said to a woman
(who was suffering from something for more than 12 years),
“Your faith is what made you whole.”
Now she thinks...
“Grateful and blessed I am, to the point of tears of joy and sorrow of how I used to doubt.
I now forever know what my life will be like beyond tomorrow.”

Free Range Fear

There is too much fear in the world these days,
Fear of the unknown, scared in soo many ways!
Phobias of spiders, mice, rats and bats,
Are you frightend of nothing? Why are you scared of that?

Scared of oppression? And the way they use aggression?
Are they messing with your head, using psychic suggestion?
Wrestling with your doubts will only lead to fear,
Always looking into shadows.. scared that something's always near.

You're winding yourself up! There's no reason to be scared,
But it's never as it seems.. so you'd better be prepared.
Because if you're feeling fear, it could be.. you're not ready,
With your trembling legs, and butterflies in your belly.

It's not so strange, that lots of people fear pain,
Being boiled alive, with needles stuck into your brain,
You've got to be careful, I'm afraid to say,
Be quick to make your mind up, to fight or run away.

Would you fill your pants, with a gun to your head?
Now, that's REAL fear.. you could be dead, enougth said!
Some could find your nerves and make you scream for weeks,
They can teach you about pain and how it reaches new peaks.

But the ones like that.. are fearful too,
Of justice, revenge, and the human rights crew.
They should be scared! I wanna see their faces white,
'Cause they even kidnap kids and slip away into the night!

Now I'll get swept away, as it floods from me,
See, some of these emotions, are as deep as the sea,
Some wanna get a gun, and hunt these sick suckers,
And get them on their knees and say PRAY MOTHERF%%%%%!

See this is the crux.. this is the bottom line,
If they catch you doing that, then it's you that's doing time,
It's never black & white, it's not easy to see..
There are so many fears, it's all part of being free.

Are you scared of the dark, because that's how it began?
Are you scared that it links you to the earliest man?
Who had to hunt to eat, had to kill to stay alive,
And did what they had to, so this race could all survive.

The things to be scared of are the things inside,
You can struggle and fight, but you can never run or hide,
So walk down the street with your head held high,
And face down fear.. because we're ALL gonna die!

But the opposite of fear though.. is to be brave,
Who knows how many lives you could save.
The futures unknown, and we all face change,
It is all just a part of being free-range.

FRANK'SGIVING!

Hey, Pilgrims,
Let's dress-up
Dress-down the plumes
of the dancing Peacock
(If we'd allow)
but for the Ritual;

For Francsly speaking
in tongues of plata y oro,
Pound-for-bloody-pound
How much 'cide this buys?
A simply-uneasy angst to the quest,
Oh, how Corpulent "m.d.'s" -
Which dystrophy Indigene Water - Land - Identity muscle
Manifest your Destiny! - Trophied.

Lots of time for sargeants,
for unhappy Cherokee rides on trails to tears
Led from 50,000 years to Discovery? Indeed!
With no reservation
'cept to enslave the Spirit,
And with tobacco & cotton gotten
from the corn colors of the Earth!

Are the Iroquois/Mohawk/Navajo/Cherokee/Hopi
Thankfully jeeping...?

Don You grisly-now...
Our meleagris gallopavo decapatito,
Strut and march like mute Mummera in the Charade!

                                                                            Cum Multis Aliis

BEYOND IMAGINATION

I can imagine
The Mount melting into a fount
And the fount hardening into a mount

I can imagine
The earth squeezing into a ball
And the heavens rolling into a scroll

But to imagine
You out of my sight
I’ll rather die than imagine

JACK DANIALS I CRY

IF I was a monkey, lived in the zoo.
I swing from the vine, that what I would do.
But IM not a monkey, dont live in the zoo.
So I will drink my JACK DANIALS,give a toast to you.

If the ocean was whiskey, and I was a duck.
I swim to the bottom and never come up.
But the ocean not whiskey, and IM not a duck.
So I will play TEXES HOLDEM,and drink to my luck.

JACK DANIANLS,JACK DANIALS,I cry.
If a car dont roll over me,I will live till I die
If I die meet ST. PETER,at the gate.
If IM drinking my JACK DANIALS,he will have to wait.

JACK DANIALS,JACK DANIALS,cream of the crop.
IM going to drink my JACK DANIALS ,until the day that I drop
When I drop, fall flat on the floor.
IM going to pick my self up,and drink me some more.

For Robert Zimmerman

For Bob Dylan

sheltered from the howling winds of vows and scattered souls and sweltering hate

she is a refuge from the blistering sands of dread and loss and torn and twisted fate

when the emptiness inside becomes an abyss so dark and wild and cold

my words get lost in the jangling alleys where dreams are bought and sold

I met her in those alleys among the withering roses on a bed of thorns

and she filled me up with poems banishing the scowling moments and their baleful scorns

now I lie awake and wish that I could sleep and drift away into the maze of her dream

but slumber has fled and slipped the noose around my words as they thrash around and scream

words that swirl around and around like that scarlet scarf wrapped around her face

she's a mystery still as she will always be while I sift through this empty desolate space

the storm it broke and ceased and shuffled my words as they drifted forlornly into the chasm of the dead

leaving me here still and mute and frantic as I try to pick up the pieces of all the words that have been said

far too many far too often far too conceited and far too proud

for I failed to hear the stillness of beauty as I rambled along barking my words out aloud

she hushes me now as she hushed me then in the cobwebbed tunnels of the past

while I weep more words in blood and ink onto dried parchment meant never to last

so tell her that her whiskey has been greedily gulped down and now that I am soberly drunk

I see her songs and hear her breath reaching down into my mouldy abode of hapless funk

fare-thee-well for now as I slide into the scribbled hubris of another battered rhyme

dazed by the glaring embers as they scorch the moments of quickly fading time

and if tomorrow finds me here still shell-shocked and drained in body and in mind

tell her that her wine has slipped through the loose knots that bind

tying me to this place of sanity and insanity all rolled into one

while all is numb and scarred from the deed that has been done

and as I flee recklessly chasing away myself from me once more
she'll know the words for its a song that's been sung far too many times before

(for bob dylan)

WHY DO YOU LIE?

Baby tell me why do you lie....
about the love you have for me
I can't no longer take your deception
it's driving me crazy...

You say you love me
and that you care
But deep in my heart
something isn't fair

Why do you play these games
can't you remain real
Don't you even care
on what I may feel

So I ask you now
don't give me a fake reply
Baby please tell me....
Why do you lie...

Girl you know how I feel
since the day we met
I thought of you and
thought we were set

But now we don't talk at all
we barely say much
I know another now
has taken my touch

Though you act like all is good
and still say hi
I stop and wonder
Why do you lie

Just tell me the truth
I'm more then man enough to take it
No need to pull my chain
No need to fake it

Love me for who I am
Is all I ever wanted
But now your lies I see
keep me haunted.....

But I sit here alone and still wonder why....
Why did you lie?

When I See You

When I see you
I cant breathe

When I see you
I cant think

When I see you
Should I say hello?

When I see you
I would walk very slow..

And here is what I do.. when I see you

Everytime I see your face
I got scared and I dont know what to say
Is it because of your friends?
I used to like being with you but not with them

So when I see you
I feel strange

I dont know why but I look away

That what happens when I see you ...

Eyes

Dream of a world, Where there is peace. No girls, That admit to defeat. You can walk on water, Not worrying of drowning. You can open your locker, And look around see no one frowning. I walk up to you. I study your face. I can see if your blue, Or feel out of place. I look into your eyes. Somehow I'm suprised, You haven't seen in yet. You haven't seen the best, Of me. It's a dream, Or a nightmare, For which you don't wake. I feel like a vampire, Getting stabbed with a stake. Why can't you look into my eyes, And see I love you? Dream of a world, Filled with war. See a dead girl, And be dead poor. A million things, Happen at once. You have to see, The best of me. Think about love. Think about death. You'll see a dove, On your last breath. Wake me with a kiss, So, I can see your eyes, With such bliss, Before I die. Listen to my fairytale, Before I leave, Before I go to Yale. I can see, You don't love me, But can you stop, The Dreams, The Nightmares? There's something inside of me, I can't hide from. It's my fate, But I'm too late. Dream of the possibilities, Of you and me. Look into my eyes. Think twice. What do you think? About me? Now.

A boy and a girl

I remember the day I first saw her face on the school bus such an uneasy place
we both were shy it took months just to talk soon enough we would always walk
from the stop to her house were I d stand uneasy the sweat would pool in my right hand
One night late after school she came to my house I tried to be cool
she asked if I would like to go out of course I did but I was nervous anxious filled with doubt

we spent a whole summer just hanging out some times I got so nervous I wanted to shout
I recall how she first placed her hand in mine I was sweating so bad I was losing my mind
the touch of her fingers in my sweaty palm gave comfort unknown and a relieving calm
I realize now she was just as scared but she seemed so calm ready and aware

she became my very best friend but even I knew the summer would end
before the fall came an took her away we spent time with each other everyday
a few weeks before school started again we went to the park are spot back then
she looked in my eyes for ever it seemed I was confused and young I almost screamed
then she leaned towards me with the sweetest touch she said shed miss me very much
and then it happen her lips searched and found mine out in that moment it removed all doubt
an innocent peek between dearest of friends learning how such things have there ends
after school started that year she moved away I have not seen her since that day

Forever she holds a piece of my heart the innocents we shared was ours from the start
even tho Ive grown a lot since then that young love is for thick and thru thin
we never took not a thing from one another we held each other up learned from one another
I wonder if she thinks of me I think of her and lonely nights I hope she lives happily
youth is something you cannot keep I miss those days on the grass we would sleep

somewhere inside the shy little boy waits for the day he might see that girl once again
the soul that taught me how to love and to be loved how to end and how to begin
I know ill never see her again I know its only memories something lost to the past
if I would have known it would end that way and be over so quick so dam fast
I would have told her more of the true me maybe then Id feel whole at last
sweet first love I hope you find a life of love and find your faith in the god above
she will always been in my heart and mind and for now we must leave us behind

The Noblest Career

James 3: 12 and Proverbs 15:1 have been paraphrased here in the following
poem. You are invited, dear reader, to kindly read those Bible verses before or
after reading this poem.

Teaching might be the noblest career;
But it has its dangers, in its rear.

Saint James warned us about this great trend,
That we might not fall before and bend

To worship some regretful mistake.
“How can the same source of water take

Pure sweet water and make it bitter? ”
In slanders every single letter

Causes the fire of hatred to grow;
But a kind answer frees and lets go!

For teaching is the noblest career;
But it has its danger, in its rear.

A Wanderer

A wanderer once set out
In search of some treasure to have
Nothing so precious thought about
Than something as true as love

A wanderer, once tired of searching
Threw down the anchor to settle
On halt was no pleasure in perching
In the sight of an anxious looking turtle

But then …

The wanderer met the wanderer
And thanked the One above
They couldn’t and cannot be put asunder
For truly they are in love

A wonderer once was in contradiction
In doubts of what seemed and was right
Tired of thoughts, a false discretion
A far walk away from the light

A wonderer once got to know
Of the wonderful treasure found
It was, to the one, a mighty blow
The head spinning all around

For …

The wanderer met the wanderer
And thanked the One above
They couldn’t and cannot be put asunder
For truly they were in love

AS INHUMAN AS A MAN'S HEART SEEMS

As inhuman as a man's heart seems...
hidden inside is a tender side:
a beautiful side seldom seen by others;
and that fear of being sensitive
is a real hurdle for those men sworn in pride,
but manly qualities are judged by his deeds...

A woman's perception of the common man is that
he is lives in an unintentional masquerede,
to hide the sweetness he won't manifest;
and this unconformity won't let his beauty
be capturated by intense emotions of masculinity...
will he break the myth and be appreciated?

I have struggled with it indefinitely
and embraced this stereotype unsympathetically,
why are we supposed to be so uncaring and invulnerable,
and outgrow our own resistance and be so invincible;
have we realized that disharmony,
indignation and frustration are not truly noble?

As inhuman as a man's heart seems,
many sacrifice love for an unexplanable cause...
putting vanity before human compassion:
without guilt, regard and trepidation;
have we become so stubbornly persistent...
to lose all self-direction and prospective?

A Poet's World

This poem is about the life and feelings of a poet/poetess.

In a poet's world there is heaven and hell,
and many stories to tell.
There are mysteries to solve and codes to unravel,
many roads to travel.
There are confessions of yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
Storms of rejection, dejection, and sorrow.
Reflections of love, marriage, and romance.
Expressions of flamboyance and dance.

In a poet's world there is music of rhythm and verse,
imaginations of all things on earth.
Songs, sonnets, lyrics, and beats,
gardens of flowers and of trees.
There are times of drama, prose, and learning.
A constant desire burning.
Laughter and tears and feelings of fear, all in a poet's world.
There are influences to work, criticism and hurt.
Achievement and goal, warmth and cold,
visions of life and death,
and times to be quiet.

In a poet's world there is religion, science, and belief,
faith, hope, war, and peace.
Emotions of anger and tempers that rage,
many characters on stage.

In a poet's world there are promises and dreams,
nightmares and screams,
humbleness, happiness, and philosophy,
a lifetime of writing for infinity.
It's an angel who speaks to the poet's soul,
to tell the world all his heart holds.

In Debt Blues

My cheap wine is the only thing I buy
I'm so broke I can't afford to cry
I'm so deep in debt, such a long way to get out
The in debt blues is what I'm singing about
I work for the man, I'm as poor as can be
I have no chair, no couch or tv
You can never win, if you always lose
I've got them bad, the in debt blues
Debt relief says give them a call
I'm so stressed I light my last Pall Mall
I need help, so many bills, I'm so confused
Someone please help me get rid of those in debt blues
Cabinets are empty, not a crumb in the house
Slim pickens for all, including a mouse
Cabbage water to drink, cabbage to eat
I can't recall the last time I tasted meat
No socks and worn out shoes
I just can't seem to walk away from those in debt blues
Bill collectors calling me each and every day
You have to face up to your issues, can't just run away
now I'm reaching out, hope it's not too late
I pray I haven't sealed my own fate
I ask what is a broke and poorly educated man to do
Let me cleanse myself and wash away these in debt blues

The Act

"The smile then melts off her face
in a frantic heat of boiling, screaming rage
and trickles down into a pool
of boundless sorrow...."

React like you think they think you should
Whether or not you really feel good

The act will pass on
and so will they
soon enough

Don’t you show your pain
Keep pretending you’re still sane

This life
is a dream
and it’s not long now
‘till we all wake up

Be Kind Blues

I've seen many a-man dressed in blue
Looking out just like you
But you must see things differently
'Cos he is just the same as me
Isn't he?

I've met many a-girl in green
Going to where you have been
But you must be going somewhere differently
'Cos she's in the right place to be
Isn't she?

Well can't you just let people be
Who they are not what you see
I guess it's all in your mind
But if you'd look you would find
A way to be kind

I've known many a-friend in black
In some things you both lack
But you must move a little differently
'Cos it's the same way we all flea
Don't we?

I've heard many a-one in white
Talk about how you fight
But you must listen differently
'Cos you both have the same plea
To me

Well can't you just let people be
Who they are not what you see
I guess it's all in your mind
But if you'd look you would find
A way to be kind

Shes an angels

She looked at me with her eyes
Healing everything even my lies
Even when I am descending
She never gives me an ending

All becomes peaceful with no pain
Not pushing her away I gain

Acting if she is my own
Never she is harder than stone
Generating pure spirit is a cure
Evening lights shine so pure
Love of all things she holds
Some love stands in time so bold

The Deafening Silence

There is an explosion in all of us, we try to keep hidden away
But when we decide to get even, everybody must pay
There are so many things wrong people tend to ignore
The people in and out of our lives, the screaming next door
The ones we pass by on the street
One of them becomes a victim, than on a gurney covered with a sheet
Another shot fired, it becomes acceptable violence
What becomes un easing is the deafening silence
Some people hunt for a living, others for the thrill
Humans being the worst animal, thou shall not kill
An old lady conned out of her pension
A nobody takes hostages to draw some attention
Kids bring guns to school to settle scores
Now we have metal detectors at the doors
Is there really such a thing as a safe environment
Don't be fooled by the deafening silence
I remember when Bicycles, Hotwheels and for the girls Barbies were the
greatest thing
Now it is all about the latest cell and the bling bling
Rap Artists, Rock Stars and movie Moguls are what influence the youth of today
It seems there is always a dragon for mom or dad to slay
Kids go wild without our guidance
The answer is not the deafening silence

I have to move so many new faces to be seen,

I have too pack my bags and gather up my cloths,

straight out of the glory back where I came,
new school to go I be the definition of the word pain

, im not just a skater kid im not just a punk,

I better hurry up I better get to the packing

When You're With Me

It was a gray overcast day
Humid and ordinary to anybody else
But it to me it was special in every way

We met up at this little place
Over your food and my drink we talked
I barely touched it cause there's nothing I'd rather look at than your face
I take you naturally in like oxygen when you're with me

On a gray day we set a fire at our table
Everything else just melted away
I liked the way I made you laugh
Your face fell into your hands
I loved the way you smiled at me

And when we took a walk in the parking lot
Everything else is what I forgot
Just an ordinary place
But the best thing was that smile on your face
That's when you said "I'm so happy"
I love it when you're with me

The sun was setting as we were resting by the water
I was sitting on the rail as we spoke
The way you really looked at me
I'm not sure if I'm drowning in you or floating on you like water
I liked the way you looked up as me as you stood by me while I sat
I loved the way you smiled at me

So you drove me home
I loved it when you said I was yours
Sitting beside you it felt so right
It's crazy to say but maybe, possibly this is how we should live our lives
My favorite passenger seat is yours
Cause it's so right when you're with me

This is where I want to be
Anywhere is beautiful as long as you're with me

Break me

I was confused
I was broken
What you told me
Made me fallen

I am shattered
I am battered
I am the victim in this again
I have lost in my world

You don't know
You don't feel it
But deep inside here
I am broken to bits

I thought you understand
I know you did
But why must you turned away
And say nothing to me

I saw your face
I saw you there
I want to say hi
But are you aware?

I am here
I am broken
so Break me
Break me now

I am here
I am falling
so Crush me
Crush me now

I am here
I am crying
so Push me
Push me down

And I can't believe it was me who was the one
I became the dead, and you rose frm the dark
Can't you feel the hollow emotions in my heart
I am shouting, dying, crying, praying
I AM BREAKING APART!

I thought you knew
I thought you understood me
But after all this time,
I was the one who deserved Nothing

Cast Your Bread on the Waters

Cast your bread on the waters
After many days you'll find it again
Of this be sure sons and daughters
No matter how many starless nights there've been

Cast your bread on the waters
And after many days you'll find it again
Coming down from your Father
Of heavenly lights who knows just how, where and when (chorus)

As a high wind blew in the morning
He went out in tears sowing seed
And his hands were not idle in the evening
With hopes that they both would succeed

In time the clouds became dark and gray
And the trees began shaking their leaves
But he reaped the fields with songs of joy
And returned carrying in his sheaves

(Chorus)

Before gathering the sheaves into barns
He gave all the firstfruits to God
Then loading up a seafaring vessel
He prayerfully shipped the harvest abroad

Expecting to receive a good return
He waited patiently night and day
But when the great increase finally arrived
It came sailing in from another way

{Bridge}
For He who supplied seed for the sower
And bread for food will multiply
The seed you have sown and will increase
The righteous fruit of your enriched supply

(Chorus)

Big City Life Kills

I wake and stare at the people outside my window at night.

Boy do I love this big city life.

I sometimes ride down to the park on hot summer’s nights.

Just to watch the hoochie momma’s shaken their thing all night.

Damn, I love this big city life...

I hang out with the boyz on the corner at night.

Boy do I love this big city life...

I did my first ride by the other night.

Boy do I love this big city life...

My girl just had my child last Friday night.

Boy do I love this big city life...

We celebrated her birth by getting high.

Then all of a sudden I was the victim of a ride by.

Now, here I lay in the trauma ward fighting for my life...

I had now become the latest victim of this big city life.

I ADORE MODEST WOMEN

I adore modest women,
so soft-spoken and
very elegant,
who aren't looking for men
to seduce without being
atrracted to them!

There's a shortage of men,
and they try to get whomever they can,
ugly, handsome or good- for -nothing;
all they want is pleasure, not a friend!

I love simple women
who are fashionable
and very sleek;
I love women
who can look in their mirror
and say to themselves,
" I'm beautiful! "
Honesty can make any man weak,
enough to give them much more!

Be careful of women who touch their face
when they laugh and pretend to like your kisses,
giving you the illusion of a full moon...
in the middle of a hot afternoon:
you will burn, but won't remember a darned thing;
and all that wasted energy for a quick sling!

I adore modest women
who don't wear lots of make up...
to hide a despised face;
isn't simplicity
another form of beauty?
I adore modest women
who undress you when they're hot...
they make you feel wanted without words:
and that's when my passion starts up,
and I become a real man!

Confession

I sit here in my bed of dried up tears
Alone in room, alone in my weakness
Sometimes I wonder what you would say
And what you would do if only you knew

If I let you know how much I care
If you could see how much I need you there
Just if you knew how purely I love you
What would you do
What would you say
Would you fall deeply for me
Would you walk away

Could someone hold me
Can someone console me
Cause I've never loved anyone as much
Never loved anyone as long as I have you
Going back and forth in my mind
Thinking I've got a shot and feeling like I don't
Knowing you care about me but always scared you don't
Wishing I could say this but I won't

Sometimes I wonder what you would say
And what you would do if only you knew

Well here's a confession
I'm stuck in you
You're trapped in my heart
Each day that passes
When you're not mine
It tears me apart

Here's a confession
You're so good to me
The idea of you not being mine
Kills inside
The idea of giving up is something I could never do
Every word is true

Sometimes I wonder what you would say
And what you would do if only you knew

An Innocent Dream

Last night I saw a dream-
I was in the midst of a brown gleam;
The spot was like a land of cream;
Lakes and ponds were full with it -upto the brim.

Beautiful blossoms were everywhere,
The fragrance were for everyone to share ,
The snow flakes seemed most fair,
It seemed that Nature has created them with great care.

Chocolate creams made up the seesaw,
There was cno one to guide me under law,
There was no signs of fears and flaws,
And there was a cream cat with snow white claws.

What a dream it was just like the beauty of a rose-
But all were shattered when the light of dawn fell on the tip of my nose.

Died in vain
This drives me insane
Such hidias pain

Fast Awake

Thank God for 7-27, when my son flew in
Life as it should be will forever begin
Charming little visions of how days are meant
To teach him as he shows me how life is spent

Listen to me now and read what I find so true
Words are like a beat that can start a groove
Bring the rhythm back to lift your spirits up
Don't worry too much because we all get stuck

My life seems to stop before it begins
Caught in another ever-recurring trend
Giving away every one of my previous wins
With Faith and company until my life ends

It's time now to be down again
Even faster than western winds
Life can run around, leave you in loop
Feeling that life needs one more scoop
Tip the timer over, fall with the sand
Live for every second you possibly can

I will soon learn should luck turns up
I'm lost, backwards, and running amuck
Trying to regain what I thought I missed
Elusive, erratic and ending up like this

Never have I wanted to be other than here
Life in crystal-clear brings visions near
Capable are your dreams so easily achieved
All you have to do is work & truly believe

Look for a big picture in whatever you see
Never believe free, it offers no guarantee
Just sit back and listen to tales they tell
And make your own path but remember it well

Don't try to be so deep, just work to relax
Make life a story but include all the facts
Learn about yourself when you're at the mic
Work the crowd just to see what you're like

Life will soon be everything you need it to be
Proceed with sight don't let only destiny lead
You always have control in every step you take
Follow dreams today and always live fast awake

At times I don't know where this path would go
Like I'm hosting a show I've never seen before
Filling in the gaps, taking punches for others
Learning along the way what life really offers

It’s time now to be down again
Steps closer to an unknown end
Digging up dirt nearly burying yourself
At least the digging is good for health
Live your life now, stay until the very last
Live your life today as if it's already past

HER ELEGY

“Innocent Syphilus?
He is debaucherous!”
Exploded his wife
In dismal grief!!

Avidly lecherous
Became cunning and treacherous
His lascivious play
Was his plaintive lay!

His ‘unusual canker’
Was in fact a genital chancre,
The randy Syphilus
Had contracted syphilis!

The acne on his face
Brought him disgrace
For it extended beyond the chin
And all over the skin.

Because of the sins of Syphilus
The mirth from her life vanished!
Tell me, tell me O Jesus!
Why was she atrociously punished?

As you sing

Dance to the beat
Shake your body to the rhythm
Move your feet to the lyrics
Twist your hips to the song
Let the sound control you
Be hypnotized by the music
As you sing

(Chorus) oo oo oo, la la la
La la la, oo oo oo

Move in with the beat
Try your moves to the rhythm
Twist your neck to the lyrics
Shake your spirit with the song
Make the sound dribble you
Be dancing to the music
As you sing

(Chorus) do do do, dum dum dum
dum dum dum, do do do

The Sweat On My Brow Is the Burn In My Eyes

The man has got me doing time
I am being punished, but committed no time
There was no justice, I lost my rights
The sweat on my brow is the burn in my eyes
I dig the ditches in my orange coveralls
Better than spending all day in a cell, staring at the same walls
The day I was sentenced she told me goodbye
The sweat on my brow is the burn in my eyes
Breaking my back seven days a week
I am so beaten down, too tired to speak
I beg the good Lord take me away tonight
The sweat on my brow is the burn in my eyes
My shoulders ache, my feet are sore
How many more times will I be led through this door
I hunger for freedom, but the chains make me realize
The sweat on my brow is the burn in my eyes

mother

i live like there is no tomorrow
only to find myself swallowed
i pray for for a world of peace
yet the world would rather cease

closing my eyes for the last time
i have decided to change my mind
about what is right or what is wrong
or what is poetry or just a song

silly old talk about a memory
then she walked out on me
if in it there was no truth
why she vanish in a poof

no goodnight, i love love you
only dark skies with no blue
the stars do shine brightly
but no longer enough for me
neither are your stories

A corner lamp post is home
a fiery steel drum keeps 'em warm
eyes that never say goodnight
cigarettes that hold 'em tight

up the nose in the arm down the hatch
drugs and alcohol just dont match
everyones looking to be free
feel'n cool such a fool

in there eyes the silence cries
all these people walking the streets
so many distorted visions
the cry of help just echos on

so many say escape is impossible
a no way out street situation
misguided and misinformed
street life survivor

all the vibes are right
her fish net stockings look outa sight
the grin of your appetite
life and death penetrate the night

teenage runaway and so afraid
used and abused pregnant or confused
the list goes on 'n on
on the streets trust is rare when your the shadows prayer

Real Real Real Real

Real eyes? Real lies?
You say your eyes recognize real lies
Well, how wide are these eyes that see lies?
Because the lies you so deeply despise, I realize are in your eyes
Oh, you are so so blind
Why lie?
Your so called real eyes cant recognize the real lies you provide
You lie to set up the fall of my emotional demise
Why eyes?
Are your thoughts so incoherent in your mind that you would even think you could disguise
your epic lies
Oh, my eyes can realize your "real" lies and I barely have to try
My eyes are able to detect your fables and unreel your unreal's
So, next time you say your real eyes recognize real lies, try to untie your disguised
lies
And realize it is you, who needs real eyes

Reach out and touch someone’s hand.
This will make the world a better place.
You can!

Reach out and help someone’s life plan.
This will help you find your life’s purpose.
You can!

Reach out and leave the surface of your home.
This will make you well-known.
You can!

Reach out and touch someone’s hand.

Don't belong

Me being here is like a lion stuck with a cage of elk. I'm so different from the rest. You stand around hopeless and relentless. I stand here with hope and full of strength. Can't you see the differences? It's like being in a hazard. We aren't a good combination, It's like mixing fire with ice. I'll burn bright while the rest of you melt. You are all the same, Scared of your own shadow. Can't you see I don't belong here, Stop being the same, Don't be afraid to be yourself. Or maybe, you are all truely the same. Oh, well if so, I'm not worried about you. I've got someone like me at home.

black mold

a hint of lime
brings back the time
when we were young and stupid
we loved like children
in the rain
i wish we only knew it
we walked for miles on
eighty proof spiced rum
we found no answers
the shag green carpet
told the truth about alien landers

will we go all the way
will we stay in all day
on Robitussin chasers

well we slept above the cigarette store
all on separate couches
we ran a tab
for beer and cigs
and hit four hundred dollars
bored to death
but still alive
we drove right out of town
chris got pulled over
and a dui
and then my car broke down

will we go all the way
will we stay in all day
on Robitussin chasers

brent and i stayed in a room
that rented by the hour
drank Robitussin
and each other in
and we waited for my brother
chris showed up at ten am
he spent the night in a cell
jeff showed up and took us home
and we drank til we felt well

will we go all the way
will we stay in all day
on Robitussin chasers

' Warriors ... The Battle Cry Song ... '

There Are Sounds of Ancient Thunders
There Are Sounds of Ancient Drummers
        Calling … Brave Warriors
         Gladiators and Warriors

And They’re Marching To The Cadence of Their Hearts’ Pounding
Marching, To The Cadence of The World’s Rage Resounding
They’re Going By The Beat of Their Heart’s Pumping
By The Steady Flow of Blood and Bloodlust, Tells Me Somethin’

               … Warriors …
         Courageous Warriors …

Chorus:

But, We’ve Seen These Men, Playing With Their Children
We’ve Seen These Sons and Their Laughter, I’m Hearing
We’ve Seen These Men, Loving Their Babies
And Tenderly Holding and Kissing Their Ladies

               … Warriors …
         Courageous Warriors …

2nd Chorus:

Oh Lord, Please Stop These Warriors’ Battle Cry
And The Battle Cry, Coming From Their Mothers and Wives
The Battle Cry, Coming From Their Little Ones’ Eyes
The Battle Cry, Coming From Warriors … When They Die

               … Warriors …
         Courageous Warriors …

Sticks and Stones, Swords, Arrows and Bombs
Lances, Knives, Hand to Hand Combat, Napalm
God Almighty, Oh, Thy Kingdom Come
Please Rescue Us, From The Kingdom of The Gun …

And Prophecy Is Marching – Listen, All Who Arms Bear
Warriors, Must Beat War Weapons Into Plowshares ( Isa. 2: 4 )
And When War, Is No More, Then We Will Hear
All Warriors’ Battle Cry, Will Be An Amen Cheer !

              … Gentle Warriors …
            Peace-Loving, Warriors …

2nd Chorus:

Oh Lord, Please Stop These Warriors’ Battle Cry
And The Battle Cry, Coming From Their Mothers and Wives
The Battle Cry, Coming From Their Little Ones’ Eyes
The Battle Cry, Coming From A Warrior’s … Last ‘ Why ? ’

                … Warriors …
           Courageous Warriors …

How Can Flesh and Blood, Mortal-Men, Be So Fearless, I Wonder
Are They Strengthened By Duty, Love and Honor
Facing Danger, Death and Being Torn Asunder
Sacrificing All, As A Fallen Soldier …

                 … Warrior …
           Courageous Warrior …

Off to a dance
I want to go

Flowers in my hair
Mama says Girl don't you dare

Horn's just a blaring
Papa not even caring

Begging dear mama
Please Please can I go hah hah

If your papa says yes
Then I must confess

Your mama says no
But This time I'll let you go

Be home by eleven

For if you come in late
Your papa is going to kill that date

Hiding

Hiding

There’s another part of me
That feels the insecurities
I try not to show it
I try not to blow it

I try so hard now
The best way that I know how
I try not to know it
I try not to show it

I’m hiding the real me
And I don’t want you to see
That I’m hiding all the pain inside
But I no longer want to cry

I’m pretending to be
Someone who isn’t me
I’m hiding
Yeah, I’m hiding

I don’t want you to see
What’s really inside of me
I try not to tell you
I know I don’t have to

Did I give it away
Was it something I wanted to say
Do you know what I’m thinking
I feel like I’m sinking

I’m hiding the real me
And I don’t want you to see
That I’m hiding all the pain inside
But I no longer want cry

I’m pretending to be
Someone who isn’t me
I’m hiding
Oh, I’m hiding

When you look into my eyes
You’re seeing someone filled with lies
When you look at me
That may be all you see

I’m hiding the real me
And I don’t want you to see
That I’m hiding all the pain inside
But I no longer want to cry

I’m pretending to be
Someone who isn’t me
I’m hiding
Yeah I’m hiding

"The Mental Trigger"

Mental Trigger
inside your mind is a set of rules, made to be trigged deep inside of you~
which you could never understand, because its not the real part of you
it placed in your mind to act out in a set place and time~
to do things which you would never do~ and where ones proof,
never be found because its a seed, a trigger inside of your unsuspecting mind~
because its as old as time, maybe over 2 thousand years old~
the ancient art of take your soul, and make you do things, you your self would not do~
it starts with marks on your body that come from needles in the night
you know not were they come and in the night you wake
to the smell of stringent scents made by the Concierge of design
who will be your puppet master, at this all so real monument of time
no were will there be help, who would believe in you
would i? if not for my own eyes, did i not see ~
my soul, my life taken from me~

P.S. to all who scream and no one hears

Lazy Hound Dog Blues

The alarm goes off, I open my eyes to face the day
I roll back over to sleep it away
The wife begins to preach to me
No work, unemployed, I am free
I go to the unemployment office and talk to the man
He looks at my state and says he will do what he can
The man asks me which of the three jobs I choose
I don't want a job, I guess I've got those Lazy Hound Dog Blues
I go outside, sit at the bench and wait for the bus
I've got nowhere to be, I ain't in no rush
It's getting to be late in the afternoon
Getting hungry and will be home soon
My wife left me a note saying were through
At the moment I don't care, it's the curse of the lazy hound dog blues
I tell myself tomorrow I will look for a job
Gotta clean myself up, no one will hire a slob
The alarm goes off I hit the snooze
Not today, I am nagged by those lazy hound dog blues
My wife calls, says she wants to work things out
I try to explain, she begins to shout
She won't listen what's the use
I tell there is a cure for the flu
But how do you shake the lazy hound dog blues

We Always Kill the Ones We Hate Because We Love Each Other

Hold me at gunpoint
So everyone can point at me
You look so precious
Defective as it might seem
I gave you reason
You turned it into a machine
Count the scapegoat
With the black sheep while you dream--

Someday, I thought I could be beautiful
Alone in a house of broken mirrors
You turn and question my absence
Though it was you who fed my fear

Hold you closer
The tendrils tear inside of you
You look so distant
I never asked just what you do
To deserve a reason
Whenever you can't benefit from doubt
If you clutch your bible harder
You'll never pull the splinters out

Someday, I thought I could be beautiful
But the creases are so hard to count
You turn and question
So the answers are never found

I was so empty
Till you filled me with your hollowness
You stare so deeply
But into what is anyone's guess
I let them witness
Their lamb and martyr's reason
For feeding them poison
As long as they seemed pleased

Tell me something beautiful
And maybe I can believe
In something much more vivid
Than you let me see

Feel The Car Pull You Through

When you find yourself stalled upon
  the concrete of an embankment;
Or you've slipped into neutral,idling
  without hope of concealment;
Stop thinking about it and quickly
  get yourself behind the wheel,
Kick the accelerator,nothing else
  will ever feel so real.
After awhile,regrets could overfill
  the ashtray as they grow,
Just sweep them all up and then dump
them out the driver's side window.
Forget about whatever got you stuck
  there for so very long,
Whichever route you find yourself on,
gotta know it won't be wrong.
Ignore the direction the crows have
  already gone past and flew,
Keep your eyes alert and fixed ahead,
then feel the car pull you through.

If insured comfort is something you
  find you now completely lack,
And doubts have got you thinking about
  pulling up and turning back,
That's when you need most to throttle
up and shift gears even harder,
Once far enough behind,troubles
  got no position to barter.
Sure,speed might kill,but,by the mile,
  it always gets so much sweeter;
Brake lights' red smears in the distance
  aren't yours,just another bleeder.
Watching pile-ups on the side of the
road are not what you're here for,
Turn away from such misfortunes,but
grip the wheel a little more.
Not everyone is meant to travel the
  same thoroughfare as you,
Best let them all fall away so you
can feel the car pull you through.

When your mind needs to find some
  kind of absolute destination;
Or,down the line,you see a
  border into another nation,
Place your faith with the wheel in
  your hands and negotiate some turns;
All you really need's the road, that's
what your heart truly craves and yearns.
Don't fret about the mileage,or
  emitted exhaust's slow murder,
Your model comes equipped with it's
  own catylitic converter;
The ashen asphalt grants forgiveness
  for the vehicle you're in,
It offers absolution,it's pavement
  embraces all your sin.
Distance is the only tribute the
  highway demands as it's due,
Remember what the rearview's there for,
and feel the car pull you through.

Murder Reigns

Someone secretly installed a thought inside my brain
Constantly downloading like a river through a drain
Military strategies, the overload is pain
Foreign data overlapping memories drive me insane
"I am not a war machine!"

I don't wanna Fight or to feel hatred for a nation
I don't wanna die or to kill for an education
I don't wanna live, be involved with annihilation
I just wanna cry when I see all the devastation
"Why does murder reign supreme?"

Why do people think they have to conquor other lands
Nuclear explosion only leaves an empty hand
Absolutely nothing can survive in only sand
Change your viscious attitude or you will die a lonely man
"No more war machines!"

I'm Your Blues Man

I'm on stage
Sweating
Voice tonging the drums
My screams are performing porn with the horns
Sexing the strings
Necking the rhythm section
Grooving on the spot
Getting hotter than hot
Rolling my hips while the lights are on top of me
Snapping my fingers like a deep fryer be poppin' grease

All the fellas wanna shake my hand
All the ladies want to be in my palm like a fortune teller's grammar
The smoke filled room is filled with chairs but everbody just choose to stand up
Tapping their feet
Clapping their hands after they've captured the beat

 FEELING GOOD!!!
That i'm a man that just so happens to understand
That the boss been working you a little too hard
Or that I done went through too much hell to find heaven in you
I don't mind turning you a-loose
But I just can't let ya get too far
Don't be nervous
Just let
Go of your worries
Cause they don't make good pets
And you can never tell when and if they're coming back again
But you know that the good times will just pick up and go
I don't need to see no scholars or doctors when I'm running a fever with a sore
throat
All I need is a bottle of vodka or gin and peppermint for the common cold
Either I'm not your preacher, teacher, doctor,or healer or I'm all of the above

Turn on your radio,play a tape,spin a record,put on a cd,turn on your TV or
You might be lucky enough to come and see me down at the club
 HEy hEy,
                              "I'm Your Blues Man"

Babydoll

Trying to escape from it all I detach from reality Knowing my spirit will be Safe Too much torment have I gone through To know that this story is truly mine Cut me off no matter how much I'll always find a way To fight and survive your kingdom I'm the only thing you desire I'm the only thing you hate I'm the only thing you need I'm you little Babydoll In my mind there is a haven Only I can enter, but everyone else is there Its there I will find a new tactic To keep on living in your torment On the way home I'll die a few times But just to know I really lived I'll have to find a new way to bleed If I want to escape I'll have to loose myself Cut me off no matter how much I'll always find a way To fight and survive your kingdom I'm the only thing you desire I'm the only thing you hate I'm the only thing you need I'm you little Babydoll Cut me off no matter how much I'll always find a way To fight and survive your kingdom I'm the only thing you desire I'm the only thing you hate I'm the only thing you need I'm you little Babydoll

This song was inspired by the music of Bob Marley. I love his music because it is
spiritual and I wanted to try to see if I could write something like him. You be the

Hidden Commonality

If we all want what we can't have,
How is it that
There's any happiness
Anywhere?
How can you just stop
Looking for that thing you never found?
Or does it really end?
Do they play pretend?
Is everybody secret-searching
Hoping they can stop the hurting
Now
Somehow?
I love to see all those blank faces
Passing me in simple places
I go everyday.
Maybe there's a way
To get inside a person's mind
And fill all of the emptiness
Before you're empty too.
It's a race against time;
I think that I might die.
Do you feel the same way?
That's step one.

the land of lawsuit and money

The clamorous, glamorous, amorous...
sing succinctly about their worth,
to the ragged bagged haggard masses,
who push forth their carts...of forgotten arts, through the marts.
Complaining of the waning interest in their air
to the mayor who sits upon his throne,
calling home to fill its moat, with his boat,
paid for, by the maid for,
failing to clean the railing leading to bedroom,
the bride and groom tried to room
to sanctify the event to which they went.

Hotel

Stayed at a hotel
in Tucson Arizona
darkness lit the hallway
the only place I could afford to stay
each night I would pray
that the next day
would not come
I was stuck, abandoned
hungry no food around
wondering when death would come
no way out
next door people would shout
at their crying babies
no one with any money
and empty bellies
no solutions
just empty notions
dark and abandoned
at a hotel
in Tucson Arizona

Childhood Friend

We started out friends
And that's how it should be in the end.
My first budding love,
My second friend I met,
My first guy friend.

Our opposing fates
Have left me behind
In a loveless crate.
City boy, suburban small town me,
How far away you are.

I can't sway it all away.
One day and some night
Could you become mine?

Need Some Company

So many people in here
But still
You're alone
Must be in some way better than home
Still
The TV shows what can be real
I don't wanna be aggressive
But your pull infected
Me and my instincts
Like a sweet disease

NOW WAIT NOW!!
please!!!!!

I'm sure you have a cure an anti-venom so to speak
Restore my heartbeat back to it's normal pace
I beg you miss
Don't think I'm full of it
Cause I speak quickandawfullyslick
Off hand I'll let you know it
I'm a poet
Born one going to die as one of "thee" one's
I write to en light everyday
Though I want the chance to write it for a Someone.......
If I may
I want to be paid
But my only charge to you tonite is a smile to replace
That frown on your face Right?
If you smoke I'm going to pull out the fire
If you drink
Think of me as the ice cubes that makes it cool to sip
that tickles your lips
Excuse me, but, Is someone else sitting here?

If not can I join the table and bathe in your presence
Wash the stranger's mystique off
Let you see me as I am while we talk
Need some company?
Be mine at least ....
If I can't be yours

"Anesthesia, how i do not love you"2-16-09

your breath is of a Drug-inducing interjection of a Lullaby
singing the unsuspecting, unconscious, unaware
into a deep and danger "Hetero-suggestion"

come trespass into the night
as I lay helpless in my bed
fill my thoughts with dread
make me your unwilling slave!

"Mesmerism" is by the State of usage
used in the mind to control the innocents
to a violation of which
morality is but a vapor a way~

i don't remember said the unguilty blameless
its not my nature, it is just not me~
I could not have did this sin~

how to walk the line of care?
when the air you do breath
changes you world~

to inform you, that never warned~
that your "Enemy" has a new Tool~

Unkept Secrets

If fate's when first impressions love
Then regret's yearning what never was
At ease entranced my eyes retrieve
                                                Forgotten memories
                                      Told this tale countless times
I loved an angel who lost her mind
Choose one word which rhymes with fate
Relive my life and transcend its mistakes
                             Reclaim precious time, addiction wastes
Some angels charm, yet their misery is shared fate

                                         Past memories,I can't forget
To cherish the past without regret
                                               Until my last breath
An angel's death is my secret unkept

If wisdom's embraced, trying moments mature
                                Some more fortunate, won't endure
                                Search the cosmos, search inside
                                Is regret volition's reward?And why?

                              Some lost souls embrace addiction
Save precious time , their unfurtunate fate is an intuitive prediction
Some have past lives they've barely survived
Is pain volition's reward, or human error?
Is regret finite? Will love last forever?

                                         Past memories I can't forget
To cherish the past without regret
                                              Until my last breath
An angel's death is my secret unkept

Your Body Can Break a Man's Bank

I look around and it is you I see
A girl who is a stock market catastrophe
You are a high risk investment that won't pay out
You put on your makeup like bathroom grout
I have no idea where you fall in the official rank
But your body can break a man's bank
So what you have changed the color of your hair
Your personality is a car without it's spare
Keep in mind, this is just me and my point of view
You are that piece of meat spit out because it was too tough to chew
You are the left over beer that wasn't drank
But your body can break a man's bank
Your face is like a painting that looks good from far away
Men still flock around you to my dismay
You are the results of an out of hand prank
But your body can break a man's bank
The perfume is not hiding the fact that you don't bathe
That tells me it's not cuddle time you crave
I give up, be straight with me
You are from the gutter, but men treat you like the queen bee
In a word game, your brain is the blank
But your body can break a man's bank

Hoochie Koochie Bop

It all starts when you walk in the door
Men hoot and holler as you enter the floor
Your body shakin' in all the right places
As you look around you see the looks on the men's faces
The music and the electricity have you pumped, you just can't stop
You show the crowd how to Hoochie Koochie Bop
Another hottie comes out to show you up
You both compete to see who has the better stuff
The gyrations, all the steamy moves
Another hot mama enters the floor, she is well into the groove
The crowd goes wild as a man grabs your waist
You tell him I'm the candy you will never taste
He asks what does it take to get what you've got
You tell him to get off the floor, you can't Hoochie Koochie Bop
A female approaches you and grabs your hand
Something about this seems right, she understands
She smiles at you, you smile right back
You know she is only after one thing, that's a fact
She wants to take you to her penthouse loft
Maybe it's time for a one on one Hoochie Koochie Bop
The dance floor feels so good, so right
You tell her to go, you want to dance all night
A couple more shots of tequila will do the trick
You want to slow down, things are moving too quick
You are flawless on the floor, no one will mock
You are the master of the Hoochie koochie Bop

Don't Speak

I'll watch you
And you don't have a clue
Everything you do
Is making sense to me

I see you now
And wonder how
I missed the real you

We pushed each other so far down.

In just a minute,
I can see everything in your heart,
Really looking in it.
God knows we got off to a bad start.
But where's the finish?

I'm sorry I
Always have to be
The first one to talk
The first one to blame
And everything
Doesn't seem like your fault now.

I'll try not to shame you
This time and maybe
It'll be alright...

Let's just shut our mouths.

What I say is hurting you
And what you say is hurting me
I don't want to see us going through
The same goddamn thing
Everyday...

Maybe the silence will help us out
We probably don't know what we're talking about
Anyways...
So let's just shut our mouths.

My stupid words get in the way
You don't know just
What to say

So let's just shut our mouths...

Rap Music

Rapping music is a crack
In my behind where the wind blows
Country is all I know
Rock makes me want to hit my toes
Easylisten is where my mind lets loose
Rap makes me break wind like a goose
Music is for the soul to relax
After rap my body is like a shaking shack

Skin Your In

Is your Mother Black?
Is your Aunt Black?
What about your Sister or your Grandmother?
What is the color of their skin?
Is it not the same color your in?
So tell me who misinformed you that love is present in a woman opposite of black?
Who told you that?
Does your Mother's broad lips offend you or her head full of naps?
Does your sisters thick body frame repulse you, or her very dark skin?
Brother are you not comfortable in the skin your wearing?
Does your Grandmothers wide nose seem unattractive to you, do you think your grandfather
is a blind old fool?
No Brother, the only fool here is you
I guess it's her pale lifeless skin you are so intrigued by, do you not see her unfriendly
family member's eyes?
Her mother doesn't seem to find your color as beautiful as you find hers
Or are you appealed by her European features?
Her strait nose and thin lips
Are those the lips you love to kiss?
You love her but can't stand your very own Black kin?
What is your problem Brother??
Do you hate the skin your in?

Now How About That

Vibrant swirls, searching a canvass of black
Creating a world of colures,
Taken from a gunnysack…
The mind explores all it observes,
There is no turning back~
Admirations, full of life deserved;
The portrait is complete, all concur,
Now how about that…

Medicate

I woke up this morning
And the pills were by my bed
You say I'm a loser
And I have lost something
(Up the dosage)

Everyone around me
Has a cure for thinking

I resist to simply exist
We all fall and medicate
Syringes are the opposition
Give it to me straight

Our pupils are like students
They dilate but never learn
The pharmacist was slaughtered
And the town was set to burn
(Up the doseage)

Somebody told me
That it is nothing

I resist to simply exist
We all fall and medicate
Syringes are the opposition
Give it to me straight

The bottle can't be filled
The blood runs to your head
Someone writes another pill
And the sky runs red
(Up the doseage)

How is your appetite
For drugs, sex, and the night life?

I resist to simply exist
We all fall and medicate
Syringes are the opposition
Give it to me straight

Seeing this more clearly
And you are in my thoughts
You hand me a prescription
I will show you God
(Up the doseage)

I resist to simply exist
We all fall and medicate
Syringes are the opposition
Give it to me straight

We all fall and medicate
We all fall and medicate
We all fall and medicate

Cruisin' With My Homies On Four Doughnuts

Love is not the answer to every issue out there
There are choices brunettes, blondes or curly hair
So we pile in my car to go check them out
They look at us laugh and shout
I'ts so obvious what's so funny, this really shows it
Cruisin' with my homies on four doughnuts
Three homies and I are burning some gas
I am stressed, I just ran over some glass
The tires stay firm, do not go flat
You can't explain something like that
Big Bertha asks for a ride, but with her weight, the car just won't hold it
She will not be cruisin' with me and the homies on four doughnuts
Stop at the store to get some brews
Out of Colt 45 so the Bulls will have to do
We catch a nice buzz, good enough to make me smile
Fuel will be a concern in a few more miles
After the beer, we combine our pocket change
I payed for the beer and the gas, isn't that strange
Girls can now be our main focus
My tires are from a Ford, Chevy, Dodge and a Lotus
It's always an adventure with me and the homies cruisin' on four doughnuts

Rumors

Rumors are known to cut like knives
Start fights and end lives
All becauce a hater despises
What they've seen through their beedy eyes
Foulness covered by flies
Unknown demise
A demons chest game played with real lives
He said, she said, with a little bit of what you've said
Leaves some one dead
All from words that got in to some body head
Rising situations like to much yeast in a small batch of bread
Scared of the out come so you flee in your mind
Revisit the drama another time
Things don't change
Words still inflecting pain like magic BING! BAM! BANG!
Another rumor rapes a name
Heated like hells flames
Jealousy indures creating a killer like the first murderer Kane
Names lay slain
Slandered by the foulist of mouths
Skeletons pulled from the closet to be placed in piles
Brains began to crowd
Smiles now frowns
Ups now downs
Like tears from a clown
Emotions burst out
People lash out against the innocent
Whom have nothing to do with it
The hater wins again

Blaze of Glory

Return to my head
This wonderful thought
Can now safely shed
This mask that hell brought
To cover up content feelings
That were shrouded in the dark
But now that mask, off, now on the brink
Of making and pronouncing on “comeback remark”

Within a blaze of glory
Comes an instant tale
Of an enchanted story
That will never fail
To tell the truth of being...
That being the clear seeing
That the dark cloud that shrouded love
Has gone away peacefully, like a dove

Comes to this now
The question of “How…”
“How long will this last?”
Will it go back like it was in the past,
Or will there be a new future
That will not be butchered
By the deceptions of jealously and envy
Within that blaze of glory?

OLDSOCKFABLE part two

Later as eye went back to a job that eye could not no longer do there eye was
given the plastic strap to pull against my toe the one near the big one that is
somehow still missing the bowl of serpentine fluid kept against the healing skin
in hopes that it would soon close up again not iodine but the cheeper kind
Across the Universe was found the Aliens are rocking to the sound the musick
played against the stars pulsing round. The Charnak one android seven three

THE GOOD AMONG US

The good among us
will survive us;
the great examples
of warmth and good will...
tomorrow will
inspire others!

Too often we've heard
of meannes, of injustice
and of selfishness;
who's to blame?

Those unjust acts
can't force us to hide
compassion and goodness;
every person who lives and dies
shouldn't suppress them
for the fear of judgment,
because the good among us
is based on love and kindness!

The good among us
is one of the blessings
that God has given us lovingly and freely;
a most precious gift of everlasting beauty!

The good among us
is our guidance...
in a life that can't escape death;
the good among us
is that lighthouse which shines...
when a dark night arrives!

Lost in my life
everything is a myestery
i can not describe
what is happening in history

for life is not pain
going insane
when people have life
then the time perscribes a wife

when world comes to an end
then everything goes stright down the drain
so time is just a bend
for all the soul of the experments of the lain

for everyone trys
and everyone dies
when time just slows down
then i hit the ground

for everwhere i go
i just went really want to show
and things will not pass
as i go now in the grass

Words Of Love

O gee, hate…love…hate…love…hate.
Why do other people have to debate!?

The words of love, we shall now give;
These we have once…twice, received.

It brings peace and light to their spirit;
Of those who are in hungry need, of it.

It gives strength and hope to their life;
Of those who have nothing…but strife.

The words of love, we shall now give;
These we have once…twice, received.

O gee, hate…love…hate…love…hate.
Why do other people have to debate!?

To one of many heroes of blockade of Leningrad.

Dedicated to memory of my mother-in-law,

                          Nina Mihalova

Forgive me, please.

I speak these words too late.

You have been long already in the other world,

And God welcomed you.

But I want to thank you today.

I thank you for your patience and modesty, boldness and kindness,

I thank you for force of your spirit and generosity of your soul.

All this has helped you during terrible 900 days of blockade of Leningrad

to live, give and rescue the life of my most dear person,

your son Vladimir.

He was born on November 6, of 1941,

when Leningrad was surrounded by the German armed forces.

You came back to work a month later after his birth.

You had not enough food or warmth in your apartment,

You worked together with men from morning till the late evening

In a huge foundry. It was very heavy work.

It was too heavy a time for such a small, fragile woman like you.

But you never complained.

Your husband was lost, dying to protect Leningrad from fascists.

You met death around you very often.

But you worked for victory and a life for your son.

Once, when you have taken him from his bed to feed,

a bomb fell right on that place where he had been laid!

You have again rescued him.

You are not present with us already many years.

But I remember your nice smile

And I see your features on the face of my husband

who is the most important person in my life.

I hope you hear me

and I ask your blessing and protection.

Ghetto Rap

This is a life I've gotten used to
Last night someone stole my shoes
My life has been miserable all the way around
It's a stereo with no speakers, which means no sound
Everyone here inherits the same habits
Drugs, teenage pregnancy, it mass produces like rabbits
Once you are born here, you are trapped
There is only one thing you know, it's the ghetto rap
You want some Black Label on ice
Instead a double shot of Jack, so you pay for it twice
There no way to cool your ice tea
Take a look around, no trace of a family tree
The cops know where you live, they need no map
Come on and experience the ghetto rap
From the Barrios to Danny Thomas Blvd
Nothing comes easy here, so you live life hard
All you can do, is try to keep it real
What isn't bolted down, you have to steal
As you enter the stage, your ticket out, no one claps
Until they experience the ghetto rap
There is so much more that could go on
Like that letter you received entitled Dear John
Always go down fighting, the only way to go
Who will be the deliverer and bring the next generation out of the ghetto
The government don't care it's up to you
They bribe the babies having babies with food stamps and a tax payers dollar or
two
They encourage you to continue to eat the bait in the government's trap
It is all part of a conspiracy called the ghetto rap

Much better to lose what I never had

For You All (My Secret Sin)

For those of you whom say
I have to much hate in this heart
I don’t hate you with this guilty fever
But I don’t love you either
I don’t hate you with this guilty fever
But I don’t love you either
And yet they tell me things change
But when you look back on it
It all seems strange
Promised to return as one to the manger
Tiptoeing over cement splits
Trying to avoid danger
Reality just dealt you a stiff blow
When evil is near
Christians feel a drift in flow
This is the humor in life
Without stress being detrimental
There’s a little hate in the center of all of us
Being semi-sentimental
My life is portrayed on a conspicuous display
Go ahead and kiss if you may
Shooting for heaven
No way we can miss if we pray
Then again I’m likely to on this day
I was as peaceful and innocent as an old man
Stroking his beard
Just as his time neared

Tears of my heart
just tearing me apart

deep down inside
is were they hide

when you look
can you see
for they hide
deep down inside

tears of my heart
trying to find away out
just tearing me apart

if they only knew
 they were lost
 they don't have a clue

deep down inside is were they hide

waiting to find someone to care
or have someone else bear

these tears of my heart
do you care

for they are just tearing me apart

My Home Sweet Home

As we pledge our allegiance to the flag
Together in gratitude, let us join in prayer,
For the millions before us who gave their lives
Defending our privilege to breathe Liberty’s air.

Oh say can you see the blessings we share
‘Neath purple mountains and spacious skies?
For our amber waves of grain grow in soil tinted red
By the blood of Patriots who laid down their lives.

My country, ‘tis of thee my heart sings
And upon whom God has shed His Grace.
My country, ‘tis to thee I pray you will always
Sing as one voice for our future children’s sake.

You’re a grand old flag; you’re our Star Spangled Banner
And I salute the virtues o’er which you are wavin’.
You fly proudly as a Beacon of Hope and assurance
For the tired and weak who flee to you for safe haven.

If tomorrow all the things were gone
For which we’ve toiled for over 200 years,
May we one day look into the face of our God
With no regrets for our efforts, blood, sweat and tears.

And, when in the course of human events
It becomes necessary to defend Liberty and Justice for all.
May we hold strong as brothers and sisters under one Father
Or together, we will most certainly fall.

God bless our leaders both here and abroad
May their souls be confirmed in self-control.
And God Bless us all with the wisdom to support the defense
Of Freedom and Democracy for all.

Our Father who art in Heaven,
I’d like to teach the world to sing,
A song that knows no language barriers
A song of love and peace and harmony.

From the mountains, to the prairies,
To the oceans, white foam,
Happy Birthday, dear America,
You are my home, sweet home.

I'VE LOOKED FOR SOMEONE REAL

I've looked for someone real...
who's pretty and has sex appeal;
beside loyalty and caring,
there is also much cheating!

Lots of people still live
in a world of steady fantasy...
they' will never leave...
others take, they don't give;
they hurt constantly,
and they don't forgive anybody!

I've looked for someone real...
who loves and gives to the full;
life's born of hope, too;
it's so wonderful
good friends to run to...
I've looked for someone real!

I've looked for someone real...
who knows how to satisfy
my wildest desire
without a goodbye;
I can't let despair
take away the plans
I've made and still
make for someone real...
my tomorrow would be
so sad and worthless!

I've looked for someone real...
who's pretty and has sex appeal;
besides loyalty and caring,
there is also much cheating!

Follow Me

take my hand and follow me
to a place where all are free
this is not the bitter end
we have found a happy land
come and find the answers to
the questions you've always had
drift into uncertainty
as we fall into the crystal sea
drown our problems in the wine
we will be just great and fine
I have seen the promised land
and it's not so great at all
but we can make our own way
it's not like we have to stay
we can find this perfect place
if we only run away
so follow me, I'll set you free
the time has come to free ourselves of our self

Good Samaritan

As you go
Where God will send
Be a neighbor; be a friend
Don't pass by
On the other side
When you see the hurting ones
Be merciful
And pity them
Who somehow have become victims
Help and love them
As you do yourself
Be like the Good Samaritan

Find the hurt
Pour oil and wine
To cleanse their wounds you bind
Lift and warm
Them in your arms
Let love be their inheritance
Carry them
With gentle prayer
To where they will get more care
At your expense
Follow up on them
Like the Good Samaritan

Bootycyze Me

You've got it going on, you're packin' the heat
in your trunk is a sweet, sweet treat
As you walk on by, the boys break their necks
With your shake, rattle and roll, you've passed my test
Is your mother like you, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree
Give me few moments of your time Bootycyze Me
Let's take a stroll in the park sometime
You walk ahead, I'll walk behind
Tell me profile, give me your 4-1-1
Let's get together, you have the equipment for fun
You have a enough backside, you can share with me
Up close or at a distance, I like what I see
Give me a few moments of your time, Bootycyze Me
You are smokin', so red hot
All the girls ask what she got that I ain't got
A word to the old, a word to the wise
You will know it when you've been Bootycyzed
Cassanova, Prince Charming and Don Juan, I am all three
Give me a few moments of your time, Bootycyze Me

Unconventional God

the One Omnipotent God

does unconventional things

and many out there agree

until they find out that it means

His ways are passed finding out

but if we will simply obey

the world will see what God does

and hear what God has to say

{Bridge}

So who directs God's Spirit to do as they feel

He's the One who leads and guides and goes where He wills

Teaching us as we follow Christ we become unpredictable

Getting to know Him, doing exploits, strong and unconventional

Would you do what Jesus did?

Would you say what Jesus said?

If you could see and hear your Father

Be so unpredictable

Would you do it how He did it?

Would you say it how He said it?

If you could see and hear your Father

Be so unconventional [Chorus]

those full of the Spirit of God

do unconventional things

and many out there agree

until they find out that it means

His thoughts are not their thoughts

His ways are not their ways

and those God directs perform

and speak like Jesus does and says

Working the System

I got my squaw pushing out another papoose
I'm trying to increase my monthly government revenue
There is a sister soon to deliver number three
She is doing it out of greed, fear and love for me
A little redhead I am trying to give me a money maker
A couple of slaps should put her in line and awaken her
The special this month is 75 dollars for 50 in food stamps
The kids can live on water and corn beef hash
I am currently writing letters in the name of my hoes to our state rep
Telling them more revenue must be sent
I laugh as the middle income is paying for all this
They pay for our food, beer and cigarettes
Illegals cross the borders and receive a new life
Today I will find a Mexican honey
No taxes once again on my money
I am using my street wisdom
I will always be working the system
Why should I work when I can get my income from my government hoes
When they beg for money, I tell them that's the way it goes
I tell them to sell themselves to support our children
They better have my money ready when a new month begins
I am now writing a book, that is forbidden
I will tell all how to work the system
If this offends you in one way or another
It's probably true, maybe you are one of my kid's mother

The Invitation

If you had just married a wife
Then were invited to The Banquet
The greatest wedding feast ever to be told
Would you say that you can't go
Or accept the royal invitation
And take with you
The one you now have to hold

Our Heavenly Father requests the honor
Of your presence at the marriage of His Son
To the Bride arrayed in righteousness; blessed are those invited
The wedding banquet is ready; will you come? (Chorus)

If you had just purchased land
Then received The Wedding Invitation
From the King to His palace of gold
Would you go look to His interests
Or ask to be excused
To see the field
In which you had been sold

If you had just gained merchandise
And were invited to The Dinner
To sit with the righteous and the bold
Would you refuse the King's table
Or hurry first at His request
Then let your business
Multiply one hundred fold

(Chorus)

[Bridge]
If you give your regrets or do not respond
You will not receive the garments of fine linen
You will not taste His banquet like the many who are called
Only to the Few will the place of honor be given
And His house shall be filled when they are compelled
From the highways and byways and even from the hedges
From the streets and alleys they're accepted and chosen
For wedding garments and to eat the Bread of Heaven

Untitled #6 / The boy

The boy heard the familiar tune
wafting through the radio at midnight
as he lay alone in his bed, enshrouded
in darkness – “to be a rock and not erode”
cautioned the singer, but the boy
could not help but wonder
who his girl was making love to that night
and he could not help but cry.

Just Me

I'm no poet
I just write what I feel
There is no way you can say my name
for it to be in the hall of fame
everything I write is real.
Whatever I say
You can believe
forget what you heard
I am the only me.
I'm not a movie star or model
i'm just like you
with my own unique style
and people hate me because
they want to walk in my shoes
but what are my shoes to walk in
other than a life of misery and blues.
I don't write to impress
I write to release
the pain and ill emotion
that has grown inside of me.
Its been their so long
I could almost write a song
called "The Pain won't fade away".
I'm just like you
with no perfect life
try my best to keep smiling
such as writing at night
like when I wrote this.
Ideas flowed in and out of my mind not knowing where they came from
never thought of myself as a writer
Actually never liked writing or rhythm
never saw the point.
I'm no poet
I just write what I feel
There's no way you can say my name
for it to be in the hall of fame
I can't help how you see me
I'm just being me...
Just me.

Life and Death

You can remove the girl from the gutter
But you can't remove the gutter from the girl
She will return there when she no longer rocks my world
I make and break many dreams, maybe you will be next
Don't cross me or you will go down in flames like the rest
Last week Judy, this week Jane
Love me or hate me I really don't care or feel I need to explain
But you better fear me or you could become another statistic
I am the law out here in the streets
Cops leave me alone, I supply their doughnuts
A portion of my green helps the homeless
I returned her to the gutter on this sunny day
It will always be my way or the highway
I must have made someone really mad
Enough that I am at the morgue on a cold concrete slab
All my greenbacks somebody's got em'
I guess you could say I've hit my rock bottom

Let Freedom Ring

I Have a dream, his words echoed round the world
that one day every little boy and every little girl
would walk together hand in hand
As brothers and sisters in a colourless land

A dream that one day this proud nation
Would finally eradicate segrigation
that no one will be judged by the colour of their skin
instead on the chracter that lies within

Let freedom Ring from stone mountain in georgia
Ring from the peaks of california
Ring from the land of the pilgrims pride
Ring from every hill and every mountainside

A dream that the state of mississippi
Will one day understand the true equality
and live and work for the greater good
and treat each other like we know we should

A dream that we stand side by side
Hold on to our dignity and cultural pride
and walk together to a positive end
I have a dream today my friend

Let freedom Ring from stone mountain in georgia
Ring from the peaks of california
Ring from the land of the pilgrims pride
Ring from every hill and mountainside

Why? but i felt it on the inside
but it just wanted to hide

Why?did you have to hurt me inside
why did i have to hide

Caught In Between

I leave in my pickup to work in town
Then your men start coming around
I treat you like a queen as you should be
When I arrive home, there is nothing for me
Your arms are cold, your words are mean
Should I stay, should I go, I am caught in between
You say let's works things out please don't leave
I gave you my heart, you give nothing in return, you are a thief
I am sorry, it's time move on
Before this you were already gone
Oh how it hurts to tell you goodbye
Outside I seem tough, but inside I cry
Your arms are cold, your words are so mean
Should I stay, should I go, I am caught in between
Too little too late, I cannot stay
Long ago you pushed me away
Please do not call, do not write
I have been beaten emotionally, I will no longer fight
I will run to live another day
I don't think you care what I do anyway
I have lived in your world of broken dreams
Should I stay, should I go, I am caught in between

Rollin' In My Pacer

My girl dumped me, she couldn't hack it
She said it was her or my fake leather jacket
We were together for 30 days
This jacket has cozied up to six Shaneyneys
Judy is my next target, so now I will have to chase her
I am the Mac Daddy rollin' in my Pacer
Camielle comes along and tempts my fate
Judy is now off the slate
Women need to use more self control
I am too much, I am hard to hold
Tomorrow there will be another one in line
I will not mess with her if she looks like the bride of Frankenstein
My dad is stressed, he's really working his pacemaker
I take him to the hospital, he's riding shotgun in my Pacer
The hospital will keep him over night
I buy some Mad dog 20/20, it's time to get tight
I am called the next day to pick him up
I tell him no ride, if you don't have a lid for that cup
I get pulled over for a sobriety test
The cop tells me I don't look my best
He makes me walk the long straight line
Then count forwards and backwards between 1 and 9
He tells me my car is so ugly, he's got to shoot me with his tazer
After the jolt I am allowed to leave steady rollin' in my Pacer

Life's Lessons

There is no such thing as a victim of society
You are like Heinz 57, a person like you comes in many varieties
You try to be smooth using today's slang
To me, you are an astronaut in space without his Tang
Sometimes people try so hard to fit in
Throw all your money in the pot and end up losing again
Why does it seem to always be the other person's fault
You never seem to comprehend the hard lessons from the streets that are taught
You hide in the corner licking your wounds
This ain't no western, there is no showdown at high noon
You try to turn your life around, but once again your back is against the wall
As the dust clears, it happens again, the hero takes a fall
I don't know what to tell you, so let's end it here
The best philosophy is preached after a few cold Bull beers

More than a Rapper

this is real life
this is late night posted by the street lights
i had to take my life into my own hands, i'm not a child
live my life like a grown man, i take a bow
cause i made it through the trails and tribulations, was trapped
holdin' crack vales, duckin' incarceration, relax
cause i'm smarter than the hardest rapper, he too emotional
i'm like a hood college rapper, you take it personal
i'm asmatic, i gotta addict in the hallway
he said for a gram he'll merk you in the doorway
but don't blame, that's the way the streets raised us
ridin' to church wit a fiend on the same bus
i'm dead broke, got no change for the church cup
a tight suit, old shoes and they blame us
so how they figure that the drugs won't 'gon change us
when daddy drank all the money that they gave us
my uncle stealing out the house like he hate us
he buyin' crack but police wanna cage us
i'll get it back when i cop me some powder
cook it up, then i hop in the shower
bag it up, now the block is my power
$20 for a half a gram
i done the work, cop some groceries to feed my fam
i know it hurts when your mamma gotta be the man
i'm from the dirty, i'm much more than a rapper man

I Think The Storm's Gonna Come

Listen to the wind outside,
it’s blowing so hard,
I think the storm’s gonna come.

Look at the clouds,
they’re becoming too dark,
I think the storm’s gonna come.

Then comes the rain
sweeping at the window pane,
see the trees dancing swiftly
throughout the day.

Soldiers are getting ready
for the big day,
it’s the month of May.

I hear explosions
while sitting near the door
far from my home.

I hear some footsteps
running by the doorstep,
I can’t find the time to sleep.

I see a fellow
lying in a ditch too shallow,
he will never see tomorrow
and I can feel my sorrow.

A storm is raging,
there’s a lot of mourning,
I can’t understand the meaning.

Listen to the wind outside,
it’s blowing so hard,
I think the storm’s gonna come.

Learn Somethin'

come here little girl, let me learn you a thing or two
livin' in the hood is a very hard thing to do
you gotta know the rules, how to move, never have a clue
never let'em know how you move, keep it true
true to yourself, to your square, where you at girl
respect yourself in any hood, hood respect girl
kept a lot of girls from geetin' raped where i'm at girl
when the devil play, it's no game, he attack girl
one girl mad cause her man want your phone number
you so bad every man wanna talk to you
chicks get jealous so they plottin' on your every move
what should you do? you by yourself and without a crew
rule number 2 keep some mase or some pepper spray
rule number 1 is keep a gun but she played it safe
she massed her in the face and showed her what suppose to taste like
the girl pulled out a knife and cut her stomach by the waistline
know she on the floor cryin' with the evidence
but what she didn't know was that the pretty girl was preganat
learn somethin', learn somethin', listen little girl let me learn you a thing or two
learn somethin', learn somethin', livin' in the hood is very hard thing to do

My World

Can't break these walls between us
Separated by so many pieces
Falling, shattered I watch you pass by
Never again am I a part of that world
That world that makes so many people cry

'Cause this is my world
I stand away from the rest
Black amongst white
Watch me darken your light
But in my world truth isn't made of lies
'Cause in my world it's just me by my side

Force yourself to look away
My soul is ugly to your faith
Living under your oath while breaking a thousand promises
In this world I'm segregated to the end
So separated, but maybe that's just our trend

But this is my world
Here you don't belong
'Cause in your world
I can never come along
Black amongst white, watch me darken your light
But my truth isn't made of lies
'Cause in my world it's just me by my side

I see you all walking
Walking your paths to nowhere
Don't even know where you're going
But it's at me that you stare
So tear your dirty eyes away from me
You've got nothing to look at here
Keep walking your paths to nowhere
Keep going, even when they've stripped you bare

And this is my world
Where one stands away from the rest
'Cause in my world
There's no such thing as the best
It's just me and myself
Looking in while you look out
Breaking hearts while it's our own we try to mend
But in both our worlds
The suffering never ends.

THREE KIDS AND A MOTHER

Three kids and a mother
are reunited after
years of separation,
and who couldn't imagine
the incredible joy
they'll give one another:
to feel the tenderness
they had missed desperately;
and who wouldn't agree
that they deserve recognition?

Three kids and a mother
hugging, kissing and crying out of joy...
a joy that was denied by society;
how could anyone understand
their sacrifice and long-suffering,
if undying love had not been there?

My thanks go to the merciful Lord
who heard the supplication
in my desperate voice;
my sad eyes,once so teary,
are joyful and thankful
to Him who's truthful to His word...
a might word that makes liars tremble;
If evil and untruth were allowed
to harm and cause destruction,
where would justice stand today?

Colors

Some people look at the world and say, they only see black and white,
But I couldn’t say that honestly, not even with all my might.
When I see the world, I see brown, orange, and cream,
I see colors from the lightest to the darkest and everything in between.
When I look at the world, I see hurting of inisent people,
Doesn’t matter what their first or last names are, whether it’s Johnson, or Trepal.
Because see, they’re still hurting and being judged because of their colors,
But to me, they’re still all my sisters & brothers.
So when someone acts me, when I look at the world, what do I see?
I say I see hurting people, all different colors, just like me
