Sometimes

Sometimes I am happy, sometimes I am sad.
Sometime I sing, sometimes I stammer

Sometimes I dance on the music of my soul, Sometimes I dance on the fingers of
one single person
Sometimes I expect so much from others; sometime I myself can’t meet my own
expectations.

Sometime I make fun of others and feel bad later, sometimes life makes fun of me
and I smile
Sometime I win and sometimes I lose, sometimes I don’t even understand whether I
won or lost.

Sometimes I laugh as if whole world is with me,
Sometimes I cry as if I am alone wandering in a strange land

Sometimes I give up so easily
Sometimes I work so hard that no one can stop me to achieve what I want

Sometimes I am dynamic person, who wants to change the world,
And sometimes I am a kid who expects anyone to embrace him tightly.

Sometimes I feel happy about the achievement of my enemy
Sometime I feel dejected with my own success.

Sometimes I help others and show them the right path
Sometimes I feel totally helpless and don’t know where to go

Sometimes I ask god to please give my past back
Sometimes I pray to show me the way forward

Life is composed of SOMETIMES and I just flow with that.
U admit or not but you are also sailing on the same boat.
So join me and enjoy it EVERYTIME as SOMETIMES life is very short!

Alone but not lonely

I hide in the corner behind a cloud of smoke
Then find myself laughing at a strangers joke
For i seemed to have developed a hobby you see
Quietly sitting back watching people be

I don't want to meet them or learn there name
I just sit back and observe like some kind of game
Regardless of how nice they may seem
To meet them would be disappointing and obscene

For good manners are no more
Just look and shopping malls it's like a guerrilla war
Although i do get some joy from strangers action
Like a child eating an ice-cream with gleeful satisfaction

But still i have no need to talk
I'm more than happy to sit and gawk

Tall people, Short people, fat ladies snorting
And my favorite awkward young lovers courting
Its a quiet existence this life of mine
To be perfectly honest it suits me fine

I'm alone but not lonely
For my house is quiet homely
And as long as i have my stranger friends
I will live like this happy to my end.

Ding Dong The Wicked Witch is Dead

Globally, miners jubilantly jump for joy
Smiles on the faces of every girl and boy
The grins of a newly opened Xmas toy
Thatcher’s dead.

Trade unionists bounce along the street
Music blaring and the tapping of feet
From nurses to Bobbies still on the beat
Thatcher’s dead.

Street parties announced in the nation
Satan who brought economic inflation
Is deceased, now’s the time for elation
Thatcher’s dead.

Its times like this I’m sad I’m an atheist
And can only shout and wave my fist
And then go to the pub and get pissed
Thatcher’s dead.

Thank you

Thank you – Zamreen Zarook

Thank you is a sweet word in the nature,
You may be a guy of adventure,
May be you are a person of agriculture,
What matters is your architecture.

Never forget the people, who guided you,
In no degree neglect who were with you,
Don’t ever overlook a creature, who gave a smile to you,
Because, you will meet them above you.

People forget the past due to selfishness,
They have no time to remember their unawareness,
Society, most of the times behave in awfulness,
They will understand when their lives come in to bitterness.

Be a person to thank and remember,
Don’t consider them as December,
Because, you might need them in November,
So, always be as a good subscriber.

My Words

Sometimes my poetry is just a case of words,
and not necessarily my reality;
and that’s what is so beautiful about writing

You can be who you want to be on any level
and tell secrets about fantasies that may never be;
or take trips to other dimensions on mental journeys, or places that some don’t even think exist

They mimic thoughts that manifest themselves as poetry
and rest on pages patiently waiting to adhere
My words are a reflection of my heart
and they reveal the truth behind my mask of fear
they deliver reality doses whether they are just cases,
or me in the absolute right here

My words exude positive intentions;
my imperfections apparent but I accepted rejections
and reversed dejection
and decided to bare all my fantasies, my flaws my very soul
and temptations

Uncertain how voiced verses appeal to outside sources but internally they set me free
They provide a medium of light and creativity
A chance to apply knowledge and a time for reflecting on and making changes in my frequency
My words are attached to my soul and its overwhelming ability to just be
They reflect what I was before
the choices I’ve made and the reasons that this life is perfect
according to divine order

They represent the voices of my ancestors from the beginning of time
because up until now,
the ending wasn’t within reach so I make sure that I
carefully choose the format and the right place and time
to deliver the message that may be blatant or hidden inside –
of the abstract placements of verbs
giving praise to the source of power that calmly submits to the voice
connected to my words
I am the originator of my own words
I hope that you are inspired, or simply entertained
by the process by which I've placed my words

Puzzle Piece

A puzzle piece you are to me
Like a vine without any leaves.
Your heart is pure your soul is
Gold, the sweetest thing I'll
ever hold! A miracle in my eyes
it seemed, knowing they said
no babies for me! Always a
surprise you seem to be just
like a puzzle piece! At 9 months
you walked but not until 4 did
you first talk! Always a terror
making a beautiful mess always
a surprise that has yet to be
met! The twists and turns I
know we will see will seem
somewhat like a roller coaster
to me! The milestones and
special gifts you bring will make
my life seem Like a dream, my
special boy I have always said
How special I knew not till
Aspergers they said! The
journey will be trying the
journey will seem long! But
with our family together we will
chug along! My special boy I
love you so and cannot wait to
see you mature and grow! Now
we have a goal we have our
dream you see to make you the
perfect fitting puzzle piece!!

Healing Words

My mother, my grandmother before has always held a place in my heart.
My father, and my grandfather before has the same part.
I was young and very active with unwillingness to listen fully to what they had to say.
I had a problem, never could be solved without my parents and grandparents till today.
With patience they all come to my aid when I fall on my face.
With little dishonor I listen to them and what they had to say, I embrace.
Over the years I go to them with no doubt a feeling of no dismay.
Over the years I go to them and they help me solve problems that to me is O.K.
Now I am getting a bit more aware of what had happen to me when I was growing.
Now I remember how the ride was in my beginning: it was a trial of not knowing.
With the guided words of my parents and grandparents I survive through them all.
With it some being a problem that I remember I recall.
My mother and my grandmother always said to be patient and it will be easy to solve.
My father and my grandfather always knew that I would grow and evolve.
I could wonder everyday what if my parents and grandparents was not in my life.
I could just think that would be fatal like a stab with a knife.
With knowledge that they had past on to me of what they had experience.
With their proof of teachings they had past on to me is their self existence.
Over the years I grew with life so full of happiness that was because of my families love.
Over the years it showed me the path that led me to all the above.
Now cherish those words that help me through my troubles in my new family.
Now I listen to my parents healing words of wisdom and except them gladly.

ONCE AGAIN THANK YOU

I was just trying to remember the past
trying to remember the good people
 and the bad people,
that i came across on my way,

i want you to know
that you are among the good people
that left a good trace in my life,

once again i just want to say thank you
for passing through my life,
is so short but is wonderful
i want you here forever.

Star Trek Rules

Star Trek Rules!

It was time for: Comic Con! Comic Con! Dragon wanted to come, too!
But then so did everyone else at Troll Lake… Hey, now, wouldn’t you?
We made some really cool costumes… for the costume show, my Dear.
You can guess, ‘Star Trek Rules!’ It couldn’t be anything less, you hear.

Our favorite nighttime popcorn show, would truly now, become a part of our lives!
The penguins got permission from the zoo; to go… great publicity, so very wise.
McRacoon had his Las Vegas Dragons get us, and a mock saucer, there, all on time.
Naturally pre-registered and in costume, we strutted in! Hi there! Began the playtime!

Man we were really cool, as the guest actors ask for OUR autographs. For Real!
Pictures were snapped, and a poster made, to be signed by everyone, so cheerful.
It’s highest bid, given to charity, would be a nice touch, for everyone in our crew.
The costume show was set outside, where all the dragons, could fly in, or out, too.

And a small mock, star ship was landed on stage, so we could enter with more flare.
Lord a mercy! Look at us! We’d never be like this, again! We were like stars, I swear!
Grandpa Troll, became Mr. Spock, naturally, because he was so, very clever and wise.
Our neighbor witch, was Uhura, due to her great ability to, protect everyone’s’ lives.

Borp the Frog became Sulu, so he could take us up to Borp speed, with laser effects!
Hubby was Scotty, with the Tinker Trolls in engineering, for special effects, so perfect!
The penguins were the beloved crewmembers, running with lasers, all over the place.
The powder puff tribbles, got wet, so yes, became the ‘Trouble with Dribbles’, in space.

The Mary River Turtles wanted to be Checkov. What a groovy, exciting, security team.
Dragon wanted to be Captain Kirk, you know, like totally, in command… At the scene!
All agreed, I’d be a great Dr. McCoy, since I always get to, kiss the Boo- Boo’s away.
The Weird Frogs were the Aliens, chasing everyone mindlessly, around, the set, that day.

And the Las Vegas Dragons, became attacking star ships, over which our lasers won!
The crowds went wild, and we won first place in their hearts, as well as, in their minds!
Everyone had, such a good time, so the Trek continued, well after, when we got home.
That year Comic Con made the National news, and of course, nobody, was surprised!

As the residents of Troll Lake and Acorn Falls… continue to Trek on… every day!

Right Now

In the exact moment that I am right now
I stand in a sea of vulnerability;
susceptible to the effects of causes around me
and since I am fully aware,
I own my surroundings
I am one with sounds and vibrations
resonating from the earth;
I am that pulse of the drum beat
thats been thrashing
inside me since birth

Right now, I am exactly as I am
deeply flawed and misjudged
used, victimized and persecuted
Right now I am you in the absolute

Right now, I am exactly as I am
balanced, whole and complete
attracting abundance and certainty
Right now I am peace - still you

Right now, I am exactly as I am
You

I Am Who I Am

Its bad enough that everyday I walk down memory lane, &&' It really puts me in alot of pain. I've been doing the best that I can, but I am who I am. I'm getting tired of everyones exspectations, people always pulling me in different directions. Even when I'm falling down, people still push me on the ground. I'm gonna keep trying, no more lying. No more games, done mentioning names. Being two-faced isn't cool, it just makes you look like a fool. I'm never looking back, that life was wack. I'm done trying to make everyone happy, when they treat me so crappy. I may not have alot of friends, in the end, but atleast I don't have to pretend. I'm gonna be true, with or without you. You'll see, I'm done letting people get to me.

Zoo - Just to Amuse You

One fine day, I planned a visit to zoo
Alone landed amidst the fauna left so few
Treaded merrily on greenery, singing my heart out
Whilst a lion’s scary roar made me shout

‘Ah! Another visitor’, said the lion annoyingly
‘Why should we entertain you?’ said he fumingly
‘What’s the point in wasting your energy and mine?
Making us do the funny acts, do they seem so divine?’

Hearing those words I dared
Reduced the distance, still scared
Said I, ‘Stop fuming King of Jungle, watch out for your age,
Hadn’t I come to visit you, wouldn’t you be bored in your cage?’

‘The answer dwells in your question, silly girl
You humans have no heart of pearls,
The so-called king of jungle imprisoned in cage
Heartthrob of millions I was, at my early age’

‘To meet my family, hope it doesn’t get too late
I need to eagerly meet ‘em all, my cubs, my mate
I still feel them, they are waiting for me
Oh girl! Be kind enough to set me free.’

I couldn’t have done that with all my might
Turned my way, delighted by a peacock’s sight
The multihued beauty was sheltered in a metallic cage
Awe! Gloomy this beauty looked, in distress and rage

‘What is wrong? Do you want to fly?’
It turned around and looked straight at the sky
‘Show me those vibrant feathers, the fan-like crest
Guests would adore seeing you dance at your best’

‘I dance just for my love, my love for rain,
Cool breeze no more likes crossing my lane
Why do I open my feathers without my mate’s presence?
Just to amuse you, I shall do; confined in this fence’

Dumbstruck, I decided to turn my way
Walked ahead in quest of animals happy and gay
There it was! A crazy monkey, flirting and making its choice
Mimicking others and playing around, hear its evil noise

Bouncing, bouncing and dancing, dancing
It ruled as if dungeon’s dominant king
Wow! You look so happy; what’s the reason?
‘Girl! No more fun for you, ‘coz free I’ll be from this prison’.

Two giant men came forward and opened the door
Good Lord! It’ll be free, unkind humans is just animal’s lore!
Monkey screeched, ‘Meet me soon in the nearby forest
Where I meet my pals, play, eat, have fun and rest’

Happy to see the monkey’s joy, I walked ahead
Across the bushes, saw a van, a huge van in red
Giant men carried animals and dumped in the van
Shocked I was to see the sight and reckoned their plan

Why was my monkey friend inside, for what purpose?
It was clear as I read the van’s name, ‘The Great Royal Circus!’

Survivor

Peaceful, and Silent is the world as gentle wind
Flows through my hair

A turning ice cream cone appears in the distance sky
Rumbling, I run for miles and miles
Faster and faster, finally
Allowing the wind to grab out at me
And
 Wrap its self around me

Devoured by the ice cream cone
Walls of black covered the wonders of hope
I tried to get a grip of the last bit of light

Love, determination, and the
Urge to survive,
Powered me to follow my dreams and
Get hold of that last bit of light

I’ve waited my whole life
The new me as arrived
Afraid of nothing and ready to face
The harsh world
Once again

A survivor lives

The halo effect

If there is one thing I remember
It is what life told
Just open your eyes
All that glisters may not be gold
So who is to blame and whose fault I hold
The halo effect, the one in disguise
Manifesting deception in front of thy eyes
Treat one different because of their look
Why read? Judge the cover of the book?
But you do read others because they don’t have the look
If you understand, how long has it took?
The halo effect, we magnify a trait
Condone the flaws, we magnify a trait
Attractiveness, is this what you mean?
All this talk, my perception a feign?
What I see, aint what it seem?
Huh, thanks for this, as well as that.
The halo effect, my mind was hacked.

The Ugliness Of Divorce

My parents taught me the Christian ways.
I was taught to obey what the Bible says.

I was proud of my parents! I really was!
And loved them so much… Just because!

They meant everything to me! I was proud!
Until one day... There appeared “a dark cloud.”

It was like a “darkness” hovered above.
Leaving their marriage empty of needed love!

Though they were together many years.
There were many cracks that soon appeared.

I say a once happy home soon destroyed.
Being with one another…. They no longer enjoyed!

How could this happen! I had wondered…
To see a happy marriage “totally plundered

As sin crept in... And allowed to prevail.
Very soon this marriage simply failed.

May this be a warning for me and you…
That our commitment remains faithful and true!

If your marriage is heading toward separation…
Please seek God for a healing and restoration!

If your planning to have a divorce..
Jesus’ love can put it on the right course!

He can replace the brokenness and hurt within..
And can put your lives back together AGAIN!

The bluesman

The bluesman.

The bluesman
He’s up there, he’s a star
As he clutches in his hands
A battered old guitar
The bluesman knows his own damned worth
He does it in his style
And folk they come from miles around
And have done for a while

The bluesman plucks those strings
And wails his old blues harp
Then comes in with his rusty voice
Maybe he’s flat or sharp
But no one ever notices
They’re caught within his spell
When that bluesman does he’s stuff
Then in his world they dwell

With the bluesman
You get just what you see
He’s not out to impress you, man
He’s busy being He
And when he plays, he’s ‘It’ my friends
He pulls you into him
The bluesman can you hear him now?
When all the lights are dim.

Consumption

Consumption

Scurrying between gleaming malls,
sniffing through the latest bargains,
that are crucified onto sterile walls,

crawling amidst those sanitised aisles,
glazed eyes darting frenetically, hungry,
leaving not a trace on the polished tiles,

gnawing at the endless, dead queues,
shirts, skirts, jeans into trolleys flung,
then straight to the closet to be hung,

pompous odours foul each aroused breath,
scraping, bowing before these mute deities,
an intoxicated swirly haze of lustful gaieties,

it never ceases, this relentless, frantic surge,
always unable to quench the insatiable urge,

stopping briefly, only for an occasional purge,

as we continue, & continue , to numbly splurge

I like your love

I like your love
It's pure, it's innocent
and I don't think I've seen this before

You replenish my reserves before it's necessary
you lift my wings up and
make me superior to my adversary
Creatively providing the exact amount of
what I need to go another day
I like your love
and for as long as you'll have me I'll stay

You make me comfortable in my space
What she share cannot be replaced
with any other type of love
be it artificial or tainted or lustfully blatant
Those illusions don't exist because
we found this love and we claimed it

I cherish those nights when I scratch your head
When you sit between my thighs and I twist your dreads
We become an us that is so pure
that the spring waters question the purity of it's source
I like your love - it's a divine force

Details | Verse | |

We'll be

We'll be forever building gold mines
from scrap metal and taking
recycled energy to cosmic levels
through third eye

We'll go un-noticed until the heavens turn
or if our chakras are not aligned
constantly diverting negative thoughts
through our meditative lights

We'll build a sandcastle from determination
and live life on the edge,
fulfilling divine order and witnessing creation,
living in the now and staying ahead

We'll tip the earth off it's axis
and trick subconscious mind states into submission
You can catch us in the wind transcending counter reactions
Bi-passing illusions of circumstances

We'll have an abundance of the maximum
Enough love energy for all who attract our path
We'll be the ones in the light
asking for nothing in return but peace
at last

Beer

This is the best beer I've ever had.
Yes, The best beer I've ever had.
No beer is really bad, but
This is the best beer I’ve ever had.

Beer’s invention was accidental I’m told.
Something about stored grain and mold.
Before the Sphinx, beer was made and sold;
And at times, more valuable than gold.

Drank my first beer while serving Uncle Sam.
Got drunk on ‘33' in Saigon, Vietnam.
By 19, I was a soldier becoming a man;
So, I drank ‘til I didn’t give a damn.

Since then, I’ve travelled the world all around;
And tasted each brew that I’ve found.
Most are named for people, animals or towns;
And are glorious shades of gold, red or brown.

There are pilsners, lagers and ales
Swilled from bottles, cans, mugs…even pails.
If you want to get drunk, you can’t fail.
Drink too much, you may end up in jail.

Drank Stegmaier in old Scranton town.
Folks bragged it was the "best around“.
I tried their Golden, their Porter, their Brown;
And I must say, their judgement is sound.

In Ireland, the Guinness is Stout.
‘Tis a brew those Micks can’t live without.
In the pubs, they all sing and shout;
Until, eventually, they're all drunken louts.

In old Germany, there are too many to choose.
Every Berg and Stein make their own brews.
I tried each one on the Rhine river cruise.
So many to taste. How could I lose?

I enjoyed Sapporo in Tokyo, Japan;
Served by a Geisha at the wave of my hand.
The Singh Hai in Bangkok was grand,
As was the Ninkasi in ancient Tehran.

Tried a lager called Foster’s down under.
Drank too many. My head pounded like thunder.
They say Foster's once laid Dundee asunder;
But they love it… though you may wonder.

Enjoyed Red Stripe on Jamaican shores
And each one tasted like more.
A local beauty I was hoping to score;
But next morning, my head was so sore.

Henry Hudson’s serves Budweiser Light.
It’s weak, so you can drink it all night.
Yes, it takes quite a bit to get “tight”;
But it’s cheap and that makes it alright.

Yes, beer is a beverage so grand,
One of God's greatest gifts to man.
When life gets too tough to stand,
Just open a chilled bottle or can.

This is the best beer I’ve ever had.
When I arrived I was down and quite sad;
After just two or three, life isn't so bad.
This is the best beer I’ve ever had.

Yes, the best beer I've ever had.

Love it

I love it when you're kissing me
I love it when your hands touch my thighs
Passion slowly increasing
breathing deeper
Gaining momentum for the moment
that draws nearer
Now you're whisperin in my ear
Temperature's rising
moaning, grinding
my body to the rhythm of each
breath
Enjoying kisses with your tongue on
my neck
While creating secrets between us
that manifest
into beautiful stories of lust and
fantasy
Unafraid to confess
Rivers flow
The scent of the pheremones
The beat that the song's on
Tuned in to your passion
I’m feeling it’s time to make this happen
Finally releasing fear and stress
through pure emotion and love
Freedom from hurt and distress
I love it when you’re kissing me
I love it when your hands touch my thighs...

Feel The Love

Diving deep, into the void, within
Washing, cleansing, myself clean
Trusting without expectation
Letting go of, what I am familiar with
Allowing the divine, infinite spirit to guide me
Teaching me how to live
Growing inside my heart and mind
Larger than my mind’s ego
As I consciously shed light, upon my self created burdens
Lighting up, my made up fears, my mind has believed, all these years
All the mistakes I have made, now become my greatest blessings
Showing me how to love, without attachment
Discovering, who I truly am

Le Vacance Pretentieuse: Darts

Drops of sweat slip from my furrowed brow
Eyes squint, select a number and let fly now

Miss again, a millimetre is a mile once more
Aimed for triple twenty, only got double four

The walk of shame, my oh so familiar friend
Silence broken, on alcohol I forever depend

The steel point of eyes bore into my neck
My opponent leaves me a juddering wreck

I lose the match; the wife won’t give me a kiss
I wish I could have been anything else than this...

I Stand, Alone

I stand, alone.

Scratching for my truths,
peeling away the veneer,

I stand, alone, before this
impregnable cliff so sheer.

Cocooned in my solitary shell,
wrenching a smile from a tear,

I stand, alone, a little odd,
and definitely quite queer.

I stand, alone.

Tremble like that
Icy Floors
With Classmate

There fall flakes
and I fetch them
Whatever takes
I may catch them

So come on everyone
Freeze your blood
To this wintry one
And Snowflake ton

Kindness is a Virtue

Who are and who is my friends or acquaintances, confusing everyday
but today I have found my self to walk a path that is not so rough
I became so blinded to have friends that it pains me anyway
They take a simple kindness and think that I am not tough
so by deliberately challenging me to act like nothing happens I grow bold
Wake up you! and all the rest, I have something to say
I don't like this feeling of regret or sorrow so please do not take me cold
as a friend you should know to not take advantage of my kindness in away
A storm is blowing inside my soul burning a hole in it so
lightning is striking in methods unknown for in the distance thunder you hear
Some of the greatest warriors fall with great weapons of bow
antics that slaughters such feebleness as cowardices use an unseen spear
To let one know that your feelings are clear do not hesitate
to do so shows fear and that is one thing that can determine your choice
With kindness in your corner you should easily win and that will be great!
In the end you can hold up a drink with friends and smile and rejoice

Oh Yohanes

Oh Yohannes
I must be honest
I’ve got a jones for you
And when I saw you,
I remember the sun reflecting
rays of light on your skin
so bronze, so peaceful, so simple

I wanted to tell you all my secret
desires and temptations
and kiss you and hold you close
and when I realized I was dreaming
and that this feeling was a hoax
I began to be led astray
by sexual desires and thoughts of foul play

but in the meantime
I have fun with the fantasy of imagining you beside me
I stay up countless nights thinking
about how we could defy gravity
and how we could somehow reverse all the laws of sanity
and just do something crazy
I can’t make it stop
I must be crazy

And when my eyes closed...
I wanted to fall in your arms and tell you about all the fantasies that were created in honor of you

And tell you how your eyes seem to remind me that it’s okay to be beautiful

Oh Yohannes
I must be honest
Your deeply rooted stare
will long remain a part of my fire
and my insanely human desire to make love

The Shadow I hide behind

It may seem like I am always bright and cheery
but there are times when I am sad and weary.

I don't always let that show as I hide behind a closed and locked door
and rather keep things as happy go - Lucky
It is the way I deal with life instead of staying down to sit
there with a frown I get up and turn it all around with a smile, and
it can change my mood for a good long while.

Then eventually I may sit and cry but soon I get up and smile again
as there is more to life than the hurt and stife, I like to bring a smile
to others as that keeps my sprits up and I can keep a happy outlook
on each new day that we live and always help to give a smile
to someone's face that brings us joy and is full of grace.

In this case I may not always be bright and cheery but I never
show when I am sad and weary.

Humble

I give my word a breath of life
and those who give me strife
I willingly do what needs to be done
and do not wish to be won
I smile a smile that lights up any face
and hope to never disgrace
I do what I am taught to do
and that my help would be true
I clam my words together
and hope times will never weather
I do have some faith in all matters
and things to reach with ladders
I hope for many things in heart
and I cherish everyone that is part
I do know one thing is set
and with my life I would bet
I will hold true to my words
and make my world good towards

I Love God Very Much

I’m going to tell God
how much I love him!
I’m happy to be able
to tell him!

I’m going to stop
and pray…
There’s so many things
 I want to say!

I know that God
will help me!
He’s my friend!
And is always with me!

I’m going to read
his word too!
It gives me direction,
as to what I should do!

Please God…
Reach down and touch me!
And put your loving arms,
all around me!

God gave me salvation!
I sure needed it!
All that I need… He’s already
completed it!

What His World Can Never Give

What This World Can Never Give…

What this world can never give,
 is life eternal!
Jesus can guarantee your name,
 in heaven’s journal!

The world can never bring to you,
what Christ can give!
Jesus will never fail you,
and can give a reason to live!

This world can promise you a whole
 “field of dreams.”
But can never give the joy and peace
 that only Jesus brings!

The world shall one day
 be totally destroyed within!
Only Christ can help you!
And will always be your friend!

Heaven and earth shall one day pass!
 God’s word is forever!
Christ loves you so much!
You can be with him, together!

Won’t you follow Jesus?
And leave this world behind you?
Allow his Holy Spirit and love,
 to totally surround you!

Take this world! But give me Jesus!
 Is this your plea?
Won’t you make plans to be with him,
 for all eternity?

She

A sweetly-scented, earthy rain-storm,
she came to me,

thunderously raging with raw emotion,
she came to me,

drenched in the essence of truth,
she came to me,

she touched a chord deep inside,
she strummed away all emptiness,

she came to me,

once...

she comes to me,

still...

a gentle presence filling my life,

she comes to me,

still,

a healing spirit soothing all inner strife.

Thank You Lord for Helping Me

Thank you Lord, for helping me to see… I need much more of you and less of me! Thank you lord, for helping me to understand... You are faithful! And won’t let go of my hand! Thank you lord, for being close by my side! You’re with me! And pushed my enemies aside! Thank you Lord, for being there to help me! It’s all because of how much you love me! Thank you lord, for answering my prayer! You’re someone who always listens and cares! Thank you Lord, for your many blessings! Your gift of love, I don’t want to be missing! Thank you lord, for what you’re going to do! I want everyone to know, how I appreciate you! Thank you lord, for eternal life you’ve given! My sins are gone! I’ve been forgiven! With YOU in my life, what more can I say? You’ve given me hope and brightened my day! By Jim Pemberton

Life In Cyprus

Life in Cyprus,
Idyllic I would suggest,
For each day is filled with
Everything we hold dear.

Inspired by good friends,
Nice people we meet

Coming from all different places,
Youngsters, to our delight are
Pleased to sit and chat with us in the
Relaxed atmosphere of the Taverna at night
Under the soft light of a
Star studded sky.

This is my Cyprus.

A Town Made Of Happy

When you’re feeling low and don’t know where to go.
I know a place where love just grows and grows and grows.
A place called Sappy Mountain in the town of Get And Go.
Troubles there just melt away like the morning snow.
Smiling faces greet you with the morning light.
Happy songs are all they play morning noon and night.
They have a sign outside their town.
This town they say was built by clowns.
There are funny looking cars of every size and shape.
Houses painted candy colors make up this great escape.
It truly takes your breath away, it’s such an awesome place.
A smile is all you ever see it’s painted on their face.
Of all the cities in the world this one takes the cake.
It’s full of love and happiness and none of it is fake.
So if you’re ever down our way won’t you come on in.
I’m sure you’ll love the stay at our Magic Inn.
Only happy people reside there, come but leave your care.
No money here will be found only love that people share.
Two hugs and a handshake is the price you pay here for a meal.
And with the tip it still adds up to quite an awesome deal.
Come on down and bring a friend.
For Happy is the way of life it’s not some passing trend.

God Knew Me Before I Was Born

God Knew Me Before I Was Born! God knew me, before I existed! He was there, before my name was listed! Before I was born, he had a divine plan! He was there, before I reached out my hand! Before I knew who I even was, or my name… His life for mine, way why his son came! Before I could put on my shoes and clothes… He had called me! It was I… That he chose! Before I was old enough to make up my own mind… He was there waiting! So patient and kind! Before I became an adult… I refused to believe! Whatever God offered... I didn’t want to receive! Before too long… I had my own family and home. But then family left me... And I was alone! Before God… I came, and cried and repented! The inside of my mind felt confused and tormented! Before I really knew what was actually going on… God reached inside and forgave me of past wrongs! Before the next day was coming about… I found a new love and peace throughout! Before God, I know that he’s changed me! I have found a new life for eternity! Won’t you come before God and accept him too? You’ll never know what he can do for YOU! By Jim Pemberton

Hope

Holy books says it all
You taught me how to crawl
This will never change
Never ends never fades
Dear God where you are?
Shattered piece of childish dreams
This will never change
Never ends never fades.

I can fight for all my life,
Not broken, not broken inside
Never be so frustrated,
Not going to commit suicide.

Fuc*ing faith will fall,
Mortals will stand tall
Hell and heaven are all the same
Live your life, don't die in vain

Only you and I can make
A better world for tomorrow
Have faith in yourself
And wipe off the tears of sorrow

Make me scream, Make me cry
I'll never fail to try.
This night's has an end
No pain will remain

A Hollow Shell

a hollow shell
of tangled synapses
sparked into gradual madness
which drowns out the truths of the day
as the mind reeks of the rotten sad moments
that swirl in the rancid soup of forgotten dreams
dreams that once traced a gentle path of innocence
dreams that reached for pure love’s tender touch
dreams now paralysed but once vivaciously alive
what became of those fresh dreams and hopes
as they lie mustily on dusty bookshelves
torn into shreds by time’s fine scimitar
devoid of the touch of raw passion
when all that remains of love is
a hollow shell

Cherish What You Have

all of the people in this world have the problem of not knowing what they have until it's gone.
The few people that understand this and have not made the mistake have lived happy
lives. Is's hard for someone to understand their emotions and what they feel and it is the
downfall of many. when you have someone you love and that makes you happy don't screw
it up by cheating or changing the way you act because the way you act is the reason the
person likes you in the first place. You need to cherish what you have because it can kill you
in the end. If your going out with someone you really like say it to them some of the time.
Tell them that you care about them. Show them that they are the only one for you.Don't be
a moron and get jealous if she hangs out with her other friends some of the time just be
there for them. If you have something good cherish it as if it were a gift not a right because
it can be taken away in a heart beat. Love is one thing in this world that has the power to
wound deeply and it cant be taken back. You need to be careful and enjoy what you have
and make damn sure you don't hurt the person there is no excuse to cheat, lie, or break up
with someone just because you want to go out with someone else have a very damn good
reason for it. Don't break up with them in a note or a text tell them to their face and explain
to them why. when you break up with them you need to be nice and don't be a total b&tch to
them. Like I said love can wound in places that cant heal so when you do find someone
cherish them like a golden treasure sent from heaven.

Has Jesus Changed Or Is It Us

Has Jesus Changed? Or Is It Us? I often hear of the “newest fashion.” Perhaps I’m one that’s “old fashioned?” Even at church, there’s a push for “contemporary.” Throughout the building, and the sanctuary. I suppose many want to keep up with “the times.” It’s the way of reaching the hearts and minds. I wonder; “has Jesus changed?” “Or is it we?” “Are we walking in Christ?” “Are we truly free?” I’m not going to worry about keeping up with the rest… I’m giving my life to Jesus And Ill try to do my best! I want to give him my love, and my attention! I’ll let others worry about their own direction! Just a simple faith in Christ is what I’ll count on! Christ is always someone that I can depend on! You stick with new ideas and current fashions! I think I’m going to love Jesus, with a compassion! He’s all that I need, and someone that I’m proud of! As long as I have him... Everything else I need less of! Does Jesus change? No! He’s the same as ever before! His promises and words of life I always need more! I thank and bless Jesus! And the power of his name! With him in my life! Things will never be the same! By Jim Pemberton

Insignificant Matters

To write a poem of which make a person change
is not so insignificant and strange
Without those people things will always be the same
then their would be the blaming game
I write this poem to the Insignificant out their
because they do not deserve the bad stare

To write a poem of which make a person change
is not so insignificant and strange
Without those people we would not be guessing
people would just plane stressing
I do understand how feeling are
because I do stare into the star

To write a poem of which make a person change
is not so insignificant and strange
Without those people we could not be our selves
people would just give up and leave things on shelves
I do think people that is insignificant are life batter
because everyone in life is not insignificant they all matter

Ludwig and Vincent

Ludwig & Vincent...

‘They said that you were mad, Vincent’, whispered Ludwig to a silent Vincent.

‘I still am, quite insane’, replied Vincent, ‘but you, dear Ludwig, you were deaf, and mad, I hear’.

‘I listened with my soul, Vincent, I heard it all without hearing a sound. Yes, mad and deaf indeed I too, still am’, Ludwig said, smiling at Vincent.

‘just look at them now’, Vincent replied, smiling with Ludwig, ‘look at them now, as they hawk sunflowers, blissfully oblivious of exquisite starry nights’.

‘yes’, smiled Ludwig, ‘look at them now, they crave joy, yet they cannot hear an ode, dear Vincent, they cannot hear it! They do not care enough to hear’.

‘Yes, dear Ludwig’, Vincent sighed, ‘they do not care enough to hear’.

Ludwig and Vincent smiled, each tugging an ear.

The Setting Of The Sun: Part One

She no longer rules the waves,
no longer is heard the chink of ice
in gin glass beneath darkening Indian skies;
what jewels glisten in the corroding crown,
how happy now this happy breed who bows
collective heads and cries?
History’s pain trawled across the planet face,
when slaughter ruled and oppression demarcated
the only foreign policy;
exploitation and enslavement of the weak,
colonialism and the salvage rights
the tools of peace and democracy.
Empires of muscle, iron and discipline,
forged on the blood, bone and murder of millions,
so proud, so pleased as punch;
a bullish bite spreading wildfire rabies,
mad dogs and Englishmen
permanently out to lunch.
Empires of dreams, of glittering prizes,
home of the brave where freedom’s flame
burned naked and bright;
a cultural plague preaching death, destruction,
fed on subservient carcasses
in sinister shadows of night.
And now in dying feel-good days,
clinging to glorious dreams of the past,
of powder, bayonet, cannon and gun;
achievements in the global butcher’s yard
may be all that remains in bearing witness
to the setting of the sun...

I Am

I am something you hold when you miss,
And I am forgotten all but a gentle kiss!
I am the cold draft when you’re all alone.
And I am the smile that generates your happy home.
I am something for nothing but I’m more than most.
And I am your summer breeze, I am your host.
I am the tear that falls from your eyes,
And I am the light that outshines your lies.
I am the flutter in your beating heart,
And I am the breath that gives you a fresh start.
I am the lump in your throat when lost for words,
And I am the silence you have always heard.
I am the warmth traveling in your blood,
And I am the memory you instantly flood.
I am the dream you’ve always had,
And I am the one with you happy or sad.
I am the one that always told you so,
And I am the only person you positively know.
I am taken and given because I just am,
And I am exactly what I am,
And not even by you will I be jammed!

New Year's Resolution

The end of the year is really near
O, to you, my lovely, lovely dear
I promise I will not make any stir

Let not your world dwell, in fear
For you will never sit, at the rear
As I take the old wheel and steer

I will not drink vodka, or, a beer
When the olden friends are here
Even, with my ex-seductive peer

Thou, I may share them, a cheer
It doesn’t mean, I’ll give my ear
Don’t listen, to what you’ll hear

I let not panther rose shed a tear
Whatever fight we had this year
Let live, the spirit, of New Year

Fill the house, with joy, not tear
Besides, I’ve got no will to gear
Nor, will I seek for another dear

To you, and to my precious heir
I say a Happy, Happy New Year
Not a Happy, Happy New Dear!

To This World I Was Born

To this world I was born….

When Adam and Eve finally obeyed the Evil One
When the Evil One was rejoicing in his dark seat
When God was not happy of His nemesis’ feat
When the Angels could not even sing in unison
When the golden sun, in haste, faded beyond horizon
When the charming moon lacked its own charisma
When northern star couldn’t blink, ‘cos of bad karma
When the white clouds turned nasty to a black man
When my father spent the night with his Tuesday fan
When my mother decided her own time to conceive
When my older brother was not willing to receive
When neighbors wouldn’t stop peeking, like damn rat
When the entire world seemed at peace, but really not

To this world I was born….

Not to emulate my parents Adam and Eve
To resist the Evil One and not to be deceived
To serve and worship God, not only when I hear the bells
To sing the psalms of praises, in unison with the Angels
To witness the golden sun rising from the east
To send greetings to the charming moon, with a kiss
To make a wish upon the great northern star
To dream…. floating on white clouds, not in a car
Not to have a Tuesday fan or a Thursday blonde
To use my time, for I’ve less, wisely till the last round
To accept others mistakes… and to share, cheerfully
To love my neighbor and live with them, peacefully
To shine, against all odds, to the entire world

Yes, to this world I was born…..thru my sister’s hand
Thankful and happy as always, I am, till last days end

discrete..not so much

Your lips should be burning, yet you smile in vain
Who are you really, I don't think I know
You have been full of lies since a long time ago

New doors of life open every single day
I am closing this one, and parting my own way

It is obvious to me now, though I kinda got it before
That what we thought was friendship was masked in lies...
and so much more

It's okay that I heard you, I am pretty glad I did
Now for once you were honest and ya did even know it kid
I heard the night of last ,your true thoughts about me

Truth I like, I can handle that
But you said it not to me, but behind my back
You thought I was gone, and had freedom of speech
My ears were there, within reach

Guiltliy you slammed shut the door,
after a gulp of uh oh
you spoke of it no more

Dang it! who you say your my friend
then turn around and blade me in the back

After an hour I came back to the room
My back still bleeding, yet you still sang a happy tune
Not knowing I knew, we chatted a bit
You poured on the burning alcohol with your concerned skit.

so many things in that moment I wanted to say,
But I held my tongue and just started to pray
relieve this girl her tention so dear
help her understand these words very clear

Honsesty is a force between friends
that binds them like glue from end to end
every lie, like hot water, dissolves some of that trust
then things said like last night, apart we bust

All I ever asked in my friendship with you
is to be honest and to be true
no matter the pain it may cause me so
the truth will set you free, and I needed to know

Ready to listen is all I have ever been
that door is closed now, my humble little Friend
These words are in anger, yes that may be true
but tired is my mind of trying to figure out you

It is not the first that your voice has been heard
For my ears have resounded every word
Gleefull and happy with me to my face
Then ridiculed and tarnished in every other place

the bitter sweet symphony plays in my heart
as two worlds fly vastly apart
new friends you will soon have in another, place another town
I will pray that honesty be replaced, you lying little clown

Erin Moran and Stephanie Weir kicked my ###

(This is a fictional poem)

Last week I felt great fear.
I met Erin Moran and Stephanie Weir.
Erin starred in Happy Days and Stephanie starred in Mad TV.
They joined forces and beat the hell out of me.
They whooped me because I accidentally called them Stephanie Weird and Erin
Moron.
When they got through beating me, most of my teeth were gone.
That ticked me off so I slapped them and told them that they are witches who
should be flying on brooms.
They attacked me again and sent me to the emergency room.
I'll never again be able to watch Happy Days or Mad TV.
If you ever meet Moran or Weir, watch what you say to them or you'll go to the
hospital like me.

Oh, Please Don't Leave Me!

Without you, what life would be?
The answer, I actually don’t know
For I’ve no idea, if there’s tomorrow
Oh, please don’t leave me!

Without you, what life would be?
Everyday, from you I receive a smile
That is your beauty and lovely style
Oh, please don’t leave me!

Without you, what life would be?
After all those happy times been together
Will you just go, leaving my heart in despair?
Oh, please don’t leave me!

Without you, what life would be?
Oh yes, you are in me, and I am in you
For our endless love is real and so true
Oh, please don’t leave me!

Without you, what life would be?
No one knows, but tell me, where you’ll stay
I follow not, if surely you want to go away
Oh, please don’t leave me!

Without you, what life would be?
I guess our life will never be the same
But, on you, I put no curse or blame
Oh, please don’t leave me!

Without you, what life would be?
Of course, I’ll cry, when suddenly you fly
Like a butterfly, in solitude, up into the sky
Oh, please don’t leave me!

Without you, what life would be?
Separate lives, our hearts torn apart
Neither you nor me, wanted to depart
Oh, please don’t leave me!

Without you, what life would be?
There is hope, I think, for every fall
I keep fingers crossed, that happy we stay all
Oh, please don’t leave me!

Changed

Open your eyes and look at yourself
Are you happy with who you are?
Are you happy with who you’ll be?
The world’s changed you
turned your innocence and ignorance
into corruption and stupidity
Magazines and tv shows tell you what to do
You live your life through tv
emulating the things you see
One-night stands, drugs, and beer,
whatever they tell you to do
Guys want sluts
Girls want jerks
As long as there’s sex
they think it works
Love is only physical,
emotions overrated
Fidelity and honesty are extinct

Crayons

A small lonely child, she sits and puts her crayons on the floor
Separates colours into light and dark, happy and sad she muses
Packs away all the bright happy crayons
There's no room in life for such frivolity
For all she sees is the dark looming
Her rainbows are all coloured in deep blues and crimson
There's no sun, no warmth, just a huge dark crescent moon
Figures in her pictures have no eyes, they don't see her anyway
She's invisible as if she exists on another plane

A single tear escapes her eye, rolling silently down a tiny cheek
She captures it in her hand, even her tears are colourless
A true reflection of the emptiness within
Picking up the happy crayons she tosses them away
With them all her dreams and expectations
She turns and walks away, no one notices
Disappearing into the welcoming shadows
Into that dark familiar place

Empty Complacency

Blood pools in the streets in splatters
Another bomb, an embassy perhaps
Exhausted in it’s method leaving
Nothing but bodies.

A floating miracle in pink
Surrounded by a bag of trash
A beautifully horrid image casts
A newborn tossed aside wrapped in irony.

A picture of disrespect reflects
How little we now care about others
A religious explosion with a much deserved
Outcome, however drastic it may seem.

The outcries from a strip of land
Forced to leave their home
In a land that they were given
By their own people, trying to make peace.

A war with an oily subplot
A criminal is captured for the wrong reasons
Leaving a country in collapse all for the
Good of the world beyond it’s borders.

A heartfelt desperation as a ship arrives from the Sea
With waving happy survivors, and a father stands alone
On the shore watching and waiting for a son,
That will never arrive.

She flicks the channel, and watches
Scenes unfold without a happy ending
Leaving her feeling numb and empty in her cozy slippers
Complaining to herself that there’s no good news anymore.

She turns it off.

look in my hair
take a peak

can't we all
just learn to be happy
with new !

are you happy
now !
I happy
your happy
here move
see

Happy Face

Put on the happy face for everybody else’s sake
Make them think you’re a-okay
Make them think that everything’s fine
that you’re as happy as you’ve ever been
But deep inside is where you hide everything you really feel
Let it all simmer for awhile hoping it doesn’t boil
Just keep it all with you so they don’t have to worry
Let it all slowly eat away at every fiber of you being
while everybody thinks you’re so happy that you could sing
Just keep it all where it belongs
deep inside yourself
Don’t burden others with your troubles
Why kill their good moods?
Just put on your happy face
so that nothing seems out of place
