A mother's treasures

A solitary piece the diamond
precious rare gem most treasured
by those lucky enough to hold
Once in possession it is rarely out of grasp
Like the gemstone the mother
requires very specific conditions
in holding fast her (family/) childrens love
Treasured forever in her heart
she will go out of her way
to preen and protect them
holding them dear to her
deep within her maternal safe – the heart
closely guarded by the mind
Her infatuation of all treasures to her
are totally understandable
especially when you think to the complexity
of structure and process taken in creation
Just as from the ‘unbreakable’ in ancient greek
this alletrope of carbon
with strength of bonding between atoms
is representative of that strong love
between mum and child
The maternal being could be compared
to the superlative physical qualities of the stone
Even the characteristic luster
of this gem so prevaient from its ability
to disperse light and colour
compared to the many strengths, roles and qualities
of the mother
seen by the many she deals with daily
A most high pressured job
versus the high pressured temperature
within the Earths mantle
that forms the delightful rock it gives birth to
Infants delight and ignite the forbearer
just as the jewel would dazzle the room
a mother’s love encaptures the magical luster
of those she’s birthed and nothing
stands inbetween this richest of cargo’s

The Mighty Waves

The aching need to be near
The enduring pain no one could bear
Trying to control the mounting fear
As disaster strucked unaware.

Felt so alone, with no one there
Seeing the love ones drifted apart
But they could only see,
As they became the ocean's heart.

Who could express the lost they had?
Who could feel the heart hurting so bad?
Crying over a lost son who is just a little lad
They could do anything but bring him back.

Country shattered and torn
People left homeless
Mighty wave come and gone
Strong but merciless...

Trees of the Lord

The trees of the Lord
Full of sap and evergreen
Planted by waters,

Spreading out their roots
Even when drought comes with heat,
Still, will yield their fruit.

Cedars of Lebanon

Tree of honor born from the cedars of Lebanon
No seed does it drop and it not know where
Absorbing the heat to provide a haven of shade
Seasons and storms cause no threat
No cutting words can perpetrate its bark
A sapling mirrors its sway in the daystar’s light
Majestic and true, august and firm
Friendly and kind always waving never wavering
Never can the seed of this produce anything but a Cedar of Lebanon

My Future Generation

I can act insane
But DO NOT
Make me feel worthless

I belong in God’s family
He will bless my future generation

Don’t punish me for
Being myself –
Don’t envy my glee

I can act like an
Adult, but I’d
Prefer to have joy…

Not stress…
That piles upon us in our
Everyday lives

Being childlike is

A rare beauty –

No one prizes it…

No one came across it…

In this lifetime…

I can laugh all day
I can make you smile
If you’d accept my
Childlike dreams of mine
Don’t treat me like a sick swine

Renew my young heart
Give me the ability
To kill the old man…

I have my place in God’s family
He’ll be adored and glorified
We’ll exchange prayers and hugs
By my future generation

I beg of you –
Don’t kill my childlike mentality
I’ll behave myself…
I’m positively sure that I’ll make you happy

I’ll still have pieces of a child in me

And pass it on to my future generation…

Look Memaw

Look Memaw!

I went outside when my grandson called me.
Down the wheelchair ramp I walked while looking.
I glanced all around, left and right, searching.
Then, I heard it, his wee small voice saying,
“Look, Memaw, I am up here in the tree!”
To my surprise, I had to look way up.
Not ten feet, not twenty feet, thirty feet –
Yes, tiny as he is, he climbed that high.
Afraid to show alarm, that he might fall.
I laughed and said, “What are you, my primate?”
“What’s a primate?” he asked curiously.
“A monkey, a primate is a monkey.”
After I responded, he replied, “No.”
With great pride, adding, “I am a tree frog.”

Indigenous I Am, from the Stolen Generations

This is a journey, a trip call it what you will It follows the footsteps of my ancestors, and allows my thoughts too spill Firstly let me take you back, to tell you so little of my past Indigenous I am, from the "Stolen Generations" I did not last This is why I must make this journey, to allow me to find the real me To retrace the few steps I made, to rediscover what my young eyes seen How ironic that the person I'll ride with, is the son of the then official Whose deliberation to round up us children, the scene, locale It's now the morn of our travel, where I look I find hard to see The peripheral of the distant horizon, is all that really captures me The town where I grew up so young, barely to the age of five Perth, now bustles like a termites nest, zig zagging in busily strive Into the bush we go, to a place where us youngsters so enjoyed Moore River Native Settlement, which soon became children void As I walk my arid lands, patterned in the heat of this day I recall with every step, where us Indigenous children played We could survive on the smallest of fruit, water we could easily find Even the son of the then official, said that we are a superior kind He marvelled when I spotted tracks, traces of where animals crossed Remembering back to when I was five years old, our lands always talked We opened up as we led our horses, introduced all those centuries ago They opened up my lands, rivers we walked, now the white man flows This is a journey I had to make, it's called, it's in my will No more "Stolen Generations" no more will my culture spill

Mirrorred Refrain-GOD GAVE US LOVE FREELY

Smell the spring aroma and
let it delight all your senses...
don't the softest roses bloom
on windless, sunniest days?

Let my slow fingers caress your lustrous hair,
feel the pleasant warmth of a lovely afternoon;
on windless, sunniest days...
don't the softest roses bloom?

Only the truest lovers can set the white moon ablaze,
as the passing stars shed more light on their faces;
don't the softest roses bloom
on windless, sunniest days?

God gave us love freely as the air we breath;
humans have turned it into lust and doom...
on windless, sunniest days
don't the softest roses bloom?

Wisdom of Heights---Climb with Me

This morning
bells toll
a trumpet sounds
but refuses to blare
it just doesn't know
how to harm
what it takes
to infect the living

trees
earth
and sound
survive sadness
out last the past
bond brothers and sisters
of sky
air
mud
and water
as it loses
to a force

some days...

this morning
it wins
because the vibration knows god
and is ONE

and though human imperfections
sit in the shadows of it's path
perfections will
and forever will
prevail

people
so arrogant
we choose to destroy
but how can we concentrate
on methods of malcontent
when god sits at our breakfast table?
urging
as father urges child
"get up!"
"move on!"
"stand on two feet!"
"breath child!"

he tolls the bell
as we lay on deaf ears
he loosens ties with anger
as the path warns and wears
thrusting
driving this cosmic ship
of no loses
only tiny
arrogant setbacks

and he smiles
for he knows
what we yet
have to find...
and all is well.

The Orchid

The Orchid
As the orchid blooms its long beautiful flower
The perfume of which fills the air hour by hour
The strength in its leave when open from bud
No decay just a little wrinkle as in age it should

If Orchis the son of the nymph and satyr
Had not drunk of the vine and showed his desire
As he drank long and hard at the feast of Dionysus
His eyes fell on a priestess and caused all the fuss.

He wanted her, was his drunken decree
And he didn’t care if she didn’t want he
He coveted the priestess as he drank by the hour
Determined he was soon her going to deflower.

His advances she said she would not take
But he did not listen and her he would make
But for this insult to a revered priestess
The gods were determined he’d pay for her distress

He would not go unpunished this was THEIR decree
And ripped limb from limb they decreed he would be
The bacchanalians did tear him apart and justly so
He should have accepted the priestess she said NO!

The father of Orchis prayed the Gods would restore
The son that he loved and would for evermore
After they listened to the prayers of a father distraught
The Gods returned Orchis not as a man but as a flower they thought.

Orchis became the flower with the strange sounding name
Whose beauty enchants and its perfume does the same
The orchid, the bulbs shape we will recognise today
The part under the body, where a man likes us to play.

My Hero

My Hero

You would tuck me in at night before you went to work, like your back didn’t hurt from your day job that you didn’t put first.

We didn’t have much, but not much was enough because I had my hero’s love.

Your courage fed me and led me to believe that you where unstoppable.

When you have a hero that’s a queen like Berlene, your dreams are not impossible.

Your guidance is like a lot of food that Bertha would make.

Smelling the food I would ask “Did you bake me a cake?”

But my hero would prepare all the plates as the elders talked about
service today.

Just like James & James I want to remain a king.

Tally and Mr. Alex will teach you a thousand things.

I would write it all down, now I have a pile of dreams.

My hero deserves a cape.

My hero thinks about the people that they can help today and tomorrow.

My hero stands tall but would knell to the man who stands spiritually taller.

You taught me that a person that put’s God first will remain guarded.

I thank Fathers that strive to teach their kids to pray harder and stay stronger so our problems would one day stay flawless.

I thank Arthur for being a hero but a man first. Monk was a monk because every decision he made, he planned first.

My hero ensured my safety, never told me what I can’t be, and still made me feel like a baby.

My hero is amazing watch me grow up and be a mirror image.

I even searched for my hero secret ingredient; I threw up to many times eating too much spinach.

When I was finished, my hero told me to wash the dishes.

My hero taught me love, unity, knowledge; and we still have a great friendship.

I see my hero from a clear view and will never put my hero in my rear view.

Even if I move a thousand miles away, my hero would drive a thousand miles today, to tell me dinner is ready and I need to wash my face.

My hero is people I watch today.

If you are influential, motivated, educated, and can add the seasoning to a Sunday dinner you are a hero.

Either to yourself, your family, or a little boy who was once too short to even look through the peep hole.

My hero has no ego, just represents strength, courage, and
wisdom like an eagle.

Thanksgiving Family Tradition

My sons eyes opened wide,

when I pulled on the slide,

on the airplanes opening door partition,

I had took the time,

without being sublime,

to explain the Reith Family's Thanksgiving tradition,

Maybe he had thought it pure jest,

 his bulging eyes processed,

as his parachute opened, he wore a look of derision,

 His body had spun,

his look registered stunned,

like this was some kind of unreasonable decision,

It was expected of the youngest born,

 before Thanksgiving morn,

to bring back from the nearest forest, a bird,

after a mighty and fierce war,

with piles of blood spilled galore,

he registered a look,

 that I mistook,

as if my demands were patently absurd,

After the last desperate howl,

of the game but defeated fowl,

he would drag the beast back to where we were living,

and as hard as he was able,

slam it down on the dinner table,

and holler loudly, "To all a Happy Thanksgiving"!

To Mother-Nature

I seek immortality in two days’ life, Preserve me mother-nature,in your greenary. I seek no mutability My destination is not grave, Save me mother-nature, in your lap. I seek peace in your surreal beauty, Permit me mother-nature,to play with your colours. I seek longevity like that old mountains, Entwine me mother-nature,in your essence. I seek no disappearance like that morning dew, Let me flow mother- nature, with that river. I seek joys In your broader chest, Hug me mother-nature,with your strong boughs.

MOM I'm Pregnant

What shall I say to her?

What if she knows?

Can she tell that I carry another soul?

As I wonder what would I tell mom...

All these thoughts paced through my head,

I should have NEVER laid in his bed...

Sweet nothings was ALL that he said...

He got what he wanted, then left, just fled...

I was weak a young victim a surely misled...

When I confessed to my mother,

That I had slept with my lover,

And in a few months she'd be a grandmother...

Her face turned cherry red, yet words where still unsaid...

Days turned into months,

My belly stuck out further in front...

 Finally we spoke today,

She said "When is he due?"

I replied "This May the 8th."

She said "She loves me!"

That was it, nothing else to say but "I love you too mom, in a special way!"

For it will be a blessed Mothers Day...

My Statistic: Life is challenging enough, it tends to be even
Harder for adolescence because they don't
Know as much as they think they
Know in actuality they don't. But mistakes and accidents are
Apart of life.... You live and you learn...

Sincerity - A Gift Of Healing Through Gods Loving Light

...of sunbeams that shine endless light
the heart gift show loving patter
O' the glorious grace that fills my heart
for each soul sincerity shower

How fortunate am I
for the beauty of love I see in others
A gift so priceless my soul elate
reining down from God our Father

with summer lighting in sky of fear
and winters cold unknowing
by your side I stand in armor
as life storm leave shrouds of pain

in confusion I shield a weakened heart
with words that simply encourage
for each I cuddle with warm compassion
with song of love and grace

...of sunbeams that shine endless light
the heart gift show loving patter
O' the glorious grace that fills my heart
for each soul sincerity shower

The Son

I was once kissed by the sun
Caressed in oils my breasts bathed free
like growth in my womb
kissing the moon
Capturing my true essence
unmasked, plain, pure

Naked in love my insecurities
gave birth to my esteem
But then I became free
from the taunting and ridicule of
socieity's template of me
by adopting a new personality
One that reflects the real me

I like poetry I like to sing
I understand my spiritual need
I like love
I like the breeze
I like rhythm and passion
and long lasting nights of
random acts of sensual moments that
awaken parts of me previously repressed
The love I feel is so unrest

I was once kissed by the sun
It's power gave me light and enabled my writing to become
spoken words
leaving footprints on the ink in my pen
Some of thoughts escaped through actions of sin
Unspoken words just thrown away
Never spoken, or written again

Awakened by the sun
all drenched in it's heat
Praising it's soure of power
and embracing humility
Giving what I have to give
Learned to let go it's easier to forgive
We strive for riches but lest we forget
the richness of the sun
Each day be thankful for his son

Serenade

Like the first dawning
dew drops
Like the fresh scents
of morning
Like cut grasses in
spring time
Like a flower
in new bloom

Your beauty enfolds me
Engulfs and abounds me
Completely unveils me
Makes my heart cry for more

Like the depths of your
valleys
Like the gushing of
geisha's (hot springs)
Like the turn of the
ocean
Trickling streams
down the mountains
Like the mists upon
Snowdon
Gently rise
Gently fall

Guess not often
I tell you
Just how much
you mean to me
That my life
would be worthless
Without you to adore

Yes, I'm saying
I love you
And I hope you
are listening
For it seems like
a lifetime
To speak out
surface and soar

Like the eagle
flies on wing
Like the clouds
In the Heavens
Like trees
rustle above
My life trembles
with passion
Let me show
my adoration
My courtship and
fondness
My sweetest amore

Point Lobos Paths

Last Fall, my church's Scouts and I went hiking.

A few miles north of Big Sur’s coast,
There is a forested park much to our liking.

Point Lobos is the nature preserve that I love most.

The beauty there is supernal, beyond description.

We chose our trails with maps and compasses,
And practiced local plant identification.

I pointed out Monterey Pines and Cypresses.

For a time we climbed a steep inclination.

We looked down into a cove, home of sea otters,
From a viewpoint near the old whalers’ station.

We climbed through a cleft worn down by waters.

That Saturday outing wasn’t a total disaster.

The boys passed tasks to advance in ranks.
Life doesn’t get much better for an old Scoutmaster.

Lastly, to the Great Spirit we all gave thanks.

The Sea Waves

All waves rise from the sea,
Sons of the mother sea,
Running hard, for her to see,
Pouring heart, for her to see.

Along with kins they see,
Mother, the beauty sea,
Beats for their mother, the sea,
To fathom the beauty sea.

Sons rise and fall to see,
Then tilt and turn to see,
Their mother, the lovely sea,
Their mother, the pretty sea.

Poetry About Poetry

Shades of color bounce within
Singing their hues dancing in place
Vivid lines colored outside
Rules broken with empty space
A midnights dream heard and seen
Gleaming from the twinkle of a eye
Wings touched flown and plucked
Gliding like a bird up in the sky
Wishes from pennies thrown into tears
The reservoir over flowing with pigments of pain
Drowning from the shadows
The flood paints the day
Words speak volumes of silence hidden
Their sounds blind to what they see
Mirrors of nouns and verbs
Their meaning and secrets lost at sea
Emotions ruled by laws of language
Spelled in boxes of glass
Melted from sands inside
That voices strangle to grasp

                                                Oooh you shine so bright

in every full autumn night without your friend in cite,

that helps you dominate the night sky

                                                with your dens chilling light

which helps me seek my ways throw the hunting mystery of the night,

Theo I wish on every day and every night

nature can deliver such a beautiful cite... Moon Light Bright.

two lips and a whisper changed a universe today,

patterns contort and minds tilt ajar,
my soul is dumbfounded in sight of this art,

head in the clouds, where home isn't far,
seems ages away, knee deep in the stars,

i know not, the language,
i can not define,
but i know that its coming,
it's growing, it's mine.

SEXY FRENCH GIRLS encounter an American 15yr old boy

FRENCH GIRLS
 in the eyes of an
 innocent
15 yr American old boy

My son
Sweet naive
Raised in China
Where MTV and YOUTUBE are banned
Where no girl kisses
Until her university days end.
Raised in China
Where knees are covered--
Lips are sealed--
Where boys
Only dream
Of the wonders of Red sex.
My son
Said he loved Paris
     For the Eiffel
     For the Louvre
     For the Seine
     For the wine.

But I knew
He loved Paris
For the
Blackest panties
Barely hiding
Knowing smiles
Of
Short tight skirts.

Sun

Smoking spitter,
Hell is where is holiday,
We watch you stare us down,
Falling, but held in heaven's black old town,

Son of no father,
Father of everyone,

Is your kind of fire in my kind of heart?,
We are all born blind,
So do we all shine from the start?,

Sitting between the shine and shade,
Am I the "We" that you forbade?,
Watching you stare down,
Falling...
Still in heaven's black old town,
We just wait... for heaven's sundown,
We, as babies on the ground

free cee I will bet you VIENNA would make the same plea

sorry Vienna, but i need to use your name or no one reads me...but i know
you will agree with this so don't be angry, thanks and i am e-mailing all my
friends that your tribulations will end and you can once again smile and make me smile
              DEAR OR DEER PEOPLE
Please stop doing that
it's creating havoc
and making people and animals angry
half the world is drinking parasitic water
the other half doesn't give a damn about what happens
so long as their stocks rise
as I sit here with reddened eyes
because you will not stop and listen
the universe is speaking to you
in explicit terms
it begins by saying what I said above
stop and feel the love
the love every man should feel
and make it real
the universe is begging “please stop doing that”
it's simply not right
for our children to be left with blight
the deer are crying
the eagles are dying
and liars are denying
they claim to care
about this planet we all share
so please,
stop doing that
a Styrofoam cup will last where it lays
for four million days
a cigarette butt will be around for my grandson and my great
great grandchildren to find
so please be kind
because Mother Nature went through a lot of trouble to
design that which we behold
the beauty that to me is more precious than gold
so please stop doing that
if I could i'd hand you all a lot of cash
before Mother Nature gets a ravenous rash
so please stop doing that
for as long as you live, day by day
think before you throw something away
