On the day our eyes open to the prism of the sun On that day, Winter solitude would be gone The avalanche of differences melts into nothingness Through the same breath, through the same soul We would live again as one ,no matter who we are No matter the colour of our skin,Gay or straight rich or poor, innocent or once found guilty. No matter if We are lawyers, prisoners, doctors or pheasants No matter our political believes ,nor our different religions A catholic,a muslim,a buddhist , a hinduist,or a jew . On that day,we would all wear identical dresses We would all be the significant other ,because He has died, and He has died for all. Jesus died for Peter,John and Judah for Lazarus and Maria Magdalene, Jesus died for me , He has died for you ,for him ,for her,and even for them. He gave up till the last drop of blood and painful cry for each and every name engraved upon our Father's palm. He was born to die,but its not his death that we celebrate , We celebrate His life ,because we believe in life We celebrate His forgivness ,because We experienced the beauty of forgivness ,the happiness ,the return of blissful joy. and , We celebrate the ever present love Because it is the gift of love that He bestowed on us Jesus was born to die , but He was born to rise Upon death He has risen , through His death We survived Because of Him , in the darkness ,in the labyrinth of our night There will always, always be the little flicker of a candle that fills our hearts with hope ,and warming light.

Just Me and You Again

The morning sun peeks in my window as I feel a tug at my feet how could I not smile at that little sheepish grin Easter morn has arrived He is risen and so shall I Pitter-patter across the worn pine floor giggles, shrieks and laughter fill my home searching for the hidden coloured eggs my joyous children roam. Such a special day. Dressed in our new spring best we show our love for Him celebrating with close friends and family indulging in delectable candies and cakes a family game of whiffle ball, pushing my little one on the swings enjoying each others company basking in the freshness of the great outdoors The skies begin to darken the stars start to shine our day has come to an end. After all the hugs are given the I love you's spoken kisses blown, good byes said I climb up high into my cold brass bed and reflect upon this glorious day again it's just me and You

Wood and Nails

After planking some wood,
I carried it across the yard,
two boards at a time upon my shoulders.

When I finished erecting the stack of wood,
she offered a refreshing sip from her cup
and nailed me harder than Jesus had been.

(the irony of the wood and nails didn't escape me)

I figure this to be a great tradition to uphold
during the Easter holidays:

the wood and nails,
the resurr.erection,
riding a divine ascension into heaven
upon her thighs.

And on the third day
he rose again

and again.

*This is referring to the hybridization of Easter as decreed by Constantine,
and the pre-existing Ishtar celebration of sex and fertility.
Ishtar is the root-origin of the word: Easter.

If you were to ask me, I'd say that Constantine attempted ruining a good thing.
It is one of my many life goals to help resurrect feel-good Pagan celebrations such
as the Ishtar Spring Festivities.

If one has a willing lover, this celebration is easy to partake in,
and can be most pleasurable: simply plank some wood and start nailing.
A sustained rhythm is highly advisable when engaging in a good session of nailing.

Happy Ishtar/Easter Holy Days!

I Love You Jesus

~I Love You Jesus~ (Couplets) Just when I thought, I was alone and so lost, You came to live inside my heart, and paid for me the greatest cost, Of all, and since then You never left my side no matter what I have done, Or what in my life I've chosen to do.In my soul you shine like the sun You're the most wonderful thing that happened to me.You make me whole, Without You to guide me I would be now in an empty darkened hole, Without You by my side, this life would be so worthless and very mean, Without You, my world would be so cruel and empty and so coldly grim. I know that there's nobody like Him in the whole world, you see He touches my heart and my soul, everyday, in every conceivable way, He's made everything for me so completely brand-new, you see, His sweet love fills the emptiness of my sinful soul, He sets me free. His love is the greatest therapeutic healer that every man should know, And without His Love and Grace there wouldn't be, any love left to show. I Celebrate Easter

Good Friday, is the day Jesus was crucified on the cross.
Jesus was willing to give His life for ours in order to give
us eternal life.

Easter Sunday, is the day Jesus rose from his tomb.
This is a joyous day and reminds us of His love for all
of us.

This is why I celebrate Easter, because I love Jesus for
all he did for you and for me.
He has prepared us a home in heaven and filled it with
his everlasting love for us.

Crying Hosanna

Americans love the day of Easter for all its pageantry
the Sunday outfits, the fancy hats and the chocolate candy
but Christians love Easter for what it truly represents
it's the Resurrection day of Jesus the Christ our salvation present
it's a time to reap the benefits for the victory we won
when high on a cross at Mt. Calvary a sacrifice was done

yet many forget the significance of the Sunday of the Palms
when on an untamed colt Jesus the Christ rode in on
humbly riding on the back of a service domestic beast
He came to serve, support and sacrifice for the least
God had need of that donkey at that appointed hour
like He has need of each of us to be the manifestation of His power
God will use anything when it comes to achieving His goals
be it a person, place or thing it's He who is in control

to serve God's purpose that is our true mission in life
to do whatever He requires of us in the name of Jesus the Christ
but more often than not we're tied up with earthly things
but God will find the means to cut away those binding strings
God will send something or someone to help you break free
just have the spirit of discernment that it's not coming from the Adversary

now those who witnessed Jesus' triumphant display
laid clothing and leaves of palm on the ground to pave His way
crying Hosanna to the highest blessed is He
the Son of Man who came to give us life abundantly
stripping off their mantles and cloaks of society
laying bare their faith for all the world to see
trusting and receiving
in the Messiah they're believing
crying Hosanna, Hosanna blessed is He
the Prince of Peace who came to serve and save you and me

My Easter Wish

Its Easter time for family and friends,
Joy and laughter goes on to no end.
The big Easter hunt will soon be here,
Kids are all happy to know that its near.

Its a special time in most parents life,
To have their kids around them, its an awesome sight.
They will search the house up side down,
To find the most Easter eggs, and wear the crown.

I found the most ,one kid will say,
So i wear the crown ,through out this day.
Not all Easters turn out like we plan,
For one kid is lost, like a grain of sand.

As parents we try and deal with this lost,
Of one kid not here, and the trials it has cost.
We pray that God will look after her, in her struggle to see,
How things went wrong , between her and me.

If i could turn back time ,and right the wrong,
Make things better, grow love that strong.
Pay more attention to their wants and needs,
Help them through trouble times, is where i should be.

Easter comes but once a year,
It should be the time of love and not of fear.
Trying to see things through her eyes,
Makes me feel sad, for i know she tries.

I was just trying to remember the past
trying to remember the good people
 and the bad people,
that i came across on my way,

i want you to know
that you are among the good people
that left a good trace in my life,

once again i just want to say thank you
for passing through my life,
is so short but is wonderful
i want you here forever.

Tender of Roses

Beloved, lovely roses: gift of God and lover’s flower,
Spread your colored petals and cradle tender showers.
While admiring the blossoms with their beauty to behold,
Ought we not to know the Tender of such lovely garden groves?

For He lovingly and thoughtfully wields His pruning shears
To cut away the stems of old for fuller future years.
He cultivates and feeds them. He attends them as a Father
Looking daily to their needs; so faithfully He waters.

From the dawn of morning dew until the setting sun arrays
Caring always for His own until that great appointed day…
When the Gardener comes to claim each one the earth held as its own.
He gently picks it at its peak and for His pleasure takes it home.

As God did one glorious morning, when the Perfect Rose had bloomed.
He rolled away the stone and met with Mary at the tomb.
There the sweetest Rose of Sharon rose that we die not alone.
But be gathered for a garden grove, surrounding heavens throne.

A Lamb, unblemished, laid down and died

'Unquestionable Worth'

Imagine what life would be like
if our worth were determine by man

if our mistakes were a barometer of our worth
our favour would run hot and cold
like a see-saw through each day

each breathe we took would be a struggle
the one thing we do without thinking
would be so difficult to achieve

but we've been blessed beyond our imagination
because even in our darkest hour
even when we are down in the valley

God sees our worth
His Son chose to die for us
He declared; she is worth the sacrifice
He declared; he is worth the sacrifice

when in doubt,
when we feel unloved
we need to focus on the cross

God thought we were worth the sacrifice then

He still does; even today

His message to Mankind was divine love, much louder than
the desert wind hissing through the tall palm trees;
they heard Him, but sadly contempt built up when
they defiled the Temple by selling and trading instead of praying on their knees...
so Jesus got the whip and the lame and the blind cried out the word, " Hosanna! "

Hosanna! Hosanna!
Hosanna! Hosanna!

Christ was the faithful servant who was scourged, derided and crucified,
now, is the friend of all who believe in Him, not in a sinful world....
the Redeemer who carried the heavy cross to Calvary and died;
His resurrection was a victory over death making Him the eternal Lord!
Who besides Him is more worthy of God His Father, are we?
Anytime Jesus prayed, He finished that prayer with this holy word, " Hosanna! "

Hosanna! Hosanna!
Hosanna! Hosanna!

Nothing has was an unjust and mean world, and so it will be;
they lived for lust, power and money getting greedier than Judas who chose death;
find that good soul that resembles it that poor man who seeks mercy?
We can gather much gold, make him a crown and place it on his bruised head!
And while he sits there waiting for compassion, his feeble voice proclaims," Hosanna! "

Hosanna! Hosanna!
Hosanna! Hosanna!

All nations strive for supremacy, making useless and massive weapons so destructive,
they have no love for their neighbors...they hate peace and every beautiful place;
we have made it to this century...will others see a tomorrow not dark and delusive?
Pray like Jesus did and put your fate in the hands of the Almighty who's grace!
No joy or possession is greater than faith...get up, look up and shout, " Hosanna! "

Hosanna! Hosanna!
Hosanna! Hosanna!

Ode to Humphrey

The"tail" I have to tell, starts off really sad.
My sweet doggie Murphy died and my heart, it hurt so bad.
Until one day in early spring, I got a call that made my heart sing!
There were some puppies born in Waco, the daddy -Jasper, and mommy- Juneau.
Four little boys, three little girls. But the picture of one boy, made my heart twirl!
So I waited for a week or two, to meet my little puppy-oh so new!
I named him Humphrey, such a handsome boy! He has brought laughter back and oh what a joy! He's super cute, and very smart. Many would say, he's a work of art!
He's learning new tricks, and how to potty outside. So many rules to learn and abide!
Humphrey is growing so quickly, the puppy breath will soon disappear. He will be an adult in less than a year! Every stage of his life is a blessing from above. I guess that's the true meaning of what we call "puppy love".

Sea impression

                 Wave a sea softened
and a pain and a tenderness
                   throw dreams in fascination
                   of the blue.
And let shave the waves of
                   Your eternity , oh, weigh
                    above me,
                    oh,weigh a coast of years.
                    Carry far in azure, spiral
                    with bulging little abdomens,
                    flutter with mahagony pinions
and already in vain expect you
                    to stop the scales harbours
with hot flames for You are
Far away, far away ,far away,
                    stretched string,
                    heart and frank await the
                    hymn of June.
All sea sisters are dressed in
                    mother-of-pearl garment
                    embroidered of kiss of
                    In the morning hunts them
                    fishermen and revive with
                    breath of their man’s hands.
                    In the evening girls wash
                    their black tunics,
                    in their blue hearts,
                    their feet white ,who cadge
                    heavy chains.
                    The night is squeezed enigma
                    and ugly,
                    predatory like a bat pecking
                    of scarlet fig.
                    Sea sisters, sea sisters,
                    remember His steps
                    which go through you noiselessly,
                  and ou swing like
                  bloody wine-
                 hold in His fingers Herod,
                 Pilate washes his hands,
                in Yours heirs
               and they bristled like winter
icicles bristles of innoncent blood .
               There at Golgotha
                hearing terrible cry,
                blood gushes like
               wounded river disappear
               like Easter roses,
              in weeds of flushed
     preditory crowd,
     to open way of
     Who is He?
     Do you heard
     His name ?
     He is Messiah,
     God’s anoited
      Jesus Christ.
      Like little sheeps,
      clouds of candy floss,
      they welcome festivaly.
       Barefooted are feet
      of lovely swarthy steps
of the sun, came to bow,
      before You , Creator.
      The sea throws his
       magnificent silver flesh,
      blue like heavently lace,
       to swallow all stars
       only Bethlehem’s
      stays inextinguishable,
       pretty like uncreated
      like an apple of not
      born girl.

The love of God what can I say
It's there for all to see
It was love that sent his only son
To die for you and me.

There is no other love like this
That He should die for man
Before the foundations of the earth
It was salvations plan.

This amazing love from God to man
Is summed up like this for me
Jesus Christ him crucified
At the place called Calvary.

Infinite Bridge

The sweet Lamb of God
was born to be the bridge
spanning the gulf between destruction and peace;
I can only cross safely
because He paid the price,
demanded by justice for my soul's release.

No mountain was ever higher
than His cross of agony;
no gulf was ever wider
than the one crossed for me.
His steps never faltered
as Christ carried sin's load,
all alone
to atone
up Calvary's road.

His arms formed a bridge
between heaven and hell,
stretching so wide to bring deliverance by grace.
His arms carry me surely
across the deep divide;
His blood paid the ransom my sin to erase.

No mountain was ever higher
than His cross of agony;
no gulf was ever wider
than the one crossed for me.
His steps never faltered
as Christ carried sin's load,
all alone
to atone
up Calvary's road.

Infinite bridge,
Incarnate Lamb,
Jesus Christ Savior,
the eternal I AM.
I can only cross safely
because He paid the price,
demanded by justice for my soul's release.

The True Meaning of Easter

The True Meaning of Easter! The true meaning of the Easter story, Is God’s Son came down to Earth from glory. Jesus really does love you and me. He was born to die that you might be free. For 33 years, he lived among sinful men. Then one day was to be an atonement for our sin. He who was born of the virgin Mary’s womb. Was to one day rise again from an empty tomb. So many people today have gotten into a bad habit, of replacing Jesus with the bunny rabbit. So please reach out to others and let them know, Of the lover and redeemer of their soul. The true meaning of Easter must forever be said. Of God’s son who died, but arose from the dead! By Jim Pemberton

What Easter Means to Me

There he stood, the Son of God and man His looks was average; like ordinary men Messiah in our presence! Yet, so few believed In spite of amazing miracles none of which had been seen before I tried to move a bit closer; away from the throng Was allowed no entry within the Governor’s gates Yet, I could see through the tall, marble columns He stood still; silent and regal just as a king The enemy smirked as he hung amongst the crowd; and thought he had won Predictably, pride once more would preempt his game My Lord in humility remained, though sadness and pain reflected in his eyes All alone, he faced accusing tongues and yet, he gave no response Dead silence hovered within the Prefect’s tall gates as he queried ‘Are you King of the Jews?’ My Lord replied, ‘It is as you say.’ Caiaphas and others, ruled by ego, it seemed, became bitterly enraged! Deadly pride indwelled; self assured, none thought to pray for discernment He was beaten and mocked; he was boldly spat upon The one who cleanse the lepers, and revived some long dead Not in secret were these miracles performed; but in the presence of multitudes Some with eyes could not see, and the darkness cast shadows of deeper doubt He was crowned with thorns; a mockery; made to bear the massive cross And as he passed before me, silent tears flooded my eyes What am I that he should suffer bitter humiliation and death on my account? I was on the road to Hell and Eternal Love has come to rescue me! As he hung upon that wooden cross, captivated by numbness, was I He cried, ‘It is finished!’ Then death lost its hold- the veil, forever torn! In the deepest level of Hades, the enemy cowered as he hides For again he has failed.. Purest Love has overcome ultimate hate ~*~

A Poem For You

Everytime I bring forth your image
From deep within the well of my mind
My heart begins shedding joyous tears
For your beautiful love that's mine

I can never escape feeling all the emotions
For they seem to overwhelm me each day
But just like the very first time I embraced you
The raging passion of my love will always stay

I was blessed the day you embraced me
That first moment you became my friend
And ever since your spirit held me close
My life changed as I was truly born again

You have never forsaken me a single day
Of the spiritual things which in life I need
And I love those very special moments
When your living word we together read

While I lift up my song of sweet love to you
Your daily showers of heaven's joy begins
I humbly thank you for giving your life's blood
A perfect Easter sacrifice to forgive all our sins.

A Happy Day

In mind's eye I reminisce, watching children play
of a spring day sitting here, seeing my children play

blessed to see their smiles, when they hit, slid or fell
A happy day begin playing ball, in this story I will tell

A kiss and hug I get, dad please take us to the fair
Seeing the rides, ooh's, awe's echo from our pair

Eating fried dough, peanuts, "Boy! see the games over there"
We're playing with family and friends, as they make a dare

Can't miss any ride that twists, mixes, spins or flys in the air
There's so much to see, ride and play with, in a day at the fair

Hearing "thanks mom and dad" that night, walking to the car
"Stay awake" they say as we move, you know they can't get far

This day all started with thoughts of fun, smiles and laughs
both asleep, with their dreams, today, mom and dad can laugh

A walk to the Cross

When Jesus walked to Calvary,
He fell many times along the way,
His heavy load caused Him to stumble,
Are we too proud to be so humble?

Our life is our walk to Calvary,
We also will fall along the way,
Our load is worry, fear and hate,
Do we deserve to reach the Golden Gate?

All His life Jesus did nought but good,
We would do the same if only we could,
If only we could embrace His way,
Our faith would grow stronger each passing day.

For forty days in the wilderness,
Satan watched to see Him transgress,
He never did, to His Father he was true,
Oh; this could happen to me and to you.

God loves us so much, that He gave up His son,
Who died for us in a terrible way,
Our sins, on His back, he bore that day,
God couldn't watch, He turned away.

Jesus died and was laid in a tomb of stone,
For three days He lay there but not alone,
Angels watched o'er Him day and night
On the third day the stone was rolled away.

Jesus was risen on that Easter morn'
His grave clothes were left for all to see,
Death was defeated and Satan cried,
I have been beaten, my prize denied.

What Jesus did all those centuries past,
Was to set us free from his clutches at last.
Now we can live our lives the Jesus way,
The Cross stands forever, pointing the way.

Now, Satan can test us, try all he might,
But Jesus protects us, both day and night,
Satan will always be there on our shoulder,
But Jesus' love just makes us bolder.

I don't know about you, but as for me,
I'll take my walk to Calvary,
I'll bear the scars of Satan's attack,
But I'll be ready when Jesus comes back.
