THE CHOCOLATE EASTER BUNNY-2

THE CHOCOLATE EASTER BUNNY

He’s the center piece within all Easter baskets,
Wrapped in his decorated box of many colors,
Proudly tempting the taste buds of every youngster.
Behold the chocolate Easter bunny, smiling
From the other side of that thin sheet of plastic
A confectionary bun-bun dream,
That melts in your mouth, not in your chocolaty
 Paw prints, lol.
Pound for pound, once for once this honey
Sweet bunny is a hard to beat, in the
Delicious department, he’s a leap and a
Jump above the rest.
Hip-hop the flavor variations never stop,
From vanilla’s delectable purity, to the crunchy
Milk chocolate supreme, no child’s Easter basket is
Complete without one of these scrumptious critters
To call all his own, poor little bunny his ears are the
First to go, with the yummy in the tummy bite,
Simply licking your lips perfection, of course it’s
Chocolate!!
It is a magical time of year for us the chocolate connoisseur,
For we whom worshiper the coca liquor,
That creates this masterpiece with tiny little bunny feet,
I know he’s my lucky rabbit’s foot, at least at munchie time.
What a feast I’m so down with this, how about you,
My friends whom droop at those shelves stocked full
With those Easter treats, at satisfaction candy counters.
Adults let us stand up and be counted it’s not just
It's not just a time for the children any more, why not make
It a holiday banquet for the grownups two,
I myself want an Easter basket of my own,
Full of that wondrous stuff, can you guess
What I’d fill it with, if you’ve not read this
Poem thoroughly I’d gladly explain it to you,
With one simple word, CHOCOLATE!!
He’s the center piece within all Easter baskets,
Wrapped in his decorated box of many colors,
Proudly tempting the taste buds of every youngster.
Behold the chocolate Easter bunny, smiling
From the other side of that thin sheet of the
Plastic wrap, a confectionary bun-bun dream,
That melts in your mouth, not in your chocolaty
 Paw prints, lol.

What Easter Means To Me

Tears of joy streak down
My dust covered face
As I just wandered by and witnessed
The utmost glorious grace

Just three days ago
I watched them crucify
The son of God himself
The man called Jesus Christ

They poked him with their spears
Wet his tongue with a vinegar sponge
Nailed him to a tree
And taunted “you’re not God’s son.”

He hung there ‘til he died
From his side water did drop
They buried him in a tomb
Where today I had to stop

Past three days the door was covered
A large stone placed there that day
But, today as I walked by
An angel rolled it away

He had kept his promise
Only 3 days would he lay dead
To forgive us all our sins
And, I believed in what he said

He glided out of the tomb
As if floating in the air
“Do not be afraid” he said,
With gentle love, and care

He represents new life
And all the wounds he can heal
Is Easter day your resurrection?
Can Jesus Christ be your shield?

I weep to think of the pain
He endured for you and me
So he could take away our sins
And one day, set us free!

The Easter Prayer of Thanks

The Easter Prayer of Thanks "2 There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. 3 His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow." Matt 28:2-3 NIV God, thank you for the gift of Easter; The sacrifice of your Son so treasured. To save our souls through your grace and mercy, That by heaven alone can be measured. Thank you for giving us hope; The hope of life after the grave. Winter dies and Spring comes to life— The resurrection of the saved! Your hand rules the universe With great glory and power. We give thanks for your love for us, And for every beautiful opening flower. We thank you for the birds That sing your praises every morn, And for the lofty mountains That with Winter's snow you adorn. Thank you for friends and family And the blessings that they bring, At this very special time— Christ's resurrection and the grandeur of Spring! Thank you for salvation Made possible by your love. Thank you that we have the hope of heaven— Easter's promise from above. May we all meet our Redeemer, As you come for us in the air, Because of Easter's hope of eternity, and the privilege of prayer! Crying Hosanna

Americans love the day of Easter for all its pageantry
the Sunday outfits, the fancy hats and the chocolate candy
but Christians love Easter for what it truly represents
it's the Resurrection day of Jesus the Christ our salvation present
it's a time to reap the benefits for the victory we won
when high on a cross at Mt. Calvary a sacrifice was done

yet many forget the significance of the Sunday of the Palms
when on an untamed colt Jesus the Christ rode in on
humbly riding on the back of a service domestic beast
He came to serve, support and sacrifice for the least
God had need of that donkey at that appointed hour
like He has need of each of us to be the manifestation of His power
God will use anything when it comes to achieving His goals
be it a person, place or thing it's He who is in control

to serve God's purpose that is our true mission in life
to do whatever He requires of us in the name of Jesus the Christ
but more often than not we're tied up with earthly things
but God will find the means to cut away those binding strings
God will send something or someone to help you break free
just have the spirit of discernment that it's not coming from the Adversary

now those who witnessed Jesus' triumphant display
laid clothing and leaves of palm on the ground to pave His way
crying Hosanna to the highest blessed is He
the Son of Man who came to give us life abundantly
stripping off their mantles and cloaks of society
laying bare their faith for all the world to see
trusting and receiving
in the Messiah they're believing
crying Hosanna, Hosanna blessed is He
the Prince of Peace who came to serve and save you and me

The Pain and the Agony

The Pain and the Agony The Pain and the Agony Jesus felt that day; It tortured His being; Death held no delay. Even to take a breath The pain was so extreme; The sins of us all, Crushed him beam to beam. The cross of the Romans; Built to inflict much pain. The pain of our sin-bearer Was suffered for our gain. Because He truly loves us, He was prepared to die. Stricken on the cross, Few heard His agonizing cry! The cross was one of victory— Victory over death, When Christ gave up the Spirit; Breathed His last breath. Satan in his ignorance Thought he’d finally won; Didn’t know this was just the beginning; New life would be given God's only Son. The Pain and the Agony; Blood was shed for you and me. This ultimate sacrifice God gave to set us free; Freedom from the bondage Of sin that Satan brought, Upon a sinless Eden, To bring us sin's onslaught. ONCE AGAIN THANK YOU

I was just trying to remember the past
trying to remember the good people
 and the bad people,
that i came across on my way,

i want you to know
that you are among the good people
that left a good trace in my life,

once again i just want to say thank you
for passing through my life,
is so short but is wonderful
i want you here forever.

True Meaning of Easter Time--and Day

Easter Time... and day...
This is shown in many ways
Some celebrate it... by an Easter bunny
Tis funny
How the world man-made...
To distract Our Lord's Day

True meaning of Easter Time and Day
Tis God made a way... For all of Us to be Saved

Tis the day.. Our Lord and Savior
Was Crucified.. On the Cross
Nails driven in both hands and feet
Blood dripped down.. From thorns of a crown
That the soldiers placed on His head
They killed Our Lord.. Sword threw His side
Yes.. Our Precious Lord.. Jesus died..

Then the Earth Shook
Moment Jesus took
All our sins-suffering- disease -pain-away
Then three days
Our Beautiful Savior Raised
Jesus Our Divine Christ
Raised up from the dead
Save Our Souls... giving Eternal Life

Resurrected... for us to become redeemed from our sins
We have the opportunity to become Born-again
All God asks... of us is to believe
What His Only Begotten Son... had done
To whomsoever believes shall not perish
But have Everlasting Life
With Our Savior Jesus Christ
Live in Eternity... Forever

As we know... this world shall pass away
But Our Savior Shall Live on Forever

The ways of this world
Don't want anyone to know
The Truth... in Easter Time... Day...
For Tis then those whom has eyes to see
Hearts to believe...
Shall become saved... Born-again
Their Souls then... Live Eternally with Him
Jesus Christ... Our Divine King

Come to Jesus
While there is still time

Ascension

His spirit took flight

Like a snowy white dove

With the sun on its wings.

It flew toward the clouds

And disappeared

Leaving only a breath of

Wonder in its wake.

The Unknown Gardener

“I’m the unknown gardener my name is mentioned in the bible, but no one need honor me.
Just a pauper, I was in the garden that day, but my only contribution to grace works was filthy
rags.

Hearing a rumbling it seemed from deep inside the ground, I looked toward a tomb which had a
huge stone place over it’s mouth. As I looked I saw a steady lighting flashing, so bright it
dimmed my sight, emitting from the tomb around the rock’s edges.

The lighting stopped as suddenly as it had began, as once more I heard a scrubbing noise and
saw two celestial beings in shining apparel, as they rolled the huge stone away from the mouth
of the sepulcher. I was amazed, made weak in the knees, my countenance was overcome.

One of the celestial being said, “Fear not I am Michael, the archangel, I came to attend the
Master. This day thou also hath somewhat to offer unto him.” I wondered, amazed within myself
as I pondered in my feeble mind, ‘What on earth could a meager pauper have of worth to
give!’

A beautiful being stepped forth from the tomb, such the like I have never before seen or after!
When he spoke his voice was as the sound of many waters, such as a gently rushing water
fall. He said, “Behold I am the first, and the last, I was alive and was dead, and now I am alive
for evermore. It is finished!”…The two angels, I saw no more.

“Thy name is called Ishmael, born after the flesh, I have heard thy afflictions. This day it
behooves thee to be a signet necessity of my Father’s will, representing all of mankind,
for their righteousness of concepts be as fifty rags. Give unto me thy clothes and I will
cleans them for thy are metaphoric of the fleshly unrighteousness of all humankind.”

I gave him my clothes and I understood not, but I felt amazingly clean. He clothed
himself with my clothes and said, “Remember this day, for flesh will prophesy this truth in the
last days. In an inspirational writing that I will give thee utterance to write. You will entitle
it, ‘The Unknown Gardener’ then you will understand the signet!”

With this, He vanished from my presence. This same day has became know as Easter morning, the day of resurrection.
And the fleshly concepts of sin as the casting off of filthy rags! My natural senses returned and I arose from the vision.
I was astonished for seven days. At the end of which I wrote the understanding of the vision. This is what Easter means to me!
                               Selah!!

What Easter Means to Me

What Easter Means to Me! I think about what Easter means to me. There’s message that I hope you’ll see. There is a truth, a purpose for believing. But too often, it’s lost it’s true meaning! In this society, there tends to be a habit. Of comparing Easter with the bunny rabbit. There’s chocolate, candy and eggs in the store. As people come back, looking for more. There’s a message of God he wants to tell you. A message a life. Don’t let others fool you! A new life in Jesus, can be yours for the asking. An abundance of HIS love and life everlasting! HE is alive! He arose from the dead! His message of life eternal will forever be said! His gifts of love and mercy is for all to receive. He stands at your hearts door. Won’t you believe? What Easter means, is that Jesus is risen! This day… You can be cleansed and forgiven! Won’t you allow HIS message to touch your soul? The risen Jesus can make you whole! Let’s proclaim God’s message and make it clear! Jesus Christ is alive today! He is right HERE! The tomb is empty! The stone is rolled away! This is God’s time! The Lord’s resurrection day! Fall's Begining

Fall's Beginning
Written by:
Sara Kendrick

The Easter dresses strown across morn's sky
Crinolines on horizon with gown
Early zephry cool and air wrung dry
The Easter dresses strown across morn's sky
A start to a wonderful day birds cry
Leaves in places now caramel brown
The Easter dresses strown across morn's sky
Crinolines on horizon with gown

by~Poet Destroyer

We walk the green fern garden range!
We sit and stare and tease our eyes!
Emotions flow with my Easter dress so strange;
Easter morn vocals came within range!
We're dancing, like leaves that rearrange!
I twirl my gown to fly with the skies.
Angel dust travels swiftly in the open range.
Clouds fall so vividly on my gown like crinolines disguise!

What Easter Means to Me

A life predestined, foretold by prophets-
Jesus’ fate was sealed: sacrificed life
that we could have the same everlasting.
Betrayed by a kiss for silver pieces,
three times denied by Peter – ‘don’t know him!’
Enemies awaited in the Garden,
abused and scorned and accused of blasphemy.
Sent to Pilate who questioned – ‘he’s done no crime!’
Crowd cried crucify him! - Pilate soon appeased.
Scourged till bloody, excruciating pain –
nailed to a cross through feet and hands
liked a common criminal though not guilty.
Passers-by ridiculed, shouted insults.
He called ‘Father, why have you forsaken me?’
Prayed for his tormentors, a robber, too.
Darkness descended midday, like midnight –
foreshadowing Jesus’ death impending –
catalyst – Redeemer of human life.
Three agonizing hours passed: Jesus cried
‘into Thy hands, I commit my spirit’ then died.
A spear pierced His side – blood and water flowed
washes away all our sins eternally.

Sunrise Sonnet

I stand upon our Makakilo hill
And gaze toward the valley calm and still.
The brilliant sun will soon be rising high
Morphing rays of gold in the twilight sky.

The clouds are rimmed in light as Sol ascends.
Another day in paradise begins—
As birds begin their chorus in the trees
Our flag waves softly in Hawaiian breeze.

A floral scent embraces humid air
Of heaven's divine fragrance sweet and fair.
I love to rise before the dawn each day
Enriched by nature's wonders as I pray.

I see the good in all mankind and know
That peace will come to nations as we grow.

A Perfect Day

Friday had been the saddest day
That my young life had ever known
The loneliness that my heart felt
Just would not leave me alone

The clouds that filled the afternoon
With their darkness and their dread
Left remorseful feelings alive inside
Along with feelings that seemed so dead

On Saturday when I did awaken
My world was much worse it seemed
For the gloom and darkness it embraced
Left my mind aloof in sad daydreams

Of what my eyes had seen to transpire
On that dark, cold Friday afternoon
I only prayed and hope what was written
Would come to fruition so very soon

As the last twenty four hours ticked away
The hope in my heart did begin to rise
For it began to beat so steady again
Waiting for the prophesied moment to arrive

But many in the room praying around me
Saw their faith begin to slip and fade
Not believing that what was happening
Would be much more than just another day

My heart awaiting the time to come closer
Anticipating the joy it would soon receive
Felt the rhythms of the approaching moment
For deep within it never failed to believe

I heard the most beautiful enchanting melodies
Embracing me from deep within His tomb
And upon hearing the hearty voices of angels
I sensed He would be rising so very soon

And the last twenty four hours did finally end
Sweeping my sadness and loneliness away
Replacing it with pure joy, and happiness
For He rose from the grave on a perfect day.

The True Meaning of Easter

The True Meaning of Easter! The true meaning of the Easter story, Is God’s Son came down to Earth from glory. Jesus really does love you and me. He was born to die that you might be free. For 33 years, he lived among sinful men. Then one day was to be an atonement for our sin. He who was born of the virgin Mary’s womb. Was to one day rise again from an empty tomb. So many people today have gotten into a bad habit, of replacing Jesus with the bunny rabbit. So please reach out to others and let them know, Of the lover and redeemer of their soul. The true meaning of Easter must forever be said. Of God’s son who died, but arose from the dead! By Jim Pemberton

THE MEANING OF EASTER

Chocolate bunnies and Easter eggs,
Fluffy chicks and lambs at play,
The spring of the year is a beautiful time,
And we celebrate as the time draws nigh,

To remember the reason for all our good cheer;
For now is the time The Resurrection draws near.
We celebrate Jesus who conquered the foe,
Of Sin and Death and delivered our souls,

Up from the abyss where we languished in wait,
Beneath the burden of unspeakable hate.
He marched into Hell and in triumph brought out,
All who are His and they came with a shout;

Victory is ours because Jesus lives,
He's salvaged our souls and He's cleansed and forgives,
All who will come to Him, on us He bestows,
A robe of His Righteousnesss as it was foretold!

We honor the Sacrifice made by Father and Son,
And we honor the love that redeemed us as one.
We celebrate the Victory won over our foe.
We celebrate Jesus, our Conquering Hero.

                                                             Judy Ball

"BUT I AM TELLING YOU THIS STRANGE AND WONDERFUL SECRET;
WE SHALL NOT ALL DIE, BUT WE SHALL ALL BE GIVEN NEW BODIES.
IT WILL ALL HAPPEN IN A MOMENT, IN THE TWINKLING OF AN EYE, WHEN THE TRUMPET IS BLOWN; FOR THERE WILL BE A TRUMPET BLAST FROM THE SKY AND ALL CHRISTIANS WHO HAVE DIED WILL COME ALIVE WITH NEW BODIES THAT WILL NEVER DIE.
AND THEN WE WHO ARE STILL ALIVE WILL SUDDENLY HAVE NEW BODIES TOO FOR OUR EARTHLY BODIES WE HAVE NOW THAT CAN DIE MUST BE TRANSFORMED INTO HEAVENLY BODIES THAT CAN NOT PERISH . WHEN THAT HAPPENS THEN AT LAST THIS SCRIPTURE WILL COME TRUE,"DEATH IS SWALLOWED UP IN VICTORY. O DEATH WHERE IS THY VICTORY? WHERE IS THY STING? FOR SIN, THE STING THAT CAUSES DEATH IS GONE AND THE LAW WHICH REVEALS OUR SIN WILL NO LONGER BE OUR JUDGE. HOW WE THANK GOD FOR ALL OF THIS. IT IS HE WHO MAKES US VICTORIOUS THROUGH JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD.

What Easter Means To Me

__________________________________________

As spring joyfully arrives
brilliant blue skies and vast green fields come to life

peering from the rich soil
an Easter Lily opens with beauty

with large white trumpet shaped flowers
and gracious green stems climbing high

the music of the lords returned began to blow
streaming far and wide

a celebration had begun
a celebration of eternal life

I gaze at the cross in deep loving thought
as each miraculous miracle came to light

O' Lord God Almighty
this day brings gratitude and thanksgiving
for you..... staying faithful to the point of death
and giving your life, so that each may dwell divine

I thank you Lord
I thank you

peering from the rich soil
an Easter Lily sings praise

THE EASTER EGG

At the end of the Easter Rainbow colors
Stream into cups of liquid magic, transformations
Dipping spoons lie not idle long, for tiny eager hands,
Beguiling the white eggs of wonder, to be displayed
After creating their individual masterpieces.
Art, art in a dip, dip, dipping cup, inspirations
Palate array, shall it never runith over, for creativity
Rules in this holiday traditionary fun in a cup activity,
Release those spoons, here kids rule,
And grown-ups drool, with salt shakers ready at
Hand, for mistakes to be taken care of later.
Tiny tots of wonder with their eyes set a glow
With the magical splendor, proudly plop, and
Drop these white shelled cylinders into the
Hot pooling water of inspirational color.
Hip-hop it’s the Easter egg drop, plop,
Flop what a messy, yet holiday affair,
As children across the world’s nations
Take this inspirational tradition to a new
Level of artistic perfection.
Oh Mr. Peter Cottontail, it’s now time for
Your sacred part of this eggy holiday, the
Hunt to the jump, to find these golden
Treasures of childish fun.
Now as the house hold children sleep,
A wee little bunny does so creep, along
The white picketed fences, lining the village
Lanes outside our doors and venues.
Bless his ears and whickers, what a funny
Little fellow he is, this Easter bunny whom
Carriers his sacred basket of wondrous
Delectable delights, for all the small children
Of the world to share, on Easter Mornings
Happiest of holidays.
HAPPY EASTER to all, and may your
Fantasies of Easter candies fulfillment
Come true for everyone, at this tastiest
Time of year ever, but please remember
Don’t step on that forgotten egg, hidden
In the hallway, OOPS, I think Mr. Cottontail
Forgot one, lol!!!

The Blood Of JESUS

The Blood of Jesus saved my soul
The Blood of Jesus
Made me whole.

The Blood of Jesus is
The means by which
I have become truly Rich.
I speak not of mere material things
But the Hope of Glory which it brings.

As we think of His Blood,
Let us not forget the Man,
Nor fail to realize that He has
A Master Plan.

For us He has made the Ultimate Sacrifice,
And now, it is only fair for us to give him
Our lives.

There really is no doubt about it,
He is in control,
And He also has the power
To make you whole.

So won’t you seek him out
Today?
He is sure to set your life
On the upward way.

A walk to the Cross

When Jesus walked to Calvary,
He fell many times along the way,
His heavy load caused Him to stumble,
Are we too proud to be so humble?

Our life is our walk to Calvary,
We also will fall along the way,
Our load is worry, fear and hate,
Do we deserve to reach the Golden Gate?

All His life Jesus did nought but good,
We would do the same if only we could,
If only we could embrace His way,
Our faith would grow stronger each passing day.

For forty days in the wilderness,
Satan watched to see Him transgress,
He never did, to His Father he was true,
Oh; this could happen to me and to you.

God loves us so much, that He gave up His son,
Who died for us in a terrible way,
Our sins, on His back, he bore that day,
God couldn't watch, He turned away.

Jesus died and was laid in a tomb of stone,
For three days He lay there but not alone,
Angels watched o'er Him day and night
On the third day the stone was rolled away.

Jesus was risen on that Easter morn'
His grave clothes were left for all to see,
Death was defeated and Satan cried,
I have been beaten, my prize denied.

What Jesus did all those centuries past,
Was to set us free from his clutches at last.
Now we can live our lives the Jesus way,
The Cross stands forever, pointing the way.

Now, Satan can test us, try all he might,
But Jesus protects us, both day and night,
Satan will always be there on our shoulder,
But Jesus' love just makes us bolder.

I don't know about you, but as for me,
I'll take my walk to Calvary,
I'll bear the scars of Satan's attack,
But I'll be ready when Jesus comes back.

Easter Day

Easter is glorious day,
Not only to enjoy,
The candy and Easter egg hunt,
But a day,
To rejoice,
In the Lord's resurrection,
Where He gave us,
His life,
To save us from our sins,
Which we all should remember,
And charish,
Each and everyday,
Of our precious lives,
In this world,
That His Father created,
For us all to live,
And gave us a choice,
Between right from wrong,
Which is not always easy,
But if we always turn,
To the Father and the Son,
We will always find,
Them by our side,
Carrying us along the way.

I Believe

As for the origin of holidays, I'm definitely not very smart.
I am a Catholic Christian, speaking simply from my heart.

Concerning Christmas and Easter, we have been doubly blessed.
We have experienced the great Love of God made manifest!

Christmas is the holiday that celebrates our Savior's birth,
The day God chose to send His Perfect Love to earth!

On Easter we remember the gift of His life, death, and resurrection.
We wait with hope in His return, with His Holy Spirit our connection!

As our Blessed Mother Teresa shared concerning love for God,
Be faithful in your service to Him wherever you may trod.

Whether you are Hindu, Christian, Muslim, or Jew,
The Creator of us all holds us with His Love so true!

What Easter Means to Me

kids with clothes as bright as sun
eggs and chocolate lots of fun
but Easter means much more to me
then all of this frivolity

we condemned cursed sentenced Him
we scourged spit hung Him to a limb
our sins hung nailed Him to a tree
now there is life for you and me

He gave pure love from heaven above
laid down His life this beautiful dove
because He chose the tree you see
you and i can now be free

He did not cry He did not groan
He knew three days He rolls the stone
He did it one time for eternity
conquered death for love for all you see

we no longer hunger no longer thirst
because His love removed the curse
He does not follow He takes the lead
Rejoice, Rejoice, HE IS RISEN INDEED!

Our Hope For Eternity

OUR HOPE FOR ETERNITY

Born a babe in Bethlehem
He grew to be a Man
He preached man's iniquity to them
In fury, they devised a plan

They watched Him heal the lame
And were amazed as He raised the dead
Upset as by the multitudes they came
As by the thousands, they were fed

Their anger grew until the day
A traitor, one of His own
Decided that he would gladly betray
Because his greed had grown

So for thirty pieces of silver
He gave Jesus into their hands
With a kiss, he chose to deliver
The Son of God – the Son of man

He was crucified, dead and buried
The third day, He triumphantly rose
One day we'll all be carried
To join Him because we chose

To believe in Him as Savior
As proclaimed in God's own Word
To live with Him forever
I pray that you have heard

How He'll come for us in glory
To live with Him in splendor above
So tell others the wondrous story
Of Jesus and His love

That others on this Easter morning
May know Him as we do
So they too will have the joy of joining
In eternity with me and with you

I Hear the Bells, I Hear the Bells

I hear the Bells, I hear the Bells
At morning, noon and night each day
They are a reminder of the time
A reminder of past days.

And I think to myself over the years
How many others have used them as I do
to also keep the time
To remember things as I do.

A time to worship, a time to eat
A time to marry, a time to meet
A time to put loved ones in the the ground
A time to let them take their leave.

These bells have many voices
Some happy and some filled with grief.
They resonate with me and in me always
I can still hear some of them in my sleep.

I can still hear the Bells of Christmas morn
Little children's faces filled with glee
I can still hear the Bells of Easter morn
Christ's resurrection paid our fees.

I can hear their sounds for when my children were born
A proud parent of a new family
A family that had numbered two
But was now happily three.

I can hear the Bells of Sunday worship
Ringing every Sunday morn
Celebrating God's awesome forgiveness
Celebrating the day that his son was born.

I can hear the Bells from loved one's funerals
As we lay their bodies to rest
Never ever wanting to say earthly goodbyes
Just trying to live through the sad day and do our best.

These bells are part of my daily life
They always have been and will continue to be
The Heralds of life's brief ticking clock
Unlike life, they will always continue to ring and to be.

I will use them to mark my moments
Both significant and mundane.
I will use them to always remember
To love my God and my church in every way.

I will use them to remember my family
I will use them to remember those friends I love
To be grateful for each of my children
To be grateful for just having had been.

I will use them to be grateful for all of the things in my life
To be grateful for all of those I love
To be grateful for each of my earthly days
To be grateful for the heavens above.

Death, Hell and the Grave Defeated

Death, Hell and the Grave Defeated "I will ransom them from the power of the grave ; I will redeem them from death. Where, O death, are your plagues? Where, O grave, is your destruction?" Hos 13:14 NIV Death, hell and the grave Were defeated at the cross, Although Christ's life appeared a failure; No possible gain just loss. This is where death lost its victory; Resurrection made possible. Just as Christ was resurrected; Called forth by God’s heavenly angel. Christ raised not a hand to resist The evil powers at his side. Without His total surrender, Death’s grave would forever reside. The cross was perceived as failure, But it was victory instead. For that was the world's perception Of our Savior’s bloodshed. Death, hell and the grave Have been defeated for some time. Although death persists, The righteous find their Spring time. Christ will soon come To call them from their graves; Take them home to heaven; Where sin no more enslaves. A Poem For You

Everytime I bring forth your image
From deep within the well of my mind
My heart begins shedding joyous tears
For your beautiful love that's mine

I can never escape feeling all the emotions
For they seem to overwhelm me each day
But just like the very first time I embraced you
The raging passion of my love will always stay

I was blessed the day you embraced me
That first moment you became my friend
And ever since your spirit held me close
My life changed as I was truly born again

You have never forsaken me a single day
Of the spiritual things which in life I need
And I love those very special moments
When your living word we together read

While I lift up my song of sweet love to you
Your daily showers of heaven's joy begins
I humbly thank you for giving your life's blood
A perfect Easter sacrifice to forgive all our sins.
