A January Night

Frost feathers pattern
the windowpane in this room.
a cold night ahead.

Blue Eyes

The rain patters down
Sending goose bumps across flesh
My blue lips are numb

Her azure eyes shine
Like crystals catching the sun
Even in this rain

 My hide is soaked
It is on the line for her
The cold bite goes numb

Drawn in my jacket
Her eyes beaming at me
Blue eyed paradise.

From my porch
Wrap up with extreme-cold weather clothing
The January sun bathes weakly through the early morning grounds
I seek alone by such astonished far-fat mountain-side
When some dared rabbits at burrow doorway gazing
Like a thief at the overheated clouds!

red orchard aflame

red orchard aflame winter's angular sunshine... peach tree buds explode
Some of the peach orchards look like a flame with the buds swelling 'pon the trees
