While You Sleep

While you sleep I tell you all of the things I keep inside throughout day.
Now that you can hear but not listen I find them much easier to say.
My hopes, my dreams, my fears, and everything in between
Your subconscious hears so keen, or so it seems.
My tongue is soft; I speak so sweetly
Knowing your reaction will never greet me.

Tonight will be different in what I want you to know.
It has everything to do with what I can’t help but show.
I hold no claim to any religion but you’ve given me a place for my faith.
Somewhere it will never stale or lose its lavish taste.
You’ve shown me something I can see, touch, and feel,
And so before it I choose to kneel.

I know I don’t say it but I miss you every day.
Sitting, thinking of the perfect words to be my choice,
Yet when you call I can’t find any of the right words to say.
I’m just happy to finally hear your voice.
Even just a moment is enough to sooth my heavy heart;
Fearing the ends of conversations knowing we’ll have to part.

I’ll never be too far from you, always within arm’s reach,
And in your days of darkness I’ll be the light that you will seek.
I’ll never let you leave too far from me, I’ll stay close behind you in this world;
Secretly protecting what is mine, you will always be my girl.
I only want the best for you so the best of me I will employ.
Faithfully yours, I will always be your boy.

I close my eyes and kiss your soft sweet lips
And see the very best of you in loving bliss.
I see past the physical which makes you attractive
And focus on the things I can’t see in which I’m attracted.
Your thoughts I’d love to hear them all.
Of the things you speak disinterest never makes its call.

My day will come, I know someday I’ll be the only one.
And you I will pursue viciously,
Because I’ve given you the greatest gift I can give, to love unconditionally.
Yes our day will come, I know someday we’ll be as one.
And you I will pursue viciously,
Because I’ve given you the greatest gift I can give… to love unconditionally.

Ever Turning Circle

In winter’s white, as angels cry
for early spring to warm the wind,
to bring to life with gentle sigh,
in love, the bitter frost has thinned.

For early spring to warm the wind,
at Valentine’s romantic calls,
in love, the bitter frost has thinned,
where dancers twirl amid stone walls.

At Valentine’s romantic calls,
rebirth of nature’s light divine,
where dancers twirl amid stone walls,
and blossoms pastel shades recline.

Rebirth of nature’s light divine,
when day equals the hours of night,
and blossoms pastel shades recline,
to hail the queen of May in light.

When day equals the hours of night,
a summer’s sun will come to play,
to hail the queen of May in light,
we chant and sing along the way.

A summer’s sun will come to play,
so life can grow as gods decreed,
we chant and sing along the way,
with warmth and light our hunger feed.

So life can grow as gods decreed,
the rays of sun on seeds we’ve sown,
with warmth and light our hunger feed,
the wealth of harvest is our own.

The rays of sun on seeds we’ve sown,
in autumn breeze that chills the heat,
the wealth of harvest is our own,
as gold and red belies our feet.

In autumn breeze that chills the heat,
a year that ends with blessed Samhain,
as gold and red belies our feet,
the call of Ancient’s name to reign.

A year that ends with blessed Samhain,
to bring to life with gentle sigh,
the call of Ancient’s name to reign,
in winter’s white, as angels cry.

A Beautiful Reverie

Here I lie beside you
My heart goes thump.thump.thump.
My soul dances inside you
Reveling in the texture of your own.
Electric and flowing
The currents of our love
Glow like neon lights
Illuminating the hope in my eyes.
Though we're not moving
I feel so incredibly alive
Invincible to my past
Untouchable by all who lack
That gentle touch of when
You lean in and brush my face
Your lips grazing my skin
Softer than a butterfly.
And then you gaze into my eyes
I fall into your depths
Twirling like the autumn leaves
Melting into your smile
Your soul reminiscent of summer.
You pull me into your arms
And for a moment I'm lost
Breathless and in awe
Staring in the face of pure exquisite love
And there you are - holding it
Glowing in the moonlight of my stare.
My heart beats - its drum pounding away
Echoing a song thats lost its words
I touch your cheek and smile
My hands cant stay away
My lips s l o w l y, draw near yours
Hovering, and then -
Part, a soft warmth against them.
My eye lids pulling shut
Dragging me into a silent heaven
I pull away - and what seemed millennia
Lasted only a moment, a second in time
But this is our love
This is what you do to me
You make me invincible and fragile
Lost forever in a beautiful reverie.

Kunzite

It is 2012 within the season of autumn in that year.
Humankind knows not whether to be sad or cheer.
A new sphere arrived; they call it planet kunzite.
In an orbit opposite of earth, aligned perfectly right.
Was it our doom, or salvation we awaited a sign.
Upon the next moon, our answer came so divine.
Planet kunzite was to be our new home to live.
To go in peace and harmony with only love to give,
No more wars or anger for any human to spread,
In the stars surrounding, words are there to be read.
Kunzite a jewel for everyone, especially new born,
So upon each morning a new greeting shall adorn.

Seasons of Life

As spring brings life to all that sleep
Spirit, body and mind renew
Joy reflects in bursts of blossoms
Heralding new birth to God’s creation
As man and nature journey as one
In a dance of celebration
Hope reborn in all that live

As the summer of life screeches by
Visitors invited, welcome to share
Love, laughter, living and dying
Soon comes bittersweet joy of liberation
Knocking, bearing gift of freedom
As mountains rise along the way

As the autumn of life drifts in
The lights of my eyes will grow dim
Yet the hummingbird still sings
Joy of my vision, my rock
Through light of day or darkest night
Like a child I trust, I sleep

As the winter of life arrives
When my tresses turn white as snow
With the sound of my voice just a whisper
Though shallow breath, my prayers ascend
To the joy of my salvation
Just beyond invisible gates
I will in quiet adoration kneel

Sonnet I : Ink and nothing else

Freedom differs on how each men define it,
like the love of autumn or cold of winter.
Vast it may be but meaning is implicit,
so vast that no soul can ever hinder.

I define liberty as a pen and paper.
Mere it is , but my understanding is sure.
What is simple for you, to me strikes deeper.
Thin a paper be , but it lasts to endure.

The glory of ink is immeasurable,
for a tender soul of mine to comprehend.
Though age has numbers, I am an example,
of a generation's hope for we to ascend.

May the world be courageous to project art.
Like this sonnet , this is where I start.

Awakening ...

Reaching hands
fingertips touching
Clasping.
      Finally.

Pull me down
to golden depths of you
where quiet awaits in breathless peaceful.
Wrap your broken mind around my
grateful soul
and hear the healing songs of
God’s spirit ....
hummingbird wings as they kiss your cheek
     spring breezes through autumn pines
      incoming tide in twilight sleep
      winter’s first snowfall ~

open your eyes
remember mine
and
    take my hand ...

Sweetly Fragrant

Sitting under the pale pink running rose
At the end of a beautiful Autumn Day
Searching for inspirational sonnet to compose
For my love who lives in heaven's way

To me He's like a honeysuckle vine
Blooming in the month of May
Sweetly fragrant essence among the pines
He's like the gold of mountains that's refine

To me He's like the babbling brook
Sweetly singing in tune
For everything in heaven He forsook
Fo prove His love for me is beyond the moon

Words cannot describe my love for Him
But daily I'll try to draw close in His realm

I am Jacob

Not now the Egypt of my death for I
Have not seen my Bethel yet, nor have I
The coat of many colors made, let me meet
First the soft Rachel of my enslaved years
My heart for her cannot yield to defeat
No Esau can assault my love with fears
Bend me only fore the God of the sky
Bow me to meet his boundless sovereign eye.

Then I shall rise my new name a crown for kings
And bring that boy to bulwark mortal joy
In this Canaan, hear now my Rachel sings
Fox wit and grace, and love without alloy
I am Jacob, heir to the promise of God
Not yet to Egypt desolate I trod.
                   ii
Look now this sky, more blue than all I know
Taste this water, how calm the rivers go
Feel now this peace, the angels singing slow
And yet all these hours like a prison seem
Like solid bars around my silent dream.
It is not for heaven yet I toil today
My treasures I lay in love, and toil still
Till my bright Rachel heeds and come away,
Only my longing shackles here my will.

How then met I her soft moon's loveliness
First amidst the thirsty creatures, I am
Jacob, I see His will, his plan to bless
If I be steadfast, and trust in the Lamb
                   iii
I am Jacob, let me yearn, time's tame bars
Shall not my spirit's wings detain. Let toil
Not think it's too hard for me, I keep stars
In my loins to light my hope. Dreams recoil
Where love pushes me; my Rachel will be
Mine. This prison then of Laban's folly
Shall not crush my faith, in chains, yet I'm free
For grace my ransom paid. You may tally
Time in seconds brief, my God tallies it
In years. I am Jacob, soar my spirit
Now away, on angels ladder let me stay
Till Rachel brings anew my autumn day
For I shall claim atonement's jubilee
When her arms are wrapped tightly around me.
                 iv
Come now, my Rachel, give me jar and string
Let me from the deep well draw, let me bring
Cool as praise the water up, I'm Jacob
Sit here awhile, and with your servant sup.
Fairer art thou than Esau's riches now
Better than Isaac's legacy that I stole
For you the labor of my life I vow
More precious than Laban's cattle or gold.
How beautiful thy face, thy dove's eyes shine
Brimming my darkness with sweet stars and moon
Surely you are that bride, that gift divine
You are my soul's Eden abloom in June
Come now, Rachel, give Jacob jar and string
I claim you a kingdom for God my king.

You Were Always There

As I headed down that highway, running from my dreams
Wondering why I never stopped to take the chance
Living on the edge keeps you moving constantly
But there comes a time you have to learn to dance.

Life is what you make it, so give it all you got
Go out and have some fun and raise some hell
Tomorrow will become yesterday and not return again
You can't win the race by standing at the well.

Looking back at all the times I've tried and always seemed to fail
Wondering why God ever put me on this earth
Then realizing the challenges always made me stronger
And I've been given a whole lot more than I was worth.

Now in the Autumn of my years, thinking back to days of glory
I stop and say a silent prayer
I've been to the mountains and valleys, oceans and plains
When I needed You, Lord, You were always there.

MY NEIGHBOR

I will build my house in the corner field,
And the woodline will be my border.
To my axe and hammer the trees will yield
As I put logs and planks in order.

I will build my chimney with the stones
That I dig up from the earth.
I will stack them high with grunts and groans,
And lay them side by side for my hearth.

I will till the ground and plant the seeds
That are tomatoes, beans and corn.
I will fish from the pond where smallmouth feed
And pick fresh berries in the morn.

I will count the stars in the summer sky
And store wood for future burning.
I will watch in wonder as deer stroll by,
And take heed of the leaves’ soft turning.

I will gather in the autumn grains
That will see me through ‘til spring.
I will huddle behind my frosted panes
And wait for robins again to sing.

Each night I’ll pray before taking rest
And give thanks for all of my labor,
For my reward is my request –
To have God as my closest neighbor.

Pink Pink Pink

Once in my life, breast cancer, I did not know.
Which was lost, and what would be gained.
I could not see, beyond her glow
Faith and strength carried and remained.
Unfinished things of her dreams come slow
These were not to be lost, our love holds true
Loss of her alluring game would not matter, I did say
In life and love, she is stuck to me with glue
She is more than any loss, which may take away.

Pink in October shapes her autumn sky.
More beautiful now she faces its lie.
Sunshine wakes her in a moonlights lure.
Fighting like a girl, she wins the war.
Dancing as a woman she captures pink ardor.
She is more than a woman, my lady, my love.
Pink, pink, pink color beyond her despair,
Trials and tribulations, rising glow,
She has won her fight; in the pink, breast cancers beware.

Butterfly

I once was like a catipiller young, naive, and new
Always living from my heart not knowing what
else to do.Easy to take advantage of, that is
just the case, people would walk over me
like I was their dirty used up suitcase.
Now I feel a newness coming, like a light
shining from the sky, colors fill my world
and I know I am blooming into a butterfly.
Purple,Pink, Blue and Green I can feel them
flowing through. Colors of the rainbow raising
me into full bloom. Wise and strong I am becoming
My faith leads me where I need to go giving me
insight and wiseness for only me to know.
I have not done this on my own you see
I have been guided by God and Angels
on this Earth. Wise words the wisdom at
it's best comes from a wise lady who
seems to know me best. Lucky, I am
to have her in my life, she always shoots
it straight and tells me like it is, knowing
her words touch my heart and gives me tons of faith..
I feel like flying through the sky or climbing
a tree way up high. I feel like observing the
world just like a brand new butterfly so as I
Bloom I become Anew something unlike the past
Smart and wise beautiful on the inside and outside
a touch of color here a touch of color there
makes me glow and become a beautiful blooming butterfly...

Life's changing seasons...

As my soul nears it's journeyed winter resting place
memories of past seasons are thoughtfully traced
footpaths that were traveled which gladdened my heart
grateful of the spring which gave me my start

Honeyed by the bee's attracted too sweet nectar
strengthened by the breeze of Nature's mentor
sweet song of birds adjoining trickling brook
was an opening to me of an Earthly book

Scripted purpose...symbolic in every sign
my soul's perseverance willingly resigns
to the ebb 'n flow of universal currents
energizing forces resolutely meant

Joyful guidance toward long awaited embrace
opportunity beckons,Heaven's consoling face
as our Earth...the nursery of the soul,
proper attention paid, then reimbursed with gold

Summer's sun producing autumn fruit
bountifully doled from beginning roots
gestures solemnizing eventual union
Spirits agape fulfilling another aeon....

If I Could Talk To God?

If I Could Talk To God?

Well of course I can
I love you Father
Maybe more than my heart shows

When I sit and think about how you love me
How you’ve blessed me with two of the most
Wonderful boys.
I feel how much you love me

You know how much I like to share
So you’ve given me a home with a door that
Swings wide enough to welcome everyone in
And I feel how much you love me

As I ride on a country road and see a crisp blue
Sky with the whitest wisps of clouds painted in
Resting on the multi colored autumn leaves
My joy permeates every part of my being
And I feel how much you love me

When I sit on the fence
And hear the breeze whispering through the trees
The whippoorwill’s song
And the laughter coming from somewhere inside the house
I know how much you love me

God do you know how much I love you
Can I ever show you the way I feel
So perfectly flawed
So needing grace
And yet one day
I will see the glory of your face
And know how much you love me.

Work

Work.
Toil.
The pain I put in the ground.
For such a precious thing.
Corn.
The family enjoys their meal.
They plant their leftover kernels.
And wait for me to tend to them.
Work.
An endless cycle in which happiness is born.

A Homeless Man's Christmas Wish

Christmas day is coming soon
I can hear the little drummer boys beat
As I sleep under a stack of newspapers
At my home here on the street
I have no shade from the summer heat
No shelter from a spring storm
When autumn and winter roll around
I have no blanket to keep me warm
I have no one to talk to
No doctor to keep me well
My life is like the seventh circle
Of an everlasting hell
I have no feast on Thanksgiving
On my birthday, I have no cake
Most nights as I sleep in my concrete bed
I pray and hope I won't wake
I think about the man I used to be
The one that died so long ago
Now all that's left is this scruffy, filthy creature
Who I don't even know
Now that Christmas is here again
I pray to the good Lord above
For a gift that most don't appreciate
Filled with lots of happiness and love
I'm not talking about material things
I can get by without any of that
All I want is a house and a family
Complete with a dog and a cat
I wish every single Christmas season
That my dear, sweet Lord would send me
A beautiful family with warm, smiling faces
Sipping hot chocolate around a Christmas tree
We would have a most amazing feast
A rack of lamb tied up with a bow
Then we would all get bundled up
And go caroling in the snow
Oh, how glorious that would be
To have a family and a few friends
To have people who love me
Even after this life ends
God please hear my prayers
And answer them if you can
Just grant one simple Christmas wish
To this old homeless man

Raindrops Mixed with Tears

Raindrops paint a muted reflection on my front window pane.
Wails come from a thunderous sky; I wipe away my tears again.

The summer sun melts my mask and a still breaking heart.
Raindrops fall cleansing the earth, I resign to make a fresh start.

Violent storms defined my summer, autumn rain renews my soul.
Drops create a clear reflection, a smile and precious life extolled.

Marriage and Love

Marriage gives life to love and love gives life to marriage.

In marriage, love means:
To know in your heart you were meant only for each-other.
To know that Heaven grew you apart and brought you together after the time you were meant to be molded to fit each-other.
To discover what it is to be best friends forever.
To discover what it is to love someone more than yourself.
To discover you are actually only a half and how much you need the other to be complete.
To discover the bonds that form when times get tough.
To discover how much more joy is multiplied when there is someone you love to share it with.
Each day is a day of discovery, a day to build your love, a day to make your bond stronger.

Marriage is:
To together choose one way, not one's own way.
To respect and honor with love the other over oneself or anyone else.
To compromise with each-other but never compromising each-other.
To know you are loved, cherished and needed whether fat or thin, well or ill, chirpy or
grumpy.
To live life's summer, winter, autumn and spring always being there for one another.
To blend as one that over the years you feel as one and speak as one.
To be savored like wine, enriched by the passing of time.
To honor Marriage is to honor its Maker. To commit in marriage is to commit to its Maker.

Return to the Sun

In the dismal fog of an autumn day
My thoughts were as scattered as leaves in wind
I spied her walking, she looked alone
Alone, alone, in the cold afternoon

In utter gloom without a face
There was something compelling that caught my glance
In her stance, as she slowly passed
A kindled sparkle in her eyes
Her ragged clothes, her worn out shoes
Yet still a smile, came shining through
Her figure dark, still carried on
I could not help, but turn around...

I wondered what her story told
What trials and pain, had brought her here?
No place to dwell? My eyes welled up...
So caught in tears like misty rain

I called out "Please, ....what is your name?"
Am I a fool, to chance this game?
How many seasons have waxed and waned
Since last I have confronted face to face
To one who seems so out of place?

I could not pass her on this road
I begged her now to share this load
I had this gift! It was not small....
What good, if I ignored the call?
I may be foolish....but do not care...
I am now compelled to share it all

I witnessed hope, and it was pure,
And I was sure

My money so well spent....I have no doubt
The sun is coming out, a light turned on...
I find my eyes are wet...the chill is gone
She's cried such grateful tears, I taste my own
I owe her more, than she could know

My heart so filled with gratitude
              ..........And I have grown

It Was Always You

It was always you
For love sings thy name
The cool wisp of blushing lips
The chorus of springtime's first kiss
Which my heart still proudly bares
Without refrain

I can still feel your smile
A warmth that spurns
Winter's deepest dire
Shivering fears erased
Imperfections embraced
By the fingertips of faith's fire

It was always you
Who stayed trembling skies
Summer tears lead astray
As jagged nights bled day
The hand of autumn assuaged
For you always held mine
Without refrain

You are the rock
That shields my soul
The mirror time cannot break
Nor I could ever mistake
For being alone

It was always you

free cee IN THE PAST 17 MONTHS I LOST BOTH MY PARENTS this is humbly dedicated to them

IT SEEMS TO ME THAT THE PRIME OF MY PARENY’S LIFE WAS ALMOST
                                        MY ENTIRE LIFE
Did you ever notice that the letters in the word “love” are sequestered inside the word “evolve”?
Because to me that is what love appropriately does
It evolves
It revolves
It solves
And after sixty-plus years together love does,
in many ways,
change its ways of wonderment
and is often altered on a course to sheer contentment
for that is the result of the continuation of a consecrated commitment
an abiding faith that the others faith rests upon the others shoulder
as they grow ever so much older
remembering a time of working hard together to get through the hard times together
that old fishing boat she hated so that became battered and eventually succumbed to the weather
while all the while smiling because each year seemed a bit brighter than the last
and all the joyful events that are now part of a bejeweled and fulfilling past
a past reflected in each partner’s eyes which gaze upon a tribute to dedication
a coupling worthy of adulation
he being content to make her content proves the content of their cohabitation
a union rich with rewards that come in the mail bearing pictures of their first great grandson born
a baby with beauty by an angel at birth besworn………………………
so there they sit sharing a couch and swapping a calliope of memories
he talks of fishing and she of a cool Autumn breeze
as each agrees
sixty-plus years weaves two souls together as tightly as any weaver ever wove a sweater
and for some fated reason the last decade seems somehow, in retrospect, better
well……. not so much better as just plain more comfortable
no surprises, no red flags, and no warnings to heed
just a mutual and spiritual type of need
the need to talk away a partners tears
while knowing that his partner truly hears
and dries her eyes compliantly
to face yet another hardship defiantly
ever eager with a gentle finger to wipe away the wet that it might no longer linger
because these are two who vowed with strength that forever, to them, actually meant forever
through the trials…….. through the riches ……….and through the smiles
but most notably through all the determination together to damn away their fears
Yes……….it seems to me that love evolves ever so softly after sixty-plus years

JOY

As the autumn of life drifts in
The lights of my eyes grow dim
With the joy of my years
Still beside me here
There is not much that I will fear

As the winter of my life arrives
My voice will be just a whisper
With the joy of my salvation
Waiting for me at the station
I will in quiet adoration kneel

In my mind spring will beckon me
The baggage old and beat I'll leave
With the joy of my life just within sight
The constant yearning will cease
As perfect joy will become complete

Survival Of The Fittest

Dropped out of school
At an early age
Lived on the streets
Because, I disgusted my mother
She thought I was a poor example
Of true Christian beliefs
At an early age
She religiously drummed into me
‘blood is thicker than water’
And yet,
Here I am today confused, lonely and hungry
No one protecting me
No friends
No family
No home to go too
Just, peoples eye for an eye,
tooth for a tooth mentality
Praying for the sun to shine
To feel some warmth again!
Sun rays of hope, lighting me up
To live through this darkness without fear
With a heart full of faith
No matter what happens to me, now!
If only I could drink my salty tears
It would sustain me for a lifetime
Your tears are worth nothing, around here
You’re classed as weak and venerable
Only attracting death
Your life worth nothing!
Save me from myself
I am my best friend
I am my worst enemy
My prayers and dreams
Lost in the wind
Blowing around like autumn leaves
The rain washing them away
Down the drain into the sewage
Rolling with the seasons
Year after year
Survival for the fittest!
Surviving on the love
Hidden, inside me
Being my strength and guide
My personal lifeline
In surviving this crazy world
We all live in

For Bruce Springsteen

for bruce springsteen...

it was a rain-swept monsoon day

way back then, so many moons away

when i felt the music strumming in my veins

setting me free like a runaway horse without any reins

you sang of simple truths,

your verse spoke to people just like me

in my lonely, wasted, and desolately quiet night

as you screamed out tragic human wrongs, and of everyone's plight

'bobby jean' spoke to me

of that girl down the street

glimpses of whom, we as innocents would furtively meet

and 'the river' that flowed through my ever-barren heart

led me down further roads of thunder

when slowly i finally learnt that the hardest part was fighting on

and never to surrender

to the hard-luck dreams that were born to run

while i danced in the dark

with memories vivid and stark

even as i whined like that dog who for forever lost his howling bark

and then a 'human touch' came along

and 'better days' seemed real, not just words in a song

and still you sang and swayed and spoke straight into my unseeing eyes

as gardens of secrets were opened, and as your fist punched the skies

in an anger that i too felt and in whose cauldron i too burned

as we saw murder get incorporated, while on its wobbly axis, our fragile world apathetically turned

and then suddenly i was told that i was all grown up

working on a highway of scattered ideals

and absolving myself by sprinkling some coins in a waiting cup

well, after all these years of walking along so many a thorny road

with an armour of your verse covering me, even as i hear them taunt me and even as they continue to goad

but now i can feel myself fading away, into the bleakness of this coming night

just like the ghost of that old tom joad...

passion and persuation

The Illuminating path's Serenade my Vision, The Blindening Rays of faithful horizon leap into me, Our Memories of togetherness clasp me to the loop of life, still I am lusting to cross-over and meet the Chaismatic-End!! After which, our souls will intertwine and remain in enlightened glory forever! Life had been an autumn full of blossoms, My love lay in my arms in unrequited glory, life was a maze of puzzled quotes, the dooming evil recruited you into its gloomy shadows, and i learn't my first chapter about death. DEATH is a slow poison gushing through time and seeping through seconds, Blistering a thousand souls, abandoning a many infants, sucking away the more needed ones, Thwarting pain and inflicting illicit wounds. BUT losing hope means losing "US" At a jerk, our infancy angel crosses over with warmth, And the hallucinating illuminating paths fade away!! And i realize my quest in this unfarthomable journey, TO LIVE,LOVE AND SUCCEED DEATH!!

Emancipation

Emancipation
Unfettered-Set free-
My soul is longing for Home
Where the wild ducks fly to winter
Where I hear the sweet sounds of swans
Calling her chicks to her side on tranquil lakes
That reflect distant snow covered mountain peaks
And shimmering golden trees laugh as they catch autumn sun
A treasury of diamonds glint across waters stirred by the gentle breeze
From air pure as the snow covered peaks that glisten against blue velvet skies
I am free to sing, to laugh, to know, I am fearfully and wonderful made in His image
A child of the KING of KINGS, and I with Angels sing, His adoration and His Praise

The Path is Clear

     All obstacles have
been
      calculated into our plan
Now it seems like the
     path is clear
   We'll walk in green meadows
again
See the waters of a mountain stream
    Take delight in a waterfall
Relax as the autumn sun warms our bones
   The years have passed all
      too quickly
But a note of optimism is in the air
    Shining eyes meet once again
A smile - and a heavy sense of peace comes
The path is clear
We will find our way

Random Thoughts on a Chlly Afternoon Pt. 1

Thanksgiving’s just a few days away. Yet, I feel the sudden need to write down these
random thoughts about Christmas! The weather today brings to life memories of the
season! My favorite holiday season of the year! This chill in the air, the earth-tone autumn
leaves like kites flying so high, tripping over each other as if in a race, the beautiful giant
oaks and elms, with their branches shivering in the cold wind…. Already, I’m picturing a
wonderful, fantasy-like landscape of snow; the whitest fluffy, snow drifts! Catching glimpses
of old bushy tail digging out some buried food, from some time ago. The rising smoke from
chimneys reaching for gray skies, snow-covered roof tops, the unforgettable smell of
homemade bread, baking in Mama’s oven! Then, at close of day come, the brightest
twinkling stars, glistening like diamonds on velvet throw of mid-night blue! And when the
moon shines so bright, you would think it was day... so clear you could see Jupiter if you
look closely! And I imagine how absolutely beautiful God must be!! The most beautiful spirit
there is! A view to die for because such beauty man's heart can not behold and remain in
this flesh!!! For who else would create all this magnificent beauty around us? From the
genuine smile which graces the face of an innocent child emanating from the purest of
hearts, to the single blade of green grass that leans into the wind, daring to stand against
such mighty force which threatens to break huge branches off trees!

You and I

You and I.

You.

Your heart blazed,
with a warmth of spirit,

soothing,

alluring,

soaked in truth.

Your smile burned,
branding me permanently,

gentle,

tender,

enveloping my being.

Your love was complete,
from the depths of your soul,

unsaid,

yet fierce,

bathed in silent knowing.

Your dreams were poetic,
fluttering in the afternoon breeze,
infused with the distilled essence of rhyme.

I.

I squandered your generosity of spirit.

I vainly discarded your priceless poems.

Now I stand,

alone,

empty,

desolate,

wasting away,

rotting inside, day by day.

Wisdom Paints Life

My God above whose wisdom surely shows
When Mother Nature paints her glory grand.
While gilding grass beside the river grows,
The autumn trees with golden leaves, as planned,
Reflect their beauty, clinging reds and yellows.
Rainwater streams her life upon the land.
Beneath the mountain cattle comes to graze.
And thus, without the help of man, life stays.

Driven

The keys rattled gently in his pocket.
Gradual jumps like the ocean,
Peaking with every heart
Or every step.
The music was in sleep
Allowing silence for thought
To contemplate on the sun,
Of this clean, clear October.

He sunk his eyes into the core
Of pale and fresh above,
Ember, his numbed head rocked from
Slow and forced breathing,
Suppressing the smell of deep,
Deep purity
Yet conscious of the high brick wall
Where the wind taps
Like a faded voice sighs through a lost keyhole.

He was greeted distantly
By early-anthem families,
Walking the dogs
Or singing with linked wrists;
Sipping at the last, smoked bowls,
And the circling of the roads.
How they would pass,
With a stranger’s recognition
And mutter as they retreated;
 “His hair is thinning!
His eyes are fixed, like
The bolt in a crossbow.
His arms are depleting
For slow, heavy breathing...
Yet his eyes are fixed.”

And sometimes they pass alone;
A little too close
With their gaze separate.
Their tight coats
And pocket smokes,
While they sway to poisons.
How a smile can turn damp
At the thought of past brothers.
And how a passing car can sigh,
With misunderstood pity.

The lamplight’s warming,
The Gutter dweller’s dawning,
The dented camber’s pouring,
The rugged throat with it’s sweet inhale
For the decisive steps
And the vivid gold Yale.

Dream in encumbered times,
Where the destination is a home to rest.
And you walk a shadow amongst the binds,
That break the folds of your armoured vest.
For my ear is a raven,
For my feet are hooves,
For I make a thousand strides,
Within these tightened shoes,
And my arms are not depleting,
And my slow and heavy breathing,
Is only the product of the season,
And will soon falter for my reason,
And my hair can never thin,
While the lamplights never dim,
And my strides will form the door hinge,
That stands so high across the fringe,
And I find lavender in the bins,

While I...search my empty pockets.

Nerves Gone Wild

Nerves in a jar, my life is a mess
I hurt form this world as my poem suggests
Cut from a rose that smells no more
Healing like a dove thats flown shore to shore
What became of our love thats anybodys guess
We forgot about thinking, now about what comes next

Some of the times I will remember more I will forget
It hurts today tommorrow I will give it my best
My head becomes heavy my mind becomes my nest
What to do with all of the love I have here hidden in my vest
Come to my sences my heart in my hand
I think about all of the things that I can
My now today I understand
I can will you the love to better comprehend
From here I wish you the world
The universe a best
Untill you are willing
The person beside me is only a guest

A Date

Rushing through lusty August towards
A vault of blue, a longing promise.
It is like waiting for the visiting moon,
The day when the silver light shimmies past
My bedroom curtains, and I will look up
And I will feel the burning of the heart.
Mist will pour down from the Sun
And the same mist will fall from my mouth.
I will no longer be in need and
It will all sliver pass me.

Loving touch

Your hands are like sunshine that

warms the inner parts of my soul.

The rays warming my inner being,

keeps me thinking of how the colors

of the flowers are so vibrant and

powerful in their activity.

As the flowers dance in a slight breeze,

the sun gives way to darkness and the night sky embraces the stars so numerous,

so shiny, so many.

As the night fades, the sun warms the day,

The breeze picks up the flowers in a dance, and your hands warm my soul again,

with the rays from the suns warmth and the shadows of the colors show the love inside your touch.

Moon Light Bright

                                                     Moon Light Bright.

                                                Oooh you shine so bright

in every full autumn night without your friend in cite,

that helps you dominate the night sky

                                                with your dens chilling light

which helps me seek my ways throw the hunting mystery of the night,

                                                  without a single flashlight.

Theo I wish on every day and every night

nature can deliver such a beautiful cite... Moon Light Bright.

Autumn Rhapsody

The autumn wind twirled the leaves about and made them dance,

They decorated the sidewalk with their pastel shades,

Greeting the pedestrians as they walked past,

God's miracles continue and there is a divine fresh air,

The songs of nature are heard, geese returning south for the winter,

A clear pond where the ducks swim creating patterns in the water,

Seagulls fly above with their beautiful wings landing on the shores,

Humanity embraces autumn for another year.

                                            NEVER LEFT ASUNDER
TO MY LATE MOM:
Did you ever notice that the letters in the word “love” are sequestered inside the word “evolve”?
Because to me that is what love appropriately does
It evolves
It revolves
It solves
And after sixty-plus years together love does,
in many ways,
change its ways of wonderment
and is often altered on a course to sheer contentment
for that is the result of the continuation of a consecrated commitment
an abiding faith that the other’s faith rests upon the other’s shoulder
as they grow ever so much older
remembering a time of working hard together to get through the hard times together
that old fishing boat she hated so that became battered and eventually succumbed to the weather
while all the while smiling because each year seemed a bit brighter than the last
and all the joyful events that are now part of a bejeweled and fulfilling past
a past reflected in each partner’s eyes which gaze upon a tribute to dedication
a coupling worthy of adulation
he being content to make her content proves the content of their cohabitation
a union rich with rewards that come in the mail bearing pictures of their first great grandson born
a baby with beauty by an angel at birth besworn………………………
so there they sit sharing a couch and swapping a calliope of memories
he talks of fishing and she of a cool Autumn breeze
as each agrees
sixty-plus years weaves two souls together as tightly as any weaver ever wove a sweater
and for some fated reason the last decade seems somehow, in retrospect, better
well……. not so much better as just plain more comfortable
no surprises, no red flags, and no warnings to heed
just a mutual and spiritual type of need
the need to talk away a partners tears
while knowing that his partner truly hears
and dries her eyes compliantly
to face yet another hardship defiantly
ever eager with a gentle finger to wipe away the wet that it might no longer linger
because these are two who vowed with strength that forever, to them, actually meant forever
through the trials…….. through the riches ……….and through the smiles
but most notably through all the determination together to damn away their fears
Yes……….it seems to me that love evolves ever so softly after sixty-plus years

Hidden

The innocent child still crying,
That you nailed up on your wall,
Her tears are freely flowing,
As the autumn leaves do fall.
The wind of time still blowing,
Across the lonely way,
As the soldiers march to battle,
On this bright and sunny day.
I couldn't get the words,
To leave my knotted throat,
I couldn't get my loved ones,
To leave the sinking boat.
I couldn't think the thoughts,
That could protect me from the light,
Couldn't see your beauty,
Hidden in my night.

And now the end is coming,
Riding on the wind,
To blow away illusions,
To blow up everything.

The riders horse is thunder,
The swords are flashing high,
As the angels of destruction
Fall from the darken sky.

A million times I told you,
Whispered in your ear,
A million blessing hidden,
Behind the demons of your fears.

The innocent lamb is bleeding,
As the lightening flashes by,
The autumn leaves still falling,
From the sadness in your eye.

Deep in the Woods

Deep in the woods,

the branches dance in the wind,

wild and free,

Spreading their fragrance for

you and me.

Wild flowers sway,

as the wind try's picking them up,

Their roots planted firmly,

as they flow from side to side,

showing us all their glory,

and our makers touch inside,

shadows follow as they calmly go slow,

Deep in the woods,

time is well known,

as night takes hold,

until the morning,

when light takes control.

Little leaves

Little leaves falling down

floating lightly without sound

Keeping in touch with the wind in time

sheltering plants beneath the ground.

Floating slowly as the breeze picks them up

fading away with seasons divine.

Then looking up to the trees so high

little leaves bloom from the branch

to start again with a new season now

as the flowers bloom and keep all sound

the wind takes control and starts all over again.

Life Is Like

Life is like a warm summer day;
Full of obstacles and delay.
Like is like a summer past;
No single moment will ever last.
Life is like some winter snows;
It has its high points and its lows.
Life is like a winter sky;
Beautiful, until the day you die.
Life is like an autumn wind;
Chilling you through 'til the end.
Life is like an autumn moon;
Foretelling of something coming soon.
Life is like a spring rain;
Giving you something to gain.
Life is like a spring child;
Always smiling, always wild.
Life is short,
So live it tall
And God will see
You through it all.

The Five Seasons

In this autumn of our season how the gold and silver vie
in heart-warming brilliant colour, precious as the days gone by,
though our spring and summer's ended and we walk in given grace,
each seasons owns its treasure, and reveals its hidden place.
A sure and certain promise, dulls what wintertime portends,
There will be another season, and this one’s without end.

How I Long For--

My dreams are falling apart
In Your hands, I pray (for joy), "Take heart!"
You are the stars - searing my
Soul is kneeling to the ground
Trace my future and take wing
Towards the pathway...You find peace
You are an angel in my--

Heart is bleeding soundlessly
Above land...I mourn so sweet
I am the clouds - carrying a
Gallon of grief...release me!
Place me in fields of love and
Forgive me and lift me up
You are the heavens to my--

Heart is beating profoundly
Without Your heart's joyous song
You are the sun - nourishing
My lambs are grazing around,
Roving in fields of splendor,
Enlightening the darkness
You are an apple to my--

Eye is grieving...losing sight
Of Your glory...I feel lost
You are the lake - sparkling with
Delight and Luck! Bring us home!
Grow like a morning glory
In the autumn time, You thrive
You are valuable to my--

Eye is twinkling...praying for
Insight...yearning for Your sight
You are the hills - guiding my
Mind is longing for your mirth--
Restoring peace to my verse,
Sprouting forth grace and freedom
You are the train tracks, bearing--

My train of thought...making my
Steel spirit connect with Yours
You are the valley - between
The mountains guarding us all,
Building strength to fragile bones,
Welcoming a stream of hope
You are my map - lending me

YOUR helping hand I would take
Now, I could take Your challenge
You are like a maze filled with
Mysteries conceal the truth;
I fight with all of my might
And I BEG for Your mercy
To mend my once blissful dreams!

How I long for Your mercy...

Visible Breath

Autumn comes I stand watching the leaves..thinking
The breath leaves my body unseen
But as the mercury drops and as I ponder my place.
I notice all I think all I feel.
Right there on the window before me.
To others it's just a mist caused by cooling or heating or both.
A chilhood whimsical game"oh boy look it's cold"
To me that mist is all, your name , your face, Our time.
I want to wipe it away this physical aberation of all unseen in my heart.
I see it all the pain the love the heartache everything in a small whitish cloud on a simple window.
My hand reaches pauses oh so this is what you look like.
Oh if it was so easy to be done.
The mist fades rapidly with every lonely wasted breath. Making an apperance oh so briefly.
What ever course I take to wipe away or to gently touch the mist.
Would this breath on the window which taunts me so relay back to my damaged soul see its gone you'll be ok now or see how it welcomes your touch?
welcome to the world for all to see.
Hidden by the sun most of the time.
My fingers glide through the vanishing mist, I flash back to your cheek beneath my fingers.
Goodbye my love, goodbye my pain, goodbye to the only proof I have left of you.
But at peace I am.
I know now what I did not before.
Your not invisable your their in my breath.
Kissing the crisp Autumn air with me.
And all I have to do is breath.
And my visible breath will show me all I feel is real as real as the mist on the window

The Apple Tree

A breeze brings a crisp bite to my skin,
the warmth of a soft jacket provides the warmth I need.

Somewhere,
I can hear the sparrows chirping,
Robins singing their songs.
Even Crows screeching, casting small shadows on the day.
I don't even care.

Those shadows won't cross my mind for today,
I want this to be a good day.

I only fought a little uphill,
the grass slightly brown from the Autumn air.

My apple tree of gold, scarlet, and honey hues stood on top of the hill,
with branches stretching for the sun's kiss.

A smile,
a tear from the corner of the eye escaping.

A tire swing gently sways,
giving the reminder of happier, melodious memories.

The tire was weather worn,
and the rope ripe with age,
the tree's youth had fallen to.

Crunchy leaves echo and mask the silence I was seeking for,
the bark was rough under my fingers.

Just like the months have been.

I laid out my patchwork quilt,
and slept the day away in peace.

Easter Is A Special Time

Easter Is A Special Time Easter Is A Special Time; In the Northern hemisphere it’s Spring. A time when baby lambs are born, Yellow daffodils are king. In the Southern hemisphere it’s more like fall; Leaves turn to their Autumn colors; Winter lies just ahead; Just as our Creator orders. Regardless of the seasons, Easter is a time for us to rejoice. It’s the time Christ died and rose again; Of eternity, we were given choice. Christ’s resurrection hope is sure; God promised us redemption; He promised us through his Son, That we could all be forgiven. Although Sunday’s not God’s Sabbath, It’s a special time to celebrate, His love for one lost world; Christ’s resurrection to relate. It gives us hope of a future; Beyond the state of death; The hope of the Second Coming, When he calls to the dead, “Come forth!” Because Easter is a special time, Never let it pass by, Without rejoicing in God’s miracle; Christ’s resurrection upon which we rely. So celebrate this joyous Easter That your sins are forgiven; That God loves you so much, He gave you the hope of heaven. Copyright © 2012 Maureen LeFanue www.maureenlefanue.com

The Power Of Poems

the slightest touch of a hand on your shoulder
the laugh of a child as he plays with his mother
sipping the last drop of golden water
having enough strength to smash a boulder

whispers in the wind that sing a sad song
listen to the heart of a tree
hear it beat along
a scream from a woman as she begs for mercy
mankind runs from their worries

the soft red on an autumn leaf
the sands of time have stopped
don't be scared if your life has ended
cause we give Power to the Poems

as many times I close my immortal chime-street eyelids
I hear the grim echo of the tap shoe reaper shuffling her uncertain deck
in the god forsaken rusty night corridor
of death’s darkbeat door
a waltz, a swing a whirling dervish belly hop bop
pick it..she’ ll be a willing partner when it’s time

Pathway to Peace

Deep longing of the soul
Seeking subtle satisfaction
Wandering through the day,
Plagued with unrest
Chasing the wind
Gliding with autumn leaves
Another year to culminate in gloom?

O searching soul
Rest is prepared for you
A bed of hope to lie in
A field of dreams to harvest from
There is but one way
If you will, I beg you,
Do not stray
The path of peace was made for you
…and marked on Christmas day

In A State of Amnesia Falling Into Fantasia

Your love, like amnesia it made me forget all the dark forces against me they tortured me relentless then you put me into amnesia from the problems, hope came in the foresight of your prowess and the light emanating from your face what seems calm on the surface is often roaring within screaming, hair crazy like I'm the demon's descendant only strong feelings can push out the weak and those skeletons surface, hurt us and repeat so no ones around and I learn to hate me and no Love to be found because it gave me a profound amnesia. waking prematurely every other time I sleep seeking sanctuary why cant I be at peace? fill up a void come into my world exposed to be touched pay no mind I'm at home when the pain seems too much shut it off like a light now i'm all into peace a presence around me a love like amnesia I'm falling into fantasia calm as can be worries drift away forget how hurt I am for one meaningful day no I'm not the devil but I know who he is he once came to visit and make my soul his as a dark ball inside me consumes me at times i keep inching forward toward the many facets of mind knowing not showing much at all down in the sunrise revived by the fall a natural course of a star entering destruction like lotus flowers in bloom under a fog covered moon in the cold autumn wind healing old scars within practice the old magik into a new growing skill will it be enough the day which stands still worth fighting for.

Enigmatic Lane

Enigmatic Lane

This enigmatic lane-
I’ve walked long.
And now I see
Only barren lands,
A mere setting sun,
And a vague horizon.

I turn to look back
Along this enigmatic lane.
And then I see
Those umpteen vicissitudes,
Those sudden meanders,
Those familiar turns,
Those abrupt detours.

Down this enigmatic lane,
There have been
Many a rich meadows,
Many a bleak wastelands,
Millions of pompous marches,
Millions of disconcerting dirges,
Several comforts of love,
Several cruelties of reclusion.

Along this enigmatic lane
I may no longer tread, for-
As I now halt, I ponder-
Perpetuation has always been
The ruse of fleeting phases,
And what worth has it been
To walk this enigmatic lane.

THE UNBOLTED LIGHT

-

  Falling like snowflakes
on webs of forgiveness
spinning through clouds
in the unbolted light
searching so softly
down dark Autumn pathways
hoping to find our way in the night.

Savoring rain on the bowers above us
thunder still rolls 'round the cusp of the dawn
out on the horizon we turn to remember
the loved and the lost
and the ones who go on.

We were so sure
 we made the right choice
but we were young
 and cares were so few
those who would guide us
have gone on before
and left us wondering what to do

God in his mercy
has shown us the way
as we pray to him each night
once we understood
 it all seemed so simply
Just follow his love, in the
UNBOLTED LIGHT

The Tidings of Fall

There a movement in the trees
The goings of an autumn breeze
Tickling leaves of red and gold
Making hot summer into winter cold
And in the air there goes a wisp
Of smoke riding on air so crisp
Of days to come this is a sign
Of seasons change and change in time
For heavy coats and fire bright
New stars to see up in the night
But at this time before the snows
It's falls turn now to put on a show
First one tree and then the next
A show so striking so complex
And looking up the sky so blue
But this is nothing compared to You
A glimpse of Heaven for us to see
A hint to us Your great beauty
But as for now we'll stand amazed
Of wondrous things that You have made
Winter's coming and summer's gone
And fall won't be here very long
Now out the window look alas
Night has come so very fast
Time to sleep but again we'll see
In the morn this great beauty

Just set me free

Withering like the autumn leaves
My soul was in deep slumber
Wasting away the time at hand
Failing to grow inside…
Trapped inside me
My helpless soul
One day I asked,
‘’Oh ,my helpless soul,
Why are you so grim?
What’s it that you want?”
After a little thought.
It said,
“Just set me free,
Only you can set me free”
Intrigued I asked,
“But how??”
It said,
“By helping me
Connect with my Lord
whom I have to face
when you will not be with me……
By loving the life in you…
By loving one and all….
By fulfilling the purpose
of your being……
Just set me free…..
Just set me free”………

The breeze and me

The wind picks up the feathers
of the fallen bird
And carries it where it wills

It picks up the fallen leaves
Of autumn colors and carries them
Where it wills

The gentle breeze wraps around me
And whispers, you are mine my love
I am with you always

Spring Brings Peace

Give me a season....give me a reason...to start anew
It's gonna be autumn soon and the leaves are dropping like dew
Give me a season...give me a reason...to change color
I bet I'd be the color blue....Ohoohooooh... But I'm just a blur
Give me a stairway...teach me the baby steps...to start anew
It's gonna be a tornado...pretty soon and the wind is blowing so true
Hold my hand...hold it tight...give me your trust...give me a sign of contentment
I bet you're the color yellow...like the burning sun....ohoohoooooh...we'll set up a tent

We'll be together at last...the ocean won't separate us...ohoohoooooh no!
We'll be partners at task....the mountains won't make us give up...ooh ooh no!
We'll be together all the time!
We'll be together...no matter what time...
What season...what day...what hour
We both got the power
And we won't cower!
We will blossom up like a flower
And we will be as vigilant as a tower!

I'll change the season to spring time
Just for you...just for you...
I'll obliterate the darkness and destruction...I'll wipe off the grime
From your hand...from your hand
Our friendship will never cease
And we'll create peace...
Peace in mind
Peace that you'll find
In the Spring time
There is a time
For peace, love and hope
I'll do what you wish and never say "nope!"
Because we'll be working together
And we will conquer!
And we will be stronger!

And we'll create peace...
in due time...we'll have peace in mind
Peace that we'll find
In the Springtime

Greatest Inspiration

You are the greatest inspiration of mine,
Sweeter than a glass of wine,
Brighter than a child’s eye,
Truer than my truest lie.
Always waiting for your call to meet,
To hold you in my arms and sleep.
You make my night the stormiest storm,
Then leave me all broke and torn.
When I rise and make it through
My heart forgets what is done by you-
Sweeter than a glass of wine,
You are the greatest inspiration of mine

Autumns Social

Autumns design takes candor beyond man.
Showing reality we all try to hide.
Sharing nakedness broad in noble plan,
Though recycling natures secure pride,
Bolder, at the end of her life’s span,
Humanities autumn takes us on a ride.
If we should not heed our mortals sign.
Live life full of honor and truly shine.

SERENITY RESPONSE

SERENITY RESPONSE

The winds of autumn blow
Creating change

The crux of the matter
Do I bend or do I break?

Willow knows the truth
She may weep besides waters deep

But she drinks in courage to face the future
And bends when winds do blow

And in her serenity - she survives
'She accepts the things she cannot change'

courage to change the things I can;

Wealth flagship

Lift up from the rotar weeds
Summer bleeds the last still born
 As autumn greed fights decay
To save the date from phallic fortunes
Gather brand new gallop horse distortions

Where poles putrify at stockholm
Is this the way the world ends?
On battery pulse with no remorse
Sucking hospital cupid with no hope groan syndrome

To make alive the image
Of fly's circling round chopper wheels
My primal ordeal is to shake it thin
As carcass evaporates mermaids into wave maids

Concrete headaches will remember the bloodline spilled
Out the skin fold mouths of gyrating myth
From belly up suckers that just gotta bust the date
Wealth of the flagship sailing straight into paper fates

St Mary and St Eanswythe 11th Century, Parish Church

Beside remembrance road,
Up rugged steps,
A little further on,
A gate,
And through,
Along a flagstone path,
Lined by sturdy trees,
Now in their Autumn shades,
And roundabout,
Gravestones, with Epitaphs,
Some hard to see,
Of past loving thoughts,
For those through time,
That left this world behind,
Gold heaped beds, crisp to foot,
Lead on, and there,
Within the filtering light,
A door of timber,
Where in, such beauty,
Prized eyes behold,
And all about great calmness,
Absorbs with Godly thoughts,
Within this parish church,
This Holy Ground.

GRACE

The autumn sky attunes itself to hearts,
a sour grey murky wash where lost eyes tire.
with insubstantial dust it affects so,
that vision blurs and minds retreat to when
those aged weary organs last supped hope;
and still they seek to quaff before it fades.

Mere dregs they hunger as the last joy fades
to quench beyond their volume broken hearts
and rehydrate that desiccated hope,
rejuvenate the goals before lives tire,
that minds may ponder not upon the “When?”
but concentrate on “What next?” and “How so?”

To take uncertain step, and take it so
as not to fear the fall if stair it fades,
would stir adrenalin so’s not to tire
the fragile confidence of tender hearts,
that they might respond quickly, those doves, when
presented opportunity to hope.

This then the grace of God, the wisp that’s hope,
which we in arrogance might dismiss so
upon our slightest whim and if and when:
an employee who on our command fades.
this grace exists beyond the grasp, the hearts:
phenomenon which will not doze nor tire.

See now how eyes do genuinely tire
as surcease emanates from new-found hope,
providing respite for those weary hearts:
hammock of restful sleep delivered so
the love embattled souls may rally when
their combined lumen some dark agent fades.

Thus through harsh winter flare as daylight fades
with fuel of ‘the multiverse’ entire,
the essence of which Lazarus lit when
his sisters had begged balm of Only Hope.
Such embers must be stoked to fierce blaze so
The Darkness may not touch creations’ hearts.

Faith should not tire when allocated hope.
Our God heeds not the ‘when’ of our say-so,
but stokes each heart with love that never fades.

Ecstasy

Welcome
The time around filled with juvenility
The season solaced by the aura of odiferous
The world primed with unity
The love lived over by the essence of glorious.

Dream
A life lived on top of the world
A garden sated by the aroma of flowers
A nation saluted with laud
A peace blessed by the solemnity of prayers.

Blend
With the music that dance with your soul
With the rain melded by the rays, rainbow
With the life soothed along pride
With the macrocosm by the end of brow.

Pray
For the day, a prayer unspoken for live out
For the clouds silvery cottoned by autumn newbie
For the hapless longing for a day out
For the solitude by the event foregone.

Adios
The Time you lived today
The Nature that you acclaimed
The earth that you live on
The wishes proclaimed.

Power

When you see September is coming
You will know that nature dies.
There is too much tragic in this season.
Fall is changing our souls.

When you see I talk to rain and
Fall on knees before an unknown figure
Remember that you're different from me and
Don't see and understand the colors of the dark.

When you catch me there
Praying to our Lord
Don't think I do
Because I am scared.
The thing is that
There is so much power
Within me but it's still
Not enough to change
The universe and I do pray
For more.

I can look in your eyes
and not be denied
the love I feel inside
is more precious than
the first blooming flower
the first clap of thunder
the first ray of sun

it feels good to know

SPRING AND THE DEVIL'S ARM

      SPRING AND THE DEVIL'S ARM
Abbreviated by an early autumn night
the summer, once tormented by a torrid sun,
relented to September, as if dying might
give reason to all things the heat and time has done;

The stalks of corn, if touched, explode into a dust,
and water tables sink down to a new found low,
but love always goes on, as love, it always must,
through drought and flood, and shortages that come and go.

There in the field, an old man points his maple cane
as if a prophesy, and something we should know,
always, always, always, there will be too much rain,
or not enough, and only love can ever grow.

There is a blizzard brewing, it's part of the plan,
up in the wastelands north, with tons and tons of snow;
and on a winters' morn, snow will be deeper than
the fences seperating everything we know;

and how the wind will howl, and everything will freeze,
there's little we can do, but hope for early spring,
always, always, always, we fall down to our knees
in love and prayer that times like this always will bring.

Next spring the rains will always fall, perhaps too much,
for some the devil's arm will reach down from the sky,
and twisting life about, there is no gentle touch,
excepting love, and that is all that gets us by.

Always, always, always, love has to always be,
though borrowed from the wind, though sought in pain,
though snatched out of the grip of some cotastrophe,
if not for love, there'd be no welcome summer rain.

Conservation Autumn

The days of autumn approach,

I walk through God's kingdom,

The towering trees reaching towards the sky,

A maple leaf tree touched by God's rainbow,

Leaves red, yellow and green covering the walkways,

I walk to the lake calm and reflective,

Ducks swimming about,

The sky is blue with a few clouds,

Radiant rays of the sun shinning,

The walk is long and very much appreciated.

I See God

I see God's face in each sunrise,
I have seen His face in the dew.
I can see His face in each raindrop,
That falls as tears, from skies of blue.

I see God's face in each springtime,
On dew watered blades of grass.
I oft gaze at flowers and marvel,
Why He gave man such class.

In summer, God's in fields of grain,
And in the mighty oaks that bend.
But most of all He's seen by me,
In the face of a Christian friend.

His face I see each autumn time,
As leaves float to the ground.
I'm reminded that in each snowflake,
His face there too is found.

I need but to look about to see,
His stamp is on the great and small.
I'll not traverse life without Him,
For I know not the hour He'll call.

Autumn Tree

Was a tree created for Christmas no, I think not A tree was created to stand tall shading light of day  from  creatures resting in and beneath her hidden from sun's scorching rays The sun burns hot in fall, turning green her leaves auburn, orange, and red, they fall  blanketing the brown carpet of grass below  she has shut down her food factory for the winter Flush green colors of chllorophyll fades as hours of light shortens and cold lengthens it days a tree whether summer, fall, winter, or spring was not created to be chopped down in autumn A tree decorated just to die for Christmas an autumn tree, grinded, disperse for life of new trees, stand tall shading light of day from creatures resting in, and  beneath her,  hidden from sun's scorching rays, makes sense

Autumn

It is that of a sweet and inspiring look.
That of an autumn’s beauty that captures your heart.
All full of colors with lines and curves through out.
That you can’t help but to gaze the mountain scenes you see.
For it’s full of wonders delights as heavens nature shines colors.
And a season enlightens.

For the beauty you see falls the leaves of the tree.
But it’s Autumn time that is here as nature brings eyes to hold.
It’s like being all wrapped up in the finest silk.
As we get lost in the pleasantness’ of a morning dew.
It like two seasons in one as love spreads about.
As I can just feel the picture my eyes behold.
And the wonder of the heart and soul.

That of colors grown of a beauty from within.
That it would be nice to touch the curves of the mountain.
And feel that of God’s blessing of love.
As I would run my hands across autumn’s love.
And enjoy that of her love and beauty she portrays.
And fall deep into her valleys and curves at play.
And soar like an eagle as I would glide wild and free.
As it’s a nice temperature day and I’m playing in autumn’s leaves.

It’s there to which beads of water fall as I enjoy that of an autumn lay.
As it is there her delights I experience.
As nature has produced something of such beauty and grace.
I love seeing and feeling the love of two hearts.
As to have you here next to me during this season it is.
I would enjoy autumn much better.
Knowing the delights you hold.

Because rather spring is in, autumn brings in cold winds.
And its days like that I’ll like to be cuddled up by a fire with you.
Or instead of me playing in the leaves alone.
I could play with you instead.
And we both can say, we enjoyed autumn this day.
And the beauty and love of her hills and curves to form.

I like another day to run and feel her curves.
And make everyday an autumn day.
Just because I have autumn’s beauty to love.
As with you, you would be my autumn everyday.
As I have found nothing but delights of beauty to love.

‘sunflowers”

Minutes away from my basket, hope it fills up this time.
Don’t have a token , but I’ll flip a dozen with a smile.
I hope the rumors around don’t hinder my chances, willing to run the mile.
I like to seek the meek, rockers, the poor, and shoes of all sizes.
I love you all, you are my all in all, hope to see you at the mall.
Last fall, I flipped a shining coin, honey, I hope I catch a golden coin like yours.
Please Aunt Pam, don’t whip me this time I just might bring a pile.
Minutes before my alarm clock rang, I awoke to smell the dew of the morning.
Minutes away from my basket, Aunt Pam, I just might be your sunshine.

LADY OF THE LIGHT

You were always the faithful one
with a saviour in your heart
you had seen the light of the Lord
from the very start.
even in your darkest days
and the autumn of your life
you never lost faith in the Lord
lady of the light.

Now you have left this life
and in us a memory
but we all think of you
and how you used to be
you had been the special one
when you lived your life
with a special kind of love
lady of the light.

And when I look back on life
I often think of you
looking out your window
the way you used to do
watching children go off to school
in the morning light
smiling to the world outside
lady of the light.

Now you are there in Heaven
and back again once more
with those who you had loved
who had to go before
always forever the faithful one
when you lived your life
for you had seen the light of the Lord
lady of the light.

Shooting Blanks

Just
In time corpse shine twilight sun had tainted my inner vision
Twisted
Shooting blanks at the rooster just supose another number feeling somber
Doesn't any wonder?
Torpedo
Torn,
The inclusion within vile pathetic outrage
Shooting blanks as busy as Tyra Banks in bikini eating linguini
Torpedo, remember Frank Serpico?
Frantic in Autumn looking brightly colored orange
In pivotal choices sense of remoseful inclusion
In dirty laundry vile smell who could tell
A window opens air will blow to breath in the steam,
Shouts of glory to untold story morning glory;
Shooting blanks getting lost in the shark tank
Dellusional
Insanity
Romantic interlude toward vanity
In tuned harmony to its hidden beasts menagerie
Shooting Blanks in the phone at the door

At the beach while Mrs. Polly eating a peach.

triangle rooftops

I used to live for everything; for the naked trees in the autumn, for the smell of hope in the
spring. Every time that smell came I would breathe deeper.
I would look out of my window at night and see the city lights gleaming up at me, they
screamed,
‘you can have this, you can have all of this’.

My youth was enveloped in faith and ambition. Faith dictated my every move. Faith in the
table that would hold my drink. Faith in the bath that would get me clean. Faith in my heart
that would guide me. Faith in myself to get to the lights.
Myself?
Myself is conquered in question marks and lists.

Now loneliness dictates my every move. It shoves me into dark places and binds me to
things that my mind cannot commit.
I am swarmed by darkness and acres and acres of hope that cannot be tended to or sown.
Every ounce of me has abandoned myself and I cannot retrieve it.

I reminisce over pages and pages of me and there is no middle ground.
I was young and I was free.
I was nineteen and I was lost.
I am nineteen and completely tattered.

I look back on these pages and I see images of flowers with three petals and houses with
four windows and triangle rooftops.
I see people with bright pink skin and everything in 2-D.

Then I look back on these pages and see hearts with your name scrawled across them. I see
paragraphs and books dedicated to you.
I see everything that you ever said to me.
I see all of my faith scribbled in you.

Now when I look out of my window,
the lights glare at me, they scream, ‘YOU LOST HIM, YOU LOST YOU!’
And when the spring comes and I breathe deeper, every cell in my body becomes decimated
by your scent, every organ rots remembering you.
In the autumn when the trees are free and naked and cold,
my bones shake without you to cover them.

The Love Poem of Hudson S Prufcock

I ponder poetry passively, as the clock ticks
You can bolt your door when the reaper knocks
But what if he’s a lock-smith?
We’re a nearly always a nation in debt,
Visa’s put credit card
Goblins under your bed.
Blessed and cursed, by unlimited spending
Poor and regretful, is that a diligent ending?

When I dream, I ponder pillow fights,
Polyester wars waged on cool autumn nights
Consider the sacrifice, as you sip your burnt coffee
Of soldiers from home who fancied
Going out in a blaze of glory…
Only,
To find themselves dying quietly
Last breaths whispered softly,
On the Homeland we all pray
To a shopping-mall Gandhi.

I pass by store-windows, a distorted reflection
Looks rather pious, as it ponders who I am.
So let us go then, you and I
When the ozone has grown disillusioned with the sky
And opens up our lives to harsh Heavens.
Like a terminal patient
Who roams septic halls in a hospital gown
Memorizing faces,
With the fresh innocence of a child

Because we’ll all be great friends,
On the other side, somehow
Till robotic voices wake us, and we drown.

Acknowledging an absence

Accepting that which is unseen;

As I sit in a pew for worship
Thumbing the well worn missal
Trying to reason the idea of faith.

Seasons

Season’s

The defining moments in my life, are like the seasons in me.
The season I was in, determined who I’d be.
Just when I started understanding it seemed the season turned.
The things that I lost became what I yearned.
In the spring time of my life I was foolish and young.
There seemed little consequence for all that I had done.
I hit the road running, never looking back.
Never seeing what I needed, only what I lacked.
So much around disappeared, then it all was gone,
These became the moments for which I longed.
In the summer of my life, I basked out in the sun.
No responsibilities, my only interest fun.
The days were warm, full of light.
It seemed like the future was nowhere in sight.
In the autumn of my life there seemed so much change.
Everything in my sights, seemed out of range.
As the leaves began to fall I thought my life was turning.
Smoke just filled the air, from all the bridges burning.
No matter what I tried, I couldn’t save myself.
Only to awake, seeing someone else.
Then came the winter season, with the cold wind’s blow.
The seeds that I had planted, lie dormant in the snow.
The door slammed behind me, I couldn’t see where to go.
Things that I thought I knew, I didn’t really know.
The world outside was dying, but I wasn’t really trying……...
Now it seems that life has come full circle again.
A new beginning from the ashes of the end.
When I thought it may be over, spring time returned.
It carried the message of all that I had learned.
To truly love, you must set everything free.
Then you can realize all that you can be.
With eyes wide open, I finally can see.
That everything I needed was right in front of me.

Help Yourself First

Why do you weep there, lonely soul?
Do you feel that you’ve lost control?
Have you not a friend to assist
To guide you through your autumn mist?

Do you not wish to turn around?
Can you not find solid ground?
Can you see a friend to guide?
Or, are you destined to just hide?

Can you see the future, so near?
Have you given up and into fear?
Lest you be prisoner to thine soul
Can you not resume control?

For you must decide to make your change
Unto your life, you must now rearrange

Pruned the Root

In the silence of my mind...

stands the tree of reason...

Baring fruit, food for thought...

Pruned the root of understanding...

Tireless autumn leaves fall free...

Like flares of seasoned knowledge...

In the silence of my mind...

stands the tree of reason...

In pruned root...

...the seed I find...

In the silence of my mind...

...stands the tree of reason...

making It great in 2008 (part 23): come before winter

It's been a good year and now Autumn has passed
and Paul, a servant leader of Christ had given his last
winter is on the horizon and Paul's season was about to end
so he wrote a letter to Timothy and mentioned all of his friends
Paul had come to realize that time waits for no one
he understood that his time on earth was about to be done
come before winter he wrote to his fellow Christians
come before winter so I may see you all again

he had fought the good fight, he had finished the course and stayed true to his faith
he had came through all his trials and tribulations with God's saving grace
it was his final season and in the spirit he had lived
he testified about the goodness of God and the cause to which he did give

when you walk in the spirit, when you're in step with Christ
you'll be more aware of the seasons and the purpose of your life
Paul was most perceptive of his imminent departure from this world
so he penned a letter to his dear fiends from the confines of his prison cell
to Timothy, to Luke and to Mark he wrote these words
to tell them about spiritual warfare and the lessons he had learned
he cautioned them to stay diligent on the Christian battlefield
and to come before winter as his time was about to yield

It was a few good friends that he most wanted to see
fellow brothers and sisters in Christ true disciples of Christianity
it was a few good friends whom had always given him support
and always had his back in whatever spiritual battle he had fought
he also named some people who at one time had did him a wrong
and said that God would repay them for their actions before long

come before winter, come before it's too late
to fight the good fight and possess a true faith
come before winter and please don't hesitate
just stay the course by making it great in 20008

Seasons

I love the seasons
spring, summer, autumn winter or fall
I love the seasons for the Lord God made them all
I love the snow so fluffy and white
and the summer sun so warm and bright
I love the new flowers in spring
the pretty colors and the sweet fragrance that they bring
I love the autumn when the leaves start to fall
I love the seasons for the Lord God made them all.

All things bright and beautiful.

Grasshopper

A lonely grasshopper

Although the contemplative may disagree,

In late Autumn when leaves change
A scented shade of pine pale torn brown;
Within happiness shift change to sadness...
Amidst the gait of timely hue

A brash circumstance to fully cooperate

Having no given sense of forbidden solace to relate;
In full view of its silence;
A lonely grasshopper reacts
Within myraid currency for distant fervor in restoration,

Now tired from its journey rests & waits;

In full view of solace by which to delegate....

Although in time stregnth comes in numbers stealling thunder

Amidst a surprising fall in compromise thought;

A long line of twisted ambers falling asunder
The firm swift call in delegation mixed with thorns;
In a wooden chamber created within its waiting sphere,
An illusion filled wit silent heavy members drew near,

With pulsating madness running through my brain

A bridge of hope to guide then suddenly elapsed in fear;
I shed a single tear for want to draw near,
In swift desolation a rest on a sofa
Silence...

Suddenly in full view the butterfly arise

Emerging in figures of candles with triumph from its cacoon;
In colors of lavender in mesh slight red with blue,
It radiates a slight quiver in my head;
At first frost the elimination of its timely plight,

The cue for silence as we follow its light,

To the natural man their is always a different way by which to understand,

That destination which always seems right;
With its elimination of truth,
One is completeley forced to live by sight!
In time, a lonely grasshopper is then eager,

A search for order amidst its fire;

The yearning quiver of its timely desire
With thorns fully grown in the place of fear
A soul twisted in vice can ultimately still draw near
The lonely grasshopper still embraced its life's journey after all!

To Love Again

The fears and doubts that cloud my mind
So that day or night, peace I cannot find
Yet when I look into my heart I see
Love for you, true and pure and free.

For deep inside my soul I know
Love is freedom, a gift bestowed
Though my heart is scarred, beaten, sad
Your love broke through the walls I had.

I am stunned, in shock I stare
Up into the moist, autumn air
I was so guarded with walls so high
The pain of my life and so many lies.

The sorrow that filled my worn heart
The ocean of tears I've cried from the start
When I was a child it all began
For all my life seems a cursed plan.

For how does one human suffer so much?
No happiness or gentle touch
When joy eluded me my whole existence
You arrived with your persistence.

You were so young, so free of all the pain
It intrigued me so and pulled me in
I've never known a mind like yours
Where there's no fear, there are no sores.

I long to have a mind that's clear
And a young heart that knows no fear
How can I wipe my slate to new?
Is that what it takes to be with you?

The rain outside, it falls and falls
In my mind, my heart, your love calls
Calls to me and wants me to remember
Love is beautiful, joyful and tender.

My hopes leap so high and so bright
But the fool in me is filled with fright
I pray to God and my angels above
Please lift this curse so I can love.

In The Cool Autumn Morning

In the cool autumn morning,
When leaves did softly fall;
I heard the geese fly over,
The beckon in their call.
And in the day's dawning,
My mind began to roll;
Back to fields of clover,
Where as a child I'd stroll.
To a clear summer's morning,
In woods of green I'd roam;
Seizing the moments forming,
Till mother called me home.
And as my mind did wander,
I longed for those days known;
All that time to squander,
Oh my, how it had flown.
The geese calls grow dimmer,
Quiet now fills the room;
Heaven's light doth glimmer,
A brightness in the gloom.
And in the darkness looming,
Twas angels I heard call;
In the cool autumn morning,
When leaves did softly fall.

His Own Hands

He watches the sparrow as it glides
In the brightest morning sky
He counts the times it's wings unfold
As He sees His creation fly

He whispers and the wind blows
As it moves the autumn leaves
He smiles and the waves arise
All across the mighty seas

He speaks to all the flowers
As they strain to reach His Voice
Even the mighty oak tree
Lifts his branches to rejoice

All of nature listens
To the Father as He commands
But He molded us in His own Image
With the Love in His own Hands

WINTER

As autumn bids the land farewell
           And winter's visit starts
           An air of pure enchantment
           Stirs something in our hearts

The sleeping earth is covered in white
As the snow falls gently down
A sight to behold as the sun comes up
The trees adorned in ermine gowns

The roofs of houses wear snowy crowns
On the hills children shriek with delight
The odor of hickory hangs in the air
Hinting of a fireplace warm and bright

           Yards are dotted with snowmen
Each with a jolly bright face
           Jack Frost drapes the windowpanes
With a shawl of silvery lace

           Footprints dot the landscape
           And in the wintry chill
           A majestic stag stands regally
           A king upon the hill

          Winter is a masterpiece
          Designed for all to see
A living showcase arranged by God
To be enjoyed by you and me

THE SEASONS AS THEY CHANGE

Looking out across the valley
brings pleasant memories
of times I stood here drawing
the water, sky and trees.

I've watched the seasons as they change
from wintertime through the fall,
embracing the challenge each one presents
as I've drawn here at the wall.

The springtime with each bud so new
and the summer in it's strength of green,
the autumn with each changing leaf,
there's just so much to be seen.

But I realize that as I've been creative,
my efforts are imitations at best
of the work of One who has created
a Masterpiece far above the rest.

Autumn Pantoum

On this autumn day
In the heart of the city
The sun will have it's say
The leaves look so pretty

In the heart of the city
Joy fills the air
The leaves look so pretty
It's life without care

Joy fills the air
This day is a dream
It's life without care
We are not what we seem

This day is a dream
Heat from above
We are not what we seem
From the sky comes love

Heat from above
The sun will have it's say
From the sky comes love
On this autumn day

Return To Me

autumn afternoons glow with colorful nuances
i delight in shades of crimson
but not as much as azure
no not as much as the color of your kind, confident eyes
if only i could swim in the crisp cool blue of your eyes
and watch the shades of azure
deepen as i get closer to your heart
but eyes are only a window to the soul
not the doorway

when daylights exhausted its wealth of amber hues
and eve brings upon us shadow
i take comfort in the five pillows that surround me
yet i am not as comforted in cotton and down
as i am in a handful of your honey tares
fine as strands of spun sugar
and by the time I'll recognize this moment
the moment will be gone

for true loves sweet endeavor
to wait to find this will last forever
but as seasons change autumn to winter
so does passions sweet affairs
a brief exchange then a wave good bye
if i never stop could i find
you just might wave hello again
to belive my life is gonna see
the love i give return to me

Something Light

The sun climbs up a great big hill
To land upon my window sill.

The spider swings from tree to tree
Trying to get away from me.

The little limbs yield to the breeze
As it wanders through the trees.

A cat sneaks across the grass
Toward a mouse upon the path.

A little squirrel searching for seeds
Looks at me, his eyes say 'please.'

A sassy Jay calls me a thief
It wasn't me who stole his seeds.

A little rabbit we call Billy
Looks at us like we are silly.

An apple slice he will eat
Nod his head and cross the street.

The weeds have such pretty flowers
Then jump six inches after a shower.

The autumn trees begin to glow
And shed their pretty leaves below.

The owl wakes as evening nears
He hoot, hoot, hoots for all to hear.

The night waits and bides it's time
Waiting for the moon to shine.

As I kneel at days end
I thank you God for all my friends.

A Repentant Soul

A young man search for light
Yet, his uncaring frat
Blinded his sight!
Himself on the ground,
Where there’s no one around;
Except the warbling creatures,
On a tiny branch, in folly they swing
To comfort his wounded feeling,
Till they’re shunned away,
By the raging winds, of autumn in gray!
Rising from fall, he feels the morning mist,
Lending him the freshness he needs;
In his heart, he doesn’t want to miss,
The eternal words, to be spoken
To the brethren,
By the destined seer!
For forgiveness and guidance,
To the Almighty, he prayed, earnestly!
Because of his repentant soul,
He regained his sight, anew!

October Hope

October light,
burnt against pumpkin colored tree skin,
lit with autumn secrets which only nature knows
October sky,
blue as ocean frigid,
promising to bring the cold as winter mushroom grows
October song,
written in the minor, mourning key
sad and soulful warning to hibernate your sun-starved, liquid dreams
October ending,
letting leaves dissolve, understanding warm rebirth
is the other side of the cycle to be blossomed: faith, belief...

Arise!

under the boughs of her personal tree
she counts her wishes, one two three
theleaves fall down so she cannot see
she falls asleep for a thousand years
the world revolves around her fears
she knows it all but never hears
  the cormorants along the shore
dive for love and evermore
but that's not what she's
waiting for
  the sentinels address the sky,
pour out their seven bowls and sigh
but she just lets the time go by
  dreaming bouquets and a ball
dancing with her prince so tall
whirlling,twirling through it all
until the white lord sharp of tongue
brings to mind the old and young
on his stallion he will come
to brush the autumn leaves away
from where she sleeps
until that day
when he will take her hand and say...
   ARISE!

Not Yet

Destituted from the highest throne
Shivering under the cold rain alone
To excess I am prone, but this I will demand
I beg you, Beloved do not leave this grey land

The steps echoing with the memories of your smiles
I can still see your laughter dancing on the tiles
Of this empty hallway we used to share
I dare yell, plead, don't you dare!

Leave me stranded into this foreign winter
To none of my needs it is able to catter
Oh, Love, there is still so much to do together
Your luminescent presence gone, I catch a feather

Symbol of utmost radiance
As I lose all my patience
I can't stand it anymore, I forbid you to leave!
To find yourself being alike the autumn leaves!

Not yet Love
Not yet a Dove
Not yet Love, not yet, I'm not yet in Heaven
So please, run away from the ominous Raven

Don't die yet, my one true Love
Don't depart for a land high above
I've yet to gain those porcelain wings
As the oppressive bell of death rings

I have yet to earn the title of Angel
A spirit to hear the chorus of a bell
With your name inscribed on it with impurity
And I know I will not get away with impunity

But in the end, it does not matter
As I watch it go down, this meter
Soon, it shall come unavoidable
The Bittersweet, so damnable!

I will not try to lie
I have still yet to die
So please, be patient, just a little longer
So I may welcome you, in those lands yonder...

And instead of crows eating at our rotting corpses
Into the night where the firefly boldly dances
You will find us to be nothing more than pair of dove
Dying together, writting The End in common, for Love

A flame long divided, united in demise
Bound into eternity by scarlet ties

A wildfire, spelling words of Us

The Nature of God

The voice of many waters
Rivers, oceans, seas and falls
Extol the Lord of all the earth
From mountains, vales, hills he calls
In the fresh summer air
And in breezy autumn winds
Through the lowest grass, highest tree
A still small word begins
Beneath rocks and atop plateaus
In open plains and inside caves
None can hide their faces
From the truth that Jesus saves
Ominipresent in all His creation
And the darkness is as the light
His sun does shine by day
And his stars all shine at night
To reveal His face and essence
The way that he sees yours
For all power empowers, never forces
Listen to his praise outdoors

Somewhere in the Distance

    A forest stands
at the far end
           of the valley
of unreality
     The leaves are
blown by an autumn breeze
let the wind do its work
               we walk down
the path
      and see the brillant
colors in the distance
           someday we'll
return home
       but for the present
we will just enjoy
   what we can
there is so little time
    to waste
We must make haste!
   Somewhere in the
distance
     a bird is winging
its way
     to it's nest
We are strangers in
    this land
       and must close
the curtain
      all too soon
Somewhere in the distance
the small bird is
returning home
    It's out of sight
now
    but we have seen
it fly
    We're not birds
but our spirits can
    soar
