Nyx

Nyx - Ode -

Strophe:

The shadows know the
scent of clove
as Nyx devolves her
orphic code;
her odes address the
stars above,
inviting so, the
Morpheus' bode.

Her darkness strings
the scenic
stillness,
her laughter waves
inside the ether,
small hours submit
erotic bleakness,
advancing 'mid the
sage and heather.

The creatures glance
- with eyes of amber
beneath the blinking
starry flare,
while Nyx, the
infinite advancer,
inflicts her
thralldom and
affair.

Antistrophe:

The blanching moon,
in ventured glory,
embraced by Erebus
at night,
unfolds her mane of
black graphite,
distributing her
daunting dowry.

She meekly bids to
worlds of blooms,
the mortals on the
breezes' breath,
bestowing grand the
kiss of death,
with fates to weave
the orchard looms.

Epode:

Suggesting darkened
deeds and dismal,
with sovereignty she
guides - abysmal,
the chanted souls to
follow thence,
her clouded callings
consequence.

The story on
Wikipedia:
{
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nyx
Nyx ("Night" in
Greek) – Roman (in
Latin): Nox – is the
Greek goddess (or
personification) of
the night. A shadowy
figure, Nyx stood at
or near the
beginning of
creation, and was
the mother of other
personified deities
such as Hypnos
(Sleep) and Thanatos
(Death). Her
appearances are
sparse in surviving
mythology, but
reveal her as a
figure of
exceptional power
and beauty. She is
found in the shadows
of the world and
only ever seen in
glimpses. }

black pebbles and violet streams

violet
star stream
flowing
across
the
soulessness
of
mundane dream...
whispering everythings allright
she's thriving like a spring fed rose
of saintly gardens
angels brightly glowing

...of this dream.
i staggered along
a ragged oragami path
through a battlefield of metal devils
called
quartered living
faith folding and unfolding
garnished with ogres slinging
burning orbs of fire -haloes of insanity...
this is when
violet star
sashayed in
soothing me
shielding me
her singing rosary
telling me
that she loved and missed my heart
re-fastened our very being with a satin dream kiss
that had tattered in the talon of time...
lifted me across the bloody
broken battered fields
 ...into the arms of forever
where the beat of pristinity only flies

so fly
my love,
fly ever so softly into me
If dreams mean anything
I know it wont be long
till we dance
the dance of butterflies
over green sprigs and lacy things
in a warm wind
yes
in the heart pond of a gilded
tomorrow we'll
gently drift
make oragami sunflower love
high upon a gilded glade...

if dreams mean anything
death is just a splash
of
black pebbles
in a violet star stream....
if dreams mean anything

You Shine Your Light

You shine your light in darkest night
Your beacon burning there so clear
If I had wings then I’d take flight
You shine your light in darkest night
I feel your warmth holding me tight
As in your arms you draw me near
You shine your light in darkest night
Your beacon burning there so clear

The King Of Pop

from his abc's
to that freaky billy jean

came a pop star
for all to love and see

from the apollo's stage
wondered if you were ready for screaming rage

for you never had a childhood of bliss
only done what was on joseph's list

a studded white glove
and white socks just because

a star on the hollywood walk of fame
for you sang and danced showing no shame

scandals of twisted truth
did not detour you from your missing youth

neverland was your own safari escape
who would figure your best friend would be a chimp of faith

michael may god cradle you in his arms
and basked in your king of pops worldly charm

will forever miss that porcelain smile
and always think of you on my radio dial

for now your at your heavens trial
may god forgive this lost and lonely child

dad army

Dad´s Army

On the Milky Way a black cloud appeared,
not dark as the night, but as a whole year
of winter nights put together and blended
with stygian thoughts of a suicidal dictator.
Then slowly the cloud began to dissipate,
became whispery as Fidel Castro´s beard.
…And there, on blue silk, a new born star,
unexciting at first but it grew stronger by
the galaxy minute- which last a bit longer
than on earth-, till it one day sparkled with
pride especially around Christmas.
The moment a new star is born an old star
lights up, like northern light, for so to fall
into perpetuity, and I shall not see my old
friend Clive Dunn again.

A New Day

I might sparkle in the night but I'm not the only star you might not see them in the sky it depends on where you are Am I the only light in your eyes that makes you smile when you cry if your favorite's what you say don't you blink it might fade away Only when we give everything we're truly ready for better things we invite ourselves off to drift the steam rises and our spirits lift Follow me, into sun sets be brave and strong with no regrets and when the sea takes the light we'll find a new day after the night there's still a new day after the night

Last Breath

You were a shining Star.
Few of many in the sky.
Looking up so very high,
Not knowing why you are.

Close and set you are far.
Spinning flames knot a tie,
I note a pattern just like pi.
Colliding with me you spar.

So burn it up and burn away,
Sow your heart upon a plane.
Chart your distance in the clay.
Burn it all up then call it sane.

The explosion in the sky is His death.
All burned up He has no last breath.

Sweet child of mine

The stars they used to bring tears to my eyes
Dark skies, I cried as I prayed for daylight
You were my fragment of pain
I became swallowed in memorys of darkness
That used to come and go so haunting, the loss of you
Still is killing me, for you were gone so suddenly..

My first child
My first love
Now all I have left
Are the stars above
Not to mention
The glow of the moon
That always reminds me
That you were taken too soon
Tears fall down my cheeks
When your name is spoken, that's when
These demons become awoken
The heartbreak
The despair
Losing your child
Is too much to bear
Sleepless nights
Dreams full of terror
Seeing the pain in your eyes
Everytime you look in the mirror

I can look at the stars now
With hope, instead of pain
You my child, did not die in vain
You will live through me, glow bright star
Glow.. Glow for me
And for all of
The mommys to see
Be my guidance, keep me from the ledge
To you child, this I pledge:

I see your glow and I can now smile
Though I might shed a tear every once and a while
Just because, I'm missing you
But I promise I will pull through

Thank you spirits
Thank you stars
For welcoming my child
With open arms
Keep him safe
Give him love
And let him know I am with him
Everytime I look above..

In Her Teen

We know her future could be bright
If not for death that snatched her dream
She was the queen among her mates
The few she left here said it all

If not for death that snatched her dream
While on earth she nurtured the best
The few she left here said it all
A jewel worth many to pens

While on earth she nurtured the best
She was the queen of her mates
The few she left here said it all
We know her future could be bright

The Major Star

The major star who was hundreds of centuries old
was finally dieing yet not in vain, for with its death
comes new life and new planets formed as it splinters

Water so cool and clear
life giving to all our worlds
stars birth formed you

As a star dies the gases ignite and fuse into droplets
these then are carried to other worlds to start new life
Scientists believe that all life came from these deaths

Moonshine beams dancing
causing flickering shadows
that dance joyously

Our own moon and all the sun's orbiting planets were
formed in one of these explosions. All we see and touch
came from a dieing major star

Sunbeams hit the water
refracting and enhancing
the crystal river

Sometime in the future our own major star the Sun will
die leaving life as we know it gone yet as prophets
have said death is the start of rebirth so lets enjoy our stars

Stars hide their faces
behind the fluffy white cloud
just an odd twinkle

One Soul Can Change

The thought of death can bring me fear,
The thought of her will bring a tear.
Real as the person sitting next to you,
Growing old but starting young and new,
The world revolves around a thought,
Of money and fame; until your body starts to rot.
Then the world becomes a blur to one,
Seeing the light; seeing which of your ways were right.
Left-right-side to side,
We take on this journey; this ride.
To find answers and truth in the lines,
Looking back at the life liven; and where your heart shines.
So as you read this you have a chance,
To look at your own story; just take the glance,
Because one soul can change its ways,
One mind can make new plays.
Pulling each memory back like a book,
Small eyes squinting to take a close look,
Who are you when no ones there,
Who are you when others stare?
Questions to be asked when death is talked about,
Voices in your head began to shout,
What is life, what is my reason,
Each year passes by; each month; each season,
My body grows older but my heart stays clear
Understanding to over come death as a fear.
As this poem is about to end,
Hold out your hand for a friend,
Pull close and know that life is precious;real talk,
Pull close and know that you walk your own walk,
The outsiders and can talk about past and the ups and downs,
But their kind of like the funny people on the side; the clowns.
So head up ; feet low,
Arms strong; to get through the tough; now row,
Don't give up just be yourself,
Like putting the old toy upon the shelf,
Become the star that's bright and known,
Become the star that you know can be shown.

A Concert For Death In My Symphonic Life

At night I like to look to the sky and remember the lost ones by whom I'm inspired The angels Rena, Toni, Jeromiah, and David all showed me something, how can I repay them? My heros whos lives, troubled like mine yet never once did they ever fail to shine even as they thought they mattered not I noticed the love for the life through they fought every time they woke from the bed until one by one, my heros, fell dead When I remember, even though, ago long, I look to the heavens, and sing them a song. I feel them smile, and clap for another I give it all my love, like I do Teddy and Randy, my brothers who pulled me out of the hole in my head and gave me the strength to carry the dead into my concert, a symphonic life for its what they give me, when we get lost in the night.

Joan Of Arc

Come with me
Deep in the stars
We shall lie upon this grass
For a few hours, touching
Gently blow a kiss
Into the depth of the sky
And all apologies
Shall be caught in eased sigh
Allow me to lead you through this world black
Around it and back
You wear pain
As though chains
Were embracing all loves luxuries
Alas we will not die in slight defeat
Waiting for the night to stare
A star gazing through your eyes
Knows you truly do care
And slightly dims when you cry
For there is a star in the sky
And a glow in the moon
Guiding your way with its light
Tranquility will subside soon
So if you believe in pretend
And reach way up high
The stars angel shall descend
Abolishing all tears from your eyes
It’s painful to you
So is the truth
Can’t you understand?
Words are forgivable
For when we clasp our hands
They become retrievable
Now words are meaningless
And forgettable
Far too late to change events
Time for consequence
Again you kiss the sky
Wave your goodbye
A star smiles and begins to cry
Washing away all pain
You arise from the grass
In the warm blanket of tears in rain

Fond Memories Of My Dad From Dustin

I want to share a few, Fond memories of my dad, With an experience or two, Of the times together we had. He was a carpenter by trade, Just like Jesus used to be, But the full time job with mom he made, Was taking care of me. I remember things we did together, When I was five years old, My first fishing trip, buying my first heifer, And letting me ride a steer in a rodeo. Fixing a racecar up together was fun, It was for me to race someday, Even though it was work that was done, It seemed more like play. It was in April of 2001, When my dad helped me find a steer, I named him Blazer and he was the one, That I thought would bring a winning year. I looked forward to the pick up day to be, When my dad would be breaking in the steer, And it would be just dad and me, Because my mom, of that, she had a fear. Before he had a chance to break her in, He had a heart attack and had to rest, He told me that I’d have to step in, And just try to do my best. I was a little worried and not so sure, If I could even really do this stuff, And since it had always been my dad before, I waited for my dad to guide me when he had strength enough. My dad wanted to help me more but he was too sick, So I tried even harder this time around, And Blazer sure didn’t like the show stick, But I finally got him to walk with me on the ground. And the time came that I knew then, Blazer would be ready for the Auction show, But my dad had another heart attack again, And I realized there was life lesson for me to know. The lesson that I have learned here, Is that sometimes we really do, Take for granted our family will always be there, But you never know when they won’t be able to help you. As the brightest star in the sky, Reminds me of Nana, my dad’s mother, There is now another bright star near by, For dad and the love we shared with each other. Tough As Nails

Hopeful doesn’t mean stupid
That doesn’t mean I wasn’t stupid
I was in a state and messed up
Simple as that.

I could dramatize
Spill all the stars from my eyes and mouth and cry out for answers but,
I won’t.
My spirit can dance alone.
A lapse in judgement will not throw it off beat because it dances to a cosmic drum. My heartbeat and no one else’s.

Dropped my shield
Set myself on fire
Burned up a daft dream
And fell to ashes.

I’ve proven to relate to the phoenix
Both of us know what it’s like to die a quick death and come back stronger
Time and time again
Our ashes swirl into the manifestation of our desires and in that I find my comfort.

Boulders
Hard topped, granite counters
Tough as nails kid
But kid is man or at least he pretends to be.

Smart phones aren’t so smart but, I’m writing this on one
Sedatives and sad, country music mood swims through my veins.

Excuse me, while I go have a drink with that phoenix.

Fame and Stardom

Attainment of success, stardom and fame
Remains the ultimate dream of many
Who seek the publication of their name
Upon the future pages of history

The journey to such a destination
Requires effort and dedication
Those who at last gain such recognition
Enjoy a well deserved satisfaction

Some celebrities who make this journey
Find coping with this new life can be rough
There's an invasion of their privacy
And the demands of stardom can be tough

They then turn to some drug to ease the stress
Whether it's alcohol or other stuff
Soon their entire life can become a mess
And dealing with it's pressures can be rough

Bouts of anxiety and depression
Are what they have to endure constantly
Some develop a serious addiction
That may lead to suicidial tendency

Women tend to choose a gentler ending
Like drug overdose or a means that's neat
Some may opt to end it all by hanging
Mindful not to mess up the body sheath

Some men go for a violent ending
By putting a bullet through their own head
Others jump off a bridge or tall building
Seeking to ensure that they will be dead

Those aspiring to fame and stardom
Pursue your dream and goal diligently
Just be mindful of how things can become
And seek to be guided accordingly

Whitney Houston(singer, actress) – drug overdose
L'Wren Scott(fashion designer, model) - hanging
Kurt Cobain(singer, songwriter) – bullet to head
Tony Scott(Academy award winning actor) – jumped off bridge

Demons On A Star

If I place the demons on a star,
And watch how faint their shimmers are,
The lines connecting, one through five,
Should make my dead friends come alive

In the Sun the Moon the Stars

I do not trust my form,
to act as an adequate vehicle to carry my Love for You.
It aches with decadence and decomposition.

Skins cells flake in exhaustion,
Hair follicles abort out of fatigue
Finger nails and toes nails crack , peel and tear.

Bones creak in warning,
Muscles retreat in lethargy
Skin hangs, falls and sags.

So I place my Love in the sun,
the moon,
the stars,
the grass,
the leaves.

So that I may continue to adore you in everything,
with everything.

IF I DIE TOMORROW

If I knew I would die tomorrow,
What would be my actions today?
Would I hide behind closed doors,
Light a candle to God and pray?

Or try to fill each hour,
With remembrance of my life,
Focusing on the beauty and pleasures,
Or try to understand the pain and strife.

I think I would walk this earth,
With eyes that at last can see,
Knowing death comes to all,
Granting peace, sets us free.

I believe God has a plan,
From the moment of my birth,
And because of my faith in Him,
I have assurance of rebirth.

If I die tomorrow,
Do not grive for me,
For I'll be with my Lord,
In tranquillity.

CLOCK

In the vast beauty and diversity
of the reaches of the cosmos
           impresses upon us all
the shear minute dust we are
                 in any comparison
The simplicity of laws
            that govern it's most basic
     and complex movements
Birth , Life , Death
some would distain this as "circular"
as the patterns in creation are
for all things existing within its confines
the birth , life , death of stars , galaxies
entropy and the recirculation of those elements
into new structures encased
in the womb for new material
apply equally to the diversity of structures
cycling on the little blue marble
seed sprout bush tree seed
seed sprout plant flower seed
seed baby child adult seed
same down onthe cellular level
same down tothe atomic level
                 and its clock
in a state of perfectly circular self propagation
For those who foolishly accuse us of being

                   CIRCULAR

Let me explain a simple something
how we measure time in the cosmos

is based on a circular orbital movement of planets
                      and stars
and as for thinking
are questions seeking answers which just
                     lead to more questions

and that's the beauty of it

       simplicity defines even the most
        complex systems that function

right down to the circuit boards for computers
        and technology

Mama seals it with Kiss
        Keep it simple stupid

anyone who doesn't know
a clock embedded in the universe
has not recognized his own

Sol's Twin

Sol’s Twin

A red stormy star
The sister of the star that provides life
In an orbit out of the solar system
It will return to do a galactic dance with the sun we know
Evil living in the cold of space
It will approach the planets burning them as it passes
Beautiful blue-green Earth floating as it had forever
Life being lived under a crystal blue sky
Children playing and laughing
Their parents watching TV to hear the latest news
A yellow star and a red star fight for a meager planet
A that moment God deserts the people of Earth
The red star passes close to the planet
The ground shakes, the water boils and everything dies
Then, as it was in the beginning there is no air, no water, no Earth
Everything is silent
Everything is gone except two stars passing each other
And that is the end

SILVER STAR

SILVER STAR

I have long since lost Hope,
because my paths are so endlessly long and aimless,
as if sculpted out of my restless spirit
in the long nights of reverie.
You know, Lord... I used to have my Hope.
It was so nice to stand next to the Christmas tree
with my mother,
and look at its proud top,
where our silver star shone,
my favorite Hope.
To me, a child who never decorated his own tree,
it was the biggest Christmas tree in the world,
and the brightest star beyond the heavenly dome.
Each night before Christmas we would return to the same place
with the same desire and faith,
until our terrible companions, the long, cold nights
have invoked death
and stolen my mother.
I am motionlessly standing and staring into this dark, cold night,
like an avenger yearning for revenge,
and a thin woman in rags is passing me by,
whispering warm words into a child's frozen ear.
The child is looking up with the same gaze
like I did when my mother used to show me the silver star,
whispering into my frozen ear
that someday I shall touch that silver star too,
silvering all the orphanages of this dark world.
Her warm words are still crossing my mind:
„Son, always stand on your toes and look up...
and you shall touch your star!“
My eyes have long since stopped sparkling
and they don't look up.
They used to be the big, bright eyes of a child,
that shone in the dark,
like two young embers that were just set afire,
but now... oh, now my eyes are but burnt out embers
in the squeezing fist of the cold world.

You know, Lord, how much I wanted to stand on my toes
and look up,
but life always threw me back to my knees.
I admit that I haven't been standing on my toes for a long time,
but I am not kneeling, either,
I am only looking down
into the dark reflections of people's characters,
and my Hope is once again so far away,
as if it's afraid of my faithful squire,
which is standing at the bottom of the silky net,
not like a flym
but like a master of many a fly big and small,
because Death has that justified purpose
to come for its flies regardless of their size.
I am not looking at death like a fugitive,
but a penitent man,
who wants just another chance.
How strange it is, Lord,
that even a man abandoned by Hope wants his chance.
Yes, Lord, I admit
that I would like to stand on my toes once more,
below the biggest Christmas tree in the world,
and touch our silver star.

A lonely star shone one night

A lonely star shone one night;
By a grave, he stood all alone in white.
The muffled sounds of a laughter gone so soon blew near
With whistles of a heart’s solemnest thoughts,
And, thus, he discovered that
He was not alone:
A lonely star shone one night!

The Gunslinger

He was a gunslinger from the lone star state,
With a mind full of anger and a heart full of hate.
He wore two six shooters, one on each hip,
With the notches of the dead cut into the grip.
The eyes of this gunslinger showed no emotion or fear,
Every one kept there eyes on him when he was near.
Then along came a stranger, with a star upon his chest,
Looking for the man from the deep southwest.
He called the man out from the lone star state.
He knew that talking was useless, his words would carry no weight.
As they pulled there guns, the gunslinger gave it his best.
But the bullet that struck first was from the man with the star on his chest.
When the gunslinger hit the ground, the marshal asked him why,
The man from the lone star state showed emotion and shed a tear from his eye.
She was just a kid when the gang rode into town,
She was barely sixteen, why did they gun her down.
You finally put me to rest, the anger and hate will finally subside,
And as the gunslinger past away, the marshal finally knew why.

Eye for an Eye

Over-power the masses single-handedly
One against many, against any calamity
Exhaust a man's will
To bend at his own
So what if it kills (him)
--The man has no soul--
Grew stronger by the day
Fueled by love and hate
A ruler and a slave
Together in hell
In a shell as hollow as his name
Unravel deception
As it crept in
Hints and clues
At first obtuse
By looking through
A distorted view

*[chorus]*
Revenge negotiates no truce
When he comes to settle the score
Burning with a short fuse
A napalm death in store
Slay the day, chase the night away
A midnight star now cast astray
Darkness falls before the light of dawn
And in that time, your life will be gone

Regain a power within
As you drain the guilt of sin
--You know where you've been--
Can’t forget so won't forgive
Don’t know how to live and let live
An eye for an eye
And a tooth for a tooth
I still live by an ancient rule
In a modern day of techno tools
Withstanding the strands of time and change
Sent forth to exist on any plane

*[chorus]*
Revenge negotiates no truce
When he comes to settle the score
Burning with a short fuse
A napalm death in store
Slay the day, chase the night away
A midnight star now cast astray
Darkness falls before the light of dawn
And in that time, your life will be gone

Take from me, you will no more
For I am back to settle the score
More powerful than I was before
Stand with no chance
When I hit full-force
Show no mercy when balance is restored
Tip the scale you will no more
All will pay for their one mistake
No escape from my grip that day

*[chorus]*
Revenge negotiates no truce
When he comes to settle the score
Burning with a short fuse
A napalm death in store
Slay the day, chase the night away
A midnight star now cast astray
Darkness falls before the light of dawn
And in that time, your life will be gone

Freedom Was the Death of Me

We rode into Nacogdoches, with our pistols and our Bowie knives,
Volunteers for Texas—we came to risk our lives.
Some of us had families, and others, just the memory,
And some of us they didn’t hardly miss in Kentucky and in Tennessee.

Some of us came for adventure, and others, we came for land;
But at the Alamo down in San Antone we made our last stand.
Some called it glory and some called it greed, and some they called it “Liberty.”
But mostly they called it the Lone Star Republic—so Texas could be free.
But freedom was the death of me.

Colonel Bowie from Louisiana, with a big knife at his side,
He got drunk ‘most every day, but he was sober when he died.
Colonel Travis from Alabama, commander of the Alamo,
He answered Santa Ana with a cannon shot, and he let the world know.
Colonel Crockett, he was laughing—with his men he held the wall.
But the Mexicans, they overcame them, and you know they killed them all.

And the Mexicans kept coming, everyone of them was brave,
But they turned the mission of the Alamo into a heroes’ grave.
Susannah Dickinson, a lady from Tennessee—
Her husband died across his cannon, but Santa Ana let her go free,
With her little girl, she went free.

Santa Ana he grew careless; Sam Houston he laid in wait
Down on the San Jacinto River--Santa Ana met his fate.
Now the tourists load their cameras, in a San Antone motel,
And they buy postcards and they suck on snow-cones, and they stand right where I fell.

Some called it glory and some called it greed, and some they called it “Liberty.”
But mostly they called it the Lone Star Republic, so Texas could be free.
And freedom was the death of me.

When We Must Say Goodbye

There will always be a moment in our lives,
When we must say goodbye
When the breath will cease
The light to go out in our eyes.

For who to see this moment through
When togetherness becomes empty
Where the love of two declines
The life of us removes to be.

Into the open space of time
One soul gives chase
Racing off the cosmic breeze
To seek another lonely place.

   Then into the darkness fall
From tears, shall we attempt to rise
To place a memory in our hearts
Beneath a star lit brilliant sky.

Three stars bright with two stars dim
Six stars placed within the night
One star smiles with a wink
Then gives up all existing light.

Now we sit in this moment of life
When dreams become the teardrop eye
We stand to face in sorrowed strength
When we must say goodbye.

My Shining Star

You went away,
Way too far.
But you will always be,
My shining star.
My star that shines in the sky,
To tell me you’re still there.
You’re my star that always shines,
To tell me you still care.
My star that is always there,
That never loses its shine.
The only one in the sky,
That I always seem to find.
The one that never,
Ever goes away.
Always there,
Where it wills always stay.
It will be there shining down on me,
Whenever I need it.
And also when,
I feel like I need to quit.
And it will be there,
When everything’s not okay.
Because you’re my shining star,
That’s never going away.

Morning Star

Across her village far deep in to the forrest Morning Star found peace and
contentment. Here away from her village, the young girl enjoyed the daylight
hours with the sounds and beauty of nature and it's animals. Beyond the forrest
the mountains held a mystery all their own. Their beauty touched her soul and
spirit yet they seems so far off to her.Her thoughts wondered what lay over them
and what new world lay beyond those haunting peaks reaching to the sky.
Suddenly the early morning was shattered by the sounds of gunfire. With all
the men gone hunting no one was there to protect the village. Morning Star's
thoughts were of not only the others in the village but of her mother and baby
sister, she had to get back to them. Screams of women and children cut through
the forrest as the scent of smoke and the sounds of horses grew closer.
Suddenly the sounds began to fade and only the smell of smoke remained. As
she stood at the clearing, Morning Star saw what was left of her village. Unable to
move as her eyes looked across the bodies of women and children laying all
around. Tears filled her eyes as she walked by so many searching for her
mother and baby sister, hoping that they had fled to safety. There in the dirt lay
her mother clutching her baby sister, both dead. How could this have happened?
How could the soldiers have done this to them?
Morning Star placed a blanket over her their lifeless bodies and slowly walked
away. Her life as she knew it was gone, dead along with her mother and baby
sister. She was the only survivor. Slowly she walked back into the forrest. Dusk
was beginning and the forrest would keep her safe for the night. Tomorrow she
would search for a way up to the mountains, there she would find a path to her
destiny and what the spirits have chosen for her. She would be the only one to
tell the story of all who had been lost this day. She would be the only one to keep
their story alive for generations after this.

Star Princess

There once was a girl who lived all alone, She walked in bare feet on gravel and stone.

No one knew who she was no one knew her name, she watched in the shadows as people called her insane.

Both of her parents had gone up to the skies, Where the moon and the stars stood bravely up high.

Oh how she wished she could see them once more, Then maybe her heart would not be so sore.

One day she said that day will come, When the moon and the stars all become one.

She started to slowly drift off to sleep, Trying verry hard not to weep.

But before she could even start to dream, she heard what sounded like a scream.

She quickly ran to her back yard, and say a great star that wasnt that far.

She quickly ran up to the light, it's five big points shining bright.

She found out that it was a fallen star, a fallen star that had traveled far.

She knew that this star was sent from up above, a gift from her parents sent with love.

She knew what this star meant, she knew why this star was sent.

Her parents missed her and want her to come home, This is great, she will no longer have to be alone.

All she had to do was wish on this star, The star that would make her go far.
She closed her eyes and made her dreams come true, This is hopefully what this star will do.

With a flash of light and a clashing sound, the little girl was no where to be found.

From that day on if you look up in the sky, ignore the lights and planes that pass by.

You'll see three stars stuck togather, you will see them in all different types of weather.

The stars you are seeing are the best, The king, the queen, and the star princess.

Who is this girl look at me, take a guess, look hard and you'll see I am the star princess.

PRAYERS FOR EVERYONE

Hope you can see us from high above.
Help us be strong and brave forever no matter.
Be with us always in every which way you can in your kindness.
I will always find your light and keep it in my young heart in my best way possible.
You left us for a reason and we love you in our hearts.
You saved my life to give yours away which l'll never forget.
It breaks my heart in tears terribly.
Your star will follow me everywhere to guide me in good and bad times.
Your in presence when were in pain and in happiness.
Lead us where we will be safe like the star you carry for each of us.
Let us accept who we are and why were on this earth.
Let your angels carry us where you are so peaceful when our time arrives.
My Prayer, Your Prayer, Our Prayers
Forever in our hearts.
With love always,
Your niece, your family.

THE WOODEN BOAT

The river flowed....
Dark and black
Upon it a wooden boat sped,
on a river we all dread

The sky hung low...
Dirty grey
The wooden boat.....
Sped away

No tiller, no oar....
Yet the wooden boat...
Sped away
Without a ripple or a splash...
Searching for a starflash

The river flowed...
Carrying in depths, so deep,
the souls of the dead
The darkness showed

The wooden boat sped away....
On its' deck...
like a tiny star...
There my soul lay....

The river flowed....
Dark and black....
The sky hung low
Upon the wooden boat....
My soul glowed
Like a tiny star so

The sky turned ,
a dirty black
There was no going back
Down below,
the souls....
Screeched and burned

Upon the wooden deck....
There my soul lay....
The light burning strong
The light, I pray....
Will not go out....
On this darkened day

For all around on this night,
deepest darkest water flowed...
Black as jet
My soul, burned bright....
My soul glowed
The river...
Will not claim me yet

Upon the wooden boat....
A tiny star lay
It was my soul,
being sped away

Upon the wooden boat....
Crossing the river
Dark and black....
Cold shiver,
no turning back

A tiny star...
Left the wooden boat
Up it went
Leaving far below
The river....
dark and black,
The river....
Will always flow

The wooden boat....
Forever searching far...
On a river,dark and black
For a tiny star
No turning back....

A tiny star ,
left a wooden boat
Far behind
Up above....
The light beginning to show
Down below,
a river black and dark,
continued to flow

As for the wooden boat?
On it sped....
On a night as black as coal
Looking for stars amongst the dead
To claim back....
On a river of deepest darkest black
A soul....

Patrick

It's her stupid red shoes,
they make me miss her even more
she'd call me at 9,
she'd want me to come lay under the stars with her
we'd pick out constellations,
naming them after people we once knew
but all i'll hear now is the reminiscence of her
voice over that awkward dial tone
& i'd tell her to find the same star i'm looking at,
as long as that star was still there, we'd be happy
i left monday, i left for good
now all i get is phone calls,
its been weeks,
and weeks,
since that last call
that star burnt out last night
well i got a call,
she killed herself.

Obi-Wan has taught you well

(Dedicated to Sir Alec Guinness who died August 5, 2000.)

You starred in Star wars as a Jedi knight.
Darth Vader killed you during your lightsaber fight.
People still love those Star wars films because they're fun.
It was genius when George Lucas cast you as Obi-Wan.
You returned as a ghost in episodes five and six.
Your contribution improved those three flicks.

Final Wish

Star Light Star Bright, Think of me when you see this star tonight.
Remember the Good Times we had, me an you,
And never forget my love was true blue.
Think of the first time that we chilled, when we met
And remember the last time how terribly upset,
still we always manage to make up in just the nick of time,
For this night the Lord said "Come with me you'll be fine,
enter again to a feeling of bliss and forget all the pain.
There's nothing you've missed so agree to my terms, I'll show you a twist
to replace all your tears you've shed living through your hardest of years.
This is the time an there is the place look beyond the open door the rest of your
life awaits.
Any place you may want, you may need to be, remember the bell means an angel
has wings; so they can give guidance an help others through in the end you may
find the one being helped has been you.
You have the power to change your own life so take my hand for now children,
please Say Goodnight.
