black pebbles and violet streams

star stream
mundane dream...
whispering "everything's alright
she's thriving like a spring fed rose
in saintly gardens
an angel brightly glowing

...of this dream.
i staggered along
a ragged oragami path
through a battlefield of metal devils
quartered living,
faith folding and unfolding
garnished with ogres slinging
burning orbs of fire -haloes of insanity...
this is when
violet star
sashayed in
soothing me
shielding me
her singing rosary
telling me
that she loved and missed my heart
re-fastened our very being with a satin dream kiss
that had tattered in the talon of time...
lifted me across the bloody
broken battered fields
 ...into the arms of forever
where the beat of pristinity only flies

so fly
my love,
fly ever so softly into me
If dreams mean anything
I know it wont be long
till we dance
the dance of butterflies
over green sprigs and lacy things
in a warm wind
in the heart pond of gilded tomorrows,
we'll gently drift about
make origami sunflower love
high upon a gilded glade...

if dreams mean anything
death is just a splash
of black pebbles
in a violet starry stream....
if dreams mean anything

Twinkle, Twinkle

Twinkle, Twinkle

Twinkle, twinkle, little star,
My eyes look up and there you are,
A sparkling diamond up so far—
Twinkle, twinkle little star.

But is this real what I see?
Are you truly there for me?
Or just a wave of light to be
Still beaming through eternity?

You may be gone, not really there,
Long since expired, white dwarf in air—
But still your glow with us you share,
At you, in wonderment, we stare.

Twinkle, twinkle, little star
A sparkling gem of hope you are—
That when we pass, our souls up far
Will twinkle, twinkle like a star,

Like a wave of light to be
Still beaming through eternity.

You Shine Your Light

You shine your light in darkest night
Your beacon burning there so clear
If I had wings then I’d take flight
You shine your light in darkest night
I feel your warmth holding me tight
As in your arms you draw me near
You shine your light in darkest night
Your beacon burning there so clear

Catch a Falling Star

I can’t quite recall
The feel of your fingers
In my hand and

The sound of your voice
Escapes me today,
But I’ll remember it.

What was that song we sang?
Solo I can’t quite get the tune.
No one else thinks it’s funny.

You thought putting
a falling star in your pocket
was silly.

But it’s rainy now
and I need one on this
starless night.

Star Struck

Many nights you’ve graced my sight
fair Orion, hunter and groom to the abyss,
and yet it would seem an eternity
before we would meet and kiss.

Bought you’d be, and brought to me
by the grace of He who waits.
So, when I die my heart can rise
upon your valor’s brace.

He’d rename Hatsya’s famed
so my soul could light the way.
Dearbhla true poetess of love
‘pon Orion’s sword held sway.

And up I’d rise at my demise
to crest the sky and space.

The King Of Pop

from his abc's
to that freaky billy jean

came a pop star
for all to love and see

from the apollo's stage
wondered if you were ready for screaming rage

for you never had a childhood of bliss
only done what was on joseph's list

a studded white glove
and white socks just because

a star on the hollywood walk of fame
for you sang and danced showing no shame

scandals of twisted truth
did not detour you from your missing youth

neverland was your own safari escape
who would figure your best friend would be a chimp of faith

michael may god cradle you in his arms
and basked in your king of pops worldly charm

will forever miss that porcelain smile
and always think of you on my radio dial

for now your at your heavens trial
may god forgive this lost and lonely child

dad army

Dad´s Army

On the Milky Way a black cloud appeared,
not dark as the night, but as a whole year
of winter nights put together and blended
with stygian thoughts of a suicidal dictator.
Then slowly the cloud began to dissipate,
became whispery as Fidel Castro´s beard.
…And there, on blue silk, a new born star,
unexciting at first but it grew stronger by
the galaxy minute- which last a bit longer
than on earth-, till it one day sparkled with
pride especially around Christmas.
The moment a new star is born an old star
lights up, like northern light, for so to fall
into perpetuity, and I shall not see my old
friend Clive Dunn again.

Death of A Rock Star - Jim Morrison

DEATH OF A ROCK STAR (Jim Morrison)
There's a man all alone and his name is well known
but he thinks all the world is a den
of the poor and the weak and the too dead to speak
for themselves, it's a game they can't win.

He's a little bit high and he'll be til we die
it's too bad that his heart is so black,
but he knows how to sing to a crowd and to bring
out the love that they've been holding back.

It's a game that he plays with your life and he stays
just as long as the music goes on,
and he'll make you to smile if it's only a while,
then he goes where the devil has gone.

All the girls that he's had think it's not all that bad
but the glitter's too much for their mind
so they leave him to sleep where no angel would keep
anyone for there's not one to find.

He could write every word of the songs we have heard
and he's led every daughter astray
to be part of his past and a love that won't last
into light of another new day.

Now he looks for the cause of the reason he was
Though he's died, he's still misunderstood,
but the dream's been too dead for too long in his head
and his heart's turned to stone as it should.

Sweet child of mine

The stars they used to bring tears to my eyes
Dark skies, I cried as I prayed for daylight
You were my fragment of pain
I became swallowed in memorys of darkness
That used to come and go so haunting, the loss of you
Still is killing me, for you were gone so suddenly..

My first child
My first love
Now all I have left
Are the stars above
Not to mention
The glow of the moon
That always reminds me
That you were taken too soon
Tears fall down my cheeks
When your name is spoken, that's when
These demons become awoken
The heartbreak
The despair
Losing your child
Is too much to bear
Sleepless nights
Dreams full of terror
Seeing the pain in your eyes
Everytime you look in the mirror

I can look at the stars now
With hope, instead of pain
You my child, did not die in vain
You will live through me, glow bright star
Glow.. Glow for me
And for all of
The mommys to see
Be my guidance, keep me from the ledge
To you child, this I pledge:

I see your glow and I can now smile
Though I might shed a tear every once and a while
Just because, I'm missing you
But I promise I will pull through

Thank you spirits
Thank you stars
For welcoming my child
With open arms
Keep him safe
Give him love
And let him know I am with him
Everytime I look above..

A New Day

I might sparkle in the night but I'm not the only star you might not see them in the sky it depends on where you are Am I the only light in your eyes that makes you smile when you cry if your favorite's what you say don't you blink it might fade away Only when we give everything we're truly ready for better things we invite ourselves off to drift the steam rises and our spirits lift Follow me, into sun sets be brave and strong with no regrets and when the sea takes the light we'll find a new day after the night there's still a new day after the night

Last Breath

You were a shining Star.
Few of many in the sky.
Looking up so very high,
Not knowing why you are.

Close and set you are far.
Spinning flames knot a tie,
I note a pattern just like pi.
Colliding with me you spar.

So burn it up and burn away,
Sow your heart upon a plane.
Chart your distance in the clay.
Burn it all up then call it sane.

The explosion in the sky is His death.
All burned up He has no last breath.

The Death Star Blues

The Death Star Blues

Lord of the Sith my Destiny to Rule
Challenging me you must be a fool
Strengthened by the Dark side of the Force
Rebel Alliance tries to knock me off course

I found the fighters they're in my sight
The Dark Side I use with all my might
Young Jedi you cannot escape
I am the Master I wear a black cape

Closing in I've got you now
Knocked off course, where, what, and how
As I flee into space that's so black
Plans I make to return and Strike Back

My beautiful Death Star is gone and now blasted
To Mos Eisley I'll go, to the bar and get plastered

I will return, Young Skywalker

In Her Teen

We know her future could be bright
If not for death that snatched her dream
She was the queen among her mates
The few she left here said it all

If not for death that snatched her dream
While on earth she nurtured the best
The few she left here said it all
A jewel worth many to pens

While on earth she nurtured the best
She was the queen of her mates
The few she left here said it all
We know her future could be bright

Fame and Stardom

Attainment of success, stardom and fame
Remains the ultimate dream of many
Who seek the publication of their name
Upon the future pages of history

The journey to such a destination
Requires effort and dedication
Those who at last gain such recognition
Enjoy a well deserved satisfaction

Some celebrities who make this journey
Find coping with this new life can be rough
There's an invasion of their privacy
And the demands of stardom can be tough

They then turn to some drug to ease the stress
Whether it's alcohol or other stuff
Soon their entire life can become a mess
And dealing with it's pressures can be rough

Bouts of anxiety and depression
Are what they have to endure constantly
Some develop a serious addiction
That may lead to suicidial tendency

Women tend to choose a gentler ending
Like drug overdose or a means that's neat
Some may opt to end it all by hanging
Mindful not to mess up the body sheath

Some men go for a violent ending
By putting a bullet through their own head
Others jump off a bridge or tall building
Seeking to ensure that they will be dead

Those aspiring to fame and stardom
Pursue your dream and goal diligently
Just be mindful of how things can become
And seek to be guided accordingly

Whitney Houston(singer, actress) – drug overdose
L'Wren Scott(fashion designer, model) - hanging
Kurt Cobain(singer, songwriter) – bullet to head
Tony Scott(Academy award winning actor) – jumped off bridge

The Great Star Wolf

Alone he stands looking up to the "Great Star Wolf"
the highest ranking of the great chain
ready to make his claim

Sending him short prayers no longer howling to the moon
but to the "Great Star Wolf" to lead his soul
so he might take his rightful role

Into the Cave of Souls he'll go for legend is foretold
becoming part of the "Great Star Wolves" constellation
a tiny star you will see because now he is free.

North Star

Let your fate take root
On hard rock, tangle and bury
Before the coming storm.

and before the coming of the storm
amidst a garden of your crafting
Beliefs and memories planted
and like seeds watered
Take root amidst your cherished greens
Take hand in hand your
and brace with rooted tangled feat
The coming storm
Come to wash away
come to whisk away;

This is a magical storm
something fantastical
	like myth was born
from your hands, as you shake them left to right
and wrestle from them
trample on your well-trodden soil
and in waves bead your sweaty water
shelter little sprouting
take shelter in his shadow,

Did you nurture your garden?
like I have nurtured mine
	mine, lush with little ideas
lush with my graceful evasion
of duties unwatered
moments hoarded
lush with little trees, that in my shadow
do not grow,
and their little fruits, so sour born
Yours, that garden, a gnarled tree
posies tangled on mangled fields
bounties of fruit, in your mangroves
	children of our labor
all alike stand before the storm,
Dark clouds gather, broil forth like no afterthought
an army summoned to war, the tax collector come for dues
and bubbling forth
Comes lightning and thunder like sickle and torch
Come to reap the song and sun:

and it is in this shadow they finally grow
and gnarled hand takes my own
-I will not rot away on my own
I stand before my fated choices
and together
our bonds new, old and gnarled
stand firm these moment’s beliefs and
children and parent, arms locked, heads on shoulders both
eyes cast out and tears exhumed
before the coming storm

Our legs take root in our
garden soil
and we cling to what
we know
we hold to what knows
but the storm is just
so grand
and our roots are just
so shallow.

A New Hope? (Not Star Wars)

Cleaner air

No more despair

Fighting stopped

Doves they do flock

Together we rock

United Nations mock

We live as one

God has no more song

New year start

Forget terrors heart

If you think this will happen

Think again you dreaming marder

As long as the earth spins

Evil has to embark her

This is not a Care Bear® story

We dont live in the clouds with clowns

Finding the lost unicorn is not our biggest worry

Stop smoking and come back down

Until the day comes where we must unite

To save the world from Klingons and fight

We will always argue over who came first

Science, religion, Jehovahs witness, or mothers giving birth

Thats just the way nature is, beautiful but full of hate

You dont see the Lion and the Buck high fiving

As they sip tea on the porch and talk about the hippos weight

They must survive and kill just like the humans trait

So tell John Lennon he made a great song about Let it Be

But also tell him hes more likely to see the DoDo on Discovery

Not that I dont agree.....

I would love to see the world in unity

Earth has man, and man is what is killing me

Until man dies there will never be hope of loyalty

To my mother earth........

The Major Star

The major star who was hundreds of centuries old
was finally dieing yet not in vain, for with its death
comes new life and new planets formed as it splinters

Water so cool and clear
life giving to all our worlds
stars birth formed you

As a star dies the gases ignite and fuse into droplets
these then are carried to other worlds to start new life
Scientists believe that all life came from these deaths

Moonshine beams dancing
causing flickering shadows
that dance joyously

Our own moon and all the sun's orbiting planets were
formed in one of these explosions. All we see and touch
came from a dieing major star

Sunbeams hit the water
refracting and enhancing
the crystal river
Sometime in the future our own major star the Sun will
die leaving life as we know it gone yet as prophets
have said death is the start of rebirth so lets enjoy our stars

Stars hide their faces
behind the fluffy white cloud
just an odd twinkle

Death of a Star

It seemed so long ago, my star was born
Pure white brilliance, blinding and warm
A beauty unrivaled by queens and kings
Even more fair than Saturn's rings

Pulled into orbit against my will
I was shaken and given more than my fill
There I was plucked from my Pleiades
Lightened and darkened and brought to my knees

So when did it all go so wrong
The starting of a mighty collision
Who silenced the sonorous song
And first foresaw this asteroidal vision

Was it Sagittarius's sharp arrow
Or Electra, my own sister star
Do I dare pick up the nebular bow
And battle this fearsome quasar

The galaxies began at once to collide
Gravitationally turned with nowhere to hide
My clear, radiant star fought at my right arm
Struggled and warred to inflict lasting harm

But the loathsome rival was too strong
The fray too immense, too harsh and too long
Luminosity of my star was brighter than the sun
And then came the explosion, the evil deed was done

It seemed so long ago, my star was born
Pure white brilliance, blinding and warm
A beauty unrivaled by queens and kings
Even more fair than Saturn's rings

Now I'm iced over, my flame turned blue
I'm moved aside and left in the view
Swallowed and shadowed, mourning my star's dark death
Left in its place, a black hole loved nonetheless.

Her external beauty
matches her internal one;
I call her a brilliant star
so unique, majestic and pretty.

In her delicate, affectionate and womanly embrace:
love is expressed immensely,
as I feel loved with a praise...
remembering her with that certain spark of sensuality.

Other women have loved me honestly and sweetly,
but not enough to create a lasting bond...
to start a legacy perpetuated in memory
as of those who can be recognized in any crowd.

Humble woman of unsung virtues, I will adorn, at last...
your strands of gray hair with beautiful diamonds:
if neither honor nor glory will be given before your death:
I will proclaim you a brilliant star...the envy of others!

Tough As Nails

Hopeful doesn’t mean stupid
That doesn’t mean I wasn’t stupid
I was in a state and messed up
Simple as that.

I could dramatize
Spill all the stars from my eyes and mouth and cry out for answers but,
I won’t.
My spirit can dance alone.
A lapse in judgement will not throw it off beat because it dances to a cosmic drum. My heartbeat and no one else’s.

Dropped my shield
Set myself on fire
Burned up a daft dream
And fell to ashes.

I’ve proven to relate to the phoenix
Both of us know what it’s like to die a quick death and come back stronger
Time and time again
Our ashes swirl into the manifestation of our desires and in that I find my comfort.

Hard topped, granite counters
Tough as nails kid
But kid is man or at least he pretends to be.

Smart phones aren’t so smart but, I’m writing this on one
Sedatives and sad, country music mood swims through my veins.

Excuse me, while I go have a drink with that phoenix.

My Forever Shining Star

All the oceans in the world
Can’t hold the tears I’ve cried
Nothing in this world
Can take away this pain inside

I can’t believe you’re gone from me
I can’t believe its true
I never wanted memories
I only wanted you

I miss the little things you said
Those words that meant so much
I miss your eyes, your laugh, your smile
I miss your every touch

I miss you every morning
Every night and every day
I’d give all my tomorrows
For just one more yesterday

When they asked what words I want
Engraved upon your stone
The only words that I could say
Were ‘darling please come home’

You were my every reason
My hopes and all my dreams
Someone to believe in
When I questioned what life means

Always there to guide me
My forever shining star
I’d give my all to have you here
Or be there where you are

In a world of changes
It’s the soul that never dies
In a world of strangers
I still see me in your eyes

This pain will never go away
My shattered heart wont mend
Lonely days and empty nights
Are now my only friend

But if you’re looking down from up in Heaven
You will see
That part of you forever more
Will be a part of me...

One Soul Can Change

The thought of death can bring me fear,
The thought of her will bring a tear.
Real as the person sitting next to you,
Growing old but starting young and new,
The world revolves around a thought,
Of money and fame; until your body starts to rot.
Then the world becomes a blur to one,
Seeing the light; seeing which of your ways were right.
Left-right-side to side,
We take on this journey; this ride.
To find answers and truth in the lines,
Looking back at the life liven; and where your heart shines.
So as you read this you have a chance,
To look at your own story; just take the glance,
Because one soul can change its ways,
One mind can make new plays.
Pulling each memory back like a book,
Small eyes squinting to take a close look,
Who are you when no ones there,
Who are you when others stare?
Questions to be asked when death is talked about,
Voices in your head began to shout,
What is life, what is my reason,
Each year passes by; each month; each season,
My body grows older but my heart stays clear
Understanding to over come death as a fear.
As this poem is about to end,
Hold out your hand for a friend,
Pull close and know that life is precious;real talk,
Pull close and know that you walk your own walk,
The outsiders and can talk about past and the ups and downs,
But their kind of like the funny people on the side; the clowns.
So head up ; feet low,
Arms strong; to get through the tough; now row,
Don't give up just be yourself,
Like putting the old toy upon the shelf,
Become the star that's bright and known,
Become the star that you know can be shown.

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

Twinkle twinkle little star.
I no longer wonder what you are.
Because of one much like you who died so very long ago,
the Milky Way and all its contents to that departed star we all owe.
Your sister died and through her death she created the birth
of other stars, our solar system as well as all life here on earth.
If I were to witness the death of a star
my heart would be so filled with such great adulation.
For if I were to witness the death of a star
I'd be witnessing a moment much like our creation.
So the next time someone asks you where you're from
tell them that you come from a place very far.
A far away place out there in outer space,
Created in the heart of a star.

Fond Memories Of My Dad From Dustin

I want to share a few, Fond memories of my dad, With an experience or two, Of the times together we had. He was a carpenter by trade, Just like Jesus used to be, But the full time job with mom he made, Was taking care of me. I remember things we did together, When I was five years old, My first fishing trip, buying my first heifer, And letting me ride a steer in a rodeo. Fixing a racecar up together was fun, It was for me to race someday, Even though it was work that was done, It seemed more like play. It was in April of 2001, When my dad helped me find a steer, I named him Blazer and he was the one, That I thought would bring a winning year. I looked forward to the pick up day to be, When my dad would be breaking in the steer, And it would be just dad and me, Because my mom, of that, she had a fear. Before he had a chance to break her in, He had a heart attack and had to rest, He told me that I’d have to step in, And just try to do my best. I was a little worried and not so sure, If I could even really do this stuff, And since it had always been my dad before, I waited for my dad to guide me when he had strength enough. My dad wanted to help me more but he was too sick, So I tried even harder this time around, And Blazer sure didn’t like the show stick, But I finally got him to walk with me on the ground. And the time came that I knew then, Blazer would be ready for the Auction show, But my dad had another heart attack again, And I realized there was life lesson for me to know. The lesson that I have learned here, Is that sometimes we really do, Take for granted our family will always be there, But you never know when they won’t be able to help you. As the brightest star in the sky, Reminds me of Nana, my dad’s mother, There is now another bright star near by, For dad and the love we shared with each other. Lucky White Star

I miss watching my Luck man run,
Sweat glistening in the morning sun;

The smell of leather in the frigid air,
Tossing his head without a care;

The soft sounds of the stable yard,
The only place I let down my guard;

Telling secrets to my horse,
Just letting nature take it’s course;

The confidence he gave to me,
My Lucky boy, my trusty steed;

He leant me courage I never had,
He was always there, through good or bad;

My shoulder to lean on, by best friend,
He was there for me up to the end.

A Concert For Death In My Symphonic Life

At night I like to look to the sky and remember the lost ones by whom I'm inspired The angels Rena, Toni, Jeromiah, and David all showed me something, how can I repay them? My heros whos lives, troubled like mine yet never once did they ever fail to shine even as they thought they mattered not I noticed the love for the life through they fought every time they woke from the bed until one by one, my heros, fell dead When I remember, even though, ago long, I look to the heavens, and sing them a song. I feel them smile, and clap for another I give it all my love, like I do Teddy and Randy, my brothers who pulled me out of the hole in my head and gave me the strength to carry the dead into my concert, a symphonic life for its what they give me, when we get lost in the night.

Star Death

Out beyond the window
Deep within the sky
My eyes trace the light
The specks of hope
So few in the cascade of night

How can it be possible
To stare yonder
And be swallowed
Falling in an abyss
Flailing for a holding

Twisting in my gut
An unwanted knowing
Shredding my being
Siphoning liquid from eyes
Destroying all that was

Binding me to the specks
Only able to observe
Undiscovered in the darkness
When the time comes to be your star
I’ll already have become a black hole

she thought i couldn't write a song NOT about DOPE, DEATH AND DESTRUCTION

this was written strictly because she wanted to bet and i won!

I will sing you to a star
No matter how very far
I will bring you to the sun
No matter how slow or fast we run

The skies will play you a rhapsody
But I will write and arrange the melody
A reverie will reveal itself within your amber eyes
as angels sing harmony to your softened sighs

I will take you with my song to peaceful universe
And while we’re there I’ll write you another lovely verse
This one will be about our love sanctified and so strong
And we will reside there no matter how short or long

I will tell the strings to play pianissimo if you please
And you will giggle when a moonbeam tickles you to tease
Your beauty will write the words and by I the music made
But honey, we must hurry before that star begins to fade

So let me play you a symphony with the silken strings of my heart
And as we take flight we’ll hear the piano play its pertinent part
I will conduct the orchestra as conductors always do
And when I swear to sing you to a star sweetheart, believe that it’s all true
