A Butterfly Inside --The Butterfly Flutters By

I feel a butterfly inside;
Its wings are cramped within my breast.
The weight of flesh, o dull cocoon,
Prohibits my free flight. At best
I only soar inside; my wings--
Gossamer, light, remain untried.
I wait...I wait...until the day
The barred' cage is flung aside
And airy wings lift toward the skies.

I have felt this graceful creature
Flutter faintly deep inside;
Then, at times, so ardently,
I think no way will it abide!
It will be loosed! Its wish to fly
Will push the bars of flesh aside.
Determined is this butterfly
To show its colors multiplied
And wing its way through azure skies.

The time is drawing near, I'm sure;
The throbbing swells within my heart.
The cumbrous cocoon, filled with life,
Is bursting now, falling apart.
The butterfly is breaking free;
No more its wings will tightly furl,
But lightly spread upon the breeze
Their filmy webs, gilded and pearled...
The butterfly flutters by the world...

She Liked Butterflies

She Liked Butterflies

With a youthful spirit;
She laughed in the breeze.
Dancing in the wind;
Lighting on trees.

Golden haired child;
A laugh like sunshine.
Beautiful , free, and wild;
Artistically inclined.

One day she decided to fly away;
In a letter she said her good-byes.
When asked about her, I say;
She liked butterflies.

Her spirit now flutters free;
With her bright colored friends with wings.
Sometimes I think I can see;
Her… among life’s most beautiful things.

In the summer when the Monarchs return;
There is always one in the midst of the rest.
Where they gather together in the wild mountain ferns;
Who appears to me as an honored guest.

Then she flies away once more;
For she was never meant to stay.
Like she did many years before;
To return another summer day.

Fly-Fly-O, Butterfly

                       Fly
                       Fly
                 O, butterfly
               This little boy
With a gun, thinking, it’s just a toy
                       Fly
                       Fly
                 O, butterfly
               This little boy
A soldier he is, yet still, he’s a boy
                       Fly
                       Fly
                 O, butterfly
               This little boy
Learned to fire, ‘cos of indecent lie
                        Fly
                        Fly
                  O, butterfly
                This little boy
He’s badly wounded, ‘cos of his toy
                       Fly
                       Fly
                 O, butterfly
               This little boy
No longer a soldier, nor, a little boy
                        Fly
                        Fly
                  O, butterfly
                This little boy
Not breathing, so he can not tell a lie
                         Fly
                         Fly
                   O, butterfly
                 This little boy
Show him, your world, without a gun
                          Fly
                          Fly
                    O, butterfly
                 This little boy
Tell him, he’s still a boy, not a soldier
                          Fly
                          Fly
                    O, butterfly
                 This little boy
Warn him, he’ll get hurt, when he fire
                           Fly
                           Fly
                     O, butterfly
                  This little boy
Guide his soul, to Enchanted Kingdom

The Raven, the Crow, and the Dead Poet

Circling above on a sun shiny day
The raven twirls within his dreams
Of horrors soon to be inflicted
Soaring in the skies

The Preacher reads from the holy book
Collections duly collected on chanted psalms
The raven above with a sinister smile
He knew god’s plate was not full enough

Dark clouds from the east flew with the wind
Under the ravens command
As lightening struck the village steeple
Fire and brimstone, hell on earth

Humans who once lived by their daily bread
Became the bread of crows
Telegraph poles free to weep the news
As the crows feasted on the burnt flesh of our sins

The ravens’ heart pleased to share his torment
Amongst the brethren of feathered dark angels
The greed of humans shall be ridden of this earth
Crooned the raven under the spotlight of the devils moon

All were dead, the children too
All but one lone poet, so it seemed
Arms outstretched, clasping at pen and ink
Dying, dying to tell this black tale

Now, in tranquility, lies the village graveyard
Somber, quiet, flowers cover the horrors
Of that unholy day, of the ravens sins
His laughter echoes, echoes the pain

It is said, in the heat of summer nights
Crows sing and dance
As they feast on the remains
Of us, all of us, poets and all

Beside the village in the swamp
On that a very somber twisted day
An alligator lazed upon the shores
She, the only witness, to this feathered fiendish crime

In stealth she watched, scales of justice
A billion years of Gods creation
She slithered towards the stench of death
Teeth primed for an easy meal

A baby, oh so small, shivering in a fog of illusions
Looked into the eyes of the raven above
She saw that hell may very well come from above, not below
She resigned her baby cries to eternity, momma dead and gone

The alligator, teeth sharpened by natures instinct
Darted forth, and jaws stretched, swallows the baby whole
Slithering back towards the swamps shadows
The raven provided this nights’ meals gratuit

She spit out the baby, and licked her cheeks
Providing both substance and loving warmth
Hell may live above
Mercy and compassion may come from the swamp

High in the sky
The Raven
Lost this little one
The Butterfly smiled

Opera of the Raven

I fly
Blood flows like a river below
I dance
Scattered bones
I dance
Crows feast on dead souls
I dance
The moon becomes full
The night becomes a stage
The curtain drops
I sing
Capella from the chapel of the stars
Andante so they all die a slow painful death
Inert bodies pile under the stage
I fly away

Tainted Butterfly

This is my life, don't you see Pure jealousy has taken over me My wings clipped and my neck broken The demon inside of me has awoken You left me heart and soul for the last time Your words spoken as I caused the true crime My body dies down and the cold breaks me down Once upon my head, now on the ground a shattered crown My lungs seize to take in more air But i tell myself... he doesn't care... I take my last breath and close my eyes My heart says goodbye to the mournful cries They all stand around and look down at me there Some say I deserved it, some say is was unfair An untimely death was one I was destined to behold But this death was certainly... the most utterly cold Hand placed upon my chest and my body dressed all in black The memories of my in their hearts begin to lack Lowered below the ground my body is taken Never again for the butterfly to awaken

In Memory

She lay upon her bed of pain;
The chrysalis grew dull and gray;
The colors which we knew as her
Were fading fast, so fast, away;
But, underneath the fragile clay,
We saw new colors burning through
Of soul triumphant in its flight
Approaching Glory's avenue.
It seemed we heart her spirit groan,
Her frail flesh tremble 'neath the weight
Of wings fast-pulsing with new life
And yearning for the Infinite.

She's free! Her dewy wings soft-dried
By hovering angel's gentle breath
Have lifted once, now twice they stir
And find the air: can this be death?

For Him

Hi. If you are reading this letter, then i know my wife has chosen you. This is to serve as my last writing directed to you after my death. Please note she has never read this letter. I would like to welcome you and thank you for choosing her over all the beautiful women in the world. I hardly know you but I'm willing to trust and respect your presence in her life and that you'll bring nothing but joy. Strongly i hope you feel exactly the same as she does, after all she chose to give you this letter. No one can replace our love, but that does not mean you should build a bridge between my past life with her. Do not attempt reshuffling her heart, empathy, sensitivity or replacing what i planted in her heart. Our tree of love will continue growing. Please take good care of her heart as it’s not billable.

Her tears of joy are always ready to explode. Every night has been a page in our love book. So please do not change the theme as you will be forced to adjust the ending. I so much wanted to continue writing our book but i had to off ramp my journey with her as the cancer was forcefully blocking my way. She doesn't know that. My fingerprints on her smiles never got damaged and the footsteps i wrote on her body never sounded fictional. If you look at the corner of her lips she owns no dark secrets. She gets rewarded for every risk she puts her family in. Her wheelchair has never had a flat tire, but if it does please contact bible services on psalm they fix everything.

What i noticed is that she loved checking up the Christianity call centres within the bible phone book. The numbers will never change, only agents do so keep encouraging her to make calls. She used to randomly open the book and choose a page with her eyes closed. Even though she sometimes looked lost she always found the right pages. I hope it’s not too much to ask, but please allow her to visit on our birthday and that's every three days before the New Year. That is the only time i could turn to the other side on my grave. Plus the funeral cover promised us non of its pillows in my coffin. Do not make yes an answer to every call made by my parents. We owe them nothing, infect i haven’t spoken to them in ten years.

With all that said she will blow your mind if you let her.

Thank you

Haiku 5 - mournful cries, way of nature, flight into eternity

mournful cries fill the air
mother bird calling for its baby
eaten by the cat

mantis catches butterfly
I am sad: yet, that is
the way of nature

loud feathered thud
- flight into eternity

Unknown

Who am I?
Am I defined by what is near in sight?
Am I defined by what I have done,
Or am I defined by what I could become?

Perhaps I'm of no use.
To him, or her, or I, nor you.
Or perhaps I'm too misunderstood to be defined,
And it is something like understanding that comes in time.

And if to the world I'm never shown,
Yet in my own light I've grown and grown,
And so I can know no happiness but my own--
The reason for my smile, to you, will forever be unknown.

I do not pray for the world to know my name.
For it and verse; the letters are the same.
And if a man should find his sorrow in what he reads,
I pray his pain my words to keep.

Should his eyes rain on my page,
Better tears than storms of rage.
And if a man should find his sorrow in what he reads.
I pray his pain my words to keep.

And if to the world you're never shown,
Yet in your own light you've grown and grown,
And so you know no happiness but your own.
Let the reason for your smile, to you, only be known.

LAME BUTTERFLY

    LAME BUTTERFLY
I look through the dark where the rockets are soaring,
and go through another bleak Fourth of July,
remembering summer and when it was raining.
Forgetting you is a lame butterfly.

I do not feel cold, nor a warm wind, if blowing,
I've emptied my mind of our seasonal high;
flamingos are dancing sky rockets are bursting,
If I could forget, I'd never know why.

I look to the heavens where your face is smiling,
ten thousands of sparklers have lighted the sky,
I feel your percussion. You go on forever.
Forgetting you is to make love a lie.

The more I forget you the more I remember
sweet smelling of rain on our Fourth of July.
There's got to be somewhere we won't be forbidden
Forgetting you. It's a lame butterfly.

LETS OPINION BE DIFFERENT

Let's opinion be different so there is story
I do not like to air criticism
I just only like to ask
And the question itself will be criticism
Criticism on people who were asked
If to ask would be more prudent
Criticism is quite violent
I am so afraid of violence
I have to use the technique
Technique to ask with its critique
And that is certainly more painful
Like a snake that run along quiet
But the extract of poison is very painful
I also laughed when criticism aired among
True indeed…

Translation...

PENDAPAT BIAR BERBEZA
Oleh Neldy Jolo

Biarkan pendapat itu berbeza jadi ada cerita
Aku tidak suka berkritik
Aku suka sahaja betanya
Dan pertanyaan itu sendiri akan jadi kritikan
Kritikan pada orang yang ditanya
Kalau bertanya akan lebih berhemah
Mengkritik itu agak keras
Aku sangat takut kekerasan
Aku kena menggunakan teknik
Teknik bertanya dengan kritikan bersamanya
Dan yang pastinya itu lebih pedih
Ibarat ular yang menyusur tenang
Tetapi bisanya sangat pedih
Aku juga tertawa bila berkritikan sesama
Benar belaka…

Butterfly On A Battlefield

"Butterfly on a Battlefield" by T.C.Fulton

    I'm just a butterfly... on a battlefield..
Just a worm.. without a voice..
I gaze at the world... in a distant place..
      Just a victim.. of choice..
Now they say .. I'm beautiful..
          They never saw me.. crawling..
 So disgraced.. nowhere to hide..
           Empty .. and appalling..
So now it's you.. looking ugly..
     Fighting.. struggling.. bleeding.. dying..
 Nothing beautiful.. about your fear..
        Nothing simple.. in your sunset..
All the complexity.. of your years.. in your face..
       Simply fades..
The candle in your eyes.. burns out..
My surprise.. is when you smile...at me..
Somehow I am beautiful in all of this..
Me.. with all my flaws.. a parasite .. some say..
Now I'm some kind of angel ..transcending madness..
The funny thing is.. I haven't changed..
You.. the soldier.. finally noticed me..
I guess it's never too late...

COCOON

      COCOON
I do appreciate that you are here
but one day soon I know you'll disappear
into the mist
I'll fly on butterfly wings.

I know you see someone you think is me
but nothing's really what it seems to be,
it's just a dream
that flies on butterfly wings.

It's not that I don't care, you know I do
and you can feel it, when I think of you
and when I fly
I'll fly on butterfly wings.

White light.
All my life a bright light
all my life a sweet ride, on butterfly wings.
Highway.
Always going my way
I will go on my way, on butterfly wings.
Out there
I'll be going somewhere
and I'm going to get there, on butterfly wings
Bright light
never ending white light
all my life a sweet ride, on butterfly wings.

Butterfly Spirits

When you walk outside into the open air
When you look around at all the beauty everywhere
Think of butterflies fluttering all around
Filling the atmosphere from the sky to the ground
When you feel the wind across your face
Remember my love is all over the place
When you see one lone butterfly fluttering by with such beauty and grace
Think of me and the last time you saw a smile on my face
Remember the joy we shared in our lifetime together
The bond we shared was the most precious treasure
You are blessed with memories of our years on earth
Just as God blessed me on the day of your birth
I have moved on to a glorious place
But daily I am still blessed with your loving face
When you see a butterfly, think of me
That is my spirit flying high and free
I watch over you my dear loved ones, each day and night
I am so proud of your choices to live your life right
My love for all of you will continue to flow
I miss throwing my arms around you more than you know
I am flying with Angels in the Heaven’s above
We watch over you always and send down our love
Look for the butterflies with colors so bright
For they host the spirits of loved ones now out of sight
You must keep your chin up and take care of yourself
But remember God sends His Angels to sometimes help
When you least expect it, at a time of great need
That’s when an Angel appears to do a good deed
Keep your eyes open and be prepared
Great blessings will be upon you when you’re least aware
Watch for the butterflies as they flutter around
They will soon appear in your life when they are less likely to be found
My heart is with you as I watch from afar
Angels walk with you wherever you are
Trust in my word and know that many blessings are upon you
For God has sent Angels who will help you through
Hold memories close and cherish those in your life with love
Trust in my word and in the Lord above

For Tonight I'll Cry

By: Tyner Twine

No one knew it was coming,
No one knew that you’ll be leaving
No one knew you were hurting,
No one knew you were dying.

Amongst the bright lights of the festivity,
Yours slowly starts to fade,
It hurts more to know the reality
That nothing can ever be done or said

Memories of my hands holding your tiny body
And memories of when I saved your life
I thought everything will be steady
But now, you’ve left our family.

I feel so shallow
As despair starts to swallow
Guilt starts to follow…
I feel so hallow

I wish there was more time to be with you
Turn back time so I won’t cry like this
Keep you close to me,
At least before you close your eyes.

What’s so hard is I can’t ever deny
Is the fact that I
Wasn’t even by your side
At least to say goodbye.

Outside, the stars shine
The winds sighs,
In your humble grave you lie,
There goes the white butterfly
So for tonight I’ll cry

Butterfly

Her nature was gentle, and as soft as the rain
A butterfly so fragile, with procelin skin
Fragrant blossom, nectar sweet
Bathed in humbled innocence...
Entrapment came regaled in white
With western charms, this wasp would sting
He picked this budding branch with false intent
His kisses spent, upon her dainty cheeks
So into bliss she flew, caught by wily arms
and promises of love, with no intent to keep
With fickle breath he stole her heart
And played the part without a thought, without a care
He was an actor upon this stage....the cage
a nuptial made as thin as air

He said farewell, with lies and smiles
To sail awhile, across the rolling seas
Leaving needles in her heart
Her frail wings pierced upon the day
And when those falsehoods sailed, her love impaled
While far away, he spent his charms in other arms

Her face would stare upon the tides
Her eyes would cry soliloquies
Her song would yearn...would he return?
Her trust swept into waves...
And then a year or more would pass,
The child she bore, stood by her side...
And still love lasts, and while she waits, the ocean breeze
would carry on, those restless seas, the haunting song ....
Would carry on and on....she calls.........she calls his name...

With futile hopes to ease her pain
Her shame to learn the truth, and then to finally learn
Another shore......another bride!!
Another shore......another bed......to learn such truth...the final dread!
She cannot lift her head...the loss....the pain.....! OH! Hide thy face!
Oh! Such disgrace...an honor black with shame
What cannot be erased.......too much is dead!

Her death will free the fragile wings
Upon her knees, the final bend
By her own hand......her father's knife
Will take the life of Butterfly. BUTTERFLY!! Butterfly! ....butterfly!....

Home By Dawn

My battery fully charged the week is brand new all the lost loved ones are telling me thank you for bringing them to life in my memory yesterday now I am ready to win in any way and nothing can hold me back from my dreams people are staring in utter disbelief they think the devil has contracted my life little do they know I took the path to the right and now I am reaping the rewards in my struggle so much so that now I've reduced my enemies to rubble and now I am standing on the power of my own alive in the jungle of my mind, my kingdom, I'm home to see the new dawn and for all those now gone I will always remember you and your spirit will live on.

A Butterfly Of Life

In the shadow of the passing and in swing of eternity,
you said Life.
By the wings, you stepped flying through the path without mercy
and through the path of a happiness,
you protected your the most dearest ones,
brothers and sisters, daughters and sons,
and all their life companions
and your dear grandchildren.

You're leaving a trace etched like a golden thread
waving in the eternity
for all coming generations,
your proud blood.

That Proud Blood today is standing tall here and testify
about majesty, about you, holding head straight
in such heavy time,
in time where your story ends
but it's giving a hope and defies the future.

So Butterfly Of Life, my grandma, wave strongly your wings
for the last time, because your Life,
by a testimony of the presents, will stay written
in Our Hearts, on The Wall Of The Happiness,
where Giants rest in peace,
till The End Of Time.

As I rise this day

As I rise this day,

thoughts of you go through my mind.

I thank you for another day,

I pray I can do things your way.

The winter is in full bloom Lord,

the chill in the air today is cutting

through the trees,

The branches are crisp and the sky is cloudy,

I pray the day is warmed by your touch,

Lord,I love you so much.

The day is beginning now,

help me to live a life today

that glorifys thy name.

Butterflies

Whenever I think of you
I wonder what am I to do
Standing on the ledge
Leaning into the edge
Arms unfurl
Into another world
Falling for the ground
Soaring into the sound

I smile

A million butterflies
Wing me ever so high
Into a realm of dreams
Into a calm of extremes
A million butterflies
Floating through the skies
I speak your name
I keep your flame
A million butterflies
Lay me down by your side
Waving my arms in command
A million butterflies understand
They swirl and swoon away
Like diamonds in the sun's rays
I feel the softness of their breeze
It sets my heart at ease

I stare

I look into your eyes of stone
I see you here but am I alone
Pale and cold is your hand
Against the grander of wonderland
Where flowers tower towards the sky
Rainbows begin when unicorns cry
Jewels sparkle as pebbles on the beach
Everything you desire but out of reach
You shake your finger in my face
Your eyes inform me I'm out of place
My soul's light turns to shade
My spirit's flame softly fades
Tears of red my eyes shed
My heart empties from tears I bled
I feel your hands through my heart
My soul's light you turn dark
Kissing me tenderly upon my lips
Closing my eyes I feel the nip
Of millions of millions of butterflies
Millions of millions of butterflies
Lifting me into their sweep
They carry me upon my feet
Swirling twirling into the wind
Hurling me back to begin
Pressing my soul to the ledge
Pushing me from the edge
Pulling me back from end
Placing me within again

I see

Millions and millions of butterflies
Winging dark the day's sky
Millions and millions of butterflies
Fluttering fluttering waving bye
Between hello and goodbye
That is where memories lie
Fluttering fluttering waving bye
Millions of millions of butterflies
Into the gold of the sun
Melting for their time is done
Millions my millions of butterflies
I shed a tear accepting goodbye

Whenever I think of you
Whenever I think of you
I awake into a dream
I awake into a dream
From our first hello to our last goodbye

A Silent Wave

A silent wave rushing inside my heart

Your hand leading me so far we won't depart

Your voice I heard in away that's taking me far

Into a silent wave rushing inside my heart.

Oh the thrill it was to hear

your voice so silent as I opened up to you

so wonderful this silent wave rushing inside my heart

I was searching for a answer to a question for so long

there it was a silent wave rushing inside my heart

Your voice Lord, in ways I never found

a silent whisper so very loud

inside my heart the silent wave replied

to me your love is so divine..

So when the shattered dreams are filling your mind

please please listen to the silent wave rushing inside your heart.

Butterfly Wings

I felt the passing of a butterfly over my grave
Dancing gracefully over my silent and still body
This butterfly could have no idea what lay beneath
For I might have been something close to human
Or something as different and far away as the sun
But the silence of the graveyard was chilling
Interrupted only by the sound of fluttering wings
And a fragile hope that maybe life has meaning

I felt the passing of a butterfly over my grave
Chasing away the demons of a forgotten yesterday
This butterfly could have no idea what lay beneath
For an act so gruesome that it stained my hands in scarlet
The blood of an innocent reflected in the shadow of evil
And the silence of the graveyard was chilling
Interrupted only by the sound of fluttering wings
And a fragile hope that a better tomorrow awaits

I felt the passing of a butterfly over my grave
Trying to pave a way to the other side of sorrow
This butterfly could have no idea what lay beneath
The bittersweet remnants of a forgotten, but cherished, love
Echoing throughout a lifetime of forgotten memories
But the silence of the graveyard was chilling
Interrupted only by the sound of fluttering wings
And a fragile hope that maybe life has meaning

I felt the passing of a butterfly over my grave
Chasing away the demons of a forgotten yesterday
This butterfly could have no idea what lay beneath
For I might have been something close to human
The blood of an innocent reflected in the shadow of evil
And the silence of the graveyard was chilling
No longer interrupted by the sound of fluttering wings
The sound died with any hope of a meaningful life

To be a butterfly

Gazing up at silent skies
Watching graceful butterflies
Dancing, prancing so care free
I close my eyes and wish to be
Above the land and wild blue sea
And when I awake from this sweet dream
I sigh
I smile
Peacefully
Gazing up at hazy skies
Delightful little butterflies
They seam to be watching me
As one gently rests upon my knee
To my surprise, and on this day
They take my hand, I fly away
I fly
I smile
I've come to stay

White Glove

Your Majesty

Waving a white glove
Watching red barge on the River
Easing the Thames
Skipper's dream for ever
As You are up to the top
In Pageant Canaletto scene
Bridging London and Venice
People's Joy and Hope for the future
Ringing the 8 bells on the Belfrey
Announcing worldly water Storms
That will open the doors still ajar
From St.Paul's Cathedral to Big Ben
No mercy nor sympathy for the evil
Greeting the iconic landmarks
From the London-Paris Eye
Like a Mermaid One
among the Trinity Five Hundreds
on behalf of all
Outside the Towers of London
Saluted and respected
White

Drops of rain to wash some away
Along the banks of our rivers
in steady progress

The clockwork butterfly.

When I was a child and my dreams were of gold
I always believed everything I was told,
my faith was implicit, my innocence pure
and magic existed, of that I was sure.

My old uncle Arthur was always in bed
his twinkling eyes sunken into his head,
he told me his stories of dragons and elves
that lived in the books on his library shelves.

On the table that stood at the foot of his bed
was an old leather box coloured purple and red,
and the lid was embroidered in threads of maroon
with the soft shining face of the man in the moon.

I asked him to show me what rested inside
and he said " Press the button, and open it wide!",
then up from the box with a deep whirring sigh
rose a magic mechanical gold butterfly.

It fluttered its wings as it gently spun round
Its beauty serene in the absence of sound,
and I was entranced by its magical flight
as it bathed in the flame of the candle's soft light.

As I lay in my bed with my head in a dream
I still could imagine the butterfly's gleam,
so I made up my mind to go back the next day
to watch the gold butterfly flutter and play.

But when I got there, the old house was in gloom
my old uncle Arthur was gone from his room,
and even though mother had tried to explain
I never did see uncle Arthur again.

That night I slept soundly, in dreams of delight
at the dawn I awoke to the morning's first light,
and there on the desk, by the side of my bed
was an old leather box coloured purple and red...

COCOON

       BUTTERFLY WINGS
I do appreciate your being here
But one day soon you know I'll disappear.
And when I fly,
I'll fly on butterfly wings.

I know you see someone you think is me.
But nothing's really what it seems to be,
and when I fly
I'll fly on butterfly wings.

Bright light.
Never ending white light.
All my life a sweet ride, on butterfly wings.
Highway.
Always going my way
I'll keep going my way, on butterfly wings.
Out there
I'll be going somewhere
and I'm going to get there, on butterfly wings
Bright light
never ending white light
all my life a sweet ride, on butterfly wings.

It's not that I don't care, you know I do.
And you can feel it, when I think of you,
and when I fly,
I'll fly on butterfly wings.

This is one of my personal favorite poems I have written that developed into a Song Lyric. It is on Youtube, as a video as well.
