Make Love To Me In That Ancient Place

i know we have been married a very very long time we barely ever talk in fact i might as well be a mime it is normal i suppose after so long to lose interest please understand i am not at all trying to be a pest i wonder if you even still  know where it is just below my belly button you'll see the frizz  i wish - though it's been ages - you would find again that old space and then Make Love To Me In (what for you is) That Ancient Place

YOUR HEART WHISPERS - A collaboration with Mary Jo Hoose

Tenderly your heart whispers ever so soft and low
Warm breaths caress my ear as your love you show

Kindred spirits speak loves divine words that play
As your heart whispers through each word you say

Oh, hold me close in loving arms, feel the warmth of my skin
Kiss me deeply passionately as our hearts whispers begin

Your hands caress my face tenderly, my lips part and I sigh
Our hearts whispers grow as my love for you I do descry

On silken sheets our bodies entwined two hearts beat as one
Lost in your brown eyes the web of our hearts whispers is spun

My hands move gently lower playing over your Ivory breasts
My kiss touches your ear our hearts whispers to love do attest

Soft sighs from lips parted, shared heart whispers heard in velvet of night
Whilst two lovers shadows dance on the wall bathed in pleasures delight

Holding tight and caressing with lips bringing sweet pleasures untold
On downy covers where two hearts whispers as one begin to unfold

My lips caress sweet roses as my fingers play lightly over your silken thigh
Auburn hair frames your angels face, our hearts whispers take wing and fly

Fingers feather light, move in rhythm to the beat of your needs and desire
Hearts whispers of passion and delight ignite your soul in raging fire

Heavenly scent fills the room as loves passions begin to be met.
Hearts whispers cry out as every desire filled on satin sheets wet

Two glistening bodies lay bare as souls become one in loves dance tonight
In perfect rhythm our hearts whispers shared in the shadows of candlelight

Lost in passion our bodies joined rising and falling in loves throws
Hearts whispers of pleasure unending as our lips join and time slows

Voices cry out in unison as hearts whispers the ecstasy of love sated
Laying together in gentle embrace our love is forever unabated

If I Could Paint Your Picture

I tried to paint a picture, Dear, of you, But there was no right color that would do. There is no blue that ever could display The tranquilness with which you face each day. I think no shade of red I’ll ever find To match the utter passion of your mind. Among sweet sunny yellow’s many hues, I cannot find a one that I might use. No color in this world can paint you whole. And certainly I could not paint your soul. The soul of you, so beautiful to me, I know that it will shine eternally. From inside out, my darling, how you glow. Such happiness I’d never thought to know. But never could I paint that brilliant light. Nor can I paint your beauty in my sight. If I could be Van Gogh, I think I might Create a picture of a starry night. And I would put inside it me and you Enraptured ever in that sky’s dark blue. Sweet Haunting Dreams

Marveling the strength , her darkened dream's haunts .
His fingers caress , stroking , meant to kindle each want .

Passion is stroked , stood on it's head .
A wash of all fears , the thoughts in her bed .

She puts them aside her dreams have their needs .
Needs of their own , to do as they please .

She makes not a sound , except for a moan .
The sound of her mind , sent out to loan .

They delve deep inside the darkness and pain .
The things she keeps hidden , but never to wane .

Needs getting met by another and them .
She's treading deep water unable to swim.

A wrong step she takes will be her demise .
From heart to her head , are nothing but lies .

She continues to live in her dream Lover's thoughts .
His cold eyed stares , his needs , his wants .

She lays back again her mind without thought .
Closing her eyes , pain , all but forgot .

Still , her dream lover plunging to desirable's depth .
Her darkness awaits , her mind has to except .

She lays each night with her lover in bed .
To await haunted dreams , with the man in her head .

Save The Last Dance For Me

Standing in the corner, watching all the love and romance
Watching the twirling couples with envy as they dance

The fast ones and the slow ones, they dance the night away
But I remembered what you told me, just the other day.

Yes you can dance if you long to, dance your night away
Dance until the dawn arrives, and the start of a new day.

But no matter how long you dance or which partner you dance with
Remember they just want to dance, they don’t have love to give.

The dance that is important is the last dance of the night
The last dance that you dance, will be with the one who loves you right.

When we are on the dance floor, and the rest of the dancers are gone
The dance will be for us my love, a dance of love that goes on and on.

On the dance floor of desire which is the dance floor of such love
We’ll dance the last dance together, as close as hand in glove.

The last dance will be a slow one, and will last our whole lives through
So save that last dance for me my love, the one that loves you true.

My Perfect 10

If I picked my Valentine
she'd be a perfect 10.
She'd have blonde hair with highlites
and answer where and when.

She'd be a little shorter,
yet tall enough to kiss.
Her reach a little longer
to torture us in bliss.

Her shape would be the bomb.
As sexy as they come.
With hair up for the moment
I'd meet her at the prom.

She'd talk a little faster
with words I'd say are smart.
Yet keep me to attention
in hugs up to my heart.

A smile just like a lion.
Her face a source of pride.
One to show my mother.
And then to make my bride.

My Valentine was perfect
as I lost her way back then.
How was I to know that she
would find her perfect 10.

Not Cinderella

Back in time beneath gas light glow,
I watch where waltz music flows;
will you notice me all alone
too shy to make my presence known?
Awestruck by the sweeping beauty,
ceiling scenes painted heavenly
as though angels are peering through;
are they watching with me for you?
Pretty ladies in dresses fair
with feathered fans and coiffured  hair;
color abounds in satin and lace,
echoed on each expressive face.
Handsome men bowing gallantly,
requesting hands respectfully;
enthralled am I seeing this world,
a gray oyster in shell of pearl.
Suddenly, you are in this room!
I shrink - fading wallflower bloom;
I doubt that you even know who
I am. How could I have dreamed you
would fall in love with one like me;
I turn to go, quietly flee.

Your hand touches my trembling arm,
your gentle smile dissipates alarm;
the room, quiet at your voice,
anticipates your happy choice.
Pumpkin coach, fairy godmother?
No glass slippers made to cover
my dancing feet; no prince charming
just you and a love, disarming.

LOVE-a sinful fruit

Love, some say is a sinful fruit,
for others its a blissful truth.

Addictive it is way mor than marijuana and cocaine,
but lose it, it will give you way more pain.

Those who have lost it, has felt that pain,
their life is never gonna be the same again.

I am new to the feeling of love,
and i feel as peaceful as a dove.

Greats say "love is not times fool",
but to not enjoy the bliss of love time is a fool.

Love, some say is a sinful fruit,
for others its still is a blissful truth.

Loving You is Blissful - My Darling Hubby

Again a small poem guys dedicated to my Darling hubby..
                          wrote by Mrs.Madhavi Suyog Pagare

Loving You is Blissful - My Darling Hubby

 Twilighting glow of the sky..
 Wanna fly so high..

 Sparkling amidst the million stars..
chosen the crazy pal and so life is excellently par..

As like the blossom were kissed by soft rain..
Your arrival in life diminished all my pains..
God has entwined me..with my emarald diamonite gem..
Enlightening new vistas in life as like your next aim..

At an astounding pace time flew..
But When i didn‘t see you..I feel like..Life is been dew..

Your divine presence in life rejuvenates me..
Every tick of my heartbeat resonating wit your‘s or whatever it will be..

Your innumerable naughtiness made me silly..
But yep, your beautifying nature had an fragrance in life like lilly..

As like snow crested the nestled mountains..
You cuddled my a sip of fountains..

Being With you, Life is euphorically elated..
Full of high spirit and delighted..

Thanks for being accompanying me my theist..

Your admirer with lots n lots of Love:
 Madhavi. Suyog.Pagare

It seems I wanted too much

It seems I wanted too much:
or may be just a touch.
May be a little bit more:
happiness with the one I adore.
May be a good morning kiss,
or sweet words: “My honey I miss”.

It seems I wanted too much:
to be happy as such,
to fly in the sky like a bird,
to be understood without a second word,
to listen to the songs of my Lord,
to give a smile and behave like a child.

It seems I wanted too much:
to live without any mistakes,
without any heart breaks.
I wanted my soul not to be cold,
to live without any storms,
to feel your heart warmth.

It seems I wanted too much:
to turn into a dove,
to swim on the waves of love,
to meet with you every dawn,
to have the wings of a swan
and never be alone.

It seems I wanted too much...

Romantic thought

My thirst, to taste the sweetness of life, within your eyes
Will not be quenched, by watching the moonlight skies

Your eyes are like blue green pools, that envelop my soul
With waves that caress my essence, making me whole

I see the waves pulsating, watching your lips, inviting my hope
Eagerly anticipating, life's true joy, held in your lips supple slope

As our fingers touch fingers, our lust, desire bursts into a flame
That light sky and heaven, as our love and devotion we proclaim

With our love, passion, and desire, at last released with our vows
Live Life with, Passion, Love and Laughter, no need to browse

Mine Heart In Thine Hand

Fair is this pristine earth upon which thou stands With thy face t'ward the sun and mine heart held in thy hand On many a day, I am a quiet river flowing And I drink in thy laughter and windswept song How the twinkles within thine eyes set ablaze mine soul Thou art the sustenance which is required for life’s arduous toll As thou breathest in air, I pray thee, inhale all of me And place mine heart within thine for safekeeping with thee ~*~ 02/01/13

Who's Romantic Now

Who's Romantic Now? My Hubby is so Romantic that he told me I had infinite beauty the other day. And he said he is going to prove it, by looking at me from infinity, far away. But that’s OK I have to say, for he looks a lot like me. And I send him daily off to infinity; as to work he has to be. Now what’s so romantic about that, you may rightly ask? You see… he was supplying my muse, so my poem won’t come in last. CSEastman: Written on: 4-10-2012 Contest: 1-6 lines of Romance & Love Free Poetry Contest

My Love Is Like

My Love is like a cherished gift I covet in my room,
My Love is like a budding shoot forever caught in bloom.

My Love is like a melody I captured from a dream,
Of a lilting sensuality and pleasure quite serene.

The passion of my Love can sear and yet can also heal,
There is no bar can measure how intense my Love can feel.

My Love warms me in winter's chill but cools my irate state;
With calming words of meaning my Love knows what soothes my aches.

I have seen my Love shed tears of pain as passions overrun,
I have seen a sorrow in my Love from hurts that I have done,

And yet I felt forgiveness from my Love that is so deep,
Absolving me from my past wrongs and setting me then free.

My Love lives that which teachings say as goodly souls we should,
Engender for each other and instill within our youths.

My Love is solid fundament of realism pure;
Not concepts or imaginings of damsels in knight's lore.

And yet the magic that my Love displays for me each day;
Would put to shame all fantasy in children's fairy tales.

Shaft Of Light

As the black clouds parted, a shaft of light suddenly shone down
It hit the grass where I was laying, a silver circle like a crown

There was no rainbow there, so it was no pot of silver or gold
The shaft of light was dazzling, but it made my heart feel cold

It seemed to be an icy shaft, but dazzling all the same
Shinning I was fearful, was this God’s finger pointing out my shame

Shaking with fear I watched, the shaft of light still glowing there
Then I saw it shining, on the head with silver hair

The head of hair belonging, to the man beside of me
The shaft of light shining, showing the love that I now see

The light is still glowing and it is just like a crown
On the head of the man beside me, the one that was also lying down.

Be mine

I am only a novice
So when I am near you I get so nervous

I blame your beauty
It causes even angels to feel envy

But that's not the only reason why I want you
It's also your amazing attitude

You truly are great
I want to be apart of your fate

Even though your amazing, and I'm barely fine,
Will you be my valentine?

Valentine Romance

Valentines day is always something special to me, I explained.
So I planned a romantic evening and got ready for my campaign.
The children were at a sleepover with their favorite friends they adore.
So I met my hubby as he came in, accidentally tripping and making him hit the door.
Thank God his head is hard as he hit that, the nearby TV, but very little more.
I made Cherries Jubilee as a snack while he sat there with an ice pack to his head.
But before I knew it, I’d knocked it over and almost burned down the house instead.
When he finally put the fire extinguisher away…
I got up and got some of the kids’ apple tarts I had made.
He bit in deep and burned his mouth, declaring he wasn’t hungry and the pain would fade.
Next he decided to go upstairs, but I had put rose petals down everywhere in spades.
And yes you probably guessed it… he slipped and ended up needing a little aide.
At this he decided to take an aspirin and lay down upon the couch. OH HHWell…
But I knew the rest needed to happen above, to totally create this romantic spell…
I had to get him to the candles and bubble bath, where my romantic dreams still dwelled.
So I got out some scarves and danced toward him, tying up his hands before he fell.
He never knew what hit him as he was lassoed and gently bounced up the stairs.
I guess I wouldn’t have had to tie his feet… a few words would have done as well.
But you know me when I get going, my mind tends to lose a few brain cells…
He was flustered, exhausted and bruised when he got there, but he’s made of the right stuff.
Though as I took off the scarves, he flopped on the bed pulling the covers over his head kind of rough.
He said he loved me, but living with me could be kind of tough.
He said it was better to leave it to him, for the romantic endeavors and such.
He said he had reservations and play tickets in his shirt pocket for later on that night.
But what he needed now was some aspirin and a few moments of quiet respite.
So with a sigh he started snoring, and my romantic dreams were momentarily crushed.
I dearly love the man you know. But, do you think maybe I tried too much?

Old Memories Refreshed

Fresh memory of first love never fades away
Old memory is like flowers smelt yesterday.

After very long time, I took out my suite
Cornered in the wardrobe on a hanger.
I found a long familiar hair in the collar
That curly hair of a beauty who drew me to her.

An exalting smell
Of the *Bocheron perfume
I do remember.

*Brand name of the perfume

Love is not a science

Love is not a science
Nor a story of self- reliance

It does not lay claim
To those who place blame

More than a perfect first date
Or what was once thought to be fate

Love is sadness in a mothers eyes
As far away her son flies

Dropping it all on a dime
For a friendship impossible to define

Love never looses sight
Of what it knows to be right

Impossible to ignore
Like waves crashing upon the shore

It surprises us all
Like a child's first steps from a crawl

It will break us down
But only then can it be found

His Ass A Tale

His ass; a tale each women said.
Of one held high - he rendered it.
Like men of past to honour it.
A rogue like him - a dawn of wit.

They followed him a stern dead hem.
Each judged him; sire'd for him.
To each love they were fair and grim.
And some would say they're all a whim.

Some do bawk and claim him nay.
Most keep circles; waits and times.
Elite approach to spread their chimes.
While late provoke him for his crimes.

One man's wake that goes oblivious.
Her clueless cause for dancing.
Love together comes 'a prancing.
THE END; his soul will wait for lancing.

You know he's the one

Breaths by one who shelters fear,
That whisper given to your ear.

The hand you hold with shaken sound,
The arms that cradle you on the ground.

As fearful tear runs down your cheek,
He wipes them away, your heart to seek.

And with a gentle kiss, replies,
You my love have beautiful eyes.

You blush in return and meet his gaze,
Forgetting all the horrible days.

Heart now pounding out your chest,
You know he's the one, he's the best.

Wedding ring

A romantic ring, beautiful to behold
…dazzling diamond or gorgeous gold

A symbol of a special synchronization
A real ring, not just for fun or fashion

A romantic ring, not for boys not for beast,
A righteous ring, presented before a priest.

Meant for a married man… a mild ring
Fit for a wise, worthy woman... wedding ring.

A cute curve of kindness, caresses and kiss
Built beautifully, bringing blessings and bliss.

Dream Drifter

A Hush falls upon the night,
As conjurations take full flight,

Sashaying through the misty dew
My thoughts drift towards you

Silently asleep lips lightly apart
Rhythmic intakes keeping time with your heart

A sigh, a gasp, a frown,
What could thy dreams be as the rain thunders down?

A smile in the darkness, a tug upon the sheets,
Covering your face as the coldness nibbles at your feet,

Eyes flicker for a moment then the moment is gone,
Soon the spell of the moon shall be broken by chant of a new dawn.

Here I am

Here I am, So stuck in my heart
I tried to leave but you won't let me out

And I've tried even harder to strive for more
Without your hope, I don't know what I'm fighting for

Because you give me all your love and then you take some away
I'm losing more every single day

So tell me what to do
When I feel like I can't live without you

Like there's no one else, because that would be the biggest mistake
To go my whole life not knowing you, No matter how long that could take

But I don't want to think like that, I know right where you're supposed to be
Right here in my heart, You'll forever be a part of me

How I Tried On Valentine's

How I tried on Valentine's
all over the many years.
I've lost all of my Valentine's
and most of them in tears.

How I tried on Valentine's
to find my merry mate.
Working through the ugly
and possible first-rate.

How I tried on Valentine's
Forgetting all my failures.
Moving to the next one
oblivious of the bailers.

How I tried on Valentine's
to settle for much less.
Hoping that the next one
Would change and reassess.

How I tried on Valentine's
to go the other way.
Hoping that they'd chase me
finding me as clay.

How I tried on Valentine's
to say what's on my mind.
Shouting out my arrogants
and baiting the wrong kind.

How I tried on Valentine's
to make a friend at first.
Only to be shunned again
by girls who want you worst.

How I tried on Valentine's
to wait for the right time.
Left to find my girl
on another's dime.

How I tried on Valentine's
to spin a small milk bottle.
Landing on a stranger
foreign without throttle.

How I tried on Valentine's
to meet up with a bore.
When all she kept on talking 'bout
was nothing and no more.

How I tried on Valentine's
coveting one man's wife.
Only to release her
sharing in man's strife.

How I tried on Valentine's
Loving her full body.
Finding that she had no mind
and wished she had a hobby.

How I tried on Valentine's
Waiting to make love.
Ending up with others
When push came into shove.

How I tried on Valentine's
Seeking out a hottie.
Making me a sickly boy
who's doctor now called naughty.

How I tried on Valentine's
Expecting an easy date.
Getting just the opposite
but figuring it too late.

How I tried on Valentine's
Jailbait in short skirts.
Quick to kiss what doesn't last
and limits to their flirts.

How I tried on Valentine's
making the first move.
Only to find I'm ignored
for others in her grove.

How I tried on Valentine's
forcing my own way.
Told by a cold shoulder
How I could not stay.

How I tried on Valentine's
two instead of one
Only to be shot down
and told that I am done.

How I tried on Valentine's
Perfect to a tee.
Wanting only to be seen
in a bar as fee.

How I tried on Valentine's
Cautious and carefree.
Never knew what she was thinking
or who was bird or bee.

How I tried on Valentine's
remembering what I've learned.
Speaking words of wisdom
and loves that have been spurned.

True Love indeed

To Love someone with all your hear is one thing
To love someone with all you have is another thing
To love some with all you could be is so sweat
But to Love each other to the point you can't live
without one another it is true love indeed.

Wow, see her coming
From her heavenly boudoir like spring
The angelic bonnie queen
Chaste and verdant as virgin green!

Such glossy cheery smile
That I’m mesmerized all the while,
And her articulate serpentine gait
Like proud riverine princess of that rate.

Her appearance’s like magic wand
That makes everything beautiful and grand;
Her sweet-scented air as of ambergris
That causes all to whiff with bliss!

What a skin! Soft brilliant ebony, incarnate
In refined sunny gold glint climate;
With loose suited raiment of nature’s kind,
This soignée queen elsewhere I never find.

How her eyes radiate love’s fires
And I, enchanted by sheer love’s desires
Her fine lips set like bloomed roses;
Her voice, akin with wind blown pansies.

Were I lucky to endear myself to you
Would I render a burning love so true.
For your beauty is of no essence or mould
If no one do have you to hold!

She looks dazzling in her black gown
On occasion she wears a sparkling crown

She protects me from prying eyes
There`s no need for pretense or lies

She sustains me with her beauteous light
Caresses me in the heat-forsaken night

She tends to my insatiable fire inside
By her light I find delight in new-found insight

She hears my silent screams and
Listens, knowing what it all means

She`s game and with her pleasures generous
I wish to stay, but her dark ways are treacherous

When I ask for more, she cracks a smile
Saying, “Farewell, now rest for a while”

A Lover's Night

Sparkle sparkle flakes in flight.
Sparkle sparkle crests in white.
Snowflakes falling blowing bright.
Side to side in squalls pressed tight.

Cooling winds from upward gusts.
Frosted ice falls down in thrusts.
Foreheads cold in clammy rusts.
Frozen stiff 'till something busts.

Banks weighed down like heavy flour.
Snowflake pieces charged with power.
Hills and valleys waves that tower.
Simple curves much like a flower.

Dim and hazy light of moon.
Yellow mustard simply strewn.
Calm and quiet for a tune.

Loving wrong is nothing new --But pierces all the same
Byron did it--Loved his sister to his shame
Ruined lives his own and many friends
                  Thorny passion refuses easy blends

Fiery love consumes the victims –helpless fools
Whips through lives breaks every rule
Look at Oedipus a king and you will find
One more valiant soul who lost his mind

Passion chooses style to fit his taste
Sometimes vengeance calls a life to waste
Sometimes art will grip and bind your soul
Oft is politics or war that digs the hole.

                 Hamlet’s case—another tragic story
Father dead amidst a life of glory
Saw his mother’s naked love confessions
To get even-- faked a mad obsession
                 Poor 'phelia--abandoned –broke her heart
Hamlet mad with vengeance-- played the actor’s part
Dead Ophelia --lost her fragile mind
Hamlet grieving two-- now truly did unwind.

Having known this dread and tempting love disease
Know it never ends in any form of ease
So advice to souls who yearn to wed
Take care if passion's tears slip into your bed

Now come my Love Let us softly go

There is no doubt your husband is a pig
I tell you now, to me he’s not so big
Have no fear my strong right arm
will keep you safe from harm

Now come my love, let us softly go
hand in hand out in the snow
My love will always keep you warm
Even through this dreadful storm
and I to you will give a hug
to keep you safe and sound and snug

We will live in harmony
and you, at last, shall be free
forever from that swine
so full of hate and wine
but now, you are mine to cherish
If he comes he, I swear, will perish

Is that the sound of a train whistling
Or, the sound of my heart a pumping

As I espy you waiting on the platform
I wonder if you’re the vision of reform

En route to San Diego and looking fine
Rolling in motion on track twenty nine

Railroaded with me, our steamy desires
Threaten to drag this trolley through fire

Are you real? Can I touch? Just one hug
While the train steams away chug a chug
Let’s make love, while we rock the caboose
Two hearts, one great start, oh great Zeus!

We’ve arrived in great shape, so let us stay
Together molded as the potter and his clay

liam and mystic

Extinction of Love

Peonies and dark chocolate, the price of a modern girl’s heart.
Charming lies and hypnotizing eyes, spark before their lips part.
Commercialized and over advertised, “every kiss begins with K”.
Dinner and a movie, stupid Valentine’s cliche.
Longing to be delicate Juliet, with innocence cheeks still rosy and red,
Because Hollywood wants us to die for love, to leave a guilty veil hanging overhead.
Burning desire to visit the Moulin Rouge, to his Christian your own Satine.
When will this generation realize that love is just a dream?
Prince Charming just a character, whoever he may be,
Literature has given us false hope by fictionalizing Hannibal and Clarice.
If love can be bought, then love is not love.
If not materialized through dishonest objects, then what is it made of?
Perhaps I am wrong, and hopeless romantics are right,
And they’ll be forever together with that guy from that night.
No, I can’t prove that love is a myth.
But why wait a lifetime for temporary bliss?
So much can be proven, so much is real,
So much more than actors pretending to feel.
Friendship waves through an open glass frame.
Honesty skips gleefully with no one to blame.
Humor and humanity play games in a park,
And courage decides to go swimming with sharks.
And yet we choose love, over and above all.
We can’t prove it exists, and yet into it we fall.
Blame Hollywood falsehoods and commercialized thought,
Because, perhaps, is it possible, that true love has been lost?

I Know Where You Are

My heart knows well
Where to find your dwell
You live in smile of flowers
You live in the soft showers

You wander with the rising sun
Your playfulness is in the bun
You laugh in the buds’ cracking
You bump in the fall of spring

Among the deep dark of night
You shine in stars on the height
You float in the morning wind
You chirp in the sour tamarind

You sit hiding in the clear moon
You give warmth of sunny noon
You live in my shadow behind me
You lie in the heart’s core dreamy

Who I So Love

Who I So Love

Neither can I either feel sad or glad
It must be between good and bad
Leafs are all colorful but had to die
And did detect a tiny tear in my eye.

But next year they will be back again
Into my open heart will let them come in
Along with pretty flowers that will return
And oh how green will grow each fern.

While somewhere which is in between
There soon shall be a changing scene
Yet, many memories I still have of
Those in heaven above who I so love.

There isn't much difference in being a ROMANTIC,
Than there is is watching the CUBS latest antics.

You have to love life on some level, you see,
To believe that the CUBS will not continue to go Pennant Free!

So, deep down inside you summon all the love you have,
Keeping it buried, except for being what you believe.

I have always been a CUB FAN, sometimes in tears,
As "Wait 'Til Next Year", has forever been in my ears.

But I have followed this team thru thick and thin,
Feeling the pain and bearing it with a grin.

The ROMANTIC me sees them winning the Series one day,
The CUB FAN in me knows that is far, far away.

Their play has not been that extraordinary,
So, it tends to make us CUB FANS more than wary.

But then there are days when they flash-bang a team with hits,
And slap leather on the ball when it gets close to their mitts.

The big thing about CUB FANS is their "ROMANTIC" side,
Our hearts are big, we love much, and have little to hide.

There are those who scoff at our team's play,
But ROMANTICally we know that will all change one day.

Because the field they play on is one of the best,
We continue to hope that the team does the rest.

We are proud of our team but I've heard people laugh,
Like husband and wife, only CUB FANS can give them the gaff.

I wake each day during seasonal play,
Wondering what my team will do that day.

I look for big scores, no hitters, and more,
Most of the time I get really sore.

Not so much in a physical way,
But the ROMANIC in me sure gets a play.

The team will rock my foundations to the core,
When I find out how they let the other guys score.

So the emotional side of CUB FANS is real,
And has to be charged anew each day with ROMANTIC zeal.

That is why you'll see me write what I do,
Whether it's about my team or my life too.

I won't say it's easy being a CUB FAN in life,
But the ROMANTIC in me helps to get thru the strife.

Just remember that "hopeless" is not something you say,
When talking about the CUBS, at least not facing my way.

I know they haven't won a World Series since before most were alive,
They haven't even been in it...since 1945.

But we CUB FANS continue to hope and pray,
That our team will again, be there one day.

It's the ROMANTIC in me that says to you,
As my veins run full of only CUBBIE blue.

Smile, laugh, or think me crazy if you like,
The ROMANTIC soul that governs the life of this CUB FAN will tell you to just "Take A Hike"!

Lover's Corral

I have waited centuries for your touch,
And even now I can barely get enough.

I cry to you, baby don’t ever leave,
For you are all I need to believe.

Believe in this journey they call life,
I can no longer feel the tip of the knife.

When with you my wounds heel fast,
I am finally ready to forget the past.

Never have I felt this rush before,
A true sensation I can’t ignore.

I feel younger, stronger, prouder,
I won’t hold it in, I shout it louder.

Skin tight, our temperatures fuse,
A race for you is one I will never lose.

She Married Me

She Married Me

Day has gone away and is now nigh
While many lives have all passed by
Now precious memories have became
And none had a fortune or any fame.

So simple in life was their each style
Always told truth and did not beguile
Much beauty around she had carried
My love who I one day had married.

My poem only a woman would understand
Weather was full of heat and face fanned
To cool myself off and one I love see
How glad I am that she married me.

Il Fiore Della Bruma P2

Bright Lotus of the lily pad
Let it be known who fears the fall
You who all would uphold in slumber
Blind to a gaze refrained or stalled.
Amongst this lonely block of figures and sand
And thick, heated lines
You glide across water in whispers;
The divine scope of earthly kind.
You I had watched from this embankment
For days on end without question or hope
Enskied before me as light azure
Cool dream where pond turns to rivers slow.

Bright Lotus of the lily pad
Let it be known who fears the fall,
For at once you grip to the shadow’s hand
And draw through paths by the tone of his call.
He who is half in love with easeful death
Holds you like an ancient coin,
And raises glass above your breath
When markets make themselves purloin.

Bright Lotus of the lily pad
I cry for you cannot see the same,
Gaily look upon the water still
At once your face would seem to change.
And I cry out bright Lotus
Let it be known that you fear the fall,
For you run from reason and hide away
Clinging to the shadow’s pall.

Sent You My Way

Your smile is beautiful and shines so bright
It can light up the darkest cold winter's night

Your heart is pure as gold like the sun
spending quality time with you has been so much fun

Life is a journey with it's ups and downs
but when I'm around you it's impossible to frown

You bring me up and calm my weary mind
This was something I was unsure I'd ever find

My heart is getting lighter each and everyday
You've helped me to toss my pain and burdens away

Thank you is all there is really left to say
I'm overjoyed God sent you my way!

The Next Step

Uncertain is the future, and swiftly forth it draws;
I know not whether to fear it, or to invite as the dawn.

It seems as though a world is ending, as a new one opens up;
I’m ready to take it on however, for I have longed to feel its love.

My past has treated me well, now I see it as a pearl,
And now that it has built me strong and tall, I am ready for that girl.

Sightless Seeker

I reach for you in this darkness and find you gone,
Budless bloom of a forsaken thorn,

Nectarine of my life, song of my night,
Conjure thyself once more to bless my singed sight,

Search me now and see my grief,
In you lieth my only relief,

Water my withered roots and sire another tree,
Entangle thyself deep inside of me.

Now Is Mine

It seemed like I was beginning to see
All of the world was meant for me
Like all of the great, enjoyable weather
Which we both can enjoy together.

By birds, they always would beseech
Us to spend more time at the beach
And wish we could be right there
To see all of the beauty everywhere.

A slick sailing ship had been seen
With waves being betwixt and between
We had enjoyed all of the while
Your face was found with a happy smile.

So God as gracious as you are
Thanks for things that are near and far;
Nice sun which so brightly will shine
And my love You gave me who now is mine.

More and Adore

More and Adore

Was Jill a Hawkins with last name of Sadie?
Who was really quite a lovely lady
Prettiest one who I ever have meet
Who I as a fool over often will fret.

Lovely is such a great adjective
And in my life, she will always live
Continuously it is her who I think of
While I want to offer all my love

Married for many years, we have been
And if we had to do it over again
What I would different as well as do more
Would be to love, cherish and truly adore.

warm in your dew

every morning is drenched in your perfume
the city in your presence lowers the volume

wrap your hand in mine so your touch can ignite my senses
inhale with me nature’s joy pass the white picket fences

through the clover fields we’ll run against the fresh breeze
we’ll free our restraints and laugh sick to our bellies

nestle and anchor me to your own private flight of fancy
trip me a flyway of buttermilk sky frothy and creamy

cradle me in the soothe of your keep
sing me tender to a dove-like sleep

Dark Abyss

Join me in the dark abyss,
Ravage me with your hungry kiss.

Break me out of these chains that bind,
Assure me it's not all in my mind.

I think of you night and day,
Why can't I keep these feelings at bay?

I hunger for your passion, your touch, you caress,
Oh baby please join me in the dark abyss!

Song of great love

Come, listen and I'll sing a song just for you,
'tis a song of great love, that may even be true

Two hearts pass each other like ships in the night,
their love'll only blossom should they come into sight,
their hearts ever searching, for that which they need
true love is the flower that may grow from this seed

Come, listen and hear the sweet song that I'll sing,
'tis a song of two hearts, that as one may take wing

Two hearts beat together as though they are one,
in glorious passion as their web of love's spun
their souls ever seeking this sweetest of nectar,
two bodies then sharing the greatest of pleasures

Come listen, come sing, come clap and come dance
to this a song of the spirit, to this song of romance

Two hearts are thus joined in a union of love,
they'll now journey together, in this world and above
the fruit of this joining, this marriage, this pairing
is kindness and passion, dedication and sharing

A Best Seller

A Best Seller

This would make a wonderful song,
When in his arms you always belong
And a great guitar player he now is;
A beat or a note he will never miss.

First song he sang was about me
And how much I was meant to be
While waiting how my heart did beat,
Every time when we both would meet.

Now he has become a happy feller
Because his song is now a best seller
Over every station it has been carried;
He loves me and we are now married.

Each and Every Day

At first he only was a friend, And then loved him much in the end; To many I
might have been hilarious, But to others my position was precarious.

It is amazing how people interpret things, And sympathy and much emotion it
brings; Some were pleasing while others produced heartache; Back to heaven
one day my soul God will take.

Time and several things are so fleeting; Now that both God and I are meeting;
What I had done was only simple and plain; I got wet while standing in the rain.
Feel sorry for those I left behind, Now that I have my peace of mind; There still
is much more to say, And I will pray for them each and everyday.

Until Life Is Through

Until Life Is Through

When you want to be the wiser?
Is it required that you are a miser
Saving all things and will not share
While people are so poor everywhere.

Like love you surely will only last
Until all of it away has been caste
But if friendly like a floating feather
Be sure to enjoy the nice weather.

When the wind blows and blows,
While in field wheat grows and grows
I'm so sure she will still love you
When your love whole life does last through.

Horribly Hot

Many things to myself I have thought

Here in Carolina it is so horrible hot

Yet humming birds still come to out door

Looking for food and trying to seek more.

Have spent all of my money and am broke

And someday soon I will eventually croak

Lots of things I will have left behind

Within sight or may be hard to find.

Look for a long time and try and see

If there was someone following me

To heaven when I was on a true course

And behind will never leave any remorse.

So happy on earth my wife still will stay

Then here in heaven she'll be here one day;

We will look behind and take one long last

Look at all that had happened in our past.
