We danced amongst the stars that night
when joy had fallen far from sight
We danced under the sun so bright
And when all seemed lost, we held on tight
We danced to the music of hummingbirds
And we danced in the silence when there were no words.
We danced in the shadows of fear and doubt
And we danced when we questioned what life’s about
We danced amongst the evergreens
That posed for painters winter scenes.
We danced in the winters bitter chill
And when we danced our world stood still.
For that’s what love was meant to be
To find the dance when we cannot see.
To write a new song when the music stops
With lyrics that caress every tear that drops.
For when the rhythm changes and tempo slowed
We’re called to dance with the seeds we sowed.
For life is hard, there is no doubt
But Dancing through it, is what life’s about.
WRITTEN FROM A MARRIED WOMAN'S PERSPECTIVE
i know we have been married a very very long time
we barely ever talk in fact i might as well be a mime
it is normal i suppose after so long to lose interest
please understand i am not at all trying to be a pest
i wonder if you even still know where it is
just below my belly button you'll see the frizz
i wish - though it's been ages - you would find again that old space
and then Make Love To Me In (what for you is) That Ancient Place
The Luckiest Man
I have found that not everyone is as strong
As the skies are wide and the days are long
But in life I have found there is this one
Whose bounty makes me feel as warm as the sun
And from the moment that she first caught my eye
I knew I’d be with her til’ the day that I die
That I would love and cherish her all the day through
And do all those little things we men are supposed to do
And spend my days lost in utter bliss
That I had this beautiful woman to kiss
And there’s one true fact ‘bout her being my girl
That makes me the luckiest man in the world

Influence by the element of air,
You had me at love’s first stare.
Ruled by the element of your water,
Emotions no one can slaughter.
You call upon me like a charmer,
Awaken me out of my outer body armor.
A cobra memorized by your romance,
With a trance of my belly snake dance,
I love your built confidence,
Flirtatiously lost in a hypnotic trance.
Sending a kiss to your sensitive toy,
One day you will be my silly boy.
Your dots fill up my sensual desire,
My passion adds burn to your fire.
I will add water to your thirst.
Motivate me; energize me, until I burst.
While the moon changes your mood,
Your key turns on my womanly jewels of nude.
All my emotions are out of control,
You roll me with the sweet dice of your soul.
A deep erotic ritual to feed the need.
Wanting more arousing the power of my greed.
I will aimlessly satisfy your pleasure of lust,
A loving environment absorbing the devils exotic dust.
Symbolizing our emotions and likes on the same level,
Your Cancer sign comes all twisted like a Tasmania devil.
Influencing the justice with my right hand muffet,
My Libra sign set on two strings like a puppet.
I will shove the love in to everything we speak of,
Secure my bloom with the wings of a dove.
Spoil me with your pride, and charisma of your heart,
Fantasize the beauty of the nature of our art.
Longing your slight touch with a hint of aggressive,
Around you I bury myself in the world of imaginative.
Your sign and element your gift thrives on me.
I exchange the feelings only you see.
Observe me; connect me, until you got my balance,
Have me, love me, and give me all your romance.
All though your ego gets in the way of truth.
My sweet love;-) you are still the one I choose.
O Lady, let us not tarry
Be thou the rose to spread nights’ glee.
Away from jousts, your pearls shalt shine,
Spring’s boughs hath me in love, entwined!
Knight’s offer then, I giveth fine life
Through long winter, the heart a knife;
Sayeth yes before looms the war
Chivalry tests dark rivers far.
O, shouldst thou be fair in season’s rest
Time awaits thee, I am the quest.
In my thoughts, soft lips ne’er waned
So let dusk kiss our moments flamed.
For onwards unto fields, thine arms
Will endure kingdom’s call of drums;
I hear thou sigh, so warmly laid.
O, let us thrill our moon, dear maid!

Medieval Me Contest of Amy Green
Could this be love?
A kiss from a will o wisp
Elusive like stars that wink
Billowing like a silk scarf,
Delicately against your skin
Wishing at sunrise to see
It’s colors rustle and captivate
Like winsome eyes on a pillow
Or joyous laughter from a place
Past the shadows that sparkles
With an effervescence of fireflies
Making your toes tingle finally
And you say beautiful, beautiful
Two hearts of lovers that beat as one,
Ignite each soul while kissing under the sun.
When the nights turn cold and there's nobody at home,
I want to be that person on the phone.
When nothing seems right,
and the road ahead appears less than bright,
I want to be that person who holds you tight.
When no one seems to care,
and tears start running down your stare,
I want to be that person who's always there.
When pain damages your spirit secretly,
and sadness affects your heart equally,
I want to be that person to rescue your frequency.
When dreams go their separate ways,
and ambition goes up in a blaze,
I want to be that person to provide the desire within your gaze.
When barriers stop your smile shining,
as beautifully as dawn and all hope looks forgone,
I want to be that person who believes in you to carry on.
When happiness exudes your clutch,
and life's struggles are never a crutch,
I want to be that person who receives your touch.
When you manage to make it through,
and you look around to see who stayed true,
I want to be that person who hears you say,
"my Angel is always you".
When romance and commitment are mixed traditionally,
and comfort is thrown in additionally,
I want to be that person you love unconditionally.
When moments are in their prime,
and schedules become demanding along the line,
I want to be that person who receives your time.
When patience is taken to execute the perfect kiss,
and butterflies create an instance of bliss,
I want to be that person you will instantly miss.
When your tone is as joyful as spring,
and you believe you can do anything,
I want to be that person to change your life with a single ring.
No matter our individual flaws,
I wish to take a moment and pause.
Draw in a deep breath and steady my cause,
as I caress your palm and reveal to you "I wana be yours".

When Sparks Fly.
The magic in our togetherness make's sparks fly.
Years of me loving her, her heart will always be mine.
Our trials, our errors, through out our years.
Seeing grandchildren we made, strikes me to tears.
Two hearts we have still beat as one.
The magic of our love is like white morning doves.
We are still young then turning so old.
Magically we are still in love 7 times fold.
I have found my soul mate early in my life's stride.
We both believe our love, with togetherness is our pride.
Make a wish then live that way
Me, I don’t know what to say
Since one and one equal two
I simply do what I must do
The hardest choice I now make
I prefer my icing on top the cake
My taste is set I will never roam
In your heart, I’ve found my home
Your love is like a rush of power
A thorny rose of tender flower
I swear of this I could not joke
Be still the thorn inside the poke
Like a lake aside a mountain pass
Your eyes are pools of liquid glass
Inside those pools what I see
A hero is what you see in me
You’ve made a hero of a villain
In your arms, I’m happy Chillin’
Days to weeks, months to years
To you who comforts all my fears
I reckon that, which I wish to say
I would die for you this very day
A Prayer for my Wife
Now I’ll tell you all the details if I can keep from sheddin’ a tear
Last night when it got late and really quiet around here
I got down on my knees, crossed my heart and began to pray
And in the darkness between me and God, here’s what I had to say
I love her so much Lord and I just don’t know what I’d do
I’m afraid that she won’t make it, that’s why I’m coming to you
Here with my heart open, at your mercy down on my knees
I’m begging’ you with every heartbeat, Oh Lord hear my pleas
I don’t know what your plans are or what you have in store
And I know I don’t deserve her and that she deserves much more
And don’t misunderstand Lord, I don’t assume any obligation
For your bounty in our life has exceeded all our expectations
But please allow her to live and me to be a part of that life
And I swear I’ll make this beautiful woman proud to be my wife
And if it’s not in your plans Lord then I pray that you take me instead
Cause’ I can’t live without my love, I’d be better off dead
And no excuses for my past Lord, but I’ll do better than I’ve done
I ask you only this, my lord, in the name of your Son.
I wiped my tears as I said my amen’s and prepared myself to stand
Stepped up next to your bed and began to caress your pretty hand
I stared off into space as all the memories came flooding in
Reliving each and every moment, over and over again
And as the first rays of sunshine, streamed in past the curtain
I felt an overwhelming peace calm my mind and ease the hurtin’
I felt compelled to kiss you so I pressed my lips to your face
And it seemed the room was filled in the beauty of God’s living grace
And you slowly opened your eyes and smiled for me to see
And I knew the Lord my God had given my sweet wife back to me
To sip coffee with you,
Reading the newspaper,
Steam rises from my cup,
I relish this moment
Cherishing your smile,
Examine your face,
Lines, changes over the years
Still, I look in your eyes
And see the young man,
The hearth is still warm
And I’m thankful for that.
When I read your words they hurt a lot
Some men are men some others are not
Perhaps sex appeal he doesn't lack
With his power women take him back
He's a women hater of the worst kind
He lives to play his games with womens minds
Telling you somehow you are not enough
Through his dark lies you re-live some bad stuff
Yet in the end you come to realize
This bad boy is a devil in disguise
When you reject him he falls to his knees
You see the real him he is a disease
He never deserved you just walk away
For in the end you have the final say
Inspired by Becca's poem "No longer will she agonize"
Waiting, waiting, anticipating
Wanting, wanting, loving relations
Days, weeks and months the day has arrived
To the airport we'll meet desiring our strive
To me she walks, closer she becomes
My heart now beating like a thousand drums
A gentle kiss is shared whilst starry eyes meet
For our waiting is over amidst emotional greet
To the hotel we travel with small talk and kisses
Knowing of what's ahead our desiring of wishes
Music now plays into our evening we head
As we await our moment loving minds will be read
Slow dances, touches, our hands in command
My mind now images her body so tanned
Champagne now flows, down curves of she
As I lap in lust this excitable he
Entangled, entwined, we make loving fun
For today's our day, together we became one
If I picked my Valentine
she'd be a perfect 10.
She'd have blonde hair with highlites
and answer where and when.
She'd be a little shorter,
yet tall enough to kiss.
Her reach a little longer
to torture us in bliss.
Her shape would be the bomb.
As sexy as they come.
With hair up for the moment
I'd meet her at the prom.
She'd talk a little faster
with words I'd say are smart.
Yet keep me to attention
in hugs up to my heart.
A smile just like a lion.
Her face a source of pride.
One to show my mother.
And then to make my bride.
My Valentine was perfect
as I lost her way back then.
How was I to know that she
would find her perfect 10.
As we move through our daily life
Sometimes with heartache pain and strife
Along comes an angel with eyes of blue
Then you're convinced she was meant for you
As we wade through uncertainty, wonder, and fear
Thanking the Lord for someone so dear
That there can be such goodness beauty and love
Convincing me this is a gift from above
As God lifts me and heals me from my loss
There are unfound mysteries and bridges to cross
One of my crossings has led me to you
And to be by your side is all I want to do
We have both seen our share of sorrow and hurt
Then you find yourself in a place where they do nothing
That's all gone now and I have firmly decided
By the Lords good hand I have surely been Blindsided
As dark turned to dawn, in bed with my love I lay,
wishing for time to stop. . . so in his arms I might stay.

Walking softly on the evening sand.
I can feel the softness of you hand.
I don't need to try and find the words to say.
Enjoying things that make me feel this way.
The sand feels so loose beneath our feet.
This moment in time makes me feel so complete.
Looking across the water as the sun slowly dips.
Like a huge animal that's bending down to sip.
I can smell your sweet fragrance with you so near.
The winds faintest of whisper ringing in my ear.
Forever in time, this moment stands still.
Aching to hold you so close, that's how I feel.
A walk on the beach, hand in hand, like we just met.
There's just nothing like it, we are sharing the sunset.

I Fall in the Fall
It was between dry and rainy
When you breathed early fall’s
Love visits in a weird way
When you were far, I had nothing
Now you almost near, I think I
jump my heart
Is this really a good start or only
cupid's random dart?
You make me hold my breath, dear
When you suddenly appeared, I
cried a tear
The intimacy communicates with
My heart’s fence starts crackling
I’m asking about fall, you’re
Never mind, as you’re here, I can
feel the leaves falling

Under molten autumn's tumbling umber we walk,
fingers clinging, hours disappearing as we talk.
Love gifts drift from kaleidoscope canopy trees -
gentle showers of confetti-colourful leaves.
Heart-scarlet berries glow hotly in hedgerows,
passion-flame petals burn on a late-blooming rose.
Susurrous russet whisperings as leaves cascade;
secrets shared in soft, sequestered shade.
Reaping this harvest of hopes and dreams
in the late golden gleam of sunbeams.
Melding as day gives way to mauve-mellow twilight;
communing with the misted murmurings of night.

Loving You is Blissful - My Darling Hubby
Twilighting glow of the sky..
Wanna fly so high..
Sparkling amidst the million stars..
chosen the crazy pal and so life is excellently par..
As like the blossom were kissed by soft rain..
Your arrival in life diminished all my pains..
God has entwined me..with my emarald diamonite gem..
Enlightening new vistas in life as like your next aim..
At an astounding pace time flew..
But When i didn‘t see you..I feel like..Life is been dew..
Your divine presence in life rejuvenates me..
Every tick of my heartbeat resonating wit your‘s or whatever it will be..
Your innumerable naughtiness made me silly..
But yep, your beautifying nature had an fragrance in life like lilly..
As like snow crested the nestled mountains..
You cuddled my persona..like a sip of fountains..
Being With you, Life is euphorically elated..
Full of high spirit and delighted..
Thanks for being accompanying me my theist..
Your admirer with lots n lots of Love:
If I could I would return to a time of knights and kings
Of castles, dungeons, wizards and mystical magical things
I'd see Little John, Will Scarlett, the merry men and Friar Tuck
I'd stay away from the sheriff, I'd rather not push my luck
Robin was a hunted man, but he beckoned at her calls
For Marian he'd risk everything and climb the castle walls
His loyalty to King Richard made his men and he outlaws
They hid in Sherwood Forest, fighting for the cause
The king was in the Third Crusade unaware of the unrest
To become ruler of all England was the sheriff's quest
Through all this two lovers would light the evening sky
For Marian he lived and for Marian he'd die
A romance for the ages, A love that would never die
A love for all eternity to make the angels sigh
For King Richard his loyalty, for Marian his heart
To save the crown and England, Robin played his part
Richard returned to England to claim his royal crown
Robin triumphed in Nottingham bringing the sheriff down
There was peace and happiness all throughout the land
Robin knelt upon one knee to take his maiden's hand.
Robin Hood and Maid Marian.
< this poem is not about what is written, but what is not written
like the smile upon her face that looks nil and somewhat smitten
and lochs of hair hanging instead of with bows and lace
tell me my angelic angel have you fallen from God's good grace
has your garments of thread gone out of time
has your dance with the butterflies gotten out of rhyme
have you been cast from your lovers heart
or are you just looking to start over with brand new start
has clouds silver lining rained upon your dreams
has leafs dance gone frozen in crystal streams
time stands still amidst wondering thoughts
time stands still when lovers cant be sought

We share a look from across the room and I saunter into your arms,
No matter how hard I try to defy, I can never resist your charms;
You slip a hand behind my head and drag me into your kiss,
You tantalize my senses as I lose myself to bliss;
Desire takes over my body as you take my breath away,
We stand in utter silence, we’ve nothing left to say;
There is an overpowering smell of whiskey and cheap perfume,
But locked in a passionate kiss, we’re alone in the crowded room;
Your kisses taste so potent, I savor the exotic flavor of you,
Your intoxicating to my senses, like the sweetest morning dew;
Wrapped in a fervent embrace, our bodies meld to form one;
I lose myself to you and it’s only just begun...
It’s hard living with a broken heart,
fortunately for me, my heart resuscitated with your breath of life.
Giving me what my heart was missing,
you revitalised love, granting the type of support needed to survive.
Never mistaken or misconstrued,
you are both honest and open in equal measure.
Craving no friendship other than ours,
we share a bond deeper than any ocean treasure.
When laying in the sheets,
I stare at you and find it difficult to speak.
feeling intense passion,
made perfect by our serene marriage at twin peaks.
Realising I am living destiny,
no longer shall my inspiration ever starve.
With a smile that overcomes everything,
I am complete; cherishing our forever love.

I have a little treasure trove where I keep special things.
Today I thought I'd take it out, search through my memories.
Inside were pictures, souvenirs and things almost forgot,
And then among some special notes, a paper I knew not.
It seemed at first a poem that was started long ago.
Written just for me, in secret by my beau.
He must have written hurriedly, and stuck it in my hand,
To tell me I was special, he thought that I was grand.
I've kept that note, his song of love, for lo these many years;
And as I read it through again, it still brings me to tears;
For this song was like his love, he said it had no end,
Till I became his wife and so a new song could begin.

Who's Romantic Now?
My Hubby is so Romantic that he told me I had infinite beauty the other day.
And he said he is going to prove it, by looking at me from infinity, far away.
But that’s OK I have to say, for he looks a lot like me.
And I send him daily off to infinity; as to work he has to be.
Now what’s so romantic about that, you may rightly ask?
You see… he was supplying my muse, so my poem won’t come in last.

~Walking Out Together~
I waited patiently to hear from you
But you didn’t call, what was I to do?
My heart is all of a flutter
My head is in a whirl
I thought you could be my boy
I would like to be your girl
We could go out together
And hold hands and maybe kiss
You could be my mister
And I would be your miss
Our lips could meet in secret
A kiss stolen oh so sweet
But for them to do that you know
Then first we’d have to meet…
Blankets of stardust, showers in sprinkles of gold
Bathing together in starlight, what beauty we behold
Golden stardust that’s magic, and lights up your eyes
Sprinkles all around us, our love gained this prize.
Blankets of stardust to wrap and enfold us so tight
This promise is for lovers, every moonlit night.
The Sparkle of love, sprinkles with each piece of stardust
Entwined in the sparkles, and showers of golden trust.
Trust never to hurt or cause each other pain
Bathed in showers of stardust and love once again.
The blanket of stardust that will pillow your head
Laying under the moonlight, no more to dread
Covered with a blanket of stardust, such a magical thing
Surrounded by the sparkles, wrapped as in a golden ring.

When I first met you, you were full of pain, so you built up a wall,
and you hid inside, but your life was dark, and you lived in vain.
When you discovered I loved you, and you found out how deep,
that wall began to crumble, and now it's just a heap.
With no wall between us, life has been swell, no longer are you
living in an infernal hell.
Every day I want to sing, and thank the Lord for all He brings,
my love remains ever true, and each passing day I still love you.
The snow is falling, the harsh wind blowing
The fire is burning, peacefulness growing.
Peering out at the swirling flakes of snow
Winters blanket is falling tonight we know
Nose pressed against the cold clean glass
The drifts building and covering the grass.
Windows mist as warmth meets cold
Snuggling in, waiting for you to hold
The blanket of snow rises flake by flake
A world quilted in snow for when we awake.
Warm and comfortable as the north wind blew
The only blanket I need to cover me- is you.
Wrapped in your arms, held safe and tight
Keeping me warm throughout the night.
Praying the world’s snow blanket grows deep
So you can stay warm in my arms in sleep.

A Flame Once Burned
The new girl gathered her books as the class bell did ring
That’s when I noticed my heart’s spark began to fling
I followed her to physical Ed
I wanted to say hi but my boldness fled
Shafted by my own lack in doubting
Afraid her truth sparks would be most disheartening
Next to the fire extinguisher the cafeteria door I did wait
Fueling flame of passion my thoughts which did innovate
I spied her and lingered the more inflamed
But the bow’s arm she tightly did clang
Sadly diminished my heart’s heaping flame
I stood at the door as she and he did pass
This flame which once burned seemingly did not last
Sadden and chard what had flamed so brightly
I bowed my head to walk away drably
But oh, I now gaze upon a most delightful redhead
Perhaps the flame again for her could instead
By Mark A. Goodson
I glanced across the dance floor and saw her standing there
I saw her looking straight at me and I tried not to stare
I was kind of shy back then, for girlfriends, I had none
So when I saw her look at me I thought “is this the one”?
My friend Jim beside me said “Go on, ask her to dance”
And you'd better do it quickly before you lose your chance
My heart was beating rapidly as again I met her gaze
Then I walked in her direction, my mind was in a daze
“Would you care to dance”, (if she said no I would just die)
“Yes, that would be very nice” was her quick reply
I led fair maid onto the floor, put one hand on her waist
And slowly did the box step, while inside my heart raced
I knew right then I was in love, wings were on my feet
I hardly said a word to her til we walked back to her seat
With a smile I thanked her, and with shaking voice asked when
There was another slow one, could we dance again
She looked at me and sweetly said, “well now, that would depend”
“I'll dance if you will promise to introduce me to your friend”
Valentines day is always something special to me, I explained.
So I planned a romantic evening and got ready for my campaign.
The children were at a sleepover with their favorite friends they adore.
So I met my hubby as he came in, accidentally tripping and making him hit the door.
Thank God his head is hard as he hit that, the nearby TV, but very little more.
I made Cherries Jubilee as a snack while he sat there with an ice pack to his head.
But before I knew it, I’d knocked it over and almost burned down the house instead.
When he finally put the fire extinguisher away…
I got up and got some of the kids’ apple tarts I had made.
He bit in deep and burned his mouth, declaring he wasn’t hungry and the pain would fade.
Next he decided to go upstairs, but I had put rose petals down everywhere in spades.
And yes you probably guessed it… he slipped and ended up needing a little aide.
At this he decided to take an aspirin and lay down upon the couch. OH HHWell…
But I knew the rest needed to happen above, to totally create this romantic spell…
I had to get him to the candles and bubble bath, where my romantic dreams still dwelled.
So I got out some scarves and danced toward him, tying up his hands before he fell.
He never knew what hit him as he was lassoed and gently bounced up the stairs.
I guess I wouldn’t have had to tie his feet… a few words would have done as well.
But you know me when I get going, my mind tends to lose a few brain cells…
He was flustered, exhausted and bruised when he got there, but he’s made of the right stuff.
Though as I took off the scarves, he flopped on the bed pulling the covers over his head kind of rough.
He said he loved me, but living with me could be kind of tough.
He said it was better to leave it to him, for the romantic endeavors and such.
He said he had reservations and play tickets in his shirt pocket for later on that night.
But what he needed now was some aspirin and a few moments of quiet respite.
So with a sigh he started snoring, and my romantic dreams were momentarily crushed.
I dearly love the man you know. But, do you think maybe I tried too much?
My man does not go out like the others,
he’d rather stay in with me, kissing the day away on a bed covered in flowers.
If arguments arise, he walks into another room,
instead of driving to another house over comments he might assume.
His soul is like a wishing pool full of respect and care,
loving me unconditionally; always trying to make sure I know his there.
He bathes me in relationship soaked in milk and honey,
and soothes over my cracks to reveal a value more priceless than money.
My woman has captured my heart and made it grow,
fulfilling my life with love and devotion to make even the saddest of times glow.
She is not like the rest who whine and complain,
she more like a diamond, shinning bright through any terrain.
Not afraid to be vulnerable in front me,
she will cry knowing how much her tears will affect thee.
Made from the rarest and sweetest hips, lips and fingertips,
her cinnamon body and aromatic mind are nothing
compared to her saffron heart loaded with marriage clips.

I have promised myself not to love again,
the daughters of eve had inflicted serious pain,
True love and sincerity are scarce, yes! I know,
but these cold treatments make me feel so low,
Years went by,I refused to fall in love,
hoping that one day a true angel will come from above,
that will wipe my tears in the sea of passion,
and stop this lingering mockery and allusion,
You appeared in my sky with intense rays of light
which make my flowers rise and blossom so bright,
Cold spring water flows over cave without hindrance,
as beasts of the forest and birds watch this bee-dance,
Whispering in the night brought great succor to my heart;
The rising of the full moon and season come to a start,
You are my diamond;greatly refined and invaluable,
to treat you like a star; I hope I will be much able.
Dedicated to all my poetrysoup friends...You are my stars.

Bold Venus; pure spirit of heart’s guide
Allow me sail upon your love-bound tide
Grant passage, through sublime light
To my cherished partner’s eyes tonight
Gift all that infatuation does aspire
Display my seasons’ radiance and desire
My truths exposed, enchanted I’ll reside
In dazzled giggles, eclipsing lunar waves of ebb-tide.

GOOD GIRL GONE BAD
Rough hewn smell of male scent
Takes her from her books
Most good girls zip to bad boys
Like fish to nice bright hooks
Her safe home was not safe now
Hawk eyes now climb her walls
Soft breath drew in and out two times
She heard the bad boy’s calls
Gone was her book mood now
The end had a new twist
Her safe life fled through rose tipped lips
That kissed a bad girl kiss
Darkness cloaks the curves and lines of your gentle face.
I imagine the silhouette of your timeless grace.
Effortless is your warm embrace, silence falls with sleep.
I only hear your rhythmic breath, familiar and deep.
Tasting endless love in night, we drink wedded bliss.
In the dark, a touch ignites the passion of our kiss.
Wakened 'neath a sprawling black sky, true love calls to me.
Sparks fly from the intensity of all we cannot see.
A slow song is playing and we get up to dance
We gel as one, like in a trance
Our bodies so close, our hearts skip a beat
The feeling of warmth, forever to keep
Two bodies sway smooth, slow, as one
He whispers in my ear, I love you hun
Our eyes meet as I give him a kiss
Slow dancing our moves in pure bliss
He holds me close as the song comes to an end
I whisper into his ear, till the next song my friend

May happiness and joy, fill your heart each morning
May passion, fill your spirit at lights dawning
May your smiles, greet and brighten every day
While swaying, to life's dance, partners in this ballet
Find all your solace, in each others arms
while your feeding, on each others charms
enjoy, the spring and summer of your life
and protect each other, from all the strife
In this journey, your life's purpose, will be fulfilled
Together, you'll greet the winter, and be thrilled
Lying on the bank of the river, fingers dabble in the flow
Your head across my stomach, watching the waters go.
Little fluffy ducks abound, and new damsel flies unfurl
The early season brown trout leap, and make a splashing swirl.
Fingers running through your hair, my body satisfied and warm
You trace my lips with your finger, we're hidden from the brewing storm.
The storm we know will hit us, and what will we do then?
But cherish this stolen time together, in our sheltered glen.
Kisses that fall like the spring time rain
We know not when it will happen again?
Spring comes but once a year and we grasp it with both hands
We cherish and watch the buds explode; leaf covers the new born land.
Fingertips that may not touch, in the next seasons rising sun
Time to move on our way, another season begun…
How do we pretend ,that there is no spark of love?
It’s like trying to stop the clouds that form in the heavens above.
Good day my beloved one another spring will come
Perhaps we will share it, under another rising sun.

Good evening my love
My angel sent from above
My love for you would never end
Even if I try to pretend
You will always be the one
Shining my life, a bright sun
You’re my jewel, my star
From you, I can never stay far
I wish we could stay together
Always and forever
But reality is mean
Killing me, cutting my spleen
Because honey we must depart
Our love must fall apart
Because they are insane
Wanting to cause us pain
They would never understand
They have the upper hand
It is a curse unleashed by fate
Us, it always did hate
For it was always in our way
Always leading the fray
But we will never win
Our love will always be a sin
I don’t know why
Honey please don’t cry
One day we will be free
Only us, just you and me
But for now I must go
My face I can no longer show
They will kill me I fear
I love you, but I must go away dear
MY BEST BAD CHOICE
Was a time --not long ago
When you begged me sweet and low
“Cast your net upon the sea
Quickly,darling, marry me!”
My heart caught
and in a minute
My life was soup
And I was in it
A fair eyed man means dangerous shores
& I'm adrift-- mid rocks galore
On a current, flashing fins
You cast your line--
And hook sweet sins
And, at work you cannot think
When fishy eyes blink out a wink
Even friends are not off limits
When tides wash in the vodka gimlets
Do I hate you, yes, I could
Do I hate you, no, I should
A straying man on marriage seas
When asked to re-chart his course
He usually stomps and screams “divorce”
Mixing metaphors and such
Keeps the critics out of ruts
Straying husbands/shagging rabbits
Cannot/willnot change their habits.

We walk the trails, kicking leaves,
wondering if the other believes
that this is a new start for each.
That maybe it is within our reach.
Holding hands, walking slow,
letting feelings tentatively grow.
We are not young, we are not new.
If this is love, its overdue.
A friendship we started some time ago
is becoming something deeper though.
We shall not rush it, we'll patiently wait
and leave it in the hands of fate.

I journey for love on 75 miles
With admiration for your love
I walk pace the hill of 75 miles
With respect for your person
I swim through an ocean of 75 miles
With determination to be your king
I travel with butterflies on 75 miles
Only to pick you in a city of tenderness
My car tank runs dry on 75 miles
Your love fuels the engine to reach you
Morning, noon and night on the 75 miles
Your love never stops raining dew on me
I am on 75 miles from Lagos to Ibadan
To find you the queen of all women
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Do you enjoy a glass of wine or a few beers?
What makes you who you are?
What would you wish on a shooting star?
How would you describe yourself if I was blind?
What is the one thing always on your mind?
What is your worst attribute or flaw?
Do you drink from the glass or use a straw?
What is the number one quality you are looking for?
Would you drink milk from a dairy or must it be from the store?
Water from a bottle or out of the tap?
Do you like our president or is he full of **ap?
Well some were deep some were not,
But here is a list of questions I forgot.
The beauty of you is only one even in the few.
I had seen you through my heart though my eyes were on you.
Your simplicity made me crazy,
And your presence appears quite hazy.
You came nearby me, even gone apart from me,
But forever resided in my heart of glee.
I find you in my leisure,
Thinking of you feels pleasure.
Near you is where I rove,
And now in your dream I want to grow.
I may not seek your love,
Life will taste like a clove.
Don’t know what I have for you,
But meeting you, I have everything for me.
Hi darling I’m on break I miss you
Hi honey I am working miss you too
Let’s just leave for home early today
Longing for some seasoned love play
Just need to feel your loving arms
I hunger also for your kiss n charms

Stop and stare as the time stands still.
The pain hurts, but the silence kills.
Twisted emotions, this feeling's so strong.
My body feels weak, but my mind feels headstrong.
I slip and fall now only to crawl.
Your eyes told the story like a crystal ball.
A soft-friendly touch, I feel of your heart.
It's thumping so loud, I'm ripping apart.
Life makes no sense, this moment so tense.
Contagious emotions are building a fence.
It tears me down that I can't tear it down.
I've got more to live for, and it's wearing a frown.
You make my world spin, and you make it all stop.
Goodbyes make it worse, I spin like a top.
Given no choice but to drive away.
The words left unsaid are too hard to convey.
The click starts to tick, tomorrow comes near.
I held you so dear that it felt like a year.
- Yours Truly
I can see your face when you're not here,
those sparkling eyes that always cheer,
the wrinkling nose that is really you,
the welcomong lips to do what lips do,
I can feel those arms, a warm caress,
the clear message that your hands possess,
the hug that follows each time we meet,
the knowledge that each time we'll rerpeat
to find some time to leave World behind,
for a while, when it is real not in the mind.
I close my eyes; I see your face
You, this haunting melody I cannot erase
The smoldering eyes, the captivating stare
Forever enthralled is my heart... so rare
Dare I to dream of what could be?
The endless days and nights to see
Passion ablaze atop loves pyre
Sizzles brightest while escaping sighs
Waft throughout the warm and cozy chamber
Then softly settles upon slow, burning embers
I am only a novice
So when I am near you I get so nervous
I blame your beauty
It causes even angels to feel envy
But that's not the only reason why I want you
It's also your amazing attitude
You truly are great
I want to be apart of your fate
Even though your amazing, and I'm barely fine,
Will you be my valentine?
There is so much I need to say...
But these words just get in the way.
Will you please then look in my eyes?
In their warmth you will find no lies.
Let them speak to you in my place
Sink in their depths without a trace
Hear them swear my love in a pledge
Let them entice you to that edge
That leads down to my love's abyss
Let my eyes invite you to kiss
Hear them whisper, “Fall into me!
Let this ecstasy set you free!”
Tonight let my eyes be my voice
Hear their plea and make the right choice!
Eileen Manassian Ghali
Like a baby, she screams
Screaming like a radiant rat
Oh my god! Ohs! To the power of the one
That held her down, the gentle voice in the act of vigour
A voiceless cry singing : no woman no cry
When she saw her mate
She feels better to have, the heat that
Warms in a cool night
She hug, kiss, and caressed
Offloading herself to the nakedness of the mignight
When she enters the bed to meet
The high moving feelings in a hot dig
She voiced, softly in a action packed acts
His ass; a tale each women said.
Of one held high - he rendered it.
Like men of past to honour it.
A rogue like him - a dawn of wit.
They followed him a stern dead hem.
Each judged him; sire'd for him.
To each love they were fair and grim.
And some would say they're all a whim.
Some do bawk and claim him nay.
Most keep circles; waits and times.
Elite approach to spread their chimes.
While late provoke him for his crimes.
One man's wake that goes oblivious.
Her clueless cause for dancing.
Love together comes 'a prancing.
THE END; his soul will wait for lancing.
There is so much I want to share with you,
But my words are lost deep within me
I have oh so many emotions
How do I make you see
Life is not always that simple
Hear this from my heart
Our faith will concur all
As we stand here at the start.
Not speaking to you is going to kill me
You there and me here
But one day soon that will change
And I will finally have you near.
The Angels they did send you
The day that we met
Our love will last forever
As in stone it was set
Come fly, fly with me baby
Oh come fly with me
We can explore our love together
And set all our deepest emotions free
For the skies are without limits
And the tree tops we sour too
Perched upon a branch
Our love is forever true
I never meant for this to happen
But I am sure glad it did
Hearing your love and laughter
Makes me feel like a kid
Please never doubt my love
What is shared between you and me
Cause I am here to forever hold you
You just wait and see
But for now, I have to be patient
And except our destiny
But I promise you this my darling
You are forever within me.
To dance the night away, I would pray for just one chance
To hold you in my arms, as we dance the lovers dance.
The most incredibly ironic scene
To everyone, it is quite obscene
A scene where a lover has to kill
Their soul mate, against their own will
They were trapped in a wicked game
One must die or it would be lame
If they choose not to abide by the rules
Then the world doesn't need more fools
The killing weapon is a gun
So that the injury cant be undone
How is it you're supposed to choose
When your loved one you can't lose?
The two truly loved each other
They can't settle for another
Their code was always and forever
Now, will it ever happen? Never!
She wants them both to stay alive
But she's in denial, both can't survive
She doesn't know what to do
It's just a dream, none of this is true
She closes her eyes wanting to wake
This cruelty she can hardly take
She sits still and cries a river of tears
Struggling to control her own fears
He's already made his choice
But he doesn't want to lose his voice
The pain he's going through is surreal
He wished, it, he could seal
Facing his fears, he walks the line
He convinces himself everything is fine
Walks to her with all his might
His temptation, he must fight
He embraces her, he can't lie
Because one of them has to die
He can't lie and say it'll be okay
Can't charm her with his usual way
He pulls the gun to his head
Logic from his brain has fled
She grabs the gun and yells "no"
The gun has become their mistletoe
Felt like forever, a final kiss
with an eternal bliss
"But honey, you're the one to live
Protecting you is all i have to give"
He puts the gun in her hands
"C'mon do it" is all that he demands
He puts her finger in the trigger
Pulls it, a small bullet with a, damage, bigger
The shot, echoing still in her ear
While he mouthed "kill me dear"
Drops of sweat slip from my furrowed brow
Eyes squint, select a number and let fly now
Miss again, a millimetre is a mile once more
Aimed for triple twenty, only got double four
The walk of shame, my oh so familiar friend
Silence broken, on alcohol I forever depend
The steel point of eyes bore into my neck
My opponent leaves me a juddering wreck
I lose the match; the wife won’t give me a kiss
I wish I could have been anything else than this...

only you and me and our ROMANCE~

Peter Pan Envy
I envy Peter Pan
He never get’s old as a man
He can fly back and forth to never-never land
To his lost boys a merry band
If I had Tinkerbelle’s fairy dust and could fly
I would go up and up into the sky
I would fly up to my wife who’s in heaven
And take her back to nineteen fifty-seven
The fifties were a great time in life
It was when I met my future wife
Her body is the fire
That lights my candle of desire
A roaring flame formed in the night
Her beauty needs no other light
Than what we make when put together
So hot even in freezing weather
We fill the house with steamy heat
Every time our bodies meet
By morning neither she nor I
Could undo the knotted tie
Of labored limbs left so tired
From a night solely inspired
By my lovely lovers curves
That pressed so sweetly on my nerves
While fighting sleep our eyelids compressed
And she fell to sleep first on my chest
I followed shortly her to rest
But when I woke she had dressed
And left me with only a look
That pierced my heart with string and hook
Still slack when through the door she leaves
But soon that string works and weaves
Its way around my heart to pull
It and my body to full
Sprint after the lost love
That sleep cruelly deprived me of
I searched the streets until night came
And then I saw the tiny flame
Of that beauty shine far away
But still to me as bright as day
and with my love she was persuaded
To chase the romance once evaded
Then between us the heat did grow
Until on touch our lips did glow
So bright in darkness for all to see
What a lovers kiss can be
Yesterday you brought me flowers,
Since then you had me devoured.
Your voice, your touch I seek at night,
Losing you had always been a fright.
My life, you promised you’d cherish,
Risked in your hands, if it might perish
And when moon shone I’m into sleep
My future, tomorrow, was yours to keep.
That night, we embraced in your charms.
You held me tight, I’m protected and unharmed.
Your vows, easily spoken but I trusted.
Our bodies, our souls, our desires were lust.
With 3 words “I love you”, we’re on my bed.
My sane was lost, I begged, but you went ahead!
Under the moon, my body you were in deep,
I knew my future, tomorrow, was yours to keep.
Today, with a smirk on your face, you came
Said goodbye, thanks for the night and what’s left was my blame.
No matter how bad I wanted you to turn around
You walked away, left me knees on the ground.
One night, memories, your blood left behind.
Why did you leave me? So cruel and unkind.
And tonight, the moon shone on the tears I’d weep,
But I now know my future, my tomorrow, isn't yours to keep.
By Rick Rucker
The sky seems somewhat bluer now,
The birds seem a little cheerier, somehow,
The grass looks a darker green,
More so than I have ever seen,
My disposition seems to be more pacific,
As to why, I cannot be specific,
I have thought about it, of late,
It must have begun with my Dream Date,
I had gone on a dating site,
Hoping to be someone’s Mr. Right,
I was hoping for a friend,
So that this crushing Loneliness would end,
I harbored, in my mind,
What I was hoping that I would find,
An impossibly perfect set of traits,
Which could not be found in twenty mates!
I tend to be a little “over the top,”
A flaw that I cannot seem to stop,
So, I went to meet, at our appointed place,
There stood a Goddess, with an Angel’s face!
I think we ate, I am not too sure,
I could hardly talk, there seemed no cure,
I realized at once,
That I must have seemed the perfect dunce,
Here, sitting across from me,
Was as perfect a being as there could be,
She was obviously too good for me,
Anyone in the room could see,
She had everything that I thought important in a mate,
And I was going to blow it on our first date!
We got through our meeting, and she finally left,
Leaving me standing there, bereft,
My head was all a-whirl,
I had just lost The Perfect Girl!
I could not, for a week, summon the guts to call,
Sure that she would not remember me at all,
But, to my surprise, she would give me another try,
Though I could not figure why,
All of this was months ago,
Perhaps, the rest of this you know,
We have bought a house, and moved our things,
Soon, we will be exchanging Rings,
We will be testing if we can,
Live happily ever after, as an Angel, and a Man!
You have abruptly joined the two halves of my heart,
I love this feeling and never want it to depart.
From his lofty perch, his favorite viewing place
He saw her approach before he could clearly see her face
A charming lady was she, dressed in her day gown
A straw bonnet lusciously adorned her beautiful crown
He considered her his beloved darling
She cherished their time wanting minutes to stretch forever
If he proposed marriage, would her answer be yes
A bride of a humble miller, his offering detest
Adoringly she looked upon his handsome chest
Love would win in the end, she would not longer be just his day guest

Emma Elephant was desperate to become a mum
And have a baby elephant growing in her tum
Unfortunately poor Emma didn’t have a mate
In fact she had never ever even been on a date
So she put on her best dress and went to a dance
Had her heart set on a little romance
Out of the corner of her eye she spied the perfect man
She tried to get his attention by wafting her feather fan
He was handsome big and strong
With an enormous trunk it was very very long
Their eyes met across the crowded dance floor
They entwined trunks, Emma couldn’t wish for more
Now Emma and her man are husband and wife
She’s expecting her baby and has a perfect life.
So the moral of the story is don’t sit back and wait
Grab each opportunity don’t leave it down to fate

To Love someone with all your hear is one thing
To love someone with all you have is another thing
To love some with all you could be is so sweat
But to Love each other to the point you can't live
without one another it is true love indeed.

Love to Hear Her Laugh
Love to hear her laugh each day
Whether sky is sunny or gray;
Every morning, noon and night
Her laughter is such a delight.
In the shower, so good she sings;
At breakfast much joy voice brings;
Laughs at movies we have often seen
Either on TV or a theater screen.
Laughing and singing go hand in hand;
Together are grand throughout the land
And always love holding her real tight;
A day with her makes everything alright.
The day of excitement.
Lusting for her enticement.
Needing to feel.
That great sex appeal.
Wanting to roam my hands.
Emotions going wild in the promise lands.
Hot but running smooth.
Two way street no one will lose.
Loss of breath heart is pounding.
Soon we will go past our boundaries.
Sensations are forever growing.
Minds feeling like they are floating.
Hard then soft fingertips across our body’s.
Hungry wanting more then more until ecstasy is in their findings.
Constant climax is the way we are.
Mind numbing always seeing the stars.

Sparkle sparkle crests in white.
Snowflakes falling blowing bright.

Frozen stiff 'till something busts.

True Romance Does Not Involve Your Pants
By Rick Rucker
True Romance can be shared on the dance floor,
Moving to music, nothing more,
Making Love, and sex are great,
But not all that you should share with your mate,
Every time I see My Love,
I hear trumpets, from Above,
Her face is like a work of art,
I cherish the memory when we’re apart,
Sometimes, I squeeze her far too tight,
I think it might be from fright,
That this is all a dream,
If I awaken, without Her, I would scream!
To think that I have found this Love, so late in Life,
That she would love me, consent to be my Wife,
We will marry, and right then,
I will be the Luckiest of Men!
Mary, Mary, quite contrary said no too many times.
The boyfriend did cry foul, and left her standing in her prime.
But that’s OK I tell you, he wasn’t the right man to make a team.
And she was looking for true love, that illusive, lovely dream.
The important thing to remember is what this means to you.
Waiting can make sure that true love, is really, really true.
There is no doubt your husband is a pig
I tell you now, to me he’s not so big
Have no fear my strong right arm
will keep you safe from harm
Now come my love, let us softly go
hand in hand out in the snow
My love will always keep you warm
Even through this dreadful storm
and I to you will give a hug
to keep you safe and sound and snug
We will live in harmony
and you, at last, shall be free
forever from that swine
so full of hate and wine
but now, you are mine to cherish
If he comes he, I swear, will perish
I sit all day and dream of you
Wonder if you think of me too
I can picture your smiling eyes
They are so intense they hide no lies
Guess we all have got a past
Failed attractions that didn’t last
Would you run if I called your name?
If we met would we feel the same
Would I surrender to your charms
And be content in your loving arms
Time and tide keep us far apart
Are you the one who stole my heart?
13th September 2014
Honey, I’m so glad we met,
but honey, please don’t forget
that you may be sweet like a decadent treat
but I’ve got control, alt, delete.
So tether your feather to finding a friend
cause baby I’m saying, this is the end.
You can't change your past but you can learn from it
Its not about dwelling there, but more so what you earn from it
Sometimes I wish I hadn’t let others influence my prior choices
But other times I'm thankful for those few truthful voices
Guiding me in the right way, letting me know my wrong
Creating the fight inside me, changing the tune of my song
I wish you could see me now, and how much I've progressed
Now I see past my accomplishments, where my faults lay to rest
Blinded by reflections, who knew the mirror was convex
What I thought was simple and obvious, was much more complex
Today I look back and remember, how could I ever forget
How you were my satisfaction, but now you're my regret.
Is that the sound of a train whistling
Or, the sound of my heart a pumping
As I espy you waiting on the platform
I wonder if you’re the vision of reform
En route to San Diego and looking fine
Rolling in motion on track twenty nine
Railroaded with me, our steamy desires
Threaten to drag this trolley through fire
Are you real? Can I touch? Just one hug
While the train steams away chug a chug
Let’s make love, while we rock the caboose
Two hearts, one great start, oh great Zeus!
We’ve arrived in great shape, so let us stay
Together molded as the potter and his clay
liam and mystic
She is so and very pretty
And a bit too witty
She has a bright smile
Making every moment worthwhile
She brings out from me a side
Too good for me to hide
I'm under her lovely spell
When did she cast it? I can't tell
But I do know how
Known a long time ago, not now
She did it with her eyes
Them, with magic, she dyes
Their power incredible
Making her irresistible
Her overflowing hair
Its beauty, too much for me to bear
Enters the mighty fate
Just when things are going great
I lose my memory, my mind
Information I can't find
To my condition there is no cure
They say its cause I'm poor
But I know someone in front of me
I know her, but who is she?

Death may be a release for ME,
it my be what sets me Free.
Free from things that cause me Pain.
Free from you that I Love in Vain.
Betraying a friend is wrong
I should have known this all along
For I should have given you my trust
Instead I screamed and cussed
So to my dismay
To this very day
All I can think is I am sorry
Just know my eyes are starry
Because every time I look at you
I see what I almost blew
And it make me sad to think
That all in a blink
You could be just gone
And I would be lonely for so long
That all I try to say
Although it may be cliche
I love you, from your boy Jay <3
My rose, my soul, my heart's delight,
Such treachery this wintry night!
My fathers men hath taken thee
And I know not if thou'llst e're be free.
A spy was in the wood that day
When I met with thee and at last did say
How you set me alight with thy smile and thy voice;
How I'd gladly wed thee, were I given a choice.
The man heard my confessions and fled to the king
And said, "Noble sire, dire news I must bring!
Thy son the lord prince is smitten indeed.
But 'tis a peasant girl who has sown love's seed."
As prince I may not marry as I might wish.
Ah! wealth and pow'r are a bittersweet dish.
This is the reason thou wast sent away
But I will come swiftly as soon as I may.
I now gather men who'll support my endeavour,
Who're loyal to me, and we'll all stick together.
We'll whisk thee away, and then thee and I'll marry.
But we must do it quick, not a moment to tarry.
Once we are wedded in Our Father's eyes
My father shant dare bring about our demise.
He'll have to accept that one just can't stand by
And watch, as their love is dispatched to the sky.
And my love, thou'llt be queen! Ah! sweet heavens all bless.
Thou'll be marvelous indeed in thy coronation dress
As in any other, of any shape or hue.
Such is thy beauty, because, I love you.
The hardest thing
Is watch you walk
away, with her.
The hardest thing
Is watch you kiss
The hardest thing
I've ever done,
Is watch you
Love her, instead of me.
Let me be your muse…
I’ll give color to your blues
Let me be your song…
When everything goes wrong
Let me be your light…
To chase the demons of night
Let me be your smile…
When nothing seems worthwhile
Let me be your dream…
When all your monsters scream
Let me be your drink…
When you’re too parched to think
Let me be your fire…
When there’s unfulfilled desire
Let me be your power…
Gentle like a flower
Let me be your air…
When you need tender care
I’m not asking to be your lover…
I’m not asking to be your friend…
I just want you to let me be….
Everything you are to me!
To see what I can become is a death without dyeing.
Here and now I let you know, have no powers of flying.
Powers I was born with are truly magical and beyond.
Incantations I speak are from the old language in bond.
Bonded to the facts that self-gain, comes back three fold,
This seal in the book that has been guarded and untold.
I shall not gain love from any spell that I should make.
Neither shall I change or sway anything for my sake.
Though upon my eighteenth birthday, love came for me.
Now I must choose magical powers or my love for thee.
My heart knows the answer, so thus I choose mortality.
So I close the book, ring the bell, light the candle internally.
Now you know my secret I have held as well my diversity.
I shall love you forever and be your husband beyond eternity.

I have waited centuries for your touch,
And even now I can barely get enough.
I cry to you, baby don’t ever leave,
For you are all I need to believe.
Believe in this journey they call life,
I can no longer feel the tip of the knife.
When with you my wounds heel fast,
I am finally ready to forget the past.
Never have I felt this rush before,
A true sensation I can’t ignore.
I feel younger, stronger, prouder,
I won’t hold it in, I shout it louder.
Skin tight, our temperatures fuse,
A race for you is one I will never lose.
She was a maiden with long red hair
A delicate monster to a heart filled with fear
Binding as one as he lays on her lap
As if he was taking an eternal nap
Love was strong but the pain was deeper
Did he know that she was a reaper?
The sense of desire was in the room
Complicated emotions felt like doom
A deadly attraction none can resist
The journey to death that couldn’t desist
Darkness overcomes the day
Shadows came and won’t go away
Alienated from the world, embraced in deception
Emptiness covered their hearts as they lived in corruption
He searched for comfort and found peace in her
She held him in her arms wishing they can last forever
Blood flooded up the place
Memories, none to erase
The vampire with a sorrowful heart
A relationship that will break apart
The lovers trap is love and passion
A gentle touch, a painful affection
Hearts slowly dying, one by one
With a suffering that will never be gone

Only a Rose, when touched by love
Can make our home like heaven above
Only a word, when said with grace
Can embolden the heart and lift the face
Only a touch, on a hand lain
Can free the mind and lift soul’s pain
Only a deed, no matter how small
When given in love, is worth it all
Only a smile, given to cheer
Can brighten the cheek and banish all fear
Only a hand, when clasped in mine
Can make all the heartache worth the time
Only your step, when firm by my side
Can make my heart leap, and fear subside
Only your joy, so precious to me
Can wipe all my tears, and set my soul free
Only our love, faithful and true
Can hold us both close, me and you
Her presence as cool as autumn breeze,
Her grey color eyes do faithfully tease.
Her kiss as soft and gentle as floating leaves,
Her caress as warm as the one she receives.
Autumn colors perfect her body’s movements.
With precious curves, needing no improvements,
Her curious laugh that sparkles like the morning dew,
Certain words she speaks that deliver clever queue.
Even her slight anger intensifies my love so deep.
Falling in love in the fall places all issues asleep.
Autumn romance sets a warm tone before cold arrives.
Truly in this time of year, love endures and survives.

Has a cold sad heart,
Winding down like a clock with its parts,
The days and years are shorter,
They would be longer if he is a courter,
Those hearts are lost in winterstorms,
Snowflakes falling into nothingness that mourn,
With trees that follow with their permanent shades,
Killing hearts slowly with branches that are blades,
Those weary souls that cry at night,
Trapped in hell by hearts that never see light,
And when that love door is opened wide,
Hearts will mingle and walk with stride,
They pet and pet love set free,
Comforting under bright hot suns colossally,
That love that stare’s in the face,
Will make men whole on this earthly place,
Pollen blowing through the air,
Unleashed by pistols fired everywhere without despair,
To depart this world with seeds left behind,
A man’s lot is love immortal and she is kind.
We Both Agreed
I remember when she had awoken
And hair on head was gently stroking
While I wrote more poems for her to read
Which were well-written we both agreed
What is it that all my poems need now?
Should I try to touch them up somehow?
Or only add a little love here and there
About my marriage and for those who care.
How about the time we first had met?
Or maybe something even better yet
When we married and honeymoon went on
And kissed each other from dusk to dawn.
An evening we enjoyed which was great
And next morning woke up rather late
Now that you were my most fabulous fan
I'm glad I now am now your only man.
It was always you who stimulated me so
More than whole world will ever know
He does keep devil away when discouraged
And by God I am greatly encouraged.

The love I have for
you is more than
This great affection
can`t be bought or
I`ve traveled across
many cities and seas
No one has made me
bow on my knees.
Looking at you makes
my storms to
This palatable food
and drinks should
Your carriage and
smile make me walk a
Being with you has
greatly increase my
My love glows and
radiates more than
stars in the sky,
Which has made many
intruders and foes
I wish these romance
and passion would
As you remain in my
heart which I can`t
The foliage resembles you more than me,
As I hold you under this sycamore tree,
Your vibrant smile dims out the countless shades,
Your ocean filled eyes makes all else fade,
Just like the fire place inside that is burning,
My heart is a flame that is constantly yearning,
If God knows every sparrow that falls from the sky,
Then he must know that this is the perfect day for you and I,
As the leaves quietly dance around your porcelain face,
I long to have more than just a seasonal taste,
Suddenly, as the breeze picks up in pace,
On one knee I proclaim my love in this place.

contest falling in love in the fall
When two hands fit like ours do, palm to palm and fingers laced,
The world sits, undesired; all I need is in your face.
When mornings, bleak without you, find your voice and make reply,
The Sun is milk and honey rising in the sea foam sky.
When I am sat beside you, close enough to feel at ease,
I'm lost and found quite simply in your eyes, the way you breathe.
When two hands fit like ours do, there's perfection in the hold,
And each will have the other with their lover's band of gold.
My Each Fingertip
Whole world was at my each fingertip
And another pen I hard had to grip
As words did flow out on each page
Looking like star performing on a stage.
Drama in each poem it did contain
And I wrote another again and again
To meet someone's desire and satisfy
A sad feeling when someone did die.
Maybe it might be for enjoyment
About someone giving you a hint;
God means all the world to me;
To write, He gave me the opportunity.
Is your heart on ice?
Are you willing to pay the price
That it costs to make it thaw
To jump into Love’s waiting maw?
Have you got a fear of heights,
But fear far less the lonely nights
That living without Love would bring
Alone in darkness, afraid to sing?
How do we find ourselves like this,
Getting close, but afraid of bliss?
Has someone chewed your heart to bits,
And it, in a locked container sits?
If “One bitten, and twice shy”
Has you now afraid to try
Will you ever learn to sing
Love’s song, while you are on a swing?
Or are you too scared to fall
So that you won’t risk it all?
Your heart is tougher than you think
It can recover in a blink
Once it begins to pump again,
You’ll forget about past pain.
How do you get it to start?
That is really the fun part!
You will hear many tips,
But I think it only takes two lips
Exploring yours without a care
Enjoying every moment there.
If you use a little tongue
It will make you feel quite young
And wild to feel such emotion
A mind massage, without lotion!
If you think where it will lead,
And that thought you thus heed,
Romance will die in a minute
Love is lost, you will not win it.
True Love is something that you feel,
It matters not if it is real,
It cannot exist alone,
Like calling yourself on the phone!
It takes another willing soul
To let you see the picture whole.
Once you both get into it,
At the sidelines, you’ll not sit!
Soon you will sing Love’s praises,
Although there are concerns it raises.
Will this person love me for all time?
Or for an interlude sublime?
In point of fact, it matters not,
What you wanted to get, you got!
Your heart again, it is beating,
Even as your love is retreating.
That person did an angel’s job,
And did not steal or rob,
And gave you once again
A reason to say “Amen.”
Beautiful Venus smiled upon her Mars
Diving through time and space, falling from stars
With hooded eyes she moved to entice him
Green hips waving about, a flower stem
When Spring revealed her kingdom to his awe
At last Jack Frost's cold heart began to thaw
They slowly sway together, building trust
and into the virile clay he did thrust
Sweet succulent nectar she did siphon
In full sun, the fruit began to ripen
He grew much stronger, harvesting the field
Took such pride in the bounty it did yield
But time caught up to him and he grew old
Autumn leaves mourned his light that now shone cold
Venus held him close and they danced once more
his body weakened and her waters tore
Taking one last gasping breathe, another
The wailing son now proclaims her mother
Not necessarily mythologically accurate...but a cute little story about the seasons.
she was hot - like a menopausal flash
he was hard - like arteriosclerosis
limber lumbar but an ancient memory
a touch senile, maybe, a touch unsensory
and yet the sparks still sparkled
in eyes that cataracts encircled
old flames popped from recollections
of wanton desired seductuous affections
desiring what's called dirty, before becoming dirt
flaunting flirty, hungering each other's desserts
s l o w l y they stood as erect as they could
gnarled hands came together, tactfully understood
it might be their last chance - last dance
last night lust - of their senior romance
while everyone else was babbling and talking
they quietly departed and away went walking
past the station where nurses hunched typing
past security, past the ornery old griping
out to the absence of society's luminescence
out past their own - perceived obsolescence
under sky, wisps of cloud, under far distant suns
they found clearing to finish, what nature'd begun
spread out a blanket, helped each other down
patiently, s l o w l y, made love on the ground
her breasts hanging low, her pubic hair gray
her craving for him to go all the way
and he, sight poor, gently reached out to her
and tasted her nipple, french-kissing connoisseur
she spread desire open to Mother Nature's all
he inserted desire, quietly moaned a faint call
and they both reveled in what life had given them
the desire to tempt - the acquiescence to be tempted

Our love will never die
it's not a joke or a lie
like a ribbon our love will
again I say our love will never die
take one guess in no time we can
Overcome this mess
to perfect our love like your beauty dress
our love is stronger than the ocean
a love that will stay in one motion
to start over again is my notion
to gain your heart for my portion
is my everlasting devotion.
My eyes this evening are delighted by what they see
An aura, a Spanish maiden, dances in front of me
Flowing locks of darkened curls sway left to right
Towards me she moves in wonder on this Scottish winter night
Her eyes in penetration my soul now captured so
My hand she takes in hers to the floor we wanting go
Shoulder to shoulder we dance, aroma of she so close
Her perfumed nape delights as our evening gracefully flows
Whispers are softly shared amidst touches of soft caress
Closer and closer we hold, in dance our bodies impress
On this Scottish winter night, an aura dances with me
Two souls finally together, perhaps it was meant to be
They confine us to the dark,
So we will seize the night.
Shadows full and beautiful,
Full moon and pale starlight.
Closing eyes with parting lips,
And drawing final breath.
Drawing blood and lines of love,
Awoken in this death.
Pleasure, drowning, lost in you,
My skin lays bitten, bare.
The sweetest suffocation,
I’m loving, lacking air.
The moon has left me Lycan,
And you're allowed to bite.
They confine us to the dark,
So we will seize the night.
My sky is black and so is yours,
The cold sea rushes upon our shores.
I love you dear, we'll run away,
We'll run until our heart fades grey.
Their love is lost but ours is here,
We'll save our love throughout the years.
And as we confess our true love,
Our black sky stares from up above.
The sky is jealous of our pair,
She's jealous of the love we share.
But she cant hurt us, don't you see,
We'll run away until we're free.
I dream of your touch while you're away
I think of your voice all through the day
I dream of the day I can fall asleep beside you
I think of whenever you say I Love You
I dream you're with me every night
Laying down and holding me tight
You're the reason my heart is whole
You're the love inside my soul
I think about you night and day
And i know it seems I always say
I never want to see you go
I love you and I hope you know
I love you with all my heart
And I hope we'll never be apart
We'll be together for all time
And I want you to know you'll always be mine.
We met by chance
at the local dance.
One innocent glance
to start romance.
It was just one look
that’s all it took.
But we were not free
My God what can calm me?
You know that I love you.
You know that I want you.
Why can’t we be
together? As lovers should be.
I want to walk with you
hand in hand as lovers do
Why can’t we be
together? As lovers should be
I want to be with you
and lie as lovers do
Why can’t we be
together? As lovers should be
ghost like on my back
Turn my body liquid
As ripples on a sun drenched lake
Ruled by none
Stands prone before a closet
Wondering what to wear
Must we really rise?
I was so happy there,
To meet the day.
None beyond the bed
Shout joy until we're hoarse
With nothing spoken nothing said
I saw it in your eyes
I heard it in your sighs
I want to do the things what lovers do
Don’t say it’s too late cause I love you too!
Clear sky above, crisp breeze of dawn
gently blowing on our sun-tanned skin.
Lost in the autumnal beauty before us,
we hear the leaves crackle as fire logs.
No bird songs to greet the golden-colored sunrise,
only two lonely souls walking as it grows and shines.
Many distant thoughts of Yule and gifts
escape from us with only joy to embrace.
The sunshine feels warm as the morning advances,
a few clouds appear and cast a shadow on the waves.
This path leads to a rolling hill which we ardently seek,
from here dreams never flee to disarm love's heartbeat.

" Falling In Love In Fall "
Some nights, no sleep, I lay awake, I still feel like I'm dreaming.
In darkened rooms, I slip away, my soul and heart start scheming.
Your face, a thought, as I get lost in memories of our past.
Smile and sigh, no worries or lies, I know it will not last.
For daylight brings, the truth it seems, no more fantasies awake.
Reality shows, coldness grows, the morning my heart does break.
Throughout the day, I'll ponder or pray of happy times ahead.
But soon as darkness comes again, sleepless dreams within my bed.
every morning is drenched in your perfume
the city in your presence lowers the volume
wrap your hand in mine so your touch can ignite my senses
inhale with me nature’s joy pass the white picket fences
through the clover fields we’ll run against the fresh breeze
we’ll free our restraints and laugh sick to our bellies
nestle and anchor me to your own private flight of fancy
trip me a flyway of buttermilk sky frothy and creamy
cradle me in the soothe of your keep
sing me tender to a dove-like sleep
by Rick Rucker
Does your heart, to you, sound like a spinet?
Ever louder, by the minute?
My diagnosis, sad to say,
Someone has stolen your heart away!
What's that you say,
Inside your chest it still does stay?
How can it be both gone and here?
You do not comprehend, I fear.
Once it has been taken,
All your beliefs will be shaken.
All of those things you “knew,”
Suddenly don't seem so true.
A heart is an instrument for others to play,
In choice of tune, you have no say.
Will that person play love's sonnet?
Or only “taps” will the other play upon it?
Will it be a concerto, brave and full.
Or will it leave you in a lull?
If the player is a master,
You may still avert disaster.
If the player is tried and true,
A duet will you both “do.”
Love's sweet song should go on forever,
Rising always, ending never.
How long can forever be,
Perhaps past Eternity?
It's in the hands of The Fates,
Maybe past The Pearly Gates?
I hope you find an accompanist that knows
How to play you, head to toes.
Starting softly, slowly,
Probably with whispers, uttered lowly,
Moving on, a little quicker,
Ever mindful of your ticker.
Better to not move too fast,
After all, you want this to last!
Suddenly you've lost your sight,
You don't know if it's day or night.
Feeling that you're in a haze,
Your nerves on edge, your brain, a daze.
Now the tempo has increased,
All inhibitions have been released,
You want this to go on forever,
Rising always, ending never!
Were it to continue, just like this,
You would never know the bliss,
Of the musician's artful finish,
The one that takes, yet won't diminish,
The feelings that this is our reward,
For doing work, and being bored,
By the petty things in life,
For this moment that feels like a knife,
Coursing through your brain,
Bringing that exquisite pain,
Was that all a dream,
Or did you just hear someone scream?
Rising now, to applause,
The musician must have been the cause,
Of the warmth that does flow,
All over you, from head to toe.
Enlivened now, but blissfully spent,
You know that this was no accident,
Like musicians have always said,
To get good, practice often 'til you're dead!
I was once a little train, sitting by the track,
Listening to the freight yard’s roar and all the rushing clack
When one day came steaming by an engine large and brave
My heart did a quiver leap, my wheels a twitter gave
Every day when passing by, the more our friendship grew
With each fleeting whistle blast, and more each time it blew
Then one day in passing, upon his track I went
Joyfully to meet him, from wither he was sent
Blasting from the distance, an airy cloud of steam
I rushed forth to meet him, the engine of my dream
Then with shock and wonder, my joy was gone alack!
For though we both were meeting, he wasn’t on my track
Off into the distance, he chugged and puffed away
Sweeping with him pieces of my broken heart that day
Often now I wonder, will he come anon?
Or was this a chance meeting, and now again he’s gone?
The tracks of life are tangled, in the freight yard of our race
We meet other engines that hold both heart and place
How to live? I wonder, when through our lives there sail
Many other engines, that aren’t upon our rail
Will we grow quite bitter, when those meetings on the tracks
Seem to mock the aching heart for all the love it lacks?
May each little engine take heed to what I bade
This life below is scattered, with meetings on the grade
Take each passing whistle not as one of gloom
Pushing back the others, and making itself room
I will always cherish, that engine bold and brave
Remembering now with fondness, the joy to me he gave
But now into the distance, I hear upon the breeze
That fleeting cry of freedom, upon which my heart did seize
Once every while, I gaze sadly down his track
But in my little engine heart, he’s never coming back
And so I hold those memories close, and never do I fail
For God had a reason for our meeting on the rail
All that gathers are dreams and lust.
Yet we both recollect to dust.
Snarls and entrapments our enemies conceive.
Smiles and smirks; they all deceive.
Come onto me and never betray.
Speedily swift and never delay.
The long-lasting love, hidden is, within fortresses.
Seekers we are, dwelling within whimsical wildernesses.
Trust me, do you? Do you have faith?
I will never disappoint. Promise, I do; in comfort we bathe.
The doubters say we live an enchantment.
They criticize and condemn the lovers’ entailment.
Fly and soar we will.
Laugh and cry upon happiness’s hill.
Live and die together we shall,
Because you’re my only love and truest pal.
From the first moment I set my eyes on you
I just knew my love for you would just grow
And when you looked at me I could only see
Pure happiness just waiting for you and me
Our love could take us anywhere and any place
Where I knew I could always see your face
I just want you to know now that I love you
And that for you my love will never stray
I can't just picture my life without you now
We were meant to be together and let our love glow
Life could be so hard but God made it for me fair
When He sent you to me, so pain would be easier to bear
Now you and I always are here so close together
And from here on, for each other, we promise to care.

She Already Was
She was good looking and so properly dresses
And had confessed how much I was impressed
With such a fine face and figure to go along
All things in right place and nothing was wrong.
Into her property all seemed to positively fit
Take my eyes off of her could not start to quit
Both of them on her had become completely glued
What I saw was beauty in everything I viewed.
Writing pretty poem about here had just started
And soon my fingers were tired and also smarted
My mind, right words was trying to retrieve
God said beware of news you are about to receive.
I stammered and over her had incessantly clamored
Being so in love with her and totally enamored
Then there was a terrible thing that tore me apart
Since a child, she had been someone else's sweetheart.
James Thomas Horn
PS. Wonder what Alice in Wonderland will think of this one?
As friends forever to be.
Sacred broken rules inside sexuality.
Forever we were mistaken drifter apart.
Can this go on loving you my friend.
Or is it wrongfully wrong should we make it end.
The feeling of love at friendships sake.
Did we go to far when we love made.
Does it need to stop emotions so confused.
Was it a mistake did we just love use.
Closing me eyes i will never forget.
Tell you the truth I have no love regrets.
Walking forward was it just a need.
Hoping its just a flower a sprouted see.
Can this go on loving you my friend.
Or is it wrongfully wrong should it end?
The power to burn, this much may be true,
But tell me you know I could never hurt you.
Fire's not in my nature, it favours your name,
The stars have dictated that you are the flame.
I could be the worser, my sign is of air,
Changing, and fragile, and hard to ensnare.
But such things can change when these elements meet,
A fire with no air cannot generate heat.
Broken Hearted? – Let’s Get Started
I guess you’re wondering where to start
Fixing up your broken heart
First things first – and here I’m guessing
Just stop and count all your true blessings
Find a loving dog or cat
Give it all the love you lack
Write a scathing, hateful letter
Burn the letter, you’ll feel better
Find a shoulder you can cry on
That one true friend you can rely on
Look up old friends – go have some fun
Take extra care of number one
When you feel down and have the blues
Dance in your briefs like young Tom Cruise
Give yourself time – you will recover
Believe me you will find another
Your everything is very graceful
Baby in my heart only you rule!
~ Imprinted ~
A kiss held and tucked away…
Stolen times for a rainy day…
Another dream under a different sky…
Words escaped a misspelled goodbye…
Imprinted and saturated in a poets sigh…
A clenched kiss that will never fly…
Will ye my lad, come sail with me
Cresting softly the swelling sea?
Hand to the oar, and face to the bow
Sail we the ocean, high wave and low.
The wind at our cheek, the briny sea’s dip
Rocks our frail bark, and threatens our ship.
The heave of the wave, our watery bower,
Lulls us at night with its sleepy power.
Day after day sweep we the earth,
‘Till safe we sail to our launching berth.
The lightning above, the worrisome gale,
None hinder us as onward we sail.
Straight and true, our craft does soar
Paddle we fast, spreading our oar.
Will ye my lad come sail with me?
None hath lived so wondrously free!
All fears behind, great joy to espy,
Cruise we to glory, both you and I!
Woken was the king to a reality when he was once great.
He rises to his feet to rise to the occasion, but only to find out he’s years too late.
You see, all good things must come to an end.
There are more things important than the money you spend.
Time is on the side to those who side with it.
Don’t blink because beauty you just might miss it.
The beast is the truth, and the lie you told yourself.
With love there is no need for wealth as I always say myself.
The throne slips through your fingers like sand.
No longer do you have a queen to hold your hand.
They say it’s better to have loved & lost than to have never loved at all.
I disagree because I see her face on every girl as she is my downfall.
However, you cannot force a king to rule.
He might be cut out to jester or be a petty fool.
The queen may never have been a queen to start.
She might take your riches & rob your heart.
I was once a king…
But I’m nothing more than a boy lost in love with no hand for my ring.
I guess love had my imagination in an odd place.
Either that or I should have seen the signs when you wanted “space.”
My mother always said my first love would be a fling…
But 3 years later I still feel like she was my queen & I was her king…
Now I wonder
If I could fast forward my life!
It would be nice
If I could know who is my wife!
It has been determined since creation.
From an almighty mind, a prolific conception.
And so has become the greatest of all inventions.
Eve, the prototype of such calculations,
Was destined to yield seamless replacements.
A perfect replica? Never such compliments.
Until a beautiful spring and a wonderful day
Witnessed her birth, and so was her name.
God's Gift to the world and mankind,
The ideal being and the perfect design,
With eyes that pierce the warrior's armor
Straight through the heart and steal his honor.
Able to borrow a smile from the sorrowful,
Or find the weakness of the powerful.
A blessing in her name and a fruit of a miracle,
She has become more than the revelation of an oracle.
And here she is, the pinnacle of womankind,
Ready to reach her prime and be enshrined.
God's gift to the world and every nation,
She is most worthy for conspicuous veneration.
Now In Heaven
Here I have been sitting in my high-chair, Throwing food here, there and
everywhere, And ended up getting a few things on me; My hands of course,
frowning face and knee.
Mama looked mean with ferocious fire in her eyes, Then before you knew it
started to realize, Long ago thought of doing a similar thing, And many
memories back would bring.
She remembered being about the same age, When dad had melanoma not
sure what stage, He had hard time breathing and started gasping; His
memory and health were now lapsing.
Took him to local hospital late at night; Tried to hold back tears with all my
might, When I say him so still laying there, Family and friends were crying
Next morning found his body dead in bed; Buried him and over grave prayers
were said, And pretty soon before each of us knew, Was an angel in heaven,
that is true.
Now every day when he looks down on us, Said to himself, they shouldn't
raise a fuss; While I was at church praying and kneeling, Looked up and his
face was on the ceiling.
At me, seemed to be smiling so sweet; Said in heaven we both are bound to
meet; By God every day am being properly fed, Also sure like lying here in my
So dear, yourself should start to prepare, Clothes and things scattered, here,
there and everywhere, So they will look okay when left behind, And thank the
priest who to us was kind.
Forget what happened and in heaven will be, With your soul from sin finally
set free; While here in heaven then take one last, Long look back at our
humble, happy past.
Sun will awake, and after, each day is done, You had been my fine and
precious one, Who I loved very much and oh so dear; Now in heaven , once
more, are nice and near.
For me, you were my fine, precious one, Who I always will love much and very
dear, Are in our arms once more nice and near.
A heavenly morning springtime bliss.
Early in our day, sun’s kiss
Wakes the frosty path we’ve passed.
In moving shimmering mist it’s grassed.
It breathes its first passion.
Our journey has begun.
To where? Or how or when? Who says?
Floating fingers there of haze
Point to unknown fields and dales.
Our footsteps light will leave no trails.
In swirling, billowing, sun-white veil.
We lose the track of this green vale.
White gossamer of breath,
Obscures our grassy path
But fog and passion dissipate.
Early breath can sublimate.
The morning’s stronger rays.
Allow more focused gaze.
More grassy and lush
Growing clearer. Hush!
The path tells us where to stray -
Reaching, stretching all the way
From the green vales of Eden
To the sunlit dales of heaven.
My mind is a crowded place but my heart is not.
My heart is looking for somebody who is hot.
Babe I can’t forget your exhibitionisms!
Van Gogh’s paintings are peanuts to your expressions!
You are mind-catching through and through
Baby I can’t help loving you!
When they met, their pairing unlikely.
From two worlds, stories differed slightly.
Into the forest ahead they go
He observes her, rosy cheeks aglow.
The pair ensconced in equal lushness,
where the Redwoods grow, the moss touchless.
Streaks of fresh sunlight mismatched in strength
cast upon their shoulders from great length.
Today she is his and he is hers,
no aches in their hearts remain uncured.
Unspoken words dance between their lips,
Looks exchanged, his touch on her hips.
Butterflies linger, often they do.
She smiles, eyes soften, her hope renewed.
Their start described as remarkable.
When face-to-face, their love thinkable.
If I am the sun you are sunshine!
Forever I am yours you are mine.
