Johnny Had A Girl

Johnny was my best friend through our early teenage years;
Wherever one of us went the other could always be found near;
Until he found a girlfriend who soon supplanted me,
But because he was my best friend, for Johnny I was happy;
Johnny had a girl
He had a girl
Johnny had a girl
She rocked his world
Johnny had a girl.

Throughout four years of high school I was always the third wheel;
Going off often by myself, leaving Johnny with his girl;
They learned about biology outside the class room walls;
Johnny always had plans with her every time I would call;
Johnny had a girl
He had a girl
Johnny had a girl
Oh, what a thrill
Johnny had a girl.

One week before graduation, coming home from a date,
Johnny never saw the drunk driver until it was too late.
For three months in a coma, I sat by Johnny’s side;
I knew that when he woke up, someone had to tell him she’s not alive;
Johnny had a girl
He had a girl.

I took him to the gravesite so he could see it with his own eyes;
We stayed there for hours so Johnny could say his goodbyes.

Johnny got in his car that day and started heading west;
Nobody has seen Johnny since, I wish him the very best.
I’ve taken care of her graveside for thirty years and more;
If Johnny ever comes home again, we’ll be friends just like before;
Johnny had a girl
He had a girl
Johnny had a girl.

Wrapping your loving arms around
somebody whom you love with passion....
is an expression of affection,
and no one expects a reward!

Only God gives love freely...
to demonstrate how intense is kindness;
and we ought to give it kindly,
not shying away from mindfulness!

Giving more than you have to someone
who needs comforting words...
is surely an expression of affection,
and deeper understanding without recompense!

Our struggles may cause us to worry,
leaving behind unpleasant reminders...
that we never learn from errors
and continue to act improperly?

Smiling widely and honestly
is the truest expression of affection,
welcomed as the most genuine intention;
why can't we all love sincerely?

This life is none than a short jeourney,
fulfilling what's called destiny;
lives are glorified by their deeds,
but also destroyed by insidious influences!

Coming to the rescue of your closest friends,
who seem troubled by hardships or pain,
helps them find hope when they only had tears;
stand by them with that expression of affection!

You may not be blood but your still family

You come over all the time

We talk about everything

And anything

I know I can come to you

With anything because you

Will always understand

We have a lot in common

Some people ask why do you

Even talk to her

She don’t care about you

At all

I tell them

They don’t know you like I do

And they never will

Because even though you’re not

Blood you are still my family

No matter what happens in

Twenty years or even two weeks

Down the road we will always be

Sisters for life

And I happy that I can look at you

And say I love you sis

Life is a many things
Sometimes life is a dark tunnel,
But every tunnel has a light at the end
I will be your lantern to guide the way
Cling to me and I will keep you from the darkness
Life is a giant battle.
I will be your shield and spear
Your spear to pierce through the horrible people
Who want to harm you,
Your shield to protect you
From the battles you cannot win your self
life is many things my dear
But I am here,
For you to use, to cherish, and love.
Life is many things my dear.
But you are not alone.
I am here.

The country gathering

The country gathering

Sometimes the folk all got together
In the little country house
Now there was Tom the tiny tiger
Well, he could be a louse
But could he play that old guitar
Man! he made it speak
And when the folk did hear him play
He made their legs go weak.

There was Winifred the otter
How she did those drums
Her rhythm it could suck one in
If you were feeling glum
You’re legs would start to dancing
As you’d rise up to the sky
And all those troubles that you had
They’d fade away and die.

Now Mugly Minie, could she sing!!
She was the porcupine
She’d stand there with a glass of wine
And she’d just blow your mind
As Billie basset, the friendly bear
Would play that bass so cool
Now he was quiet, and very shy
But lord, he had it all.

People came from miles around
To hear those fellows play
They’d dance and sing Chicago blues
Their hearts alive and gay
They’re going to be a big time band
One day, they all know this
But all they really want to do
Is play, that’s how it is.

New Year's Eve Ballad

New Year's Eve Ballad

It’s true one year just ended
And that another one began
In places crowds did gather
They drank and offered cheer
There was singing and ‘twas dancing
Celebrating the New Year.

As a child I do remember
This special time of year
When bedtime was extended
And the neighbors were all there
Together at the strike of twelve
Celebrating the New Year.

And as I grew much older
As did the other friends I know
We continued all to gather
As this special time did near
We talked of all the years past
Celebrating the New Year.

So many friends are gone now
So many that I knew
But always I remember
The times that we did bear
I think of them now as I am
Celebrating the New Year.

Last year we met such challenges
Not all glory, not all fun
But stood each with the other
As we chased away the fear
We faced just ‘one day at a time’ and now are
Celebrating the New Year.

Cheers I say to others
As I pop the cork and drink
Thinking now all days are special
Though life sometimes does seem unfair
Still I drink to health and happiness
Celebrating the New Year.

What will the day bring do we ever know?
Could it be the sun shining bright or flowers that grow
Or maybe a surprise storm that’s brewing out there
We just never know, should we always beware?

Is it a chance meeting of a friend or lending a hand?
Or eating a meal that is ever so grand
Is it a work day where everything goes right?
Maybe you saw something that gave you a fright

We just never know from day to day
Maybe it’s been a day full of play
Or a full moon lighting your way
As you kneel at bedtime and begin to pray

So when you rise the next day and start your way
Try to do good and don’t go astray
You have this one life to do what you can
And hope things turn out the way that you plan.

If the world were full of hippies

If the world were full of hippies
there'd be nothing left to prove
except peace and understanding
and a little bit of groove

Noone would be homeless
Like many live today
We'd build beautiful communes
where anyone could stay

Together we'd make music
to the beat of mother earth
there'd be no fighting or war
Everyone sharing equal worth

We'd grow our own vegetables
 and create trinkets to sell
We'd open up our minds
break free from our shell

Every colour and every race
would teach one another
we'd become a united family
every sister, every brother

We'd bless all gods creatures
show respect for the land
Give free hugs to everyone
openminded to understand

Nature would speak to us
Our world would become one
with peace and understanding
and a little bit of fun

A New Friend

I met a new friend today,
She lives very far away.
She hails from a far off distant land,
A country called Packastani.

We hit it off right away,
As we talked about our different ways.
We asked if we could become friends,
Even though we are from a distant land.

I said sure , that would be great.
She said cool , lets mark the date.
We played some games ,and talked for awhile,
Her picture looked like a princess coming down the Nile.

Even though we have a complete different view,
Friendship is only about me and you.
Our way of life may seem different and strange,
If friendship holds strong,it can be rearanged.

She is to be married in a very short time,
To the man she loves and thinks he is so fine.
Im sure they will be happy through out thier days,
ALLAH will watch over them in every way.

She said she is not sure if our friendship is for long,
Because after her marriage, it could be seen as wrong.
I told her not to worry , if that is thier way,
For here and now ,we just have today.

Tomorrow may never come, its hard to say,
Only God and His wisdom know the way.
As long as we are good and say our prayers,
The gates of Heaven will open, and God will be there.

Consuming Me

She drives that wobbly car
Stacked to the roof with goods
Squalor taunts her thus far
As she hides under hoods

Her babe cries behind bags
Baubles of plastic sneer
Purpose chokes on ball gags
When spending serves to steer

Tears well in her bright eye
While she struggles with rent
How will her child get by
On cash already spent?

She bats those long lashes
As she stands at my door
Wounded bird with gashes
Maybe she’ll need to whore

I long to comfort her
To regulate her pain
Emotions tend to blur
When yanked by Cupid’s chain

So foolhardy with joys
At discovery’s gate
I shed some unused toys
To help her mournful state

I’ve learned to live on crumbs
With circumstance’s ebb
All billionaires and bums
Depart this fateful web

Conjured visions of us
Tease my eroding mind
Intentions won’t cause fuss
When paid forward in kind

Yet her concept of friend
Surely differs from mine
Manipulations end
Alliance once divine

Wounds either kill or cure
What I am meant to be
Yet one truth shines for sure
Love keeps consuming me

We drove by her run-down house
with faded green shingles
and boarded-up windows,
a sad feeling overwhelmed us;
many times we helped her
to cut down the thick grass
and in return she gave us
three yellow flowers
as a token of her gratitude...
no one else could have cared more!

"These flowers are for you,darlings,because
you helped me plant them in the soil,
and they've grown to be tall and beautiful
in a garden so tidy and nice!"
she exclaimed in jubilation;
"Remember me by when
I'll reach my dwell
in the presence of the Lord,
and I'll be looking down on you and
pray with all angels to keep you safe and well!'
she gladly said with resignation,
foreseeing what she couldn't explain...

She told us about her sweetheart,
whom she loved indefinetly:
from the moment they met,
to the day he peacefully died:
a lovely and faithful wife
was all he wanted and dreamed;
and their marriage lasted
longer than they expected to be...
to be taken with them,
not being afraid of death!

"This is the grand piano I sed to play
for my husband on his last birthday;
he laid his arms on my shoulders
and sang along with me for hours:
on those snowy nights without moon...
when romance was rekindled with kisses
and the sentimental tunes
took away our winter's blues!"
she murmured with deep regret,
until her light eyes became wet...

The decaying house was put up for sale,
and only these kids have a story to tell
about the nicest person on that block,
who once was the prettiest girl-scout...
who loved us as much as her own children;
but did she deserve to be forgotten and die alone?
And if you wonder what her name was,
she was the kind-hearted Mrs Adams!

When youth sets us beautifully aglow
to soar on the swift wings of a sparrow,
and altough the unknown may frighten us:
we will not stop from living out those dreams,
because we are the constant seekers
bolder than the soldiers of fortune
willing to stare in the face of events that'll follow,
be in the incognito and confront fate alone...

Our main reason for being here
is to accomplish unthinkable and amazing things;
to start where the smallest dream begins,
and make it grow by taking the giant steps of an achiever...
We should never fear the challenges that lie ahead,
but is it worth to step back and not speedly act...
imagining of the wonderful visions
of the the unseen tomorrow that
rampantly flourish inside our impatient head?

Will we fall from the flaming, crimson sky
and grope our way to a passing cloud above
with the certainty of having found love,
or will we quickly come down to earth and die?
Which one is better: being a disillusioned dreamer,
who can still dream,or a sullen-looking miser?

Our main reason for being here
is to love with grace and intensity,
and have the willingness to break down
the ugly and horrible barriers of alienation;
and finally let all thoughts flow in without diversity,
to discover who we really are...

When your day is not going well,
look around to find someone to tell
your problems and worries to...
unless you lose heart and hope
and make you empty and blue,
but will you cope with your hurt?

The wonderful joy of being alive:
lies in the secret of facing your struggles,
and change despair into love;
many don't try hardly enough...
they give up and wait for miracles...
others erase their pain with a laugh!

When your day is not going well,
try to say a short and simple prayer:
that'll give you more strenght to bear...
and if misery knocks you down, stand up again,
and start looking at life with new eyes;
all the way through...your courage will arise!

Finding a better way is very pratical,
and when you reach your goal...
you'll lend your kind hand
to even passing strangers,
and love them as your very special friends;
then you won't be lonely and sad!

a lone loof

through so many slamming bangs
on the other side of that barricaded
locked closet door my tongue has bled dry
from pain too hard to swallow
face to the wind sweet winged dreamer
rise and soar in freedom
savor the knowledge of choice
enjoy the precious moments of too short

A Brother

They come in all shapes These folks we call friends Opinions they share And souls each one bares. But no friend comes close To that of a brother Great strength from within Tender hearts that don’t smother. It’s often been said To have many friends One first is a friend With whom one breaks bread. When one needs to glean The support of another Seek out far and wide The comfort of a brother!

A true friend

A Friend.

Associates, I’ve had so many
But let us speak of friends.
It be a term so often used
But I’m the worst of men
When it comes to picking holes in things
And a true authentic friend
He be as rare as rocking horse poo.
On a friend you can depend.

A friend would be there to the end
He’d take naught for himself
Oh yes a friend be wonderful
And adds to life much wealth
You know that when the chips are down
And the whole wide world looks grim
That friend will always be with you
His light will never dim.

This be as rare as hens teeth
But when the day does come
That you find this special friend
Your life will cheer up some
She’ll always soothe and comfort you
And make you feel real great
A friend is someone sent to you
By the tender hand of fate

Cherish him or her so much
Cause when some-one your heart does touch
There ain’t no treasure on this Earth
There nothing that could have the worth
Of the one who loves and listens to
And gives support always to you
A true friend he till forever
He will not betray you, never!

You Deserve The Best

If I were to paint our Friendship,
The canvas would change every day.
On Monday the colors are subtle
And Friday would blow you away!
The paint brush is much more expressive
With freedom beyond what we say,
The colors are pure, and oh so expensive…
VanGogh (and his ear) couldn’t pay!
 So… I painted with words
 A poem for you,
My sister, my friend in LA
 A canvas that’s true
From my heart, through and through,
To express what I wanted to say.
Three Years!! Holy sh!! That’s AWESOME of you
To keep coming back every day!

The Dream

Oh, do you know the finest road
That leads to my desire?
Nobody walks that trail but me,
My dreams will set to fire.

That one heart I was looking for,
The heart of Anthony,
The purest heart I’ve ever seen,
Someone perfect for me.

A dream occurred while I’m asleep
We’re walking hand in hand,
We sat down, I lean on his chest
Down there on fine, white sand.

Another night, another dream
It made me feel in awe
"I'm weary of this journey, love,
I want to be with you"

My tears fell down but I smile,
The feelings were the same
So when he turned and looked at me
I said “I want your name”

Forgive Me, My Friend

Forgive me, for I have sinned, forgotten my debt,
For I betrayed you, closest friend, and your sweet longing trust,
Your curse befell my painful soul , and thunder strike my lust,
For they may kill and seek revenge, but not with hate, not yet.
Shall my deeds, and my crimes, see your vengeance black,
While craving to go back in time,
 To wipe my wretched track,
I beg you, hear me and say , 'forgiven my friend,'
And rest your hands on shoulders weak, and follow me abroad,
More lies I spoke to fake the truth, more foolish acts of fraud,
A cold and deadly stabbing foe, no friend forgets nor mend,
But my friend, please forgive, call me friend, again,
For heart had gone astray and mad,
To leave you, friend, in pain.
And gone far, the talks and dreams, resenting the fact,
Your friendship worthy more than gold, in hours, in fearful night,
From you I seek the friendship lost, unfold its grace and light,
from you I wait the welcome sign, for eager heart to act,
And my friend, my long friend, from the mate, I seek
Again a trust to walk beside,
To trust my soul, all week.

The Song of the Loner

Cut out from the rest, feeling so left out I lay my head on my hands and sigh: Why did things have to happen this way Why is it that I was denied? Denied the basic friendship, A meager ounce of which could help, To grow in thought, deed, word and spirit, To help strengthen myself. Why is it that I feel the need, To sit in the corner and cry? The cold creeps in and I’m overcome By the darkness and void of the night. I lift my head and open my eyes, The tears they blur my sight, And through hazed vision I notice a single star, A lone beacon in the sky. The clouds they part and a million other stars Come out from hidden slumber; They join with that single star to make The glow in the night sky brighter. Combined with the light of the great white moon, They light up the earth below. Their twinkle and their glimmer reflects on the pool, Of tears lying on the floor. Suddenly the truth hits me: My life was playing right before me! I realize that soon the time would come When I would not be lonely. That there would come a day when I wouldn’t have to weep In self pity and dismay; That the clouds of hate and bitterness Would one day roll away. That the love and friendship I duly deserve Would fall like summer rain Refreshing my soul and replenishing my spirit Making me whole again. Yet till that day I have to wait And learn to shine on my own. So for now I stand up and wipe away my tears; My spirit no longer forlorn.

friend gets angry while we make them to wait.
lover wits and dreams until we go.
friend called dear means we wont feel anything.
lover scolded means too we ll enjoy it.
friend ll drop in house daily. we wont mind it.
lover ll drop one day. we ll feel it forever.
friend ll buy and give chocolate daily.
we ll through the covers.
lover ll buy and give the same chocolate.
we ll keep the covers safely forever.
friend ll say i'm their for you.
lover ll say i'm only their for you.

The Legend of The Light

The legend begins before time begins
In a far away land so beautiful and green;
The child gushed out to the sunny world
And was given the name Eileen!
But the gal was not an ordinary child
For she spoke poetry so supreme
In that far away foreign land
That was beautiful, vast, and green!

Since then, the journey of words took off
Writing to her became a daily routine;
Places visited, people met, and life incidents
All were summoned on papers agleam;
She gave birth to visions beyond
Any limits of time and sound
That girl who was called Eileen!
The spirits she evoked whenever she wrote
Rejoiced her name in the holly ravine!

The gal knew not she owns within her hands
A power that runs like a stream,
She poured her love to all who were around
From when she was a preteen!
But life was somehow severe and
Compelled to change the scene;
The young maiden travelled across the world
Leaving hometown and forced to wean!

Yet, the green fields she missed were revived
In a lyric, a song, or a heart-aching scene;
For the myth did engrave deep in the heart
Of the gal named Queen Eileen,
A light that surpasses any other light
Just as her name does mean!!

I am the face of misery
My life, a dissonance of autumn and spring,
The years are written in the same
Lugubrious, nostalgic grey
How can it be the author to blame?
I cannot scream this all away…
Burn nor Bleed this all away…
To Death I am Ordained

Lacuna ever growing
With Velvet sheets of life flowing
Aeons apart of my "royalty"
Under the mask the cannot see...
Can you dispel this tragedy:
Antigone - Epiphany failing

If it must be…
Then just kill me,
(Antigone) sing me out of reality;
I wear this dissonant crown of shame
(Antigone) Of a kingdom's disdain
I hate to be this way... normalcy's bane
(Antigone) Here comes the edict, to blame
The sordid child of Thebes,
This is me,

No words of hope
No words of hate
Do I have Lenore to send to me:
The sordid child of Thebes
Caught In the longest nightmare
life - the slowest way to die

I know this is my life
But I'm not under control
under the mask the will see
Just Another Human

If it must be…
Then just kill me,
(Antigone) sing me out of reality;
I wear this dissonant crown of shame
(Antigone) Of a kingdom's disdain
I hate to be this way... normalcy's bane
(Antigone) Here comes the edict, to blame
The sordid child of Thebes,
This is me,

If it must be…
Then just kill me,
(Antigone) sing me out of reality;
I wear this dissonant crown of shame
(Antigone) Of a kingdom's disdain
I hate to be this way... normalcy's bane
(Antigone) Here comes the edict, to blame
The sordid child of Thebes,
This is me,

Can you dispel my life; this tragedy?
Can you control the storm in my mind?
I'm asking you: can you rid me
Of The Curse of Antigone?

I sometimes sit and wonder, dad are you with me? and are you sad?
I think of the time I had with him here on earth
He was a this frail, little man who loved the Lord
He certainly did all he could, he loved yellow for he stood out in a crowd
My dad was a wonderful person and friend
You just had to do for him, he was always so happy and never sad
To have some help from time to time, he loved you to come see him
He was a true man of God
He went to church and gave all he had
He never had extravagant things
He loved the basics of having furniture and clothes
When I gave him the rocking chair for Fathers Day in 2008,
Little did I know he was getting ready to leave this earth
I remember being so very happy to see, the smile on his face
When I would come near
The thing I am trying to express for all of us is to love your fathers and
Give them your trust
For you never know that this little man from God in yellow
He may still be sitting in the church he loved.
I remember always my father he was, the light of my life and now he is with the
Lord above
Love your fathers and let them know that you truly love them so.....

Memorial for Cain

'They' tell me, now, A husky-mix dog won't stay. Tie 'em up, pen 'em, Or the neighbor's complain. So, I didn't even Look for another Cain. But let me tell you, My Cain dog was Husky. Silver and grey and a 'from the toenails' growl... But HE stayed, no chains. Small town, Oklahoma, no leash. Everybody knows everybody; me and Cain, Bicycle riding, summer days. Grandma Dugan waving, Mr. John Long tossing out soup bones, For Cain. "Yonder's thet Earli and her dawg." "Boy! Pur-D-hot! Wisht'id rain." "Wonder whar she's going 'ta noon?" Nap, doze, one more summer gone... was Cain. "Hey Earlie? Thet you, girl?" "Whar's thet big white dawg?" "Oh yeah?" "Too bad." and "How'd he die?" "You don't hardly seem like Earli, Without thet white dog, Cain." Ten long, hard years and lots of road. But no white dog's shoulders To share the good times...or the pain, And...I don't hardly FEEL like Earli, Without my white dog, Cain.

A cup of coffee we met
Miles of ride we went
Ideas, opinions we vent
Few minutes we spent

On the coolness of the light
I heard laughter so dear
High up staring to the skies
Picture of you not a liar

You play jolly to quiet songs
Asking me sometime what wrong
Fallen short yet been long
I didn't know, we can get along

You and I are strangers
Obviously don't want any danger
Craving; thirsty and of hunger
Oh! everyone avoid a pretender

You are from afar somewhere
Of which we share something not fever
Camaraderie and ideas so tender
Honesty no doubt a big waver

Maybe in a lifetime once we'll meet
Or maybe will never have chance for a meal
However, If we can settle for a deal
A relationship we can build real

Try to feel, try to feel
Life is like the round wheel
Up and down it does turn
Short or over may give you a burn

Persons everyday come and go
Unto your hands lays the choice
Don't be the unpredictable bingo
Rather humbly be precise...

Friends that we can, forever be
Of pair: A gentleman and a lady
Regardless others say, be steady
Near perfect combination we may be

The Long Way Home

trotting across my back field
there’s a storm brewing-in
it’s misty friend is climbing
through the cold, prickly wires

Delicately drenched,
as wet as
a dog’s kiss,
there’s a-storm brewing-in
it’s casual pal is breezing-
bothering the wicker trees.

his smile-
brightens my mind
like the italian renaissance.
inhaling red tipped
we chat under the glistening leaves.

But there’s a storm brewing-in
it’s hamper full dirty laundry
is drying-
stringing across my back yard.

his laugh-
is as pleasing
as old dogs learning new tricks.
Just one more outburst,
and I swear this storm will turn to stone.

I bask-
his attention is as gratifying
as a masters gentle stroke
just one more round of
darting eyes and light hearted jokes.

I realize now,
He grumpiness does best
to protect what’s raw and rare-
from the snakes who try to tear us away from home.

Like stumpy cigarettes,
hanging off the tips
of tough our lips.
we’ll share each other’s worlds.
Yes, Like stumpy cigarettes,
hanging off the tips
of tough our lips.
let’s melt into each other’s worlds.

The toy collector

Toy collector:

He holds the bear gently in his old wrinkled hands as he gazes into its kind beaded eyes. The toy collector sees love lined in its double stitches and his childhood in the busted toys smile.

There stitched in black thread he can hear the sound of a child laughter, happiness, and growth reviving his memory of youth, like a jolt of life to an empty vein.

The years have passed freely, almost fleeting by. He had no more time to play in grassy school yards or hide from girls wearing satin dress, he had to grow up. The boy eventually turned into a man and was forced to pack away his toys regrettably into a wooden box.

There they sat in the attic awaiting the return of their beloved friend while he aged slowly into an adult.

High school came and went, college, even marriage but unfortunately he was never blessed with his own child. No one to share in the lined pleats of his own childhood. All of this he now recognizes in the bears sandy eyes.

The toy collector hands his most prized procession to his wife, a dazed look covering his forlorn face.

She takes his withered hand and speaks gently in his ear.
“All the memories in the world could never replace the love between a man and his bear.”

“Yes, but even the toy collector eventually grows to old and must let go.”
He replies in woe.

His thin lips force a smile as he repacks the boxes that escaped him long ago and in the early morn of the next day he patently sits alone outside for a bus to come.

The driver honks her horn and greats him with a warming smile.
“Are all of these toys for our orphanage?”

The toy collector regrettably nods.
“Things have been pretty rough but this will surly lift there sprits up.”
She confesses as she gently grabs a random box.

As she stacks them one by on into the now cluttered van his bear falls onto the pavement below.

Unable to pick it up he wrinkles his brow with great sadness.
Suddenly the passenger door opens revealing the face of a young girl and as she draws near she extends her hand and clutches the bear.

“Did you find a friend little Lou?”

His heart melts as she kisses the teddy gently then smiles.
“thank you.”
The child coos softly.

The toy collector lives in the toys he collects, but the man lives forever in the bear the child now possesses.

Midnight Kisses

 Midnight Kisses

Walking side by side talking crazy
Yelling obscenities to the city
Not caring laughing out loud

Stop in our tracks
Softly kiss in the moonlight

Walking in the dark bumping hips
"What is on your mind?"
"Just happy to be in the moment"
Arm slips into yours

Stop in our tracks
Softly kiss in the moonlight

Talking about the wisdom of our ancestors
And hearing what the walls have to say
Wondering at the idiocy of architects

Stop in our tracks
Softly kiss in the moonlight.

Feeling your heartbeat against my hand
Running my fingers through your hair
You gaze lovingly into my eyes

Stop in our tracks
Softly kiss in the moonlight.

For You

Listen, I have something to say
Oh! It's not really me, It's my heart
It's crying saying,
I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry
It's broken saying,
I'll never get tired of saying that
every minute of my life.
It's dying saying,
I'm sorry, I'll never get tired even if all signs points me to none.
It's lost saying,
I am not expecting anything
But you can expect me to say I'm sorry still,
even if all signs points to none.
It's sorry saying,
I missed you.
It's hoping saying,
Please forgive me.

You are my friend..
Come show your hand
Memories we bot had
By gones still be a fad

You are my friend..
I will always understand
For you, I'll take a stand
Uncertain it maybe, no run

You are my friend...
I do not like ever to bend
Try and try we will mend
Love and care always ascend

You are my friend..
I will extend a hand
Even my life I will tend
From God, You are heaven sent

Forgiving The Unforgivable

Forgiving The Unforgivable.
I held my peace and sung a song,
that echoed through the righteous hall,
my right, my truth, all put to wrong!
As judgment fine had met the pall.
How can there be a better way,
to tell the world of foul play,
than those, your words, that captivate,
and that, my looks, you separate;
your lies, your tricks, my punishment!
In years to come a sure lament;
but life shall only last its days,
until the sun these men does gaze;
then deeds shall bind our spirits such,
would implore it the heaven's touch,
so again shall meet face to face,
when shattered is the time and space,
there I shall pardon and forgive,
as not in this dimension live,
and from this burden be relieved,
that had a trusting friend deceived,
and yes, I have just this to say,
that friends and foes alike decay,
but on that day, you I shall see,
as an error of mortality.
I hold my peace and sing this song,
That echoes through the righteous hall,
My right, my truth, all put to wrong!
as judgment fine has met the pall.

How can I tell you?
I can't stay with you.

Neither I can give up on you.
Fear of losing you is losing me.
It feels like slow death every night.

But we are just stuck in our spaces!
Unable to connect from two feet distance.

This is beautiful world
A den we live in good
And this is my heart
A chamber I put you at

I never surrender await for you
The dawn and the dusk came and go
Now I found you I won’t let you go
The day you left silent me in sorrow

The world is not crazy
Those lonely days were laid for me
I crossed the high bridge of grief
I longed the days we simply missed

You let me feel no alone
Your presence is my own
You never let the sun down
You are the moon I head on

If you need the eyes to cry
I’ll lend you my tears to try
If you want me to fly
Let me adore you by

I love you everyday
Never any word to play
A replacement to this someday
I love you until grey.

Don’t ever let it go again
Don’t try to leave me then
Don’t forget you are my given
Don’t let this love suffering...

A Saga Awaits You

The crowd pushes as your soul pulls,
You along your path to obscurity,
Where the light is engulfed,
By the clouds of eternity...

Timidly you lag behind,
Lost in the eddies of time,
And slowly you trudge,
To the same old grind...

But for the one who sees,
Dreams in splendored color,
The seeker holds the keys,
As one searches for the other...

Sparks of desire flood your mind,
While the cold dark streets glow,
From burnt embers lost in time,
And mounds of dashed hopes below...

You thrash and flail in utter desperation,
And you need that which can not be known,
Unless one is seasoned by your imagination,
When the dream is passed and the hope is grown...
Then it comes to you in a flash,
Love must be shared to exist,
So to others your hope is passed,
And your light escapes the mist...

The seeker surveys the vast multitude,
To find the source of the light,
Where the gift of hope was shared and grew,
Piercing the thin veil of night...

And to these dreamers is dared,
A glimpse of wisdom anew,
For you who love and share,
A saga awaits you...

Prepare to finally see,
The source for finding purpose,
In all that you do and can be,
Lies in what you can do for us...

For selfish deeds trap us,
And kindness offers you much more,
Once you apply this to practice,
Blinding light will pour forth...

And as the secret is shared,
Love rekindles the awakenings,
Among all those lost and scared,
Wonder and awe the new day brings...

Remember the grandness of this tale,
The next time you find yourself lost,
For what you offer is the holy grail,
So much hope... for so little cost!

Transient Friend

It feels like centuries, a time far from here,
Times and events, Distant and unclear.
A bond we shared through thick and thin,
Once made of steel, now as weak as foil tin.
Why did this happen? I know not how,
When did it begin? It eludes me now.
My friend, my companion of life long past,
Far from me now, time had flown so fast.
Lamenting for the time when we were like glue,
We played, we laughed. There were none like you.
I will not settle with memory alone,
I will seek you out, we shall atone.
For time we have lost, we must regail
The stories of our lives, the triumph and fail.
They say that a friend is ephemeral with time,
Fallen out of touch, but forgetting is the crime.
For we should endeavor to keep our friends,
To settle all disputes and make amends.
Don't let silence fill the void,
Or friendships will be damaged or worse, destroyed.

What if I never met her

I had a friend named Emily
She had to move and hurt me
Now everything in my life in dimly lit
I wish she never left, now I can’t see

Her family was there so she left
Emily was a dear person to me
Who left in one quick fluid deft
I hope she will one day help me see

I am sad she left but she had to go.
I just wish everything would light
I just hope soon she will leave to
Come home to do what’s right

If I never met her I might be more happy
If she had left later I would be more sad
Maybe if I never met her I wouldn’t be sappy
Since she left I got more time with my dad

I really miss her and I wish she would come
Home where she belongs, I understand why
If her mom could’ve got her needs from home
They would not have left I think if they

Had a choice, but they did not
They had to move her mother had cancer
She had to go and I wish I got
My ring back, I hope she returns with Melissa

I hope one day she will return and that she will
Never leave again because when she left it really hurt
Me and I want to her to come back and pay back her bill
To me and never leave me again and meet people named Burt

When and if she ever returns I will promise her to always be
Her friend no matter what happens, and I hope she will always
Know that no matter how hard it becomes she will always see
Who I am, When she returns I will walk with her in hallways

William part 1

I ask all to be open minded as I tell the story of my friend, William .
There are so many prejudice in this World , from color to sex

To me it has always been the soul , the person inside
For one that is shallow will not experience life in true blessing

William my friend was African American , he was fun and personality full of 'I am here "
William was Gay , William disowned , William called "A queer "

Well this is a lesson for all to know
God does not care what color , but the heart , what color it shows .

I had left my 1st Husband , with 2 children I had to support .
I was depressed , felt alone in the civilian World of a sort

For when I got to Monterey bay , I was on a Military base
Very shy and recluse , not leaving the perimeter of the land
I opened such a big door when I left that abusive Man

I had the tiniest apartment with 2 little rooms , probably 550 sq. feet I presume .
I will never for get the night He came to my door , William ," Girl, lets go dancing
Let's go explore ! He called me 'The platinum Blonde "

We went out together and danced , he was amazing ! William energized any room . He Lit it Up !
For he had something inside his beautiful soul , no money could buy, nor silver or gold.

Well years went by in Monterey bay , I had fallen in love with a man , Lost so much time .

Time went by , after the man broke my heart ,I remember "where is William "
I missed something that lies deep in my heart . The true Love and friendship of he I craved .

Now this story is long so go to "William part 2 "be patient , be brave .

The Fault Was Your Own

The Fault Was Your Own

With these words,I wonder if I shall break your spirit.
With these stones and stick,I plan to break you.
With this bloody revenge,I will have you wholesomely.

As you slap away m hand let's say our fear is only great toward me yet your cowardice actions are full of jokes

You nothing more then an eye sore,To prideful to even realize that'll you'll fall break before the day is done.

Tick tock,Tick tock. Your clocks running thin, for if I a prideful beast breaks I'll be sure to bring you with me.

Ha,such a dirty creature do you think you can hold me using such unpleasant scene from a forgotten past?

Of course not these be not your past but you near future,Repeating everything over and over until it to much to handle.

Turn around and drink your poison. Even though your no more child you seem to carry a burden not you own,I will have no regrets ending you pitiful life.

How about I become you poison and let me end you futile life.
I will decided how I die and not let some stranger decided who I am.For that purpose I wield this sword.

What a foolish person,to wield a sword for the person you love is what it is and not for the sake of some unseen future. How can you possible care of a future when you stick yourself in a shell and refuse to leave a past that has forgotten you already.

When will you stop with your nonsense.I have no past therefore my future is chained up,perfectly awaiting me.Let me repeat your punishment so you know.

As this we recite the lines as one.

With these words,we will break out spirits.
With steels and spears,we shall break our body's.
With these bloody revenge,we have betrayed each other for the last time.

Black; brown; yellow or white
Wherever you came from
Rich; poor; young or old
Whoever you are

Professional, educated or not
No matter what status you are
Single, married bisexual
No matter what personality you have

We can be friends

Life is more colorful
When friends are dear and truthful
A shoulder to lean and cry on
A hand to squeeze and hold

Indeed, pals give comforts
Worth of fortunes like treasures
Whenever disagreements arise
True friends win for sure

True peers protects and cares
They understand and reassures
Forgetting any pressure
As they know all will are God's creatures

Friends are not selfish
Selfless like love in flourish
It is beyond time and description
It is far from extinction

In sooth did she speke this to me - Cassandra was she to me
Wistful - I am no bride to be

Though remains - façades of humanity
Angel kind - wicce of my welkin dreams
Casted by the lote of she

Caught with twain

Angel dearest so fair - love does not share
Seemed a crux, when eath is lone
I rose for thee - cede all of thy love to me
Or was this not meant to be
Eros's deceit
So wistful - corpse bride I remain to be

It is...within the tiny things of early morning, that moment breaths alive, it is within the tiny whisperings, that a melodye the very dear and the antelope, play home on the range.

so goes the melodye of heart beat, that plays quietly the songs of soul,

here a rhyme is born of day-light coming so soon, through the early morning eyes of the moon-light, and the starry dreams of twilight's transitioning...

into the light of a love letter written to dawn.

soul to soul conversing, as in this love letter, the letters just join hands with the words and just march across the sky...and at the end of the rainbow, there be plenty of golden time,

way down deep on the inside, the inspired choir, of a bumble bee, or a butterfly, starts to sing, like tiny things that live,

flower to flower,
blossom to bloom,

watered and deeply cared for...

O' Eden.

I say, deep beneath the surface of a wishing well...where the pennies lay,

I wish a sun-rise.

One Year

10/18/2007 To Krista, love, Karen

When good things try to scare us with things we don’t deserve
Sometimes we still believe our lies and never find the nerve
To proudly stand and take the coin
That proves our lies were wrong
The months and days all in a row
The minutes took so long…
But here we are, one year has gone
And Krista never drank
The kids were kids
And all day long
Well, Krista never drank
We met again at Kingston Creek
That Saturday in June
We shared a common trait…
Who knew?
The two of us were doomed
Around the rooms for many years
And couldn’t find a friend
Imagine that. Both in AA
The ‘clicks’ were smaller then
So Krista shared and so did I
About our sad dilemma
We both were gorgeous, smart and funny
But couldn’t find a frienda
The whole thing was hysterical
When we shared it with each other
We laughed the laugh
Of those who laugh, and go on to recover
Laughter is the medicine that heals your every wound
I thank you Krista for being my friend
And getting me here by noon.

And Then there was you

There was hue...There was dew..
A lot of smiles...& some tears too...
Lot of friends....trusted enemies few...
Known to me was bliss and happiness...
                                                                              And then there was You....

You walked in through the mystical light...
Full of blissful learning and pure delight...
I wished all harm be out of your sight...
I tried to help and be there with all my might...

You had many a story to tell.. ... lies shared little did i know..
One day all that i selflessly gave ...would be turned against my own soul...
I walked beside you in complete faith of all i was told....till God could take no more...
He stole the moments and tore me apart to maybe save and take control...
Why did the truth not come forth from you...i will never fathom...
When all i asked of you was simple facts..and never judged or held your heart for ransom...
In truth we could have served our noble it's pure light we could have stood so tall..
Why then did you not think to protect my heart...and let it in this well of lies fall..

Did you not but once stop and think of how i might feel...
When you realized all my spirit one day your untruth would steal...
For all the love and care i gave ... i got back a handful of allegations....
Enough to destroy my heart and soul and demolish all my aspirations...
Why i ask my angels did i deserve this humiliation...
So much strife , scathe , suffering and frustrations....
All i gave was undying care and genuine love...stood by you always...
Never did i let you down when needed..never did i walk away when your call heeded...
For all that was shared...Why wasn’t i spared....
To give me an ounce of honesty ..back i wish the person cared....

As life moves on...with some hurt and some hope too.....
As i try and remain to my life's purpose true....
I remember once i had my innocent heart and soul that believed in people and truth..
                                                                        ...And then there was You

Random Penning….Ruhi..

Moon On The Run

While moonlight fades from day parades
for battles lost or won;
and city lights show dimly bright
their nightly random glow,
we tell the tales of mystery
as minstrel songs are sung
to spirits of the silent night
reconstituting Poe.

Compassionate communion made
as all await the sun,
with glasses raised in fare-thee-well
to moonlight on the run.

Now listen to the west wind blow
the lonely poplar twig,
as brittle leaves in trees begin
to rattle with the flow.
We gather up a cord of wood
for fire and make it big;
but just enough to warm the soul
as flame and fire burn slow.

The liquid blue cathedral sheen
of countless silver stars
shines bright infusing light tonight
as part of God's routine
and we, uniquely blessed with so
much more than less by far
now gather here to share each year
this loving, joyous scene.

A bold and young astronomer
observes the red orb Mars;
he looks with pride and points straight up
then blows a kiss to stars -
a young man more excited
with his universe than cars.

We join in friendship circle
here and pledge our common soul
as each and every member sends
a special thought to God.
I feel the thrust of nature like
a bud to blossom whole
and gaze at space until the blur
of blue is just facade -
a universal miracle
like diamonds formed from coal
are equal to not better than
the lowest locust pod.

Compassionate communion made,
as we await the sun,
with glasses raised in fare-thee-well
to moonlight on the run.

My day is blessed with leaping, blissful heart
And as I look upon the days that rolled past
And found in their path the hue of seasons
My soul cannot help but smile
On the memories that glitter on my crown

To rejoice in the little and great things
And find in the unveiling dreams

Last night I couldn't sleep, for thinking only you...
As I wrapped in warm embrace, your spirit tinted blue
To oust away thine pangs,in hopes to see thee smile...
I'll yoke ye 'pon my shoulders,to carry through this mile

To trade your tears of sorrow, and see them shed in joy...
I'd jest for thine amusement, and be your favorite toy
For thine malady been expelled,I'd invoke it banished 'way...
Taking it 'pon mine self,so you've strength to seize th' day

Though I'm not an king, nor prince 'pon ivory steed...
Th' possessions I've procured here, are thine if felt th' need
I'll sweep thee off thy feet,if not familiar with th' waltz...
To breathe ye 'cross th' ballroom,as an feather floating 'loft

Mark mine words I state here, and hold me to their true...
I'll prove I 'steem thee precious,as unfeigned I surely do
Just promise me one thing, that next time when your down...
You'll wear these words as armor,'til I mend thy broken crown

My Forever Shining Star

All the oceans in the world
Can’t hold the tears I’ve cried
Nothing in this world
Can take away this pain inside

I can’t believe you’re gone from me
I can’t believe its true
I never wanted memories
I only wanted you

I miss the little things you said
Those words that meant so much
I miss your eyes, your laugh, your smile
I miss your every touch

I miss you every morning
Every night and every day
I’d give all my tomorrows
For just one more yesterday

When they asked what words I want
Engraved upon your stone
The only words that I could say
Were ‘darling please come home’

You were my every reason
My hopes and all my dreams
Someone to believe in
When I questioned what life means

Always there to guide me
My forever shining star
I’d give my all to have you here
Or be there where you are

In a world of changes
It’s the soul that never dies
In a world of strangers
I still see me in your eyes

This pain will never go away
My shattered heart wont mend
Lonely days and empty nights
Are now my only friend

But if you’re looking down from up in Heaven
You will see
That part of you forever more
Will be a part of me...

Walking with her her of cattle,
As happy as she will ever be.

Without this there would be only she,
And i could make her as happy as me,

I miss her immensly, for thee i wish well,
For everyday i wish she wont sell,
And I could show her in the Dekalb County Fair,
I would sell never an ounce of her.
Hehe not even one of her little white hairs.

Even when all the way over there,
Mine she is for no one but me to share, if I do so happen to dare.

Cute as a button,
A button her nose may well be,
Where I first touched her sweet little body,
Not once but twice sweetly,
For wherever she goes I could spot her, along with her sister and mother.

Many a mile away, for she is not at all,
Not at all what you would say a little grayish thing.

But a heifer who grows daily,
Only to shove the motherly tears away.
In my eyes though, she will always be, forever and always, my baby girl, my sweetie,
my beautiful girl, my Mousey

A Broken Fairytale

Once upon a time,
A boy met a girl
With his best friend in toe.
This boy and this girl
Became young love in its essence.
His best friend became what some would call
Her own personal hidden blessing.
His devotion for his friend
Couldn't quite bring him to confess,
But he cared about that girl enough,
To warn her of future distress.

After 3 long years,
Of the back and forth romance,
Their young love finally ended,
The girl was broken hearted and defenceless.
She had given her all
To someone who was only willing to take it.
The best friend tried to warn her,
But she couldn't see her lover fake it.

A year would pass,
Before the best friend would find,
His best friend's ex,
The one he longed to say was "mine".
A birthday of hers
Was his golden opportunity.
When he missed her night out,
He offered to take her to a movie.
She wrestled with the thought:
Do I open that door?
She kept pushing it off,
Until she couldn't avoid it anymore.
Neither one of them expected,
Or even could dream
Of all that would come
From one night, one movie.

A love affair of sorts,
Filled with constant ups and downs,
But despite their best efforts,
They couldn't help but stick around.
A year and 2 months
Of the greatest love that ever lived,
Was shared between these two,
Who were only just kids.
Neither one of them was ready,
They didn't know what to do,
They loved so deeply,
But this experience was so new.
A girl with a broken heart,
With no sense of true self worth,
Met a boy with a broken heart,
And the desire to move forth,
With her by his side,
Forever hand in hand,
Yet she felt she didn't deserve him,
And did what she could: she ran.

Now her love for him consumes her,
But his heart is in pieces.
Now he's too afraid of her
But his love he swears never ceases.
And she cries herself to sleep at night,
For the best friend she hurt foolishly.
And she prays for their future together,
The one he says can never be.

She is from the past
Her eyes still shine bright in my mind
For she lives in my soul
Her magic is strong
          For she has endured
There is a reason
For her beauty was not skin deep
I was blinded by youth
          For her love was clear
Raven hair and stars in her eyes
          I will never forget
So I sit here and write
For she is on my mind
Forgive me and be my friend
For I am on my knees
Time is gone
We are not

Better Than Grace

how can we pretend that everything is okay
when the world is soon to turn to grey
I've took this life and its treasures in vane
when you'd easily trade with me any day

you're amazing better than grace
so amazing just can't turn the page
amazing can't find the strength
to gaze at your face and not look away
look what we've done, coming undone
slowly fading away, so amazing
better than grace

you say they gave you less than six months
never thought it could hurt this much
I'd give anything just to save you
oh what can i do, just say because

you're amazing better than grace
so amazing just can't turn the page
amazing can't find the strength
to gaze at your face and not look away
look what we've done, coming undone
slowly fading away, so amazing
better than grace

with every breath we take, just another test today
don't walk away before it's too late
we should all be ashamed of ourselves because

he's amazing better than grace
so amazing just can't turn the page
amazing can't find the strength
to gaze at your face and not look away
look what we've done, coming undone
slowly fading away, so amazing
better than grace

Traidor Friendship

"Friendship?your calling it Friendship?
you Whispering behind my back and you calling it friendship?
Huh,Your Mentally Dumb Girl."

Behind my Back your Gossiping,
Behind my Back your saying words that are mean to me,
Behind my back you hated me

Are y`all Really Friends?
Or to be so called Friends?
I thought I could Trust you!
But you,You Betrayed me!

You all are No way called friend!
I Loved you all as a Sister,
I really did and this,
This is what you repayed me?!

You talked in what I look like,
In what I do and how I move,
the Only thing to say is No way!

I Looks like a Dumb Girl During your Laughing Sessions,
I feel Like I`m alone and away from all of you,
Oh How Preposterous!

They all Judge me about how I look,
But they don`t know how I feel
They talk about How I move,
But they don`t know what I can do.

They Tried to judge me for who and what I am,
But they don`t know me.
They know me Outside,
But they don`t know the Real me Inside

Baseball life?

What does it take to step up to the plate?
Every time there is a mistake

Life seems unfair at times and you get out
Other times "HOMERUN" is just shy of foul

Family and friends are your team
Communtication and practice prevent your defeat

Without it you make mistakes and get tagged out
or cause an ERA and begin to doubt

So when it happens that final day
when its bases loaded, two outs and your up to the plate

3 balls 2 strikes and your down by 3
You decide how its going to be

Sure, in the end it doesn't matter who wins or loses
The decisions in life always leaves its bruises

Ol' Blue

Ol' Blue
© FNF 4-12-2014

One never knows what fate will hold
Within the coming days
There's highs and lows, but none foretold
Until it is too late

My dear wife Sue and our son Drew
Died in a crash one night
Seemed suicide was my next move
Until Ol' Blue arrived

I bumped into a dog rescue
While tying up loose ends
I stepped inside and through the gloom
His look said, "Where ya been?"

I paid his fee and left the pound
A steal at any price
For I had found the wisest hound
Was ever given life

Ol' Blue was not so very old
That first day that we met
And yet he was a settled soul
And easy to confess

I took him home and fed him well
But nothing to compare
With how he calmed my tortured self
When darkness entered there

I shared my heart on many things
And heeded his replies
He didn't speak, there was no need
The words were in his eyes

Though fate was cruel, it, too, was kind
I'm coping by degrees
Thanks to a dog who almost died
Before he rescued me

US Under Alien Stars

Here's to all that put up a good fight. A tough battle of day, so we can all safely sleep tonight.

Our brother troops on a foreign ground, wide awake with evil all around.

Outcasts in a bleak lifeless place. Any free time, just trying to picture your face.

Day falls away, and out comes glimmering stars. Not much else to see here, but broken walls and burned up cars.

Within many U.S. troops, thrives a common hope. To defeat these psycho groups, is what we all mainly scope.

Day by day, days drag on. More time here and more friends gone.

Many wish on these stars in the sky. A common wish to finally say goodbye!

Some time from now and not too long, mission complete and soon to sing the song.

These years have come and past. We all have grown very strong, and the bond will always last.

Next up coming, will be our ride back home. Back with our family and freedom to roam.

A Street Light's Prayer

A Streetlight’s Prayer

How shall the torrent of light from
Other men’s redemption spent be divided, shared?
Can I be spared from such a valid question seeking
What measure shall I take this night for day; timeless
In lesser stances set to shield all in swift decay – what shall
Our evenings last breath yield?
Grant us nightly in this sodium dot municipality’s system timings?
For in lungs deep recesses lurk the brightest idea.
Yes, I concede this value timing blue; how succinct is all that seems to fall from
splendor, the way my brother’s mark their time; oh, how I ache to know their boundaries,
The toll their souls must pass; I long of finding that seam
Within their dreams that turns our current inside- out; how unrelenting it all seems—how
they stave the waves of circumstance driven down by lesser demons;
How shall I embrace them all?
Will time run against the grain upon which sleek causation seeks to slip me up?
This is all His doing, is it not?
What others bring and lay upon his feats of commerce,
Of movement, of joy!
Yes, for better be is all ado;
This is my truest hope for you: For I see it all now so
Clearly as the flares, which line the highway: how great this has all been…
How great this will – if eye only let it – be.

I wish we could go back to those days when we played as kids
When you used to be my boyfriend and my hero
When you meant a lot to me and i meant a lot to you
When we were close friends who could not rest without seeing each other daily
When you came playing to our house and i came looking for you in your sitting room
Well time has passed now and memories are all we have been left with
We both have new friends but do we really have to forget what we shared
We see each other i lectures we look at each other and there's nothing but memories
The same silent boy i used to know
I wonder as i used to wonder when we were kids what makes you silent all the time
Memories are all i'm let with

A Day Vs. A Lifetime

A day in love with my very best friend:
That's all I was given.
Straight out of Heaven,
God sent me an angel instead.
He sent me a lifetime of love til the end.
Thank you for that day.
Thanks for going away.
Now, I can smile and say,
"Thank you, God, for a day of pain,
And for the love of a lifetime that followed."

Before you

Before you:

Before you love was a word of foreign magnitude. It had no meaning, no depth, or even feeling, It was something I simply feel into blindly. I had grown accustom to pain, my lovers actions of immense throe causing heartache I had never wanted to know. My lips have kissed that of undeserving toads, like I was a wondering princess with wounds to show. My features were never found to be pleasing, my characteristics labeled as quite odd, making myself a curious handicap for any man to have, so the idea of prince charming was depraved, but then I met you.

Day by day a smile grew, I laughed with joy I had never knew, and an odd sensation even grew. My abdomen started to quiver with isolated flutters, butterflies causing jitters. My cheeks blushed with the perfect amount of rosy color and my once vacant mind rambling onward with thoughts of you.

Suddenly someone had become my day, suddenly someone had become my night, never in my life would I think all this to be true, but no lie could ever come from these words I write. For you give me reason to be happy, you give me love when I feel undeserving, and the kindness you show me is exhilarating, never temporary.

The way you care, the way you offer me compassion and show empathy for what I have to bare makes me feel strangely human once more. The way you touch my face, your fingers slipping through my hair, the way you stroke my pallid skin, whispering loving words in my ear, and the way you kiss my soften lips makes me feel wanted and every wall I have ever built suddenly no longer exist. I feel like a women, no longer a scared girl because now I know all the wondrous things love has to give.

Never do I want to lose my reason for vulnerability, I fully enjoy the free falling sensation and my heightened sensitivity.

And to think it’s all because of you.

RIP My Brother

Today marks seven years you had to go.
Your journey here was a tough tow.
To better things the other side.
You've left me feeling really lost.
But the memories are never tossed.
Even though you're in a better place.
That don't stop the tears rolling down my face.
You were my buddy, my pal, my friend.
Most of all you were my brother that held my hand.
RIP I love you always!

The sapphire sun of what-were dreams
Setting in the forsaken east
My winters' desperation clung to your silent voice
Let death be a choice
Dusk revealed your truest nature
Before her argentine eyes
'Tis the darkest of tragedies, romances' maladies
Let your forgiveness be la Vie In this frozen air
The wings of my deepest despairs

Friend or foe?
The dagger close to my heart--
If your forgiveness is nigh
Let me know--or is this all a lie

Lilyheart Swain
Please don't give into your pain
You hold my soul on Eden's Edge

Your innocent flesh
Cradled in my broken arms
Forever you will be mine, forever you will stay
The snow caressing us as we tangle in deathly embrace
This darkness fades into amber innocence
Hatred no longer exists
Forgive me
Come back my only

The winterwind tears carress me
With whispers, (of) Someone I Once knew
Calming the fears inside
But the pain remains
--hallcunary rains

Dreams fading with the Enya in your eyes
With the darkness of your hands
The silverfears of the pale moon
Shine on you

Lilyheart swain
Please don't give into your pain
You hold my soul on Eden's Edge

Your innocent flesh
Cradled in my broken arms
Forever you will be mine, forever you will stay
The snow caressing us as we tangle in deathly embrace
This darkness fades into amber innocence
Hatred no longer exists
Forgive me
Come back my only

Your eyes search for mine
Oh how they shine, blue
Sacrdice has a price
Heaven is calling us tonight

Cursed In shadowed illusions
Shall we dance?
Would there be a chance
Forgive me now
I will rip out every nail
Of your coffin
I don't care if it's God it will offend

Lilyheart Swain
Please don't give into your pain
You hold my soul on Eden's Edge

Your innocent flesh
Cradled in my broken arms
Forever you will be mine, forever you will stay
The snow caressing us as we tangle in deathly embrace
This darkness fades into amber innocence
Hatred no longer exists
Forgive me
Come back my only

Best Buds Forever

I still remember that day when you were a kitten,
You were so small and fit in my hand like a mitten.
I knew when I held you I would raise you,
The love I felt was more than true.
I was with you at my grandma's till I could take you home,
Then the journey of raising you began...

We brought you home and I showed you our house,
I still remember when you saw your first mouse.
You jumped out of my arms and made your attack,
I stood there and watched you get your afternoon snack.
Then we were deciding on names for you,
I just felt something with dexter and knew it was true.
I was only 8 and didn't know any better,
I did some things that I still regret.

I tormented you so bad,
Looking back it makes me sad.
But I grew up and knew how to take care of you,
Even though what I did when I was younger made me feel blue.
You grew up so fast,
I never thought me and you as buds would last.
But it did I'm so proud for that,
Because in the end your my cat.

Then came the day we would move into a bigger house,
But you never again got a hold of a mouse.
You were so scared but I took you under my wing.
I showed you around the house and you were so happy.
I redeemed myself from everything I had done.

Things got better between us as the days flew by,
The love strong that were flying so high together in the sky.
You greet me when I walk through the door,
I feel so touched that I fall to the floor.
I cherish every second that your on my bed or just saying hi in my room,
The smile that's on my face brings a tear that would make flowers bloom.

Now your all grown up and still getting older,
The temperature in my heart has gotten colder.
So cold because I know your time is soon up,
I'm struggling to figure out how full is my cup.
I only wish you could live longer and we still be together,
But we will always be best buds forever.

In and out like that of a play
His wound now bore a mysterious clay
The Capitan’s voice made him stay
As he bowed now in silence to pray

As he awoke in the morn he slips
A water glass to his dry sweet lips
The witch doctor smiled and came to grips
To the startled son that time forgets

Smells of food ensnared his hunger
A bellow followed its sound was thunder
“Morning child! A hungry monger?”
The boy sat up his food placed under

Hot rolls, sliced ham, and sausage links
“A bath today, this boy now stinks!”
The captain agrees to what doc now thinks
To wash away the blood that leaks

His wound stung when the water struck
A model ship and a rubber duck
Shared the tub, the lads in luck
Red Beards love has finally struck

The wind it blew with rage Its ferocity knew no end Uprooting trees and throwing them about Causing even the strongest ones to bend Yet in the midst of catastrophe A tiny seedling stood Shielded by a rock nearby That provided it a sheltering hood The rock it did its utmost best To keep the youngling free from hurt It stood this way for a few months While the seedling grew in height and girth Now along with the plant grew a wild weed Which looked fairly beautiful But underneath the false façade Lay thorns that were meant to kill It took the support of the youngling And twined around it as it grew Slowly but steadily it was killing the plant Yet so cleverly that no other plant knew But then there was one who was watching The rock it knew what to do It prayed to the heavens and the earth To help split itself into two And so the clouds sent bolts of lightning Which struck the lowly rock The earth it shook and quaked that night And centered its fury on that spot When at last the painful deed was done The rock mustered up all its strength And with tears of sand and smaller stones It heaved and shook till one half of it fell And that half fell upon the evil weed Pulling it away from the young plant As it watched the weed release the youngling The rock smiled and breathed its last With one half it had crushed the weed And kept the youngling from being killed While the other half remained standing Still shielding the plant from the wind

I saw them once!

It was monday afternoon and a cool breeze parted my hair like a blooming flower
Long as my hair was it looked magnificently golden as it shown with power

Sweet summer sweat gleamed off of my skin as I ran through the field
Endless energy and spirit my presence could wield

Just in front of me skipping as she pleased.
My childhood soul mate the goddess Genivieve.

Hand in hand we danced and giggled without a care in the world
My first crush was a tomboyish little girl

Silly as it may sound but the truth is this
She made my heart jump and my legs twitch

As the sun wound down into eve
The colors in the sky was a masterful weave

Just as the orange and purple sky grew darker with the passing hour
Angels flew after the fading gold tower

I knew she saw them too! So we talked with smile and gleam
Could we have shared the same wonderful dream?

I knew then on that we were supposed to be
Though now she is much more than a memorie

Every now and again I find myself looking at that same setting
Imagining the girl I once new at our childhood wedding

Now she sits at those same gates and stares into my eyes
while I sit here and blubber and cry

That is not only what she does for me during my time
Her hands steal these keys and formulate rhymes

He seems like jolly Santa driving a beat-up car
loaded with lots of presents and while driving
he'll be caroling, greeting everyone waving
at him; and they should put on happy faces,
be kind to each other and exchange embraces...
never thinking it's old-fashioned and bizarre!

O Yule giver, reach out with your kindness,
it's the Holiday Season...why be so greedy,
and not share with the ones less fortunate?
O Yule giver, touch them with your generosity
and they will once again believe in love, not hate!
O Yule give, touch everyone's heart with your gifts!

The festive avenues are the mirror of wonderland,
shops displaying animated figures with merry eyes,
as music plays in a background of twinkling lights;
why shoppers are in such a rush...will the sales soon end?
Look at you, Yule ring your golden, glittering bell
and spread the Christmas cheer: you have a story to tell!

O Yule giver, remind them who will be born tomorrow:
a Savior and King to take away their pangs of sorrow,
will they believe you and gather around to listen?
They may have never heard of His birth announced by trumpets:
was a stable fit for a heavenly king who God had gladly chosen?
But why such humbleness from instill love in proud hearts?

O Yule giver, you will dazzle and amaze them with a reading from the Holy Book,
and if all stopped and heard of the Nativity story Herod hated:
the smiling babe, who wears no crown would certainly look,
and invite them in to worship Him whom a virgin conceived...
O Yule giver, proclaim the Shepherd who promises eternal joy:
seeing no color or race, but welcomes everyone into the kingdom of endless glory!

me no matter what happens and she always listens to you and whenever you ask her for her
help she’ll help you. And we talk just bout everything and whenever we get a chance. And
we’ve known each other about 5 years now and forever and ever ? and every friendship
has a story and always has a up or down problem so you not alone not even close. And if
you wanna know people just start talking to them so you could get to know them a little
better than ever. And negative people look up to us because how close we are and true
friends do everything together. And we get along with other people no matter people say to
or about us because we don’t care at all because it doesn’t hurt us at all and if people claim
to be one of your friends and they talk bad behind you to be honest that’s not a true friend

Shelly Cole

A bright Texas sun
Beat down upon this day
In the middle few should know
A teenage soul should stray

Stolen by a thief
With no apparent motivation
This man offered
No explanation

A mighty blast filled the air
She had wronged none
All of a sudden
Her life was undone

Now robbed of her life
She shall carry on
With the pull of a trigger
She was forever gone

Yet carry on she shall
Carry on Shelly Cole
For your passing was
Out of your control

Happy you shall be
In the heavens above
Wings you shall have
Like that of a dove

Your beauty lives on
Long past your breath
It was near devastating
When informed of your death

Shelly, O Shelly
What has been done?
For your eyes where brighter
Than that of the sun

Though your body lies motionless
On that of the floor
Your soul shall undoubtedly
Live evermore

Carry on Shelly

A Smile Summit True

A Smile Summit True

Oh, the young do await the game;
They put off ‘til the morrow,
The weight of dreams to bear;
They blunt the anguish and sorrow,
Draw near my sullen few;
I’ll whisper in your ear: the neon
Glow, the murmur low calls one
On to chase it; yet such love
Is lame;
A dirty shame;
Our scars will never show it,

A true friendship is the place you go home to
When peace you cannot find.
It keeps a part of your soul
And is never far from your mind.
A true friend will forever forgive you
And never count how many times.
They will teach you how to
Make limeade when all life gives you is limes.
When you are hurting in your own little hell,
No matter how far you may stray,
The truest of friends who knows you so well,
Will always know exactly what to say.

Healer Of Pain

A man struggles to see the light,
Which shined so bright.
Darkness impours him and he fight's to break free,
But there's no light and he can't see.
The darkness is strong he trembles with fear,
He makes a cry to God loud and clear.
Forgive me for I have done wrong,
The evil around me is just to strong.
I come to you,
To help me through.
He opens his eyes and suddenly can see,
The light he had lost but now found for God answered him and set him free.
He thinks to himself how could I have been so vain,
But he forgives himself for he was saved by the healer of pain.

Friends, Fools, and Fame

Chad is the musical genius battling with wits
Kevin is the Thespian that quotes every script
Travis engineers botanical gardens menacingly quick
Dawn brings our savagery down with a kick

Roommates - learn from them and heed their lesson
For you can progress if you master their blessing
Don’t get caught slipping or even resting
For its your skills that they are constantly testing

Remember what has been done good and bad
Memories of events will be all you ever have
Though maybe in a way that is sad
But what ever happens be grateful and glad

One discovers mysterious things when people happen
Like what you really find absurd or what’s hot and crackin’
Quirks, fidgets, and repetitive behavior eat at your factions
Just remember ones blunders are noticed too through action

Community and partnerships form up around this deal
Apart of a common wealth are now deemed real
Study this observantly and notes you’ll steal
Around ones friends you develop and feel

Outside this commune one has another view
About the responsibility of another cast and crew
Life views some as stars others as a tool
But to those one lives with be the mindful fool

I Missed You

my saturday is gone
my saturday was a bore
it feels like i am hanging
on something that i tore

maybe it was my heart
maybe it was someone
my mind is failing me
it feels like i am done

i sit on the couch
i changed every television channels
and i am wondering alone
my mind is freezing on a wondering panel

like a cage or a prison
being held for what it is done
what was done was that i lost you
and this is what i had become

it is not sorrow
it is neither my emptiness
for it was not empty
it was filled and always be.

but why do i feel this way?
why do i feel a sense of astray?
why do i feel lost and disarray?
i am sitting on a couch
but also passing my day

so the song sings in my head
and i cannot leave without a doubt
that i missed you within me
and i missed you
with all my remaining pieces
of my heart.

My Best Friends

They are the ones that I met
They are the ones that I have found
They are still here and I am Glad
Because I would never want to go down

They are the laughters and smiles
They are the sky and the sun
They are the ocean and wind
They are the only ones

They are my best Friends
They are the people who I hang on to
They are my best Friends
We are not just some bunch of Fools

Susan is feminine but she's the daisies in spring
Her eyes sparkled and she is strong in what she thinks

Mat is a flirt but he is the joker of the group
He never likes girls to treat him some kind of a fool

Susan loves fashion designs and talks like any other girl
Mat loves himself to flirt with the girls around the world

And I dont care for what they are
And I am just glad that these are the people that made me come this far
And I would not make a mistake in pulling ourselves apart
We will keep ourselves in daylight when we beginning to feel the dark

And I love them more than everyone can see
They feel like they are more than just a family

Because they are all i have in me

All I Have in me..

Here I Am

breathe in hard
see it wide
the sky is so bright
yet, its so cold tonight.

a love has gone and fade away
and i have lived through these evil days
and you're gone to find another way
go on now, i care less what you may say.

so i take my leave and wave goodbye.
before i exploded and live with your deceiving smile
so here i am, leading a new life
how wonderful it is to see again this beautiful sky..

i counted the stones that i left behind
there's no more happy memories that i can find
it is okay, giving out a little sigh
my life is no more broken as now it has shined.

so i trimmed my hair a little
and yesterday, i turned seventeen
no birthday gifts or midnight parties
just me and this time machine.

a little older, i have become
a little bigger now i am strong
cuz here i am, leading a life

a life and place,
somewhere i belong.

7 years of a decade

It was my first day of summer school
I dipped out and said "i don't know how to lose"
Time passed fast
And i'm quite sure i failed to last
So welcome back to the one-way road

The summer i met Vicki Marie
told me if there's one thing she'd change
It'd be my way of thinking
Living so carefree
I can't turn back or keep from sinking

Brandon played and ripped that guitar
Madison said we wouldn't get far
Everyone else said "you don't know who you are"
Taking shots down at the local bar
The riots outside the Dejavu
Holly's telling me "I miss you too"

said you were my brother
We'd be friends forever
I can't tell you howmany times
I think back on those days

But i wouldn't change a thing
I would've fought a little harder
Two for one at the local pub
I don't wanna die a martyr
when things fall apart
you got to try a little harder

If i could go back i wouldn't change a thing
Even if it wasn't meant to be
She said, "hey dude
you guys are living so carefree
I too, want to have the time of my life"

A Proud Marine

A majestic Marine
Who was always was there
No other human being
Could possibly compare

No possible word
Could ever truly describe
For every mention of his name
My heart and eyes fill with pride

He was a United States Marine
Illustrious and respected
Yet he demanded none
He was always there
To protect his dear grandson

The last few years
Were Oh so agonizing to see
To watch a hero that once stood so strong
As solid as a tree

Crumble into a powerless
Helpless man
Yet he fought
As if on the shores of Japan

No matter how steep the slope
He never lost hope
It’s been
Two years and seven days
Since he passed in the fight
The only thing he would have said
Was "it’ll be all right"

Never was there a man
More worthy of the stars
He even had
A few battle scars

He fought at Iwo Jima
And Guadalcanal
And received the Purple Heart
On the island of Guam

He held so much respect
For the soldiers of foot
That his own role
He overlooked

When we converse
My parents hold true retention
The day I was born
Daddy Joe began to spoil me with attention
They said his heart
Was in another dimension

The most excruciating pain
I have ever known
Was watching my strong Marine
Whittle away to the bone

No possible word in diction
Could ever possibly explain
The gratitude I feel, to have
His blood in my veins

I love you Daddy Joe

Sitting on a smooth rock
as waves crash into it...foaming,
and splashing their salty water on me;
it is warm and soothing after burning
on dunes of sand...listening to rock,
and one of the songs caught my fancy...

The dreamer who follows the stars
is an unloved soul running from time,
searching for secrets in this Universe...
but finding only sympathy for himself;
he can see the sea-birds in flight,
and wishes more peace at every sunset!

This pen dashes all thoughts off,
to relieve this mind of unwanted clutter,
clearly seeing beyond the noiseless shore;
and like survivors of a shipwreck:
I let out a deep breath, to feel life
at its best ,and joyfully play my clarinet...

The dreamer who follows the stars
 loses their traces into space,
they go further and further and disappear from his sight;
he counted them all when they stood still and shone
above the ragged canyons of a dreary moon in silverlight,
and how can he hope for their return and not dream alone?

Fugitive darkness gives away to dazzling sun-rays,
the shrills of the gathered sea-gulls, by the beach-house,
bring me back to an existence of joyful laughs;
I am repulsively sad to have fallen into sleep,
to have missed moments that could have inspired, indeed,
another song for the dreamer who followed the stars!

With words that come from within
My heart is glad

Memory Lane

I’m about to go drink away
Friends lost down memory lane
Some died of age
Others gone by actions of vain

One thing is certain
Their memories shall last
When a man starts drinking
He thinks of the past

Friends of new
And friends of old
Some friends feelings
Have even grown cold

Down memory lane
They shall always be
Down memory lane
The good times is all I see

Yet it hurts so much
For some were stolen
Yet one still lives
And that friendship was golden

Stolen it was
By a thief in the night
And I did what had to be done
To make things right

A Touch of Bittersweetness

A Touch of Bittersweetness

Nay, I say as tears well up
I think of our full past
Together we had conquered all
and laughed with joy to last.

My memories, I want to keep
But sadness they do bring
Your smile I shall not see again
But regrets, no, not a thing.

Your contagious laugh, your glittering eyes
Like stars, you were so rare
But most of all, no one compares
To your loving touch; you care.

Forever more you shall remain
In hearts of everyone
For your heart of gold, we all do know
Familiar, yet eternally gone.

I speak with clarity and honesty,
and don't hide underneath pretenses;
never my promises turn into lies!
How long have you known me,
and yet you fail to see my sincerity...
when the warm light of friendship glows?

More fear than certainty
is a weak and recognizable trait
that strongly and deeply affects
any or all feelings humanly;
be logical and overcome distrust,
there are other ways to show love...
without being touched or felt!

Be sure to be true to yourself,
and not resent the unsaid words tomorrow;
open up to the noble truth, not false belief!
I am not demanding anything,
or foce you into doubtful giving;
isn't this friendship worth more than love?

More fear than certainty
makes gladness fall away,
thinking that being ungiving
is only a sign of selfishness ,
or unfelt sweetness;
each heart should be guided by self-defining,
not by self-scrutinity...
or a constant improbability!

Stand Tall

"Stand tall" is what mom said,
But They all know Im hanging from a thin thread.
"I want to do this", I tell my friends,
But they all think Im doing this to become one of the trends.
I want to stand there and give all Ive got,
But Im afraid what they'll say,the hole lot.

Im shaking and terrified,
I dont want this to go on the downside.
I want to be told Im good and Great,
Cuz I wanna be the schools new update.

I might get a few laughing and telling me Im done,
but I want to make sure I furfill my mission.
I want to show off and thats no lie,
I want someone to make me cry.

Make me cry cuz I was so good,
I want mummy and daddy to know that the room was no deadhood.
I want to make everyone cry,
So everyday People would ask me to sing high.

Im afraid and that is true,
but This is what I have to do.

Texas Stars

Under the Texas stars,
far away from the cars...
I see them twinkling so bright.

I thought about You and I,
what we said that night...
as I held you tight.

You told Me, You'd be true,
I said I'd never leave You...
under those bright Texas stars.

We are in love,
I'm your man...
and you're my little dove.

I thought about You today,
while making hay...
and know we'll be O.K.

Think I'll see You tonight,
and hold You tight...
under these bright Texas stars.

So I pull on my boots and hat,
can't wait til we chat...
gettin' slick for my gal.

You look like an angel,
dancing the two step...
till the music fades under those Texas stars.

Friend to the end.

The lies I hear.
How bad they hurt.
don’t let it show.
don’t shed a tear.
Just leave it to myself,
Never to tell aloud.
 Cant tell no one,
Left on my “hurt shelf”.
When ever I do,
I try to hide
The irresistible feelings
Whenever I cry.
Now, you have hurt me,
And don’t even care.
The way I feel,
Or how he does his hair.
He never even loved
The way I acted,
Or the way I talked.
Just the way I looked,
And the way I walked.
Your suppose to be a friend.
Not for 5 seconds,
Not for 5 minutes,
But a friend to the end.
Just a friend to the end.

Ever get that sinking felling?
The one you can't escape?
I'm walking down a lonely road.
A passenger of fate.

Every day is torcher.
A self-sustaining hell.
Every moment's a blind approach.
There's no one I can tell.

But my conscious still retains,
Thing's could be much worse.
Indecisive actions, perhaps...
Or lying in a hearse.

Still, my heart is yearning.
For whatever could have been.
I feel the dagger burrow in.
I'm bleeding with this pen.

I've said all I can say,
Now I'll just be on my way,
Down that lonely road again,
I'll walk forever, with no end.

With your sweet caress
Accept the offering
I have for you

Only you have my heart
Only you have my life

If you are to be with me
Anything shall posses

Only you have my heart
Only you have my life
In poverty
In observance

When I was walking down the hall I felt a pain that hurt me
poignantly but it was not really there

When I was walking up the stairs I met a man who was not there
and he was not there again to day- oh how I wish he'd fade away!

When I was at the table alone I spoke with a lady who was dressed
in grass and cotton but she was not there and maybe I was not either

There just is not a way to know when we are dreaming is there?
Nevertheless dreams do come true some times

Try This on for Size

Try this on for size.

We’ll be friends to the end, though we’ve never met,
And should we greet when we meet let’s hope without regret.
Talk is cheap and easy to keep when you’re half a world away,
But we should try, don’t ask me why, to communicate this way.
We’ll hear their sighs when we win the prize and finish in first place...Tony Lane

An johnson says now "talk is cheap, don't be talking down to me,
i'm flabbergasted, out of sorts, going behind this tree,
i never did have a friend, so far away from she,
waters flowing good just here, the flowers say heheh,
so climbing down from me horse it's time for we we we."

Last Stand

Night turns to day
Day turns to night
Past the past
But that’s all right
It has come once at last
Our final calling
Our final stand
We’ve came so far
With the stroke of a hand
With the thought of the mind
Finally shown
 Is the unappreciated sign
Of which one can leave
All the past behind
All that is true
All that is pure
Is now gone
Experts are now sure
The last hour is upon
Now what is to be done?
 Where shall we go?
Time surely will show
Yet what time is available?
What peace is left?
What is next?
Life is a never-ending test
Of our gift of will power
And choice making
Yet the wrong some
Are always taking
Decisions of war
Decisions of peace
Mean nothing
Till the killings cease
Only then shall our race
Find true peace

Don't Follow Me

Picture features stretched and strained
Hearing unfamiliar names
Knowing if I let them in
That I’ll be taking all the blame

Oh, your pain it scares me so
Weird connections but I know
That I’ll never want to show
How we face a common foe

Falling faster sweeter still
Sitting on your window sill
Razors hidden in the frame
Some where I know more remain

Oh my sweethearts, oh my friends
Can’t you see the cold in me?
Remember the fun never ends
You have but to turn the key
Don’t follow me or you might fall
Don’t follow, I run into walls!

A knife tucked in your pillow case
A smile plastered on your face
Exactos slipped in every book
Sharp bits hid in every nook!

Orange and purple, blue and green
Colors deeper than they seem
But I know every one can see
Red is under every thing!

Long and loose, my cut-off sleeves
Sweaters under bright green leaves
With all this darkness pouring in
I hope no one asks me to swim.

Oh my sweethearts, oh my friends
Can’t you see the cold in me?
Remember the fun never ends
You have but to turn the key
Don’t follow me or you might fall
Don’t follow, I run into walls!

Friends gather from near and far
Bumming rides and stealing cars
A little love shouldn’t be this hard
But talking won’t rub away my scars

And though I feel it’s hopeless
And though I feel the heat seep in
I try so hard to quit this
But I never seem to win

Girls you know I love you so
But when my hands begin to glow
I just need to fade it out
Pain is what it’s all about

Don’t follow me or you will see
Steak knives hidden in the trees
Razors stashed through-out the halls
Remember I run into walls!

Remember I run into walls!
Remember I run into walls!
(whisper)Remember I run into walls…
And where ever I’m wont to tread
I’m always hanging by a thread
Cradling my spinning head
From all the things I haven’t said
I know I’ll never have it all
Answering a distant call
Stop following to see me fall

Pope Puiu(2)

Lonely, singing "doina" in the magic corn field,
With a wooden sword and a little green shield,
I follow my elder brother and kids who secretly go round…
The naïve clouds and…a bee dancing in the air blond;
The kids smoke a cigar made from the corn`s moustache.
At sudden, a snake hisses near my flower… "Don`t touch !"
Puiu said and my brother repeated: "Don`t touch it!!
Soon after that, was I ready to cry and scared a bit;
But Puiu taught me "to smoke just like a pope".
So, by breathing ,I said: "Hoooo! Horses of Pope!"

From the "Ballad for two violins"` landscape,
I remember him : happily eating a big grape;
Admiring the flock of thoughts with a thick thrill;
Since honey dawn, till the tender "Evening on the hill";
Then , running to open the gates for the bishop.
Then, waving his hand and calling the nun Hope.
Stroking a withered rose ,still red in his hand…
His smile in the no time light trying to mend…
Then, drinking hard and angry, good ready to rape
The monks` sacred silence blue; stroking his nape…
Again, with much faith praying and ready to nap.
I think good night was coming from his old cape.

I imagine him crossing the Grigoresco`s glade ;
"Here, God visited us…!" he happily said.
"If I go in the heaven, I `ll send you a postcard."
The scent of onion tried to hide he had drunk hard.
I imagine him guarding the heavens` blessed gates,
And… keeping us for a long time , his good mates
In front of them, as he did it with the bishop , once …

See my waist my love, can you hold it from swaying to this lifechanging

Love Me

Love me now
Love me today

Wait not,
for tomorrow
Tomorrow waits,
today waits not!

Let me know, today,
you love me
show me, today,
you will love me, tomorrow

Let today be the beginning,
of tomorrow,
let it be the beginning,
of always and for ever

Let me hear, today,
in the warmth of your breath,
in the rhythm of your heart;
you love me, today,
and will, tomorrow,
beginning today

Let me see, today,
in your quiet countenance,
in the flame of your eyes,
bright as lightening,
on a rainy night,
yet tender,
as a gentle flame;
like a candle in the wind,
with a guardian angel,
watching over it;
holding back the wind

Let me feel, today,
your love, soothing,
as the morning sun

Let me hear, today,
your love,
rolling off your tongue,
flowing from your lips,
to my heart;
in the melody of your voice,
sweet and gentle,
as a breeze on a mountain top,
in a quiet autumn night,

Let it flow, today,
gentle as a quiet river,
running deep and steady

I mind not, if it comes,
a mighty rushing wind,
only not a trade wind,
here today, gone tomorrow

I mind not, if it is hot,
molten lava,
from the volcano top,
only boiling slowly

When it cools,
may it not,
turn into a stumbling block,
not a rolling stone

But a cornerstone,
stable and able,
weathering the elements,
enduring time,
through today,
till tomorrow;
for eternity

We Know Enough

I don't know much of Heaven
And I don't know much of Hell.
I don't know what I cannot see
Or hear or feel or smell.

I don't know foreign words-
My ear is far too rough-
But I know a very little
And it seems to be enough.

I know the taste of Summer,
I know the chill of Fall.
I may not know the names of stars,
But I know I love them all.

I know behind each Winter
There lies in slumber Spring.
I know how to kind of dance
And I know how to sing.

I know we live to smile,
I know we're born to die.
I know that there is sadness
Even if I don’t know why.

I know behind the darkest clouds
The sky is still so blue.
And even though we’ve never met,
I daresay I know you.

You once had a mother
Who loved you from the start.
And even if she’s gone now,
You carry her in your heart.

I know you’ve been in love
And I know it made you cry.
If anyone asks you if it hurt,
I know you want to lie.

I know you laughed at nothing
When you were very young.
I know you’ve said things you regret,
I know you bit your tongue.

I know that you’ve felt pain,
More than you ever should.
But the greatest thing about you
Is that you still try to be good.

I may never meet you, friend,
But that has to be okay.
Because you and I still know each other
In one important way.

Our ears can be so sensitive,
Our tongues can be so rough.
But even if we don’t know much,
We know we know enough.

I Can't Explain Part 2

To hold you close to me at night please know I want you to teach me to love you even more ~ please show I want to spend the rest of my life with you Please believe me when I say this, for it is 100% true I miss you even when your down a hall I hear random whistles and I look for your call For my father to love you, as he says he does It means so, so, much to me ~ it always was I can't explain the impact you have on my big heart Your everlasting love pierced through my world like a dart The love poison you poisoned me with will show But for now all I can say is that I love you ~ just so you know

Ballad for Pope Puiu(1)

If in your veins ,you still hear the horses` silver hoofs,
And the copper moon escapes its smile on the roofs ,
Don't let them go alone as Pope Puiu did before to die :
He watched the empty wall and said his dream was just a lie.
His sleepy devil darling,
And lots of angels sing…
The song of Falstaff-Pope Puiu , my dear old mate:
Half is lowing as a mule: grave, grim and obstinate;
He crushes the dark with white hoofs ,
He asks Coco , his brother to stand aloof,
While the fire was consuming their old roof…
The rest is mixture of lullaby and gospel …
The ember of desert slowly trying to spell:
JOB lives in me:
Lonely like a tree…
Coco wore white chilblains after long sleeping on snow.
Puiu wore heartburns ,and other inner wounds that grow…
They knew the ice and rude Siberian wind that froze
The parents` soul, the smiling sun, the rare rose
Of our old recollections with crossed golden swords…
But now, the grass knows a new play upon words:
There my thoughts were turned into stone.
I drink, friend, because I forget things; I feel alone
Like a syllogism burned by the life's light;
Like a hoof of mule crushing the night.
Under the rusty leafage and grass` oppression deep,
The unseen roots, much loneliness and secrets keep.

Oh, Marianna Grazia...
was my friendly neighbor,
a lovely lady in her eighties!
She became a widow when her
husband died of a brain tumor,
he was a sailor of many oceans;
how evident was the sadness
of Marianna Grazia!

She had a Grand Piano, made of cherry oak,
not covered with a speck of dust, and smiling
she played an improvisation with style;
and it depended on her mood! The rays of sunlight
entered diagonally and rested on it, while
her feeble fingers played the same, harmonic melody;
and her hubby liked to hear those notes enthusiastically...
that's how I remember Marianna Grazia at her best!

Oh, Marianna Grazia...
went to church every Sunday,
and passing by my gate, she always said
hello, and asked how things were going!
She gave every kid on the block candy
and flowers she grew in the back-yard;
oh, I miss how you hummed that song...
oh, Marianna Grazia!

Today I walked by her house,
the Venetian blinds were closed at noon,
I was overtaken by a sudden gloom;
her youngest daughter approached me
and mutterred very grieving words,
" My mom has passed away in a tragic way,
she slipped and fell, and hit the cement;
she passed out as blood gushed from her forehead."

Oh, Marianna Grazia...
never will I have another conversation
about her experience in Normandy,
and the stories of a nurse during World War II,
were as inspirational as her vocation!
Oh, Marianna Grazia...
look down below and wave gracefully;
life is not as everlasting as that love given by you,
oh, Marianna Grazia!

Morning Berry

in the wet shamans garden
a budeful pass places the moist taste of a berry
worn in it's tougen bush lasting in the shade of dawns
a soft prick from a thorn dances through the poor mans hand
as the common growth withers there claim
the spout of a smiling flower spikes him dead
the mass of the horizon shows the play back of a cowards tale
muck the it's rising the fields perish
now the death has not passed it's bright
the shamans sing to his dead mans calling
with the suns heart shining and beating like a drum
the liking of his wounded parry
evegant breath drowns the man in vein

Binary Stars

In the slip stream of your soul
Maybe for only a few moments
But worth every second
Every class 5 rapids that we've had
To traverse
And came out alive at the end
The heavy current of love didn't
Drown us
Because love is
The cetripetal force that holds us
Around us
Binds us

Ever get that sinking felling?
The one you can't escape?
I'm walking down a lonely road.
A passenger of fate.

Every day is torcher.
A self-sustaining hell.
Every moment's a blind approach.
There's no one I can tell.

But my conscious still retains,
Thing's could be much worse.
Indecisive actions, perhaps...
Or lying in a hearse.

Still, my heart is yearning.
For whatever could have been.
I feel the dagger burrow in.
I'm bleeding with this pen.

I've said all I can say,
Now I'll just be on my way,
Down that lonely road again,
I'll walk forever, with no end.

Fading Star (Part Two)

Her eyes sparkled and a smile played on her lips,
She looked all around the room, held her coffee, took two sips.
‘The world is still a beautiful place’, were the first words that she spoke,
‘I haven’t been here for a thousand years.’ I thought it was a joke.

It was then that I really looked at her as the sun played with her hair,
I knew right then that I was alone and she wasn’t really there.
I was sitting with a ghost, who was worlds away from her time,
She sits here alone drinking coffee, just waiting for a sign.

So I raised my hat and bade her well and wished her on her way,
I left her some money and smiled and then I got up to walk away.
But I stopped and looked at her face to see if there was any pain,
I told her in the nicest way that I hoped that I would never see her again.

Your Card

I received an email today , from someone far away,
It came in the form of a card, and this what it had to say.
Theres only two days in a week that we should never worry about,
Yesterday you cant help or change, theres no doubt.

The other one is tomorrow ,it holds a mystery for everyone,
That is true in a lot of ways, except for just this one.
If you make promises to someone ,that you can be here,
Then go back on your word,It shows that you dont care.

If this only happens one or twice, it wouldent be hard to take,
But when it happens often, its hard for goodness sake.
You say your working on it , but nothing seems to change,
I know ill be here tomorrow, but you will be out of range.

I recall many times , i let it slip by,
But sooner or later ,i have to open my eyes.
When i see a repeat of things, that happens quite a lot,
I wonder where this friendship is going,to be sure i am not.

The Lord says in the bible , to turn the other cheek,
But how often must i do this, just to show im meek.
I hope some day things will change, no more bad days to come,
Then having a TRUE friend on line , will turn out to be fun.

Half is lowing as a mule: grave, grim and obstinate;
Like a syllogism burned by the life's light;

Warehouse 317

320 has a great bunch working there
They show a lot pride they really care
I personally don't consider any of this work, to me it's all fun
Sweat already pouring from the Warehouse heat and the morning sun
Daine and Nathaniel welcome to a great team
We cover one another on tasks in Warehouse 317
We have the mother of all mothers coming our way soon
Enough fun coming to make you wanna bark at the moon
I am looking forward to the thirty thousand guests
So let's wipe the sweat from our brows and make it look effortless
Monique is going to miss out on this great adventure, Zena is now the one caught in between
Local Purchase stop pulling your hair out, what a great place called Warehouse 317
There is Hezakiah handling the turn ins
He has to be careful and watch the NSN's
Glen handles the Turretts and parts to the shops
Without Wonda and Michael, the production stops
Gabrielle is the Goddess of the Hazmat
Shipping is now on cruise control with Doug there, but we all wear so many different hats
Jerry is the main director of this sometimes circus scene
Under our wonderful big top at Warehouse 317
A manager is only as good as her or his people allow them to be
I am thankful for all who I work with and my extended family
I love where I work and I am so happy to come there every day
All this fun and very good pay
DRMO is handled by Elsa and Fred
This is where all the useless parts are sent
The Carpenter Shop has Jason
That is where they do the packaging and craten'
Tom runs the show at Container Ops
David is in charge of the Turrett Shop
The mechanics have the vehicles coming in and going out at a tremendous rate
The Shop Clerks keep the ordering and parts requirements up to date
Vehicles to be shipped, Motor Pool is on the scene
But it all starts at my favorite place, Warehouse 317
I am sorry if I missed anyone such as Tammy at Safety, or Miss Lilly at PBO
Overall the operations are under the direction of Rick and Joe
The Front Office Personnel answer the phone
Without them, there would be nobody home
The shipboard stuff handled by Wholesale
Shop's parts handled by Retail
I personally want to thank everyone for all they do
This place could not do what it does without me or you
So I am not trying to be rude or mean
But I must end the saga now, come visit us at Warehouse 317

I Can't Explain Part 1

Why the warmth in your skin Brightens my world from dim I do not know why I do not know why for only you I'd die I can't explain the kisses from your lips I definitely can identify your familiar grasp around my hips I can't explain why you melt my heart I can't explain to you why it hurts when we're apart I can explain your sight and your seducing baby blue eyes I can't explain why you make me feel safe when you tower over me in size I can truly tell you why you qualify for my love But I can't explain to you why you were sent just for me from above I can feel your arms tight around me I can't explain why for you I trust to help me see I can't explain the butterflies fluttering deep inside And I can't explain why I am the one who can break your pride I can explain the feeling when you touch me I can't explain why only for you I choose to see I can't explain the deep palpitations inside every beat I can't explain why just for you, I chose to reserve a seat I can't explain the short breaths when I see your face But I can pinpoint exactly your lips and the sweet taste I can't explain why you want to be a dad But I also can't explain the random reasons why I get mad I can definitely explain to you the bleeding in my soul But I can't explain to you why my life has taken a toll I can't explain in words why I love you so much All I can say is, "I love you," and such and such I can't explain with all the money in the world why I love you so But here's a bold, "I LOVE YOU," on paper ~ so you know I can't explain to you how somehow I get lost in your eyes But I also can't explain why God randomly granted me this prize I can tell you that I love you ~ I can tell you that I care I can also tell you I need you ~ and I promise I'll be there...

Wait For Me

What we were just yesterday
And who we are today
Makes me wonder just a little
To you whom I might say
Thanks for being special.

But sometimes you aren’t so innocuous
For this is what scares me the most
I never know what you want of me
Or if we’re really close.
I hope I am someone disparate
But if I am not, please inform me now
For you, I can live without.

Michael, please all I ask
Is for you to be honest.
I don’t care for what we share
Is something not so chronic.
But if we try to be more tonic
Than this I know might work
If you trust me, as I do you
Than believe me when I lurk

I’ll be waiting for when we’re together
Your new home isn’t too far.
But when I get there,
I’ll pray you’re waiting
Pleasantly not looking for mar

But Michael, you’re the one I wait for
Through the next two years.
Please be there
For me, waiting
I want this to start afresh.

Beauty is not to fight about
nor to be kept by anyone person,s eyes
It,s seldem even seen.
True beauty is felt,
through the touch of warmth
when it,s cold.
Through being in one,s arms
and feeling totally safe.
Beauty is shared love. the
grip of ones lover squeezing
you to her when you release her
letting you know she wants you.
Beauty is letting her win when
winning is all that she needs
at that time.Beauty is the light
that shines when she smiles.
listening, caring and giving
her the attention she needs.
Beauty is her shyness, her
anger, her questioning look
after she climaxes
Beauty is being the beast to
keep her the queen.
mad, glad, sad
Beauty is building a foundation
on trust not lust.
Beauty is her, it,s me it,s us.
when my arms are around her
and she fits right in.
beauty is her hair, her skin
her womanly scent.
beauty is saying by this is it.
knowing it,s confused love running
you crazy, lazy to feel.
Beauty is her letting you back into
her life.
her sliding up to you soft, warm body,
hot. Beauty is feeling her control over you
and putting her to sleep in your arms
because of it.
For beauty is what you want.Beauty is her
history of survival. where she,s been.
where she,s going
Beauty is her stepping back and listening to her man
being for him when he knows she can,t trust, want trust
but can,t trust.
Beauty is watching her lose control and take control
over and over again winning in the end.
Beauty is your glance that makes me change all thoughts
Beauty is love, it,s respect, it,s honor and trust
it,s harmony.
Beauty is how i see you in the morning when you wakeup
Beauty is you. It,s the lust, the desire that burns
in my soul for you , and how i miss you when you leave
 love you.

Anthony's Poem

I look up to the stars and see your face smiling down at me,
I hear the wind rustle the leaves of a tree and it speaks your name.
So many memories and so many dreams, too much to love, too much fear,
Thinking about the good times and we wish you were here.
Our hearts will never mend fully but are merged in love and understanding,
If you reach out for us and we are not there, remember, our hearts are.
You touched so many people and made so many smile,
Remember you are only sleeping, we will see you again when the time is right.

Julie, after your passing
snow fell on Manhattan.

You were not there to share
flakes falling fast. silencing

the streets, slowing pedestrians
on perilous sidewalks, but I,

sister of my soul, I was

there for you in the city

I know this sounds absurd but I swear to you this is true,
I love to call your house and find the lack of energy tat used to define you.
To hear you say you're lounging instead of running up and down the stairs,
or matching up your knickknacks so they all produce pairs.
It's wonderful that you're sleepy and your vaccume's run just once a day,
how great that our conversations are not rushed we say all we want to say.
Yes to know you crave food more than extra time brings a smile to my face,
doesn't it feel wonderful to relax not participate in the race.
All this makes me happy for you as I can possibly be,
But also I feel gratitude for it makes the struggle easier for me.
To know some one else has the courage and the hope,
helps me greatly when I believe I have reached the end of my rope.
To know some one I love is struggling much the same as I,
helps me to stand tall and tell myself there is no need to get high.
So I thank you for your ambition and admire you for your strenghth,
and know I am beside you on this path regardless of the length.

No wonder human beings become

Not a place of crisis,

Drifting into oblivion
loosing all that's true
I'm delving in the darkness
But I cannot reach you

"No help for me," you say
As the light fades more from your eyes
"It's time to sink some more," say you
"It's myself whom I despise"

"Please don't go," I cry, I beg
Still grasping for your hand
Your aura's dull, your eyes are closed
Too far gone to understand

Promise me you'll fight!
Stop falling further down
Please don't go, my friend
I can't stand to see you drown.

Come on, don't give up now
So much left for you to do
And should you ever need me
I'm always there for you.

Beer Money, Wine Taste

If you could read my mind you'd know that I'd never talk
And if I could stretch a mile you'd know that I'd never walk
But I've got to get up to go to work to my nine to five
To keep the pace in this rat race I have to survive
But this minimum wage pay will never help me out Lord
So I need more cause I want more than I can afford

Cause all my friends are driving Benz's and wearing expensive clothes
With bigger houses and finer foods so this is my status in quo

I've got beer money, I've got wine taste
Can you see it in my eyes, its written on my face
Give me this, give me that and I don't want to wait
But I've got beer money, I've got wine taste
And uh~ beer money, and uh~ wine taste
Always make me wanna haste but that leads to waste
So I'm praying for some patience and little more grace
With my~ beer money and my~ wine taste (Chorus)

But my money and my patience's short, the line is long
And when things start looking right in life what's left is wrong
I need extra strength this and I need fast relief that
Someone call western union hurry cause I need some cash
To pay my debts and all my bills, I'm planning to buy a lot
Because I'm always wanting something that I just don't got

Cause all my friends are driving Benz's and wearing expensive clothes
With bigger houses and finer foods so this is my status in quo

I've got beer money, I've got wine taste
Can you see it in my eyes, its written on my face
Give me this, give me that and I don't want to wait
But I've got beer money, I've got wine taste
And uh~ beer money, and uh~ wine taste
Always make me wanna haste but that leads to waste
So I'm praying for some patience and little more grace
With my~ beer money and my~ wine taste (Chorus)

I need designer hats and jeans,
A limousine on the scene
To keep up with the Jones;
I need some precious stones.
I want to be in the spotlight
In restaurants day and night
With the means to these ends nonstop;
I wanna be filthy rich so I can shop.

Two Old Friends Together Again

The gentleman stood by the golden gates, patiently watching in wait.
He walked from side to side, all the while, looking out the golden gate.
Suddenly smile crosses his face, as he sees his old friend coming his way.
Seeing his friend, after all this time, meant more than he could even say.

They had been friends on earth, for years and years, through good time and bad,
And he was the first to admit, there was no better friend that could ever be had.
They have a mutual respect that is so rare in the world, as we know it today.
With each trusting the other with his life at the end of the most trying day.

And for as precious as this friendship was when formed on the earth, long ago,
These two old friends will never have to say good-bye again, this they now know.
Heaven is now the home that they will share now and forever a day.
With an eternity of time, to enjoy this friendship, come what may!

I Can Still Feel You

I saw you there
Then you were gone
A brief glimpse into my past
Reaching out for forgiveness
But it wasn’t mine to give
I saw you again
But not for long
The hands on the clock have long since stopped
And a light shines in the darkness
As dust dances into a stream of light
Playing softly with the wind
Then you slip quietly out of view.

The day begins slowly
Nothing ever stays the same
But nothing changes
Your shadow leaves before you
But comes back for a last look
Reaching into every corner
Glass rainbows appear from the window
Leaping in and out of view
Like oil in pools of water
Imploding in every direction
I want to reach out to you
But I know you have already gone.

I saw you once again
In a painting on a wall
It never really changes
Only fades away from view
Like fragments of your life
Torn to shreds and scattered
To the corners of the room
No-one to pick up the pieces
I hear the sound of laughter
Or is it the beginning of the day
I try to catch the wind
But it dances with someone new.

wize man

After giving his Pershing eyes
Walking in the shade of heaven's dream lights the mans spirit
He had freed himself from selfishness and unspeakable lust for his
In his bold even fold
he quietly spends his morning alone far-shed along side a blaze
The dawns word seek no end
I blindly hear the worlds forsaken melody
This unbeaten whisper has felt the true coming of the lord
he shared his kindness with all everywhere he has passed
With deeds opening his doors one bye one to the meaning of his life's
how proudly he sits with a forashing tongue
I silently whisper too his soft kindling horayed recursion
That slips away from his a life's bound
As i listen to this man i winsh my strenght to re coincide
my own
I have talk many times with this blind walking man
We have shared much fun inside we found joy and laughter
Many times we have shared understanding
We have stood for what is not yet be seen
Together we have surpassed the the suffering of our lives
Now and today its time to carry on
With my unspoken words i stagger alone
Through the empty in loneliness i thrive for the redargan of it's memory
To remind me of my aventing heart
It was a time spent in the most common of my sence
I was inter-sized by your pleased smileing prolongment
you were the greats man that i ever new
i have lived for the righteous stand that with rise the mornings fair and titled
soundless voice
when the evenings glow the darkness shows
conquering the mornings even flow
I clearly remember what u said before we parted my friend
for the stands mark ends the meaningless purpose

The Truth Inside

Outside she's beautiful to everyone
always polite, always the brave one
but inside nobody notices she's screaming
for help.
Outside she's lying, inside the girls
bathroom stall she is hiding
clutching the door closed as she starts
Outside she's smiling
all of her friends don't have any clues
that her long sleeved shirts cover up
the cuts and the bruises.
Outside she acts fine
like nothing is wrong
but inside she's dying
everything is wrong.

Outside her face shines
Inside she's fading fast
Outside she acts fine
Inside soon she won't last.
She's just denying
everything to everyone
She's just trying not to
mess up anyone's fun.

She deals with it herself
why bother someone else
this is her problem
nobody needs to know.
So outside she shows her friends
a familiar face, not like her inside
a wasteland of an emotional state
The cuts bleed through her sweater's
her depression acts up more and more
Finally she breaks down, her face gets red
but she just can't take it anymore.
she confesses everything that's going on
and everyone reacts with a shock on there face
something that's been happening to a girl
they knew
all this time, all this pain inside her place.

Outside her face shines
Inside she's fading fast
Outside she acts fine
Inside soon she won't last.
She's just denying
everything to everyone
She's just trying not to
mess up anyone's fun.

remain humane
don't judge the Lord

Darkness covered ever crevice,
When the angels of God betrayed the Lamb,
And the tongue of accuser, set us all down in the shame and guilt of self-
The sound of fury cursed our joy,
That we all bowed down and couldn’t stand,
And the pain of regret, set disease in all our arms and legs,
But there was one angel, an old black woman,
Who saw the light of day anyway,
And she took her cane and through it to the side,
And said, “Hey baby I’m a embrace this ride,”
No matter what, I’m a go to drive in movies,
And I’m a smile come what may,
And I’m a sing a song of roses, despite the darkest day,
And she began to flap her wings,
And the wind from her bosom spread across the cosmos,
And the world knew celebration.

Tiger Tiger

I met you once before,
But you were all on fire.
We passed on the Spanish stairs,
Couldn't you take me any higher?
Well who are you?
What do you want from me?
I'm not blind,
But I really can't see.
The one that I love has no vision,
But she can see.
She thinks I'm a clown,
She thinks, "He's no good to me".
Well, I floated for so long,
That I thought I was dead.
Now I know that something incredible
Is trapped inside my head.

I don't want any money,
And I don't need any fame.
I want to find out what I did
But do I want to do it again?

I've been to hell and
I've been to places much worse.
My name is now a burden,
My life must carry a curse.
Haunted by my unknown past,
But still I must go on.
Hunted by just about everyone,
So I'm always on the run.
Jaunting through time
And jaunting through space.
I've got to keep moving,
I can't stay in one place.
I'm only one step ahead
And they're closing in fast.
I'm getting very tired,
I don't know how long I can last.

My brain hurts a lot and
I know someone is close to me.
I don't know where to go,
I know they won't let me be.
The stairs were on fire,
As we passed with outstretched hands.
Trying to hold each other,
Pushing back the grains of sand.
We both knew that we were
Really different worlds, apart.
I only had to look at the burning man,
Didn't even know where to start.
Please let it out of my head,
The secret that could explode.
I don't want to end up blind,
Stranded on that road.

Where is that Spanish stair now?
And can I still reach it?
Do I see pain or is there
Pleasure beneath it?
The fire that burns Is out of control now.
I try to hide my face
From the flames in the Jar now.
But her face is a memory
And it is melting away.
I ask for her hand,
But I've nothing more to say.
She pulls it back and
A tear falls from her eye.
Her head falls as she motions to me,
Goodbye, goodbye.

I don't want any money,
And I don't need any fame.
I want to find out what I did
But do I want to do it again?

''Based on the book 'Tiger Tiger' by Alfred Bester.

A gentle wind blew off the sea...
It came to me....
Took me up high...
Passed sweeping clouds
What I can be...

It took a small moment....
To realize....
The things I can do
With a gentle wind...
From the sea....
Blue skies...
Sun bright...
Clouds of white...
Levitating too...

With a grey feather....
It came to me....
I can change what I want to be....
I can pass sweeping clouds of white
Find out who I am...
Not what I heard...
The wind can lull...
The wind can blow...
Perhaps I am a gull...
Only I ,will ever know...

Toe to Toe

Back in the day
people thought they knew
That i would give up so
easily but believe
That's not how i am
And if you got a comment i got more
than enough to say.

If you want a war
Step to the door with me
And if your man enough
Go toe to toe with me.
And if you want a war
On the floor you'll be
The only way you'll beat me
Is in your dreams.

Go ahead and push me
to the limit
Fight all you want you'll just
end up to regret it
It takes a true friend
to stab you in the front
But if you really want this
then i'll give you all i GOT.

If you want a war
Step to the door with me
And if your man enough
Go toe to toe with me.
And if you want a war
On the floor you'll be
The only way you'll beat me
Is in your dreams.

Open your mouth
insert your foot inside
You talk alot of trash for someone
who likes to hide
Can't even look someone right in the face
They all figured out your just a waste of
there time and space
And one day your gonna wake up and see
that everyone around you aren't your friends
but your enemies.

And if you want a war
Step to the door with me
And if your man enough
Go toe to toe with me
And if you want a war
On the floor you'll be
The only way you'll beat me
is in your dreams.
And if you want a war
Step through the doors with me
Are you man enough to face me?
And if you want a war
Maybe now you'll see
We were best friends now in my eyes
your dead to me.

St. Nicholas

There's a little bit of St. Nicholas in all of us…

Most of us will never ride on a flying sled
Led by nine reindeer, one with a "nose so red"
And most of us will never go all around the world
In just one night with gifts for every boy and girl

But we all want this time of year to be
A happy holiday for little ones to see

There's a little bit of St. Nicholas
In all of us each year
And it's all because we are Santa Claus
To all we hold so dear
So in the Spirit of Christmas love
Let us share this season's cheer
With everyone like a newborn Son
In the Nick of time this year (Chorus)

Most of us may never jingle bells dressed in red
For spare change so others can be sheltered, clothed and fed
And most of us may never visit the needy overseas
Or spend hours with our neighbors or the least of these

But let's give to those who ask and show charity
To the poor and lonely, and the young and old that be

Without necessities of life within longings of love
So they will believe in what they're dreaming of
And receive what they need and more than enough
So that they too can be a little like St. Nicholas

Bubba Spent the Night

Our son asked can a friend stay over
He just moved here from dover
The friend says tonight's Friday, usually we have pig's innards
He says my name is Cleetus Billy Joe Jim Bob Jones, after he stutters out his
name, it's time for dinner
But you can call me Bubba, he seems very polite
I pray no nightmares as Bubba spends the night
I tell him we are having Makerel Cakes and Mac and Cheese
He says I will take four cakes and two helpings if you please
Boy you sure do have an appetite
I tell my son our budget won't allow Bubba to ever again spend the night
Soon dinner is over and Bubba still wants to eat
I grab a funnel and melted bacon fat and tell him to have a seat
He says we eat fatback soup sometimes on a weekday
He tells me the doctor tells his whole family, that sometime their arteries will turn
to clay
bubba says I don't eat for calories, I eat for taste
I tell Bubba, if you keep eating like that you will become hazardous waste
He laughs and cheers in delight
This all happened when Cleetus Billy Joe Jim Bob Jones spent the night
At 2 am he asks for a snack
I give him a sleeve of Ritz crackers and a pound of Monterey Jack
I hand him a jar of Grey Puopon
He says after I eat this, there may be trouble in your john
He smiles and asks for a Diet Coke
I try to watch my health, I don't drink or smoke
Eight more hours, then our budget will be alright
He asks when is the next time I can spend the night

Lady Love

You're a shining star, an ever lasting light,
The fire in the forest burning wild and bright,
You're an angel flying high and free,
You're a beautiful spirit to whom only I can see,
Your mind is as deep as the ocean floor,
Full of life to which I adore,
I would love to swim deep within your mind,
And explore the secrets that I may find,
Your face holds the beauty of a rare black pearl,
You're a heavenly creature, one hell of a girl,
Your lips are as sweet as grapes on the vine,
Mellow to the taste, as an expensive wine,
Your heart is as a lock and bolt on a door,
To which I and only I have the key for,
So when you're down and lonely and need a close friend,
Just call on me and I shall let myself in,
You're a bird of paradise, a fish in the sea,
You're a dream within a dream, you're everything to me,
You're a Goddess floating in the heavens above,
You're my girl, my woman, My Lady Love.

lonely friends

I'm staring down a dirt road,
nothing for miles on either side of me.
I notice, I am alone.
Completly alone.
But alas I am not!
There is the wind,
gracefully dancing about keeping me entertained.
And the earth,
strong and sturdy, there to catch me should I fall.
Then there are all the creatures,
big and small, filled with more gossip than the trees,
always there to keep my mind at ease.
How could I forget when they were there all along.
They've always been there helping me,
when ever I need them.
Some people are just blind to those kinds of things I suppose.
To consumed in all their own loneliness to
remember whats just outside the door.
'Cause your never completly alone.

Can you feel
Should you know what is
I know
One day
The world can change
The heart can lie
The heart will lie
You should have seen the world thats in front of you
All you think is not for me
But we are both in this same head
Show me the way
my world has sorounded you
only my world will change if you let it not be the same

Tidings Within a Soul

A mirror once said:
" A scheme has been made
Upon the world that needs aid
Where a disease has been spread
And cure is so easy to get
Just by thinking deep into one's mind"

Researches quickly began
Since the letter was heard
But, the cure was never found...
Years passed and many forgot
About everything that was done

Oneday, a boy approached
The mirror that once spoke
Dust covered its face
And, with the boy's hand
Swept it away

Once again the mirror began to talk
" My boy," said the mirror
" The disease had been spread
Around the world as I've said
None found out what it is
But you, my boy, have the cure
For you have come back to me
Swept the dust away and made me free
If you realized, you have not forgotten
  The letter I've said before
You have come back and remembered
About me, a mirror, where I'm nothing compared to the rest."

Days passed and the boy discovered the disease
The disease that spread around is...
Forgetting About One...

You see, many wanted to know the cure once they heard
So,search had been made and giving up occurred
Then, the tale was forgotten and carelessness spread
As a result, the disease of forgetting reached upon
And the cure, ready to fight, was within everyone
Yet, it never took flight and soared into the air

Never forget what passed in life
For it is a disease resulting in losing someone
By simply forgetting the moments spent together
And the picture of you and them vanishes into eternity

The mirror was a simple example
About how many people turn their backs to others and...
Walk away, never looking back...

Me and this old truck,is hauling our last load.
Down this long and bumpy road.
It bounces me up and down as it sways from side to side.
Now me and this old truck is on our last ride.
I can remember my dad and I would work in the fields.
We work in the fields from early morn to setting sun.
We work and work until all the work was done.
My dad on his big red tractor, mowing grass, plowing fields, cutting hay.
Then me and my old truck would haul it all away.
I can remember when this old truck was brand new.
I was so full of pride. Now me and this old truck is on our last ride.
We were always seen together ,thru all kinds of weather.
Rain,sleet sun snow.
This old truck would take me where ever I wanted to go.
This old truck would purr like a kitten, run like a deer.
Never once did this old truck ever get us stuck.
Lord how I love and will miss this old truck.
Well we finally come to our journy end.
All there is left to say is good-by my old friend.

The Ballad of Crazy Joe

He’s stitching the truth within his tome
Pulling the needle with woe
His fertile mind shall serve as his home
Tethers too rigid to sew
All precious detail is rendered there
Memory puts on a show
Clarity finds him out of thin air
He nearly dons a halo

Don’t ever mock Crazy Joe

Maestros get lost during anxious times
Magic strands logic below
He tickles those keys caustic like limes
Never once asking for dough
Within his head he’s never alone
Concertos twisting his flow
Don’t interrupt when he’s in that zone
He lacks roots yet he will grow

No one can stop Crazy Joe

He offers up such unique cuisine
With flavors that overflow
Humus and beans will make you feel lean
Even if you’re feeling low
Don’t pluck your tongue when you get confused
Flax seeds are saying hello
There’s nary a spice that goes unused
Comfort still satisfies though

Don’t fail to thank Crazy Joe

Patience avoids his most ardent gaze
Everyone moves way too slow
He seeks order in random arrays
Gravity too great to throw
Crooked freeways will tug him away
Flying that line like a crow
Mincing his grasp while he goes astray
Where he hides I’ll never know

Crazy Joe, where do you go?

From a Hero's Eye's

I’m away from this world
I cannot follow your sheep
The mourning inside
These elements we prefer to keep

I’m away from your tears
Whispers sound away from my ears
Your smiles linger below my fears
The moments inside
They seem to blossom and hide

Hero’s do not smile
I’m no longer your wandering child
Your Guardian, I cannot be
Is there anyone who may cherish me?

Your piano may play
What useless lines this melody may say
I wish that I had flesh
I wish that when I fell
I bellowed out with purity from the chest

I’m away from this world
I’m away from your tears
Hero’s no longer smile
I cannot follow your sheep
I’m no longer your wandering child

Dear God Help Us Not See In Color

The world today has so much hatred
No virtues, nothing is held sacred
Everyone lives next to strangers, they never get to know
In apartments condos above or below
All of us bleed red, you are all my sisters and brothers
Dear God help us not see in color
When we see cultures, a lot of times
We tend to think only the bad in our minds
We can learn a lot from our children to accept people for who they are
Our racial tensions should be put away in a shatterproof jar
Predjudices should be buried in the ground, just like our ancestors next to one
We have got to stop seeing each other in color
Never mind the stranger on the bus sitting next to you
If that person suddenly collapsed, what would you do
If you take the time to say hello, get to know him or her
Life should not be lived in a cold uncaring blur
Love for our fellow humans should not be kept under cover
Let's all strip away the color

corporate cold waterfall

once again i need a swim (but these waters are too shallow) so i'll just lay inside
And the fishes swimming by, had to swallow all their pride. I think something in
them died as I just laid there inside.
Cos this breeze is getting cold and this sky is getting old. Quickly, shadows wed
and dine as the sun soon falls behind. (the time passes through the sift and
through my hand)
I was laughing oh so near... but my dear, you could not hear. You just turned to
her reflection and you marvelled at her mirrors. The curiosity in your awe seems
to be my greatest flaw. For no matter if I try, i simply cant stay in your eyes.
Was it the boy or just the man who had took me by the hand? Still I could not
understand where you were going...
Now how idly I wait, with broken glass and sandy crates; at the feet of all the
masses- lively maddened in their state.
Thanks for lines, and wasted time... for the tragedies in mind... and in the sea i
hope to find... the peaceful swim i had in mind.

Half A Rose

Here's half a rose
that now belongs to you.
The whole one is very special
because it now belongs to two.

Keep this rose with you
wherever you may go.
My prayers are always with you
and so are God's, you know.

The other half belongs to me,
it makes me think of you.
Think about what you wish for
and I'll pray that they come true.

This rose is very special,
use it wisely when you may.
Don't wish badly upon another
or the rose will wilter away.

Always know how much I care;
and I'm always with you inside.
And no matter what you choose
I'm only one step behind.

We laugh together.
We cry together.
We are happier together.
Our friendship means the world to me,
but is it going to last

Will we ever swing on our swing
sets or play in our
sand boxes again?
Will our childhood memories
still be remembered?

When we make the
big money and move
out of town, will we still
call each other every night?
Will we still be friends
for the rest of our lives
like we swore we would
be in the eighth grade?

Will we be eighty years old
sitting in our nursing
home laughing about all of
our "remember when's...?"

Will the promises and secrets
we made still be kept?
Will we wish we could
go back in time to
make our friendship
bigger and better?

Will we be

Eh,what's better than friendship...
the remorse wasn't ours to keep;
eh,what's better than friendship...
if don't have interest
for anything else,
at least let's keep the confidence
and exchange a word
whenever we 're in need
of that mutual hope...
don't take it too seriously!

Don't shatter another myth;
we can very well see each other
to retrace our past life
lived with incomplete wishes;
we can't pretend to feel sure,
and if we don't sense the bond
between these hearts...
nothing ever will!

Eh,what's better than friendship...
the remorse wasn't ours to keep;
you show self-anger and say,
"One learns more
 from one's mistakes
than from others's,!"
Remember what the cheated say,
"A wrong-doer tries
 to escape the offense,
so, refrain from the likewise,!"

Eh,what's better than friendship;
the,you easily tempted me;
now,you don't joke
in that funny way!
If something serious and lasting
can't re-unite us:
let's drop the hope,
before false feelings
strain us into lying...
and there'll be no reason for us
to find out what kind of evil
will lead us astray,
aside from the pleasure
of doing it quickly!

The Way You Stall And Cover

Why would you...
    Pull the plug
    Cut the chord
    Hang the harp
    [or] Bend the board
Sometimes it's best to just let things fall as they may

The wind is cutting life a knife through my fingers
I could have taken a hint just the same
But to take this as one is simply insane
I've only got a block or two 'til I get somewhere familiar

They call this part of downtown
The vampire's lair
Seeing as nothing even breathes until there's no sign of the sun

So I cross the street to my favorite spot
Find the darkest booth and begin to talk
To these blank pages
With words of ink
And like everything else, I let this rot and falter
Because sometimes it takes
More than a change

I make my way outside and head up the street
I can hear some friends I intended to meet
And we talked for what seemed like forever
About politics and people and whatever
And then we split our tab
And we split our paths
They head for the lot
And I begin to walk

Only two more hours until I sink into my bed
But don't forget me or the things I may have said
Because somewhere there's something that someone has summed up
And that somewhere is calling for you

As daytime runs out, I will feel
the absence of Lucille,
who's going with the leaves
blown away by the winter's breeze!

Loneliness bring me more tears,
because her distance already hurts,
and when the next evening comes...
it won't have a surprise!

The absence of Lucille is
one of my greatest and worst lossess;
her first dream was stronger than
the true love I gave her then!

As daytime runs out, I will feel
the absence of Lucille
who looks for security,
not for sincerity;
I believed she loved
me without pretention,
what has become of her honesty?
Pretty eyes and tender lips, how easily
I fell for your temptation;
beautiful Lucille,why couldn't you stay?

The Good One

To be thoughtful of your soul
Is only paralleled by your goal
You were brought here to be living
Enhancement of our world

We can give you the time, we try to get the cure
You can’t make it on your own
You have to have your band with you
That the part that makes it whole

Everyone tries to get ahead
Sometimes at all cost
There are some around that think that
These things can make us lost

It’s because of the good people in the world
That we can coexist
It’s because of the good thought of others
That we can write like this

The pure heart is the reason for today
The good one is how we get by on life
Don’t believe the hype that always puts you first
It not always because of you that you meet your worth

You are a part of the pure heart
You are the reason for the stars
Thank goodness for your constant Soul

It’s people like you that make our life
It’s worth living because you’re alive
Your benevolent spirit keeps up in this World

We have finally made it
Through this last year
Now we must face
Our deepest fear
On our own we must go
This wheel of life we must steer
Life is yet to come
It has finally just begun
Our lives now depend
On choices of thy own
Now one can’t afford
To sit around ad get stoned
We must make choices
That are very difficult
Yet the right one will reveal
Awards as a result
Your future is what
Only you make
Everyone makes
Colossal mistakes
Yet as y you grow older,
If you can believe in your ability
And not think the world is on your shoulders
You will lead
A life filled with joy
And rewards, yet this only happens
When one is employed
You choices from today,
And onward into the years
Will undoubtedly reveal
How your life will be
Just so long as you don’t
Piss it away, and you just wait and see
For you’re the one
Who may change the world
Just lead a straight line
Don’t follow your horde
Prevail you may
Yet if you shall fail
Pull yourself back up,, for that job you dream of
Is not unreachable
You shall find, after you get that job
That your check has always
Been in the mail

His Precious Bounty Shines Through

In a harborless sea I was sailing, being tossed too and fro by despair,
sinking deeper beneath an unlighted wave of woe;
surfaced by faith alone.

In a foggy haze I once wandered, trying to please while dismayed I was,
no good in me only Grace you see;
given from the one who set me free.

In a canyon of darkness I dwelt, being led by an unseen hand,
firm is the grip that will not let me go;
loving and strength is the One who gave.

In a valley of dust I tried and failed, accompanied by a presence so devine,
standing by me is my rest and only hope;
eternity is just beyond the rise ahead.

In a joy encompassed embrace, forever I will remain,
 no fears shall alram me,
drawn nearer unto my harbor; my God!

White space. Where am I now?
No place. I'm awake somehow?
Know sounds, in the air around.
So I'll walk... On know ground.

"... 155..."
~Am I alive? I hear later on.
"... I gave you a song..."
~So, I walked. My middle is Long.
~Did I speak to you Snake?

White space. Where am I now?
No place. I'm awake somehow?
Know sounds, in the air around.
So I walked. Onto know ground.

Hey. You. Olld man there...
Where'd you come from?
"...speak your question, little one."
Do I dare? Was I here...?

He was content to take his Time.
I stood there, silencing my mind.

Then.Motion. Out of no motion,
His hand came round, from around,
left side, and through his dark eyes,
White.Paper flies....

And stunned was I, step back to dye.
No, lept! I cried! His eyes! I wept!
Steadfast. Straight past, fixed,
to the sun was I, in the midnight
glide while the stars fell by...
And in the light... his white,
Paper.Butterflies from the skies.

Then silence.
I turn again.
So still til then. This old man.
He changed my Time.
He played the knic nac,
with the pretty kitty cat,
he played the switch.back,
with my mind...
"... I'm the Monk..." he said,
" and you're the bow tie, This Time.Love"

To assume, the Lady would have given her ear to a snake again....
was too, simply assumed. ~We need two ears to fly with.Dragon~Sang.The Lion.
We learn first, the right time.
We painted it fuzzy, to reMind...

"And we ;pLay, all day Long..."

the old oak

Verse 1
There’s a house on a hill with an old oak at the side
There’s a bridge down the way crossing a river that’s wide
And the green hills roll forever, it’s a beautiful sight
With a backdrop of mountains their tips covered white

Verse 2
There’s a house on a hill with an old oak at the side
Where I carved out our names with a small pocket knife
And the letters we etched in a timeless old tree
Say that I’ll always love you long past eternity

I’ll soon be with you angel, this body grows tired
I’ll soon be with you angel for soon I’ll expire
I’ll soon be with you angel never then will we part
I’ll soon be with you angel be still my beating heart

Verse 3
There’s a house on a hill with an old oak at the side
And a single headstone marks the place where you lie
A chair by the side of your last resting place
Which I sit in for hours and just stare into space

Verse 4
There’s a house on a hill with an old oak at the side
Tended by a lost soul who hasn’t much time
It won’t be long now and we’ll be one again
There’s been so much pain since I lost you my friend

I’ll soon be with you angel, this body grows tired
I’ll soon be with you angel for soon I’ll expire
I’ll soon be with you angel never then will we part
I’ll soon be with you angel be still my beating heart

Her beauty umatched
Her slpender I surrender
She is Genuine and of True Heart

In her eyes
She speaks
In her smile

My heart is Stolen

In the Quiteness

Our hearts speak a pounding YES.

mind you see with your heart not your eyes or mind how profound
you are different with the Raven so many but know one see its
true beauty, wishes at the wishing well, a raven drop a penny

Spinster's List

this very troubled old maid
so beaten down by life
wanted nothing so but not to fade
without being someone's wife

but until that time came about,
she had no choice but to carry on
and when she needed bad some groceries
to me she depended on, and hence you have this yarn...

just give me Spinster's list
and money to pay for it all
I run down to the supermarket,
I mean, this is what she needed, this is why the call...

I'm no big fan of big food shopping,
it's really too much a bore,
I'd far rather go bar hopping,
than spend hours in the store

but she needed me to help
I could never turn her down
she really was a nice lady,
I couldn't bear to see her frown

so off I go in search,
of the food she so much needed,
and back again an hour or two later
it could of been much longer,
but I had really speeded

someday, I sort'a wonder...
will someone shop for me?
If so, one thing will be different...
I'll, for him, how it felt to be.

Guess you can say
I’ll be there today
Yes I’ll be there today

I’ve been
The same blue moon
So much
Time decayed this day
I’d rush you
But tomorrows
Going to come too soon

The touch of my quill
Has found it’s dry
For you and I
Seem to have fallen
Over into life

I guess you can say
I’ll be there today

It’s been merely
21 years
And I can’t seem
To get over the wrong
I guess this song
Is bringing me home

It’s been quite tough today
She brushed here eyes against mine
She said
They still bitter my touch
Startled I
Lost my thoughts in a way

Guess you can say
I’ll be here today

I see you seem happily today
I guess you couldn’t find yourself
I see you hid your voice softly today
I assume you seek only those who left
Your side this day

Clouds puffed all over the sky
Stars glimmer with a beautiful glow
But, something is up there and unknown
                                         Wait a second....It's....... a fish
swimming next to the birds flying high
                                             But...How could that happen?!

Friends here and there as they always pass by
Where tales are being told everyday
Rumors spread now and then
Yet gossips may shock some from within
                                          But again...How could that happen?!

Today, the unexpected took place
Eyes bulged out due to more than shock
In fact, it was the unbelievable clock
Ticking beside the ear's soft surface

But again and again...How could that happen?!

Unconsciously, a friend crystallizes who she is
The way she acts, her character and personality with a tock
Suddenly, shock might be displayed as a huge bee flock
Losing the strong friendship that once marked as a scar....

This friend is a friend of mine in which I though she was indeed a true friend
A mate always there to talk to
Ready to have some fun too
Yet, she popped out of her shell, showing me what she truly beholds

I can't mention and accept what she has done
Yet, she was a lesson
She was a fable that was told
To kids with kites prepared to fold

So sad you might say
How friendship can fall apart
How it can be destroyed with words simply said
But, a person's mask has to be revealed to make sure it is..... to trust someone and become true friends.....

I am not upset,
I am not sad,
I am not mad,

                                The unexpected took place.........

Disappearing Act

This is a story about a boy so bold
A story around campfires; a hero I suppose
When people talk about him, some say he knows
The truth of his story still yet to be told

A strong young lad without a fear in his head
Some loved him to pieces others wanted him dead
A true dreamer someone might have once said
A noble character who hurt his friends

An unhappy child with an unhappy mother
Everyone says it, even his brother
So many talents not quite like any other
Lost in a world of hate looking for a lover

A star was born one November's eve
Destined for fame that he could not see
Jealousy is contagious between you and me,
they knew where he was headed; he had tricks up his sleeve

And this strong young man was without a clue,
He couldn't say a word; there was nothing he could do
No-where to run, it's either me or it's you,
His chances off conquering were really quite few

And in his head confused with such turmoil
Such twisted plans began to boil
If it were true, he was to be put in the soil
He had a plan that no one could foil

Some say he was paranoid, but he possessed a gift
One final test; he passed if he lived.
They said they would find him for they were quite miffed,
I'm on his side for no one has seen him since

That's just what happens when you're the talk of the town.
Some smile to your face, inside wanting to frown,
It's not his fault he fell into the wrong crowd....
If I ever see him again, I'm gonna help him out!

If only he would have said something, to you or me
He could have changed my mind and made me believe
I hope he's okay; a sigh of relief...
With all those tricks, just remember he's got two sleeves!

When your Down!

When your down and no one is around.
Just bow your head and pray.
His is always there & listen to you.
So Raise you head & sing.

When I'm sad you make me happy
When I'm lonely you send me a friend
When I'm down & out, you pick me up
Yes, I know I have you as my friend.

When you feel you can't take anymore, you make things work out.
When life gets complicated, you bring me ease.
When your friends up & leave you for no apparent reason, you always provide
            me with someone new

When I'm sad you make me happy
When I'm lonely you send me a friend
When I'm down & out, you pick me up
Yes, I know I have you as my friend.

Your a Father of Love, Joy, Happiness, & Peace
Without you we would all just cease.

When I am down, I feel your love
Yes, I know I have you as My friend!

I Believe in you

Whatever you may dream
I'll believe in you
Whatever goal you wish to reach
I'll help you see it through

I'll believe in you
When no one else could care
I'll stick by your side
When life seems unfair

Together we can accomplish
Whatever it may be
We'll go hand in hand
You can always count on me

We can watch a sunset
In the early morning light
Or gaze at the stars
On a cold and lonely night

In your eyes when life stands still
I'll believe in you
When words cannot be spoken
I'll show you what to do

Forever is hard to imagine
The future may seem far away
But I'll believe in you
Until my dying day

yours truly

Remembering the days
when I was loved by friends
while memories are vividly seen,
as if they are woven into reality...

Living in the past, like a dreamer,
won't change a thing;
In spite of distance,
I still find delight
in their joyous faces;
deep wrinkle and gray hair
are the enemies I can't fight!
I'm getting older by the day,
as an awareness
and earnest warning
not to dispose of this age,
but to learn daily from it!

Trustworthy and reliable friends,
I would like to possess
your strenght to cope
with an unspeakable tragedy,
a loss or a doleful defeat;
are you like me: twisted by dissent,
judged and treated unfairly
or completely misunderstood?
One can't be too demure or innocent
to let those facts control your destiny;
if confidence and self-descipline
aren't instilled within the adolescent years,
hurt,rejection and impelling sorrow:
lift up hurdles you can't bring down
with the speed and force of an arrow!

Remembering the days
we conquered life's joys
with the zest of warriors;
remembering the days
when the enthusiasm
made us high-spirited
and indulge in pleausures
that cannot be described...
to go beyond the unforbidden limits,
to know what laid ahead of us...
raptured by an ingenous realism!

Admired and missed friends,
it should be joyful to remember you all,
good friends always offer solace...
when words seem not to flow
and thoughts are locked up in deep silence;
here,with lively and subliminal visions,
I cross the void between
absence and distance...
to be a part of you again!

Brought Alive

Brought Alive
Brought Alive by your beauty
To love you...My Duty
It is Just You and I
Your love you Supply

The walk down Chestnut Street
Makes me Feel Complete
Through the Campus our walk
As it goes from block to block

Hand in hand
Arm in Arm
In the Moment With You
You with me

These are the things memories are made of
These are the things memories are made of

Showdown At the Pizzeria...

Yet another of Tom's True Tales...and not even exaggerated!!

A while back, I guess I was 17 or 18,
And leader of the "Gors",
My friend Barry Bernstein and I
went on a double date,
Little realizing, what would be our fate...

Now Barry's tag was "Noodles the Shiv"
His propensity to wield his gravity knife,
I was a bit more low-keyed, but to
anger me was to invite strife

Now the mother of one of the girls
had dropped us off at the movie,
When the show was over,
and we were feeling groovy,
We stopped at the pizzeria
next door,
Sat at a table and it took no more,
For five greaser's at a table near,
To start making comments
that we could hear...
My hair was a bit long,
but my temper short,
They asked if I was an Indian,
which I doubt they thought,
They laughed at us, it was so sad,
Until somehow I got so mad...

I took off my garrison belt,
It's edges sharpened like razors,
Wrapped it around my hand,
My eyes showing crazes,
I went over to their table,
and challenged them,

"Come on, you faggots!!
You wanna fight?!?!
I'll take you all on, as is my right...

They grew quiet now,
their eyes showed fear,
Thinking I was a madman,
Well, yes, that was clear...

No fear I felt, only rage,
And really hoped,
to challenge me to engage,
But their blood was drained
from their faces,
This guy's insane!!!...
Let's get outta' here,
In speedy paces...

So they left, and I
returned to my seat,
and then our pizza, we did eat

Ten minutes later,
with the mother on her way,
We walked out,
and I gotta say....

Now there were 12 or more,
with bats, chains, and more
Out for our blood, cause
ya can't ignore...
A failed face-down,
such loss of face,
Might as well pack up,
a disgrace to your race.....

The mother's station wagon,
it did approach,
I told Barry to walk slow,
So they knew at most,
They'd be in a fight,
might cost them dear.....
Hurry up, Mom,
they're gettin near...
They still hesitated,
such fear I'd struck,
They weren't about
to push their shakey luck...

Up rolled the car, and we got in,
The mother oblivious
to the great din,
As she started to pull away,
trash cans started,
to fly our way.....

"What's with these kids?"
she wondered aloud,
Not realizing how close,
We'd evaded their crowd...

If he turned away from you,
what are you going to do;
you promised yourself to be his only,
but your closed eyes dreamed for too long
before they opened up to face reality...
in a way that could only bring the saddest word!

What will ever happened to that dream
you helped him build: hope by hope,
joy by joy and tear by tear... believing
it all would be soon realized and nothing
could ever go wrong,because it looked so perfect;
isn't it the most horrible awakening?

If he turned away from you,
what are you goind to do;
will he ever forget your beautiful face
with those pretty eyes unafraid of darkness...
honest eyes that never lied,
but faithfully loved and cried!

Spring or summer
fall or winter...
there's was no favorite season,
because love found ,by luck,
the right heart to grow into...
the most lovable heart
to start a passion a woman
could never undo!

If he ever turned away from you,
what are you going to do;
will you stop loving him
as you always did,
walk away like he never was yours,
meant anything or even existed!?
Will you throw away all his pictures
and look for someone you can love?

I Want to Cry

It's been another rainy day
Since I left that special place
There are you- here am I-
It's been another starless night
Since I took that lonesome flight
There are you- here am I-
And I want to cry-

Will the sun come out today?
Or will it still just hide away?
Cause there are you- here am I-
And will the moon shine tonight?
Or will the clouds put up a fight?
Cause there are you- here am I-
 And I want to cry-

I want to cry, but how can I let my feelings show -
How will you ever know~ when you are there and I am here?
I want to cry, but how can I share my tears with you -
How will you feel it's true~ when you are there and I am here?
When I am here-?

Can the clouds and lights above
Express the longing of my love?
Cause there are you- here am I-
And can all nature mourn the fate
Of two souls who separate?
Cause there are you- here am I-
And I want to cry-

It's been another rainy day
Since I left that special place
There are you- here am I-
It's been another starless night
Since I took that lonesome flight
There are you- here am I-
And I want to cry-

On leaving Meiningen, Germany
A song for Kirsten Amthor

If and when times of desperation
become the daily,intolerant strife
for so many who have given up their fight
and their reality is threatened by alienation;
then,by all means, come to their rescue
by being a messanger of truth...

Show your compassion
and good intentions toward anyone;
strangers laugh and just look away...
as if they don't have an ounce of pity!
Don't be like them
who think of themselves,
but put others first;
be happy to be the last,
show your compassion,
because nobody should be turned away!

If and when times of delight
are in favor of those needing light,
be glad for them and share their laughters,
because they've waited for that moment
when the skies would open up...
to shower them with blessings!

Show your compassion,
instead of indifference and hostility;
they need your strong hands to
lift them out of the abyss they had fallen into;
and it wll take an extraordinary faith
to accomplish that in any given situation;
begin with one simple step...
to challenge anyone's credibility!
Show your compassion,
with the truest intention...

An attractive woman like you
gets the attention of all men under thirty;
Denise,I don't expect you
to dress like a convent nun...
There are other ways to look sexy;
beside the latest fashion clothes
and glamorous,irresistible looks...
Denise,youcan still have fun!

Many are the dangers outhere,
some of the guys will hurt you with lies...
not this guy you refuse to talk to!
A sudden,unwise decision
will influence your attitude,
then your freedom will shred
into a thousand pieces
and disappear into thin air!
It's time you used some wisdom
and showed some consideration!

Denise, put all your trust in me...
I've dated girls who had gotten
in unpleasant situations,
because of their silly intentions;
don't be like them,Denise...
turn around and listen to me,
and you won't be entrapped again!

Oh,Denise...beautiful Denise,
I kissed you first in the April moonlight;
and I hate see another hold you in that light!
Oh,Denise...beautiful Denise,
our dream can't crumble before our very eyes;
give it a new that it can shine like stars!

Death's Inspire

as I sit bye the fire
I am intrigued bye death's inspire
Skeleton's move in organinized fashion
Filling the room with quarrled passion
Will join us now that u are the newborn
Do u reconize your own reflection
Do u see your skin complextion
For u were stillborn
Raged from your ricies in a dire form of mislead conduct
Your kingdom once filled with flourishing material product
A striken life was promised with the vison of the world to come
Here u will bw washed in no blame
can u even remember your own name
u only lack this in my house
Mingle around and do try to find yourself a spouse
My attention drawn towards these sympathetic words
I am disturbed bye this walls are misshaped and deranged
Captured souls in dysfunction while there bones are interchanged
The halls are filled with a shamful air full of evil deeds
I stand here out if existence and hormone
