The soldier boy was sitting calmly underneath that tree,
As I approached it, I could see him beckoning to me.
The battle had been long and hard and lasted through the night
And scored of figured on the ground lay still by mornings light.
"I wonder if you'd help me, sir", he smiled as best he could.
"A sip of water on this morn would surely do me good.
We fought all day and fought all night with scarcely any rest-
A sip of water for I have a small pain in my chest."
As I looked at him, I could see the large stain on his shirt
All reddish-brown from his warm blood mixed with dirt.
"Not much", he said."I count myself more lucky that the rest
They're all gone while I just have a small pain in my chest."
"Must be fatigue", he weakly smiled. "I must be getting old.
I see the sun is shinning bright and yet I'm feeling cold.
We climbed the hill two-hundred strong, but as we cleared the crest,
The night exploded and I felt this small pain in my chest."
I looked around to get some aid-the only things I found
Were big, deep craters in the earth-bodies on the ground.
"I kept on firing at them sir. I tried to do my best,
But finally I sat down with this small pain in my chest."
"What would my wife be thinking of her man so strong and grown,
If she could see me sitting here, too weak to stand alone?
Could my mother have imagined, as she held me to her breast,
That I'd be sitting here one day with this pain in my chest?"
"Can it be getting dark so soon?" He winced up at the sun.
"Its growing dim and I thought that the day had just begun.
I think, before I travel on, I'll get a bit of rest.....
And, quietly, the boy died from that small pain in his chest.
I don't recall what happened then. I think I must have cried
I put my arms around him and pulled him to my side
And, as I held him to me, I could feel our wounds were pressed
The large one in my heart against the small one in his chest.

The Earth dry and bare; waiting eagerly for the drops of care;
Caught in the hot, steaming summer’s snare;
The flowers and creepers decorating window sills; all look desolate and ill;
As the nature withers away in the sun’s merciless glare.
The men and the wives; the kids and the wild;
All are enduring the summer’s waterless exile;
They are waiting for the rain; to relieve them of the heat pain;
And of that life which has become a sweaty turmoil.
The wind strong and gusty; makes the roads yellow and dusty;
And the air around becomes suffocating and musty;
The birds forget to sing; their lilting, musical thing;
Even as the tree leaves wristle and make noise so husky.
Then come the Monsoon showers; falling first on boughs and flowers;
Making the trees and plants glisten and glower;
So the monsoon comes in grace; driving away summer’s trace;
Lashing at window-panes with its all-reigning power.
As the monsoon drives away the summer heat; with its raining rhythm off-beat;
And the flower buds open up to return it’s greet;
And as the water seeps in soil; a refreshing fragrance arise;
While the rain continuous to cool down hot gardens and streets.
The Earth grows green; and water droplets gleam;
On the smooth, waxy surfaces of the leaves;
Everywhere the flowers grow; in pink, red, white or yellow;
While buds make their way blushingly between tendrils.
The wet and soft soil; now grows fertile;
And tender green plantlets push through the Earth in style;
Through soil the tiny saplings peep; as their sown seeds begin to reap;
And the plants and crops shake off the Earth’s temporary curse sterile.
As the raindrops go pitter-patter; water in puddles begins to gather;
And the little birds begin to chirp, twitter and chatter;
The insects begin to hum along; their irritating and happy song;
While due to rain and wind the roofs on houses begin to chatter.
As the showers for some moments cease; after giving Earth life’s new lease;
And the pitter-patter of rain is gently appeased;
The sun coyly shines; a cloud it half hides behind;
While the fluffy clouds move along with the cool breeze.
The fields now green and bright; are an artist’s sheer delight;
Pleasing to the senses of smell and sight;
The fresh air so sweet to breathe; that with pleasure the body writhes;
In the newly born rainy sunlight.
But this sunlight so quickly goes; as thunderstorms blow to and fro;
And Earth engulfs in darkness that now grows;
The wind rises and howls; with a voice that trembles all souls;
And day and night this gale roars.
The trees in fear tremble and shake; as leaves, twigs and branches break;
And the life of these trees is put up at stake;
Birds in nests cower with fright; and due to cold shiver with all their might;
And live in fearful anticipation of what else the storm may rake.
The monsoon now shows its ugly face; gone are its days of grace;
Rainy calamities take its place;
Cyclones and floods destruct worldwide; the raging sea throws up its tide;
“Nature reigns supreme”, we are forced to say.
Same is the life of man; may he do what he can;
But destiny will always play a hand;
What all will man control? So he should let destiny play its role;
And enjoy life and act as the situation will demand.
Somedays will shine the sun; those days life will be fun;
And work will be successful how much ever it’s done;
Somedays by the fun you will tire; and will long to get back into the attire;
Of normal life, however boring or glum.
Sometimes hope will come out; like a tiny plant sprouts;
And will remove from your mind every shade of doubt;
It will be a bright, hopeful ray; but for long it may not stay;
So we must make most of it when hope sprouts.
Just as the shower of joy; after summer comes out shy;
So shower of success will come when you have almost given up the try;
It will wash away your helpless sigh; and will give you a new will to try;
Which will help you succeed by-and-by.
Just as the sun goes behind the cloud; when thunder is heard aloud;
And darkness suddenly falls on Earth all around;
So also failure will touch you once; its upto you to prevent its repeated occurrence;
Or due to failure remain depression bound.
Sometimes through demotivation you will go; sometimes loads of success you'll know;
For we need all types of experience to make us grow;
Like some days it is wet; some days the sun for long doesn’t set;
But then it needs both the rain and the sun to make a RAINBOW…

A river of life is what I seek
Because you alone satisfy my thirst
Clean me with the waters of your forgiveness
Douse me in the pool of your wonder
Every morning, your dew sits on my heart
Flow into the seams of my soul
Gush from me, the fountains of your peace
Hold me, as the ocean holds the ship
I need a deluge of your compassion
Just as the trees need the downpour
Kindness trickles from your hands
Lead me beside the still waters of your love
Make me float in a sea of your grace
Never to sink under the weight of the law
Open the dams that hold back your stream of blessings
Pour your gentleness over my head
Quietly fill me with the rain of your mercy
Rush upon me so that I am swept away with your favor
Saturate me with your Holy Spirit
Tears of joy drop from my eyes
Upward I dive, into your care.

(Argument for the Biblical Account of Creation.)
I don't see why some people try,
without reason, to reach a conclusion.
They must haveconceived an end to be achieved,
through pre-supposition already chosen.
They accentuate the positive, ignore the negative,
and, apparently, find comfort in illusion;
to prove a connection they've already reckoned
will fit their pre-supposed delusion.
Yet, steadfast is truth, we find from our youth,
in solving the age old mysteries;
by following the evidence through reasoned inquest
of science, and accurate histories.
True science has shown aging to be known
affected by the rays of the sun.
Bible history attests longevity was best
Before Noah's Ark made its run.
We see man's age decline right in line
with the canopy deluge postulation.
Now, we can't see how fitting this must be
from the onset of creation.
The Bible also lists, a pre-flood morning mist
rising to water the earth each day..
Would this not lead to the conclusion indeed
of a water vapor canopy in play?
Then, the canopy fell as rain, quite well,
all the habitable land to cover:
"the deep" broke up making the oceans a cup;
can we logically conclude any other?
Urchins of the sea have been found to be
upon the highest of mountains.
Wouldn't this tend to show proof of a flood flow,
and its ebb into the fountains?
Don't ever pre-suppose a rose, a rose,
if it looks some what a carnation.
If you do, I must firmly assure you,
You will earn reason's indignation.
Reason can surely be a help for you and me,
if not corrupted by pre-supposition.
Think it all through, ignoring the Bible won't do
You'll be found in an untenable condition.

Walking on a sandy beach
I go and hear the water preach
The water crashes
The sun rise with a pink and purple that clash
That clash that doesn’t turn into ash
The ripples in the sky they fly so high
Laying on the beach the sand
As smooth as a peach
That’s knows you’re on a beach

I'm wading in the water --
World at my fingertips.
The sun drying out my hair,
Water rolling off my lips.
The world would be like so --
If it were without flaw.
The truth, that's covered from your eyes
Is not like this at all.
I'm sinking down into the depths --
The darkness of unknown.
I cannot help but to feel
Confined, so lost, alone.
My head goes under as I sink --
I cannot see my way.
Underneath the water I cannot tell,
Is it night or day?
I reach my hand up to the light --
Where black turns into blue.
I search for help, but I find
You ignore my call to you.
I see a dock and I can grab --
A tiny piece of wood.
But as I pull myself to Earth,
It breaks, it does no good.
I'm drowning in the ocean --
And all I see is you.
The way you seem to smile at me,
I must look good in blue.

Formed by drops of water,
widens and deepens as I rubs and scours,
eating and borings my way through the landscape,
meandering with hardly any visible movement,
flow freely, coursing my way through the mountains
and ploughing a valley of my own.
I cut runs over rocks, no forcing and no holding back
wind through the landscapes like strips of matte and glossy ribbon
plunged down in a long waterfall,
plash into several rocky pools on my way to the sea,
create a place to sit and think of romance and the beauty of nature
follow me and you will find the sea.

America, the abundant, the place I was born
I'll cherish till the day I die.
Where the bones of past heroes lie buried in the ground
Who loved her the same as I.
Her mountains are so tall they reach for the sky;
With prairies where the green grasses grow.
There's billions of trees where wild birds nest
With creatures that flourish below.
That blue gold called water with which we are blessed
As raindrops or crystallized snow;
Changes to rivers and fresh water lakes
While the winds of our seasons blow.
There's the haunt of a whistle from a lonely freight train
Racing on ribbons of steel
With the harvest of farms and from the factories
Balanced in a box on a wheel.
Some cities have buildings a hundred stories tall,
Structures of concrete, glass and steel.
A statue in a harbor, a present from France,
Describes how, inside, we feel.
That flag on the moon with red and white stripes
Proves America’s dreams come true.
A country of heroes who line up to protect
The past, the present and the few.
We’ll defeat terrorism as it should be fought
Never letting Satan’s horde chase us to our door.
Safeguarding our borders and system of life
As our forefathers sacrificed before.
Never be afraid to be proud of America
And march with the brave, faithful and just.
Refusing to submit to the will of our enemies
Standing firm to preserve what we trust.

Threw thick and thin
Threw right and wrong
Threw the rain and the storm
Threw the years
You held me down
You always have my back
You lend your ear’s to listen
The voice of good advice
The arm’s that in brace
When time’s are hard in need of a hug
You come with open arm’s
With sisterly love
We hold our ground
No greater bond but that of love
No tow a like one soft spoken
The other out spoken
Together bonded by blood
Yet near our far we always
Have each others interests at heart
When one tends to fall
Is good to know you have someone
You can trust to pick you up
And I have that with my sister
For blood is thicker then water
Hand in hand we swim
Till we reach the top

I'm tired of people that are healthy
Even fat people can be stealthy
You mays well just get outta town
If you don't, I might kill you, make you drown
If only I could put on a pair of thongs
I would go to golden corral and pick up food with the tongs
Not my hand
If I go out to eat and they offer me a water
I might go crazy and start to slaughter
Don't ever offer me anything free and charge me for it
You can only do that if i'm wearing my favorite outfit
Everyone's starting to tick me off
Just leave me alone I want to go play golf
It's so intense
Just so you know though
Water makes me sick
So if you offer, you might get your butt kicked
I'm a big guy that enjoys pop
so please no more water, just stop

The symphony sounds like trumpets to the dead.
as sounds of the trigger ring thunder in my head.
you came with the message , now lay in your bed.
This time is to you, just like i had said.
The tell of two people
a ring around the rose.
the death of this lady, with blood in her nose.
Her blouse was torn ragged, she smelt like a rose.
the man in the darkness, you know how this goes.
father i pray.
don't lead me astray
get to your knees, tis god who you see.
I seen no Ms Annie, please let me free.
The death will come swiftly, but sting like a bee.
look at the water, forget about me
I knew it was coming, the like the venom of a bite
I tried to fight momma. I seen no more light.
I ask him why mista, he say this is right.
Now you see glory. The thunder in my head..
Father i love you, but really can't stay
It is here you shall serve me and on from this day.
I am not finished, I want to make peace.
There is no withstanding the mark of the beast.
for he will roam free.
For in time he'll see me.
So the birds, they be feasting on his flesh, you will see
for hell it will be.
has taught him you see.
The same the took you my son, had took me.

Lord thank you for showing me your face
Even though I don’t deserve it
But that’s why it’s called grace
You are everything, you are powerful and mighty
I can’t take your grace and mercy lightly
You are everything that I am, you are my all
Even thought I’m filled with sin that causes me to fall
You didn’t deserve, you sent your son for me
For all of my sin, you sent your son to die on a tree
Why did you do this? Why did you come down from above?
It’s about a four letter word, its because of your LOVE
But this love, why do I deserve it?
My sin has thrown me into a bottomless pit
But even though I’m broken you love me still
I am empty but your love was meant to fill
Some glasses may be half-empty but mine is completely filled
Because this isn’t normal water that can be spilled
I have living water and it quenches my thirst
All I have to do is accept your love first
I’m gonna take it, I want all you can give
So I’m gonna praise you for as long as I live

Rivers have a one-track mind, on this we can agree
The reason for they're being is to seek and find the sea.
When they are born on mountains high not knowing why they start
Though locked in ice held in a grip which cannot still their heart.
A variance in the seasons causes them to melt not fret
Break free; commence at last to pay nature’s final debt.
With temperatures sometimes fickle so begins this epic trickle.
A sudden gush will start the rush to seek and find the sea.
From countless streams and valleys over marshes, grasses, bogs
Spit polishing huge boulders, carving landscape as it jogs.
One-mindedness driven by gravity no matter what it takes
Searches for the lowlands to pool and form great lakes.
At last the puddles grown so big it has to finally spill
To the lowest point it rushes once more to run downhill.
Still water, rapids, waterfalls are formed along the way
Liquid gold as sustenance for hunter and for prey.
Still driven by that one desire to seek and find the sea.
Finally over sand and shingle seaward bound to mix and mingle.
Once more to live as clouds, until it forms new mountain shrouds.

i lie down in the road
no one around
looking at the sky
fluffy gray clouds fill my eyes
i hear thunder in the distance
its getting closer
the wind picks up
nice breeze flowing over me
something cool and moist hits my cheek
finally its here
drops of water fall from heaven
i close my eyes
slightly cracking my lips
just enough to taste the water in my mouth
it starts pouring down
my body cooling off
from the summer heat
im at peace
listening to the sound of the rain
rush down the sidewalk
i smile and think to myself
how i love summer rain

Staring down at the blue water
Smell the salt air
The climb to the top was almost too much to bare
Closing your eyes remembering wading in the freezing water
Wondering if this was the end of your life
Arms extending as your heart takes flight
Feeling your feet about to slip
But in his arms you will never slip
Your weight shifts as your heart begins to pound
Now you remember the fall
You remember the wind sweeping past your face
As no sound could escape your lungs.
Accept the fall.
Knowing his arms were not strong enough to keep you from the waters below
The nights spent crying as you felt your heart dying
Cold water froze a beating heart
In an instant warmth wraps around you
Strength pulls you in
As words whisper so softly you swear it was the wind
Beautiful darling, you can only fall towards me
Eyes widen to find the deep cold sea
As far down as it ever could be
You lean into him, feeling the warmth of the sun above
Enjoying every moment, every smile, and every second look
For the first time in a long time
You no longer fear the sea below
You no longer wait for the pain
For the day may come where you are freezing in the waters
But after a climb unlike the rest
Your lungs will fill with the warmest breath
And a love that will be your best

Seven thousand miles away from home,
the smell of our wives,
the laughter of our children,
seem all but gone.
Across an ocean,
a world away and full of fear,
our hearts desire;
nothing more but to have them near.
In a desert,
with landscapes abound,
hours may pass,
with not one sound.
As the sun takes refuge,
off in the west,
we pray to the almighty,
that we pass the test.
As darkness falls,
time begins to slow,
and we scan the ridges,
for an evil foe.
With the dawning of a new day,
we witness a glorious sunrise,
and we dream of our families and wonder,
how must we seem in their eyes?
Do they truly understand,
why we are miles from home?
Do they know why,
we must be gone?
Do they realize,
that we hold them dear?
And do they know,
that we want nothing more, but to have them near?
Seven thousand miles away,
with each passing day,
we are one day closer to home.

we know drops makes an ocean
water gives us many product
so save water to predict
for the enemy scarcity
and make a beautiful city
by saving water we make our live better
if we save water we avoid the way to fighter
for the clean water
save plants and make environment green
and keep our country clean.

A single drop,
from a dew laden tree
A single drop falls to earth
from a silver birch
Thus a new birth.
This single drop begins its' search
To find another single drop
to join,to form a pool.
This gathering will never stop
This tiny silver rivulet,
joined by others
Forming a stream,
with its brothers
This stream grows,
shaded by silver birch
This water now flows
tinkling over rock
It continues its' search,
to find others in the flock
This river now flows,
cascading over rocks
heavy with melted winter snow
Billions of single drops,
making new flocks
This river flows in to the sea
Fresh water meeting salinity
Tides governed by the moon
This single drop
Its life will end soon
A single drop carried high
far in to the sky
From the immense blue sea,
caught by billowing cloud
To be delivered to me
A single drop to fall
A single drop I need,
to start this waterfall,
a tiny water seed
A single drop I feel.....
on my cheek
Nature begins to heal
More drops I seek
A single drop to find its way,
more drops ...i pray.
A single drop matters you see........
A life event,
for you and me

When i'm thirsty,
i use it to drink.
when i'm dirty,
i use it to bathe,
and some times wash.
To cook my food,
i use it every day,
and washing my hands,
i can't forget it at all.
When i'm sick,
i take just a drop,
and back in life
as if i'm a king.
The plants i grow,
they need it a lot.
Ducks and pigs,
i can't forget them.
oh! water is life.

A young girl
Blossom From the Concrete
Her Pretty Curls
Fallen from the streets
Taken by a loved stranger
Her most prized possession
Her family doesn't since danger
She hides his confession
Should she forgive him even though he deceived her
Or should she tell the the secret and have nobody believe her
She decides to silence herself but til this day it haunts her
She thought moving would help but in her dreams he taunts her
Maybe it was a good thing that she kept his darkest secret
But she has a goal and she's not afraid to reach it
