Premium Member Tough Luck

I'm Sorry,
So... Guilty Sorry,
For Chasing That
Poor Hungry Rat Away.

I Don’t Think
That Makes
Me Gay...

Callous, Though
And Weak!
In A Vermin
Rat-Like Way.

Blah blah blah
Don't rhyme.

Premium Member DAILY GRATITUDE HARD WORK, PATIENCE AND LUCK

I am grateful for the combination of hard work,
patience and luck
because I am experienced enough to know
If I work hard
and am patient
eventually
I’ll find the place where the four leaf clover grows.

Premium Member WHEN GOOD LUCK FINALLY ARRIVES

We will all have good and bad luck in our life
sometimes in the same day.
May we be blessed to endure the bad luck
so we can be there to enjoy
when the good luck comes our way.

Donald Duck and Daisy Duck

had so much plucky luck

they invested in tranquil park ponds

then meditated swimming alongside fronds !

Premium Member Bite Me, Lady Luck

Doggone it, I used to make a killin' at casinos,
          R o l l i n g sevens; killing em' all softly
The way The Rolling Stones kill it on the stage.
Brimming with confidence, I made my way back,

But my Tumblin Dice came up snake eyes.
"Angie," my so-called "Lady Luck" betrays me.
Whenever I peek through a window of
Golden opportunity, you bet she'll Paint It Black.

She frowns at me, and loves to remind me,
"You Can't Always Get What You Want."
She coldly snatches glory Under My Thumb.
She tells me my chances of recapturing

My lost mojo are as good as riding Wild Horses.
         Across the open Appalachian badlands,
Or picking up Honky Tonk Women at
My local Ruby Tuesday restaurant. Gee, thanks!

Dumbstruck Dumb-Luck

The soft curves of your smile,
    echoing mile after mile.
Not reminiscent of a grandma,
    but rather, a banana.

Your glowing doughy eyes,
look as squishy as thy thighs.
You create a fervent need,
akin to a vampire, lusting to feed.

You send my brain a-boiling,
as a custard that is spoiling!
Left unable to speak or think,
A simple blank stare, forgetting to blink.

Good Night and Good Luck

“Good Night and Good Luck,”
Brought to us from the stage,
Allowed viewers from home
To with theater engage.

Based on Edward R. Murrow
Who, for CBS News,
Got to challenge McCarthy,
It got rave reviews.

Though George Clooney was brilliant,
As was the whole cast,
What most got me was watching
A glimpse of the past…

When the bad guy was finally
Brought to his knees
After hurting so many
To varied degrees.

It’s a relevant topic
In light of the way
That democracy is
Being threatened today.

The unfortunate truth is,
At least what I see,
That to topple this bad guy,
There’s no guarantee.

“The times are a’changin”
Can’t really apply –
That train’s left the station,
No matter the why.

So I am afraid
We can never go back,
For the truth will be constantly
Under attack.

Premium Member Rare Bird

In hindsight I can note a master stroke
A revelation from somebody out there
My soul’s salvation could have been a joke
A sad man’s joke, that anyone can share
That’s why it looks so truthful, this old tale
As if our lives were planned on reasonable grounds
But anyway, you see that luck prevails
And luck’s a rare bird, it never makes a sound
It flies whatever way it wants to fly
Lands down wherever it prefers to land
Once I have seen its gaudy plumage in the sky
I waved, and found a feather in my hand
I was so lucky for a period of time
Had no idea that its going to last one day
We laughed and sang, and everything was fine
Then colours faded since you've gone away
No wisdom brings a healing consolation
Perhaprs it shouldn’t for a pillock that I am
But didn’t we receive that revelation
To gain some luck, until the story had to end.

Pot Luck Suppers

Anapest!
Intro ---------------Coda
and all inbetween.
Très chère Mère and
La porte de Mon Père
are proposed names for the Restaurants.
There a 40 piece Orchestra can
perform.
Seating and dining
areas separate.
Two Restaurants in the same building
and a deal with the Bed and Breakfast 1/4 miles down.
The Three doors Down Deal
will inspire a more family oriented feeling.
We'll let the ballroom be
used for alternatives
but it will mainly be scoped toward
the Familest of Show's
with the best French and French
inspired foods in
America!
From the Eclipse tp the Pink Moon..
the waist bands and C-areas
are ah waiting..

Until Next Time

Until we meet again

Not by chance

But by design

Not by accident

But by choices accepted or declined

Not by coincidence

But by the alignment of our souls

Not by a fluke

But by universal sparks that unite our unrelenting goals

Not by a stroke of luck

But by focus and a guided decision

Not by blind impact

But by stars on a predetermined collision

Until we meet again

And we will meet again

Let’s be ready!
