Your Thick Is Thin, Your Thin's Wanting
You promise this, you promise that, you promise everything
A promise means what you say you'll do is done regardless of who wins
You promised me that you'd stay with me through the hard times - the lows, you know - through thick and thin
Your thick is thin, your thin's wanting, your promises don't mean a thing
You turn away when the winds set in, when the cold embrace takes hold
It's me the person that you love your kicking into the cold
Where is your strength, where is your grit, did you mean any of it?
That ring on your finger is no trinket, it's supposed to mean something
Love is not a game, love is not nothing, love is worth more than anything
Love can't be measured by currency, love surely has to win
If love means so little in this day and age, what's the point in living?
