You Only See Me, Through Imperfect Eyes

I'm so full of love, but you only see hate, You don't understand me, I cannot relate. I give of myself, time, and time again, but, you don't even call me your best friend. I am someone loyal, faithful and true, but, you just don't see it, what can you do? I've given you life, a perfect start, but, you didn't care at all, you broke my heart. I always speak the truth, but you only hear lies, Too bad...you only see me, through imperfect eyes. There's nothing that I wouldn't do for you, I even sent my dear son, and he died for you. But, you don't even know it, never crosses your mind, Too bad, you only see me, through imperfect eyes. With eyes of faith we see, he who is invisible. John Derek Hamilton November 4,2015
