Yes, You and Me
Over the whole area I had started to scower
When God and His great, magnificent power
Started a small sprinkle then light rain
Fell on forest and flowers and would remain.
Seems like I soon started to sneeze
When the breeze blew through trees
Leaves fell down and all would land
Exactly as God Himself recently planned.
A few lingering, lonely leaves I selected
To see stems and creases which were connected
Each one seen was in such a big race
Wondering who first would end up in space.
They eventually all did disappear
And God again I knew next year
Will bring them all back from heaven above
Like the Christ Child who all of us did love
God's blessed son took one last breath
And after that would meet His death
In future return again so He can see
Us be in heaven yes, you and me
