Writer's Block

Drifting in timeless wonder
Tattered frames in faceless forms
Misplaced words an amnesiac mind
Stolen thoughts in seconds frame
Images so fleeting are undefinable
Time stolen as the clock ticks steadily
Drifting in an unknown universe
Space and time flutters around me
Words flowing within a mirage
Pages stand in bare form
White, barren without words

i would try a new form or a contest. sometimes other poets give me ideals. but i can say that writing about writers block is a wonderful subject. i've done that before. it was one of my best pieces.

I like this, I guess we all go through that every now and then. There has been times when I want to write something, but nothing comes to my mind. Thanks for sharing...... Lucilla

Phyllis you have creatively captured a picture of writer's block. I like this! Love, Kim
