Laura, it seems that you and I have had our sisters on our minds here lately. I'm so sorry for your loss. My sister didn't know it was coming but it all was caused from the long use of drugs. I was only 28 at the time she was 21. :'( Wonderful poem and congratulations on your win!

The loss is poignant and I felt the pain through each work and as the sentences cascaded down! Hugs

Sad if this is a true story. I think that was really cool the way you started out the poem. The guy made wreckage of not only his own life but of yours.

Thank you, it's about my sister who took her own life almost 5 years ago. This New Years Eve it will be five years already. I still can't believe it and lately she's really been on my mind..
